- 0:00SPEAKER_00: I do want to say thank you to Pony Joe on one thing because I was just talking about the guy locally, and I don't know what gas station it was at, but the guy locally who went to put gas in his vehicle and the pump, the actual like the the pump from the the machine through the car.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that that is spraying everywhere.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: A leak.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's all over the floor, it's up in the air, it's all over.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: And Pony Joe says most places have an emergency shutoff button.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: The thing is, I have I have no clue where it is.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: I panic, you probably wouldn't find it.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Wouldn't know what to do.
- 0:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: Well, I guess in this case, run inside and say, shut it off, get it up.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: I feel like that's something I need to learn, though.
- 0:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, probably not a bad thing to know.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: I and forgive my confusion.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: When you said fuel pump, I instantly thought on the vehicle, not the pump that we pumped the gas from.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: I was wondering, because some of your comments that you were saying, I was like, why would what is the thing about fixing the car?
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: Well, all those are very true.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: I mean, imagine if it was like you were what what's worse, Allie?
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: Here's one for you.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: Actually, I know what's worse.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: Go ahead.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: So imagine you got the hose.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: We're talking the one, you know, the pump that you stand there and look at and go, it's stopped.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: And you're pumping away.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: Or that leaking, or underneath your vehicle, and you can't get to it because it's the pump on your vehicle, the fuel pump that, you know, makes gas go from the tank to the engine.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: Underneath your vehicle.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well, that's not because that bill is on you.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: This one you'll get refunded.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: You'll be all right.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna stink for days, but yes.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: Did you know today is the start of uh breast cancer awareness month?
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: It's October now.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: I did.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: I did.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: Just looked at that.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: I was like, oh yeah, that's this month.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: I really don't love like back in the day, we used to have the Susan G.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: Comen race and the run, and you don't you don't see a lot of 5K's anymore.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: Did you ever notice that?
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: It used to be 5K Central.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: Every oh, speaking of wine glass marathon is this weekend.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: You took the words out of my mouth.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: But you don't see that many 5Ks, although you will see the wine glass 5K this weekend.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: That'll shut everything down.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: But uh back in the day, I used to MC that.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: And then they took it to a corporate level.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: This was during COVID.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: And they took it to Syracuse.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: And I just don't I think it's kind of never returned down here.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: They didn't.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: We used to have literally thousands of, and this is not a joke, this is no exaggeration.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: Literally thousands of people would all convene on uh the Shimong Canal building downtown.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: And I remember because one year you were actually out of town, and I got to host it with TJ, our coworker, and it was an impressive look.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: And then when they pulled it out and put it in corporate up in Syracuse, not our corporate, their corporate or whatever, it's like they forgot we existed.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: I could be wrong on this.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: I just don't feel like that we're getting the support for women who have breast cancer like we used to.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I agree.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: And and I know that we have the Fault Cancer Center.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: I know that there's other things, like there's somebody on I it's like I know her kind of who runs on my feet and I know she's battling that right now.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: But I wonder, yeah, she gets support from her family and friends, but is she getting the support from an organization?
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Well, I don't know.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: Because back in the day, Susan G.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: Comen, they would do things like they would give you free wigs.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: They would take you if you couldn't get from your apartment.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: Maybe you're a single person, and you know, if you have chemo, you're so sick, you're so weak, like driving is not something you want to do.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: They would take you to your appointment to get your wig fitted, all those different things, your bra fittings, all that.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: And I And just the general support that they were right, and I mean, yes, are, but well, I don't know to what level anymore down here.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: I don't know if that exists.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: Maybe somebody can answer that.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: Maybe I'm speaking out of turn here because that really just pees me right off.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: Do you guys who anyone who has had breast cancer in the past couple years, since COVID, though.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: It has to be since COVID.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: Are you getting the support that you feel like you needed because from Coleman.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: From Coleman.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: Because remember, we used to have bikers for boobies.
- 3:55SPEAKER_01: We had listeners that made hats that had the boobs on them.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: Oh, I loved it.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: It was great.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was it was taking something really crappy and making it so much fun.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: Maybe I am totally speaking out of turn.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: I think we should have a New York State Civil War.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: Somewhere there's a Mason Dixon line.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: And if they're up in Syracuse and Rochester, Buffalo doesn't forget about us.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: I know Heather's listening right now.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: But somewhere up in Rochester, uh, Syracuse in there, if if stuff moves up there, like the decision making, they're like Twin Sears, there's nothing down there.
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: Until you want to have a wine tour, and then all of a sudden you're like, Let's go down there.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: Oh, by the way, thirty four ninety, they did the same with the bowling event.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: They used to do a th a bowling event, took that away too.
- 4:36SPEAKER_01: Remember that, yes.
