Carolyn retired at age 49 with some prodding by her husband. For thirteen years after she retired, she found herself being the primary caregiver for her ailing parents. Just after her parents passed away, the unthinkable happened, she lost her husband as well. Life has certainly taken some twists, and she has had to rediscover herself and change her retirement plan. Baking, cooking, and volunteering are her passions now, and her kindness towards others shows through as she shares her journey.
