- 0:02SPEAKER_01: Hey y'all, welcome to Endless Game, the podcast where we break down a journey to the hustle and a culture that never stops moving.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: I'm your host, Bearish Beauty, aka 28 niche.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: We got a special guest in the building tonight.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: Sweeta is officially back home, staying at a halfway house and setting up her next big moves.
- 0:23SPEAKER_01: Welcome to the show.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: Um, my name is Sweeta.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: You know, I just got out from doing four and a half years.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: We was in there together, and yeah, I'm back home, so I'm ready to stop my shit.
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: You know, free but not free because you're still in that halfway house.
- 0:40SPEAKER_01: But hey, yeah, the next step to free, yep.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: And I'm and I'm ready to do, I'm ready to pop my shit and do everything that we talked about while we was in prison.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: So the icebreaker today is you're in a halfway house right now, right?
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so I know your schedule is strictly structured.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: What's the first thing you focus on the second your feet hit the floor in the morning?
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: You know, you know that I'm a couple hours away from home, so my first focus is uh getting back home, and I'm almost there.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: And I know that could be a challenge because you just like don't know where stuff at the city you're not familiar with.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: So, how's your mental?
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: That's what you know I'm concerned about being out there alone by yourself.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: Like, real for real, all they gotta do is free me, you know, and I know my way, I know how to make my way, you know.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, like sometimes like my mental health, like I get depressed because I have more support there, you know.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: If I was at home, like I would have more, I would be doing more, you know what I'm saying?
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: But I'm not at home, so I had to make stuff shape.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: You know, I had to go get me a job, find me a job, and I didn't have no ride or nothing to do that.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: I had to catch Uber, you know what I'm saying?
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: And yeah.
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: So um I'm sometimes about the halfway house.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: Do they have like resources they give out, or how did you go by um, you know, moving through the city?
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Okay, so um when I got out, my people, you know, they had met me, they made sure I was straight, and I had got out or whatever.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: And then yeah, like they have like okay, so like for hygiene and stuff, hygiene passes, they they give you, they'll take you there, they give you rides there, and um, and like for jobs and stuff, you know, they help you with job stuff, like they got like a whole little job there there set up.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay, I could relate to that, even though we didn't have that at my halfway house.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: You know, I just got the halfway house, you know, I returned that ankle monitor, so I'm free, but not free.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: Also, because I just started my probation, but I it was a struggle for me in the halfway house because we didn't have that many resources, even though I was close to home, it still was a struggle because the people was really strict and they didn't even let us out like that.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: It took like you had to do search stipulations and work your way up to different levels to be able to get out to go look for a job or to get a half um hygiene pass.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: So um I can understand where um you know where you what you going through with that.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: And you know, I take my hat off to you because you always be a like-minded and a strong person, even when we was behind the bars.
- 3:22SPEAKER_01: You know, you always had goals.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: You always said you need to get home to your daughter, you her big role model, she look up to you, and I'm just so happy it's a blessing that you family made it back on the other side because behind the walls, man, that shit is real.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: People don't even know what we go through in there, you know, just being far away from our family because we was way in Minnesota, you know, Wasika.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: So we was just like going out there, and in Alabama, yes, yeah.
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: We was in, I know it was a journey.
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: We went from Alabama to Minnesota, that's crazy.
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: But um, now the game, the endless game podcast basically, is based on you know, no matter if you hustling, you working, it's just never an ended game.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: Um, since you hit the streets, what you see change since you've been back, like with the culture or with the rap scene.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: Um, I feel like a lot of stuff changed.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: Like, but um it's okay, so a lot of stuff changed.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: Um, the way people dress, everybody wearing bell bottoms and stuff now.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, they wasn't really wearing that when I had left, you know.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: So I'm trying to get used to that.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: Like a lot of times I have to call my daughter and be like, Kay Leah, um, so like what should I wear?
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: Should I wear this?
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: Should I wear that?
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: Because she's up to date with everything.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: And girl, I just came home and feeling so old.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: Like I've only been gone for four and a half years, but it feels like a lifetime.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, I had to relearn how to like work my phone and stuff.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: Everything is just different.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: Like, Instagram is different, Facebook's still the same, but like um, everything is different, you know.
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: And yeah, yeah.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: So when you said you had to learn how to rework your phone, because you know, um, I was gone 10 years, I did 10 years, 10 months.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: And when you know, I was talking about it was hard for me to work the phone, you know, the Apple phone.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: People made fun of me, like, oh what?
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: They had you know iPhones before you left.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: They did, but everybody didn't have them like that, you know.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: All this new technology, the upgrades and stuff.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: So I wasn't saying that, like, oh, I never had an iPhone where they wasn't out.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: I was just saying everything is you know, you AI, you can AI this, you can AI that you know, everything just moving so fast out here.
- 5:27SPEAKER_01: It's just like you constantly gotta be on your phone, but it's like you gotta stay focused and you know, watch your surroundings too.
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: So, what you mean like it changed to you with the phone?
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: Like, um, okay, so certain stuff, like when I'd be talking to my daughter on the phone, like I would um I'd be have to call her on FaceTime, and from her phone, she can help me like work my phone.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: I'm like, what?
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: That's crazy, you know.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: Like she can um she can touch my screen and everything.
- 5:55SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 5:56SPEAKER_01: So that's too crazy to me.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: Five years ago, they didn't have that then.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: No, heck no, they didn't have that.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: Like you couldn't access, like like they said, you on FaceTime, you know, you can um you can you can share, share your screen with the next person, and they didn't have that before, you know, before I got locked up.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: So it's just all different, it's new.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: I mean, not just only that is different, like you know, um, like we talked about before, like before I went to jail, I was hustling, you know what I'm saying?
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: And like I hadn't had a job in a long time.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: So, and then before that, like I went through a real like struggle, and then I started hustling and selling drugs and stuff.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: So, like working at a job and everything, all of this is new to me, but but I'm willing to do it, make sure I get that legit money because I ain't like you said, it's hard in there, and I ain't trying to go back for real.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: We better out here on the other side free because we can make things happen for ourselves, and like you said, the job, you know, you can hustle the job just how you hustle the hustle, you know.
- 6:58SPEAKER_01: Because we ain't trying to go back to that because we got big moves we about to pop, you know, pop out and make happen.
- 7:04SPEAKER_01: So, you know, y'all stay tuned, tap in.
- 7:06SPEAKER_01: This is the beginning of the icebreaker.
- 7:09SPEAKER_01: So, um, what you think about the rap scene?
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: Um, I've been saying a lot of stuff going on with Remy Ma Papoose with Carisha um Carissa Shields.
- 7:18SPEAKER_01: What you think about that scenario, girl?
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: Okay, so um I think that Remy Ma never really fucked with Papoose, anyways.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: I think that like at some point she probably did love him, you know what I'm saying?
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: But you could just tell, like, her vibe, like when she got out and everything, it looked like he loved her way more than she loved him, you know.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: And I just knew, but at the same time, I used to be like, why is Remy Ma with this man?
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: Like, for real, for real, like I always felt like he was a lame, like for real, I kind of always felt like he was like a little bit beneath her, and and you could just you could just tell like he tried to get cloud off of her and stuff.
- 7:59SPEAKER_01: So you think that's a I'm really shocked that the man trying be down for her because he really loved her, like you know, he stuck with her through her bed, supposedly, allegedly, you know, and you just felt like they didn't have a relationship.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: Honestly, what Rumi Ma is saying is that the nigga been cheating on her and she was just trying to cover it up because she was his wife, so you never really know because for real for real nowadays, these motherfuckers don't stick around and be holding nobody to you know, nobody down.
- 8:32SPEAKER_01: True.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: So no, I don't I don't I don't know if the love is was I mean, I think that he loved her, yes, but also I feel like he tried to like get clouder for her too.
- 8:44SPEAKER_01: Okay, I can see that.
- 8:45SPEAKER_01: I can see that.
- 8:46SPEAKER_01: But popose he claimed that you feel me, he was solid.
- 8:53SPEAKER_01: That's what that's they way of being solid is different than ours.
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: So sometimes, yeah, some people work with that and just appreciate oh if he was there financially or with a visit and basically loans he was looking out.
- 9:09SPEAKER_01: So if she said it was she, you think that's the reason why she just like fucked their relationship and when she came home, she was like, move on.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: I think that um for referral, I think that like I said, it just was a matter of time.
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: Like they okay, so people come in your life for a reason and a season sometimes, you know.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: And like, yeah, I believe in true love.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: I believe in love.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: I definitely do believe in true love.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: Like I felt that, you know, but at the same time, his time had expired, like being in her life, you know.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: Um they was over with.
- 9:48SPEAKER_00: He was trying to like get cloud over her and make it seem like he was writing her music, he was writing her songs, and I don't believe that he was, you know, because if he ever was writing her music, like she said, why he didn't write his own music, you know what I'm saying?
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: So, like, like you said, I like I don't know.
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: I just believe that people come in your life for like a reason and season.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: I feel like their time has expired, but I am shocked that Remy went.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm shocked that she went online, you know, to say that he don't take care of his daughter and that um like he begged for this daughter, the kid, and he don't call her, he don't take care of her.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm I'm shocked at some of the stuff, like some of their reactions and how they've been acting towards each other.
- 10:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like the co-parenting thing is kind of like yeah, messy.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, it's messy because the way they was preaching black life, I mean black loves, black love, you know, you would have thought that they would have stuck together forever.
- 10:41SPEAKER_01: The gear he you know when it was on love and hip hop, he always represented that, but now she's saying a whole different thing.
- 10:48SPEAKER_01: So, what is about her song, her new album or her new song she got out?
- 10:52SPEAKER_01: Like I like it when you think about it.
- 10:55SPEAKER_01: It's different for her, her style.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's different for her, but I liked her.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: She always went hard, like she she, you know, she she always been like I always looked up to her, you know.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: Like when she got out of prison, like she she got back on her shit.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: She always had them bars, she always was spit off the back, you know, freestyle, whatever.
- 11:14SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, back at it for sure.
- 11:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, I really like her music.
- 11:20SPEAKER_01: So basically, um, you said your plans is to get back home to your city, and everything's gonna line up once you get there.
- 11:29SPEAKER_01: I know that for sure, because ain't nothing like when you home in your own town.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: Girl, girl, okay, like sometimes I be sitting up and I be thinking, and I'll be like, bro, I remember when we was in prison and it was just so miserable.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: Like I was never happy or whatever.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: And I remember us like sitting down, like planning this shit, talking about what we was gonna do when we get out of prison.
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: And honestly, I never really like I knew what I wanted to do, but I never actually knew that like I was gonna do it, you know what I'm saying?
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: Because I've never been consistent with anything, and now I'm just I'm really ready to hit the ground running, but it's hard, you know, it's hard coming home, though, especially now the industry.
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: This the new industry, this is the new hustle, right here, you know, podcasting, streaming.
- 12:18SPEAKER_01: So, you know, we on the right track.
- 12:21SPEAKER_01: We just gotta stay, like you said, consistent and have our short-term, long-term goals lined up and just make sure we push everything towards that and don't never stop.
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: And I feel like it was so hard for us to get out of prison, you know, just because like for females, I feel like it is so hard.
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: Like, I want people to know, like, this shit is not what you want.
- 12:46SPEAKER_00: Like, it was so hard for me to get up out of there.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: If it wasn't like you was there, you was right there every time I was fighting or something, you was right there, you know.
- 12:54SPEAKER_00: And um just once I started going to the shoe in prison, it became a repeated thing.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: All last year I was in the shoe and I kept getting my dates hooked.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: Um, it was just really hard for me to get out.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: You know, I had to go to RDAP and everything, but yeah.
- 13:10SPEAKER_01: And you did that, girl, because I must tell you, if I had to do RDAP to get out, I mean I would have got it done, but it would have been a struggle.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: Like, people don't even know, you know, that's the drug program, so you go through that, and that's how you get extra time off.
- 13:23SPEAKER_01: But any little thing could get you kicked out, so you know, I'm really proud of you because you made it through that, and I know that was a big struggle because it was like when they tried to call me to go to RDAP, I was like, Oh no, my halfway house paperwork already in.
- 13:35SPEAKER_01: I don't even want to do it.
- 13:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I remember hey, you know what though you feel me?
- 13:41SPEAKER_01: The fake ass people that come with it and all the stuff you go through, it's like a snitch program.
- 13:46SPEAKER_01: Like, if you ain't telling kind of like for real, for real, it's gonna be really hard for you because they ain't gonna like nobody that's authentic and real as yourself, and yeah, you know, you have no tolerance for bullshit.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: You ain't playing no game when it comes to respect.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: Hey, you remember though, you was on your way home, and I was like, You was like, Yeah, you're gonna be home in three months.
- 14:07SPEAKER_00: You got this, you're gonna do it through good in three months.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: Three months came by, and I was still in that bitch.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: You know what I'm saying?
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: I had got kicked out of there.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: You remember I had got kicked out of there.
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: I had got two with a girl, and she had thrown water at me.
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: I was 90 days away from coming home.
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: 90 days away from coming home, and I got kicked out of the program.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: Then I had to go right back on GP and go right back to D unit, you know, and um and go through all of that shit over there, all that messy ass shit, all that messy ass drama and stuff.
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: And you know what?
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: I was like, fuck this.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: Um, I was over there slapping bitches from left to right.
- 14:40SPEAKER_00: I was like, fuck this, I'm going back to RDAP.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: I'm signing up for RDAP and I'm getting the fuck up out of here.
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: And um, it was just so hard for me.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was um, it was just so hard for me because like once I started fighting and getting into it, like you remember how I was about my respect.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: And in pr in federal prison, it's nothing but fucking crackheads in there, it's nothing but bullshit going on and bitches disrespecting bitches and shit.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: And um, it's like you remember how hard it was for them to do our paperwork and get us up out of there.
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: We had to literally physically, you know, fight to get stuff done.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: We had to do that.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: Like what was a bar?
- 15:17SPEAKER_01: We had to run up on the ward, write it up, do all types of shit.
- 15:20SPEAKER_01: There's sometimes they don't be at work, and then people quit or they get laid off, and yeah, people don't know what it really is behind that wall to go through the struggle like that.
- 15:31SPEAKER_01: Um, because it's a challenge, it really is, and we are really blessed to be here today to be able to, you know, be on this podcast together, you know.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, basically going through a background and people don't understand like what we've been through.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: People don't understand what we've been through just to get here.
- 15:53SPEAKER_00: Like, I would have never thought in a million years I would have had to go through that stuff, you know, the type of stuff that I that we had to go through.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: Like, even you when you was about to go to camp that time and you was waiting to go to camp but ended up in the shoot.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: I would have never thought, you know, that we would have had to go through all of that just to come back home and prosper.
- 16:14SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 16:15SPEAKER_01: It was just like it was always something like once you think you this close, your freedom could get taken away from you, which is like you're in jail, but you could like the shoe is jail other than jail.
- 16:28SPEAKER_01: Like once you go to the hole or any little thing, now you gotta start all over.
- 16:33SPEAKER_01: Like you're with your commissary, with your clothes, you just lose it all.
- 16:36SPEAKER_01: It's like basically being on the streets, being addicted.
- 16:40SPEAKER_01: You I mean, it might sound crazy, but people probably can't lay if they never been there, but it's like the same thing.
- 16:45SPEAKER_01: If you was on the streets and you lost everything, and when you go to that hole, it's like everything starts over for you.
- 16:50SPEAKER_01: Like you gotta earn your way back up to basically get to a camp or to get home to a halfway house.
- 16:57SPEAKER_01: And now that you home in a halfway house, we ain't gotta worry about that no more.
- 17:02SPEAKER_01: So we got um bigger stuff on the rising.
- 17:06SPEAKER_01: Um, what you think about the money?
- 17:09SPEAKER_01: Uh, how about the dollar amount?
- 17:11SPEAKER_01: Like, money seems like it's not really what how you spend it, girl.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: Everything is so expensive.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: I mean, the gas is expensive, everything is so expensive.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: Like, and then my daughter she'd be calling me, and she'd be like, Mom, can you send me some money for this?
- 17:30SPEAKER_00: Can you get send me some money for that?
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, look, girl, you're gonna have to get you a job because you want everything.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: You is expensive, okay?
- 17:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I feel like everything you go get a job right now, baby, so you can help me out.
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think that's what's so hard about being out here, is that like everything is famous and I don't have enough support, but I still make it work, I still make it do what it do because I'm a survivor.
- 17:58SPEAKER_01: You looking great, you only been out what almost a month.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yep.
- 18:03SPEAKER_00: It'll be a month and a 22nd.
- 18:06SPEAKER_01: I'm the 22nd.
- 18:08SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's in a couple days.
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: Okay, look at you.
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: You already all dogged up, looking like a beauty, you know.
- 18:15SPEAKER_00: Okay, nope, no, this should not.
- 18:19SPEAKER_00: Hey, if if if we can get through the says we could get through anything, you hear me?
- 18:23SPEAKER_01: Anything because that's like the bottom of the barrel.
- 18:25SPEAKER_01: That's like it's all world, like behind the walls.
- 18:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 18:33SPEAKER_01: They don't even know what we went through.
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: No, they don't.
- 18:38SPEAKER_01: So everything.
- 18:39SPEAKER_01: No, that's definitely a subject.
- 18:42SPEAKER_01: When you come out the halfway house, you basically just work in right now, and then you have to go right back in after work.
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah.
- 18:50SPEAKER_00: So this is how it goes.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: Like, okay, they're pretty lean.
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: I won't lie, like it's a you know, this is a good one one of the good ones or whatever.
- 18:59SPEAKER_00: Um, I put a pass in.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: So, like, if I if I put a pass in, even if I gotta work, I can I can go to my pass, you know.
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: But I when I do that, I have to make sure that I call and I check in and let them know where I'm at.
- 19:11SPEAKER_00: And see, like right now, I feel like I'm still kind of locked up because they put ankle monitors on everybody in there.
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: But um uh my probation officer um is doing my um my house check this week, so I should I should be back home real soon.
- 19:30SPEAKER_01: That's a big deal right now.
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: That's a big deal.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: Back with my kid or whatever, because I know that she was like going through like depression and stuff when I was gone too.
- 19:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I know she can't wait till you get back to her.
- 19:49SPEAKER_01: What do you feel like was the hardest part of getting out?
- 19:52SPEAKER_01: So what is one of your um short-term goals like you want to work on, like what you you know, looking to get started, what kind of business you looking to start?
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: Um, okay, so I like fragrance, fragrance, fragrances like candles and and stuff like that.
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: Um, I really just I'm ready to set up a bit a business with anything, but I think I want to do uh like stuff for that, like candles and stuff, like you know, smell goods, like fragrances, aromas around your house, and stuff like that.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: Okay, that's nice.
- 20:27SPEAKER_01: Everybody loves those people buy them all the time.
- 20:29SPEAKER_01: Everybody loves their house, they smell fresh, their cars smell fresh, yeah.
- 20:34SPEAKER_01: Hey, that that's a great idea, right there.
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: Yep, yep.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: And then I got um another interview at a retirement home this week, also.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I'm just ready to get some money and clock this check, and yeah, I'm ready to evolve.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: Like for real, for real, it wasn't until four months before I came home.
- 20:57SPEAKER_00: Like now you know, because you was in there with me, how I was put to to spazz out, to get into it with people, and I wasn't, I didn't grow.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: It wasn't until like four or five months before I came home that I had my uh moment, and I started getting my mind right, and I started meditating.
- 21:14SPEAKER_00: I was doing yoga and I was working out every day, five days out of the week, and was just getting my mind right, planning on what to do next when I get out.
- 21:23SPEAKER_01: So I'm excited.
- 21:25SPEAKER_01: Your last 120 days, that's when you realize like this shit is real, I gotta stay focused.
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: Fuck everything, everybody.
- 21:34SPEAKER_01: I'm not putting my hands on nobody because I'm about to get the fuck up here.
- 21:39SPEAKER_00: Yes, I don't know what it was, I don't know what it was, and and but I'm glad that my aha moment came because some people never come, you know what I'm saying?
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: And it wasn't until like five months before I got home.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: I I knew that I was not gonna make it through RDAP cussing those people out, you know.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: I had got teams, okay, so.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Team is when they pull you in there and they tell you this is a problem, this is what's wrong, and if you keep doing this, we're gonna put you out.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: That happened to me three or four times while I was in RDAP, and that was the second time I went back, you know.
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: So it was a struggle.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: I kept being pulled in there for aggressive communication, you know, cussing girls out.
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: I knew that I was not gonna be able to keep going on with my life living like that, thinking like that, thinking like a child, and also I knew I wasn't gonna be able to come home and like stuff happened with my daughter and everything, and and I was gonna keep acting like that, but I'm trying to show her how to be a better person, too.
- 22:35SPEAKER_01: So basically, you had to put your emotions to the side, you feel me?
- 22:41SPEAKER_01: Put your big girl drawers on and say, Hey, block that out.
- 22:45SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna get them bitches that even I ain't even tripping off the respect because it's about my freedom.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: I feel like a real tragic like experience happened to me while I was in prison, and I had really got hurt about it, and um, I used it as motivation.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: I I got tired of using everything as an excuse to self-sabotage and fuck up and and and just keep getting in trouble.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: Like it was always an excuse for something, but I always had an excuse of why I did what I did, and so I started using shit as my motivation.
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: I knew I was never gonna prosper.
- 23:26SPEAKER_01: So that's deep, that's deep because for you to realize that, especially before you came home.
- 23:34SPEAKER_01: That's like awesome.
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: Because, like you said, most people don't, they just don't give a fuck.
- 23:38SPEAKER_01: They just want to get home.
- 23:39SPEAKER_01: However, they're gonna get home, they'll get home.
- 23:41SPEAKER_01: But some people say the program, fuck everything.
- 23:43SPEAKER_01: You know, we'd have been there with bitches, they like we maxing out, we don't care, like, yeah, and it's like you maxing out like what the fuck you ain't trying to get home.
- 23:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, hey, when you're in prison, prison is a whole different world, you know what I'm saying?
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: It's it's totally different.
- 23:58SPEAKER_00: The people that you had high expectation started, you have you looked at them a certain way, and you have them up here, you start looking at them like they down here because people really show you who they are, you know.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: That's when they really show you who they are for real, man.
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, for real.
- 24:13SPEAKER_01: Because it was so many females.
- 24:14SPEAKER_01: I thought, I mean, I knew they probably was gonna stay down, but I thought at least how they was on my line when I was out here hustling, you know, everybody at my back and call.
- 24:25SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, I didn't have to call a bitch about nothing.
- 24:28SPEAKER_01: Oh, you want me to get this?
- 24:29SPEAKER_01: Bring your kids because you know I was on a run for two and a half years, so I can relate to that because you be yeah, you just they they manipulate you basically, especially when it's some illegal money involved, like the almighty God have people have you fooled by people because people have you think oh, they genuinely they they 100, and they only be keeping it 100, 1000, 1 trillion, 1 million.
- 24:52SPEAKER_01: They really be fake at the end of the day, it'd be like they'd be loyal to the money, they're not you.
- 24:57SPEAKER_00: Remember what you said.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: Remember, and I would never forget in prison.
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: You told me you said fake is the new world these days, you know.
- 25:05SPEAKER_00: They love the fake shit, you know, and that's why for real for real.
- 25:09SPEAKER_00: I would never put nothing past nobody.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: Like, I give people the benefit of the doubt and so they cross me, but I would never really trust nobody because like people show you who they are, and when they should who they are, then you better believe it, and you better know if you go down for somebody or you go down into something, you by yourself, every man for themselves, you on your own, you know.
- 25:31SPEAKER_01: Exactly, yeah, exactly.
- 25:34SPEAKER_01: So, you know, um, I want you to pop your shit, anything you know, you want to get off your chest.
- 25:40SPEAKER_01: Now's the time, you know.
- 25:42SPEAKER_01: Put that on the flow, the flow, you know.
- 25:46SPEAKER_01: Any shots out any love you want to show to anybody, you know, because we at the end of the show.
- 25:51SPEAKER_00: So I want to say shout out to my friend Nell because she definitely held me down when we was in person.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: She held me down.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: Shout out to my sister, shout out to my mama.
- 26:00SPEAKER_00: Like them is my biggest supporters.
- 26:02SPEAKER_00: Um, I ain't gonna I I would be messy, but I'm not gonna be messy because I feel like the person I want to be messy to don't even deserve the recognition.
- 26:11SPEAKER_00: But you know what?
- 26:12SPEAKER_00: Everything I went through that shit just made me a savage, so it is what it is.
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm outside, I'm I'm I'm popping it this year.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: 2027 is my year.
- 26:21SPEAKER_01: I like that.
- 26:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I like that.
- 26:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so 2020.
- 26:25SPEAKER_00: I'm coming, I'm coming for you.
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: 2027 is my year.
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: I got out with me on some the old me.
- 26:31SPEAKER_00: I would have got out on some rah rah rah shit, but the new me, I'm a better person.
- 26:35SPEAKER_00: I'm on some grown shit, I'm a grown ass one, so I'm ready to get to get to this bag, and that's just it.
- 26:40SPEAKER_01: You feel it, all legit business, yeah, right?
- 26:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, that's the track we on.
- 26:45SPEAKER_01: We on a money train trying to get to the money, yeah.

- 26:55SPEAKER_01: Before we out, before we get out of here.
- 26:58SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 27:00SPEAKER_01: I mean, I looked at my notes, so you know, I kind of fucked up, but whatever.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: So before let the people know where they can find you, follow your journey and support what you're building, what platforms.
