- 2:44Sunny mornings send you. In local news, Canton
- 2:50Police Sergeant Sean Good has been placed on
- 2:53paid administrative leave due to allegations
- 2:55of misconduct, according to a statement from
- 2:58the town and Interim Police Chief Joseph Perkins.
- 3:03The officer is currently the subject of an internal
- 3:05affairs investigation, and the town has not disclosed
- 3:09details regarding the allegations. Officials
- 3:12were informed on October 24th and immediately
- 3:15hired an independent investigator to conduct
- 3:18a thorough administrative inquiry. The Canton
- 3:21Police Department has faced scrutiny in the past,
- 3:24particularly during the high -profile Karen Reed
- 3:27murder trial, where Goode also testified. An
- 3:31independent audit last spring noted mistakes
- 3:34in evidence collection related to another case,
- 3:37but reassured residents about the department's
- 3:40integrity. Now onto sports. The city of Pasadena
- 3:50has filed a lawsuit against UCLA to enforce its
- 3:53lease for the Rose Bowl, which runs through June
- 3:5630, 2044. The lawsuit accuses UCLA of attempting
- 4:02to move football games to SoFi Stadium in Inglewood,
- 4:06calling this a profound betrayal of trust. Pasadena
- 4:11officials state taxpayers have invested more
- 4:14than $150 million in stadium renovations. UCLA
- 4:20denies breaching the contract, asserting that
- 4:23discussions about relocation do not violate the
- 4:26lease. The lawsuit seeks a court order to require
- 4:29UCLA to honor its lease, which officials claim
- 4:32is crucial for the community's economic health.
- 4:37Experts suggest the involvement of a government
- 4:39entity complicates potential negotiations. And
- 4:44last night on Monday Night Football, the Dallas
- 4:47Cowboys lost to the Arizona Cardinals with a
- 4:50final score of 27 -17. The Cowboys often struggled
- 4:55throughout, failing to score a touchdown until
- 4:57the fourth quarter, while the Cardinals, led
- 5:00by Jacobi Brissette, capitalized on their opportunities.
- 5:05Despite being ranked 21st in yards allowed, Arizona's
- 5:09defense limited Dak Prescott. and his team significantly.
- 5:14The Cowboys fell to a record of three wins, five
- 5:17losses, and one tie, diminishing their playoff
- 5:20hopes. In local sports, Jusuf Nurkic delivered
- 5:26the go -ahead bucket with six tenths of a second
- 5:28remaining, powering the Utah Jazz past the Celtics
- 5:32105 to 103 on Monday night. Nurkic's putt back
- 5:37won the game. overcoming a double -digit, second
- 5:41-half deficit. Keon DeGeorge scored a season
- 5:45-high 31 points, while Laurie Markkinen added

- 5:51end a three -game losing streak. Jalen Brown
- 5:55led Boston with 36 points, but struggled from
- 5:59three -point range, finishing 0 for 9. The Celtics,
- 6:04who have lost their last two games, will host
- 6:06Washington Wednesday night. In top news, Republicans
- 6:12hold a 219 to 213 majority in the House, but
- 6:17they could secure more seats if reapportionments
- 6:20favor them. Both parties are engaged in a fierce
- 6:24battle in legislatures and courts over redistricting
- 6:27ahead of the 2026 elections. Mid -decade reapportionments
- 6:33have been triggered by demands from Donald Trump
- 6:35for more Republican districts. combined with
- 6:38changing legal frameworks around partisan gerrymandering.
- 6:43As states push for redistricting, Texas aims
- 6:45for five additional seats for Republicans, while
- 6:48California seeks to gain five seats for Democrats.
- 6:52This high -stakes political maneuvering highlights
- 6:55the critical nature of upcoming legislative sessions.
- 7:01In business news, The fight over credit scores
- 7:05has escalated into a war among key players in
- 7:08the finance industry. For years, the FICO score
- 7:12has determined access to mortgages, car loans,
- 7:15and credit cards. Now, a $10 fee has ignited
- 7:19fierce competition between Fair Isaac, the creator
- 7:23of the FICO score, and three major credit bureaus,
- 7:27Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. These companies
- 7:31are advocating for their alternative score, Vantage
- 7:35Score, which claims to enhance credit access.
- 7:39As tensions rise, experts warn that this battle
- 7:41could impact American taxpayers and the financial
- 7:45landscape significantly. In crypto movement,
- 7:49Bitcoin is down 1 % to just over $107 ,000. Ethereum
- 7:56is down half a percent to about $3 ,600. And

- 9:48request to restore ABC to YouTube TV for election
- 9:52night coverage. instead proposing to let users
- 9:55watch ESPN and ABC as negotiations continue.
- 10:01This disagreement marks the fifth day of the
- 10:03blackout of Disney networks on YouTube TV due
- 10:07to a fee dispute. Disney requested that Google
- 10:11provide ABC on November 4th, but Google suggested
- 10:14that restoring both ABC and ESPN would better
- 10:19serve customers. Disney's networks went dark
- 10:22after their prior agreement expired on October
- 10:2530th at midnight Eastern time, with Google claiming
- 10:29Disney has demanded an unprecedented fee increase.
