- 0:39SPEAKER_00: Welcome back to Reality.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: We've Got Thoughts.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: I'm Susan.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: And I'm Debbie.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: And we are here to recap Dancing with the Stars.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: And we had a lot of fun tonight because we actually just watched it.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: We watched together and we are ready to recap right now on Tuesday night.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: So let's get into it.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: It was a good one tonight.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: It was really good.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: And it was really fun to watch it together.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: Yes, it was really good.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: We had to do that, do that more.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: So we started out, it was Super Bowl night, and they had some had brought back some of the former people that were on, the NFL guys that were on.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: And so when they came out to do the opening dance, that was really cool because Emmett Smith, for example, was out there, and that was neat.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: And they also had Joe Buck, who is an NFL announcer for ESPN, was on as a guest judge.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: So he was on.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: And he made sure to let us know his wife was a former Dallas or Denver Broncos chair.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: So he had experience there.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: And so so that was good.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: And we, as always, we had to start off critiquing Julianne's outfit.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: It was horrible tonight.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: Tell me what this is.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: What is this?
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: What is she what is she wearing?
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: What what is this?
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: Are those feathers or are they just like ruffles?
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: What is it?
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: And what's with the like leather, like leather top with the leather sleeves, gloves coming out?
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: Like it's a few.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: If you're not watching us on video, you have to pull up a picture of her.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: What was this, like a burgundy wine, leathery crop top, like a short crop top.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: I'm not talking about a peek a do peekaboo mid drift.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: I'm talking about full-on crop top, matching gloves, leather gloves.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: But they didn't even match.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: They weren't even the same color.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: It's crazy.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: And then the skirt is way down low.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: So again, you're seeing like a lot of skin.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: And then the skirt is not properly tailored to her either.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: And I guess that was feathers.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: I'm blind, so we kept trying to during the show, we were trying to figure out if it was feathers or like little loops, but we think it was feathers, right?
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: I think it's feathers.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: Um I just don't get this.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: What is going on with her clothes?
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: She is gorgeous, she's great, and there's a couple things going on here.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: The outfits.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: She it's clearly she's got to have some say in what she's wearing.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: But maybe she's trying to be super fashion forward, but it's a miss for me.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: It is a big miss for me.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: Almost every week.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: They're almost trying too hard.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: She does not have to try that hard.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: She's beautiful.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: There's a lot of beautiful things where she could still be even trendy or fashionable.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: But they say any press is good press.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: So maybe they're just trying to do that.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: Maybe there's something they like about it.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: The only other thing I want to mention about Julianne before we get going is I'm actually a little bummed that when everyone made the TikToks about thanks, Alfonso, thanks, Alphonse.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: Now she has almost gone too far to the other end where she's like, thanks, Alphonse.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: Like it's just quite like timid.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Alfonso.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: I think she could be a little more energetic about that.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: Well, let's get into the dances.
- 3:56SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: First, we had Mora and Mark, and they did a tango.
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: Mora has such a beautiful frame.
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: In every dance that she does.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: I think they nailed it as far as the choreography, and the choreography was good, her frame was beautiful.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: It was not my favorite though.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, this was not my favorite of her dances.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: And if you guys have been listening, you all know that I'm a huge Mora and Mark fan.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: Um, but and they sang to Rihanna's only girl in the world, the dress is good, the choreography is good, but it was just okay.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: It was just okay.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: What was her connection to Rihanna?
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: Like she met Rihanna.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: Oh, she told this funny story about how she met Rihanna and that she was so excited that she was literally like crying and snotting and everything.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: And she told them that when she hugged her, she literally wiped it all on her on Rihanna's jacket.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: So I wonder if Rihanna realized that when that happened.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: She did know.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: Anyway, the judges seem to like it.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: Um, Joe, having Joe as a guest judge.
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: I I don't know how much weight you've put into what he has to say because I don't think he's I mean, he he obviously was a contestant on the show, correct?
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: No, he was not.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: I thought he was.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: I looked it up, he was not.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: I think this is just they're obviously tying in with the whole like ESPN, ABC, Disney.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: He's an announcer for ESPN for the NFL.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: So I just and and he must be a fan.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: It sounds like he's obviously a fan.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: He referenced several times during the night.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but I looked it up, he was not a contestant.
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he like his comment more made him proud to be Irish.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: Random.
- 5:38SPEAKER_01: Just random.
- 5:38SPEAKER_01: Anyway, Bruno liked it.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: He said it was thrilling from start to finish.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: She makes it look easy, supremely elegant.
- 5:45SPEAKER_01: Carrie Ann said some of the movements could be more punctuated.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: So she's she did give some a little bit of constructive feedback.
- 5:52SPEAKER_01: Derek said the neck went went too way too far back and she broke the line of the spine, which I think maybe she was doing that because it just showed in the practicing where she like flipped her head back and like tweaked something in her neck.
- 6:04SPEAKER_01: So I think she was being cautious when she was dancing.
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: Maybe maybe like went, I don't know.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: So it was good.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: It was good.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: They ended up getting um three eights and a nine from Joe Buck, so they had 33 out of 40 and started out started out good.
- 6:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it was a good way to start the night, I thought.
- 6:21SPEAKER_01: Then we move on to Jackson and Emma.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: It was a big week for Jackson because he had the banana bowl this week.
- 6:27SPEAKER_01: Well, all of the dancing with the stars people, because they all the pros performed at the banana bowl.
- 6:33SPEAKER_01: So it was just a busy big week for them.
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: I think I don't think Jackson's team won.
- 6:37SPEAKER_01: I think they lost.
- 6:37SPEAKER_01: No, he said they lost.
- 6:38SPEAKER_01: They said it was not their night.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: They lost.
- 6:41SPEAKER_01: Anyway, they did the salsa to the to Uptown Funk.
- 6:45SPEAKER_01: I felt like it was his best dance yet.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: It was.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: Derek said that.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: Derek said it was his best dance.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: And that it had lots of content.
- 6:53SPEAKER_01: He was clearly enjoying himself.
- 6:55SPEAKER_01: After all the criticism that he got from the judges that one week, I think he finally let go of that and was clearly enjoying himself on the dance floor this time.
- 7:01SPEAKER_01: So that was fun to watch.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: Um it was very good.
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: Joe said it felt like his wheelhouse, which I did think he seemed a lot more comfortable.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: Carrie Ann said that confidence has kicked in.
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: You know, that's what we've been waiting for.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: It was amazing.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: Um, so it was, yeah, it was good.
- 7:20SPEAKER_01: Bruno said his performance has improved incredibly.
- 7:23SPEAKER_01: Uh still a little bit jagged, but and he was slightly behind, but he's improved incredibly.
- 7:27SPEAKER_01: So I was happy to see, even with the constructive feedback, they still gave him praises because they were so nasty that one week.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I was glad that they've moved on from that and they were very supportive, and he got great scores.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: He got all eights and a seven from Bruno, so he got 31 out of 40.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: So that was really great.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: Is that his first eight?
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: I think so.
- 7:47SPEAKER_01: I think it's his first eight.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's the first eight.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: And he got three knots.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so good for him.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: It's been it's been tough.
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: So that was good.
- 7:55SPEAKER_01: So Amber and Pasha, they did the samba.
- 7:59SPEAKER_01: Amber is just so incredibly talented.
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: I mean, amazing.
- 8:03SPEAKER_01: She is amazing.
- 8:04SPEAKER_01: She's clearly an athlete.
- 8:06SPEAKER_01: She's very athletic, and it shows when she's on the dance floor.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: She's confident when she's out there.
- 8:12SPEAKER_01: I thought it was entertaining, there were good elements, but it was not my favorite either.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, as good as they are, it was it wasn't my favorite.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: Um, and they did end up getting super high scores.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: So the judges, the judges really loved it.
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: Um, Joe was literally like, it was hot.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: He was like, Am I allowed to say that?
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: And he looked back at his wife.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: He looked back at, but um, and Carrie Ann said, I guess like what the kids say, like you ate, you ate.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: And um, which if you don't know what that means, it's like it's obviously good.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: It's like the things kids say, you ate, no crumbs, all that.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: So they brought the Super Bowl energy to to the right.
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: So they liked it, gave those high scores.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: Um it was good.
- 8:53SPEAKER_00: When she went down on the splits, that was super impressive.
- 8:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: Which you know you would think that she would be able to do being being a skater.
- 8:59SPEAKER_01: She better after last week's trick.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: So that was really good.
- 9:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 9:06SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 9:07SPEAKER_01: Next one was Tyler and Sharna.
- 9:09SPEAKER_01: They did jazz.
- 9:11SPEAKER_01: He's so awkward.
- 9:14SPEAKER_01: This one was really hard for me to watch.
- 9:16SPEAKER_01: I even Sharna couldn't make him look good.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he just it it was very awkward.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: I've I've not been a huge fan of of his from the beginning.
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: He's just stiff.
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: You know, I love his story and everything, but yeah, it wasn't it wasn't great.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: Um But we have to keep in mind he's not a dancer.
- 9:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, absolutely.
- 9:36SPEAKER_01: So we're comparing him to some of these people that are dancers, but even others aren't dancers, and they're they still outshine him, I think.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: He's just awkward for me to watch.
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and considering that, I thought the judges were extremely generous with the scoring for him.
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: They were way too generous in their comments and everything.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: They gave him a lot of really good comments, which I was kind of surprised about.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: And he did end up getting um two sevens and two eights, 30 out of 40, which you know I was surprised.
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: Carrie Ann said he's actually becoming a dancer.
- 10:10SPEAKER_01: Is she seeing something we're not?
- 10:13SPEAKER_01: Because I did not see the dancer in here.
- 10:15SPEAKER_01: No, no.
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: I think he's trying, I think he's giving it a good effort.
- 10:18SPEAKER_00: And maybe that's all he can do.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: He is 6'3, he's like it, you know.
- 10:23SPEAKER_00: But we've there have been other big guys that have done better on the show, but he's not my friend.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: He's not one of them.
- 10:29SPEAKER_01: All right, all right.
- 10:30SPEAKER_01: Next up is Connor and Riley did the samba.
- 10:33SPEAKER_01: I thought it was super entertaining.
- 10:35SPEAKER_01: I thought it was his best dance yet.
- 10:37SPEAKER_01: I loved the fringe pants on him.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: I thought that was a good move on their part.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like when he came out in the pants and did the break, they they did the breakaway pants, and then he had on the fringe pants.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: I loved it.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: I loved that for him.
- 10:50SPEAKER_01: The judges were horrid.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: We were like, did they just pick somebody every week?
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: To pick to pick on?
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 10:59SPEAKER_01: They were ripped him apart.
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: I mean, I thought it was his best dance yet.
- 11:03SPEAKER_01: He was out there, he was entertaining, he was enjoying himself.
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: At the end of the dance, Riley's reaction to the end of the dance.
- 11:08SPEAKER_01: I felt like she was like, dang, he nailed that.
- 11:11SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 11:12SPEAKER_00: It was so they were so bad.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: I was thinking Connor was so much better than Tyler, and the judges were not happy.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: Ripped him apart.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: The judges were being really negative.
- 11:22SPEAKER_01: Awful.
- 11:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:23SPEAKER_01: Carrie Ann said there was no balance action, the timing was odd, and just what what?
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: This is where it was good that Joe was there because at least Joe was like, America loves you because you're fun, you're relatable, great job.
- 11:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: Um, but I was surprised.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: The scores reflected it too.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: They gave him very low scores.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: Three sixes and a seven.
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: And the only one Joe's the one that gave him a short.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: Joe's the one that gave Joe was more generous with the scoring.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 11:51SPEAKER_01: Derek, I have to give Derek a little love though, because he did say the joy and energy in the room is a 10.
- 11:57SPEAKER_00: So he started off with some positive feedback, but then Yeah, and he said like the commitment and the effort you put into it, and he he did try.
- 12:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: But then they were super brutal for him.
- 12:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I felt really bad for Connor because I I thought he really went out and just killed it.
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 12:15SPEAKER_01: So all right.
- 12:17SPEAKER_01: Julia and Ezra.
- 12:19SPEAKER_01: They did jazz.
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: It was entertaining for me, but just meh.
- 12:23SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 12:24SPEAKER_01: Something about her.
- 12:25SPEAKER_01: I did love that they threw in elements of her um movie and some of the dance moves she did in the movie.
- 12:32SPEAKER_01: I did like that.
- 12:33SPEAKER_01: It was kind of a little homage to the movie, but it was just meh for me.
- 12:37SPEAKER_01: Is there something about her that's just kind of flat?
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I just I I thought it was an interesting choice, but then the crazy thing is the judges absolutely loved it.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: They did.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: They absolutely loved it.
- 12:51SPEAKER_01: Her energy was good.
- 12:53SPEAKER_01: There's just, I don't know, there's just something about her that's just flat.
- 12:56SPEAKER_01: And maybe it's just she's so nervous and she's thinking about the next move and thinking about, you know, nailing every little step that she's just overthinking.
- 13:05SPEAKER_01: And it I don't know.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: But they they all they all loved it.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: They gave her very high scores.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: She got three eights and a nine, right?
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: And Joe gave her the nine.
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: And um, I mean, they just they raved about it.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: I mean, Joe said she could be on stage performing with J Lo at the suit at the halftime.
- 13:27SPEAKER_01: Well, she probably could, really.
- 13:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:28SPEAKER_01: I mean, she was entertaining from that aspect.
- 13:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:32SPEAKER_01: But not my favorite either.
- 13:35SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 13:35SPEAKER_01: Tatiana and Jan did the salsa.
- 13:39SPEAKER_01: Where was the salsa?
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: That's what I that's what we were saying.
- 13:42SPEAKER_00: We were like, it it just it I've been a fan of hers the last few weeks.
- 13:47SPEAKER_00: Um, and I this was not my favorite dance.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: I feel like they get into all this weird choreography instead of doing the salsa, which I would like to have seen more salsa towards the end they did.
- 13:59SPEAKER_01: And I had high hopes because in their practice, it she's like, Oh, we practice we do salsa at home all the time.
- 14:04SPEAKER_01: I feel like I pay for this.
- 14:05SPEAKER_01: And then it was just well and that's what Derek said.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: It was too laid back for a salsa.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: And I think part of that's what he meant was like they didn't get in into it.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: Carrie Ann did say I saw the improvement in the um in some of the moves that Carrie Ann and the timing and and everything.
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: Um, but she did end up getting straight sevens from the regular judges and an eight from Joe.
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: And then Bruno told her he said, When you come back, I want you to think Angela Bassa and Tina Turner.
- 14:33SPEAKER_01: That's what I want from you.
- 14:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 14:35SPEAKER_01: And I think it with that combination, we might see a whole different Tatiana.
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because I've been very impressed with her, as I have mentioned, over the past couple weeks, and I would like to see her keep improving because I I would like to see her go far.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: I think she's working really hard.
- 14:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: And I think that she is is very entertaining.
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 14:54SPEAKER_01: Guillermo and Whitney did the salsa.
- 14:57SPEAKER_01: Not a whole lot of salsa, but it was so entertaining.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like there was no salsa, I don't think, but they did Bad Bunny and Rihanna.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: It was so entertaining.
- 15:07SPEAKER_01: I have You didn't have to watch Guillermo slide on the floor and lay down on the floor.
- 15:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: It was very entertaining.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: I have not been a fan.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: I have been open, you know, open about not thinking that they should have made it this long.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: But this was super entertaining.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: And um, I thought it was cute that Joe said, all three of you are getting better week to week.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: Whitney is amazing.
- 15:29SPEAKER_01: Whitney is phenomenal.
- 15:30SPEAKER_01: Like the things she's doing while pregnant are unbelievable.
- 15:34SPEAKER_01: Could you imagine doing an aerial when you're pregnant?
- 15:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 15:36SPEAKER_01: I mean, I can't even do an aerial when I'm not pregnant.
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: Like, good gracious.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: That's why I literally looked at you afterwards and was like, Are you are you supposed to be doing that when you have a baby inside you when you're when you're pregnant?
- 15:46SPEAKER_01: I mean, there's been a lot of backlash online saying, give this woman a break.
- 15:51SPEAKER_01: She needs to be off.
- 15:52SPEAKER_01: This is not healthy for the baby.
- 15:53SPEAKER_01: And so Whitney publicly has come out and said, Hey, I feel great.
- 15:57SPEAKER_01: Physically, I am feeling great.
- 15:59SPEAKER_01: I'm tired, but I feel great.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: I do remember, I think they always say, like, as long as you're doing something that you've already been doing, it's okay.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: Like you probably should just like marathonners that still run the whole pregnancy.
- 16:12SPEAKER_00: And you know, that it's probably good for you.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: But man, I mean, she looks amazing.
- 16:17SPEAKER_00: The outfits were amazing, the music was good, and um, you know, it's it was super entertaining.
- 16:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, this is diverting, but did you hear about the woman in Utah that was she's with every pregnancy, she's run a mile, like tried to get it under a seven-minute mile or something, and she's nine months pregnant and ran her fastest speed yet.
- 16:38SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, no.
- 16:40SPEAKER_01: So what these women can do pregnant is it's amazing.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: Women are amazing, women rule the world.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: Amazing.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: Um, but this was Guillermo's highest scores, probably, right?
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: Because he's mostly gotten fives.
- 16:52SPEAKER_01: Well, he's never had a six before.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 16:54SPEAKER_01: So Joe and was just begging to get a six from Carrie Ann.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: So Carrie Ann and Joe gave him sixes, and Bruno and Derek gave him fives.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:04SPEAKER_00: So he had 22 out of 30.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 17:07SPEAKER_00: And um Oh, the other thing that was funny is that Joe um also did a um impression.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: He did an impression of Bruno, and then Bruno said imitation is the greatest form of flattery, so that that was good.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: But um How do you feel about having a guest judge on?
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: I do they do they do that every season?
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: They usually have at least one episode that there's a guest judge on it.
- 17:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 17:37SPEAKER_01: I guess it does give a little bit of flair to it, but it is you know I'd like to see a guest judge that has like extensive dance experience too, to get the whole judgy vibe from it, and not just the fluff, like, oh, I was entertained, that was great.
- 17:53SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, judging.
- 17:55SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 17:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because I would not be qualified to go judge.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: You're more qualified than me.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: Well, Joe's just as qualified as we are.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, apparently if Joe could do it, we could do it.
- 18:04SPEAKER_01: And his wife of the cheerleader.
- 18:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:07SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's funny.
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: All right, who we got next?
- 18:11SPEAKER_01: Jenna and Val did the pasta doble.
- 18:15SPEAKER_01: This was fierce and powerful, I have.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: I want to start off by saying, which I guess is a good thing, he's very hard on her.
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: But that's how he is, right?
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: He's hard on okay.
- 18:27SPEAKER_00: Um, and which is good because she is a dancer, and we talk about that too.
- 18:33SPEAKER_00: There's been a lot of talk about that.
- 18:34SPEAKER_01: How do you feel about whether or not circle of her because she's got a dancing background?
- 18:39SPEAKER_01: But then the argument is some of these people that have dancing background don't have ballroom dancing background, and it's a very different style of dance.
- 18:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:49SPEAKER_01: So you think it gives her an advantage that she's got some dance?
- 18:53SPEAKER_01: I mean, just to learn choreography and remember and all that kind of stuff, it gives her an advantage there, but ballroom is different.
- 18:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: Because that's the thing is like, should these dancers be able to be on dancing with the stars?
- 19:05SPEAKER_01: And really, if you think about it, the show is not a dancing competition.
- 19:11SPEAKER_01: It is, but it's not, it's more for entertainment purposes.
- 19:13SPEAKER_01: So if it was a true dancing competition, it would just be the judges' dance.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, and they wouldn't allow popular, yeah, exactly.
- 19:21SPEAKER_01: So it's for entertainment.
- 19:23SPEAKER_01: It's for entertainment.
- 19:23SPEAKER_01: So that's part of why there's such a variety of dancers on there, yeah.
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: So it makes it good.
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: And their dance was amazing.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: It was amazing.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: Um, first of all, I love that song.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: They danced the um pasta doble to Lady Gaga Bad Romance.
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: Um oh, Joe was funny.
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: He said, I don't know what a pasta doble is, but I assume you crushed it.
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: That goes back to what we just said about a guest judge.
- 19:49SPEAKER_00: He doesn't even know what a pasta doble is, and he's judging.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: So um so you did crush it.
- 19:55SPEAKER_01: I loved it.
- 19:55SPEAKER_01: I thought it was very, very well done.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: Bruno loved it.
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: Um, Carrie Ann said that was the first touchdown we had of the night.
- 20:04SPEAKER_01: Oh, and then Derek tries to throw in the little football theme.
- 20:09SPEAKER_01: He says, There was more power than a linebacker, more precision than a quarterback, and it was a Super Bowl performance.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: They had to get those in.
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: It was it was Super Bowl night, so they had to get those in.
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: Um, they scored straight nines, 36 out of 40.
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: Which is the best they've ever done.
- 20:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 20:27SPEAKER_01: So that was good for them.
- 20:27SPEAKER_01: So they had a good night.
- 20:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 20:29SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 20:30SPEAKER_01: Next up is Harry and Jenna did the samba.
- 20:33SPEAKER_01: I loved that hit the little ode to his hip-hop days, how he started out the dance.
- 20:38SPEAKER_01: He started out the dance and did a little hip-hop.
- 20:40SPEAKER_01: And I loved that they gave him that opportunity because that's his strength.
- 20:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 20:46SPEAKER_01: And that part was super entertaining.
- 20:48SPEAKER_01: The judges did not love him though.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so the judges were really hard on them tonight.
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: And they were talking a lot about the choreography and the dancing.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: And when you think about that, when they're critiquing that, it's really against Jenna, right?
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: It is.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: It because Jenna's the pro.
- 21:07SPEAKER_01: And I didn't love how Carrie Ann got into it with Jenna and said there was a lift, and Jenna's like, wait, what?
- 21:14SPEAKER_01: And she's so Carrie Ann has to pull up her paper and read exactly this is the definition of a lift.
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: And to publicly shame a pro, I just thought was very poor.
- 21:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she was like, I loved every minute of it and think you need to put more content in your dance, especially because yeah, she you know, she's just bad.
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: Carrie Ann was definitely it it was crazy.
- 21:37SPEAKER_01: Did you see a lift in it?
- 21:38SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 21:39SPEAKER_00: And that's when Carrie Ann read the thing about with the two feet off the floor or whatever, and she and didn't when they went back upstairs, then Jenna said, I thought it was only if you were actually up in the air.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: So I I'm still kind of confused about that.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 21:57SPEAKER_01: I thought the judges were very, very hard on it.
- 21:59SPEAKER_00: Is it because there's not supposed to be a lift in a pasta doble, maybe?
- 22:02SPEAKER_01: No, and that was her art Terrien's argument that she didn't like the lift because it's not pasta doble.
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: But luckily they did still score them high.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: They got three eights and a nine.
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: With a total of 33.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:19SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: Ezra and Daniela were our capper to the night.
- 22:25SPEAKER_01: Phenomenal.
- 22:27SPEAKER_01: Yet again.
- 22:28SPEAKER_01: I loved it.
- 22:29SPEAKER_01: I loved it.
- 22:30SPEAKER_01: They did the salsa, nailed it again.
- 22:32SPEAKER_01: Daniela is just so, so, so good with her choreography.
- 22:37SPEAKER_01: But Ezra is a showman, like.
- 22:38SPEAKER_01: He you can't help but just fall in love with him when he's on the dance floor.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: They're so amazing.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: And like you said about Daniela, she's good with her choreography, and especially because she's having to tailor it to his dis to his disability, to his situation.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: Um, it was so good.
- 22:54SPEAKER_00: Bruno said it was smoldering.
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: And I love that it was Nelly.
- 22:57SPEAKER_00: I this is like I played this, burnt this CD up in my car, and I loved that when he was the Super Bowl show in the halftime show.
- 23:06SPEAKER_00: Um, so it was amazing.
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: So they ended up getting all mines also with a total of 36.
- 23:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:12SPEAKER_01: I loved how they blinged out his prosthetic too to make it kind of blend in with the costume.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the um the uh the costume designers, the wardrobe, whatever you call them.
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: They had fun with it.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they had fun with it, it was so good.
- 23:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and he is just so talented.
- 23:31SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 23:31SPEAKER_01: Tonight was the first time that I noticed his prosthetic as he danced, though.
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: Because the way he had to put his foot down sometimes, it's the first time I ever noticed it.
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: Oh wow, that's pretty good.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: So well, and that's what Joe said.
- 23:43SPEAKER_00: Joe talked about how it was super impressive from home, but how it was really impressive in the ballroom.
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: So as much as we are all taken aback by how amazing he is to be able to see that in person must have been pretty cool.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:59SPEAKER_01: And I love that how we're whittling down now so we can really focus in on our dancers.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so it's gonna be gonna be really neat.
- 24:08SPEAKER_00: So then they started this time, they started listing off the people who were staying.
- 24:17SPEAKER_00: And they're going through Julie and Ezra, Maura and Mark, and then they said Jackson and Emma.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: So of course I was so happy for Jackson.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: I was very happy for Jackson because he's been up there several times.
- 24:30SPEAKER_01: He's been in the bottom three every time.
- 24:34SPEAKER_00: Oh wow, yeah, he's been in the bottom three every time.
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: So that was good, and they went on down the list, and it got to the end, and I guess because there's less people now, they didn't leave three up there, they only left two up there.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: Tyler and Guillermo.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: So when they were going through it, we both thought we were thinking it was gonna be Tyler.
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: But it wasn't, it was Guillermo.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: It was Guillermo.
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: How do you feel about it?
- 25:03SPEAKER_00: Well, I um, if you haven't seen it, look to our social media because we did do a video of ourselves a live reaction.
- 25:10SPEAKER_00: A live reaction of finding out, and we're gonna post that on our Instagram at reality we've got thoughts.
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: And um, I was shocked.
- 25:20SPEAKER_00: I was shocked, especially after this dance, because it was really good, and I did think that people were gonna keep voting for him, and maybe people are just finally tired of it, and enough people were voting for their other favorites because they were not happy.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: And so Tyler was eliminated, which I think Guillermo was eliminated.
- 25:41SPEAKER_00: I thought Tyler deserved wishing Tyler was eliminated, that's why.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he just wasn't entertaining to me.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: Guillermo was entertaining tonight.
- 25:48SPEAKER_00: At least Guillermo was entertaining.
- 25:50SPEAKER_00: I loved that.
- 25:51SPEAKER_00: It was a great song choice, it was good choreography, Whitney's amazing.
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: See, I'm like, you know, tired.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: We just watched it.
- 25:59SPEAKER_00: I was thinking, because in my mind, Tyler is who should be gone.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he should have.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: So who do we think, do we think that who do we think will be in the bottom next week?
- 26:11SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 26:13SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 26:14SPEAKER_01: I hope it's Tyler.
- 26:17SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 26:17SPEAKER_01: Maybe Tyler will shock us and come out with something phenomenal this next week.
- 26:21SPEAKER_00: Um, let me look back again on who was the as far as the leaderboard.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: So Guillermo was on the bottom again, and so this time it got him.
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: Oh, Connor.
- 26:34SPEAKER_00: I don't want Connor to leave, but Connor was actually down low number 10.
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: He was he was the next one, and then Tatiana, which up, and then Tyler, and then Jackson.
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: If you're going from the bottom together.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: So I think the bottom two next week are probably gonna be Tatiana and Tyler.
- 26:51SPEAKER_00: I hope so.
- 26:53SPEAKER_01: And I hope Tatiana comes out with with something really, really good because I do like her.
- 26:58SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 26:59SPEAKER_01: And I think she's working so hard, and I think she genuinely wants this so bad.
- 27:04SPEAKER_01: So I do hope she comes out and impresses us next week.
- 27:08SPEAKER_01: But I think she may be at the bottom next week, along with Tyler.
- 27:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 27:12SPEAKER_01: And I, you know, I don't I feel like Jackson's finally come into his own that we're not gonna see him at the bottom next week.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: I hope not.
- 27:21SPEAKER_00: I hope that he's like the surprise breakout and he keeps improving and people see a different side of him and like him.
- 27:28SPEAKER_00: Um it's gonna get really interesting.
- 27:31SPEAKER_00: It will get really interesting.
- 27:33SPEAKER_00: So that was a good, and it was really and we really had fun watching it together.
- 27:39SPEAKER_00: So before we go today, we are gonna talk also about Jeff Lewis Live.
- 27:45SPEAKER_00: So on Monday night was the third episode of Jeff of not I keep calling it Jeff Lewis Live.
- 27:51SPEAKER_00: It's late tonight.
- 27:52SPEAKER_00: We're also flipping out.
- 27:53SPEAKER_00: We're also recording this, filming this late.
- 27:56SPEAKER_00: Still flipping out, and Jeff is still flipping out, and um, it was episode three, and if you remember, in episode two ended with that big fight with Crystal and Joey.
- 28:07SPEAKER_00: So this episode opens up with um kind of flashbacks of that.
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 28:14SPEAKER_00: Chumped and dumped is the name of the episode.
- 28:16SPEAKER_00: Yes, chumped and dumped.
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: Because that's one thing that happens with Jeff is people get like de-chumped, unchumped, on pause, all that kind of thing.
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: He's you know, it is it is a lot of drama that that happens there.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: So they briefly start off the show with um wasn't it was Jamie Kennedy and Mercedes are on the radio show and they're kind of talking about the Crystal and Joey drama.
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 28:41SPEAKER_01: And then we have lunch with um Crystal, Shane, and Rena.
- 28:45SPEAKER_01: Is that who it is?
- 28:46SPEAKER_01: Reza.
- 28:47SPEAKER_01: Reza, Reza.
- 28:48SPEAKER_01: Um and Crystal's just talking about how disrespectful she thought Joey was, which she really was.
- 28:53SPEAKER_01: Joey's competitive, he feels threatened.
- 28:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 28:57SPEAKER_00: And I was, you know, because Crystal and Joey definitely had a real friendship because they Jeff had a, he's referenced it in the show.
- 29:06SPEAKER_00: They had Chump Con in Vegas, and that's where Crystal and Joey got to be friends, and they literally had a group tech.
- 29:14SPEAKER_00: Now I'm trying to remember who the fourth person was, because they had a group text with Reza, Joey, Crystal, and somebody else, and they would like do maybe it was Mercedes.
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: I don't know, Mercedes didn't end up going to Chump Con.
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: But anyway, they were genuinely close friends, so this is a big deal.
- 29:30SPEAKER_00: And if you are a Crystal fan and you watched her on Housewives, I think you could see how genuinely hurt she was at that chump event when Joey went in on her like that.
- 29:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 29:41SPEAKER_00: Well, and she said, I'm done with him.
- 29:44SPEAKER_01: Like I'm done.
- 29:46SPEAKER_01: He's so disrespectful.
- 29:48SPEAKER_01: I'm done.
- 29:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and Jeff's fed up with him too.
- 29:51SPEAKER_01: Jeff says his behavior is completely unacceptable.
- 29:54SPEAKER_01: It's more, what did he say?
- 29:56SPEAKER_01: It's more than a drunk energy hookup Joey.
- 29:58SPEAKER_01: Now it's a drunk, aggressive, jealous, mean Joey.
- 30:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 30:01SPEAKER_00: And I'm not wrong.
- 30:02SPEAKER_00: And that's not good because Jeff is gonna protect the other chumps.
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: He's gonna protect his show, the show, the TV show, the radio show, you know, all of that.
- 30:11SPEAKER_00: Um, so you know, crit like Crystal said, she actually was over there like checking on him, saying, you know, what's going on with you and Jeff?
- 30:21SPEAKER_00: And then, you know, Joey just gonna go.
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: Joey just went in.
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: Joey just went into her.
- 30:25SPEAKER_00: She even seemed like so genuinely excited to introduce him to her husband and everything.
- 30:30SPEAKER_00: So it was not good.
- 30:32SPEAKER_00: Like Jeff said, the stakes are higher now for the show, and Joey's just flat out getting mean.
- 30:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 30:37SPEAKER_00: So it's not good.
- 30:39SPEAKER_00: So on a side note, did do you think that Crystal purposely?
- 30:43SPEAKER_00: I'm joking, it was not purposely, but her Birkin was there and it like matched the restaurant.
- 30:49SPEAKER_00: She had her Birkin on the side of the table there, and I'm laughing because her Birkin matched the restaurant.
- 30:54SPEAKER_00: Only you would notice that.
- 30:55SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 30:55SPEAKER_00: Crystal's got a really good handbag collection.
- 30:58SPEAKER_00: I know I have to notice.
- 30:59SPEAKER_00: I love the handbag.
- 31:00SPEAKER_00: Um so so yeah, so then what happened?
- 31:04SPEAKER_00: It was intentional after the whole Birkin thing, though.
- 31:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right?
- 31:07SPEAKER_01: Sure it was.
- 31:09SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 31:10SPEAKER_01: So then we kind of flash over to Jeff talking to Kim about her house.
- 31:15SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, and what a hoarder she is.
- 31:17SPEAKER_01: And he kind of just was like, maybe I just need to focus on the backyard because I feel like she's not as tied to the backyard as she is to what's in the house, and I can actually make a difference in the backyard.
- 31:27SPEAKER_01: So Jeff's worried he's gonna put in all the work and she won't maintain it.
- 31:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:33SPEAKER_00: What's yeah, so then they decide that they're gonna do the that they're gonna do the backyard.
- 31:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:41SPEAKER_00: That's crazy.
- 31:43SPEAKER_00: I can't imagine having to deal with Jeff on my own home.
- 31:48SPEAKER_00: I would be so embarrassed.
- 31:49SPEAKER_00: Can you imagine like having him mortified come in?
- 31:53SPEAKER_00: Go ahead and have a happy at my house.
- 31:55SPEAKER_00: I did just use an interior designer, and when he first came to look at my house, we were walking, and there was a piece of art.
- 32:03SPEAKER_00: It was like these surfboards, and it was left by the previous owner, and it was in like an entryway of the house, but he was like, asked me what buckies I got that art out.
- 32:12SPEAKER_00: He's like, What buckies did you buy that at?
- 32:15SPEAKER_00: And I was like, Oh my god, okay.
- 32:17SPEAKER_00: But he is kind of a comedian.
- 32:18SPEAKER_00: Is that a goodwill now?
- 32:19SPEAKER_00: But it may well, no, I actually gave it to somebody who it's it was actually good for it's in somebody's young son's rec room type area, who somebody who's into surfing.
- 32:31SPEAKER_00: It was good.
- 32:32SPEAKER_00: It was not meant for this house, but it it it may have come from a Bucky's.
- 32:36SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 32:37SPEAKER_00: Bucky's Bucky's Bucky's has everything.
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: Bucky's does sell art.
- 32:43SPEAKER_01: You need you want it, go to Bucky's.
- 32:45SPEAKER_00: And if you live somewhere where you have not been to a Bucky's, it is a huge gas station that started in Texas.
- 32:51SPEAKER_00: They have what, like 80-something gas pumps there.
- 32:54SPEAKER_00: You go in, it's as big as a Walmart in there, honestly.
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: Almost as big, almost.
- 32:58SPEAKER_00: They have everything in there.
- 33:00SPEAKER_00: Everything you can think of.
- 33:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 33:01SPEAKER_00: So have you eaten the food?
- 33:03SPEAKER_00: Check it out.
- 33:03SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, the food's good.
- 33:04SPEAKER_00: It's really good.
- 33:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 33:05SPEAKER_00: I love the brisket.
- 33:07SPEAKER_00: The brisket and the you know, all this stuff.
- 33:09SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 33:10SPEAKER_00: So I don't think Jeff would approve of the Bucky's art either.
- 33:14SPEAKER_00: Um so oh, it was funny then.
- 33:17SPEAKER_00: So then the the show does to step back for a second, the show does just kind of skip around, but that's part of what the show is, just kind of showing you all these little snippets.
- 33:26SPEAKER_00: So I thought it was funny that Jeff and Shane are driving in the car and they're talking about the Valentine's show coming up, and they're gonna have like, what do you say, like 12 chumps?
- 33:36SPEAKER_01: All these guests come.
- 33:37SPEAKER_00: And Jeff always pays all the guests$500.
- 33:41SPEAKER_00: And like he said, it's kind of just like a courtesy, like a little bit of an incentive, and it helps their time and yeah.
- 33:49SPEAKER_00: If the girls get makeup done or whatever, then it helps them.
- 33:52SPEAKER_00: So Shane is like, oh my god, we're gonna have to pay all these chumps to do that Valentine show.
- 33:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 33:57SPEAKER_00: But I was doing the math.
- 33:58SPEAKER_00: I don't think he he, I'm sure he's not losing losing money, but um No, I'm sure they wouldn't do it if they were losing money.
- 34:04SPEAKER_00: But he, but and Jeff, like he said, he pays that.
- 34:07SPEAKER_00: Sirius XM does not pay that.
- 34:09SPEAKER_00: He pays it out of his own pocket.
- 34:10SPEAKER_00: He pays that out of his own pocket.
- 34:12SPEAKER_00: Um I want to be Jeff Chump.
- 34:14SPEAKER_00: I know, right?
- 34:15SPEAKER_00: We don't need to get get on co-hosting that.
- 34:18SPEAKER_00: Um so and then the same thing, they they're at the house.
- 34:22SPEAKER_00: So what do you think?
- 34:23SPEAKER_00: Like Aurora, they're at the house and they're kind of making fun of Aurora.
- 34:27SPEAKER_01: So it's interesting to hear the connection of how Aurora ended up with Jeff, that she worked for his grandmother, and when those grandmother passed, he just felt this loyalty to Aurora.
- 34:36SPEAKER_01: So he's kept her on it.
- 34:37SPEAKER_01: She drives him crazy, she puts him in his place.
- 34:41SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 34:41SPEAKER_01: She doesn't like half the stuff he does.
- 34:43SPEAKER_01: She pushes his buttons intentionally, I think.
- 34:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 34:46SPEAKER_01: But I love it.
- 34:47SPEAKER_01: She's fun.
- 34:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's great.
- 34:49SPEAKER_00: So Zola was his housekeeper that was that became so popular originally on flipping out.
- 34:57SPEAKER_00: And Aurora is also Zoila's sister.
- 35:00SPEAKER_00: Which is, I'm sure, how he originally hired her to work for his mom.
- 35:05SPEAKER_00: So if you go back, if you haven't watched The Flipping Out, you can go back and watch old episodes and you'll see Zoila on there.
- 35:12SPEAKER_00: And then that's when and Jeff's grandmother was awesome.
- 35:15SPEAKER_00: She's on there.
- 35:16SPEAKER_00: He took very good care of her.
- 35:17SPEAKER_00: She lived in her own house kind of till the end and stuff, but he kind of took care of her whole house household and Aurora.
- 35:23SPEAKER_00: Aurora worked there.
- 35:24SPEAKER_00: But Aurora's like kind of more fun and flaky.
- 35:28SPEAKER_00: I think that Aurora even says that about Zola, her sister being more serious one.
- 35:32SPEAKER_01: Well, and Aurora just kind of like inserted herself in with everybody.
- 35:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 35:36SPEAKER_00: She's part of the crew.
- 35:37SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 35:37SPEAKER_00: And that's how Zoila was.
- 35:39SPEAKER_00: She sat down and ate with that.
- 35:40SPEAKER_00: It was just funny.
- 35:41SPEAKER_00: Oh, Zoila, like, just to digress back to Flipping Out, um, since you didn't watch all that, Jeff literally got Zola a facelift.
- 35:50SPEAKER_00: He got her Zola like lived like full-on lived with him.
- 35:54SPEAKER_00: Aurora doesn't you know, but Zola lived with him for a long time and it was just crazy.
- 35:59SPEAKER_00: If you haven't, for those of you listening, if you have not watched Flipping Out, you will really enjoy it too.
- 36:05SPEAKER_00: You can go back and watch, watch that.
- 36:08SPEAKER_01: Um we sit down with Joey and Jeff sit down together and kind of hash it out.
- 36:15SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 36:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and Shane's there too.
- 36:17SPEAKER_01: And Shane's there, and Jeff just tells Joey, so look, people are starting to say that they don't want to be at events if you're there.
- 36:24SPEAKER_01: It's you're on this rapid self-destructive spiral.
- 36:29SPEAKER_01: And what do you think about Joey's argument?
- 36:30SPEAKER_01: Joey argues back, and he's just like, if my real friends are there to support me, and that you know, we all go through hard times, and my real friends supported me through my hard times, and blah, blah, blah.
- 36:43SPEAKER_00: So very dramatic.
- 36:44SPEAKER_00: He, this is Joey, very dramatic.
- 36:47SPEAKER_00: Since I do listen to the um radio show, and I went through all this in real time, and now I'm seeing more details of it on the show.
- 36:57SPEAKER_00: Joey actually did deal with it very well.
- 36:59SPEAKER_00: He took it very well.
- 37:00SPEAKER_00: He was like, okay, Jeff told him, no more live events, no radio.
- 37:04SPEAKER_00: I'm not inviting you to chump events.
- 37:06SPEAKER_00: He basically put him on pause.
- 37:09SPEAKER_00: And a lot of times, what happens with Jeff when people have problems with him is it blows up into this big fight, and the people are like, Jeff's a jerk, and all this stuff.
- 37:20SPEAKER_00: Joey actually handled it very well.
- 37:22SPEAKER_00: He never went and talked crap about Jeff.
- 37:25SPEAKER_00: He never went, so he was welcomed eventually welcomed back in.
- 37:31SPEAKER_00: But the problem that's happening, if we jump to current day, is now that the show is on, Joey is reading all these comments.
- 37:39SPEAKER_00: He's taking everything personally.
- 37:42SPEAKER_00: And now he is also um he's starting to say some stuff, like trying to say it's an edit and all that.
- 37:48SPEAKER_00: So I hope that this doesn't end up blowing up just blowing up again.
- 37:54SPEAKER_01: I fully expected Joey to start crying, to be honest.
- 37:57SPEAKER_01: Well, Jeff Jeff was telling him and putting him on pause.
- 38:00SPEAKER_01: You know, Jeff basically said, I just can't take the risk.
- 38:03SPEAKER_01: I've given you multiple chances and you aren't changing your behavior, and I can't take the risk.
- 38:07SPEAKER_01: You failed me.
- 38:08SPEAKER_01: I don't think Jeff's wrong.
- 38:11SPEAKER_00: No, Jeff is not wrong.
- 38:13SPEAKER_00: Joey cannot act this way.
- 38:15SPEAKER_00: And hopefully, you know, he is he's saying he can change.
- 38:19SPEAKER_00: He's comparing himself to the recycling bin and the trash, and he talks about the Joey 2.0.
- 38:26SPEAKER_00: Um, so yeah.
- 38:29SPEAKER_00: So stay tuned.
- 38:30SPEAKER_00: We will see how it all unfolds.
- 38:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 38:33SPEAKER_00: But I think that Jeff on the radio show says that the show is gonna move on to like other topics because that's the other thing, is people online are like, oh, it's the Joey show.
- 38:43SPEAKER_00: Like, it's really not the Jeff Lewis show, it's Joey, like it's all about Joey.
- 38:48SPEAKER_00: But Joey's just a storyline right now.
- 38:50SPEAKER_00: It's just a storyline, yeah.
- 38:51SPEAKER_00: I mean, it and it really happened.
- 38:53SPEAKER_01: Joey's had his moment.
- 38:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 38:55SPEAKER_01: He's his moment's done.
- 38:56SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 38:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 38:58SPEAKER_01: Jeff put the gabosh on that.
- 38:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 39:00SPEAKER_01: I don't blame him.
- 39:02SPEAKER_00: So, what about when Jeff started talking about the food?
- 39:06SPEAKER_00: Is this where he started talking about food, about how he's more interested in food?
- 39:09SPEAKER_00: Food than anything else.
- 39:11SPEAKER_00: Than intimacy.
- 39:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 39:13SPEAKER_00: He said even when he's being intimate, he's thinking about food.
- 39:16SPEAKER_00: When he's having sex, he's thinking about food.
- 39:18SPEAKER_00: He thinks he's more interested in food.
- 39:19SPEAKER_00: He is so funny.
- 39:20SPEAKER_00: That's another thing he's always been like that.
- 39:22SPEAKER_00: He talks about on the radio.
- 39:24SPEAKER_00: He talked about in flipping out the first thing in the morning, they'd be like, What are we having for lunch?
- 39:28SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh, so I like I'm actually envious of their meals together.
- 39:32SPEAKER_01: Like their food looks great.
- 39:34SPEAKER_01: But he also jokes, he's like, Do y'all ever even eat outside of here?
- 39:38SPEAKER_01: They're like, No, we don't have to.
- 39:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and he's like, I've lost gained weight working here.
- 39:46SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 39:47SPEAKER_01: I would eat with them.
- 39:49SPEAKER_01: Um, now we get to the Valentine's Day show.
- 39:53SPEAKER_01: Valentine's sleigh.
- 39:56SPEAKER_01: It was good.
- 39:57SPEAKER_01: It was really good.
- 39:59SPEAKER_01: It was good.
- 40:00SPEAKER_01: You play a game to decide which chump the story belongs to.
- 40:04SPEAKER_01: What do you think of the story about um the backdraft nickname?
- 40:07SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, that's hilarious.
- 40:09SPEAKER_00: Because again, if you watch Flipping Out or you watch the radio, like you we know Carrie a lot more.
- 40:15SPEAKER_00: Like that is so Carrie Lewis.
- 40:17SPEAKER_00: It's also their first show without Joey.
- 40:19SPEAKER_01: And there was zero drama.
- 40:22SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 40:22SPEAKER_00: So that was pretty telling.
- 40:24SPEAKER_00: It went pr it went easily.
- 40:26SPEAKER_00: They um it was good.
- 40:28SPEAKER_00: It was really good.
- 40:29SPEAKER_00: They did that heated rivalry scene with Todd, Todd Lewis, Jeff's brother Todd, is hilarious.
- 40:35SPEAKER_00: Paul and Todd did that.
- 40:36SPEAKER_00: Doug did the um did the stage direction, and um, and Doug Buden is much more a part of the radio show than he has been on the TV show this show so far.
- 40:46SPEAKER_00: So we'll see if he's on there anymore.
- 40:49SPEAKER_00: Um, and it's crazy.
- 40:51SPEAKER_00: It's funny when Kean was saying the stuff about Jameson.
- 40:55SPEAKER_00: Are you starting to get a feel for how what do you think of Jameson?
- 40:59SPEAKER_01: Uh it I like I said, it is the most diverse group of people on the planet.
- 41:05SPEAKER_01: Um, he could not have picked more different people.
- 41:08SPEAKER_00: I like Jamison.
- 41:10SPEAKER_00: I love Jameson.
- 41:11SPEAKER_00: I like him.
- 41:12SPEAKER_00: I love Jameson.
- 41:13SPEAKER_00: He is so great, and it cracks me up because Jameson actually works for Sirius XM.
- 41:17SPEAKER_00: Oh, I did not know that.
- 41:19SPEAKER_00: Yes, he he works for Sirius, not Jeff.
- 41:21SPEAKER_00: And it's a funny thing because even like on the radio, like Jameson had the same car for like 20 years or something.
- 41:29SPEAKER_00: Like he got a car for high school or college, probably high school graduation or something.
- 41:35SPEAKER_00: And he drove that car.
- 41:36SPEAKER_00: And Jeff literally was like, I will buy you a car.
- 41:39SPEAKER_00: And Jameson's like, no, because Jamison's like, I don't want to have, you know, have some kind of thing hanging over my head.
- 41:45SPEAKER_00: But they have a very good relationship now.
- 41:47SPEAKER_00: But but Jameson does work for Sirius, not for Jeff.
- 41:52SPEAKER_00: But he's to me is like one of the breakout stars of the of the show, and they're always talking about, oh, like on the show, Jamie Kennedy calls him corporate Connie and stuff because he's always like the one keeping them on the straight narrow.
- 42:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:06SPEAKER_00: So funny.
- 42:07SPEAKER_01: That reminds me of the story of my dad.
- 42:09SPEAKER_01: So my dad um had this little calculator that had all the basic buttons and with all the new technology and calculators and everything that came out.
- 42:17SPEAKER_01: He worked in the mortgage industry for years.
- 42:19SPEAKER_01: He did everything on that little tiny, probably$5 calculator, his whole career.
- 42:26SPEAKER_01: And I asked if somebody asked him one time, they're like, Why don't you upgrade?
- 42:29SPEAKER_01: You've got these calculators that'll do all these things for you.
- 42:32SPEAKER_01: He's like, This thing made me a lot of money, and I am not gonna stray from it.
- 42:35SPEAKER_01: I like that story.
- 42:36SPEAKER_01: Jameson was not gonna stray from that car because it was that was his thing.
- 42:40SPEAKER_00: He finally, Jameson finally got a Prius.
- 42:43SPEAKER_00: I think, yeah, he got a Prius.
- 42:45SPEAKER_00: It was like, and he the way you can tell how he's so type A, he did so much research and all this stuff, and he finally got a new car.
- 42:52SPEAKER_01: So I'm sure he's enjoying it.
- 42:53SPEAKER_01: We never did get a new calculator in his hands.
- 42:55SPEAKER_01: But that's a computer.
- 42:57SPEAKER_01: When he was on the computer, he refused to use the calculator on the computer because he was gonna use that little calculator that made him all his money.
- 43:04SPEAKER_01: That's so true.
- 43:05SPEAKER_01: That's a good story.
- 43:06SPEAKER_01: That's a good story.
- 43:08SPEAKER_01: All right, how about Jeff and his Christmas love of Christmas?
- 43:10SPEAKER_01: You I know you went nuts for this one.
- 43:14SPEAKER_01: My Christmas lover.
- 43:18SPEAKER_01: You love Jeff Lewis.
- 43:19SPEAKER_01: So funny.
- 43:20SPEAKER_01: Is it just in it into Christmas just as much as you are?
- 43:23SPEAKER_01: I love Christmas.
- 43:24SPEAKER_01: It's my favorite holiday of the year, and it's my favorite to decorate for.
- 43:27SPEAKER_00: How funny that he has got control of the music on he's got Shane controlling the music from the phone, and Aurora's back at the house, and he's tormenting her with the Christmas music.
- 43:36SPEAKER_00: She hates Christmas music.
- 43:38SPEAKER_00: She hates it.
- 43:39SPEAKER_00: And it and but and this was like February or something when because think about it, it was Valentine's Day.
- 43:44SPEAKER_00: It was around because that's what he was saying, that he just keeps playing it.
- 43:49SPEAKER_00: I remember that back on the radio when he was talking about that he was doing that to her on the show.
- 43:53SPEAKER_01: Well, because he was mad at the housekeepers, because he specifically told them not to use vinegar when they cleaned.
- 43:57SPEAKER_01: And he walked downstairs one morning and got physically ill because they had cleaned with vinegar, and that was his way of torturing them.
- 44:05SPEAKER_00: He is so funny.
- 44:07SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 44:07SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I love the Christ.
- 44:09SPEAKER_00: And now he's gotten even more into Christmas stuff, I think, since he's had Monroe.
- 44:13SPEAKER_00: But yeah, he loves like talking about his decorations.
- 44:16SPEAKER_00: I hope Monroe's on the show, because I need to I need to get a feel for Monroe.
- 44:20SPEAKER_00: So unfortunately, she won't end up being on the show because of her other dad.
- 44:24SPEAKER_00: Uh and the thing is, is that you know, it's kind of interesting because when they were together, Monroe was on the show when they were together.
- 44:34SPEAKER_00: Yes, when Gage was on the show, but now Gage is like poolier than that.
- 44:39SPEAKER_00: So he will not allow her to be on the show.
- 44:42SPEAKER_00: I don't think Jeff's even officially supposed to be allowed to like post pictures of her, but he will sometimes or on a story.
- 44:48SPEAKER_00: But Gage would literally like somehow contact Instagram and get pictures of her taken down and stuff.
- 44:54SPEAKER_00: Just petty.
- 44:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 44:55SPEAKER_00: Petty, petty, petty.
- 44:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 44:57SPEAKER_00: So unfortunately, we won't.
- 44:59SPEAKER_00: So hopefully at some point.
- 45:00SPEAKER_00: But she's really cool.
- 45:01SPEAKER_00: You get, he tells a lot of stories about her on the radio show.
- 45:05SPEAKER_00: You can tell you just gotta get this.
- 45:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 45:07SPEAKER_00: He's a good dad.
- 45:08SPEAKER_00: He's very devoted.
- 45:09SPEAKER_00: You just gotta get the serious XM app.
- 45:11SPEAKER_00: And although I say that, the big drama going on outside of the show is that Jeff's contract is up in like three days on Friday.
- 45:20SPEAKER_00: And they still haven't renewed it.
- 45:22SPEAKER_00: So every day we're like waiting to hear the news.
- 45:25SPEAKER_00: Oh, I'm sure it's just part of the theatrics of all of it.
- 45:28SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 45:29SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 45:30SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 45:31SPEAKER_01: I really think that they haven't I don't know.
- 45:34SPEAKER_01: Clearly with the TV show and everything, like they've gotta renew it.
- 45:38SPEAKER_01: Maybe they're fighting over the the details of it.
- 45:40SPEAKER_01: It's the details.
- 45:41SPEAKER_00: Well, yeah, that's what's happening.
- 45:45SPEAKER_00: Yes, I think that he wants more money, which I don't blame him.
- 45:48SPEAKER_00: I think the show is wild, his radio show is wildly popular.
- 45:51SPEAKER_00: I think it's very, very popular.
- 45:54SPEAKER_00: And um, you know, you look at some of these huge money deals that people get on Sirius and then they're reportedly like, you know, kind of fighting with him or whatever over money, then yeah, so hopefully they will come back.
- 46:05SPEAKER_00: It's like a professional athlete.
- 46:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 46:07SPEAKER_00: I mean, he basically is telling them if you don't, if we don't do something, because they kept telling him, well, we'll just do an extension while we work it out.
- 46:15SPEAKER_00: He's like, because maybe he's done that in the past.
- 46:17SPEAKER_00: He's like, no extension.
- 46:18SPEAKER_00: I will not be here on Monday if we don't have this done.
- 46:22SPEAKER_00: Wow to I gotta tune into the radio.
- 46:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so it's gonna be interesting because he, I think he's already been out doing research.
- 46:29SPEAKER_00: Like, he's like, I will start my own podcast network and do it.
- 46:33SPEAKER_00: He hasn't started his own network at this point.
- 46:35SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 46:36SPEAKER_00: And he says he told them, I will take the listeners, I will take the employees, I will take all these.
- 46:41SPEAKER_00: So this is gonna be really interesting.
- 46:43SPEAKER_00: He will for as catfighting as he is, he will do it.
- 46:46SPEAKER_00: I think even Jamison would leave.
- 46:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Jameson would probably start it up for him.
- 46:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 46:53SPEAKER_00: Oh, make it interesting.
- 46:55SPEAKER_00: It was gonna be very interesting because think about it.
- 46:59SPEAKER_00: So the TV show, Andy Cohen, he's on Radio Andy on Sirius XM.
- 47:05SPEAKER_00: So Andy Cohen is his boss there, and Andy is an executive producer on Still Flipping Out, because Andy, of course, like I don't know, all you know, his whole relationship and his roles at Bravo change from time to time.
- 47:19SPEAKER_00: But with he's not an executive producer on every single show, but he's uh but he is an executive producer on Jeff's show, the Still Flipping Out.
- 47:29SPEAKER_00: So this whole thing is gonna be interesting.
- 47:30SPEAKER_00: So we will we will see and we will report back on that and everybody will be be knowing.
- 47:36SPEAKER_00: But the next the way the last scene of the show is when he goes back to Kim's house, Kim Whitley.
- 47:42SPEAKER_01: And by now he's fixed the pool, done everything that needed to be done.
- 47:46SPEAKER_01: All she had to do was maintain it.
- 47:48SPEAKER_01: And she hasn't done squat.
- 47:51SPEAKER_00: She did not get the pool guy out there.
- 47:53SPEAKER_00: The pool looks bad.
- 47:54SPEAKER_00: She's trying to say that she was using the robot thing.
- 47:57SPEAKER_00: Her assistant totally rats her out.
- 48:00SPEAKER_00: Nope.
- 48:01SPEAKER_00: Tells Jeff, No, she just turned that thing on yesterday.
- 48:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she's got this little robot that supposedly cleans the pool.
- 48:06SPEAKER_01: Jeff's like, what is that thing?
- 48:08SPEAKER_01: You got you need to get a pool.
- 48:09SPEAKER_01: He had specifically told her, get a pool boy out here tomorrow and get your pool guy working on it regularly.
- 48:15SPEAKER_00: And for anybody that has a pool, do you know, like you cannot let it go like that?
- 48:21SPEAKER_00: Because like he said the chemicals and all that.
- 48:24SPEAKER_01: So the water started turning in a other col a different color, started going green again.
- 48:28SPEAKER_01: Like Jeff was just so disappointed.
- 48:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 48:31SPEAKER_00: So he had Kim on the show today, on the radio show today.
- 48:35SPEAKER_00: I think specifically to be on there like the day after she was on.
- 48:40SPEAKER_00: Luckily, they are still friends, but he is like, I'm not, you know, he was supposed to go back and do her master bedroom, all this stuff.
- 48:46SPEAKER_00: So then they were getting on her about the hoarding and all that stuff.
- 48:51SPEAKER_00: And then like people were calling in.
- 48:53SPEAKER_00: It was hilarious.
- 48:54SPEAKER_00: So um they're in a good place, but I don't know if he'll be doing any more detail.
- 48:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I wonder if he'll he'll be able to attack the interior of her house because she's got a lot of work to do in there.
- 49:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 49:04SPEAKER_00: But she can't even maintain her backyard.
- 49:06SPEAKER_00: And you know, exactly.
- 49:09SPEAKER_01: It's and he said she just wasted 20 grand.
- 49:12SPEAKER_00: 20 grand.
- 49:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she spent a lot of money for that pool.
- 49:15SPEAKER_00: Why would you not follow up with your maintenance?
- 49:18SPEAKER_00: She's gotta do it.
- 49:19SPEAKER_01: I wonder how the pool is now.
- 49:20SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's that's like doing maintenance on your skincare, and then all of a sudden one day just deciding you're not gonna do it, and then wondering six months down the road why you look like garbage.
- 49:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
