- 0:02Speaker 1: On scoring lives Ostrodia.
- 0:05Speaker 2: This is the Wider Panalty Show.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Good evening and welcome to the Rita Panty Show. Coming
- 0:11Speaker 3: up tonight. The Liberal Party goes into panic mode over
- 0:15Speaker 3: Just Enterprises comments on mass migration and the voting patterns
- 0:19Speaker 3: of Indian migrants.
- 0:20Speaker 4: Adam Crichton, Indicator, will.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Join me to discuss that and much more. Anthony Alberizi
- 0:26Speaker 3: is calling on business leaders to back labors at net
- 0:28Speaker 3: zero ambitions. I'll get Professor Iam Primer's reaction to that.
- 0:32Speaker 3: The Great Josh Hammer will join me with the latest
- 0:35Speaker 3: from the US, and later in the hour, Kinzisko Field
- 0:38Speaker 3: will tell us why Megan Markle is being compared to
- 0:41Speaker 3: Kamala Harris and Left is losing. It features an almighty
- 0:45Speaker 3: meltdown from Rosio o'donald. It could be a costly meltdown
- 0:49Speaker 3: if Donald Trump sues.
- 0:51Speaker 4: Wake up, Wake Up.
- 0:54Speaker 5: Our president is a serial pedophile, raapist, and that's what
- 0:59Speaker 5: he is.
- 0:59Speaker 3: But first, the usual suspects in the Liberal Party are
- 1:03Speaker 3: whetting the bed again after Senator Jacinta Nambajimpur Price said
- 1:08Speaker 3: in an interview last week that one of the reasons
- 1:11Speaker 3: why labor has overseen record immigration numbers in recent years.
- 1:15Speaker 3: Is the electoral advantage they see in the country's shifting demographics.
- 1:20Speaker 3: She highlighted the Indian community, which, according to labor pulses,
- 1:24Speaker 3: heavily favors labor.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Cee an almighty meltdown.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Susan Lee is there to eat humble pie. One of
- 1:33Speaker 1: her shadow ministers accused the Albanesi government of bending migration
- 1:38Speaker 1: to bring in more potential labor voters.
- 1:41Speaker 4: Absolutely, this is this is labor.
- 1:44Speaker 1: And which groups favor labor.
- 1:46Speaker 4: There is a concern with the Indian community.
- 1:48Speaker 1: The suggestion offensive for many on the Indian community among
- 1:53Speaker 1: almost one million Australians born in India, our fastest growing diaspora.
- 2:00Speaker 6: That the remarks were hurtful.
- 2:02Speaker 1: The opposition leader condemns the price comments.
- 2:05Speaker 6: They were wrong, They've been corrected and they won't be repeated.
- 2:09Speaker 4: We move on now.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Hurtful offensive. Why is any of that controversial?
- 2:16Speaker 4: Who is labor?
- 2:17Speaker 3: Polster Cossin Marus on the Indian vote in Australia, eighty.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Five percent of the Indiandia aspat voted for the Labor
- 2:25Speaker 1: Party at the last election.
- 2:26Speaker 7: Give their abounds.
- 2:27Speaker 1: It varies across the country.
- 2:29Speaker 4: What was the number sorry cause about eighty five percent.
- 2:34Speaker 3: But no, it appears that facts and figures are now
- 2:37Speaker 3: unacceptable in modern Australia. He was Opposition Leader Susan Lee
- 2:42Speaker 3: on the ABC yesterday.
- 2:45Speaker 6: David, the comments were wrong, they were not correct, They
- 2:49Speaker 6: should not have taken place, and corrections have been made.
- 2:53Speaker 6: They will not be they will not be repeated. They
- 2:56Speaker 6: will not be repeated. But what I said subsequent to
- 2:59Speaker 6: those comments, and what I want to say now as well,
- 3:03Speaker 6: is to express my deep appreciation to the Indian community
- 3:06Speaker 6: for all they have brought to Australia, for all they
- 3:09Speaker 6: continue to bring, for their representation in every forum of
- 3:13Speaker 6: Australian society.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Those comments will not be repeated, really, Susan. Now, Senator
- 3:19Speaker 3: Price did clarify her comments, so they didn't need clarification,
- 3:22Speaker 3: but she has certainly not apologized and she has accused
- 3:26Speaker 3: of Willimpia Alex Hawk, whose electorate has a large Indian community,
- 3:29Speaker 3: of cowardly an inappropriate conduct. Joining me now for more
- 3:34Speaker 3: on this as Chief Economists and Senior Fellow.
- 3:36Speaker 4: At the Institute of Public Affairs Adam.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Crichton and Men's's Research Senior Fellow Nick Cater. Adam, I'll
- 3:44Speaker 3: start with you what do you make of this saga
- 3:47Speaker 3: and Alex Hawk and Susan Lay's response to it, amongst others.
- 3:51Speaker 8: Well, it's just extraordinary, really, I mean, there was nothing
- 3:54Speaker 8: wrong with the comments that she made. I thought they
- 3:56Speaker 8: may have been slightly clumsy, but as you pointed out,
- 3:58Speaker 8: the labor pulses have said that then community here by
- 4:00Speaker 8: large votes votes of overwhelming in labor or at least
- 4:04Speaker 8: they have in most recent elections, and so that's just
- 4:07Speaker 8: simply a fact that was pointed out. I think Susan
- 4:10Speaker 8: Lee's response, I thought was very humiliating for the coalition,
- 4:12Speaker 8: But so I think the vast bulk of people would
- 4:14Speaker 8: think that what Jacinda said was reasonable, if maybe it's
- 4:18Speaker 8: slightly clumsy, and yet she's you know, she's kind of
- 4:20Speaker 8: wanting her to apologize. And obviously Alex Hawk, I think
- 4:23Speaker 8: is he is concerned about about shoring up that it's
- 4:26Speaker 8: in his own electric. So look, I think the whole
- 4:28Speaker 8: thing's been very embarrassing and I think it just reflects
- 4:31Speaker 8: the lack of willingness in the political class and the
- 4:33Speaker 8: major parties to acknowledge that immigration isn't problem in Australia.
- 4:36Speaker 8: It's at extraordinary high levels, and then there is the
- 4:39Speaker 8: cultural question as well that some people are concerned about.
- 4:41Speaker 3: So, you know, Nick, we have seen a huge explosion
- 4:46Speaker 3: and the numbers have come into this country particular the
- 4:48Speaker 3: last few years, and you can see that with Indian
- 4:51Speaker 3: born immigrants, who are now the second biggest migrant group
- 4:55Speaker 3: in the country and the fastest growing, nearing one million.
- 4:58Speaker 3: And if eighty five the center of them are voting
- 5:01Speaker 3: labor according to Cosamarus, that's the figure approximately that could
- 5:08Speaker 3: change the course of elections for years to come if
- 5:11Speaker 3: if that is accurate and consistent.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Yeah, but you would have said that about the black
- 5:15Speaker 2: and Latino votes in the US before Donald Trump. Everybody said, oh,
- 5:20Speaker 2: they've rusted on Democrat voters, but Trump showed that actually,
- 5:25Speaker 2: you know, people from those backgrounds have the same concerns
- 5:28Speaker 2: as every other American and if you appeal to them
- 5:31Speaker 2: on the right issues, they will back you, as the
- 5:34Speaker 2: Black and Latino vote has in the United States, and
- 5:36Speaker 2: as I'm sure that the Indians, Muslims whoever, would back
- 5:40Speaker 2: the coalition if they just came out with policies only
- 5:44Speaker 2: the immigration question. I do think it is a huge
- 5:48Speaker 2: distraction to talk about the Indian population because issue here
- 5:51Speaker 2: is not one particular group or the other. It's the
- 5:53Speaker 2: fact that there are too many altogether. You know that.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Tony Burke last week said there would be a quote
- 5:58Speaker 2: of one hundred and eighty five this year. We know
- 6:01Speaker 2: the real number is going to be at least double that,
- 6:03Speaker 2: because the government has is out of control. It doesn't
- 6:06Speaker 2: really control the number of people who come here on
- 6:08Speaker 2: other visas and then reply when they're here and so forth.
- 6:11Speaker 2: And also, I think the government's beholden anybody. It's ethnic
- 6:15Speaker 2: groups for sure, but it's also the universities. It cannot
- 6:18Speaker 2: stand up for the universities and say, look, two hundred
- 6:20Speaker 2: and ninety five thousand student visas is too much.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Well, you're right about the Latino voters and in fact,
- 6:30Speaker 3: immigrants from a lot of backgrounds in the US, including
- 6:33Speaker 3: Asian voters. I wrote about that in last week's Harold's
- 6:36Speaker 3: Son about the way Donald Trump has brought on those
- 6:40Speaker 3: formerly rustled on Democrats into the Republican fold, recording the
- 6:45Speaker 3: highest percentage of voters of any Republican candidate.
- 6:50Speaker 4: But Adam, that's with the.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Right candidate and the right policies, and the Liberal Party
- 6:55Speaker 3: if that is their idea of winning Indian voters to
- 6:59Speaker 3: just be weak and to keep talking about the contribution
- 7:03Speaker 3: they're making as opposed to actually providing policies that are
- 7:08Speaker 3: appealing to that electorate and to the wider electorate.
- 7:11Speaker 8: Yeah, look, I think certainly that is true.
- 7:12Speaker 4: In fact, it's soon.
- 7:13Speaker 8: I think it's insulting really to the ind community to
- 7:15Speaker 8: talk about them like that, to say that they're offended
- 7:17Speaker 8: by these very mild remarks. I mean, these are people
- 7:20Speaker 8: like the rest of us, and you know, I think
- 7:21Speaker 8: you'd be You'd be very hard pressed to find many
- 7:24Speaker 8: Indians in the Indian community that first even heard of
- 7:27Speaker 8: this in the first place, and then secondly we're offended
- 7:29Speaker 8: by it. So look, but one thing I think worth
- 7:33Speaker 8: pointing out is the phrase out of control. We always
- 7:34Speaker 8: say it's out of control the immigration system. But frankly,
- 7:37Speaker 8: I think both sides of politics actually like extremely high
- 7:40Speaker 8: immigration and they're actually quite quite happy with the numbers.
- 7:43Speaker 8: So for some people it's out of control. But there
- 7:46Speaker 8: is a belief in both Labor Party and the Coalition
- 7:48Speaker 8: that we need ever higher GDP and of course this
- 7:50Speaker 8: has been very bad for GDP per capita.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Now the Prime Minister has arguably changed AFL teams a
- 7:57Speaker 3: number of times, judging by all the different skulls and
- 8:00Speaker 3: jumpers we've seen him wearing over the years. But he
- 8:03Speaker 3: does claim to be a lifelong Hawk supporter. But that
- 8:07Speaker 3: didn't stop him from being booed at the game on Saturday.
- 8:12Speaker 2: It's a little bit nervous for the first time.
- 8:13Speaker 9: Baby, just we just Hawthorn fans that have traveled.
- 8:17Speaker 7: Sure there at.
- 8:19Speaker 3: That part, and then there was this interaction with Hawthorne
- 8:22Speaker 3: coach Sam Mitchell. Look at Mitchell's reaction at the end.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Oh adam.
- 8:36Speaker 3: This game was in Greater Western Sydney. I think Albow
- 8:40Speaker 3: would be among friends there. But the booing was undeniable
- 8:45Speaker 3: and it's got headlines around the country.
- 8:46Speaker 4: Yes, certainly that's true.
- 8:48Speaker 8: Look but I think most crowds do tend to boo politicians.
- 8:51Speaker 8: I think it's part of Australian culture, Australian tradition. And
- 8:53Speaker 8: actually I do know. Actually this week in New York,
- 8:55Speaker 8: Donald Trump was booed as well. So I think in
- 8:57Speaker 8: sporting matches you just get booed.
- 8:59Speaker 3: But well that's a bit different at I mean, in fact,
- 9:01Speaker 3: I've placing you some footage later that where Donald Trump
- 9:05Speaker 3: was getting very loud. She is at the US Open,
- 9:07Speaker 3: which is surprise, and given it's a New York city,
- 9:10Speaker 3: a very blue city in a blue state, there was
- 9:14Speaker 3: nothing mixed about that. That was just straight out booing Nick.
- 9:19Speaker 3: But I don't think the Prime Minis is going to
- 9:21Speaker 3: be terribly concerned. But he certainly looked unhappy and the
- 9:24Speaker 3: AFLCO looked pretty bemused next to him.
- 9:31Speaker 2: I don't trust the guy. I mean, I come from
- 9:33Speaker 2: England and anybody who doesn't back their local soccer team
- 9:37Speaker 2: is entirely disreputable. Whatever he is local soccer team, I've
- 9:40Speaker 2: got very bad one, by the way. But he says
- 9:42Speaker 2: he's been a Hawk supporter since the late nineteen eighties.
- 9:46Speaker 2: That actually makes it worse. The Sydney Swans were up
- 9:49Speaker 2: and running, they had Warwick Kappa playing for them, for
- 9:51Speaker 2: goodness sake, Why hasn't he been a Sydney Swan supporter
- 9:54Speaker 2: from the beginning. I'm deeply suspicious of the whole business,
- 9:57Speaker 2: and I'm not surprised the Hawks fans.
- 10:02Speaker 3: I don't think it was just the Hawks fans. I
- 10:04Speaker 3: think it was the GWS fans as well. It seemed
- 10:06Speaker 3: to be but at the end he didn't get onto
- 10:08Speaker 3: the big screen too much after that, which was disappointing.
- 10:12Speaker 4: Now to what some are calling the.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Worst example of bad policy in the world, Australia's tobacco excise,
- 10:18Speaker 3: which has created a monster five billion dollar black market,
- 10:23Speaker 3: resulting in at least one hundred and fifty five bombings
- 10:26Speaker 3: in the past two years.
- 10:27Speaker 4: Nick, what is the solution here?
- 10:30Speaker 3: I mean, Anthony Albanez is not going to remove the
- 10:33Speaker 3: excise or dramatically reduce it. What is the solution to
- 10:37Speaker 3: this enormous problem they've created.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Well, Number one solution is policing, isn't it. There's crime
- 10:43Speaker 2: happening here. We need to have the police out there,
- 10:45Speaker 2: and I think the federal government, to be honest, should
- 10:47Speaker 2: be giving the States money for this. Some of the
- 10:51Speaker 2: money I think Adam will nobod it's about eight billion
- 10:53Speaker 2: dollars a year. I think they currently collect. Some of
- 10:56Speaker 2: that should be going to the States. As for the
- 10:58Speaker 2: economic seeing, well, plastic economic view is that you need
- 11:01Speaker 2: to remove or lower the taxes, but I think you'd
- 11:04Speaker 2: have to remove them a long way because they've now
- 11:06Speaker 2: built up a habit. People are plainly finding they can
- 11:09Speaker 2: get these things a lot, lot cheaper with no risk
- 11:12Speaker 2: of being caught or prosecuted. They're going to do it right, Like,
- 11:16Speaker 2: just because you smoke cigarettes, you maybe unwise, but you're
- 11:18Speaker 2: not stupid.
- 11:22Speaker 4: Adam, What is the solution?
- 11:23Speaker 3: Do you see it as conceivable that the federal government
- 11:27Speaker 3: will reduce the excise?
- 11:29Speaker 4: I think that's highly unlikely.
- 11:31Speaker 8: Well, certainly they should, and that's what Labor Premier Chrismins
- 11:33Speaker 8: has said, which I think is a very good idea,
- 11:35Speaker 8: But the reality is they won't do that thing, and
- 11:37Speaker 8: to spend more on enforcement. But it's fair to say,
- 11:40Speaker 8: is this really is the biggest public policy fiasco I
- 11:42Speaker 8: would say in Australian history? Quite possibly. I mean they
- 11:45Speaker 8: have lost nine billion dollars of revenue every year, which
- 11:48Speaker 8: is absolutely enormous. I mean, just to give you an
- 11:49Speaker 8: idea that it's so much larger than the four past
- 11:52Speaker 8: revenue from the new super innovation tax Wow. Lastly more Wow.
- 11:55Speaker 8: And they've also increased smoking by a very significant margin.
- 11:59Speaker 4: So it's just been a total lose lose. Yep, it's
- 12:01Speaker 4: totally lose lose.
- 12:03Speaker 3: But there doesn't seem to be any shift in policy.
- 12:06Speaker 3: They are talking about more policing that there's been an
- 12:10Speaker 3: explosion in violence around this, But beyond that, do you
- 12:14Speaker 3: see any federal government tackling this?
- 12:18Speaker 4: And the Libs really did nothing about it either.
- 12:21Speaker 8: Well, I think they'll just spend a few hundred million
- 12:22Speaker 8: dollars here and there and say that they're doing things.
- 12:24Speaker 8: But these gangs have become so powerful. The reality is
- 12:27Speaker 8: it wouldn't surprise me if they actually tried to stop it,
- 12:29Speaker 8: that the games would actually intimidate the politicians because this
- 12:32Speaker 8: is a revenue bow of billions of dollars a year,
- 12:35Speaker 8: and if a government threatens to take away that, then
- 12:37Speaker 8: generally speaking, the gangs do something about it. So it's
- 12:39Speaker 8: a dangerous situation that's been created now.
- 12:41Speaker 3: To a bizarre statement issued by Victorian Primages into Alan
- 12:45Speaker 3: claiming that criticism of Dan Andrews attending a Chinese military
- 12:49Speaker 3: parade amounts to and I quote, divisive rehetoric that hurts
- 12:54Speaker 3: Chinese victorians. In a statement, she made a number of
- 12:57Speaker 3: strange claims, including a senior federal Liberal MP using the
- 13:02Speaker 3: term clapping like seals.
- 13:03Speaker 4: This week had all the.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Hallmarks of a liberal senator who claimed on election campaign
- 13:09Speaker 3: had been infiltrated by Chinese spies.
- 13:14Speaker 4: Nick, what do you make of that.
- 13:17Speaker 3: It's a bizarre statement to release, but obviously Labor sees
- 13:21Speaker 3: some electoral advantage year. They know that the Chinese community
- 13:25Speaker 3: is enormous, and I think they know Dad Andrew's appearance
- 13:29Speaker 3: at that military parade wouldn't be seen in a negative
- 13:33Speaker 3: light by many in that community.
- 13:37Speaker 2: That press relief for so bizarre reata, have we really
- 13:40Speaker 2: checked it out? By the way that it's not some
- 13:42Speaker 2: Ai fake I mean to make the link between a
- 13:46Speaker 2: liberal MP saying that they were clapping like seals. So
- 13:50Speaker 2: this is an attack on poor Chinese kiddies in Melbourne
- 13:53Speaker 2: who are in tears and going home crying into their
- 13:55Speaker 2: lunch boxes. I mean, for goodness sake, it is a
- 13:58Speaker 2: total stretch since its I know there is a real
- 14:01Speaker 2: danger of conflating the Chinese government, which is terrible with
- 14:04Speaker 2: the Chinese people that are great people. But you know,
- 14:08Speaker 2: in this case, it was obvious, wasn't it. We're talking
- 14:10Speaker 2: about Daniel Andrews standing in the vip dot box with
- 14:14Speaker 2: his MOE presumably talking to some of the worst dictators,
- 14:18Speaker 2: in fact, the worst dictators in the world. That is
- 14:21Speaker 2: just a bad thing, full stop, and I can't I
- 14:25Speaker 2: think just Cinda Allen has done herself a huge disfavor
- 14:27Speaker 2: by not distancing herself from her predecessor.
- 14:31Speaker 4: Adam, I've got to disagree.
- 14:32Speaker 3: I think there's a reason why the Prime Minister and
- 14:35Speaker 3: the Victorian Premiere haven't condemned or even criticized Dad Andrews.
- 14:41Speaker 3: They know it has some electoral advantage. There's large groups
- 14:45Speaker 3: of Chinese voters in certain electorates and they don't want
- 14:48Speaker 3: to offend them.
- 14:49Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 14:49Speaker 8: Look, I think this basically goes back to the earlier
- 14:52Speaker 8: point where you do have these very large communities of
- 14:54Speaker 8: people from overseas, and it just means naturally the politicians
- 14:57Speaker 8: in Australia to win their vote, they have to pay
- 14:59Speaker 8: attention to how they're to China and India and other countries.
- 15:02Speaker 8: And that's just to be expected. Obviously, if you moved
- 15:04Speaker 8: to another country, you still pay attention to what happens
- 15:06Speaker 8: at home. So I think the timing of that letter too,
- 15:09Speaker 8: So the press release was extremely bad are given the
- 15:12Speaker 8: kind of all the term would have seen in Melbourne
- 15:13Speaker 8: in recent weeks. So yeah, you know, I don't think
- 15:17Speaker 8: it's going to help you in the long run.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Adam Christ and Nick KESA thank you so much for
- 15:20Speaker 3: your time. Joining me now is esteem geologist and author
- 15:24Speaker 3: Professor Ian Plymer, Professor. The Prime Minister has addressed the
- 15:28Speaker 3: Business Council of Australia's annual dinner and has urged business
- 15:33Speaker 3: leaders to back his government's plans for an ambitious twenty
- 15:37Speaker 3: thirty five emissions reductions target, and is about to consult
- 15:41Speaker 3: Corporate Australia on matters such as tax deregulation skills and
- 15:47Speaker 3: AI regulation leading into future budgets.
- 15:51Speaker 4: This almost seems in like a bit of a bribe.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Get on board with net zero policies and will consult
- 15:58Speaker 3: you on corporate tax and regulations, things that labor know
- 16:02Speaker 3: are huge concerns for the business community.
- 16:06Speaker 11: Well, he's feeling the heat, and the heat is that
- 16:09Speaker 11: no one really believes him any longer. Net zero is
- 16:12Speaker 11: one of these impossible dreams and they can do the sums.
- 16:16Speaker 11: It's very easy. You don't have to be a scientist
- 16:19Speaker 11: to do this, and to get to forty three percent
- 16:22Speaker 11: emissions reduction that will have a monumental effect on global climate.
- 16:28Speaker 11: It will lower global temperature on the assumption that carbon
- 16:31Speaker 11: dioxide drives global warming, but it will lower global temperature
- 16:35Speaker 11: by zero point zero zero zero six degrees celsius. You
- 16:41Speaker 11: can't even measure that, So his forty three percent creates
- 16:45Speaker 11: an immeasurable result. It doesn't consider what China, Russia, and
- 16:50Speaker 11: the US and India are doing. It doesn't consider that
- 16:54Speaker 11: Australia emits one point one percent of the total global emissions,
- 16:59Speaker 11: which is a statistical error in the measurement. So I
- 17:03Speaker 11: think they know that he's talking through a four tongue.
- 17:06Speaker 11: I think they know they're trying to be bribed. Many
- 17:09Speaker 11: of them will willingly accept the bribe of taxpayers money,
- 17:13Speaker 11: and the taxpayers end up paying again and again and again.
- 17:17Speaker 11: Ultimately this has to end, and it will end in tiers.
- 17:23Speaker 4: Ian.
- 17:24Speaker 3: One of the world's largest asset managers, Nuvene, has unveiled
- 17:29Speaker 3: plans to invest hundreds of millions of dollars in Australian
- 17:32Speaker 3: renewable and storage projects over the next three years. Surely
- 17:36Speaker 3: this is fantastic news and will we see a lot
- 17:39Speaker 3: less taxpayer funds devoted to renewables if private money is
- 17:44Speaker 3: being invested, Well, the.
- 17:46Speaker 11: Only reason this money is coming into Australia is that
- 17:49Speaker 11: they get subsidies, and this is taxpayers money. They have
- 17:52Speaker 11: the doors open for them to go and rape and
- 17:55Speaker 11: pillage farmer's land and to reach his eighty percent of
- 17:59Speaker 11: renewables to the grid, Australia would need to have one
- 18:03Speaker 11: point six times the area of Tasmania covered in wind
- 18:06Speaker 11: turbines and covered in solar panels. Now this is the
- 18:09Speaker 11: green left pushing very very hard from the cities to
- 18:13Speaker 11: actually avoid having these unsightly dangerous wind and solar complexes
- 18:18Speaker 11: in their own backyard and killing off prime agricultural land.
- 18:23Speaker 11: So we are being taken for a ride. The bulk
- 18:27Speaker 11: of the investors in Australia renewables are foreign companies. The
- 18:31Speaker 11: second thing is that they put in no big bond
- 18:34Speaker 11: as you do in a mining company or as you
- 18:36Speaker 11: do in a factor. They put in no big bond
- 18:39Speaker 11: for a rehabilitation, so they can get subsidies, make a
- 18:43Speaker 11: huge amount of profit on walk away and leave someone
- 18:46Speaker 11: else with the problem of cleaning up the mess. So
- 18:48Speaker 11: of course they're interested in investing, and of course the
- 18:51Speaker 11: government is interested in foreign investments, so they can say, oh,
- 18:56Speaker 11: you know what a wonderful place and we're doing such
- 18:58Speaker 11: a good job and people are coming in investing, But
- 19:01Speaker 11: they don't really give us the basics, and the basics
- 19:04Speaker 11: are that every four days China builds a new coal
- 19:08Speaker 11: fired power station. We're desperately trying to keep ours open.
- 19:12Speaker 11: If we keep them closed and close even more, then
- 19:16Speaker 11: no matter how many renewal would you put in the grid,
- 19:18Speaker 11: we will have nothing when the wind doesn't blow and
- 19:21Speaker 11: when the sun doesn't shine. So this is a giant
- 19:24Speaker 11: coln and certainly people in the bush are broken up
- 19:27Speaker 11: to this. People in the cities have to realize these
- 19:30Speaker 11: food supplies are being threatened by such policies.
- 19:35Speaker 4: Professor.
- 19:35Speaker 3: The impliment, thank you so much for your time. Thank
- 19:38Speaker 3: you now here.
- 19:40Speaker 4: Is a little treat for you.
- 19:41Speaker 3: After the break we'll have left is losing it, but
- 19:43Speaker 3: first ninety seconds of Fremantle fans losing it after the
- 19:48Speaker 3: dock is devastating one point elimination final loss to Gold
- 19:52Speaker 3: Coast on Saturday night. This is a superb compilation courtesy
- 19:57Speaker 3: of The West Australian Enjoy.
- 20:00Speaker 4: Oh my god, do.
- 20:03Speaker 5: It man, I can't do it.
- 20:07Speaker 4: I'm absolutely livid.
- 20:09Speaker 10: I cannot explain.
- 20:10Speaker 4: I'll live it, I am. I will never forgive Freo
- 20:13Speaker 4: for what just happened. Two hours of footy, for that
- 20:15Speaker 4: decision to decide it is ridiculous.
- 20:17Speaker 12: The game is gone.
- 20:18Speaker 4: Put me in green and I'll do a better job.
- 20:21Speaker 7: Right in front of me, right in front of me.
- 20:24Speaker 7: I'm West Coast, and I couldn't be happy.
- 20:26Speaker 10: To some degree, I'm glad.
- 20:28Speaker 4: Let it sink in.
- 20:28Speaker 8: Let him suffer a little bit, Let him understand what
- 20:30Speaker 8: it feels like to be a Freo fan.
- 20:32Speaker 4: Broken, disappointed, devid.
- 20:36Speaker 10: My peers was great.
- 20:37Speaker 4: You live in your laugh, your love and your live.
- 20:41Speaker 13: I misspathy, upset, I shoud a tear in the cubicle tonight.
- 20:47Speaker 14: Oh Freo, when are you going to rack up?
- 20:50Speaker 4: We better not see a sun in the sky tomorrow.
- 20:53Speaker 5: They should have wound back the clock for that last
- 20:55Speaker 5: minute and a half, right, but the clock kept going
- 20:59Speaker 5: so read about that year.
- 21:01Speaker 3: So you blood Gold Coast, well done.
- 21:04Speaker 4: But it's always next year, next year, next this time
- 21:08Speaker 4: it is actually next year.
- 21:09Speaker 1: What this is the thirteen year we being members. It'll
- 21:13Speaker 1: be another thirteen years.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Will still support for you, We love for you.
- 21:17Speaker 13: Thirty years of pain, but we will keep the tradition
- 21:20Speaker 13: going for you.
- 21:21Speaker 4: Next year.
- 21:22Speaker 14: Next year is a long time for you.
- 21:26Speaker 3: But you're watching the Reader Paney Show, and it's time
- 21:42Speaker 3: for Lefties are losing it, and I regret to inform
- 21:45Speaker 3: you that the weapon grade crazy is extra toxic this
- 21:48Speaker 3: week because two deranged individuals have come together to spew
- 21:52Speaker 3: insane lies.
- 21:53Speaker 4: It's Lefty losing it.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Hall of Famer Rose o'donald and formercy and in chief
- 21:58Speaker 3: White House correspondent Jim Costa that are now reduced to this.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Let's start with mad Banshie Rosie's crazy claims about who
- 22:07Speaker 3: else but Donald Trump?
- 22:10Speaker 5: He paid a billion dollars to Jeffrey Epstein over the
- 22:14Speaker 5: time of their friendship. A billion dollars, you know, before
- 22:17Speaker 5: he brings more troops into Chicago and harasses brown skinned people,
- 22:22Speaker 5: before he breaks more of the constitution apart, before he
- 22:27Speaker 5: starts having people get killed. We have to do something, America.
- 22:33Speaker 7: And it's agreed.
- 22:35Speaker 4: He agrees, Jim Acosta agrees. What is she suggesting? Their
- 22:40Speaker 4: GM more acts.
- 22:41Speaker 3: Of violence, more riots, more assassination attempts. And let's not
- 22:45Speaker 3: forget Jim Acosta served as CNN's chief White House correspondent
- 22:50Speaker 3: for years, but even he flinches here when Rosie calls
- 22:54Speaker 3: the US President a pedophile.
- 22:57Speaker 4: This is incredible, and Rosie, I hope.
- 23:00Speaker 3: For your sake, Donald Trump doesn't sue you for this slander,
- 23:04Speaker 3: though you richly deserve it.
- 23:08Speaker 4: Wake up, wake up.
- 23:11Speaker 5: Our president is a serial pedophile, raapist, and that's what
- 23:15Speaker 5: he is. And in America, you're allowed to have an opinion.
- 23:19Speaker 5: You're allowed to say what you think. That's what our
- 23:22Speaker 5: country was founded on.
- 23:25Speaker 3: Oh, dear Rosie, you are entitled to an opinion, but
- 23:28Speaker 3: you're not entitled to spell your sik delusional fantasies.
- 23:32Speaker 4: When they involve defamation, there are.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Legal remedies for that. Now to a currency in an anchor.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Abby Phillips, who is schooled here about social Security by
- 23:43Speaker 3: Ben Shapiro. This is embarrassing when you're talking about hold on,
- 23:47Speaker 3: when you're talking about the government pain, you're talking about
- 23:49Speaker 3: Social Security, which is people's money.
- 23:50Speaker 15: Well it is, Well, it's not the money you made.
- 23:52Speaker 4: It's a system that they pay in. Well, yes, believe me,
- 24:00Speaker 4: social Security.
- 24:00Speaker 15: I don't know about promise you the amount, the amount
- 24:02Speaker 15: that people are taking out is not the amount that
- 24:04Speaker 15: is going in, which is why we're going bankrupt.
- 24:05Speaker 13: Okay, but it's not the government just heading out a
- 24:08Speaker 13: blank check.
- 24:09Speaker 4: No, it's gonna borrowing money to pay.
- 24:11Speaker 15: Well, you pay in x dollars and then you get
- 24:13Speaker 15: multiple times X dollars when you retire. That is how
- 24:16Speaker 15: the system works. It is not a lock box.
- 24:18Speaker 3: Now to another form of CNN anchor who is now
- 24:21Speaker 3: producing their own online content.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Don Lemon here is with.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Democrat Beta boy Harry Cisson, and they're coming to save democracy.
- 24:32Speaker 4: Door saking my voices in your hair.
- 24:36Speaker 10: You look.
- 24:39Speaker 3: While we're on Don Lemon, did he put his foot
- 24:42Speaker 3: in it? With Democrat Sarah McBride, who is a man
- 24:46Speaker 3: who identifies as a woman.
- 24:49Speaker 14: This is my carum heading back to Delaware.
- 24:51Speaker 4: It is dude, do you have an hemion here?
- 24:53Speaker 11: What is it?
- 24:55Speaker 14: This is a beautiful Chevy.
- 24:59Speaker 4: You got a clause it back there?
- 25:03Speaker 3: Dude, Oh that's a misgender if I ever heard one.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Straight to re education camp for you, Don and sticking
- 25:10Speaker 3: with Don, he is out there trying to say democracy,
- 25:13Speaker 3: he calls it trying to whip up fear about Trump's
- 25:16Speaker 3: law and.
- 25:17Speaker 4: Auto crack down.
- 25:18Speaker 3: But here a Maryland woman explains what happened to her
- 25:22Speaker 3: family because of the lawlessness that's happening in big cities.
- 25:27Speaker 13: My husband was murdered two years ago and nothing was
- 25:30Speaker 13: ever done.
- 25:31Speaker 4: Murderware at home right out in front of her house.
- 25:35Speaker 13: Sorry, it was a carjacking gone wrong and they shot
- 25:38Speaker 13: him in his head, killed him instantly. So but again,
- 25:43Speaker 13: our lovely mayor didn't do nothing.
- 25:46Speaker 7: Did they ever find the perpetrator?
- 25:48Speaker 3: Nope?
- 25:50Speaker 4: So you want to see it, Yes, I'm on justice.
- 25:53Speaker 2: You want justice and you want to see you would
- 25:55Speaker 2: like to see the troops here in.
- 25:56Speaker 14: The national Yeah, thank you very much.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Poor Don is not having much luck on the street here.
- 26:03Speaker 4: He is in New York City.
- 26:05Speaker 1: How you doing, sir?
- 26:07Speaker 7: Can we talk to you where you're from?
- 26:09Speaker 3: You live in New York?
- 26:10Speaker 10: You don lemon?
- 26:11Speaker 3: You're due?
- 26:12Speaker 4: Thank you?
- 26:13Speaker 10: So are you? Ye? Except you've never heard anything I've
- 26:17Speaker 10: had to say, and I've heard a whole bunch of what.
- 26:19Speaker 2: You I'm glad you watched me.
- 26:21Speaker 4: No, I don't why, but you just get clipped everywhere
- 26:24Speaker 4: I know?
- 26:24Speaker 8: But why don't you?
- 26:25Speaker 7: You said you don't watch me, but you yet you
- 26:27Speaker 7: know who I am?
- 26:28Speaker 10: And I before I realized ANN and MSNBC before every.
- 26:32Speaker 4: Once in a while, like what are you watching? I
- 26:35Speaker 4: watch all sorts of stuff, But why do you say
- 26:37Speaker 4: CNN and MSNBC at fullish about what specific? What's everything?
- 26:43Speaker 1: Everything?
- 26:43Speaker 10: Now?
- 26:43Speaker 3: Donald Trump was back in New York for the US
- 26:46Speaker 3: Open in New York City, the bluest of cities, in
- 26:48Speaker 3: a blue stage, and yet he got a better reception
- 26:51Speaker 3: than Joe Biden and Kamala Harris get at sporting events.
- 27:01Speaker 10: That are flag was still see.
- 27:12Speaker 3: And here is the President arriving at the men's final
- 27:15Speaker 3: and being greeted with loud cheers.
- 27:18Speaker 4: You may be shocked by that if you read.
- 27:19Speaker 3: The media headlines about all the booing and chaos. Then
- 27:34Speaker 3: the President signed some hats for fans.
- 27:37Speaker 4: Again, this is New York City, That's what's shocking about this.
- 27:40Speaker 3: And as Pontus walk through the crowd, chance of USA
- 27:44Speaker 3: went up. Funny how that really doesn't seem to happen
- 27:47Speaker 3: too much with Democrat leaders. As for the man would
- 28:00Speaker 3: go on to be crowned US Open champion, Carlos Alcarez,
- 28:04Speaker 3: he said, it would be a privilege for the US
- 28:07Speaker 3: Open to have the President attend.
- 28:09Speaker 12: For me playing in front of him. So to be honest,
- 28:14Speaker 12: I will try not to be focused and I will
- 28:18Speaker 12: try not to think about it. I don't I don't
- 28:20Speaker 12: want myself to be nervous because of it. So but
- 28:24Speaker 12: I think, uh, you know, attending the tennis match. I
- 28:27Speaker 12: think it is great for tennis to have the president
- 28:32Speaker 12: into into the final.
- 28:33Speaker 4: Joining me. Now is Newsweek Senior or at large?
- 28:36Speaker 3: And article three projects send your council, Josh Hammer. Josh again,
- 28:40Speaker 3: we say a big difference between the media narrative and reality.
- 28:47Speaker 14: Yeah, reader, the crazy thing is, I actually watched this
- 28:50Speaker 14: entire test patch. I'm actually a lifelong, big, big tennis fan.
- 28:53Speaker 14: Once upon a time back in the day, I actually
- 28:55Speaker 14: interned for the US Tennis Association and worked at the
- 28:59Speaker 14: two thousand and nine US of myself, So I am
- 29:01Speaker 14: a longtime big fan of sport. I watched this entire
- 29:03Speaker 14: match between Carlos Alkhoriz and Yanix Center, from the game
- 29:06Speaker 14: to end, and I was struck. I was struck, reader that,
- 29:08Speaker 14: at least here in the United States, so ABC, the
- 29:11Speaker 14: parent company of ESPN, was televising this, they did not
- 29:14Speaker 14: show Donald Trump a single time during the match. They
- 29:18Speaker 14: showed him in the pre match singing of the national anthem,
- 29:21Speaker 14: and then they showed him again after the match was over.
- 29:24Speaker 14: They showed him applauding Alcaraz who defeated Center in four sets.
- 29:27Speaker 14: They literally not a single time showed him, which is
- 29:30Speaker 14: crazy because they were showing all the other celebrities there.
- 29:32Speaker 14: There was Bruce Springsteen, there was Steph Curry, the NBA player, there,
- 29:36Speaker 14: there was Ben Stiller, the act credible and it's a
- 29:38Speaker 14: very star star tournament. They never showed the president. The
- 29:41Speaker 14: most important man in the world is sitting right there
- 29:44Speaker 14: by the way flank by Steve Whitcock and BONDI other
- 29:47Speaker 14: pretty important people. They didn't show him a single time there. So,
- 29:50Speaker 14: I mean, you know, if you didn't know any better,
- 29:52Speaker 14: if you were't on social media, if you were looking
- 29:54Speaker 14: in the comments section, so to speak, you would have
- 29:56Speaker 14: thought that it was a total nothing burger that this guy,
- 29:59Speaker 14: you know, Donnie Queen shows up there. You know, he
- 30:02Speaker 14: the camera shows him once there. It's totally crazy stuff.
- 30:05Speaker 14: But the reality is he is very popular in New
- 30:08Speaker 14: York State right now. Donald Trump is a native son,
- 30:11Speaker 14: not just a New York City, but of the Borough
- 30:13Speaker 14: Queens where the US Open actually is held there. And
- 30:15Speaker 14: this is Donald Trump's appeal is that again he's the
- 30:18Speaker 14: fifth Avenue, blue collar billionaire. He's the guy who will
- 30:21Speaker 14: roll in here and he's going to have a very
- 30:24Speaker 14: nice suit there. He's gonna look professional there but the
- 30:26Speaker 14: working man resonates him in a way that no president
- 30:29Speaker 14: really up until this time, I think in American history
- 30:30Speaker 14: has read it. That was very much on display. I'm
- 30:33Speaker 14: not going to predive that New York State is going
- 30:34Speaker 14: to go red anytime soon or anything of that, when
- 30:36Speaker 14: I am saying that Donald Trump's a very, very different
- 30:39Speaker 14: kind of Republican. We saw that yet again in the
- 30:42Speaker 14: US Open on Sunday.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Josh, I can tell you the coverage here in Australia
- 30:46Speaker 3: is uniformly that there was booing and.
- 30:49Speaker 4: Chaos at the US Open.
- 30:51Speaker 3: It is frustrating to see any coverage of Trump or
- 30:55Speaker 3: US politics in this country and many others is pretty poor.
- 30:59Speaker 3: But surprise, Donald Trump himself thinks the media is improving.
- 31:03Speaker 3: Except for that bit of fake news they spread recently.
- 31:07Speaker 10: Well, say goodbye to the press, but it's an honor
- 31:10Speaker 10: to have you. And actually the press has been very
- 31:14Speaker 10: good lately, except for one rumor that they spread. I
- 31:16Speaker 10: did about eight press conferences in a real day after
- 31:19Speaker 10: day after day. Then I missed one because I was
- 31:22Speaker 10: in the Oval office. And I also went out to
- 31:25Speaker 10: a club because I had meetings at a club, and
- 31:28Speaker 10: they saw that I was a and the rumors started
- 31:31Speaker 10: spreading this horrible rumor that Trump is no longer with us.
- 31:37Speaker 3: But whatever goodwill was built with the media, it may
- 31:40Speaker 3: have been undone by this particularly stupid question from an
- 31:44Speaker 3: NBC reporter.
- 31:47Speaker 10: Take you say that, Darling, let's take news. I don't listen,
- 31:52Speaker 10: be quiet, listen. You don't listen. You never listen.
- 31:56Speaker 2: That's why you're second grade.
- 31:58Speaker 10: We're not going to war, going to clean up our city.
- 32:01Speaker 14: We're going to clean them.
- 32:02Speaker 2: Up so they don't kill five people every weekend.
- 32:05Speaker 10: That's not war, that's common sense.
- 32:08Speaker 3: There you go, second second rate reporter asking a silly question.
- 32:12Speaker 3: But on the broader topic, Josh going into Chicago, what's
- 32:17Speaker 3: that going to look like? Is it going to be
- 32:20Speaker 3: welcomed by locals? Because against Chicago, bluest of blue cities,
- 32:24Speaker 3: has been under Democrat rule for decades.
- 32:28Speaker 14: Read you want to talk about a war zone the
- 32:30Speaker 14: United States, Let's talk about the city of Chicago. I
- 32:32Speaker 14: called Chicago home for three years. I went to law
- 32:34Speaker 14: school in Chicago. I went to University of Chicago, which
- 32:37Speaker 14: is actually on the south side of Chicago. It's in
- 32:39Speaker 14: the neighborhood of Hyde Park, which is relatively kind of
- 32:43Speaker 14: sort of okay, But if you step one foot outside
- 32:46Speaker 14: of Hyde Park, where I lived for multiple years, you
- 32:50Speaker 14: are essentially in an urban war zone. It is absolutely horrific.
- 32:54Speaker 14: The murder rate in Chicago last I check, was around
- 32:57Speaker 14: twenty two and a half per one hundred thousand people.
- 32:59Speaker 14: There is four to five times the murder rate of
- 33:02Speaker 14: New York City, and New York City has actually gone
- 33:04Speaker 14: tremendously downhill since Rudy Giuliani and Michael Bloomberg left. You know,
- 33:08Speaker 14: given build a Blasio and I mean Eric, I'm king
- 33:11Speaker 14: up a little bit there. But look to the point
- 33:13Speaker 14: is that Chicago is is literally as bad as it gain.
- 33:15Speaker 14: So Donald Trump is a massive, massive, massive order on
- 33:18Speaker 14: his hands. If he actually is dedicated to try to
- 33:20Speaker 14: turn things around there, I think you should do so.
- 33:22Speaker 14: I think that is worth it because Chicago is actually
- 33:24Speaker 14: a beautiful American city, is iconic American city. There's so
- 33:27Speaker 14: much rich history there, there is beautiful architecture, there's incredible
- 33:31Speaker 14: culture that people are charming in westerns. There is a
- 33:34Speaker 14: lot I think that is worth saving about the city
- 33:36Speaker 14: of Chicago. And the number one thing Rita that I
- 33:38Speaker 14: think is worth noting on this topic that The people
- 33:41Speaker 14: who most want Donald Trump to do this are Chicago
- 33:44Speaker 14: wins themselves. Do not believe you're lying eyes. The media
- 33:47Speaker 14: is saying, oh my god. The people are saying, don't
- 33:49Speaker 14: come in. Here are Feds there. You know, we trust
- 33:51Speaker 14: Chicago police farum. Really, you trust the Chicago Police parm
- 33:54Speaker 14: one of the most infamously corrupt police departments, corrupted incompetent
- 33:58Speaker 14: police parments in the entire country. You don't want the
- 34:00Speaker 14: fens to come in there. If you actually go in
- 34:02Speaker 14: on a hot microphone, if you can't do these men
- 34:04Speaker 14: on three interviews in Anglewood, in various other South side
- 34:07Speaker 14: Chicago towns, I guarant freaking tee you, I guarantee you
- 34:11Speaker 14: they will be clamoring from the top of their bons
- 34:14Speaker 14: to get any help by all being necessary period fall,
- 34:17Speaker 14: stop and destory there. So Donald Trump is actually doing
- 34:19Speaker 14: something that I think will be very favorable in the
- 34:21Speaker 14: eyes of Chicago ands. I think Chicago is a world
- 34:23Speaker 14: class city that should be made great again. I think
- 34:25Speaker 14: that Donald Trump is unaswad of doing exactly that.
- 34:30Speaker 3: Now to one of the most shocking stories of the year,
- 34:33Speaker 3: this horrific murder was caught on camera.
- 34:36Speaker 4: The brutality.
- 34:37Speaker 3: The depravity of it is beyond anything I can adequately describe.
- 34:42Speaker 3: We will not show the full footage, not even blurred,
- 34:45Speaker 3: but just watching the lead up to this senseless crime
- 34:49Speaker 3: is chilling.
- 34:50Speaker 4: Here you'll see a.
- 34:52Speaker 3: Young woman, a Ukrainian woman try who her name is Irena,
- 34:56Speaker 3: and she boards a train in North Carolina. She is
- 34:59Speaker 3: on her phone and has AirPods in is minding her
- 35:02Speaker 3: own business, and there is no interaction with her murderer,
- 35:07Speaker 3: who slowly pulls out a knife and then launches a
- 35:11Speaker 3: vicious attack, leaving her bleeding to death as he walks away. Josh.
- 35:17Speaker 3: The lack of media coverage of this incident, the fact
- 35:21Speaker 3: that this murderer was released over and over again after
- 35:25Speaker 3: violent incidents, the whole thing is just so sickening.
- 35:31Speaker 14: I hate, I hate to say it, but you know,
- 35:33Speaker 14: I mean, the video speaks for itself. You know, this
- 35:35Speaker 14: is a This is a black person who is murdering
- 35:37Speaker 14: a blonde woman here, and that is not the kind
- 35:39Speaker 14: of story here in American media that the media is
- 35:41Speaker 14: typically going to cover it very quickly. I'm sorry to
- 35:43Speaker 14: just be so blunted to say it like it is,
- 35:45Speaker 14: but that is just the tragic reality. I guarantee you
- 35:48Speaker 14: that if the roles were reversed here, and if this
- 35:51Speaker 14: was a white person who was stabbing a young black
- 35:54Speaker 14: girl to death there, that the media would be all
- 35:56Speaker 14: over this. They would literally never let this story go.
- 35:59Speaker 14: I mean, this is of just the Dei ideology out
- 36:02Speaker 14: of work. I mean, this is kind of just the
- 36:03Speaker 14: Neo Marxism of oppressed levels of people who are oppressed,
- 36:07Speaker 14: people who are oppressors there, and if you take that
- 36:09Speaker 14: logic to its logical conclusion, then you will actually find
- 36:13Speaker 14: people who are ultimately trying to make justifications for violence.
- 36:16Speaker 14: You know, I don't spend a whole lot of time
- 36:18Speaker 14: on Blue Sky, which is kind of where a lot
- 36:20Speaker 14: of left people went after Elon Musk bought Twitter slash x.
- 36:24Speaker 14: But I've spent the little time on Blue Skys. Actually,
- 36:26Speaker 14: I actually do value trying to understand where my political
- 36:29Speaker 14: opponents are coming from.
- 36:30Speaker 11: There.
- 36:30Speaker 14: There is an astonishing amount of violence rhetoric and outright
- 36:34Speaker 14: explicit calls for political violence on Blue Sky, and generally
- 36:38Speaker 14: speaking there the left is in a very very very
- 36:40Speaker 14: dark place in this country. There again, it makes me
- 36:44Speaker 14: frankly very nervous. Anyways, I am not happy to report
- 36:47Speaker 14: these news there.
- 36:48Speaker 15: But I think.
- 36:48Speaker 14: That that is kind of something going on here. When
- 36:50Speaker 14: it comes to the lack of media coverage as well,
- 36:52Speaker 14: I think a lot of it is just the races
- 36:53Speaker 14: the DEI ideology I work there, But there's this kind
- 36:57Speaker 14: of bloodlust for violence and certain very extreme corners. And
- 37:00Speaker 14: if we know anything about left wing media in the
- 37:02Speaker 14: United States, and I assume Australia and various other First
- 37:05Speaker 14: world countries as well, we know that that the left
- 37:07Speaker 14: wing media frankly is disupportunately filled with these farl up
- 37:10Speaker 14: people that are exposed to all sorts of violent radic there.
- 37:13Speaker 14: So it's a horrific, horrific, horrible, horrible, horrible story there.
- 37:16Speaker 14: But tragically, Rita, I'm not exactly surprised at the lack
- 37:19Speaker 14: of media coveragure.
- 37:23Speaker 3: Now, there was an incident at a ball game in Miami,
- 37:27Speaker 3: an incident that quickly went viral around the world, and
- 37:32Speaker 3: there's a lot of feeling about what happened here. You've
- 37:35Speaker 3: got a dad retrieving a home run ball, he proudly
- 37:39Speaker 3: gives it to his son, and then he gets berated
- 37:43Speaker 3: by a woman who felt the ball belonged to her
- 37:46Speaker 3: because it landed closer to her. I have a look
- 37:48Speaker 3: at this interaction, and yep, he gave the ball back.
- 38:03Speaker 3: Let's have a look at a different angle and see
- 38:06Speaker 3: what was actually said during that interaction by Josh, what
- 38:28Speaker 3: are your feelings about that entire catastrophe?
- 38:32Speaker 4: The woman was awful, that's a given.
- 38:36Speaker 3: But should the dad have given that ball back about
- 38:40Speaker 3: to a bully.
- 38:41Speaker 4: In front of his son? To me, that was also terrible.
- 38:46Speaker 14: No, it's excuseble, it's absolutely inexcuseble there. I mean, you're
- 38:49Speaker 14: trying to say example for your slain Look, I mean
- 38:51Speaker 14: read it. We have a nine month old baby girl here.
- 38:53Speaker 14: I mean, you know, these thoughts and feelings are trying
- 38:55Speaker 14: to be a role model for a child are kind
- 38:57Speaker 14: of fairly new in my young adult life. What I
- 39:00Speaker 14: can tell you is that myself, when I was younger,
- 39:04Speaker 14: my family growing up in New York State, we had
- 39:06Speaker 14: partial season tickets to the old Yankee Stadium, the New
- 39:09Speaker 14: York Yankees there, and I remember actually when foul balls
- 39:12Speaker 14: would come close to her family seats. You know, my father,
- 39:14Speaker 14: you know, really trying to kind of get in there
- 39:16Speaker 14: and try to fight for the ball to give to
- 39:17Speaker 14: my brother, and I a souper in the air. It's
- 39:19Speaker 14: very much kind of an American write a passage, you know,
- 39:21Speaker 14: this notion of trying to catch a foul ball, give
- 39:23Speaker 14: it to the kid, the kids grinning, ernic here, raise
- 39:26Speaker 14: it up, gets on TV. It's kind of like a
- 39:29Speaker 14: culturally viral moment here. So for this father to to
- 39:33Speaker 14: at first succeed and to get the ball and then
- 39:36Speaker 14: just bowed down to this, to this reprehensible you know,
- 39:39Speaker 14: presumably kind of just you know, radically far left woke bully,
- 39:43Speaker 14: I mean, just awful. And look, I mean she.
- 39:46Speaker 3: Votes, Josh, you know how she writes.
- 39:50Speaker 4: You don't even have to know. I can just.
- 39:53Speaker 3: Tell by the glasses, the haircut, the attitude, and what
- 39:57Speaker 3: we saw there. I would better house, I know how
- 40:00Speaker 3: she voted.
- 40:02Speaker 14: I would do the exact same thing there. But look,
- 40:05Speaker 14: not a good look for his father whatsoever there. Hopefully
- 40:07Speaker 14: he learned some good lessons going forward, and hopefully that
- 40:10Speaker 14: young baseball fan, that young Philadelhia Phillies fan, will get
- 40:12Speaker 14: a foul ball souvenir soon around the letter, whether it
- 40:15Speaker 14: comes from his father or from someone else.
- 40:18Speaker 3: Well, I think the Marlins, it could have even been
- 40:22Speaker 3: the team he was supporting. They did give him a
- 40:25Speaker 3: big gift pack, and they kind of tried to make
- 40:27Speaker 3: up for that incident and have him leaving the game
- 40:31Speaker 3: with a positive experience. But yeah, we're on the same page.
- 40:34Speaker 3: I thought we might have a fight about that one,
- 40:36Speaker 3: because a lot of people were defending the father, saying, well,
- 40:40Speaker 3: he was obviously so taking aback and you know you're
- 40:43Speaker 3: not going to win if you don't give the ball
- 40:46Speaker 3: back to a woman who's very much aggrieved. But yeah,
- 40:49Speaker 3: I think that was giving into a bully. Not a
- 40:52Speaker 3: good move. Josh Amman, thank you so much for your time.
- 40:55Speaker 3: Tonight still to come. While Meghan Markle is being compared
- 40:59Speaker 3: to Harris, Kinsey's Schofield is.
- 41:02Speaker 4: Up next Welcome back.
- 41:14Speaker 3: Joining me now is celebrity and role commentator Kinsey's Schofield Kinsey.
- 41:19Speaker 4: Let's start with Megan Markle.
- 41:20Speaker 3: She's been widely mocked after she's seemingly channeled Kamara Harris
- 41:25Speaker 3: in her latest interview, using phrases like when you anchor
- 41:30Speaker 3: yourself in your knowing and all sorts of other terms
- 41:35Speaker 3: that most normal people do not use.
- 41:37Speaker 9: Have a listen, and I just think there really is
- 41:40Speaker 9: a lot of value to when you anchor into your
- 41:44Speaker 9: own knowing. Then you're telling your own story. You're telling
- 41:48Speaker 9: your own story and how you show up in the
- 41:49Speaker 9: world what you do. You actually don't need to say anything.
- 41:52Speaker 9: You can show who you are.
- 41:55Speaker 3: Kinsey, Do you often just anchor into your own knowing
- 41:59Speaker 3: just to know yourself a little bit better?
- 42:03Speaker 7: Absolutely not. I mean she sounds like she's anchoring her
- 42:07Speaker 7: own excrement with whatever that was. Obviously Meghan is insufferable here,
- 42:11Speaker 7: But nothing annoys me more than the legacy media that
- 42:15Speaker 7: gives this false profit a platform to grift. Not only
- 42:19Speaker 7: did Meghan refuse to give Bloomberg units sold or revenue intel,
- 42:24Speaker 7: she lies without being fact checked. She didn't have to
- 42:27Speaker 7: wear pantyhose while she was a working member of the
- 42:29Speaker 7: royal family. And if this exercise was so suffocating, then
- 42:33Speaker 7: why did she acts lyrically on her own podcast about
- 42:36Speaker 7: Sarah Blakeley, founder of Spax, one of America's leading pantyhose companies.
- 42:44Speaker 4: Good point.
- 42:44Speaker 3: I mean, your life is going pretty well if the
- 42:48Speaker 3: biggest grievance you have is having to wear pantyhose for
- 42:52Speaker 3: a few hours on.
- 42:53Speaker 4: A couple of occasions.
- 42:54Speaker 3: I mean, really, I mean to even mention that as something.
- 42:58Speaker 4: That you're aggrieved about is prety pathetic.
- 43:01Speaker 3: Now, Prince Harry is said to visit the UK on
- 43:03Speaker 3: a solo trip. This way, he is not bringing Meghan
- 43:06Speaker 3: and the kids with him, but he has said that
- 43:09Speaker 3: he wants to make more frequent trips to the UK
- 43:13Speaker 3: with the family. Any indication of whether he'll see his father,
- 43:17Speaker 3: King Charles during this latest trip.
- 43:21Speaker 7: It's my understanding that Harry is still receiving radio silence
- 43:24Speaker 7: when it comes to the palace, but this is just
- 43:27Speaker 7: more propaganda coming from Team Sussex. Prince Harry can return
- 43:31Speaker 7: to the UK whenever he chooses. His family has even
- 43:35Speaker 7: offered him the security of Buckingham Palace to stay at
- 43:38Speaker 7: if he wants to feel safe, which he declined. In
- 43:41Speaker 7: most cases, he's provided with the level of protection he
- 43:44Speaker 7: asks four nine times out of ten. I'd bet the
- 43:47Speaker 7: real sticking point seems to be control. He dislikes having
- 43:51Speaker 7: to give Rabbit twenty eight days notice and share his
- 43:54Speaker 7: itinerary so they can assess the appropriate security detail. If
- 43:58Speaker 7: he follows that protocol and credible threats exist, protection is extended,
- 44:03Speaker 7: and of course they're going to protect Megan and his
- 44:06Speaker 7: children as well. That's why it feels less like a
- 44:09Speaker 7: genuine safety concern and more like a convenient excuse to
- 44:14Speaker 7: gain public sympathy. Ultimately, these are the natural consequences of
- 44:18Speaker 7: his own actions.
- 44:22Speaker 3: Now, Prince William has jerked about getting drunk with actor
- 44:25Speaker 3: Eugene Levy during a surprise cameo in the trial for
- 44:29Speaker 3: the actor's upcoming travel show The Reluctant Traveler.
- 44:32Speaker 4: Let's have a look, Please.
- 44:34Speaker 5: Welcome our own national treasure.
- 44:38Speaker 9: Mister Eugene plan.
- 44:42Speaker 4: Was getting drunk with Prince William on your bucalist.
- 44:45Speaker 7: That's the bucket.
- 44:47Speaker 4: N See.
- 44:48Speaker 3: Why is this such a surprise?
- 44:51Speaker 7: I well, I'll tell you why. It's a surprise to me,
- 44:53Speaker 7: but maybe not others. Mike Tendall, who's married to Prince
- 44:56Speaker 7: William's cousin Zara, once nicknamed Prince William one pint Willie
- 45:01Speaker 7: on a BBC podcast because he can't really handle his linker.
- 45:05Speaker 7: William later admitted that the nickname was real and even
- 45:07Speaker 7: joked that might apologize for letting it slip in public.
- 45:10Speaker 7: So that's why I get a kick out of this,
- 45:12Speaker 7: because I'm like, what does that consist of? One beverage?
- 45:15Speaker 7: But it's also just fun to see how animated and
- 45:19Speaker 7: silly Prince William can be. I think if you are
- 45:22Speaker 7: following the drama, you might think that he's a very stern,
- 45:25Speaker 7: unhappy person, but it turns out he's got a great
- 45:27Speaker 7: sense of humor, just like his mother, Princess Diana.
- 45:32Speaker 3: Now there's been an update to that Coldplay kiss cam coverage. Joe,
- 45:37Speaker 3: I saw that couple who shouldn't have been together.
- 45:40Speaker 7: What is the latest, Well, the latest is that the
- 45:46Speaker 7: female is getting a divorce, which I think we've all
- 45:50Speaker 7: just been Yes, we've all just kind of been patiently
- 45:55Speaker 7: waiting to see what was going to happen, if there
- 45:58Speaker 7: was going to be any real fallout of aside from
- 46:00Speaker 7: his wife deleting her Facebook page. I mean, every once
- 46:03Speaker 7: in a while a story like this hits the headlines
- 46:05Speaker 7: and you're reminded that actions again have consequences. These two
- 46:09Speaker 7: totally humiliated their partners, and you just sit back and say,
- 46:13Speaker 7: I hope their children are okay. I mean, yes, they're
- 46:16Speaker 7: significant others. I hope they're okay. But there were children
- 46:19Speaker 7: involved in this as well.
- 46:22Speaker 1: Well.
- 46:23Speaker 3: The company CEO and de Byron, the man in that footage,
- 46:27Speaker 3: he's stepped down She's stepped down from her fairly senior
- 46:31Speaker 3: role at the company as well, so there's been plenty
- 46:34Speaker 3: of consequences there.
- 46:35Speaker 4: Now pop star Britney Spears or former pop star, I
- 46:38Speaker 4: should say, she hasn't released anything for a while.
- 46:41Speaker 3: She's reportedly panicking about her ex husband Kevin fender Line's
- 46:46Speaker 3: upcoming tell all book, vowing to strike back if he
- 46:50Speaker 3: attempts to humiliate her. Kinsey, what can you tell me
- 46:53Speaker 3: about this? What is her ex husband likely to reveal?
- 46:58Speaker 2: Well?
- 46:58Speaker 7: I forget about the book itself. The real shop Kevin
- 47:00Speaker 7: Fetterline can read well enough to write a book allegedly,
- 47:04Speaker 7: I mean Spears and fetter Lines. I think this is
- 47:07Speaker 7: important that we consider Spears and Feederline's children are legal
- 47:10Speaker 7: adults now, so this monstrous child support check that she
- 47:14Speaker 7: was paying this guy religiously, those checks are over. Her
- 47:18Speaker 7: highest monthly child support payment to Vetterline was forty thousand
- 47:22Speaker 7: dollars a month at one point. Knowing how shameless this
- 47:26Speaker 7: guy is, I'm curious to see how well this book
- 47:28Speaker 7: actually sells. I'll read the headlines it generates, but I
- 47:32Speaker 7: would never voluntarily financially support this. In my opinion, total loser. Like,
- 47:37Speaker 7: I just think that this is a cruel thing to do.
- 47:40Speaker 7: This woman put him on the map.
- 47:45Speaker 4: Now talking about total losers. A couple who have had
- 47:49Speaker 4: a fall off.
- 47:51Speaker 3: Later, Will at Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith have
- 47:55Speaker 3: been spotted together for the first time in ten months.
- 47:59Speaker 3: They were grabbing a bar to eight at celebrity hotspot
- 48:02Speaker 3: Nobu in Malibu while the two of them have been
- 48:06Speaker 3: living separately. Kinsey, you don't go to Nobu in Malibu
- 48:09Speaker 3: unless you want to be packed.
- 48:12Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean, and do you remember the term entanglement?
- 48:15Speaker 7: Remember us having to suffer through the term entanglement when
- 48:19Speaker 7: Jada Pinkett Smith was talking about the affair she had
- 48:21Speaker 7: on Smith. These two are definitely looking for positive press.
- 48:26Speaker 7: You know, she had that book that totally bombed not
- 48:28Speaker 7: too long ago. We recently talked about Will Smith signing
- 48:32Speaker 7: a new movie deal. That isn't going to come to
- 48:34Speaker 7: fruition instantly. He released an album this year. They're desperate
- 48:38Speaker 7: for a comeback, and I understand they've got to make
- 48:41Speaker 7: money and I'm sure that they want to maintain their lifestyle,
- 48:44Speaker 7: But are we ready to forgive them. I'm not so sure.
- 48:49Speaker 3: Well, the ill Will towards this couple is enormous and
- 48:53Speaker 3: you can kind of understand it with well, it's some.
- 48:56Speaker 4: Of the stuff Jada Pinkett Smith has dad.
- 48:58Speaker 3: But with Will Smith really that one incident, it was
- 49:02Speaker 3: a big incident at the Oscars where he slapped Chris.
- 49:06Speaker 4: Rock for just making a joke. But he's full from grace.
- 49:11Speaker 3: I don't think I've seen anything like it in the
- 49:13Speaker 3: celebrity world for something that you would think wouldn't be
- 49:18Speaker 3: enough to destroy a career, but it pretty much has Kinsey.
- 49:22Speaker 7: I think it's because it was so it contradicted who
- 49:26Speaker 7: he was so completely. We thought that he was everyone's
- 49:29Speaker 7: best friend. We thought he was the happiest, you know, happy,
- 49:32Speaker 7: go lucky. And he's the same guy that refused to
- 49:36Speaker 7: curse in his music when that you know, cursing in
- 49:39Speaker 7: his music would have made him even cooler. He refused to,
- 49:42Speaker 7: so it was hard for us to digest. I think
- 49:44Speaker 7: we were incredibly disappointed.
- 49:48Speaker 3: Kinsey Schofield, thank you so much for your time tonight,
- 49:50Speaker 3: and that's all the time I have. I'll see you
- 49:53Speaker 3: at eleven tomorrow night. Up next it's Newsnight
- 50:00Speaker 13: Eight
