- 0:04Speaker 1: Welcome back to Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists
- 0:08Speaker 1: this week. Perhaps you've heard the classic Hollywood phrase don't
- 0:12Speaker 1: drink and drive. Well, we talk to school Assembly performers
- 0:18Speaker 1: who tell that lesson to young kids and the art
- 0:21Speaker 1: of doing so.
- 0:23Speaker 2: The School Assembly characters, actors and performers and directors travel
- 0:29Speaker 2: around the entire United States, educating the youth probably one
- 0:34Speaker 2: of the best choices in life.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Now, pull up, get going. Class is not going because
- 0:42Speaker 3: it's an assembly. Please welcome the cast of the school Assemblies.
- 0:48Speaker 4: Don't drink and drive.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Fancy. Wow, this is amazing to be here. I love
- 1:00Speaker 2: being here. I think it's stellar that we're all here.
- 1:03Speaker 1: And more than stellar, I would say it's important. I
- 1:06Speaker 1: think it's important and honestly challenging to hearts and minds.
- 1:12Speaker 1: It's challenging my heart's challenging my mind to share the
- 1:15Speaker 1: space with you all and to really tell Hollywood what
- 1:18Speaker 1: we do.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I mean, big shout out to Aoao aoaoa.
- 1:23Speaker 2: But for bringing us in. You know, it's kind of important.
- 1:27Speaker 5: To them, you know, Yeah, we'd like bringing us in.
- 1:30Speaker 5: Sometimes having these difficult conversations, it's a little awkward turtle.
- 1:33Speaker 5: It's a little awkward turtle, but we're totally like, I'm
- 1:36Speaker 5: sorry for cheesing, but I'm so happy that we get
- 1:38Speaker 5: this larger platform to talk about what we do.
- 1:40Speaker 6: Like it's awesome. Yeah, really, like.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Absolutely because work actors too, Like, yeah, those are lines
- 1:46Speaker 3: we memorize, thus blocking we work on.
- 1:49Speaker 4: It's there's it's no different than a movie.
- 1:54Speaker 6: Yeah, what we do is just like a movie.
- 1:56Speaker 1: So for the listener, maybe we can give a little
- 1:59Speaker 1: background about what we do before we introduce ourselves. So
- 2:02Speaker 1: we are a part of Dairya two and that is
- 2:06Speaker 1: a anti drunk driving educational seminar. We are a group
- 2:11Speaker 1: that goes from school to school educating kids through the
- 2:14Speaker 1: art of theater, motivational speaking, sometimes dance, sometimes puppetry, on
- 2:20Speaker 1: how to make smart choices.
- 2:23Speaker 6: You know, in immersion. We use immersion pretty heavily as well.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean we're really trying to dare you to
- 2:29Speaker 2: not drink?
- 2:30Speaker 1: Exactly?
- 2:30Speaker 2: Are you to not drink? Not drink?
- 2:33Speaker 7: Oh so you were moving on to the second part.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, dare you to not drink? That's that's big,
- 2:38Speaker 2: kind of the big one, and that is the second part.
- 2:41Speaker 1: But legally, our LLC is dairy two. Yes, we couldn't
- 2:45Speaker 1: fit not drink.
- 2:47Speaker 6: You know, and it's the number two.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Yeah, And we're not a nonprofit by the way.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Yeah. And it's also a little confusing because there's no
- 2:53Speaker 2: space between why A and dare so sometimes people think
- 2:57Speaker 2: it's diarrhea to diarrhea too, which is a little confused.
- 3:02Speaker 8: And we've heard that, we've heard that chanted, Yeah.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Diarrhea, who's calling my name?
- 3:12Speaker 2: Kids are brutal.
- 3:13Speaker 6: Kids are brutal.
- 3:14Speaker 2: They're hard, They're hard hard.
- 3:16Speaker 7: I really struggle because.
- 3:19Speaker 1: We are and we are working with specifically ninth graders,
- 3:23Speaker 1: and you know, their armpit hair just come in. They're
- 3:27Speaker 1: ready to drink, they're ready to drive, and they are
- 3:30Speaker 1: it's so hard to wragle them.
- 3:31Speaker 2: And they're not allowed to do either, you know. That's
- 3:33Speaker 2: the crazy so hard. They can't drink and they can't
- 3:38Speaker 2: drive yet.
- 3:38Speaker 1: So we're really talking about two things that they're not
- 3:41Speaker 1: doing right.
- 3:41Speaker 6: And it's just it's so unfair because their armbred hair
- 3:44Speaker 6: just came in.
- 3:45Speaker 4: It's we remind each other of that everybody.
- 3:49Speaker 1: They've had no time to adjust hair portruding from one
- 3:53Speaker 1: of the ekiest crevasses of their body. They had no
- 3:56Speaker 1: time to adjust, and all of a sudden we have
- 3:58Speaker 1: to hit them with some really hard truth.
- 4:00Speaker 8: I remember when when my arm bit air came in,
- 4:02Speaker 8: I got right behind the wheel.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Of the car.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Yea, and with a license or no.
- 4:06Speaker 7: With no driver's license.
- 4:08Speaker 8: That's that ninth grader, I think, ninth grader mentality. Yeah,
- 4:11Speaker 8: I remember I looked at my mom. I went, fuck this,
- 4:15Speaker 8: that's what I said. She said, what are you talking about?
- 4:17Speaker 8: And I was in the car.
- 4:17Speaker 2: I was gone, yeah, damn.
- 4:19Speaker 4: Did you have a Miller light in there?
- 4:21Speaker 9: I had.
- 4:21Speaker 8: I had a Miller light in each hand, ready to
- 4:23Speaker 8: go and listen that. I mean, listen, I know that
- 4:25Speaker 8: that's that's my story. I know you've heard it. I
- 4:28Speaker 8: know I've told it on stage. That's kind of you know,
- 4:31Speaker 8: the cautionary tale. And I'm happy that you all give
- 4:33Speaker 8: me the platform to to speak about my Well, this
- 4:36Speaker 8: is a great transition.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Why don't we introduce ourselves. Go ahead, you know, you know,
- 4:40Speaker 2: take take the mic if you will.
- 4:42Speaker 8: I'm Peter Hurlwitz, and I am sort of I mean,
- 4:46Speaker 8: I I honored that I was even brought here to
- 4:48Speaker 8: you know, an artists an artist's platform.
- 4:51Speaker 7: When I know I'm just you know, I'm just the guy.
- 4:53Speaker 7: I just come on.
- 4:54Speaker 8: I give the true life stories, you know, I come
- 4:57Speaker 8: on and you you kind of just point to me
- 5:00Speaker 8: of the of the do not do.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Peter starts to show off with the prologue, which is
- 5:04Speaker 3: always so powerful single spotlight on stage dark and he comes.
- 5:09Speaker 2: On, and Peter's so brave because, like he was saying,
- 5:12Speaker 2: he kind of is our an example of what not
- 5:15Speaker 2: to do in life, you.
- 5:16Speaker 5: Know, I mean, just imagine our show starts with spotlight
- 5:21Speaker 5: Peter doing an exact impression of the sound of the
- 5:25Speaker 5: car accident he was in.
- 5:26Speaker 1: He's a gifted beat boxer and folly artist, and he's
- 5:31Speaker 1: really good at replicating the sound with such painful accuracy.
- 5:35Speaker 1: It still brings tears to my eyes every time you
- 5:37Speaker 1: do it.
- 5:37Speaker 6: Peter, I don't want to put you on this.
- 5:38Speaker 7: I really don't want to.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Put you on.
- 5:40Speaker 1: I really don't want to.
- 5:42Speaker 6: Put you in.
- 5:44Speaker 7: It's it's I appreciate. I just don't think anybody wants
- 5:46Speaker 7: to hear that.
- 5:48Speaker 3: They want to hear the listeners out there when this
- 5:52Speaker 3: guy comes out and they think, oh no, another assembly
- 5:55Speaker 3: to teach me about laws or something.
- 5:58Speaker 4: And he starts beatbox. He starts beatboxing.
- 6:04Speaker 1: We've all had the guys, we've all had the guys
- 6:06Speaker 1: come out with the big yo yos and they read
- 6:08Speaker 1: the whole US penal code from come Back and.
- 6:11Speaker 4: It's miserable, miserable.
- 6:13Speaker 3: He starts beat boxing, and we have these kids by
- 6:15Speaker 3: their necks and they go, these guys are relatable.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Yeah, Peter, Peter, we really don't want to put you
- 6:23Speaker 1: on the spot.
- 6:24Speaker 7: It's it's fine. I mean, listen, I do it. I
- 6:26Speaker 7: do it probably every other day.
- 6:28Speaker 4: And uh, we're lucky if we book it.
- 6:30Speaker 2: If we book it.
- 6:30Speaker 7: We'd been slower lately, but it's it'll be.
- 6:33Speaker 1: We've been pinned for a couple of schools.
- 6:34Speaker 7: We can pinch. We've been pinned.
- 6:35Speaker 6: It's absolutely there's not a lot of drinks.
- 6:38Speaker 1: October is hard.
- 6:39Speaker 4: It's a walking holiday.
- 6:42Speaker 1: People are in their houses. June that's the month for
- 6:45Speaker 1: drinking and drive.
- 6:46Speaker 2: It's just tough because that's summer months. That's right.
- 6:49Speaker 6: Got a load is basically our super Bowl.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Oh it sweeps, baby, We're getting ahead. We're getting ahead
- 6:56Speaker 4: of ourselves.
- 6:57Speaker 7: I am ready, I am ready for the impression. It's
- 6:59Speaker 7: all it's all good, all.
- 7:01Speaker 8: Right, So imagine you're you're in your You're in your gymnasium,
- 7:05Speaker 8: you're in your your lunch hall spot comsummie.
- 7:10Speaker 10: See lad the mom I got guy got hair growing
- 7:13Speaker 10: out of my arms?
- 7:32Speaker 11: What through the window, window the door, glug glug, what.
- 7:45Speaker 2: My boy?
- 7:47Speaker 7: And so that's sort of the prologue.
- 7:48Speaker 4: God, it's incredible.
- 7:53Speaker 6: Absol.
- 7:54Speaker 3: I will say Peter is the one that is kind
- 7:57Speaker 3: of the heart throb of the team we have.
- 7:59Speaker 4: The nine year olds do tend to crush on.
- 8:03Speaker 7: I get a lot of d ms.
- 8:04Speaker 2: It's very true, which you legally can't answer. I don't,
- 8:10Speaker 2: I haven't.
- 8:11Speaker 6: I'm so crazy.
- 8:12Speaker 5: We do not put our last names on anything, and
- 8:15Speaker 5: they always find us all.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Really, we get.
- 8:17Speaker 5: Five hundred friend requests on our locked Instagram after every show.
- 8:23Speaker 6: Kids are brutal.
- 8:25Speaker 2: We're getting our ahead of ourselves. Why don't we go
- 8:27Speaker 2: around and finish introducing ourselves.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Maybe we introduce ourselves in order of the show. Because
- 8:32Speaker 3: Peter comes out for the prolog, well.
- 8:34Speaker 5: And then I come out, not counting the sound effects
- 8:36Speaker 5: that you guys did.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Sure, but we're off stage soundscape soundscape.
- 8:42Speaker 5: I come out and well, my name is Denny Wasniak,
- 8:46Speaker 5: and I come out and I look at everyone and
- 8:49Speaker 5: I go, that actually happened. I'm not to say my
- 8:54Speaker 5: name is Denny, but you guys all call me broccolihead.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Broccoli.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:58Speaker 5: It's like kind of the goofball, like I I before
- 9:01Speaker 5: doing this.
- 9:01Speaker 6: I mean, we all met in college.
- 9:02Speaker 5: We met at Northwestern, and we started this in Northwestern,
- 9:05Speaker 5: and then we realized this could be a viable you know,
- 9:09Speaker 5: first of all, a side gig that we could all
- 9:11Speaker 5: go do together.
- 9:13Speaker 6: It would be fun while our other careers we were
- 9:15Speaker 6: working really hard on.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Yeah, we all met at Northwestern. It was actually very
- 9:18Speaker 2: helpful because Peter was actually in a rehab program at
- 9:21Speaker 2: the time next door, Yeah, next door, And so we
- 9:23Speaker 2: kind of just walked in and said, hey, we're looking
- 9:25Speaker 2: for one.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Yeah, and med school was so hard that we needed
- 9:30Speaker 3: something on the side, you know what I mean.
- 9:31Speaker 6: We were all med school students. Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 9:35Speaker 5: So we were like, you know, we're going to work
- 9:36Speaker 5: hard at med school, but you know, being accepted as
- 9:39Speaker 5: a nurse is really difficult.
- 9:41Speaker 6: It's very exclusive.
- 9:42Speaker 1: So and more than that, I don't want to do it.
- 9:44Speaker 6: And right, right, that's like a big problem.
- 9:49Speaker 1: That's a big part of it.
- 9:50Speaker 5: It's like an absolutely hamburger sized problem.
- 9:54Speaker 6: So I totally I totally.
- 9:56Speaker 5: Agree with you. So we just started doing this and
- 9:58Speaker 5: it really kicked off. But I come outs on stage
- 10:01Speaker 5: broccolihead enters, and I grew up in youth group, so
- 10:04Speaker 5: this is a big moment for me to go. That
- 10:05Speaker 5: was really scary, wasn't it.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Guys?
- 10:07Speaker 12: Let's talk about that what I make you guys feel like?
- 10:09Speaker 12: And they think that we've stopped the show to listen
- 10:12Speaker 12: to them, but it's actually part of show. And as
- 10:16Speaker 12: I'm talking to them, I'm slowly kind of different parts
- 10:21Speaker 12: of my body are going numb, and I'm kind of.
- 10:23Speaker 6: Oh, that's interesting.
- 10:24Speaker 5: And then and then eventually I fall to the ground
- 10:27Speaker 5: and I say I'm dead.
- 10:29Speaker 2: It's terrifying.
- 10:30Speaker 5: Yeah, And I say I'm dead. You've been talking to
- 10:34Speaker 5: a dead person this whole time. I'm dead because of
- 10:38Speaker 5: drinking and driving. And that's the first time we say
- 10:41Speaker 5: drinking and driving. Right.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:44Speaker 1: And if you'll notice the role of Peter has been
- 10:47Speaker 1: double cast because you know, after after that, you sort
- 10:51Speaker 1: of assume.
- 10:52Speaker 7: His position as wiped out. He gets so tired. It's
- 10:57Speaker 7: a big performance, and that's we have a chair.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Set up for him. So that he can sit for
- 11:03Speaker 1: the next ten minutes of the show and recovered closely.
- 11:06Speaker 8: You hear, but you forget to turn my mic off
- 11:10Speaker 8: a lot of the time, which causes a lot of it.
- 11:12Speaker 5: And these school auditorium microphones, they are hot.
- 11:16Speaker 7: They're hot.
- 11:17Speaker 2: They're hot. They're always hot, always hot.
- 11:21Speaker 6: Hot or off is what we like to call it.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, or off.
- 11:26Speaker 5: And yeah, he's sitting there, mind you, in a car
- 11:29Speaker 5: seat we have. We we built a big car seat
- 11:31Speaker 5: for him to sit in there for the imagery. And
- 11:33Speaker 5: I think it's actually flipping awesome that he does it.
- 11:37Speaker 8: I'm gonna I don't understand the car seat, okay, because.
- 11:42Speaker 1: I what what don't you understand?
- 11:44Speaker 8: Because I am a drunk driver and I and then
- 11:49Speaker 8: I'm a baby.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Well, your soul is very young because you killed your
- 11:55Speaker 1: inner child by drunk driving. I mean, that's what That's what.
- 11:59Speaker 8: We've and that could be great if we said that,
- 12:02Speaker 8: but we don't say anything.
- 12:03Speaker 2: I don't. I think it's pretty clear.
- 12:05Speaker 1: I mean at the salon we all held together where
- 12:08Speaker 1: we discussed these ideas and how they made us feel,
- 12:10Speaker 1: I thought it was pretty clear to us. After we
- 12:12Speaker 1: had been talking for I missed the salon.
- 12:14Speaker 3: That's I'll just say, this devised theater has a mind
- 12:19Speaker 3: of its own. Sometimes we can't walk back and figure
- 12:22Speaker 3: out what was meant to be right, It just happens.
- 12:26Speaker 6: To be clear, Peter, we we.
- 12:27Speaker 5: I don't know if you get tension that we are
- 12:29Speaker 5: upset you missed the salon. If I had three eleven tickets,
- 12:32Speaker 5: I wouldn't come either. So good for you and that
- 12:35Speaker 5: great concert. You said it was really good and.
- 12:37Speaker 7: It was really good.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Yeah, it was so fun. Ember was your favorite song,
- 12:41Speaker 2: and you know that's great for you.
- 12:43Speaker 4: It's everyone's favorite for sure.
- 12:45Speaker 2: There's a lot of good. There's a lot of good
- 12:47Speaker 2: three elevens.
- 12:47Speaker 7: Of course, that's why I went to the fucking concept.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Okay, guys, let's be easy. Come on.
- 12:52Speaker 2: I'm sorry. I don't want getting ahead ourself.
- 12:56Speaker 7: It's a very comfy chair and I appreciate it.
- 12:58Speaker 1: You guys, we're pulling the drink before the drive here.
- 13:01Speaker 1: We should we should get back to the yeah ourselves,
- 13:05Speaker 1: all right?
- 13:07Speaker 4: No, go ahead, no please?
- 13:09Speaker 1: Okay, Well I will pick up with uh my section
- 13:13Speaker 1: of the show where I come in and introduce you know,
- 13:17Speaker 1: the concept of alcohol. Uh My name is Jessica Budweiser,
- 13:22Speaker 1: and I have spent years trying to undo the harm
- 13:26Speaker 1: and the pain that my family has caused. Budweiser is
- 13:30Speaker 1: a is a wretched thank you, wretched plague upon the world.
- 13:36Speaker 1: And we've done so much evil and we've done so
- 13:39Speaker 1: much harm. And so I come on stage and I
- 13:42Speaker 1: hold up a single can of Budweiser, and I said, kids,
- 13:46Speaker 1: what the fuck do you think this is?
- 13:48Speaker 2: She says the word and it gets the ninth grader's right.
- 13:53Speaker 1: And that's why I use it, because it makes them go. Sometimes,
- 13:55Speaker 1: it makes them giggle, sometimes it makes them gasp. Sometimes
- 13:58Speaker 1: it makes them scream, sometimes it makes them cry. But
- 14:01Speaker 1: no matter what, the F bomb is such a powerful
- 14:03Speaker 1: tool in a school educator's pocket. And so I basically
- 14:08Speaker 1: just go through the different types of beer. I ask
- 14:10Speaker 1: them if they know what it is, and then I
- 14:12Speaker 1: put it down. I ask them if they know what
- 14:14Speaker 1: it is, and then I put it down until there
- 14:16Speaker 1: is a line of beer lining the stage, and then
- 14:20Speaker 1: I kick over every can one by one and I say,
- 14:23Speaker 1: this is all a life that's ended.
- 14:25Speaker 7: And this is the longest part of the show.
- 14:27Speaker 4: Yeah, this is the meat of the assembly.
- 14:30Speaker 3: And I'll also say that Jessica, if you don't mind,
- 14:33Speaker 3: is though this is a devised theater piece and we
- 14:36Speaker 3: all come together, we are all equals. Jessica does play
- 14:39Speaker 3: the role like the leadership, because we were all in
- 14:41Speaker 3: med school and you were like, I do want to
- 14:43Speaker 3: change lives because I hate my family.
- 14:45Speaker 4: And then you were like, you know what, being a
- 14:46Speaker 4: doctor's too much work.
- 14:47Speaker 3: I don't want to save those lives, right, And then
- 14:49Speaker 3: you were like, I know a way, and then you
- 14:51Speaker 3: picked us up with your beautiful ambition and held us
- 14:55Speaker 3: in the palm of your hand. And I just thank
- 14:57Speaker 3: you every day for it.
- 14:58Speaker 5: Well, and you're mentioning the big part of the one
- 15:01Speaker 5: two punch of what you're doing is every person when
- 15:03Speaker 5: you say who's sort of this beer? Everyone who raised
- 15:05Speaker 5: their hands, we get their names and we call their
- 15:08Speaker 5: parents during these and we tell them your parents, your
- 15:11Speaker 5: child knows. Your child knows what this beer is and
- 15:14Speaker 5: we don't.
- 15:14Speaker 1: And we put the conversations on speakerphone into the mic.
- 15:17Speaker 6: We have hundreds of phone cell phones.
- 15:20Speaker 1: This assembly is long.
- 15:22Speaker 5: My daddy, Steve Wosnet, he gave us some access to
- 15:24Speaker 5: a couple of phones and so it's been really awesome.
- 15:27Speaker 4: I always forget your dad's deep Yeah.
- 15:30Speaker 6: You too, He's so silly.
- 15:32Speaker 2: It's just it's such an like. I feel like the
- 15:34Speaker 2: Budweiser name is such overshadowing the Wosniac name.
- 15:37Speaker 7: You know, right, totally, it's tough.
- 15:39Speaker 1: I mean mine is flashy, but like, in reality, the
- 15:41Speaker 1: Budweisers are boring, like we're we're a boring family. They're
- 15:44Speaker 1: just rich. They save their money. They don't know how
- 15:46Speaker 1: to spend it.
- 15:47Speaker 6: Honestly, the Wosniaks are flipping awesome.
- 15:49Speaker 5: And I wish you guys would come to our freaking
- 15:51Speaker 5: Columbus day parties.
- 15:54Speaker 2: All right, guys, Columbus day parties. It's so fun.
- 15:59Speaker 6: I don't know why people don't My name is.
- 16:03Speaker 4: My name is Sissy.
- 16:04Speaker 3: And what you said just now, Jessica, I think it
- 16:09Speaker 3: was you, Danny broccoli Head. I think you said at
- 16:16Speaker 3: Broccolihead that we get those phone numbers and we make
- 16:20Speaker 3: those calls. So I'm the girl in the back dialing
- 16:23Speaker 3: all these phone numbers up, and once we get a
- 16:26Speaker 3: parent on the line, I will wave my hand in
- 16:29Speaker 3: the back and they'll see it and we'll bring it out.
- 16:31Speaker 3: I also drive the paper ambulance at the end. Of
- 16:34Speaker 3: the show, I drive it, which is my favorite part
- 16:37Speaker 3: of the show. And not to say my part is
- 16:39Speaker 3: my favorite part, but I love that we come from
- 16:41Speaker 3: the audience. We scare the shit out of these kids
- 16:43Speaker 3: with a paper ambulance and it's so so, so loud,
- 16:47Speaker 3: and we come in and I drive so fast to go.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Pick up because what the paper ambulance. The driver is drunk,
- 16:54Speaker 2: that's at.
- 16:56Speaker 1: And the terrifying thing about the paper ambulance is watching
- 16:59Speaker 1: the paper just crumble at the end because you're going
- 17:04Speaker 1: so fast, and you see how car can fall apart
- 17:07Speaker 1: just like paper if the driver is drunk.
- 17:09Speaker 3: That was such a good idea on the group's behalf.
- 17:11Speaker 3: I don't remember who said, let's make the paper so
- 17:13Speaker 3: sharp that it'll hurt someone.
- 17:17Speaker 1: And when you get thousands of real paper cuts at
- 17:19Speaker 1: the end of the show and you present them to
- 17:21Speaker 1: the crowd, it's honestly inspiring. And I can't believe you
- 17:24Speaker 1: do that to your body every single time.
- 17:26Speaker 2: That a choice that you made at the salon. That
- 17:28Speaker 2: was so brave. It was such a good choice at
- 17:30Speaker 2: the salon. I wish, I really.
- 17:32Speaker 4: Wish, I really wish you saw me make the choice.
- 17:35Speaker 8: I kind of wish I did too, because because it does,
- 17:39Speaker 8: I don't need it confuses me as well.
- 17:40Speaker 4: It's the paper the uh what's confusing. I'm sorry, perfusing.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Her, getting her giving herself a bunch of paper cuts.
- 17:48Speaker 8: The paper missions ambulance because okay, fine, because you're an ambulance,
- 17:54Speaker 8: why are you crashing? The ambulance function in the story
- 17:58Speaker 8: should be to help the drunk drivers that are already there.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Well, we decided in the salon that the ambulance is
- 18:04Speaker 1: the enemy because the ambulance is part of the problem, because.
- 18:07Speaker 7: No, go on, it wasn't there.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Well, Peter, let me just explain to you. The ambulance
- 18:11Speaker 1: is part of the problem because if a drunk driver
- 18:14Speaker 1: knows that their ambulances roaming around, they might think it's
- 18:17Speaker 1: okay to crash the car. So that's when we decided
- 18:20Speaker 1: the salon. I'm so sorry if it doesn't make sense.
- 18:22Speaker 7: I mean, maybe this is good feedback.
- 18:24Speaker 4: We can yeah, this is good, we can talk.
- 18:25Speaker 2: It's all right. I just wish you brought it up
- 18:26Speaker 2: at the salon.
- 18:27Speaker 8: I wasn't at the salon, and I'm sorry, but it
- 18:29Speaker 8: doesn't mean I have to agree with everything that you did.
- 18:31Speaker 8: I hate the anti ambulance aganda that we push.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Sure, I think it's dangerous.
- 18:36Speaker 7: I think it's irresponsible, and.
- 18:40Speaker 2: That's noted great.
- 18:41Speaker 1: And when we have our next salon in February, I like,
- 18:43Speaker 1: can't wait to discuss this with you and really dive.
- 18:46Speaker 2: In twelve our next salon.
- 18:49Speaker 6: It'd be amazing. And I understand why you weren't there.
- 18:52Speaker 5: You had to go to a one day concert during
- 18:53Speaker 5: the middle of a seven day salon.
- 18:55Speaker 6: I understand why you weren't there.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Okay, next up, So my name is Gregory Dinkin out Stop,
- 19:09Speaker 2: So I come out as Snarfy the Chugger. It's a
- 19:12Speaker 2: really fun moment where I come out as a kind
- 19:16Speaker 2: of a funny, silly guy and I'm just all energy
- 19:19Speaker 2: just to get the kids riled up again, and it's
- 19:21Speaker 2: kind of like how much can I chug? How much
- 19:25Speaker 2: can I chug? The kids love it. Unfortunately, at the
- 19:29Speaker 2: end of that, Snarfy dies because he chugged too much.
- 19:33Speaker 2: And then I show them Red Asphalt, which is a
- 19:36Speaker 2: movie that's just photos of people that have died horrifically
- 19:40Speaker 2: from drunk driving. That's kind of my arc But man, Chuffy,
- 19:44Speaker 2: this Snuffy the Chugger really gets think it wasfy snarfy
- 19:49Speaker 2: the chugger.
- 19:51Speaker 4: Is depending on like what school districts.
- 19:54Speaker 7: Yeah, I found.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Out we have to change it because we found it
- 19:57Speaker 2: in Detroit snarfy meant something we didn't know it meant.
- 20:00Speaker 8: Remember in Washington when we called him snuffy, Yeah, absolutely
- 20:03Speaker 8: lost that audience immediately.
- 20:05Speaker 5: Oh, in Louisiana and we called them snooky embarrassed changes,
- 20:09Speaker 5: But no, it's it's correct because like Louisiana's snooky is
- 20:13Speaker 5: Wisconsin snoffy, Like we just we're following the game changes
- 20:19Speaker 5: for sure.
- 20:20Speaker 3: So I got to say New Jersey Snoopy is New
- 20:24Speaker 3: York's Hey, get eddy or snaky.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Yeah, so when we went to New York, we went, hey,
- 20:29Speaker 2: get out of here, Snaky the Chugger. That was my
- 20:33Speaker 2: full name for that performance. It was a wonderful, wonderful performance.
- 20:36Speaker 6: This analytics is boring, souff.
- 20:39Speaker 7: People don't want to hear this.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Yeah, this is just I mean, we might as well
- 20:42Speaker 1: just be reading off of our Instagram view insights tab
- 20:45Speaker 1: at this point zero.
- 20:48Speaker 2: So I have the last chugging as much as I
- 20:52Speaker 2: can and going I don't think I can drink more
- 20:54Speaker 2: and getting the kids were all riled up and making
- 20:57Speaker 2: me drink more, really teaching them an important less of
- 21:00Speaker 2: peer pressure. Don't drink and drive, and don't peer pressure
- 21:04Speaker 2: your friends into drinking and driving.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Our peer Pressure Dance number, I'd say, is my favorite
- 21:09Speaker 3: part of the show because around that time Peter is
- 21:11Speaker 3: finally rested after is be boxing, and we all come out.
- 21:16Speaker 3: I love the peer Pressure dance.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a it's sort of like a It's it's
- 21:21Speaker 1: the point at which many of the students believe the
- 21:23Speaker 1: assembly is over, and it's not. We're nowhere near that.
- 21:27Speaker 1: It's just simply a dream ballet. It's almost like an
- 21:30Speaker 1: act five of ten acts within the thing. It's a
- 21:34Speaker 1: brief reprieve to sort of see what goes on inside
- 21:38Speaker 1: your mind as you're drunk driving and as you're experiencing.
- 21:41Speaker 6: Dancing in itself is a little funny.
- 21:42Speaker 5: We have a little a couple of movements that make
- 21:45Speaker 5: me laugh out loud if I'm if I am, do
- 21:47Speaker 5: you always laugh out Well, it's hard to kind of
- 21:49Speaker 5: do certain things we do without laughing out loud.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean we borrow heavily from sy We.
- 21:54Speaker 6: Do sy Gongam style.
- 21:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Yeah, still love that.
- 22:01Speaker 4: Damn it no matter which grade, we always will.
- 22:04Speaker 2: And I'll tell you a secret. If you ever say
- 22:06Speaker 2: John Cena out loud, the kids go ape shit. It's
- 22:10Speaker 2: one of my favorite things to do. I'll go, how
- 22:12Speaker 2: much can I chug John? The kids they just eat
- 22:18Speaker 2: it up. I got a question, because now we've got
- 22:20Speaker 2: all this, you know, room to talk, I'm really excited,
- 22:23Speaker 2: Like what I feel like we all have such fun
- 22:25Speaker 2: memories with the kids, Like, what are some of your
- 22:27Speaker 2: favorite memories that you've had all you know?
- 22:30Speaker 3: I wish to say my favorite is when opening weekend
- 22:33Speaker 3: of Mowanna came out and the kids kept thinking that
- 22:37Speaker 3: they were gonna watch Mowana during the assembly and we
- 22:39Speaker 3: were like.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Because we told them we yeah, it were.
- 22:42Speaker 4: And then I don't know who it was.
- 22:43Speaker 3: I think it was you, miss Budweiser. That was like,
- 22:46Speaker 3: make the person who dies Moana. So we switched the
- 22:50Speaker 3: show on its head and we just replaced any of
- 22:53Speaker 3: the kids who died with Moana, and we said she drunk.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Peter, you're off the cuff monologue about tying your own
- 22:59Speaker 2: life into Moana's death. I thought was a moment that
- 23:04Speaker 2: only lives an infamy in my head, you know, and.
- 23:07Speaker 8: And I and I thank you for that. It was
- 23:11Speaker 8: I'm glad that it was received. While I kind of
- 23:13Speaker 8: fell it was flying by the seat of my pants
- 23:14Speaker 8: with that one. But really I think the beat box
- 23:18Speaker 8: with the mo Wana ad libs really did have some effect.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Yeah, and we really don't want to put you on
- 23:24Speaker 1: the spot, couldn't want to.
- 23:26Speaker 3: But I'll say the Molanna parts of it, you nail it.
- 23:31Speaker 4: You really do and do it for. We don't want
- 23:33Speaker 4: to put you on.
- 23:34Speaker 2: We really don't want to put Yeah.
- 23:37Speaker 8: I mean, listen, nobody wants to hear me. Do if
- 23:44Speaker 8: you remember it?
- 23:45Speaker 2: If?
- 23:45Speaker 7: I mean, of course I remember it. I do watch
- 23:47Speaker 7: the tape back every now and again.
- 23:49Speaker 2: I don't you know.
- 23:50Speaker 8: It's hard to take pride in my parts of the show,
- 23:52Speaker 8: but this I did take pride, and I would be
- 23:54Speaker 8: I'd be obliged to do it again.
- 23:55Speaker 4: For Thank you so much.
- 23:57Speaker 10: All right, see you later, mom.
- 24:11Speaker 7: One number one, number one one, except you're.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Not welcome boo.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Stream boat going too fat.
- 24:28Speaker 7: There's a light of find me.
- 24:35Speaker 2: I'm a big slug.
- 24:38Speaker 4: My god, Peter love that.
- 24:41Speaker 7: That was awesome And I was just making the day.
- 24:43Speaker 7: I was just making that up and it really.
- 24:47Speaker 3: Crazy to me that you don't see how beneficial it
- 24:50Speaker 3: is to have you in a car seat when you're
- 24:51Speaker 3: doing that.
- 24:52Speaker 2: It is so I don't get how you don't get it.
- 24:55Speaker 4: It's so damn powerful.
- 24:56Speaker 8: But see, okay, And I was happy to talk about
- 24:58Speaker 8: a fond memory and you're reminding me of the because listen, No,
- 25:03Speaker 8: it was great. Mohana had just come out. You said,
- 25:04Speaker 8: let's make a Mowana version. You'll be in the car seat.
- 25:06Speaker 8: And I say, this is the one part or I'm
- 25:10Speaker 8: not in the car seat. So why did why because
- 25:13Speaker 8: of its Moana, all of a sudden, do I now
- 25:16Speaker 8: have to sit in a car seat?
- 25:17Speaker 5: I would be remiss if I said, by the way,
- 25:20Speaker 5: this was Remember we said this was the day Mohana
- 25:23Speaker 5: came out. We saw ten am showing a Moana. Our
- 25:26Speaker 5: assembly was at one pm. We did not know that you.
- 25:30Speaker 6: Were thinking of it. You had incorporated all of that for.
- 25:33Speaker 5: The show an hour after we had finished watching it.
- 25:36Speaker 5: I honestly, it was a maze balls. It was amaze balls.
- 25:39Speaker 8: It was amaze balls except for the blocking, but I
- 25:41Speaker 8: agree it was it was good, yeah, except for the blocking.
- 25:44Speaker 2: And I gotta say, Steve, when you said.
- 25:47Speaker 5: Annie, Steve is my father, sorry, and I love him,
- 25:49Speaker 5: but I'm not him.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Jenny, when you said I'm a slug now.
- 25:53Speaker 6: Yeah, do you remember that big slug in the middle
- 25:56Speaker 6: of it.
- 25:56Speaker 1: I must have missed that.
- 25:59Speaker 2: It's a crack.
- 26:01Speaker 3: And I will say, sure, not a lot bumps for
- 26:03Speaker 3: me in our Mowana version of our du.
- 26:06Speaker 1: No, it's almost completely free of bumps, but the slug.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Bumps, it's definitely a crack.
- 26:13Speaker 1: And I think there was a kid that yelled out
- 26:15Speaker 1: in the assembly, Hey, the slug bumps me a little.
- 26:20Speaker 8: Yes, And once you bump those kids, you can't you
- 26:23Speaker 8: that if you lose, like eight years, it's such a
- 26:26Speaker 8: thin line.
- 26:26Speaker 1: It's tough when you're at an art school and the
- 26:28Speaker 1: screenwriting kids sort of unionize against you, like they start
- 26:32Speaker 1: yelling things like this doesn't hold up.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I've lost.
- 26:36Speaker 3: There's the three lines completely. They're worse than the athletes.
- 26:38Speaker 3: They're worse than the mean girls. It's those screenwriting kids
- 26:41Speaker 3: in ninth grade.
- 26:43Speaker 4: They're so loud.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Now TikTok made them emboldened, and now they feel like
- 26:46Speaker 1: they can say anything.
- 26:48Speaker 2: It's a hard job you have, TikTok. You guys can
- 26:50Speaker 2: follow our TikTok yes a really fun social media presence.
- 26:54Speaker 6: Should we do a lot of memes to that. We
- 27:02Speaker 6: do a lot of stuff to that.
- 27:03Speaker 2: Song, and it's a lot of like, oh, look at me,
- 27:05Speaker 2: I'm in a car drinking, and then it goes no, no, no, no, no,
- 27:09Speaker 2: don't do that. Unfortunately, we do get a lot of
- 27:12Speaker 2: like blocks because people find our stuff kind of offensive.
- 27:15Speaker 2: You know, they do not like drinking culture on TikTok.
- 27:18Speaker 6: No, they don't.
- 27:19Speaker 3: I mean, it's hard to make a living being anti
- 27:21Speaker 3: drinking culture and trying to just like be popular, you
- 27:25Speaker 3: know what I mean.
- 27:26Speaker 4: Like it's it's.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Because one of our goals is also to be popular.
- 27:29Speaker 4: I think I care about that a lot, I really do.
- 27:33Speaker 6: I understand I also care about being popular. I have
- 27:37Speaker 6: a question for everybody. We're talking so much about our show.
- 27:39Speaker 5: But we're on the road a lot, right Like, we're
- 27:42Speaker 5: out together, we're road dogs.
- 27:44Speaker 6: We're just doing things together. We're going across the I.
- 27:46Speaker 5: Think we've been to every state in the country except
- 27:51Speaker 5: for Tennessee.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Tennessee. They won't, they.
- 27:54Speaker 4: Won't, they won't let us in.
- 27:55Speaker 6: I think they like drinking and driving in Tennessee.
- 27:59Speaker 4: Oh gosh, don't get political now, broccolihead.
- 28:01Speaker 7: I want to get political.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Broccolihead gets political every now and then, you guys when
- 28:05Speaker 2: you get on your freaking soapbox.
- 28:08Speaker 6: I love it.
- 28:08Speaker 2: What are some of.
- 28:09Speaker 5: Our favorite I mean, we should talk about how we
- 28:11Speaker 5: got used to being on the road together, because that
- 28:14Speaker 5: took a little bit of I mean.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Peter had to get used to our special song. Yeah,
- 28:20Speaker 1: you did not understand the special song at all, and
- 28:23Speaker 1: we were really confused why you didn't.
- 28:25Speaker 4: It's so clear.
- 28:26Speaker 8: I mean, listen, I'd love if the if the listeners
- 28:29Speaker 8: and the viewers could hear it and see if they understand.
- 28:32Speaker 2: You want to do it, just do the song for us.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Don't want to put you on this and I don't
- 28:39Speaker 2: want to put you on this and listen.
- 28:42Speaker 7: Okay, here's the thing.
- 28:44Speaker 8: Nobody wants to hear me sing your song that you
- 28:47Speaker 8: sing in the cart.
- 28:51Speaker 2: A vote on the table.
- 28:53Speaker 5: Should we sing the song where Peter sing the song?
- 28:55Speaker 5: Raise your hand if you want us to sing the song?
- 29:02Speaker 1: Had let the let the record show that one.
- 29:04Speaker 6: Of the record show one if you want Peter to
- 29:08Speaker 6: sing the song.
- 29:09Speaker 3: I get two votes, one for me and the paper ambulance,
- 29:12Speaker 3: and I have a vote.
- 29:13Speaker 1: This is for everyone who's died in a drunk driving.
- 29:16Speaker 7: Also, I forgot I could have used that. I forgot.
- 29:20Speaker 8: We always carry one vote for everyone who's died of
- 29:23Speaker 8: a drunk driving accident.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Yeah, so I'm using mine.
- 29:25Speaker 2: So it's six votes to one.
- 29:28Speaker 8: It's it's millions of votes to one.
- 29:34Speaker 7: I don't I don't think.
- 29:35Speaker 8: I you know, I don't sing it, so I don't
- 29:37Speaker 8: know if I know the words necessary.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Well, we could jump in if needed.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll help you out.
- 29:42Speaker 7: Yeah, I got it. Okay, yeah, no, I got it.
- 29:47Speaker 7: I can do it. So well, let me ask in
- 29:51Speaker 7: this song, where are we going?
- 29:53Speaker 2: Because it changes the song?
- 29:54Speaker 4: Okay, oh, I like it.
- 29:56Speaker 1: When we're going to Salem.
- 29:58Speaker 5: I love when we're going to sail We're going from
- 30:01Speaker 5: Florida to Salem.
- 30:03Speaker 2: We're going all the way from South Florida to North Salem.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Or we don't have a tour manager.
- 30:09Speaker 3: Do you have to talk about booking after this because
- 30:11Speaker 3: geographically it's not working.
- 30:14Speaker 4: Well, we should we should organize this this tours.
- 30:18Speaker 2: They sent the state the areas.
- 30:20Speaker 6: The surrounding area.
- 30:21Speaker 8: Is Okay, Salem, so we're going to Salem, Great Salem, Salem.
- 30:26Speaker 7: We're going to Salem, Salem, Salem. We're going to Salem.
- 30:32Speaker 7: S sip in on a nice cold beer. He everywhere
- 30:36Speaker 7: there's some beer.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Oh, licking up a tasty beer.
- 30:41Speaker 8: Everybody love some beer, drinking beer, but we don't drink
- 30:48Speaker 8: beer because that is bad.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Salem, Salem.
- 30:52Speaker 10: We're going to Salem, Salem, Salem.
- 30:56Speaker 1: We're going to Salem. In the car seat, this is
- 31:00Speaker 1: where we drive. We hate ambulances and we're five years old,
- 31:05Speaker 1: or are we think for yourselves? Wake up, people, it's
- 31:09Speaker 1: time to stop drinking.
- 31:10Speaker 7: Salem, Salem. We're going to Salem, Salem, Salem.
- 31:15Speaker 2: We're going to Salem.
- 31:18Speaker 9: Hallelulu, little jomm.
- 31:29Speaker 6: We're going to watch the breakdown.
- 31:34Speaker 3: I love that song, and if I if I, if
- 31:36Speaker 3: I could give notes on it, I will, I do.
- 31:38Speaker 4: I do get bumped by the end.
- 31:41Speaker 1: So Peter, I understand why you're bumped by the end.
- 31:43Speaker 1: I just don't understand how you could be bumped by
- 31:45Speaker 1: any other thing.
- 31:46Speaker 6: We say like the end because it's from another song
- 31:49Speaker 6: I've heard.
- 31:51Speaker 8: Okay, but you say, watch the breakdown the song ends.
- 31:55Speaker 7: What are we watching?
- 31:57Speaker 2: We're watching the breakdown of a character.
- 31:59Speaker 5: I I never brought this up, but I feel like
- 32:01Speaker 5: every single input that I give, I feel like it's
- 32:05Speaker 5: being fought with ferociously. I feel like every single thing
- 32:09Speaker 5: I want to add, it feels like it gets taken
- 32:12Speaker 5: down and it feels like it feels like you guys
- 32:15Speaker 5: think I don't know what's up, and I feel like
- 32:19Speaker 5: if you gave my ideas a shot, I feel like
- 32:23Speaker 5: I feel like you'd realize they make more sense.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Thank you so much for voicing that.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Thank you so much. This reminds me a lot of
- 32:29Speaker 2: our seven day salon. So thank you, thank you.
- 32:32Speaker 5: When I talked about someone, I'm really sorry you missed it.
- 32:35Speaker 7: Peter, I'm not sorry.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Oh I wish you were.
- 32:40Speaker 4: So what happens is we get these emails.
- 32:43Speaker 3: We get these emails and that's when they book us,
- 32:45Speaker 3: and because they are few and far between, we put
- 32:48Speaker 3: the dots together at the end of the month and
- 32:50Speaker 3: we go, okay, so we need to be in Salem
- 32:52Speaker 3: on the twenty second, and we need to be in
- 32:54Speaker 3: Fort Lauderdale at the end of the month.
- 32:56Speaker 2: So it's really tough because we kind of just all
- 32:59Speaker 2: do group emails. The emails come in and just separate
- 33:01Speaker 2: to all of our different accounts, so we'll just kind
- 33:04Speaker 2: of book based on what the emails get. So all
- 33:06Speaker 2: of a sudden, I'm booking someplace, you know, like San Diego, California.
- 33:11Speaker 2: And then the next moment we know Miss Budweiser herself
- 33:15Speaker 2: is booking something in Maine, and so it's and they're
- 33:17Speaker 2: two days apart, and we gotta get going in the car.
- 33:20Speaker 5: And it all goes to our travel coordinator, who is
- 33:22Speaker 5: one of the original members of our group.
- 33:23Speaker 6: His name is Gabe. Gabe.
- 33:26Speaker 5: He's amazing, but to be honest, I don't think he
- 33:28Speaker 5: wants to do this anymore.
- 33:30Speaker 2: It's tough when people just yeah, well it's because we
- 33:32Speaker 2: broke up.
- 33:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll say it, well, yeah, Gabe and I used
- 33:36Speaker 4: to fuck.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Oh and he is on the road with us, and
- 33:41Speaker 3: he did the book keeping and we broke up. Yeah yeah, okay.
- 33:47Speaker 3: And I just want to say I feel like ever
- 33:50Speaker 3: since he ever since he and I broke up, I
- 33:54Speaker 3: feel like people treat me differently, and I feel like
- 33:57Speaker 3: all of you are looking at me and you're looking
- 33:59Speaker 3: for my sackadness, and I feel like sometimes in the
- 34:02Speaker 3: car you wish I was gape And thank you so.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Much for that. Was really awesome to hear you voice that.
- 34:11Speaker 2: And again she brought that up at the salon. So
- 34:14Speaker 2: this is and so did Gabe.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Yeah, he said the same.
- 34:19Speaker 4: And I will say.
- 34:20Speaker 2: Though, it just just just throw you a little bit
- 34:22Speaker 2: of gratitude. It's been a lot easier without Gabe. And you,
- 34:25Speaker 2: you know, doing what you and Gabe did a lot
- 34:27Speaker 2: of that.
- 34:27Speaker 4: God was that good gratitude. Thank you for throwing that
- 34:30Speaker 4: at me, My God.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Through your gratitude anytime.
- 34:32Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 34:33Speaker 6: When you guys used to.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Click up the fight. Yeah, and then.
- 34:37Speaker 5: You you order us, because Gabe was in charge of everything,
- 34:41Speaker 5: you'd order us six separate cars, and we had to
- 34:45Speaker 5: have to drive to the place with six cars. It
- 34:47Speaker 5: was bad for cost, and it was bad for morale,
- 34:50Speaker 5: and it was bad for the environment.
- 34:52Speaker 2: And so it was Luckily we're not giving speeches about
- 34:54Speaker 2: the environment.
- 34:55Speaker 4: We're just thank God because we are.
- 34:58Speaker 1: That's also such it's a buzz hill, such a.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Buzz kill those guys.
- 35:03Speaker 6: Light bulb blight bulb bla.
- 35:05Speaker 5: Of course, I have a question, if we weren't talking
- 35:08Speaker 5: about drinking and driving the most important thing to talk about,
- 35:10Speaker 5: what would you guys want to give a school somebody about, Oh.
- 35:13Speaker 4: Everyone go around, everyone go around.
- 35:15Speaker 2: Ooh. Well for me, oh, I don't Oh gosh, it's
- 35:23Speaker 2: just so tough. I guess what I would want to
- 35:25Speaker 2: do is maybe something about heroin and what's your stance heroin?
- 35:35Speaker 2: I think that would be good to do something about heroin? Maybe, yeah,
- 35:39Speaker 2: because then Snarfy could come out and chug some heroin
- 35:42Speaker 2: and that would be fun and just really I'm looking
- 35:45Speaker 2: for something big and loud, and I think heroin would
- 35:49Speaker 2: be good. Got it?
- 35:52Speaker 4: Got it?
- 35:53Speaker 1: You get this way every time you talk about it's
- 35:55Speaker 1: like your bones are shaking.
- 35:58Speaker 2: I don't know what you're talking about. For me, heroin
- 36:01Speaker 2: is pretty scary but also could be fun. But you
- 36:05Speaker 2: have to do it responsibly, which means not at all.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Why are you.
- 36:09Speaker 6: Talking about it like a little boy talk about killing you?
- 36:13Speaker 2: What? What are you talking about? You?
- 36:15Speaker 1: You haven't been this way since day six of the salon.
- 36:20Speaker 2: Oh, snuff is chugging a little too much.
- 36:23Speaker 4: Now you're just going into dialogue from the show.
- 36:27Speaker 1: Is everything? Okay?
- 36:29Speaker 2: Uh?
- 36:29Speaker 6: Ooh?
- 36:30Speaker 2: For me? Yeah, it's fine over here.
- 36:33Speaker 3: Okay, let's give him a second because this is whack crazy, Like.
- 36:38Speaker 1: I think we just have to like turn him off
- 36:39Speaker 1: and turn him back on again.
- 36:47Speaker 2: Hey guys, what's up?
- 36:48Speaker 6: Man?
- 36:49Speaker 2: Hey?
- 36:50Speaker 7: Okay, what No, what just happened?
- 36:54Speaker 2: No?
- 36:54Speaker 7: Literally, what just happened? You touched his back?
- 36:57Speaker 2: No, Peter, it's okay.
- 36:58Speaker 7: Your hands and now, Peter, this is weird.
- 37:01Speaker 2: What happened at the salon?
- 37:03Speaker 7: Well that was the weirdest thing I've ever seen?
- 37:07Speaker 2: What are you talking about? You?
- 37:08Speaker 7: You went fucking crazy for a second. You said, let's
- 37:11Speaker 7: turn them on and turn them back off.
- 37:14Speaker 2: That's true.
- 37:16Speaker 4: This is your frustration with the car seat. I just
- 37:17Speaker 4: really say, yeah.
- 37:18Speaker 2: A lot of anger issues because of your past. You
- 37:21Speaker 2: know it's you have a lot of anger.
- 37:23Speaker 7: You're gonna bring my fucking past into this.
- 37:27Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, because it's so powerful.
- 37:30Speaker 6: Peter, I would say, stop digging or your shovels gonna
- 37:32Speaker 6: hitd bone.
- 37:32Speaker 4: Okay, okay, bud By, is your your turn?
- 37:36Speaker 2: Peter never can drive?
- 37:38Speaker 1: What is it my turn for?
- 37:39Speaker 3: You get to say what you would do it in
- 37:41Speaker 3: assembly on if it wasn't Oh birds.
- 37:46Speaker 2: In what way? Oh? This is so anti birds?
- 37:50Speaker 1: Yeah? I'm I'm a hard anti bird. I have I
- 37:55Speaker 1: have a pro pro outdoor cat anti bird stance, and
- 37:59Speaker 1: I'm trying to get that out there. I put feelers
- 38:01Speaker 1: out to schools. I put out like a little like
- 38:05Speaker 1: press kit. I've sent it out to schools being like,
- 38:07Speaker 1: can I come talk about how birds are bad and
- 38:09Speaker 1: birds gooters?
- 38:10Speaker 4: Or birds, oh.
- 38:12Speaker 1: Birds, birds the ones that are animals. But yeah, I
- 38:17Speaker 1: just haven't gotten a lot of traction. I mean, this
- 38:19Speaker 1: is kind of like my main thing other than being
- 38:22Speaker 1: on the board of directors at Budweiser.
- 38:24Speaker 2: So it's it's like, I really just have this one
- 38:28Speaker 2: for us, sometimes so much that you're always on the
- 38:32Speaker 2: road with us.
- 38:33Speaker 1: It's and it's tough because it's like I have to
- 38:35Speaker 1: fit you guys in with my lobbying sessions with Congress,
- 38:39Speaker 1: where I am, of course lobby.
- 38:40Speaker 2: Oh those zoom calls you do in the car are
- 38:42Speaker 2: so sometimes.
- 38:44Speaker 5: I'm so glad my daddy made you that special device
- 38:47Speaker 5: that allows you to get Internet anywhere so.
- 38:49Speaker 4: You can lobby for alcohol.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Yeah, because I lobby, but I do it sarcastically, like
- 38:55Speaker 1: I'm I'm saying, hey, you should loosen up this this
- 38:59Speaker 1: drink law. And then I go to you guys, and
- 39:02Speaker 1: I go, oh, can you even believe this?
- 39:04Speaker 4: Like when Jesus hung out with the poor.
- 39:07Speaker 1: It's exactly like that, because the whole time Jesus was
- 39:11Speaker 1: with the poor, he was rolling his eyes.
- 39:13Speaker 5: I always think it's like, God, it's so wacky that
- 39:18Speaker 5: like you with your last name, but why is there
- 39:20Speaker 5: a lobby for alcohol?
- 39:22Speaker 6: Because it's like, like the people you're talking to would
- 39:25Speaker 6: be like, why would they believe you? You know what I mean,
- 39:28Speaker 6: You're clearly like one side.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Yeah, but I don't understand. Are you saying you're making
- 39:34Speaker 1: a judgment about me based on my last name.
- 39:36Speaker 6: I don't judge.
- 39:37Speaker 1: I just feel as though sometimes you guys feel that
- 39:41Speaker 1: because of my last name, I'm not an impartial force
- 39:47Speaker 1: in this fight. I think that sometimes you think that
- 39:51Speaker 1: my message is confusing, and you guys don't know where
- 39:55Speaker 1: I stand. Well, I know perfectly well where I stand.
- 40:00Speaker 2: Thank you so much for sharing that. Thank you so much,
- 40:02Speaker 2: so wonderful your thoughts.
- 40:04Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 40:06Speaker 2: This is an open form and such a wonderful place
- 40:08Speaker 2: to share that, So thank you for that.
- 40:09Speaker 1: And thank you.
- 40:11Speaker 3: I think I would probably do an assembly for tired driving.
- 40:16Speaker 3: It's really dangerous and.
- 40:18Speaker 2: You're always tired when you drive too.
- 40:20Speaker 3: Yes, even when I drive the fake ambulance, I'm exhausted,
- 40:24Speaker 3: so I gotta be careful with that too, because it's sharp.
- 40:28Speaker 4: That's my answer.
- 40:30Speaker 5: Some people say tire driving is as bad as drunk driving,
- 40:32Speaker 5: and that's us and we say that.
- 40:34Speaker 2: We say that. There's just a little section in our
- 40:37Speaker 2: show where we go drunk driving and also tired driving, guys,
- 40:40Speaker 2: watch out is just as dangerous.
- 40:42Speaker 1: There's a moment where we go really hard on insomniacs.
- 40:45Speaker 1: We just lay into those lazy fuckers.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Yeah, because they are. They're lazy fuckers.
- 40:52Speaker 1: They're lazy fuckers, and I'm not afraid to say it.
- 40:54Speaker 4: M H, Peter, what would you do your assembly on?
- 40:57Speaker 7: I would just love to beat bucks. That's always what
- 40:59Speaker 7: I am.
- 41:02Speaker 8: Thank you, Yeah, I just I really wish the salon
- 41:05Speaker 8: to bring that up because we could have like implemented.
- 41:08Speaker 7: I do still feel like we give you a lot,
- 41:10Speaker 7: give me a lot of them.
- 41:11Speaker 6: I feel like you do a lot of beatboxing already.
- 41:13Speaker 7: I know, I agree, and I appreciate it.
- 41:15Speaker 8: If I could do something else, I'd like to, you know,
- 41:16Speaker 8: get out of the car seat and lose some of
- 41:18Speaker 8: the drunk driving parts. Fits probably past that, I kind
- 41:20Speaker 8: of it's tough to relive. Yeah, so many times in
- 41:23Speaker 8: a row. I appreciate the opportunity to tell my story.
- 41:26Speaker 8: But it's it's it's it's heroic.
- 41:27Speaker 1: I just think the beatboxing makes no sense without the
- 41:30Speaker 1: car seat.
- 41:32Speaker 2: It's like without the car seat, like what does it
- 41:35Speaker 2: actually mean?
- 41:35Speaker 3: And I think kids' brains. You have to be careful,
- 41:38Speaker 3: so you gotta go one step at a time. And
- 41:40Speaker 3: I think hearing like beatboxing coming from a mouth with
- 41:44Speaker 3: no buckle up padded seat, I think your brain goes
- 41:49Speaker 3: I'm distracted, I don't understand. Let me go on TikTok so.
- 41:53Speaker 3: But also I do feel like, Peter, we put you
- 41:56Speaker 3: in a uncomfortable spot because you're the only one who's
- 41:59Speaker 3: ever drank out of this group.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, the rest of us. Yeah, can I ask
- 42:04Speaker 1: you something, Peter? What does it feel like to drink?
- 42:08Speaker 6: What is it I feel like to drink?
- 42:10Speaker 3: And I feel like I've never really asked you this
- 42:12Speaker 3: because we never like want to entertain the possibility in
- 42:15Speaker 3: front of anybody.
- 42:16Speaker 8: But it's just us, so, I mean, I feel like
- 42:20Speaker 8: I've never gotten this attention before, maybe because I wasn't
- 42:23Speaker 8: at the salon.
- 42:24Speaker 7: But it's great. It's it's Matt.
- 42:28Speaker 8: All your cares just kind of melt away, every tension
- 42:30Speaker 8: you have, every you know, just just a simple drink
- 42:34Speaker 8: and can ease away a pain that you have. And
- 42:38Speaker 8: there's a lot of pain in this world and you
- 42:42Speaker 8: can try to fight it, but sometimes you just need
- 42:44Speaker 8: to tuck it away for a second.
- 42:49Speaker 2: I want to say, no, thank you for sharing. That
- 42:51Speaker 2: sounds like you have a problem.
- 42:54Speaker 7: You were restarted.
- 42:56Speaker 2: What are you talking about.
- 42:57Speaker 7: You were a different person five minutes ago.
- 43:01Speaker 2: You're talking about.
- 43:02Speaker 6: Can I tell you guys what I would do my.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 43:07Speaker 7: Yeah, sure, yeah, yeah great.
- 43:09Speaker 6: How men always need to pay for women on dates?
- 43:15Speaker 2: Chivalry is dead.
- 43:17Speaker 5: Women deserve a real man who pays for everything on
- 43:21Speaker 5: a date.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Oh you're pro this'st It sounded like you were mad
- 43:27Speaker 1: at it.
- 43:28Speaker 2: I want it, I want it right. You want the
- 43:31Speaker 2: man to pay it's right.
- 43:34Speaker 8: Men?
- 43:36Speaker 2: Oh here he gets political again. Women deserve a.
- 43:40Speaker 6: Real man who's willing to pay for things.
- 43:46Speaker 7: Wow, it's hard to argue.
- 43:48Speaker 8: I mean, it's there's a lot to say, but I've
- 43:51Speaker 8: gone toe to toe with you on this.
- 43:52Speaker 2: Before your guys fight in the backseat. It's tough to watch.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Sometimes it's just crazy.
- 43:58Speaker 5: You don't even hear yourself. Oh, women should pay for themselves. Okay,
- 44:03Speaker 5: that's not what I believe.
- 44:06Speaker 3: What bothers me too, is that you have no problem
- 44:08Speaker 3: with it's mostly about other people, Like when you're at restaurants.
- 44:13Speaker 3: That one time we're at that buka of a Peppo
- 44:14Speaker 3: and you leaned over and you said, she ain't paying
- 44:17Speaker 3: suckers as.
- 44:19Speaker 6: We walked in.
- 44:20Speaker 5: As soon as I walked in, I said, she'd better
- 44:22Speaker 5: be eating this on you, my friend.
- 44:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 44:26Speaker 5: Yeah, It's just important to me because I think women
- 44:29Speaker 5: deserve the world. I think women are amazing, and I
- 44:31Speaker 5: think they're beautiful, and I think that they don't need
- 44:34Speaker 5: to be bothered with pain.
- 44:37Speaker 1: And thank you, thank you so much for that, Thank
- 44:42Speaker 1: you so much for that. I honestly think it's great
- 44:44Speaker 1: that you're standing up for us totally. And you're always
- 44:48Speaker 1: so fair since you're the person who handles the finances
- 44:52Speaker 1: and the payouts at the end, you are always so
- 44:54Speaker 1: fair with it. And I have no idea what everyone
- 44:57Speaker 1: else is making, but I trust you really much.
- 45:02Speaker 7: What it's not fair the way he pays everybody.
- 45:06Speaker 4: I don't even know, Like, what are you talking about?
- 45:08Speaker 7: He takes out a meal cost he'd be because.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Oh he's making silly sad.
- 45:17Speaker 4: Brocci head, don't do the lawnmower while he's talking.
- 45:22Speaker 8: No, no, broccoli Head pays you less because it's the
- 45:26Speaker 8: meal TAXI.
- 45:27Speaker 7: That will make it back in me will make it
- 45:30Speaker 7: back in meals.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Wait, broccoli Head, but I only eat like four bites
- 45:36Speaker 1: a night.
- 45:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I just have my bolts.
- 45:41Speaker 4: Broccoli Head, turn off the lawnmower.
- 45:44Speaker 7: Broccoli had turn off the lawnmower.
- 45:47Speaker 6: What am I being accused of? I take money out
- 45:49Speaker 6: of meals?
