- 0:00Like an Amanda in the morning, Big Nutty eight point seven. But this
- 0:03is wild. Women are flocking the social media to share the fact that they
- 0:10are breaking up with their boyfriends because of the Barbie movie. Why do they
- 0:15think they're gonna get Ken? What am I missing? Well, of course
- 0:18they think, yeah, no, they need they after they're down on their
- 0:22luck. They don't already have a Ken. No. The problem is that
- 0:25the movie, which we have not seen, were the only two in the
- 0:27world that happened. I know, I feel like I need to go just
- 0:30because everybody's talking about it. But every person that I know went said it
- 0:33was super cheesy. They were laughing about it, and it was almost one
- 0:37of those things you just went to because you said, can say I went
- 0:40to the Barbie movie? Well, a lot of people are loving it,
- 0:42Amanda. In fact, the feminist themes of the movie are driving women to
- 0:47reevaluate their relationships. This woman says, did anyone watch Barbie and suddenly want
- 0:53to break up with their boyfriend? Or was that just me? It was
- 0:55not just her. This woman said, oh stop it. She she got
- 1:00unmatched on Hinge the dating app after she told the guy that Barbie is an
- 1:04experience and Oppenheimer is just a film that was enough to drive the guy away
- 1:10from her. Okay, but people are saying basically they're revaluing their relationships.
- 1:14They're using the movies a litmus test. So basically, the guy doesn't like
- 1:17the movie, or if he judges the movie or judges the girl for liking
- 1:21the movie, they're gone breaking up with him. This is absolutely insane,
- 1:26Like, I am so thankful, I am not single. I couldn't do
- 1:30it. We were just talking about that. Yeah, it does sound exhausting.
- 1:33Yeah, have you ever what's the sillious reason he ever broke up with
- 1:36somebody? I broke up with this girl one time. And this was like
- 1:38when I was a child, you know, when dating was really serious.
- 1:41Yeah, but I was dating this girl, and I get the feeling that
- 1:44nobody else liked her, or at least like the group, you know,
- 1:49I like the fact that I was dating or so they were like pressuring me
- 1:52into breaking up with her, and then we ended up betting on a like
- 1:53a you know when you'd go to the gym. I think it was like
- 1:56during winter when recess was inside or whatever. Yeah, so we're playing like
- 2:00a basketball, like lightning or whatever it was called. And they said basically,
- 2:04if you lose, you got to break up with that girl. And
- 2:07I'm like, well, I ain't gonna lose. Well, I'm playing basketball.
- 2:10You should have been on the wrestling matt then you would have really,
- 2:13really would have been married in the morning. What are we calling a man?
- 2:22Hey? I wait for it? Oh, I know, wait for
- 2:23it. What do you do? It's a hypothetical situation game. We give
- 2:30each other just brutally difficult moral dilemmas and it is up to up to us
- 2:35to decide what we do. Play along in your car. It's very fun.
- 2:38We should make like a board game version for you know, the family
- 2:40on Friday. Oh for sure. Yeah, feel free to use these predicaments
- 2:44if you'd like to. Absolutely, Amanda first up, hit me with it.
- 2:49Well, you know, life can be pretty crazy. Sometimes you can
- 2:51be down on your luck. Let's just say, Pike, you lose your
- 2:53job. Times are tough. Nobody is hiring, not like right now.
- 3:00This isn't a different time of life. Like nobody is hiring. You can
- 3:02fast food, gig nothing. There's only two places. You can either be
- 3:07a grave digger or a crime scene cleaner. That's it only two jobs,
- 3:13grave digger or crime miss scene cleaner. So pike, yikes, I know
- 3:22tough. I mean, there's gotta be like a mechanism that digs the hole.
- 3:24This is you are shoveling with your it's just hand shovel scoop and graves.
- 3:30I mean people die in the winter too, Oh they do. I
- 3:35thought that was exclusively a summer activity. Saying you're gonna have to go through
- 3:39the ton and stuff too. I'm really setting this scene for you. Well,
- 3:44I will say digging is the worst thing ever. Growing up, my
- 3:46dad always had something to dig. I saw he did it just for fun.
- 3:50He would just what. We would come and my dad would pull in
- 3:52with a big truck for a big trailer full of sand, and he'd be
- 3:55like, all right, shovel up, boys. I remember one summer we
- 3:58spent the entire summer, my brother and I digging around the house. He
- 4:01wanted us to dig the rocks out of the dirt, the rocks out of
- 4:04the dirty man. I never, to this day, I don't understand why
- 4:08we were doing Why you did that? Probably just for fun. You good
- 4:10life lesson, you know, good a good place for Rocks is underground.
- 4:15Oh boy, long story short, all right, sorry, I guess I
- 4:17know that's just gonna get you heated up. But apparently you have some experiences.
- 4:21Give me some rubber gloves in a mom, I'm cleaning up the crime
- 4:25scene, really even like a horrendous crime scene. I'm just call him sick.
- 4:29All right? All right, Amanda, what are you doing? Number
- 4:31two? You're twenty two and single at we FESTO? So Amanda? Oh
- 4:38god, without getting into two much detail, No, you're twenty two,
- 4:44you're single, you're at we Fest. You haven't showered in days. It's
- 4:47Saturday, okay, Yeah, I'm hot, sticky. You run out of
- 4:50food, You're desperate, you don't know what to do. Suddenly a man
- 4:56comes up to you. Not a bad looking man either, a little older,
- 4:59but man. He says, hey, hon, I got myself a
- 5:02hot shower, a warm meal. I'm over in VIP impressive. Why don't
- 5:09you come back with me? Only catches? He graduated high school with your
- 5:14dad, so Amanda. So he's my dad's friend. Maybe they know he
- 5:25what do you do? A hot shower? Yeah? Rinse off, eat
- 5:29the meal and get back to twenty I'm going back to Hilltop. Really.
- 5:31Yeah, Oh, you don't have some sort of obligation after all that this
- 5:34guy puts you up. I mean you're just gonna leave. Yeah, he
- 5:38can walk me back politely to hilltop. I think he just wants your companion.
- 5:42If he wants to come hanging Hilltop with me, go for it.
- 5:45You ain't walking all the way back to hip. Hopefully he has a golf
- 5:47cart too, and he can get me back. Funny, you should bring
- 5:50that up. So I also have one for you here. You happen to
- 5:54score tickets too. We Fest believe you get an invited backstage to the Pranson
- 6:00Pony. What is that? Remember Prance and Pony backstage they have like that.
- 6:03There was like that all you can eat buffet and run. Yeah,
- 6:06okay, that's where like the artists and stuff hang out. Yeah for somebody
- 6:10that hadn't been backstage. Yeah, but the Pranson Pony, it's it's very
- 6:15good, very Yeah. So you get all you can eat buffet, you
- 6:17get to meet all the artists. Uh, there's even a meet and greet
- 6:20for one of your faves. Kurt Cousins. Why he why is a big
- 6:26wee Fest guy Vikings player. He loves it he goes up there. He's
- 6:29a big wee Fest guy. Lying. If somebody's listening for the first time,
- 6:31they're thinking, oh, this guy's a big Vikings fan. I hate
- 6:33the If you watch Quarterbacks on Netflix, you'd know he is a huge wei
- 6:38Fest fan. I am making this up hypothetical situation. Remember, so you
- 6:43get to enjoy this amazing experience. The only catch is you have to hang
- 6:48out just you and Kirk the whole weekend. You have to wear Vikings gear
- 6:54and just act like you're like love the Vikings and you get to experience all
- 6:58of that, okay, just to Claire fight all of that just for the
- 7:01free meal. No, and you get to meet the artist like you get
- 7:04the whole backstage experience. Who's the artist of Walnuts or what's his name?
- 7:10Morgan wall In Tonight's Brad Paisley, Tomorrow night, Cane Brown maybe his wife
- 7:15will be out there, Okay, and many more. Let's rapid bike hurt
- 7:24boy. I'm trying to keep it all straight here. I know it's a
- 7:27wild one. Vikings gear all weekend, purple people eater. You just gotta
- 7:35say the thing and we gotta move on. Oh yeah, what do you
- 7:39do okay, thank you. None. Literally, I don't care about any
- 7:43of that at all. I'm gonna get a tea time at Rose Creek,
- 7:46That's what I'm gonna do. Wow, Dannon down, you're just a new
- 7:48guy. What do you mean? A new guy? When was I ever
- 7:51interested in any of that? Except for the food part that sounded amazing.
- 7:55But there's places, there's establishments in town, all right, Amanda, last
- 7:59one you do. You're in the cash wise parking lot. You just get
- 8:05back to that big suburban of yours after a quick run in just to grab
- 8:07a pack of hot dogs and a four pack of wine. It's four pack
- 8:13of wine. It's Friday night party time. Anyway, As you're backing that
- 8:20big vehicle out of your spot, you get a text message. You start
- 8:26reading it. Of course, suddenly you hear a thud. Oh you've backed
- 8:33into the vehicle behind you. So you get out and look. Nobody's in
- 8:37sight, not a person. The vehicle a two thousand and four Pontiac Grand
- 8:43Prix with considerable rust. You look for damage. You see a slight ding,
- 8:48a little scratch, but again, nobody around. Nobody, So,
- 8:54Amanda, not a soul. Nobody can see me not a jacker in sight.
- 9:03What do you do? Are the Ambassador hot dogs? Because they are.
- 9:07I'm going right home at here four back a wide an Ambassadors. That
- 9:13is all mama needs. I'll just scoot away, you animal. Yeah,
- 9:18I didn't realize the hot dog would play this much of a factory. Like
- 9:24in a minute in the morning on Big Nutty eight point seven joint Bachelor and
- 9:33Bachelor atte parton' what are you a good idea? Bad idea? Yeah,
- 9:35I'm all about it. I think it's super cool. It's also kind of
- 9:37like a mini Vay case. So if I was going to be in a
- 9:39wedding and it's, hey, I get to go hang out with my husband,
- 9:41kind of do that, but also you're with your closest friends. Yeah.
- 9:43Well, I'm going on one here actually later this month for my sister
- 9:46in lawn Or, which is exciting. But this one went horribly, horribly
- 9:50wrong. It's blowing up the internet because this woman wrote in about the joint
- 9:54Bachelor and Bachelor atte party she went on for her sistery. Now, it
- 9:58just went wrong in every possible way. It ended up resulting in one impending
- 10:03divorce, one arrest, and three breakups. Now here's what went down.
- 10:09I'm excited to know where they went. It was in Las Vegas. Okay,
- 10:11okay. They were on a bus that was to take them around to
- 10:15different dancing clubs. Ever been on one of those? Good time, good,
- 10:18good time unless this stuff happens. So several people have dropped out of
- 10:22the wedding altogether. The worst thing that happened. This is just one of
- 10:26the instances. The cousin of the bride hooked up with another member of the
- 10:31wedding party on said bus. Now, the only problem, this woman's boyfriend
- 10:37was also on the trip. Oh my gosh. He was later arrested for
- 10:41trying to break into the bus while it was happening. People were cheering him
- 10:48on as he they were this is not real now. She went on to
- 10:54explain that this group, the bachelor and bachelorette party, had a pretty entangled
- 10:58romantic a stream, a lot of what a crisscrossing going on? Sounds like
- 11:03it. Yeah, you know when you've been to a wedding and he looked
- 11:05up there and you see the bridesmaids and the groomsmen, It's like you could
- 11:09draw a little diagram. My brother's wedding was like that all the groomsmen.
- 11:13I was like, oh hi, guys, that going you Yeah, and
- 11:16then I walked on the day not one of them. Oh good? Was
- 11:20that on purpose? Yeah? And you know we played spin the bottle a
- 11:24lot. I kissed a lot of those boys nights growing up. Yeah.
- 11:26Yeah, same in our wedding. Yeah, it was literally it was like,
- 11:28yeah, well, probably shouldn't have these two together. And you know
- 11:31it was kind of a fun little yeah, but this one that muld just
- 11:35be a game. You know when people are just sitting there, it's like,
- 11:39okay, I'm at this at this wedding. You should just have it
- 11:41on the back of like a program if you're doing that for a wedding,
- 11:45Like who do you think looked up here? Yeah? A little match game
- 11:48where you gonna do like an elementary worksheet. Yeah, you connect the dots
- 11:50with bridesmaids or something like in a minute in the morning, Big Nuddy eight
- 11:58point seven. You know, when you move in with your partner for the
- 12:00first time, the first time moving together, you learn a lot of things.
- 12:01Right, Well, this guy's gone viral because when he moved in with
- 12:05his girlfriend. They've been together for five months living together now, and he
- 12:07realized that when she cooks, and she cooks all the meals, she doesn't
- 12:11exactly make very big portions. Portion control lady. Huh. And my man
- 12:16is two hundred and thirty pounds, he says, and he works a very
- 12:20physical labor job. So when he comes home, he's a hungry boy.
- 12:24Yeah, he's ready for some meat and taters. Round two three may just
- 12:28kidding, but she's making little you know, like you you go to a
- 12:30fancy restaurant. That's why, I oh, I know, it's like these
- 12:33little what do they call him? When you go and you get these lake
- 12:35ballplates? Yeah, but what's it called. It's like something Tapa That to
- 12:43me is like a nail's on a chalkboard. Oh, it's Tappa's style.
- 12:46I'm like, no, give me a buffet. Well, this guy he
- 12:50finally had enough and so he started pre gaming his meals that his girlfriend would
- 12:56cook pre game, not alcohol. Literally would have to stop on the way
- 13:01home and eat before he ate at home. That's really funn here. So
- 13:03I got to be to the point where he's like, why can't keive this
- 13:05not sustainable? So he brought it up to her. He said, hey,
- 13:07he's gonna say, at what point do you just sit down and say,
- 13:11hey, honey, do you think you can make an extra meal,
- 13:13Like, let's act like there's three of us here. After five months,
- 13:16that's when so he did, and she broke down. He said, she
- 13:20took it horribly with very upset. She said that she felt like a failure
- 13:24is a girlfriend that she couldn't even cook a proper meal for her man,
- 13:28which also like lady chill, Well it's not the sixties. Yeah, don't
- 13:33sweat it. He can make his own food of these early then, right.
- 13:35But it's funny because this is one of those things that when you move
- 13:37in with somebody for the first time, you learn a lot. It's a
- 13:41big risk. You know. You see people that way. They can date
- 13:43for years, but they move in and suddenly it's over. Yeah. The
- 13:46only thing I this is also a kitchen related cooking thing. My husband in
- 13:50an amazing cook. I when I cook, it's I pick up after I
- 13:54do everything. I like to sit down with a clean kitchen to eat a
- 13:58meal. Yeah, this man is a wild man, like he will go
- 14:01Just yesterday we were making smashburgers and he every kind of season he doesn't just
- 14:09like put it on the hamburger, like the hamburger meat. It is all
- 14:13over the counter, Like what are you doing, like just dash it on?
- 14:16You're not Emerald, dude, You're not kicking it up And now sign
- 14:18of a good cook. Got a messy kitchen and I hate to complain about
- 14:22it because it's grateful, but I'm just like wiping up behind him and that
- 14:26annoys him. But I'm like, I need to get this done. Lauren
- 14:30and I we moved in together, like we were hardly dating. It was
- 14:33one of those things where like Elise was coming up and she you know,
- 14:35we knew we were gonna be like staying together bunch. So it's like,
- 14:37I don't I don't even care. I know people don't do it, but
- 14:41it's like, all right, worst case scenario, we break up, somebody
- 14:43moves out. Yeah, it's like not the end of the world, you
- 14:46know what I mean. I'd rather do that than pay two rents. Don't
- 14:48be ridiculous when you know you know right, Pike, when you know you
- 14:52know, when you know you know that's right. I really I gambled in
- 14:54What was it do you always complain about her hair? Was that something that
- 14:58I never encounter in my life, the amount of hair that that woman sheds.
- 15:03And apparently she'll claim that it's every woman, but I yes, no,
- 15:05my husband, that is one of his biggest things. He's like,
- 15:07he'll be let's just say at work, and he's like, there is a
- 15:11hair thing that somehow was in my pants pocket, right o, God of
- 15:16hair. I'll be going to the bathroom literally and like in my underwear.
- 15:20I'll start, I'm like, okay, what is this And I'll pull out
- 15:24a ten inch dark hair and I go, well, I thought I was
- 15:28taking care of things a little better than that, but nope, somehow got
- 15:31caught in there. Must be the laundry or something I don't know. Oh
- 15:35yeah, somehow gets in there and wrap around. Sorry, what do you
- 15:39want us to do? Shave our heads? Now? There's an idea like
- 15:45Ama in the morning on Big Nutty eight points seven. You're ready ready?
- 15:50That's he is piping hot today, No stills that see. Let's see well,
- 15:56tickets go on sale today. Pike for John, John Pete you excited
- 16:00about? Yes? Yeah, John Wilkes Booth, John Michael Montgomery, my
- 16:07dad John and uh Pete Pete Wentz from Fall Up Boy, No, John
- 16:12Mulan Melaney, We've got Pete Davidson and John Stewart. They're all headed out
- 16:17on a comedy tour. I mean, I that sounds fine. Have you
- 16:21ever even seen a comedy show? Yeah, I've gone to Kevin Hurt,
- 16:23Okay Hart, keV Kevin Hurt hilarious. Yeah, there's okay. So yeah,
- 16:27when I loved in Colorado, I went to a lot more comedy shows.
- 16:30But yeah, my wife Lauren Hayes comedy Oh really. I drug her
- 16:33do with Norm McDonald show one time, and she didn't think it was very
- 16:37funny. I'm surprised we made We weren't even married. I'm surprised we proceeded
- 16:41with our relationship after that. That's kind of funny. Yeah, I think
- 16:45that's funny. When you go somewhere and somebody doesn't find it funny and you're
- 16:48just dying, it's like, how are you not laughing at this? Yeah?
- 16:52Well good, John, John and Pete good And this is mind blowing
- 16:56to me. Tory Spelling and her five kids are currently living in an RV
- 17:00at a California campground. So remember she's had a lot of financial issues.
- 17:06She's going through a divorce. She left her house because some sort of extreme
- 17:10mold problem that they're talking about him, Like, what kind of mold problem
- 17:12could make you have to leave your house this bad and all like black mold.
- 17:15It's really bad for you, I know, But then that would be
- 17:19what we live in? An RV? Well, what kind of RV is
- 17:23it? Well, it's got to be a big one because she has a
- 17:26sixteen of fifteen? Uh, like eleven and a six? Is it the
- 17:30one from a Is it the RV from the Goofy movie? Remember that one?
- 17:33I love that movie. I just tried to get just tried to get
- 17:37my kids to watch the Goofy movie. They watched a little bit of it,
- 17:41and they weren't. They weren't feeling it. Are you kidding? So
- 17:44I continued to watch trying. Yeah, that movie holds up a lot of
- 17:48movies when you were a kid, like, they don't hold up like We're
- 17:51back. You've ever tried to watch it or not? We're back a land
- 17:52before time. I mean as an adult, it's like hot trash. But
- 17:56Goofy movie still holds up that and one of my other favorites, Beauty and
- 18:00the Beast, No one's a classic. Yeah, okay, now you're just
- 18:04naming popular dish mermaid. Yeah. The list goes on. All right,
- 18:11the drama continues, and I just don't know how I feel about this situation.
- 18:15Yesterday we told you Lizzo basically said all these accusations against her, they're
- 18:19a lie. Obviously is what she was going to be saying. But these
- 18:23three dancers, they're still speaking out. They say Lizzo has failed her own
- 18:27brand and they let down her fans. They are so upset about her response.
- 18:32They say her denial of this behavior only adds to the emotional distress that
- 18:36they've had, and they're saying she lacks empathy, and it's quite telling about
- 18:41her character. Now, I thought I had read everything, but Pike,
- 18:45you informed me of a banana. Kept seeing memes and references to a banana
- 18:49when it came to the Lizzo situation. I'll admit I didn't read the whole
- 18:52article, and so I was like, well, there's enough highlights, though,
- 18:55well what could it be about the banana? And I read and if
- 18:57you haven't heard yet, you want to google end if you want like the
- 19:00full details, because obviously we're we're not able to say exactly, its gruesome.
- 19:04But when the whole situation where she was trying to force the dancers to
- 19:08take part in an act at a dance club in the Red Light district in
- 19:11Amsterdam, yea, it involved a banana, We'll just say that, and
- 19:15not your traditional way of eating a banana. No. And also that is
- 19:21just very bizarre. But boys out there, that's like we're telling that story
- 19:27still today. That's hilarious. But if you're forcing somebody to do it,
- 19:30that's just it. It just seems crazy to me. And they are acting
- 19:33like it's because they would have lost their jobs. And if that is the
- 19:36case, Lizza, what are you doing being an idiot? I don't know.
- 19:41Is this going to cancel her? No, of course, people are
- 19:42going to be over it by Monday. No. Yeah, I mean,
- 19:45listen, it's probably gonna get these people paid. If that's what they're after.
- 19:48She probably is not as great of a person as we once thought.
- 19:52But otherwise, I don't that kind of everybody is. Everybody has like a
- 19:55side you're like, oh yeah, oh yeah, except for us. When
- 19:57I'm hungry, don't I'm near me like in a minute in the morning,
- 20:02Big Nutty eight point seven. I'm a sucker for we gotta give these Jonas
- 20:06Brothers tickets away. They're coming to the Layer Center. Can't buy tickets till
- 20:08later this morning. But we have Caller nine on the phone. Good morning,
- 20:11Good morning. Hey. What's your name? My name is Darcy?
- 20:15All right, Darcy? What you're doing this morning? Working? Working?
- 20:18She is in the zone al ready for the weekend. What do you do
- 20:22for that job of yours? Um? I am a team lead for a
- 20:26financial sending company. Fancy pans. I love it. It sounds really good,
- 20:30but it's one of those jobs where I don't have any follow ups,
- 20:33you know what I mean. It sounds fun though, Darcy. You're caller
- 20:37nine. By the way, I think I said that. Okay, all
- 20:41right, so here's the deal. Jonas Brothers, we got two tickets for
- 20:42you. Are you a big fan, big Joe Bros. Fan? My
- 20:45daughter is, Oh, I'm gonna love this, all right. So here's
- 20:48the deal. We're gonna play our new game that we just invented not long
- 20:52ago, called we Wheel of Imprussians. All right, So here's the deal.
- 20:56We got a big wheel in the studio, Darcy, and we're gonna
- 20:59give it a big spin and whoever it lands out, we got a bunch
- 21:00of celebrities on there. You gotta give us your best impression of that person.
- 21:04And if we deem it acceptable, you'll win the tickets. Okay,
- 21:08and turned Gracie is still out at we Fest, so I'll give her a
- 21:12spin for you. Are you ready? I kind of wanted to do it,
- 21:15but oh, all right, go ahead, No, you called it?
- 21:18All right, there's a wheel spin And who do we got? Oh?
- 21:23Okay, Oh Darcy, your daughter is gonna love this one. Darcy.
- 21:27We need from you your best impression of Kermit the Frog whenever you're ready.
- 21:36Kermit the Frog familiar. Yeah, well we got to hear it.
- 21:41Patrick Mahomes and Luke Bryan sound like it as well. That helps, Yeah,
- 21:45you know one of their impressions. It might work. And you can
- 21:48say any You can say anything, literally anything, and I'll tell you the
- 21:52bar is pretty low, like we'll take almost anything. But we just need
- 21:55a little efforts the front. I'm here, I'm here, I'm to get
- 22:02something. Job all right, say how are we doing today? Miss Piggy?
- 22:08Are we doing today? Miss Piggy? All right? One more time
- 22:12for those in back. Try it again. If you say something like a,
- 22:18boy, I sure love to win these Jonas Brothers tickets. Boy,
- 22:22sure love to win these Jonas tickets. All right, let's up, we
- 22:26gotta go to the judges. You have to confirm this one. Here we
- 22:29go. What do you think judges could have been like, Okay, oh
- 22:41my gosh, you were going to the Jonas Brothers or your daughter is,
- 22:44but she is gonna love it, and uh, you can tell her that
- 22:47you humiliated yourself doing it. Wasn't humiliating. I listen, No, it's
- 22:52fun. You don't always have to be great. You just have to be
- 22:55good enough, and in this case, you were good enough. Things we
- 22:57do for our kids. Add that to the list. Mama. There you
- 23:00got it in the morning. Seven. Well, you're seeing it all over
- 23:06social media. Everybody is sacking about we Fest and whether you're out there or
- 23:10couldn't get in, or you're like us, going, whoa, this is
- 23:14something. It's the fortieth anniversary and Morgan Wallen, I guess was rocking it
- 23:18last night. But I think whoa, whoa, whoa. No, everybody
- 23:21is saying it was an absolute bleep show, but they got to see Morgan
- 23:23Wallen and they're happy about it. But we're talking people who spent a ton
- 23:27of money to go out in VIP. They're rolling in there and they don't
- 23:32have electricity. Oh, they're trying to get people generators. Were being told
- 23:36that some people had tickets last night and then they got pushed out because they
- 23:38didn't have enough space. But then all of a sudden, the GM Mark
- 23:41Berkey, great guy, he said, yeah, we actually let three hundred
- 23:45people in for free because we wanted to make sure they got in there.
- 23:47But they were just waiting hoping to get let in. I don't know.
- 23:51And of course, if you're somebody who bought your tickets and then you find
- 23:52out people are getting in for free, that's not going to make you feel
- 23:56too good. I wonder where intern Gracie is. She was waiting all day
- 23:59in the pit. You the person that stands at the stage, just waiting
- 24:02all day, not going to the bathroom, dehydrating herself. So I haven't
- 24:04heard from her, have you? Yeah? No, I got a picture
- 24:07of her and one of my girlfriends yesterday and that was it. But I
- 24:10didn't see any pictures of Morgan wall and Chase, Rice or Bailey Zimmerman,
- 24:15So maybe she's hanging with Bailey. Probably is that the one she wanted the
- 24:18boot from. Yeah, she was hoping to get his shoe for some reason,
- 24:22perfectly normal behavior. I'm sure it worked out. I mean she had
- 24:25a sign that said I want your boot, so I'm sure out of everybody,
- 24:29he just tossed the shoe. Yeah, and speaking of shoes, Adidas
- 24:33is cashing in on yeasies. So I guess what was that was that back
- 24:38in December they basically said, now we're done with you after all of his
- 24:41anti wasn't in December, it might have been November, well, maybe back
- 24:47in November. Either way, they are, I guess apparently giving this back
- 24:51a portion of it to charity. But they only a quarter of them give
- 24:56him away. And it was four hundred and thirty seven million dollars that they
- 24:57had. That's a lot. Okay, all right, so Adidas given back.
- 25:03You love to see it. But when they say a portionable size of
- 25:07four hundred and thirty seven million, well they got to get theirs. But
- 25:11if you do like, oh it's a million, that's portionable, but it's
- 25:14notable, isn't that right? Or portion that's a portion of it. A
- 25:18lot happening here. Good for you, Ada, God, it's Friday,
- 25:25alcohol as me here. No, it is National Beer Day. Dust from
- 25:30Happy Here's Bottleshop's going to be in here about eight twenty one this morning,
- 25:33and hopefully he's bringing some goods. He usually does the International Beer Toy.
- 25:37Are you celebrating at this rate? Yes? I want to get out on
- 25:40the pontoon, just relax, enjoy the weekends. We were going to go
- 25:44out to weefs tomorrow and I'm like, I like, I love it.
- 25:48I go almost, I'd go any I head west? And what is It's
- 25:52making me a little anxious because even people who had tickets we're waiting in will
- 25:56call for like three hours. I just I don't have it in me.
- 26:00Okay, Well, National Beer Day. What's your favorite beer? Not like
- 26:04brand, but your favorite like you know, like the afterwork beer or the
- 26:07just kind of a one and done, a good beer, the first beer
- 26:11of a vacation, like shower beer. Ye see, I tend to either
- 26:17go Blue Moon or Summer Shandy. And You're, no, what do you
- 26:19mean that's a shower That's a beer you just name two brands? I said,
- 26:23what, Like, I'm talking a moment. I'm explaining to you what
- 26:27I mean. I mean, like a shower beer or the first beer of
- 26:30a vacation, Like, what's your favorite beer? That's what I'm telling you.
- 26:33A shower beer. I want a summer shandy. You're like a blue
- 26:37moon. Yeah, some summary, but then a first beer like in the
- 26:41winter, say it's a nice snow day. I'm diving right into a ConA
- 26:44big wave. I'm a seasonal drinker. I feel like we're still not on
- 26:48the same page here. Okay, take me take me to where you're going.
- 26:52What we're settled down? What are you talking? A lot of weird
- 26:56energy going on here? All I know you tell me you're in this hour.
- 27:00What are you drinking? I'm not asking about I'm talking to what,
- 27:03Like do you prefer a shower beer over the first beer after work on a
- 27:07Friday or the you know, first a golf course beer? My favorite time
- 27:12to have? Brands are irrelevant, Yes and no, I'm not taking you
- 27:18anywhere. I gotta go, Okay, I gotta go with today, the
- 27:23today beer. This depends. My favorite beer is the first high schoold beer
- 27:30on the pond took. That's where it got and it's gonna be a great
- 27:33day for that, sunny and eighty eight. And I hope everybody's still sleeping
- 27:37today. I hope so too. In the morning. Happy Harry's Bottle Shops.
- 27:45Always a pleasure to see you. Welcome, welcome, thank you,
- 27:48it's good to see you. Just been on a personal level. And then
- 27:49you know, it also indicates it Friday and things like that. He actually
- 27:52said last worry. He's like, oh, I can't wait for Gusting to
- 27:55get here, and I'm like, yeah, I can't wait. He's bringing
- 27:56a lot of good stuff. He's like yeah, And it's almost time then
- 27:59to like dive into drinks. And then it's the weekend. Sure you bring
- 28:02our weekend on the intro of the weekend, I said, absolutely, just
- 28:06the bright light in our lives. Maybe there shouldn't be like there shouldn't be
- 28:08National Beer Day or Nationally Imported Beer Day, whatever it is. They should
- 28:11be like National dustin Day right now, that's an idea. You all dustin's
- 28:15in the world there, you should throw a dustin dustin palloza, because you've
- 28:19seen stuff like that where it's like I forget what name it was. It
- 28:22was like, you know, Gregg or something, and they just had a
- 28:25gathering of the Gregs, and a bunch of greg showed up. Yes,
- 28:29why not be a great day or a really bad day? Who knows,
- 28:32very very boring. I don't know what. Dustin's one of those names.
- 28:34There are names where everyone you know with that name like kind of sucks,
- 28:37but Dustin's not one of them. I like, all right, well that's
- 28:41no me neither, not a single one. Yeah. Interesting, Yeah,
- 28:44anyway, all right, well digress. I know a lot of new fun
- 28:48products and really interesting and different products. This might be the weirdest selection of
- 28:52things I've I've brought to this show in a long time. We only have
- 28:57one beer, actually, which is high thing usual. Usually there's at least
- 29:00three beers right like the formula, but just one. It's from Fowners.
- 29:04This is their KBS or Kentucky Breakfast Stout. This is their Blueberry Imperial Stout.
- 29:10Sounds so good. I love everything blueberry. I hope that this is
- 29:14good. It sounds big, it's big. Yes, this is a big
- 29:15beer beer. Yes, okay, this would like the regular KBS. They're
- 29:22they're they're Breakfast out. Is is good? Like that could be you know
- 29:26a morning beer. This one here, I mean, I guess you could
- 29:29have it with like waffles and blueberries syrup. No, if I cracked one
- 29:33open right now, that would be my breakfast. That sounds probably in a
- 29:36coloric standpoint, right, you know I've been doing. We got a Blackstone
- 29:40grill? Did we talk about this? You know, like a griddle,
- 29:41and so it just we would make breakfast where the pancakes and eggs and hash
- 29:45browns and bacon all one big griddle. But I I feel like this would
- 29:48go well with that. Oh yeah, you probably would only get like two
- 29:52SIPs in because you're constantly doing something. Listen. I've always said that Blackstone
- 29:56is kind of like like if you have a grill a smoke, and then
- 30:00you have a Blackstone. The smokers like martini, sip it relaxed, the
- 30:06grills like beer glass wine, and the Blackstone's like a shot, like because
- 30:10that's all you have time for a shot, because you're just Habachi style trying
- 30:14to get everything done, for sure, But you could certainly give it an
- 30:17absolutely young Mike, you can do it well, thank you. I do.
- 30:19I do pride myself on my Blackstone skills. I went a lot of
- 30:23years and not feeling like a man. But finally now you do. I
- 30:26mean, there's nothing better than just having a big bunch of grease on your
- 30:29stomach because it's all splattered on you. It feels like my old Arby's days.
- 30:32A couple of burns on your leg here, ye all right? So
- 30:36that was the Founder's KBS Bulberry Imperial Stout, A couple of ciders. This
- 30:40one is super fun for those that like Mike's but they don't like that multi
- 30:44finish to it. Yep, louis Mike's do in these days, Mikes Mike
- 30:48has got a huge base. Yeah, it was kind of the first.
- 30:51I think last last week we're talking about acronyms and FMB category flavored malt beverage.
- 30:56Yeah, Mike's was basically the the father or brother of that category.
- 31:02Speaking of we fast, that is kind of one of those drinks that I
- 31:04remember that was an option. I remember just drinking a ton of Mike's hard
- 31:10lemonade out at West all the time. I mean, actually, our Happy
- 31:12Heeries thirty second Avenue store in Grand Forks built the world's largest Mike's display.
- 31:18It was like it went into the rafters. No way, that's cool.
- 31:22That's good. You're right there are synonymous with that product, right, It's
- 31:25like the Kleenex of flavored. Yeah. So, so the folks that Lou
- 31:29and Juice created uh Lemons Squeezy, So I love the name. This is
- 31:33a cider based uh fun lemonade drink. This one is uh lemon squeezy BlackBerry
- 31:41smash hard lemonade of course from the phrase easy peasy lemon squeezy. Oh yeah,
- 31:47I love it. I like the BlackBerry smash version of this. I'm
- 31:51excited. Yeah, this will be fun, this will be refreshing. It's
- 31:53gluten freeze, so this is nice. That doesn't can't have anything green based.
- 31:59And then also another cider from two Town Center Center House called Panat Fuego.
- 32:05It looks like it's crazy because it's chipotale pineapple, so it's peppers pineapple.
- 32:12I love that sweet spicy vibe. Yeah, I mean this would be
- 32:15great, like if you're having like a mango hab and arrow, like uh
- 32:19salsa or something that this would be just perfect pairing with that. So something
- 32:22super fun, mouth watering already really complex, a lot of different flavors going
- 32:27on, but that's what's kind of fun with and Dustin bringing the eye candy
- 32:30today on the internet for me out with us. Next one. Yeah,
- 32:32old Jason Momoa he decided to really some vodka. So it's called Melee Vodka.
- 32:37It's from It's from Bozeman, Montana. It's made with water from the
- 32:43aquifer springs of Montana. Is that good water? It must be phenomenal water
- 32:49because Jason Momoa is is in the video on his website or on the on
- 32:52the vodka's website, he's or he's coming out of the water like a mermaid
- 32:58yea, shaking his head, you know. So if you're putting it right
- 33:00on his lip, I mean, just a real eye candy situation going on
- 33:06there, could put me down with the bottle. It's a cool package.
- 33:09The glass all one. I took a little sip. It's not bad.
- 33:14I mean, it's you feel like you turn into Jason Momoa a bit.
- 33:17Well, it would be nice if if immediately my dad Bob would become not
- 33:21a dad Bob on you know, one sip of this. That would be
- 33:23a good campaign for them, if it would be what it would magic a
- 33:27lickxer, you know, but yeah, any kind of red bull thing like
- 33:30so if you're Jason Mulla fan or you're just a vodka fan. You like
- 33:31trade different things. It's mail vodka is brand new. Now this next product,
- 33:37Uh, it's kind of crazy because about ten years ago, we had
- 33:40a alcoholic whip cream and yes I remember that, and it took off and
- 33:45it was big, and then all of a sudden it got pulled way to
- 33:46pull from the shells because they had a problem with the bottle or the cans
- 33:52blowing up. Oh no, and the company was a very small company.
- 33:55They coudn't recover for it, so they went away. So you know that
- 34:00goes time. Yeah, that could goes by way. Better package from a
- 34:04new company, and this is called whip Shots and it's literally they have a
- 34:08mocha caramel and a vanilla. They're ten percent and it's it's whipped cream with
- 34:14alcohol. It looks exactly like the old Ready whip bottle pretty much, right,
- 34:16Oh yeah, I mean we're just in different colors and flavors. It
- 34:19looks like and there and they're ten percent. So you know that is aggressive.
- 34:22I was not expecting whoa going to the fridges? I mean literally,
- 34:29alcoholic blood slide and a blender with ice cream then you tap it with chop
- 34:31it off with it a little caramel. It's like a motor cream for your
- 34:37cocktail. Basically, for people who haven't made it out to we Fest yet,
- 34:40that would be a fun one to just kind of pass around a little
- 34:43too. Oh yeah, this would be fun. You're going out there,
- 34:45We're gonna go out tonight. Nice. There's a big headliner tonight, Brad
- 34:49Paisley. Yeah, it's a blue night, which is going to be really
- 34:52cool. They're honoring officers and everything out there in law enforcement. Uh.
- 34:55And actually one of my girlfriends who's out there had a chance to try these
- 35:00yesterday. They to the party for these, and so they're delicious. Yes,
- 35:02from Bartner, who is known for their their Mscott Dasti. This is
- 35:06their frascatta and it's their frozen wine cocktail pops. So you've seen those adult
- 35:10alcohol freezy pops. Oh yeah, and is this going to be the same
- 35:14situation. But these should freeze fast, yes, yes, you don't.
- 35:16The vodka ones just take a lot a little longer to a set up.
- 35:20These are wine basically should freeze a little bit quicker, um a lot more
- 35:22approachable. They're only five percent, so they're kind of sweet. Yeah.
- 35:25Yeah, they'll freeze a lot quicker. And that's just kind of fun.
- 35:28Whether they're going on a girl's weekend, bachelorette party, it's always nice to
- 35:30have something boys weekend, Yeah, boys too. Whatever is doing a little
- 35:35boys weekend. He's going up to DeLuise. Oh yeah, we are going
- 35:37to golfing. We're turning to the scene of the crime aka my wedding.
- 35:40Oh really yeah yeah, we're going up to the course there to play.
- 35:43Just get a quick round and come back. Oh your wife is going to
- 35:45no, no, to the scene of the crime. Now you want you
- 35:50live it? Oh that's awesome. And where do you where do you find
- 35:55those? At Happy Area? So we have them on the shelf. I
- 35:58think the guys put them and some of the freezers too. Okay, awesome,
- 36:01so anyhow there. Yeah, they're super fun. The retail for twenty
- 36:04five bucks, I think there's twelve in there or ten and I'm sorry there's
- 36:07ten or there's twelve pops in there. So perfect. Well, we got
- 36:09our homework cut out for us this weekend. Have a great weekend, and
- 36:13of course stop by Happy Here's bottleshops for all the new and fun. We'll
- 36:15post us on our Facebook page as well as you can see it all.
- 36:17Thanks Austin the Weekend
