- 0:01It's six Eastern.
- 0:02Three o'clock Pacific.
- 0:04He's literally the former director of the FBI.
- 0:07He knows exactly what 8647 means.
- 0:10From coast to coast and around the world from America out loud talk radio.
- 0:15But I'm sick and tired of the fact that our president has been targeted over and over again with rhetoric that clearly calls for the assassination of this man.
- 0:24It's time for Truth Be Told with Booker Scott.
- 0:28The weekend started with a big May Day on Friday.
- 0:31And I hope you had a great May Day and a great weekend as well.
- 0:35It is a Monday night.
- 0:36I'm Booker.
- 0:36This is the truth be told.
- 0:38We have a lot to talk about this hour.
- 0:40And as always on Mondays, we do it with Matt Palumbo.
- 0:43I call it Mondays with Matt.
- 0:44I think it's been a while since I've called it that.
- 0:46But Matt, welcome back into the program.
- 0:48How was your weekend?
- 0:49Uh good to be back.
- 0:50And uh average.
- 0:52Did you enjoy May Day?
- 0:54How did you celebrate your May Day?
- 0:56No, it's some calmie uh nonsense.
- 0:59It is commie nonsense.
- 1:00It is.
- 1:00We'll get into it here in a minute.
- 1:02What about the Kentucky Derby?
- 1:03I know you're not a big sports guy, but the Kentucky Derby may be a little bit different.
- 1:07You get to dress up and you watch horses run.
- 1:10Did you pay any attention to the Kentucky Derby over the weekend?
- 1:13Uh I'm now learning for the first time that I missed the Kentucky Derby.
- 1:18Oh my goodness, you don't even do horse racing.
- 1:21I don't even I don't it's not even that I'm not even into sports.
- 1:24It's I have no idea what's even happening in the sports world.
- 1:28Well, the Kentucky Derby, the 152nd running of it was Saturday afternoon, and the winner was a 23 to 1 long shot.
- 1:37Golden tempo.
- 1:38The interesting thing was it made history.
- 1:40It was the first female trainer to ever win the Kentucky Derby.
- 1:45Her name is Cherie DeVaux, and that's the reason why I bring it up and talk about it here.
- 1:49But congratulations to her.
- 1:51There has been one other lady, uh female that has been a trainer that has won a triple cup uh race, but never before the Kentucky Derby.
- 1:59So she won that on Saturday.
- 2:01Congratulations to her.
- 2:02But let's get back to this May Day.
- 2:04We had this uh Friday, and I guess kids all across the country were skipping school at the encouragement of the teachers there.
- 2:12Is that what you saw?
- 2:13Um I yeah, I've seen some stuff to that effect.
- 2:17I saw a video on YouTube about how some teachers in Chicago were holding a protest and were busting their own students to them.
- 2:24So I guess make them appear more uh appear larger.
- 2:27So yeah, yeah, I think I saw what you're referring to.
- 2:29Yeah, there were a bunch in Chicago.
- 2:30I have some sound here from Chicago.
- 2:32Let's go to Fox News with this report.
- 2:34I want to show you right at the very front of the big march, like he's Grand Marshal of the parade is Chicago mayor Brandon Johnson there.
- 2:43Uh leaving the numbers out here.
- 2:44We've got thousands of people.
- 2:46We can't get close to him right now.
- 2:47You got all the bike cops up here doing their job, uh, making sure everyone in the uh march is safe.
- 2:52But uh, you've got thousands of people out here right now.
- 2:55It's quite a crowd.
- 2:56And one of the things that you might notice is you got a lot of young faces in the crowd.
- 3:00That's because there are a lot of students here who were encouraged by their teachers to walk out, if you will.
- 3:07That's another word for skipping school.
- 3:09Uh even though, with all the young people that you see in this crowd, you know, the elementary schools have just started letting out five minutes ago.
- 3:17Uh, buses have been provided.
- 3:19Uh so there's a little bit of sound.
- 3:21They get to the buses there that you were talking about, Matt, but that is over with.
- 3:25Just uh, like you said, another communist commie thing, and we're gonna get to more of that in this hour too with Bernie Sanders on the fight oligarchy conferences that were going on in places like Detroit and Minneapolis.
- 3:39I should say this too, Matt.
- 3:40I don't know if you saw this.
- 3:41There was a special election in Texas, and it was really good for the Republicans.
- 3:47Yeah, I think it was what, like a 17-point overperformance.
- 3:51Correct, yeah.
- 3:51Really good, yeah.
- 3:52It was it was a race that uh it was a race that Trump won, I think by 34, and this race over the weekend was uh 75 to 24, so that's a 17-point uh better than what Donald Trump did.
- 4:05That's good news.
- 4:06And we also had another one that was the same way, and I can also report the latest polling in Michigan for Senator, which is going to be an open seat.
- 4:15Uh Gary Peters is retiring there.
- 4:17Mike Rogers is leading right now, 44 to 40 percent.
- 4:22So good news there.
- 4:24I know I've been uh probably sounding a little bit negative away all these races have been going, and I I have been.
- 4:30I'm not trying to blackpill anyone, but I am trying to put the fear into people that if we don't get out and vote, then it really doesn't matter what else happens.
- 4:37And in both of these cases, well, in the case of that special election in Texas, people got out and voted, and it made a huge difference.
- 4:45They picked the worst possible.
- 4:46I mean, I know that the the um I don't believe they've um had the primaries yet for the Democrat candidate, but the guy leading is uh an Arab American who when we killed the Ayatollah of Iran, um, didn't put out a message supporting it because he was worried it would alienate some of his voters.
- 5:05So he's he's he's like a supporter by the Hezbollah caucus or the Iran caucus or or whatever, but no, it it is a total lunatic that is their front runner, which is good news for us.
- 5:15It certainly is.
- 5:16Finally, there's some good news there.
- 5:18Also, let's stay here with elections.
- 5:20The Supreme Court decided that gerrymandering was perfectly fine the way that they were wanting to do it.
- 5:26So quickly, Florida, which already had a special session uh scheduled, they had that last week.
- 5:33Ron DeSantis signs it into law, and as a result of that, the Republicans are probably going to pick up four Republican seats.
- 5:40People like Debbie Wasserman Schultz, say so so fallen to her.
- 5:43She's she's gone now.
- 5:45What uh what one thing I noticed that I thought was interesting was um and you know, when you hear gerrymandering, uh you know, there are even though you're increasing the number of Republican seats, the Democrat seats that do remain like the districts become more Democrat leaning.
- 6:01And I noticed that Darren uh Moskowitz's district went from basically lean R.
- 6:07It was a Democrat plus two to being pretty solid.
- 6:10It was a Democrat plus ten as a result.
- 6:13And he had been appointed, despite being a Democrat had actually been appointed to a number of important posts by Ron DeSantis before he ran for Congress.
- 6:23So he he I'm wondering if it was done on purpose just because he's friends with DeSantis, and maybe DeSantis saw him as I I think the conservative or centrist Democrat is a myth, but you know, as being not maybe as crazy as all the other ones.
- 6:37Yeah, I don't think he is terrible.
- 6:40And I have sent him a message before to try to help me with something.
- 6:44He didn't respond, but I did that because I don't think he's so far left that he wouldn't consider helping a conservative.
- 6:51But at the same time, there's only so many places you can draw lines.
- 6:55There has to be Yeah, someone someone has to, you know, back to it.
- 6:59Yeah, there's gonna be a benefit somewhere along the way for a Democrat.
- 7:00There's going to be a benefit somewhere along the way for a Democrat.
- 7:02You hope just to pile them all up in one congested little area and uh draw lines all over the place.
- 7:02You hope just to pile them all up in one congested little area and uh draw lines all over the place.
- 7:09And like I said, it's going to be plus four in Florida.
- 7:09And like I said, it's gonna be plus four in Florida, and the governor of Tennessee, Bill Lee, announced over the weekend that Tennessee is going to have a special session now to do the same thing.
- 7:13And the governor of Tennessee, Bill Lee, announced over the weekend that Tennessee is going to have a special session now to do the same thing.
- 7:20Maybe they pick up a couple more.
- 7:20Maybe they pick up a couple more.
- 7:22So to read the scorecard too for everyone so far.
- 7:22So to read the scorecard too for everyone so far.
- 7:24So you know, if the Virginia map stands, uh Republicans are still up and net.
- 7:25If the Virginia map stands, a Republicans are still up a net three seats.
- 7:32But for some reason, Utah decided, let's create a Democrat seat just to be fair.
- 7:38I don't really sure the logic was there.
- 7:40Then we would obviously have more too if the Illinois Republicans didn't completely flake.
- 7:45Not only did the redistricting fail in Illinois, it even failed within the Republican conference.
- 7:50So they they betrayed us there.
- 7:51But if Virginia fails, I think it's what plus seven or eight seats Republicans benefit from the redistricting.
- 7:58They would coming out ahead of this.
- 8:01And the potential there is for 19 Republican seats.
- 8:05If everybody did.
- 8:07Yeah, but they're they're not.
- 8:08Indiana has already said they won't.
- 8:10So there are some seats that are going to be left on the table for the Republicans, and that's fine.
- 8:14So Tennessee is going to redistrict.
- 8:16We had Joe Jim Comey.
- 8:18We had Jim Comey last week.
- 8:19He was indicted.
- 8:20We didn't really talk about that.
- 8:22But let's talk about that just a little bit because I believe this is going somewhere else.
- 8:26Catherine Harridge, uh, formerly of CBS and Fox News.
- 8:30I think she does a great job.
- 8:31She is suggesting that this is part of the grand jury that's in Florida.
- 8:36She says the final chapters are being written now for that grand jury on John Brennan, and she says that Comey kind of goes along with it.
- 8:44Interesting.
- 8:45Yeah, I mean, I I will admit the I you know, and I I've seen, I think Todd Blanche hinted it's more than just the eighty-six forty-seven posts, because you know, it you know, every restaurant, you know, if you if you work at a restaurant, that's just slang for remove something from a menu, 86 it, and I I think you could very easily make a legal defense of, yeah, I meant, you know, I want Trump out of office, and I'm not saying to kill the guy.
- 9:11So I I do hope they have a lot more than just that.
- 9:15Um, although if a grand jury indicted him, I assume there has to be more than just you would think so, but I don't think that 8647 necessarily is enough to do anything.
- 9:25Yeah, I just don't think that's gonna go anywhere.
- 9:27Uh yeah, I mean, it I would not interpret that personally as a death throne.
- 9:32I would just interpret it as I don't want Trump to be in office anymore.
- 9:35There has to be more things irresponsible thing for a former FBI director to post regardless.
- 9:40No, it's just I just don't think the case is that strong, unfortunately.
- 9:43Yeah, based on that.
- 9:45Well, the Fed, they met last week, and again, they did not reduce the interest rates.
- 9:50Jerome Powell, he uh had his last meeting as the chief of the of the Federal Reserve.
- 9:57So he is leaving, and Kevin Worse is coming in.
- 10:01And uh, what do you think there?
- 10:02What are your expectations with the the change of Powell to Worsh?
- 10:06Well, I saw his um testimony before the Senate, I believe it was, and and um you know, he he does seem to be a Trump loyalist.
- 10:14You know, he was asked the question of you know, who who do you think won the 2020 election, and um, you know, kind of danced around the question as to not offend Trump.
- 10:24Um I think I you know, I I think he's probably in the boat that he thinks Biden won, but also didn't want to counter uh Trump's narrative.
- 10:34Um which, you know, my my point being it shows a level of loyalty to trust uh to Trump um and the kind of narratives he wants to push.
- 10:41Um now the chairman of the Fed it is supposed to be a totally independent uh position um for obvious reasons.
- 10:51Um so you know, I I would like an independent Fed, and I I think Powell has been doing things on purpose to um you know the contrary to what which what he would be doing under a Democrat.
- 11:03Um I I do think interest rate should be lower.
- 11:05So, you know, even if this new guy is um, you know, I think someone being independent entirely would be an improvement over Powell.
- 11:13Um if he is a you know uh very, very pro-Trump guy.
- 11:16I mean, it's not you're not supposed to be partisan as a chairman of the Fed, but you know, uh obviously as Trump fans, uh I I don't have the biggest problem with that either.
- 11:24Matt, something else that people don't think about is there are 12 governors on the Fed, and all of them have an equal vote.
- 11:33So last time, just as an example, there were three that actually voted to increase the interest rates.
- 11:40There was one that voted to decrease it, and they stayed the same because all 12 vote.
- 11:46So the chairman, even with Worsh coming in, I don't think it makes a whole lot of difference, but there is the problem with affordability right now.
- 11:53You hear it being talked about a lot.
- 11:55It's gonna be a big issue coming up in the midterm in November, no doubt about that.
- 11:59Gas prices are very high.
- 12:01Uh you have interest rates that have gone back up, mortgage rates on houses.
- 12:06They had gotten down to six percent, and they are now back up to six and a half percent, making you know the housing uh a you know tough situation right now.
- 12:14It is a buyer's market right now in the country.
- 12:17My wife and I are looking at move soon out of a condo into a house, and that we had a daughter, and uh and then it really is crazy that the interest rate almost matters more than the price of the house.
- 12:29And in fact, you know, given our switch, I think it actually does a much bigger variable than even the price in terms of the monthly payment.
- 12:35So I I uh I I long for uh uh my uh the three and a half percent days.
- 12:40Well, you got spoiled in that.
- 12:42I did.
- 12:43You did.
- 12:43Well, I don't think it's well, I I worked for PNC um when I got um like after I bought my my first property, and they had uh a thing where if you were an employee of theirs, you could refinance with them, yeah, and no matter what your rate was, they take half a point off.
- 12:58So like I I really luck out um on my first purchase, but uh you know, when I move it's gonna it wasn't that long ago, Matt, that people were celebrating getting down to six percent.
- 13:11You know, that was a very low interest rate.
- 13:13It wasn't that long ago, and that's why I think we really got spoiled uh at three two point seven five percent.
- 13:20Like I said, it's back up to six and a half percent.
- 13:22Oh, and with my parents, I mean that was probably what, like seven to twenty percent back in the day.
- 13:26So yeah, seventeen, eighteen percent.
- 13:29In historical terms, we're still pretty good, but uh fantastic.
- 13:32I'm nostalgic for five years ago.
- 13:34Well, what happened is the price of houses went up dramatically and the interest rate was down at 3.25%.
- 13:41The houses are still trying to sell for that same amount of money, but the interest rate is up at six, six and a half percent.
- 13:47So what you're talking about with you trying to buy a house is exactly right.
- 13:51If the prices would come down if it were more affordable, then uh the interest rate really doesn't matter as much if the price of the house.
- 13:59It's all relative, I guess, is what I'm saying.
- 14:00I guess is what I'm saying.
- 14:01And uh by the way, we're three to four million dollars, uh three to four million homes short of having enough homes in this country, needing the number that we have.
- 14:01And uh by the way, we're three to four million dollars, uh three to four million homes short of having enough homes in this country, needing the number that we have.
- 14:11So uh Donald Trump, he gave a speech in the villages.
- 14:11So uh Donald Trump, he gave a speech in the villages.
- 14:14Do you know anything about the villages in Florida?
- 14:14Do you know anything about the villages in Florida?
- 14:16Not far from me.
- 14:16Not far from me.
- 14:17Yes, I um I my first job out of college actually was um it was a firm.
- 14:17Yes, I um I my first job out of college actually was um it was a firm, well, it's like an intern show.
- 14:21Well, it's like actually an internship.
- 14:23I was still in college.
- 14:23I was still in college.
- 14:23It was a firm that they did private valuation, or they did like valuations for private businesses, so it would be for companies that were you know offering private stock to their employees, and you know, because the stocks not publicly traded, they would hire a third party firm to do the valuation.
- 14:23It was a firm that they did private valuation or they did like valuations for private businesses.
- 14:40And I remember they had the villages as a client.
- 14:44I can't remember for the what exact service it was, but I you know, I had gone through their website and was looking at all the amenities and you know the the day, you know, day in the life there, and I thought, all right, I'll retire here in another 40 or so years.
- 14:57I'm not sure.
- 14:58I don't know if you'd fit in there.
- 15:00I don't know if you'd fit in in the villages, but probably not.
- 15:03Donald Trump was there.
- 15:04It looked like the time.
- 15:05Donald Trump was there Friday giving a speech, and he has a lot of support there in the villages.
- 15:10Here's what he had to say about Cuba when he was there.
- 15:12And he comes from originally a place called Cuba, which we will be taking over almost immediately.
- 15:21No, it's cubes.
- 15:23Cuba's got problems.
- 15:25We'll fill finish one first.
- 15:27I like to finish the job.
- 15:29On the way back from what we'll do on the way back from Iran, we'll have one of our big maybe the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier, the biggest in the world will have that come in.
- 15:42Stop about a hundred yards offshore, and they'll say, Thank you very much.
- 15:46We give up.
- 15:48Matt, people don't get that all of that is just a joke.
- 15:52He is not serious.
- 15:53And I know people will say he's the president of the United States, he shouldn't say things like that.
- 15:57The market, the market, the market.
- 15:59Who cares?
- 16:00Yeah, who cares?
- 16:01Lighten up, laugh a little bit.
- 16:03That's all that was, it wasn't it.
- 16:05You know, that's well, I mean, the left does not understand actually saying I feel bad for the left, but I I can't imagine having the funniest man alive as your president, and you can't even appreciate it or enjoy it.
- 16:17Like you're missing out on so much comedy gold.
- 16:20Like you saw last week when um Trump had who was that the uh administrator of NASA, and he um you know anyone who doesn't know what he looks like, his ears are unfortunately large.
- 16:32Um, you know, not not to bully the guy.
- 16:33You know who he looks like, and I'm not bullying him either.
- 16:36But this is radio, it's audio only podcast.
- 16:39He looks like the guy on uh mad magazine.
- 16:42A little bit, yeah.
- 16:43But but Trump was Trump is talking about when he's like, this guy, I mean, this guy can listen to really well.
- 16:47Look at those ears.
- 16:49Every day he says something that's that's a 10 out of 10 comment.
- 16:52Well, NATO has been in the news lately, and a lot of people in the Trump administration, they want to move out of NATO.
- 16:59They can't do that arbitrarily.
- 17:01It has to be done through Congress.
- 17:02And guess who made that a law?
- 17:05It was uh Marco Rubio back several years ago.
- 17:08So you can't arbitrarily move out, but you can do other things.
- 17:11And one of the things that we are hearing that America is going to do is move troops out of Germany.
- 17:16And Donald Trump was called on the tarmac over the weekend on his way to watch the golf tournament in Miami at his golf course.
- 17:24And here is what he had to say about Germany.
- 17:26Why is the US removing Germany?
- 17:30Uh we're gonna cut way down, and we're cutting a lot further than five thousand.
- 17:34Thank you very much.
- 17:35So more than five thousand troops are going to be removed from Germany, Matt, and I guess one way or the other, we can kind of draw down the troops from Europe and let them deal with it themselves.
- 17:46I think we've always done far more than every other country has in terms of NATO commitment.
- 17:52And in fact, that's objectively the case.
- 17:54And um Trump obviously has gotten them all to pay more recently, but there's still a you know, a many decades-long backlog where we were overpaying relative to them.
- 18:03And and yeah, I'm fine with this.
- 18:05Um I would rather have the southern border or some more productive thrust.
- 18:09We've got more of this conversation coming up after the break.
- 18:11We're gonna talk about Christian nationalism.
- 18:13We're gonna talk about Iran.
- 18:15Obviously, we have to talk about spirit airlines.
- 18:18They are now closed, they're out of business.
- 18:21More truth in minutes on America Out Loud Talk Radio.

- 19:39Well, the America most of us have grown up with lost under a relentless and pernicious siege from those carrying the banners of socialism, Congress, and Marxism.
- 19:50America Rotloud.news is the antidote to these poison is America out loud.news is that place to awaken your heart, soul, and mind to the outlook troop.
- 20:15Yeah.
- 20:18That is Matt Palumbo's walk up music.
- 20:21Every day I write the book because he's written 11 of them.
- 20:25You can find his work if you go to Amazon.
- 20:27Just type in his name, Matt Palumbo, P A L U M B O, and you can find books like Spygate, Fact Checking the Fact Checker, Man Behind the Curtain About George Soros, and his brand new book about Alex Soros is called The Air.
- 20:41Find all of those at Amazon, but you can find Matt right here, right now on The Truth Be Told.
- 20:47Matt, let's get into a conversation about Christian nationalism.
- 20:50I don't think you and I really ever have talked about it, but it's something that really triggers the left.
- 20:55The Democrats, they can't stand the thought of Christian nationalism.
- 21:00In your understanding, what is it?
- 21:00In your understanding, what is it?
- 21:02Well, it's one of those things that I think you and I could define in an honest way, but it's something the left just uses as a scare term.
- 21:02Well, it's one of those things that I think you and I could define in an honest way, but it's something the left just uses as a scare term.
- 21:10Yeah.
- 21:10Yeah.
- 21:11Um, because the thing is they understand about the left is they live entirely through fiction, which is why if you're online, you'll see the make analogies like the Republicans are Voldemort or uh you know, such and such Republican is just like this guy in the handmaid's tail.
- 21:11Um, because the thing is they understand about the left is they live entirely through fiction, which is why if you're online, you'll see the make analogies like the Republicans are Voldemort, or uh, you know, such and such Republican is just like this guy in the handmaid's tale.
- 21:27It's always a reference to fiction.
- 21:27It's always a reference to fiction.
- 21:29Um
- 21:29Um, and with Christian nationalism, that's what they're trying to fear monger over.
- 21:33That it's going to be that people want theocracy, they want uh totalitarianism, they want you know something out of like uh, you know, mark it out with him with stale uh handmade stale, which I I just mentioned.
- 21:45Um in reality, it's just people who understand that the country was founded upon largely Christian principles, and yes, I understand not all the founding fathers were Christian, but the overwhelming majority were.
- 21:58Um yes, I understand the founders wanted uh separation of church and state, but uh that's because they understood a state church could be harmful to religion.
- 22:07That's right.
- 22:08Um it's I I mean, it's really just the ideology I think most people in this country have had since its founding up until relatively recently.
- 22:17Um now the Christianity seems to be unfortunately be declining, but uh it's um I I don't know, it it's just a fearmonger attacking from what from what I see.
- 22:27Now, there are people who do identify as Christian nationalists.
- 22:30I think there even in fact is a book out there called uh in def the case for Christian nationalism.
- 22:36But it it's a very it's it's uh you know very toned down to the fear, you know, relative to the fear mongering of the left claims that would you know people like that would believe.
- 22:45And the irony of this is coming through the Biden years where they weaponized the Department of Justice and the FBI to go after Christians, and now just because maybe some people in this country, they want to elect people that are Christians because of what you just mentioned.
- 23:03And a lot of people on the left call that Christian nationalism.
- 23:07That just happens to be my ideology.
- 23:09I want people that maybe think the way that I do.
- 23:12But let's go back to what the Biden administration did and uh persecuted uh in particular Catholics.
- 23:19Uh, there was a report released the 30th of April, and uh, I'll just read from it.
- 23:24Today the task force to eradicate anti-Christian biased publisher report detailing how the Biden administration's prosecutions, policies and practices demonstrated anti-Christian bias throughout the federal government.
- 23:39The acting attorney general serves as the chair of the task force, and the Justice Department coordinated the significant interagency effort.
- 23:48Quote, no Americans should live in fear that the federal government will punish them for their faith.
- 23:55And that was from acting attorney general Todd Blanch.
- 23:58He went on to say, as our report lays out, the Biden administration's actions devastated the lives of many Christian Americans.
- 24:06That devastation ended with President Trump.
- 24:08The Department of Justice will continue to expose bad actors who targeted Christians and work tirelessly tirelessly, tireless, they'll work their ass off.
- 24:19They're gonna work their ass off to restore restore religious liberty.
- 24:24Go ahead, Matt.
- 24:25There is a Biden prosecutor who, and I think it must have been from that report.
- 24:29I think I saw Mary Margaret Olahan on the Daily Wire, uh, or should I think with the daily the Daily Something, well, wire signal, one of the two, um, covered it where he was basically salivating over the prospect of targeting nuns to prosecute.
- 24:43Um, which it's uh it's like a cartoonish level of evil you would expect from like a right-wing fan fiction of the liberals take over the country, but that's exactly what they were doing.
- 24:53They were targeting they were literally targeting nuns.
- 24:56So no, these are supremely evil people, and they are far more totalitarian than any Christian nationalist would ever dream of being.
- 25:04This report found that President Biden pushed policies to eliminate statutory protections for religious Americans that interfered with his policy goals, although he failed to change federal law under his direction.
- 25:18It also says the Biden Justice Department aggressively opposed concerned parents through the Garland School Board memo and diligently attempted to use its enforcement authority against parents who defended their children's safety at local school board meetings.
- 25:34You remember all of that?
- 25:35Most of that I think really took place in Virginia, and then the election after that we had a lot of the school boards in Virginia, they went conservative after that, and then this latest election, those school boards in Virginia, the Virginia, they flip back to Democrat, unfortunately.
- 25:51But that's uh sort of some background there on that report that just came out the 30th, which I guess would have been last Thursday.
- 25:58So I don't know if you saw that or not, Matt.
- 26:00Oh, yeah, I know 100%.
- 26:02Um, but uh yeah, my favorite part of the school board meetings was a lot of them were about um bathrooms.
- 26:09You know, yeah, yeah, bathrooms and then also books that were borderline pornographic being in schools, and the the left had some success at first in framing it as war against book bands, but then once people started, you know, wising up and asking, well, what what exactly are the books being banned?
- 26:26And you know, by ban, they really just mean they're not gonna put it in a school curriculum, which it is not a ban.
- 26:32There, there's you know, there's tens of millions of books out there in the world.
- 26:35You gotta pick what 10 a year to read the kids.
- 26:38But so, but but um people are really wised up to that.
- 26:41My my favorite clips that would emerge from those meetings were when the parents would walk up to the podium and they would start reading from the books, and they would uh silence them by saying it wasn't appropriate for the meeting.
- 26:54And it's like so they're not appropriate for a school board meeting, but it's appropriate for the schools that the school boards oversee.
- 27:00Okay, that makes sense.
- 27:01Yeah, it's perfect for a second grader, but not for you, the adult that makes those decisions.
- 27:06A lot of them also were about the bathrooms.
- 27:08I remember the one in Virginia where this young man went into uh uh you know a same-sex bathroom and he ended up raping a girl, and it turns out that there's illegal.
- 27:19Yeah, well, and he was also at another school prior, did the same thing.
- 27:23They moved him from one school to the new one, and he did the same thing again.
- 27:27And that dad was so furious in that school board meeting, he was ready to kill someone and they arrested him.
- 27:33I remember that.
- 27:33Yeah, in a school board meeting.
- 27:35I I think sometimes we forget about all of those things that happened and the things that we went through.
- 27:40We're gonna segue now into Iran and what is going on there, which it seems like it's pretty quiet.
- 27:46I don't know who's in charge still, and it's no one knows no one knows.
- 27:52I mean, even Trump's saying it.
- 27:54Yeah, Trump Trump is saying that at this point.
- 27:56He's like, they'll say Muhammad's in charge.
- 27:57I don't know who the which one's that.
- 27:59It could really be anyone.
- 28:00It could really be anyone.
- 28:01Yeah, they don't know who is in charge.
- 28:01Yeah, they don't know who is in charge.
- 28:03The blockade is still going on, and I guess Iran now is trying to get around a couple of different ways to get their oil out so they don't have to completely shut down the pumping of uh oil rigs.
- 28:03The blockade is still going on, and I guess Iran now is trying to get around a couple of different ways to get their oil out so they don't have to completely shut down the pumping of uh oil rigs.
- 28:16Uh they are using the rail system that they have that goes to China.
- 28:16Uh they are using the rail system that they have that goes to China.
- 28:20The problem with that is it doesn't hold as much oil as a tanker in the ocean, and it's also um more costly.
- 28:20The problem with that is it doesn't hold as much oil as a tanker in the ocean, and it's also um more costly.
- 28:27And when China is buying oil.
- 28:27And when China is buying oil, they like to steal it and not pay much of anything for it, and that drives up the cost of the oil.
- 28:35But uh Iran's in uh big big trouble here, and we keep waiting for something to happen, but it doesn't really seem like anything is, uh, except for our gas prices are going up here to four dollars and twenty-nine cents is what the national average is now, and that's a problem.
- 28:52And we're starting to worry about inflation and things here at home.
- 28:55And I think as this midterm election gets closer and closer, it's gonna be something that's gonna be a concern to Donald Trump, and he's gonna have to find a way to get this thing over with.
- 29:05Gas prices are one of those things that is going to be a huge factor going into um the the midterms, as you say.
- 29:12I mean, Trump largely won in 2024 because the people were far more confident in Republicans on the economy and the border, obviously, too, then the Democrats.
- 29:23Um then unfortunately seems to have shifted quite a bit in the Democrats' favor as a result of this.
- 29:28So yeah, something he has to get under control quickly.
- 29:32I mean, we can we can pray that um there's a category of voter out there that if gas prices do crash back to where they were under uh before the Iran war, we'll maybe uh hopefully forget what preceded it and then just be happy with low gas again.
- 29:48But no, it is something that objectively is gonna hurt us, and uh I probably have broken record with this, but uh they need to wrap this up pretty quickly.
- 29:55Yeah, I agree.
- 29:55And here is the CEO of Chevron.
- 29:58His name is Mike Wirth.
- 30:00He was on CBS with Martha Raditz.
- 30:03If there is an actual negotiated end to the war, do prices come down, or is uh just a truce enough to give relief?
- 30:11Well, what's really needed is for flow to resume through the straight of horn news.
- 30:15You can't take 20% of the energy out of the system, and some of it's finding its way around to the Red Sea.
- 30:20But there's still a substantial amount of world energy supply that is not able to flow.
- 30:26And uh, and so that's the key thing is to restore that flow.
- 30:30It allows markets to begin to rebuild these inventories, it allows us to uh get products to where they're needed and to alleviate some of the pressure.
- 30:37But that that all will take time.
- 30:39It's a world where we got logistics of uh ships and pipelines and moving things around to markets around the world, and so that's why I say I think it's gonna be with us for some time because even if the strait were to open today, uh getting supplies to where they're needed and resuming uh the the normal functioning of the system is going to take some time.
- 30:59And I think that's a little bit funny because when all of this started, it took about two days for gas to go up a dollar.
- 31:05Yeah, they definitely gotta I think Trump should pull a page out of the left playbook and be like it's corporate greed, their price gouged, it's that's way out of our hands.
- 31:15We can't do anything.
- 31:16And that was uh not that was face the nation.
- 31:18That was not uh Martha Raditz, but I do have her, and here's a piece from uh Democrat Senator Jack Reed.
- 31:26He was on with her on Sunday, so this is ABC, and he is talking about Iran and what is going on there in the conflict.
- 31:34Um, your colleague on the Armed Services Committee, Richard Blumenthal said on Thursday that he had the impression from briefings that an imminent military strike is very much on the table, one that could put America's sons and daughters in harm's way and have the potential for mass casualties.
- 31:50Have you heard the same?
- 31:51Do you believe a new round of strikes is imminent?
- 31:55Well, uh, they're certainly positioned for strikes.
- 31:58That's what a military force has to be.
- 32:00Uh again, one of the things that's so confounding in this whole situation is I don't believe the president has a plan.
- 32:07I think it's impulsive, it's day-to-day, it's how he feels, and he's not being uh given uh I think the the support and the uh planning that is necessary to make judicious judgments.
- 32:23Matt, I think there are all kinds of plans out there for Donald Trump to choose depending on what he wants to do.
- 32:30And I don't think that he is not thinking this through.
- 32:34I think that ultimately it comes down, and he made the comment about this over the weekend too.
- 32:39It comes down to Iran is never going to have uh a nuclear capability.
- 32:43That has always been the objective for Donald Trump for 25 years.
- 32:47He has been consistent about that, and he says we're not gonna leave until that is accomplished.
- 32:52He mentioned that over the weekend.
- 32:54I think it's inaccurate to say he didn't have a plan.
- 32:57I think his plans um had assumed this would be over within I think the four to six weeks or the the six to eight weeks timeline um that he initially gave that we are now beyond.
- 33:07But there obviously was a plan in place.
- 33:10Um it is unfortunate in that you know it's selling this to the American public.
- 33:15It it's not like you can show what the counterfactual would look like if I ran as a nuclear weapon.
- 33:22It's not like we can um you know put everyone in the time machine and goes 30 years in the future and go, see, if we didn't do this, uh you know, half the world would be blown to smithereens.
- 33:32Right.
- 33:33I it's it's uh you know one of those things that people just have to kind of uh hope it's for the best.
- 33:37And it it is admittedly a tough sell for a lot of people.
- 33:40Um you know, even with issues like climate change.
- 33:43If you pull people on the um climate and say, you know, do you think that you know, and the government should do X, Y, and Z to fight the so-called climate crisis?
- 33:52It pulls very favorably when you add another variable and and ask, would you be willing to pay an extra ten dollars in taxes every month to further this goal?
- 34:02Then people overwhelmingly turn against it.
- 34:05So, you know, when the when the price of something, even if it's a good clause and a noble clause and one that could save millions of lives down the road, cost people an extra couple hundred bucks a month in gas prices.
- 34:16It does become a political liability, even if objectively it's the right thing to do.
- 34:20Well, Matt, what about Spirit Airlines?
- 34:22Have you ever flown on spirit?
- 34:24Oh, I I've uh I I've seen the uh the videos of social media.
- 34:29Holy hell, man.
- 34:30I'm actually upset because I I think Spirit was doing a very noble thing in serving as like a containment zone, meaning all the people uh that would fly spirit that are causing problems and you know behaving the way we've seen.
- 34:46It you know, at least they're not on your airline then.
- 34:48Yeah, uh so I I don't know if this means they're not gonna be able to afford to fly anymore, or if they're now gonna be in my airplane.
- 34:55But I'm I'm hoping it just prices like uh a lot of people out of being able to fly to us.
- 35:00Well, when you charge $29 to go to New York from Los Angeles, you're gonna get some of this.
- 35:01Well, when you charge 29 dollars to go to New York from Los Angeles, you you're gonna get some of this.
- 35:07I have some of that video.
- 35:07I have some of that video.
- 35:08Let's listen to this.
- 35:08Let's listen to this.
- 35:10This is what Matt is referring to.
- 35:10This is what Matt is referring to.
- 35:11We've seen the endless videos of fights with Spirit Airlines.
- 35:14It's a video that's now been viewed by millions.
- 35:14It's a video that's now been viewed by millions.
- 35:19Oh my gosh.
- 35:19Oh my gosh.
- 35:20Oh, oh.
- 35:20Oh, ooh.
- 35:22Spirit Airlines passengers attacked employees, upset for having to verify their bag size.
- 35:22Spirit Airlines passengers attacked employees, upset for having to verify their bag size.
- 35:31Total chaos at the ticket counter.
- 35:33Broward County deputies were forced to cuff some passengers who'd had enough.
- 35:38The trouble exploded after Spirit Pancalled Nine Flight.
- 35:42The Spirit Airlines is more than just Mortal Kombat.
- 35:45Yes, that does appear to be a rat on the I don't know about you, Matt, but I have never flown Spirit.
- 35:51But I have never had any of that happen on any plane that I've flown while I'm waiting there at the gate for the plane to come in.
- 36:00None of that has ever happened, but it seemed to happen all the time with Spirit.
- 36:04Spirit filed bankruptcy twice.
- 36:06They did last year, again, chapter 11.
- 36:09They were trying to merge with uh uh jet blue, I guess it was, and uh the Biden administration said no, and and we've done a great thing for the American people.
- 36:19And Sean Duffy talks about that.
- 36:21Here he is speaking about boot edge edge.
- 36:24Uh, there was a proposed merger between Jet Blue and Spirit.
- 36:29And Joe Biden and P.
- 36:31Puta judge, along with the Biden DOJ, uh, decided that they didn't they did not want that merger to take place.
- 36:38And at the time, uh the Biden and boot a drudge DOJ bragged and said uh as they canceled the option for this merger, that this was a victory for U.S.
- 36:48travelers who deserve lower prices and better choices.
- 36:52Now, uh many at the time said this was a disaster.
- 36:56Uh this merger should have been allowed.
- 36:58And this uh today uh would indicate this is not better for travelers.
- 37:02This is not better for pricing.
- 37:04This is not better for competition.
- 37:06Actually, it's worse.
- 37:07Now all those people that flew on spirit are gonna have to find another low cost carrier.
- 37:12And there are some.
- 37:13You have Frontier, you have Allegiant.
- 37:16I've flown Allegiant before.
- 37:17Great planes, new planes, very clean, just no frills.
- 37:21Um, what's another one?
- 37:22Other than Frontier and Allegiant, there's a couple more.
- 37:26I think.
- 37:26Yeah, there are a couple more options, but Spirit is gone, and they say they will repurpose those planes.
- 37:32But maybe those scenes at the gates will be better than what they were at Spirit Airlines.
- 37:39So I guess it's gone.
- 37:40The unfortunately, 17,000 employees are without a job, but they knew it was coming.
- 37:46They pretty much saw the writing on the wall uh for the last several years with Spirit.
- 37:51Spirit blamed the price of gas as the reason why.
- 37:54And of course, uh, you know, most airlines, they they will hedge oil and gas purchases six, eight months out, then they buy it when the market is low so that they can average the cost out and and keep things affordable.
- 38:08Spirit didn't do that.
- 38:09And because of that, they are now out of business.
- 38:12And that's the way it goes.
- 38:13It should be pointed out, too.
- 38:15They went bankrupt twice in the past year leading up to this.
- 38:19So I I listen, it's undeniable that higher gas prices didn't help, you know, it did not help, but they were going to go bankrupt again, regardless.
- 38:28And in fact, I believe that every single major American airline in existence right now has gone bankrupt at least once in the past 30 years.
- 38:37So it it's unfortunately very common.
- 38:39And I'd like to one I think m uh Trump mentioned that there was a possible bailout, and I'm glad that didn't happen.
- 38:46I wanna I want to start seeing banks fail, uh, airlines fail, whatever it is.
- 38:51The government needs to get out of that business of propping up these companies.
- 38:55The thing is, too.
- 38:55I mean, once it fails, its assets are gonna get bought up probably by another low carrier airline.
- 39:01So, you know, there's still gonna be net job losses and a huge net destruction of wells, but it's not like everything's going away forever, like like bankrupt does not necessarily doesn't always mean uh the the company disappears forever.
- 39:15It can be taken over by someone else and so on and so forth.
- 39:18So they may keep the brand as well.
- 39:20And they might keep the brand.
- 39:21I don't know who would want that brand, but they might keep it.
- 39:23I was hoping if they were gonna bail it out, it would be to turn it into like a deportation airline only kind of thing, which would have been cool.
- 39:30But um, it was funny because on social media, Elizabeth Warren was talking about how horrible it was that they were going out of business, and then people were pointing out that the year prior, she was praising the Biden administration for blocking the merger.
- 39:43Um and the merger, too.
- 39:45I think you know, they claimed it was on like anti-monopoly grounds.
- 39:48I think they only would have had something like eight percent market share.
- 39:51And there was a there was another company that the Biden DOJ also prevented from merging with another company.
- 39:56It was called iRobot.
- 39:58Um they do what's it called?
- 39:59The um what are they called?
- 40:02The uh I'm looking at her at the Roomba.
- 40:04They make a group uh uh the robot hell, you know, uh appliances, and they were trying to merge with Amazon.com, and it was blocked again on Monopoly grounds.
- 40:13Um, right after that fails, the company goes bankrupt, and then a major Chinese company buys it up.
- 40:19And now you know, so now our number one, you know, robotics home appliances company was formerly American-owned, would have been American-owned by Amazon, is now owned by one of America's enemies.
- 40:30So that's the result of their policy.
- 40:31I think you're on to something with the deportation airlines.
- 40:35I think we need to pitch this.
- 40:36Yeah, yeah.
- 40:37No round trip airfares, one way only.

- 42:21Well, let's move into Cole Allen.
- 42:21Well, let's move into Cole Allen.
- 42:25He was the assassin that was there at the Hilton in Washington, D.C.
- 42:25He was the assassin that was there at the Hilton in Washington, D.C.
- 42:29last week.
- 42:29last week.
- 42:30It really didn't seem to phase Donald Trump at all.
- 42:32No.
- 42:33It didn't that night, but then this week it's like it never even happened.
- 42:37But it did, and we have found out some more information about this guy.
- 42:41And really, he's just trying to be a hero, a martyr is what he's trying to do, isn't it?
- 42:45Well, what's amazing is he fought the first two Trumpist vaccination attempts.
- 42:50And then by first two, I mean Butler and then the golf course one.
- 42:53There's actually more than a dozen.
- 42:55But you know, I'm including some that admittedly are kind of half-assed.
- 42:59But there have been far more than just the three we think of.
- 43:03But um he thought the first two were staged.
- 43:06So he wanted to do the only real one.
- 43:08And then immediately after doing so, it it I mean, and I'm just going off social media comments here, but it seems like a majority of liberals also think this one was staged.
- 43:16Right.
- 43:17So that's gotta be the most frustrating thing ever when you risk when you basically destroy your entire life to try to do something that everyone goes, oh, you're just a right-wing plant.
- 43:25Which I will say is the most satisfying outcome.
- 43:29Did you happen to see over the weekend that this guy running for Senate in Pennsylvania was arrested for threatening Donald Trump and John Fetterman, Fetterman's 13-year-old daughter as well.
- 43:40Yeah, there's uh a lot of kooks up there.
- 43:43The thing about Fetterman is Fetterman's an interesting case study in politics in what matters more.
- 43:48Is it rhetoric or your actual voting record?
- 43:51And we've said this, I feel like every week on the show that Fetterman comes up.
- 43:54Well, we said it a lot.
- 43:55Yes.
- 43:56Yes, he says the right things on Fox News, but once he actually goes to vote, I mean, under Biden, it was 90 plus percent in favor of Biden.
- 44:04And I I think, you know, in the past few years under Trump, I think he is the Democrat that has broken with the party the most in the Senate, but he's still it's still like 75 plus percent he's voting with his party.
- 44:18So uh, you know, it does seem that rhetoric is more important in um determining voter opinions than is actual policy.
- 44:28And this look like the the biggest proof is that his approval rating has shifted more than a hundred points among Democrats, and that when he got elected, it was almost universal support among Democrats.
- 44:41He's now underwater with Democrats, but has a positive approval rating among Republicans, yeah, which is a crazy situation to be in for him.
- 44:48Well, Fetterman has been very supportive of what Donald Trump is doing in Iran, and he was very supportive of Israel, and I think those things have made conservatives really pay attention to Fetterman because he is on target on both of those ideas from a conservative standpoint, not from the left.
- 45:05And I think those two things alone are what give you those numbers.
- 45:08Let's listen to special agent, former special agent Johnny Gruosing of the FBI talking about Cole Allen.
- 45:16Some of Allen's writing, you know, he said uh that uh what happens with the president with the elected officials is now on his hands.
- 45:26So he's putting himself as this martyr, as this patriot, uh, is the only one who can really fix this thing that's broken.
- 45:36And that's very dangerous.
- 45:37It's scattered instead of focused.
- 45:40Which is a good thing.
- 45:41You know, if if he would have been focused, he would have uh probably been more successful.
- 45:46Yeah, the guy didn't have much of a plan, did he, Matt?
- 45:49So who is that talking about who I missed uh Johnny Gruosing, uh former uh special agent for the FBI.
- 45:56Johnny Gruosing is his name, talking about Cole Allen, the assassin.
- 46:00Oh, yeah, no, that was uh probably the worst planned uh assassination attempts I've ever seen.
- 46:04Not like I've seen very many, but uh go you know, doing the Naruto run through security probably wasn't the best run.
- 46:11No, that wasn't a good plan.
- 46:12No, it didn't.
- 46:12Although it was it was, I mean, it was, I'm not gonna lie, it was a funny clip, but you know, you gotta you know, ignore what happened afterwards.
- 46:21Yeah, and thank God that the um you know the Secret Service did what they were supposed to do, and now they are going to get paid because DHS is funded.
- 46:29Thankfully, that that government shutdown of 76 days is now over.
- 46:34I don't know if you saw this over the weekend, but there was oligarchy conferences, fight oligarchy conferences going on.
- 46:41They had one in Minneapolis, they also had one in Detroit on Sunday, and guess who was there?
- 46:47It was Bernie Sanders.
- 46:49He was the one leading this, and let's start off with this audio from Bernie Sanders, so you can get an idea.
- 46:55I want to thank you all for the role that you have played in standing up to Trump's domestic army called ICE.
- 47:12There is a reason why the last No Kings rally was scented at your state capitol in St.
- 47:19Paul.
- 47:23And why a hundred and fifty thousand people came out to that rally.
- 47:32Minnesota's grassroots resistance to the illegal, unconstitutional and brutal actions of ICE inspired the entire nation.
- 47:45Matt, when you have people communist in particular, going around the country speaking like this, you're going to continue to get Cole Allen's Butler P.A.'s, the golf course in Florida.
- 47:55Those things are going to continue.
- 47:57And I think last week on the show you mentioned, there's actually been like 17 assassination attempts.
- 48:02But we really only know about three.
- 48:05Yeah, I think I still have 19 total.
- 48:07I mean, and any other some of them are like, you know, a guy tries to mail race into Trump.
- 48:13Like things that never had any conceivable um way of even ever being successful, but still still do count as attempts.
- 48:22Um I mean, the one that I think most notable was his first campaign in 2016.
- 48:28There was a guy who got close to him, tried to grab a cop's gun, and it's only because he couldn't unholster it properly that he was tackled in time.
- 48:36But he hit the, you know, Trump could have been killed 10 years ago in that case that I don't think even most people are aware of or even remember.
- 48:42Um, as for the whole being against oligarchy, um, it's one of those things where they they just are upset about it because they want to be oligarchs themselves.
- 48:50Yeah.
- 48:51To have centralized power, to have socialism or communism, you basically need that.
- 48:55It's a prerequisite.
- 48:56So they're they're not against it, they're just against who's doing it.
- 48:59Well, Minnesota Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan is running for the U.S.
- 49:00Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan is running for the U.S.
- 49:03Senate.
- 49:03Senate.
- 49:04She was there speaking on in the fight oligarchy conference.
- 49:04She was there speaking on in the fight oligarchy conference.
- 49:08She was there with Bernie Sanders, and here are some of her words.
- 49:08She was there with Bernie Sanders, and here are some of her words.
- 49:11The very first vote in the second Trump administration that he brought forward was for the Lincoln Riley Act.
- 49:11The very first vote in the second Trump administration that he brought forward was for the Lakin Riley Act.
- 49:18It was one of his biggest priorities.
- 49:19It was one of his biggest priorities.
- 49:23It stripped due process away from immigrants.
- 49:26Allowed for the indefinite detention of adults and
- 49:26Allowed for the indefinite detention of adults and children.
- 49:31And was the green light to give ice unprecedented power to totally terrorize our communities.
- 49:40And I want to be clear.
- 49:42That there is a straight line from the Lakin Riley Act vote to what we saw in the streets of our communities.
- 49:52Now Lake and Riley Act really has nothing to do with any of that.
- 49:56Did you hear the people boo when she brought up the Lake and Riley Act?
- 50:00That's how sick these people are.
- 50:02Lakin Riley was the young lady in Georgia that was killed by an illegal immigrant.
- 50:08You know, that's how bad these communists are.
- 50:10Yeah, and all the consequences she lists in the Lincoln Riley Act.
- 50:18Yeah, me too.
- 50:19Yes.
- 50:23Listen, obviously we believe in due process, but when it's yeah, we want due process, but boy, do we really want it for uh Venezuelan rapists?
- 50:33It's like, all right, it's a little weird.
- 50:35Um I'm for due process for American citizens, but if you break the rules to get in here, I don't think you should get it.
- 50:41And uh to any liberal listening to this saying, well, blah blah blah, court ruling says that illegals actually have the same right to due process.
- 50:49I just don't care.
- 50:50Uh, this is my opinion.
- 50:51I don't care.
- 50:52I don't think they should have the right anyway.
- 50:53Well, let's go on to voting in North Carolina and a little bit from Minnesota Governor Tim Walls in this.
- 51:00This is Kaylee McEnaney from Saturday on Fox News.
- 51:04A voting calamity in North Carolina, the State Board of Elections entered more than seven million voter records through a federal database.
- 51:11The results about 34,000 dead people on the state voter rolls.
- 51:17The head of the State Board of Elections responding, quote, while we expect it to find some cases, this is much higher than we anticipated.
- 51:23And while there are dead people on voter rolls in North Carolina, over in Minnesota, Governor Tim Walls passed automatic voter registration.
- 51:30We protected everyone's right to participate in our democracy by making your right to vote easier.
- 51:37We've established automatic voter registration.
- 51:41Nothing good is gonna happen out of that in Minnesota.
- 51:44But let's go back to North Carolina real quick.
- 51:4634,000 dead voters.
- 51:50And the Department of Justice has tried to get this information from every state.
- 51:54The only people cooperating are the states that are Republican.
- 51:58And the Democrat Democrat states are not.
- 52:01They are suing trying to get this information.
- 52:03The 34,000 dead people still on the voter rolls in North Carolina.
- 52:07That too is another problem going into the midterm election.
- 52:11I saw a graphic over um the weekend, and I haven't fact checked it, but it intuitively seems true that um, you know, there are states that require voter ID, and those are Donald Trump won every single one of those states.
- 52:24He lost every single state that doesn't require voter ID.
- 52:28And you know, I guess the um the innocent explanation would just be like, well, liberal states are against it, but they would have gone left anyway.
- 52:36But it it sure is a bit of an interesting correlation that is literally a hundred percent in both directions.
- 52:41Yeah, well, it's 36 states they require ID.
- 52:44And they and the majority of them are Republican.
- 52:47The the ones that don't are two to one registered Democrat to Republican, so you know that's the way those numbers but I interrupted you.
- 52:55Go ahead.
- 52:55I I I think I can't remember announced it on the show that I have been doing work with DHS recently.
- 53:00And no, we didn't we did not?
- 53:02Okay.
- 53:02Well, I I can't actually say the position I'm in, but I I'm I know the HS for a few moments.
- 53:07And that's why I never mentioned it because I didn't know if you wanted thousands and thousands to know that.
- 53:12So I'm working with the I just you know, I can't say what specifically, but during the training, there was an example we were going through where we were watching someone's immigration interview, and it was a student who was not a citizen, and it turned out he was registered to vote and had voted a presidential election.
- 53:33Uh, and you know, the the person with DHS interviewing him had brought this up to the guy and had him explain how this happened, and he tried to play it off as just being a mix-up or oh, I forgot I couldn't register to vote.
- 53:46But literally the process was he was at a he was at a college campus, there was a booth to register for voters.
- 53:53He, a non-citizen, just put down his information, and he was automatically registered to vote and was able to vote in an election.
- 54:00And there's no cross-referencing to anything.
- 54:03He just put his name down in his address, and that was all it took.
- 54:07So uh, yeah, it's pretty easy to vote illegally in this country.
- 54:12Yeah, we gotta shore that up one way or another.
- 54:14Last story we have time for tonight is another Gotti is going to prison up there close to you.
- 54:21You're up in New Jersey, so this is just across the water there from you, I guess, in New York.
- 54:26Uh, this is the 16th Gotti to go to prison.
- 54:29The grandson of John Gotti, this guy stole from you and me during COVID.
- 54:35Over a million dollars.
- 54:36Listen to this story.
- 54:37The grandson of John Gotti was sentenced to 15 months in prison.
- 54:41Carmine Agnello pled guilty to COVID relief fraud.
- 54:44Your thoughts are going to spend year over year in prison.
- 54:47That's all right.
- 54:48Could things could be worse.
- 54:49Carmine will be the 16th member of his family to go to jail.
- 54:52His lawyer Jeffrey Lickman says the actual sentence will be shorter.
- 54:57The actual time spent on a 15-month sentence now is approximately four or five months, I expect.
- 55:02Agnello admitted to taking over a million dollars in COVID relief funds.
- 55:06He stated in the courtroom that it was, quote, wrong, selfish, and criminal.
- 55:10His life has been has been wrecked, uh, I would say over the last few years due to his own actions.
- 55:16The 40-year-old has to pay back over 1.2 million dollars in restitution to the small business administration.
- 55:22During the pandemic, he received the loans for his business, crown auto parts and recycling, and used the funds to enrich himself and fund a gambling.
- 55:31Okay, I'm gonna stop it right there because of the the business that he has.
- 55:35Crown recycling and automotive.
- 55:37I can only imagine.
- 55:39Yeah.
- 55:40It's so the most stereotypical mob business is gonna.
- 55:43I I will say though, you could make a case in his defense that him doing this kind of fraud, like at least prevented him from doing fraud that results in people getting killed.
- 55:51Yeah, I guess so.
- 55:52Maybe this saved lives.
- 55:54We don't know.
- 55:54And the good news on this story.
- 55:56Do you remember his mom, Vicky, who was on the uh show, the reality television show with the her boys?
- 56:00The reality television show with her boys.
- 56:03She needs she needs a kidney, and he is giving one to her.
- 56:04She needs a kidney, and he is giving one to her.
- 56:07Is it like mob wives or something?
- 56:07Is it like mob wives or something?
- 56:09No, that she had her own.
- 56:09No, that she had her own.
- 56:11Oh, she did.
- 56:12I know we did.
- 56:13Yeah, you should you should go back and watch that.
- 56:13Yeah, you should go back and watch that.
- 56:15It's been a while.
- 56:15It's been a while, but that's uh give it a watch.
- 56:17We're out of time here, Matt.
- 56:17We're out of time here, Matt.
- 56:19Thank you for joining us again this week and every week.

- 56:23We'll watch everything that happens this week, and we'll come back Monday night next week and we'll talk about it again.
- 56:28And don't forget, you were told two.
- 56:28And don't forget, you were told 2,000 years ago that you are the salt of the earth, and salt without flavor, it has no value.
- 56:35So whatever you do, keep being salty.
- 56:38Have a great night.
- 56:38There is only one truth.
- 56:40You've been listening to The Truth Be Told with Booker Scott on America Out Loud.
