- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey gang, DJ Daniel here to let you know once again,
- 0:03Speaker 1: this episode contains spoilers for the shows Obi Wan and
- 0:07Speaker 1: Old Man. The spoilers begin ten minutes and thirty seconds
- 0:11Speaker 1: after I'm done talking, an end three minutes later at
- 0:14Speaker 1: thirteen minutes and thirty seconds after this little speech. Enjoy
- 0:18Speaker 1: the show. There he is. Boom the birthday boy. Boom
- 0:24Speaker 1: boom boom boom. You're looking good man, boom boom boom boom. Yeah,
- 0:30Speaker 1: happy birthday, Thank you. I had a I had probably
- 0:33Speaker 1: one of the best birthdays of my life. Man, tell us,
- 0:36Speaker 1: tell us about the show you got to shoot? To
- 0:38Speaker 1: remind everybody he got to shoot a news sitcom pilot
- 0:40Speaker 1: on his birthday. You look young and fresh. What happened? Shaved?
- 0:45Speaker 1: They shaved and a hair cut at a brother. Um,
- 0:48Speaker 1: it was okay, So it is a moment of honesty.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Go ahead. You know, I've wanted to play a superhero
- 0:58Speaker 1: for a really long time, and this everybody knows that,
- 1:02Speaker 1: or do star Wars or something like that, and this
- 1:05Speaker 1: is a turn in a complete opposite direction of that.
- 1:09Speaker 1: And at first I was really hesitant and didn't know
- 1:12Speaker 1: if this was something that I wanted to do, and
- 1:16Speaker 1: When I found out that this person was doing the show,
- 1:21Speaker 1: I knew that I had to do it because just
- 1:25Speaker 1: as a as a kid growing up, I looked up
- 1:28Speaker 1: to a character that he played in a movie and
- 1:31Speaker 1: then him as an actor for another movie he was in,
- 1:35Speaker 1: and this is John Cryer. Yeah. Like and when I
- 1:39Speaker 1: say this, my whole persona in high school was a
- 1:45Speaker 1: mash up of Ducky and Dwayne Wayne from a different world.
- 1:51Speaker 1: That was like, that was who I was. Ducky again,
- 1:55Speaker 1: I forgot pretty and pink, pretty pink. That was my vibe.
- 2:00Speaker 1: And so they were like, yo, it would be a
- 2:03Speaker 1: show which you and John Cryer. I was like absolutely,
- 2:06Speaker 1: And Michael Malley wrote it, Abigail Spencers in it. It
- 2:10Speaker 1: was it's a freaking amazing And we shot the pilot
- 2:15Speaker 1: on my birthday and it was I mean, it's just
- 2:18Speaker 1: a crazy story. It's a true story. It's about you know,
- 2:22Speaker 1: the owner of the Boston Celtics is who I play.
- 2:26Speaker 1: I'm going to do it from my perspective, but in
- 2:28Speaker 1: like a hole, it's a family breaks up because they
- 2:34Speaker 1: realized they're better apart. But they realized to make their
- 2:38Speaker 1: kids happy, they need to create a common ground. So
- 2:41Speaker 1: there's a house that and it's not giving the show away.
- 2:44Speaker 1: If there's a house that, uh, that the kids live
- 2:48Speaker 1: in and the parents on their week come and move
- 2:52Speaker 1: into the house of a couple doing that, I don't
- 2:54Speaker 1: know if it's sustainable, tenable, but I've heard of people
- 2:57Speaker 1: doing that at least during the during ring a trial
- 3:00Speaker 1: period or something, you know, while they're doing a trial.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Separation vibes right, Well, it seemed to work for this family,
- 3:07Speaker 1: and so they're giving saying it's a true story. Right,
- 3:11Speaker 1: it worked for this family, and uh, it's like the
- 3:16Speaker 1: guide to how you can have amicable split and still
- 3:21Speaker 1: raise your children and still love each other and even
- 3:25Speaker 1: marry someone else, you know what I mean. And that
- 3:29Speaker 1: person come in and be a part of the dynam
- 3:31Speaker 1: She marries the owner of the Boston self. She marries
- 3:34Speaker 1: the owner of the Boston Celtics, and uh, and uh,
- 3:38Speaker 1: now he's a part of the whole thing. Wow, I mean,
- 3:41Speaker 1: you just sold the hell out of it to me.
- 3:42Speaker 1: But of course I'm biased, But you just said I
- 3:45Speaker 1: love Abigail Spencer. Who doesn't love John Cryer? I love
- 3:48Speaker 1: Donald Phazon, right, Michael Malley wrote at Holy Cow, Now
- 3:52Speaker 1: let me tell you this. I had no clue might
- 3:55Speaker 1: could write like this dude. That dude got skills, brote
- 3:58Speaker 1: for real, for real life. Just laugh. We laugh so much.
- 4:02Speaker 1: And the audience, how how did you were you able
- 4:04Speaker 1: to have an audience? Yes, first time in two years? Great?
- 4:08Speaker 1: And how did that? A must have felt so good
- 4:09Speaker 1: at getting a real audience. Laugh. I jumped up into
- 4:12Speaker 1: the stands and you always do. I remember, I remember
- 4:14Speaker 1: I used to go sit when Donald was on a
- 4:16Speaker 1: sitcom called The Exes. I would go. I had guest
- 4:18Speaker 1: starred once. And this dude once they started playing music
- 4:22Speaker 1: loud and hamming it up. This guy who's in the
- 4:24Speaker 1: audience with a mic. It's the only time you get
- 4:28Speaker 1: to really perform in front of somebody. Yeah, it's such
- 4:32Speaker 1: a high when you're so good at it. He's like
- 4:34Speaker 1: dancing and singing. And because when you do plays, you
- 4:38Speaker 1: could do it with the play and that's great. But
- 4:40Speaker 1: it's the same thing over and over again. That's the
- 4:43Speaker 1: other thing. We only had five days to shoot this
- 4:45Speaker 1: bad Boy, and it's a pilot, and that's great for
- 4:47Speaker 1: a sitcom, but we're trying to make the best sitcom
- 4:50Speaker 1: we can make for But the audience is only their once, right,
- 4:53Speaker 1: the audience is only their once. Yeah, but we're you know,
- 4:55Speaker 1: there's the for those of you out there who don't know,
- 4:58Speaker 1: there's the table read first, and you do that with
- 5:01Speaker 1: the network and the studio, and then they give in
- 5:04Speaker 1: notes and then you come in the next day and
- 5:06Speaker 1: then there's another table read, and then you try and
- 5:09Speaker 1: put the show on its feet right, and then either
- 5:13Speaker 1: at the end of that day there's a run through
- 5:15Speaker 1: for the studio and then you go home. Then the
- 5:18Speaker 1: next day you come in and usually there's notes after that.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Every day on this one there were notes and you
- 5:25Speaker 1: would be like, all right, we gotta try or let's
- 5:27Speaker 1: try it this way, Let's try it this way. But
- 5:29Speaker 1: John is such a master you know, or to get
- 5:31Speaker 1: you know what I mean. And Abigail is so flexible
- 5:34Speaker 1: in this whole thing. Man. It was just like John
- 5:37Speaker 1: is such a good person to do with because he
- 5:38Speaker 1: had so many years of doing it on the Charlie
- 5:42Speaker 1: Jean Show. He makes it look effortless. Man. I totally
- 5:47Speaker 1: underestimated his skill level. Man, it was difficult to keep
- 5:51Speaker 1: up like this dude is very very masterful. Like it's
- 5:56Speaker 1: it was so much fun anyway, I had the time
- 5:59Speaker 1: so happy. You look you were like glowing, You look gorgeous.
- 6:03Speaker 1: But it was completely the opposite direction of the way
- 6:07Speaker 1: I wanted to go. And this is what I'm trying
- 6:09Speaker 1: to tell everybody out there's a whole expression people plan
- 6:12Speaker 1: God laughs. You know what I mean. I like that.
- 6:16Speaker 1: You never heard that. No, I never heard that people
- 6:18Speaker 1: plan God laughs. That's fun. Now, regardless, the network has
- 6:21Speaker 1: to put pick it up and we you know, it
- 6:22Speaker 1: would be fun to do a lot of these, It
- 6:24Speaker 1: would be so awesome. Well listen, it's it's a really
- 6:26Speaker 1: great package for a network. I mean, you and Cryer
- 6:29Speaker 1: and Abigail and Michael Malley and I'm I'm in, I'm in,
- 6:34Speaker 1: I'm and I'm ready to get star right on see
- 6:37Speaker 1: and here we go, let's go. The only time I've
- 6:40Speaker 1: ever been on a sitcom I think, I think obviously
- 6:43Speaker 1: the one we the one we did is a spoof
- 6:45Speaker 1: and scrubs, but that wasn't it was really real. And
- 6:48Speaker 1: then your show, which had so much fun doing. Oh,
- 6:51Speaker 1: I did Datable one we both did our badd had
- 6:53Speaker 1: a small part and that I didn't really do much
- 6:55Speaker 1: on Datable. That was fun though. Yeah, but they're so
- 6:59Speaker 1: fun because the audience is so hyped to be there.
- 7:01Speaker 1: And I've said this before. If you're if you're a
- 7:02Speaker 1: fan of TV um comedy, when you come to LA,
- 7:06Speaker 1: it's a really fun I did it as a child.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I would just say to Bob Newhart Show, get get
- 7:11Speaker 1: tickets to see a live taping of a sitcom. Um,
- 7:15Speaker 1: you know, anything obviously if if it's a super I
- 7:18Speaker 1: guess there aren't too many. They're huge these days, like
- 7:20Speaker 1: like like friends level. But you can just get tickets
- 7:23Speaker 1: to anything and just see the experience of how they're
- 7:25Speaker 1: how they're made. I remember thinking as a kid, and
- 7:28Speaker 1: your kids will love it. It's so cool. Um. I
- 7:31Speaker 1: remember thinking as a child it was just so fascinating
- 7:34Speaker 1: as someone who loved TV to watch it actually how
- 7:36Speaker 1: it's done and how how how it gets made. It's yeah,
- 7:38Speaker 1: well yeah, that that part's fun. If you got a
- 7:41Speaker 1: good if you have a good warm up person, yeah,
- 7:43Speaker 1: but they're usually good, right, yeah, they're always good, But
- 7:46Speaker 1: when you have a good one, it really helps your fly. Like,
- 7:49Speaker 1: we had a really good night last night. And it
- 7:50Speaker 1: wasn't the usual guy. No, it wasn't Alan, it wasn't
- 7:54Speaker 1: Al you've had a guy, if you had a guy
- 7:55Speaker 1: that I've seen so many times. So for those you
- 7:57Speaker 1: don't know, there's a lot of downtime, right, So they
- 7:59Speaker 1: have a comedian who just entertains the audience the whole time.
- 8:03Speaker 1: And some of these guys are so and gals are
- 8:06Speaker 1: so fucking funny, and so it's good because the audience
- 8:10Speaker 1: would get bored as hell if there wasn't someone like,
- 8:12Speaker 1: you know, keeping their energy up and they keep it
- 8:14Speaker 1: really cold and they blast music, and you know, it
- 8:17Speaker 1: makes it, it makes it makes the whole thing an
- 8:18Speaker 1: experience because you know, as they're changing camera setups and
- 8:21Speaker 1: doing it again and again, there's a lot of downtime.
- 8:24Speaker 1: But some of these guys were on Donald's show that
- 8:26Speaker 1: the guy was so hilarious. Yeah, well the guy we
- 8:28Speaker 1: had last night was really good too. It's always good
- 8:31Speaker 1: when they give out gifts and stuff like that to
- 8:34Speaker 1: the audience because the audience really gets invested. And I'm
- 8:37Speaker 1: gonna tell you something out there, for those of you
- 8:39Speaker 1: who do sitcoms and stuff like that, the audience truly
- 8:43Speaker 1: appreciates it when you jump into the standing, especially on
- 8:47Speaker 1: your birthday. Did they sing happy birthday too? They did
- 8:49Speaker 1: sing Happy Birthday. They did both versions. They did the
- 8:53Speaker 1: Happy Birthday, they did the white version, and then they
- 8:56Speaker 1: did the black version. It was awesome I heard them.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I've never heard them describe that way. But okay, wasn't
- 9:02Speaker 1: that Stevie Wonders version. Stevie Wonder did it from Martin
- 9:05Speaker 1: Luther King? Oh? I never yet the origin of it.
- 9:08Speaker 1: So and also that song is so expensive and the
- 9:14Speaker 1: birthday used to be but not anymore, right, not anymore.
- 9:17Speaker 1: But at one point, you know, when I don't know
- 9:20Speaker 1: if they passed away, I don't know what happened. The
- 9:23Speaker 1: copyright on things eventually runs out right, and and but
- 9:27Speaker 1: they held on not that's impossible. They held onto that
- 9:29Speaker 1: thing so tight, you know. Will you look up the reason? Um? Sorry,
- 9:33Speaker 1: we don't have Joella again today. She's out with a
- 9:36Speaker 1: cold and we're hoping that she's better soon. But Dana
- 9:40Speaker 1: will do all the looking up duties today. And Donald,
- 9:42Speaker 1: I have a birthday surprise for you that that was
- 9:44Speaker 1: going to be coming up. Lando Calrissian. It's not Lando Calrissian,
- 9:49Speaker 1: but it's a shame we can't talk about it will
- 9:50Speaker 1: be one because okay, no, please alert come down due
- 9:54Speaker 1: to spoiler alert to spoiler alert? Did you want to
- 9:56Speaker 1: do today? What did you watch it? Okay? On Dan,
- 10:00Speaker 1: what happened with happy Birthday? You used to? If you sorry,
- 10:03Speaker 1: it's one parenthetical if you if you ever watch TV
- 10:06Speaker 1: shows very often when a birthday would happen, they wouldn't
- 10:09Speaker 1: sing a happy birthday because the rights to it were
- 10:11Speaker 1: so expensive. Then unless you were had a substantial budget,
- 10:15Speaker 1: people would just skip it and they'd go for he
- 10:16Speaker 1: is a jolly good fellow or something like that like that.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Nowadays it's free, Daniel. What happened? It was in twenty sixteen,
- 10:22Speaker 1: believe late June twenty sixteen, Warner Chapel Media settled for
- 10:27Speaker 1: fourteen million dollars and declared that Happy Birthday to you
- 10:30Speaker 1: is public domain. There you go, it's finally public domain. Okay.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Now Donald's gotten quiet because he's pouting because we got
- 10:37Speaker 1: off Obi one. Do you want to We don't want to.
- 10:39Speaker 1: We don't want to do a spoiler Okay, we're gonna
- 10:42Speaker 1: talk about obi Wan finale for a second. Do a
- 10:45Speaker 1: spoiler alert thing, Daniel will insert right here? How long
- 10:48Speaker 1: to skip ahead? If you don't want any obi Wan
- 10:50Speaker 1: finale spoilers. I will say something at the beginning as well. Okay, Daniel,
- 10:54Speaker 1: did you watch this? No, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I've
- 10:59Speaker 1: not been keeping up with a one at all. Dude,
- 11:01Speaker 1: you don't I have one complaint. What's your complaint now?
- 11:05Speaker 1: Carrie Brothers told me this is because the show is
- 11:08Speaker 1: aimed at children. Oh you don't like that. I just
- 11:11Speaker 1: understand how Darth Vader can stick a lightsaber through a
- 11:14Speaker 1: person's chest and they're alive. The Force, It's that simple.
- 11:19Speaker 1: What the force? What's the point of a lightsaber? Listen? Okay,
- 11:23Speaker 1: so the Force. No, it didn't heal her. It freaking
- 11:29Speaker 1: kept her alive so that she could fulfill whatever it
- 11:33Speaker 1: was that needed to be fulfilled to protect Luke Skywalker.
- 11:38Speaker 1: That's that's all. You gotta look at it as the
- 11:41Speaker 1: force is. Obi Wan describes it in a New Hope.
- 11:46Speaker 1: It it's it surrounds us, It binds the galaxy together.
- 11:51Speaker 1: So you know what is done, the reason why things happen.
- 11:56Speaker 1: It's like if you're the most religious person in the
- 11:58Speaker 1: world and you have faith and all that, I think
- 12:00Speaker 1: God's will, God's right, you know what I mean. That's
- 12:03Speaker 1: what it is. And so all right. It didn't bother
- 12:05Speaker 1: you to me, It bothers me. And Carrie was like, Wow,
- 12:08Speaker 1: they don't want people to It's like a team. Remember
- 12:10Speaker 1: we used to watch eighteen and no one would ever die,
- 12:13Speaker 1: ak forty sevens at each other and no one would
- 12:14Speaker 1: ever get hurt. It's kind of like that for kids.
- 12:16Speaker 1: They don't want anyone to die. But it bothers me
- 12:18Speaker 1: a little bit that, Like, he's really I mean, I
- 12:21Speaker 1: know he has to because the guy obviously lives, but
- 12:23Speaker 1: he's like leaving Darth Vader alive, Like, come on, dude,
- 12:26Speaker 1: finish him off. I know you would say he can.
- 12:28Speaker 1: He loves him, he loves Anakin, and motherfucker deserves and
- 12:32Speaker 1: like a freaking emmy, I'm telling you right now, and
- 12:37Speaker 1: you Muan's incredible you and is you and is such
- 12:40Speaker 1: a good actor that um did you cry? Did you cry?
- 12:45Speaker 1: I knew when you'd be crying. I didn't cry. I'm
- 12:48Speaker 1: not attached to it, but I'm like, I bet you
- 12:49Speaker 1: Donald's cry right now. I'm he's such a good actor.
- 12:55Speaker 1: He's he really is one of the best actors working today.
- 12:58Speaker 1: I think it made me, made me, really made me.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Him and John Lithgow this week there's a new show
- 13:05Speaker 1: called Old Man. I highly recommend. But John Lithgow in
- 13:08Speaker 1: that in that show, and I was like, gosh, okay,
- 13:10Speaker 1: my two actor crushes this week are are John Lithgow
- 13:13Speaker 1: and you McGregor. I gotta I want to write something
- 13:15Speaker 1: with those two in mind. I watched, I watched both shows.
- 13:19Speaker 1: He's an old Man good. That shit is dope, yo,
- 13:21Speaker 1: but it's also dope because of Jeff Bridges. Now come on,
- 13:24Speaker 1: let's keep it on. Of course shit. Yeah, he's like
- 13:30Speaker 1: he's like, he's like an old Jason Bourne. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 13:33Speaker 1: yeah yeah. This old man is great without ruining anything.
- 13:36Speaker 1: It's pretty much like it's like if Jason Bourne were
- 13:39Speaker 1: a senior citizen and in hiding and then come for
- 13:42Speaker 1: him right say that. It's got another good twist that
- 13:48Speaker 1: I won't of course ruined. It's really good, really good. Anyway,
- 13:51Speaker 1: we gotta get into our show Scrubs. This was a
- 13:53Speaker 1: hilarious episode. I laughed a lot. I did laugh a lot,
- 13:57Speaker 1: and there's way too many jokes to I know, I
- 14:00Speaker 1: got by the way, I got like pages. I mean,
- 14:03Speaker 1: we will never get to everything I wrote down. You know,
- 14:04Speaker 1: it's a good episode. When I feel in a notepad
- 14:07Speaker 1: with ship that made me laugh. There's just so much stuff.
- 14:10Speaker 1: All right, we're gonna count in and then we're gonna
- 14:12Speaker 1: and then and then I have a surprise for your
- 14:14Speaker 1: birthday and also for this episode. Uh it's it's a
- 14:17Speaker 1: very special treat for you. So count a sim a
- 14:20Speaker 1: birthday boy six seven eights about show me about a
- 14:27Speaker 1: bunch of dots and nurses said stories never so yeah
- 14:37Speaker 1: around you here, yeah, around here. Welcome back everybody. By
- 14:49Speaker 1: the way, I'm back in La So I have my
- 14:50Speaker 1: sound effects. I'm so happy to where all my sound
- 14:55Speaker 1: effects are. I'm just trying to get into a day sho.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I'm just you know what, I've decided. I've decided that
- 15:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna be the fucking police Academy guy Michael Winslow
- 15:08Speaker 1: and freaking just make my own sound effects. So therefore,
- 15:12Speaker 1: Woo Tank forever, Woo Tank forever. Way I was doing,
- 15:17Speaker 1: I was peloton ing today and I heard the dirtiest
- 15:19Speaker 1: song you've ever heard. Um Cody did like an explicit No,
- 15:25Speaker 1: Cody didn't explicit Ryan. This ship was hilarious. By the way,
- 15:28Speaker 1: Peloton My only note is they need to get more
- 15:31Speaker 1: funny people like Cody because like, dude, I like, I
- 15:34Speaker 1: got a couple that I like. Okay, I know, I
- 15:36Speaker 1: get a couple I like. But I'm not testing the
- 15:38Speaker 1: other people. But this brother's name. What's the dude that
- 15:40Speaker 1: won the basketball game? The basketball what's his name? And
- 15:43Speaker 1: I forget his name every time I don't know, Dani,
- 15:46Speaker 1: will you look up? He won the NBA one, he's
- 15:52Speaker 1: very motivational, the NBA Celebrity All Star Game. He won
- 15:56Speaker 1: the MVP this year. And he's African American and he's
- 15:59Speaker 1: a pelotic instructor and he wants I can say black guy.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I'm I'm allowed. No, I'm saying to Daniel, I'm giving
- 16:05Speaker 1: him more look up things. All right? Can I play
- 16:07Speaker 1: you the song that um? Go ahead? Alex Twissong, I
- 16:11Speaker 1: guess that's his name. Yes, heleton instructor Alex Twisson named
- 16:14Speaker 1: twenty twenty two and yes, Celebrity All Star, Yes, MVP. Yes,
- 16:19Speaker 1: that brother. Uh will motivate if you want to get motivated.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Listen to him. You will get motivated if you want
- 16:26Speaker 1: to get motivated, and also laugh righte with Cody and dude.
- 16:30Speaker 1: All right, parents, if you happen to be listening with
- 16:32Speaker 1: your kids um for the next thirty seconds, you'll definitely
- 16:35Speaker 1: want to not have them hear the song. I never
- 16:37Speaker 1: heard the song before. Cody didn't relate this shit. It's
- 16:40Speaker 1: called road goat. I never heard of this. And then
- 16:45Speaker 1: it's not about a goat with a beautiful voice. Listen
- 16:52Speaker 1: to this ship. I can't believe this is a real song.
- 17:04Speaker 1: I could take it off. I can hit the wall.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I'm don't. I just had to flex. That is wow,
- 17:29Speaker 1: She's the now my favorite song. By the way, it's
- 17:32Speaker 1: a bob. I was spinning real fast to it is
- 17:36Speaker 1: that's in my new favorite song? Who is that? Was that?
- 17:38Speaker 1: Who is that? Kim Petris? Yeah, Kim Petris, everybody if
- 17:41Speaker 1: you want to She took a Brittany bop, a Britney
- 17:45Speaker 1: the Britney Spears style and created a dirty, dirty, naughty
- 17:51Speaker 1: never I couldn't believe the song. And it's funny they
- 17:53Speaker 1: working out to it and because he continues on while
- 17:56Speaker 1: you were working out, No, I don't think that's ever
- 17:59Speaker 1: happened in my my life. Does that happened? If you ever?
- 18:01Speaker 1: Even if you're listening to a song called throat Goat,
- 18:04Speaker 1: doesn't it doesn't it doesn't turn you on just a
- 18:06Speaker 1: little bit. No, well I no, not even a little bit. No.
- 18:11Speaker 1: But I laughed, not even a little bit. No, I
- 18:14Speaker 1: laughed because it wasn't about a goat on a little
- 18:17Speaker 1: What's the noise they make, by the way, It's called
- 18:19Speaker 1: a bleat? Did you know that? Man? No that I
- 18:24Speaker 1: looked it up because I was curious when I was
- 18:26Speaker 1: after I heard this song and go what do they
- 18:27Speaker 1: technically call a goats noise? It's a bleat bleat. So
- 18:31Speaker 1: it's not about it. It's not about a goats bleat. No, no, no, no, no,
- 18:36Speaker 1: She's the greatest of all time. All right, are you
- 18:39Speaker 1: ready for your birthday surprise? Yes, Daniel, is the birthday
- 18:43Speaker 1: surprise here. The birthday surprise is here. Let him in.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Let's go Happy birthday too, Happy birthday, Happy birthday. All right,
- 18:59Speaker 1: I'll be perfect. Rob, Rob mash you, everybody. You are
- 19:05Speaker 1: amazing in this episode. Dude. I wanted to have Rob
- 19:09Speaker 1: on for two reasons. A. We love having Rob on,
- 19:11Speaker 1: and I know you love Rob and we always talking
- 19:13Speaker 1: about how Rob makes us laugh. But I was gonna
- 19:15Speaker 1: have him on at the end just as a birthday surprise.
- 19:17Speaker 1: And then I watched the episode and Rob, you're the
- 19:19Speaker 1: star of the episode. So we had so amazing. Man,
- 19:23Speaker 1: you are so good on this show. And you know what,
- 19:25Speaker 1: and we we used to make fun of you. I'm
- 19:27Speaker 1: gonna go run line and all of that shit. But
- 19:30Speaker 1: for real, dude, that ship, Dude, you crush this episode.
- 19:34Speaker 1: The fantasy is the funniest fucking thing I've ever seen.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Which line that I crushed in this episode? Drumbo high
- 19:40Speaker 1: five from the todd Everything's drumbo on the todd There's
- 19:43Speaker 1: a lot of them. I don't stuff, Rob, you lost weight,
- 19:46Speaker 1: you look skinny. Thank you. No sugar, no flour, no booze. Yeah,
- 19:50Speaker 1: no booze is the key. Sit Man twenty down, twenty
- 19:55Speaker 1: to go, My dude. Okay, Brad Pitchers came out and
- 19:58Speaker 1: said that he's been sober for an for years and
- 20:00Speaker 1: you know that he's my my, my man crush. So
- 20:04Speaker 1: I'm trying to get on that no booze train. It's
- 20:07Speaker 1: very hard. Every day. I want to have a margarita.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Even now, even saying the word margarita makes me want
- 20:12Speaker 1: a margarita. Rob. This is the episode Their Story where
- 20:16Speaker 1: where the supporting characters have the voiceover do you remember
- 20:19Speaker 1: that one? Yes, and um, you have a very elaborate
- 20:23Speaker 1: fantasy where we'll get to it, but where you imagine
- 20:27Speaker 1: what it would be like raising your son and you're
- 20:30Speaker 1: bold and banana ammics and then but then to clarify,
- 20:39Speaker 1: because it's all right, So it starts off. This is
- 20:43Speaker 1: their story, by the way, written by Andy Schwartz, directed
- 20:45Speaker 1: by Richard wells Andy Schwartz, interesting enough, I believe is
- 20:49Speaker 1: the grandson of Sherman Schwartz, right, Donald, Yes, and my
- 20:53Speaker 1: who created Brady Bunch and many other shows. My children
- 20:56Speaker 1: and his children, uh went to school, go to school
- 21:01Speaker 1: together and stuff like that. And we see uh, he
- 21:05Speaker 1: and his wife, who's also on the show all the time.
- 21:09Speaker 1: She plays one of the interns. Did she play slagathor yes? Linda? Okay, yeah, okay,
- 21:14Speaker 1: there you go. Um so okay, go ahead, Donald, um
- 21:17Speaker 1: you were saying. So we start the show off, and
- 21:18Speaker 1: we find out that Todd is now in uh plastic surgery. Yes,
- 21:24Speaker 1: he's found his calling and uh you this line was
- 21:28Speaker 1: delivered very very very funny, and I didn't I didn't
- 21:33Speaker 1: write it down exactly. Okay, perfect, just when you think
- 21:36Speaker 1: you so. The supporting cast three of them have the
- 21:40Speaker 1: voiceovers for the most part, Ted the lawyer, Jordan and
- 21:45Speaker 1: Todd and um JD. I'm mostly not in the episode
- 21:49Speaker 1: and uh so we hear not only their voices but
- 21:51Speaker 1: see their fantasies. And the first thing we hear in
- 21:55Speaker 1: Todd's voiceover, because he's switched to plastic surgery. Just when
- 21:59Speaker 1: you think you can can't see another great pair of boobs,
- 22:01Speaker 1: you see an awesome dong. Yeah. Do you remember this one?
- 22:11Speaker 1: Be nine nine and a half. Yes, I love this
- 22:13Speaker 1: one nine and a half. There's some classic Yeah, I
- 22:16Speaker 1: got some classic ones. That's a good one. You had
- 22:19Speaker 1: a lot to do in this episode, and you were
- 22:20Speaker 1: very funny. Elliott is in love. That's one of the
- 22:22Speaker 1: subject matters. The nurses are thinking about striking because Kelso
- 22:28Speaker 1: is being racist and cheap. Kelso has tricked the system
- 22:35Speaker 1: and has somehow through Era. Every month Sacred Heart gets
- 22:42Speaker 1: fifty thousand hypodermic needles for fifty dollars and it's been
- 22:48Speaker 1: happening this way for a really long time. Yes, and
- 22:51Speaker 1: Lloyd delivers them and he says, happy needle Day, Lloyd,
- 22:56Speaker 1: And then we cut to Ted, who's helping him with
- 22:58Speaker 1: his shirt off, and he goes, I'm a lawyer, yes,
- 23:02Speaker 1: and then Sam, that was the other thing. Sam amazing
- 23:05Speaker 1: And Sam Lloyd is so funny in this episode too.
- 23:08Speaker 1: And Christa Miller is christ amazing in this episode. Um
- 23:12Speaker 1: so we got to say that. Um Lloyd. Uh he
- 23:17Speaker 1: Kelsel questions whether Lloyd has taken some needles off the
- 23:20Speaker 1: truck because there's so many, and he says, I don't
- 23:22Speaker 1: use needles anymore. And Kelso says, you finally got clean,
- 23:26Speaker 1: and he goes, nope, sign here and then and then
- 23:30Speaker 1: he hands him something and this is a straw, Lloyd.
- 23:36Speaker 1: And then in the middle of in the middle of
- 23:39Speaker 1: that conversation, Lloyd notices Elliott across the room, I mean
- 23:43Speaker 1: not across the room, notices Elliott across the parking lot
- 23:47Speaker 1: and runs up to her with a cylinder like package, right,
- 23:57Speaker 1: and she says, you know, I was going to deliver
- 23:59Speaker 1: it to you at home, but since you're here in
- 24:01Speaker 1: the parking a lot, I'll give it to you now, right.
- 24:04Speaker 1: And Eliot's like, no, that's embarrassing, Lloyd. What's in that package?
- 24:07Speaker 1: It's embarrassing for me. Please deliver it to my house, Kelso. Uh.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Lloyd and and uh, and and Ted here this and
- 24:18Speaker 1: open up a lot of questions. Yeah, they got a
- 24:20Speaker 1: lot of question they have. No, they have no scruples
- 24:22Speaker 1: about opening her mail at the hospital and they find
- 24:27Speaker 1: a stripper bowl. And not only do they find a
- 24:30Speaker 1: striper pole, they have the audacity to go to her
- 24:33Speaker 1: home and break into break into her. No, they didn't
- 24:36Speaker 1: break no keyth No. Keith is in a pink apron
- 24:40Speaker 1: and he lets them in. Yeah, and he's making cookies
- 24:43Speaker 1: and uh, just to show like how well their relationship
- 24:46Speaker 1: is going, because it's setting up for Jordan to try
- 24:48Speaker 1: and sabotage it. But but Lloyd and Ted together as
- 24:53Speaker 1: a team, installed the stripper pole. And then Lloyd decides
- 24:57Speaker 1: to try set stripper pole out by taking off his shirt.
- 25:04Speaker 1: And then and then Ted goes, oh yeah, he goes,
- 25:10Speaker 1: you're gonna love this. Eliot doesn't seem that mad about it.
- 25:14Speaker 1: She's she's well, no, she's pissed off. Keith is like, look,
- 25:20Speaker 1: this ship is a pain in the ass to put together.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Made them cookie right, But that's his backstory. I made
- 25:26Speaker 1: some cookies. This shit's up now that's all that matters.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Um So, Todd orders a jumbo latte and then you
- 25:38Speaker 1: say it doesn't you say, everything's jumbo on the top,
- 25:43Speaker 1: and then and then and then your voice over you
- 25:46Speaker 1: say it doesn't matter that he's a dude. People should
- 25:49Speaker 1: know you're willing to own people. Always ask me for
- 25:56Speaker 1: a jumbo high five now on cameo and I for
- 25:59Speaker 1: the birthday. Well, that's one of those things that works.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Drumbo high five from the top for your birthday. Everything's
- 26:06Speaker 1: drumbo on the top. Yeah, let's give you a shout
- 26:08Speaker 1: out to Rob Maschio's cameo. If you want to get
- 26:13Speaker 1: any message from him, go to cameo where you can
- 26:16Speaker 1: get messages sent. I've done it to people. I've sent
- 26:18Speaker 1: the messages, not Rob. Go ask you a question. Are
- 26:22Speaker 1: you getting in shape so that you can get into
- 26:25Speaker 1: the banana hammock again? Yeah, I'm trying to get banana
- 26:28Speaker 1: hammock ready? Is that what's going on? Yeah? Just in case, Well,
- 26:31Speaker 1: you know we're trying to do this reboot. We're gonna
- 26:33Speaker 1: be some sort of reboot. You better be in banana.
- 26:35Speaker 1: There's a reboot. I'm gonna be banana hammock ready. Yeah,
- 26:38Speaker 1: I'm not gonna let anybody down. We know what you're
- 26:40Speaker 1: gonna look like um actually, because in this fantasy we
- 26:43Speaker 1: see you. Well, I gotta look at least that good.
- 26:56Speaker 1: So what's your what's your regiment? You got? You got um?
- 26:59Speaker 1: You got no booze, no sugar, go ahead, no flower,
- 27:02Speaker 1: no flower? OK? Yeah, that's it, just meat, fish, vegetables.
- 27:06Speaker 1: What are you working out? Ye? Same? You know same.
- 27:09Speaker 1: It's all about the diet though. I always tell you
- 27:11Speaker 1: I obvious, say my memory that Rob told me when
- 27:13Speaker 1: he was in peak shape, and this was when he
- 27:15Speaker 1: was ripped and on the show and end U bananahammock
- 27:17Speaker 1: all the time that he ate a pine of ben
- 27:19Speaker 1: and Jerry's a day. And I was like, that'll be
- 27:22Speaker 1: my dream to be able to do that. But I
- 27:23Speaker 1: would get so fat. But I guess you were working
- 27:25Speaker 1: out so much that extra calories high. Yeah, you should
- 27:32Speaker 1: come play Donald. That game has gotten more civilized. No,
- 27:35Speaker 1: it's fun. You should come now. It's older game, it's
- 27:37Speaker 1: more civilized. It's nice. I'm really old now, man, I'm
- 27:41Speaker 1: ten years older than you. Guys. What are you thirty
- 27:45Speaker 1: nine today? Yesterday's whoa. I hope the words bone, organ,
- 27:51Speaker 1: and suction come into play on your birthday. That's a
- 27:56Speaker 1: reference to this episode. Yeah, that's why you're um, that's
- 28:01Speaker 1: when you're well, we'll get there trying to get the
- 28:05Speaker 1: experience of seeing Todd try and think of which high
- 28:09Speaker 1: vibe he's going to offer up. Yeah, I just did
- 28:12Speaker 1: it just now in real life too. Yeah, it was amazing.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Ted burns his hand on a tea because we hear
- 28:20Speaker 1: his voice over he goes, oh, man, I didn't get
- 28:22Speaker 1: a sleeve, and he goes, when you got this, you
- 28:24Speaker 1: can do it. Just act like it doesn't hurt. And
- 28:26Speaker 1: then he grabs the tea and he's like, but you
- 28:30Speaker 1: only see him screaming in his head and his face
- 28:32Speaker 1: is totally calm, and then he drops it. He drops
- 28:36Speaker 1: it and then puts his hand in another pat patron's
- 28:42Speaker 1: ice tea. Yeah, and then walks off and then um,
- 28:45Speaker 1: in Kelsel's office where we see the nurses threatening to strike,
- 28:49Speaker 1: Ted has a fantasy where he has hair. Now, yes, now,
- 28:54Speaker 1: I've never seen this before. I don't think. I don't
- 28:58Speaker 1: know that I remember as much as this episod obviously
- 29:00Speaker 1: wasn't in it, but I but this ship was hilarious. Yes,
- 29:04Speaker 1: very very remember this. Do you remember this fantasy? Rob?
- 29:08Speaker 1: I do, But I loved it so much. I loved
- 29:11Speaker 1: Ted's whole storyline, the way he's acting one way and
- 29:14Speaker 1: his is my favorite storyline. And I remember when he
- 29:17Speaker 1: shot this and it was one of the funny I
- 29:19Speaker 1: was on set watching it. I was so funny. I
- 29:22Speaker 1: loved it. Well. I thought, this fantasy where he kills
- 29:25Speaker 1: his mom, but it's the first time we ever see
- 29:29Speaker 1: his mom. That should be on Scrubs wiki. That's not so.
- 29:33Speaker 1: The whole setup is him fantasizing how great it would
- 29:37Speaker 1: be if he had hair. So he walks in and
- 29:40Speaker 1: at this point, uh, Ted no longer has a old
- 29:46Speaker 1: woman fetish because he has hair. He's now kissing young
- 29:50Speaker 1: hot yes, right, two beautiful women on his side. He's
- 29:55Speaker 1: got the most giant wavy likes John travolt in the seventies. Look, yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 30:01Speaker 1: John Tavault in his seventies is a perfect example of
- 30:03Speaker 1: what is here. I'm welcome back, Carter. Yeah. And he's
- 30:07Speaker 1: making out with these girls and they're walking down the
- 30:10Speaker 1: hair aisle to get to get conditioner. Yes, yeah, they're
- 30:14Speaker 1: in the market because he's got so much beautiful hair
- 30:16Speaker 1: he needs to get a conditioner. And one of the
- 30:18Speaker 1: girls says which one and conditioner? Which conditioner are you
- 30:22Speaker 1: gonna buy? And he has a hard time choosing as
- 30:26Speaker 1: the cameras zooming in although like like it's like a
- 30:30Speaker 1: hitchcock thing. It's like pushing in on all the different conditioners.
- 30:33Speaker 1: As he starts to panic, right, he goes to and
- 30:38Speaker 1: he grabs and he grabs the aisle what is it
- 30:42Speaker 1: called the rack? Yeah, he grabs the rack and he
- 30:44Speaker 1: starts shaking it and it starts to lean the other way,
- 30:48Speaker 1: and just as it's about to fall, he notices that
- 30:51Speaker 1: his mom is on the other side, on the other
- 30:54Speaker 1: in the other aisle. Yeah, on the other side of
- 30:56Speaker 1: the other aisle. He goes mom and think falls on her.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Are you kind of crush? It kills kills her. And
- 31:02Speaker 1: then he screams to the camera like to the sky
- 31:05Speaker 1: like Josh redemption shot, and he's like why did I
- 31:09Speaker 1: have to have hair? Why? And then when they come back,
- 31:14Speaker 1: like Jay, it's so if you're not familiar with Scrubs
- 31:19Speaker 1: and you're just tuning into the podcast, why would he
- 31:21Speaker 1: start now with this episode. I don't know, do you
- 31:24Speaker 1: think there's anyone? I guess they never watched the show.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Just listen to it the way the way it works
- 31:30Speaker 1: with uh Instagram. When I say link in bio, usually
- 31:34Speaker 1: whatever episode that I'm linked to is what it links
- 31:39Speaker 1: to for me. So I don't know if it's like
- 31:40Speaker 1: that for other people. I'm just wondering as people. I mean,
- 31:43Speaker 1: I'm sure there's after that's because so many people happen
- 31:46Speaker 1: to be listening. I'm sure there's some people who've never
- 31:48Speaker 1: seen scrubs who just listen, but that would be that
- 31:50Speaker 1: must be a weird experience for them. That would be weird.
- 31:55Speaker 1: They're like, I just want to hear him talk if
- 31:56Speaker 1: you want to. Rob played a guy with a giant
- 32:00Speaker 1: dong who wore up banana hammocks a lot. Then we
- 32:04Speaker 1: see the todd again. Rob. This is when you um
- 32:06Speaker 1: you're complaining that you didn't get set up with any
- 32:09Speaker 1: innuendo opportunities. Yeah, doctor, you said you did your best
- 32:14Speaker 1: with carpal tunnel syndrome, but I'm not sure he understood
- 32:17Speaker 1: that it was a metaphor for vagina. I was earnestly
- 32:27Speaker 1: explaining that to Turk. Yeah, super earnest felt like you
- 32:33Speaker 1: almost felt like you'd let your friend. You'd let your
- 32:35Speaker 1: friend down, that you didn't have any innuendos in that
- 32:37Speaker 1: in that meeting. No setups, no setups. He's not he's
- 32:42Speaker 1: not listening, he's not present ever, Todd. He's just always
- 32:46Speaker 1: thinking about a sexually innuendo joke or yeah in urendo,
- 32:52Speaker 1: or a way to get the five route right? Which
- 32:55Speaker 1: or which which one which which word will lead to
- 32:58Speaker 1: a high five? Ye? Anyway, I went to I went
- 33:02Speaker 1: to dinner with a friend in New York who kind
- 33:05Speaker 1: of like Todd was back in the day, was like
- 33:06Speaker 1: a constant high five, like while you're talking. Do you
- 33:10Speaker 1: know anyone like this, Like while you're talking and they
- 33:11Speaker 1: make a point and you both laugh and then high
- 33:13Speaker 1: fives you. Yeah. Yes. Now post COVID, he changed the
- 33:17Speaker 1: fist bumps. I must have fist pumped this dude thirty
- 33:20Speaker 1: times over dinner. I'm like, we really need to be done.
- 33:22Speaker 1: We fist bumped enough. Did you tell him that? No?
- 33:26Speaker 1: But in my head, in my JD soundtrack, I was like,
- 33:28Speaker 1: I really feel like we've fist bumped enough. Don't get
- 33:30Speaker 1: me wrong, I don't want to lead him hanging. Let's
- 33:34Speaker 1: take a break. We'll be right back with more. Donald's
- 33:37Speaker 1: Birthday Special with guest star Rob Maschio and we're I
- 33:55Speaker 1: know what you're trying to get into one day shoe.
- 34:01Speaker 1: You know what I'd like to do. I'd like to
- 34:03Speaker 1: go get like some vegetables and some fish or some
- 34:06Speaker 1: meat and get on that Rob Maschio diet because you
- 34:11Speaker 1: look dynamite. Damn, man, you gotta do it working, dude,
- 34:15Speaker 1: you gotta do it. You could do it easily. You
- 34:17Speaker 1: can do it, bro, I know I can. I've been
- 34:20Speaker 1: on that peloton too. Man, I've been back on that thing.
- 34:22Speaker 1: I put on a sweat you know those things that
- 34:25Speaker 1: makes you sweat, those suits that like made out of rubber. Yeah, no,
- 34:29Speaker 1: but you use your minding me. Remember when we talked
- 34:30Speaker 1: about the electric suit that shocks your muscles. Yeah, I
- 34:34Speaker 1: gotta get that. That's not a twenty five k No,
- 34:37Speaker 1: it's not that sh it's expensive. Is it really that
- 34:40Speaker 1: much money? Oh? Sorry, we can do that. Oh what
- 34:45Speaker 1: do you do with it now? Out? Oh he's got
- 34:49Speaker 1: to take a break to get rid of that. You
- 34:51Speaker 1: can't do the whole show. I'm sorry, audience, I'm sorry
- 34:54Speaker 1: you had to hear that right there. I know, Daniel,
- 34:57Speaker 1: don't cut it out though. I want the audience to
- 34:59Speaker 1: experience it. It was like we did that, just lost
- 35:01Speaker 1: three out, but it was just out. I was sitting there.
- 35:05Speaker 1: I want to feel it. I want them to feel
- 35:07Speaker 1: it. It It was sitting there. You haven't have ship, you
- 35:11Speaker 1: should theividual It was like it was like it was
- 35:13Speaker 1: like he had a dip in his lip. Oh my gosh,
- 35:21Speaker 1: how's your how's your weed intake? It's less good? Uh,
- 35:26Speaker 1: it's it's way less actually, and I appreciate I appreciate
- 35:30Speaker 1: it way more now. That was what was great about
- 35:33Speaker 1: doing the show. Also, it was like a reward at
- 35:35Speaker 1: the end of the day instead of instead of, you know,
- 35:40Speaker 1: a reward when I woke up the other day. It
- 35:43Speaker 1: was supposed to a reward when I woke up, yeah,
- 35:45Speaker 1: or when I woke up and when I had maybe
- 35:49Speaker 1: you can stay on that ship? Yeah, man, I like
- 35:52Speaker 1: I like the I like the feeling of being uh present,
- 35:59Speaker 1: you know. The drinking thing I've I've Yeah, you don't
- 36:02Speaker 1: really drink at all anymore. No, not anymore. Men. I
- 36:04Speaker 1: was in New York where it's really hard not to
- 36:06Speaker 1: drink um. But I'm going to take a break. Brad
- 36:09Speaker 1: Pitt inspired me. Yeah, and also Rob saying it's like
- 36:12Speaker 1: I'm trying to get thin and just pounding unnecessary sugar
- 36:15Speaker 1: is pretty stupid. That's also depressant. By the way, the
- 36:19Speaker 1: easiest any depressant in the world is don't pound a depressant. Well, yeah,
- 36:24Speaker 1: it's also look at it also look at it as
- 36:27Speaker 1: poisoned too, because that's literally what alcohol is. It's literally poison. Yeah,
- 36:34Speaker 1: you guys would like this. I got a guy in
- 36:35Speaker 1: my basketball game and he's constantly texting me like nutritional advice.
- 36:38Speaker 1: He's like, Rob, you gotta put MCT oil in your
- 36:41Speaker 1: coffee every morning instead of sugar. Rob, you gotta do
- 36:45Speaker 1: vitam Indeed, three times you got a microdose on mushrooms
- 36:48Speaker 1: and you're so lucid. It's the opposite of like being drunk.
- 36:52Speaker 1: It's kind of good. You guys microdos mushrooms. Well, I'm
- 36:57Speaker 1: reading a very interesting book about mushrooms and the restorative
- 37:01Speaker 1: effects when it deals with depression, mental illness, addiction, and
- 37:06Speaker 1: they're different. You know, you can take legal and illegal
- 37:09Speaker 1: types of mushrooms and it's very interesting. I highly recommend.
- 37:12Speaker 1: My my wife was talking to about this recently about
- 37:16Speaker 1: quite a few people actually are microducing much and you
- 37:19Speaker 1: do it with your doctor. Apparently it's not. It's not.
- 37:23Speaker 1: It's not um something that you just do on your own. Yes,
- 37:27Speaker 1: and there's a Netflix special coming out in two weeks
- 37:30Speaker 1: on this whole topic. Okay by this author's name is
- 37:33Speaker 1: Michael Poland Netflix special. I don't want to watch it.
- 37:38Speaker 1: It's really interesting. I just ran into an old friend
- 37:41Speaker 1: who said, I've been who's been doing this, and she said,
- 37:45Speaker 1: it's it's intense, but it's life changing and she's been
- 37:48Speaker 1: doing it like under the you know you don't don't.
- 37:51Speaker 1: We're not recommending anybody to do this on their own.
- 37:53Speaker 1: I mean, if you choose to do that, that's your thing.
- 37:55Speaker 1: But we're what we're talking about is as as a
- 37:58Speaker 1: supervised thing with a physician or Yeah, we're not saying
- 38:03Speaker 1: this is We're not saying this is for you. We're
- 38:05Speaker 1: just giving you examples. We're not recommending it. We're just
- 38:08Speaker 1: talking about. Yeah, we're talking about it's a fake surgeon.
- 38:14Speaker 1: We're not doctors were not fake doctors played. I'll just
- 38:19Speaker 1: get back to the show. Um. Bill Lawrence has a cameo.
- 38:22Speaker 1: You guys, where you did miss the Bill? Lawrence cameo,
- 38:26Speaker 1: I missed the Bill. I must have been sipping my coffee.
- 38:28Speaker 1: What it's When Jordan is um messing with Keith and
- 38:33Speaker 1: Elliott for the first time in the coffee Bucks, she
- 38:37Speaker 1: says something super mean. I forgot what it is, and
- 38:40Speaker 1: then she goes, well, my parents were mean to me.
- 38:43Speaker 1: She says something shocking, I hope you get cancer or
- 38:45Speaker 1: something like. Everybody gasps, and if you look at that moment,
- 38:49Speaker 1: I think it was like seven or eight minutes in um.
- 38:52Speaker 1: If you look at that moment, the group of people
- 38:54Speaker 1: behind her the gasp, you see Bill with his jaw dropped,
- 38:57Speaker 1: and then and then she goes and then she goes,
- 39:00Speaker 1: my parents were mean to me. To try and justify it,
- 39:02Speaker 1: and you hear Bill go, oh, her parents were mean. Door.
- 39:12Speaker 1: I remember the part I just missed, Bill, and there
- 39:14Speaker 1: aren't many. Uh, well, Bill, there aren't many. Bill Lawrence
- 39:17Speaker 1: cameos in in the show. Outside of him playing the reverend.
- 39:21Speaker 1: H Yeah, so he was at the Coffee Bucks and
- 39:24Speaker 1: then he made all the way to the Bahamas. In
- 39:28Speaker 1: the world of Scrubs, that character is a janitor at
- 39:31Speaker 1: the hospital and married the janitor. But yeah, he Bill
- 39:37Speaker 1: broke his own rules because he's not only a janitor
- 39:41Speaker 1: at the hospital but he's also a reverend in the bombs.
- 39:46Speaker 1: He maybe maybe they're twins. They're twins. That's it. That's
- 39:49Speaker 1: a good ask Bill question. Well, he's too busy for
- 39:52Speaker 1: usk Bill these days. The man is man is in anddeeded. Okay,
- 39:56Speaker 1: I'm going to the other night. He came out and
- 39:59Speaker 1: played basketball the other night with his son Will. It
- 40:01Speaker 1: will Will dominating. You get Will is starting to dominate. Yeah,
- 40:05Speaker 1: he's well, y'all, y'alla, all old motherfuckers to him. It's
- 40:12Speaker 1: like running around with freaking little kids. To Will, he's
- 40:15Speaker 1: literally he's literally like twenty years old. I love Will.
- 40:18Speaker 1: He dyed his hair pink, and it reminded me of
- 40:21Speaker 1: when Bill died his hair white when he was Yeah. Yeah,
- 40:26Speaker 1: made him look it makes him look even more like
- 40:29Speaker 1: his Will better than Bill. Yeah, easily. You didn't hear
- 40:33Speaker 1: it from me and Bill. Bill knows it too. He
- 40:37Speaker 1: knows it. His son, His son is a supreme athlete.
- 40:40Speaker 1: He's young, he's strong. I know. I just think it's
- 40:43Speaker 1: funny because Bill so competitive that his son being better
- 40:46Speaker 1: than him must just must hurt so bad because he's
- 40:48Speaker 1: so fucking competitive. But it's all right, man, it's a
- 40:52Speaker 1: day Monday, you'll see your son Rocco. Rocco is on
- 40:56Speaker 1: his way to doing that. And I look forward to
- 40:57Speaker 1: the day where it's like, holy shit, I can't beat
- 41:00Speaker 1: him no matter what I do. I will be very
- 41:04Speaker 1: very proud and very very happy. Uh yeah, and then
- 41:08Speaker 1: after that I will start cheating in ways that. More
- 41:14Speaker 1: than that, Jordan gives us the opportunity to see the
- 41:17Speaker 1: very rare meeting of the white beards, Beard Fisse and
- 41:20Speaker 1: Colonel Doctor talking for the very first time together. They
- 41:23Speaker 1: were very close face to face too. They're having any
- 41:26Speaker 1: intense they're having a very intense conversation about what it's
- 41:28Speaker 1: like to have a white beard. Yeah, scrubs Wicky didn't
- 41:34Speaker 1: didn't mention that's the first meeting of Colonel Doctor and
- 41:36Speaker 1: doctor Beard Fisse and the coffee bucks. I wonder what
- 41:39Speaker 1: they were talking about. They're beards. So we also learned
- 41:45Speaker 1: that Jordan um, she sliced open Cox his arm while
- 41:50Speaker 1: he was sleeping, and his face later on, later on
- 41:53Speaker 1: his face, later on his face. It's crazy. Yes, she
- 41:57Speaker 1: cuts him, yes, when she's had three martinis. Yes, and
- 42:01Speaker 1: he doesn't know. But she cuts she cuts them thin though,
- 42:05Speaker 1: like thin, So that it doesn't. He's taken a sleeping
- 42:08Speaker 1: fill and he doesn't know. He doesn't realize, he doesn't
- 42:11Speaker 1: realize she doesn't covered him deep enough that he can
- 42:14Speaker 1: that it'll wake him. But so twisted and weird, like
- 42:18Speaker 1: that's the game she's playing. If I could just get
- 42:20Speaker 1: it in. Yeah, deep enough to bleed, but not deep
- 42:25Speaker 1: enough to wake him. Yeah. The book the book or
- 42:29Speaker 1: what is it? Sorry? How to Change Your Mind by
- 42:31Speaker 1: Michael Poland? Is that what you said? Rob? Yeah? And
- 42:35Speaker 1: and and Netflix documentary is coming soon for those we
- 42:38Speaker 1: interested about micro dosing mushrooms in a supervised way that
- 42:43Speaker 1: we aren't endorsing. That we are not endorsing. So the
- 42:48Speaker 1: nurses have decided instead of a strike, they're going to
- 42:49Speaker 1: do a slowdown, which means they're all moving in slow
- 42:52Speaker 1: motion because they care for the patients so much they
- 42:54Speaker 1: don't want any harm to come to the patients. Kelsel
- 42:56Speaker 1: thinks he's got them in a corner because he knows
- 43:00Speaker 1: that they'll do anything for their patients. Um, so they're
- 43:03Speaker 1: going to do a slowdown when it comes to all
- 43:05Speaker 1: the other tasks unrelated to their patients, Yes, like counting
- 43:09Speaker 1: syringes all fifty thousand of them, yes, and the janitor
- 43:14Speaker 1: announces he's the only white guy at his mosque. But
- 43:18Speaker 1: scrubs Wiki points out that the janitor mentions in a
- 43:23Speaker 1: previous episode that he converted to Norse paganism, so either
- 43:29Speaker 1: one or both were lies. But no, he's either that
- 43:33Speaker 1: or he's just trying our religions right now. Right, But
- 43:36Speaker 1: we do you know, we know he's we know he's
- 43:38Speaker 1: a compulsive liar, so he's probably lying on both accounts.
- 43:42Speaker 1: He might still be a Norse pagan. We don't know.
- 43:45Speaker 1: How's the real estate market going, rob Things have changed,
- 43:48Speaker 1: things of things have done a big Things are all
- 43:50Speaker 1: over the place. They were they were crazy and now
- 43:52Speaker 1: they've cooled off. Uh, it depends on the price points.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Things are still crazy for homes and they're a little
- 43:59Speaker 1: cooler for comm those because interest rates went up. So
- 44:02Speaker 1: it's all over the place. Oh really yeah, homes above
- 44:05Speaker 1: a certain amount are still Any single family any single
- 44:09Speaker 1: family home is always desirable and they get multiple offers.
- 44:12Speaker 1: But condos because their first time buyers who need a loan,
- 44:16Speaker 1: how are having a harder time because interest rates went
- 44:20Speaker 1: upside costs more. But a lot of people it's like
- 44:22Speaker 1: all or nothing. You either have all cash, you know,
- 44:25Speaker 1: or in LA, like you can't buy a house in
- 44:27Speaker 1: LA unless you have all cash. Yeah, but then can't
- 44:29Speaker 1: you take a mortgage out once you've done it, once
- 44:31Speaker 1: you've gotten it? Yeah? Yeah, everybody's full of shit with
- 44:34Speaker 1: that all cash shit. Man. Nobody has that all cash shit.
- 44:37Speaker 1: I know, it's crazy. That's that bullshit. Man. Hold on, now,
- 44:42Speaker 1: that's some bullshit, man, And it's bullshit because there are
- 44:44Speaker 1: certain people that really do want the homes, and you've
- 44:47Speaker 1: run in all these motherfuckers through circles and ship with
- 44:50Speaker 1: your bullshit lies talking about I got the cash and
- 44:52Speaker 1: you really don't. And that's some bullshit to all of
- 44:55Speaker 1: the people who are really trying to buy homes right now. Man,
- 44:58Speaker 1: that's it makes me very about house slippers who are
- 45:00Speaker 1: fucking with you. Well, there are people that are trying
- 45:03Speaker 1: to buy these houses and they'll say I have all cash,
- 45:06Speaker 1: and then when it gets down to paying all cash,
- 45:08Speaker 1: you're like, I was bullshitting, I really don't have all
- 45:12Speaker 1: You didn't get the house, and you don't get the
- 45:14Speaker 1: and you don't get the house. But then they get
- 45:16Speaker 1: the opportunity still to pay for the house and bull well,
- 45:19Speaker 1: what they do is they say, here's an all cash offer,
- 45:21Speaker 1: and then they go get a mortgage and then they
- 45:23Speaker 1: tell you on day twenty eight, by the way, we
- 45:25Speaker 1: got a mortgage instead. But by that point the cells
- 45:28Speaker 1: like whatever, just transfer the money over and and they lie.
- 45:32Speaker 1: That's how they do. Oh, I didn't know that that's
- 45:34Speaker 1: how they is this all over the country, rob It.
- 45:38Speaker 1: Major cities are just La New York in particular, that
- 45:40Speaker 1: are on fire like this. They're like pockets of on
- 45:43Speaker 1: fire all over the country. But you know who wants
- 45:47Speaker 1: to live in Pittsburgh? You know what I mean? Sorry,
- 45:50Speaker 1: I don't agree with rob On that people who were
- 45:52Speaker 1: listening for Pittsburgh. I'd rather there are pockets of hotness,
- 45:58Speaker 1: is why. I would just like the record reflect that
- 46:00Speaker 1: I love Pittsburgh. Yeah. New York. There was this viral
- 46:04Speaker 1: video I saw on Instagram of of New York a
- 46:08Speaker 1: Manhattan rental open house, and the line went down the
- 46:13Speaker 1: block for the rental for young young people that were
- 46:17Speaker 1: looking at this like one bedroom Manhattan rental. Yeah that's bullshit,
- 46:25Speaker 1: this one guy. That's what it is. The suburbs aren't
- 46:28Speaker 1: growing big enough, man. And the other thing is we
- 46:31Speaker 1: all folks don't want to move out of the city anymore.
- 46:34Speaker 1: You know what I mean? The city is still it
- 46:36Speaker 1: is still our lifestyle, you know what I mean? Back
- 46:38Speaker 1: because it's such a giant city. It's so spread out,
- 46:41Speaker 1: right rom Yeah, New York or LA. I'm speaking specifically
- 46:45Speaker 1: about La. It's such a spread out giant like you know,
- 46:49Speaker 1: you're you know, I mean, I guess Santa Monica is
- 46:52Speaker 1: technically a different city, isn't it. It's outside of a
- 46:54Speaker 1: different city, different outside of LA County. It's part of
- 46:57Speaker 1: LA County, but it's its own city. Okay, Sorry, I'm
- 47:00Speaker 1: boring a listeners who are not looking for a home
- 47:02Speaker 1: in the Los Angeles area. All right, all right, and
- 47:05Speaker 1: it sucks. Oh yeah, so Rob helped Donald. All right,
- 47:08Speaker 1: Well that that's my technique. So you're all cash and
- 47:10Speaker 1: then get a loan. That's an easier way of guests.
- 47:13Speaker 1: So your your advice as a real estate agent is
- 47:15Speaker 1: to lie. Well, you know they're gonna see it coming
- 47:20Speaker 1: now because we talked about it on the show. Maybe
- 47:22Speaker 1: you're you're, you're, your potential home seller might not listen
- 47:26Speaker 1: to the podcast Donald, So there you go. Chances are
- 47:29Speaker 1: I doubt that man yeah, because since everyone listens back
- 47:32Speaker 1: to the show Scrubs. Sorry for the digression, but some
- 47:35Speaker 1: of you looking for a home may have it found
- 47:36Speaker 1: that interesting, right Rob? Yeah? Um, okay, so this is
- 47:41Speaker 1: now where at Todd's fantasy, Todd is asked to imagine, oh,
- 47:44Speaker 1: because Donald's upset that Todd is doing a breast augmentation
- 47:48Speaker 1: on a sixteen year old girl whose mother wants it.
- 47:52Speaker 1: She gifted the child, and she gifted the child for
- 47:54Speaker 1: her sweet sixteen And Turk says, as a father, I
- 47:58Speaker 1: feel that's completely inappropriate. And and and he says, how
- 48:02Speaker 1: would you eat to the Todd, how would you feel
- 48:04Speaker 1: if you know I have a daughter? He says, how
- 48:06Speaker 1: would you feel if you had a child in this position?
- 48:10Speaker 1: And then we cut to an older, an older Todd
- 48:14Speaker 1: reading the paper in his banana hammock with his with
- 48:17Speaker 1: his reading glasses on, much like it's an older version
- 48:20Speaker 1: of the banana hammock too. Oh yeah, the banana hammocks
- 48:23Speaker 1: like gray. The fire has turned to smoke, and a
- 48:33Speaker 1: teenage boy comes in and a banana hammock. This is
- 48:37Speaker 1: so it was so I don't know if it's inappropriate
- 48:40Speaker 1: or just weird, but probably both and um and the
- 48:44Speaker 1: and the kid says, Dad, I don't want to wear
- 48:46Speaker 1: my banana hammock anymore and rubs his why. And he
- 48:52Speaker 1: reaches down, and the kid off camera pulls out a sock.
- 48:55Speaker 1: He goes, Dad stuff and and Rob reaches down. I
- 49:00Speaker 1: think camera rules. Todd reaches the Todd reaches down and
- 49:03Speaker 1: pulls out a giant gray like you know those sacks
- 49:07Speaker 1: that you wear when it's when it's real, real cold
- 49:12Speaker 1: and you don't want your feet to freeze. He goes
- 49:15Speaker 1: totally totally earnestly son, I stuff too, And then we
- 49:22Speaker 1: cut back to reality. By the way, then they hug,
- 49:24Speaker 1: which is so cringey and weird, and then and then
- 49:27Speaker 1: the scrub sad music plays, and then we cut back
- 49:33Speaker 1: to reality and Rob breaks the fourth wall and looks
- 49:36Speaker 1: directly into the camera and goes, I don't stuff, I don't.
- 49:41Speaker 1: That makes it very clear. But then to buy it back,
- 49:44Speaker 1: because of the bid to explain the breaking of the
- 49:47Speaker 1: fourth wall, they made it look like he was talking
- 49:50Speaker 1: to Snoop Dogg. Resident said maybe you should. Yeah, that
- 49:54Speaker 1: was Bill's thing, not to break the fourth wall, So
- 49:56Speaker 1: we threw in Snoop Dogg with that response yeah. I
- 49:58Speaker 1: think he might be one of the own the non
- 50:01Speaker 1: JD characters to ever break the fourth wall. I don't know.
- 50:05Speaker 1: They covered it with Snood, but yeah, but you still
- 50:08Speaker 1: look down the barrel at the audience. That's true. It's
- 50:11Speaker 1: like Eddie Murphy and uh in Beverly Hills Cop. Yeah no,
- 50:17Speaker 1: he does. Yeah, well, he does it in Beverly Hills Cop.
- 50:19Speaker 1: And he does in trading places where oh, I'm thinking
- 50:22Speaker 1: of treating Bacon let us in Tomato sandwich and he
- 50:25Speaker 1: looks at the camera. It's pretty amazing they got away
- 50:28Speaker 1: with that in that movie because that movie has played
- 50:30Speaker 1: so realistic for the most part. I mean, it's obviously
- 50:34Speaker 1: leans in come on, now, this dude's on the street
- 50:37Speaker 1: acting like he's blind. I know, but I'm saying, obviously
- 50:42Speaker 1: it's heightened for comedy, but it's still played pretty real.
- 50:45Speaker 1: And he looks directly at the audience like come on, buddy. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 50:51Speaker 1: I mean, he's let's let's keep it one hundred. He's
- 50:54Speaker 1: the master man when it came to that. When we
- 50:57Speaker 1: were kids, man, that dude was the king of box office.
- 51:01Speaker 1: Remember when Paramount gave out deals. I came to remember
- 51:04Speaker 1: when I got to Hollywood and Paramount had the dopest
- 51:08Speaker 1: freaking It had like all of the dope, like Tom Cruise,
- 51:14Speaker 1: who I still think is with Paramount, Harrison Ford, Uh,
- 51:19Speaker 1: Eddie Murphy. Do you remember when all of their movies
- 51:21Speaker 1: were just Paramount movies. I don't remember that in particular, no,
- 51:25Speaker 1: but um, when I first came out here, Clueless was
- 51:28Speaker 1: a Paramount movie, right, And when I first got here,
- 51:31Speaker 1: there was a picture on the lot and it was
- 51:33Speaker 1: like the lineup of all of the stars that they had,
- 51:37Speaker 1: uh for the Paramount that had Paramount deals. And I
- 51:40Speaker 1: just remember being like so impressed, you know, obviously because
- 51:44Speaker 1: I love actors and I love you know, but just
- 51:46Speaker 1: like the list of a list movie stars that they had.
- 51:50Speaker 1: It was like Harrison all in one picture, Harrison Ford,
- 51:53Speaker 1: Tom Cruise, Eddie Murphy. There was so many more. Alicia
- 51:58Speaker 1: Silverstone might have been in that picture. We're gonna take
- 52:00Speaker 1: a break and we'll be right back with more. Rob
- 52:02Speaker 1: Maschio for the Donald's phase on Birthdays, Traviganza. You know,
- 52:15Speaker 1: I do all these sound effects myself, right, but I
- 52:18Speaker 1: got my own sound effects now, Rob, Yeah, let's hear
- 52:21Speaker 1: one of your he's trying to be like the Michael
- 52:23Speaker 1: what's his name Winslow? No, Donald, pretend this is you
- 52:28Speaker 1: doing it? Ready, Donald's gonna do a sound effect? Zacha
- 52:31Speaker 1: love Zach's so good, dude, I got a good sound effect.
- 52:37Speaker 1: How about this? Eat these balls, Zach, Eat these bowls,
- 52:41Speaker 1: these bowls, Zach. Get me that one. Eat these balls, Zach.
- 52:44Speaker 1: That's what I'm talking about. Awesome, Tank forever, Woo tank forever. Sorry,
- 52:51Speaker 1: I haven't been hear my sound effects in a long time.
- 52:53Speaker 1: I'm happy to have them. Your sound effects machine, get
- 52:56Speaker 1: that one. Get that one. Ye, get that one. Let's
- 52:58Speaker 1: get a cleaner sounds. Fuck your sound effects machine. Yeah, Dan,
- 53:02Speaker 1: I need that one too, gotcha, Rob? Do you know
- 53:05Speaker 1: this song? It's really popular. All the kids are playing
- 53:08Speaker 1: it um these days. One more time. Let's go, Ye
- 53:24Speaker 1: hit the wall. She just sucked her X no gag reflex.
- 53:34Speaker 1: It's a song, Rob, But that was on my workout
- 53:36Speaker 1: playlist called a lot. I've never heard of that one, Rob. Yeah,
- 53:44Speaker 1: when you hear that song, does it make you a
- 53:46Speaker 1: little bit? Let me hear about Rob's potential erection from
- 53:50Speaker 1: hearing the throat. I think I would work out really
- 53:53Speaker 1: good to that song. That's not part played another song
- 53:58Speaker 1: that was It's all the whole. The whole theme of
- 54:00Speaker 1: the ride was dirty songs, and one was m Kelly
- 54:03Speaker 1: Rowland with Kelly Rowland has a dirt dirty Roland with
- 54:08Speaker 1: um with a rapper with with with We looked that up, Dan.
- 54:13Speaker 1: It was whatever Kelly Window to the wall, gotta be
- 54:16Speaker 1: on that ship down my balls crawl all these skeet
- 54:23Speaker 1: skeet skeet. Kelly Rowland had a song with a rapper,
- 54:27Speaker 1: famous rapper, Tea Paint Nelly. No, No matter what I do,
- 54:33Speaker 1: all I think about is, what's that there's dilemma with
- 54:41Speaker 1: tea paint or why or or or she couldn't remember?
- 54:45Speaker 1: It was pain got the tea, pain got thee what
- 54:50Speaker 1: she made us drinks to drink? We drunk them man
- 54:54Speaker 1: got drunk um. I can't think it had really dirty
- 55:00Speaker 1: lyrics though, and it was funny. I didn't know that
- 55:03Speaker 1: Kelly Rowland did explicit songs. Kelly Rowland, Kelly Rowland, I
- 55:08Speaker 1: keep saying it wrong. Sorry anyway, I didn't find it.
- 55:11Speaker 1: If anyone can find it. She's grown as woman though,
- 55:14Speaker 1: I know, but I'm just telling you it. The lyrics
- 55:17Speaker 1: were naughty, was it motivation with Lowyn, Yes, little Wayne motivation. Yes,
- 55:23Speaker 1: he let me be your motivation, yes, Daniel, can you
- 55:26Speaker 1: can you pull up the lyrics? And uh, there's something
- 55:29Speaker 1: about um another one? Another one was, um, what's that band?
- 55:34Speaker 1: What's that boy band? Like oh Town or something? Yeah?
- 55:36Speaker 1: Liquid dreams? Liquid that was on there too, Yeah, liquid
- 55:42Speaker 1: dreams they're talking about. So yeah, but it's like the
- 55:46Speaker 1: most ridiculous song. I gotta play thirty seconds of it.
- 55:48Speaker 1: Hold on, you're wondering about the lyrics for motivation? Yes,
- 55:50Speaker 1: can you sink? Can you or at least just recite them?
- 55:54Speaker 1: I'm a fold of second So woe lover. Don't you dare?
- 55:59Speaker 1: Slow down, go longer, you can last more rounds, push harder.
- 56:03Speaker 1: You're almost there now, so go lover, make mama proud.
- 56:09Speaker 1: You guys gotta listen to this song. This is liquid
- 56:11Speaker 1: dream by Otown Queen d Kiss hat girl. You know
- 56:40Speaker 1: it's about constructing a well Frankenstein woman from all the
- 56:43Speaker 1: all thea that was about? Or is it about freaking
- 56:46Speaker 1: having wet dreams? No, it is, but their their their
- 56:49Speaker 1: wet dream occurs after It's like it's like the movie,
- 56:52Speaker 1: um we Love of what's it called weird science. Yes,
- 56:56Speaker 1: it's like weird science, and they create they describe this
- 57:00Speaker 1: woman who's got like this from Beyonce and this from
- 57:03Speaker 1: someone's sadness, hot girl, and then they have a liquid
- 57:08Speaker 1: dream to her. Yeah, dude, that boy Trevor could play
- 57:11Speaker 1: ball though, I know that I used to play ball
- 57:14Speaker 1: with him. What are you talking about? From otown? From Otown,
- 57:17Speaker 1: that boy Trevor could play ball? Shout out Trevor for real,
- 57:20Speaker 1: for real, Trevor from you remember Trevor? Rob? I think,
- 57:26Speaker 1: should I do Trevor's voice? Yeah? I remember? Donald was
- 57:31Speaker 1: so fun to play with you, me and Rob playing
- 57:34Speaker 1: in the NBA Entertainment League. Donald. It was Donald fun.
- 57:42Speaker 1: It was very fun, Trevor. Hey, Trevor, you know my
- 57:45Speaker 1: favorite part? What Donald? When I would pass the ball
- 57:48Speaker 1: to you. Yeah, I love it when you passed the
- 57:51Speaker 1: ball to me Donald, and then you would do that move.
- 57:53Speaker 1: What was that little dream? That move you did? Are
- 57:56Speaker 1: you the way? There's supposedly a really good basketball with
- 58:03Speaker 1: Adam Sandler on Netflix. Did you watch it? I have
- 58:07Speaker 1: not watched it, but I heard it's really good. I
- 58:09Speaker 1: heard it's really good, and it's about your favorite thing basketball.
- 58:11Speaker 1: It's not my favorite thing, well, one of your favorite things,
- 58:14Speaker 1: amongst stop motion animation into Star Wars. We all know
- 58:19Speaker 1: your favorite things. These are a few of Donald's favorite
- 58:23Speaker 1: things stout motion animation, and of course there's Star Wars.
- 58:28Speaker 1: Then there is working out with boxing gloves on my hands.
- 58:33Speaker 1: If you fuck with me, I'll punch you in your mouth.
- 58:36Speaker 1: Also there's Marvel and Masterbation. So the Todd has an
- 58:45Speaker 1: internal five. I don't know if you remember that one, Rob, Yeah,
- 58:49Speaker 1: one of my lesser known five. Yeah. Oh could you
- 58:51Speaker 1: do it with your head? Yeah, you do it inside
- 58:53Speaker 1: your head because we learned that the surgeon who's uh
- 58:58Speaker 1: oh yeah, it doesn't want Donald interfering. Yeah, and has
- 59:02Speaker 1: a thing with bees. Yeah. That was a really random thing, random,
- 59:07Speaker 1: random storyline. Funny though we learned we learned your last name.
- 59:12Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, I didn't know it either at first.
- 59:17Speaker 1: Oh that's me. Yeah yeah, And it's probably after a
- 59:21Speaker 1: writer we had named Todd Todd Todd Bill and Bill
- 59:26Speaker 1: knows the answers. I think there was a guy named
- 59:28Speaker 1: something Quinlan who was the DP on Spin City, and
- 59:32Speaker 1: I think that that was our that was our that
- 59:34Speaker 1: was our our pilot DP. Dicky Quinlan remember that's where
- 59:39Speaker 1: he got the name. So Jordan is ruining this relationship, Yeah, sabotage.
- 59:45Speaker 1: She is trying to fuck it up because she doesn't
- 59:48Speaker 1: know why. Actually she's doing it because she you know,
- 59:52Speaker 1: she blames everything on the fact that she had mean parents.
- 59:56Speaker 1: But it turns out Jordan didn't have mean parents. They
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: were actually very supportive of her. Yeah, that's true. Well
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: do we learn that, Yeah, we learned that when she's
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: trying to muster up the story to tell Elliot. Elliott, yes,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: she just mean, she's naturally mean. Well she's but also
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: she she's taking advantage of She's taking advantage of Elliott.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: And when she realizes that she messed up of the
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: relationship for her friends, she feels guilty about it and
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: she goes to Cox. Now it's a pretty funny scene
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: where Cox is like, you know, what you're feeling is
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: guilt and uh and it and it upsets her and
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: then she realized that she needs to talk to Elliot
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: about it, and that's what leads to Elliott taking a
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: nap while prepares her speech. She cuts her waking up,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: She's like, if you want to talk, because if so,
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: I should probably brush my teeth. She's been out that long.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: How about Sarah up on that flagpole? She wasn't mussing around. No,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: she was not your face when Donald's face went totally serious. No,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: she was not Sarah. Um looked like she'd practiced. I
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: you could get strong on impose. Yes, there's there's it's
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: a workout that people do. Um. How cute was that's
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: actually for those of you who don't know. When they
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: cut to Jordan's fantasy that she's like an Oprah Winfrey
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: talk show, she says, how about I just danced with
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: a with a with a little kid that looks exactly
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: like me, And out comes a little Charlotte Lawrence doing
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: the running Man with her. That was so cute, very cute.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: That was funny. That was a very memorable scene. And
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: then Lloyd Lloyd sees Sarah rubbing on the flagpole and
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: he goes, do you want to make like twelve or
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: thirteen bucks? And then they texted to Keith and he
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: does a very nice door hit, very good pratfall. Wow. Yeah,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: he nailed that, no pun intended. And by the way,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: then j d all of a sudden appears who hasn't
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: been anywhere, and um, and Todd didn't. J D daydreams
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: and realizes it. And this was a great moment for
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: me watching you, Rob, because your response at the end
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: of it was you played the disappointment very well, but
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: you also played the you know, I'm you know, uh,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: the all right, this dude is not good is sarcas? Yeah,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: well not just the sarcasm. He's of no use to me. Also,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: but I don't want to hurt his feelings. And you know,
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: it was a great moment, man, it says um, it
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: says on Scrubs Wickis, Todd uses sarcasm for the first
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: and probably last time when he says that's helpful to JD.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: Is that what That's helpful? Yeah? It was sarcasm. Um?
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Oh wait so And also, I don't think we've ever
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: seen JD. We've never stayed with another cast member as
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: j D has gone off into a fantasy, which was right,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: He recognizes it, and he says, now I gotta wait
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: for him to come back with some wacky uh yes, yes,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: and I can come back. We'd have to find a
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: lot of gnomes. I want to see what that fantasy was.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: I mean, I'm curious. Well, it's clearly some something that
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: has to do with tonnmes Um and then, um, what
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: did you say? I forgot what the setup was, but
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: I wrote down if only my Don could talk, Oh, yeah,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: something about being if all I can persuade someone yeage
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: montage of all three of you trying to figure out
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: how to do it, and when we cut to you,
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: you go, only my Don could talk. Yeah, I could convinced. Oh,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: I think there's a setup. That's like's I just need someone.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: I think I didn't read the set up. It's like
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: I need someone who's something that's confident and smart and
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: think or something. You set yourself up and then you're
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: like only my dog guitar. Jordan reveals that sometimes she
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: fakes not having orgasms. Funny, that's that's I never heard
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: of that as a thing before. She's so mean. She
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: doesn't even want her part funny, so funny, that's how
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: that's how mean she is. She doesn't want her husband
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: to know that he successfully pleased her, and why not
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: because and then she cuts them and then she cuts
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: them in the middle of the night when so twisted. Um,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: and I liked them. I thought the ending was really sweet.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: It was like, um, it went it went on too
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: like the third tier of actors where he got passed
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: off and and you see Snoop dogg Resident go, I
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: wish they Yeah, I wish they knew my name was Ronald?
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: Why what did they call me Ronald? But what I
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: understand about that is, um, what's his name? Man? No,
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: the guy the actor? Who? Um? Who? Uh? Sean who
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: plays a cabbage? Why didn't he um? He was reading
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: the cup right, So in the world of Scrubs, he
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: just knows that that's his nickname and wrote it down
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: on the cup, because otherwise dog Resident would have said, yeah,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: can I get a lot say for Snoop Dog Resident.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: But he doesn't have to. He works coffee Bucks. Everybody
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: knows who he is. Yeah, he's Snoop Dog Resident. I'm
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: fun coffee shop to hang out in. Well yeah, especially
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: if you love Scrubs. No, I'm just saying, like in
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: real life, I mean, of all those fun people were
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: in that coffee shop. It looks like very entertaining place
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: to get your coffee. Well, yeah, if you like the people,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: watch all right, let's finish the show. That was a
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: great show. Rob. We love having you always. You're so
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: you didn't talk much today. Rob, I'm gonna be honest
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: with you. You kept it to yourself. Do you feel
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: like your your birthday present wasn't good enough? No? I
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: feel like my birthday present didn't have enough bread and
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: sugar and uh low energy. Yeah. And would it be?
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: Would it be? Would it be? Would it finished things off? Okay?
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: If Rob took out his cock, you need a quick
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: pick peek of the banana hammock? What do you need, man?
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: For your birthday, for your birthday, for your birthday, you
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: don't have to try and sell me on it. Good.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Give him a cameo, Rob, Happy birthday? Came people ever
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: ask you to do it in the in the onesie? Yeah,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: they asked, Well, they asked for the scrubs cap or
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: the hammock. And it's just a little a question on
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: cameo because I imagine anybody could be on cameo. Could
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: you be like, I want your full cock, I'll pay twenty.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: I don't think that's only fans, right, Rob? You know
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: I'm not only fans, not yet, Not yet, Rob, you
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: should go on only fans in show Come. There was
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: a place wait, let me ask you a question. There
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: was a place that's a good question. If there was
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: a place that you could go to and they said
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: we'll pay you. You know, you put up your price
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: and we'll pay that shit like only only fans, Rob, Rob,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: would you go on only fans? Let's say if the
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: let's say if some woman or some gay man wanted
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: to see the Dong in real life. Um, what would
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: the price be on on the fans? We have to
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: really brainstorm on a price for that. I'm not Yeah, sure,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: all right, we'll brainstorm on it and we'll we'll let's try.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: Let's try to the fans. You get the audience on
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: hook to come back next time. On the next episode,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: we will report to you what Rob has said is
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: his stated price to show Dong on only fans. We'll
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: see you next week. Y'all stories about show we made?
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: No Sistana canitor who loved me? I said, here's the
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: stories that all should know. So Ganda around you Here
