• 1 00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:02,600 It's still really a big damage. 2 00:00:02,600 --> 00:00:11,600 [MUSIC] 3 00:00:11,600 --> 00:00:17,000 >> Welcome everybody. 4 00:00:17,000 --> 00:00:20,400 Welcome to this week's "Dissonist to Real This Show." 5 00:00:20,400 --> 00:00:24,800 Episode number 825, for December 4, 2025. 6 00:00:24,800 --> 00:00:27,000 This is your Dimitrius Survivor Series War Game, 7 00:00:27,000 --> 00:00:33,000 and Reach-App and Review Edition of S-R-T-U. 8 00:00:33,000 --> 00:00:34,200 I am one after the show. 9 00:00:34,200 --> 00:00:36,600 I am Jeff Pack, joined every single week 10 00:00:36,600 --> 00:00:40,600 in my color, it's normally Dr. Frank Lind, Dr. Trey. 11 00:00:40,600 --> 00:00:45,000 Did some foreshadowing for WrestleMania 42 this past weekend, my friend? 12 00:00:45,000 --> 00:00:49,600 >> This is usually when the seeds are kind of planted. 13 00:00:49,600 --> 00:00:52,000 I mean, if you go back to last year, 14 00:00:52,000 --> 00:00:57,000 last year was CM Punk doing the favor for Paul Heyman, 15 00:00:57,000 --> 00:01:01,000 which then led to the WrestleMania Triple Threat Match. 16 00:01:01,000 --> 00:01:04,000 So if you're not getting them planted now, 17 00:01:04,000 --> 00:01:09,000 I guess your WrestleMania flowers won't bloom in time. 18 00:01:09,000 --> 00:01:13,000 I'm sorry, I'm sitting in front of a landscaping store, 19 00:01:13,000 --> 00:01:17,000 so I'm using nature metaphors right now. 20 00:01:17,000 --> 00:01:18,000 >> Yeah, I don't plan me. 21 00:01:18,000 --> 00:01:21,000 I mean, when you have the opportunity to mention blooming and flowers, 22 00:01:21,000 --> 00:01:24,000 as a metaphor, that's what you need to do. 23 00:01:24,000 --> 00:01:26,000 Those are the analogies that we live for my friends. 24 00:01:26,000 --> 00:01:31,000 So welcome, one in all, to this week's edition of S-R-T-U. 25 00:01:31,000 --> 00:01:33,000 Dr. Trey, we got a lot of ground to cover here, 26 00:01:33,000 00:02:23,000 Patreon.com/sartupodcast. 43 00:02:23,000 --> 00:02:27,000 And Dr. Trey and I will be trying to do some exclusive material 44 00:02:27,000 --> 00:02:29,000 up there throughout the month as well. 45 00:02:29,000 --> 00:02:31,000 That is a gauge right now, folks, 46 00:02:31,000 --> 00:02:34,000 that we are using to really see how the direction of the show 47 00:02:34,000 --> 00:02:36,000 can go for 2022. 48 00:02:36,000 --> 00:02:38,000 We want to know if you're a supporter, 49 00:02:38,000 --> 00:02:40,000 if you're a listener, just go there, sign up for free. 50 and support us. 53 00:02:46,000 --> 00:02:51,000 If you can, so please Patreon.com/sartupodcast. 54 00:02:51,000 --> 00:02:54,000 With that being said, let's do our recap of the review here 55 00:02:54,000 --> 00:02:56,000 at WWE Survivor Series War Game this past Saturday 56 00:02:56,000 --> 00:02:59,000 from Petco Park in San Diego, California. 57 00:02:59,000 --> 00:03:02,000 Dr. Trey, the first match here is the Women's War Games match 58 00:03:02,000 --> 00:03:05,000 as Rio, Rio Ripley and Eo Rio. 59 00:03:05,000 --> 00:03:08,000 Rio Ripley and Eo Sky, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair and AJ Lee 60 00:03:08,000 --> 00:03:11,000 defeat Nijax, Lash Legend, Oscar, Kyrie St and Becky Lynch 61 00:03:11,000 --> 00:03:13,000 to win the match. 62 00:03:13,000 --> 00:03:16,000 I both picked the babyface team to win this one. 63 00:03:16,000 --> 00:03:18,000 I thought the match was fine. 64 00:03:18,000 --> 00:03:22,000 It felt quick once Lash Legend got in the ring to set up the finish. 65 00:03:22,000 --> 00:03:25,000 Nothing really set out other than we have some potential storyline 66 00:03:25,000 --> 00:03:28,000 advanced with Oscar accidentally missing Lash Legend. 67 00:03:28,000 --> 00:03:30,000 So we may see the Women's Tag Division heat up, 68 00:03:30,000 --> 00:03:33,000 which I think is the case following this past Monday's edition 69 00:03:33,000 --> 00:03:34,000 and RAW as well. 70 00:03:34,000 --> 00:03:37,000 I felt like there could be some WrestleMania seats planted in this one, 71 00:03:37,000 --> 00:03:39,000 maybe Eo versus Becky at some point, 72 00:03:39,000 --> 00:03:41,000 following the Over the Moon salt to her, 73 00:03:41,000 --> 00:03:44,000 maybe Rea versus Charlotte based on some of the pre-match stuff 74 00:03:44,000 --> 00:03:45,000 that led to War Games. 75 00:03:45,000 --> 00:03:49,000 Your thoughts here as the Women's War Games match was won by Rhea, 76 00:03:49,000 --> 00:03:52,000 Eo, Alexa, Charlotte and AJ Lee? 77 00:03:52,000 --> 00:03:54,000 Yeah, I mean, it was okay. 78 00:03:54,000 --> 00:03:57,000 I think I'm kind of over the trash can spot now. 79 00:03:57,000 --> 00:03:59,000 Like, it was three years in a row. 80 00:03:59,000 --> 00:04:01,000 We've seen some kind of trash can thing. 81 00:04:01,000 --> 00:04:02,000 I think I'm kind of over that. 82 00:04:02,000 --> 00:04:05,000 Yeah, but you're right. 83 00:04:05,000 --> 00:04:07,000 I think they tried to protect... 84 00:04:07,000 --> 00:04:08,000 This is weird. 85 00:04:08,000 --> 00:04:09,000 I never thought I'd say this. 86 00:04:09,000 --> 00:04:13,000 Nia Jax is in a match and they're trying to protect somebody else 87 00:04:13,000 --> 00:04:15,000 because they're still too green. 88 00:04:15,000 --> 00:04:18,000 Like, once Lash got in, you're right. 89 00:04:18,000 --> 00:04:20,000 Like, hey, let's go ahead and finish this thing up, 90 00:04:20,000 --> 00:04:24,000 get out of here, don't overexposure too much. 91 00:04:24,000 --> 00:04:26,000 But yeah, it's weird. 92 00:04:26,000 --> 00:04:29,000 You and I have talked about Tag Team Wrestling for a while 93 00:04:29,000 --> 00:04:33,000 and one of the complaints we have about the Women's Tag Team Division 94 00:04:33,000 --> 00:04:36,000 a year ago was they're just born enough teams 95 00:04:36,000 --> 00:04:39,000 and now it's like, oh damn, they're really going all in. 96 00:04:39,000 --> 00:04:42,000 I mean, you got Alexa and Charlotte, possibly Ria and Eo. 97 00:04:42,000 --> 00:04:45,000 You got the Kabuki Warriors, Lash and Nia. 98 00:04:45,000 --> 00:04:47,000 You got Bailey and Lyra. 99 00:04:47,000 --> 00:04:49,000 And that's just on the main roster 100 00:04:49,000 --> 00:04:52,000 and there's still other Tag Team's floating around as well. 101 00:04:52,000 --> 00:04:54,000 Like, they got overloaded really quickly, 102 00:04:54,000 --> 00:04:57,000 which is a good thing for that division. 103 00:04:57,000 --> 00:05:02,000 But overall, to me, I felt like it was a fine match. 104 00:05:02,000 --> 00:05:05,000 But once again, I don't think there's anything 105 00:05:05,000 --> 00:05:07,000 I'm really going to stick out in my memory 106 00:05:07,000 --> 00:05:10,000 like three years from now about this match. 107 00:05:10,000 --> 00:05:13,000 Yeah, that's how I feel as well. 108 00:05:13,000 --> 00:05:15,000 I mean, this isn't like, oh man, 109 00:05:15,000 --> 00:05:17,000 this is one of the most memorable Women's Wargames matches. 110 00:05:17,000 --> 00:05:20,000 It's like, they did this stuff. 111 00:05:20,000 --> 00:05:22,000 The last person entered and then the match was over 112 00:05:22,000 --> 00:05:25,000 in like less than 10 minutes, which was a similar blueprint 113 00:05:25,000 --> 00:05:27,000 for the Benz match that I think we'll talk about as well. 114 00:05:27,000 --> 00:05:30,000 That's something that was a sticking point to me. 115 00:05:30,000 --> 00:05:33,000 The Women's Tag Team Division, I'm liking what I've seen earlier, 116 00:05:33,000 --> 00:05:36,000 from Wargames to Braw, 117 00:05:36,000 --> 00:05:39,000 because you have all these great talent. 118 00:05:39,000 --> 00:05:42,000 And if they're not being used in the main feuds 119 00:05:42,000 --> 00:05:44,000 for the Women's US title, I see title, 120 00:05:44,000 --> 00:05:46,000 both Women's World Championships, 121 00:05:46,000 --> 00:05:49,000 then put them in these mixed match Tag Team's 122 00:05:49,000 --> 00:05:51,000 and let them flourish and help develop that 123 00:05:51,000 --> 00:05:54,000 and keep them on television, keep everything new and fresh 124 00:05:54,000 --> 00:05:55,000 and exciting. 125 00:05:55,000 --> 00:05:58,000 So that seems to be the place that they're headed to, 126 00:05:58,000 --> 00:06:00,000 at least here in the month of December. 127 00:06:00,000 --> 00:06:02,000 I would assume that will all change in early January 128 00:06:02,000 --> 00:06:04,000 once we get towards a Royal Rumble season, 129 00:06:04,000 --> 00:06:07,000 but this could be like a stepping point to the Rumble as well, 130 00:06:07,000 --> 00:06:09,000 where you have all these women involved with one another. 131 00:06:09,000 --> 00:06:12,000 There's these partnerships, friendships, what have you. 132 00:06:12,000 --> 00:06:14,000 And one thing leads to another and all of a sudden, 133 00:06:14,000 --> 00:06:17,000 they're turning on each other for the opportunity to feud 134 00:06:17,000 --> 00:06:19,000 and get a victory at WrestleMania 42 135 00:06:19,000 --> 00:06:22,000 as the next Women's World Champion. 136 00:06:22,000 --> 00:06:25,000 Dr. Tray, the last thing I want to bring up here is I like this, 137 00:06:25,000 --> 00:06:27,000 so I'll preface it by saying this. 138 00:06:27,000 --> 00:06:30,000 What did you think of the entrances versus the shark cage 139 00:06:30,000 --> 00:06:32,000 for Wargames? 140 00:06:32,000 --> 00:06:34,000 Oh, I like the entrances way more. 141 00:06:34,000 --> 00:06:36,000 I never liked the, I mean, the shark cage, 142 00:06:36,000 --> 00:06:40,000 except for like when they do the Dakota Kai heel turn, 143 00:06:40,000 --> 00:06:43,000 you know, and maybe a little bit of like the guy's jockeying 144 00:06:43,000 --> 00:06:44,000 for position. 145 00:06:44,000 --> 00:06:48,000 That to me is what the Wargames was. 146 00:06:48,000 --> 00:06:52,000 To me, the shark cage was always just like about selling merch 147 00:06:52,000 --> 00:06:55,000 when they had the shark cage merch out there, 148 00:06:55,000 --> 00:06:59,000 but I'd much rather have the entrances 149 00:06:59,000 --> 00:07:02,000 because it also leads a little bit to a mystery as well. 150 00:07:02,000 --> 00:07:05,000 Like, you know, it's like, oh, wait, who's coming out for the team? 151 00:07:05,000 --> 00:07:06,000 So I like it a little bit more. 152 00:07:06,000 --> 00:07:09,000 Then that's the way they used to do it back in the NWA, 153 00:07:09,000 --> 00:07:11,000 you know, back in the 80s and early 90s was 154 00:07:11,000 --> 00:07:14,000 much more of like the grand entrance to come out. 155 00:07:14,000 --> 00:07:17,000 The only downsides when you do it in the bigger arenas, 156 00:07:17,000 --> 00:07:21,000 it just takes them forever to make that long run 157 00:07:21,000 --> 00:07:23,000 all the way down to get to the ring. 158 00:07:23,000 --> 00:07:25,000 Yeah, that was like the only thing. 159 00:07:25,000 --> 00:07:28,000 Like I thought everybody did a good job of like getting to the ring 160 00:07:28,000 --> 00:07:30,000 pretty decently in both matches, 161 00:07:30,000 --> 00:07:33,000 but it's like if your teammate is getting their asses kicked, 162 00:07:33,000 --> 00:07:34,000 like what are you doing? 163 00:07:34,000 --> 00:07:37,000 Like why are you taking your time here on the entrance 164 00:07:37,000 --> 00:07:38,000 and doing your things? 165 00:07:38,000 --> 00:07:44,000 Kind of like on Raw when AJ came out to officially join the women's team 166 00:07:44,000 --> 00:07:46,000 and she's skipping. 167 00:07:46,000 --> 00:07:49,000 Well, she paid for that on SmackDown, right? 168 00:07:49,000 --> 00:07:53,000 Yeah, she did, but it was, wasn't it Jeff Hardy 169 00:07:53,000 --> 00:07:54,000 who did the same thing one year? 170 00:07:54,000 --> 00:07:57,000 Like a camera bird was, I kidded it, it's been so long. 171 00:07:57,000 --> 00:07:58,000 He did the two to Jeff. 172 00:07:58,000 --> 00:08:02,000 Yeah, his brother's getting beat up and he's on the ramp dancing. 173 00:08:02,000 --> 00:08:05,000 It's like that's not even a casual friend dude. 174 00:08:05,000 --> 00:08:07,000 Like that's your brother and you're like, 175 00:08:07,000 --> 00:08:09,000 "No, I gotta get my dance in bro, sorry." 176 00:08:09,000 --> 00:08:12,000 Did they call him out on that like multiple interviews 177 00:08:12,000 --> 00:08:14,000 and he like, yeah, I had to get my stuff in. 178 00:08:14,000 --> 00:08:16,000 Exactly, yeah. 179 00:08:16,000 --> 00:08:18,000 There you go, the women's war game match. 180 00:08:18,000 --> 00:08:20,000 Next match here is Dominic Mysterio defeating John Cena 181 00:08:20,000 --> 00:08:22,000 to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship. 182 00:08:22,000 --> 00:08:24,000 We both had Dominic Mysterio on this one. 183 00:08:24,000 --> 00:08:26,000 I found this to be a very entertaining match. 184 00:08:26,000 --> 00:08:29,000 It was a poetic display of taking down John Cena 185 00:08:29,000 --> 00:08:31,000 by having all of Judgement Day, including the returning 186 00:08:31,000 --> 00:08:33,000 live Morgana take out John Cena, 187 00:08:33,000 --> 00:08:35,000 which was also the same way Cena took out Cody 188 00:08:35,000 --> 00:08:37,000 elimination chamber earlier this year. 189 00:08:37,000 --> 00:08:39,000 And then putting the Intercontinental Championship back on Dumb, 190 00:08:39,000 --> 00:08:41,000 I'm starting to get the feels watching John Cena 191 00:08:41,000 --> 00:08:43,000 perform for the second to last time. 192 00:08:43,000 --> 00:08:46,000 We are down to one last match now Saturday night 193 00:08:46,000 --> 00:08:48,000 to main event in December 13th. 194 00:08:48,000 --> 00:08:49,000 Dr. Trey, I enjoyed this match. 195 00:08:49,000 --> 00:08:52,000 There's some people out there that are kind of in the middle on it. 196 00:08:52,000 --> 00:08:55,000 You either liked it or you didn't like it. 197 00:08:55,000 --> 00:08:58,000 Basically, and there is no in between. 198 00:08:58,000 --> 00:09:02,000 I love that Cena gave love to live Morgan for a great spot. 199 00:09:02,000 --> 00:09:05,000 I love that he gave love to Rekelle Rodriguez 200 00:09:05,000 --> 00:09:09,000 and Roxanne Perez by giving them a spot. 201 00:09:09,000 --> 00:09:12,000 He showed love to the women's division on his way out 202 00:09:12,000 --> 00:09:15,000 by taking some serious spots from them 203 00:09:15,000 --> 00:09:17,000 and making them look like, quote, equals to him. 204 00:09:17,000 --> 00:09:20,000 Your thoughts here, as Dominic Mysterio retains the inner, 205 00:09:20,000 --> 00:09:23,000 or regains the Intercontinental Championship over John Cena. 206 00:09:23,000 --> 00:09:25,000 Yeah, I enjoyed the match. 207 00:09:25,000 --> 00:09:30,000 And it's almost a little bit like Cena's taking it to all the fans for years 208 00:09:30,000 --> 00:09:32,000 and he wouldn't put anybody over. 209 00:09:32,000 --> 00:09:36,000 He's been putting people over, especially the ones that, you know, 210 00:09:36,000 --> 00:09:38,000 he has a lot of confidence in faith in going forward. 211 00:09:38,000 --> 00:09:42,000 And Dom's been on fire for the better part of two years. 212 00:09:42,000 --> 00:09:48,000 I mean, whether it was the, you know, him in Ria, him in Liv, him in Roxanne. 213 00:09:48,000 --> 00:09:52,000 The judgment day is a whole, like I like that Cena put him over. 214 00:09:52,000 --> 00:09:57,000 I saw people calling him out for like, this is a horrible intercontinental title run. 215 00:09:57,000 --> 00:10:01,000 And I'm like, Cena shouldn't be your intercontinental title holder for very long. 216 00:10:01,000 --> 00:10:05,000 Like that should be the title is the setup to put somebody over. 217 00:10:05,000 --> 00:10:07,000 So I really enjoyed it. 218 00:10:07,000 --> 00:10:12,000 I love the live angle, like the blank stare that Cena gave Cody, 219 00:10:12,000 --> 00:10:15,000 like when he turned on him, Liv gave it to Cena. 220 00:10:15,000 --> 00:10:17,000 I love that. That was great. 221 00:10:17,000 --> 00:10:24,000 And then just the, the future dynamic of how the three women in the judgment day are going to shake out, you know, 222 00:10:24,000 --> 00:10:27,000 there's multiple storylines that can go with it. 223 00:10:27,000 --> 00:10:30,000 And to me, Liv's the leader of judgment day. 224 00:10:30,000 --> 00:10:32,000 So it's good to have her back. 225 00:10:32,000 --> 00:10:35,000 So, and Dom with multiple, it was two belts. 226 00:10:35,000 --> 00:10:38,000 Like the, Dom is flourishing right now. 227 00:10:38,000 --> 00:10:43,000 And why would you want to take that away from him by having Cena get a victory in a match 228 00:10:43,000 --> 00:10:49,000 that really isn't going to mean anything to the grand scheme of the intercontinental title down the line? 229 00:10:49,000 --> 00:10:53,000 Let's talk about the, the judgment day aspect here, Dr. Tray. 230 00:10:53,000 --> 00:10:55,000 They had a big night on Raw, Liv Morgan returns. 231 00:10:55,000 --> 00:11:00,000 I think a lot of people, including myself, felt that Liv was going to return to being a baby face 232 00:11:00,000 --> 00:11:03,000 and, and feuding with like Roxanne and Dom Mysterio, because that was coming, 233 00:11:03,000 --> 00:11:05,000 so kind of basically what they were planting. 234 00:11:05,000 --> 00:11:11,000 And they obviously went off of that on Saturday's match against John Cena to play off of the, you know, 235 00:11:11,000 --> 00:11:13,000 thought from a lot of the fans. 236 00:11:13,000 --> 00:11:18,000 And she basically buried the hatch with Roxanne, no issues with fan and we're moving forward here. 237 00:11:18,000 --> 00:11:23,000 They had a very, very, very strong night, the judgment day, which I love them as a group, 238 00:11:23,000 --> 00:11:25,000 even every like incarnation. 239 00:11:25,000 --> 00:11:29,000 I don't dislike different incarnations compared to other ones. 240 00:11:29,000 --> 00:11:31,000 I've kind of liked them all. 241 00:11:31,000 --> 00:11:38,000 I think always the, the middle one with Damian, Rhea, Dom, and Finn is probably the best one that they've ever done. 242 00:11:38,000 --> 00:11:43,000 But I feel like all the incarnations have been pretty equal on delivering and how they come off on television 243 00:11:43,000 --> 00:11:46,000 and entertainment values of fan watching at home. 244 00:11:46,000 --> 00:11:50,000 What do you think of the judgment day's big night and Liv Morgan basically saying, 245 00:11:50,000 --> 00:11:53,000 you know, Roxanne and Roxelle, you know, my blessing go for the tag titles. 246 00:11:53,000 --> 00:11:56,000 I have my eye set on Stephanie Vaughan, the women's championship. 247 00:11:56,000 --> 00:12:01,000 Yeah, I mean, I thought it was really strong because as much as we all kind of thought 248 00:12:01,000 --> 00:12:06,000 she might come back as a baby face, really they have toned down the Roxanne Dom stuff 249 00:12:06,000 --> 00:12:09,000 over the last few months leading to the return. 250 00:12:09,000 --> 00:12:14,000 So it kind of went out the window a little bit. 251 00:12:14,000 --> 00:12:17,000 I think a lot of us want to live to come back as a baby face just because we enjoy Liv. 252 00:12:17,000 --> 00:12:19,000 And it would be fresh and different. 253 00:12:19,000 --> 00:12:26,000 But I think the way they're setting this up and making kind of like a heel faction within a faction, 254 00:12:26,000 --> 00:12:30,000 you know, the heel women inside the faction are a faction. 255 00:12:30,000 --> 00:12:32,000 It's pretty clever and different. 256 00:12:32,000 --> 00:12:35,000 So yeah, overall strong night. 257 00:12:35,000 --> 00:12:39,000 And it's just good because Liv is kind of when she's not there, 258 00:12:39,000 --> 00:12:43,000 she's kind of become the heart and soul of judgment day. 259 00:12:43,000 --> 00:12:49,000 Like we give Finn love, we give, you know, Dom love, but really this whole thing 260 00:12:49,000 --> 00:12:53,000 since she joined the group has kind of evolved around what Liv Morgan does. 261 00:12:53,000 --> 00:12:57,000 So having her back in the picture kind of helps re elevate judgment day. 262 00:12:57,000 --> 00:12:59,000 I think we saw that on Monday night. 263 00:12:59,000 --> 00:13:03,000 Next match here is Stephanie Vaakor defeating Nikki Bella to retain the women's world championship. 264 00:13:03,000 --> 00:13:06,000 I had Nikki Bella, Dr. Hayd, Stephanie Vaakor. 265 00:13:06,000 --> 00:13:09,000 Stephanie dominated Nikki Belly in this one. 266 00:13:09,000 --> 00:13:12,000 Nikki Bella, not Belly, Nikki Bella in this one. 267 00:13:12,000 --> 00:13:18,000 Not sure why they would have turned Nikki heel only for it to be dominated like that in her first match back as a heel. 268 00:13:18,000 --> 00:13:20,000 Leavers of baby face at that point then. 269 00:13:20,000 --> 00:13:25,000 And who wants to see if she could hang with her, you know, that's like the storyline and see if she wants to hang. 270 00:13:25,000 --> 00:13:36,000 She could hang with one of the best in the company and have that style of match play out on war games and then lead to a heel turn where Nikki Bell is like this nice girl attitude isn't working. 271 00:13:36,000 --> 00:13:39,000 I have to be back to my old ways. 272 00:13:39,000 --> 00:13:49,000 At this point, I'm sure I think Vaakor may have finally sealed one of if not the best year for any female wrestler in 2025 with that survivor series victory. 273 00:13:49,000 --> 00:13:56,000 But again, however, I was perplexed that Nikki Bella turn her heel and then just basically get dominated in this one. 274 00:13:56,000 --> 00:14:04,000 I would have liked to see and turns the baby face do a couple of weeks coming out of there like I can't play by dominated like that and then turn heel on Stephanie. 275 00:14:04,000 --> 00:14:08,000 Your thoughts thoughts on this one is Stephanie Vaakor retains over Nikki Bella. 276 00:14:08,000 --> 00:14:15,000 Is it weird? Even though Stephanie dominated this match, I thought it was Nikki's best performance since coming back. 277 00:14:15,000 --> 00:14:25,000 Like there weren't any noticeable like screw ups in this match and maybe and maybe we should be giving credit to Stephanie for that and kind of controlling the tempo. 278 00:14:25,000 --> 00:14:35,000 But overall, I don't know what I don't know if creative knows what to do with Nikki Bell because she is a Hall of Famers. 279 00:14:35,000 --> 00:14:43,000 She was gone for years. She's back but she doesn't have the street cred of Alita of a trash. 280 00:14:43,000 --> 00:14:51,000 You know, one of those Hall of Famers who came back plus she's pretty active on the roster not part time. 281 00:14:51,000 --> 00:14:59,000 So I really I just think they don't know what to do with her and they want to give her a spotlight because she is well known and she is a quote unquote Hall of Famer. 282 00:14:59,000 --> 00:15:10,000 But I just don't think they know what direction to use her in and they didn't want to sacrifice Stephanie Vaakor to their own indiscretion as to what to do with this character. 283 00:15:10,000 --> 00:15:12,000 So I think that's kind of what we got. 284 00:15:12,000 --> 00:15:22,000 So I know you're hoping for a brief return but I don't I simply just don't know if we're going to get Bri and Nikki together with Breeze. 285 00:15:22,000 --> 00:15:24,000 Husband is still working for the competition. 286 00:15:24,000 --> 00:15:32,000 Well, there was that rumor that prior to was it live Morgan's injury. I think it was for evolution that that was going to be a tag team ass. 287 00:15:32,000 --> 00:15:35,000 They were sending up Raquel and live to take on the Bell twins. 288 00:15:35,000 --> 00:15:40,000 And I think that's actually set it in an interview like on some sort of red carpet like that. 289 00:15:40,000 --> 00:15:44,000 It looks like she'll be returning pretty soon. They they held off on that. 290 00:15:44,000 --> 00:15:53,000 Yeah, but I think at this point too I just don't I don't know if you can get because I always thought Bri was better as a baby phase and Nikki was better as a healer. 291 00:15:53,000 --> 00:15:55,000 A great and completely yes. 292 00:15:55,000 --> 00:16:02,000 And so like if you bring back a heel breed is that the fans are going to cheer for her. 293 00:16:02,000 --> 00:16:06,000 And then does that make Nikki back to being a baby? I think that's what I'm saying. 294 00:16:06,000 --> 00:16:16,000 Like I just don't think they know what to do with Nikki plus the roster is way more stacked now than it was at any point during Nikki and Breeze run. 295 00:16:16,000 --> 00:16:34,000 And where do you slot a Nikki Bell in? Do you sacrifice the youngsters for this? Do you put her into a feud with you know, Ria like where do you slot a Nikki Bell in and right now also we're seeing this thing where all the women have alliances and Nikki doesn't have one. 296 00:16:34,000 --> 00:16:43,000 So you kind of have to pair her up with a young person to kind of have her form some alliance in order to be competitive in this video. 297 00:16:43,000 --> 00:16:49,000 And we were seeing you know, Maxine in Natalia, AJ's got her little group from war games. 298 00:16:49,000 --> 00:16:57,000 Actually, you can always throw away with you know, Becky's a loner by nature, but you could always pair her up with one of the heel groups here and then everybody else is in a tag team as well. 299 00:16:57,000 --> 00:17:09,000 So it's just kind of what do you do with Nikki Bella and they're trying to get some investment or some you know returns on their investment of bringing her back to the main roster? 300 00:17:09,000 --> 00:17:18,000 Yeah, I don't think they envision that she'd be back as basically a full-time performer like she has been. I mean, she's like 75% in a couple of weeks. You don't see her here and there. 301 00:17:18,000 --> 00:17:28,000 I think that they could take the formula that they're doing right now with the women's tag team division and potentially put her sister back there. And I also think you know, you're looking at the main roster. 302 00:17:28,000 --> 00:17:32,000 I think there are some talents in NXT that could be easily aligned with her. 303 00:17:32,000 --> 00:17:44,000 Should they get the call up to the main roster after the New Year? I look at like JC Jane as one maybe you know several members of fatal attraction can be in there or an Izzy Dane essentially as well. 304 00:17:44,000 --> 00:17:59,000 I think there are talents that you could pair up with Nikki Bella if Bree is not the approach. But I think the fan base for the most part is assuming that Bree will come back at some point despite her husband working for AEW right now as a major player there. 305 00:17:59,000 --> 00:18:13,000 So 75 core retains and defeats Nikki Bella at Survivor Series War Game. And then that takes us to the main event match here. Dr. Trey was the men's war games match as Bronn Breaker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre and Brock Lesnar defeat CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jeyus OJ. 306 00:18:13,000 --> 00:18:25,000 Jimmy Usso and Roman Reigns in the women men's war games match. I know it's like we were just talking about the women. Both Dr. Trey and I had the heel team winning in this one. 307 00:18:25,000 --> 00:18:38,000 It was another fine war games match but it felt very short because once everybody was in the ring and war games began we got like 10 more minutes again of the match itself which was similar to the women's match that we talked about earlier in the show. 308 00:18:38,000 --> 00:18:51,000 The big news out of this one is obviously from who was the masked man. Roman and Cody having beef post match with one another and Bronn Breaker pinning the World of the World Champion to win war games. 309 00:18:51,000 --> 00:18:58,000 I thought the match was all right but the important parts from the match were good. They were the big stories basically out of it. 310 00:18:58,000 --> 00:19:10,000 I think there's anything really to write home about the match itself. It's the stuff that took place. The masked man which everybody on Raw they're saying Seth Rollins was backstage not in a sling which is so odd because then why don't you show. 311 00:19:10,000 --> 00:19:21,000 And if they have I've missed it. Why don't you show video or photo footage of that and why isn't Seth confronting the vision after what took place if he's behind the scene at war games but I digress. 312 00:19:21,000 --> 00:19:38,000 The Roman and Cody beef and the Bronn C and punk stuff plays into the next topic here as there may be some rest of any 42 implications around that doctor try but your thoughts here as the Bronn Breaker Bronzer and Logan Paul Drew McTarron Brock Lesnar team win men's war games. 313 00:19:38,000 --> 00:19:54,000 Yeah I just I think I was kind of let down and and and maybe because you and I sat here last week we said this is the most star set of war games match that we've ever had and it was all right. 314 00:19:54,000 --> 00:20:10,000 You know it was like yeah okay everybody kind of went through them the their their best hits and they you know there's a couple of cool spots but really this match was about setting up storylines and that's kind of not what war games has been about in the past. 315 00:20:10,000 --> 00:20:29,000 It's been about kind of settling things and this was more of setting up WrestleMania and setting up the immediate storylines coming out of it so I guess I'm just a little let down based on who we had in this match and then that that part just kind of trips me up. 316 00:20:29,000 --> 00:20:57,000 I'm like I remember so many war games where this is like the match beyond because this was the most settling heated rivalries and some of the cool stuff I mean we got we saw punk and Mac entire interacting we saw Roman and Brock getting back into it we saw some of the greatest you know some rivalries flare back up a little bit that part was fun but overall like the match itself was just kind of a let down and I think it's probably just be kept you know based on the star power involved and then. 317 00:20:57,000 --> 00:21:19,000 The most important stuff is kind of what happened at the end and then post match which then takes away from the match itself so little bit of a let down for me yeah the war games matches the last several years I felt like I've always been pretty good ever since they they shifted over to the main roster they've been very entertaining very exciting and you've had these points that were talking about where they were seeds planted for rumbles or WrestleMania season that took place. 318 00:21:19,000 --> 00:21:33,000 Both war games matches were were let down they were fine and maybe this is because all the other war games matches been really good but they just it felt like it did the same blueprint was like last person and we have 10 minutes ago let's go home. 319 00:21:33,000 --> 00:21:45,000 So it was odd it was it was very very odd and and the bigger story is is the stuff that took place like the entertainment stuff that took place in the match or even post match rather than the match itself. 320 00:21:45,000 --> 00:21:50,000 I'd like to see an equal balance of of both. 321 00:21:50,000 --> 00:22:10,000 Paperview prediction record here doctor Tram went three and one you went for no on survivor series 2025 PLE predictions record I am at 57 and 21 doctor is at 62 and 16 and I don't think that will have any more paper views to cover here for the rest of 2025 so with that being said it would appear. 322 00:22:10,000 --> 00:22:19,000 Doctor is one the 2025 paperview prediction so congrats to our very own doctor trying which I think is the first time I've wanted like four years. 323 00:22:19,000 --> 00:22:31,000 Yeah I actually can see real fast here last year was me 23 was me 22 was me 21 was you man how do you how would you remember something like that. 324 00:22:31,000 --> 00:22:49,000 Look I'm very competitive and that's why like in years past where you might have like a one or two match lead going into the last two months I start making crazy predictions just to try to you know catch up and get ahead and then he's you know then it kind of gets away from you. 325 00:22:49,000 --> 00:23:10,000 The one thing I didn't predict though Jeff was how careful brought Kalezner was not to fall in his ass on the intro and survivor series I don't know if he does it he did not do his like crazy like he did the movement but it was way more meticulous about how he moved he was not going to fall in his ass. 326 00:23:10,000 --> 00:23:21,000 That's a survivor series but yeah it's it's I'm just amazed that I find I think what happened is the reason I won this year we took the AEW predictions out. 327 00:23:21,000 --> 00:23:37,000 You were better at the AEW predictions than I was so I'm like yeah if we're cause they have main roster a little bit on NXT I'm usually okay we start through the AEW stuff in I'm like I have no idea how they put some of those shows together so yeah that was always your kind of wheelhouse there. 328 00:23:37,000 --> 00:23:54,000 Yeah sometimes they they don't even know how they put those shows together I know our boy EJ read give a shout out to you on the Facebook page this past weekend saying how red hot you are he was actually at the show so shout out EJ read one time with the show over at facebook dot com slash the still really show. 329 00:23:54,000 --> 00:24:02,000 All right event rating and match of the night I gave survivor series war games a 3.9 and my match the night was John seen in Dominic Mysterio. 330 00:24:02,000 --> 00:24:17,000 Doctor what say you I gave it a 3.7 and I match the night was seen in Dom as well and by the way what time I'm 2021 2021 I was so anti Dom and I think I might be the president of his fan club. 331 00:24:17,000 --> 00:24:31,000 I think you're not alone in the people that were against him I mean I certainly felt that way as well I felt like just a complete NEPO baby situation that he was involved I mean he's really really coming to his own and to become super super entertaining so shout out. 332 00:24:31,000 --> 00:24:51,000 I was literally I was literally searching for a Dominic Mysterio T shirt to buy Sammy Franklin for Christmas the other day that's how I don't buy much WWE I don't buy much March anymore like action figures like he's got a new action figure out and I was trying to I've been trying to find that for like two weeks at my local wall mart. 333 00:24:51,000 --> 00:25:09,000 I haven't found one yet and I was trying to find it and Sammy doesn't know the hell Dominic Mysterio is I just thought be cool I haven't run around in a dirty dom shirt is all it was you want him to say that you're his deadbeat dad is that this is all that that's it is it's all about trolling myself it's all it is hey we're all there. 334 00:25:09,000 --> 00:25:33,000 All right other stuff going on the world professional wrestling the big thing coming out of that men's war game match is a restaurant 42 men's championship matches could potentially been foreshadowed during the war games match according to Dave Melcher he was reporting post survived series quote when we come out of this match men's war game the idea was worse supposed to know WrestleMania which is Cody and Roman and punk and Braun Breaker as the championship matches. 335 00:25:33,000 --> 00:25:42,000 I don't know if that's so the case because they announced seeing punk versus Braun Breaker for the first raw of 2026 January 5th in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn New York. 336 00:25:42,000 --> 00:26:01,000 Cody and Roman definitely feels like that's the direction dr. Trey punk and Braun Breaker not too sure about because like I just said they're taking on one another Netflix I mean would punk drop the title punk wins the rumble and then punk which would be ironic because he wins the rumble in Saudi Arabia then punk is it the challenger heading 337 00:26:01,000 --> 00:26:13,000 in the WrestleMania against Braun Breaker your thoughts your doctor is to what Meltzer is reporting that coming out of this it's Cody and Roman in a championship match and punk a Braun Breaker in a championship match for the men's side at WrestleMania 42. 338 00:26:13,000 --> 00:26:32,000 It makes sense in a way and I don't know if people really think of this but they do like doing these little short little title runs for young guys or you know people that haven't really established themselves as a true main event. 339 00:26:32,000 --> 00:26:46,000 It also makes sense that if you put the belt on Braun and somehow he survives a CM Punk rematch at media then you have Seth returning and it kind of sets up two big storylines for Braun Breaker heading out of it. 340 00:26:46,000 --> 00:27:05,000 So like I wouldn't be surprised if that's the direction they go because you know you and I have to have a lot of money in the bank briefcase winners were guys who weren't established as main event guys they would do the cash in kind of get a trial run with the belt before they got their longer title run later. 341 00:27:05,000 --> 00:27:28,000 So this might be their way of going hey we think we keep telling the fans Braun Breaker's a future WrestleMania main event or let's go ahead and put the belt on him see how it goes and then if it goes well we know we got a guy who can carry the company and if not and not to mention if you're adding Logan Paul into the mix of being in the vision. 342 00:27:28,000 --> 00:27:48,000 If they all eventually turn on Braun Breaker and Braun goes baby face then you have Logan Paul Braun's and read in the quote unquote masked man all his challenges as well so there's some intriguing storylines out of this if they go that route or you just have you know you do a double turn of WrestleMania CM Punk joins back up Paul Heyman in the new vision. 343 00:27:48,000 --> 00:28:14,000 Yeah it's it's interesting I mean punk were actually Cody Roman I don't know if I want to see it again quite honestly I think WWE really wants to make this a trilogy like rock and Austin this they want this generations rock and Austin trilogy to be Cody and Roman it's not necessarily my cup of tea I thought the whole purpose of it now when you look back at it is WrestleMania 40. 344 00:28:14,000 --> 00:28:43,000 Roman you know Cody couldn't overcome Roman and then that was the fight for the last year and then 41 was this actually 39 was he couldn't beat Roman and then 40 was this amazing build that I think is legendary great WrestleMania overall WrestleMania 40 and Cody finally finishes the story by defeating Roman I don't necessarily know if I need to see a trilogy as for Braun and Punk I think Braun is getting the Seth Rollins bot here. 345 00:28:43,000 --> 00:29:04,000 I guess the working thought was that Braun and Seth would be a match at WrestleMania I think was one of the things when I saw Rollins get injured or it would be that would be taking place afterwards I've always felt like Braun Breaker is better served as a baby face than as a heel but just keep the character the same the fans really want to get behind them and they really enjoy stuff. 346 00:29:04,000 --> 00:29:33,000 I feel like they want to strap a rocket ship to Braun Breaker in 2026 Dodge train and I would not be shocked if Braun walks out of that January 5th raw main event defeating CM Punk becoming World of Away Champion and then carrying the torch heading into WrestleMania rather being the person that is chasing the championship because I think at that point when he's operating as a heel and if he's chasing Punk going in WrestleMania say he wins the Royal Rumble I think the fans get behind him and I don't think that's what they want. 347 00:29:33,000 --> 00:29:46,000 I think if he's the champion and punk the one chasing as the baby face finally wins the Royal Rumble match something that has eluded him his entire career I think that is more appealing for fans that cheer for CM Punk at WrestleMania itself. 348 00:29:46,000 --> 00:29:59,000 I think this is the matches that we're going to be getting I think these are the matches we'll be getting at WrestleMania 42 and that's the reason why they did what they did when they closed out war games the mental war games match this past Saturday night. 349 00:29:59,000 --> 00:30:27,000 Yeah and I'm with you like I really want to see Cody Roman 3 because once again it's going to be in baby facing his baby face and I don't like those matches at WrestleMania I think you need to have clear lines on who the casual fans are cheering for who the casual fans are booing so if you do it that way you're going to have a torn audience unless you have Cody and Roman gone first. 350 00:30:27,000 --> 00:30:31,000 You know which I don't think they would do. I'm not with the tonight event. 351 00:30:31,000 --> 00:30:56,000 Yeah like I just don't want my closing match where the crowds kind of like mixed and not knowing who they wanted cheer and who they want to be unless you're coming out of that with Cody turning heal like unless that's your game plan to me I would much be more invested in like Seth and Roman if Seth's return by WrestleMania and Cody and Randy Orton you know or something along those lines like just seeing. 352 00:30:56,000 --> 00:31:05,000 And then because then what do you do like if you do Cody and Roman what do you do with Orton what do you do with Seth what do you do with Brock like where do those slot in. 353 00:31:05,000 --> 00:31:19,000 To me like we've all been clamoring for Cody and Randy Orton for a couple of years now I don't think the casual fans really want Roman and Cody 3 now I don't think they do and I think that's kind of what the company wants. 354 00:31:19,000 --> 00:31:43,000 So there you go some foreshadowing for the WrestleMania 42 men's championship matches taking place reportedly during the war games match this past Monday night Dr. Trey became official it will take place on Friday's edition Smackdown so tomorrow night whenever you're listening to the show it'll be gone through taking on LA night in the finals of the last time is now tournament to see who will be John Cena's final opponent Saturday. 355 00:31:43,000 --> 00:31:53,000 And so that's the last time it's made a event on Saturday December 13th Dr. Trey who do you think should walk out of Smackdown the winner of the last time is now tournament. 356 00:31:53,000 --> 00:32:09,000 Who do I think she walk out or who would I think will be who do you think who do you think I think Gunther's walking out and part of it I blame AEW for Gunther winning this part partly because we have heard nothing but Don Callis say how. 357 00:32:09,000 --> 00:32:29,000 And now you might have Gunther winning this tournament on the heels of winning King of the ring last year maybe now WWE can make the argument that Gunther is the greatest tournament wrestler of all time but I do think Gunther is going to win and we're going to see in a Gunther. 358 00:32:29,000 --> 00:32:56,000 But dear God can we give L can WWE like I feel like sometimes WWE treats LA night like he's Zach Ryder in 2011 like he's over but not because of us and we're not going to reward him for that I mean the guy still gets over the crowd still behind them everybody still buys his merchandise they still cheer him on and outside of that US title when he's done really nothing on the main roster. 359 00:32:56,000 --> 00:33:22,000 And it's crazy to me that they just don't go hey we should probably do something with this guy and we're coming up on WrestleMania season and he's going to be lumped into a match probably with Jusso because J through a temperate from a mall on raw Monday night so I Gunther is my pick to win but I would love to see LA night get the baby face rub from John Cena and elevate him up to that next level. 360 00:33:22,000 --> 00:33:45,000 Yeah I'm in agreement I don't I don't know who's going to win I I think it should be LA night I think everybody thinks it's going to be Gunther I would prefer to see LA night because I think LA night is more in line with the John Cena character and everything that he stood for then Gunther and it would be a poetic way to end it and I think LA night can then victory would be massive for him. 361 00:33:45,000 --> 00:34:14,000 I think LA night could very well have a huge 2026 he's a guy that I think if it wasn't so top heavy right now that you know going back to what we just talked about like LA night could be someone that you could earmark for the 2026 Royal Rumble winner on the men's side like that is not shocking I think they have done a disservice to LA night at times and it at times feels like he's been held back just because they're so more focused on other stars or making other people. 362 00:34:14,000 --> 00:34:28,000 Stars are making other people stars than LA night I think it should be LA night I want it to be LA night but I feel like WWE is going to go with Gunther because that's been the long sand rumor for all this time but I hope we're I hope we're surprised next week Dr. 363 00:34:28,000 --> 00:34:43,000 Shrely when you and I sit down here and we we look towards the John Cena final match event for Saturday and it's been event you know that following Saturday when we record next week I hope it's LA night versus John Cena because I think that would be more a more poetic way than for Gunther to. 364 00:34:43,000 --> 00:35:04,000 Get the victory over John Cena presuming he would get the victory over John Cena and I think what a lot that overshadows this entire thing is that you know got the retired Goldberg as well like do we want him retiring Goldberg and John Cena in the same year I think that match kind of leaves an awkward taste in people's mouth but I hope it's LA night Dr. 365 00:35:04,000 --> 00:35:07,000 Shrely I think that's I think that's a direction they should be going. 366 00:35:07,000 --> 00:35:27,000 I mean if you're John Cena I think you rather wrestle LA night and Gunther in your final match I mean if he wrestles Gunther I mean that chest is going to be bright red when he goes back through guerrillas are doing interviews on the bill like give us your thoughts on the end of your career and he's got like Gunther's handprints all over him. 367 00:35:27,000 --> 00:35:56,000 Yeah the idea that Gunther retire Cena and Goldberg in the same year I mean how is he then not in your main event picture like just he's the new legend now that might be where they go we might get a rand york and Gunther rematch your WrestleMania the new legend killer versus the old legend killer if Gunther retires both guys in the same year but I mean LA night I don't know if you see that same analogy that I gave like with the comparison to Zach Ryder how Zach got over organically LA night's gotten over organically yeah. 368 00:35:56,000 --> 00:36:25,000 They finally put put out some merch for him and so that but he's been relevant on the main roster really since the the Mountain Dew blackout match with Bray Wyatt and that was a couple years ago and he's managed to ride the highs and lows and still capture the hearts of the fans and that's a very telling thing about a competitor that like hey no matter what crappy match or crappy feud you put me in I'm still going to be. 369 00:36:25,000 --> 00:36:47,000 To be at the top of the fans minds that that's something that they should really take notice of and strike and we've been saying strike while the irons hot for two years and they've still never struck with it so I don't know and he's not getting any younger I mean the guys in his early 40s now at some point you got to either pull the trigger or you know kind of cut bait. 370 00:36:47,000 --> 00:37:01,000 More to talk about on next week's this show when we have an idea who will be taking on John Cena and if it's the right match right opponent and what matches we would prefer to see for John Cena's final match in professional wrestling. 371 00:37:01,000 --> 00:37:16,000 Speaking of retirement storylines Dr. Trey according reports WWE is offered Chris Jericho a retirement storyline according to the wrestler a wrestling server online WWE is offered Chris Jericho retirement storyline and those in WWE have said that that's what they'd be interested in. 372 00:37:16,000 --> 00:37:28,000 For Chris Jericho others expected to be there in early next year but nothing's confirmed Jericho recently confirmed earn an every he will be wrestling quote somewhere in 2026. 373 00:37:28,000 --> 00:37:34,000 Dr. Trey WWE reportedly offering Chris Jericho retirement storyline should he take it. 374 00:37:34,000 --> 00:37:46,000 If he wants to retire I mean it's one of these like I think if you if you're if you're really thinking like hey this is my last year. 375 00:37:46,000 --> 00:37:54,000 That's the better play I mean a w did a great job with stings retirement storyline but for the most part we've done pretty well well. 376 00:37:54,000 --> 00:38:23,000 I can't say that I don't know if we've done pretty well by WWE I mean taker never really got a retirement retirement tour Cena got one Kurt Angle got Baron Corbin in his last match so I don't really know if that's the way to go like if that's the new thing like hey if you're thinking about wrapping up once you come back over here and we can do something for you pal I don't know if that's the right way I mean because what if Jericho still goes hey I still think I could wrestle for. 377 00:38:23,000 --> 00:38:52,000 Three or four more years and on a part time basis is the retirement tour the right thing to do now will you get more will you get more notice and probably make more money doing a tour with wb absolutely but I don't think Chris Jericho wants to be disingenuous when he says yeah this is my retirement tour but I'm going to do the Mick Jagger thing and just keep on retiring every couple years for a couple matches here and there so I don't think that's into my think when he's ready to win. 378 00:38:52,000 --> 00:39:06,000 I think when he's ready to wrap it up he's going to wrap it up so I would say probably you know go to a w until you're staying a w until you're ready to really wrap things up and then do one last run in WWE. 379 00:39:06,000 --> 00:39:16,000 Yeah I think I think you should take it I think Jericho should end his career in WWE if that's the direction he wants to go he wants to retire then yeah okay go there retire. 380 00:39:16,000 --> 00:39:31,000 I'd like to see him have maybe a two year run one full year and then one more year but who knows with him I mean he's almost close to six years old you know maybe Jericho doesn't want to do another year professional wrestling and this is kind of how and where he wants to finish off his career. 381 00:39:31,000 --> 00:40:00,000 I think if Jericho ends up taking a retirement storyline like if we hear something here in the next several days 10 days or so I think Jericho ends up like being retired by Gunther like I think this becomes Gunther's new thing so like Jericho will be 56 years old next year he's not as close to 60 as I thought but you know he's still getting up there in age and he's got a lot of bumps and bruises he probably has a guy that's you know wants to take it easy now the rest of his life so he's definitely earned that right. 382 00:40:00,000 --> 00:40:29,000 So I think Jericho should take it I think Jericho should end his career in WWE then in a W and I think AW like we've talked about here on the show in the past I think they've moved on from him I don't think he they want him back I think they're being respectful but I think the direction that the company is done is in a completely different way now and I think they're content with move you know thank you for everything that you did you help to get us up to this pedestal but we want to move in a different direction now as a company and I can't blame them for that if that's the direction they want to go so. 383 00:40:29,000 --> 00:40:42,000 Obviously this is going to be a big story in the next 6 to 8 weeks so we should have an idea where Jericho is is he back in AW does he pop up in the WWE Royal Rumble and we'll be here to cover for all of you on the Still Real This show. 384 00:40:42,000 --> 00:40:58,000 Chris Jericho did refer to TNA as the second biggest wrestling promotion in the United States recently Dr. Trey we talked about that here on the show and TNA has some big news as they announced earlier this week they've landed a TV deal with AMC to air impact every Thursday from 9 p.m. 385 00:40:58,000 --> 00:41:27,000 to 11 p.m. East it pretty exciting news I mean I do not watch TNA unfortunately I check out clips online obviously know the stuff that we follow with WWE NXT or WWE in general I just don't have enough time in the world to watch TNA unfortunately and I'm pumped for them I'm excited for them I mean they've had a rough go of it over the last couple of years I think they were on like destination America at one point they were on some other channel that I think was hard to get a hold of this is after they were on the show. 386 00:41:27,000 --> 00:41:56,000 This is after they were on TV access TV was one I thought there was one between access and destination America that was like really odd like a channel I'd never heard of basically so yeah they are they're back on like an quote normal channel that people know about I mean they were on Fox Sports net spike TV and then here we are now after a run of of not being on well known channels getting on AMC so 387 00:41:56,000 --> 00:42:04,000 I'm pumped for them doctor try this is this is pretty exciting for them and I and I hope they continue to grow because this is a good thing for the world of professional wrestling. 388 00:42:04,000 --> 00:42:15,000 Yeah when I heard the news I was I was stoked because I was like man that's actually a much bigger platform than I thought they landed deal with but you know we're kind of in the 389 00:42:15,000 --> 00:42:29,000 subject matter type marketplace for all these different platforms like we need content you know wise man once and content or content is king you got to have content the more 390 00:42:29,000 --> 00:42:39,000 content you have the better you are on the on those platforms and you by the way do not call AMC a station I found out yesterday and today that people get 391 00:42:39,000 --> 00:42:54,000 mad at you for saying that but AMC is is a really big platform for them to to get on I mean I I had heard of it so that was always a big deal yeah yeah and I know where to find it on my 392 00:42:54,000 --> 00:43:07,000 rowcoos I'm like yeah that's great I can actually check it out really happy for the lot of guys and gals that I know over there I mean it's a huge place to get on it will be interesting to see because I don't know who owns AMC 393 00:43:07,000 --> 00:43:20,000 because I don't I don't think it's a paramount channel but I don't think it's owned by NBC universal so I don't know where it falls into the line with in relation to WWE's deal so I don't know if we're 394 00:43:20,000 --> 00:43:36,000 going to have the TNA NXT kind of crossover stuff when they go to AMC but for a promotion that kind of has found its footing with the help of WWE like this is a huge win for them to be able to get this kind of 395 00:43:36,000 --> 00:43:48,000 promotion for their product going forward. Yeah it's exciting for TNA so I'm getting on like a recognizable channel is is a pretty big deal so props to TNA every Thursday AMC 396 00:43:48,000 --> 00:43:59,000 after in the early part of the new year I think it's like that first I don't think it's the first Thursday in January I think it's the 8th maybe or the 15th so that will be on AMC 397 00:43:59,000 --> 00:44:13,000 that gives us wrestling every day of the week except for Sunday yeah yeah yeah Monday's raw Tuesday and XC Wednesday Dynamite Thursday TNA Friday Smackdown Saturday collision 398 00:44:13,000 --> 00:44:25,000 yeah so Sunday still God's day yeah Sunday is still God's day and God even though with that loss to this big man you know is still unrivaled on Sundays. 399 00:44:25,000 --> 00:44:37,000 Yep you can't watch wrestling you can't go to Chick-fil-A on Sundays and then lastly here Dr. Troy we've NXT deadline this Saturday from the Boeing Center and Tech Port in Santa at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio Texas. 400 00:44:37,000 --> 00:44:49,000 The matches on the card we have Ricky Saints defending the NXT Championship in the opener against Oba Femi. Javon Evans Leon Slater Joe Henry Dion Lennox and Miles Bournem will compete the men's Iron Survivor Challenge match for the NXT Championship match at New Year's evil. 401 00:44:49,000 --> 00:44:57,000 So Ruka Lola vice Kalani Jornit and Jordan Grayson Kemmel Gray will be in the women's Iron Survivor Challenge match for NXT Women's Championship match at New Year's evil. 402 00:44:57,000 --> 00:45:10,000 Tane Paxi takes on Izzy Damon Ethan Page Defense the NXT North American Championship against Mr. Aguana. The men's excuse me the Iron Survivor Challenge matches for men and women are some of my favorite matches that WWE does each year. 403 00:45:10,000 --> 00:45:26,000 And the men's match has a lot of like guys that are ready to break through the glass ceiling and the women's match has both nice little mixmosh of like they're on the verge of breaking through or you know becoming a well known name on television like in Kemmel Grayson. 404 00:45:26,000 --> 00:45:33,000 What are some of the matches that you're most looking forward to for NXT deadline in this upcoming Saturday after try. 405 00:45:33,000 --> 00:45:43,000 Well both Iron Survivor Challenge matches I'm excited for because I'm with you like it's one of my it's a weird match. I mean there's a penalty box and there's a countdown clock. 406 00:45:43,000 --> 00:45:50,000 It's kind of like the Royal Rumble meets hockey in the way like it's just it's such a weird match. 407 00:45:50,000 --> 00:45:59,000 But that's probably why we enjoy it so much just because it's an odd thing to see but they've really produced those matches so well the last three years. 408 00:45:59,000 --> 00:46:13,000 It's hard not to get excited about those and I'm with you like it's the men's side you're like okay are we going with is miles born really going to get the breakout moment and are they just going to run the Joe Andrew stuff and make him the face of NXT in 2026 is that the route they're going. 409 00:46:13,000 --> 00:46:29,000 The women's stuff is like yeah like Saul Rook has been ready to break through and be you know the face of NXT for a little bit now and you still got Kalani Jordan and then you know Kendall Gray getting taken out by Zaria on NXT on maybe on accident. 410 00:46:29,000 --> 00:46:38,000 But do they just go hey she's already the evolved champion or no she was the evolved champion now we're going to kind of elevate her some more. 411 00:46:38,000 --> 00:46:55,000 So it's always kind of cool to see where they go with this I'm also except by the oboe family Ricky Stark's matches because is this Oboe swan song and this is his last match in NXT and we'll see him in the Rumble and then we get Oboe full time in 2026 on the main roster because. 412 00:46:55,000 --> 00:47:16,000 There's nobody else like him in professional wrestling right now and I think they know that so I'm really excited to see if this is kind of Oboe swan song and we're getting the Ricky Stark's era in 2026 in NXT where we'll see him as a baby face champion then it'll turn he'll and get a heel run as champion by the end of the year. 413 00:47:16,000 --> 00:47:38,000 Yeah it's going to be a really fun show on Saturday I think it's some of the best of NXT does all year in
