- 1:24Speaker 1: That was I was about to say if you know what,
- 1:25Speaker 1: it's better that you say it.
- 1:27Speaker 5: Hi.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Do you feel that?
- 1:32Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:32Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I feel the energy. Hope you ready for it. Okay,
- 1:36Speaker 1: So today show's packed clicks. You're gonna win later flash
- 1:40Speaker 1: word plus budget speech today? How does that affect you?
- 1:43Speaker 1: Often with budget speeches, there are a lot of terms
- 1:47Speaker 1: that are gay kip. You don't understand how this affects
- 1:49Speaker 1: you as a consumer, as a taxpayer, as a someone
- 1:52Speaker 1: who gets money in South Africa. And that's what we've
- 1:54Speaker 1: called in the big guns to come and explain it
- 1:56Speaker 1: to us as if we are children. Because that's okay.
- 1:58Speaker 1: I think we need to take our e aside and say, hey,
- 2:01Speaker 1: I don't know what it means when the basis points change,
- 2:05Speaker 1: and that's fine. That's why we bring the experts in
- 2:07Speaker 1: to make sure you know exactly what's up. And if
- 2:09Speaker 1: I just give you a couple of tidbits of the
- 2:11Speaker 1: things that may have been changed. Small businesses something in
- 2:15Speaker 1: it for you, households trying to save something for you
- 2:17Speaker 1: as well, social grand beneficiaries, municipalities that don't perform well,
- 2:21Speaker 1: there's something there. And then bad news for a couple
- 2:23Speaker 1: of those taxpayers and consumers. Urban commuters, smokers, drinkers, municipalities
- 2:29Speaker 1: that misuse revenue, fraudulent social grant recipients, motorists and consumers
- 2:33Speaker 1: rely on transport. I know, but don't worries. Not all
- 2:36Speaker 1: doom and gloom. That is why we've got Stephen kruitis
- 2:39Speaker 1: the one and only to come through out of four
- 2:41Speaker 1: o'clock to explain everything to you so that you understand
- 2:45Speaker 1: and that you are not alarmed, and that you are equipped,
- 2:47Speaker 1: empowered and ready for prosperity, because that's what the show
- 2:51Speaker 1: is about all seven o'clock. It's a flash drive on
- 2:53Speaker 1: KFM ninety four point five. Let's go. It is Aria
- 2:57Speaker 1: Grande in the weekend. Love me harder, Okay, no problem,
- 3:01Speaker 1: I got you back, say less. I can do that
- 3:03Speaker 1: all the way through to seven o'clock. That's right, A
- 3:05Speaker 1: more of a four hour guy, and that's why you
- 3:08Speaker 1: get all the love that you can get. Why is that?
- 3:10Speaker 1: And that wasn't smart? Faces were okay? Good? I am
- 3:14Speaker 1: really because the top forty is also four hours. Yeah,
- 3:16Speaker 1: oh yeah, that's what I meant.
- 3:19Speaker 6: I know.
- 3:20Speaker 1: I hope you had a fantastic day today. Was it
- 3:23Speaker 1: lovely and blossoming and beautiful? It was now while you
- 3:25Speaker 1: were doing the things that you were doing today. Yes, right,
- 3:30Speaker 1: I was finding some things like stats. Now it's not
- 3:34Speaker 1: just Americans delaying the wedding bars new statistics the number
- 3:38Speaker 1: show that South Africans are also taking their time before
- 3:41Speaker 1: tying the knot good news for you. The median age
- 3:44Speaker 1: for first time grooms is now fingers crossed fifty eight
- 3:48Speaker 1: years old and brides thirty four. You got four years. Okay,
- 3:53Speaker 1: you've got four years. This is a clear jump from
- 3:55Speaker 1: a decade ago when people were getting married much earlier.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Experts say people also choosing career education is what a
- 4:01Speaker 1: financial stability. It'll add on to the stats. People are
- 4:04Speaker 1: choosing pets before babies.
- 4:06Speaker 5: I mean it makes sense. I heard something a while
- 4:08Speaker 5: ago that was like, if you want a dog, get
- 4:14Speaker 5: a plant. Yes, you want more pets, shall I say pets,
- 4:17Speaker 5: get a plant. If you want a child, get a pet.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Yes. It's like layers of seeing if you can keep
- 4:22Speaker 1: something alive. I think that's why it's exactly a lot
- 4:25Speaker 1: of people who live on their own and appearance come
- 4:27Speaker 1: over always have a lot of house plants around because
- 4:29Speaker 1: it's good indicated to your parents that you can keep
- 4:31Speaker 1: things alive. Yes, and they'd be like, oh, I love
- 4:33Speaker 1: this delicious monster, but now where's the rby You know
- 4:36Speaker 1: what I'm saying, That's exactly.
- 4:37Speaker 5: And then they go to your fridge and they just
- 4:39Speaker 5: see like old tomato sauce and they're like, oh, when
- 4:42Speaker 5: did you get these plants?
- 4:43Speaker 1: There we go. It's new because then you can say
- 4:46Speaker 1: I'm working on my micology and the better what's mycology,
- 4:49Speaker 1: and you can go into mushrooms and fungus, and then
- 4:52Speaker 1: you can say it's penicillin in my fridge. I'm growing
- 4:54Speaker 1: my own antibiotics exactly. That's that you have to always
- 4:59Speaker 1: telling it. Like off yesterday's chat around that twenty one
- 5:02Speaker 1: year old that said that never gonna work. It's never
- 5:05Speaker 1: gonna work because he didn't choose to be alive. Yeah, yeah,
- 5:08Speaker 1: the parents didn't fit the ball. Well, there we go.
- 5:10Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. It's another connected piece over there.
- 5:14Speaker 1: And then a bar in New York has reinvented itself
- 5:18Speaker 1: as the world's first AI companion cafe. If your soulmate
- 5:21Speaker 1: lives in your phone, this place has a table ready
- 5:24Speaker 1: for your journalist visited and found it surprisingly full. One
- 5:27Speaker 1: woman sat there headphones on having a deep heart to
- 5:31Speaker 1: heart with Simone, her twenty six year old AI date
- 5:34Speaker 1: on a screen. The Cafe says it is modern romance.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Critics say it's speed dating the software updates. Either way,
- 5:40Speaker 1: Love in twenty twenty six is looking a little bit different.
- 5:42Speaker 1: And this comes from a guy who watched a bit
- 5:44Speaker 1: of The Matrix last night. It was on TV. Love
- 5:47Speaker 1: is there all the way there, That's what I'm talking about.
- 5:50Speaker 1: It's crazy. I feel rage baits, No, don't don't worry.
- 5:54Speaker 1: This is where things are going, and they're going there fast.
- 5:57Speaker 6: Really.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 5:58Speaker 6: What was that movie with Will Smith? I Robots?
- 6:01Speaker 1: That's the one. Ah, yep, it's happening soon, sooner rather
- 6:05Speaker 1: than later. And another thing that's doing the rounds and
- 6:08Speaker 1: not you we've seen it, I'm sure you have. Is
- 6:10Speaker 1: uh well do you hear about that that woman that
- 6:13Speaker 1: has a hack to wash her underwear and the kettle
- 6:16Speaker 1: in the hotel room?
- 6:17Speaker 5: You know so that the immediately said don't show me
- 6:20Speaker 5: more of this content?
- 6:21Speaker 1: Yeah? That does it not make you feel a bit
- 6:23Speaker 1: uncomfortable of booking your next hotel stairs? You know what
- 6:26Speaker 1: I mean?
- 6:27Speaker 6: I miss who I was before I watched that video.
- 6:30Speaker 1: It was a good time, right to be alive. That
- 6:33Speaker 1: silver kettle. Now I picture in most of the hotel rooms,
- 6:36Speaker 1: just imagine. But now I'm looking at the other amenities
- 6:40Speaker 1: of a hotel and I'm worried about everything I touch now,
- 6:43Speaker 1: So apparently a lot of hotels have responded, one of
- 6:45Speaker 1: which is to actually like sue the lady yes, And
- 6:48Speaker 1: then the other one. The other one is like a
- 6:50Speaker 1: lot of hotels and I remove the kettles completely. But
- 6:52Speaker 1: the only problem is when you have a coffee machine
- 6:54Speaker 1: in the hotel room. Remember the coffee machine still has
- 6:56Speaker 1: a little water canister at the back of It's one
- 6:58Speaker 1: of those espresso one. I I also now worry about
- 7:01Speaker 1: that water. That whole video it made me worry about
- 7:03Speaker 1: any water source now when I'm going to go book,
- 7:05Speaker 1: because how unhinged. Like you know what, if you want
- 7:08Speaker 1: to make the most of your underwear, hoy it and
- 7:10Speaker 1: the kettle, give it a quick boil and then give
- 7:12Speaker 1: it a dry and then you get to go.
- 7:14Speaker 5: Hear me out, hear me out. I'm about to say
- 7:16Speaker 5: something controversial, go for it. Bring back a little bit
- 7:19Speaker 5: of shame, like that's why bring back shame? Like I
- 7:27Speaker 5: ever think of washing my fail underwear in a coffee
- 7:31Speaker 5: machine quick fast, you know what I mean?
- 7:35Speaker 1: I will yeah, so yeah, that that was just that
- 7:38Speaker 1: flung onto my timeline very quickly, and I was I
- 7:40Speaker 1: was very worried when I saw it the first time.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I thought I'd just just run that by gee was
- 7:45Speaker 1: it is. It's a it's a crazy time to be alive,
- 7:48Speaker 1: it really is. However, to take nothing away, I've been
- 7:51Speaker 1: to great hotels and this kettle looks nice and clean.
- 7:54Speaker 1: It's going to be fine, so so still book your
- 7:57Speaker 1: hotel stay because it's a very key part of our tourism.
- 7:59Speaker 1: In this happens overseas. It doesn't happen yet exactly.
- 8:03Speaker 6: Just ask them on the phone. How new the coffee machine?
- 8:07Speaker 1: Yeah, if you know South Africans, we do it the
- 8:09Speaker 1: old school way. We go straight to the basin, We
- 8:11Speaker 1: take a soap bar. If there's no sunlight, soap, we wash, wash, wash,
- 8:15Speaker 1: and then we wouldn't hang it anywhere else but outside
- 8:17Speaker 1: on the balcony because that's what we do. Yes, So
- 8:19Speaker 1: you're safe, don't worry about that over here in South Africa.
- 8:23Speaker 1: That's a couple of stories. While you're having coffee and
- 8:25Speaker 1: doing a thing today and working very hard. I got
- 8:27Speaker 1: your back on that. A couple of things that flung
- 8:29Speaker 1: over to my timeline. Now this is I want to
- 8:31Speaker 1: put on your desk. Is a chance to win with clicks.
- 8:33Speaker 1: There's a club card cash back for you. Two and
- 8:35Speaker 1: a half thousand bucks is its value. I need you
- 8:37Speaker 1: to tell me how a club card cash back saved
- 8:40Speaker 1: your button at the toll. Clicks is the key word.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Zero two nine four five zero nine four zero is
- 8:44Speaker 1: the number, and I need your name an ID number
- 8:47Speaker 1: and you could win with clicks. Feel good? Pay less
- 8:49Speaker 1: on KFL ninety four point five. Do you remember that
- 8:51Speaker 1: te's and c's apply now for the tea?
- 8:54Speaker 5: As In traffic, well, it's a good thing that our
- 8:58Speaker 5: roads aren't looking too crazy today, Carl. There's only some
- 9:01Speaker 5: congestion on the N one inbound at the ramp to
- 9:04Speaker 5: the M five southbound. There's a stationary truck on the
- 9:07Speaker 5: END one outbound in Huguenot Tunnel. Please expect delays over there.
- 9:10Speaker 5: And Chapman's Peak Drive is closed until four pm today
- 9:13Speaker 5: for alien vegetation clearing. Lastly, in Parkland's at Sandown, Parkland's
- 9:17Speaker 5: main road, there's some traffic lights that are faulty over there,
- 9:19Speaker 5: and if you're headed out of the CVD, it will
- 9:22Speaker 5: take you forty minutes to table View, forty five to Constantia,
- 9:25Speaker 5: forty five to Bulbul, fifty five to Mitchell's plane, one
- 9:29Speaker 5: hour to Sumrset West and one hour ten minutes to Stellenbosch.
- 9:33Speaker 5: My name is Cassidy Nicholson. If you have any traffic
- 9:35Speaker 5: updates for me? Just what's up?
- 9:37Speaker 6: Eight two nine four five zero nine four zero.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Do you want to listen to a couple of responses blind?
- 9:43Speaker 1: I'm not sure what these people are going to say,
- 9:44Speaker 1: but I'm know what let's go. I'm just gonna click
- 9:47Speaker 1: and see what happens. This is on the back of
- 9:49Speaker 1: that story around the boiling and the underwear and the
- 9:51Speaker 1: kettle things.
- 9:52Speaker 6: Is this what my mommy means when she said Cosco Wow,
- 9:59Speaker 6: I'm going to say, yeah, no man.
- 10:02Speaker 7: Hi car, guys, I have a guest us in said
- 10:06Speaker 7: should and I once had a guest boiling her courage.
- 10:12Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 10:13Speaker 7: I didn't want to look at was either oats or
- 10:15Speaker 7: millip up.
- 10:16Speaker 1: In the kettle. Oh so she cooked it in the kettle.
- 10:21Speaker 8: I'm gonna be all that to get rid of the kettle.
- 10:23Speaker 6: But no, people do strange things. Believe me.
- 10:25Speaker 7: I've seen strange things in my gast us, like guests
- 10:29Speaker 7: checking in and coming back, like to collect his wedding
- 10:32Speaker 7: band from underneath the bed.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Yeah, now, white white, white, white white. How can you
- 10:41Speaker 1: just drop the tea bag into an empty cup? We
- 10:43Speaker 1: need to put hot water.
- 10:44Speaker 6: On it, exactly, it's piping hot what.
- 10:49Speaker 1: No, no, you don't. Don't let us go on this
- 10:52Speaker 1: tangent now of these things that that will be good.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I need to get you know what later, We need
- 10:58Speaker 1: to get right now on. I'm so sorry. Yeah, you
- 11:00Speaker 1: need to investigate these crazy things that people have done
- 11:04Speaker 1: in these hotel rooms and guest houses. No men, no, no, yoh,
- 11:11Speaker 1: there's tea there that I need to draw.
- 11:13Speaker 9: The people that come here as foreigners, they're the ones.
- 11:15Speaker 6: That use our kittles.
- 11:18Speaker 9: It's the hotels that's so from what the South Africans
- 11:22Speaker 9: visiting their countries.
- 11:24Speaker 6: You you make a valid point in that case, just
- 11:28Speaker 6: order order a coffee or something that.
- 11:30Speaker 1: You would order that underwear the coffee.
- 11:33Speaker 6: I just wanted to check order a coffee, all right,
- 11:35Speaker 6: support local businesses.
- 11:37Speaker 1: I'll tell you what later. About twenty to four. I
- 11:39Speaker 1: suppose if you do run a little guest house, so
- 11:41Speaker 1: maybe you know or you work in a hotel, and
- 11:43Speaker 1: then you want to share if it can get any
- 11:45Speaker 1: worse than boiling underwear in a kettle, I would love
- 11:49Speaker 1: to know. Do tell please? It's vocals from the Locals
- 11:53Speaker 1: panorama from Monarch on your show This is Your flash
- 11:56Speaker 1: Drive on KFM ninety four point five. Now, before I
- 12:00Speaker 1: gave you an opportunity to win with clicks earlier, what
- 12:03Speaker 1: I did was just I fall into the story. And
- 12:06Speaker 1: it's been all over my timeline. There's been some recourse
- 12:08Speaker 1: about the woman that has a hack for hotel rooms
- 12:11Speaker 1: and what she does that she uses the coffee machine
- 12:14Speaker 1: to wash and nickers. I have to say that in
- 12:16Speaker 1: the most euphemism laden ways.
- 12:18Speaker 5: It's because the boiling water obviously cleans the underwear and
- 12:22Speaker 5: then you use the hair dryer to dry them and
- 12:24Speaker 5: then boom boom bam, thank you ma'am.
- 12:27Speaker 1: So that's the thing, And I mean, like, can I
- 12:29Speaker 1: get any worse than that? Then we got the story
- 12:32Speaker 1: from a Ronaldo was on the whitesapp line who has
- 12:35Speaker 1: a lovely spot out you know, I think it was Hopefield,
- 12:38Speaker 1: but I think we'll chat to her later. Okay, So,
- 12:40Speaker 1: now here's the thing, man, here's the thing.
- 12:43Speaker 8: Is it?
- 12:44Speaker 2: That is it?
- 12:45Speaker 1: Can it get worse than that than having your orny
- 12:48Speaker 1: in a kettle? Can it get worse? I think there's
- 12:50Speaker 1: the question. Could Well, let's find out. Anonymous number one,
- 12:58Speaker 1: Welcome to the flash. Oh gosh, liquormn So we've heard
- 13:05Speaker 1: a story about someone washing their undergarments in a kettle
- 13:10Speaker 1: in a hotel room as an act and then posting
- 13:12Speaker 1: it up all over the interweaves. But can I get
- 13:13Speaker 1: any worse than NATSA?
- 13:16Speaker 5: Well?
- 13:17Speaker 10: Probably I've got two stories I could share with you,
- 13:20Speaker 10: please do. I used to work in the hospitality industry,
- 13:25Speaker 10: and so one one instance. Okay. Firstly, they offer a
- 13:31Speaker 10: their use room where you can pay for you know,
- 13:34Speaker 10: just using a room for a couple of hours.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Zoom zoom, calls, teams calls.
- 13:42Speaker 10: Yes, yes, so like you're ginning pit for you know,
- 13:45Speaker 10: business meeting on the other side of town, so you
- 13:47Speaker 10: can use that or whatever hours. Yeah, although sometimes they
- 13:54Speaker 10: are used for other activities.
- 13:57Speaker 6: Getting ready for other meetings.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Oh they are, Oh okay, So.
- 14:04Speaker 10: The first thing they used rooms My first story is yes,
- 14:10Speaker 10: I was working on a hotel industry and I was
- 14:13Speaker 10: on my way up to one of the floors, opened
- 14:15Speaker 10: the lift and an uncle popped out of the lift
- 14:19Speaker 10: with someone that was not a auntie. I was not
- 14:24Speaker 10: mount So yeah, not blood relative, but you know, a
- 14:27Speaker 10: good old family friend. Did you kind of grew up
- 14:30Speaker 10: with one of those uncles?
- 14:31Speaker 1: So perhaps your uncle was involved in a mentorship program.
- 14:35Speaker 10: Yes, uh yeah, with someone from the opposite six of them.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Okay, your mentors come in all shapes and sizes that
- 14:43Speaker 1: they do.
- 14:45Speaker 10: So yeah, he was really surprised to see me and
- 14:47Speaker 10: then me not thinking anything of it.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Yes.
- 14:50Speaker 10: Coincidentally got picked up that day from worked by said
- 14:54Speaker 10: auntie and I mentioned to say, oh I saw uncle
- 14:58Speaker 10: so in the you know out and she looked shocked,
- 15:01Speaker 10: and she's like, oh, okay, I never seen anything about it. Yes,
- 15:05Speaker 10: I had to find out late on down the line. Yeah,
- 15:09Speaker 10: there was an activity.
- 15:10Speaker 1: It was a mentor mentor mentee activity. I understand day
- 15:18Speaker 1: use rooms. Okay, what's what's the other story, shay Man.
- 15:21Speaker 1: That's like, that's that's you see. I'm gonna tell you now.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Is it's a very very small place there. You you
- 15:31Speaker 1: can't go and offer a day use. They will fund you.
- 15:35Speaker 1: I'm just getting it right. Second story.
- 15:38Speaker 10: The second story is at a different property. I was
- 15:41Speaker 10: working and that to do you know the turndown service
- 15:45Speaker 10: when housekeeping leaves little choppers on your pillow. Yes, another
- 15:51Speaker 10: room was also used as a day use room. So
- 15:53Speaker 10: when cleaning up that room, I found a brick like
- 15:59Speaker 10: object repped in brown tilo tape, brown tape, and when
- 16:04Speaker 10: I opened it, it was an illegal powdered substance.
- 16:10Speaker 1: That's that's more. That's not a turn down service, that's it.
- 16:14Speaker 10: No, that was someone that was something that was left
- 16:17Speaker 10: behind by the day use occupant.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Yes, and yeah, but it gets bad, it gets bad
- 16:24Speaker 1: out there. Are you still in the hospitality industry?
- 16:27Speaker 11: No?
- 16:27Speaker 1: Not okay, because I was about to advise you against
- 16:30Speaker 1: going to these properties that have day use rooms. You
- 16:32Speaker 1: have you're having bad lucks with I think. But I'm
- 16:36Speaker 1: glad so you moved out of that industry and you
- 16:37Speaker 1: in a different industry. Now, yes, okay, lovely, So it
- 16:41Speaker 1: can get worse. I mean I'm hearing things that I
- 16:44Speaker 1: supposed to speak to al chapel and other things that
- 16:47Speaker 1: speak to mentorships. Synonymous number two. Can it get worse
- 16:50Speaker 1: than that. That's the question. Anonymous number two. Hello, hi, Hi,
- 16:57Speaker 1: Yes there you are all right? So you heard that story?
- 17:02Speaker 1: Yeah it sounded it sounds like Netflix anyway, Yes, yeah.
- 17:06Speaker 9: Yes, I want my own A, B and B, and
- 17:10Speaker 9: I can vouch the drama where that kettle story. It
- 17:16Speaker 9: goes further. If the dry is not three or it's
- 17:19Speaker 9: that slow ones with a fat nozzles, they're going to
- 17:22Speaker 9: put it well in the AB and B. You know
- 17:24Speaker 9: that's flat toaster. Yes, do they have a nice skinny
- 17:28Speaker 9: G string that's not needing much area to dry? They're
- 17:33Speaker 9: gonna put that flat in the toaster. No, in your
- 17:36Speaker 9: bread in the A, B and B that they has,
- 17:38Speaker 9: that's flat toasters, not a toaster that you press down
- 17:41Speaker 9: for the two slices of bread, the one that you
- 17:43Speaker 9: made the toasties the mouths in. They're gonna they put
- 17:46Speaker 9: the panties in there to dry.
- 17:48Speaker 1: No, they put they put a G string and a
- 17:50Speaker 1: George foreman what not.
- 17:51Speaker 9: The George forman kettle to the toaster.
- 17:57Speaker 6: And this is why you don't.
- 18:02Speaker 3: You don't.
- 18:02Speaker 9: That's all laundry activity in the kitchen, from the kettle
- 18:06Speaker 9: to the soster is from the washing machine to that dryer.
- 18:10Speaker 9: And then the other thing was he was the fruitful,
- 18:13Speaker 9: so you know, complimentary snacks and what you have. So
- 18:16Speaker 9: instead of them enjoying my fruits, they decided to have
- 18:19Speaker 9: a party. They only move all my complimentary snacks and
- 18:23Speaker 9: have different flavors of the condoms, so they didn't like
- 18:25Speaker 9: my fruits. Today obviously had the evening of the guava
- 18:29Speaker 9: and banana, and there was none of my complimentary to eaven.
- 18:35Speaker 9: There was nothing but a lot about. Then the next
- 18:40Speaker 9: day I get there and I mean the people don't
- 18:42Speaker 9: even naughty condoms anymore. It's just left Maurish like every
- 18:46Speaker 9: one Martisier three range three range.
- 18:51Speaker 8: Yes.
- 18:55Speaker 9: So that was number two and number three weeks when
- 18:58Speaker 9: I needed to turn up a room. Anybody who knows
- 19:01Speaker 9: me knows that I'm big on romance. I go all
- 19:04Speaker 9: out of the skies coming from I don't know he
- 19:07Speaker 9: was from another province, but I went all out.
- 19:09Speaker 1: You know.
- 19:09Speaker 9: He said they're going to be exhausted and they just
- 19:11Speaker 9: need an romantic stature. Winds all out with all the
- 19:16Speaker 9: scent and everything. Eh, only for him to leave a
- 19:20Speaker 9: day later, and I'm very PARANOI I'm like, what wasn't
- 19:22Speaker 9: like you know, wasn't the service was something not in order,
- 19:25Speaker 9: but the uncomfortable. So I told you when I was like, hey,
- 19:28Speaker 9: I'll meet you at the property to collect the key.
- 19:30Speaker 9: But was there anything you were unhappy about? And he
- 19:32Speaker 9: said no, no, no, everything was fine. It's just that
- 19:34Speaker 9: my wife said the alarm went off. I just need
- 19:37Speaker 9: to head back. She's feeling unsafe. Was just turned down
- 19:43Speaker 9: for they are those are my my stories.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I feel like I feel like you have
- 19:50Speaker 1: more but really need a whole show for us. Do
- 19:53Speaker 1: you still have the AIRB and me yes, I do
- 19:56Speaker 1: so with.
- 19:56Speaker 8: Your heir if you have.
- 19:59Speaker 9: Like you know a week so somebody gave me a
- 20:02Speaker 9: three four amenities and and you had a flat time.
- 20:04Speaker 9: But they had a head dryer that I used the
- 20:08Speaker 9: sheet with the with my eyes to iron clothing to
- 20:12Speaker 9: do the weed.
- 20:13Speaker 8: For certain thing you know ABNB.
- 20:19Speaker 9: Thank you for the comments. I've been taught for EBNB.
- 20:22Speaker 9: Out of the flat I'm going for Wow. Thanks you
- 20:25Speaker 9: have a wonderful day. Keep the show going and you
- 20:28Speaker 9: go amazing.
- 20:29Speaker 1: I can't wait to visit your abn B. It sounds
- 20:32Speaker 1: like a good time. Honestly, it is. She your Renal.
- 20:37Speaker 1: You started this, You started this whole conversation. It's all
- 20:41Speaker 1: you because we've been waiting for this when you told
- 20:43Speaker 1: us about that little spot you have out in Hopefield
- 20:45Speaker 1: and someone went back to fetch their wedding band. Hello,
- 20:49Speaker 1: Yore Renal, Welcome. Hi. You're hearing all of these things,
- 20:56Speaker 1: but you don't even sound in the least shocked, which
- 20:59Speaker 1: means you've been revy to a lot of these.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Right.
- 21:04Speaker 8: Well, I've been in the business for twenty things clears,
- 21:06Speaker 8: and it's it's been sege.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Field, get stagefield.
- 21:09Speaker 8: Okay, So yeah, I can write a book, you know,
- 21:13Speaker 8: I can write a book about what has it?
- 21:16Speaker 5: Has it?
- 21:16Speaker 2: You know?
- 21:16Speaker 8: Has happened there? I mean, are we still speaking to
- 21:18Speaker 8: grow stuff or you want to hear the good stuff?
- 21:21Speaker 1: Wow? Okay, So when you said good I think when
- 21:24Speaker 1: you say, I'll tell you what I know. You have
- 21:26Speaker 1: a selection of stories, but maybe just pick your best
- 21:29Speaker 1: that you believe would top all of these, because we've
- 21:31Speaker 1: had strange turn up, turned down weaves being ironed in
- 21:36Speaker 1: a sheet with a with an actual iron, Like there's
- 21:38Speaker 1: there's crazy things that have come out of these calls
- 21:40Speaker 1: that you've heard. Is there one to top them all, well.
- 21:45Speaker 8: The one to top them all is is not a
- 21:48Speaker 8: nice story. I mean, it's a certain certain group of
- 21:50Speaker 8: people that once I've stayed in your place, you can
- 21:53Speaker 8: actually throw the cold water bottle from the fridge away.
- 21:57Speaker 8: And I still don't know why, because my goals. Whenever
- 22:00Speaker 8: these people used to stay at the lodge, they said
- 22:02Speaker 8: to me in my throat, dibottue, if you please tell
- 22:05Speaker 8: me why m fels coming.
- 22:07Speaker 10: From bottle.
- 22:11Speaker 9: Bottle And I still don't know why.
- 22:16Speaker 8: If somebody can tell me why, no, no, I'd like
- 22:19Speaker 8: to know.
- 22:21Speaker 5: No.
- 22:21Speaker 8: And then the other thing is a face class. I
- 22:23Speaker 8: don't do five class because face class people use space
- 22:27Speaker 8: class for strange things. So I've never put face class
- 22:30Speaker 8: in my in my units. I don't use spice cloth
- 22:33Speaker 8: in hotels. That is something that is also just a
- 22:37Speaker 8: no no, no, no, no, no, no no no.
- 22:39Speaker 1: I agree with face class. No, that's a no no
- 22:41Speaker 1: for me as well, in any place that you don't.
- 22:43Speaker 8: Then the wedding bands that happened twice where people use
- 22:47Speaker 8: their room supposedly booking for the night, but but ten
- 22:49Speaker 8: eleven o'clock they book out, and then the next morning
- 22:51Speaker 8: they come back and say sure, I actually just need
- 22:55Speaker 8: to quickly quickly grab something out of the room and
- 22:57Speaker 8: then I go in there with them, and then it's
- 22:58Speaker 8: the wedding band that's I'm under the mattress or under
- 23:01Speaker 8: the pillow, under the bed. So yeah, wow, I've had
- 23:06Speaker 8: somebody arrested and I had an old mishine that that
- 23:09Speaker 8: booked in an hour light. I got the call you
- 23:12Speaker 8: must come and identify this person because his wife said,
- 23:14Speaker 8: that's staying at your at your guest house. He drowned
- 23:17Speaker 8: in the lagoon an hour after he actually checked in.
- 23:20Speaker 8: So yeah, it's been fun and games, but you can't
- 23:23Speaker 8: you can't eat anything slip by me lightly. I did
- 23:26Speaker 8: now alectrics in the book.
- 23:28Speaker 1: I can Yeah, sorry, like just you you tracked through
- 23:32Speaker 1: by the way. Once again, I do believe Nettflix needs
- 23:36Speaker 1: to call and and and and get you involved. Just
- 23:40Speaker 1: these are the days of our guest houses. I feel
- 23:43Speaker 1: like you will have material for like several seasons and
- 23:46Speaker 1: then you can get people to like re enact, and
- 23:49Speaker 1: I think this is what we're okay. Now, thank you
- 23:54Speaker 1: for sharing. I honestly thought it got really bad. I thought, like,
- 23:57Speaker 1: you know, washing your onny in a kettle, But now
- 23:59Speaker 1: I've been proven wrong. Thank you so much for sharing.
- 24:02Speaker 9: I do believe.
- 24:03Speaker 8: I do believe a lot has happened. Micall's are too
- 24:06Speaker 8: embarrassed to tell me that of other clean or market disappear.
- 24:09Speaker 3: You know, they have a lot of respect for.
- 24:11Speaker 8: Us and what we do for them, and they just
- 24:13Speaker 8: keep quiet about it.
- 24:15Speaker 1: And that's actually that's a that's a level of professionalism
- 24:20Speaker 1: that I think you can be very proud of you
- 24:22Speaker 1: with your with your staff members. I know that you
- 24:24Speaker 1: know you can't control every guest, you can't control their actions.
- 24:27Speaker 1: All you can do is create a facilitate an experience
- 24:30Speaker 1: and be great at hospitable. You know, that's all you
- 24:32Speaker 1: can do. Renal but all the best, and hopefully we'll
- 24:35Speaker 1: come and visit your your sege field spot. What is
- 24:38Speaker 1: it called? If you don't mind me asking.
- 24:40Speaker 8: It's my only beach. You know it's so well because
- 24:43Speaker 8: I was one on your finelone.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, okay, well there we go. We are going
- 24:49Speaker 1: to come and visit you and look for wedding bands.
- 24:51Speaker 8: You have to you have to fast got a free
- 24:55Speaker 8: in Brandon's got a free I even had the four
- 25:00Speaker 8: what's his name? He's your artist offers you guys your
- 25:06Speaker 8: outdoor broadcasts. He's even sided the logic couple of weekends
- 25:09Speaker 8: ago okay with beautiful wife.
- 25:12Speaker 1: I love this. This is very good to you. No no, no,
- 25:15Speaker 1: no podcast from you know what, it's on our list.
- 25:19Speaker 1: You never know what's going to happen there. Clearly this
- 25:21Speaker 1: is your flash drive on KFM ninety four point five
- 25:25Speaker 1: The Days of Our flash Drive, Britney spears. What a
- 25:39Speaker 1: song to play ahead of a chat with somebody who
- 25:42Speaker 1: I revere, somebody who I know for a fact can
- 25:45Speaker 1: break down a budget speech for anybody if you do
- 25:47Speaker 1: not know finance, this man is the one to go to.
- 25:50Speaker 1: And I mean I don't know a lot about him.
- 25:52Speaker 1: All I know is that he's the presenter of The
- 25:53Speaker 1: Money Show and seven o two and KPE Talk as
- 25:55Speaker 1: well as an anchored News from Africa channel four zero
- 25:58Speaker 1: five Daily Maverick associate editor as well. Not to mention,
- 26:00Speaker 1: he does another thing called after the Bowler right on.
- 26:03Speaker 1: That's a politics, politics explainer, a financial mentor as well,
- 26:08Speaker 1: a speaker, an MC and overall phenomenal individual rumor hazard. Yes,
- 26:14Speaker 1: you know the song.
- 26:15Speaker 6: I'm looking for a guy in finance.
- 26:17Speaker 1: That's correct. It was actually written for him based on him. Yes,
- 26:20Speaker 1: it makes sense.
- 26:21Speaker 11: Do you know.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Another rumor is that they say that the g in
- 26:24Speaker 1: chat Gipt is crotus.
- 26:26Speaker 4: That's the best I've ever heard. That's the best I've
- 26:30Speaker 4: ever heard, and I've heard a lot.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Stevie throut. This is year. Welcome and thanks so much
- 26:36Speaker 1: for your time. I know this is one of the
- 26:37Speaker 1: busiest days of the year for you, above and beyond
- 26:39Speaker 1: State of the Nation, So thank you very much for
- 26:41Speaker 1: taking the time. I called you over here because you're
- 26:43Speaker 1: the only person who can make sense of a budget
- 26:45Speaker 1: speech that is filled with jargon. For those who do
- 26:47Speaker 1: not know finances, we need your help over here. Essentially,
- 26:50Speaker 1: for any consumer who has any interest in what a
- 26:53Speaker 1: budget speech means. We need to find out what are
- 26:55Speaker 1: we paying more for and where do we save? And
- 26:58Speaker 1: also are we going to get any value for money.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Let's start off with what are we paying more for?
- 27:02Speaker 4: You're going to pay more for things like booze, particularly spirits.
- 27:06Speaker 4: You're going to pay more for tobacco, You're going to
- 27:08Speaker 4: pay more for beer, You're going to pay a little
- 27:09Speaker 4: bit more for fuel. But all of these increases are
- 27:13Speaker 4: only in line with inflation, they could have been much worse.
- 27:15Speaker 4: So what the minister is doing is he's got a
- 27:17Speaker 4: bit more money to play with than he thought last year.
- 27:20Speaker 4: This time last year, we were talking about a twenty
- 27:22Speaker 4: billion shortfall. I don't know about you, but the last
- 27:25Speaker 4: time I lost twenty billion was a tough day.
- 27:27Speaker 6: And so it's.
- 27:30Speaker 4: Yeah, that's just there, and so we were going to
- 27:34Speaker 4: have to increase that to do that. None of that
- 27:36Speaker 4: talk now. So because we've been selling so much gold,
- 27:39Speaker 4: we've been getting so much more money for it. Thank
- 27:41Speaker 4: you Donald Trump for making the world so uncertain. Everybody
- 27:43Speaker 4: wants to buy our gold, and as a result of that,
- 27:46Speaker 4: we're getting a lot more money into the system. The
- 27:48Speaker 4: economy is also picked up slightly.
- 27:50Speaker 1: That helps.
- 27:51Speaker 4: So all of these things are happening, and what that
- 27:53Speaker 4: means is that instead of putting up the fuel levy
- 27:56Speaker 4: by say twenty percent or fifteen percent, it's only gone
- 27:58Speaker 4: up by inflation. The same for all the excise taxes.
- 28:01Speaker 4: These are the things on cigarettes and cigarettes and alcohol,
- 28:05Speaker 4: so they go up by inflation. Then you can have
- 28:07Speaker 4: a bit more money to pay all for all of
- 28:09Speaker 4: this with. Because we've had a problem called bracket creep
- 28:12Speaker 4: which really is the world's worst children's story. But bracket
- 28:16Speaker 4: creep is when you might find that you suddenly pay
- 28:20Speaker 4: more tax even though you haven't actually received an increase.
- 28:23Speaker 4: And that's because the brackets don't move for inflation. So
- 28:25Speaker 4: you get a salary increase, your real wages haven't changed.
- 28:29Speaker 4: You're still, you know, having just one coffee on a Monday,
- 28:32Speaker 4: but you end up paying more tax. So he's moved
- 28:34Speaker 4: the brackets for the first time in a while, and
- 28:37Speaker 4: that means that you should.
- 28:39Speaker 1: It'll take a little while, but it.
- 28:41Speaker 4: Means that there won't be any increase in tax if
- 28:43Speaker 4: your salary stays roughly the same or in line with inflation.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Let's just pause on that for a second, because we
- 28:48Speaker 1: chatted about bracket creep before and there was a worry
- 28:51Speaker 1: that if you are on the clusp of an increase
- 28:53Speaker 1: right now and it may just shift you into bracket,
- 28:56Speaker 1: do you say no to your boss?
- 28:57Speaker 4: I wouldn't for lots of reasons. One, it shows a
- 28:59Speaker 4: lack of ambition, and sometimes you just have to manage
- 29:02Speaker 4: these things. But no, so obviously it depends it can.
- 29:07Speaker 4: It shouldn't leave you in a situation when you are
- 29:09Speaker 4: a worse off. If you are, you kind of need
- 29:12Speaker 4: to structure it a little bit. There's not as much
- 29:14Speaker 4: leeway to structure your salary as there used to be,
- 29:17Speaker 4: you know, with bonuses and things. But you should probably
- 29:20Speaker 4: just work out the tax table. It's not that hard.
- 29:22Speaker 4: There'll be stuff on the National Treasury website and lots
- 29:24Speaker 4: of other places to do it.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Okay, great stuff. Now we look at the the other places,
- 29:30Speaker 1: let's just say where we would probably benefit. I think
- 29:33Speaker 1: let's just go into that a little bit more if
- 29:35Speaker 1: you don't mind. What benefits have you seen in the
- 29:37Speaker 1: budget speech for us as consumers?
- 29:39Speaker 4: So they're one or two other things that are going
- 29:41Speaker 4: to impact certain parts of the economy and not quite deliberate.
- 29:45Speaker 4: If you run a small business, at the moment, the
- 29:47Speaker 4: threshold for you to not be registered for that was
- 29:50Speaker 4: only a million rand. It's been a million rand I
- 29:52Speaker 4: think for about twelve years now. Twelve years ago a
- 29:55Speaker 4: million round was you know money. Now it's just a
- 29:57Speaker 4: million rund yes, And so they've changed that. They actually
- 30:01Speaker 4: they said they've got a request to move it to
- 30:02Speaker 4: two million. They moved it to two point three, which
- 30:05Speaker 4: is in It's unlike a finance minister to give you
- 30:07Speaker 4: more than you ask for. And I think the reason
- 30:10Speaker 4: they've done that is that they've wanted to keep the
- 30:12Speaker 4: whole thing in line with inflation, which is where it
- 30:14Speaker 4: should have been all along. They should have been moving
- 30:16Speaker 4: it every year, and I think they'll probably do that.
- 30:18Speaker 4: If you're a small business owner, suddenly life's a lot
- 30:21Speaker 4: easier for you. There are lots of things you don't
- 30:23Speaker 4: have to do. I must just say though, yes, And
- 30:25Speaker 4: it's important to remember this. Eighty percent of businesses and
- 30:28Speaker 4: townships aren't registered at all, right because and the reason
- 30:32Speaker 4: they don't register is there's nothing in it for them.
- 30:34Speaker 12: You know that.
- 30:34Speaker 1: I mean, why what do you get?
- 30:36Speaker 4: You get nothing? And that's true, you get nothing. So
- 30:39Speaker 4: so it doesn't really affect them very much unless they
- 30:41Speaker 4: sort of saus has been getting them in other ways,
- 30:43Speaker 4: which can happen. But it does make a big increase,
- 30:46Speaker 4: a big difference. And the other thing, and this is important,
- 30:50Speaker 4: is that they're going to have are they going to
- 30:54Speaker 4: put the councils on a title leash, So there's a
- 30:56Speaker 4: lot of money that goes from national government to councils.
- 30:59Speaker 4: Now I realized that in Cape Town Council revenues a
- 31:02Speaker 4: little bit of an issue. But in Joe Brick and
- 31:06Speaker 4: other places where people have been misspending money and the
- 31:08Speaker 4: accusation is that the money is stolen or not spent.
- 31:11Speaker 4: There many counsels it's not spent. They're going to say,
- 31:15Speaker 4: if you want this money, we're going to watch over
- 31:17Speaker 4: you a little more closely. Now, that's a good thing,
- 31:20Speaker 4: but we have heard this kind of thing before, and
- 31:23Speaker 4: we'll speak to the Treasurer, the Director General and the
- 31:26Speaker 4: Treasurer Duncan Peter So later and ask him if they
- 31:29Speaker 4: expect a different result this time. There is some reason
- 31:33Speaker 4: to think maybe there are lots of reasons to think, nah,
- 31:37Speaker 4: this is just another try. But as far as the
- 31:39Speaker 4: Finance Minister, I would be doing the same thing.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Tax free savings. I'm hearing that big increase.
- 31:45Speaker 4: It's moved up a little bit now, yes, And the
- 31:48Speaker 4: whole point is to encourage people to save. And it's
- 31:51Speaker 4: interesting because for years, as long as I've been alive,
- 31:54Speaker 4: I've been told that South Africans don't save. Now, there
- 31:57Speaker 4: are reasons for that, and that's because life is so
- 31:59Speaker 4: hard for ninety percent of people, you know, just getting
- 32:02Speaker 4: your child to and from school every day and getting
- 32:04Speaker 4: them home safely as a victory. So you're doing you know,
- 32:07Speaker 4: so where are you going to save? But there have
- 32:09Speaker 4: been deliberate attempts over the last twenty years to change
- 32:12Speaker 4: that culture. People are taught at school.
- 32:13Speaker 1: I wasn't.
- 32:14Speaker 4: They are now. My son knows more about it than
- 32:16Speaker 4: I do. And so what that means then is that
- 32:20Speaker 4: you're trying to encourage us, and you do it in
- 32:22Speaker 4: different ways. So the tax free savings you get for
- 32:25Speaker 4: your pensions moved I think from three hundred and fifty
- 32:27Speaker 4: thousand round which it is still for this current financial
- 32:30Speaker 4: year which the taxia ends on Saturday, and we'll go
- 32:33Speaker 4: up to four hundred and thirty. That's huge, Yeah, I mean,
- 32:36Speaker 4: that's that's them saying we rarely want you to save.
- 32:40Speaker 4: And you will see people will take advantage of that,
- 32:42Speaker 4: and people will put that money into their pension, which
- 32:45Speaker 4: means that they're not a burden on government when they're older.
- 32:48Speaker 4: So if I had to sum up this budget, it's
- 32:50Speaker 4: not going to mean that children at school get a
- 32:52Speaker 4: better education tomorrow. It's not going to mean that the people,
- 32:56Speaker 4: the unbelievable heroes who work at Crutascure are going to
- 32:59Speaker 4: have an easier day to morrow. What it should mean
- 33:01Speaker 4: is it's the beginning if we keep going in this direction,
- 33:04Speaker 4: that ten years from now things start to rarely pay off.
- 33:07Speaker 4: And that's kind of the aim of this budget, is
- 33:10Speaker 4: the way that I see it. The problem is you
- 33:13Speaker 4: might not have ten years.
- 33:15Speaker 1: That makes sense, it does. Thank you for wrapping that up.
- 33:17Speaker 1: I think the big question that I'm seeing popping up
- 33:19Speaker 1: over here is on the alcohol and on the cigarettes.
- 33:23Speaker 1: That's syntax so to speak. All right, when do the
- 33:27Speaker 1: when does the increase actually take effect? Is it going
- 33:29Speaker 1: to be on Sunday?
- 33:30Speaker 4: I would imagine it would be on Sunday when the
- 33:32Speaker 4: tax year changes. I would need to check, but I
- 33:34Speaker 4: think this will be the date. Okay, all right, so
- 33:37Speaker 4: stuck up now. I mean, if you didn't already.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Well, I mean it's feeling like when there's a fuel
- 33:41Speaker 1: increase and you want to get to the petroslation. Sure, so,
- 33:46Speaker 1: thank you very much. As always, I know that the
- 33:48Speaker 1: Money Show holds a lot of conversations that I think
- 33:50Speaker 1: you should be listening to. So if you want to
- 33:51Speaker 1: tune in later KPE talking seven oh two, you will

- 42:28Speaker 1: ninety four point five. And it's time for the one up.
- 42:33Speaker 1: So I think it's time. If you want to know
- 42:35Speaker 1: what the one up is all about, it's just a
- 42:37Speaker 1: little bit of you know what. Even even some of
- 42:39Speaker 1: the channels we know in South Africa had a little
- 42:41Speaker 1: slot where people could express themselves and this is it.
- 42:44Speaker 1: It's essentially it's improv I think the one up is
- 42:46Speaker 1: definitely improv because the person who sets the table for
- 42:50Speaker 1: improv is producer Pietrice. He gives us all these ideas
- 42:53Speaker 1: in which we have to see if you can bit
- 42:55Speaker 1: each other's comments about that. It's as simple as that.
- 42:57Speaker 6: We also find out a lot about our producer.
- 43:02Speaker 1: Yes, and often where is that mentally is? It's off
- 43:05Speaker 1: the nap. I don't think you you can't even reach
- 43:07Speaker 1: it with ways.
- 43:07Speaker 13: Yeah, I am mentally a where I stay unstable.
- 43:13Speaker 1: That's it, exactly, No menu conscious, that's it. By the way,
- 43:18Speaker 1: if Petrice were a horse, he'd stay in an unstable.
- 43:22Speaker 12: So you know.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Now, No, we just a little idea of what happened
- 43:30Speaker 1: last night. I keep on forgetting what you do the night, profess.
- 43:32Speaker 6: And that's so great because we've got Joe in the
- 43:35Speaker 6: studio to remind us.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Yes, Joe is. Actually he's kind of like the audio
- 43:40Speaker 1: version of CCTV footage. Yes right, there's yeah, he's honesty.
- 43:45Speaker 1: He's like our a d T. But what we say,
- 43:50Speaker 1: so let's see the panic button.
- 43:52Speaker 13: I want you to flirt, but it's flirting that only
- 43:55Speaker 13: your generation will understand.
- 43:59Speaker 1: Nothing but mad or in the chat, can I just
- 44:00Speaker 1: ask you in which chat is that? The chat is that?
- 44:04Speaker 1: The chat? Okay? Cool? Can I go next? Look at me? One?
- 44:06Speaker 1: Four three? I love you.
- 44:10Speaker 6: The thought of you is my Roman empire.
- 44:13Speaker 3: A s l who she.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Get that one?
- 44:18Speaker 6: You're rising me up? Hikey right now?
- 44:21Speaker 1: Did you say we're going to go hiking? I heard before? Yes,
- 44:24Speaker 1: of course you did. I know where you heard. Her
- 44:28Speaker 1: name was Rizzo and she was from Greece. There are
- 44:31Speaker 1: worse things, cou do you know what? Let's see talk
- 44:35Speaker 1: to me goose.
- 44:39Speaker 6: Oh my goodness, not the king eating.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Pluck it, pluck it? I got you this? What that's
- 44:48Speaker 1: a tazzo?
- 44:51Speaker 6: No, because the way you're making me blushes iconic?
- 44:53Speaker 1: What do you call the icon of it?
- 44:55Speaker 6: I'm gagged that one?
- 44:56Speaker 3: I know.
- 44:56Speaker 1: Well, do you know what?
- 44:58Speaker 2: No? No?
- 44:59Speaker 1: Do you know what the it means? Or have you
- 45:01Speaker 1: been gay? A little bit of both? Well? Here we
- 45:10Speaker 1: are unstable. As I said, what are we doing today?
- 45:14Speaker 1: I feel I do you know what I mean? If
- 45:15Speaker 1: I say that to you? I feel like you and
- 45:17Speaker 1: I are pinky in the brain and one time in
- 45:20Speaker 1: the brain. I know, of course on statue level. So
- 45:24Speaker 1: it's what are we going to do? Brain? Same thing
- 45:27Speaker 1: we do Pinky try to take over the world. Yeah,
- 45:34Speaker 1: I know that reference.
- 45:35Speaker 6: I have my own Phineas and Ferb.
- 45:38Speaker 1: Oh, what are we going to be? Yes, that's there
- 45:41Speaker 1: we go. But no, no, but finish and Ferb. There's
- 45:44Speaker 1: another character in there, you know, just Perry the platypus
- 45:50Speaker 1: is iconic. Ye, sorry, we digressed to Phinias and Ferb
- 45:58Speaker 1: Pinky over to you.
- 46:00Speaker 13: Well, you know, we had the budget today, so I
- 46:04Speaker 13: thought it's only that we flirted with someone in finance,
- 46:09Speaker 13: like Stephens, who I flirt with him?
- 46:11Speaker 1: Oh, hey, calm down, you know what throughout the entire interview,
- 46:15Speaker 1: this one I know. I yes, she she had a no,
- 46:20Speaker 1: she was trying the balance of book.
- 46:22Speaker 5: You know.
- 46:25Speaker 13: I'm just gonna ask Joe to cut that little bit
- 46:28Speaker 13: for Stephen, for Steven, and then I'm going to send
- 46:30Speaker 13: it to him.
- 46:30Speaker 1: When he Assidy says, he'll be appreciated. He'll love that,
- 46:34Speaker 1: like what I like. Yes, exactly, and it'll be quite
- 46:37Speaker 1: a cute thing. He cleaness. All right, So we are
- 46:44Speaker 1: flirting with a person in finance. Yes, I got just
- 46:48Speaker 1: a song.
- 46:49Speaker 6: I'm looking for a man in finance.
- 46:51Speaker 5: Trust fun times.
- 46:58Speaker 1: She went getting up. Now we're gonna go listen to
- 47:02Speaker 1: the money show is actually as we speak, you can talk.
- 47:06Speaker 13: I think he's actually in the backup studio, so you
- 47:08Speaker 13: can just go sit there in the producer.
- 47:12Speaker 6: Don't mind me, sile.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Are you ready for this finance flirting? One oh one,
- 47:22Speaker 1: let's go.
- 47:24Speaker 6: You look like you could be a high risk investment.
- 47:27Speaker 6: I'm looking for a man in finance.
- 47:30Speaker 1: Pay attention to this one. You are a keeper. It's cranial.
- 47:40Speaker 1: I got it. Yeah, I know you did. Do you
- 47:42Speaker 1: have one exactly?
- 47:48Speaker 6: You look like you could take good care of my ass.
- 47:52Speaker 1: It's your pause is too long. By the way, we
- 47:56Speaker 1: aren't live radio. I hope this bond never breaks.
- 48:05Speaker 12: I know, I know.
- 48:06Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 48:08Speaker 6: Looking at you makes me understand compound interest because I'm
- 48:15Speaker 6: just so interested in you.
- 48:16Speaker 1: You know what, I think we should go in a
- 48:18Speaker 1: date maybe today tomorrow together.
- 48:24Speaker 6: Speaking of compound interest, you're growing fast.
- 48:29Speaker 1: You're responsible for this inflation? Yes?
- 48:40Speaker 12: Do you.
- 48:42Speaker 6: Want to be the inside and insider trading? Insider trading?
- 48:50Speaker 1: Absolutely? I just wanted to check something right. You know
- 48:53Speaker 1: this attraction? Is it mutual looking?
- 49:01Speaker 5: I don't want passive income, I want active attention. It's
- 49:05Speaker 5: a player on passive in act.
- 49:07Speaker 1: No that's ika think you explained the joke to love it.
- 49:12Speaker 6: I wouldn't have to explain it to Stephen.
- 49:15Speaker 1: You know, when I look at you, you know what
- 49:17Speaker 1: I'm thinking about, just like it's weird that are Oh?

- 50:02Speaker 1: I have no idea, but it made sense financially, that's all.
- 50:05Speaker 6: I'm sure.
- 50:06Speaker 1: All Right? Thank you? Did we set the standard?
- 50:09Speaker 12: Yes?
- 50:10Speaker 1: I think for you. Please on our way to studio,
- 50:13Speaker 1: be nails.
- 50:14Speaker 6: I'm halfway the door.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Okay, cool, you enjoy all right. I just want to
- 50:18Speaker 1: let you know you said the same thing about John Nathan.
- 50:20Speaker 6: I did have a tie.
- 50:22Speaker 1: You do you do have a type? Look? Yeah, I've
- 50:26Speaker 1: known the radio. Yeah, yeah, you you have. There's a
