  Speaker 1: share with you, the listener, how I pray. Or it's

  Speaker 1: one of my prayers. A lot of my prayers to

  Speaker 1: Jesus are very personal. But this one in particular is

  Speaker 1: going to be almost an instructional manual. you may say,
• 0:33
  Speaker 1: to how to pray. Because there's so many people that
• 0:38
  Speaker 1: don't know how to pray. And I don't believe that
• 0:41
  Speaker 1: they're being taught the right way. Because there is a
• 0:48
  Speaker 1: wrong way to pray. When you're using God by praying
• 0:54
  Speaker 1: to Jesus and manipulating the Holy Spirit, which is a
• 1:00
  Speaker 1: very bad sin, It takes a long time to be
• 1:03
  Speaker 1: forgiven for that. Using Jesus as like a genie is
• 1:09
  Speaker 1: not going to work. You will get discouraged. You will
• 1:13
  Speaker 1: fall back from your faith. So we're just going to
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: jump into it. And I want you to keep an
• 1:20
  Speaker 1: open mind and just an understanding of what this episode
• 1:26
  Speaker 1: really is a reflection of. And it is the Holy Spirit.

  Speaker 1: So let's get into prayer. Lord Father that art in
• 1:35
  Speaker 1: heaven I come to you in prayer I thank you
• 1:38
  Speaker 1: in advance for what you've done what you're doing and
• 1:42
  Speaker 1: what you're going to do regardless my emotions regardless my
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: thoughts regardless when the noise gets too loud help me
• 1:56
  Speaker 1: be reminded that your spirit is here with me your
• 2:01
  Speaker 1: consciousness that I put on each and every day Is
• 2:07
  Speaker 1: more than in effect. Help activate the Holy Spirit in me.
• 2:14
  Speaker 1: Help me not judge others. But help me be more
• 2:18
  Speaker 1: like you. When there is a time. To be able
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: to help by teaching someone. And not expecting something out
• 2:27
  Speaker 1: of it. Help me be there. Give me those opportunities.

  Speaker 1: To where I could shed my light. On somebody that's
• 2:34
  Speaker 1: in the darkness. I pray that your will be done.

  Speaker 1: Because your will is better than mine. I've tried mine.

  Speaker 1: As you know Lord. Because you know that I belong
• 2:54
  Speaker 1: to you. I pray. That anybody that is listening to

  Speaker 1: this episode. Not only. Has their faith strengthened at the
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: end of this episode. But they get into conversation with you.

  Speaker 1: As soon as possible. If not right after this episode.

  Speaker 1: Lord your ways are way better. Help us to be open.

  Speaker 1: To your ways. And now that I have included the listener, please, Lord,
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: touch them. Let them know that your presence is there.
• 3:45
  Speaker 1: Let them know that everything's going to be more than okay.
• 3:50
  Speaker 1: They have been in okay status for way too long.
• 3:56
  Speaker 1: Your plans for them to prosper, to not only follow you,
• 4:03
  Speaker 1: But to glorify you. Oh spirit. I pray. That I
• 4:12
  Speaker 1: continue to follow you Jesus. No matter what the enemy
• 4:18
  Speaker 1: places in front of me. To deceive me. Help me
• 4:23
  Speaker 1: have discernment. Help me be able. To realize what is
• 4:31
  Speaker 1: real and what is fake. I pray that the relationship
• 4:37
  Speaker 1: that will take place between the person that is very
• 4:45
  Speaker 1: close to me in my heart, that those prayers go
• 4:53
  Speaker 1: answered with divine intervention, divine protection. Help us lean not
• 5:00
  Speaker 1: on our own understandings, Heal us where we don't even
• 5:06
  Speaker 1: know that we are hurt. Where we are broken. Fix.

  Speaker 1: Help us be patient with you as you have been
• 5:21
  Speaker 1: patient with us. I thank you so much. You have
• 5:27
  Speaker 1: all of my trust. I put a little poem in there.

  Speaker 1: But there is no amount of worship. There is no
• 5:36
  Speaker 1: amount of praise. There is no amount of being even
• 5:41
  Speaker 1: like you that can measure up to what you have
• 5:44
  Speaker 1: been able to do for those that not only believe
• 5:48
  Speaker 1: in you but follow you. Your grace is enough. Your
• 5:58
  Speaker 1: love is unconditional. Unconditional. Your wisdom is sharp. I've said
• 6:09
  Speaker 1: this plenty of times, Lord. Help me just be a
• 6:11
  Speaker 1: quarter of you. I know that I will never be
• 6:15
  Speaker 1: perfect in finances. Never be perfect in relationships. Never be
• 6:21
  Speaker 1: perfect in anything that I even try my hardest at.
• 6:27
  Speaker 1: But where I lack, please, Lord, pick up the slack.
• 6:36
  Speaker 1: Help me continue to learn these life lessons. Help me
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: continue to be a better man. Help the people that
• 6:47
  Speaker 1: are in my life to be better people. Help me
• 6:55
  Speaker 1: continue to have the authority that you have given me
• 7:00
  Speaker 1: when I accepted thee. And even though I've given it
• 7:07
  Speaker 1: away and never really walked it until the last six months, Lord,
• 7:19
  Speaker 1: help me never take back my will 100% consistently. I know, Lord,
• 7:26
  Speaker 1: that I lack sometimes with doubt, self-pity, with guilt, with shame.
• 7:34
  Speaker 1: These things that the enemy are reminding me help me
• 7:38
  Speaker 1: realize that it is all lies, that it's all been forgiven.
• 7:46
  Speaker 1: I am made brand new as I continue to speak
• 7:51
  Speaker 1: these words of power over my life, over the ones
• 7:58
  Speaker 1: I love, their lives, their families. Do the rest, Lord.

  Speaker 1: Be the miracle. And everybody that I encounter with, help
• 8:11
  Speaker 1: them not to see just me and my outer appearance.
• 8:15
  Speaker 1: Help them to see you, Jesus. I thank you so
• 8:24
  Speaker 1: much for everything. And I don't want to be a repetitive...

  Speaker 1: On repeat. Like the Pharisees when they pray. The religious leaders.
• 8:46
  Speaker 1: Praying over their congregation. Praying over their church. There's sick
• 8:51
  Speaker 1: and suffering people out here, Lord. They need you. They
• 8:58
  Speaker 1: need your healing. Help them to be open to accept it.

  Speaker 1: Help me to never go back to be in a
• 9:16
  Speaker 1: low life, an alcoholic, a drug addict. For you saved
• 9:26
  Speaker 1: me out of that bondage. Help me remember That your
• 9:41
  Speaker 1: yoke is lighter. That I will not live by fear.
• 9:49
  Speaker 1: Or be scared out of fear. But live by faith.
• 9:54
  Speaker 1: For not what I see. Not by what I feel.
• 9:59
  Speaker 1: Not by what I experience. think at times help make

  Speaker 1: me brand new so true and help me for when
• 10:17
  Speaker 1: the world will hate me Help me be able to
• 10:21
  Speaker 1: take on that. Help me be able to glorify you
• 10:24
  Speaker 1: in my podcast, glorify you in my music, glorify you

  Speaker 1: in my praise, and to get deeper into connection with
• 10:36
  Speaker 1: you by spending time with you in prayer, meditation, worship.

  Speaker 1: Help me be able to share the gospel in a
• 10:48
  Speaker 1: way that not only just makes sense, but that the
• 10:54
  Speaker 1: Holy Spirit sinks in with mine. Help me not be
• 11:03
  Speaker 1: like the religious leaders, Lord, but help me be more
• 11:05
  Speaker 1: like you in the walk that you walked. Even your
• 11:10
  Speaker 1: own people questioned you after seeing you. Help me be
• 11:16
  Speaker 1: able to, when I read the word, And it talks
• 11:20
  Speaker 1: about you and your teachings and your love for your people.
• 11:28
  Speaker 1: Not always telling them what they want to hear, but
• 11:31
  Speaker 1: what they need to hear. As I continue to be
• 11:34
  Speaker 1: more of a truth seeker. Help me be able to
• 11:38
  Speaker 1: tap in to these abilities that have been in me
• 11:43
  Speaker 1: all along. The enemy saw me coming. Miles and miles
• 11:51
  Speaker 1: before I even realized what an enemy was. Now that
• 11:55
  Speaker 1: I know what I know. Help me apply it. In
• 12:00
  Speaker 1: every aspect of my life. I know how it feels
• 12:06
  Speaker 1: to be poor Lord. I also know how it feels
• 12:10
  Speaker 1: to be. Poor but rich in spirit. Help me never
• 12:19
  Speaker 1: to forget the pain. And anytime that the pain and
• 12:26
  Speaker 1: the stress and the anger consume me, help me channel it.
• 12:33
  Speaker 1: Help me be able to remember that I must work
• 12:37
  Speaker 1: on my temple. I must be willing to allow the
• 12:45
  Speaker 1: Spirit to do the leading. Not my flesh. Lord, I
• 12:55
  Speaker 1: love you. And I thank you for the third time
• 12:59
  Speaker 1: or fourth time in this prayer. The word thank you
• 13:05
  Speaker 1: is an understatement. I give my life to you. I've
• 13:10
  Speaker 1: tried not only my way, but the highway's way, other
• 13:15
  Speaker 1: people's ways. Help me stop being a chameleon for this world.
• 13:24
  Speaker 1: And help me protect the woman that I love. Bring
• 13:32
  Speaker 1: us together. Your will, Lord, always in the Lord Jesus
• 13:38
  Speaker 1: Christ's name I pray. Amen. So, I wanted to leave
• 13:45
  Speaker 1: about another minute or so to be able to tell
• 13:49
  Speaker 1: you that that right there in particular was a really
• 13:52
  Speaker 1: good prayer. But there is no really great prayer. You
• 14:04
  Speaker 1: come as you are. Now we've already talked about how
• 14:11
  Speaker 1: there's a wrong way to pray. You kind of just
• 14:15
  Speaker 1: heard the right way to But you got to make
• 14:20
  Speaker 1: it up on your own. What you want to say.

  Speaker 1: And I want to leave it at this. When you
• 14:31
  Speaker 1: really get into deeper prayer. The Holy Spirit takes over.
• 14:38
  Speaker 1: And says. What you can't say. Keep that in mind.
