[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, cool.
0:30
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, he's going to kill us tomorrow.
0:32
[SPEAKER_05]: Welcome back to the fish tank presented by Van Hornlog Group and Casabella Design Group, Seth Levitt and the toughest podcast or dammer you know ever played with, O.J., McDuffie Juice.
0:44
[SPEAKER_03]: How you feeling today, man?
0:46
[SPEAKER_03]: Me, you know, I'm always feeling good, man.
0:48
[SPEAKER_03]: We jump on my side of the ball, big success.
0:50
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
0:51
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
0:51
[SPEAKER_03]: And, you know, in the tough mode, full on top of that, bro.
0:54
[SPEAKER_03]: And always, always lights me up a little bit, man.
0:57
[SPEAKER_03]: So it's gonna be another farming force as we usually get into it.
1:00
[SPEAKER_03]: So wait a minute.
1:01
[SPEAKER_05]: If he is tough,
1:03
[SPEAKER_05]: And you're the toughest podcast or damn, you know, we're played with.
1:06
[SPEAKER_05]: If he has a podcast that we have to have a challenge, do we have to determine this, like I don't know.
1:11
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if you're into this, the octagon type thing.
1:13
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't mess with fullbacks man.
1:14
[SPEAKER_03]: You don't want to get it.
1:16
[SPEAKER_05]: He doesn't want that smoke.
1:17
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't want that smoke at all.
1:19
[SPEAKER_05]: What better way to introduce our long time friend is been a long ass time, even though he's been texting us, we've been texting back and forth, sending pictures, Robert Bull Wilson.
1:31
[SPEAKER_02]: Hey man, glad to be here, glad to finally be on with you guys.
1:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Talk to you both of y'all at the reunion a couple of years ago when Timbo went into the ring of honor.
1:46
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so you guys said it wasn't what you're doing, so.
1:52
[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't bring my boys with me.
1:54
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, well good.
1:54
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm glad.
1:55
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, we had our hands full with you.
1:57
[SPEAKER_05]: We certainly didn't need to mess with your boys, but we told you in due time, right, a due time.
2:02
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, fair enough.
2:03
[SPEAKER_05]: Starting with a star bull is how you finish.
2:06
[SPEAKER_04]: There you go, there you go.
2:08
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, we just heard a big suffer for you as a bull man and I imagine that won't be the last time we'll say this on you know that your nickname today while we do as interview man.
2:18
[SPEAKER_02]: So let's kick things off right there, but but getting to the bottom of this where did the name bull come from.
2:37
[SPEAKER_02]: And raw Harris was one of our receipts, one of our senior receivers, he looked at me like that.
2:44
[SPEAKER_02]: We got a, we got a guy named tank already who had to call you bull and man, it's tough that since that day.
2:52
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I've been bulled.
2:55
[SPEAKER_05]: I wonder if he takes pride in giving a nickname that's hung around, Jews?
2:59
[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
2:59
[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
3:00
[SPEAKER_03]: That's important in life, man.
3:02
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
3:02
[SPEAKER_03]: Y'all meet big Seth, come on now.
3:03
[SPEAKER_03]: Where you get big Seth from big Seth?
3:06
[SPEAKER_05]: Clearly, it was you, because they know what he else called me that ever in life.
3:09
[SPEAKER_05]: But it's been you.
3:10
[SPEAKER_05]: And now I, you know, I'll walk in and it will meet a dolphins fan somewhere anywhere, can't know how I would ever like big Seth.
3:16
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm a hey y'all.
3:17
[SPEAKER_05]: I'll rock it.
3:18
[SPEAKER_05]: Let's go.
3:19
[SPEAKER_05]: Big Seth, Bowling, Jews.
3:21
[SPEAKER_05]: That's it.
3:21
[SPEAKER_05]: Nobody has a damn real name up in here.
3:24
[SPEAKER_05]: too good.
3:25
[SPEAKER_05]: So look, there's a, I told you I reached out to Zach Thomas before this and I told him that that you were going to join us.
3:33
[SPEAKER_05]: And I, I promised him this, whether he wanted it or not, this was going to be my lead off question for you.
3:40
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
3:40
[SPEAKER_05]: There is an all-time great story about Zach and Iso riding shirtless in the back of Mike Westoff's convertible.
3:51
[SPEAKER_05]: And the legend has it that you are the one that's spotting them on the road and came in the camp with David and said, look, I'm spilling the beans on all these dudes.
4:01
[SPEAKER_05]: So I want to know if it was you who we have to thank for this story that has lived in Fish Tank in front of me.
4:09
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, my God, man, you know, because you know, like, you know, in the locker room, we all talk about, you know, kissing ass and pulling up the air.
4:19
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I should, so I was going down for 95 miles of my business on an off day.
4:27
[SPEAKER_02]: And here comes, when I look over and I say, oh, that's Mike, would the top down?
4:34
[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, oh, shit, that's, that's Zach and Iso.
4:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Before he else is.
4:44
[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, oh, shit, they party in.
4:48
[SPEAKER_02]: So that, and it is all they, they had a look on their face like, Oh, it's cool, but that is gonna kill us tomorrow.
4:55
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, so they saw that you saw that.
4:57
[SPEAKER_02]: They knew it right away.
4:58
[SPEAKER_05]: But then they have their shirts off, that they really have their damn shirts off.
5:01
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah.
5:02
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, my God.
5:03
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, yes, I mean, they were they were rookies and and so I you know, I didn't give them the business that bad, but I did let it I didn't let the story out People I'm so glad that you did and did did West all has he shared off as well?
5:20
[SPEAKER_05]: No, okay Because I would have been the best if the three of them had their shirts off oh
5:28
[SPEAKER_02]: But I didn't at that point, I didn't know Mike had a damn drop top view it, you know, I didn't know that, I didn't know that about him.
5:36
[SPEAKER_03]: That's awesome.
5:38
[SPEAKER_02]: That's awesome.
5:38
[SPEAKER_03]: Learned a lot about dudes.
5:39
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we're gonna, I mean, I'm sure they're gonna be plenty stories like that, man, as we go along today, man.
5:44
[SPEAKER_03]: But I want to dial it back a little bit, you know, way back a little bit, I actually back to, you know, before you made it to lead.
5:50
[SPEAKER_03]: We talked a little bit about this, but you played your college ball, Texas and him.
5:54
[SPEAKER_03]: with the guy's fans, it's very familiar with a guy by the name of wrist and web, the great wrist and web.
6:02
[SPEAKER_03]: Now, we know a dominant web he was, you know, once he sat foot in my amy, but tell us about wrist and web that Aggie.
6:11
[SPEAKER_02]: Same thing man, wrist and web that Aggie was less tapped.
6:15
[SPEAKER_02]: He started out at guard.
6:18
[SPEAKER_02]: And then they moved into left tackle as Junior Senior and same thing, man.
6:23
[SPEAKER_02]: I remember we played undery where when he won a high school and the score was seven, seven.
6:31
[SPEAKER_02]: And we put this play in tackle trap.
6:34
[SPEAKER_02]: It's where I lined up split back.
6:36
[SPEAKER_02]: I was split back to the right.
6:38
[SPEAKER_02]: And where would come down and trap the middle line back?
6:43
[SPEAKER_02]: And now I'll tell you that play worked
6:47
[SPEAKER_02]: Now I went, I went for 41 yards and touched down.
6:51
[SPEAKER_02]: Right, damn, they really were.
6:52
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they did.
6:54
[SPEAKER_02]: But he, well, I talked to him yesterday, man, you know, he, this is the story that nobody knows about web.
7:01
[SPEAKER_02]: When I first, I had to move forward, sorry to you.
7:05
[SPEAKER_02]: But when I'm signed with the dolphins, I live with web.
7:13
[SPEAKER_02]: I was at the fuckin' rolling heels, he was like, oh man, man, come on, man, come on, but guys, he's like, man, come on, man, he did stay at my house and, you know.
7:23
[SPEAKER_02]: And so I was very grateful for him for that and so that's the type of guy he is, you know what I mean?
7:31
[SPEAKER_02]: And so fuckin' fun, every time I see Higgy,
7:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Higgie sold me out, man, so yeah, how the hell?
7:41
[SPEAKER_02]: Man, Higgie, so I signed with the dolphins.
7:45
[SPEAKER_02]: And so I come for the first day of practice.
7:48
[SPEAKER_02]: And I had been in Houston smoking and drinking for two weeks.
7:54
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, after I got cut from the cowboy, right?
7:57
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm in Houston smoking and drinking, and I'm getting ready to go to, you know,
8:04
[SPEAKER_02]: uh... puppet mine now he's my brother-in-law but he's my college roommate well i'm here to my sister but we were getting ready to take a plan uh... for the death of yon monday night so i've flew back to Dallas to hang out as i'm coming downstairs my agent called me i'm dressed i'm ready i got my cologne and she said i'm party too hard you got to fly to my am in the morning uh... oh shit
8:34
[SPEAKER_02]: get to the first practice.
8:36
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm the only scout team fullback.
8:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Right?
8:42
[SPEAKER_02]: From your hook, here's your one-take grip.
8:46
[SPEAKER_02]: In this hook, now you got that down.
8:51
[SPEAKER_02]: And I'll give that up to the hook.
8:54
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh man, I mean, so when I went to webs, I cramped up in the car on the way on.
9:01
[SPEAKER_02]: We've had to pull over and gas things to give me some gatorade stuff, but I give I give a piggy to business about that every time I say I'm going to go back to A&M though and we're really quick because I love that you talked about that play that worked the perfection.
9:20
[SPEAKER_05]: You know, we're Richmond's a semi-finalist again for the pro football hall of fame, second time in a row, long overdue in all of our opinions, but one of the, I guess, criticisms, if you can give a criticism to a guy and what the seventh straight probal is one of the things that maybe has held him back thus far as to being in the hall of fame is when people say he was only a pass blocker.
9:44
[SPEAKER_05]: And he's like, before I got to Miami, we didn't even throw the ball at A&M.
9:48
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, all we did was run the ball, and we ran the option and everything else.
9:52
[SPEAKER_05]: And so he's like, go put on the film.
9:54
[SPEAKER_05]: I just got to a place where the offense was built around the arm of that guy behind me.
9:59
[SPEAKER_05]: And so my job shifted, and I did it to the best of my ability.
10:02
[SPEAKER_05]: And so you talk about what kind of a run block or he wasn't college.
10:07
[SPEAKER_02]: OK, so I'll just give you a step.
10:14
[SPEAKER_02]: 89.
10:15
[SPEAKER_02]: We rush for 300 yards for the season.
10:20
[SPEAKER_02]: That means every game we play, we rush for 300 yards.
10:25
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
10:25
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
10:26
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, so I mean, so that's enough.
10:31
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
10:31
[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm sure I ran over that left side a lot.
10:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
10:35
[SPEAKER_02]: For sure.
10:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
10:36
[SPEAKER_02]: We have guys like Matt McCall, Mike Arthur,
10:41
[SPEAKER_02]: Our line was back then was over 300 average, you know, big fellas.
10:47
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, and and and seeing it back then, we had those great defenses.
10:51
[SPEAKER_02]: So our our game plan was to keep it close and we just wear people down with the run, you know, in the end, you know, you know what I wish not to fast forward back to the dolphins.
11:05
[SPEAKER_02]: But I asked Jimmy, man.
11:08
[SPEAKER_02]: before the open might even the hot mugs came out and then I feel yeah I asked him man I said I said because I was cool with the with those two brothers the guys did the pre-em for the dolphins yeah the hack brothers yeah there's a little two hands or whatever you weren't necessarily twins but yeah but yeah that's the brothers but so I also know I said can you make me up for a game?
11:36
[SPEAKER_02]: because I wanted to have that the pass on to my kids.
11:40
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, everything that I'm saying and going through during the game, right?
11:44
[SPEAKER_02]: And by that time, Jimmy had landed and I asked Jimmy, you know, and I found this I was working at a fucking, uh, working at the Houstonian Gulf and Country Club that sometimes, and I'm sure you guys went through with this with the dolphins, asking permission and seeking denial.
12:05
[SPEAKER_02]: So, Jimmy said no to it, but if I had known them what I know now, I would have did it myself.
12:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
12:14
[SPEAKER_02]: Where do you go put a little tape recorder in there?
12:17
[SPEAKER_02]: Hell yeah.
12:17
[SPEAKER_02]: A little walk man or something?
12:19
[SPEAKER_02]: Something man, something to record because people don't like juice nose, the meetings, Gary
12:35
[SPEAKER_02]: So we did, now I'm passing back to the office.
12:38
[SPEAKER_02]: We did 25 plays team, right?
12:42
[SPEAKER_02]: And you got to add this up, 25 plays team, right?
12:46
[SPEAKER_02]: Gary, on average, as running backs, we didn't have to get us to do, because it was all past, man.
12:52
[SPEAKER_02]: But count.
12:52
[SPEAKER_02]: So 25 plays a team on average, Gary Stephen ran every playback, 14 times.
13:00
[SPEAKER_02]: Damn.
13:02
[SPEAKER_02]: to him as well as me run that back then guess what happens at the end of all of that Chool of wakes up right To a way stuffy like what was that Run that back.
13:20
[SPEAKER_02]: He's like you can't do it The plants play the long-term whole thing Run everything
13:28
[SPEAKER_02]: So we, we would start me in the runna bags and we would start dropping out keys and see about, hey man, we got to go home, we were trying to wake him up earlier.
13:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Is that what you're saying?
13:36
[SPEAKER_05]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
13:45
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, you know, Seth, it's so funny that, you know, that Bull talks about meetings and Suleo, foreign sleep and meetings, man, because, you know, we did a little bit of digging ourselves about Bull's college experience.
13:55
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, and we heard that as a freshman, you might have had a little bit of a challenging stand awake and all that some meetings.
14:02
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, apparently, that's true, Bull, did you have a problem as well as a freshman in college?
14:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, not in college.
14:10
[SPEAKER_02]: I had problem in pros, man.
14:12
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, man.
14:13
[SPEAKER_02]: That's not what our intel tells us.
14:15
[SPEAKER_02]: I think when I looked back on it, it was a, it's something, it's like a diagnosis that I did, had no, no cure about.
14:23
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I had no, I didn't know.
14:26
[SPEAKER_03]: It called a genotonic.
14:27
[SPEAKER_03]: They call it genotonic bull.
14:30
[SPEAKER_03]: That's the diagnosis, man.
14:31
[SPEAKER_03]: That's a medical, that's a medical thing.
14:33
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, when I was in Miami, they called it weed.
14:40
[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
14:51
[SPEAKER_03]: Hey man, it was always tough.
14:52
[SPEAKER_03]: You talking about it, me, Seth, all seriousness man, NFL meetings might be the toughest things to sit through, bro, especially when you got a situation like Bulls talking about that.
15:01
[SPEAKER_03]: You're watching the same place over and over, go every single day and then, unfortunately, Coach Shua did not also sometimes and wanted to run the whole tape back.
15:09
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, then you went up and around play five.
15:12
[SPEAKER_03]: But if you went up and around play 20, now you're running all 20 back.
15:15
[SPEAKER_03]: Now five ain't back, compared to running all 20 back, you know what I mean?
15:20
[SPEAKER_02]: So not only that, they would run the place, but once we got that done with that,
15:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Guess what Jews than Dan would do?
15:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Jews than, what's the, what's the, uh, the tight end, uh, from Dr.
15:35
[SPEAKER_02]: He Jackson, Keith Jackson, and all that's it every time.
15:40
[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, everybody wanted the ball in that on that team.
15:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
15:44
[SPEAKER_02]: And fires, Keith Jackson, like I'm Jews.
15:47
[SPEAKER_02]: They're there by the, they wanted the ball.
15:50
[SPEAKER_02]: So, Gary will be like, hey, what should we run right here?
15:53
[SPEAKER_02]: And every time he said that,
15:55
[SPEAKER_02]: Keith Jackson would be like, wow, I'm shit.
15:59
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I'm shit, I
16:22
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh my god, I'm like, what are we doing?
16:23
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it's not like you're like, what is it?
16:25
[SPEAKER_04]: Peanut and I are like, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what is this, what
16:41
[SPEAKER_03]: My ass is paying the tics on the way you play is if you know what the hell you doing out there with Danny because you're not gonna get him hit That's in the back feel boom you got the type of protection you mess that up boy you won't get your ass on the field No, if you run around and then expect you to see can you Zack man you got the man those hand signals were critical, man
17:01
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you know, we had everything fryer on when we did fish tank iconic and he talked about right the famous fourth and five.
17:08
[SPEAKER_05]: This was a year before Bull got there with the famous four to the five and the five fingers up and that was, you know, nobody else in the stadium knew that Earth was going to run that play and the whole thing.
17:17
[SPEAKER_05]: And it's legendary.
17:18
[SPEAKER_05]: It's iconic.
17:19
[SPEAKER_05]: We did a documentary about it.
17:20
[SPEAKER_05]: And Bull's over here like they need to get this shit over with.
17:22
[SPEAKER_05]: These dropping his keys on the floor.
17:25
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
17:26
[SPEAKER_05]: He's got places to be.
17:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Actually, it was brutal man.
17:29
[SPEAKER_05]: All right, I want to dial it back a little bit before you arrived in my him.
17:35
[SPEAKER_05]: You were a third round draft choice by Tampa 91 right, you know right at an end them.
17:40
[SPEAKER_02]: You carried ball a lot of it and they're going to pick over all there you go third well rounds.
17:46
[SPEAKER_05]: There you go right.
17:46
[SPEAKER_05]: And so third round pick.
17:47
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, that's that that's a high draft choice.
17:49
[SPEAKER_05]: There's a draft choice where there's an expectations placed upon you.
17:53
[SPEAKER_05]: And then you get significant playing time is a rookie with the bucks on his 15 games as a rookie.
17:59
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, and but we had a coach that nobody's still knows well I'm personally know this guy.
18:06
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, his name was Richard Williamson.
18:09
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
18:09
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it doesn't quite have the credentials of some of the other coaches that you pay for in your career, but so that's what that's where this comes in because it's like just know this if if you could drafted by a coach that always have a job.
18:25
[SPEAKER_02]: you'll always have a job.
18:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.
18:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Juus can tell you, when Jimmy came to Miami, the fucking dolphins turned into the University of Miami.
18:33
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it did.
18:35
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, you're ready to my ass.
18:37
[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, you're happy right.
18:39
[SPEAKER_02]: At least at least 20 guys on that fucking team.
18:44
[SPEAKER_02]: You'd have a you, something you want to come by now.
18:46
[SPEAKER_02]: Let's grab one of those two, please.
18:48
[SPEAKER_02]: Let me draft for that.
18:48
[SPEAKER_02]: That's your team.
18:49
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you're right.
18:50
[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
18:50
[SPEAKER_02]: Then he drafted that receiver number one.
18:53
[SPEAKER_02]: You're too great.
18:53
[SPEAKER_02]: You're too great.
18:55
[SPEAKER_02]: You got hurt or whatever, what not, but you know, that's cool, but now, if you want to fast or so, no, no, we got it.
19:02
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, so here's the question is, you have this productive, you're third round choice.
19:07
[SPEAKER_05]: You have a productive year in 91, and the next time you're on an NFL roster,
19:12
[SPEAKER_05]: is 1994, and you're in Dallas and Barry Switzer.
19:15
[SPEAKER_05]: I know you want to camp with Green Bay, the year before, how to call coffee with Green Bay.
19:20
[SPEAKER_05]: What happened between 91, a productive season as a third round pick?
19:26
[SPEAKER_05]: Because usually, if you draft it, guys would get drafted in the top three rounds.
19:30
[SPEAKER_05]: And especially if they play, they're going to get another year or two, just out of the fact that they've gotten, you know, the team has invested in it.
19:37
[SPEAKER_05]: So what happens between 91 and 94 before you get to Dallas?
19:42
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, read the book.
19:44
[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, no, where you can, but the coast that came in was was the Sam voice, Sam voice came in and juice knows the politics of that when they when they come in they're bringing all the people with you.
19:59
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so he brought all the people that he won the fucking Super Bowl within 88
20:08
[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I'm saying?
20:09
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, he's the one, right?
20:10
[SPEAKER_02]: They just went through Super Bowl.
20:11
[SPEAKER_02]: No, I think they won't.
20:12
[SPEAKER_02]: No, they won't.
20:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Because when he's at Cincinnati, yeah, Cincinnati won't.
20:16
[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't win once.
20:17
[SPEAKER_02]: Just now, they lost to say they went.
20:18
[SPEAKER_03]: They went.
20:19
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they went.
20:19
[SPEAKER_03]: Cincinnati never won.
20:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
20:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, he dropped that in on the side.
20:22
[SPEAKER_02]: But you know what?
20:23
[SPEAKER_02]: I liked his coaching style, so the two coaches that cut me, Jimmy and this guy, I love their coaching style.
20:31
[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
20:31
[SPEAKER_02]: You couldn't, you couldn't knock that, you know, but it's just one of a good fit.
20:37
[SPEAKER_02]: But that's when Richard Williamson's, so my rookie year, so this is where the book came in.
20:47
[SPEAKER_02]: I was blocking for Regicob.
20:49
[SPEAKER_02]: Right?
20:50
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay?
20:50
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to read it up.
20:52
[SPEAKER_02]: Me and Reddy Cobb, best friends, though, live together in the offseason training together, everything.
20:58
[SPEAKER_02]: Or I peed by the way.
20:59
[SPEAKER_02]: But so fast forward, last game of the season my rookie year, we fly into Chicago.
21:07
[SPEAKER_02]: December, I'll never forget the day.
21:09
[SPEAKER_02]: December 22nd, Cobb has 971 yard in his contract.
21:20
[SPEAKER_02]: because you know back then contract were incentive like you know you get this many yards you get this much plenty of time that kind of shit so pop at 971 yards his contract stipulated that he gets a thousand yards he's a free agent yeah he gets to leave shitty ass tap so we we we're going to game fast forward first player to game
21:51
[SPEAKER_02]: By the way, it's cold.
21:53
[SPEAKER_02]: This is cold without ever been in my life in that game.
21:57
[SPEAKER_02]: I went outside, the free game and ran.
22:01
[SPEAKER_02]: Five, 100 yards sprints and felt nothing.
22:05
[SPEAKER_02]: I went back in the fucking locker room.
22:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Looks like this shit, it was just cold out here.
22:11
[SPEAKER_02]: So now, carbs at nine, he got nine yards under the lake drill.
22:15
[SPEAKER_02]: So he's at 990, right?
22:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, so everybody, you know, and I had to say, probably in this town, I get back in the huddle, Gary Anderson is in the huddle.
22:28
[SPEAKER_02]: I said, gee, where's Kyle?
22:31
[SPEAKER_02]: He said, I don't know, I say as he heard, I don't think so.
22:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Ready, break.
22:36
[SPEAKER_02]: They never put him back in the game, but I don't know.
22:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty.
22:41
[SPEAKER_02]: Super, the fucking filthy, but so now it's too cold.
22:46
[SPEAKER_02]: Now, Kyle doesn't get his thousand yards.
22:49
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not blocking 4,000 y'all.
22:51
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not a fool back, rookie fool back, blocking 4,000 y'all.
22:54
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm rushing.
22:55
[SPEAKER_02]: Because every team back then wanted that thousand y'all, rushing right.
23:00
[SPEAKER_02]: And so, you know, we got into it with the new code, and he called and curses us up.
23:07
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm trying to build something.
23:08
[SPEAKER_02]: He got my two-fuckers, starting backfields, fucking Houston holding out.
23:14
[SPEAKER_02]: I fucking ran though.
23:15
[SPEAKER_02]: You didn't do it, but I mean, you know.
23:19
[SPEAKER_02]: But I like coaches that love smart players, you know what I mean, and that's how him and Jimmy work and he He put like if you knew the game you could make adjustments during the game even me as a fullback, right?
23:37
[SPEAKER_02]: It was that yeah, yeah, so when I got cut from Tampa I went
23:44
[SPEAKER_02]: So Quentin Courier was the second pick of the draft, another one of my roommates for Indianapolis.
23:51
[SPEAKER_02]: I went and lived with him, got out of my way back to Houston with the smoking and drinking.
23:56
[SPEAKER_02]: I went and lived with him, and I was working out, you know, the old bull's gym workout, whatever.
24:04
[SPEAKER_02]: I worked out, I worked out for the Indian, they love me.
24:07
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I worked out for Indianapolis, they love me.
24:10
[SPEAKER_02]: So that all season, this is crazy.
24:14
[SPEAKER_02]: So me, Quentin, Cory, Kevin Smith, for the Cowboys, we're our best friends from college.
24:21
[SPEAKER_02]: That's a roster stack.
24:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so I'm in Dallas hanging out with Kevin.
24:27
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's all season and it's Friday.
24:32
[SPEAKER_02]: This Monday, the coming Monday, I'm supposed to sign.
24:36
[SPEAKER_02]: with Indianapolis, I've got a contract on the table.
24:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Kevin Smith's come home.
24:41
[SPEAKER_02]: He's only worked his magic with the cowboy.
24:45
[SPEAKER_02]: He comes on and tells me, hey man, they got a locker with the name in it.
24:49
[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, what?
24:51
[SPEAKER_02]: The cowboy was?
24:51
[SPEAKER_02]: He said, yeah, I said, bullshit, let's go see it.
24:54
[SPEAKER_02]: He took me over there, man.
24:55
[SPEAKER_02]: I had a fucking locker, but they started me without even telling me.
25:00
[SPEAKER_02]: He's a liar.
25:00
[SPEAKER_02]: Damn, who's your agent?
25:02
[SPEAKER_02]: Zucker Jim's up here.
25:04
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
25:04
[SPEAKER_03]: He didn't give you a cross of forgery.
25:08
[SPEAKER_03]: You can't stop him.
25:09
[SPEAKER_03]: You can't stop him back then.
25:10
[SPEAKER_03]: He had a big set.
25:11
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what that.
25:12
[SPEAKER_02]: No.
25:13
[SPEAKER_02]: It was all Kevin's doing.
25:14
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, he's like, hey, man, I know this guy can play.
25:17
[SPEAKER_02]: He's my roommate.
25:18
[SPEAKER_02]: But I'll be in my shot.
25:20
[SPEAKER_03]: I know that's right.
25:21
[SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah, so, and I thought about it, so the politics were kicking in in my mind, so I was like, well, if I get screwed again, I'm not going to be in Texas, so I started with the Cowboys, and that day before.
25:34
[SPEAKER_05]: Makes sense?
25:35
[SPEAKER_02]: Made the team, made the team, and then during the Sikh, during that season, Chante Corbard, the first round pit, flipped his truck on the highway, and Eric Williams ran his car into the
25:50
[SPEAKER_02]: So now, for the backup fullback, now I was sitting, and one weekend, I go in, I'm caught up in the numbers game.
25:58
[SPEAKER_02]: So they got to bring in two tackles for air, and two ends for the shanty carver.
26:05
[SPEAKER_02]: So I get cut.
26:07
[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
26:08
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
26:08
[SPEAKER_02]: And that's one of the two weeks, was smoking a drinking cave, and I went home and came back and then 94, that's when I ended up in Miami.
26:17
[SPEAKER_00]: What if going bankrupt was the best thing that happened to you?
26:20
[SPEAKER_00]: Whether it's your wages being garnished, car repossessed, house for clothes, or you're suffocating with that.
26:25
[SPEAKER_00]: A good bankruptcy attorney can give you peace of mind that you need and deserve.
26:29
[SPEAKER_00]: My name is Chad Van Horm from Van Horm Law Group, and I've personally seen people thrive after filing for bankruptcy.
26:35
[SPEAKER_00]: The shame of bankruptcy is just a toy to keep you in debt forever.
26:39
[SPEAKER_00]: There is no shame to work with Van Hormor, log group to get rid of your debt for good.
26:43
[SPEAKER_00]: If you're ready to get your life back, call us today.
26:45
[SPEAKER_00]: Say, I'd less than you'll.
26:47
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, let's talk about that.
26:48
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, let's talk about that because midway through that season in 1994, you know, you do come down to Miami and just like me, really, you were major impact on special teams.
26:57
[SPEAKER_03]: And also just like me, we also had the pleasure.
27:01
[SPEAKER_03]: participate in the infamous Mike Westoff led meetings, man.
27:06
[SPEAKER_03]: He talked about Mike a little bit earlier with Zach and his though in the convertible, man And I know you've got some more good stuff about Mike Westoff.
27:13
[SPEAKER_03]: You can tell us.
27:14
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, Mike Mike Westoff with the red dot, man You you you did not want to you didn't want to mess up and practice right let alone the game
27:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Michael, Michael B, you know, he'll have the red dot on here and he'd be like, look, if you do this in the game, don't come to our fucking side line.
27:35
[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, you're playing for the fucking other teams.
27:39
[SPEAKER_02]: You're out of 10.
27:40
[SPEAKER_02]: I was thinking for him for the other 10.
27:43
[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, so, but he, he was a, he was a special special team's coach, man, the shit that he came up with.
27:51
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, and how he, and so it was so crazy that I was now, they were talking about me as the, as the snitcher, and all that shit because I would go up in my office during off, don't go upstairs, boo, you know, they're going upstairs, you let back seat, boo, you sat there with your shirt off, man.
28:12
[SPEAKER_03]: He's taking one right in shotgun, big stuff, talking about where are you in Zach?
28:17
[SPEAKER_03]: He might be right in
28:18
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, man.
28:20
[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm telling you, man.
28:21
[SPEAKER_02]: So it was a, that was a hell of a ride with Mike bro.
28:25
[SPEAKER_02]: But then here comes your boy.
28:28
[SPEAKER_02]: So let's get to that.
28:29
[SPEAKER_02]: So, so anyway, let's talk about one more one other story too.
28:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Just been bag me up on this one.
28:47
[SPEAKER_02]: Gene
28:50
[SPEAKER_02]: did an article with Jason Cole and said, Gene wouldn't work that.
29:00
[SPEAKER_02]: So we get in the meeting.
29:02
[SPEAKER_02]: Team meeting the next morning.
29:03
[SPEAKER_02]: Cozula's up there.
29:04
[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, OK, guys, we're going to start off with special teams.
29:06
[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to go on James stands up with the article in his hand and starts walking from the back, let him run down to the front.
29:14
[SPEAKER_02]: And he's like, he's holding the article up like he's like,
29:20
[SPEAKER_02]: He says a picture's here, and then he's like, oh shit.
29:25
[SPEAKER_02]: And then he says a picture here, motherfucker, what about, what I got, my pocket, you know what I'm saying, word by my money, so a picture's here.
29:34
[SPEAKER_02]: And then so Dan, Dan's coming around.
29:37
[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, what happened, Jean?
29:38
[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, did you say it then?
29:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I was like, I meant, right back around.
29:50
[SPEAKER_02]: And man, let me tell you.
29:52
[SPEAKER_02]: And so this is not, not so co-stuelling.
29:56
[SPEAKER_02]: That's what they call him to die, but because that's just never hit the paper.
30:00
[SPEAKER_02]: When we walked out of that meeting, we had the deemless choking Jason Cole in his locker.
30:07
[SPEAKER_02]: You don't remember that?
30:08
[SPEAKER_02]: I do.
30:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
30:10
[SPEAKER_02]: We've had a conversation.
30:11
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
30:11
[SPEAKER_02]: No, exactly talking about.
30:13
[SPEAKER_02]: We had a pool of pool gene off of them.
30:15
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
30:15
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
30:15
[SPEAKER_03]: Talk about.
30:16
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, God.
30:18
[SPEAKER_02]: This is a friend of the program.
30:19
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we tried it.
30:20
[SPEAKER_02]: We tried it.
30:20
[SPEAKER_02]: We tried it.
30:22
[SPEAKER_02]: We tried it.
30:23
[SPEAKER_02]: We tried it.
30:24
[SPEAKER_02]: We tried it.
30:25
[SPEAKER_02]: We tried it.
30:27
[SPEAKER_02]: We tried it.
30:28
[SPEAKER_02]: We tried it.
30:29
[SPEAKER_02]: So remember those that 94 years, just I was flying around with y'all, dressed not dressing, but I was on the active roster.
30:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
30:39
[SPEAKER_02]: I was getting all my money from my car.
30:41
[SPEAKER_03]: Right you were.
30:42
[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
30:44
[SPEAKER_05]: So that's, so soon with now now, here comes Jim right.
30:48
[SPEAKER_05]: So, so, Bo, let me ask you about this before you get it and how do yourself 95 was the final year for, for Coach Shula, most maybe the greatest career of a national football league head coach of all time.
31:03
[SPEAKER_05]: But, and that off season, when I was in a makes a change, he brings in Jimmy Johnson as you just indicated.
31:09
[SPEAKER_05]: It's no secret.
31:10
[SPEAKER_05]: That Jimmy and most coaches when they come into a new franchise, but particularly a coach like Jimmy, he started to jettison veteran players wanted a lot of youth on the team for a lot of different reasons and and we started to see that youth movement.
31:26
[SPEAKER_05]: Now, again, going back to some great stories that have been told here in the fish tank, and not just here, I mean, I remember it was on the Miami Harald, our Mondo World a big story about it.
31:35
[SPEAKER_05]: The whole, we have Marino and Izzo, we need 51 more, right?
31:39
[SPEAKER_05]: And there was a, and it was such a feel good story that this one draft of kid.
31:44
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, let me set you out.
31:47
[SPEAKER_05]: So, no, but that's what I want to know, because I heard you say this on another interview that like we've all heard the fun feel good story about iso call your parents on a so forth but you told the story about how from your perspective as a guy who had played specialties tell me what was and share it with juice tell me what was going through your mind as you're sitting in that meeting room and all that's unfolding.
32:12
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, well, to the first maiden
32:16
[SPEAKER_02]: with Jim being done and juice because, you know, Fred, remember Fred was your receiver buddy.
32:23
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh yeah.
32:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Is that Fred Bang?
32:24
[SPEAKER_02]: Freddy B. Fred Barnet.
32:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Fred Barnet.
32:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
32:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Fred Barnet.
32:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
32:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Fred Barnet.
32:29
[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
32:29
[SPEAKER_02]: Fred Barnet.
32:29
[SPEAKER_02]: Fred Barnet.
32:30
[SPEAKER_02]: Fred Barnet.
32:30
[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
32:31
[SPEAKER_02]: Fred Barnet.
32:31
[SPEAKER_02]: Fred Barnet.
32:31
[SPEAKER_02]: Fred Barnet.
32:31
[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
32:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Fred Barnet.
32:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
32:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Fred Barnet.
32:33
[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
32:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Fred Barnet.
32:35
[SPEAKER_02]: Jimmy, so Jimmy said, Fred, the next time he late for the meeting, stay on the fucking outside of the door, don't come in.
32:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Then, Jimmy's got a white board down at the front.
32:49
[SPEAKER_02]: Nobody said, I think sugar never did that.
32:52
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, the fucking white board for it.
32:54
[SPEAKER_02]: Man, this motherfucker drew a small house on the white board with one window.
33:02
[SPEAKER_02]: and he put a 13 in that bitch.
33:05
[SPEAKER_02]: So this is the house.
33:06
[SPEAKER_02]: Dan is the only one in the house.
33:09
[SPEAKER_02]: And he's fucking walked out.
33:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Like shit.
33:16
[SPEAKER_02]: So me and his old play, the same position on special teams, right, the up back in the guard and all that shit.
33:22
[SPEAKER_02]: So first priest to use them game.
33:25
[SPEAKER_02]: is oh, knocks his man down, goes and knocks somebody else down.
33:30
[SPEAKER_02]: And so this was a lot of people don't know about Jimmy.
33:33
[SPEAKER_02]: He puts a hell of a lot of importance on special team.
33:37
[SPEAKER_02]: Jimmy runs the special team film.
33:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Do you know what I'm saying?
33:41
[SPEAKER_02]: Jimmy's to run the first team film.
33:43
[SPEAKER_02]: He saw, you know, do that thing.
33:44
[SPEAKER_02]: He stopped the mean.
33:45
[SPEAKER_02]: He said, call your parents.
33:46
[SPEAKER_02]: Tell them you remind me, Doc.
33:48
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, oh shit, we played the same position though, but I love it though, love that, you know, but it's just, you know, just a numbers thing, but now the only reason I stayed, I only reason I got one year with Jimmy.
34:13
[SPEAKER_02]: was because I had 23 special teams tackled the year before.
34:17
[SPEAKER_02]: So he knew I could do the work, right?
34:20
[SPEAKER_02]: But he won, willing to pay me that, my salary as a vested veteran.
34:25
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, didn't get two rookies.
34:28
[SPEAKER_03]: But then my wife won.
34:29
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, we're sure.
34:31
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, yeah, that, that, that, those mean to him, man, we're just, he's another guy.
34:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Not a lot of people don't know.
34:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Jimmy has a degree inside college.
34:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
34:42
[SPEAKER_02]: People don't know that.
34:43
[SPEAKER_02]: So he's gonna fuck with your head.
34:45
[SPEAKER_02]: He's gonna get a thought to head, you know what I mean?
34:49
[SPEAKER_02]: No.
34:49
[SPEAKER_02]: So, but I love that about it, you know, because if you knew what to do, like you said, you're gonna play.
34:56
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
34:56
[SPEAKER_03]: And boom, people don't understand too that everybody is in the special teams meetings.
35:03
[SPEAKER_03]: Office, defense, kickers, partners, training staff, equipment, everybody's in every.
35:10
[SPEAKER_03]: So when they go on off on you, were you getting that red dot?
35:13
[SPEAKER_03]: That was that red dot hits.
35:15
[SPEAKER_02]: I got 150 people see that red dot on your head and after they start the day with that shit and you know him getting on your ass and you know that's how you start your day and that's what I tell people.
35:32
[SPEAKER_02]: I say just imagine you're going to your blue job whatever you do your boss filmed it.
35:42
[SPEAKER_02]: Right, and then after work, you go take a fucking shower and then you go go watch the your day with your fucking bones Right, right, right, right, right, do you want that no, it's all this fun to say that yeah Well, I was just a saint just because we had a hundred good one on another a name guy
36:03
[SPEAKER_05]: And Hunter said his wife would get stressed out because she was a teacher and once a year an principal would sit in the back of the room while she had the kids and she would get all split stressed out for a week because you know that was every fucking day of my life for the last 15 years is that I was judged by my boss in front of my peers every day and if I made a mistake they ran it over and over and over again you could wouldn't have to do that.
36:26
[SPEAKER_03]: It's, it's, well, let's talk about that, man, because while we're into this stuff, we might as well talk about it, right?
36:32
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, sure.
36:33
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, like a, you know, a few years ago, you added the title of author to your resume, with the release of your book, Big Henson Politics by the best player that don't always play.
36:41
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, talk about some of the things that inspired you to write the book in, and how, how, how has the reception of your book been so far?
36:49
[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go on over really well, man, you know, especially with people who play.
36:54
[SPEAKER_02]: And because there's a lot of guys that went through the political side of, you know, even yourself, you know, you, you had to, you had to walk that line, you know, and, but it, it's, and that's why I did it to, to draw the parallel between them seeing you in a Mercedes-Benz and, you know, thinking you got the life, but then,
37:21
[SPEAKER_02]: You get to work, you get that red dot put on your eyes.
37:24
[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I'm saying, that's kind of why I did it and it's a lot of fun.
37:30
[SPEAKER_02]: And then if you get into it, I get all the way into the coaching trees and how that works.
37:37
[SPEAKER_02]: And how that, you know, like the San Francisco coaching tree, the BellaChat coaching tree, like what's what's
37:47
[SPEAKER_02]: most of the bellachet coaching tree except for two people of garbage right now, you know, the time just go coaching tree they're done okay barely hanging on, you know, and uh and then you still got the big tunna coaching tree, you know, and that's what I said, you know, and that's what I said, if you get trashed about big tunna, you get the job, you're going to have work, if you can play,
38:17
[SPEAKER_02]: You know don't give me started don't get me started on him.
38:21
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's that's I See we don't talk enough about the guys have don't like going talk about the guy guilty is charge Well, no, I'll just I'll just say said we need to talk about that So and then like when I'm talking about being recorded just can tell you the Dan
38:45
[SPEAKER_02]: And I wish I could have got all this stuff, man, because damn would come off the field and fucking curse Gary out.
38:52
[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, Gary, this run shit is not working.
38:57
[SPEAKER_02]: Put me in the gun and let me go to work.
39:00
[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I'm saying?
39:01
[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
39:02
[SPEAKER_02]: You can go imagine, damn, starting out in the gun with all the shit that he did.
39:07
[SPEAKER_02]: Coming back from getting in the gun right if we started out with Jews and Fred and all those guys big Eric Green We should have started out in it, but then gone right away You know, I mean I'm not going to get any story Yeah, they all seem to go the same way Yep, yep, yeah, but we're not here, but but you know
39:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Now, and, you know, I don't know how this goes over, but for me personally, that's 17 years of dance career.
39:41
[SPEAKER_02]: He was the office coordinator, right?
39:43
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
39:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Come on.
39:44
[SPEAKER_02]: You can't get one other person to come in with some plays or just say, hey, fuck it down, we're going, we're going, we're going.
39:53
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, this is GoPro.
39:55
[SPEAKER_02]: We're going on your arms, shit, you know?
39:58
[SPEAKER_04]: So, I don't know.
40:00
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, boo, man.
40:02
[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, we what could have been with us, man.
40:04
[SPEAKER_03]: It's fucking crazy, bro.
40:06
[SPEAKER_03]: It really is.
40:06
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah.
40:07
[SPEAKER_03]: And what should have been?
40:08
[SPEAKER_03]: I could have been what should have been with us.
40:10
[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, we had we four and all.
40:13
[SPEAKER_03]: And juice them over there.
40:14
[SPEAKER_02]: I ain't got them got them ball yet.
40:18
[SPEAKER_02]: Not juice.
40:20
[SPEAKER_02]: I do think they really do that.
40:21
[SPEAKER_02]: Just kept it.
40:22
[SPEAKER_03]: What's for an over?
40:26
[SPEAKER_03]: I know.
40:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we've been getting a little bit of getting a little bit of getting a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of
40:50
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't understand it's what you put them first now.
40:55
[SPEAKER_03]: He's gather man.
40:56
[SPEAKER_03]: That's what happened there first round.
40:58
[SPEAKER_03]: You know first round is a bunch of divas.
41:00
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, they're bunch of bunch of damn divas, man, but you know what, but you know what people don't understand and now this is the something that Gary Steven said and I'm like, oh, it made me think he's like, what's all that shit?
41:14
[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, I want people that want the fucking ball
41:18
[SPEAKER_02]: Cause when you get your shot, you're gonna make the play.
41:22
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
41:22
[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
41:23
[SPEAKER_02]: It's a fine line, right?
41:24
[SPEAKER_05]: It's a fine line between the law.
41:25
[SPEAKER_05]: Just like you hear about Larry Bird or Michael Jordan or whoever that you want the guy who wants to rock in his hands with three seconds to go in your down by two like you want that guy but at the same time you don't want that guy to be that to the detriment of kind of the overall goal.
41:41
[SPEAKER_05]: So that's the fine line.
41:43
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
41:43
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
41:44
[SPEAKER_05]: But I'll let the receiver talk.
41:46
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
41:51
[SPEAKER_02]: Not to go back to this, you know, because this is the same, but I brought some hot brownies on the plane one time.
42:03
[SPEAKER_05]: That's interesting, hot because they were in the microwave.
42:06
[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
42:21
[SPEAKER_02]: I think we lost that game.
42:22
[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe we're here.
42:24
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to step through the whole game, right?
42:27
[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
42:43
[SPEAKER_05]: So you didn't tell people you just gave these out like mama cook some some bait.
42:47
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my god, bull right right I'm just you know I didn't went for it clearly got it really got Hey, I didn't get one no, no, I wouldn't I wouldn't you know I would you know I didn't roll you know I didn't go that route
43:12
[SPEAKER_02]: when the toy was when I was when when Troy was there with me Troy asked me for a ride home one day I was like oh yeah man you been riding on the street Troy got in my car I don't know boy he's got in there because I lit up so he's quiet on the ride home so I said that's so I'm in the locker room
43:48
[SPEAKER_02]: Let's try draining which Troy Troy dream.
43:51
[SPEAKER_02]: No, no.
43:52
[SPEAKER_02]: Troy the quarterback Vincent.
43:54
[SPEAKER_02]: Troy Vincent.
43:55
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
43:56
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, man.
43:58
[SPEAKER_03]: Contact contact.
44:00
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
44:01
[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to let you get out of here, man real quick before we wrap things up, man.
44:07
[SPEAKER_03]: We always liked it.
44:08
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, we got a couple of fun things we do at the end of every episode.
44:18
[SPEAKER_03]: And by the time you got to Miami, you rock 49 in your jersey.
44:22
[SPEAKER_03]: What's the story behind your numbers?
44:24
[SPEAKER_02]: 20 was all the way back to high school.
44:27
[SPEAKER_02]: I couldn't wear 20, my freshman year at NM, I was 32.
44:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Because a singer had 20 tonne of guns.
44:35
[SPEAKER_02]: All right, he bads to you.
44:37
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, they put us with seniors on the road to just the rope, teachers the way, you know what I mean?
44:43
[SPEAKER_02]: At NM.
44:43
[SPEAKER_02]: So, um,
44:45
[SPEAKER_02]: He was my guy and he had 20.
44:49
[SPEAKER_02]: So I had to wear 32.
44:49
[SPEAKER_02]: Which goes back to the original juice.
44:54
[SPEAKER_02]: You know it, because now I don't know if y'all know this, but I was born in Germany.
44:59
[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't know that.
45:00
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I was born in Germany and the only games that I would see was Buffalo over there.
45:08
[SPEAKER_02]: We had like two towns.
45:09
[SPEAKER_02]: Buffalo, huh?
45:10
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so I would see the juice.
45:13
[SPEAKER_02]: That was my favorite player.
45:15
[SPEAKER_05]: So if you think of that time period, that was America is sticking the middle finger up to Germany by sending them bills games.
45:21
[SPEAKER_02]: That's what that was right.
45:27
[SPEAKER_02]: I had 32 and 20 in high school, 32, my freshman year then I got 20 by and then.
45:36
[SPEAKER_02]: When I went to Dallas, I had 42.
45:39
[SPEAKER_02]: So my last two years it was just garbage numbers, you know, 40 to 49, you know, that's why I get Tony the damn brownies, but then, you know, I did have 20 right before Jimmy cut me.
45:58
[SPEAKER_02]: I got 20 back, you know, but this is this is what people don't understand.
46:03
[SPEAKER_02]: If you don't retire
46:10
[SPEAKER_02]: It's hard.
46:10
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
46:11
[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
46:12
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
46:13
[SPEAKER_02]: It makes sense.
46:13
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, that's what your name is.
46:14
[SPEAKER_05]: And we talk about that from marketing perspective with guys like you're a former dolphin.
46:19
[SPEAKER_05]: You have a look.
46:20
[SPEAKER_05]: Joe said, I'm not doing what you think I normally do.
46:23
[SPEAKER_05]: Joe's had this amazing career here led the league in receptions two time team MVP.
46:28
[SPEAKER_05]: So he's going to be beloved whether he lived here, whether he moved back to Cleveland.
46:31
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
46:31
[SPEAKER_05]: but but a lot of guys have been able to build businesses and maximize opportunities because they're always former Miami Dolphins, even your locally, you know, so yeah, that makes sense.
46:42
[SPEAKER_05]: That makes sense when you're saying that.
46:43
[SPEAKER_05]: It's for sure.
46:44
[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
46:45
[SPEAKER_05]: One last segment here, bull, and then we will let you get back into writing your second book or whatever you got planned for the rest of the day.
46:51
[SPEAKER_05]: This final segment is called the Fish Tank Two Minute Drill.
46:55
[SPEAKER_05]: Now, I know as a
46:58
[SPEAKER_05]: two minute drills you were in on in the NFL.
47:01
[SPEAKER_05]: But I believe you can get it figured out as an old school vet.
47:04
[SPEAKER_05]: We're putting two minutes up on the clock.
47:06
[SPEAKER_05]: We've got a few fast-paced questions.
47:08
[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to throw them at you.
47:10
[SPEAKER_05]: And we'll see if you can take this thing across the end zone.
47:12
[SPEAKER_05]: Sound good?
47:13
[SPEAKER_04]: Got it.
47:14
[SPEAKER_03]: All right, do you ready?
47:16
[SPEAKER_03]: You're up.
47:17
[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
47:17
[SPEAKER_03]: You played with three Hall of Fame quarterbacks, Brett Farve, Troy, 8 minutes, of course, damn arena here in Miami.
47:25
[SPEAKER_03]: Rate them one to three, one being the best.
47:30
[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, Dan, Eggman Farve.
47:37
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
47:37
[SPEAKER_02]: Why?
47:38
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, then did more with less.
47:41
[SPEAKER_02]: Eggman had all the two, you know, you had all the tools and, you know, the line, the wall, and all the rest of, and then Farb was just a gunslinger man, you know.
47:53
[SPEAKER_05]: That'll work.
47:54
[SPEAKER_05]: All right, moving on to those are quarterbacks.
47:56
[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to move on to coaches.
47:57
[SPEAKER_05]: You've been around some legendary coaches.
47:59
[SPEAKER_05]: Obviously, not the one that was your first in Tampa.
48:01
[SPEAKER_05]: If you've been around some legendary coaches in your journey from Shula to Jimmy Barry Switzer, my home grid, and you even mentioned Sam, why should one point in Tampa?
48:09
[SPEAKER_05]: Which of them would most likely pick up a copy of big hits and politics and read it covered a couple?
48:15
[SPEAKER_02]: Question.
48:17
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
48:18
[SPEAKER_02]: There it is.
48:20
[SPEAKER_02]: There it is.
48:21
[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
48:21
[SPEAKER_02]: Switch to told us on rookie night real quick.
48:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I was rookie night switch to told us this is this is kind of guy was.
48:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Switch to told us on rookie night and Dallas, he's like, look, there's nobody going to be more drunk than I am tonight.
48:42
[SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm.
48:43
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I'm saying?
48:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
48:45
[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
48:45
[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
48:45
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
48:46
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
48:46
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
48:46
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
48:46
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
48:46
[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
48:47
[SPEAKER_03]: You want to appear on a podcast with Houston rap with Houston rap legends, the ghetto boys, right?
48:54
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
48:54
[SPEAKER_03]: What's your favorite ghetto boys song?
48:57
[SPEAKER_03]: The hand of the day body.
49:00
[SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm.
49:01
[SPEAKER_03]: Give me a give me a bar.
49:03
[SPEAKER_02]: It's so funny because the people doing a TikTok.
49:08
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's about, you know, like,
49:13
[SPEAKER_02]: And they stride up on the floor by the, by the, I suppose they may say you kind of feel your body, but you still strong.
49:21
[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
49:21
[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
49:21
[SPEAKER_02]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
49:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Get old boys.
49:34
[SPEAKER_05]: They got a lot of beef going on there, right?
49:36
[SPEAKER_05]: They got a really deep.
49:37
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, no, I think they let that go, man.
49:39
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm kind of good.
49:40
[SPEAKER_02]: I was glad that I was able to do that while they were together though.
49:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, absolutely.
49:45
[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
49:46
[SPEAKER_05]: And Bushwick was still, he was still, he wasn't on the show, but he was still alive at that point, right?
49:52
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah.
49:53
[SPEAKER_05]: got it.
49:54
[SPEAKER_05]: Cool.
49:54
[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
49:54
[SPEAKER_05]: We kicked this thing off with a shirtless iso and Zach Thomas.
49:57
[SPEAKER_05]: If you had been riding shotgun, which ode is not convinced that you weren't.
50:01
[SPEAKER_05]: But if you had been riding shotgun in that convertible, Westoff at the wheel, the other three guys ripped their shirt off does Robert Bull Wilson take his shirt off as well.
50:11
[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
50:12
[SPEAKER_05]: There it is.
50:13
[SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely.
50:14
[SPEAKER_05]: I think that's a touchdown.
50:16
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
50:16
[SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely.
50:17
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, man.
50:19
[SPEAKER_05]: Too good.
50:19
[SPEAKER_05]: That's true.
50:20
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, this was a long time coming, man.
50:22
[SPEAKER_05]: We're sorry that you had a weight.
50:23
[SPEAKER_05]: But we appreciate that you came in here and delivered the way we expected you to.
50:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I appreciate it, man.
50:30
[SPEAKER_02]: Hopefully y'all have me back.
50:32
[SPEAKER_03]: You're Sarah.
50:33
[SPEAKER_03]: So good man.
50:34
[SPEAKER_03]: That was great.
50:34
[SPEAKER_03]: Bull man.
50:35
[SPEAKER_03]: That was a great.
50:36
[SPEAKER_03]: Finally.
50:37
[SPEAKER_03]: Now that we can do.
50:38
[SPEAKER_03]: Now that we can do our own damn thing.
50:40
[SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
50:41
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
50:41
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
50:42
[SPEAKER_05]: That's right.
50:43
[SPEAKER_05]: No doubt a band.
50:45
[SPEAKER_02]: Tell all the fellows that said hello man.
50:46
[SPEAKER_02]: Draw in.
50:48
[SPEAKER_02]: Jason Taylor and I'll look down and tell him not to let alone definitely.
50:52
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I don't listen to the show.
50:53
[SPEAKER_05]: Exactly.
50:54
[SPEAKER_05]: It listens to every episode.
50:55
[SPEAKER_05]: He can't wait for this one.
50:56
[SPEAKER_05]: JT, especially when he's recruiting.
50:58
[SPEAKER_05]: He listens to a bunch of this stuff.
50:59
[SPEAKER_05]: A lot of guys listen to the show.
51:01
[SPEAKER_05]: So you just told him which is great.
51:02
[SPEAKER_05]: But I've already been texting people.
51:04
[SPEAKER_05]: I texted Tony.
51:05
[SPEAKER_05]: I was about the, uh, about the brownies.
51:08
[SPEAKER_05]: He said, this is a quote.
51:11
