- 0:28Speaker 1: about We talked a little about football, more specifically where
- 0:31Speaker 1: Derek Henry's gonna end up, Shane Gillis and his monologue
- 0:34Speaker 1: at SNL and how he gave it to the man
- 0:36Speaker 1: while also doing everything he could for sn L because

- 0:55Speaker 1: but this is me asking you to please tell a
- 0:57Speaker 1: friend just to subscribe to this podcast, whether it be
- 0:59Speaker 1: Rumble or you Tube, Apple, Spotify, downcast, anything. Enjoy this episode.

- 1:10Speaker 2: YouTube was twour months old when I started my show,
- 1:12Speaker 2: so like, it wasn't like people like what you're doing now,
- 1:15Speaker 2: people like, oh podcast can hit right like it's known.
- 1:19Speaker 2: When I was like I'm doing this, people thought I
- 1:21Speaker 2: lost my mind. Stupid god and games, les lam language,
- 1:29Speaker 2: no bad memory.
- 1:33Speaker 3: No simple.
- 1:41Speaker 1: It's all right. Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to another episode
- 1:52Speaker 1: of Busting with the Boys. This is episode two sixty
- 1:55Speaker 1: four and we're too sixty four five, two sixty five.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Our guest today is gonna be Gary Vee. But you
- 2:04Speaker 1: guys know the deal, especially if you're Tier ones. We're
- 2:05Speaker 1: gonna sit, we're gonna talk, we're gonna chat, have a
- 2:08Speaker 1: nice time with each other.
- 2:09Speaker 4: If you.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Uh, it's a solo on me right now. I'm assuming yeah,
- 2:12Speaker 1: So go ahead, get that thing out to a wide
- 2:14Speaker 1: view of boom. Will Compton's not here. His beautiful teeth
- 2:17Speaker 1: turn here, his witty personality is nowhere to be seen.
- 2:20Speaker 1: He is in Chicago right now for the barstool Combine Games.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Now.
- 2:25Speaker 1: I put this in a tweet earlier. I don't know
- 2:26Speaker 1: if you guys saw it. The only person with anything
- 2:28Speaker 1: to lose in that game is Will Compton. Also, we'll
- 2:31Speaker 1: talk a little bit bit about MGK because I want to,
- 2:34Speaker 1: because I enjoy his new song that came out. We'll
- 2:36Speaker 1: get more into that, and then also we're gonna hit
- 2:38Speaker 1: up Cam Newton and other things. But before we do that,
- 2:42Speaker 1: the Chevy Silverado has a command has commanding and unstoppable grit,
- 2:46Speaker 1: legendary capability and dependability too. We've all spent time seat
- 2:51Speaker 1: time as they call it in the biz, behind the
- 2:54Speaker 1: wheel of a Silverado. And we're not just truck guys
- 2:57Speaker 1: or Chevy truck guys. You know about this Zer two
- 2:59Speaker 1: family of trucks, lifted and ready for anything right from
- 3:03Speaker 1: the factory. But now Silverado is taking it to the
- 3:06Speaker 1: next level with even more Silverado truck tech like available
- 3:10Speaker 1: supercrus the only Supercrews Only. Supercrus lets you drive hands
- 3:15Speaker 1: free and toe hands free on more than four hundred
- 3:18Speaker 1: let me listen to me four hundred thousand miles of
- 3:23Speaker 1: compatible roads with over one hundred and thirty eight million
- 3:26Speaker 1: miles of hand free driving by customers. Supercrews will help
- 3:30Speaker 1: you get to your adventure, energize, and it'll help you
- 3:34Speaker 1: drive home. Go to Chevy dot com where you can
- 3:36Speaker 1: check out Silverado, build your own Silverado online, and learn
- 3:39Speaker 1: more important details about the Supercruse. Big time stuff. We'll listened.
- 3:44Speaker 1: We've all gone on a road trip and eventually this
- 3:47Speaker 1: little muscle. I don't have a big one, but this
- 3:49Speaker 1: is the one right here. Just doing the pedal sometimes
- 3:51Speaker 1: is frustrating, and you'll be able to put that supercrus on.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Maybe you're towing a nice little beautiful boat in the back.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Guess what, bing bang boom. You are energized when you
- 3:58Speaker 1: get there, just like I am today. Boy it's Monday,
- 4:00Speaker 1: you're viewing this on Tuesday, and I'm I'm an electrostack
- 4:03Speaker 1: to have you. Before we started the show, I had Mitch.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I made him pop on machine gun Kelly's newest single
- 4:11Speaker 1: just let Me Go, Don't Let Me Go, Don't Let
- 4:13Speaker 1: Me Go now sad Boys song, And I gave you
- 4:15Speaker 1: guys my whole spiel about Machine Gun Kelly and our
- 4:18Speaker 1: two interactions. It was like ying yang one was great,
- 4:21Speaker 1: one not so great, but not that way. It was
- 4:22Speaker 1: flipped the other way around. I love this man's music.
- 4:26Speaker 1: I think it's absolutely incredible. I had the opportunity to
- 4:28Speaker 1: tell him his album we put out tickets to My
- 4:30Speaker 1: Downfall was the best album I've heard since two thousand
- 4:33Speaker 1: and three Obliquent, a two self titled album. So with
- 4:36Speaker 1: that being said, you guys get a chance to go
- 4:37Speaker 1: check that out, because no, no free shadows. But you know,
- 4:40Speaker 1: the boy's gonna tell you what he likes, and that's
- 4:42Speaker 1: what I That's what I like, dude. So if you
- 4:44Speaker 1: don't like that, too bad, you're watching the show. That's
- 4:47Speaker 1: what I like. Oh what else is going on? Cam Newton?
- 4:52Speaker 1: You want to pop that video for me real quick, jackie,
- 4:54Speaker 1: because I seen a couple of things. The big news.
- 4:58Speaker 1: The big news about Cam Newton right now is, first off,
- 5:01Speaker 1: anybody who's seen him in person looks like a damn
- 5:03Speaker 1: action figure. He goes to he's in what he's ad
- 5:06Speaker 1: a youth football camp or something like that, some sort
- 5:09Speaker 1: of camp seven on seven camp, the softest version of
- 5:14Speaker 1: football you could possibly be a part of. A couple
- 5:16Speaker 1: of hardos want to go in the paint with Cam Newton. Now,
- 5:19Speaker 1: thank god for the roots coming out of his hat,
- 5:21Speaker 1: because truly, when you watch it at first glance, Yo,
- 5:24Speaker 1: that man's really handling himself a bunch of a couple
- 5:26Speaker 1: of boys around there, which is nice. But then you
- 5:28Speaker 1: start to notice the details and you see that this
- 5:31Speaker 1: dude with the flat brim hat ripping around getting pulled
- 5:34Speaker 1: away by people. He's literally reaching to take somebody out
- 5:37Speaker 1: and his hat hasn't even moved. Now that tells me
- 5:39Speaker 1: two things. One the dreads really help keep the hat on,
- 5:43Speaker 1: and the second thing, maybe there's not enough circulation to
- 5:47Speaker 1: his cranium because we've all had a hat on that
- 5:49Speaker 1: was one snap too tight. Mitch, you definitely know about that.
- 5:52Speaker 1: It's hard, it hurts, right, it's a bit of a deal. No,
- 5:56Speaker 1: it's not comfortable. But du shadow Cam Newton, man, because
- 6:00Speaker 1: I don't know what you know happened for this to happen.
- 6:05Speaker 1: I don't know what series of events took place for
- 6:07Speaker 1: this man to get in a fight with what looks
- 6:09Speaker 1: like kids young adults. I don't know, but they must
- 6:14Speaker 1: have done something real bad to pis him off, because
- 6:16Speaker 1: Cam Newton's constantly in the light and for you to
- 6:19Speaker 1: switch up like that in a hurry, you need to
- 6:21Speaker 1: do something in a big way. Did you guys see
- 6:23Speaker 1: the video?
- 6:24Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 6:24Speaker 1: Would you boys think about it? Cam Newton Big Dub
- 6:26Speaker 1: or Big.
- 6:26Speaker 3: L Big Dub.
- 6:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:29Speaker 5: I mean it's like four guys on one Hell, I
- 6:31Speaker 5: want to know how old these kids are though? If
- 6:33Speaker 5: they look little, yeah, I mean Cam Newton's also like
- 6:36Speaker 5: six six and like, you know, a huge man.
- 6:38Speaker 3: So he makes anybody the way you said man just now.
- 6:42Speaker 3: I mean he's a big boy.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Here's a big boy.
- 6:44Speaker 5: He's definitely not fighting like youth teens. I think these
- 6:47Speaker 5: are like probably parents of of kids.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I could see that. I definitely see that.
- 6:52Speaker 5: We're all talking about his hat not coming off. You
- 6:54Speaker 5: can see the hat looks custom made to where his
- 6:57Speaker 5: dreads were cut.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Through the of it. Yeah, it's held on pretty tight.
- 7:02Speaker 1: It's like groot with style. Dude, I like that. It's
- 7:05Speaker 1: a nice deal mixed.
- 7:06Speaker 6: Would you think I think it's one insane for Cam
- 7:10Speaker 6: to even be attacked like that. Yeah, but like I mean,
- 7:13Speaker 6: he he wasn't even like throwing any punches or anything.
- 7:16Speaker 6: He was just like throwing people off of him, right,
- 7:18Speaker 6: Those people.
- 7:19Speaker 7: Were flying, you know what he was doing. He's a
- 7:22Speaker 7: big boy.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Yeah, becoming Superman, bro, Yeah, he's becoming super massive.
- 7:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:26Speaker 1: He's a dude. He's a big cat. Beautiful calves on him,
- 7:30Speaker 1: Beautiful calves. When you're doing NCAA fourteen Creative Player and
- 7:33Speaker 1: you're just putting ninety nine on everything and the dude's
- 7:35Speaker 1: like two forty the Legit just made Cam Newton, except
- 7:39Speaker 1: my dude was always white because I thought we had
- 7:40Speaker 1: to beat the odds even on this game. You know, Okay,
- 7:43Speaker 1: sometimes I make a black dude. Sometimes I crush the
- 7:45Speaker 1: black dude. Get a little light skinned guy in there.
- 7:48Speaker 1: What else, dude, what happened this weekend? You know what
- 7:50Speaker 1: else happened this weekend? The boy Shane Gillis, The boy
- 7:55Speaker 1: Shane Gillis did SNL.
- 7:58Speaker 4: Now.
- 7:58Speaker 1: I was at Ernest as how before this whole thing started,
- 8:01Speaker 1: and I thought it came on at seven o'clock Eastern,
- 8:04Speaker 1: six o'clock Central, him and his wife and their kid.
- 8:07Speaker 1: They want to go to dinner, So I'm like kind
- 8:09Speaker 1: of low key, being rude, rushing everybody through dinner, because
- 8:11Speaker 1: I truly want to see this monologue, because I think
- 8:14Speaker 1: to myself, Norm m MacDonald nor McDonald, if there are
- 8:18Speaker 1: those of you who don't know, he was on the
- 8:19Speaker 1: cast of SNL. He did the weekend Report and then
- 8:22Speaker 1: was fired, and he has this incredible monologue. I believe
- 8:26Speaker 1: it was October twenty third, nineteen ninety nine. The reason
- 8:28Speaker 1: why I know that I looked it up last night.
- 8:30Speaker 1: His monologue is essentially shitting on SNL the entire time
- 8:33Speaker 1: he's on SNL because he was fired for not being funny.
- 8:35Speaker 1: But a year and a half later he's asked to
- 8:37Speaker 1: host the show. So is it because he's not funny
- 8:39Speaker 1: or because the show actually sucks? And he finishes with
- 8:41Speaker 1: the patented line that's supposed to be, hey, we have
- 8:45Speaker 1: a great show for you tonight, but he says, hey,
- 8:47Speaker 1: we have a bad show for you tonight, so stick around,
- 8:48Speaker 1: and he goes at the entire cast and everything. I
- 8:51Speaker 1: was on the phone with Ernest after after the whole
- 8:54Speaker 1: thing yesterday, and he had a great point, He's like,
- 8:58Speaker 1: he probably studied that monolog because what an incredible situation
- 9:02Speaker 1: it is for Shane Gillis to truly have the ascent
- 9:04Speaker 1: he has had. And I know people come at us
- 9:06Speaker 1: all the time about hey, get off, Yeah you glazing
- 9:09Speaker 1: hard on the boy, get off. Shane's nutsta da da
- 9:11Speaker 1: da dah. Like, listen, if you're able to have a
- 9:14Speaker 1: homie that crushes life, you should be able to give
- 9:17Speaker 1: flowers to the homie. Now, Shane is an absolute or
- 9:21Speaker 1: past five minutes, He's an absolute fucking stud everything. The
- 9:25Speaker 1: guy that you see on the stage doing his thing
- 9:28Speaker 1: with the little destrung shoulders and all that, that's him,
- 9:31Speaker 1: one hundred. He's the funniest guy in the room at
- 9:33Speaker 1: all times. He's the one of the wittiest people I
- 9:35Speaker 1: ever met. And he came on that stage and what
- 9:37Speaker 1: he didn't do is change himself, And I think that
- 9:41Speaker 1: is the coolest fucking thing. Did you guys see the monologue,
- 9:42Speaker 1: by the way, Yeah, yeah, he didn't change himself. Dude
- 9:47Speaker 1: laid down three gays one retard and said cracker on
- 9:51Speaker 1: live TV, like and then congratulated himself during his monologue.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Is that yeah? I said cracker like that is. And
- 9:57Speaker 1: that's the thing too, is This is another point that
- 10:00Speaker 1: Ernest brought up. You know, I keep bringing him up
- 10:02Speaker 1: because these aren't my original thoughts. These are just things
- 10:04Speaker 1: that I also agree with, Like SNL itself, the show
- 10:08Speaker 1: it is now, it's been on for forty nine seasons,
- 10:10Speaker 1: is an iconic show, like everybody loves SNL or the idea,
- 10:15Speaker 1: the concept of SNL. If you're a writer or comedian,
- 10:18Speaker 1: I'm sure, I'm sure at one point your goal was
- 10:20Speaker 1: to get an SNL. But the show is bad now,
- 10:22Speaker 1: It's not as good as it used to be. It's
- 10:24Speaker 1: gotta be incredibly tiring for writers every single week come
- 10:29Speaker 1: up with new material. We're gonna pack an hour of
- 10:32Speaker 1: comedy with you know, a small break for commercials and
- 10:36Speaker 1: are singing guests, but we have to put five to
- 10:38Speaker 1: six skits alive that are many people laugh. Lean's super
- 10:43Speaker 1: show that Lean's super Left and Lauren Michaels, who's been
- 10:46Speaker 1: a part of this thing for the entire time. He
- 10:48Speaker 1: can't go to Shane Gillis and he can't ask, Hey, Shane,
- 10:51Speaker 1: I need you to be yourself. I need you to
- 10:54Speaker 1: use your type of bravado the entire time. He just
- 10:59Speaker 1: has to get Shane and bring him in and hope
- 11:02Speaker 1: he doesn't change anything about himself, which Shane absolutely delivered.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I'm sure if you look up the numbers of the views,
- 11:08Speaker 1: I bet you that was one of the most highest
- 11:10Speaker 1: viewed SNL shows of all time. And what does that
- 11:13Speaker 1: tell us. It tells us that comedy is a place
- 11:16Speaker 1: that is sacred to being able to say whatever the
- 11:18Speaker 1: fuck you want. It should be the only place in
- 11:21Speaker 1: the world. Not the only place in the world. I'm
- 11:22Speaker 1: gonna take that back real quick, but it should be
- 11:25Speaker 1: one of the places that, regardless of what you say,
- 11:27Speaker 1: how you deliver it, is the only thing that matters
- 11:30Speaker 1: this man in this world we live in where you know,
- 11:34Speaker 1: we're not gonna get into all that stuff, but where
- 11:36Speaker 1: the world we're living in now says the word gay
- 11:38Speaker 1: three times, you remembering your mom's gay little boy, huh,
- 11:41Speaker 1: your gay best friend, all that, and then talks about
- 11:44Speaker 1: his cousin who has down syndrome and says the word retard,
- 11:47Speaker 1: and then hits us with a cracker after that, and then
- 11:50Speaker 1: makes a block joke in between. That is the reason
- 11:54Speaker 1: why Shane Gillis is gonna be on the Mount Rushmore
- 11:56Speaker 1: someday of comedy. He refuses to change who he is.
- 11:59Speaker 1: If you look at back to this is the best part.
- 12:01Speaker 1: And I hope you zoom in on this Mitch during
- 12:03Speaker 1: the show. If you're watching on YouTube, there's a girl
- 12:05Speaker 1: with red hair in the back and she if you
- 12:08Speaker 1: watch the entire eight minute monologue, she does not change
- 12:11Speaker 1: your facial expression. She's livid the entire time. She's mad
- 12:15Speaker 1: that this hot man is on the stage preaching. Now
- 12:19Speaker 1: you can tell this is my favorite part about the
- 12:21Speaker 1: entire monologue. You could tell Shane was nervous. It was
- 12:25Speaker 1: really you could tell he was breathing heavy. I don't
- 12:28Speaker 1: know if he had to walk up some stairs before
- 12:29Speaker 1: walking down those three stairs, but he was breathing heavy
- 12:31Speaker 1: as if he went through some stairs and he was
- 12:33Speaker 1: feeling it out because he's now doing something in the
- 12:36Speaker 1: public eye that he knows he has viewers that do
- 12:39Speaker 1: not watch his shit, and he's got to essentially make
- 12:42Speaker 1: you laugh while still being himself. So let's give a
- 12:45Speaker 1: round of aposter. Shane Gillis soon like to me, that
- 12:49Speaker 1: was one of the coolest things you could ever do.
- 12:52Speaker 1: One of the coolest things ever is host essen L.
- 12:54Speaker 1: But we all think back to like the Sandler days
- 12:57Speaker 1: and the Blue she days and the Farley days and
- 12:59Speaker 1: all like all those times like when we were growing
- 13:01Speaker 1: up that type of SNL. Now the only guy I
- 13:03Speaker 1: know from SNL is the white dude and the black
- 13:06Speaker 1: dude who do Weekend Report and Keenan Allen those guys
- 13:09Speaker 1: to me, and then all the other guys are is
- 13:11Speaker 1: that his name? Wait? Now there's Keenan Kel. What oh so, Keenan.
- 13:18Speaker 1: What's the other dude's name? What's his name? We guy
- 13:20Speaker 1: him thinking of Keenan Thompson, which was from Keenan and Kel.
- 13:26Speaker 1: You guys remember that hell of a shower?
- 13:29Speaker 4: Hey, welcome to.
- 13:30Speaker 1: The Good Burger? Can't I take your order?
- 13:32Speaker 6: That?
- 13:32Speaker 1: He's very funny to me, But I don't know the
- 13:34Speaker 1: rest of the cast. And I was a kid too
- 13:36Speaker 1: that would sit down Saturday nights excited to watch sn L,
- 13:39Speaker 1: excited to watch the skits. That's something I always loved,
- 13:41Speaker 1: the Mad TVs and the comedy centrals. That's what that
- 13:44Speaker 1: was on at my house. So it was very cool
- 13:46Speaker 1: to see one of your friends go and fucking kill
- 13:49Speaker 1: it like that.
- 13:49Speaker 4: Dude.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Gotta love do you bos have anything to say about
- 13:52Speaker 1: Shane and SNL. Do you guys watch it? Yeah, I
- 13:54Speaker 1: already asked you that question. What'd you think?
- 13:57Speaker 3: Yeah? I mean it was good. I thought his monologue
- 13:59Speaker 3: was really good.
- 13:59Speaker 5: I think the skits are just they were trying too
- 14:01Speaker 5: hard to force the Trump stuff. It's always political or
- 14:05Speaker 5: religious and it's like, we not just have fun anymore.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Hey, can the boys just have a little fun out here?
- 14:09Speaker 3: A little fun?
- 14:10Speaker 5: I still think there was funny parts of the skits,
- 14:12Speaker 5: but the monologue obviously was There's some shock value in it,
- 14:16Speaker 5: and I think obviously Shane did exactly what people wanted
- 14:19Speaker 5: him to do. So yeah, congrats to him for getting
- 14:22Speaker 5: on there. I'm sure it was so nerve wracking, cough
- 14:25Speaker 5: to be on that stage and who knows, man, but
- 14:29Speaker 5: I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the monologue. It was just
- 14:31Speaker 5: it was classic Shane, classic Shane, just just going at
- 14:35Speaker 5: his family the whole time, going at his.
- 14:36Speaker 4: Family and doing that. It nicked me.
- 14:38Speaker 2: It nicked me.
- 14:39Speaker 1: I thought that Trump one was good. I thought the
- 14:43Speaker 1: sneaker thing was hilarious because you obviously Shane does a
- 14:46Speaker 1: great Trump impresona impersonation. But I think they did a
- 14:49Speaker 1: good job of doing the Trump thing and then at
- 14:51Speaker 1: the end of it doing like making fun of Biden
- 14:53Speaker 1: as well. Yeah, like that's that to me is where
- 14:55Speaker 1: I think we fall We fall off a little bit
- 14:56Speaker 1: when it comes to like SNL in general. Right, it's
- 14:59Speaker 1: really hard coming at the right and then not so
- 15:01Speaker 1: much jokes to the left. But I enjoy I enjoyed
- 15:04Speaker 1: when people make fun of people. I like it. I
- 15:06Speaker 1: don't like it so much when it's on me. But
- 15:08Speaker 1: you eat it and you keep moving forward. Look for
- 15:10Speaker 1: your opportunity to tell me somebody real quick. But yeah, dude,
- 15:12Speaker 1: I was I was stoked for that.
- 15:14Speaker 3: That.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Uh, that absolutely fired me up. The U I tell
- 15:18Speaker 1: you boys, my my kid. I taught my kid the
- 15:21Speaker 1: batmobile and the rubber band. Have you seen that? You
- 15:23Speaker 1: guys used to do that when you were a kid.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Seat the rubber band three fingers, two fingers? You ever
- 15:28Speaker 1: did that? I feel like that'd be a staple. Dude,
- 15:31Speaker 1: you that that's the first step. The next step is
- 15:32Speaker 1: tech dex and then your pants are halfway down your
- 15:35Speaker 1: ass with the studded belt.
- 15:36Speaker 3: What is I'm confused on what the rubber band thing is?
- 15:39Speaker 1: So if you take a rubber band, you put like
- 15:41Speaker 1: a robband over the three fingers, and then you take
- 15:43Speaker 1: your two fingers go through one side rubber band and
- 15:46Speaker 1: over and then Bennett, oh, it turns into a Batman
- 15:50Speaker 1: batmobile type of thing that.
- 15:51Speaker 5: You were talking about, like the whole just like getting
- 15:55Speaker 5: your boys with rubber bands when you just like smack.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Oh no, that ship. I would not do that to
- 15:59Speaker 1: my six year old to learn. Yeah, Wind's gotta learn quick, dude.
- 16:02Speaker 1: We do have a sing in our house. Act like
- 16:04Speaker 1: a bitch, get treated like a bitch. That is a
- 16:06Speaker 1: saying in the Luwan household. Our kids haven't heard that yet,
- 16:09Speaker 1: but my wife and I we definitely explain that to
- 16:11Speaker 1: each other.
- 16:12Speaker 7: But it's cool.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Uh, when's definitely at that age right now, dude, where
- 16:15Speaker 1: she's she's acting some type of way like she's trying
- 16:18Speaker 1: to find the line of being a little bit rude
- 16:21Speaker 1: and that that pisses me off because.
- 16:23Speaker 3: She's got testing dude, she and she does.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Yeah, But I'm finding it's cool part because I'm finding
- 16:29Speaker 1: my lane as a father, Like I used to think
- 16:31Speaker 1: I'll be the fun dad and I'll be this and
- 16:32Speaker 1: that when it's playtime between me and Taylor. I dumb
- 16:36Speaker 1: mean Tayling in the fun the fun category, I absolutely
- 16:39Speaker 1: murder her like I'm out there. My kids are like Daddy,
- 16:42Speaker 1: pretend this. I'm pretending I'm not right then and there.
- 16:45Speaker 1: But on the other hand, when it comes to discipline,
- 16:47Speaker 1: Tailor is not as hard on them as I am.
- 16:50Speaker 1: And I found myself in the good like I'm a good, solid,
- 16:53Speaker 1: grumpy dad. Now I do. I do a great job
- 16:56Speaker 1: of finding some grump in me. And my kids are
- 16:58Speaker 1: starting to look at the look when they're not listening
- 17:00Speaker 1: to mom and I get one of these. They just know,
- 17:04Speaker 1: right then and there, I gotta go do what I
- 17:05Speaker 1: was supposed to do. So I had to have a
- 17:07Speaker 1: big talk with Win this week because she was It
- 17:09Speaker 1: was a full moon outside on Saturday. I don't know
- 17:11Speaker 1: if you guys saw that, but they were out there
- 17:13Speaker 1: damn near Howland Bro. They were going crazy on the
- 17:16Speaker 1: whole thing. It was a bit of a deal man.
- 17:18Speaker 1: It truly was kids, ma'am, and just it's never stops.
- 17:23Speaker 1: So when you two have kids, just make sure you're
- 17:25Speaker 1: ready because there is no downtime. There's no chill, boy,
- 17:29Speaker 1: there's no time for Michi to go make his crackers,
- 17:30Speaker 1: peanut butter and jelly. That there's no time to leave
- 17:33Speaker 1: work at noon on a Friday to go work out. Well,
- 17:35Speaker 1: actually that that time will still be there because you'll
- 17:37Speaker 1: be at work.
- 17:38Speaker 3: Do we want to get down this road? You're just
- 17:41Speaker 3: having fun, dude, I know, I know, I I would.
- 17:44Speaker 3: You need to look at my contract?
- 17:47Speaker 1: Oh is your contracts say I get to work out
- 17:49Speaker 1: at noon on Fridays.
- 17:50Speaker 5: No, it says that I'm in the shop four days
- 17:52Speaker 5: a week, when I'm here five days a week every week.
- 17:55Speaker 5: So I mean if you were, if you were on
- 17:56Speaker 5: the business side of it's required.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Yeah, is required. The people that are listening now, If
- 18:02Speaker 1: you're here for Gary Ve, great, we'll get to him
- 18:03Speaker 1: in about thirty minutes. But I want you guys to
- 18:06Speaker 1: know that without you guys subscribing, unsubscribing, and resubscribing, sending
- 18:11Speaker 1: it to your friends, commenting all that stuff, we're nothing.
- 18:14Speaker 1: We're absolutely nothing. We're just one big dumb idiot and
- 18:17Speaker 1: his other big dumb idiot spewing bullshit into a microphone
- 18:21Speaker 1: while nobody watches. Without you, guys were nothing. So Jack,
- 18:26Speaker 1: thank you for coming in five days a week. I guess, brother,
- 18:28Speaker 1: I appreciate that you're never off. We're never off.
- 18:33Speaker 3: We're never off. What do you mean you take plenty off?
- 18:36Speaker 1: What do I take off? Do you think I just
- 18:38Speaker 1: go home and I fuck around. I don't think about
- 18:40Speaker 1: this at all.
- 18:40Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 18:41Speaker 1: I'm not there answering emails. Dude, I got a computer. Now,
- 18:44Speaker 1: I got a computer. You guys know what I might
- 18:47Speaker 1: have coming up the pipe. We don't want to say
- 18:48Speaker 1: on the show.
- 18:50Speaker 3: What's that?
- 18:51Speaker 7: How many computers have you had? Is that the second third?
- 18:53Speaker 1: That's my third computer in twenty four months. But that's
- 18:56Speaker 1: not a bad number, right, Like? How long have you
- 18:58Speaker 1: had your computer?
- 19:00Speaker 7: I still have the same computer from college.
- 19:03Speaker 1: I'd hate to see the search history on that.
- 19:05Speaker 6: Yeah, but I mean I still have it. I haven't
- 19:06Speaker 6: lost it, and I have the one that you y'all
- 19:08Speaker 6: gave us and don't lose my stuff.
- 19:12Speaker 1: I uh, Jack, Colin, have you had your computer?
- 19:16Speaker 5: I got a new one I think two years ago,
- 19:20Speaker 5: but that's my personal computer, and then I've had this
- 19:24Speaker 5: one for I don't know, probably the same amount of time.
- 19:27Speaker 3: I think I got this one after I got my
- 19:29Speaker 3: personal one.
- 19:29Speaker 1: What's the point of having two computers.
- 19:31Speaker 5: I bought my own computer, and then we started getting
- 19:36Speaker 5: paid here, and then I got this one. So this one,
- 19:40Speaker 5: this one came back I think six months afterwards to
- 19:43Speaker 5: we're computer personally?
- 19:44Speaker 1: Did I did I pay for that computer?
- 19:45Speaker 7: No?
- 19:46Speaker 3: I don't think so, Bustin. Yeah, yeah, okay, I mean
- 19:49Speaker 3: I guess in a way, maybe you did. Absolutely may
- 19:54Speaker 3: probably will more than you.
- 19:56Speaker 2: No.
- 19:56Speaker 1: I mean, well, and I get paid the same. I
- 19:59Speaker 1: know every dollar that we spend we don't make. I
- 20:01Speaker 1: don't know it might be for half of that. Yeah,
- 20:04Speaker 1: maybe I'll be paid for half of that computer.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Yeah, are we getting that right here?
- 20:09Speaker 1: Nothing, dude, Yeah, filibustering my own podcast right now, I'm doing.
- 20:13Speaker 1: I'm just trying to have a good time. Should we
- 20:15Speaker 1: hit a twisted question?
- 20:19Speaker 5: We don't technically have one in the reads, but I
- 20:21Speaker 5: think it's so fun.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, absolutely, March fifth, go ahead, Mitch, Oh my god,
- 20:33Speaker 1: you gotta stay ready, dude, listen. Twist the tea. Twist
- 20:36Speaker 1: the tea is a refreshing, hard ied team made with
- 20:38Speaker 1: real brew tea and five percent alcohol, full of flavor
- 20:41Speaker 1: and very refreshing.
- 20:41Speaker 7: Twist.
- 20:42Speaker 1: The tea goes down smooth. There is no carbonation. It
- 20:44Speaker 1: makes it easy to drink all day long. Twist the
- 20:47Speaker 1: Tea feels fun and celebrates extreme fandom on game day.
- 20:50Speaker 1: It is the perfect alcohol slash beverage for game day,
- 20:53Speaker 1: whether your tail getting in a parking lot, watching at
- 20:55Speaker 1: the bar, or watching with your friends at home. Twist
- 20:57Speaker 1: the Tea is there to turn up your game day.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Do us a favor. Keep twisted. Ladies and gentlemen, grab
- 21:02Speaker 1: a refreshing Twisted tea today.
- 21:03Speaker 6: Mitch, all right, this is one that we were kind
- 21:07Speaker 6: of talking about in the office. I don't know if
- 21:09Speaker 6: you were here for it, but it's kind of like
- 21:13Speaker 6: a I don't know how to describe it.
- 21:16Speaker 7: Say so, the question is.
- 21:17Speaker 1: You're doing great so far.
- 21:18Speaker 7: By the way, say your.
- 21:19Speaker 6: Kid gets kidnapped and the only way to get them
- 21:21Speaker 6: back is to kidnap somebody else's kid.
- 21:24Speaker 7: Yes, but you never give the other person's kid back.
- 21:29Speaker 4: Done.
- 21:30Speaker 1: I get my kid back, though, You get your kid back, absolutely,
- 21:33Speaker 1: that is the easiest. Taylor. Do you want your child back?
- 21:37Speaker 4: Yes?
- 21:38Speaker 1: Would you do anything to have your child? I'll ruin
- 21:40Speaker 1: another family's life to preserve mine. Yeah, do another one.
- 21:45Speaker 1: And some of you think I'm a bad guy for
- 21:47Speaker 1: that you guys don't have kids or you hate your kids.
- 21:50Speaker 1: My kids rip other than on my kids, well, other
- 21:52Speaker 1: than when it's a full moon. Would you change that? Jack?
- 21:58Speaker 3: No, I don't even have kids.
- 22:00Speaker 2: No.
- 22:00Speaker 5: If I had a kid, I'm one doing anything in
- 22:03Speaker 5: my power to give my kid back.
- 22:05Speaker 1: But you you have a dog that you love, right, Like,
- 22:08Speaker 1: that's like.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Dealing with a dog. I would I would steal someone
- 22:10Speaker 3: else's doggy my dogs.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Do you steal somebody else's kid? Probably good, that's a
- 22:15Speaker 1: guy with good morals.
- 22:21Speaker 6: Along the same lines, what crime would you commit to? Like,
- 22:25Speaker 6: if you committed this crime, then it could never happen again,
- 22:28Speaker 6: like in all of humanity.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Yeah, that's that's a good one. But you have to
- 22:31Speaker 1: commit the crime yourself. Yes, okay, my first thought is murder.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Wait, so the question is you commit the crime, and it's.
- 22:39Speaker 1: It will never happen again once you commit the crime, like.
- 22:41Speaker 3: For anyone in existence.
- 22:42Speaker 5: You're like, you get to do like one small bad
- 22:45Speaker 5: thing to clear like a bunch of right.
- 22:48Speaker 6: Like, it's like if you like, you tell it, if
- 22:50Speaker 6: you you have to murder somebody and then murder would
- 22:52Speaker 6: never happen again.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Yeah, for everybody, everybody ever, so essentially I fall on
- 22:57Speaker 1: the grenade of whatever the thing is. And this is
- 23:00Speaker 1: the answer because a lot of people are like, oh,
- 23:02Speaker 1: I don't know, because what if I I have to
- 23:04Speaker 1: do this, then think of the worst thing, the worst
- 23:07Speaker 1: crime ever, the thing that affects people the most. I
- 23:09Speaker 1: don't have that answer. That's what I'm doing. That's what
- 23:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna do, and it's gonna I'm gonna look like
- 23:15Speaker 1: a terrible person. But it's kind of like one of
- 23:18Speaker 1: those do you take one person out to save one hundred,
- 23:22Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, the railroad dilemma. Yes, if
- 23:26Speaker 1: I I don't want to say what the crime is,
- 23:29Speaker 1: but we can all use our imagination on what the
- 23:31Speaker 1: worst possible crime is. Right met you thinking about one?
- 23:35Speaker 1: Say it out loud. Say it out loud, Mitch Jack,
- 23:39Speaker 1: say something bad. What worst crime you could possibly think of?
- 23:43Speaker 1: Sex trafficking? I would sex traffic. Don't clip that, don't
- 23:48Speaker 1: clip that, but just listen hear me out, dude. Yes,
- 23:52Speaker 1: it's a horrible thing. And that is the reason why
- 23:55Speaker 1: how many times Super Bowl is a big one. Every
- 23:58Speaker 1: super that's like the biggest time of the year for
- 24:00Speaker 1: sex trafficking. If I commit one sex traffic, just one,
- 24:05Speaker 1: and I know it's terrible because I've ruined that person's life.
- 24:07Speaker 1: I'm now viewed as one of the worst people that's
- 24:09Speaker 1: ever lived in the entire world. It never happens again ever,
- 24:14Speaker 1: So I'm a hero.
- 24:17Speaker 6: But it's like one of those things. Is it known
- 24:20Speaker 6: that it will never happen again? Or is it just
- 24:22Speaker 6: it just like it's not like a said thing like
- 24:24Speaker 6: Taylor committed this crime, therefore it'll never happen again.
- 24:27Speaker 7: It's just one of those things that just never happened.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Right, I just know it never happens again. I never
- 24:31Speaker 1: get the credit for obviously stopping sex trafficking.
- 24:33Speaker 7: So you wouldn't necessarily be a hero. You'd be a hero,
- 24:36Speaker 7: I would know.
- 24:37Speaker 1: But isn't that what it's being a hero is all about? Huh?
- 24:40Speaker 1: If you live for the cheers, you're gonna die by
- 24:42Speaker 1: the booze. For me, If I know I could stop
- 24:45Speaker 1: sex trafficking, and all I have to do is commit it,
- 24:47Speaker 1: which sucks. Right, We've already identified that it sucks really bad.
- 24:50Speaker 1: We hate that. If I commit that, I'm gonna go
- 24:54Speaker 1: to jail and I'll be murdered very quickly. Right, So
- 24:56Speaker 1: my pain and suffering will be out, but it will
- 25:00Speaker 1: never be sex trafficking again. All the kids, all the girls.
- 25:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna save. I might be the best dude ever.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Would you guys change anything? It was a good speech, right.
- 25:09Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a great speech.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Yeah, would you What would you do? Mitch?
- 25:13Speaker 6: I feel like you said super Bowl and what immediately
- 25:16Speaker 6: popped in my head was the like mass shooting that
- 25:20Speaker 6: would m I mean just thinking about.
- 25:22Speaker 1: It, Yeah, you'd have to go mow down some cats.
- 25:24Speaker 7: Huh, that would be terrible.
- 25:25Speaker 6: But like the fact that it's there's it's happening more
- 25:28Speaker 6: than we actually know. So, like, I think that's a
- 25:31Speaker 6: bit ridiculous. So I think that would be something I
- 25:34Speaker 6: would maybe.
- 25:36Speaker 1: But here's a good thing on this bus right now.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Sex trafficking has gone forever, and mass shootings forever. Jack,
- 25:46Speaker 1: what's the final what's the final ring? The final stone?
- 25:49Speaker 3: Umm, I'm gonna ode for the boys? Oh shit, yeah,
- 25:56Speaker 3: no more, no more drug problems.
- 25:59Speaker 1: But I think you're to be committing well, you commit
- 26:02Speaker 1: the crime.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Crime, so you just od I guess.
- 26:06Speaker 5: So, I mean, if it's gonna save the I mean,
- 26:08Speaker 5: it's the biggest epidemic right now in America is the
- 26:10Speaker 5: opioid crisis.
- 26:11Speaker 1: So yeah, yeah, I.
- 26:14Speaker 5: Mean there's a lot of answers you can do. I
- 26:16Speaker 5: just don't feel comfortable saying.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Most of them right right. But I'm glad you guys
- 26:21Speaker 1: said mine. Yeah, I'm glad you guy said mine. Do
- 26:23Speaker 1: you want me to say one for you for me? Yeah?
- 26:28Speaker 1: Do you want to stay one for you? Go ahead,
- 26:31Speaker 1: start with the C is the first word. Second word
- 26:33Speaker 1: is an R.
- 26:36Speaker 7: You know what I'm saying?
- 26:38Speaker 1: Oh my god, what was that back there? I don't
- 26:42Speaker 1: want to say it. I don't want to say I
- 26:44Speaker 1: feel too uncomfortable saying it.
- 26:47Speaker 7: Grape.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Oh as you said C.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Yeah, the first words of C.
- 26:53Speaker 4: Oh.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Yeah, you're not gonna do that.
- 26:58Speaker 3: No, I mean, I just let's I don't want to
- 27:01Speaker 3: even we're not.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Having fun anymore. We're not having fun anymore. What this
- 27:04Speaker 1: podcast is about. We got to have a good time.
- 27:07Speaker 1: So let's just rewind that back. We're not gonna cut it,
- 27:09Speaker 1: but we're gonna pretend like it never existed. Your boy
- 27:12Speaker 1: over here doing what he's doing. You guys said it.
- 27:14Speaker 1: If you didn't hear it, don't rewind it because I
- 27:16Speaker 1: don't want to repeat it matches shooting everybody and Jack
- 27:19Speaker 1: is oh dean. I feel like Jackie got out the easiest.
- 27:22Speaker 3: But I'm also saving probably the most lives.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, I am, you know you are. You
- 27:29Speaker 1: know you're saving the most lives.
- 27:32Speaker 3: And taking illegal drugs unless you're an organ.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, I feel like that's a cop out.
- 27:39Speaker 7: Right.
- 27:40Speaker 3: It's illegal to take drugs that are now prescribed.
- 27:44Speaker 1: But you have to be arrested for it.
- 27:46Speaker 3: You can be arrested and then OD.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Yeah, but you're dead, guy odd, put some cuffs on him,
- 27:52Speaker 1: get some fingerprints.
- 27:56Speaker 3: I'm saving the most lives, so regardless of the biggest
- 28:00Speaker 3: here or not.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Yeah, ok, now, on this bus, we don't condone drugs, right, No, no,
- 28:04Speaker 1: we don't. But stick with me here. If Jack o
- 28:09Speaker 1: DS and no one ever can o D again, we
- 28:14Speaker 1: can all just start taking drugs.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Right, So I'm a hero to Mini Mini.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Well, dude's gonna start smoking some crystal meth and be
- 28:22Speaker 1: like thank you McPherson. That's big, dude.
- 28:27Speaker 3: This question is really.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Not have if you think your answered Jack.
- 28:34Speaker 3: I think we're thinking too deep into this at this point.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right, we we we good. We did a
- 28:39Speaker 1: good job. Of switching up, going back to having a
- 28:41Speaker 1: good time. That's what we wanted. Hit me with an
- 28:44Speaker 1: ad Red real quick, dude, why I rethink about what
- 28:47Speaker 1: I need to talk about next? I should really start writing.
- 28:51Speaker 7: Notes for this show.
- 28:52Speaker 1: All right, ladies and gentlemen, we interrupt this episode even
- 28:54Speaker 1: though we're not interrupting anything. I'm just getting right into
- 28:56Speaker 1: it to talk to you about game Time. You shouldn't
- 28:57Speaker 1: have to worry about buying tickets for your next big event.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Game Time is fast and easy way to buy tickets
- 29:02Speaker 1: for all sports, music, comedy, and theaters theater events near you. Now,
- 29:07Speaker 1: for me personally, I know that the National Predators are
- 29:10Speaker 1: in town for the most of March, and your boy
- 29:12Speaker 1: does love to go to a Preds game. So when
- 29:14Speaker 1: I am ready, when I am ready to dive into
- 29:16Speaker 1: a Predators game, I'm gonna using game Time app last
- 29:19Speaker 1: minute tickets, flash deals, zone deals easy to find and
- 29:22Speaker 1: buy tickets for every kind of event in your area.

- 29:49Speaker 1: tickets in the same section and row for less, game

- 30:23Speaker 3: Yeah, you have. Those ads have been good.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's gonna like the next ad I read
- 30:27Speaker 1: is definitely gonna like fall apart.
- 30:29Speaker 3: That's a tough ad. Yeah, there's a lot of verbiage.
- 30:31Speaker 1: There's a lot of verbiage, and I'm glad you're recognizing that, Jack,
- 30:34Speaker 1: that's just kind of I'm a words of affirmation guy,
- 30:36Speaker 1: that's my love language. And for you to do something
- 30:38Speaker 1: like that at a time like this, after what the
- 30:39Speaker 1: conversation we just went through means quite a bit to me.
- 30:42Speaker 4: Brother.
- 30:44Speaker 1: What's not a little football for a second?
- 30:46Speaker 3: Dude?
- 30:46Speaker 1: Obviously it's like we're in a big dead period about football.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Free agency's coming around the bend. One guy I want
- 30:51Speaker 1: to talk about, specifically, the King, Dereck Henry. Where do
- 30:56Speaker 1: we think Derek Henry is going to go? Because I
- 30:57Speaker 1: have I know there's a lot of places stay in Baltimore,
- 30:59Speaker 1: so take Baltimore out of it. There's two places in
- 31:02Speaker 1: my mind that King Henry needs to go to. But
- 31:04Speaker 1: do you guys want me to go? And then you
- 31:06Speaker 1: guys give me an answer, you want what do you
- 31:08Speaker 1: want to go? First?
- 31:10Speaker 5: I only have one in mind that I think he's
- 31:11Speaker 5: probably the same as yours, and it's Dallas.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Dallas is one of them.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I think, yeah, Buffalo.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Is a good one too, But I think they have
- 31:20Speaker 1: Cook right. Is he a free agent now? Then you
- 31:24Speaker 1: can then then maybe Derek's out on that. That would
- 31:26Speaker 1: be a great thing for him to have. The thing
- 31:28Speaker 1: that Derek is not. His favorite thing to do is zone.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Read like, he doesn't like turning your shoulders away from
- 31:33Speaker 1: the lat of scrimmage. She likes to get downhill. He
- 31:35Speaker 1: likes the outside zone, the duos that doses the inside
- 31:38Speaker 1: zone type stuff. So any kind of RPO is kind
- 31:41Speaker 1: of tough. And I feel like Buffalo utilizing Josh Allen
- 31:44Speaker 1: has more of a difficult time just doing some downhill
- 31:47Speaker 1: run game type stuff under center. Blah blah blah blah.
- 31:51Speaker 1: But yeah, Dallas is one of them for me. First off,
- 31:53Speaker 1: guy lives in Dallas in the off season. He having
- 31:57Speaker 1: to start. Even if you're an Eagles fan, even if
- 31:59Speaker 1: you're a Redskins fan or Commander's fan or a Giants fan,
- 32:03Speaker 1: wearing the star in your head is one of the
- 32:05Speaker 1: coolest things you can do as aoble player. That brand
- 32:08Speaker 1: that Jerry Jones has created is one of the most
- 32:10Speaker 1: incredible things ever. But Tony Pollard, I don't know if
- 32:14Speaker 1: he had a great year or whatever, but getting Dak
- 32:18Speaker 1: Prescott opportunities to just hand the ball off once in
- 32:21Speaker 1: a while and not put so much pressure on him automatically,
- 32:23Speaker 1: he puts that team into the discussion they're always in
- 32:26Speaker 1: Week eight a week nine of the season. Week eight
- 32:28Speaker 1: nine a season, we got dak Is an MVP. We
- 32:30Speaker 1: got Cowboys winning the Super Bowl, this, that and the other.
- 32:33Speaker 1: They have a great football team. I don't think McCarthy's
- 32:35Speaker 1: a guy there. They should have put Mike Rabel there.
- 32:36Speaker 1: But that's a conversation for a different time. If you
- 32:39Speaker 1: bring Derrick Henry to the Dallas Cowboys, you have legit
- 32:43Speaker 1: contenders there. That's what you have on the Dallas Cowboys,
- 32:46Speaker 1: and all it takes is the piece of Dereck Henry.
- 32:48Speaker 1: You have an outstanding offensive line. Tyron Smith is a
- 32:51Speaker 1: free agent, but he's getting older anyway. He's been the
- 32:54Speaker 1: same contract for like fifteen years. It seems like he's
- 32:56Speaker 1: still got a lot of fight left in him. I
- 32:58Speaker 1: believe he'll go somewhere in play. But like we all get,
- 33:01Speaker 1: look at my knee, Look at me, dude. You get
- 33:02Speaker 1: old and you get out of it. Eventually you gonna
- 33:04Speaker 1: find a little younger there. But Zach Martin still kicking,
- 33:07Speaker 1: still crushing it, very strong, great jel, great continuity on
- 33:11Speaker 1: that offensive line. They got weapons on the outside and
- 33:13Speaker 1: a quarterback that regardless of you know, some people's beliefs
- 33:16Speaker 1: can sling the ball like no one's business. So you
- 33:18Speaker 1: put Dereck Henry on there, dude, you gotta have him
- 33:21Speaker 1: on there. If he goes there. I'm telling you, the
- 33:23Speaker 1: Cowboys are making a big run at the playoffs in
- 33:26Speaker 1: the NFC the next place. And this is me just
- 33:29Speaker 1: thinking from the roots that I've been a fan of
- 33:32Speaker 1: for a while. You see the shirt I'm wearing, twenty
- 33:33Speaker 1: twenty four Champs. These aren't even available at the shop,
- 33:35Speaker 1: but we should do a day this week. You know
- 33:38Speaker 1: what We're gonna do that this week. Wait for my
- 33:41Speaker 1: tweet at Taylor l One seventy seven. These these shirts
- 33:46Speaker 1: and the Michigan Championship clothing will be on sale for
- 33:51Speaker 1: one hour that stored at barstool sports dot com slash
- 33:54Speaker 1: Bustle with the Boys. That's where it's gonna be already, right.
- 33:59Speaker 6: Sure, they went right after they won, and.
- 34:03Speaker 1: They won, we went live. Then we took them down
- 34:05Speaker 1: and not get c ind And then we put them
- 34:06Speaker 1: up for an hour and took them back down and
- 34:07Speaker 1: we didn't get c indeed. So I'll double check on that.
- 34:10Speaker 1: If we're not c indeed right now, I'm gonna put
- 34:12Speaker 1: these things out here at some point during the week
- 34:13Speaker 1: for one hour, So keep a close watch on that
- 34:16Speaker 1: if you're a Michigan fan. But that brings me in
- 34:18Speaker 1: everything I'm about to say. The Los Angeles Chargers would
- 34:22Speaker 1: be an incredible place for Derrick Henry to go. Who's
- 34:25Speaker 1: a new head coach, one of the Goats.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Horrorball?
- 34:29Speaker 1: What does he love to do? When they played Penn
- 34:32Speaker 1: State in the second half, mitcheld knows, because you're a
- 34:35Speaker 1: Penn State fan how many times they run the ball
- 34:38Speaker 1: thirty times in a row. They did not register one
- 34:42Speaker 1: pass in that game. We know there was a PI
- 34:44Speaker 1: type of situation. We're not even to get into that.
- 34:47Speaker 1: They love to run the ball, They love to impose
- 34:49Speaker 1: their will. The Chargers. You think of them, You think
- 34:52Speaker 1: of Justin Herbert, you think of Keenan Allen, who we've
- 34:53Speaker 1: already brought up once in this podcast on accident, and
- 34:56Speaker 1: a bunch of the weapons they have, Mike Wallace, they
- 34:59Speaker 1: want to throw the they want to be a high
- 35:01Speaker 1: flying offense. What did I mess it up?
- 35:03Speaker 7: Williams?
- 35:04Speaker 1: Fuck dude, Mike Williams, excuse me, be there next season.
- 35:08Speaker 1: That's okay, It doesn't change anything. About to say. They
- 35:11Speaker 1: have been a team that throws the ball forty five
- 35:14Speaker 1: fifty times a game and they hardly run the ball.
- 35:16Speaker 1: They use Austin Eckler in a very good way. Obviously,
- 35:19Speaker 1: he's a He's a back that can get out in
- 35:21Speaker 1: open space and catch the ball. Very different from Derrick Henry.
- 35:24Speaker 1: He's a free agent this year. If you put Derek
- 35:27Speaker 1: on that team with a left tackle that had I
- 35:30Speaker 1: leave a bicep tear, but he's coming back with made
- 35:33Speaker 1: a Pro Bowl in his rookie year, absolute stud offensive
- 35:36Speaker 1: line that's gotten better and better each year. You put
- 35:39Speaker 1: him there and you allow to take some of that
- 35:41Speaker 1: pressure off Justin Herbert, which we already know he's a
- 35:43Speaker 1: generational type of talent. People love Justin Herbert. I haven't
- 35:46Speaker 1: watched enough of his games to go play my flag
- 35:48Speaker 1: on the ground and say this is the guy blah
- 35:49Speaker 1: blah blah blah, but I know he's he's an absolute stud.
- 35:52Speaker 1: I think he got a massive contract too, right boom.
- 35:55Speaker 1: So that does everything you need to know right now.
- 35:57Speaker 1: You put Dereck Henry on that team was with hardball
- 36:00Speaker 1: to get with Herb that strength coach, he gets to
- 36:02Speaker 1: have Jesse minter as the DC to get that defense
- 36:05Speaker 1: with all the stars on there to go up. We're
- 36:07Speaker 1: talking about possible contenders in the year one. That's if
- 36:10Speaker 1: the boys buy into Harball's unique personality. That's what I think.
- 36:14Speaker 1: I think if you're able to get Harball to die,
- 36:17Speaker 1: if you're able to believe in Harball and buy in
- 36:20Speaker 1: the way the kids bought in at the University of
- 36:21Speaker 1: Michigan and put your pride and said it's the side,
- 36:23Speaker 1: and know, yeah, we're gonna do some cheesy shit sometimes
- 36:26Speaker 1: they who's got it better than not? That's not cheesy
- 36:27Speaker 1: at all, but these very unique kind of isms that
- 36:31Speaker 1: Harball has. If you can get past that and kind
- 36:33Speaker 1: of just buy into his winning culture, Chargers, you guys
- 36:36Speaker 1: could legit win it all. I'm a fan this year.
- 36:39Speaker 1: I'm going to be a fan of the Chargers this
- 36:41Speaker 1: year as well. Obviously I'll always be a Titans fan.
- 36:44Speaker 1: I'll be a fan of the Charges this year too.
- 36:46Speaker 1: It's another team that I'm picking. What do to think
- 36:48Speaker 1: about that?
- 36:50Speaker 3: Yeah? I like Dallas.
- 36:52Speaker 5: I think Dallas would be my favorite landing spot for Derek.
- 36:57Speaker 5: I think he could utilized their office. Tony Poller, So
- 37:00Speaker 5: I think on his way out there.
- 37:03Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't know.
- 37:04Speaker 3: It's gonna be sad regardless. As a Titans fan.
- 37:06Speaker 5: I know, bro, I'm excited to see exactly where it
- 37:08Speaker 5: goes and the longevity of it, Like does he go
- 37:12Speaker 5: one more year somewhere and then hang him up?
- 37:14Speaker 3: Or is he in this for like another three season?
- 37:16Speaker 3: Side thing?
- 37:17Speaker 1: And he saw the way he was talking, he saw
- 37:21Speaker 1: the way he was talking on the bus.
- 37:22Speaker 5: I mean for him to go ten plus years? Was
- 37:25Speaker 5: he on year nine right now?
- 37:28Speaker 3: Can he just finished year eight?
- 37:29Speaker 1: Yes, he's going to your nine.
- 37:30Speaker 5: Going to your nine if you make a decade is
- 37:32Speaker 5: one of the you know, staple running backs in the NFL.
- 37:34Speaker 3: It's just it's insane.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Already a first ballot Hall of Famer. Yeah, absolutely, Now
- 37:40Speaker 1: you obviously we haven't talked about the Titans at all.
- 37:43Speaker 1: The chances of Derek going to the Titans is very small,
- 37:46Speaker 1: like minute, but we've said it on his podcast. Dude,
- 37:51Speaker 1: he's like six hundred yards away or something like that,
- 37:54Speaker 1: a very achievable goal away for beating Eddie George's rushes
- 37:58Speaker 1: with like one hundred less care already, what's that? He
- 38:04Speaker 1: is more than a hundred less carrious he's got. I
- 38:07Speaker 1: mean I think he's got. He's got a hundred total
- 38:09Speaker 1: touchdowns with his five touchdown passes and his three receiving touchdowns.
- 38:13Speaker 1: But he has a chance to break and he's already
- 38:16Speaker 1: the best running back in Titans Oilers franchise history. I
- 38:19Speaker 1: said Oilers, Yes, I did history. But if he stays
- 38:22Speaker 1: for one more year, it's truly cemented. There's no going back,
- 38:25Speaker 1: no take back. Sea's on Derrick Henry. That's the kind
- 38:27Speaker 1: of cat we're talking about here, and that to me
- 38:30Speaker 1: is cool because I think legacy is a very cool thing.
- 38:33Speaker 1: And obviously Derek, regardless of what he does and where
- 38:35Speaker 1: he goes, he's gonna have the same kind of treatment
- 38:37Speaker 1: at a George has when he come when he's obviously
- 38:39Speaker 1: he lives in Nashville, but when he goes back to
- 38:41Speaker 1: the stadium, it's like one of the all time greats.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Derrick Henry is one of the all time greats, regardless
- 38:45Speaker 1: of how much longer he plays, in who he plays four.
- 38:47Speaker 1: But I just personally, and this is not if you're
- 38:50Speaker 1: a young football player trying to learn the ins and
- 38:52Speaker 1: outs of football, do not think like me, because I
- 38:55Speaker 1: am an extremely and I say this as a it's
- 38:58Speaker 1: a bad quality. I'm an extremely loyal cat to the franchise,
- 39:02Speaker 1: like to the Titans. Like even if I could play football,
- 39:05Speaker 1: which I cannot, I would have been like, I only
- 39:08Speaker 1: want to play for the Titans. You put on one
- 39:10Speaker 1: uniform for so long, you buy into something for so long.
- 39:12Speaker 1: I just wanted to be a part of that. So
- 39:14Speaker 1: going somewhere else, although the idea is cool, Like, I mean,
- 39:17Speaker 1: Jersey Jerr would always bring up, hey, go to the Steelers,
- 39:19Speaker 1: go to the Steelers, Like, yeah, that would be sick
- 39:22Speaker 1: to play for the Steelers. It'd be sick to play
- 39:24Speaker 1: for Kansas City, It'd be sick to play for all
- 39:26Speaker 1: these other teams. But something about the boys in the
- 39:29Speaker 1: two tone blue man, the guys, the underdogs, the constant
- 39:33Speaker 1: underdogs of the NFL. That's where I belong. That's where
- 39:36Speaker 1: I belong. Derek, he belongs to the highest bidder. That's
- 39:40Speaker 1: what I mean. That's what he means. Yeah, I just
- 39:45Speaker 1: don't sickening, dude, that would be sickening for Titans fans.
- 39:49Speaker 5: I mean, Stephen Nair did it, so, I mean really, yeah,
- 39:53Speaker 5: it's it's very much a normal thing for Titans players.
- 39:56Speaker 5: To follow the Ravens.
- 39:58Speaker 6: It's weird seeing him in like those all black unis.
- 40:02Speaker 6: I think it would be so hard.
- 40:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll go home with the dark basing and everything too.
- 40:07Speaker 1: They have dope ass uniforms. They have, They have dope uniforms.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Baltimore would just suck to living.
- 40:13Speaker 4: Man.
- 40:14Speaker 1: I don't even know shit about Baltimore, but the times
- 40:15Speaker 1: that I played there, driving through and it's like never
- 40:18Speaker 1: a good area around the stadium in any place you play,
- 40:21Speaker 1: but like, damn, I'll drive through that. I was like,
- 40:24Speaker 1: give me a crap cake and get me out of here. Man,
- 40:26Speaker 1: That's kind of what I want to do when I'm
- 40:27Speaker 1: when I'm in Baltimore.
- 40:28Speaker 5: I remember when I went up for that second round
- 40:31Speaker 5: playoff game when you guys beat the ship out of him,
- 40:34Speaker 5: appreciate that. I was walking on Titan Jersey and I
- 40:37Speaker 5: remember a cop stopped me and was like, hey, man,
- 40:39Speaker 5: like welcome.
- 40:40Speaker 3: I hope you guys are fine. He's like, whatever you
- 40:42Speaker 3: do all day, goes, do not cross those railroad tracks.
- 40:45Speaker 3: He goes, don't do it.
- 40:46Speaker 5: He goes, there's a really big chance if you do that,
- 40:49Speaker 5: you're not coming back.
- 40:50Speaker 3: And I was like, no.
- 40:51Speaker 5: Shit, I was like, all right, appreciate the heads up,
- 40:54Speaker 5: but yeah, the bank is like smack dab in the
- 40:57Speaker 5: middle of bad project areas.
- 41:00Speaker 1: Which kind of ads that right, kind of adds to
- 41:04Speaker 1: that cool shit. Yeah, because the Ravens do have that
- 41:07Speaker 1: type of attitude. Like I know people hate the Ravens
- 41:09Speaker 1: in Nashville, Tennessee. I don't hate him like that. I
- 41:12Speaker 1: just think I don't want to live in Baltimore. But
- 41:14Speaker 1: I think like Lamar Jackson cool, Like, uh, who is
- 41:18Speaker 1: a Humphries Marlon Humphries. He seems like a cool guy.
- 41:22Speaker 1: They just see OBJ who I think is a free agent,
- 41:25Speaker 1: but like they just seem like they have a cool squad.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Squad Ronnie Stanley, there's another dude that's on there that
- 41:30Speaker 1: I think is like a cool guy from what I
- 41:32Speaker 1: know about. I've talked to him a few times. But anyway,
- 41:36Speaker 1: I think it'd be cool to.
- 41:37Speaker 7: Watch Justin Fields is gonna end up.
- 41:43Speaker 1: Part of me feels like he's gonna stay with it
- 41:45Speaker 1: with the Bears.
- 41:47Speaker 6: You can you can bet on it hashtag DK partner
- 41:51Speaker 6: hashag DK partner. He's like very good odds, like low
- 41:57Speaker 6: odds to go to the Atlanta.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Atlanta would be a good stop for him. I mean,
- 42:03Speaker 1: it's just tough because the guy has all the talent
- 42:06Speaker 1: in the world. He just hasn't been able to put
- 42:07Speaker 1: it together. Now is that coaching, is that development? Is
- 42:09Speaker 1: that work ethic?
- 42:10Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 42:11Speaker 1: The guy seems like he owns the locker room when
- 42:13Speaker 1: it comes to all the boys. The way his teammates
- 42:15Speaker 1: talk about him. I have a hard time with Ohio
- 42:18Speaker 1: State quarterbacks. We've only seen one guy with one year
- 42:20Speaker 1: of experience that's really shown that they can get it done,
- 42:23Speaker 1: and that's c J. Stroud.
- 42:24Speaker 6: I think Justin can do it. He just the Bears
- 42:26Speaker 6: organization has they've been abysmal historically been a shitty organization. Yeah, historically,
- 42:33Speaker 6: well since like the Safeties, but they just they haven't
- 42:39Speaker 6: If you look at their quarterbacks the past twenty thirty years,
- 42:42Speaker 6: like there there's nobody that really sticks out.
- 42:44Speaker 7: I mean they went to the Super Bowl with Rex Grossman,
- 42:47Speaker 7: like yeah, he's like he's.
- 42:49Speaker 6: Not really anything crazy, But I think I think the
- 42:52Speaker 6: organization did him wrong.
- 42:54Speaker 1: So you think he should leave. You think they're gonna
- 42:57Speaker 1: take JJ McCarthy in the first overall pay and then
- 43:00Speaker 1: they're gonna edge them.
- 43:01Speaker 6: I think they're gonna take Williams, but I think Justin
- 43:05Speaker 6: Fields should get out.
- 43:07Speaker 1: If the Bears are going to move on from Fields,
- 43:10Speaker 1: they need to trade him before. Obviously everybody already knows that.
- 43:13Speaker 1: But the minute you pick somebody up in the first
- 43:15Speaker 1: overall pick as a quarterback, that quarterback you had before,
- 43:18Speaker 1: his trade value has gone in the dumps because they
- 43:22Speaker 1: know you need to get rid of them. They know
- 43:23Speaker 1: you do, and they'll just sit and wait because I
- 43:25Speaker 1: think he's going to your four. Right, What are we
- 43:29Speaker 1: talking about here?

- 45:09Speaker 1: I don't know if you guys have used that app.
- 45:10Speaker 1: I mean obviously everyone here uses the app, but if
- 45:12Speaker 1: those of you watching, if you haven't used the DraftKings app.
- 45:15Speaker 1: I of all the other apps, and I won't get

- 45:19Speaker 1: go to look into the team you want to bet on.
- 45:21Speaker 1: And I don't know a whole lot about NBA, so
- 45:23Speaker 1: I'll digress on that. But when I was looking up
- 45:26Speaker 1: NFL bets bets getting ready for the Slips and Pick show,
- 45:29Speaker 1: there's like a linking and click when you watch whoever
- 45:32Speaker 1: like the Raiders versus the Chiefs, and you can click
- 45:34Speaker 1: on the Raiders and it would give you a bunch
- 45:36Speaker 1: of information of why the Raiders might win that bet,
- 45:40Speaker 1: and then reasons why they win win that bet. It
- 45:41Speaker 1: was a bunch of It was a slew of information

- 45:46Speaker 1: possibly could. So shout out DraftKings sportsbook hashtag DK partner.
- 45:55Speaker 1: We want to hit a shout out, no free shout out.
- 45:58Speaker 1: Mitchie starts off.
- 46:01Speaker 7: All right.
- 46:01Speaker 6: Last week I shout out hugs with your boys this week,
- 46:06Speaker 6: shout out giving compliments to your boys, just hyping your
- 46:10Speaker 6: boys up. I know sometimes Taylor walks in with his
- 46:14Speaker 6: sunglasses on, like you know last week, I'm like, yeah,
- 46:15Speaker 6: you look like Maverick from Top Gun with them, and
- 46:21Speaker 6: I could just immediately just see your face light up.
- 46:24Speaker 6: I mean, I'm always there for you with the compliments,
- 46:26Speaker 6: but when you receive one from your boys too, like
- 46:29Speaker 6: you're just like Will complimented my shoes one time, like
- 46:32Speaker 6: you know, every time I wear these shoes, and come on,
- 46:35Speaker 6: I know Will, I know Will likes these shoes.
- 46:37Speaker 7: There's there's like just you need to hype your boys
- 46:40Speaker 7: up more.
- 46:41Speaker 6: And I think it's some people, like some guys might
- 46:45Speaker 6: find it weird, Like girls are doing it all the time,
- 46:47Speaker 6: Like you see it on Instagram, Like you see all
- 46:48Speaker 6: the comments on.
- 46:49Speaker 7: Like you're gorgeous whatever. D d Why can't guys do that?
- 46:53Speaker 1: Yeah, why can't guys coming on your Instagram?
- 46:55Speaker 6: So you're normalized dudes hyping up dudes. So shout out
- 46:59Speaker 6: giving compliments to your boys.
- 47:00Speaker 1: That's been a staple bust with the boys for the
- 47:02Speaker 1: longest time. But it's an oldie and it's an oldie
- 47:04Speaker 1: but a goodie, dude. There's always, by the way, it's
- 47:07Speaker 1: an oldie but a goody. Every time you get the
- 47:09Speaker 1: chance to tell your boy they're doing something right, it's
- 47:12Speaker 1: great because it it hits you on the scale of
- 47:15Speaker 1: because we all like to shit in each other too, right.
- 47:16Speaker 1: We just had a five minute deal about SNL and
- 47:19Speaker 1: how it's fun to shit on your boys and it's
- 47:20Speaker 1: not fun to get shited on. But there's a pendulum
- 47:22Speaker 1: swing when you get to give you boys a couple
- 47:24Speaker 1: of compliments too. So when you do get in the
- 47:26Speaker 1: nitty gritty of coming at somebody for going to work
- 47:28Speaker 1: out it on Friday at noon, they know they're your
- 47:33Speaker 1: fucking boy no matter what. And that's the beautiful thing
- 47:35Speaker 1: about it, Dude.
- 47:36Speaker 4: I love that one.
- 47:36Speaker 1: Mitch Jackie, what you got for us? Baby?
- 47:39Speaker 6: Um?
- 47:42Speaker 3: What do I have?
- 47:43Speaker 1: Do you want me to go?
- 47:44Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 47:44Speaker 1: Go ahead, all right, shout out dudes being prepared for
- 47:48Speaker 1: a podcast, dada, And I'm just fucking with you. I
- 47:51Speaker 1: want to shout out. Lucy, listen to this. I've a breaker.
- 47:58Speaker 1: That's a breaker. I got mine. I swimp another one.
- 48:02Speaker 1: The thing I noticed about these Lucy's get better the
- 48:05Speaker 1: old brand, and I use like these are more milligrams,
- 48:08Speaker 1: but I keep these in way longer because the flavor
- 48:12Speaker 1: lasts for such a long time. Yeah, my last ones,
- 48:16Speaker 1: I was going through to Kansas Day and with these ones,
- 48:19Speaker 1: I'll go through one canaday and it's a it's a
- 48:22Speaker 1: tremendous difference as it balances out. This is one more
- 48:24Speaker 1: milig my last brand. But my shout out no free
- 48:27Speaker 1: shadow goes to establishing family traditions. So in October of
- 48:35Speaker 1: this year, I think I mentioned this already, Taylor's grandmother
- 48:37Speaker 1: passed away, and Miss Connie, she was a phenomenal woman.
- 48:41Speaker 1: Irish lady lived on the same plot of land her
- 48:45Speaker 1: entire life. That's not true that she lived down the
- 48:46Speaker 1: road too, but she lived in this house that Taylor
- 48:48Speaker 1: and I when we first met, we bought and we
- 48:50Speaker 1: was like, hey, you just live enjoy your life type
- 48:53Speaker 1: of thing. And when I would go to Canada with her,
- 48:58Speaker 1: I would always go and make time with Connie to
- 49:00Speaker 1: go get some tea and I would sit there. It
- 49:02Speaker 1: would just be me and her, and she'd make me
- 49:03Speaker 1: tea and we would drink it and she would just
- 49:06Speaker 1: I would sit there and just listen and she would
- 49:07Speaker 1: talk and talk and talk and talk, and I didn't
- 49:09Speaker 1: see her a whole lot because obviously I'm traveling a
- 49:11Speaker 1: bunch and I live in the States. But always a
- 49:13Speaker 1: pleasure to be around that woman. So she passes away.
- 49:16Speaker 1: And one thing she always did for tailoring and the
- 49:17Speaker 1: kids was and even when Taylor was a kid was
- 49:20Speaker 1: she would make homemade spaghetti and meatballs and so ever
- 49:24Speaker 1: since then, every Sunday Taylor make it. Like true, it
- 49:28Speaker 1: makes noodles by scratch, like the flour, the egg everything.
- 49:32Speaker 1: She makes meatballs by scratch. She sets up this entire dinner.
- 49:36Speaker 1: They all go out and buy red flowers because it
- 49:40Speaker 1: was Connie's favorite color. And Win is in charge of
- 49:42Speaker 1: setting up the entire table, which she takes the most
- 49:45Speaker 1: amount of pride in to the point where will and
- 49:47Speaker 1: aren't allowed to be in the room, which hipes me
- 49:49Speaker 1: up because that's less work for me to do. Are like,
- 49:51Speaker 1: we're't allowed to be in the room because she's so
- 49:53Speaker 1: excited to show us. And every Sunday we have this
- 49:55Speaker 1: giant meal of just meatballs and pasta or whatever. And uh,
- 50:00Speaker 1: that fires me up because I think about it as
- 50:03Speaker 1: like when I grew up, I can't remember one time,
- 50:06Speaker 1: one time ever sitting with my mom, my dad, and
- 50:08Speaker 1: my brother and having a family meal. Not once. But
- 50:12Speaker 1: I know that my kids when they're older and they
- 50:15Speaker 1: go somewhere, they're gonna miss the meatballs. They're gonna miss this.
- 50:17Speaker 1: And like the small traditions that hey, what are your
- 50:19Speaker 1: parents doing today? Well it's Sunday, you know, they're having
- 50:22Speaker 1: their Italian dinner the two of them right now, or
- 50:25Speaker 1: something like that. Establishing traditions. I feel like it's like
- 50:27Speaker 1: the best, one of the best core values of having
- 50:30Speaker 1: a happy family. So shout out family traditions.
- 50:34Speaker 3: Thank you boys, that was a good one.
- 50:38Speaker 5: I'm gonna shout out finally caving to your friends who's
- 50:42Speaker 5: been convincing.
- 50:42Speaker 3: You to watch a show that you've put off for
- 50:44Speaker 3: a while.
- 50:46Speaker 5: In mind, the specific show is Masters of the Air
- 50:49Speaker 5: if you haven't watched it yet, very very good show
- 50:52Speaker 5: on OH TV.
- 50:53Speaker 3: Have you seen it?
- 50:54Speaker 1: I'm caught up?
- 50:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I last night.
- 50:56Speaker 5: I watched like four episodes in a row, so I
- 51:00Speaker 5: think I got like one more maybe to get fully
- 51:03Speaker 5: caught up. But it takes me a second. Like I
- 51:07Speaker 5: like to stay in my lane of shows and even
- 51:10Speaker 5: like if like a guy you respect. Their opinion on
- 51:12Speaker 5: whether it's movies or TV, tells you to do something.
- 51:15Speaker 5: Part of you just sometimes is not there, you're not
- 51:17Speaker 5: fully invested. So last night I finally took the commit
- 51:21Speaker 5: jumped off and it is a phenomenal show and just
- 51:25Speaker 5: that era of World War Two and just kind of
- 51:27Speaker 5: like how life is so much different and like it
- 51:29Speaker 5: moves a little bit slower when they're just kind of
- 51:31Speaker 5: in their off time. I really appreciate that, kind of
- 51:35Speaker 5: like the charm of that era in the meantime while
- 51:39Speaker 5: they're going to bombing the Nazis. So it's been a
- 51:43Speaker 5: great show and I'm excited to see see where it goes.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Hey, for those who have seen the show, this is
- 51:46Speaker 1: a spoiler alert, But I'm gonna ask you a question,
- 51:49Speaker 1: what part do you want?
- 51:49Speaker 2: Right now?
- 51:50Speaker 5: I'm trying to think what was the last thing I
- 51:56Speaker 5: saw because I kind of dozed off in the last episode.
- 51:59Speaker 3: But I don't want to give away.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Like yeah, yeah.
- 52:05Speaker 5: Because my specific reference is going to be somebody who's
- 52:08Speaker 5: no longer that I.
- 52:09Speaker 1: Yeah, everybody loves yeah, everybody loves this guy.
- 52:13Speaker 5: So I'm not sure exactly where we go there, but
- 52:16Speaker 5: I just want to get caught up. I'm gonna get
- 52:19Speaker 5: fully caught up because I believe there's six episodes out
- 52:21Speaker 5: right now.
- 52:21Speaker 1: Six episodes. The next one comes out March first.
- 52:24Speaker 3: March first, and is do you know how many episodes
- 52:27Speaker 3: there are in the full season.
- 52:28Speaker 1: I don't.
- 52:29Speaker 3: I'm sure there's eight, maybe ten, hopefully ten.
- 52:33Speaker 1: I I'd hope ten, because like, yeah, the show's amazing,
- 52:37Speaker 1: and you guys know, I love I absolutely am obsessed
- 52:40Speaker 1: with aviation and to see these boys in the air
- 52:44Speaker 1: bombs going off, coming back, most of them coming back
- 52:47Speaker 1: actually sometimes holding on a couple, yeah, coming back, and
- 52:52Speaker 1: their planes are like hanging on by a thread and
- 52:54Speaker 1: they're still able to get back home.
- 52:56Speaker 4: Dude.
- 52:58Speaker 1: It is insane, he city because you got these old bombers,
- 53:02Speaker 1: and in the forties and then during World War Two,
- 53:04Speaker 1: it's like six dudes in a plane, two pilots, two gunners,
- 53:08Speaker 1: a navigator and then oh there's two more, one guy
- 53:11Speaker 1: in the bottom with a little gun thing, which that's
- 53:13Speaker 1: gotta be the scariest one.
- 53:14Speaker 5: And in like that first episode that I guess there's
- 53:17Speaker 5: like a breach in it. It's like negative fifty while
- 53:19Speaker 5: they're flying and he's just getting like frostbite.
- 53:21Speaker 3: Yeah in the tank, so Bro and.
- 53:24Speaker 1: All those guys like imagine being like, I never thought
- 53:27Speaker 1: about this, but being the pilot's one thing, but being
- 53:29Speaker 1: the navigator where got bulls are just going off and
- 53:32Speaker 1: you're like, hey, uh Charlie blah blah blah blah, just
- 53:35Speaker 1: went down. You gotta like while we're getting.
- 53:37Speaker 3: Shrapped like two degrees north.
- 53:39Speaker 1: Yes, bro, and you're like, tell us where we're going, Hey, Crosby,
- 53:42Speaker 1: where are we headed? You're like, oh, and he's like
- 53:44Speaker 1: freaking out, like doing his little That's gotta be the
- 53:47Speaker 1: most stressful job.
- 53:48Speaker 3: Because nowadays it's just fully automated, like.
- 53:50Speaker 1: You got two boys in there doing their thing, but.
- 53:52Speaker 5: Then they're a little using like a pro tractor and
- 53:55Speaker 5: like a ruler to just make sure they're on the
- 53:57Speaker 5: right degree of angle.
- 53:58Speaker 1: Yeah, and being a pilot tune when when all that
- 54:01Speaker 1: flax coming in and you're just like, we were just
- 54:04Speaker 1: gonna fly straight straight, just yeah, and it's like one
- 54:08Speaker 1: thing that blows out one part of the thing with
- 54:09Speaker 1: the plane still rolling.
- 54:10Speaker 3: A engines out, Yeah, three engines, we got one, cut.
- 54:14Speaker 1: It off, start threading it. They just say the same
- 54:16Speaker 1: shit every single time. It's like, damn, bro and you're
- 54:18Speaker 1: just on the edge of your seat, like truly like
- 54:20Speaker 1: heart rates at one twenty watching these boys try to
- 54:23Speaker 1: bomb a sight. It's just crazy crazy. So yeah, that's
- 54:27Speaker 1: an outstanding one. Have you seen it, Mitch, bro You
- 54:29Speaker 1: need to jump on that.
- 54:30Speaker 5: I think the strategy of it to school where they're
- 54:32Speaker 5: like they're going for like the ball bearing factories, like
- 54:35Speaker 5: they will like slow the production of all the war machines.
- 54:38Speaker 1: In Germany, the railroad.
- 54:39Speaker 3: It's going for like the army bases.
- 54:41Speaker 5: They're going for the like production sites that are the
- 54:44Speaker 5: reason the armies are thriving.
- 54:46Speaker 3: And I like the strategy aspect of that.
- 54:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I I dude, my heart goes out to you
- 54:52Speaker 1: though with what's his name? Yeah, I know, I mean.
- 54:59Speaker 3: It hurts, dude, and it feels like it's not over.
- 55:02Speaker 3: But I don't know. We're gonna in.
- 55:04Speaker 1: Your head though, it's like it can't be over because
- 55:06Speaker 1: if that's the guy, it's like there would have been
- 55:08Speaker 1: way more of a we we talked about a story
- 55:12Speaker 1: about it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, fu is he the coolest
- 55:16Speaker 1: actor out there right now?
- 55:17Speaker 3: Maybe he's got to be.

- 56:46Speaker 1: When he came into this is in Vegas when we
- 56:48Speaker 1: shot this, When he came into Are Sweet to shoot
- 56:52Speaker 1: this episode, he was on the phone, hangs up, boom.
- 56:54Speaker 1: He's got four or five cats with him. Very diverse group,
- 56:57Speaker 1: by the way, good for him. He sits down, does
- 57:00Speaker 1: the entire podcast. As soon as he's up, he's very polite,
- 57:03Speaker 1: shakes hands, DAPs everybody up. We get a photo and
- 57:05Speaker 1: then he's literally grabs his phone from his assistant and
- 57:07Speaker 1: he's back on the phone. Dude is an absolute grinder.
- 57:10Speaker 1: This guy, he puts out he's all about quantity of content.
- 57:13Speaker 1: He's out there on a daily basis. He's literally there
- 57:15Speaker 1: at the shop on mute doing calls so people can
- 57:18Speaker 1: just see the fact that he's working. Then all of
- 57:19Speaker 1: a sudden he'll unmute it, talk to the chat, get
- 57:21Speaker 1: some questions and that type of thing. You're truly gonna
- 57:24Speaker 1: enjoy it. I really have. Hopefully we get to do
- 57:26Speaker 1: more things with Gary and the past man because it
- 57:28Speaker 1: was a really great time. So please enjoy big hugs,
- 57:31Speaker 1: tiny kisses, and before we start, please, for the love
- 57:34Speaker 1: of God, subscribe on Subscribe to resubscribe, be a friend
- 57:38Speaker 1: and tell a friend about this show. It's the only
- 57:40Speaker 1: reason why we've been able to do all this cool shit.
- 57:42Speaker 1: We appreciate you guys so much. Enjoy this episode.
- 57:45Speaker 4: It seems like we're rolling right. Good to go. Nice man.
- 57:48Speaker 9: To kick it off, I have to say, like you,
- 57:51Speaker 9: you've been a very indirect influence in like the ascendence
- 57:56Speaker 9: of busting just I came upon you. Probably a lot
- 58:00Speaker 9: of your stuff was getting in front of me like
- 58:02Speaker 9: my first or second year in the league. Yeah, but
- 58:05Speaker 9: just to give you those flowers like it is it's
- 58:07Speaker 9: just hard to have you thank you on the podcast.
- 58:09Speaker 2: Thank you for saying that means you know this whole
- 58:11Speaker 2: era now because I was in it early, Like it
- 58:14Speaker 2: feels crazy to have a positive impact on people from
- 58:18Speaker 2: Afar and so I appreciate that makes me feel super nice.
- 58:21Speaker 2: You pumped to be on the show.
- 58:22Speaker 4: By the way.
- 58:22Speaker 1: Yeah, you talk about like, uh, obviously people seeing success.
- 58:26Speaker 1: It's like that, like that kind of dumb chart you
- 58:28Speaker 1: see like a teacher's on a teacher's wall, Whart, it's
- 58:30Speaker 1: an iceberg and the success and everything starts all the
- 58:33Speaker 1: hard work and a lot of your videos you talk
- 58:34Speaker 1: about like from six to seven, how like you started
- 58:38Speaker 1: to get into the content game, not knowing that's really
- 58:39Speaker 1: that's what it is at the time, but the struggle
- 58:42Speaker 1: of doing three hundred and sixty five days before you
- 58:44Speaker 1: get a call to go on a late night show. Yes,
- 58:46Speaker 1: people don't understand, Like your wife's looking at you, your
- 58:48Speaker 1: friends are looking at you. You're like, yo, Gary, what
- 58:50Speaker 1: the hell is he doing?
- 58:51Speaker 2: Man?
- 58:51Speaker 1: Like he's just out here acting crazy.
- 58:53Speaker 2: Especially back then. Yeah, when I told everybody I'm gonna
- 58:56Speaker 2: do this, YouTube was four months old when I started
- 58:57Speaker 2: my show, so like it like, people like what you're
- 59:01Speaker 2: doing now. People are like, oh, podcasts can hit, like
- 59:04Speaker 2: it's known. When I was like I'm doing this, people
- 59:07Speaker 2: thought I lost my mind, Like it can't be overstated. Ye,
- 59:12Speaker 2: Like my brother, excuse me, my best friend Brandon, and
- 59:15Speaker 2: my Dad, because we and my cousin Bobby, the core
- 59:18Speaker 2: four of us who were running the liquor store at
- 59:20Speaker 2: the time. I was the guy. I was buying the wine,
- 59:22Speaker 2: I was selling the wine, I was marketing. I was
- 59:24Speaker 2: on the floor. And now I'm taking all this time
- 59:27Speaker 2: to record in front of a camera and put it
- 59:29Speaker 2: on the internet. That would be like me telling you
- 59:31Speaker 2: right now, listen, the three of us have to go
- 59:34Speaker 2: to Mars set up a lemonade stand and it's gonna work.
- 59:38Speaker 2: It was that far fetched to them, and so yeah,
- 59:43Speaker 2: but for me, my whole life. You know, this may
- 59:47Speaker 2: really resonate with you in a lot of the audience.
- 59:50Speaker 2: I'm almost like reverse Alan Iverson, Like I like the practice.
- 59:55Speaker 2: I like the crap that no one sees. It's a
- 59:58Speaker 2: really important part to me. I enjoy when it's small,
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: like I'm doing Twitch right now, live streaming? Are you
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: doing it right now? Actually doesn't a little something in
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: and out, But like in my office, I'm sitting in
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: my office doing ten hours of meetings and Twitch is
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: running in the background ninety percent on mute, and people
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: are watching it, but not a lot like why would
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: you watch that? It's like almost ASMR for entrepreneurs. I
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: mute a bunch, I do questions, I give away stuff,
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: we hang out, but I watch it. I'm like, Okay,
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: hundreds of people are watching now, but I already know
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: my brain tens of thousands of people are gonna watch
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: me go about my business day in six years, and
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: like that gets me off more than anything. I love
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: the hundred views, not the millions of views I have
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: on social I'm almost like, it's almost why I think
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: I love the Jets so much. The chase to finally
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: get it is more interesting to me than getting it.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: When the Yankees won the World Series, I stopped watching
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: the Yankees, But like the climb, the behind the scenes.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: Layers to everything you just said, because we can go
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: into the Jets thing where it's like when you finally
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: get to the result of your process has been all
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: the way apart of like, is the fulfillment going to
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: be there? Or you're gonna look back and be like, damn,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: the process was truly the best part.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: I already know the process the best part, but you
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: haven't bought it yet.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: I know sitting there, I genuinely look with a green
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: suit on, yeah, signing the piece of paper yeah, you're
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: gonna be like that process was tight, Like.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: I believe that that is at forty eight. I believe
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: that it's I'm very confident telling you that I already know,
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: like to the point where like I almost and I'm
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: gonna say this, this may sound weird to a lot
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: of people. I'm curious if I get some DMS or
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: emails about this from people that have experienced I'm actually
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: so extreme on process over the thing that I sometimes
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: almost get like this weird not depression, but like I like,
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't even I'm gonna try to
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: articulate it because it's what I do, but like I'm
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: almost weirdly scared of how not great that moment might be,
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: almost to let that like I don't know, I'm so
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: into the chase that getting it is like like like
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: I don't it's actually I think it's a little fucked up.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: And I'm working on this. I'm trying to be better
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: at smelling the roses and enjoying. My brother, who's eleven
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: years younger than me, has been very wise on this
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: with me in my whole life, Like we would just
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: do these things. When he was twenty two, we started
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: the company and like a lot of great things have
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: happened over the last fourteen years, and like he kind
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: of he's like bro like like good things would have
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: We sold a piece of our company to Steven Ross
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: WANs the Miami Dolphins. That was like a meaningful event
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: at the time, University Michiu. That's right, big event, like
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: change the course. Mainly, I was very enthralled to do
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: it because I knew it for Aj would be money
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: that really changed his life at that point, being in
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: his young twenties. Like it was a real catalyst, Like
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: it hits the bank account. It looks weird when you've
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: got those kind of dollars in your account and you've
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: been had it. It's and I was like like like
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: I don't know, like I didn't even like, I don't know,
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: like it's very consistent in my life. I just I'm
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: obsessed with the chase. And I think a lot of
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: people listening can resonate other people enjoy the winning it
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: over and over it and it is about the trophies
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: and the success. I like the process, and by the way,
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: I'd like to be a little bit better about smelling
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: the roses and enjoying these big moments. But I just
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: like the game. I like the practice. I like the grind.
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: When you say you work on it, how do you
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: work on it?
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: Meaning how am I working on trying to by talking
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: to myself about it? I think we all do that,
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Like I think everyone has an inner dialogue. We all
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: talk to ourselves about shit. Every one of us right now,
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: us in front of the camera, the crew behind the camera,
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: and definitely everybody who's watching. We know some shit right
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: now that we wish we were doing better, or something
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: that's bothering us. And you know this, we all talk
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: ourselves into a tipping point where we do something about it.
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: I try to get better and better at making fixing
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: it or making it better happen faster than dragging it out.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: That's what I'm working.
- 1:03:59Speaker 9: On, utilize like a resource, like a mentor or a
- 1:04:02Speaker 9: group of guys, or therapist or.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: Ish on all fronts. You know, I think not having
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: a true like my parents in a lot of ways
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: are the only thing close to a mentor. You know,
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: I need to be better at being a little bit
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: more vulnerable with my inner circle. Like I'm like, I've
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: you know, I was trying I was born in the
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: Soviet Union. I came to America, my dad starts working
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: every minute. He was never around because he was trying
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: to provide for the family. My mom was only twenty
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: years older than me. I had a sister who was
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: three years younger, and as long as I can remember,
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: I'm talking like six seven, my mom's like, you're the
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: leader for your sister. And I grew up in the eighties.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: We go outside and play all day, so I actually
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: like actually had to keep an eye on her. And
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: I was like eight and she was five, and we're
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: just in the wild, you know. Back in the day.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: We did it different. Yeah, you know, like crossing the
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: rail I mean we would cross the street cars are
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: like like like kids frogger like you know, like that
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: really like And it was just like ingrained at my
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: mom by my mom, like you take care of her,
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: You take care of her. I naturally had my personality,
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: so I was definitely also like a leader amongst our
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: friends and so like. And then I started being very
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: important in my family's liquor store business as a teenager,
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: and by the time I was twenty two, I was
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: running the business. It's always been on my shoulders and
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: I always felt like I was the guy emotionally and
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: financially for everything that I've ever been a part of,
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: and so you know, I didn't feel like I had
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: permission for the vulnerability. I felt that if I showed cracks,
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: everything would tumble. And so that's the era I grew
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: up in that, you know, and honestly, a lot of
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: it works for me. Ninety five percent of time it
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: works perfect. I like it. I want to take the
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: last shot at the buzzer, like I want to be down.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: I want the Montana versus Bengals moment, like if I
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: was ever a quarterback, please give me super Bowl, last
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: drive of the game, go to win it, like I
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: live for that, right, I live for it, even the
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: pressure I put myself on when I do something like this.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: This is in super Bowl game winning drive. But I
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: walk in subconsciously saying I'd like to say something that
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: really helps someone on the other side. When you say
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: that to me when I first walk in, that's everything,
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: Like why wouldn't you want to have a positive impact
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: on other human beings? It's the best. So I like pressure.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: I like putting it on me, but I I I'm
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: very self soothing meaning this is very left field, so
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: bear with me, audience. There's something weird when I see
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: a cat licking themselves, like, right, I've always been fascinated
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: by I never just why. I'm like, that's weird, like
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: like I was, but I always would take note of it.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: That's yeah, judging him. I'm really in third grade. I
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: always wonder. But I told him not to do the
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: cat thing.
- 1:06:56Speaker 4: He's doing the thing again.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: It's funny. The cat thing is like something a lot
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: of people. Have you ever heard me talk about this
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: maybe once or twice, right, this is not a thing
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: I bring out often, but it's been in my mind.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: There's something I really enjoy of when I most am
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: feeling pressure the most it's not going well, I kind
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: of like going into like the shower and like just
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: like thinking and like it's almost like a action movie
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: or like a superhero cartoon, Like I feel like I
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: can fix myself, you know, like those sci fi things
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: where like the cut off the arm and the arm
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: gets grown back in seen. That's me emotionally, like I
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: get a lot of I have this thing where I'm
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: able to do it right, and I rely on that
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: almost more than anything else. And I'm not sure if
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: I look back at this clip in twenty years and
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: like that was naive. I should have used and I
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: can sense a piece of that right. But you know,
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: it's really hard when you're forty eight and you're this
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: happy and you're not happy. I'm not happy because of
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: my notoriety or financial reasons. I've always been like this,
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: you know, I've always been happy because I keep shit simple.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: I think people complicate life like you can have all
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: the money, all the fame, all the sponsors, and then
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: you guys are having a crushing week right now. It's cruising.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: I love watching you from a far building. But you
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: know this, God forbid if you get a text right
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: now and someone you love is in trouble, like health,
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: like real shit, you don't give a fuck about this.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: And honestly, I think about that every day. Nothing i'm
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: doing professionally matters. I'm completely detached from my success and notoriety.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: I just want the people I love to be healthy
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: and good. I just want to wake up and play
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: my game, which is being an entrepreneur. I always envied.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: I always wanted to be an athlete when I was
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: a kid, Like a lot of guys. But then when
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: I got older, I was like, wait a minute. Athletes
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: go through this such hardcore transition, like the thing you
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: loved and we're best at, you're going to stop in
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: your football late twenties, you're a child. If you're lucky,
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: if it goes phenomenal, all time phenomenal mid thirties, late thirties,
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: you're a child. A thirty seven year old that's watching
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: this right now has no comprehension of how young they
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: still actually are. Society has taught us the wrong shit,
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: Like you're supposed to have life figured out at twenty two.
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: It's ludicrous, Like I don't know. I think so these
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: are the things that run through my mind and like
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: are my emotional framework.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: All right, ladies, gentlemen, we interrupt this episode two bring

- 1:09:55Speaker 1: right five stars by the merch and back to this episode.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: It seems like the best way best therapy as being
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: by yourself with your thoughts.
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: Yes, and I'm my therapist, and there's something really powerful there.
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: That being said, I've gone to therapy. I find it
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: very valuable. I'm pumped people are doing it. I love
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: that people are doing ice bats. I love that people
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: are doing, you know, meditation. I love that people are
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: doing walks and exercise and reading and like, I think,
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: just like anything in life, everybody is watching of the
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: seven to ten things that we all know can make
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: your life better. We all have a mix of the
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: one or two that works best for us. My big
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: thing to myself and to everyone is try them all
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: and see what works for you, like for you know.
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: And so I'm pumped when people sit and set out
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: to meditate and that works for them. I feel like
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: I'm meditating every minute. I feel like I'm meditating right now.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: In the meta of this interview, I'm locked in with
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: y'all and the audience, But there is a part of
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: me in the back of my head right now that's
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: also kind of like zending out and was just like,
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: isn't this great? Be grateful? Like gratitude, I think is
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: a currency that runs heavy through me, and I think
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: it's something I want the world to be thinking about more,
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: because I think we spend way too much time complaining
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: of what we don't have versus spending our energy on
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: being grateful for what we do have.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: You said something during all this about your process and everything,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: talking about the cat and being like I might look
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: back on this in ten, fifteen, ten years and be
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: like I probably should have got about that. Yeah, since
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: you've been in the internet game for so.
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: Long, Yes, look back, Yes, and essentially.
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: Watch film on yourself.
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: Yes, is the way you Approacheduff.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: What are some things you've looked back on in the
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: past where you're like, Okay, I can see where I
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: navigated that incorrectly or not incorrectly, but I see things
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: a little bit differently.
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: Now. This is a great question, and I really need
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: people you should be It's a great question. It was
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: really well done. It was pretty well done. It was
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: very contextual to the moment, a little improv but Macro
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: I thought it was really good. The one the thing
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: that stands out here and I this, I'm excited about
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: answering as well. Things are contextual. So I think a
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: thing that people people up about. This is why cancel
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: culture is so flawed. People trying to rewind shit from
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: twenty nine years ago and yell at people for what
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: is a social norm. Now shit changes. So when I
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: was making videos in two thousand and eight and being like, yo,
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: you gotta go hard at nine pm to midnight, at
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: that point everyone was out of a job, the economy collapsed,
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: and the Internet was exploding, I was right when someone
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: like brings it up now fifteen years later and be like, oh,
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: people were burning out. I'm like, people didn't even know
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: what the fuck burning out was.
- 1:12:34Speaker 7: Then.
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: People weren't worried about burnout. People were worried about fucking
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: paying their bills. So I think a lot of what
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: I look back at, what works for me that I
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: highly talk to a lot of content creators influencers about
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: is like, never say something you don't believe the amount
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: of people that say shit that they don't believe in
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: only with the hope of going viral is a fucking disaster.
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: No million views is worth looking back at it and
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: being like you're an idiot. So the reason I don't
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: have a lot of answers to your question is because
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: everything has ever come out of my mouth. I mean,
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: so I feel good there, But I think what's interesting
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: is to look back at context. I think the things
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: that I think about is I think the middle purple
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: is the game. I think America's gotten way too red
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: and way too blue, and purple is the magic. So
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: when I look at things back, sometimes I didn't create
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: a hedge or a context point to my overall thought.
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: So I'll give you a great one that's happening now.
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: I'll break it fully down since we have a minute.
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: As you two may know, and as some of the
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: people who are watching who have seen my content, I
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: believe in volume of content. I believe it's crazy for
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: you to do this show with me and not put
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: out one hundred and fifty clips from the show. But
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: when I say one hundred and fifty, people take it,
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: and I don't do a good enough job to say
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: not one hundred and fifty On Instagram one hundred and
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: fifty for example, I think twelve YouTube shorts posts from
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: this or important because if you title it properly, YouTube's
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: the second biggest search engine, and somebody might watch a
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: clip from this in three years and discover you guys,
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: because YouTube works differently than TikTok. Then there's TikTok, then
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: there's Facebook. Do you guys post clips on Facebook more?
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: Because it's a supply and demand issue Right now, I'm
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: pretty sure you don't post on Pinterest. It's probably unlikely
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: that you post on LinkedIn. LinkedIn, I would argue, is
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: your biggest opportunity for your audience and how you roll.
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: So when I think but I'll say in a clip,
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: I'll look back and be like post forty times a
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: day and people let people take it as like in
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: their one channel, and they're like that's stupid, or I
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: don't get it, or I can't. Another thing that I've
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: been thinking through, for example, because I've been speaking of
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: volume of content for seven years, is I take for
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: granted that I've made good content. You're making a good show.
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: It has the potential to have seven or twelve or
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: fifteen pieces of content things now more, and I haven't art.
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: I've always thought of it this way, but I didn't
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: articulate it that it is a quality quantity framework. You
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: should post forty times a day over seven different platforms.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: If you have quality posting for the sake of posting
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: is not going to do anything for anyone. So I
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: think about those kind of things, where in the speed
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: that I talk because I get hyper and excited, and
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: the fact that sometimes it's limited, you know, you only
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: have limited time. We're trying to get to a lot
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: of stuff. Sometimes I don't finish out all the sentences
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: or all the context, and that sometimes out of context,
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: I'm like, oh crap, I wish I added two more sentences,
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: because I know the audience took this out of context.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: There was when people were making fun of me of
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: like I was like, imagine your family being dead, and
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: that when super viral and TikTok, I laugh at that
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: because kids will roll up on me in the airport like,
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: imagine your family's dead, and I'm like, I realized that
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: they didn't get the full context of what I was
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: trying to say, which is like, if if you actually did,
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: you could imagine how grateful you'll be. But out of
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: context and the clip or stitch it can seem a
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: little silly. So it's those full thought out things that
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: I leave on the table at times that I would
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: look back on and be like, ah, I wish I
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: haded three more sentences of context because what.
- 1:16:12Speaker 4: Was that quote is like like shoot him in the
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: fuck yeh.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: Or something someone exactly I'm trying to make it. In
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: that talk that that got clipped on, there was just
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: a lot of like complaining, like just complaining and complaining.
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: So by the time I got to the eighteenth question,
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm like, you guys are so entitled imagine
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: horrible things, because horrible things do happen. As we sat
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: here during this podcast, some bad things happen to people
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: that is sad they lost someone they loved, like bad stuff,
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: and like, you know, I think of I don't know
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: how not to think about that, Like there's almost a
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: billion people on Earth that don't have access to clean water?
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: Do you know what insane that is? Like Like I
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: don't know, I don't I don't know how not to
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: I don't know how to unsee that. There is literally
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: seven hundred and eighty million people right now predominant Africa
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: and parts of India and parts of Asia that literally
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: within a twelve hour window can't get to a cup
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: of fresh water. And then I have to listen to
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: DMS about like why don't have a million dollars? Yeah,
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: Like I just don't, Like, do you understand that every
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: human being that's in Las Vegas right this minute, for
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: this week should fucking kiss the ground and be fucking
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: thankful as fuck? They have nothing to complain about in
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: real eight billion people in life. But that's not how
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: life works. You live in your little reality, right and
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: when shit goes awry within your reality, it's annoying because
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: you have it so good and you haven't contextualized the
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: macro perspective of how remarkable. There's no human watching this
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: clip right now that doesn't have it awesome. Yeah, but
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: many think they have it horrible. And especially with the
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: way mainstream media and content creators on social media are talking,
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: everyone's looking at the downside without looking at the upside.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: Ladys Joe, when we interrupt this episode to bring you
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: to Twisted Tea, they say, if it's so nice, why

- 1:18:29Speaker 1: you subscribe to this podcast. Big hugs, tiny kisses. Back
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: to the episode the did you have some Sorry?
- 1:18:35Speaker 9: Yeah, I was just gonna go back to when you
- 1:18:36Speaker 9: were talking about working on being more vulnerable with the
- 1:18:39Speaker 9: people in your circle. Yes, you obviously have a mind
- 1:18:42Speaker 9: for business, like that's what drives you process, like you
- 1:18:44Speaker 9: are obsessed with it.
- 1:18:45Speaker 4: You love it.
- 1:18:46Speaker 9: You have a good piece out there talking about balance,
- 1:18:48Speaker 9: like there is no balance to what you love, like
- 1:18:50Speaker 9: all those sorts of things, but as like you spoke
- 1:18:53Speaker 9: to it too, like being the leader in your household,
- 1:18:55Speaker 9: growing up, being the leader, being the leader of your.
- 1:18:57Speaker 4: Businesses, being the lead leader of your family.
- 1:18:59Speaker 9: You do so well compartmentalizing and self soothing and everything else.
- 1:19:03Speaker 9: How do you like talk about the times you got
- 1:19:06Speaker 9: to check yourself with checking the pulse of the people,
- 1:19:08Speaker 9: like in your family, in your household, to where your
- 1:19:11Speaker 9: drive and your balance might be indirectly affecting them in
- 1:19:15Speaker 9: a way that it just the wall has been broken
- 1:19:17Speaker 9: down to be like, hey, me being vulnerable here actually
- 1:19:20Speaker 9: makes me feel better that I'm actually hearing this from you, Gary,
- 1:19:22Speaker 9: because I didn't know you were actually going through that.
- 1:19:24Speaker 9: And that helps the family grow with you, because there's
- 1:19:27Speaker 9: this bridge that starts to talk with you with your
- 1:19:29Speaker 9: work ethic.
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I think I think it's still a
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: work in progress for me. And I also think people
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: get comfortable in realities, Like there's a lot of like
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: peace of mind that I'm able to bring to the
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: people I love the most by holding it fucking down,
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: you know. And so like people love to say to
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: the alpha, I'd love to have you be more vulnerable
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: and tell us, But then when you go there, it's
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: like fuck and it's shake. Like it's a really fascinating
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: thing that's happening in society. There's this big conversation of
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: like we want our alpha's mom, Graham, my dad, uncle,
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: whoever it is boss to be more vulnerable. The reality
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: is is that there's a lot of insecurity in the
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: world right now, and when the person that is your
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: foundation starts to show cracks, people want to step up
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: for that person, but often they're not the leader because
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: they don't have the capacity to go there. I've flirted
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: with vulnerability with everyone. I've also seen the reactions to it. Yeah,
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: you know, we want more from bosses. Do you know
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: if a boss went on and did an all company meeting,
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: if she or he just said, all right, let me
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: tell you what I'm dealing with, and here's all my
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: pains and struggles and concerns, and we only have a
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: month worth of cash flow. So if we don't get
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: this again, people are scared shitless.
- 1:20:40Speaker 4: Yeah, and so lead.
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: There's a real balance to this game. So I'm trying
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: to find the purple right. A lot of people are
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: talking shit that they want their alphas to go more vulnerable,
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: but they don't if you really pay attention to what
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: people want and so like, this is a conversation that
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: will play out in lot next twenty thirty years. There's
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: been a There's been plenty of razzing and demonization of
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: alpha men over the last twenty years until we're in
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: a war with China. I have a funny feeling that
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: those alpha dudes and everybody likes to raz on, when
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: shit hits the fan, they'll be cheering the fuck out
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: of them, right, So that's just the way the world
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: always worked. People just are very bad at history lessons.
- 1:21:23Speaker 4: I love that answer, and I also love the Gary
- 1:21:25Speaker 4: V smirks that he gives, like yeah.
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: Yeah, when I know he gets that, yeah, sit there
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: and be like that jes Air for a second.
- 1:21:34Speaker 9: The dramatic pause is a go to how about how
- 1:21:37Speaker 9: about imposter syndrome? Is somebody with the new funny word
- 1:21:43Speaker 9: that we've made it imposter syndrome.
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: I'm sorry to interrupt, imposter syndrome. You mean what we
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: used to call insecurity? Yeah?
- 1:21:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: Packaging of insecurity as imposter syndrome has me laughing my
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: ass off, and I'm glad I got to finally address it.
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: I don't I've said it maybe one other place, like, yes,
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: what about insecurity?
- 1:22:01Speaker 9: I was gonna say, I was gonna say in your
- 1:22:03Speaker 9: very like early stages like YouTube, and you're taking your
- 1:22:07Speaker 9: your sick in escape ethics and putting it out there
- 1:22:10Speaker 9: in the status signal and.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: Hitting on girls in high school. Yes, I know what
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: insecurity looks like, but not in business. Okay, every day
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: the day I did that social media if the day
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: I did that first video, in my head driving home,
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: I said to myself, I'm gonna fucking win this. I'm
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: gonna be known. I'm going to be the most important
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: in wine business literally first one, because I knew I
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: was going to grind it. I don't know if I'm
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: going to buy the York Jets. You know, I'm not
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: fully in control, but I know I'm gonna give it
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: a real fucking run. You know, if the Johnson's put
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: it up for sale tomorrow, I'm mount. I just don't
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: have enough money yet. But if they hold on to
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: it in the range that I think they'll hold on
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: to it eighteen twenty sixteen, twenty four years, I'm in
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: the mix. I believe that to be true.
- 1:22:55Speaker 9: So you're saying, your foundation, your cloth was built as
- 1:23:01Speaker 9: this world of social media comments feacing negativity was there,
- 1:23:07Speaker 9: but like as this stuff transpired and transcendent into what
- 1:23:10Speaker 9: is to.
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: What in high school no one's opinion or peer pressure
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: even remotely came to penetrate the way I walked around.
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: I think that's the toughest environment. Yeah, yeah, I didn't
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: know it. This is fun to say as a forty
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: eight year old man in my late twenties mid thirties,
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: when I started being like whoa, I was a weird
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: kid in high school. I was friends with everyone that
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: was based on me not caring that my cool friends
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: were making fun of me for hanging out with my
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: not cool friends. I didn't care. I wasn't willing to
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: compromise on kindness. In the nineties in New Jersey, in
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: high school, there was no way to get to the
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: upper eche line of popularity without being a dick face.
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: You had to make fun of people. It just was
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: the currency. I wasn't willing to go there. And where
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: where'd you learn that? Like, how did you have that?
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: How'd you have that?
- 1:24:03Speaker 4: In high school?
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: My mom?
- 1:24:05Speaker 4: Because it's like everybody deals.
- 1:24:06Speaker 9: With I can't even think of myself being like, damn,
- 1:24:08Speaker 9: you see somebody talk shit about how you played in
- 1:24:10Speaker 9: the game.
- 1:24:10Speaker 4: I'm thinking I'm in my twenties at this point.
- 1:24:12Speaker 9: But in high school, that stuff I'm just trying to
- 1:24:14Speaker 9: imagine somebody that's just uncompromised about.
- 1:24:17Speaker 4: Like you know, I don't.
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: I'm detached from results even though I want them. Meaning
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: when someone says stuff, I'm just first of all, there's
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: a lot to it. Let's break it down. Let's because
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: we're bouncing. People shitting on you in social media should
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: not be met with you being upset for you. It
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: should be met with you being compassionate to them. Do
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: you know how fucking sad a life is that you
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: walk around the internet and make fun of people or
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: try to hurt people because you're in such a bad place.
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: Saying that you guys suck it. This podcast is a
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: little endorsement hit for that person for a nano second
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: to feel better about how bad they feel about themselves.
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: All they're doing is tearing you down. They're just misery
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: loves company you. I swear to God, every single negative
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: post that I see about me or in the comments,
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: I literally my brain fundamentally only says, man, I hope
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: that person's gonna be okay one day, not one thing
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: about me that has nothing to do with me. But
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: there's a key to that. I also don't take in
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: when people give me the flowers. I'm appreciative as fuck.
- 1:25:25Speaker 4: Live for the cheers, the booze type of thing.
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: Bro that shit. If I could, if we could get
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: the kids, fucking forget the kids. Everyone who's watching this
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: every grown up to understand. If you become susceptible to
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: the fucking cheering, you're dead because the booing will kill you.
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: I'm grateful for when people leave goa to emojis.
- 1:25:45Speaker 4: I'm fucking great.
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: I mean, I wish you could see what I felt
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: like with your opening line on the show. It's like,
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: thank you, so it's so nice. But I don't think
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: I'm special because you said it, which means I don't
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: think I'm a piece of shit when you say the return,
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: I know who I am the end, And unless you really, really,
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: really really know me, how the fuck can I even
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: count it? Do? To me? Famous people that are universally
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: adored are straight pieces of shit?
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: Probably a lot.
- 1:26:16Speaker 4: Yeah, you always hear the stories. You never want to
- 1:26:17Speaker 4: meet your heroes, right.
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: It's real.
- 1:26:19Speaker 4: So far it sucks.
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: I mean, like you like currently right this second, universally adored.
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: They're a mess. No they're not. They sure aren't. They
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: do not treat their people well. Everybody that's close to
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: them does not love them. I can go to sleep
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: every night and put my head on a pillow because
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: the more you know me, the more you like me.
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: Those are the results I see.
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: Ghuis and gentlemen, we interrupt this episode to bring you
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: cars dot Com. Cars dot com is the leading digital

- 1:27:01Speaker 1: a daily two. Cars dot com shop over two million

- 1:27:07Speaker 1: next possibility at cars dot com.
- 1:27:09Speaker 7: Where to Next?
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: Probably subscribing to this podcast, Go ahead and get back
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: to those episode. Boys, when you talk about people that really,
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: really really know you, how many people would you say,
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: really truly know.
- 1:27:19Speaker 4: Who Gary V is?
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: Zero? And let me break down where I was going
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: with that.
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: That's a context one. Yeah, that's a podcast.
- 1:27:27Speaker 4: You said that.
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: Hey, we're clipping that just so if you get the
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: context and you'll have you come on again to explain.
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: Zero, I'm obviously going ton of chee because I wanted
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: to make two points. Yeah, So they answer your question
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: on that one the way you actually asked it, probably
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: one hundred. Yeah, like if it's a good number, if
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: I'm going to like where I'm really going, like, would
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: you bet You're like if they went to someone in
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: that So if they went to Brandon Warnekey, my best
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: friend who I've known since fourteen and talked to every
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: day and still runs wine text dot com, Like if
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: they said bet your life on him, he would yea,
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: like one hundred right, seventy to one hundred. I'm very fortunate.
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: Like I always judge leaders of business on the longevity
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: of their team. We took a flight out here a
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: lot of the vainer people We've been in business for
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: fourteen years, seven, ten, twelve people that have been with
- 1:28:23Speaker 2: the company for ten in advertising that has an average
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: of two. Like that feels great. But when I look,
- 1:28:30Speaker 2: I'm like, man, I'm so proud of that. That's only
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: a reflection of how much I actually care about them.
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: So I would say one hundred to the way you
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: asked it. The reason I said zero was I wanted
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: to make a point that I'm curious to ask you
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: to the thing that I'm most fascinated by is that
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: the only person on earth that fully knows you as
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: you because you're the only person that's been there for
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: every single actual thing. Everybody can watch this in YouTube
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: as well. There's certain things that nobody on earth knows
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: about you besides you. I think that's fast, and I've
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: been thinking a lot about it, which is why i
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: wanted to throw out that funny answer. It's interesting, Yeah, you.
- 1:29:05Speaker 9: Say your point, Like Taylor and I we have this
- 1:29:06Speaker 9: saying like nobody's coming to save you. Like you know,
- 1:29:09Speaker 9: if you think about it, you're the only one who
- 1:29:11Speaker 9: lays your head on your pillow and no matter who's
- 1:29:13Speaker 9: next to you, with whatever stresses you have in your mind,
- 1:29:16Speaker 9: and ultimately it is just truly true you and you
- 1:29:19Speaker 9: like that one player game of you knowing yourself.
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: Oh, in such a real way. And my big thing
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: is like, how do I you know? One of the
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: things that drives me is I feel a little bit
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: of guilt of how lucky I got with my DNA,
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: how lucky I got that I was born in a
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: shit country and came to America with nothing and had
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: a really humble beginning. Because I think it's advantage at
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: versity's foundation of success.
- 1:29:39Speaker 4: I believe that.
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: And then, on top of everything else, with those two
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: good things already going for me, fucking the world gave
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: me the best mom of all time, that fucking molded
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: and built me. I feel a level of guilt about it.
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: I believe that gary Vee exists because of that guilt
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: and gratitude. It's a mix of those two. All I
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: do is try to figure out how to do what
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: my mom did for me, Like all I want to
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: do with my content is build true self esteem, not
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: eighth place trophy self esteem, which is actually leading to
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: a lot of insecurity merit self esteem, and a lot
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: of that led to me with me, I like myself.
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: Most people don't, and it shouldn't be like that. Everyone
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: watching should like themselves. They're just focusing on the wrong
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: things right. Parents are beating themselves up every day. They're like,
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: parents are trying, like, of course, you're not gonna be perfect.
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: There's not a soul on earth that becomes a grown
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: up that doesn't have plenty of things to say about
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: their parents. It's the rules. No matter how hard you try,
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: you had you had a unique conversation.
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: I believe it's like a Ted Talk type of situation
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: where you're talking about, like work life balance is almost
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: non existent, but just if you're trying in all phases,
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: you're phenomenal.
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: I think, so what's work life balance? Everyone has their
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: own rules. Like I have friends that think work life
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: balance is nine to five Monday through Friday, okay. Like
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: I have other friends that think it's nine to seven
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: Monday through friting.
- 1:31:03Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: I have other friends that think it's nine to nine
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: Monday through Saturday, okay. Like as long as the people
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: in your circle are cool with it. Like there's all
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: sorts of there's a cost to everything. There's just real
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: life circumstances. Like the big thing that I focus on
- 1:31:18Speaker 2: is when I talk about shit, I'm not trying to
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: tell everyone that I'm right about what I'm talking about.
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: I'm not trying to convince anyone. I'm trying to share
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: observations with the hope that it helps someone. That's a
- 1:31:33Speaker 2: very different framework. I don't think the thing I talk
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: about is applicable to everyone that's insane. I just think
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: that I love observing and have been doing it for
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: a long time. I don't even talk from my framework.
- 1:31:46Speaker 2: Most of the stuff that comes out of my mouth
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: is not just me, It's what I've lived in combination
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: to what I've observed for the last thirty years, because
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: that's what I do for a living. I pay attention
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: for a living. That's why I'm an advertising for Like,
- 1:32:01Speaker 2: I'm interested in the collective, but that will never be
- 1:32:04Speaker 2: the reflection of an individual. Gen Z would be like
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: gen Z, So I'm like, are you a fucking idiot?
- 1:32:11Speaker 2: Do you know me? Gen Z? Kids I know right
- 1:32:13Speaker 2: now are grinding their asses off and have incredible work
- 1:32:16Speaker 2: ethic And do you know many lazy boomers I know
- 1:32:20Speaker 2: to just blanket paint these observations as wild? Are there
- 1:32:24Speaker 2: rationales to why there's general statements? Sure? Are those things
- 1:32:28Speaker 2: sometimes like pretty close time and knows, Sure, like I
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: get it, but like nothing is directly one by one
- 1:32:36Speaker 2: right that goes to one on one you with you
- 1:32:39Speaker 2: only you know, And you have to make yourself happy
- 1:32:43Speaker 2: because you can't make anyone else happy unless you're happy.
- 1:32:46Speaker 2: That's real.
- 1:32:48Speaker 4: I love it.
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: I know we're getting the spinning wheel of death in
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: the back there, so.
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: Oh, come on here overtime.
- 1:32:56Speaker 4: I have another game too that I think would be
- 1:32:58Speaker 4: a lot of fun with. I say nothing. He was
- 1:33:01Speaker 4: talking about you.
- 1:33:03Speaker 9: I was wanting to get into Okay, you have a
- 1:33:06Speaker 9: vater sports media. Yes, you have your agency, Yes, n
- 1:33:10Speaker 9: I l yes, getting into that. Like you obviously represent
- 1:33:13Speaker 9: or your your company represents plenty of NIL correct and
- 1:33:17Speaker 9: pro athletes, and so you're getting into the world of
- 1:33:19Speaker 9: college I just got off the phone this morning with
- 1:33:21Speaker 9: a college coach. It's like, man, you know there's always
- 1:33:24Speaker 9: a new a new thing of like how the NIL
- 1:33:26Speaker 9: is just out of control?
- 1:33:27Speaker 4: He's like, bro, I am telling you.
- 1:33:29Speaker 9: Every player in the end of year meetings sat they
- 1:33:34Speaker 9: gave a number and said, if they don't get that number,
- 1:33:36Speaker 9: the trans world because they all have representation, love it.
- 1:33:38Speaker 4: What is your thought on the NIL world?
- 1:33:40Speaker 2: Love? Here's why not? Because I'm in the NIL business.
- 1:33:44Speaker 2: That's called capitalism. I love all my capitalistic friends. I
- 1:33:48Speaker 2: have a lot of This is the my number. I've
- 1:33:51Speaker 2: got such a funny answer for this. Ready, Yeah, my
- 1:33:53Speaker 2: life because I'm in the business unlimited entrepreneurs, unlimited dinner
- 1:33:58Speaker 2: and drinks with the very well to do individuals who
- 1:34:02Speaker 2: love their universities at our boosters to the universities complaining
- 1:34:05Speaker 2: about nil unlimited. I'm let me get this right. You
- 1:34:10Speaker 2: are a real estate mogul. You add a free, capitalistic
- 1:34:14Speaker 2: American market to make money and you loved it. You
- 1:34:17Speaker 2: have benefited from being able to have the market be
- 1:34:21Speaker 2: an open market. And now you're going to sit here
- 1:34:24Speaker 2: and tell me that you like communism. What do I
- 1:34:27Speaker 2: think about an al I think it's fair. I think
- 1:34:30Speaker 2: the University of Alabama made a fuck load of money
- 1:34:33Speaker 2: over the last twenty years. And do I think that
- 1:34:36Speaker 2: the humans that directly impacted that are entitled to an
- 1:34:40Speaker 2: opportunity to be a piece of the action. I sure do,
- 1:34:44Speaker 2: because I love capitalism. And for every hypocrite that is
- 1:34:49Speaker 2: into entrepreneurship and capitalism and fucking alpha this and winning
- 1:34:54Speaker 2: and competition, you better shut your fucking mouth about NIL
- 1:34:58Speaker 2: because you are a fucking hypocrite. If you don't like oh,
- 1:35:01Speaker 2: you mean you don't like that. You liked it in
- 1:35:03Speaker 2: the past because your college was good and these new
- 1:35:06Speaker 2: rules may reset the deck that I understand. You're a
- 1:35:09Speaker 2: diehard UT fan and you're sad or you're die hard
- 1:35:12Speaker 2: note like, I get it.
- 1:35:13Speaker 4: Nebraska.
- 1:35:14Speaker 2: I get it. I see it. I'm going for some
- 1:35:16Speaker 2: razzy stuff. I'm trying to get some emotions. It worth it,
- 1:35:20Speaker 2: you know, like, yeah, man, I think it's what do
- 1:35:23Speaker 2: I think about it? I think it's fair. I love it,
- 1:35:25Speaker 2: And people that are crying about it, fucking buckle up.
- 1:35:29Speaker 2: I compete.
- 1:35:30Speaker 4: I love the answer.
- 1:35:31Speaker 9: Now, put yourself on the board of looking at the
- 1:35:35Speaker 9: structure compared to like you look at the professional market
- 1:35:38Speaker 9: in the NFL contracts and everything else. The college world
- 1:35:41Speaker 9: is more of just anybody can leave at any point
- 1:35:43Speaker 9: in time. If you're on the if you're sitting on
- 1:35:45Speaker 9: the other end of the table advising that board, what
- 1:35:47Speaker 9: would be your what would be your opinion about it?
- 1:35:49Speaker 2: Let's push for contracts. You know what the best part
- 1:35:53Speaker 2: about merit is you can adjust. Notice how they're notice
- 1:35:58Speaker 2: how they're not running fast to contracts. Why it works
- 1:36:02Speaker 2: for them too.
- 1:36:06Speaker 4: That's a great point.
- 1:36:07Speaker 9: And he get me, gave me so it's almost like, yeah,
- 1:36:12Speaker 9: that sounds like.
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: If you don't like n L, you hate America and
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: you hate capital by the way, by the way, and
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: pretty non debatable.
- 1:36:21Speaker 2: I can't wait for the rebuttal to why not you?
- 1:36:25Speaker 2: It's either merit and capitalism or it's not. Hey bro,
- 1:36:29Speaker 2: that's it's it's binary.
- 1:36:31Speaker 4: Yeah, because I was.
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: Always sat there, I was like, you know, maybe some
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: rules and regulations would be great. Literally, it took this conversation.
- 1:36:38Speaker 9: Because I think myself, I'm like, yeah, they do have
- 1:36:40Speaker 9: to get it figured out, because it.
- 1:36:41Speaker 4: Is kind of.
- 1:36:44Speaker 2: It's the wild West, like every other business on earth.
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: Because you think about as as football players, we look
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: at as.
- 1:36:49Speaker 2: Like, of course we went to school.
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: Of course there was like there's gotta be a sense
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: of loyalty kids, the rest of these kids nowadays.
- 1:36:57Speaker 2: Course all it takes.
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: Is one second answer and you're like, well, funk.
- 1:37:01Speaker 2: Here, let me let me say with a little and
- 1:37:05Speaker 2: me smiling, let me give you something. Let me give
- 1:37:07Speaker 2: you Let me give you a little something on top
- 1:37:09Speaker 2: of it that you guys are gonna like because you've
- 1:37:10Speaker 2: met the ogs. You're doing that, and I get while
- 1:37:13Speaker 2: you're doing that, what about the Hall of Fame offensive
- 1:37:16Speaker 2: lineman who played an entire career and made less money
- 1:37:21Speaker 2: than the seventh offensive lineman of every team in the
- 1:37:24Speaker 2: NFL right now.
- 1:37:25Speaker 4: Which is a great point because we had it, so
- 1:37:27Speaker 4: we head on.
- 1:37:27Speaker 2: Also, the economy is worse than Yeah, you guys should
- 1:37:33Speaker 2: say this run the inflation numbers, y'all did. You're right,
- 1:37:39Speaker 2: we did better.
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: I see what's going on here. Maybe in the house
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: now it's like two hundred and seventy percent last ten
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: years though.
- 1:37:46Speaker 9: Yeah, because what we've said with We've had a Ed
- 1:37:48Speaker 9: McCaffrey on Marshall Falk, we had an older interview with
- 1:37:51Speaker 9: Mike Alstott, and it's like they walk out of the
- 1:37:53Speaker 9: room and you're like, man, we are in our world,
- 1:37:56Speaker 9: in the whole alpha, which, like ye know, we are
- 1:37:58Speaker 9: so much softer than that. What that iteration was based
- 1:38:00Speaker 9: on the things that.
- 1:38:01Speaker 2: And their granddaddy's literally were playing at college football and
- 1:38:05Speaker 2: then an hour later had to go to Germany and die. Like,
- 1:38:10Speaker 2: I don't understand how people don't have history lessons.
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: It's so funny, you say, even when I was playing.
- 1:38:19Speaker 2: History lessons, Gary comes in.
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: The show where you put a camera behind you.
- 1:38:31Speaker 2: Now my team's yelling, but I'm rooting for you guys.
- 1:38:35Speaker 2: Heavy congrats by the way, real flowers. I also love
- 1:38:38Speaker 2: your audience. I read comments for a living the way
- 1:38:42Speaker 2: your audience love y'all. The demo and just the vibe
- 1:38:45Speaker 2: of this whole thing. It's real. God, I'm so glad
- 1:38:47Speaker 2: we did this.
- 1:38:48Speaker 4: Thank you, dude, Thank you so much, all
- 1:38:54Speaker 9: You guys,
