Latest / The Mark Simone Show / Hour 2: Paul McCartney did what?
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Mister New York marks them all.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Kevin d w Alarm, Hey, it's almost Friday. It's Thursday.
- 0:09Speaker 2: I called it Little Friday, but we got a lot
- 0:11Speaker 2: to get to. This hour, President Trump and President She
- 0:14Speaker 2: had their meeting. Apparently it was two hours long, quite involved.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Two hours long. Taiwan did come up. The President has
- 0:24Speaker 2: warned she that you cannot cannot invade Taiwan. The time
- 0:30Speaker 2: difference is about twelve hours, so it's eleven o'clock at
- 0:32Speaker 2: night there, and it was quite a meeting. So now,
- 0:38Speaker 2: right after the meeting, Sean Hannity did a full hour
- 0:41Speaker 2: interview with President Trump. He'll run it tonight on Hannity,
- 0:44Speaker 2: so you'll get to see him go over it in detail.
- 0:47Speaker 2: But it looks like they called the meeting extremely productive.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Now you might be noticing some have that President Trump
- 0:54Speaker 2: for the last two days, there's been no posting from him,
- 0:57Speaker 2: usually on truth Social he's posting every two minutes about everything.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Nothing for two days. The reason is he doesn't have
- 1:05Speaker 2: his phone there, he doesn't have his computer there. Because
- 1:09Speaker 2: when you go to China, the surveillance is unbelievable, and
- 1:12Speaker 2: not only surveil you, they will put things into your phone.
- 1:16Speaker 2: They will embed stuff in your phone while you're there.
- 1:20Speaker 2: If you're on anything in cell service Internet, they'll be
- 1:23Speaker 2: able to get into your phone embed all kinds of
- 1:25Speaker 2: secret stuff in there. So you can't bring your own
- 1:28Speaker 2: phone or your own computer. You got to bring a
- 1:30Speaker 2: burner phone that you're going to throw away when you leave,
- 1:33Speaker 2: even if you're the president of the United States. There's
- 1:35Speaker 2: no way around that. So every device he has has
- 1:39Speaker 2: been taken and locked up in Washington. So he's in China,
- 1:44Speaker 2: I must be killing him for two days without a
- 1:46Speaker 2: phone that he could tweet on truth, social on or
- 1:49Speaker 2: do anything on. And you can't really be very careful
- 1:52Speaker 2: there because wherever you are, any hotel room, any place
- 1:56Speaker 2: it's bugged, there's microphones everywhere. So he's got to be
- 2:00Speaker 2: very very careful about what he says. Now the president
- 2:03Speaker 2: knows all this, so possibly he's using those microphones to
- 2:08Speaker 2: plant false stories with them, give them false information, so
- 2:12Speaker 2: you might deliberately say things in your hotel room to
- 2:14Speaker 2: somebody that aren't true. But that's why no no online
- 2:20Speaker 2: presence from Donald Trump in the last two days. Rand Paul,
- 2:25Speaker 2: his son, was not you know, he's just a kid,
- 2:28Speaker 2: but the son went into a ridiculous anti semitic, anti
- 2:32Speaker 2: gay tantrum in a in a bar, and it's just awful.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Rand Paul has not commented on it. Maybe he should
- 2:42Speaker 2: say something, but he hasn't. It's his kid. Nobody wants
- 2:45Speaker 2: to pick on the kids. So although he's got to
- 2:48Speaker 2: explain this, he's got to explain what that, what the
- 2:51Speaker 2: hell that was all about. Other than that, Rand Paul
- 2:55Speaker 2: has been working on. You know, he was the first
- 2:57Speaker 2: one to really stand up to Fauci. Anthony Fauci in
- 3:01Speaker 2: the pandemic became a hero instantly. But you remember in
- 3:04Speaker 2: the lockdown in the pandemic, everybody was locked up and terrified,
- 3:09Speaker 2: so you were so scared and you couldn't go out,
- 3:10Speaker 2: and you could see you'd glued to the TV. And
- 3:13Speaker 2: there was Anthony Fauci, who looked like an old fashioned,
- 3:18Speaker 2: of great old family doctor, the kind of doctor that
- 3:21Speaker 2: made the house calls, and he just looked like it.
- 3:22Speaker 2: He wasn't. Underneath he was a dirty DC politician. And
- 3:27Speaker 2: during that lockdown, we were so scared. We were watching
- 3:29Speaker 2: Andrew Cuomo do his daily press conference, his daily and
- 3:33Speaker 2: it caught on. It became huge. It was like the
- 3:37Speaker 2: number one show on television. Everybody watching Andrew Cuomo for
- 3:40Speaker 2: an hour a day. He'd hold a court and tell stories,
- 3:43Speaker 2: and he became like this TV hero. Now, it turned
- 3:47Speaker 2: out later he was a complete screw up. He killed
- 3:50Speaker 2: people with his ridiculous nursing home decision. And if you
- 3:54Speaker 2: go back and look at what he was doing, was
- 3:55Speaker 2: you didn't use the hospital ship when it was sent here.
- 3:58Speaker 2: He initially said he would refuse the vaccines because they
- 4:01Speaker 2: were from Trump. I mean, he was crazy, but he
- 4:05Speaker 2: was again. During the lockdown, everybody sat there and watched him,
- 4:09Speaker 2: and they loved his press conferences. Soon as the lockdown
- 4:11Speaker 2: was over and you were allowed out, nobody watched his
- 4:13Speaker 2: press conferences anymore, and he eventually stopped them. Same thing
- 4:17Speaker 2: with Fauci. We go back and review. Now, Fauci was
- 4:20Speaker 2: wrong about everything. He was a disaster. Everything he said
- 4:25Speaker 2: was wrong. Remember he was on television and radio in
- 4:28Speaker 2: the early days saying, don't worry, the virus will not
- 4:30Speaker 2: come here. We have nothing to worry about. He was
- 4:32Speaker 2: wrong about that. He got everything wrong. Remember he set
- 4:35Speaker 2: up and spent millions millions of fortune doing contact tracing,
- 4:43Speaker 2: and then they had to explain to him, you can't
- 4:45Speaker 2: do that with an airborne virus. That's only with something
- 4:47Speaker 2: like AIDS. He had done it during AIDS, so he
- 4:50Speaker 2: brought it back and they had explained to him it
- 4:52Speaker 2: has to be for something like AIDS where it's transmitted
- 4:55Speaker 2: by contact. Then when somebody has it, you find out
- 4:58Speaker 2: everybody they had sex with her, everybody had contact with
- 5:02Speaker 2: But you can't do it with an airborne virus. If
- 5:04Speaker 2: the guy went into a drug store and there were
- 5:06Speaker 2: eighty six people in there, you can't. It's impossible. So
- 5:10Speaker 2: he had to stop doing that. But Rand Paul has
- 5:13Speaker 2: been going after him and Fauci. It looks like he
- 5:15Speaker 2: lied under oath. He's the guy that financed the lab
- 5:18Speaker 2: and created the virus. He claimed he didn't they had
- 5:21Speaker 2: nothing to do with all that. Well he did. He
- 5:23Speaker 2: financed it. He had a middleman launder the money, but
- 5:26Speaker 2: he did finance that lab. Rand Paul now going after him.
- 5:30Speaker 3: The COVID nineteen pandemic was one of the most consequential
- 5:33Speaker 3: events of our lifetime, and to this day, the American
- 5:36Speaker 3: people have never received a full accounting of where it
- 5:39Speaker 3: came from, what our government knew, and why they had
- 5:42Speaker 3: to fight their own government to find out.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Yeah, he'll go after that, wormy little Fauci.
- 5:47Speaker 3: During COVID intelligence, officials arranged for doctor Fauci to review
- 5:52Speaker 3: highly classified intelligence assessments that could not even be sent
- 5:56Speaker 3: outside the White House complex. But how can Anthony Fauci
- 6:00Speaker 3: actively comment on a discussion of COVID origins when he
- 6:04Speaker 3: approved the very funding that may have caused the pandemic virus?
- 6:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean we know it came from that lab,
- 6:10Speaker 2: and he funded it.
- 6:11Speaker 3: From the outset of the pandemic. Doctor Fauci shaped the
- 6:15Speaker 3: conclusions dozens of times. He referred to the idea that
- 6:19Speaker 3: the pandemic originating in the lab was a conspiracy, that
- 6:23Speaker 3: it was a conspiracy theory. Doctor Vauci convened the now
- 6:26Speaker 3: infamous February first, twenty twenty call. Some scientists on that
- 6:31Speaker 3: call privately raised serious concerns about a laboratory origin. Yet ironically,
- 6:37Speaker 3: those same scientists later co authored the Proximal Origin paper,
- 6:41Speaker 3: which publicly dismissed the lab league hypothesis.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Yeah, so, I mean, total cover up, absolutely ridiculous, total
- 6:49Speaker 2: wormy Fauci and the government people you can't trust.
- 6:52Speaker 3: The question is not whether the government may consult experts.
- 6:56Speaker 3: The question is whether those experts were independent, whether inflicts
- 7:00Speaker 3: were disclosed, whether dissenting views were preserved, whether the lab
- 7:05Speaker 3: league possibility was fairly evaluated, and whether Congress and the
- 7:09Speaker 3: American people received the truth or a curated result.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Hey, let's go back to Cash Patel. I love those hearings.
- 7:17Speaker 2: So you know, they they make up these fake narratives
- 7:21Speaker 2: and then they just drill them in everybody's head. Cash
- 7:23Speaker 2: Patel is drinking. He's drunk all the time. He's got
- 7:26Speaker 2: a drinking problem. He's always out drinking, drinking. So the
- 7:29Speaker 2: guy questioning him, Van Holland in Congress, has a seven
- 7:33Speaker 2: thousand dollars bar tab. It's in one day. You gotta remember.
- 7:36Speaker 2: You go after Cash Ptel. He's the FBI director, So
- 7:41Speaker 2: he did some investigating. He found this guy's bar tab.
- 7:44Speaker 2: He got the receipts, he got witnesses, he got the
- 7:46Speaker 2: whole thing. He can document it. But Van Holland keeps
- 7:49Speaker 2: denying it. While he's trying to accuse Patel of drinking.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Patel keeps firing back.
- 7:54Speaker 4: Not lied to Congress.
- 7:55Speaker 5: I didn't ask that to lie to Congress, as you do.
- 7:57Speaker 5: You I'm not testifying here, sir, and I don't.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Why maybe the next time you run up a seven
- 8:01Speaker 4: thousand dollars bardsab we can talk about it.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Well, see, there you go whine again.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Do you suggest the report you suggested it was public
- 8:09Speaker 3: It wasn't public money, as you know, that was for
- 8:11Speaker 3: a fifty members left part.
- 8:13Speaker 2: So it was a seven thousand dollars bards app. Yeah.
- 8:16Speaker 2: So you gotta give this Democrats credit. They're the most hypocritical, lying, thieving,
- 8:22Speaker 2: but they're great in hearings. They just beat up anybody
- 8:25Speaker 2: in a hearing. Republicans never good at hearings. They don't
- 8:29Speaker 2: know how to do it right. Hey, the UK government,
- 8:32Speaker 2: you know, the Britain has been run by this crazy
- 8:35Speaker 2: mom danni ish left wing socialist crazy bunch for a while.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Now looks like it's going to turn around. These things
- 8:41Speaker 2: go in cycles, you know. It goes to the left
- 8:45Speaker 2: and then more to the left and more to the left,
- 8:46Speaker 2: and then all of a sudden it turns around one day.
- 8:49Speaker 2: It looks like that's happening in Great Britain election. Said,
- 8:52Speaker 2: not for a while. But the internal polling, which is
- 8:56Speaker 2: very important, the internal polling. Nigel Fara and his bunch.
- 9:00Speaker 2: It looks like they will take over the government easily
- 9:03Speaker 2: in the real pulling the internal polling, they'd asked five
- 9:07Speaker 2: cabinet ministers over one hundred and ten labor MPs in
- 9:11Speaker 2: the election. So this is very important for us because
- 9:14Speaker 2: if that happens in Great Britain and they overthrow that
- 9:19Speaker 2: government and go more go to Conservatives, whatever happens in
- 9:22Speaker 2: Britain usually happens here a year later. British elections usually
- 9:26Speaker 2: predict our presidential election. So if it's going to happen there,
- 9:29Speaker 2: means it'll happen here at some point. Hey, people ask
- 9:34Speaker 2: me all the time about the Drudge Report. What happened
- 9:36Speaker 2: to the Drudge Report? It's like the most left wing
- 9:39Speaker 2: partisan woke. It's like Stephen Colbert is writing it. What
- 9:43Speaker 2: happened to Drudge? Well, the reason the Drudge Report is
- 9:46Speaker 2: so bad, Mac Drudge is long gone. He's not there anymore.
- 9:48Speaker 2: It's not Matt Drudge. Somebody bought it, bought the name,
- 9:52Speaker 2: bought the whole thing. It's being run by left wing kook.
- 9:54Speaker 2: So yeah, I mean you can't read it anymore. When
- 9:56Speaker 2: you do, it's just the most slanted nonsense. Here's a
- 10:01Speaker 2: look at the headline here, tensions in Beijing. You know,
- 10:04Speaker 2: if you watch the President and President sheet, looks like
- 10:08Speaker 2: looks they've got a friendship like nobody's ever had with China.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Looks like he's doing better with China than anybody's ever
- 10:14Speaker 2: But if you look at the Drudge headline tensions, tensions
- 10:16Speaker 2: in Beijing, everything is wrong. Hey Paul McCartney, it's pretty interesting. McCartney,
- 10:23Speaker 2: who's usually the nicest celebrity, you know, the most genial,
- 10:28Speaker 2: nice to the fans. McCartney telling fans put your phone away,
- 10:33Speaker 2: Sir Paul says, stop taking photos. And you know, when
- 10:37Speaker 2: people see you, they always want to take a photo.
- 10:40Speaker 2: And he said that if he sees a fan reaching
- 10:42Speaker 2: for the phone, he takes the radical step of asking
- 10:46Speaker 2: them to put it away. No phone, Sorry, I don't
- 10:50Speaker 2: do pictures. Now this is a problem because in the
- 10:55Speaker 2: old days you had to sign an autograph. Somebody, a
- 10:57Speaker 2: fan would come up to you. They'd ask for your autographs,
- 10:59Speaker 2: so you'd sign in an autograph. Well that stopped years ago.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Now everybody wants a selfie. Now. The problem is they
- 11:08Speaker 2: usually take the selfie. I've had this happen to me
- 11:11Speaker 2: a few times. They take it real quick. They don't
- 11:14Speaker 2: know how to take it right, and you look horrible.
- 11:16Speaker 2: You'll look fat. If they face is crooked, you don't
- 11:19Speaker 2: look and then they post it. So you go online
- 11:23Speaker 2: you see there's hundreds of horrible pictures of you. So
- 11:25Speaker 2: if it's happening to me, imagine what Paul McCartney goes
- 11:28Speaker 2: through with these selfies. They're all horrible. You know. The
- 11:31Speaker 2: ABC News anchor David Muir. I've watched him do that.
- 11:35Speaker 2: He's great. If you want a selfie with him, he'll
- 11:37Speaker 2: say give me your phone and he'll take it because
- 11:40Speaker 2: he's worked on it. He's perfected exactly what angle, exactly
- 11:44Speaker 2: how high to hold them, so it's a perfect selfie
- 11:47Speaker 2: of him. But McCartney will telefan sorry, I don't do
- 11:51Speaker 2: pictures now. This is the other problem. In the old
- 11:53Speaker 2: days of autographs, there were certain celebrities Larry Hagman, Paul
- 11:57Speaker 2: Newman was like this. You would not sign an autograph
- 12:01Speaker 2: and they would I used to go out with Paul
- 12:03Speaker 2: Newman and he would argue with somebody for twenty minutes,
- 12:07Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I don't sign up. Well, can't you just
- 12:09Speaker 2: say no, I'm sorry? And getting the whole discussion for
- 12:11Speaker 2: twenty minutes, and then you'd leave and I'd say, what
- 12:15Speaker 2: if you had signed it would take the twenty seconds.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Why do you want to spend twenty minutes with him?
- 12:18Speaker 2: It's the principal. If you sign one, you gotta sign
- 12:21Speaker 2: them all. You can't sign one, you cannot even start.
- 12:23Speaker 2: So apparently McCartney is now doing this with photos. But
- 12:28Speaker 2: let's say you met Paul McCartney. Let's say somehow you're
- 12:30Speaker 2: standing there with Paul McCartney. Wouldn't you love to have
- 12:33Speaker 2: a picture of it? I mean you could run around
- 12:35Speaker 2: say hey, I met Paul McCartney, but you got to
- 12:39Speaker 2: have that picture. I mean, can you imagine what that
- 12:41Speaker 2: would mean to post that on your Instagram? TikTok, look
- 12:44Speaker 2: at me, here's me and Paul McCartney. So I don't
- 12:46Speaker 2: think he realizes it's kind of cruel to the fan.
- 12:51Speaker 2: If the fan is there wants a picture with him,
- 12:53Speaker 2: it'd be like a cherished thing for this fan. Give
- 12:56Speaker 2: it to him. Why not? I know you might look
- 12:58Speaker 2: bad in the picture, but we all know what Paul
- 13:01Speaker 2: McCartney looks like. It won't it won't matter. So a
- 13:03Speaker 2: little crazy, Hey, here's a very scary story. This is frightening.
- 13:08Speaker 2: They're now talking about they have the speed cameras that
- 13:12Speaker 2: they put up, Like there's one over here on fifty
- 13:14Speaker 2: seventh Street by ninth or tenth alven, there's a speed
- 13:16Speaker 2: camera there. Speed limits twenty five. All right, Sometimes you're
- 13:20Speaker 2: going thirty two. I mean, it happens, it's no big deal.
- 13:23Speaker 2: But the speed camera, you get the ticket in the mail.
- 13:26Speaker 2: You know, like around Roosevelt Field, the Old Country Road,
- 13:29Speaker 2: at that light, there's a red camera light. They they're
- 13:33Speaker 2: now talking about in Connecticut, they're talking about putting speed
- 13:36Speaker 2: cameras on the highways. The highways. Now, I know the
- 13:39Speaker 2: speed limits fifty five. Nobody goes fifty five. You're not
- 13:43Speaker 2: really gonna go fifty five. If there's no cops around,
- 13:45Speaker 2: you're going sixty five. It's perfectly normal. It's perfectly fine.
- 13:49Speaker 2: These speed cameras. Now, they say they're just going to
- 13:52Speaker 2: put them in work zones. But here's the problem. You know,
- 13:55Speaker 2: when it says work up ahead, work zone speed limit
- 13:58Speaker 2: fifty five, work zone speed limit thirty five, you're not
- 14:02Speaker 2: really gonna slow down at thirty five. Nobody really does.
- 14:05Speaker 2: So now you're going to get tickets left and right
- 14:07Speaker 2: for these speeds. And if it works, which it probably will,
- 14:12Speaker 2: they'll start putting them all over the highway. You know
- 14:14Speaker 2: you used to. You're driving on the Hutch, you're driving
- 14:18Speaker 2: on ninety five, you're driving on the a LI. You
- 14:20Speaker 2: have to wha if you're a regular driver there, you
- 14:21Speaker 2: know where the cops are. Hey, they're always between those
- 14:24Speaker 2: two exits, and they're always around this curve here. They
- 14:29Speaker 2: always hide behind that billboard. You know where they are,
- 14:32Speaker 2: and you can slow down. But if they put these
- 14:34Speaker 2: speed cameras in, you're gonna have to go fifty five
- 14:38Speaker 2: forever everywhere. This is going to be disaster. You can't
- 14:41Speaker 2: drive if they do this. They got to raise the
- 14:44Speaker 2: speed limit back up to sixty five. At least they
- 14:47Speaker 2: got to do that. You know, it was always sixty
- 14:49Speaker 2: five everywhere, And the only reason they lowered it was
- 14:52Speaker 2: during the gas shortage, the oil shortage in the late seventies,
- 14:56Speaker 2: and it was done to save fuel. It was not
- 14:59Speaker 2: done for sp beating or safety. It was only done
- 15:02Speaker 2: to save fuel during the gas crisis of seventy nine.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Now they'll claim that over the years since they did it,
- 15:08Speaker 2: they research shows accidents are down, but these speed cameras
- 15:13Speaker 2: everywhere are gonna be disaster disaster. Nobody will ever be
- 15:17Speaker 2: able to go over fifty five. You do it for
- 15:19Speaker 2: one second, you'll get the ticket in the mail the
- 15:21Speaker 2: next day. It's terrible. We got to stop this. Hey,
- 15:24Speaker 2: we'll take some calls next. Eight hundred three two one
- 15:27Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two
- 15:31Speaker 2: one zero seven ten.
- 15:34Speaker 6: Get instant access to Mark by setting a pre set
- 15:38Speaker 6: in the iHeartRadio app for his.
- 15:39Speaker 4: Live show and his podcast.
- 15:42Speaker 6: Now back to the Mark Simone show on woor.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one
- 15:52Speaker 2: to zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to
- 15:55Speaker 2: Marine in New York, Marene, how you doing?
- 15:58Speaker 7: Good morning? Mark? Yes, Marie, I just wanted to tell
- 16:03Speaker 7: you that I'm really exciting you're what, putting some kind
- 16:07Speaker 7: of camera and monitoring and I hot them right because
- 16:12Speaker 7: it's like the wild West out there.
- 16:15Speaker 2: So you want to speak on that road? Yeah, your
- 16:18Speaker 2: phone is cutting out though, call us back. Let's go
- 16:20Speaker 2: to Bob in Connecticut. Bob, how you doing.
- 16:25Speaker 4: Okay?
- 16:25Speaker 1: Mark?
- 16:26Speaker 6: But I get aggravated. I hear on the radio TV
- 16:31Speaker 6: they called this that disease that helped destroy our economy. COVID,
- 16:37Speaker 6: it's not you call it what it is, it's faucy disease.
- 16:42Speaker 2: All right, Foster Brooks checking in with us. Thanks for calling.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Let's go to Dave in Chicago. Dave, how you doing,
- 16:50Speaker 2: Good morning, Mark.
- 16:51Speaker 5: I'm doing very well.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 16:52Speaker 8: Mark.
- 16:53Speaker 9: We know that recently Spirit Airlines has gone out of
- 16:56Speaker 9: business and seventeen thousand of their former employees are so
- 17:00Speaker 9: a couple of questions, if you please, who decides on
- 17:04Speaker 9: who gets their former routes and what happens to their
- 17:08Speaker 9: fleet of planes?
- 17:10Speaker 2: Well, I guess you can sell the planes. Other airlines
- 17:13Speaker 2: will take over those routes. I guess they got to
- 17:15Speaker 2: go to FAA and do all that stuff. Some of
- 17:18Speaker 2: the roots will just go away. But it's a good
- 17:20Speaker 2: question the employees. Hopefully they all find jobs soon. But
- 17:24Speaker 2: thanks for calling, Dave. Let's go to Stuart, South Carolina. Stuart,
- 17:29Speaker 2: how you doing, Hey, Mark Carroll.
- 17:31Speaker 10: You know we've discussed this before about these speed cameras
- 17:35Speaker 10: and light cameras. I believe they're completely unconstitutional. You know,
- 17:40Speaker 10: many many people that I stopped, I gave breaks to.
- 17:43Speaker 10: In South Carolina. We allow twelve to fifteen miles an
- 17:46Speaker 10: hour over. When you start just cart bloch sending people
- 17:52Speaker 10: speeding tickets for whatever they set over the speed limit,
- 17:55Speaker 10: that's just prommunistic. You have a right to face your accuser.
- 18:00Speaker 10: I've never seen a speed camera show up in court
- 18:03Speaker 10: to testify against the individual that was speeding. I cannot
- 18:08Speaker 10: believe at the part of my soul that anybody would
- 18:11Speaker 10: be in favor of these things. Well, it is completely outrageous.
- 18:14Speaker 10: It's just a revenue getter, is what it is.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Yeah, if you're one of these there are lawyers who
- 18:19Speaker 2: just do traffic tickets. But what they do. The only
- 18:21Speaker 2: thing you can do. You go into court. You argue
- 18:23Speaker 2: speed camera wasn't tested recently, wasn't calibrated correctly, that kind
- 18:28Speaker 2: of stuff. That's all you can argue the inspection of Yeah, I'd.
- 18:32Speaker 10: Just like to say that if I go into court,
- 18:34Speaker 10: if I'm running speeding tickets, I go into court. If
- 18:37Speaker 10: the people pay off, that's fine. If they show up,
- 18:40Speaker 10: I testify against them. And if people want to pay
- 18:43Speaker 10: off these speeding tickets to the state, you know, that's fine.
- 18:46Speaker 10: But how do you go into court and argue about
- 18:49Speaker 10: this with a camera You cannot do it. I think
- 18:53Speaker 10: they are completely unconstitutional. I'd like to know what speed
- 18:56Speaker 10: limit they're going to set these at. Over fifty five
- 19:00Speaker 10: you know, doing well? As you said, if they go
- 19:02Speaker 10: into work zones, they're going to expand these everywhere. And
- 19:06Speaker 10: it is just outrageous. At red lights when they have
- 19:09Speaker 10: these red light cameras, people are slamming on the brakes,
- 19:12Speaker 10: hitting people in the back. That they have a lot
- 19:15Speaker 10: of accidents at these things because people don't want tickets.
- 19:18Speaker 10: But then you sit behind that line and you're stuck
- 19:21Speaker 10: there because people keep going through the green, but when
- 19:24Speaker 10: it turns red, you can't go. If you do, you're
- 19:27Speaker 10: going to get a red light ticket. They're just an
- 19:30Speaker 10: abomination and I cannot believe anybody.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Replacing them.
- 19:37Speaker 10: Well, not really, we have a lot to do, but
- 19:40Speaker 10: it is Yeah, it is absolutely outrageous.
- 19:43Speaker 2: All right, great call, Stuart, thanks for calling. Let's go
- 19:45Speaker 2: to Mike and Yonkers. Mike, how you doing good?
- 19:48Speaker 1: Mark?
- 19:49Speaker 2: How are you good?
- 19:51Speaker 8: Just want to get back. You bought the uh the
- 19:53Speaker 8: speed cameras back up and also the license plates readers
- 19:56Speaker 8: from last week. They did an investigation. Ben Jordan, the
- 20:01Speaker 8: technologist in an investigation is in heaven flaws in these cameras,
- 20:05Speaker 8: and they're broadcad He was able to access live data
- 20:09Speaker 8: and archive data. It's being broadcast directly to the open
- 20:14Speaker 8: Internet without amy. You know, you don't need any security
- 20:16Speaker 8: to get to access it or anything like that. And
- 20:20Speaker 8: also it also has these cameras have artificial intelligence in
- 20:24Speaker 8: them where they can identify an individual and monitor their
- 20:27Speaker 8: movements as well.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good point. Thanks for calling you. We
- 20:31Speaker 2: mentioned that a couple of days ago. These cameras, these
- 20:34Speaker 2: speed cameras are not from the government. It's a private
- 20:37Speaker 2: company that makes them, installs them, and runs them. Government
- 20:40Speaker 2: hires this private company, and apparently they're collecting data on people.
- 20:44Speaker 2: You know, when the camera catches you speeding, that's one thing,
- 20:46Speaker 2: but it also gets your license number from that, it
- 20:49Speaker 2: can get your address, your name, it can start investigating
- 20:52Speaker 2: you all over the internet, selling your data. You know,
- 20:56Speaker 2: everybody assumes that's a government camera. It's a private company.
- 20:59Speaker 2: And other problems these speed cameras. Again, what are you
- 21:04Speaker 2: doing in court now? A lot of people to get
- 21:06Speaker 2: a ticket, not a lot of people, but some people
- 21:08Speaker 2: will hire an attorney. There's attorneys who are great at
- 21:11Speaker 2: speeding tickets. Now, who wants to spend thousands of dollars
- 21:14Speaker 2: for an attorney when you could just pay the ticket
- 21:16Speaker 2: for a couple of hundred. But you know, if you're
- 21:20Speaker 2: a rich guy and you've got a problem and you've
- 21:22Speaker 2: been caught a few times and you don't want to
- 21:25Speaker 2: lose your license or get it suspended, you hire one
- 21:28Speaker 2: of these attorneys and all they can do in the
- 21:30Speaker 2: court is argue that the camera wasn't properly installed. They'll
- 21:34Speaker 2: check the inspection stickers on it. It wasn't inspected recently,
- 21:37Speaker 2: it's not calibrated correct. You can do that kind of stuff.
- 21:40Speaker 2: But that's about it. Let's go to Mark and Staten
- 21:43Speaker 2: island Mark. How you doing? Yeah?
- 21:45Speaker 1: Hi, these speed cameras. If I lend my car to
- 21:48Speaker 1: somebody and they're speeding, who pays the insurance Poalcy?
- 21:52Speaker 2: Well, that's an interesting question, but I think it's you
- 21:57Speaker 2: because otherwise you have to go to court and prove it.
- 22:00Speaker 2: You'd have to go into a courtroom and argue about it.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, Also, the fifty five mile hole speed limb
- 22:06Speaker 1: with a federally mandated speed limit started with Nixon and
- 22:09Speaker 1: seventy three. It's response to the old PEC oil crisis.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Just want to say that for your record.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Yeah, so again, the fifty five mile in our speed
- 22:17Speaker 2: limit was only to save gas, only to save oil,
- 22:21Speaker 2: had nothing to do with speeding being dangerous or anything
- 22:24Speaker 2: like that. So put it back to sixty five. It's
- 22:27Speaker 2: still sixty five. You know, you get outside the city,
- 22:29Speaker 2: you're up there on the you know, once you get
- 22:32Speaker 2: past everything, sixty five, everybody's going sixty five. They'll argue, well,
- 22:38Speaker 2: it's safer at fifty five. Everybody's been going sixty five anyway,
- 22:41Speaker 2: so it wouldn't make much difference. Hey, when we come back,
- 22:44Speaker 2: the great comedian Jimmy Fayla, he's on with us now
- 22:47Speaker 2: every night nine to midnight. Excellent show every night nine
- 22:50Speaker 2: to midnight. And we'll talk to him next on seven
- 22:54Speaker 2: to ten WR. You know what's why.
- 22:58Speaker 4: He tells you why he's on seven ten WI.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Hey, Jimmy Fayla does a great show here every night
- 23:08Speaker 2: nine to midnight on seven ten WR, nine to midnight.
- 23:13Speaker 2: It's interesting, funny, love, and he also does the best
- 23:16Speaker 2: late night show in television Saturday nights at ten on
- 23:21Speaker 2: the Fox News Channel. President Trump tweeting out he's a
- 23:23Speaker 2: big fan of that show. It's the best monologue in TV.
- 23:27Speaker 2: And he's with us now, Jimmy Fayla, how you doing good?
- 23:30Speaker 4: I got a lot of pressure this weekend because the
- 23:33Speaker 4: whole cabinet is going to be watching my show on
- 23:36Speaker 4: the way back from China.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Yeah, think of that president watches it. He's gonna make
- 23:41Speaker 2: them all watch it. And yeah, he always watches it.
- 23:44Speaker 5: He never, he always listened.
- 23:45Speaker 4: He watches the whole show Saturday, and then Sunday he
- 23:49Speaker 4: rewatches the monologue. Yeah, so depending on the time zone
- 23:52Speaker 4: they're in when the reair comes. You know, I take
- 23:56Speaker 4: shots at everybody on that show. So you know there's
- 23:58Speaker 4: a chance that if I hit Pete Hegseth with a
- 24:00Speaker 4: fast ball, my house is getting hit by a drone
- 24:03Speaker 4: by Sunday morning.
- 24:04Speaker 5: But you're gonna be careful this week. Mark.
- 24:07Speaker 2: You do what Johnny Carson did the monologue. It's kind
- 24:10Speaker 2: of it's not partisan, and you do both sides. You'll
- 24:12Speaker 2: make fun of everybody.
- 24:15Speaker 5: Yep, and you know what you'll appreciate. This last week, I.
- 24:17Speaker 4: Was on the road in Nebraska doing stand up.
- 24:19Speaker 5: I was in Omaha, wonderful town.
- 24:21Speaker 4: The problem is everybody in Omaha, here's my accent and
- 24:24Speaker 4: thinks I'm in the witness protection program, which is challenging.
- 24:28Speaker 4: I got more offers to kill an in law last week.
- 24:31Speaker 5: Let's like her, and I can't.
- 24:32Speaker 4: I'm out of the business. But I went to when
- 24:34Speaker 4: I was out in Nebraska, went to Johnny Carson's boyhood
- 24:36Speaker 4: home in Norfolk, Nebraska, and tried to soak up a
- 24:40Speaker 4: little bit of that vibe because I think if you've
- 24:42Speaker 4: been watching this Colbert victory lap this week, which is
- 24:45Speaker 4: my favorite thing in the world.
- 24:47Speaker 5: He's you know, when a team wins the Super Bowl,
- 24:49Speaker 5: they dumped the gatorade on the on the coach.
- 24:52Speaker 4: Colbert is getting fired and they're jumping the gatorade on
- 24:55Speaker 4: for losing the super Bowl.
- 24:57Speaker 5: It's so bizarre. But again, every everything on that couch,
- 25:00Speaker 5: and I know you saw it and talked about it.
- 25:02Speaker 4: It was, you know, five liberal white guys who are
- 25:05Speaker 4: all doing the exact same show, and that's why Late
- 25:08Speaker 4: night is dying. They called themselves the strike for US
- 25:10Speaker 4: five and it's accurate because every Late Night viewers.
- 25:13Speaker 5: Been on strike ever since. These guys got a show.
- 25:16Speaker 2: You know, also, they have no audience. You know, this
- 25:19Speaker 2: Hollywood reporter story came out most powerful influential people in media,
- 25:23Speaker 2: Seth Myers. He's got like twelve viewers. He's on at
- 25:25Speaker 2: one in the morning. I mean even.
- 25:28Speaker 4: Nobody is watching there. I'm not making this up. There
- 25:32Speaker 4: are more people watching a commercial for the Guinnesshu knife
- 25:36Speaker 4: all these years later than there are for Seth Myers.
- 25:39Speaker 4: And yeah, somebody might have taken that knife and cut
- 25:41Speaker 4: his audience in half because he's rating behind the U
- 25:44Speaker 4: log right now. No, that' shows terrible. And again it's
- 25:48Speaker 4: all activism. It's just he comes on in a flannel
- 25:50Speaker 4: shirt and drums the devil and here's what he did.
- 25:53Speaker 4: And they cheat every angle. The thing about Trump that's
- 25:57Speaker 4: so fascinating is he's such an unconventional politician and if
- 26:01Speaker 4: they would have covered him honestly when he came down
- 26:04Speaker 4: the escalator.
- 26:05Speaker 5: He might not have won. But because they.
- 26:08Speaker 4: Lied and misrepresented, he said crazy things, but they tried
- 26:12Speaker 4: to make them crazier in an effort to damage him more,
- 26:15Speaker 4: and that allowed him to go, Look, this is fake news.
- 26:18Speaker 5: I didn't say that exact thing, Like you know the
- 26:20Speaker 5: famous quote he goes Mexico.
- 26:21Speaker 4: They're not sending their best. They're sending drugs, they're sending crime,
- 26:23Speaker 4: there's sending rapists, and the rest I assume are good people,
- 26:26Speaker 4: which is kind of a funny Trump throwaway, but the
- 26:28Speaker 4: media reported it as Trump said all Mexicans are drug
- 26:31Speaker 4: dealers and rapists, which wasn't true, and it allowed the
- 26:34Speaker 4: average person, because of the Stephen Colberts of the world,
- 26:37Speaker 4: to go, hey, am I not getting a fair shake
- 26:39Speaker 4: from the media on this election.
- 26:41Speaker 5: And that's what kind of built the resistance movement that
- 26:44Speaker 5: allowed Trump to overcome so many institutions.
- 26:47Speaker 4: It's guys like Colbert that are misrepresenting his words and
- 26:50Speaker 4: his deeds.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Very interesting. You know, if you checked the record when
- 26:54Speaker 2: he made that speech, nobody said a word. Everything was fine.
- 26:57Speaker 2: It was two weeks later when the first came out
- 27:00Speaker 2: showing him in the lead. That's when they went back
- 27:02Speaker 2: and they dug up that Mexican comment and started using
- 27:05Speaker 2: him against him.
- 27:06Speaker 4: So it's like, it's like Spencer Pratt, why they yelling?
- 27:09Speaker 4: You know, if you've seen this whole story with CMZ
- 27:11Speaker 4: and Spencer Pratt, did you catch that by any chance?
- 27:13Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah.
- 27:15Speaker 4: Spencer Pratt is of course a reality star running from
- 27:17Speaker 4: mayor in LA He's got these you know commercials talking.
- 27:20Speaker 5: About all you know, his where he lives now because.
- 27:22Speaker 4: His house burnt down, and he shows a picture of
- 27:24Speaker 4: his Bulfstream trailer on his vacant property loss. It goes,
- 27:29Speaker 4: this is where I live, and TMZ jumps in to go, well,
- 27:33Speaker 4: you know he also lives in a hotel. I'm like,
- 27:35Speaker 4: the point is his house burnt down and he's running
- 27:38Speaker 4: for election against the people who let it happen. The
- 27:41Speaker 4: fire hydrants were empty, you know what was full? The
- 27:44Speaker 4: swim up bar where Karen Vans was vacationing in Ghana.
- 27:48Speaker 5: That was full. Yeah, good luck getting a drink in
- 27:50Speaker 5: a hurry in that place.
- 27:51Speaker 4: But the city was on fire a double So it's
- 27:55Speaker 4: like when you look at it through that lens, that's
- 27:57Speaker 4: why Democrats are losing so many people is because they're taking.
- 28:01Speaker 5: Their fighting the wrong battle. It's like the average person
- 28:03Speaker 5: in Los Angeles.
- 28:04Speaker 4: If seven thousand homes got burnt down are a matter
- 28:07Speaker 4: about the homes being burnt down, then where Spencer Pratt
- 28:10Speaker 4: is being forced to hold up temporarily?
- 28:13Speaker 2: Hey, Jimmy Faylow, let's get back to these late night guys.
- 28:16Speaker 10: Now.
- 28:16Speaker 2: If I didn't know who you were and I just
- 28:18Speaker 2: put on your show. You look like a comedian, You
- 28:20Speaker 2: look like a fun guy. If I put on them,
- 28:24Speaker 2: I didn't know who that. They look angry, they look nasty.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Clbert looks like a nasty Kimmel looks like he wants
- 28:30Speaker 2: to choke you. And they all look so nasty. Seth
- 28:33Speaker 2: Meyers looks like a bitter and nasty, twisted guy. How
- 28:37Speaker 2: did these people? How do you be a comedian and
- 28:39Speaker 2: be that angry?
- 28:42Speaker 5: Well, I mean that.
- 28:42Speaker 4: That's the biggest challenge they have is they're selling us
- 28:46Speaker 4: the opposite of motion because they are selling as anger.
- 28:49Speaker 4: They are selling as judgment and comedy you know, by
- 28:52Speaker 4: definition is ridiculous. Like you're not supposed to be there
- 28:56Speaker 4: as an alpha. You're supposed to be there like Rodney Gangerfield.
- 28:59Speaker 4: You get respect, you're a hot mess, and you're there
- 29:02Speaker 4: to make everybody feel better about their own shortcomings. That's
- 29:06Speaker 4: the biggest problem with them trying to say they're good
- 29:08Speaker 4: at things and they know what None of us in
- 29:10Speaker 4: comedy know what we're doing.
- 29:12Speaker 5: Mark, this is a real sor.
- 29:13Speaker 4: When my identity got stolen two years ago, my credit
- 29:16Speaker 4: score went up thirty eight points. Okay, I clearly don't
- 29:21Speaker 4: have life figured out, but the Albanians who hacked my
- 29:25Speaker 4: email did, and I want to thank them because now
- 29:27Speaker 4: I can get a mortgage of the fine work they did.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Let's get back that Johnny Carson. You know, I'm the
- 29:34Speaker 2: biggest Johnny Carson fan, historian, scholar. I've studied everything, but
- 29:38Speaker 2: I don't know why I have no interest in this
- 29:40Speaker 2: boyhood home.
- 29:43Speaker 5: Well, yeah, yeah, you.
- 29:46Speaker 2: Went there, you went there. I mean, what do you
- 29:47Speaker 2: get out of it? It's just.
- 29:50Speaker 4: This is what I like, Okay, and this is something
- 29:53Speaker 4: I'm heavily invested in. It's because I'm on the road
- 29:55Speaker 4: doing comedy. So when I land and I don't have
- 29:58Speaker 4: a show till APM, I will usually google something of
- 30:01Speaker 4: local interest and just go see it. So it wasn't
- 30:04Speaker 4: like I took a separate trip to go, but the
- 30:06Speaker 4: fact that I was one hundred miles away was like, Yeah,
- 30:08Speaker 4: get in the car, we're going. And the reason I
- 30:10Speaker 4: get something out of it is because it's really a
- 30:13Speaker 4: reminder and this is true of like the spectacular possibilities
- 30:18Speaker 4: of life.
- 30:18Speaker 5: I'm one of those people.
- 30:20Speaker 4: It's like when you go to Corning, Iowa, which is
- 30:23Speaker 4: where he was born, I was there two weeks ago
- 30:25Speaker 4: because I was in Des Moines, So I went to Corning.
- 30:27Speaker 5: I saw the house he was born and he lived
- 30:28Speaker 5: until he was three.
- 30:29Speaker 4: Then this week I was in Nebraska, and so the
- 30:31Speaker 4: house he moved into in Nebraska. And when you go
- 30:34Speaker 4: to those places and you look at them and you
- 30:36Speaker 4: don't see the Tonight Show anywhere in the neighborhood, you
- 30:39Speaker 4: don't see how it would be possible to go from
- 30:42Speaker 4: that house to the Tonight Show sitting next to Jackie
- 30:44Speaker 4: Gleason or Frank Sinatra in that desk. But you realize
- 30:48Speaker 4: the thing that's bridging the gap is the country we
- 30:50Speaker 4: live in.
- 30:51Speaker 5: Okay.
- 30:51Speaker 4: That stuff makes me like a super patriot. Like when
- 30:54Speaker 4: I was in Commerce, Oklahoma, I went to Mickey Manno's
- 30:56Speaker 4: boyhood home where his dad would get drunk and throw
- 30:58Speaker 4: baseball at himuntil he learned how to hit him. And
- 31:01Speaker 4: it's an incredible story because you realize the thing started there,
- 31:06Speaker 4: Like whatever we know, Mickey manle to Be, he's on
- 31:08Speaker 4: a postage stamps. The most famous human being driver lived,
- 31:10Speaker 4: he started next to that barn. You know, whatever you know,
- 31:13Speaker 4: Johnny Carson to Be, he started on that little porch
- 31:16Speaker 4: in corn in Iowa. And when you see the possibilities
- 31:18Speaker 4: for a guy like me, I mean, I mean it,
- 31:20Speaker 4: you know who is really driving a cab. It really
- 31:23Speaker 4: reminds you that you could get anywhere. And you know,
- 31:26Speaker 4: I've obviously made it a lot further than where I
- 31:28Speaker 4: started as a cab driver, but the going to those
- 31:31Speaker 4: places for me reminds me I could probably go further
- 31:33Speaker 4: than I have already.
- 31:34Speaker 5: I don't know how. I don't know where, because.
- 31:36Speaker 4: Most jobs that are bigger than this one require a
- 31:38Speaker 4: drug test, which is going to be a problem for me.
- 31:40Speaker 5: But we'll see.
- 31:42Speaker 2: That's a pretty interesting answer. I never thought of it, though.
- 31:45Speaker 2: I see. I always like to walk by the un
- 31:47Speaker 2: Applaza apartment building First Avenue. That's where Johnny Carson lived
- 31:50Speaker 2: when he did The Tonight Show in New York. But
- 31:53Speaker 2: now you're right, that tells you really what you can
- 31:56Speaker 2: do in this country. So Jimmy Fails on dub you
- 32:00Speaker 2: are every night nine to midnight. It's a wonderful show,
- 32:03Speaker 2: very funny. And what do you have tonight?
- 32:06Speaker 5: Ooh, you better get ready for this. Jenny Fail is
- 32:09Speaker 5: coming on.
- 32:10Speaker 4: We're gonna try to sober up my wife to do
- 32:12Speaker 4: a radio she's got to talk about. She's on the
- 32:14Speaker 4: show this weekend. Jenny's on the TV show with Neil
- 32:16Speaker 4: de graft Tyson. So I usually have a little sparring
- 32:20Speaker 4: session with her before I put her on TV. So
- 32:22Speaker 4: fifteen minutes of me insulting my wife, eight hours of
- 32:25Speaker 4: me sleeping on a couch, You've got a great TV
- 32:28Speaker 4: show on Saturday.
- 32:29Speaker 2: She has become the new Joy Philbin.
- 32:31Speaker 4: I like that great, as long as I don't get
- 32:36Speaker 4: Joy Bahar.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Yeah, that's fine. And the TV show, it's the best
- 32:42Speaker 2: late night show there is. It's the number one best
- 32:45Speaker 2: monologue in television. It's Saturday nights at ten on the
- 32:48Speaker 2: Fox News channel, and you can be in the audience.
- 32:50Speaker 2: It's free if you want to. It's a great date
- 32:52Speaker 2: night thing. If somebody wants to bring to somebody or
- 32:55Speaker 2: come and sit in the audience. Where do they get
- 32:57Speaker 2: the tickets?
- 32:58Speaker 4: So free tickets at foxacross America dot com. And it
- 33:03Speaker 4: is everyone is taking our advice on this being a
- 33:05Speaker 4: cheap date because I've I've met so many young couples
