- 1:31[SPEAKER_01]: Camille, welcome to daily influence.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so much for having me.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_02]: I'm excited to be here today.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited to have you today.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: Can you share about your background and what led you to where you are today with our listeners?
- 1:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, so I actually started my career as a not-for-profit executive.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't start as an executive.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_02]: I started the bottom.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_02]: But I rose, and the career I had before I started this whole movement in peace of my own business was I was a CEO of a national, actually an organic food, not for profit.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_02]: It was in that work that I met, all of these really incredible spiritual beings that were also eating organic foods.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_02]: It was like a clearing of their body as well as their mind.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_02]: So I started to really, I was always a spiritual individual, but I started to see it in our regular professionals.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_02]: So your doctors, your lawyers, your Wall Street people, like the people that can afford to eat organic.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_02]: And I thought there was some type of connection here.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_02]: So I was with that job for four years.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_02]: And when it ended, I was trying to figure out, like, what am I going to do now?
- 2:46[SPEAKER_02]: I felt like I had made such big impact in the world.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_02]: And really was doing part of my purpose, right?
- 2:53[SPEAKER_02]: My own soul is calling, right?
- 2:54[SPEAKER_02]: I felt so called to continue similar work, although not exactly that work.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_02]: So I was kind of deciding, okay, what is next for me?
- 3:04[SPEAKER_02]: I was looking at different business groups.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_02]: So I would go to my local chamber or a business or B&I and something and I felt it was very salesy, very masculine energy, very, right?
- 3:17[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, these aren't my people, especially coming out of such a collaborative environment of love.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_02]: So I was like, okay, so then I'd go to the holistic ones.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_02]: And they were way too woo woo for where I was in my life because I do believe in, you know, business printables and the fundamentals and all of that.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_02]: And it does take both energies, right?
- 3:41[SPEAKER_02]: It takes our mail and our female energy to create a business.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_02]: So that's where I kind of had the idea if I can't find my people, I might as well create it in the world.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_02]: So the idea came to me to really pull together a global professional society.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_02]: So for me, my vision was always like the American Medical Association or the Bar Association or something that's more global.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_02]: Actually, at that point, I just wanted to be national.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_02]: It's turned to global, but
- 4:12[SPEAKER_02]: And that that that was kind of the idea of how do we blend this so full side of people into this business side and that's where it all started in that company was called the natural life business partnership.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_02]: We just still the parent company of all the other things I do today.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_02]: So it became a membership we grew we were literally a coffee club.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_02]: and I was meeting people in person because this is back in 2016.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_02]: So I was meeting people in person and we grew and people joined and we got together for networking and I was doing masterminds and it was all part of membership and it grew and it grew and it grew and it grew and in 20, the end of 2017 someone came to me and said
- 4:57[SPEAKER_02]: I've been watching you, like, because we were in New York.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_02]: We were mainly the East Coast.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_02]: I'm in New Jersey.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_02]: So it was New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_02]: We had like our peace, and she called from California saying, I've been watching, and I can't wait for you to get out here.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_02]: And I knew in that moment, I did not have a scalable model.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_02]: I was a single mom, three kids at home.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_02]: And out all day meeting people, and I was like, I can't continue to do this.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_02]: This isn't going to work.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_02]: So I heard of this thing called Zoom and I had this overwhelming feeling of this is what is going to be next.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_02]: Like I need to start to teach the people to get on video.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_02]: And most of the people in this world are very introverted.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_02]: I am as well.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_02]: So camera was not.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_02]: I had so much trouble getting people to turn on cameras back then.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_02]: Like crazy.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_02]: But we did it.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_02]: So in 2018, we opened up with no chapters.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it was just national then.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, we were by coastal by January, right?
- 6:05[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, this is how we're going to do it.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_02]: And I started to do coffee with Camille on Zoom to get people used to using it.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_02]: And I would start to talk about this is going to be our future.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_02]: You'll see what's going to happen, blah, blah, blah.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_02]: In 2019, I should say at the end of 2018, in 2019, I got certified in CICA, which is an energy psychology.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_02]: And that helped me dive into people's subconscious belief systems and really align it with entrepreneurship, because once we can get rid of those,
- 6:36[SPEAKER_02]: limiting beliefs.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_02]: It allowed us to build bigger businesses, right?
- 6:39[SPEAKER_02]: It allowed people to step into who they truly are.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_02]: So in 2019, people started finding me through it, and we ended up going international.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_02]: You know, as Canada is a lot of Europe, now we do Australia, now we're in 30 countries, so but that was how it went.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_02]: And in 2020, you may remember we had this global pandemic.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_02]: and as the world closed, everyone started rushing in to our community and I was a single one-woman empire, right?
- 7:15[SPEAKER_02]: It was, I was just trying to figure life out, right?
- 7:18[SPEAKER_02]: And all of a sudden we were just absolutely overwhelmed.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_02]: And of course I got a VA and then started to hire people, but yeah, we just became this overnight.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_02]: because we didn't have to pivot.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_02]: We didn't have to change.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_02]: We were running on zoom.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_02]: So nothing changed in our lives is just that everyone started showing up.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_02]: So that kind of started the whole global movement and at that time, during the pandemic is when we trademarked sole professional, the SOUL, sole professional, because I was like, this is the rise, this is the beginning, this is the transformation that we're all waiting for.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_02]: We're still going through it, obviously, in a whole different level today, but that was the beginning of the movement and the beginning of,
- 8:09[SPEAKER_02]: the brands I have today.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_02]: Later on, we added the school because I'm a former MBA professor and I just realized in that curriculum that we really weren't teaching people of service in any capacity.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_02]: We are in the schools we teach product.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_02]: Right, and over five million businesses over five million.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_02]: So anything that I call micro entrepreneur, solo entrepreneurship in service, right?
- 8:37[SPEAKER_02]: Anyone that has a practice, a healer, but even your CPAs, your insurance people, your travel, like there is no business school for that.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_02]: So I just saw this huge opening in the world.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_02]: And of course,
- 8:55[SPEAKER_02]: That's been exponential at this point because now people are leaving corporate jobs or they didn't go back after the pandemic, they're retiring early, a lot of women reinventing themselves just saying, this isn't make my heart sing I'm not doing it anymore.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_02]: How do I live a life of impact.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_02]: that, um, you know, really shows up in the world.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_02]: Like, how do I just show up differently but doing it on my terms?
- 9:21[SPEAKER_02]: So that became my brand and that's kind of where I am today.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the school is a truly unique, uh, an intuitive model for business education.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: How does it reflect your approach to responsible and solo-lined influence?
- 9:37[SPEAKER_02]: So we teach the, in my business, it's called the Soul Professional Business Accelerator Mentorship Program.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_02]: I'm actually working with people individually as we build out from concept all the way to launch.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_02]: It's a 14-week program.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_02]: That's my main signature program and the ideas in the school to actually start bringing in these global educators that no longer also work in universities because they have left, but they're actually doing it in the world.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_02]: It's, we teach alignment, like, how does it feel in your body, right?
- 10:28[SPEAKER_02]: There's always a little bit of fear when you're doing something new, but it should be like 20% fear and 80% excitement, right?
- 10:36[SPEAKER_02]: If you're not 80% excited about everything that we put out, we have to change it.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_02]: So it's not a program like everyone does this and everyone does this and everything is individualized.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_02]: And we spend the first three weeks just finding your uniqueness in the world.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_02]: Like, what makes you so unique that when you put it out there, there's no competition, right?
- 10:56[SPEAKER_02]: And we keep refining it and refining it.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_02]: And what is your title?
- 10:59[SPEAKER_02]: What does it look like?
- 11:00[SPEAKER_02]: How do you want to work with people?
- 11:02[SPEAKER_02]: Who do you want to impact?
- 11:04[SPEAKER_02]: And then we align them with core values, right?
- 11:09[SPEAKER_02]: What are your own core values?
- 11:10[SPEAKER_02]: What are your business core values?
- 11:12[SPEAKER_02]: How are we putting that out there?
- 11:13[SPEAKER_02]: And we start to build that.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_02]: as we go.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_02]: And now we align them with the UN-17 principles of sustainable businesses of impact.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_01]: That's wonderful.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_01]: I love that.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_01]: How do you personally define positive influence and how does that definition show up in your leadership and mentoring of soul-led entrepreneurs?
- 11:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, for me, positive influence is, well, it's exactly what it says, right, positive influence, but it's also about leaving your legacy in the world, which I wrote about in my third book, it's called Leaving Your Legacy.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_02]: We are leaving one anyway.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_02]: We might as well do it with intention, right?
- 11:54[SPEAKER_02]: We might as well have that ripple effect in the world.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's really how many people
- 12:00[SPEAKER_02]: are you serving and helping and caring about and doing all these great things, right?
- 12:06[SPEAKER_02]: And now I feel like, which is part of our soul professional movement, it's about being a good global citizen, right?
- 12:12[SPEAKER_02]: It's about caring about everyone in the world.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_02]: right, not just your hometown or where you are because it's making us better global citizens and that's really where the world is going.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_02]: I really truly believe that it's about entrepreneurship, it's about solo entrepreneurship are very small teams.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_02]: We're seeing, you know, businesses create millions with like two people on the team.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_02]: It's very easy to do now with, you know, the internet,
- 12:46[SPEAKER_02]: And that's what we're seeing and I think that's going to be our future.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_02]: So it's how are we aligning this to be positive impact, right?
- 12:56[SPEAKER_02]: So we say a sole professional someone who lives in a higher vibration has an alternative approach to business and is here to help repair the world.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_02]: Those are our things.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_02]: So it's all about positive impact in the world.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_01]: Iain team series and all about positive and responsible influence.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_01]: Love it.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_01]: Can you tell us about a moment of experience where you felt you made a positive impact on someone's life or business?
- 13:25[SPEAKER_01]: And what made that moment stand out for you?
- 13:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so I feel like I do it all the time.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_02]: But I was just actually writing some case studies for the accelerator because we're looking to bring it to a different region of the world.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I, I feel.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to be more global about this, because it's not always just one client, although I've had many clients.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_02]: It's that moment when they're like, can I really do this?
- 14:00[SPEAKER_02]: Like, can I step down from this?
- 14:02[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of the times we do exit plans with people.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_02]: Like, how is this possible?
- 14:06[SPEAKER_02]: But when they can see the plan, right?
- 14:09[SPEAKER_02]: And we build that confidence in who they are and the skillset they bring to the world.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_02]: And they're so unique, they're uniqueness.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_02]: that aha moment of, oh, I guess I really am a master, right?
- 14:24[SPEAKER_02]: It's drilling down and getting them to believe.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_02]: And of course, the moment they sell a product or put out a program or like something like that, they're just like holy crap.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't know that I can do this in the world.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_02]: And a lot of people that go through the community,
- 14:44[SPEAKER_02]: Even in our free stuff because I do a whole, there's a whole free community out there that I do master classes and I do basic business free.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_02]: So anyone in the world can get that for free.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_02]: It's on my YouTube channel and they can show up live with me and ask questions.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_02]: Because I really want to bring people's gifts to the world.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_02]: So I do that part for free.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_02]: So it's really that aha moment, right?
- 15:10[SPEAKER_02]: There's lots of moments of impact because I've been doing this for 10 years, right?
- 15:16[SPEAKER_02]: I've worked with high level CEOs that are stepping down and I've worked with the local wellness center.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_02]: You know, but for all of them, it's that same aha moment of, oh my God, I can do this.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my God, the world wants this, the first time I sell something.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_02]: Right, and it's almost like positive to them that, like, look, the world wants me.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_02]: Right, those are some amazing moments.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's wonderful.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_01]: In your experience, what's the greatest internal shift required for someone to lead a purpose driven business that feels both aligned and impactful?
- 15:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so mindset is the number one thing that anyone has to work on, right?
- 16:02[SPEAKER_02]: And it's believing that you can do it and holding that vision for yourself that whole time.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_02]: Because a lot of people do the self talk of, I can't do this.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not worthy.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not prosperous.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_02]: As soon as I get money, I lose it.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_02]: Like all of this stuff comes on and that's why we work so hard in the mindset piece.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_02]: Because it comes up at every level to people think it's only in the beginning, it comes up at every level.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_02]: It comes up, you know, when you're hit right before your first 100,000 right before your first million right before like a big part like and it continues to happen to me as well right and I have but now I can recognize it and go, I think that's a little imposter syndrome coming up right there right or sometimes I'm asked to do things like.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_02]: it could be be on a stage or do a program and I'm like, I don't know if I'm the best person for this.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_02]: Right?
- 16:53[SPEAKER_02]: And then realizing, yeah, I think I am.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_02]: Right?
- 16:56[SPEAKER_02]: So that mindset is your trump card.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_02]: Like it is just the most important thing is your mindset because with a clear mindset comes the confidence and confidence that creates the cash.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_02]: And you can have so many people say positive affirmations, but they don't actually believe them, and that's one of the first things we talk about, and I work on with people.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_02]: I always ask them like, are you using positive affirmations and I can test their body?
- 17:27[SPEAKER_02]: through muscle testing, if their body actually believes it.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_02]: Because if you're saying like, I'm a millionaire or I am so worthy and you don't believe it, you're actually doing the reverse to your body.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_02]: Your body's going, no, I don't.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_02]: I'm lying.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not even truthful to myself, right?
- 17:44[SPEAKER_02]: And it's actually doing the opposite effect that you think is really working.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_02]: So it's really being
- 17:53[SPEAKER_02]: and saying, do I feel this in my body?
- 17:56[SPEAKER_02]: Where do I feel it?
- 17:57[SPEAKER_02]: What does it feel like?
- 17:58[SPEAKER_02]: What does it look like?
- 18:00[SPEAKER_02]: You know, and really being in tune is, you know, is it uncomfortable or is it fear or do I just don't want to do it?
- 18:09[SPEAKER_02]: You know, so it's all of that and kind of really understanding how your body is reacting to whatever, because if you can get your body in alignment,
- 18:20[SPEAKER_02]: That's one of the core things, it's your body, it's your mindset, they say like mind body soul.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_02]: It all has to be moving forward.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_02]: Because then you can create anything.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_02]: There's no stopping someone who's in full alignment.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_02]: The universe just goes, oh, this is what you want here.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_02]: That's what they talk about manifesting manifesting is not wishing.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_02]: Right, it's really being in so entuned your mind-body and soul that your the the universe is handing you that road like here's here's the path it's when you hear over here at the perfect conversation or you're in the perfect space at the perfect time that is when you're in alignment that's when things just start rolling because your vibration is what's doing it.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_01]: That's amazing.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_02]: Do you have any tips for getting your body in alignment?
- 19:12[SPEAKER_02]: So, mostly I would say if you're not working with an energy holder to sit, sit with whatever feeling is coming up for you.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_02]: Right?
- 19:23[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of times we push them down or ignore them and just be like, I'll just work harder and that is like the worst thing you do.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_02]: The best thing to do is actually stop and take a step back.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I'll give you an example that I did because I did it over the summer.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_02]: I went into this like tail spin of, I'm not sure what's next, I'm not sure what's next.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_02]: And I knew it because I can recognize it at this point and I'm like, I'm spinning.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, I have two choices right now.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_02]: I can be in resistance and work against it and try to unspin myself, right?
- 19:58[SPEAKER_02]: And just keep working harder.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_02]: or I could literally take a step back and just stop working and decide where I want to go from here and what opportunities you're going to open for me.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_02]: And I ended up taking June and July off.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_02]: I went to France.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_02]: I did like and and I always like my mindset was
- 20:21[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to make less money by doing this because when you're working resistance, you're not making any anyway, because you're fighting your hunting, you're like, let me throw stuff out there that makes no sense, and I've done that before.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_02]: And that's how I know it.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_02]: Right?
- 20:36[SPEAKER_02]: And when you create from a place of scarcity, nothing's going to happen.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_02]: You're not telling that program, nothing's going to happen.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_02]: No one's coming, no one's listening, because your vibration's wrong, and they can't feel it.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's to stop what you're doing, step away.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't have to be two months, right?
- 20:54[SPEAKER_02]: It's just like when we're driving a car or taking a shower or working out or hiking, when your mind is not working on the problem, that's when the answer comes to you, right?
- 21:05[SPEAKER_02]: Because that's when you're open to hearing about all opportunity, that's the way our brain actually works, right?
- 21:11[SPEAKER_02]: That's how it helps us.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_02]: That's your fail save.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_02]: So it's actually to stop.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_02]: and say, like, or how do I feel about this?
- 21:20[SPEAKER_02]: Or why do I feel a little nervous?
- 21:22[SPEAKER_02]: Or why am I jittery or whatever it is?
- 21:25[SPEAKER_02]: Whatever's happening, right?
- 21:27[SPEAKER_02]: Why do I feel like I'm depressed or in a tailspin, sit with it, sit with the feeling, go deep, even make it worse.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_02]: Like, what can be the absolute worst thing that can happen in this moment?
- 21:41[SPEAKER_02]: Right, and then what's the best thing that can happen, right, because usually the worst is not as bad as you think like when you actually take time to think about it, he's to have a friend when I was first divorcing and I was just like, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, how am I going to raise three kids, how am I going to do like, and I would go and tell so he goes no matter what you're never going to live under a bridge.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, that's true.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_02]: He goes think about your family, think about your friends.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_02]: No one's gonna let you and the kids go live under a bridge.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, that is true.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_02]: And he's like, he's like, literally you're not gonna allow that to happen.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_02]: So that is not your worst case scenario.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_02]: So what's your worst case scenario?
- 22:26[SPEAKER_02]: Right?
- 22:26[SPEAKER_02]: So it's kind of thinking things like that out that yeah, like that's not gonna happen.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because we make it a lot worse.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_02]: And then we transmuted into our body.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_01]: It's a great advice.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_01]: Camille, thank you so much for sharing that.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_01]: What message or words of encouragement?
- 22:43[SPEAKER_01]: Would you like to share with our listeners who aspire to make a positive difference in the world, but may not know where to begin?
- 22:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_02]: So what I always tell people is right out what that vision would look like.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_02]: So a great question to say is,
- 23:01[SPEAKER_02]: what would I get up and do tomorrow?
- 23:02[SPEAKER_02]: And if your first thing is, I'm gonna quit my job, but you're obviously not in alignment.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_02]: Right, that is, right, when you have all the money and resources in the world, and you can choose to do anything, that is your purpose in your alignment, that's being in alignment, right?
- 23:21[SPEAKER_02]: So a lot of times your businesses have to do detail with your lifestyle.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_02]: Right, so what does that look like and start writing that vision out, you know, start seeing what else is possible if you're in a full time job started as a side gig right start looking for the answers like I said I teach all my free stuff it's on YouTube it's free you don't even have to contact me right I have free downloads people can do on finding their purpose and designing their life.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_02]: Um, that's a great place to start, right?
- 23:54[SPEAKER_02]: Well, they're ready to talk about it.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_02]: They can come into the free community.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_02]: They can network.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_02]: There's so many things that they can do.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but you first have to start with your vision.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_02]: You first have to start with what do I really want my life to look like?
- 24:06[SPEAKER_02]: And what do I absolutely don't want to show up again?
- 24:11[SPEAKER_02]: Right?
- 24:11[SPEAKER_02]: When I came out of not for profit, I did not want a board of voting board.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, I am not working with a board of directors again.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_02]: I still have an advisory board and that they offer great advice, right.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_02]: They don't have any voting rights.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_02]: They can't make me do anything, but they I do use people as an advisory board because I work great in a group, right.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_02]: So.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_02]: It's things like that.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to work weekends.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_02]: I do want to travel, right?
- 24:40[SPEAKER_02]: And the second thing is as you're starting to build don't stack your dreams.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_02]: So stacking means like when I make my first 10,000 dollar month, then I will start to travel.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_02]: Right, because you're already putting a barrier to your first domino right when I decided I wanted to start to travel and I did not have the money to travel the world like I do today.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_02]: First it was just like, how about I just take a weekend off or how about I just take a day trip and explore a new place a new city and new town right then it was like what if I the my sister and I started to sister weekends and we would go you know to Rhode Island or go on a hiking trip or actually going one next weekend and it was just an overnight thing which became really special right and then it then it grow.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_02]: What if I went to Italy for a week, right?
- 25:39[SPEAKER_02]: What if, you know, and so I wasn't stacking and based on something I was or it was not doing, right?
- 25:46[SPEAKER_02]: It's just like when you decide that you want to run a marathon for the first time, you don't go out running, you buy the sneakers, right?
- 25:55[SPEAKER_02]: It's AB steps, so you can also acknowledge your momentum.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's one step in front of the other.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_02]: You do not have to have this big global vision.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_02]: I still have a global vision that I haven't hit yet, right?
- 26:10[SPEAKER_02]: I'm still holding it for myself, but it's like, what can I do this year?
- 26:15[SPEAKER_02]: What can I do this month?
- 26:16[SPEAKER_02]: What can I do this week?
- 26:17[SPEAKER_02]: What can I do today?
- 26:18[SPEAKER_02]: Right?
- 26:20[SPEAKER_02]: That gets you towards it.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_02]: So it's really breaking things down into baby steps and holding that vision for yourself.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_01]: That's great advice, Camille.
