  People get intimations, intuitions, gut instincts, or

  simply a feeling about something, maybe a form of

  uneasiness or a sense of expectation, or some pressure or

  new thought process or emotional reaction.

  Sometimes these things occur during the waking state, but

  often they come as elements in dreams or in the twilight state

  between dream and waking. These things are generally

  subliminal and we experience them in a somewhat vague or

  indefinite or undefined manner, despite the confused usage of

  the term psychic that lumps all occult or subliminal activity

  into it. These things are for the most

  part not actually related to the soul or psychic being directly,

  but are sensed by the mental, vital, or physical being at a

  subtle inner level. The psychic being has its own

  types of intimations, but these are not generally directly

  related to the external life, personality and activities, but

  are more related to what we may term soul states, which exhibit

  responses such as aspiration, consecration, devotion, and an

  attraction to those things we experience in the world that

  have an uplifting and a nobling effect.

  Those things that express an inmost truth of existence and

  those things that represent the highest and best that we can

  Its power is not knowledge, but an essential or spiritual

  feeling. It has the clearest sense of the
