Transcript
- 0:10Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, Welcome to Pink Shade. It's Wednesday. It's Welcome
- 0:15Speaker 1: to Platfel Wednesday. It's whitey Wednesday, It's waspy Wednesday, It's
- 0:19Speaker 1: wacky Wednesday. It's all the things, It's all the things.
- 0:23Speaker 1: How are you doing, Kimberly.
- 0:24Speaker 2: We're gonna come up with something next week on our
- 0:26Speaker 2: very well be better.
- 0:32Speaker 1: If you guys don't know, I have been doing a
- 0:34Speaker 1: Welcome to platfeild rewatch over on Pink Shade Prime with Keisha,
- 0:38Speaker 1: who's never seen any of it before. So that's been
- 0:41Speaker 1: quite a journey to go through it with fresh eyes.
- 0:45Speaker 1: But normally I record both Platfells on the same day,
- 0:49Speaker 1: and it's really got me not coming and going. Yeah,
- 0:54Speaker 1: today I already recorded with Keisha, and today I'm recording
- 0:57Speaker 1: it on a separate day, so I'm very fresh with
- 0:59Speaker 1: my plath Hatred for the current season instead of four
- 1:03Speaker 1: seasons back.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Yeah, and we finally got to hear you tell Keisha
- 1:08Speaker 2: who Lydia was dating. Who I had forgotten. I mean,
- 1:12Speaker 2: I kind of assumed it was one of Olivia's siblings,
- 1:15Speaker 2: but I wish we could have seen more. I can't
- 1:18Speaker 2: believe they never addressed that.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Yeah, it's never addressed. And he's only around this one season, Nathan,
- 1:26Speaker 1: Olivia's brother, and then he becomes real problematic. I'm one
- 1:32Speaker 1: hundred percent sure he gets a dui and his Instagram
- 1:37Speaker 1: turns into like no homo, like real, my god, his
- 1:42Speaker 1: instagram turns real hateful. He goes right back to ye. Yeah,
- 1:47Speaker 1: he did his roum spring and he went right back.
- 1:49Speaker 2: That seems to be what it happens because hate and
- 1:54Speaker 2: control is still a type of security for the people.
- 1:59Speaker 2: And that's what someone was talking about on Reddit how
- 2:02Speaker 2: it was like the first few seasons were so fun
- 2:06Speaker 2: because it was like the kids in Florida like living
- 2:09Speaker 2: their best, like exploring try and coke allegedly the drink
- 2:14Speaker 2: the drink. I meant, yeah, yeah, and but like now
- 2:19Speaker 2: it's to see them all go back into the fold.
- 2:22Speaker 2: It's just not and then blame everything on Olivia. Like
- 2:26Speaker 2: that's just so frustrating.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I did like this episode where Teagan said, well, that'll
- 2:32Speaker 1: be a good closure for you and for her, Like
- 2:34Speaker 1: Tagan is like because now I'm starting to see what
- 2:36Speaker 1: she went through.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Yeah, And other people on redditt are finally seeing it.
- 2:41Speaker 2: They're like, huh, I guess I was wrong and Olivia
- 2:45Speaker 2: wasn't the problem because the common denominator here is ethan. Oh,
- 2:49Speaker 2: there were always some Olivia haters on Reddit.
- 2:53Speaker 1: There's a lot of Olivia haters. I I think I
- 2:56Speaker 1: was telling you when we recorded for ninety Day Fiance,
- 3:01Speaker 1: a person they created this Sorry our feet is glitching.
- 3:05Speaker 1: So hopefully it's not glitching when people are hearing or
- 3:07Speaker 1: watching it, but every so often my face just freezes
- 3:10Speaker 1: and it's just not cute. Uh On what was I saying, Okay,
- 3:17Speaker 1: that there's a there's a content creator that's putting out
- 3:20Speaker 1: stuff and it's taking a lot of my interview stuff
- 3:23Speaker 1: from Olivia.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah yeah.
- 3:26Speaker 1: And they weren't giving me any credit. So now I've
- 3:29Speaker 1: gone through and looked and all the clips that are mine,
- 3:31Speaker 1: which are most of them are they gave me credit
- 3:35Speaker 1: so great that maybe they'll take people to my YouTube whatever.
- 3:38Speaker 1: But there are a lot of people in those comments
- 3:40Speaker 1: like why won't this girl just go away? And yeah,
- 3:43Speaker 1: let it go. She doesn't.
- 3:47Speaker 2: She doesn't have to. It's her experience. Also, there's a
- 3:51Speaker 2: lot of people who are like, she hates the family,
- 3:53Speaker 2: which she's using their last name, and that that even
- 3:57Speaker 2: though she's explained that this is her professional name. Now
- 4:00Speaker 2: that's how people know her, and it's difficult to change
- 4:03Speaker 2: your last name. Yeah, people will just love to hate
- 4:06Speaker 2: the woman. I say that as someone who hates Kim Plath,
- 4:11Speaker 2: So I am one of those people who loves to
- 4:14Speaker 2: hate the woman if it's Kim Plath.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Speaking of hating women, I've been listening to the podcast
- 4:23Speaker 1: loves Trapped.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's.
- 4:27Speaker 1: That the guy Clayton who is the Bachelor, and this
- 4:29Speaker 1: woman who like claimed he got her pregnant and then
- 4:33Speaker 1: turns out there's like four other guys she did this too,
- 4:36Speaker 1: and it is really a it's very interesting. As I'm
- 4:40Speaker 1: getting to the end, the podcast host, who is a woman, says,
- 4:44Speaker 1: you know, we've been very careful not to use the
- 4:47Speaker 1: word and then you have a lot of clips people
- 4:49Speaker 1: going this bitch is crazy, she's crazy. Well, this lady
- 4:52Speaker 1: is crazy, she said, because in general, you believe women.
- 4:57Speaker 1: And even one of her victims said, like his own
- 5:01Speaker 1: mother one percent did not believe him. His own mother
- 5:04Speaker 1: was like, I know, you must have abused this girl
- 5:06Speaker 1: and gotten her pregnant, and why would she say that?
- 5:08Speaker 1: And that He's like, my own mother doesn't believe me, you.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Know, which says a lot about you actually, Like if
- 5:16Speaker 2: your mom doesn't believe you.
- 5:18Speaker 1: It's it's because this girl did like a ted X
- 5:21Speaker 1: talk about him and it was all one hundred percent fabricated,
- 5:27Speaker 1: like they you know.
- 5:28Speaker 2: It's wild.
- 5:29Speaker 1: A lot of this stuff is just so many documents
- 5:31Speaker 1: that she mocked up and fabricated, and their internet salute
- 5:35Speaker 1: Schoen like this is not her sonogram and they're going
- 5:38Speaker 1: to find out like she was using her sister's sonogram,
- 5:40Speaker 1: like it's it's I was thinking, like, oh, I already
- 5:44Speaker 1: know this story. How are they gonna make it? It's
- 5:46Speaker 1: like twelve episodes and there's probably like eight bonus episodes.
- 5:49Speaker 1: It's so much content, and I was like, how are
- 5:51Speaker 1: they going to make this this long? Like I already
- 5:53Speaker 1: know the story. I only knew a third of the story,
- 5:55Speaker 1: Like it's really good.
- 5:57Speaker 2: What was her end goal?
- 5:59Speaker 1: Well, well, it was another thing that's interesting they're saying
- 6:02Speaker 1: here towards the end is like of all the times
- 6:05Speaker 1: this woman worked on this podcast nine months or whatever,
- 6:08Speaker 1: she says, you know, we tried so hard. And Dave Neil,
- 6:12Speaker 1: who's the other podcaster, who was helping break the case.
- 6:15Speaker 1: And all that, we kept trying to find people that
- 6:17Speaker 1: would come forward for this girl, her name was Laura
- 6:20Speaker 1: Owen's come forward for her side to say I knew
- 6:21Speaker 1: we're in high school, she was my best friend. Like I,
- 6:24Speaker 1: this is just not who she is, or somebody to
- 6:27Speaker 1: come with some sort of character witness for her. It's like, literally,
- 6:32Speaker 1: not one person, we can't find one person. But then
- 6:35Speaker 1: this one person did come forward and said we were
- 6:36Speaker 1: friends in high school, and all I could tell you
- 6:39Speaker 1: she always wanted to be famous, and her parents were
- 6:42Speaker 1: local celebrities, and she always wanted to be famous. And
- 6:46Speaker 1: when I saw this thing about the Bachelor because it
- 6:48Speaker 1: was in our town, I was like, Wow, that's crazy.
- 6:50Speaker 1: And then she posted about it and I was like, ah,
- 6:54Speaker 1: that's how she's going to get famous, right, But she'd
- 6:58Speaker 1: done this the exact same thing to three other people
- 7:00Speaker 1: before him that weren't famous people. This one just happened
- 7:03Speaker 1: to be famous.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Wow.
- 7:05Speaker 1: I mean, it's crazy the stuff that, like I thought
- 7:07Speaker 1: I knew because I thought I knew the whole story,
- 7:09Speaker 1: but I don't know. It's every episode is really really good.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Even the bonus stuff is good it's a lot of
- 7:14Speaker 1: like bodycam footage from the cops which you can just
- 7:17Speaker 1: hear it going to like and her mom is like,
- 7:20Speaker 1: you know, this is part of the conspiracy, just like
- 7:25Speaker 1: the Gilg Beach murders or puff Daddy what huh what
- 7:31Speaker 1: how are those things connected to this woman faking pregnancies
- 7:34Speaker 1: with four different men? Huh? Okay, mom trying to get
- 7:39Speaker 1: not to use that word. But anyway, it's fascinating. So
- 7:45Speaker 1: I ten out of ten recommend it. And again it
- 7:47Speaker 1: looks like a lot, and it is a lot, but
- 7:49Speaker 1: like I just can't like wait to the get to
- 7:50Speaker 1: the next episode. Yeah, yeah, I love it, okay, And
- 7:54Speaker 1: it is very kind of up to date current, like yeah,
- 7:57Speaker 1: it's very much like into twenty twenty six now and
- 7:59Speaker 1: it starts in like twenty three. Yeah, So do you
- 8:03Speaker 1: have any book or podcast recommendations while we're at it.
- 8:06Speaker 2: No, Pimple Watch.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Looks better than yesterday.
- 8:14Speaker 2: It kind of broke a little bit, like it broke out.
- 8:18Speaker 2: It wanted to be free and it had It has
- 8:23Speaker 2: a voice that needs to sing to the world, much
- 8:26Speaker 2: like Lydia, like it needs to sing its song to Jesus.
- 8:31Speaker 2: And so it's it needed to come to the surface to.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Do that's weird. It'since you're Jewish, but go ahead.
- 8:36Speaker 2: I know it's it's a Christian pimple on my face.
- 8:40Speaker 2: That's why we don't coexist because I'm Jewish in my
- 8:45Speaker 2: essence is Jewish on a cellular level level, I'm Jewish,
- 8:49Speaker 2: but this pimple is born again and evangelical, like really
- 8:57Speaker 2: into it might speaking tongues. Oh yeah, like Asia and
- 9:04Speaker 2: all the geese in the town. It looks better, it
- 9:06Speaker 2: looks better.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Good. Oh, I can't wait to see you on Thursdays.

- 11:31Speaker 1: to Platform, season eight, episode eleven. Stir the pot.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Yeah, And the screener it said stir the post, and
- 11:41Speaker 2: I was like, that's not an expression.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Did you say that? Yeah? Well then my brain corrected
- 11:47Speaker 1: it because I yeah, stirred the pot because I saw
- 11:49Speaker 1: the screener.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, stir the post.
- 11:53Speaker 1: This to me is a very interesting episode because if
- 11:56Speaker 1: we harken back to episode one. In eight, episode one,
- 12:02Speaker 1: we are just like, yes, Lydia and Zach, Yes, go
- 12:05Speaker 1: in there. You tell these people what's what you don't
- 12:07Speaker 1: And now I'm like, you guys need to sell your role,
- 12:10Speaker 1: like yeah, take it out or not. Lydia and Zach Yeah.
- 12:13Speaker 2: And I've been pretty die hard like writing for them,
- 12:17Speaker 2: and I might need to step back a tiny bit.
- 12:22Speaker 1: I yeah, yeah, it's.
- 12:24Speaker 2: But again, this Zach, I don't know his family is
- 12:29Speaker 2: like Lydia, being like this is how she was raised
- 12:32Speaker 2: and Kim ingrained this in her. Zach has a whole
- 12:37Speaker 2: other issues.
- 12:39Speaker 1: He's from a very Christian family, but I don't think
- 12:41Speaker 1: they're like fundamentalists like this. And he has like two
- 12:44Speaker 1: sisters and that's it.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Okay.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Yeah, but they have moved to Colorado, so I think
- 12:48Speaker 1: after this they were like, we're getting the fuck out
- 12:50Speaker 1: of here.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I don't blame them.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Season eight, episode eleven started the pot or start of
- 12:55Speaker 1: the post depending. They start with Kim the therapy with
- 12:59Speaker 1: doctor Tom and she's, you know, saying where we left
- 13:03Speaker 1: her with talking about Joshua and of course the responsibility
- 13:07Speaker 1: and the burden and all that, and doctor ty says,
- 13:09Speaker 1: you are taking on a lot of responsibility for this.
- 13:14Speaker 1: You had a loss, but everyone else also had a loss.
- 13:17Speaker 1: It's a different loss for each person. And she says,
- 13:21Speaker 1: I'm just so hurt about the pain that I've caused
- 13:23Speaker 1: everybody else. And doctor Tye says, are you upset about
- 13:28Speaker 1: lydia because she went public with it? Yes, And Kim says, well,
- 13:34Speaker 1: that's a separate issue. That's a separate The whole thing
- 13:36Speaker 1: with Joshua and the family is a separate issue of
- 13:38Speaker 1: Lydia going public. I'm like, I disagree and are talking
- 13:43Speaker 1: to Kim says, it broke my heart to hear Lydia
- 13:46Speaker 1: say she can't talk to me about it because I
- 13:49Speaker 1: try to give my older kids space, but I'm there
- 13:51Speaker 1: for them. And at the same time, I have to
- 13:54Speaker 1: set boundaries with Lydia now for what she can and
- 13:57Speaker 1: cannot talk publicly about. Well, she's twenty one years old.
- 14:02Speaker 1: She could talk publicly about whatever the bucks.
- 14:04Speaker 2: She wants, totally. It was her experience also that happened
- 14:08Speaker 2: after so like you are saying, I feel bad that
- 14:12Speaker 2: she couldn't talk to me, but now I need to
- 14:14Speaker 2: set boundaries with her. Those are two separate issues. Like
- 14:20Speaker 2: she did like she couldn't come to you, and that's
- 14:23Speaker 2: why she spoke publicly about it. She had to publicly
- 14:27Speaker 2: call you out to get you to talk about this,
- 14:29Speaker 2: and yeah, true therapy and get you into therapy after
- 14:33Speaker 2: all these years because you were so stubborn and wouldn't
- 14:36Speaker 2: do it.
- 14:37Speaker 1: You know, It's interesting, she says about the giving the
- 14:39Speaker 1: older kids space, and that just sort of reminds me
- 14:41Speaker 1: a few episodes back when Barry said, Amber, she's just
- 14:45Speaker 1: an adult. Now we just deal with her. She's sixty friend,
- 14:48Speaker 1: she's my buddy, buddy, Ty.
- 14:52Speaker 2: They are really swinging from one side of the pendulum
- 14:55Speaker 2: to the other. The parents, it's just they are crazy.
- 14:58Speaker 2: There's no middle ground of healthy, normal parenting.
- 15:03Speaker 1: That's such a great point. That is such a great point.
- 15:06Speaker 1: There is no middle ground. It is big swings, big swings.
- 15:10Speaker 2: I'm either teaching them to have a prayer closet and
- 15:13Speaker 2: their sinners and they are my maid, or I'm buying
- 15:17Speaker 2: them booze underage allegedly.
- 15:21Speaker 1: So Ty says, right now, they need their mother because
- 15:25Speaker 1: they lost a sibling, but they lost you also at
- 15:29Speaker 1: that time, maybe you were present but not available, which
- 15:33Speaker 1: of course she has said that, And it would be important,
- 15:38Speaker 1: I think, for you to allow them some space to
- 15:40Speaker 1: say whatever they need to say. And it may be
- 15:43Speaker 1: tough for you, and even if they give you a
- 15:46Speaker 1: play by play, you have to sit through it and
- 15:49Speaker 1: don't get up and walk out and leave. They need,
- 15:52Speaker 1: they need you to hear it.
- 15:56Speaker 2: I feel like she already knows Kim so well, and
- 15:58Speaker 2: this is their first there session is she calling in
- 16:03Speaker 2: some of what Micah said about Kim.
- 16:06Speaker 1: She could be, but she could just be a watcher
- 16:08Speaker 1: of the show.
- 16:09Speaker 2: That's true. She's good. I love her. I hope her
- 16:14Speaker 2: business just goes straight up, that.
- 16:16Speaker 1: She would go see her Zoom calls because yeah, and
- 16:20Speaker 1: she says, grief, this is interesting. I've never heard this phrase.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Grief is internal, but mourning is external.
- 16:28Speaker 3: M so.
- 16:31Speaker 1: And Kim says, but how does saying things out loud?
- 16:34Speaker 1: How does that help? And Ty says, because it releases it,
- 16:38Speaker 1: It gets it out from inside. And you know, without
- 16:41Speaker 1: a shadow of doubt, you're going to have to do this.
- 16:42Speaker 1: You're going to have to sit and talk it, say it.
- 16:46Speaker 2: And what you've been doing for the past ten plus
- 16:49Speaker 2: years is not working.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Right right, So Ty says, maybe you could tell it
- 16:56Speaker 1: as a story to Joshua. Joshua, this is what happened
- 17:00Speaker 1: that day. You have to tell him the story of
- 17:04Speaker 1: this is what was meant to happen, this is what
- 17:06Speaker 1: I remember, and how much you miss him and thank
- 17:08Speaker 1: him for the time you had with him. You have
- 17:11Speaker 1: to do that. She burst into tears and she says,
- 17:15Speaker 1: the worst part is the graphic what I saw and
- 17:19Speaker 1: Ty says, well, you don't have to say that part,
- 17:21Speaker 1: but you can say seeing you in that way made
- 17:25Speaker 1: me feel x y Z. I don't want to remember
- 17:27Speaker 1: you in that way, and you can imagine that, you know,
- 17:31Speaker 1: sort of talking about it overall is what happened versus
- 17:35Speaker 1: in her mind, what she saw, what the kids saw.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the other thing. Is like she's talking about
- 17:41Speaker 2: how it was so graphic what she had to see,
- 17:44Speaker 2: which had to have been horrible, Yeah, no doubt. But
- 17:48Speaker 2: the kids also saw that right as children, and.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Their whole thing is like, oh, well, Lydia is only four.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Well let me tell you what I can remember shit
- 17:59Speaker 1: from when I was four. Absolutely, yeah, yeah.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Especially if it's traumatic and like changes your life and
- 18:07Speaker 2: it's things that you should never see at that age, yeah, right.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Or any age.
- 18:11Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, at any age.
- 18:13Speaker 1: So Ty says, for all of you to hear each other,
- 18:17Speaker 1: you have to sit and you need to hear their
- 18:20Speaker 1: truth and they need to hear your truth. So you're
- 18:25Speaker 1: talking to Kim says, it doesn't feel cathartic yet, it
- 18:28Speaker 1: just feels overwhelming. So Kim calls Lydia and says, I
- 18:33Speaker 1: just wanted to tell you that I feel ready to
- 18:35Speaker 1: talk about Joshua. Do you want to come on Saturday
- 18:38Speaker 1: to the farm. And obviously it's already planned because she
- 18:40Speaker 1: doesn't give her a time and that is one of
- 18:42Speaker 1: the biggest things to drive me completely crazy on reality shows,
- 18:45Speaker 1: like just come over on Saturday, like you just gonna
- 18:48Speaker 1: show up at like nine am or five pm.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Okay.
- 18:53Speaker 1: So she says, all right, I'll talk to you later
- 18:54Speaker 1: now over in Wisconsin. Oh, I said over and Wisconsin.
- 18:57Speaker 1: But it wasn't. I thought it was. But Teaking and
- 19:00Speaker 1: Ethan are in kro Yeah. Again, no idea why Teagan
- 19:05Speaker 1: is there other than contractually.
- 19:07Speaker 2: It has to be confectually. Although she seems to be
- 19:10Speaker 2: like kind of warming up to him. Yeah, she's been
- 19:12Speaker 2: a lot nicer and her she's quite monotone of a girl.
- 19:16Speaker 2: But it's it's like a tad. There's almost like a
- 19:22Speaker 2: a range of personality, right, not I wouldn't even go
- 19:26Speaker 2: that far. There's it's like a range of octaves that
- 19:31Speaker 2: she reaches right like what one? Yeah? Exactly yeah, instead.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Of what U. So they're in one of his stupid
- 19:39Speaker 1: cars and he's telling her Mariah is in town and
- 19:42Speaker 1: Micah as usual, said he was gonna come, but he
- 19:46Speaker 1: didn't come. He said he had other stuff going on.
- 19:49Speaker 2: I forgot what he looks like.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Of tragedy. Where is Micah?
- 19:55Speaker 2: Is he dating someone michaeh.
- 19:57Speaker 1: We know you need the money, come on.
- 20:01Speaker 2: So, I mean, but before I would want to stay
- 20:03Speaker 2: away from this family. I mean, I don't blame him.
- 20:05Speaker 1: I'm going to look right now at his most recent
- 20:08Speaker 1: Instagram and see what is his most recent Instagram because
- 20:12Speaker 1: maybe he's just been so traumatized. He has four hundred
- 20:15Speaker 1: and forty seven thousand followers. Okay, the last post is
- 20:23Speaker 1: May eighth, twenty twenty four. Wow, when he was on
- 20:27Speaker 1: Watch What Happens Live and there's no story. I'm going
- 20:31Speaker 1: to check to see if he's still on Cameo because
- 20:34Speaker 1: he does have a link to cameo, so he's not modeling.
- 20:38Speaker 1: He's not on Cameo right now. And it says two
- 20:41Speaker 1: hundred and eighty nine fans want Micah Plath back on
- 20:44Speaker 1: Cameo because, yeah, well, I'm going to follow. I'd like
- 20:48Speaker 1: to join the wait list. I'd like to know when
- 20:51Speaker 1: he comes back on Cameo. Yeah, so he is very
- 20:55Speaker 1: very very very very off the grid. Look at threads
- 21:02Speaker 1: zero posts, zero followers, zero everything. Oh, Michael, Michael art
- 21:06Speaker 1: you Veronica, Veronica, we know the answer, Okay.
- 21:11Speaker 2: And his own brother Isaac.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Well, that was a physically violence. So she says to Tiga,
- 21:18Speaker 1: she says to him, thanks so much for inviting me,
- 21:22Speaker 1: and he says, well, thank you for coming, and again,
- 21:25Speaker 1: why are they there? So Teagan says she's there for
- 21:29Speaker 1: the one year anniversary celebration of Lydia and Zach's wedding,
- 21:34Speaker 1: and Ethan told her the whole family is going to
- 21:36Speaker 1: sit down and discuss some internal family drama. And she says,
- 21:40Speaker 1: I'm staying at a hotel. Normally I would stay at
- 21:43Speaker 1: the house, but we're not together, and we are making
- 21:46Speaker 1: improvements on our friendship. We're making gradual progress. She seems
- 21:49Speaker 1: like a completely different person from last time we saw her,
- 21:52Speaker 1: so she seems way nicer.
- 21:54Speaker 2: She does again, they're just so dull together. It's they've
- 22:00Speaker 2: kind of fit perfectly together, because it's like, thank you
- 22:02Speaker 2: for inviting me, thank you for coming.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Thank you for touching my leg. I'm going to kiss
- 22:07Speaker 1: you now.
- 22:09Speaker 2: But again, if they're just friends, there's no way you
- 22:13Speaker 2: would fly across the country to go to an anniversary
- 22:19Speaker 2: party of the sister of your friend X.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Of your sister of your friend, right right, right, unless
- 22:25Speaker 1: that that sister was like your best friend also right right.
- 22:29Speaker 1: So he says, well, I have some exciting news about
- 22:32Speaker 1: my divorce and she goes, oh, and he says, my
- 22:36Speaker 1: ex got back to the attorneys and sent the information.
- 22:39Speaker 1: It's all been sent to the courts and signed. And
- 22:42Speaker 1: she says, and so now it just has to you know,
- 22:44Speaker 1: go through the system. And she says, well, that's good.
- 22:47Speaker 1: That's good. It'll be a fresh start for both of you.
- 22:49Speaker 1: That's good for both of you. It's which I liked.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Yeah. I love how they cannot say Olivia's name. This
- 22:56Speaker 2: isn't like contractually just have to say ex.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Yeah, she shall not be named.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Yeah, Baltimore.
- 23:03Speaker 1: So talking, Eddie says, it's a weight off my shoulders.
- 23:07Speaker 1: You know that it's finally done, even though I was
- 23:09Speaker 1: the one that slow rolled.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Is h and I think we have forgotten.
- 23:14Speaker 1: And he said, I know Tigan is happy because that
- 23:16Speaker 1: was like, you know, one of the things. So in
- 23:18Speaker 1: the car, Ethan says, uh yeah about this family meeting,
- 23:23Speaker 1: you know, Ethan, uh no. Ethan says, Zach had some
- 23:28Speaker 1: things to say about you, and she goes me and
- 23:31Speaker 1: he goes, yeah, three things. Actually, Number one, you're using
- 23:34Speaker 1: me for money. Number two, he referred to your daughter
- 23:37Speaker 1: as baggage. And number three, your sexuality is something I
- 23:42Speaker 1: should not be okay with. And uh, I just told him,
- 23:46Speaker 1: if I want input input from you, I'm gonna ask.
- 23:49Speaker 2: No, you didn't say that. You kind of just grunted.
- 23:53Speaker 1: We also have never heard Zach say the daughter was baggage,
- 23:58Speaker 1: and we never we never heard Ethan say if I
- 24:00Speaker 1: want input from you, I'm gonna ask. These things must
- 24:03Speaker 1: have happened off camera or they cut it.
- 24:05Speaker 2: I cannot imagine Zach saying her daughter is baggage. I
- 24:10Speaker 2: feel like zachly is a believer that all children are
- 24:14Speaker 2: a blessing and wouldn't do that. I have doubts.
- 24:20Speaker 1: I don't I think he and he may not have
- 24:22Speaker 1: said it to Ethan. He may have said it to Kim,
- 24:25Speaker 1: who then repeated it. He may have said it to Isaac. Yeah,
- 24:29Speaker 1: he may have said, like, I don't know what Ethan's doing,
- 24:31Speaker 1: Like why does he care so much about this girl?
- 24:32Speaker 1: Like she's got this baggage and she doesn't like it?
- 24:34Speaker 3: You know?
- 24:35Speaker 1: He could have, you know, since he's just out there
- 24:38Speaker 1: spouting opinions on everybody, right, And I wish we would
- 24:42Speaker 1: have seen Ethan say to Zach, if I want your input,
- 24:45Speaker 1: I'll ask for it.
- 24:45Speaker 2: I don't know if he ever said that.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I can't said that either.
- 24:49Speaker 2: In the two scenes that we saw, he just kind
- 24:52Speaker 2: of grunted and was just like gritting his teeth and
- 24:56Speaker 2: like gonna go do a hate crime to somebody else
- 24:59Speaker 2: is trying to be to Zach this season, and.
- 25:03Speaker 1: The talking heead Ethan says, Zach has given everyone.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Wait, I'm so sorry. Can we go back though, Yeah?
- 25:08Speaker 2: Thing about her sexuality.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Yeah, we're getting there, Okay. The talking head Ethan says,
- 25:15Speaker 1: Zach has given everyone his opinions on everyone and on
- 25:20Speaker 1: me too, So I just thought I should warn Teagan.
- 25:23Speaker 1: And Zach also doesn't think she's as religious as she
- 25:26Speaker 1: should be, but that's son of his business. No, so,
- 25:30Speaker 1: the talking head Teagan tells us, I've been nothing but
- 25:33Speaker 1: honest with Ethan in our relationship. I was very upfront
- 25:37Speaker 1: and clear on my feelings on sexuality and how I
- 25:42Speaker 1: view my own sexuality, and he's, you know, he's fine
- 25:45Speaker 1: with it. And I wouldn't have dated him if he wasn't.
- 25:50Speaker 1: So Number one, we know he's not okay, no homo,
- 25:52Speaker 1: But exactly maybe it's okay if it's like chick on
- 25:56Speaker 1: chick action.
- 25:57Speaker 2: That is what ding ding ding. That's exactly what I
- 26:01Speaker 2: was thinking. He's fine with it because it's not man
- 26:05Speaker 2: on man. Thou shall not lie with a man blah
- 26:08Speaker 2: blah blah. That's gross also because he's maybe suppressing some
- 26:13Speaker 2: of his own feelings.
- 26:14Speaker 1: But that's that's Kimberly's opinion.
- 26:16Speaker 2: That's my opinion. Those pants are awfully tight, So I
- 26:22Speaker 2: think it's fine because she's with him now and she's
- 26:26Speaker 2: not off sinding with another lady.
- 26:29Speaker 1: H yeah, yeah, y'all. Summer is here, and this is
- 26:35Speaker 1: when I flip my closet around. I flip it around
- 26:38Speaker 1: every summer, and I always stop and go through things
- 26:41Speaker 1: and think what am I really wearing and what am
- 26:43Speaker 1: I not wearing. What I constantly reach for are the
- 26:46Speaker 1: lighter fabrics, the better materials, pieces that just feel good
- 26:49Speaker 1: the moment you put them on. They're effortless. That's where
- 26:53Speaker 1: Quint's comes in. Quint focuses on high quality essentials like
- 26:57Speaker 1: amazing linen, soft or gain it Cotton's washable silks, but
- 27:02Speaker 1: without the markup. It's that rare balance where everything feels
- 27:06Speaker 1: elevated but still easy and oh comfortable and affordable. Everything
- 27:11Speaker 1: at Quint's is priced fifty to eighty percent less than
- 27:14Speaker 1: similar brands. Quince works directly with ethical factories and cuts
- 27:18Speaker 1: out the middlemen, so you're paying for quality and not
- 27:21Speaker 1: that brand markup. I have gotten four new Quins Linden
- 27:25Speaker 1: shirts for the summer. I love a button down Linden
- 27:28Speaker 1: shirt with a linen short. It is my favorite look
- 27:31Speaker 1: throwing some sandals. It's elevated, but you're cool. And I
- 27:35Speaker 1: just bought a comforter for our bed at the beach.
- 27:38Speaker 1: It's gorgeous and was literally almost half the price of
- 27:42Speaker 1: what I was going to spend somewhere else. So in
- 27:45Speaker 1: addition to gorgeous clothing, Quint's has become that destination for
- 27:48Speaker 1: elevated essentials for your home, kitchen, bedding, and beyond, making
- 27:53Speaker 1: it easy to bring more premium feels into your everyday space.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Elevate your summer wardrobe. Go to quints dot com, slash

- 28:04Speaker 1: hundred and sixty five day returns now available in Canada too, Yes,
- 28:09Speaker 1: Canadian Bunkies. That's q u I n CE dot com
- 28:14Speaker 1: slash pink Shade for free shipping and three hundred and
- 28:16Speaker 1: sixty five day returns quints dot com slash pink Shade.
- 28:24Speaker 1: And she says, and as for me being a mom,
- 28:26Speaker 1: you shouldn't talk about anyone's kids or anyone's parenting styles, like,
- 28:30Speaker 1: but she has also done with Kim and Barry and
- 28:33Speaker 1: their youngest kids and what shows they can and can't watch,
- 28:37Speaker 1: or games they should and shouldn't play. And this has
- 28:40Speaker 1: been going on since before they got married. He has
- 28:44Speaker 1: a lot of opinions on kids in general. So it's
- 28:48Speaker 1: been going on since before they got married. And they
- 28:50Speaker 1: were only dating like four months before they got married.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Well again, I wish they would have said that last
- 28:55Speaker 2: season instead of just being like, I don't like him
- 28:58Speaker 2: because it's too fast.
- 28:59Speaker 1: And he's queer gay and he's gay.
- 29:01Speaker 2: Yeah, like say, there are other reasons. He's very judgmental
- 29:06Speaker 2: and pious and looks down on our family and you know,
- 29:09Speaker 2: came super hot like yeah without knowing us. There's those
- 29:14Speaker 2: are all valid reasons to have issues with them. Getting married.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Yeah, other reasons besides just that he kind of acts
- 29:20Speaker 1: gay or whatever. So Tigan says to Ethan, she says,
- 29:26Speaker 1: who is he to speculate or judge my sexuality? Like,
- 29:31Speaker 1: especially what he went through with you and half the
- 29:34Speaker 1: internet speculating on him and they still do. It's like
- 29:38Speaker 1: I never judged them for waiting till marriage to kiss.
- 29:41Speaker 1: That was their business. You know. Jesus sat with sinners
- 29:45Speaker 1: and saints, so that's interesting. And if he's so godly,
- 29:49Speaker 1: who is he to judge? So I was like, all right,
- 29:51Speaker 1: we're getting little get a little fire out of Teagan. Yeah, yeah,
- 29:54Speaker 1: I love that, but.
- 29:56Speaker 2: I love that she points out you kind of started
- 29:58Speaker 2: the yes Zach is gay.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Brigade, Yeah, especially when he went through with you. Yeah,
- 30:04Speaker 1: and half the internet.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Ethan says, well, my mom wants to talk to all
- 30:11Speaker 1: of us about some things about my brother Joshua. Like
- 30:15Speaker 1: earlier or a couple of months ago, we all sat
- 30:18Speaker 1: down and talked, and Zach and Lydia said they won't
- 30:20Speaker 1: tolerate people talking behind their backs, and so he can goes,
- 30:24Speaker 1: oh really, but he does it. That's ironic, And Ethan says,
- 30:29Speaker 1: I hope today is open and constructive and positive, and
- 30:33Speaker 1: I hope I keep myself composed.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Oh god, oh gone.
- 30:36Speaker 1: And the talking head teak and says Ethan is a
- 30:39Speaker 1: wild card and he might confront Zach. He's very protective
- 30:42Speaker 1: of me, even though just friends. Just fairly, fairly.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Still don't understand this party. This is like when someone's
- 30:52Speaker 2: birthday is around Christmas and they are combining their birthday
- 30:55Speaker 2: with Christmas, and someone's a Jew, so they're throwing in
- 30:59Speaker 2: Hanukkah too, and then like may oh, we'll making a
- 31:01Speaker 2: New Year's party also because it's just right around that time.
- 31:05Speaker 2: It's like happy anniversary, you guys suck and our brother
- 31:10Speaker 2: died party. So what kind of banner do you get
- 31:15Speaker 2: from party city to encapsulate all of those events.
- 31:20Speaker 1: It really is crazy that this is a we're having
- 31:22Speaker 1: a surprise party for their anniversary, but beforehand, we're gonna
- 31:26Speaker 1: evicerate them exactly, and then we're gonna throw it, and
- 31:30Speaker 1: then we're.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Gonna celebrate and then talk about our dead brother.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Right, and we're gonna dedicate a bench to the brother.
- 31:37Speaker 2: The bench dedication as well.
- 31:39Speaker 1: It's a bench dedication as well. It's a former party.
- 31:42Speaker 2: A party is just one of these things. Now it's
- 31:45Speaker 2: not all of these things for the season penultimate episode, like.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Talk about the dead brother. Yeah, dedicated bench.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Also, there's gonna be baking and this.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Rate zak Olidia and then celebrate their anniversary. Yeah yeah,
- 32:00Speaker 1: I've met Dak and Lydia Lee. Before the anniversary party
- 32:03Speaker 1: even happens, they'll be like, fuck you guys. So over
- 32:07Speaker 1: at the farm, everybody's sort of walking around getting things
- 32:10Speaker 1: ready for the big showdown. And the weather looks really nice,
- 32:13Speaker 1: and oh.
- 32:15Speaker 2: God, you're like, Kim, well the weather now.
- 32:17Speaker 1: It did look it looks like, oh it's a little breezy.
- 32:19Speaker 1: I love it. And the talking head Kim says, Lydia
- 32:23Speaker 1: is Okay. I wrote this down verbatim because I now
- 32:29Speaker 1: I'm interested now that Kim is recognizing that she is
- 32:33Speaker 1: the one who created Lydia.
- 32:36Speaker 2: Yes, okay, I was thrilled. I wrote it down too.
- 32:40Speaker 1: It's alive. It's a live It's like Kim says, Lydia's
- 32:44Speaker 1: lifestyle now has the foundation of the values that Barry
- 32:48Speaker 1: and I taught. Her. Parents have to decide what is
- 32:51Speaker 1: good and not good to teach their children. I mean,
- 32:54Speaker 1: all parents do that, regardless of what their exact values are.
- 32:58Speaker 1: So is it the hypocritical for us to say Zach
- 33:02Speaker 1: and Lydia are being judgmental for telling other people what
- 33:05Speaker 1: to do. Yes, the difference because you know Kim's always
- 33:09Speaker 1: got an answer.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 33:10Speaker 1: The difference is teaching your children versus sitting down other
- 33:14Speaker 1: adults and telling them how they should.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Live their life.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Well, well, some would say.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Talk about Colgate demon.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Let's talk about Phileas which Olivia and Ethan were married adults,
- 33:28Speaker 1: and you sat them down and told them how to live.
- 33:31Speaker 2: They shouldn't drink in front of the other children, much
- 33:34Speaker 2: like Zach later said to Mariah.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Not allowed to see the children. Actually, yeah, because of
- 33:41Speaker 1: their sugarist lifestyle. So she says, I think Lydia and
- 33:48Speaker 1: Zach went to honor God by living a very pure lifestyle,
- 33:52Speaker 1: and I think that's a wonderful thing. The rub is
- 33:56Speaker 1: simply they're trying to tell us how to live. Girl, what,
- 34:04Speaker 1: That's exactly what you did to Ethan and Olivia.
- 34:08Speaker 2: I can't if she would just acknowledge and make that connection.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, and that maybe I didn't.
- 34:18Speaker 2: I was raised with that sort of model. We are
- 34:23Speaker 2: allowed to judge other people that come into our home
- 34:26Speaker 2: and by marrying into our family, and so now we're
- 34:30Speaker 2: allowed to judge Zach.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Yeah, it's all to judge us crazy. Yeah. The rub
- 34:37Speaker 1: is simply they are trying to tell us how to live.
- 34:40Speaker 1: So I want to resolve that. I want some kind
- 34:42Speaker 1: of family cohesion here. I want us all in a
- 34:45Speaker 1: good place. It's important for me to mend this relationship
- 34:48Speaker 1: with Lydia. If a hard conversation needs to happen. I'm
- 34:51Speaker 1: all in the last few days, I've been thinking about Joshua,
- 34:55Speaker 1: and we're going to talk about him and remember him,
- 34:58Speaker 1: and it's all going to be okay, mm hmm okay.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Except first I'm going to make Lydia cry.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Oh immediately. So now we see Ken brading Mercy's hair,
- 35:09Speaker 1: which I didn't like.
- 35:10Speaker 2: I got the ick, but I mean, I'm glad he
- 35:14Speaker 2: gets along with the kids, but I did not need
- 35:16Speaker 2: to see that his tobacco chew fingers all through her hair.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Oh. She laughs and says, I'm gonna go see if
- 35:24Speaker 1: Amber is free. Everybody comes to the farm. Now, Kim
- 35:29Speaker 1: calls Tigan into her room, and the talking head Teagan
- 35:32Speaker 1: is like, I don't know, we get along, but it
- 35:34Speaker 1: feels like I'm being called at the principal's office and
- 35:37Speaker 1: the talking head. Kim says, I want to be sure
- 35:39Speaker 1: Tigan knows some of this could be about her, right, Like, girl,
- 35:44Speaker 1: you're gonna have to own up to your only fans.
- 35:47Speaker 1: So Kim says, I just want to check in with
- 35:50Speaker 1: you and see how you're doing. And I just wanted
- 35:53Speaker 1: to let you know, like Zach and Lydia having my daughter,
- 35:57Speaker 1: my daughter and her husband have been saying a lot
- 35:59Speaker 1: of things that have hurt a lot of people, and
- 36:02Speaker 1: they tell people that their lives aren't honoring to God
- 36:06Speaker 1: and to me. All of that with you falls into.
- 36:10Speaker 3: That category of what we're doing here, and they're just
- 36:15Speaker 3: being a little judgmental, and teake and goes, yeah, it
- 36:17Speaker 3: feels like a lot of judgment Yeah, Kim, me and
- 36:20Speaker 3: you girl, I'll fuck you up.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Tigan is like, Kim, don't come at me, girl.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Kim is trying so hard to be nice to kiss
- 36:32Speaker 2: up to tea Ian, like, in no way she was
- 36:34Speaker 2: never nice to Olivia, even though she set up Olivia
- 36:37Speaker 2: with her son, which is actually the meanest thing she
- 36:40Speaker 2: could have done. But she was not nice too. She's
- 36:46Speaker 2: trying so hard to be nice to Olivia, but we
- 36:48Speaker 2: see right through it. She is a classic textbook narcissist.
- 36:52Speaker 2: She is gathering up her flying monkeys to do her
- 36:56Speaker 2: dirty work for her. She's hoping Teakan will chime in
- 36:59Speaker 2: at the meat and talk about those issues. She's going
- 37:03Speaker 2: to gather her people on her team.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Yes one percent, So to talking head Zach and Lydia, Wow,
- 37:12Speaker 1: we're so glad we're here. What a great day this
- 37:15Speaker 1: is gonna be where you're gonna finally get to talk
- 37:17Speaker 1: about Joshua blind sighted.
- 37:20Speaker 2: They have no clue they're about to get punched in
- 37:24Speaker 2: the face.
- 37:24Speaker 1: They were happily eating donuts and donuts. You think Ethan
- 37:31Speaker 1: sent They're going, I never got a fucking donut in
- 37:32Speaker 1: my life. Around here right now I realize getting donuts.
- 37:35Speaker 2: I know the only person eating donuts was Cam in
- 37:39Speaker 2: the shower.
- 37:42Speaker 1: And then Zach says, today marks the year of Lydia's
- 37:49Speaker 1: brothers talking to her about their disagreements with our marriage,
- 37:53Speaker 1: and that was the date of that well, because it
- 37:57Speaker 1: is the one.
- 37:59Speaker 2: They're in the day after their wedding, the day before.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Day before the rehearsal dinner, rehearsal dinner. Okay, yeah, that
- 38:09Speaker 1: was very heavy for us and our emotions are wild
- 38:12Speaker 1: coming into this. But here we are. Here, we are.
- 38:15Speaker 1: It's about to get worse. So everybody's there. We got Ken, Barry, Mercy,
- 38:20Speaker 1: Cassia Mercy and Cassia not allowed to be in the
- 38:22Speaker 1: first one. But now Kim is gathering her truth, so
- 38:25Speaker 1: she needs them there.
- 38:26Speaker 2: Yep.
- 38:27Speaker 1: Micah not there, Hosannah ri Ip never there. Mariah and
- 38:33Speaker 1: Amber stay in the kitchen because they're cooking, which Mariah
- 38:36Speaker 1: has never cooked one thing in her whole life, but
- 38:38Speaker 1: today's the.
- 38:39Speaker 2: Day, which maybe she's protecting her mental health.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Yess like her therapist told her to stay in the kitchen.
- 38:46Speaker 2: I'm sure, yeah, even though half of this is about
- 38:48Speaker 2: her right the trip to Montana.
- 38:50Speaker 1: Yeah, so I also does Kaylin's not there? Oh yeah,
- 38:55Speaker 1: it is Saturday. She's a nurse. Maybe she had to
- 38:57Speaker 1: work at the ar. I'm talking to him. Mariah says,
- 39:02Speaker 1: I've told everybody I don't want to be involved in this.
- 39:04Speaker 1: So I tell my mother, I tell my mother, I
- 39:07Speaker 1: tell everybody out there, I don't want to be involved
- 39:08Speaker 1: in this. So Amber is going to like bake a
- 39:11Speaker 1: cake for the party tonight. So I'm going to help
- 39:13Speaker 1: Amber bake a cake. Lately, I'm trying to get into cooking,
- 39:15Speaker 1: and then she tells a stupid story about that, and she's,
- 39:19Speaker 1: I know, people want to talk to Zach. I invited
- 39:22Speaker 1: Lydia and Zach to Montana to see my life, and
- 39:27Speaker 1: they just sat down with me and told me things
- 39:29Speaker 1: they didn't like. After the fact, it's not always pleasant
- 39:34Speaker 1: and comfortable when you're giving a list of things somebody
- 39:36Speaker 1: doesn't approve of, Like, okay, thank you, what do I
- 39:40Speaker 1: do with this? So Mariah is like, I don't fuck
- 39:44Speaker 1: with that guy, and I'm not sitting out there with him,
- 39:46Speaker 1: you know. So talking head Amber coming in hot, Amber says, yeah.
- 39:53Speaker 1: When we went to Montana, Zach and Lydia were not
- 39:56Speaker 1: happy that Mariah was drinking around me and you know
- 40:00Speaker 1: her other life choices, like having a liquor in her home,
- 40:03Speaker 1: and they sat her down and talked to her. And
- 40:08Speaker 1: after they sat down and talked to Mariah, Mariah told
- 40:11Speaker 1: me what was said. So in the car on the
- 40:14Speaker 1: way to the airport, I talked with them Zach and
- 40:17Speaker 1: Lydia about it, and Lydia cried and Zach then told
- 40:22Speaker 1: us everything we did wrong on the trip. So I
- 40:26Speaker 1: told him it wasn't his place, and her I love,
- 40:29Speaker 1: I amber take some shit. Yeah, I told him it
- 40:33Speaker 1: wasn't his place, and if it came from Lydia that
- 40:36Speaker 1: would be different. But it didn't. It came from Zach.
- 40:39Speaker 1: It didn't feel I told him it didn't feel right
- 40:41Speaker 1: for him to marry into the family and right away
- 40:44Speaker 1: start telling everyone how to live their lives. And he said, no,
- 40:48Speaker 1: but I have to it's my place. And I told
- 40:50Speaker 1: him it was not his place, and he said it
- 40:52Speaker 1: was his place. And then we went back and forth
- 40:55Speaker 1: and no, we did not resolve it. We agreed to disagree.
- 40:59Speaker 1: And then I was like, shoot, now we have four
- 41:01Speaker 1: hours left. This is going to be uncomfortable.
- 41:03Speaker 2: Oh, that's horrible.
- 41:05Speaker 1: I imagine Isaac. Well, I don't know. I think Isaac
- 41:08Speaker 1: and Calen actually stayed a little longer. Yeah, So it
- 41:11Speaker 1: was just it was just the three of them. So
- 41:16Speaker 1: Kim starts talking off like, well, I thought it was
- 41:18Speaker 1: going to rain, but da da da, and Isaac goes,
- 41:20Speaker 1: so this is a weather meeting. Still loved love, and
- 41:25Speaker 1: Kim sayes, well, there are some things to talk about,
- 41:29Speaker 1: including Joshua, Isaac made a bench, and everyone's going to
- 41:33Speaker 1: sign it, like like a stamp, like a woodworking student whatever,
- 41:37Speaker 1: like a brand. I guess everyone's going to sign it.
- 41:41Speaker 1: And Isaac goes, Yeah, just the kids and mom.
- 41:43Speaker 2: And dad, people who were there then, not that horror Teagan,
- 41:48Speaker 2: not kak Ken, Yeah, nobody, not just Homo Zach.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Yeah, just the kids and mom and dad. And Kim goes,
- 41:59Speaker 1: and there's some other thinks me might want to talk
- 42:01Speaker 1: about first, And I wrote dramatic violin music, you know, Yeah,
- 42:07Speaker 1: And Kim says, let's clear the air. First of all, Lydia,
- 42:10Speaker 1: I was very hurt that you were talking about my deepest,
- 42:13Speaker 1: darkest feelings and you speculated publicly on why Barry and
- 42:17Speaker 1: I got divorced. Like, I'm glad you brought it up
- 42:20Speaker 1: about Joshua, but I do not like how it was
- 42:23Speaker 1: brought up.
- 42:25Speaker 2: I don't I feel like this should have been a
- 42:27Speaker 2: private conversation between the two of them. Why does everything
- 42:31Speaker 2: have to happen in front of the whole family so.
- 42:34Speaker 1: That Kim has flying monkeys everybody on her side. Yeah,
- 42:38Speaker 1: And Ethan says, to be honest, I did not like
- 42:43Speaker 1: what I saw. I think he means with the public thing.
- 42:48Speaker 1: One of the things that you guys made very clear
- 42:50Speaker 1: was that before anybody talks behind your back, they should
- 42:53Speaker 1: talk to you directly, and this definitely falls into that category.
- 42:59Speaker 1: Mom didn't care for it, especially after not talking to
- 43:02Speaker 1: her first. He's directing this so Lydia. My personal opinion is,
- 43:07Speaker 1: I don't like talking about Joshua publicly unless it's remembering
- 43:10Speaker 1: him for who he was when he was alive. Talking
- 43:13Speaker 1: about the death publicly, I don't like that. I don't
- 43:16Speaker 1: think it's respectful to him and the memory. And this
- 43:20Speaker 1: is what I would do. I would talk to mom
- 43:22Speaker 1: or dad or a therapist, you know. And this was interesting.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Ethan says, Mom's already gotten a lot of shit for
- 43:27Speaker 1: how she raised us. M hm, so you putting that
- 43:31Speaker 1: on the internet. I would not have done that. You
- 43:34Speaker 1: could do, obviously, whatever you want to do, but you
- 43:36Speaker 1: should talk to mom first.
- 43:38Speaker 2: He's team mom, yes, best friend.
- 43:42Speaker 1: Yeah, best friend last season, best friends yeah, so just
- 43:45Speaker 1: drinking buddies, best friends.
- 43:48Speaker 2: So he contributed to a lot of the her being
- 43:53Speaker 2: criticized for how she was raising them.
- 43:55Speaker 1: A lot of a lot of information came from him. Yeah, yeah, y'all.
- 44:01Speaker 1: Sometimes when I go to put on actuable makeup, when
- 44:04Speaker 1: I'm leaving the house and trying to look human, I
- 44:07Speaker 1: realize I have way too many products. And then I
- 44:09Speaker 1: try some of these products I have, and I realize
- 44:12Speaker 1: these beauty products are not made for ladies of a
- 44:14Speaker 1: certain age, and I end up looking like I put
- 44:16Speaker 1: spackle on my face. But ever since I started using
- 44:20Speaker 1: Jones Road Miracle Bomb, my routine is simplified and I
- 44:23Speaker 1: don't look like I painted my face with a spackle brush.
- 44:27Speaker 1: Miracle Bomb has replaced several steps for me because you
- 44:29Speaker 1: can use it as a highlighter, a bronzer, a blush,
- 44:32Speaker 1: and a lip tint. I keep my little pot a
- 44:34Speaker 1: Miracle Bomb right next to me when I'm recording because
- 44:37Speaker 1: sometimes I need a little bit of color on my
- 44:39Speaker 1: cheeks and definitely on my lips. And I want to
- 44:41Speaker 1: tell you about Jones Roads new product that you also
- 44:45Speaker 1: need to try, and it's the foundation stick. There are
- 44:48Speaker 1: sometimes when you need a little more coverage, like are
- 44:50Speaker 1: you going out for a date night? Are you going
- 44:52Speaker 1: out for a girls' night? But you also don't want
- 44:55Speaker 1: to go back to that full, complicated makeup routine, so
- 44:58Speaker 1: It's a foundation stick that even foundation stick skeptics will love.
- 45:02Speaker 1: It delivers buildable, real coverage while feeling completely weightless on
- 45:07Speaker 1: your skin, which is what I need. I cannot stand
- 45:09Speaker 1: feeling like I have a layer of something on my face.
- 45:12Speaker 1: The foundation stick gives you medium to full coverage without
- 45:15Speaker 1: ever looking caked on. It's dermatologists tested and packed with
- 45:19Speaker 1: skin loving ingredients like seramides to nourish while you wear it,
- 45:24Speaker 1: and the finish is really really natural, which is what
- 45:26Speaker 1: I love. I love. I love not to Matt but
- 45:29Speaker 1: not to Doy because you know I'm not twenty. And
- 45:32Speaker 1: it's available in thirty shades to match a wide range
- 45:35Speaker 1: of skin tones, modern day makeup that's clean, strategic, and
- 45:40Speaker 1: multifunctional for effortless routines. For a limited time, our listeners
- 45:44Speaker 1: are getting a free full size mascara on their first
- 45:47Speaker 1: purchase when they use code pink shade at checkout. Just
- 45:51Speaker 1: head to Jones Road Beauty dot com and use code
- 45:55Speaker 1: pink shade at checkout. After you purchase, they will ask
- 45:59Speaker 1: where you heard it about them. Please support our show
- 46:01Speaker 1: and tell them that we sent you. So I'm talking
- 46:07Speaker 1: head Barry goes Well. I didn't know this is gonna
- 46:11Speaker 1: be the conversation for her. Oh, it's a touchy subject.
- 46:15Speaker 1: They're different emotions.
- 46:17Speaker 2: Involved, Bigfoot, can you take me away?
- 46:21Speaker 1: There's there's hurdles to overcome, but the conversation does just
- 46:27Speaker 1: need to happen. Thank God, I'm not on the hot seat.
- 46:31Speaker 1: So Kim says, yeah, you know, if you're gonna go
- 46:34Speaker 1: on a podcast to talk about me, I'd like a
- 46:37Speaker 1: heads up first so I could clear up any misunderstandings.
- 46:42Speaker 1: So in the talking head, Lydia says, mom brings up
- 46:44Speaker 1: what I said publicly about Joshua, and I know her
- 46:48Speaker 1: and I mentioned it on that car ride, but I
- 46:50Speaker 1: guess it wasn't fully resolved. I mean, I've really done
- 46:55Speaker 1: I've really already done that with Zach. Zach has been
- 46:59Speaker 1: my safe place to talk about it and get everything
- 47:01Speaker 1: off my chest. She's really leaning into this. Just we're
- 47:06Speaker 1: a team against everybody else. Yeah, she has cleaveed, she
- 47:10Speaker 1: has cleaned, She's cloven.
- 47:11Speaker 2: Cloven. There the Cleven's.
- 47:16Speaker 1: Lydia cries because her mother's now made her cry, and
- 47:19Speaker 1: she says, well, I'm sorry. It wasn't meant to be
- 47:23Speaker 1: about you. It was meant to be about my experience,
- 47:28Speaker 1: and I don't blame you for anything at all, like
- 47:30Speaker 1: you were going through your own hell. And as far
- 47:33Speaker 1: as correlating that to the divorce, I have been left
- 47:35Speaker 1: to speculate because I don't really know. Now here's where
- 47:39Speaker 1: Barry hops in. Barry says, well, the issue is Joshua.
- 47:45Speaker 1: Joshua was death is not in the mix of that.
- 47:48Speaker 1: That's separate. It came goes yes, and that was between
- 47:52Speaker 1: the two of us, and so I liked it. Barry
- 47:55Speaker 1: kind of here was like, girl, like, don't speculate on
- 47:58Speaker 1: my divorce, you know because by the way, Lydia knows
- 48:01Speaker 1: way more about the divorce than anybody else, because Barry
- 48:04Speaker 1: was using her as this emotional support person.
- 48:06Speaker 2: Absolutely, but he is standing it up for Kim because
- 48:10Speaker 2: he wants her to get off his back about child support.
- 48:14Speaker 1: Sure, great point, and Lydia says, well, I'm sorry if
- 48:18Speaker 1: that caused any hurt. I didn't think it all the
- 48:21Speaker 1: way through, and I was just asked a question and za.
- 48:24Speaker 2: I don't think she knew they were going to bring
- 48:26Speaker 2: that up on the podcast.
- 48:28Speaker 1: And she's not media trained. I don't think I mean
- 48:31Speaker 1: she could have said, oh, you know, that really is
- 48:34Speaker 1: between my mom and dad, and I don't know the answer.
- 48:36Speaker 1: You'd have to ask them, you know. Zach says, well,
- 48:39Speaker 1: I think a part of it is that she hasn't
- 48:41Speaker 1: been able to talk about her experience, and if she's
- 48:45Speaker 1: tried to talk about it, it's like that can't be
- 48:47Speaker 1: talked about. She hasn't had the opportunity to confide in
- 48:51Speaker 1: you about Joshua, and Lydia says, well, I'm she cries,
- 48:55Speaker 1: I'm sorry if I said too much. The talking head
- 48:58Speaker 1: Kim says, I have talked to all of them about
- 49:01Speaker 1: it and have tried to talk to Lydia about it
- 49:03Speaker 1: further on the road trip, and when I brought it up,
- 49:06Speaker 1: she was quiet. And this stuff I don't want to
- 49:09Speaker 1: talk about is the graphic part of it.
- 49:12Speaker 2: No one is asking you to talk about that. I
- 49:15Speaker 2: don't need a play by play of all his injuries, right,
- 49:18Speaker 2: And you tried to talk to her about it after
- 49:21Speaker 2: the podcast came out and you were publicly shamed on it.
- 49:27Speaker 2: It's the point is that you never talked to her
- 49:29Speaker 2: about it before then, which could have avoided this situation.
- 49:34Speaker 1: And after the podcast stuff came out, she could have
- 49:36Speaker 1: just been like Lydia, let's go to lunch.
- 49:38Speaker 2: Yeah, instead of being accusatory and like.
- 49:41Speaker 1: Yeah, like lunch, let's like that. Yeah. So the talking
- 49:45Speaker 1: to head Barry says, you know, we've tried to talk
- 49:49Speaker 1: to the children at the age where they were at
- 49:52Speaker 1: an age appropriate level at the time, but now fast forward,
- 49:55Speaker 1: they're grown up and they have questions and that's fine.
- 49:59Speaker 1: So Kim's says, you're welcome to talk about Joshua, and
- 50:05Speaker 1: that's what we're gonna do later today at the talk
- 50:07Speaker 1: about Joshua's slash bench ceremony.
- 50:09Speaker 2: I think they're going to have like a whiteboard with
- 50:12Speaker 2: a checklist and it's going to be like accuse Zach
- 50:16Speaker 2: and Lydia of being horrible people, cake bench signing, talk
- 50:23Speaker 2: about Joshua. Ken gives the hair braiding tutorial.
- 50:28Speaker 1: No, that's not on the list. So Isaac says, well,
- 50:33Speaker 1: look here's what I think. If you're gonna talk about it,
- 50:35Speaker 1: talk to us before doing it publicly. So the talking
- 50:41Speaker 1: head Lydia says, I'm glad my mom brought it up.
- 50:43Speaker 1: And I get what Ethan was saying about sharing Joshua's
- 50:47Speaker 1: life and not the tragedy of his death. But at
- 50:50Speaker 1: the same time. His death has affected me in so
- 50:53Speaker 1: many ways, the way I handle stress or tragedy, the
- 50:56Speaker 1: way I handle hearing a siren.
- 50:59Speaker 2: Yeah, she has PTSD H.
- 51:02Speaker 1: So Kim says, well, it does hurt. And the goal
- 51:05Speaker 1: is not to pick on anybody, but to talk. And
- 51:08Speaker 1: Rina's closer together. So is there anybody else here that
- 51:12Speaker 1: wants to share any concerns or thoughts.
- 51:14Speaker 2: Because we're picking on Zach and Lydia. I mean, we're
- 51:17Speaker 2: not picking on anybody, but if we were to pick
- 51:20Speaker 2: on someone, does anyone else who's had anything to say? Yeah?
- 51:24Speaker 3: Who?
- 51:24Speaker 2: Let's line up?
- 51:25Speaker 1: Line up? Who's because I know Mariah's got a problem,
- 51:27Speaker 1: Isaac's got a problem, Ethan's got a problem, now, Teagan's
- 51:30Speaker 1: got a problem. Anybody else. I'm sure Ken's got several problems.
- 51:33Speaker 1: Line it up. I'm sure they got a lot of
- 51:35Speaker 1: pinions about Ken.
- 51:36Speaker 2: Yep.
- 51:37Speaker 1: So Ethan says, well, I don't know if anybody else
- 51:42Speaker 1: wants to say it, but I got my trusty and
- 51:47Speaker 1: slated cup and I'm feeling pretty bold. I want to
- 51:52Speaker 1: clear the air with you, Zach, and we're like, and Zach,
- 51:57Speaker 1: He says, you know, Zach, I don't know if it's
- 52:00Speaker 1: coming from a good place. But I thought all the
- 52:04Speaker 1: critiques that you give to the younger kids and Mariah,
- 52:07Speaker 1: like you know, and you talk to me about her Teagan,
- 52:12Speaker 1: I know you've interjected yourself many times about frivolous things
- 52:16Speaker 1: that my family is doing, like what TV shows they watch,
- 52:20Speaker 1: what games they're playing, whether you think it's right or wrong.
- 52:24Speaker 1: I feel like it's an overstep, and I don't find
- 52:27Speaker 1: it respectful. Okay, that's fair. That's fair, And he didn't
- 52:34Speaker 1: lose his mind and storm off, so.
- 52:36Speaker 2: You can try to light anything on fire. Not yet, the.
- 52:40Speaker 1: Talking head Zac says, I find this ironic that he's
- 52:45Speaker 1: bringing up all my conflicts he has with me, and
- 52:48Speaker 1: he's given me a lot of conflict, and I've never
- 52:51Speaker 1: brought it up to him, like throw me out of
- 52:55Speaker 1: the farmhouse, calling me gay. And the producer said, you've
- 53:01Speaker 1: never talked to him about any of this, and he goes, no,
- 53:04Speaker 1: I want to move forward past the hurt and just
- 53:06Speaker 1: be a brother to him. And when I do anything
- 53:09Speaker 1: that's remotely wrong, he's so detailed about it, and then
- 53:13Speaker 1: he decides to speak for the family, so I'm the
- 53:18Speaker 1: problem for the whole family. Cool, Cool, I'll just shut
- 53:21Speaker 1: up and never be around. So that is manipulation. Yes,
- 53:27Speaker 1: and we're not new here, Zach. You've been watching this
- 53:30Speaker 1: family for eight seasons.
- 53:32Speaker 2: That's starvo and that is reverse victim and offender. Yes,
- 53:40Speaker 2: He's like, oh, ok oh, okay, Oh I guess I'll
- 53:43Speaker 2: just never talk again. Yeah, right, because I'm the bad guy.
- 53:47Speaker 1: Yeah. It's like my husband gets mad. He'll say, Okay,
- 53:50Speaker 1: I guess I'm not allowed to ask a question of
- 53:51Speaker 1: my own house. Oh god, that's right. Get out of here,
- 53:56Speaker 1: so you yeah, you got that right, Get out next time.
- 54:00Speaker 1: I'm on. Ethan tells Zach he does want to build
- 54:04Speaker 1: a relationship with him, but he's finding it hard to
- 54:06Speaker 1: do that, and he would appreciate it if Zak would
- 54:09Speaker 1: just keep his opinions to himself and not just with him,
- 54:12Speaker 1: but with the whole family.
- 54:14Speaker 2: Because I'm the eldest boy, so I get to decide
- 54:17Speaker 2: what's best for the family.
- 54:20Speaker 1: Barry says to Zach, his best friend. You know you're
- 54:24Speaker 1: exporting your opinion into lands that don't want to import. Berry.
- 54:33Speaker 1: You keep winning, he says, It says everything in a
- 54:38Speaker 1: weird whisper weird.
- 54:40Speaker 3: I just love it.
- 54:41Speaker 2: Cracks me up.
- 54:42Speaker 1: Barry's like, Zach, I've been getting laid by a woman
- 54:45Speaker 1: named Joan.
- 54:48Speaker 2: She goes to the gym a lot.
- 54:51Speaker 1: Jim the talking to Mariah says, I mean somebody's judging me. Okay,
- 54:58Speaker 1: I'll judge you too, Hi Mariah, Wow, jump vin girl.
- 55:03Speaker 2: I mean you should have earlier instead of doing that
- 55:06Speaker 2: an infantilized baby thing where she's like, I need to
- 55:09Speaker 2: I need to hide in the house because I don't
- 55:12Speaker 2: like confrontation. Even though this whole thing is about me.
- 55:15Speaker 2: I'm going to let my brother do the dirty work
- 55:17Speaker 2: for me.
- 55:18Speaker 1: And I think, I really think her therapist probably said,
- 55:21Speaker 1: if there's a way that you could go and support
- 55:23Speaker 1: your family but not be directly involved, try to find
- 55:27Speaker 1: a way to do that. So she's like, bingo, I'm
- 55:29Speaker 1: gonna make a cake and and a were done. Want
- 55:31Speaker 1: to be involved either, because she and Zach and Lydia
- 55:33Speaker 1: had to fight about it on the way home.
- 55:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I think there's no good therapist that
- 55:39Speaker 2: would say you need to let everyone fight your battles
- 55:42Speaker 2: for you, and you are integral to what this conflict is,
- 55:47Speaker 2: so you should be involved and speak your mind. Get
- 55:50Speaker 2: I can't imagine a therapist, a good therapist being like
- 55:54Speaker 2: go hide in the house and bake a cake.
- 55:57Speaker 1: It could be like this is very triggering for you, right,
- 56:00Speaker 1: and so if that is the case, then you need
- 56:02Speaker 1: to go somewhere else and find out what happened later.
- 56:06Speaker 2: But again, you're not a wilting princess that you need
- 56:09Speaker 2: to let your brother save you and speak for you
- 56:13Speaker 2: in this conversation, like true true, Amber should be out
- 56:19Speaker 2: there because Amber seems like it's way tougher than I knew,
- 56:23Speaker 2: and yeah, yeah, she is. Go Amber.
- 56:26Speaker 1: So in Talking Head, Kim says, these are my kids,
- 56:30Speaker 1: these are Barry's kids. We are the ones that will
- 56:33Speaker 1: decide on things raising them, and if we want to
- 56:35Speaker 1: raise them one way and completely change our mind and
- 56:39Speaker 1: raise the next set another way, that's on us.
- 56:42Speaker 2: If they're going to be failed by someone, it is
- 56:44Speaker 2: going to be by our parenting, not by yours. Zach, Right,
- 56:49Speaker 2: we get to fuck them up.
- 56:51Speaker 1: Talking Head together Lydia Zach Lydia says, I just feel
- 56:55Speaker 1: time and time again Zach is misunderstood, and he cried
- 57:00Speaker 1: and says, what am I supposed to do? Like wrestle
- 57:02Speaker 1: them in the yard, Like I don't know what to do. Yeah,
- 57:07Speaker 1: that was pretty funny, but he is crying and they
- 57:10Speaker 1: do probably like the next day move to Colorado, like
- 57:13Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, yeah, So that's it, guys. That's the episode.
- 57:17Speaker 1: And I thought there was eleven, but there is twelve,
- 57:19Speaker 1: which is good because I don't like an uneven number.
- 57:21Speaker 1: And next week is the last episode. There are twelve episodes.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Have I heard back from Lydia? No, I have not, Olivia.
- 57:31Speaker 1: I keep trying, though, I keep trying. It's going to happen.
- 57:34Speaker 1: And when she does get back to me, she'll be like,
- 57:36Speaker 1: I'm so sorry. I was in Zimbabwe, I was in Nigeria,
- 57:40Speaker 1: I was somewhere. Yeah. She has posted a couple of
- 57:45Speaker 1: really interesting reels lately regarding Kim Plath trying to be
- 57:49Speaker 1: a cook now when she's never saw her cook one
- 57:51Speaker 1: thing except for waffles with raspberry jam that nobody else
- 57:55Speaker 1: was allowed.
- 57:55Speaker 2: To have green waffles because.
- 57:57Speaker 1: It's finished with the juicer. Don't forget, yes, the jure
- 58:03Speaker 1: and the control chair where she.
- 58:05Speaker 2: Sat control chair where she gets to sit and dictate
- 58:09Speaker 2: everyone else cooking in the kitchen. Interesting and slathered slathered
- 58:14Speaker 2: those waffles with jam, slathered she had to buy jars
- 58:18Speaker 2: of that raspberry jam that no one else was allowed to touch.
- 58:21Speaker 1: But her, and they knew it only she was allowed
- 58:25Speaker 1: to have it.
- 58:25Speaker 2: Yes, crazy, it's crazy. Oh well, mommy has different rules
- 58:28Speaker 2: for herself than for us.
- 58:31Speaker 1: And and we're saying when I'm older, I'm going to
- 58:33Speaker 1: have a control chair. You imagine everybody that is it.
- 58:40Speaker 1: Please make sure it's Wednesday, so that means also A

- 59:04Speaker 2: Streamyard been causing a lot of problems.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I was telling Keisha that you had some issues
- 59:09Speaker 1: as well. Yeah, don't like a Streamyard.

- 59:34Speaker 1: firing on all cylinders.
- 59:35Speaker 2: Yeah, boy, oh boy.
- 59:38Speaker 1: I did not get a chance to watch the Oh
- 59:41Speaker 1: I did watch the pillow talk for right now. I'm
- 59:42Speaker 1: remembering because they were using those wands like at the
- 59:45Speaker 1: airport because starf said he had metallics firm.
- 59:49Speaker 2: Okay, I did not know what they were talking about
- 59:52Speaker 2: because I only saw that preview where they're talking about
- 59:54Speaker 2: him setting off a metal detector in the airport with
- 59:57Speaker 2: his venus.
- 59:58Speaker 1: He says if he hasn't had X that it always
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: sets it off at the airport.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: Is that real? Can we get a doctor to weigh
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: in on this?
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: I crazy?
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: Could that possibly be real?
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: No?
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: I don't think he has metallics firm, but there has
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: to be a reason it could be. He has literally
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: like gold Vasaci stripes in his underwear, you know what
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: I mean. It's something like that. But yeah, it's it's
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: really really good. It's really really good. And if you're
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: new here to the podcast, I got a lot of

- 1:00:40Speaker 2: Did you see that?
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Kara responded, I wrote back, we love you girl. Why
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: can't too hot people say together?
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: Exactly? It's all we need either.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, And I went under and wrote on a
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: lot of comments as well, like we love Kara, actually
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: we think she's a hoot and a half.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: Yeah, she just maybe could appropriate to tiny list. Just
