- 0:12Hi, Jay Fallon, thanks for listening to these slippery
- 0:14slopes. So I want to address something
- 0:16that came up, a couple of people bought to my attention and I
- 0:19did, obviously, I, I had realized, but a couple of people
- 0:24have pointed out that I've seemed to have been shadow
- 0:26banned on YouTube. I, I would say it's not really a
- 0:29shadow anymore. It's just flat out banned.
- 0:32I believe, I believe this is because of the things that are
- 0:35brought up about QPS because I've insistently, consistently
- 0:41spoken out about issues regarding specifically
- 0:45Queensland Police Service, where I, whom I used to work for.
- 0:49If you don't know, I used to be a police officer with the
- 0:52Queensland Police Service and I was, I was within, I worked
- 0:59majority of that time. I worked within the seconded to
- 1:02the Crime and Corruption Commission as a working within
- 1:07the COVID Surveillance Unit conducting surveillance,
- 1:12physical surveillance, covert physical surveillance.
- 1:16There's all different types of surveillance anyway, so that was
- 1:18the area that I was in. So, so people have pointed out
- 1:22that I've been shadow banned. And I believe This is why I've
- 1:24been shadow banned because I've spoken out so many times about
- 1:28what's going on within QPS and the lack of leadership.
- 1:33You know, especially when the old commissioner was in the one
- 1:36who brought in the mandates, the rules for the mandate, in the
- 1:41mandate that, you know, you have to get the jab.
- 1:44You know, if you didn't get the jab, well, then you got booted
- 1:47out. Like, like what happened to me.
- 1:49This is what happened to me. So I didn't go along with the
- 1:53mandates brought in for the COVID jab, always stood down
- 1:57with two weeks, two weeks pay and then stood down without pay
- 2:02while undergoing an investigation while I was
- 2:05investigated as though I was a criminal.
- 2:07And yet other police officers who were, who did actually do
- 2:12who, whose behaviour was verging on criminal, they were.
- 2:17They were fine as long as they got the jab.
- 2:19And I bought up several, several instances where police officers
- 2:25have gotten themselves into some serious trouble, serious
- 2:29trouble. And yet the Queensland Police
- 2:31Union have gone into bat for them.
- 2:33They've been able to keep their jobs.
- 2:35However, someone like myself and there's plenty of other officers
- 2:38out there like me and former officers who did not go along
- 2:42with the mandate could see that it was wrong and yet they were
- 2:45thrust out of the role. So I believe this is anyway,
- 2:48This is why I've had the Shadow band and also I'm going to bring
- 2:52up this article just to refresh your memory.
- 2:54There's a few things we want to talk about, but just to start
- 2:56off before I want to get into the main article that I'm going
- 2:58to talk about, which just happens to be related to QBs.
- 3:02So this is the other reason why I believe I've got this chapter
- 3:07band. So just to refresh your memory,
- 3:08and I spoke about this at the end of last year before our last
- 3:11election, Police Commissioner Golszewski.
- 3:14Now he's he's been he has stood down at the moment because he's
- 3:19being treated for cancer. So goals, if you're watching all
- 3:22the best. I hope, I do hope, do pray that
- 3:25you get better. That treatment goes well.
- 3:27But he's been he's stood down because of cancer.
- 3:29He's undergoing cancer treatment.
- 3:32But remember this, Police Commissioner Golszewski
- 3:35unavailable as criticism mounts on dangerous policy.
- 3:38So the Commissioner refuses to respond to heavy criticism of an
- 3:42internal directive adding journalists incompatible with
- 3:46QPS values to a declarable association policy, including
- 3:51criminals. So, So what they go is there
- 3:54when you're in the police, when you're in Queensland police,
- 3:56I'll only speak to Queensland police because that's where I
- 3:58was. You have to, you have to fill
- 4:02out a form with your declarable associates.
- 4:07So they just in case, you know, you want to declare that you're
- 4:11actually friends with bikies or, you know, criminals, whatever.
- 4:15This kind of thing. It, it really doesn't work.
- 4:18As I've, as I have alluded to, when I was in the triple C, we
- 4:22investigated, there was one officer in particular.
- 4:26This officer was known, this officer, it was known because
- 4:32you could look in their history and see that they were, they
- 4:37were associated with a criminal organization, a known criminal
- 4:41organization. But due to the way QPS had
- 4:46decided to lower their standards because they wanted, you know,
- 4:50they were going down the lines of DEI and they wanted the the
- 4:555050 male female ratio. So they lowered standards.
- 4:59And because they lowered standards across the board, they
- 5:01were getting, they got a plethora of people in and who
- 5:05are probably still in a lot of them who should not be in the
- 5:07job, to be quite frank anyway. So, so this is how you have to
- 5:14make this declarable associations thing.
- 5:16So they've made this and they've decided that hey, journalists,
- 5:21journalists, now you have to put them, you have to put
- 5:25journalists. So they're incompatible with QBs
- 5:28values. So what does that tell you?
- 5:30That tells me that Queensland Police Service, you know, even
- 5:33though they say that they want to be open, honest, transparent.
- 5:37This is why they report when officers supposedly get in
- 5:39trouble. This is why they tell us all the
- 5:42details, some of the details, because they're trying to be
- 5:45transparent. They want transparency, but they
- 5:48don't really want transparency. They just want transparency.
- 5:52They want to appear to be transparent.
- 5:54Like the good doctor told me, like the good doctor told me.
- 5:58It's all about perception, Jason.
- 6:00It's all about perception. Anyway, That's what he said.
- 6:05So goals that. So that's what he bought up.
- 6:07So Commission commissioner won't say if you overturn an internal
- 6:12directive with journalists incompatible with QBs values in
- 6:16a declarable association policy covering criminals and religious
- 6:19extremists. So I believe this is part of why
- 6:22I've been shadow banned because I've spoken out about it because
- 6:26even though I don't consider myself a journalist, I don't
- 6:28think I am, I don't think I would fit into that because I'm
- 6:32just running a podcast. OK.
- 6:35However, they would, for starters, they would be able to
- 6:38put it down, put myself down the slippery slope saying well, he,
- 6:44they, they would probably believe that I would fall into,
- 6:47if not the religious extremist, Well then we could put him
- 6:50slightly in the religious extremist section, even though I
- 6:54don't think I am at all. I'm just a Christian and they'd
- 6:59be able to put me well, he's slightly in their view,
- 7:03religious extremist and journalist.
- 7:07So I think This is why this is This is why I've been shadow
- 7:10banned and this is what I think QBs have done.
- 7:12And I also believe I think this has happened.
- 7:15My reasons for believing this has happened is because of a
- 7:17couple of because of some correspondence I've received as
- 7:22well from people put it that way.
- 7:26So after saying all that, I've still got to talk about today's
- 7:31today's article. This coming out in the Courier
- 7:34Mail Queensland Police Service paying 500 K 500,000.
- 7:41That's half $1,000,000 a month to lease an empty Stones Corner
- 7:47building. If you don't know where Stones
- 7:48Corner is, that's a suburb scenario in Brisbane.
- 7:51It's a little, it's a bit of a funky little area.
- 7:54You get some generally you get some cool coffee, some good
- 7:57coffee down there. This building actually, it's
- 7:59down the just down the road from where, Oh, what was that cafe
- 8:05used to go to Anyway, you get a good breakfast and that just
- 8:08around the corner Queensland Police is leasing an empty
- 8:10building for the same cost is hiring at multiple mansions or a
- 8:14private island. Hardaway kids about that.
- 8:17The 240,000,000 rental deal, $240 million rental for a Stones
- 8:22Corner building. How, oh how do the people in
- 8:27Queensland government not get put in jail for some of these
- 8:31deals that they do, which to me just seems it's blatantly
- 8:35obvious. They just, you know, they've got
- 8:38some little side deal side hustle going with they've gotten
- 8:41some payouts in the background anyway.
- 8:44So which was labeled one of the worst agreements ever made by a
- 8:48department in the state government.
- 8:50The Career Mail revealed the controversial 15 year deal and
- 8:55it's and his details last year, including that developers only
- 8:59paid 45,000,000 for the building.
- 9:02So the rental deal is 240 million, but the building itself
- 9:05was only was only paid for for 45,000,000.
- 9:10How does that work? There was an option for an 8
- 9:13year extension in the deal worth up to 240 million, which has
- 9:16been labeled as one of the worst lease agreements.
- 9:19The Courier Mail has been told the services paying about
- 9:23500,000 a month to lease the building.
- 9:26It has been for months while it awaits the findings of a Crime
- 9:31and Corruption Commission investigation into the deal.
- 9:34And like I said, I worked, I was seconded to the crime Corruption
- 9:39Commission for years. They're they're investigating
- 9:43it. It's costing the government,
- 9:44it's costing you and I 500,000 a month.
- 9:48The Crime and Corruption Commission are not known for
- 9:50their for being able to investigate things in a speedy
- 9:54fashion. They are the very definition of
- 9:58turtle speed. They it's shocking how slow they
- 10:01will go. The Queensland Police Service
- 10:04did not respond. You know, because they open and
- 10:07transparent except for when you point out or you ask questions
- 10:10about how they're wasting money, taxpayer money, 500 grand a
- 10:14month. Sorry, we can't tell you about
- 10:16that. The Queensland Police Service
- 10:17did not respond to direct questions sent by The Courier
- 10:20Mail on Tuesday about the current situation of the leasing
- 10:23cost, saying only that it was inappropriate to Conk.
- 10:32How is it inappropriate? It's inappropriate now, OK, to
- 10:37comment. We can't possibly comment.
- 10:41My goodness, it goes on. Just comparing it to, you know,
- 10:44other other things that you can purchase for that same price
- 10:50anyway. The police service has declined
- 10:52to list specific elements of the lease agreement other than
- 10:56saying it is meeting its contractual obligations.
- 11:00Commissioner Steve Golszewski ordered an audit of the deal in
- 11:04August. Because I believe the deal came
- 11:06out while Katarina Carroll, she oversaw it.
- 11:10She was overseeing the Queensland Police Service.
- 11:12You know, she stood down in, you know, under mysterious
- 11:16circumstances because she was just, she was not a good leader,
- 11:21let's put it that way. Anyway.
- 11:24So Gulshewski, he's ordered an audit into it.
- 11:27It's still ongoing. Only 500 grand a month.
- 11:31It's nothing. So dealing with quarter Mensa
- 11:36tasked to investigate after Gulshewski said he had concerns
- 11:40about the cost and governance concerns.
- 11:43Well, I wonder if, I wonder if Katarina Carroll's going to get
- 11:47dragged in before the courts to answer a few questions before
- 11:51before Parliament to answer a few questions.
- 11:54Wouldn't it be funny? Wouldn't it be funny if, you
- 11:57know, after all the mandate rubbish she put everyone through
- 12:01if she ended up going to jail? In November, Goshewski referred
- 12:10the deal to the Triple C for transparency purposes.
- 12:14Transparency purposes, they can't answer any questions.
- 12:17But for transparency purposes and because he was required to
- 12:20report anything where there was a reasonable suspicion of
- 12:23misconduct or other corrupt activity.
- 12:25So was it for transparency purposes or because he's
- 12:28required to? The career male asked Queensland
- 12:31Police Service on Tuesday a range of questions including
- 12:34about the currently situation and cost, any negotiations with
- 12:38the building owners, the progress of the building fit
- 12:41out, when police would move in and the Triple C investigation,
- 12:44a spokesman said. The spokesman did not answer any
- 12:50of the questions, only saying it would be inappropriate to
- 12:53provide further comment due to the Triple C investigation.
- 12:58What an excuse to the Triple C investigation because we are
- 13:03open, honest, transparent, and it's not our money.
- 13:08So really, who gives a damn? Because it's it's it's public
- 13:11money, public money. So is anyone actually going to
- 13:15answer for this? Is someone going to go to jail?
- 13:19They're not open. They're not transparent.
- 13:21They are liars, liars. They are more focused on shadow
- 13:27shadow banning me from saying things about them on YouTube and
- 13:33Spotify. Heaven forbid someone point out
- 13:36that they, you know, they couldn't investigate a they
- 13:40couldn't investigate a Chuck raffle.
- 13:44But hey, open and transparent. Open and transparent.
- 13:49Yeah, sure you are. Look, I do not believe them for
- 13:55a second when they say that they are open, when they say they are
- 13:58transparent, when they say I believe that the government, the
- 14:02previous government was as corrupt as you could possibly
- 14:06get. They were as corrupt as as just,
- 14:10you know, all the other Labour governments within Australia.
- 14:12But let's not, you know, it's not just Labour.
- 14:17The Liberals I don't think are any better when it comes to this
- 14:20kind of thing, but the Queensland Police Service, it
- 14:26needs a thorough clean out. Whoever made this deal, how, how
- 14:33hard is it to investigate? You go back, you look at who
- 14:36signed the contracts, who made the agreements with all that,
- 14:39with the the building owners who was investigating whether they
- 14:43should move in or not and you start questioning them.
- 14:47You stand everyone down. Hey, we're going to give you
- 14:50what we gave all the people with the mandates, 2 weeks pay.
- 14:53Then you get stood down without without pay while we continue to
- 14:57investigate this alleged illegal activity where you're costing
- 15:01the taxpayer $1,000,000 every two months, nearly $1,000,000
- 15:05every two months. We're going to investigate that
- 15:07and you get stood down without pay.
- 15:09Oh, and by the way, like what happens with the police because
- 15:12you work for the government? Well, you can't go and get
- 15:15another job while we're investigating.
- 15:17You can't go and get another job while you're still employed,
- 15:22while you're still attached with the government.
- 15:27I don't it shouldn't be taking this long, but it's, it's
- 15:30costing the government money, it's costing the people money.
- 15:35It's not costing any of these people.
- 15:37It's not costing the triple C money.
- 15:39That's why this investigation is still rolling on months.
- 15:44If they organize this investigation, ordered the
- 15:47investigation, what was it, August last year?
- 15:50It's not costing this triple C any money.
- 15:53They're just investigating. They should have had it done
- 15:55within about a month. Head should have rolled.
- 15:58People should be standing before the courts.
- 15:59This is all my opinion. You're probably not going to see
- 16:03this because I'm, like I said, shadow band.
- 16:05But whatever, I'll continue to speak out.
- 16:07Anyway, my name is Jay Fallon, former police officer with the
- 16:11Queensland Police Service, who it looks like extremely corrupt
- 16:15along with the Crime and Corruption Commission.
- 16:18Apparently you can't investigate this in a timely manner.
- 16:24Anyway, that's all my opinion. That's all it is just my
- 16:27opinion. Go and check out my music, Jay
- 16:30Fallon on Apple, Spotify, all the good stuff, YouTube.
- 16:35Thanks for listening to the Slippery Slope.
- 16:39If you'll decide
