- 0:00Speaker 1: Fly from Midtown Manhattan. Here comes the Mark Simone Show
- 0:05Speaker 1: on SEVENR.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Hey, it's a Thursday. We got a lot to get to, big, big,
- 0:12Speaker 2: big deal in the peace deal in the Mideast. We'll
- 0:16Speaker 2: get to that, the Nobel Prize. We'll get to the Yankees,
- 0:19Speaker 2: We'll get to the stock market. We'll get to the
- 0:22Speaker 2: New Jersey debate. Last night, people think Mikey Cheryl has
- 0:27Speaker 2: seen some real trouble in the internal polls. She seemed
- 0:30Speaker 2: to change her tone and change a lot of stuff
- 0:32Speaker 2: for last night's debate. And the same thing for Cuomo.
- 0:36Speaker 2: He's getting desperate. There was a major shocking flip flop
- 0:41Speaker 2: from Cuomo. We'll get to that coming up. And well,
- 0:46Speaker 2: let's start with Israel the Middle East. The peace deal
- 0:49Speaker 2: looks like it's done. It looks like it'll get signed
- 0:54Speaker 2: over the weekend. President Trump planning to go to Egypt
- 0:57Speaker 2: to sign this bill.
- 0:59Speaker 3: I may go there sometime towards the end of the week,
- 1:04Speaker 3: maybe on Sunday actually, and we'll see. But there's a
- 1:09Speaker 3: very good chance to Negotiations are going along very well.
- 1:13Speaker 2: It looks like it's done. Hamas will release the hostages.
- 1:18Speaker 2: They'll start with the living hostages, believed to be about twenty.
- 1:22Speaker 2: They'll release them immediately. They'll release the remaining hostages, the
- 1:26Speaker 2: bodies of the other hostages. Israel's going to give up
- 1:29Speaker 2: something like nineteen hundred prisoners. All right, that's not great,
- 1:32Speaker 2: but you got to do that. The deal looks pretty good.
- 1:36Speaker 2: President Trump. Tomorrow's Friday, he goes to get his annual
- 1:39Speaker 2: physical Walter Reed Medical Center, and then after that is
- 1:43Speaker 2: expected to head to the Middle East Saturday or Sunday.
- 1:48Speaker 2: It's an amazing accomplishment. It's certainly worthy of a Nobel Prize.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Even in Gaza. Even in Gaza, they're cheering him on
- 1:55Speaker 2: the streets of Gaza and screaming Nobel Prize for Trump
- 2:00Speaker 2: can't get it because the Nobel Prize is a totally
- 2:02Speaker 2: corrupt award. It's the most slanted partisan, a left wing
- 2:07Speaker 2: liberal award. If you look at the list of who
- 2:10Speaker 2: was denied a Nobel Prize, it's amazing, from Gandhi to
- 2:14Speaker 2: all sorts of people. But if you go to the
- 2:16Speaker 2: Nobel Prize for literature, some of the greatest figures in
- 2:21Speaker 2: literature were denied the Nobel Prize, from Mark Twain to
- 2:23Speaker 2: Tolstoy to It's an endless list, and it was always
- 2:27Speaker 2: because they weren't they weren't liberal enough, they didn't like
- 2:30Speaker 2: their politics. It's the most political award in the world,
- 2:35Speaker 2: and the most fascinating thing about it is to this
- 2:38Speaker 2: day the Nobel Prize has this incredible reputation, totally undeserved.
- 2:44Speaker 2: It's just a wacky partisan award, yet they still have
- 2:48Speaker 2: this prestige the Nobel Prize. You know, the worst economist
- 2:54Speaker 2: in the history of the world was Paul Krugman the
- 2:56Speaker 2: New York Times, that bug eyed weirdo who got ever
- 3:00Speaker 2: everything wrong. Every prediction, forecast, everything he ever wrote turned
- 3:03Speaker 2: out to be totally wrong. He has the Nobel Prize
- 3:06Speaker 2: for economics. So you remember when they were trying to
- 3:09Speaker 2: go after Trump and they put out a letter from
- 3:12Speaker 2: this was signed by thirteen Nobel Prize winners. Well, right there,
- 3:16Speaker 2: you knew it was a slanted partisan the word. Yet somehow,
- 3:20Speaker 2: in a lot of people's minds, it has this prestigious reputation.
- 3:24Speaker 2: So the Nobel Prize comes out tomorrow. There's no chance
- 3:27Speaker 2: of Trump getting it because he's not left wing wacko. Also,
- 3:32Speaker 2: I would assume it's coming out tomorrow. This was decided
- 3:35Speaker 2: long ago. They're not picking the winner tonight. So it
- 3:38Speaker 2: comes out tonight and tomorrow will be the announcement. It
- 3:40Speaker 2: means absolutely nothing. It's the silliest towards but the Israel
- 3:44Speaker 2: Peace Deal unbelievable. And you know when you talk about
- 3:49Speaker 2: the art of the deal, and sometimes Democrats will say, well,
- 3:51Speaker 2: where's the great negotiator? Well, here it was, Here it was,
- 3:55Speaker 2: and there's nobody savvier at this stuff, and Benjamin NETANYAHUO had.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Somehow Trump got leverage over net and Yahoo and strategically
- 4:04Speaker 2: carefully over the last few weeks and months, somehow it
- 4:07Speaker 2: kind of boxed him in a little, so he went
- 4:09Speaker 2: along with this. Sometimes it's just luck in some of
- 4:12Speaker 2: these deals. But even Democrats looking at this privately, is
- 4:16Speaker 2: saying this was all skill, not luck. And a lot
- 4:19Speaker 2: of credit goes to Jared Kushner, normally useless when it
- 4:24Speaker 2: comes to the White House, but here, this is what
- 4:27Speaker 2: he was meant to do. This is where he excelled.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Steve Whitcoff the same, and Trump pointing out Mike Huckabee
- 4:32Speaker 2: was a big, big part of this process. Hu could
- 4:35Speaker 2: be the ambassador to Israel. You wouldn't think he would
- 4:39Speaker 2: be so Israel savvy, but he's spent a lot of
- 4:42Speaker 2: time there over the years. It's something that means a
- 4:46Speaker 2: lot to him. So he was great at this. So
- 4:48Speaker 2: that will that will happen most likely over the weekend hostages.
- 4:52Speaker 2: First release of the release of all the living hostages
- 4:55Speaker 2: expected on Monday. So you got this fat slob governor
- 5:00Speaker 2: of Illinois Pritzker, This Ralph Cramdon looking guy, huffing and puffing.
- 5:06Speaker 2: What it's all about? Really, he wants to be a
- 5:09Speaker 2: twenty twenty eight candidate. He has no shot at all
- 5:13Speaker 2: because he has no personality, nothing, nothing interesting about him.
- 5:18Speaker 2: He's kind of a troll like to look at. So
- 5:22Speaker 2: he's got no shot at all, especially against a Gavin
- 5:25Speaker 2: Newsom or other slick, smart candidates with personality. He's got
- 5:29Speaker 2: no shot at all. But he's trying to get there,
- 5:32Speaker 2: and he thinks by being the biggest Trump fighter in
- 5:34Speaker 2: the world. He's a little nutty when he gets into
- 5:36Speaker 2: Trump fighting. Remember the convention. He got up there and
- 5:40Speaker 2: he said he opened with and he got huge applause.
- 5:43Speaker 2: He said he's going to talk about Trump. He said,
- 5:46Speaker 2: time out of here from a real billionaire, and the
- 5:49Speaker 2: audience applauded, implying Trump's not a real billionaire. Well, at
- 5:53Speaker 2: the time, Pritzker worth about one billion, Trump worth about
- 5:56Speaker 2: seven billions. I don't know what the hell he's talking about.
- 5:59Speaker 2: And then here he is yesterday. But he just doesn't
- 6:02Speaker 2: want He wants to keep that crime in Chicago. There's
- 6:05Speaker 2: a lot of killing. It's a killing field. Thirty five
- 6:07Speaker 2: forty people shot every weekend in Chicago. He wants to
- 6:12Speaker 2: keep it that way. He's demented, literally unhinged.
- 6:16Speaker 4: And this is somebody who's so insecure that he lashes out,
- 6:20Speaker 4: pretending that he can come arrest people for no reason
- 6:23Speaker 4: at all.
- 6:24Speaker 5: He can't. He isn't going to do it. Taco Trump
- 6:27Speaker 5: always chickens out.
- 6:30Speaker 2: It's back to taco. I think I think that's kind
- 6:34Speaker 2: of been proven wrong. Now Pritzker keeps arguing, you cannot
- 6:38Speaker 2: send troops national Guard or military. You can't send troops
- 6:42Speaker 2: into an American city state. The federal government can never
- 6:46Speaker 2: do that. And if they do that, it's the worst
- 6:48Speaker 2: violation of the count it's the total end of democracy.
- 6:51Speaker 2: You cannot do that. Well, of course you can, and
- 6:55Speaker 2: it's been done before in riots in all sorts of
- 6:58Speaker 2: situations nineteen sixty seven, right, Johnson said, troops into cities
- 7:02Speaker 2: done all the time. I'll give you the best example
- 7:05Speaker 2: was John F. Kennedy. Back then it was horrible, horrible segregation,
- 7:11Speaker 2: and black students couldn't go to college in Mississippi and
- 7:14Speaker 2: Georgia and Atlanta. You remember of those governors, those awful governors,
- 7:17Speaker 2: Lester Maddocks and George Wallace and others who would stand
- 7:21Speaker 2: in the doorway of the school blocking it so black
- 7:25Speaker 2: kids couldn't attend college. Well, Kennedy sent troops in lots
- 7:29Speaker 2: and lots and lots of troops to integrate those colleges.
- 7:33Speaker 2: It was a big deal in nineteen sixty one, sixty two,
- 7:38Speaker 2: massive amounts of troops sent in. Now, of course it
- 7:40Speaker 2: was Kennedy. He's a Democrat, so there was nothing but applause.
- 7:43Speaker 2: And he was a hero. And these same Democrats told
- 7:46Speaker 2: you this is the most heroic, wonderful thing any president's
- 7:49Speaker 2: ever done. But now, if the president sends in troops,
- 7:52Speaker 2: it's the end of our democracy. It's a crime, it's
- 7:54Speaker 2: a but again, the incredible hypocrisy democrats are famous for.
- 8:01Speaker 2: So hey, they had that mayoral forum yesterday at the
- 8:07Speaker 2: New York Athletic Club, the beautiful, prestigious New York Athletic Club,
- 8:10Speaker 2: one of the city's finest private clubs, and it was private.
- 8:15Speaker 2: But we're starting to see some of the video and
- 8:16Speaker 2: we're starting to hear from some of the people that
- 8:18Speaker 2: weren't there. And it was all business leaders. All these
- 8:23Speaker 2: business leaders, a lot of them basically said, when it
- 8:27Speaker 2: came to mom Donnie, it was a lot of double talk.
- 8:29Speaker 2: It was dancing around the questions, skated through generalities. One
- 8:34Speaker 2: person said, went out of his way to slam President
- 8:39Speaker 2: Trump over and over again. Other attendees said, listen, he
- 8:42Speaker 2: had tremendous energy and youth, but nothing of substance. There
- 8:45Speaker 2: was no substance, and it didn't make us feel like
- 8:49Speaker 2: he could do the job. Curtis, they liked, They said
- 8:54Speaker 2: he In some cases there were surprise he had such
- 8:58Speaker 2: detailed knowledges of economic He's been working with great, great
- 9:02Speaker 2: economic team Larry Cudlow and others advising him. They said, yeah,
- 9:09Speaker 2: he was. There was a lot of clarity on how
- 9:12Speaker 2: he would deal with crime and all that. So they
- 9:15Speaker 2: like Curtis. Now when it comes to Cuomo, now, this
- 9:19Speaker 2: this crowd was a lot of Democrats, and it wasn't
- 9:22Speaker 2: so much what Cuomo was saying, but a number of
- 9:25Speaker 2: people in the crowd said they were quite surprised, quite shocked.
- 9:30Speaker 2: They hadn't seen him speak in person in a long
- 9:32Speaker 2: long time. They said, there was a little shocked. He
- 9:34Speaker 2: looked very old, he lacked energy. Here's one said, I
- 9:38Speaker 2: hadn't seen him in a while, and I was quite
- 9:39Speaker 2: disturbed by it. Another attendee found Cuomo living in the past,
- 9:45Speaker 2: seemed to be more focused on things in the past
- 9:47Speaker 2: than talking about the future. Other comments. Here's this Catherine Wilde,
- 9:52Speaker 2: she warns this business partnership. She's a real wacko. She's
- 9:55Speaker 2: praising a Zora and Mamdani. I rest my case, total
- 10:01Speaker 2: whacka Mamdonnie's positions have become more substantive and realistic. No
- 10:09Speaker 2: need to read the rest of her statement. She's a
- 10:11Speaker 2: nutty character.
- 10:12Speaker 5: Uh.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Andrew Cromo shocked everybody with a major flip flop years ago.
- 10:19Speaker 2: You remember about was it five six years ago? There
- 10:22Speaker 2: was this whole thing about closing Rikers Island. Rikers Island
- 10:26Speaker 2: is the big prison that's on an island. It's Rikers Island.
- 10:30Speaker 2: It's the perfect place for a prison. It's on an island.
- 10:34Speaker 2: You're gonna have a more secure location. And it's a
- 10:36Speaker 2: very big island. There's enormous space there. Rikers Island is
- 10:39Speaker 2: a number of buildings. You couldn't ask for a better
- 10:42Speaker 2: set up for a prison. Lots of buildings, there's room
- 10:44Speaker 2: to build more buildings, all sorts of stuff. All of
- 10:47Speaker 2: a sudden, there was a proposal to close down Rikers Island. Well,
- 10:52Speaker 2: what are you gonna do for a prison. Well, they'll
- 10:53Speaker 2: build five other prisons. They'll build one in each borough,
- 10:57Speaker 2: which didn't seem to make any sense. It would make
- 10:59Speaker 2: more sense they have one big central prison. And why
- 11:02Speaker 2: would you put a prison into each neighborhood in different boroughs.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Who in Queen's wants the prison in their neighborhood? Why
- 11:10Speaker 2: would anybody in the Bronx want a prison in their neighborhood.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Why would it? Was a ridiculous idea. Where did it
- 11:17Speaker 2: come from? By the way, Cuomo, this is what he
- 11:21Speaker 2: was talking about yesterday. He says, we got to stop
- 11:24Speaker 2: this plan to close Rikers Island. It's crazy to close
- 11:27Speaker 2: Rikers Island. It's wacko. Why would you do it? We
- 11:30Speaker 2: must stop this plan. Well, here's the problem. It was
- 11:33Speaker 2: his plan. He's the one that proposed it. He's the
- 11:37Speaker 2: one that started it. So a lot of people think
- 11:39Speaker 2: he saw some internal polling that was frightening him, that
- 11:44Speaker 2: he's got absolutely no shot with Democrats. Democrats just don't
- 11:48Speaker 2: like him. That's how he got wiped out in the primary.
- 11:51Speaker 2: So they think he's trying now to appeal to moderates, independents, Republicans.
- 11:56Speaker 2: But here's the guy who was the guy that came
- 11:59Speaker 2: up with this plan to close Rikers Island. Now he's
- 12:03Speaker 2: against it.
- 12:03Speaker 6: We should rebuild new State of the R jails on
- 12:07Speaker 6: Rikers Island, provide free bus service, and use those existing
- 12:13Speaker 6: sites for housing and commercial development.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody said that all along. You're the one that
- 12:18Speaker 2: wanted to close it.
- 12:19Speaker 6: Let's make a major start by stopping a major debacle,
- 12:24Speaker 6: which is the new jail construction to replace Rikers Island.
- 12:28Speaker 6: The writing is on the wall. It promises to be
- 12:31Speaker 6: New York City's Big Ditch. It is already years late,
- 12:36Speaker 6: big is over budget and obsolete.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Geeze talking about how horrible it is. It's his plan,
- 12:43Speaker 2: it was his idea, it's his plan. He's the one
- 12:45Speaker 2: that did it. It's an incredible flip flop. Now I
- 12:49Speaker 2: should point out there's another factor to this, because you say, well,
- 12:53Speaker 2: what if you got the big prison and you don't
- 12:55Speaker 2: need the other five, and it's on an island, no
- 12:57Speaker 2: place more secure, why would you ever want to close it?
- 13:01Speaker 2: Why would you ever want to move it? Well, a
- 13:03Speaker 2: lot of people think the real reason is there were
- 13:07Speaker 2: big developers that wanted that island. They wanted to build condos,
- 13:11Speaker 2: They want to put casinos. They had all kinds of plans,
- 13:15Speaker 2: and they were making massive donations to politicians to get
- 13:20Speaker 2: Rikers Island turned over to them because it's the only
- 13:24Speaker 2: major island around Manhattan that has a nice, big bridge.
- 13:28Speaker 2: You could drive right to it, you know, Governor's Island.
- 13:31Speaker 2: When they took the military base away. They tried to
- 13:33Speaker 2: sell Governor's Island to developers, condo's apartment but nobody wanted
- 13:38Speaker 2: it because you can't drive there, you'd have to take
- 13:40Speaker 2: a ferry. They tried to sell it to a casino
- 13:43Speaker 2: operators MGM Grand and others all turned it down. They
- 13:47Speaker 2: can't have high rollers taking a ferry. They wanted it
- 13:50Speaker 2: didn't have a bridge. Rikers Island the only island with
- 13:53Speaker 2: a bridge, and it's big, and it's kind of bridge.
- 13:55Speaker 2: So that's the real reason a lot of people think Cuomo,
- 13:58Speaker 2: Deblasio and the rest, we're all trying to come up
- 14:02Speaker 2: with this island to hand it over to developers. But big, big,
- 14:05Speaker 2: big flip flop for Cuomo. Here's Mom Donnie on all
- 14:08Speaker 2: of this.
- 14:09Speaker 7: Andrew Cuomo's proposal to take that which is broken, that
- 14:16Speaker 7: which is morally bankrupt, that which is a stain on
- 14:23Speaker 7: our city, and to keep it open. It's a betrayal
- 14:29Speaker 7: not only of the law as it stands today, but
- 14:32Speaker 7: also of what New Yorkers actually want.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Now you'll notice Mom Donnie, who was always a very
- 14:37Speaker 2: fast talker. Mom Donny always talked a mile a minute.
- 14:39Speaker 2: You notice Mom Donny is now talking slow. Now Cuomo
- 14:46Speaker 2: always does that, But Coloma's not that bright. Mom Donnie's
- 14:48Speaker 2: very sharp. Why is he's suddenly talking so slow. People
- 14:51Speaker 2: think he's getting very nervous in the last four weeks,
- 14:54Speaker 2: very worried about making a flub or saying the wrong thing.
- 14:56Speaker 2: He's being very careful when he speaks. It's New York City,
- 15:00Speaker 2: and New York City's famous for mayoral races where the
- 15:03Speaker 2: whole thing can turn around in the last four or
- 15:05Speaker 2: five weeks. It's happened before. Here's Curtis on all this.
- 15:08Speaker 4: In twenty nineteen, he has a press conference, we must
- 15:11Speaker 4: close riik As Island. Two weeks ago he once again
- 15:14Speaker 4: reiterated he should have been closed a long time ago.
- 15:17Speaker 4: Where would he have put the inmates back then? You
- 15:20Speaker 4: can't trust Cuomo. He's the flip flop guy.
- 15:24Speaker 2: He is quite a flip flopper, and you gotta give
- 15:27Speaker 2: him credit the gall of This guy got pathological hutz,
- 15:31Speaker 2: but a just flip flop on this thing. Anyway, we'll
- 15:34Speaker 2: get to the New Jersey governor's race. They had the
- 15:36Speaker 2: final debate last night. We got a lot to get
- 15:38Speaker 2: to coming up. We'll take some calls. Next eight hundred
- 15:42Speaker 2: three two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight
- 15:45Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Give WR a bre said on the iHeartRadio app to
- 15:53Speaker 1: hear Mark Simone and all the WR hosts in an instead.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simon show on.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Bob and
- 16:04Speaker 2: New Rochelle. Bob, how you doing, eh?
- 16:08Speaker 8: I think I'm putting into a cross or your old men.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Sorry to hear that.
- 16:12Speaker 8: Yeah, I got to take the Cross Bronx every morning
- 16:14Speaker 8: from New Rochelle and it's an absolute nightmare. I'm sure
- 16:16Speaker 8: you know. So people are the country who don't know
- 16:18Speaker 8: what the Cross Bronx is. It's stretching ninety five.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Where you're going, where you're going when you take the
- 16:22Speaker 2: Cross Bronx.
- 16:23Speaker 8: I gotta drive my wife to work. She fabricates metal
- 16:26Speaker 8: doors in the Bronx.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Why do you have to take the Cross Bronx. You
- 16:30Speaker 2: just go straight down.
- 16:31Speaker 8: It's greet down aware she's right off the Cross Bronx.
- 16:34Speaker 8: I follow Waves and it sends me that way all
- 16:36Speaker 8: the time.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Yeah, don't trust that waves. I don't trust that waves
- 16:39Speaker 2: at all. You know that Waves is a little corrupt.
- 16:41Speaker 2: They can get paid off by sponsors advertisers to have
- 16:44Speaker 2: you drive by their business or their billboard. Don't trust
- 16:47Speaker 2: that one.
- 16:47Speaker 8: They're sending me down ninety five every day, So I
- 16:49Speaker 8: don't know who' getting paid off there. But anyway, what
- 16:51Speaker 8: I'm calling for that is is how they let people
- 16:54Speaker 8: in the lanes handhandling. Don't I don't sound heartless. You know,
- 16:57Speaker 8: if you're down on your luck, down your uck, it
- 16:59Speaker 8: shouldn't be in a high way in the middle of
- 17:00Speaker 8: the lane.
- 17:01Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Well, actually, uh, they should make that an Olympic sport.
- 17:04Speaker 2: He's talking about on the Cross Bronx, which is a
- 17:06Speaker 2: major highway, there are these illegals standing right in the
- 17:09Speaker 2: middle of the highway, right in between the second and
- 17:11Speaker 2: third lane selling candy bars. And you're right, so much
- 17:15Speaker 2: taking for money. Yeah, but there's so much traffic on
- 17:17Speaker 2: the Cross Bronx. How did they get in there? To
- 17:20Speaker 2: get into that middle lane there, it's an amazing thing slow.
- 17:23Speaker 8: Everybody's moving at two or three miles an hour. They
- 17:25Speaker 8: just probably walked between the cars.
- 17:27Speaker 2: It's still an amazing feat to whatch You're right, it's
- 17:29Speaker 2: totally out of control there that Crossbronx. A good point.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Thanks for calling. Let's go to Dave in Chicago. Dave,
- 17:35Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 17:37Speaker 10: Good morning, Mark. I'm doing very well. Thank you.
- 17:40Speaker 5: Mark.
- 17:40Speaker 10: I got home very late last night, about one o'clock
- 17:43Speaker 10: in the morning, and I turned on Larry cud Low
- 17:45Speaker 10: and I saw you and Joe Kanca. What I'm a
- 17:49Speaker 10: little unclear about. I thought the discussion. I thought the
- 17:53Speaker 10: discussion was about Governor Campy Hochel. Is he dropping in
- 17:57Speaker 10: the polls due to her indoors see Mondamie to a
- 18:01Speaker 10: least what's sean, Yes.
- 18:03Speaker 2: She took a drop over her mom Donnie.
- 18:05Speaker 5: Endorsement and this continues.
- 18:10Speaker 10: Does it look like Kathy Hukle will absolutely lose because
- 18:14Speaker 10: it took her a long time to endorse Mondana.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Yes, it looks like Kathy Hockel's in big, big trouble.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Thanks Dave, because, as I pointed out on the Larry
- 18:23Speaker 2: Cudlow yesterday, if she's five points ahead in those public
- 18:28Speaker 2: poles that are all rigged, it means she's really ten
- 18:30Speaker 2: points behind. They rig those poles by about eight to
- 18:33Speaker 2: ten points, So if she's only five points ahead, she's
- 18:35Speaker 2: probably really actually behind. Let's go to Jerry in New Jersey. Jerry,
- 18:39Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 18:41Speaker 11: Good morning?
- 18:42Speaker 5: Mark?
- 18:42Speaker 11: How are you?
- 18:43Speaker 2: Let me check good? Good?
- 18:45Speaker 12: I think you're good. I don't know if it's a
- 18:49Speaker 12: scare tactic or not. At the air traffic controllers, however,
- 18:53Speaker 12: Trump should pull a Reagan. If you don't show up fired,
- 18:58Speaker 12: bring in the military air traffic controllers and that would
- 19:01Speaker 12: end that right there.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Well, that was a little different situation. That strike was
- 19:04Speaker 2: about money, and they went on strike. They all walked
- 19:09Speaker 2: out at once. So that was the reason for that.
- 19:11Speaker 2: But this is not as scary. There's a couple of
- 19:13Speaker 2: airports operating now without controllers. But what they don't want
- 19:17Speaker 2: you to know if that has happened in the past,
- 19:19Speaker 2: and what it means is you simply controlled from another
- 19:22Speaker 2: tower at another nearby airport. It's not good, but it's
- 19:25Speaker 2: not as scary as they make it out to be.
- 19:28Speaker 2: And the other reason Reagan wanted to do that he
- 19:31Speaker 2: had just taken office, he had just become president, and
- 19:34Speaker 2: the air traffic controllers thought they could show him and
- 19:37Speaker 2: they all walked out, paralyzing the whole nation. Well, he
- 19:41Speaker 2: fired them all, brought in the military. It was an incredibly,
- 19:44Speaker 2: unbelievably bold move on the part of the president. The
- 19:47Speaker 2: real reason he did that is he wanted to show
- 19:51Speaker 2: the Soviet Union at the time how tough he could
- 19:54Speaker 2: be in China, and they took that as a warning
- 19:57Speaker 2: that this guy doesn't bluff, and you can't bluff, and
- 20:01Speaker 2: this guy is fearless. So that that's the other reason
- 20:03Speaker 2: he did that. Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn.
- 20:06Speaker 9: Vincent, how you doing, good morning, Mark, Mark, I'm okay. Mark.
- 20:10Speaker 9: The only one who could pull Kathy Hkal's chestnuts side
- 20:12Speaker 9: of the fire is Curtis Leewer, because if Mondami gets
- 20:16Speaker 9: elected by next summer, she's gonna be toasting the polls.
- 20:21Speaker 5: Mark.
- 20:21Speaker 9: You're one hundred percent right about Rightless Island being the
- 20:25Speaker 9: only island that had as a bridge and it's easy
- 20:29Speaker 9: to get to. I had to go bail somebody out
- 20:32Speaker 9: there years ago, and me and this guy I com
- 20:34Speaker 9: mentioned his name, Me and Jimmy Motts. We got in
- 20:38Speaker 9: his sports car and we went to the parking lot.
- 20:41Speaker 9: And if you're gonna go on the bus, it's the
- 20:45Speaker 9: free bus. It's the Department of Corrections. They pat you
- 20:48Speaker 9: down before you go on the bus to make sure
- 20:50Speaker 9: you're not bringing Contraband I waited in the car on
- 20:54Speaker 9: the sun deck and I got a sun there. And
- 20:56Speaker 9: it was in the summer, and you could build the
- 20:59Speaker 9: Blasi and Mario Cuomo because the book was correctional facility
- 21:05Speaker 9: not far about a mile away from my house. They
- 21:09Speaker 9: closed that and they're building co ops over there and
- 21:13Speaker 9: build the Blazzio at the time said oh, he was
- 21:16Speaker 9: also one of these. I'm going to close like his
- 21:18Speaker 9: island and every all the community groups in every borough
- 21:24Speaker 9: were up in arms because he said he was gonna build,
- 21:27Speaker 9: like you said, five five prisons.
- 21:31Speaker 2: The dumbest idea, and it was CMO that was behind it.
- 21:34Speaker 9: Exactly stop it.
- 21:36Speaker 2: He's going to stop his own idea.
- 21:38Speaker 9: And there's a co op there now they're they're building
- 21:41Speaker 9: a high rise. Call up where the prison is. That's
- 21:44Speaker 9: why they really wanted it.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Yeah, well, great call, Vincent, excellent point. Oh when we
- 21:49Speaker 2: come back, Steve Moore will be with us, the Great Economist.
- 21:53Speaker 2: We've got lots to talk to him about. Coming up
- 21:55Speaker 2: next on seven to ten w R Western of.
- 21:59Speaker 1: The or Gear's more marksimone on seven tenor.
- 22:09Speaker 2: I'm stalling a little here, but it's the hunt for
- 22:12Speaker 2: Steve Moore. We're looking for him, the Great Economist. Man
- 22:16Speaker 2: is a genius, an absolute genius. But you know how
- 22:18Speaker 2: these geniuses are, sometimes it's hard to track them down.
- 22:22Speaker 2: I just saw him yesterday. We were on cudload together
- 22:24Speaker 2: yesterday and then we had a big dinner last night
- 22:27Speaker 2: honoring the greatest economist in the world. The greatest living
- 22:31Speaker 2: economist is doctor Art Laugher. He's the guy that invented
- 22:35Speaker 2: the Laugher curve, which is a basis. Wait a minute,
- 22:41Speaker 2: we have all the TVs on here, one on MSNBC,
- 22:45Speaker 2: one on CNN, and this one on Fox. And I'm
- 22:49Speaker 2: looking at the one on Fox, and the guest is
- 22:51Speaker 2: Steve Moore. It's live, so you know, normally we can't
- 22:59Speaker 2: find him. And I said, yeah, he'll turn up. We'll
- 23:01Speaker 2: get him in a couple of minutes. But there he is.
- 23:03Speaker 2: He's on with Bill Hemmer, who was at the dinner
- 23:05Speaker 2: last night with us. He's on with Bill Hemmer talking
- 23:09Speaker 2: about actually we should just play the audio. We'll have
- 23:12Speaker 2: Steve Moore that way. Can you bring it up? Bring
- 23:16Speaker 2: up Fox. Let's see what do you say, We'll look
- 23:19Speaker 2: for it. I think he was got a little mixed
- 23:22Speaker 2: up in his schedule. They we had this dinner honoring
- 23:25Speaker 2: Art Laugher fiftieth anniversary of the Laugher curve, which is
- 23:29Speaker 2: how you determine the tax policy. In other words, when
- 23:31Speaker 2: you bring down the taxes, you increase the revenue if
- 23:34Speaker 2: you do it right. And it was people greatest economists
- 23:38Speaker 2: from all over the world flew in for this dinner.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Bill Hemmer was there and Steve Moore ran the dinner.
- 23:45Speaker 2: But he's on right now on Fox, listen to.
- 23:47Speaker 13: This inflated rhetoric that keeps coming out of the Democrats.
- 23:53Speaker 13: I'm old enough to remember when we passed Obamacare, remember
- 23:58Speaker 13: that in twenty ten, and said this is all our
- 24:02Speaker 13: health care problems. I remember it was called the Affordable
- 24:05Speaker 13: Care Act. And since then, the cost of healthcare has
- 24:07Speaker 13: gone up and up and up up.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Every year.
- 24:09Speaker 13: It's doubled in costs since we passed Obamacare. So the
- 24:13Speaker 13: same people who told us Obamacare was going to solve
- 24:15Speaker 13: all our health care problems are now saying, if we
- 24:17Speaker 13: don't pass these massive extensions of Obamacare, we're going to
- 24:21Speaker 13: we're going.
- 24:22Speaker 2: To have a real problems. They were supposed to be temper, Yeah,
- 24:28Speaker 2: go ahead.
- 24:28Speaker 14: I mean it doesn't sound like anyone at this point.
- 24:32Speaker 14: I mean, this could go maybe another week. There's this
- 24:34Speaker 14: talk about this No King's protest that's coming to DC
- 24:38Speaker 14: on the eighteenth. I believe don't know if they're going
- 24:40Speaker 14: to wait for that. They could, but it could continue
- 24:42Speaker 14: to drag on. What's interesting is that you know, we
- 24:44Speaker 14: know it's hitting federal workers, we know it's hitting area.
- 24:47Speaker 2: I think we got the idea, so you can't say
- 24:50Speaker 2: we didn't bring you Steve more. We just had an
- 24:51Speaker 2: interview with Steve Moore. You see, this is the thing,
- 24:54Speaker 2: if you're doing this in a million years, you'll have
- 24:56Speaker 2: guests that don't show up and you got to fill
- 24:59Speaker 2: the tent. But the courtesy of Steve Moore to when
- 25:03Speaker 2: he doesn't show up to go on TV with a
- 25:05Speaker 2: live interviewing, we can broadcast that. But you know, what
- 25:07Speaker 2: he was saying is just what I was going to
- 25:10Speaker 2: ask him about anyway. Which is a big part of
- 25:14Speaker 2: the shutdown is this healthcare stuff. And the big problem
- 25:18Speaker 2: is the cost of healthcare is going up like crazy.
- 25:21Speaker 2: And as he pointed out, when they passed Obamacare, nobody
- 25:24Speaker 2: remembers this. They call it Obamacare. The original name was
- 25:27Speaker 2: the Affordable Care Act, and that was the idea. And
- 25:31Speaker 2: it turned out, I know this is hard to believe.
- 25:35Speaker 2: I don't mean it, Shakia, but it turned out that
- 25:36Speaker 2: Obama lied about the whole thing when he started it.
- 25:40Speaker 2: You remember he kept saying, if you like your doctor,
- 25:42Speaker 2: you can keep your doctor. If you like your plan,
- 25:45Speaker 2: you can keep your plan. Well, it turns out that
- 25:47Speaker 2: was totally false, and we now know it's come out
- 25:51Speaker 2: since that he knew it was false, that many people
- 25:54Speaker 2: couldn't keep their doctor, and many people couldn't keep their plan.
- 25:58Speaker 2: And the other problem was the name Affordable Care Act.
- 26:03Speaker 2: It wasn't It might start it off looking okay, but
- 26:06Speaker 2: then the cost quickly swored and got out of control.
- 26:09Speaker 2: That's what a lot of this fight is about right now.
- 26:12Speaker 5: Now.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Republicans do the same thing. Remember Bush used to be
- 26:15Speaker 2: famous for that. He'd to have a bill that was
- 26:17Speaker 2: going to it was the Clean Skies Act, and then
- 26:22Speaker 2: but you had actually read it was to open a
- 26:24Speaker 2: bunch of coal plants, which but they just give it
- 26:26Speaker 2: a fancy name, a misleading name, the Clean Energy Act,
- 26:29Speaker 2: which it wasn't. So but Obama did that with the
- 26:33Speaker 2: Affordable Care Act. It was just the opposite. Prices are
- 26:36Speaker 2: way out of control and they're due to almost double
- 26:39Speaker 2: in the next year. That's one reason for the shutdown.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Republicans want to fix this, Democrats want to keep it.
- 26:46Speaker 2: And President Trump has been saying over and over, you
- 26:48Speaker 2: got to redo this health carelet it's got to be redone.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Of course, Democrats don't trust Trump to do it. So
- 26:53Speaker 2: that's what we're going to talk to Steve more about that.
- 26:55Speaker 2: The other thing I would ask him about the stock
- 26:57Speaker 2: market set another record yesterday, s and P five hundred
- 27:00Speaker 2: all time record, NASDAK all time record. And you know,
- 27:04Speaker 2: we've been saying that all along. Every week for the
- 27:09Speaker 2: better like the past five or six weeks, the stock
- 27:11Speaker 2: market's been setting all kinds of records. So what that
- 27:14Speaker 2: means is the tariffs are not a problem. The tariffs
- 27:17Speaker 2: are not causing inflation, the tariffs are not hurt in
- 27:21Speaker 2: the economy. Wall Street has seen that that. Wall Street
- 27:24Speaker 2: now accepts the fact that the tariffs are just fine,
- 27:27Speaker 2: doing no damage. And it caused the stock markets all
- 27:32Speaker 2: kinds of records. They've driven it up to the highest
- 27:34Speaker 2: level ever. And now you got the shutdown for nine
- 27:37Speaker 2: or ten days and we're setting new records with the
- 27:41Speaker 2: stock market during the shutdown, which means Wall Street is
- 27:46Speaker 2: just fine with the shutdown. So it's worked out. It's
- 27:50Speaker 2: worked out very well. Now, the shutdown. You can't continue
- 27:53Speaker 2: this forever. It's got to be settled at some point.
- 27:55Speaker 2: How long could it go? Well, the longest shutdown ever
- 27:58Speaker 2: was thirty five days, December twenty eighteen. I know you
- 28:02Speaker 2: don't remember it, nobody remembers, but it was thirty five days.
- 28:04Speaker 2: You can you can do that. So Steve Moore also
- 28:08Speaker 2: mentioned they're talking about a protest this weekend called the
- 28:10Speaker 2: No Kings. They're bringing that back. They're bringing that stupid
- 28:15Speaker 2: slogan back, No Kings. I guess that means Trump is
- 28:20Speaker 2: trying to be you know, that's the other thing you
- 28:22Speaker 2: hear that these Pritzkers say he's trying to seize power.
- 28:25Speaker 2: He's the president of the United States. There's no more
- 28:28Speaker 2: power to seize. You know, once you get to be president,
- 28:31Speaker 2: you're really not looking to seize much power anymore. That's like,
- 28:35Speaker 2: you know, Elon Musk is worth four hundred and eighty
- 28:38Speaker 2: billion dollars. They take you he trying to enrich himself.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Once you're over four hundred billion, you couldn't enrich yourself
- 28:44Speaker 2: if you tried. It's impossible, you know. Yeah, he's about
- 28:50Speaker 2: to hit five hundred billion. He'll be a trillionaire at
- 28:54Speaker 2: some point. You know, once you're above one hundred billion,
- 28:57Speaker 2: you couldn't spend it if you tried. You literally could
- 28:59Speaker 2: not spend it. It's impossible. You can't do it. It's impossible.
- 29:04Speaker 2: You're earning like ten billion a year just an interest.
- 29:08Speaker 2: You can't spend it. So you wouldn't be trying to
- 29:11Speaker 2: enrich yourself anyway. We'll get Steve Moore next week. He
- 29:17Speaker 2: does show up, I'd say ninety eight percent of the time,
- 29:21Speaker 2: but hey, coming up, we got a lot to get
- 29:23Speaker 2: to In the next hour. Jimmy Faylor will be with us.
- 29:25Speaker 2: You know, he does a great show every night nine
- 29:28Speaker 2: to midnight. You got to listen to it. It's funny,
- 29:30Speaker 2: it's interesting, and of course you got Buck and Clay
- 29:33Speaker 2: right after this show. They'll be on at noon today
- 29:35Speaker 2: on seven to ten wor.
- 29:38Speaker 14: Marslo Show on seven ten wr.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Well, no more, No More Yankee season. It's over. It's over. Yeah,
- 29:53Speaker 2: it ended last night. It was not much of a
- 29:56Speaker 2: kind of a sad ending. A strikeout end the game here.
- 30:00Speaker 7: The one two pitch game.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Jeff hop then strikes out Cody Bellinger and the Blue
- 30:10Speaker 2: Jays have done it. They have not taught the New
- 30:13Speaker 2: York Yankees. They have won their first playoff.
- 30:17Speaker 4: Series since twenty sixteen, and they are going to the
- 30:22Speaker 4: American League Championship Series.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Now, that's the problem with baseball nowadays. You remember the
- 30:27Speaker 2: old days. You win the end of the seed, you win,
- 30:29Speaker 2: you win the pennant. That's the Pennant. Now you go
- 30:31Speaker 2: to the World Series. Now, when you win these series,
- 30:34Speaker 2: it doesn't mean that you're just signed the next one.
- 30:36Speaker 2: It's the al DS series, the ale BS series, the
- 30:39Speaker 2: al CS series. So you just keep winning and then
- 30:43Speaker 2: it's another You know, it used to be October fourth
- 30:46Speaker 2: you'd start the World Series. Now it's like the middle
- 30:48Speaker 2: of November. So the Yankees are done for the year.
- 30:51Speaker 2: You know, it's been sixteen years since the World Championship.
- 30:58Speaker 2: There's no there's no Georgetown Brenner anymore. It's not the
- 31:01Speaker 2: same thing. Remember how many World Championship Remember any World
- 31:04Speaker 2: Series rings?
- 31:05Speaker 5: There are.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Sixteen years since the last one. Hey, we got a
- 31:10Speaker 2: lot to get to. Right after the news, I'm here
- 31:12Speaker 2: every day ten to noon, or if you want, you
- 31:15Speaker 2: can listen anytime you want Daar Knight. Just get the
- 31:17Speaker 2: podcast wherever you get your podcasts back right after the
- 31:20Speaker 2: news on seven to ten wor Mark Simoner. Hey, we'll
- 31:31Speaker 2: get to Israel, we'll get to California, we'll get to
- 31:35Speaker 2: the UN and a lot more coming up. Jimmy Falo
- 31:37Speaker 2: will be with us later this hour. This is actually
- 31:40Speaker 2: it's Thursday. This is actually the first real actual autumn
- 31:44Speaker 2: day fall day. I mean not on the calendar, but
- 31:47Speaker 2: it actually, for the first time, actually feels like fall.
- 31:50Speaker 2: It's nippy outside, it's chili. It's fifty three degrees right now.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Look at that temperature right now, fifty three. Let me see,
- 32:01Speaker 2: it'll go up to sixty degrees. That's it. It'll hit
- 32:03Speaker 2: sixty at three o'clock. Then it's right back into the fifties.
- 32:06Speaker 2: First actual fall like day to day in New York City.
- 32:11Speaker 2: So that was good news. We just heard on the
- 32:14Speaker 2: newscast about the United Nations getting rid of a quarter
- 32:18Speaker 2: twenty five percent of their forces. They call them UN
- 32:21Speaker 2: peacekeeping force. They've never kept any peace anywhere. They're those
- 32:25Speaker 2: idiots with the blue helmets. They're the most useless people
- 32:27Speaker 2: in the world. They're blaming the US cutting funding to
- 32:31Speaker 2: the UN. Well, if you're going to defund something, it's
- 32:33Speaker 2: not the police, defund the UN. There's nothing more deserving
- 32:38Speaker 2: of defunding than the United Nations. They are the most useless,
- 32:42Speaker 2: anti Semitic vip lounge for dictators. Just close the whole thing,
- 32:47Speaker 2: get it out of New York. Yankees lost last night. Heartbreaking, Well,
- 32:52Speaker 2: you know what, it wasn't heartbreaking. You could see it coming,
- 32:54Speaker 2: didn't you. It didn't really think they were going to
- 32:58Speaker 2: pull this off. It's not just it's the same. It's
- 33:00Speaker 2: not the same Yankees from years ago. Outside of a
- 33:03Speaker 2: couple of players, it's not Yankee quality now. Bad Bunny
- 33:08Speaker 2: was at the game three rows back behind home plate
- 33:13Speaker 2: and at one point when they all when they sang
- 33:15Speaker 2: God Bless America, and the whole audience stood. Pictures show
- 33:18Speaker 2: Bad Bunny did not stand during God Bless America. I
- 33:24Speaker 2: don't know what's wrong with this guy. He's not He's
- 33:27Speaker 2: a great musically, he's great, and if you saw him
- 33:29Speaker 2: host Saturday Night Live, it's quite a charming guy. He's good.
- 33:32Speaker 2: He was great as a host of Saturday Night Live.
- 33:34Speaker 2: But he's a crazy left wing guy and he's got
- 33:40Speaker 2: that deep hatred of Ice. He doesn't want he doesn't
- 33:43Speaker 2: want the laws enforced. You know, basically, Ice is just
- 33:46Speaker 2: law enforcement throwing illegals out of the country that are
- 33:49Speaker 2: here illegally. That's the law. He's supposed to do that.
- 33:54Speaker 2: But you know, the left wing nuts and Bad Bunny,
- 33:58Speaker 2: I guess is now one of them. They decide what
- 34:01Speaker 2: laws they want enforced, what laws they don't want enforced
- 34:04Speaker 2: and illegals running all over the place. They love that
- 34:07Speaker 2: for whatever reasons. But he apparently caused.
- 34:11Speaker 8: Now.
- 34:11Speaker 2: I don't know what he's up to. You know, sometimes
- 34:13Speaker 2: sometimes they're just left wing kooks, and sometimes, especially when
- 34:16Speaker 2: they're in the entertainment world, sometimes they're just calculating the
- 34:21Speaker 2: whole thing. They got spreadsheets, they're calculating if I appeal
- 34:25Speaker 2: more to the left wing wackos, will I be more popular,
- 34:28Speaker 2: will I sell more songs? Well, it could be a
- 34:31Speaker 2: little calculation on this part. Hey. The New Jersey debate
- 34:36Speaker 2: was last night. It's very, very very close. Chittarelli's not
- 34:39Speaker 2: the greatest candidate in the world. He should win, he'd
- 34:42Speaker 2: be the better governor. But it's something about him. He's
- 34:45Speaker 2: not the best candidate, something a little off putting about him.
- 34:49Speaker 2: But he took on Mikey Cheryl. It was rough debate.
- 34:55Speaker 2: They really went after each other. It was civil, but
- 34:59Speaker 2: it was tough. They were both tough on each other.
- 35:02Speaker 2: She had a big lead over him, She's lost the
- 35:04Speaker 2: lead in the most recent polls. Titterrelly has caught up
- 35:07Speaker 2: to her. And again, those poles are generally slanted and
- 35:11Speaker 2: rigged against Republicans. So if he's tied in the polls,
- 35:14Speaker 2: he's probably ahead. So she's a little nervous. She was
- 35:17Speaker 2: changing her tone on a lot of issues. Here's some
- 35:20Speaker 2: of the last night's debate.
- 35:21Speaker 15: Then he was paid to develop an app so that
- 35:24Speaker 15: people who are addicted could more easily get access.
- 35:27Speaker 2: He worked for a drug company for a while. When
- 35:29Speaker 2: he went back to the private sex, something with a
- 35:31Speaker 2: drug company was putting some drug out there. She kept
- 35:33Speaker 2: going after him for that.
- 35:34Speaker 15: Then he was paid to develop an app so that
- 35:37Speaker 15: people who were addicted could more easily get access to opioids.
- 35:41Speaker 15: And so as he made millions, as these opioid companies
- 35:45Speaker 15: made billions, tens of thousands of New Jersey ands died.
- 35:50Speaker 16: Mister tell first of all, shame on you. Second of all,
- 35:56Speaker 16: shame on you, sir, Shame on you. During the Biden administration,
- 36:00Speaker 16: no problem whatsoever with tens of thousands of people crashing
- 36:02Speaker 16: our border each and every day, not knowing what impact
- 36:05Speaker 16: they had in our communities with regard to fentanyl crisis,
- 36:08Speaker 16: fetanyl abuse, fetanyl distribution, vaccination rates, and alike. Talk to
- 36:13Speaker 16: your local police, talk to your county proscuers in New Jersey.
- 36:16Speaker 16: Since the border has been secured, fetanyl crisis has decreased significantly.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't say he won that round. I mean,
- 36:24Speaker 2: she's wrong on the fentanyl, but he's wrong on the opiate.
- 36:27Speaker 2: She kind of got him on that one. That round
- 36:30Speaker 2: I don't think helped him. Here's more.
- 36:32Speaker 16: With regard to everything she just said about my professional career,
- 36:34Speaker 16: which provided my family, it's a lie.
- 36:36Speaker 2: I'm proud of my career.
- 36:37Speaker 1: You get thirty seconds.
- 36:38Speaker 15: I'm happy to publish the information. And here it is
- 36:41Speaker 15: that I work because I think our kids deserve better.
- 36:45Speaker 15: I think the people you got addicted and died deserve
- 36:48Speaker 15: better than you. Then I'll tell you, yeah, tens of
- 36:51Speaker 15: thousands here as you published misinformation, as you've got more
- 36:54Speaker 15: people addicted, as you worked to got paid to develop
- 36:57Speaker 15: an app so that more people could get more openoids
- 37:00Speaker 15: and die. But here's the fact, I even during even.
- 37:04Speaker 16: I got the walk at my college, and I'm so.
- 37:06Speaker 15: Glad that you then went on to kill tens of
- 37:08Speaker 15: thousands of people in New Jersey, including ChIL They just
- 37:13Speaker 15: wrote the law. In fact, your campaign right now is
- 37:15Speaker 15: under federal investigation for how you illegally got access to
- 37:18Speaker 15: my records. So to say, that right now, and I
- 37:20Speaker 15: think you're trying to divert from the fact that you
- 37:22Speaker 15: killed tens of thousands of people by Prince broke the wall.
- 37:26Speaker 2: She kind of got him on that one. You know,
- 37:28Speaker 2: he said, you didn't walk in your graduation. There was
- 37:31Speaker 2: a cheating scandal at the Naval Academy, and she refused
- 37:35Speaker 2: to name whoever she knew was cheating, and as a result,
- 37:39Speaker 2: she could not walk in the graduation. But I mean,
- 37:42Speaker 2: that's pretty bad, but it's not as bad as selling opioid,
- 37:44Speaker 2: going to work for an opioid company, putting on an
- 37:46Speaker 2: app that leads people to hope. She kind of got
- 37:49Speaker 2: him on that one. The other thing he's referring to
- 37:51Speaker 2: of the stock trades, she's very sleazy on that. As
- 37:55Speaker 2: a member of Congress, she was engaged in all kinds
- 37:57Speaker 2: of insider trading, which is legal. Out to do insider
- 38:01Speaker 2: trading in Congress. They get word ahead of everybody else
- 38:04Speaker 2: about test results of who's going to get a contract,
- 38:06Speaker 2: who's going to get a ruling, and he can make it.
- 38:08Speaker 2: You can make a fortune trading stocks. So she made
- 38:11Speaker 2: seven million trading stocks and then tried to deny it.
- 38:15Speaker 2: But as leasy as that is. It's typical. Everybody in
- 38:18Speaker 2: Congress is doing it. So but the opioid thing, that
- 38:21Speaker 2: doesn't sound good. Now, then she tried to connect him
- 38:26Speaker 2: to Trump. You know you're a Trump supporter. Will you
- 38:28Speaker 2: denounced Trump? Will you do this because she thinks that's
- 38:30Speaker 2: going to win over votes for her. But here's a
- 38:33Speaker 2: bit of that.
- 38:34Speaker 16: I disagree with the president on the Empire wind farm
- 38:36Speaker 16: or for Long Island. We hope that that doesn't mean
- 38:39Speaker 16: there'll be wind farms off our Jersey shore. He's put
- 38:41Speaker 16: a temporary halt on that. I will make it permanent
- 38:44Speaker 16: when I'm governor. But let me be clear, no matter
- 38:46Speaker 16: who is it's in the White House. My job is
- 38:48Speaker 16: to stand up with a nine point three million citizens
- 38:50Speaker 16: of the state, and I weir, I will, I will
- 38:52Speaker 16: fiercely advocate for them at all times.
- 38:55Speaker 2: All right, But she kept going after my Trump.
- 38:58Speaker 15: He's shown zero science standing up to this president. In fact,
- 39:01Speaker 15: the President himself called Jack one hundred percent mega, and
- 39:04Speaker 15: he's shown every side sign of being that. He said
- 39:07Speaker 15: it's his job to support the President of the United States.
- 39:10Speaker 2: See that's good talk for Democrats. He's this guy, this
- 39:13Speaker 2: guy's mega. Oh god, he wants to make America great. Whoof,
- 39:18Speaker 2: that's just awful. He won't stand up to the president
- 39:22Speaker 2: on what and what fighting crime, ending the war? And
- 39:26Speaker 2: is what here's supposed to stand up to him? Man,
- 39:28Speaker 2: he's Chindarelli. You speaking of crime, and we're going to
- 39:30Speaker 2: be a law and order state again.
- 39:32Speaker 16: We do that by not having sanctuary cities, and we
- 39:34Speaker 16: do that by reforming bail reform. Bill cashlest bail has
- 39:38Speaker 16: created a professional criminal in New Jersey who's learned how
- 39:41Speaker 16: to gain the system. Talk to your local police about
- 39:44Speaker 16: arrest release repeal. My opponent has not said a word
- 39:47Speaker 16: about getting rid of sanctuary cities, the Immigrant Trust Directive.
- 39:50Speaker 16: She's not set a word about reforming bail reform.
- 39:53Speaker 2: Yeah, that no bail note jail that Cuomo gave us.
- 39:56Speaker 2: That is the worst thing in the world, and they
- 39:59Speaker 2: do have it in j.
- 40:00Speaker 15: I'm the only one who's actually worked closely with law
- 40:03Speaker 15: enforcement prosecuting cases to keep dangerous people off the streets.
- 40:07Speaker 15: I'm very proud of my record there and I continue
- 40:11Speaker 15: to push forward in that work. So I've worked with
- 40:13Speaker 15: all of the police chiefs in my district on our
- 40:15Speaker 15: auto thefts to make sure we had license plate readers
- 40:18Speaker 15: federally funded so we could drive down the rash of
- 40:21Speaker 15: auto thefts. So again and again and again, I've worked
- 40:23Speaker 15: on public safety.
- 40:25Speaker 2: Yeah, but doesn't mean you were any good at it.
- 40:28Speaker 2: That doesn't mean you did the right thing when it
- 40:29Speaker 2: comes to that. That's the problem. You know that no bail,
- 40:33Speaker 2: no jail. That was the worst thing ever. Let the
- 40:36Speaker 2: criminals out. No bail, no jail. It was Cuomo that
- 40:39Speaker 2: pushed it. It's Cuomo back then. He didn't just sign it.
- 40:44Speaker 2: He pushed for no bail, no jail. Take a listen
- 40:46Speaker 2: to Cuomo as governor. It's just the worst thing in
- 40:50Speaker 2: the world. He's pushing this no bail, no jail.
- 40:53Speaker 5: Black or white.
- 40:54Speaker 17: That's whether you're richer or We're gonna add the cast
- 40:57Speaker 17: bail system once in for all. We're going to do
- 41:00Speaker 17: it in New York, and we're gonna do it this year.
- 41:07Speaker 17: We have to have moral alternatives to incarceration, strict timelines
- 41:12Speaker 17: on court dates, and we have to eliminate the racial
- 41:15Speaker 17: bias that is pervasive in our criminal justice system. As
- 41:21Speaker 17: governor of the State of New York, I can't tell
- 41:24Speaker 17: you how proud I am to have closed more prisons
- 41:29Speaker 17: than any governor in the history of the state.
- 41:32Speaker 6: And I'm not done yet.
- 41:35Speaker 2: Yeah, he's just an absolute left wing kook as governor.
- 41:38Speaker 2: His no bail, no jail. Now he's the guy that
- 41:41Speaker 2: caused the crime wave in a number of ways. Of
- 41:43Speaker 2: the no bail, no jail, the closing prisons, letting the
- 41:48Speaker 2: prisoners loose, taken away, the qualified immunity from cops. That
- 41:52Speaker 2: means they can be personally sued by anybody they approach,
- 41:55Speaker 2: so they have to approach less people. Now no bail,
- 41:59Speaker 2: notes the Cuomo gave us, look at this case. Here's
- 42:04Speaker 2: a perfect result. This happened this week. He got a
- 42:07Speaker 2: maniac on the subway with a big sword. He's wielding
- 42:11Speaker 2: a huge sword. He's a guy with twenty three priors.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Oh excuse me, thirty three priors. Thirty three priors. But
- 42:20Speaker 2: it's no bail, no jail. He's free to roam the streets.
- 42:23Speaker 2: He's totally deranged. He's got a rap sheet a mile long.
- 42:26Speaker 2: He's on the subway. He takes out his sword. He
- 42:30Speaker 2: beats a guy to a pulp. An older man savagely
- 42:34Speaker 2: beats Some sources said he attacked the sixty four year
- 42:37Speaker 2: old victim in the subway station. He said it was
- 42:40Speaker 2: a shockingly brutal attack, pummeling his face, stomping on his
- 42:43Speaker 2: head fifteen times. The beating lasted ten minutes, and at
- 42:49Speaker 2: the end of ten minutes, he took the victim's wallet
- 42:51Speaker 2: and ID, which delayed the identification by the police, left
- 42:55Speaker 2: him unconscious battered. The man died roughly an hour later.
- 43:00Speaker 2: Now this is the guy that got out on no bail,
- 43:02Speaker 2: no jail despite thirty three prior arrests. Why did he
- 43:08Speaker 2: beat the guy so much? What started this? He said,
- 43:10Speaker 2: I don't like the way he looked at me. A
- 43:13Speaker 2: witness to say, he held the door open for this
- 43:17Speaker 2: guy to come in. The old man held the door
- 43:19Speaker 2: open for this guy to come in, but the guy
- 43:21Speaker 2: didn't like the way he looked at him. So, but
- 43:23Speaker 2: this is the result of this no bail, no jail.
- 43:25Speaker 2: Unbelievable that Cuomo pushed this on us. Now he's trying
- 43:29Speaker 2: to defend the no bail, no jail. You've seen him
- 43:31Speaker 2: do interviews this week. There was one yesterday, Good Day
- 43:34Speaker 2: in New York and he said, well, though lots of
- 43:36Speaker 2: states have the no bail, no jail, yeah, there are
- 43:41Speaker 2: a lot of other states that haven't, and in every
- 43:42Speaker 2: single one it caused a massive crime wave. It was
- 43:46Speaker 2: a disaster everywhere. And that's the thing with Mondani, you know,
- 43:49Speaker 2: like most Champagne socialists, they're pushing ideas and plans that
- 43:53Speaker 2: have failed everywhere in the world every time they've been tried. Now,
- 43:58Speaker 2: Hokeel's got a real Hochel's in big trouble. She's dropping
- 44:02Speaker 2: in the polls as a result of her support for
- 44:05Speaker 2: Mom Donnie. Now there's other things besides endorsum. He's got
- 44:10Speaker 2: this crazy idea of taking control away from the police
- 44:13Speaker 2: commissioner for disciplinary actions. He wants to hand it to
- 44:18Speaker 2: the what do you call that, the criminal citizen criminal
- 44:21Speaker 2: citizen review board, well as mayor. You can stack that
- 44:25Speaker 2: with the most left wing communists or anybody you want,
- 44:29Speaker 2: and that way, no cop is protected. So if a
- 44:32Speaker 2: cop has nobody to watch his back, nobody to protect him,
- 44:36Speaker 2: he's not going to do anything. He's not going to
- 44:38Speaker 2: approach any crime. He's just going to run and hide
- 44:40Speaker 2: the whole time. Who can blame him? But will Hokeel
- 44:43Speaker 2: step in on that? She says, well, we'll talk about it.
- 44:48Speaker 2: I'll talk about it Hokeel said on MSNBC. Listen, nothing's
- 44:53Speaker 2: going to happen in this city without me being aware
- 44:56Speaker 2: of it and involved. Hokeel did, she's firmly pushing Mom
- 45:01Speaker 2: Donnie to keep the current NYPD commissioner, Jessica Tish when
- 45:07Speaker 2: he wins. Now, everybody likes Jessica Tish good police commissioner.
- 45:10Speaker 2: So she says she's pushing him to keep. Now we
- 45:12Speaker 2: know we've seen it already in a couple of cases.
- 45:15Speaker 2: Mom Donnie never listens to HKL. He totally dismisses her
- 45:19Speaker 2: and doesn't care what she has to say. So how
- 45:22Speaker 2: do you stop this guy? Well, a week from tonight.
- 45:25Speaker 2: One week from tonight is the mayoral debate. If Curtis
- 45:28Speaker 2: can be amazing in that debate, or something bad happens
- 45:31Speaker 2: with Mom Donnie in the debate, that could turn it
- 45:34Speaker 2: all around. That could change things. The other thing is
- 45:37Speaker 2: they're still working in Washington looking into Mom Donnie's money.
- 45:43Speaker 2: Tens and tens and millions of dollars have flown in
- 45:47Speaker 2: to his campaign, a lot of it they think has
- 45:49Speaker 2: come from foreign sources. If they can trace foreign money
- 45:52Speaker 2: directly into Mam Donnie's campaign, they can take him out
- 45:56Speaker 2: of the race. They can eliminate him from the race.
- 45:59Speaker 2: The other thing going on, I've heard this now from
- 46:01Speaker 2: a Justice Department official. If mom Donnie does anything anti
- 46:07Speaker 2: semitic as mayor anything anti semitic, they can come in
- 46:13Speaker 2: and remove him or arrest him or charge him with
- 46:16Speaker 2: hate crime. The Department of Justice is looking at that.
- 46:19Speaker 2: There's all kinds of laws against discrimination and hate crime.
- 46:23Speaker 2: So if he tries anything anti semitic, they will do
- 46:27Speaker 2: everything they can to block him. Hey, Bill Belichick, looks
- 46:31Speaker 2: like they're trying to get rid of him at that
- 46:33Speaker 2: college doesn't want him anymore. The school has ad they say,
- 46:37Speaker 2: preliminary conversations about firing Belichick. They can't stand the twenty
- 46:41Speaker 2: four year old girlfriend who's bossing everybody around. Jordan Hudson.
- 46:46Speaker 2: The complication is, if you get rid of Belichick, there's
- 46:48Speaker 2: a twenty million dollar buyout. They are looking at alleged
- 46:54Speaker 2: rules violations. If they can prove violations of their rules,
- 46:57Speaker 2: that will get rid of the twenty million dollar buyout.
- 47:00Speaker 2: They can get rid of that. There's all kinds of
- 47:02Speaker 2: rules they could look for. Things have gotten so bad.
- 47:05Speaker 2: You know, Hulu was doing a documentary on the school
- 47:08Speaker 2: and Belichick the school canceled it. They don't want anything
- 47:11Speaker 2: to do with it. His record is the coach there,
- 47:14Speaker 2: not good at all. They're two and three. Listen, he
- 47:18Speaker 2: was only great because Brady was there. I mean, it
- 47:22Speaker 2: was pretty obvious who was the real spark behind the Patriots?
- 47:27Speaker 2: Was it Brady? Was it Belichick? Well, Brady left and
- 47:30Speaker 2: he goes to Tampa, nothing team, and he wins the
- 47:33Speaker 2: Super Bowl with them. Belichick without Brady doesn't win a
- 47:37Speaker 2: damn thing anywhere he goes. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next.
- 47:40Speaker 2: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 47:43Speaker 2: the number. Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Get instant access to Mark by setting a pre set
- 47:51Speaker 1: in the iHeart Radio app for his live show and
- 47:54Speaker 1: his podcast. Now back to the Mark Zimone show on Wooray.
- 48:01Speaker 2: Let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 48:04Speaker 2: seven ten is the number. Let's go to Dennis in Huntington. Dennis,
- 48:08Speaker 2: how you doing him?
- 48:10Speaker 5: Mark Kelly?
- 48:11Speaker 2: You good?
- 48:12Speaker 18: Thanks for having me call something to put something out
- 48:15Speaker 18: there to be your opinion. This great article today in
- 48:18Speaker 18: the will Street Channel about the subsidies for Obamacare, and
- 48:22Speaker 18: they will give you examples of people who need a
- 48:25Speaker 18: paying nothing and they're making a lot of money too.
- 48:27Speaker 18: Just want business is. You know, a lot of people
- 48:29Speaker 18: pay monthly premions for health insurance and I'm looking at
- 48:33Speaker 18: these numbers on my cloud. These numbers are pretty low
- 48:35Speaker 18: for people making.
- 48:36Speaker 2: Yeah, but I know Obamacare, a lot of people are
- 48:38Speaker 2: paying very high amounts, ridiculous amounts. They called it the
- 48:41Speaker 2: Affordable Care Act, but it turned out not to be
- 48:43Speaker 2: so affordable. One of the things that Republicans want to
- 48:46Speaker 2: do is clean up the roles of who's on it.
- 48:49Speaker 2: You got a lot of dead people on it. Apparently
- 48:52Speaker 2: when somebody dies, somebody else can take their zip code
- 48:55Speaker 2: and continue the nothing's social Security number and continue the
- 49:00Speaker 2: coverage that stuff like that. You got a lot of
- 49:03Speaker 2: illegals on there. I know Democrats will say no, illegals,
- 49:06Speaker 2: they're not allowed on it. Well, there's many ways around that,
- 49:08Speaker 2: and that's one of the things Republicans want to want
- 49:11Speaker 2: to clean up. Let's go to Lauren in New Jersey. Lauren,
- 49:15Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 49:17Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 49:17Speaker 19: Hey, Mark, Hey, you know, yeah, no amount of healthcare
- 49:20Speaker 19: is going to help a deceased individual, but yeah, in
- 49:24Speaker 19: case anyone needs any more evidence about Trump derangements syndrome
- 49:28Speaker 19: being a real thing. Yeah, well, okay, So Trump has
- 49:32Speaker 19: been able to orchestrate a peace deal with the Middle East,
- 49:36Speaker 19: and yet the Democrats, the progressive Democrats, are unwilling to
- 49:41Speaker 19: negotiate for this country and do the right thing for
- 49:45Speaker 19: this kintry.
- 49:46Speaker 2: Yeah, well, all I gotta do is just sign that
- 49:48Speaker 2: seven week extension, then go back to work. Where are
- 49:50Speaker 2: you in New Jersey? Where do you live in New Jersey?
- 49:54Speaker 19: I'm out past Morris County.
- 49:56Speaker 2: Oh, a little vague there. You don't want to say
- 49:59Speaker 2: exactly where. Wait, I'm out past this county. Are you
- 50:02Speaker 2: Are you on the lamb or something?
- 50:05Speaker 19: Uh?
- 50:07Speaker 2: Okay, Well you don't have to answer to answer.
- 50:12Speaker 19: In a beautiful air, in a beautiful area of New
- 50:15Speaker 19: Jersey watching the leaves change.
- 50:17Speaker 2: I got it. You're somewhere you're not supposed to be
- 50:19Speaker 2: right now. All right, that's okay, Good luck to you.
- 50:21Speaker 2: Let's go to a veto in Staten Island. Veto. How
- 50:24Speaker 2: you doing?
- 50:26Speaker 11: Yeah, hi, Mark guy.
- 50:27Speaker 5: I want to comment about Cuomo. We don't lose.
- 50:31Speaker 10: He gets to keep all the funds that were contributed
- 50:34Speaker 10: to him by the high end.
- 50:36Speaker 2: Yeah, you get to keep the millions. That's every candidate though,
- 50:40Speaker 2: you know that's that's everybody.
- 50:41Speaker 10: That's why he's not Yeah, I feel that's why he's
- 50:44Speaker 10: not spending his money on campaigning.
- 50:46Speaker 2: Well, he is spending some money. He's running a lot
- 50:48Speaker 2: of commercials. Now, the reason he doesn't campaign the problem
- 50:55Speaker 2: of Cuomo. He's the world's worst debate or he stinks
- 50:58Speaker 2: in debates. He's not much of a speak. He still
- 51:01Speaker 2: hasn't opened a campaign office anywhere. Have you ever heard
- 51:04Speaker 2: of such a thing? The last final weeks the election,
- 51:10Speaker 2: still hasn't opened a campaign office. He doesn't really have
- 51:14Speaker 2: much of a schedule. You know, if you look at
- 51:15Speaker 2: Curtis's schedule, you'd faint just looking at the schedule. He
- 51:18Speaker 2: does like four hundred appearances today a day. He goes
- 51:21Speaker 2: to every borough. He's run around doing radio shows, TV shows.
- 51:25Speaker 2: He said Cuomo does nothing. He picks and chooses. Now,
- 51:27Speaker 2: in Cuomo's defense, he's extremely unpopular. He's got so much
- 51:33Speaker 2: baggage and scandal in his past that he can't go
- 51:37Speaker 2: do any interview he wants because he can't face questions.
- 51:41Speaker 2: He doesn't want to be grilled about all the awful
- 51:43Speaker 2: things he did as governor, the nursing homes, the no bail,
- 51:46Speaker 2: no jail, the closing our nuclear plant, all the stuff
- 51:49Speaker 2: he screwed up. He doesn't want to be asked about that.
- 51:51Speaker 2: And I guess the reason he doesn't do any rallies
- 51:55Speaker 2: or anything like that. He's worried about protesters because he's
- 51:58Speaker 2: he killed ten thousand people in our nursing homes and
- 52:02Speaker 2: they all have kids and families and relatives that are
- 52:04Speaker 2: trying to protest him. But he deliberately doesn't do rally
- 52:07Speaker 2: so they can't show up to protest. And that's probably
- 52:09Speaker 2: the reason he doesn't have a campaign headquarters, because he
- 52:12Speaker 2: knows the protesters will be out in front of it
- 52:14Speaker 2: all day and night. Hey, when we come back. The
- 52:16Speaker 2: Great Jimmy Fayla, very funny Jimmy Fayla. He's on every
- 52:20Speaker 2: night now in WR nine o'clock, also of course on
- 52:23Speaker 2: Fox News, but he'll be with us next on seven
- 52:26Speaker 2: to ten WR.
- 52:28Speaker 1: It's the Mark Simone Show on sevent ten WR.
- 52:33Speaker 9: Well.
- 52:33Speaker 2: The great talk show host, comedian Jimmy Fayla. He does
- 52:36Speaker 2: a great show. It's on WR now every night nine
- 52:40Speaker 2: to midnight, every weeknight nine to midnight. Check it out tonight.
- 52:43Speaker 2: He also does the best late night show on TV
- 52:46Speaker 2: Saturday nights ten o'clock on the Fox News Channel, Jimmy Fayla,
- 52:50Speaker 2: How you doing?
- 52:53Speaker 11: I'm doing good, Mark. I was thrilled to hear Trump
- 52:55Speaker 11: make a deal with Hamas.
- 52:57Speaker 5: Did you hear how he got it done?
- 52:59Speaker 2: Now?
- 53:01Speaker 11: Well, you know, obviously Net and Yahoo had been attacking
- 53:03Speaker 11: the bombitum quitty aggressively, but Trump said if they didn't sign,
- 53:06Speaker 11: he was going to send over Katie Porter and they
- 53:10Speaker 11: didn't want to tangle with her. If you saw that interview,
- 53:13Speaker 11: she's a fierce fighting force.
- 53:15Speaker 2: Yeah, she's also the one who's doing a podcast and
- 53:17Speaker 2: somebody was in the way, get out of my shot.
- 53:22Speaker 5: But a monster.
- 53:24Speaker 2: To be fair, you work on TV. How many times
- 53:27Speaker 2: through the years have you heard a host yell at
- 53:29Speaker 2: somebody like that?
- 53:30Speaker 11: Although I got to tell you, yeah, the thing is
- 53:34Speaker 11: that the thing is, I know it goes on, But
- 53:37Speaker 11: what you see on her is that is just her vibe.
- 53:40Speaker 11: Like she wasn't yelling because someone was in her shot.
- 53:43Speaker 11: She was yelling because she yells. I know the difference
- 53:46Speaker 11: between the person who's like not happy with the way
- 53:48Speaker 11: things are going and a person who is just not happy.
- 53:53Speaker 2: She kind of has that energy. Yeah, and she's a Democrat.
- 53:58Speaker 2: Will she get out of the race. I guess she
- 53:59Speaker 2: has to now.
- 54:01Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 54:02Speaker 11: The other guy didn't drop out for saying he wants
- 54:04Speaker 11: to kill his opponent. I don't I don't know what
- 54:06Speaker 11: Barr is actually probably not. I mean, I guess her
- 54:10Speaker 11: biggest crime is she didn't say it in the text message.
- 54:13Speaker 5: No, I don't know. I don't know.
- 54:15Speaker 2: It could be. Hey, Jimmy Fayler, were you at the
- 54:18Speaker 2: Yankee game last night?
- 54:20Speaker 5: You better believe us? Oh?
- 54:22Speaker 11: And uh you know what I noticed is Yankee Stadium obviously, Uh,
- 54:26Speaker 11: you know, tough loss.
- 54:27Speaker 5: We wanted to win that game.
- 54:29Speaker 11: And I have formerly called now that Toronto beat US.
- 54:31Speaker 11: I have called Trump and demanded that he invade Canada,
- 54:35Speaker 11: which I think should happen.
- 54:36Speaker 5: Two percent tariffs whatever we got.
- 54:41Speaker 2: But but you kind of could see that coming, couldn't you.
- 54:45Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean this, this, this team has been pretty
- 54:47Speaker 11: inconsistent all year. I mean, but what do you want
- 54:50Speaker 11: for three hundred and twenty million dollars? You know, it's
- 54:52Speaker 11: like maybe if we were giving these guys some money.
- 54:55Speaker 11: You know, it's like these guys got enough stress from
- 54:59Speaker 11: trying to live on those forty million dollar salaries. It's like,
- 55:02Speaker 11: you know, when when's there sat one of the salad days,
- 55:05Speaker 11: going to come in for them for Anthony Fulty and
- 55:08Speaker 11: that supermodel girlfriend.
- 55:10Speaker 2: You know, hey, I was the game was over, but
- 55:13Speaker 2: I didn't know it was over. Like he struck out
- 55:15Speaker 2: the guys. This is that two outset to the crowd
- 55:18Speaker 2: was just silent, There was no What was it like
- 55:20Speaker 2: in the stadium? Did everybody just silently file out?
- 55:23Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 55:24Speaker 11: Well in my section, I was in right field, and
- 55:27Speaker 11: I don't know, I don't know if you know this,
- 55:28Speaker 11: but everyone in right field drinks like they're pledging a fraternity. Okay,
- 55:33Speaker 11: So in in my section, the rest of the stadium
- 55:36Speaker 11: was as you just said, it was like a seance.
- 55:39Speaker 5: Okay.
- 55:40Speaker 11: But my section continued to hurl profanities at the other
- 55:44Speaker 11: players even after they had left. Like if you ever
- 55:47Speaker 11: you ever walk down the street and see a guy
- 55:49Speaker 11: arguing with a parking meter, This guy's out to lunch.
- 55:53Speaker 11: That was section one oh five and Yankee Stadium last night.
- 55:56Speaker 5: They were lunatics crazy.
- 55:58Speaker 11: But the one, the one night thing, he's on the
- 56:00Speaker 11: way out. You know, everybody was in a bad enough
- 56:04Speaker 11: mood that I didn't have to stop and take a
- 56:06Speaker 11: bunch of you know, like fifty pictures. There's a lot
- 56:08Speaker 11: of Fox fans at Yankee Stadium, and everybody is I'm
- 56:12Speaker 11: very friendly. I love, genuinely love meeting people, but I'm
- 56:16Speaker 11: bad at unmeeting them. Meaning if someone comes up there
- 56:18Speaker 11: and says, well, they watch the show. I talked to
- 56:19Speaker 11: them for thirteen minutes. And I get home at two
- 56:21Speaker 11: in the morning and my wife thinks I was in
- 56:23Speaker 11: a gentleman's club or something, and I'm like, no, I
- 56:26Speaker 11: was actually hanging out with a fifty year old man
- 56:27Speaker 11: who was wearing a baseball myth. The complete opposite of
- 56:31Speaker 11: getting women.
- 56:34Speaker 2: You know, when those fans come up to you, you can't stop.
- 56:36Speaker 2: I mean, you could talk and say nice things, but
- 56:38Speaker 2: you got to keep moving. You can't stop or your corner.
- 56:40Speaker 5: Yeah, I know, you got to you gotta learn that.
- 56:43Speaker 11: But listen, I've been I haven't been like a public
- 56:46Speaker 11: figure for as long as you've been a famous.
- 56:47Speaker 5: Person like I watched.
- 56:49Speaker 11: I've watched you get in and out of Fox a
- 56:50Speaker 11: few times. Now, You're good at it. I'm learning and
- 56:53Speaker 11: it helped. I was on the road with Hannity. It
- 56:54Speaker 11: helped too. I think that's why he learned parate, because
- 56:57Speaker 11: you know, he's so tired of getting.
- 56:58Speaker 5: Groped by these old ladies at the book. He just
- 57:00Speaker 5: busts out around out handed.
- 57:02Speaker 2: He's the best at getting out, you know, through the
- 57:04Speaker 2: service entrance, out the loading dock. He was perfect. So
- 57:08Speaker 2: you got to do that. But well, when you're that big,
- 57:10Speaker 2: you got to do that kind of stuff. Yep, Hey,
- 57:14Speaker 2: what AOC. I love that fight AOC had with Stephen
- 57:17Speaker 2: Miller and she said, well, he's only four foot eleven.
- 57:20Speaker 2: What the hell is she talking about?
- 57:22Speaker 5: You know, I laughed about that on Ingram. I tweeted
- 57:25Speaker 5: this too, forgive me. But you know, she.
- 57:27Speaker 11: Said he was four foot ten. He's five foot ten,
- 57:30Speaker 11: so I said, this is actually progress. She was only
- 57:33Speaker 11: off by a foot on his height, where she was
- 57:35Speaker 11: off by forty miles when she.
- 57:37Speaker 5: Said she grew up in the Bronx. That was really
- 57:40Speaker 5: think about that.
- 57:41Speaker 2: That's a pretty big lie about tough kid from the Bronx.
- 57:43Speaker 2: It turns out she's from Yorktown Heights, which is a
- 57:46Speaker 2: beautiful suburb.
- 57:47Speaker 11: A one A gorgeous suburb, a one hundred and fifty
- 57:51Speaker 11: five dollars cab ride from the Bronx. If you were
- 57:54Speaker 11: to leave the Bronx like one hundred and sixty second
- 57:57Speaker 11: in River Avenue by Yankee Stadium and drive to York Heights,
- 58:00Speaker 11: you're gona pay one hundred and.
- 58:01Speaker 5: Fifty five dollars.
- 58:02Speaker 11: Now, if there's if it's if you know surge pricing,
- 58:05Speaker 11: Uber's going to charge your four thy three hundred and
- 58:07Speaker 11: twelve dollars. But uh, a taxi a taxi one fifty five.
- 58:11Speaker 5: So yeah, the enormity of that front. Like, you know,
- 58:14Speaker 5: it's bad.
- 58:14Speaker 11: When Elizabeth Warren's calling you a fraud in your tepe,
- 58:18Speaker 11: that's not good.
- 58:20Speaker 2: Hey, speaking of cab rights, you know this new lift
- 58:22Speaker 2: w it's a new policy where you know, the driver
- 58:25Speaker 2: can see your rating. Now the driver can see your
- 58:27Speaker 2: tipping history to see how you tip. Is that right?
- 58:30Speaker 2: Is that fair?
- 58:31Speaker 5: Uh?
- 58:31Speaker 11: That's well, I could tell you this. I think it's
- 58:35Speaker 11: not accurate because I don't tip on the app. I
- 58:38Speaker 11: give them cash. So it's really interesting. My passenger rating
- 58:42Speaker 11: is five stars because I tip these guys. Like I said,
- 58:45Speaker 11: I have survivor's guilt from being a cab driver, so
- 58:47Speaker 11: I tip, I tip cab drivers to the point that
- 58:50Speaker 11: they think I'm romantically interested in them.
- 58:52Speaker 5: They're like, wow, this is wow. I must have really
- 58:55Speaker 5: hit it off with this Scott.
- 58:56Speaker 11: I'm giving them everything I have though I have a
- 58:58Speaker 11: five star Uber, but what you just said it never
- 59:01Speaker 11: dawned on me.
- 59:02Speaker 5: I've never tipped on the app once.
- 59:03Speaker 11: Oh but they give you a good rating just because
- 59:05Speaker 11: you've tipped cash just the same. So I don't know
- 59:08Speaker 11: if they can accurately do it unless the guys have
- 59:10Speaker 11: to enter, which they probably don't want to enter. That
- 59:13Speaker 11: you might have gave him forty or fifty bucks because
- 59:15Speaker 11: that's more income they got to claim.
- 59:17Speaker 2: Yeah, well, a lot of passengers want this thing overturned.
- 59:20Speaker 2: They don't want this thing to exist. But if it sticks,
- 59:23Speaker 2: you got to figure Uber will do it next too.
- 59:25Speaker 11: So oh yeah, it's the copycat medium just the same.
- 59:30Speaker 2: You got to listen to Jimmy Failey does a great
- 59:31Speaker 2: show every night nine to midnight on WOR. It's excellent.
- 59:35Speaker 2: What would he got on tonight?
- 59:38Speaker 11: So it says a locko And I'm suppose that Ted
- 59:40Speaker 11: NuGen on the MotorCity mad Man.
- 59:42Speaker 5: He's fired up.
- 59:43Speaker 11: He usually plays his guitar and screams at me about America.
- 59:45Speaker 11: It's always fun. We subtitled it in English. At the
- 59:48Speaker 11: end of the interview, it's Ted's rowdy.
- 59:51Speaker 5: I love to talker. He's rowdy.
- 59:53Speaker 11: And we've got a couple of couple of Fox girls
- 59:56Speaker 11: are coming by to have a conversation about this.
- 59:58Speaker 5: Some feminists I just out.
- 1:00:00Speaker 11: They say Taylor Swift is secretly MAGA, which I think
- 1:00:04Speaker 11: is fascinating. But I don't know because she owns a
- 1:00:07Speaker 11: private jet, which is usually what the climate change people do,
- 1:00:11Speaker 11: you know, So she's got mega. She's more John Kerry
- 1:00:15Speaker 11: than anythingure. She's got a private jet, So I don't
- 1:00:17Speaker 11: know if she's Mega, but I'm excited.
- 1:00:18Speaker 5: To have the talk.
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: Well, there are a lot of closet Republicans in music,
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: and there were even a couple of MSNBC hosts who
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: were secretly Republicans. It was all in act, but I
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: believe that. And then Saturday Night you do. It's I
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: love that Saturday Night show. It's every Saturday night at
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: ten o'clock, and it's too early to say what you
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: got this Saturday Night? Right.
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: Ronda Rowsey.
- 1:00:41Speaker 11: Ronda Rowsey, famous WWE legend and MMA fighter and it's
- 1:00:46Speaker 11: funny because her publicist said, don't make fun of her,
- 1:00:48Speaker 11: she'll hit you, and I said, no, it's okay.
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: I'm into that. So hopefully I get Ronda to rough
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: me up on the air. He does.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: It's the best late night show. It's Saturday nights at
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: ten o'clock on the Fox News channel and then you
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: can look here him tonight every weeknight on w R
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: nine to midnight. And you haven't you're adjusting that of
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: doing radio. It's fun, isn't it.
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: Oh? I love it.
- 1:01:11Speaker 11: It's a good hang because we have more time to
- 1:01:12Speaker 11: have this conversation. You know, TV is an assembly line.
- 1:01:16Speaker 11: While I'm talking on TV, there's a picture of the
- 1:01:19Speaker 11: guy coming up next with a story underneath me.
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: That has nothing to do with either of us. There's
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: some promotion on the right side of the screen.
- 1:01:27Speaker 11: TV is just you know, it's a it's a Jackson
- 1:01:30Speaker 11: Pollock painting.
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: These days, it's so busy.
- 1:01:32Speaker 11: Whereas radio we just got to talk like we probably
- 1:01:34Speaker 11: covered seven subjects. Yeah, TV, you get one and you're out.
- 1:01:38Speaker 11: They fire you out with like a water canon, so
- 1:01:40Speaker 11: the next guy can come in.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: Yeah, and you start your answer. That guy in your
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: ears going wrap it up.
- 1:01:46Speaker 12: It's so true, man, I haven't said anything yet.
- 1:01:50Speaker 11: They're like, Jerry Fayler joins us, now rap.
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: Does he mean raps? I'd like beatbox? What does he
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: mean by that? I haven't spoken?
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: Well, everybody listen, you got listen tonight. He does a
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: great shows every night nine to midnight. You can hear
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: tonight nine to midnight on seven to ten W O R.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: Jimmy Fayala, thanks for being with us. You're the man
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: marks Ye take care. Hey, don't forget Buck and Clay.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: They'll be here at noon. They do an excellent show
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: every day right right after us, right after the news
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: at noon on seven to ten WR.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: On sevent ten WR, he's more of the marks Emosha.
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: Hey, so it's like the first day of fall. I
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: mean it was technically a couple of weeks ago, but
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: this is the first chilly day out there. It's a
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: nippy out there in the fifties today. Hey, good for
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: Joe Kiernan CNBC. Boy, they got some horrible people that
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: work on that CNBC. But Joe Kernan, Hakeem Jeffries comes
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: on this morning. You know it's CNBC. Figures this will
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: be easy but Kernin starts giving him a hard time
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: about you know, all you gotta do is sign the
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: seven week extension. Government reopens. You got seven weeks negotiate,
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: plenty of time. Wonn't you just do that? It's just
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: common sense. And it says Jeffries set their stone faced, Well,
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: he always does that. I really seriously wonder is this
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: guy like a robot or something, just very robotic, stonefaced
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: all the time. Hey, we're out of time, don't go away.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: Buck and Clay coming up next. They'll be here right
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: after the news. I'll be back tomorrow every weekday ten
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: to noon, or you could listen anytime you want, day
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: or night. Just get the podcast and you can listen
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: whatever you want. But I'll see you tomorrow at ten
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: right here on seven ten WR
