- 0:02Speaker 1: Drama, darling Drama, darling Drama, darling Hello, everybody. It's Drama Darling,
- 0:23Speaker 1: and we're back. We are back with Salt Lake City
- 0:27Speaker 1: and my bestie, Jamie Moyer. Hi, Jamels.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Hi.
- 0:33Speaker 1: So before we get into Salt Lake City, we just
- 0:36Speaker 1: want to welcome everyone in, of course. And we want
- 0:40Speaker 1: to talk a little bit about Detroit, because Jamie and
- 0:42Speaker 1: I had a whirlwind of a weekend, and it's Suffice
- 0:46Speaker 1: it to say, I have brushed over some of the
- 0:48Speaker 1: details on this podcast, and some of it I just
- 0:52Speaker 1: left for the Patreon. So I would like to really
- 0:56Speaker 1: share to the world and beyond, some of my darlings
- 0:59Speaker 1: out there listening to the free, with the ads and stuff.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Free to the free.
- 1:05Speaker 1: To the free free. That, you know, the Coney in
- 1:08Speaker 1: Detroit was something that we participated in last weekend. It
- 1:12Speaker 1: was an incredible fundraiser for... the Children's Fund of Michigan,
- 1:17Speaker 1: in which we've raised $ 2. 7 million.
- 1:19Speaker 2: I have to say, yeah, that was unbelievable. I mean,
- 1:23Speaker 2: I was thinking if they raised $ 400, 000, I would be
- 1:26Speaker 2: to tears. So the fact that they made that much
- 1:29Speaker 2: was amazing. And I was to tears, everyone. Own it!
- 1:38Speaker 2: Mark Evan Jackson. Have you noticed that?
- 1:40Speaker 1: I have noticed all on the streets of Detroit. Just
- 1:44Speaker 1: own it, Detroit. They're like, wow, is Lisa Renna in
- 1:49Speaker 1: this fundraiser? That's so cool.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Yes, it was so fun. And you darlings would have
- 1:55Speaker 2: been so proud of Amy. So basically, I can tell
- 1:58Speaker 2: it real fast, Amy. Should I go for it?
- 2:00Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Yeah, do it. Do it. Just this one part. So
- 2:04Speaker 2: everyone needs to know in Detroit, there are billboards everywhere
- 2:07Speaker 2: of this lawyer who's blonde and gorgeous with beautiful crimson
- 2:12Speaker 2: lipstick all the time called, and her name is Jomana K.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Roos.
- 2:15Speaker 2: And it's just a thing. And when people come to town,
- 2:18Speaker 2: they're like, who is that woman on that billboard on
- 2:20Speaker 2: every corner? So it's a well-known thing. Yes.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Personal injury attorney. Yeah.
- 2:27Speaker 2: So take it from there, Amy. Oh, okay.
- 2:29Speaker 1: So I was asked to portray Jomana K. Roos from
- 2:33Speaker 1: the law offices of Jomana K. Roos. None from the billboards.
- 2:38Speaker 1: And we will get you your payout. So that was
- 2:43Speaker 1: just a true honor. So sure enough, I packed up
- 2:46Speaker 1: my Erika Jayne wig. I grabbed one of my pleather skirts.
- 2:51Speaker 2: One of your many, seven or eight.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Oh, several to choose from. Some gorgeous boots, some jewelry
- 2:59Speaker 1: I've worn and decked out with Housewives stuff. And I
- 3:03Speaker 1: took to the stage as Jumana. And and it was
- 3:06Speaker 1: interesting because, oh, Andy Richter was I did that original
- 3:09Speaker 1: scene with him. And so he's the one that says like, oh,
- 3:13Speaker 1: Jemima K. Ruse, what are you doing here? And like,
- 3:16Speaker 1: so when they saw me and they could it was
- 3:19Speaker 1: a visual laugh. Right, Jamie?
- 3:21Speaker 2: Yeah, it was. I mean, I have to say, first
- 3:23Speaker 2: of all. I already told you this, Amy, but your
- 3:25Speaker 2: styling was impeccable. She looked good. You die. I die.
- 3:30Speaker 2: It looked, you look so good. The hair, the jewelry,
- 3:33Speaker 2: the makeup. And she comes out and he's like, is
- 3:35Speaker 2: that J Monica Roos in the law offices of J
- 3:37Speaker 2: Monica Roos? And, and then the whole bit is that
- 3:41Speaker 2: Amy is like, Like Andy Richter's like, I met Tony
- 3:45Speaker 2: Hawk backstage. I think I'm going to start skateboarding. Let
- 3:47Speaker 2: me put on my safety gear. And Amy's like, don't
- 3:49Speaker 2: put it on. I will protect you with a lawsuit.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Just see what happens.
- 3:54Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, if something should happen, you know. Yeah.
- 3:58Speaker 1: So it was really fun. And then the best part
- 3:59Speaker 1: was like, I loved that I got to go down
- 4:01Speaker 1: into the audience, into the VIP section. And just talk
- 4:04Speaker 1: with them. And honestly, they pulled me out of there
- 4:07Speaker 1: way too fast. I was like, let me spend some
- 4:09Speaker 1: time with some people. No, it was perfect.
- 4:10Speaker 2: You're like, let me cook. Let me cook down there.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Let mama serve.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Yeah. Amy goes out. She goes, oh, serving up dish?
- 4:19Speaker 1: Oh, yes. I was just going to say. Serving dish.
- 4:24Speaker 1: In the audience. Yeah.
- 4:26Speaker 2: So, yeah.
- 4:27Speaker 1: It was really, really fun. The audience was great. Full house. Packed.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Sold out.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Speaking of Full House, actors from the TV show Full
- 4:36Speaker 2: House are there. Dave Coulier, Stephanie, and Kimmy Gibbler. Yes.
- 4:40Speaker 2: But Amy's bit, darlings, you'll be happy to know, brought
- 4:44Speaker 2: the house down. And she's out in the audience going,
- 4:46Speaker 2: how are those shoes? And the lady's like, oh, they
- 4:48Speaker 2: feel good. And Amy's like, sure, you sure? No bunions?
- 4:50Speaker 2: No blisters? I will represent you. Like, just nailed it.
- 4:56Speaker 2: And the crowd loved her. And also, there were just
- 4:58Speaker 2: so many fun celebrities there. And we raised $ 2. 7 million.
- 5:03Speaker 2: And then we got to go to the, Amy brought
- 5:05Speaker 2: me as her plus one darling. So I was given
- 5:07Speaker 2: the VIP treatment and we went along with her. We
- 5:12Speaker 2: got box seats at the Tigers game and it was
- 5:15Speaker 2: Justin Berliner's last game.
- 5:18Speaker 1: And Jamie and I were like, I mean, we don't,
- 5:21Speaker 1: we haven't really tuned in much to a Tigers game,
- 5:23Speaker 1: but I'll tell you that day. Yeah. Ride or die, baby.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Tears.
- 5:27Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. Before that, I'm like, I guess
- 5:32Speaker 2: the pitchers, it's his last day. His name is Bustin Turlander.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Cut to two hours later, I'm sobbing in the sand.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Sobbing. No, she was wiping tears.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I was wiping tears, but they set us up, everyone,
- 5:43Speaker 2: because it was like, the manager goes out to tell
- 5:47Speaker 2: him it's his last pitch, and then you just hear
- 5:49Speaker 2: this music. Then his little daughter comes running out. The
- 5:54Speaker 2: music is like.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Swelling. That's Jurassic Park.
- 5:59Speaker 2: The daughter's running out. Then he's crying. And then everyone's crying.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Then all the guys are hugging him. Then his wife
- 6:05Speaker 2: comes out with his little son. Everyone's crying. Then I'm like,
- 6:07Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm like, they're manipulating us as I'm crying.
- 6:10Speaker 2: And then I look over and they've got the camera
- 6:12Speaker 2: trained on this much older woman.
- 6:14Speaker 1: And she's probably is.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Oh, sobbing. And I was like, they got me. No, no, no.
- 6:21Speaker 2: I mean, they got us. Yeah, they got us real good.
- 6:24Speaker 2: They tricked us with the music, especially. But then also,
- 6:27Speaker 2: the next day, they got us into Eminem's box at
- 6:32Speaker 2: the Lions game.
- 6:33Speaker 1: That's right, which my brother, Kirk Phillips at Rosenia Associates, designed.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Because they helped design Ford Field, and they did the
- 6:40Speaker 1: suites and the club level. So I was just a
- 6:43Speaker 1: proud sis up there. Yeah, the suites were gorgeous.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Oh, they were so beautiful.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Beautiful i mean talk about swanky oh my god.
- 6:50Speaker 2: And excellent chicken tacos and chicken tenders.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I did have some chicken tenders and i had some
- 6:58Speaker 1: gorgeous cow salad kale salad and a cow salad.
- 7:02Speaker 2: I avoided the kale salad what with us having a
- 7:04Speaker 2: flight mere hours later um And you know what's so
- 7:09Speaker 2: funny too, darlings? My godmother, who has been in my
- 7:13Speaker 2: life since I was a child, of course, as a
- 7:15Speaker 2: godmother tend to be.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Truly.
- 7:17Speaker 2: She works at Ford Field and she was working there
- 7:21Speaker 2: in the box office. And so I texted my godbrother
- 7:23Speaker 2: and I said, where is mama? And he told me.
- 7:26Speaker 2: And then I left the box. I left up high
- 7:31Speaker 2: and went all the way to the bowels of Ford Field.
- 7:35Speaker 2: And I begged someone to let me go outside to
- 7:37Speaker 2: see her. And one person goes, no reentry without a
- 7:40Speaker 2: ticket ever. And I was like, thank you, sir. And
- 7:42Speaker 2: then I just went right to another person. You can't
- 7:45Speaker 2: argue with a person who's rigid.
- 7:47Speaker 1: No, this was the best because Jamie's like, they don't
- 7:50Speaker 1: know me.
- 7:51Speaker 2: They don't know what I can do. I'm sorry.
- 7:54Speaker 1: If you leave the suites area, you cannot get back in.
- 7:57Speaker 1: It's high security, all this stuff. And she's like, thank you.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Bye-bye. Bye-bye.
- 8:02Speaker 1: And then the next thing you know.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I was like, oh, that's a wonderful policy. Very
- 8:09Speaker 2: helpful for terrorists.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Bye.
- 8:11Speaker 2: And then I went to the next person. I'm like,
- 8:12Speaker 2: my God, mom is working 20 feet from this door.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Can I just go surprise her? And they were like, yes, baby.
- 8:23Speaker 1: There were so many great moments. And like Jamie and
- 8:25Speaker 1: I got to share a room at the Shinola, which
- 8:28Speaker 1: is an exquisite hotel with exquisite, fine watches. In which
- 8:33Speaker 1: I opened a swag bag and, oh, I've got it
- 8:35Speaker 1: on right now. I'm wearing my Shinola watch. Gorgeous, gorgeous Detroit.
- 8:40Speaker 2: That was in one of the bags?
- 8:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't tell you this?
- 8:43Speaker 2: Holy shit. Wow. Shinola watches are very well known. Oh,
- 8:50Speaker 2: and you've got your Kony bracelet. Wow. I did not know.
- 8:54Speaker 2: So Amy's there with all the celebrities. So celebrities get
- 8:57Speaker 2: treated better than regular people. We all know that. That's
- 8:59Speaker 2: just universal.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Yeah, apparently they do. And I don't know how I
- 9:01Speaker 1: got on this list, but I was happy to be there.
- 9:03Speaker 2: You were rocking the list. I mean... You know, first
- 9:07Speaker 2: class tickets and all the beautiful swag. And there was
- 9:10Speaker 2: a swag bag for me too. And everything was first class.
- 9:14Speaker 2: And the people that put the event on thought of
- 9:16Speaker 2: every detail to make everyone feel so welcome. And Amy,
- 9:20Speaker 2: I've said it before. I'll say it again. Thank you
- 9:22Speaker 2: for bringing me as your plus one and treating me
- 9:25Speaker 2: to a fabulous A-lister weekend. Jamie, you would.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Have been there with or without me, you know?
- 9:31Speaker 2: Well, they did bring me, but that was amazing. But
- 9:35Speaker 2: it was your, it was you and I that got
- 9:37Speaker 2: to do all these little extras.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Right. And but you would have been, but you would have,
- 9:44Speaker 1: what I'm trying to say is Jamie, you would have
- 9:45Speaker 1: ended up in those situations, even if it weren't, wasn't
- 9:48Speaker 1: through me as I'm saying, there's a, a, an amazing statue, um,
- 9:54Speaker 1: right downtown Detroit on the corner of Woodward and Jefferson.
- 9:57Speaker 1: And it's called the spirit of Detroit. And it's this,
- 10:00Speaker 1: man holding I don't know, globes. I don't know what
- 10:05Speaker 1: I remember.
- 10:07Speaker 2: He's holding his globes, darling. Not the golden globes. Yeah,
- 10:11Speaker 2: he's holding like two spheres.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Yeah. And it's called the Spirit of Detroit. And I'm like, Jamie...
- 10:18Speaker 1: You are the spirit of Detroit. So, like, don't get
- 10:21Speaker 1: it twisted. Everywhere she went, Jamie Moyer. Also, just, like,
- 10:25Speaker 1: bunking with you was the best. We shared a king-size bed.
- 10:30Speaker 1: And Jamie hit it so hard this weekend. She was gone, like,
- 10:34Speaker 1: until 4 in the morning. We only had, like, I
- 10:37Speaker 1: don't know, four hours of sleep. And I had to
- 10:40Speaker 1: wake her up. And sure enough, she doesn't miss a beat.
- 10:43Speaker 1: I'm like, Jamie, time to wake up. She's like, run
- 10:45Speaker 1: fast for your mother and fast for your father. She
- 10:49Speaker 1: just gets up on it. She doesn't stop. She goes out.
- 10:54Speaker 1: She goes over to this bar. She's going to see
- 10:56Speaker 1: her friend Allison Lewis play her band. You went out
- 10:59Speaker 1: with Sam Richardson. And you saw Sean and Inga, all
- 11:03Speaker 1: the Detroit people. It was so awesome.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I wish I could have seen everybody, but it was literally,
- 11:08Speaker 2: we were there for 51 hours, but darlings, it's so funny.
- 11:11Speaker 2: So we were sharing this King bed. I said, Amy,
- 11:13Speaker 2: I hope I don't disturb you. When I came in,
- 11:16Speaker 2: Amy was so little in that bed. I was like,
- 11:18Speaker 2: is she even in there? Is this a Ferris Bueller situation?
- 11:22Speaker 2: She was just like tightly tucked on the, on the
- 11:25Speaker 2: right side of the bed and I could barely see
- 11:27Speaker 2: her moving.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Well, you know, I'm a stomach sleeper. Anywho, um, But
- 11:34Speaker 1: we just had such a great time. It was a
- 11:35Speaker 1: wonderful show. We got to see so many friends from
- 11:39Speaker 1: the improv world and beyond. Oh, and Jemana K.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Ruse.
- 11:44Speaker 1: We just got alerted.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Yes, this is unbelievable. So a friend of ours sent
- 11:48Speaker 2: us a screenshot. Jemana K. Ruse, someone posted a picture
- 11:53Speaker 2: of Amy and tagged Jemana, someone who knew her, and said,
- 11:57Speaker 2: I don't know if you knew you were part of
- 11:59Speaker 2: this event. And then Jemana K. Ruse re- posted it
- 12:04Speaker 2: and said, I heard I made an appearance in the
- 12:07Speaker 2: comedy at the show, blah, blah, blah. What a good sport. Oh, yeah.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I knew she'd be a good sport if she heard
- 12:13Speaker 1: about it. I knew it.
- 12:14Speaker 2: I knew it.
- 12:15Speaker 1: She's really involved in charities and she seems like she
- 12:19Speaker 1: has a great sense of humor. I can tell from
- 12:21Speaker 1: those billboards.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Yeah, well, the billboards are very serious, Amy. I'm going
- 12:26Speaker 2: to try to pull that picture up. Oh, here it is. Oh, no,
- 12:29Speaker 2: that's not it.
- 12:30Speaker 1: That's not it. Oh, no.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Never mind, everyone. That's okay. Just go to Jay Bona's
- 12:33Speaker 2: page and you'll see her. She's a delight.
- 12:36Speaker 1: She's a delight.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Oh, here it is.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Here it is. Here it is. Okay. So for those
- 12:40Speaker 2: of you watching. For those watching on the Patreon. Read
- 12:43Speaker 2: what it says, Amy. In her voice.
- 12:44Speaker 1: I couldn't make it to last night's Kony charity event,
- 12:49Speaker 1: but apparently I made it into the stand-up ha-ha heart.
- 12:55Speaker 2: And there's Amy.
- 12:56Speaker 1: That's fun.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Look at her styling. Yeah, it was a beautiful weekend
- 13:01Speaker 2: for amazing to bring that much money in specifically for
- 13:07Speaker 2: arts education for Detroit kids is humongous. And it was
- 13:11Speaker 2: the Children's Hospital of Michigan, the Detroit Creativity Project, 2.7 million. Unbelievable.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Like wild.
- 13:19Speaker 1: For the arts, you know, for the arts. Also, my
- 13:22Speaker 1: bestie from Chicago, Kelly Ford Owen, came in.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:26Speaker 1: And Claudia Wallace came in from Chicago, who maybe you
- 13:29Speaker 1: darlings know from the Drama Darling live show. She was
- 13:33Speaker 1: one of the Real Housewives of Chicago. She played in
- 13:35Speaker 1: the show. Anyway, so Kelly came in and I walked
- 13:38Speaker 1: her back to her hotel at the end of the
- 13:40Speaker 1: night on Saturday and she was staying at the Siren. Well,
- 13:43Speaker 1: I walk in there. I'm like, this hotel is amazing. Nice.
- 13:46Speaker 1: The lobby is just like, it looks like a boudoir,
- 13:50Speaker 1: like you're on a set of a boudoir. So I
- 13:53Speaker 1: was like, we got to take some pictures. So we
- 13:56Speaker 1: spent like an hour posing in front of all these
- 13:58Speaker 1: different vignettes in that hotel lobby. And it was so funny.
- 14:03Speaker 1: And then Claudia walks in because she's staying there too.
- 14:06Speaker 1: And I'm like, oh, yeah, we're right in the middle
- 14:08Speaker 1: of a photo shoot, like major.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Y'all look gorgeous too. Kelly Ford Owen's dress was stunning.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Yeah, well, she's a fashionista, you know.
- 14:18Speaker 2: And jewelry. Look her up, darlings.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Jewelry designer to the stars.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Yeah. And by stars, I mean Amy M. Phillips.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Get out at the end. Annie. So why don't we
- 14:38Speaker 1: talk about Salt Lake City? Sorry, Brett. Sorry, Brett. We
- 14:45Speaker 1: didn't even mention we were on Ford Field. We got
- 14:48Speaker 1: to go on Ford Field.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Yeah. I guess part of my ding-battedness, I had no idea.
- 14:54Speaker 2: I'm like, gosh, it really seems like they're walking us
- 14:56Speaker 2: down into the, holy shit, we're walking out onto the field.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Nobody knew, except for maybe like a couple of people
- 15:02Speaker 1: who were going to do a wave to the camera.
- 15:04Speaker 1: We didn't know.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Oh, is that right? Nobody knew?
- 15:06Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I didn't know.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Nobody knew.
- 15:07Speaker 2: I just assumed I didn't know because I'm an absolute dingbat.
- 15:11Speaker 1: No, no, we did not know. Um, so that was
- 15:14Speaker 1: really cool. What a highlight.
- 15:16Speaker 2: All right. So proud of you, Amy, and you are
- 15:18Speaker 2: a star and you should always be treated that way.
- 15:22Speaker 2: You should be treated with red carpet everywhere you go.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 15:26Speaker 3: That's not the time and place.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Okay.
- 15:29Speaker 2: We were in.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Detroit, but these Salt Lake City ladies went to San Francisco.
- 15:36Speaker 1: And wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. Nothing like a Salt
- 15:39Speaker 1: Lake City Sprinter van to get us revved up for
- 15:43Speaker 1: some drama. And I got to tell you, this new housewife,
- 15:46Speaker 1: Ashley Kwai, is phenomenal. She is working in seamlessly. There's
- 15:52Speaker 1: already drama, and I felt bad for her. This whole
- 15:54Speaker 1: connection with Whitney... And her best friend that, like, passed.
- 15:59Speaker 1: And this being her sister is really intense.
- 16:05Speaker 2: I know. First of all, I was absolutely triggered when
- 16:08Speaker 2: I saw a camera angle in a Sprinter van. Nothing
- 16:13Speaker 2: good goes down in a Sprinter van. Nothing. Except those ratings.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Ratings go. Yeah. I just. It's like. You know, there's
- 16:26Speaker 2: a Jay-Z lyric after that whole thing when Shalange beat
- 16:29Speaker 2: his ass on the elevator where he goes, he goes, yeah,
- 16:32Speaker 2: a lot of shit goes down when you put $ 2
- 16:35Speaker 2: billion on an elevator. That's how I feel every time
- 16:37Speaker 2: I see a Sprinter van. I'm like, ugh. But Amy,
- 16:40Speaker 2: I have to agree with you. And you know what?
- 16:43Speaker 2: I hate to say this, not to bring the room down, but.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Her friend Ashley Kwai being on the show is giving
- 16:48Speaker 2: me Shamia and Portia vibes. What friendship can survive? No.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Immediately. Immediately no. It's not a.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Good idea for these friendships. Immediately no. And Whitney told
- 17:00Speaker 2: that story to Angie. Dumb. Stupid.
- 17:03Speaker 1: And she's going to tell everybody everything.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Yeah, of course. Angie loves to do that. So that
- 17:08Speaker 2: was rough stuff. Rough first episode for Ashley Kwai. crying again,
- 17:14Speaker 2: crying again.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Oh man, those were real tears. When Meredith and Lisa
- 17:18Speaker 1: had her in the corner there, I love somebody over
- 17:21Speaker 1: in the other group was like, Lisa's grooming her right now.
- 17:25Speaker 1: And I was like, it's too funny. Because they need
- 17:31Speaker 1: numbers over there. Meredith and Lisa need numbers. So they
- 17:34Speaker 1: better recruit and recruit hard. So I think it's smart that,
- 17:38Speaker 1: how about when Meredith said to.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Her, if they see you affected by this, they're gonna
- 17:44Speaker 3: go in harder.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Yeah, that was wild.
- 17:47Speaker 1: I was like, damn, this is so intense on the housewives. Like,
- 17:50Speaker 1: there is strategy. And then you hear from the other
- 17:53Speaker 1: camp that they're like, oh my God, she's crying. Let's
- 17:56Speaker 1: go in harder. You know, you just like, you know that.
- 17:59Speaker 2: They're, yeah. It's crazy. Like the way that they, I
- 18:04Speaker 2: also love when Meredith was like, I'm not taking your apology.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Go fuck yourself. I just love it. But yeah, that
- 18:13Speaker 2: was a little window in, wasn't it, Amy? I didn't
- 18:15Speaker 2: even think about it that way.
- 18:16Speaker 1: It was. And I felt like Meredith was giving her
- 18:20Speaker 1: a little, you know, a sneak peek and a little
- 18:23Speaker 1: morsel of gold because I don't think that she probably
- 18:27Speaker 1: gives many housewives that come in, you know, her secrets.
- 18:31Speaker 1: But it seemed like She was like, those look like
- 18:34Speaker 1: real tears. Okay. Real tears. Lisa, those real tears. She's like, yeah,
- 18:40Speaker 1: those are real tears. And they really genuinely felt bad
- 18:44Speaker 1: for her. It was nice to see those two, like,
- 18:46Speaker 1: actually console somebody, to be honest with you. Because they're
- 18:51Speaker 1: so far up each other's, you knows, that. Yeah.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Their butts.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Their butts.
- 18:59Speaker 2: No, you're right. And also I felt it was genuine
- 19:03Speaker 2: from them. I do think that like Lisa and Meredith
- 19:07Speaker 2: were traumatized a little bit. Well, first of all, Meredith
- 19:12Speaker 2: took it real hard on the chin on that season
- 19:15Speaker 2: where everyone was accusing her of being a pill popper.
- 19:17Speaker 2: I mean, that was insane. Oh, my God. She took
- 19:19Speaker 2: it hard on the chin.
- 19:21Speaker 1: She sure did.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Yeah. And then I have to, you know, as Amy knows,
- 19:27Speaker 2: I like everyone usually. Like, even when they do things
- 19:30Speaker 2: that drive me crazy. But Whitney, I am sick of
- 19:33Speaker 2: these apologies. Every fucking season, there's some apology where she's
- 19:36Speaker 2: on the brink of tears. Yeah. Can we start fresh
- 19:40Speaker 2: from here? Bitch, clean up your act. I'm sick of
- 19:44Speaker 2: starting fresh from here every time with you. And she
- 19:47Speaker 2: knows just how to word it so that a person
- 19:49Speaker 2: would look past it. if they didn't agree. And Meredith
- 19:52Speaker 2: was like, no, I'm not doing this bullshit.
- 19:54Speaker 1: I know. I agree with you. And also, like, I
- 19:56Speaker 1: guess the difference this season is that she is sober.
- 19:59Speaker 1: And I honestly forgot that until she was saying, we're
- 20:04Speaker 1: in San Francisco. And I'm not drinking.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:08Speaker 1: So I don't, you know, maybe this will be interesting.
- 20:12Speaker 1: So I just, I forget. So she is trying to
- 20:15Speaker 1: clean up her act, but we've seen it one too
- 20:18Speaker 1: many times. Every single season, it's something. And it's like
- 20:22Speaker 1: in front of everybody. And it's like, can we start
- 20:24Speaker 1: from the beginning?
- 20:25Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. Every time, literally, probably every single season, the
- 20:30Speaker 2: season when she upset Heather, like this, you know, so
- 20:35Speaker 2: betrayed and like, also was thinking that too when I
- 20:38Speaker 2: saw Meredith and Lisa at dinner though I'm like you
- 20:41Speaker 2: gotta give it to Meredith to be able to forgive
- 20:44Speaker 2: I hate her she fucked everyone in New York like
- 20:46Speaker 2: that's a huge thing to get over so honestly I
- 20:49Speaker 2: can't to Meredith.
- 20:50Speaker 1: I think about it on every episode Jamie I cannot
- 20:53Speaker 1: believe they bounce back from that a lot too considering
- 20:56Speaker 1: that Meredith will not budge on most everything And I
- 21:01Speaker 1: think it must have been an offer that she couldn't
- 21:03Speaker 1: refuse from Lisa. Like, I will do whatever it takes
- 21:07Speaker 1: to have your back till the end of time. You know,
- 21:10Speaker 1: she must have really said, I will have like, let's
- 21:14Speaker 1: not take this friendship to a secure alliance that we
- 21:18Speaker 1: can ride out until the end.
- 21:20Speaker 2: They also could have gone the other way because when
- 21:23Speaker 2: the show started, they were like, we're like sisters. Everyone
- 21:25Speaker 2: thinks we're the same person. And then stuff like that
- 21:28Speaker 2: comes up.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:30Speaker 2: And they could have gone the wrong way, but you're right.
- 21:33Speaker 2: But you know what? If someone messes up that bad,
- 21:36Speaker 2: that does put Meredith in a power position, which is a,
- 21:39Speaker 2: it's a, it's a good feeling to have where you're like,
- 21:42Speaker 2: I could forgive her. I could not forgive her. I'll
- 21:44Speaker 2: see what I feel. But, but yeah, man, that, that
- 21:48Speaker 2: shows that Meredith can be forgiving. And also now these
- 21:51Speaker 2: bitches have me wondering if Meredith's wearing a wig all
- 21:53Speaker 2: the time. She is. Why, why is it like a
- 21:56Speaker 2: big secret then?
- 21:58Speaker 1: Well, I don't think, I think that maybe the producer.
- 22:00Speaker 2: And what does her real hair look like?
- 22:02Speaker 1: Well, I think her real hair really looks like that.
- 22:05Speaker 1: I just think that it's more, I think it's just
- 22:09Speaker 1: more full. And here's what, when I saw it, I go, oh,
- 22:11Speaker 1: she's wearing a wig this season. Good for her. Because,
- 22:15Speaker 1: you know, like filming these housewives shows, you got to
- 22:19Speaker 1: do all your hair and makeup for all these confessionals.
- 22:21Speaker 1: You got to go out and all this shit. I
- 22:22Speaker 1: would be like, put a wig on it. I'm done. Like,
- 22:25Speaker 1: you know, also, you know, she has a facelift, right?
- 22:28Speaker 1: It looked amazing. Oh, isn't that the best work you've
- 22:32Speaker 1: ever seen?
- 22:32Speaker 2: One of the best facelifts I've ever seen. And that
- 22:34Speaker 2: includes all celebrities who sometimes get bad ones. That's right
- 22:38Speaker 2: up there in the Kris Jenner Hall of Fame. Kris
- 22:40Speaker 2: Jenner's most recent work. And Lindsay Lohan.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Yes.
- 22:44Speaker 2: They brought Lindsay Lohan back from I don't know where.
- 22:48Speaker 1: From the parent trap. They brought her back to the
- 22:51Speaker 1: parent trap. That's how young she looks. Yeah.
- 22:53Speaker 2: What in the death becomes me? Isabella Rossellini prick. If
- 22:58Speaker 2: her finger, Lindsay Lohan, got the prick.
- 23:03Speaker 1: I think that her facelift is so fresh, it's very
- 23:07Speaker 1: possible she might have bruising or some, I don't want
- 23:11Speaker 1: to say scabbing, but some sort of remains somewhere on
- 23:14Speaker 1: her jawline back by her ears. And maybe this is
- 23:17Speaker 1: just a temporary wig in order to hide that. I
- 23:21Speaker 1: don't know.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Great.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Either way, I'm for it. I don't think she's necessarily
- 23:25Speaker 1: keeping it a secret. I think that the producer was
- 23:27Speaker 1: just like saying to Whitney, well, she's not talking about
- 23:30Speaker 1: how she's wearing a wig. So it's not really part
- 23:32Speaker 1: of it.
- 23:33Speaker 2: But this episode had three wig shadings. What? Angie said
- 23:38Speaker 2: it too, I think, in the confessional. Three wig shadings?
- 23:43Speaker 2: At least two for sure wig shadings.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Oh, I'm so sorry. And I was watching this. With
- 23:49Speaker 1: no distraction.
- 23:51Speaker 2: You alerted to the first one.
- 23:52Speaker 1: That was last week.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 23:56Speaker 1: So if they're doing that to her, that's not nice.
- 23:58Speaker 2: No, two of them at least did it. And I'm
- 24:01Speaker 2: pretty sure one of them was Angie. Angie's like, it
- 24:04Speaker 2: could have blown her wig back. No pun intended. Whatever
- 24:07Speaker 2: the fuck it was. And I was like, that's not nice.
- 24:10Speaker 1: No, it's not, Angie.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Don't do that. She could have alopecia.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay, I want to mention.
- 24:15Speaker 2: She doesn't. She doesn't, but she could.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Maybe I will.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Maybe Brooks Marks tracksuits will give me that. I might
- 24:27Speaker 3: put it over my head.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I love that Brooks popped out and was like, thank
- 24:32Speaker 1: you for having me. I gotta go.
- 24:35Speaker 2: He just came out of nowhere. It was so funny
- 24:38Speaker 2: because he's like, I don't smother you. Brooks, do I
- 24:40Speaker 2: smother you? He's like, yes, mother. Yes, mother.
- 24:46Speaker 1: I did love that random ass scene with she and
- 24:50Speaker 1: Seth and then Brooks popping out in the tracksuit, which
- 24:53Speaker 1: he had to. I'm like, is he literally shooting in
- 24:57Speaker 1: the city?
- 24:58Speaker 2: What is it?
- 24:59Speaker 1: No, that's the other one.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Next Gen. Next Gen NYC, my favorite show currently on Bravo.
- 25:05Speaker 2: It's the best. I told Amy, Amy, darlings, I told
- 25:07Speaker 2: Amy that Next Gen. First of all, I called it.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Amy gave me my flowers because I said that's going
- 25:13Speaker 2: to be a good shit. I said this is going
- 25:14Speaker 2: to be good. I just love it. I love the editing.
- 25:17Speaker 2: I love the people. And they're also not quite sure
- 25:19Speaker 2: where they're at yet, which I love, but not the
- 25:21Speaker 2: seasoned ones. Anyway, I think next Shen NYC is the
- 25:25Speaker 2: new Vanderpump Rules.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Absolutely. You are so right, Jamie.
- 25:30Speaker 2: And also I want to say on this episode, Amy,
- 25:34Speaker 2: we have to do a conversation because as her daughter,
- 25:37Speaker 2: because she sounds just like. Oh my God. Let's do it.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Let's do it. Okay. We're on the phone.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Okay. Chloe? Hi, Rob.
- 25:51Speaker 3: So, are you going to respond to the email for me?
- 25:56Speaker 2: I was thinking about it, but I'm not sure if
- 25:59Speaker 2: it's necessary. I'm Chloe.
- 26:02Speaker 3: Well, you need to make a choice because that's up
- 26:05Speaker 3: to you. It's not up to me, and I've just
- 26:07Speaker 3: promoted you to president.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Well, I'm the president of the company, and I'm also
- 26:13Speaker 2: the face. 24 years old. I'm Chloe. Own it!
- 26:23Speaker 1: Okay, I do love... Yes, thank you. Good job. Good job, Jeannie.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I do love that one cut in the sprinter van. No, no, no, no.
- 26:35Speaker 1: This was in the hotel room when they were at
- 26:37Speaker 1: the Beacon Grand. Gorgeous. And, oh. Gorgeous San Francisco. Me too.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I looked it up right on. I was immediately looking
- 26:44Speaker 1: it up immediately on my phone. Okay, so Whitney is
- 26:48Speaker 1: telling Heather that Ashley is nervous about Heather going for Lisa.
- 26:55Speaker 1: And then, of course, Bronwyn tells Angie that Ashley was hazing,
- 27:00Speaker 1: you know, Angie. And then we get this cut of
- 27:04Speaker 1: Heather in a slow motion from back in the day
- 27:08Speaker 1: where she goes, I'm not a pill popper. And I,
- 27:13Speaker 1: you don't count my drinks.
- 27:17Speaker 2: That was a rough, rough cut back.
- 27:19Speaker 1: I was like, is this a parody of the house?
- 27:24Speaker 1: It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
- 27:26Speaker 2: You're like, stop doing the work for me, people. Yeah.
- 27:29Speaker 1: But you know, it, To your point about like Meredith's
- 27:32Speaker 1: rough season when she took it on the chin about
- 27:34Speaker 1: pill popping. I was like, I forgot. Was Heather even
- 27:37Speaker 1: accused of that? I don't remember that.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Who knew? I don't remember it. These girls sometimes, I
- 27:44Speaker 2: wish I could just say them, do less. This is
- 27:46Speaker 2: such a perfect franchise. Because even like that conversation that
- 27:51Speaker 2: Whitney had with.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Ashley.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Someone, yeah. Ashley Kwai. We're in some trouble here because basically,
- 27:58Speaker 2: this is what I'm saying about friendship ruined. Ashley Kwai
- 28:02Speaker 2: barely said anything. She basically was like, yeah, Heather was,
- 28:07Speaker 2: that was crazy when Heather jumped across the table. And
- 28:09Speaker 2: then she said the one other thing. What was the
- 28:11Speaker 2: second thing they took her to task for? Do you remember? Yeah. Oh,
- 28:15Speaker 2: how Angie, how Angie, quote, unquote, confronted her. And there
- 28:19Speaker 2: was a discrepancy between saying the word, sorry for these
- 28:25Speaker 2: long pauses.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Oh, diabolical.
- 28:27Speaker 2: No, no. The other one. aggressive and she was like
- 28:31Speaker 2: i'm just being arduous like whatever the word was she
- 28:33Speaker 2: didn't even say aggressive but basically ashley quiet barely had
- 28:37Speaker 2: a conversation and whitney brought it back to those bitches
- 28:40Speaker 2: and then those bitches ran with two dumb things and.
- 28:43Speaker 1: They weren't even true they that these women.
- 28:45Speaker 2: Don't have the words yes.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Completely wrong they are playing not only are they playing
- 28:51Speaker 1: telephone and getting um uh aggressive the word aggressive and
- 28:55Speaker 1: the word A dress wrong.
- 28:57Speaker 2: That's what I was trying to say just now.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Yeah, a dress. That's exactly right, Jamie.
- 29:01Speaker 2: I said arduous or something.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Well, you had it.
- 29:04Speaker 2: We knew.
- 29:04Speaker 1: And then the diabolical thing when she said Diablo and
- 29:08Speaker 1: she's kind of joking. Yeah. And also, like, also Heather was, like,
- 29:12Speaker 1: pointing and being pretty intense across the table. Then Bronwyn
- 29:17Speaker 1: is like, I don't remember ever saying that. My name
- 29:20Speaker 1: isn't Bronwyn and we're not in San Francisco, so who
- 29:22Speaker 1: are you? Like, she completely... Completely denied everything that she said.
- 29:28Speaker 1: It was the weirdest thing.
- 29:30Speaker 2: It was so strange. And all I can do is
- 29:32Speaker 2: just wait for the reunion and hope they roll the tape.
- 29:35Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, embarrassing. This happens on every franchise. I did.
- 29:40Speaker 2: not say that. And then they show the clip and
- 29:42Speaker 2: they're like, here's exactly what I am saying. It is that,
- 29:46Speaker 2: you know, it's embarrassing.
- 29:48Speaker 1: They I mean, they need to take their privilege in
- 29:49Speaker 1: at this point, because if they genuinely don't remember, which
- 29:52Speaker 1: it it does actually seem like they don't remember.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Nice plug for Prevagen.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Thank you. And listen, if you guys have any CVS
- 30:02Speaker 1: points or coupons, please send them my way. My dad
- 30:04Speaker 1: gets his Prevagen from there. And he loves to use
- 30:08Speaker 1: the coupons.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Okay?
- 30:11Speaker 1: So anyway, and he's got me taking it now. He's like,
- 30:13Speaker 1: are you taking it? I'm like, well, I forgot. He's like, well,
- 30:16Speaker 1: if you took it, you wouldn't forget.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Is it for memory? Because I need that. I have
- 30:20Speaker 2: a terrible memory.
- 30:21Speaker 1: That's what it's for. It's for memory. Hmm.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Memories. What were we talking about?
- 30:31Speaker 1: Anyway, they all get it wrong. So they either have,
- 30:34Speaker 1: they just forget and they're reckless. So they're recklessly forgetting
- 30:37Speaker 1: and then they're creating such a big scene. It is sloppy.
- 30:40Speaker 1: It's like, that's not the work that we need done
- 30:42Speaker 1: on the Housewives. We need it to be a little
- 30:45Speaker 1: more pointed, a little more, you know, just get your
- 30:50Speaker 1: head in the game. That's all I'm saying.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Yeah, get your head in the game. You're running on Fumes,
- 30:55Speaker 2: and it's the third episode.
- 30:57Speaker 1: And falsities. Fumes and falsities.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Now, let me ask you a question. You said Ashley's
- 31:02Speaker 2: the newest housewife. Is she or is she a friend of?
- 31:07Speaker 2: Will she be holding a snowflake next week? She wasn't
- 31:09Speaker 2: holding one this week.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Snowfake is, I like that better.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Oopsy. Thridian slip. Because I didn't see her holding one.
- 31:18Speaker 2: And frankly, we don't need a full-time new housewife. These
- 31:21Speaker 2: seven are locked and loaded.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Yeah, she's probably a friend of. But she's acting like
- 31:26Speaker 1: a housewife.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Yeah. What is your opinion? Brittany still hasn't gotten her snowflake.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Oh, my God. What did you think of her going
- 31:34Speaker 1: up to the wheelchair-bound airportees and taking their picture and
- 31:39Speaker 1: video and pinching them?
- 31:40Speaker 2: Poor taste. Stupid. Stupid bit. Dumb. I do. Brittany gets
- 31:46Speaker 2: on my nerves a little bit. Sometimes I'm okay with
- 31:48Speaker 2: her because she is. But she's trying so hard to
- 31:50Speaker 2: come across as Snow White all the time. That bit
- 31:52Speaker 2: was stupid. And don't put a camera in my face.
- 31:56Speaker 1: No.
- 31:57Speaker 2: No.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Honestly, to go up to somebody with a camera is
- 32:01Speaker 1: ballsy and rude.
- 32:03Speaker 2: At the airport.
- 32:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:06Speaker 2: What was that sound bite you just dropped?
- 32:09Speaker 1: This is fucking disgusting. It's Tamara Judge. It's fucking disgusting.
- 32:13Speaker 1: From the OC.
- 32:14Speaker 2: I've heard of it. Okay.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Um, the toothbrush, the toothbrush that is now that's diabolical.
- 32:22Speaker 1: That is fucking disgusting. I, that is a level of
- 32:28Speaker 1: like depth that I don't know many people that would
- 32:31Speaker 1: do that. And if they do it, I don't know
- 32:34Speaker 1: that about them. And that's terrifying.
- 32:36Speaker 2: I think that is the grossest thing I've ever heard.
- 32:39Speaker 2: And I, I, I have heard of it happening before,
- 32:42Speaker 2: and I once suspected someone of possibly considering doing that
- 32:49Speaker 2: in my apartment years ago who didn't really like me,
- 32:52Speaker 2: and I replaced my toothbrush. What? I'm sure it didn't
- 32:59Speaker 2: happen to me, but I was like, that guy is
- 33:01Speaker 2: just shady enough that he might do it. But anyway,
- 33:04Speaker 2: I think it's gross. I also think that I don't
- 33:09Speaker 2: want to spend much time on it because it grosses
- 33:11Speaker 2: me out. But also agree. The grosser part is Whitney
- 33:16Speaker 2: telling that story. And then when they first brought it
- 33:21Speaker 2: to her, they're like, this is why I love her.
- 33:22Speaker 2: Cause she doesn't even care. Of course she cared. It
- 33:24Speaker 2: took a while. And then she started crying because in
- 33:27Speaker 2: the back of her mind, she's like, holy shit, this
- 33:29Speaker 2: is national television.
- 33:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Now, now everyone in the world knows I'm a toothbrush
- 33:34Speaker 2: mama and, It's not good.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Not good.
- 33:38Speaker 2: No, it's not. And then it sounds like her and
- 33:39Speaker 2: her husband, they're probably some Sid and Nancy crazy couple.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Who knows what the deal is? Lord knows he's rich.
- 33:45Speaker 2: I'll tell you that. She owns the mountain.
- 33:47Speaker 1: To go, Jamie, to go from Lisa's glam team to
- 33:52Speaker 1: the top of a mountain, that's nuts. Can you even?
- 33:58Speaker 2: She's wild.
- 34:01Speaker 1: I like the energy she brings. She's very different from
- 34:04Speaker 1: everyone else. I'm very happy about it. I think it's great.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Just incredibly disappointed about this toothbrush thing and let's move on.
- 34:12Speaker 2: And also disappointed that Whitney threw her under the bus
- 34:15Speaker 2: and their friendship, I guarantee you, is over. Extremely disappointed.
- 34:19Speaker 2: And you tell Angie that, and you don't think Angie's
- 34:23Speaker 2: going to just share her way over and just be like, babe,
- 34:25Speaker 2: do you know what I just heard about, babe? They
- 34:28Speaker 2: say we're young and we don't know.
- 34:31Speaker 1: This girl put her toothbrush in the bowl.
- 34:37Speaker 2: I don't know if all that's true.
- 34:40Speaker 1: There be a toothbrush floating in the pool.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Ha ha ha!
- 34:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Fucking terrible. Anyway, I hated that whole story. Gross. And,
- 34:55Speaker 2: and also don't tell Mary that story. Let Mary leave
- 34:58Speaker 2: alone with it. She doesn't need to hear that. She's
- 35:00Speaker 2: already in distress.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Jamie, when she showed up with that picture on the orchid,
- 35:04Speaker 1: I said, who the fuck do you think you are?
- 35:07Speaker 1: What are you doing? You insensitive person. I really got
- 35:10Speaker 1: my blood was boiling. I was very livid. I felt
- 35:13Speaker 1: very protective. And I thought Mary handled that extremely well.
- 35:18Speaker 1: But who would do that?
- 35:21Speaker 2: Oh man, I don't know. Now I wasn't quite that upset.
- 35:25Speaker 2: As she was walking in, Amy would sit on there.
- 35:27Speaker 2: I was like, oh, that's nice. But then when Mary
- 35:32Speaker 2: popped up, I was like, yeah, Angie, what are you thinking?
- 35:34Speaker 2: So I don't know. I could go both ways on that.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Now that you're saying that, I'm thinking about how my
- 35:40Speaker 2: friend's mom just passed and I sent her a framed photo.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Okay, Jamie, that's different. And I'll tell you why. First
- 35:48Speaker 1: of all, you're not showing up on camera with a plant.
- 35:53Speaker 2: With a broken orchid. Thank you.
- 35:55Speaker 1: And coming into her home and just watching her respond
- 36:00Speaker 1: to this. You sent it to her. She can open
- 36:03Speaker 1: it at any time. I think that's a beautiful gift.
- 36:06Speaker 1: I'm not opposed to having any kind of memory cherished
- 36:09Speaker 1: or packaged in such a way to hold on to
- 36:15Speaker 1: and to celebrate. I just think that that was a
- 36:17Speaker 1: little like, I'm just stuck in there. Like, well, you just, you.
- 36:21Speaker 2: Won me over as soon as you said on camera,
- 36:23Speaker 2: you're right. What are you trying to do? Get her
- 36:25Speaker 2: to cry on camera.
- 36:26Speaker 1: That's it on camera. That's the thing.
- 36:28Speaker 2: That's right. That's the thing. Okay. I stand by my
- 36:31Speaker 2: gift and I'll stand by it.
- 36:33Speaker 1: I think it's beautiful.
- 36:39Speaker 2: Mary is doing a great job, but you know what?
- 36:41Speaker 2: In that moment. Yeah. When she said, I can't do pictures. Um,
- 36:46Speaker 2: And she almost, you know, you could see the facade
- 36:48Speaker 2: a little bit, not a facade, but you could see
- 36:50Speaker 2: her thinking of going to the darker side of this.
- 36:55Speaker 2: And I thought to myself, as much as that moment
- 36:59Speaker 2: was unnecessary, it just reminded me that no matter how
- 37:04Speaker 2: much you are engulfed in the embrace of what heaven
- 37:09Speaker 2: is and what God is and people are out of pain,
- 37:12Speaker 2: that Mary is never going to be the same. And
- 37:14Speaker 2: this is so devastating. And in that moment, I'm so
- 37:17Speaker 2: glad she has her faith. I think that when people
- 37:20Speaker 2: have their faith like this, it is what gets them through.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Absolutely. And, you know, she was on Watch What Happens
- 37:28Speaker 1: Live last night. And Andy said, you know, asked her
- 37:31Speaker 1: the question, what made you decide to come back? And
- 37:33Speaker 1: Andy said, you know, we said to you, take a year.
- 37:37Speaker 1: And she said, I didn't want to stop. I didn't
- 37:39Speaker 1: want to, I wanted to keep myself busy. I wanted
- 37:42Speaker 1: to stay in that, you know, zone of being positive
- 37:47Speaker 1: and light instead of, you know, potentially going to the
- 37:51Speaker 1: dark side and being home. And I understand that. I do.
- 37:55Speaker 1: And I think it was smart to not go to
- 37:56Speaker 1: San Francisco either.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Oh yeah. I like that too. I like that. She
- 38:00Speaker 2: was like, I'm not going, I'm not going to the
- 38:02Speaker 2: ski trip. I'm not going to San Francisco.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:05Speaker 2: In my life, when I've gone through things, I push
- 38:09Speaker 2: myself to do those things and no more. This last year,
- 38:13Speaker 2: I'm not doing it. I think that was really impressive.
- 38:18Speaker 2: And I think that it was smart of her to
- 38:19Speaker 2: come back. She just already is rattling around in that
- 38:23Speaker 2: huge house. Yeah. It used to be her, Robert Jr.,
- 38:28Speaker 2: and her house helper, who's also, I think, her family.
- 38:34Speaker 2: I think she has some family in there.
- 38:36Speaker 1: Yeah, family and church members.
- 38:39Speaker 2: Yeah. But I think no matter how much you have
- 38:42Speaker 2: those people around, all you want is your son.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Right.
- 38:47Speaker 2: It's too much house.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's too many crackers to be hovering over
- 38:51Speaker 1: someone to put on a plate. Yeah. You know, I
- 38:54Speaker 1: don't want to be that person.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Do it with love.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Do it with love. I'm going to break these crackers.
- 39:00Speaker 2: But, you know, I think that being on the show
- 39:03Speaker 2: is going to help her because if she didn't have
- 39:05Speaker 2: the show, that's what she's doing.
- 39:06Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely. Lisa apparently is invited to the Oscars every year,
- 39:12Speaker 1: but what they do....
- 39:15Speaker 2: What happened? Better finish. The Oscar Myers Bowl. The Oscar
- 39:22Speaker 2: Myers Bowl.
- 39:23Speaker 1: The Oscar Myers Puppy Bowl. No, but isn't it fair
- 39:28Speaker 1: to say that she's just invited to an Oscar party
- 39:31Speaker 1: and that's what she's calling the Oscars? Like, what are
- 39:34Speaker 1: we considering the Oscars, everybody, in the Sprinter van? Because
- 39:37Speaker 1: I don't think we're all on the same page here.
- 39:39Speaker 2: Yeah, because Bronwyn was not invited to the Oscars either,
- 39:42Speaker 2: I would imagine. She was invited to do a color
- 39:45Speaker 2: commentary on the red carpet.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Yes. So that's not So, like, they don't know what
- 39:50Speaker 1: they're talking about.
- 39:52Speaker 2: They need to say Oscar events or parties. Right. But
- 39:56Speaker 2: what if we're wrong, Amy?
- 39:57Speaker 3: I know.
- 39:58Speaker 1: I would consider that.
- 39:59Speaker 2: What if Bronwyn was invited in in a seat? I mean,
- 40:02Speaker 2: the Kodak theater is ginormous.
- 40:05Speaker 1: Maybe so.
- 40:06Speaker 2: Okay.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:07Speaker 2: Maybe. Maybe. But whatever the case, Lisa's full of shit.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Here's what I think is important. Hey, what are you
- 40:17Speaker 1: doing this weekend? Oh, I'm hosting a red carpet event
- 40:23Speaker 1: outside of the Oscars where I talk to people about
- 40:25Speaker 1: their fashions. You know what I'm saying? Like. Okay, Lisa,
- 40:29Speaker 1: what are you doing this weekend? I was invited to
- 40:31Speaker 1: the Oscars, but I'm not going. So you have a seat? Like,
- 40:35Speaker 1: do you have a table? What is it? I was invited.
- 40:38Speaker 1: I'm invited to all those kinds of things. They're boring
- 40:41Speaker 1: because you have to wait. I don't understand. I need
- 40:45Speaker 1: to know more.
- 40:46Speaker 2: I need to know more, too, because I'm certain there
- 40:48Speaker 2: probably is like a one-time invitation or something she got.
- 40:55Speaker 2: I just don't believe it. Even on the van, she
- 40:58Speaker 2: tried to deflect off of it. Why? Because of Vita Tequila?
- 41:04Speaker 1: Well, if her company is hosting events at the Oscars,
- 41:10Speaker 1: then you would be at an Oscar event, not the
- 41:13Speaker 1: actual awards.
- 41:15Speaker 2: Also, why is the Oscars in L.A., where there's nothing
- 41:19Speaker 2: but event companies, outsourcing to Salt Lake City?
- 41:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:25Speaker 2: I like, I get that she does Sundance and that's
- 41:27Speaker 2: very impressive. And also she's the only ticket in town.
- 41:31Speaker 1: How dare you? Own it.
- 41:35Speaker 2: Yeah. I'd like to see it, you know, and here's
- 41:40Speaker 2: the thing again, very simply solved. Pull out your phone
- 41:45Speaker 2: and show us that email.
- 41:47Speaker 1: Okay.
- 41:49Speaker 2: Very simply. Just show us the email. Here it is.
- 41:57Speaker 2: How I got invited.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:00Speaker 2: So easy. And unless that email.
- 42:05Speaker 2: .
- 42:07Speaker 1: Who's. Whose outfit did you
- 42:15Speaker 1: like the best? Do you remember some of them in
- 42:17Speaker 1: the greens? Like we had Bronwyn's. Wait, Heather Gay is
- 42:23Speaker 1: like as big as a minute now. And she's in
- 42:26Speaker 1: these little sequined booty shorts and this like cropped leather
- 42:31Speaker 1: blazer belted number with the cleavage. And I'm like, damn, girl. Like,
- 42:37Speaker 1: holy shit. She just is like a completely different person.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, and I'm telling you, just accidentally this morning
- 42:45Speaker 2: when I went back in, I pulled up a season
- 42:49Speaker 2: two party. I don't like to comment on people's appearances,
- 42:58Speaker 2: but Heather is a VIP. A different.
- 43:02Speaker 1: Very different.
- 43:03Speaker 2: Very different. And so she looked great. And I'm not
- 43:08Speaker 2: talking about size. I'm a bigger woman. I just think
- 43:11Speaker 2: that Heather owning the beauty lab, she's finally really utilizing
- 43:15Speaker 2: all the equipment to her greatest advantage. Yeah.
- 43:18Speaker 1: And, you know, she has the money to do it.
- 43:21Speaker 1: That's the thing. Yeah.
- 43:23Speaker 2: And the space. If I own the beauty lab, I'm
- 43:26Speaker 2: on here. You don't know who you're talking to. You're like,
- 43:28Speaker 2: where's Jamie? I'm like, what are you asking? It's me.
- 43:32Speaker 2: I'm here.
- 43:37Speaker 1: All right. Well, before we wrap, one more thing.
- 43:39Speaker 2: Angie.
- 43:41Speaker 1: Said the last two years she and Sean have been
- 43:44Speaker 1: avoiding each other, not hugging or kissing, and now that
- 43:49Speaker 1: is our first little tip into what we are going
- 43:51Speaker 1: to experience this season with the breaking up of their marriage.
- 43:55Speaker 1: And I have to say, I'm sad for Angie. I really,
- 43:58Speaker 1: really am.
- 44:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that being married was very important to her.
- 44:03Speaker 2: I think that the dissolution... The dissolvation of their marriage
- 44:10Speaker 2: is going to be very sad. And I thought that
- 44:13Speaker 2: the word she said about marriage when she was talking
- 44:15Speaker 2: about Robert Sr. was very interesting. You're picking someone who
- 44:21Speaker 2: has to be by your side in many different scenarios.
- 44:26Speaker 2: You're choosing someone. And it made me think of this
- 44:30Speaker 2: thread I saw recently that said, when you get married
- 44:35Speaker 2: to someone, You need to be thinking about every day.
- 44:39Speaker 2: You need to be thinking, do I want to be
- 44:40Speaker 2: with this person on an average Tuesday? I thought that
- 44:44Speaker 2: was so interesting.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Wow.
- 44:46Speaker 2: Isn't that? It's like, what's their vibe on an average Tuesday?
- 44:50Speaker 2: Can I deal with that for the rest of my life?
- 44:52Speaker 2: And so I think Angie would have been down. I
- 44:55Speaker 2: think he's the one who's straying or walking away or
- 44:57Speaker 2: whatever the hell he's doing. but they didn't solve it
- 45:00Speaker 2: as it started. And now it's snowballed and it's hard
- 45:03Speaker 2: to come back. It's hard to come back.
- 45:04Speaker 1: I mean, for, to say two years, you know, and that, yeah,
- 45:07Speaker 1: once you get into that pattern and you're, you just
- 45:11Speaker 1: have locked each other out. Crazy, right?
- 45:13Speaker 2: Locked. You're right. That's a great way to put it.
- 45:15Speaker 2: Locked out. So we're going to see, I believe I
- 45:18Speaker 2: predict in this season, we're going to see a Whitney
- 45:20Speaker 2: and Justin. They're done. I think.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, she moved up to the other room,
- 45:26Speaker 1: so it's definitely done. Yeah.
- 45:28Speaker 2: But they're taking their time with it. Like, they're really
- 45:31Speaker 2: checking in. I mean, it appears to me at first
- 45:34Speaker 2: glance he would rather not be done.
- 45:37Speaker 1: I think you're right.
- 45:39Speaker 2: And then with Angie and Sean, I personally think Angie
- 45:42Speaker 2: and Sean are more headed to divorce than Whitney and
- 45:46Speaker 2: what's her husband's name? Justin.
- 45:48Speaker 1: Justin, yeah.
- 45:49Speaker 2: Yeah. I have a feeling that the more screwed is
- 45:53Speaker 2: Angie and Sean.
- 45:55Speaker 1: I agree. Do you? Absolutely.
- 45:58Speaker 2: What do you think, darlings? Weigh in on the comments.
- 46:02Speaker 3: Weigh in, darlings.
- 46:04Speaker 2: On it.
- 46:05Speaker 1: Jamie, you have a show coming up. Do you want
- 46:08Speaker 1: to plug that?
- 46:10Speaker 2: No. Do you know something I know?
- 46:12Speaker 1: I just saw on Instagram that you're doing some show. No, no, no.
- 46:17Speaker 2: That's the Oscars, and I will be there. No, that's
- 46:21Speaker 2: a podcast called College Town that they just dropped today.
- 46:26Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 46:27Speaker 2: On Comedy Bang Bang. But you have to be a
- 46:29Speaker 2: subscriber to Comedy Bang Bang. So if you want to
- 46:32Speaker 2: come hear that, please do. Or just stay over here
- 46:35Speaker 2: with us. Okay.
- 46:36Speaker 1: Hey, either or. I love Comedy Bang Bang. And Jamie,
- 46:41Speaker 1: people can find you at Jam Detroit over on the Instagram.
- 46:44Speaker 1: And then on TikTok, are you also Jam Detroit?
- 46:47Speaker 2: Yeah. Across all media platforms.
- 46:52Speaker 1: And at the Oscars. So.
- 46:55Speaker 2: Which I'm invited to every year. Every year. On it.
- 47:00Speaker 2: On it.
- 47:01Speaker 1: Bye, everybody. Bye. Thanks for listening. Drama, darling.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Drama, darling. Drama, darling.
