  Speaker 1: all right. Happy Valentine's Day conditionally? Yeah I do. Yeah,

  Speaker 1: that's me a mind come with conditions. I love you

  Speaker 1: depends on who you are, like you, I've been feeling

  Speaker 1: that that as a Christian for years now. I know

  Speaker 1: how to I don't even know how I love everybody.

  Speaker 1: I don't think. I don't think that's capable. I don't

  Speaker 1: think I'm really capable of that. That's a lot I

  Speaker 1: got to work on. I'm not capable of loving everybody.

  Speaker 1: I know you're supposed to, but I just don't know

  Speaker 1: how that's possible, you know, because if you keep doing

  Speaker 1: stuff to me, and you keep intentionally trying to bring

  Speaker 1: about harm to me, it's gonna be really hard for

  Speaker 1: me to do that. And I know we're supposed to

  Speaker 1: as people, but that's really really hard to do it.

  Speaker 1: And I think that's what makes the walk of the

  Speaker 1: spiritual walk a challenging one. And I think that's why

  Speaker 1: God set up forgiveness, because you have to be forgiven

  Speaker 1: because there's none perfect, no, not one. I was in
• 1:12
  Speaker 1: Vegas one time and I was at this restaurant having
• 1:15
  Speaker 1: dinner and I was sitting across the table from these
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: white guys, about four of them, it's about six of
• 1:20
  Speaker 1: them having dinner. One of them was pretty buffed hat
• 1:22
  Speaker 1: on the tank top and everything, and they were talking.
• 1:25
  Speaker 1: They looked over and they recognized me, and they said, hey,
• 1:27
  Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, why don't you come and join us? It
• 1:29
  Speaker 1: was just me and my buddy. I said, no, no,
• 1:30
  Speaker 1: we're good man, because I'm not gonna go sit at
• 1:32
  Speaker 1: a table some people I never met before. And they
• 1:35
  Speaker 1: were talking about, hey, man, come on over with Christians,
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: and I went, well, that's cool, but you know what
• 1:40
  Speaker 1: that got to do with me wanting to eat with
• 1:42
  Speaker 1: you though. And then dinner was over and I was
• 1:45
  Speaker 1: walking out and they said, hey man, we really were
• 1:47
  Speaker 1: kind of hurt that you didn't come sit with us.

  Speaker 1: And I said, well, sir, I don't really know y'all.

  Speaker 1: And I came down to have dinner with my buddy
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: and we were talking over a couple of things. Well,
• 1:58
  Speaker 1: you know, man, we're Christian. I think is Christian since
• 2:00
  Speaker 1: we should always fellowship. I said, well, brother, I don't.

  Speaker 1: I don't really know you. I said, you know, I'm
• 2:05
  Speaker 1: not judging you, but I don't know you. And I
• 2:08
  Speaker 1: don't really sit and have dinner with people I don't
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: know because I'll get very little free time. In the

  Speaker 1: time I do have, I spend it with people I know.

  Speaker 1: So no offense to you, brother, but that's all. Well,

  Speaker 1: we just want you to know that we're from the
• 2:21
  Speaker 1: Church of Perfection. I said, oh okay. He said, do
• 2:25
  Speaker 1: you follow that doctrine at the church you at tea?

  Speaker 1: I said, I don't really go to church no more. Well,

  Speaker 1: how can you be a Christian that don't go to church.

  Speaker 1: I don't know, man, I just I just say't been
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: in a while. I said, hey, man, nice talking to y'all.

  Speaker 1: We can we take a second here so we can

  Speaker 1: explain you the doctrine of perfection. I said, no, I

  Speaker 1: really don't. Whatever you're doing, man, that's your thing. Go ahead,

  Speaker 1: Well we practice perfection. We are, we are practicing the

  Speaker 1: perfection of Christ. I said, well, you ain't gonna make it.

  Speaker 1: And I don't know why. I ain't just walk off,

  Speaker 1: but I them have it. I said, well, you ain't

  Speaker 1: gonna make it. Well, how can you say that? I said, Well,
• 3:06
  Speaker 1: because my mama was Sunday school teaching. I was raised
• 3:09
  Speaker 1: to understand that there's none perfect, no, not one. Well,

  Speaker 1: that don't mean you shouldn't practice it. I said, well,

  Speaker 1: go ahead, man, I said, but you ain't gonna make
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: it though, How can you say we won't make it?

  Speaker 1: I said, right here, right now, what you argue with
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: me about? I said, where is Christ in that right there?

  Speaker 1: They said, well, if you don't practice it, who are

  Speaker 1: you to tell us what is Christ? Like? I said, man,

  Speaker 1: I said, man, look here, my bad let me tell

  Speaker 1: you what I'm finna go do. I'm finna go hit
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: this dice table. That's what I'm finna do. Now. If
• 3:46
  Speaker 1: y'all ally was all that bigger perfectionists, why y'all having
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: dinner in Vegas? Because just outside of this restaurant, all
• 3:53
  Speaker 1: that noise we're hearing, that's what I'm here for. And I, well,

  Speaker 1: we have in our convention here. I say, what, people

  Speaker 1: that's practicing perfection comes to Vegas? And they sat there
• 4:07
  Speaker 1: with their mouth hanging open, And probably was a day
• 4:10
  Speaker 1: later I saw one of them play on a slot machine.

  Speaker 1: I just look at people man. I've had so many times, man,
• 4:19
  Speaker 1: just because I used to love going to Vegas. You know,
• 4:20
  Speaker 1: one time I had this lady was standing there watching
• 4:23
  Speaker 1: me shoot dice. I was shooting dice next to Dennis Rodney,
• 4:26
  Speaker 1: and this lady was watching us shoot dice for about
• 4:30
  Speaker 1: at least an hour, and Dennis was he was hot,
• 4:34
  Speaker 1: then he was going cold. I don't bet a lot
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: of money, but I bet I enjoy shooting dice. And
• 4:39
  Speaker 1: I went to the restroom, and the restroom happened to
• 4:41
  Speaker 1: be right over there by the dice table, so you
• 4:44
  Speaker 1: could come out of the restroom and see the dice
• 4:46
  Speaker 1: table the craft table I was shooting at. When I
• 4:48
  Speaker 1: came out of the restroom, the same lady that I
• 4:51
  Speaker 1: had noticed over there watching us stepped out right in
• 4:54
  Speaker 1: front of me and said, Steve Harvey, I am really
• 4:58
  Speaker 1: disappointed in you, and I thought that I should have,
• 5:03
  Speaker 1: you know, put mo on nine or something. She was
• 5:06
  Speaker 1: watching the game. I didn't know what she was disappointed.
• 5:09
  Speaker 1: I said, what you disappointed me in? What she said?
• 5:11
  Speaker 1: I thought you were a Christian. I said, I am
• 5:14
  Speaker 1: a Christian. What you talking about? I've been standing here
• 5:18
  Speaker 1: watching you shoot dice for over an hour, and you're
• 5:20
  Speaker 1: supposed to be a Christian. I said, ma'am, you've been
• 5:23
  Speaker 1: standing here watching me shoot dice for for an hour.

  Speaker 1: I said, how you get in here? I said? What
• 5:29
  Speaker 1: you in here for? I'm in here to shoot dice?
• 5:32
  Speaker 1: You in here to watch me shoot dice? Which form
• 5:35
  Speaker 1: of Christianity you practice it? Well? I'm not shooting dice,
• 5:40
  Speaker 1: I said, but you're watching me, I said, lady. I
• 5:46
  Speaker 1: didn't say this to her, but I walked off thinking,
• 5:49
  Speaker 1: you know, if you watching porn, does that make you
• 5:54
  Speaker 1: better than the person that's in the porn movie? Oh?

  Speaker 1: Let me just ask. So you know what I've learned
• 6:03
  Speaker 1: man in my life that there are none perfect, no
• 6:07
  Speaker 1: not one. Try as you may, you are not perfect,
• 6:11
  Speaker 1: and stop letting other people put they ideals of perfection
• 6:15
  Speaker 1: on you, because God is really clear There's none perfect, no,
• 6:20
  Speaker 1: not one, not even them. Y'all have a great day

  Speaker 1: to day, live the best life you can, and when
• 6:26
  Speaker 1: you need and when you need forgiveness, go to God
• 6:29
  Speaker 1: for because everybody go need it, including them. Those are
