- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice Sugar. Welcome to the Naughty but Nice Show. I'm
- 0:17Speaker 1: rubbed shooter. It is Tuesday, which means only one thing.
- 0:20Speaker 1: A dear friend, Mr Delane Dixon is joining us. Are
- 0:25Speaker 1: I am? Good morning? How are you doing this morning?
- 0:28Speaker 1: Good morning? Big night? Last night The Bachelor? Do you
- 0:33Speaker 1: see Bachelor? What did you think? What did you think
- 0:36Speaker 1: about the conclusion, the news about there's going to be
- 0:39Speaker 1: two bachelorettes and Emmanuel jumping in? What did you think?
- 0:44Speaker 1: It was very intellectual television last night. First of all,
- 0:47Speaker 1: Emmanuel I didn't even need the contestants, just put him
- 0:51Speaker 1: in front of a camera for an hour talking and
- 0:54Speaker 1: I am in heaven. I thought he did a great
- 0:56Speaker 1: job considering he was jumping in. You know, he doesn't
- 0:59Speaker 1: have all this Bachelor history, and he went right there.
- 1:02Speaker 1: He asked those hard questions and we got some great answers.
- 1:07Speaker 1: I thought Michelle was so composed when she talked about,
- 1:10Speaker 1: you know, her heartbreaking, and I just think Matt, I mean,
- 1:14Speaker 1: it was a tough night for him, And of course
- 1:17Speaker 1: I don't think anybody was surprised that they broke up
- 1:19Speaker 1: him and Rachel. Um it's kind of hard, even if
- 1:23Speaker 1: they love each other. It's just difficult. They're young people.
- 1:26Speaker 1: They're going through all the scrutiny. It's hard to survive
- 1:29Speaker 1: a relationship like that. Oh and the silence when Emmanuel
- 1:35Speaker 1: asked Matt if he wanted to say anything, and just
- 1:38Speaker 1: Thatt was just quiet. It was I was uncomfortable. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:43Speaker 1: we've worked on TV shows de Lana and and myself
- 1:46Speaker 1: and we know they hate silence on TV and often
- 1:48Speaker 1: they cut it out, so in post edit they will
- 1:51Speaker 1: cut that out. They didn't. They left it in, and
- 1:54Speaker 1: what was only a couple of seconds felt like a
- 1:56Speaker 1: couple of minutes or even hours. It wasn't comfortable moving
- 1:59Speaker 1: forward that. I think this is really interesting. They have
- 2:01Speaker 1: announced that there's going to be two bachelorette's moving forward.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Michelle Young, who was the runner up on James's season,
- 2:09Speaker 1: twenty seven year old elementary school teacher, just lovely. And
- 2:12Speaker 1: also Katie Thurston that we told you about on this show.
- 2:16Speaker 1: She's going to be a bachelorette too. I think she
- 2:17Speaker 1: came in about eleventh on Matt season and she is
- 2:21Speaker 1: a twenty nine year old bank marketing manager. But we
- 2:24Speaker 1: should point out mistake. They're not the bachelorette at the
- 2:28Speaker 1: same time. They're going to do back to back seasons.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I think this is the first time in the history
- 2:32Speaker 1: of the show we're going to get two Bachelorette's seasons
- 2:35Speaker 1: shows within one year. So I think Katie's up first.
- 2:40Speaker 1: They're actually started shooting now in New Mexico, and Michelle
- 2:43Speaker 1: is going to be up next. So it's not two
- 2:46Speaker 1: Bachelorette's on the same show. I think that's a little confusing.
- 2:49Speaker 1: It's two back to back seasons. Talking to shows, missty
- 2:53Speaker 1: let's jump into our show. Hey, my friend, what time
- 2:55Speaker 1: is It is time Jennifer low Pairs and Alex Roderiguez
- 3:02Speaker 1: have actually made a business decision, I know, a business
- 3:06Speaker 1: decision to stay together. So Jennifer is standing by her
- 3:10Speaker 1: man following following his name being linked to the reality
- 3:14Speaker 1: star Madison Lacroya and all the breakup rumors, sources tell
- 3:18Speaker 1: me the following quote, Jennifer knows everything and has made
- 3:21Speaker 1: a business decision to stay with Alex. Oh that's a
- 3:24Speaker 1: little disappointing, isn't it. You don't get to be the
- 3:27Speaker 1: biggest star in the world without paying close attention to
- 3:30Speaker 1: every detail. Jenny's hands on with her career and her
- 3:33Speaker 1: personal life. She knows the truth and that's all that matters.
- 3:37Speaker 1: And Alex will not be sharing thirsty messages with social
- 3:41Speaker 1: media stars reality stars anytime soon. But they have decided
- 3:47Speaker 1: that they will give this another try. I think their family,
- 3:50Speaker 1: their kids, were very much involved in this decision, but
- 3:53Speaker 1: at the minute, it feels like a business decision to
- 3:56Speaker 1: their friends. What do you think, Ah, that that makes
- 3:58Speaker 1: me sad. I mean, first of all, they've been together
- 4:01Speaker 1: for four years, and even if the relationship is having problems,
- 4:05Speaker 1: it is hard to end something when you've been together
- 4:07Speaker 1: so long. And I also think what makes it really
- 4:10Speaker 1: difficult is that they've blended their families so much. Their
- 4:14Speaker 1: children have become best of friends. So it wouldn't just
- 4:17Speaker 1: be them ending in the relationship, would be ending the
- 4:20Speaker 1: relationship for their children. So I think that plays a
- 4:22Speaker 1: big role, and yes they do. They went into a
- 4:25Speaker 1: lot of businesses together and Jennifer was like, I'm done.
- 4:29Speaker 1: I found the one I can make business deal. So hopefully,
- 4:33Speaker 1: even if it's a business decision now, hopefully it moves
- 4:36Speaker 1: back into love and they can find their way back
- 4:39Speaker 1: to one another. Because we want it. We want j
- 4:42Speaker 1: Lo to be happy. We really do. We do, jen
- 4:46Speaker 1: we're rooting for you were rooting for your friends. Tell
- 4:49Speaker 1: me the following, so they both know their brands are
- 4:52Speaker 1: actually stronger when they're together. And at this point, like
- 4:55Speaker 1: you said, mistake, their businesses and their families are so
- 4:58Speaker 1: interwined together. It's very, very complicated to break that up.
- 5:03Speaker 1: But make no mistake about it. My sources tell me
- 5:07Speaker 1: Jennifer is the boss, she's the president of the company,
- 5:10Speaker 1: and he knows it, which is why he is rushing
- 5:14Speaker 1: to the Dominican Republic right now to spend time with
- 5:18Speaker 1: the boss, to meet the president, to sit down. And
- 5:21Speaker 1: you know, we've all been in trouble at work misday.
- 5:24Speaker 1: You know, when the boss calls you to their office,
- 5:27Speaker 1: even if it's in the Dominican Republic where she's filming
- 5:29Speaker 1: a movie, you know you're going to be reprimanded, and
- 5:32Speaker 1: you know you're going to be told after. You know
- 5:34Speaker 1: you're going to be given rules what's expected of you
- 5:37Speaker 1: moving forward. Put it like this, he will not be
- 5:40Speaker 1: humiliating Jennifer anymore any anytimes. Not a little bit more
- 5:47Speaker 1: bad news. Jennifer's TV show got canceled today two World
- 5:51Speaker 1: of Dance has been canceled as well. I know a
- 5:54Speaker 1: lot going on with Jennifer. We're really really keeping you
- 5:57Speaker 1: up to speed on on this subject once in for
- 6:00Speaker 1: for our new listeners, Hellollollolo, I used to work for
- 6:03Speaker 1: j Loo for for you many many years as her publicists,
- 6:06Speaker 1: so I really know this story very well, which brings
- 6:08Speaker 1: us to our pole question of the day. Alex has
- 6:11Speaker 1: flew to the Dominican Republic to be with Jennifer where
- 6:15Speaker 1: she's filming a movie. The question, it's a bit of
- 6:18Speaker 1: a cheeky one. Will jen be pleased to see him?
- 6:22Speaker 1: Yes or no? When he walks through the door with
- 6:24Speaker 1: his luggage, gets off the plane, gets in the car,
- 6:27Speaker 1: gets to the hotel, walks in the room, Hello Jennifer.
- 6:30Speaker 1: What will she say? Will she be pleased to see him?
- 6:33Speaker 1: Yes or no? Go vote on our Twitter page at
- 6:36Speaker 1: Naughty Nice rob A facebook page is Naughty Gossip and
- 6:41Speaker 1: to check back tomorrow to hear your results. What are
- 6:44Speaker 1: you working on? Mystery? Well, Sharon Osborne is denying that
- 6:48Speaker 1: she called Holly Robinson pete ghetto. Now, as you know
- 6:51Speaker 1: how Robinson used to be a co host on The
- 6:54Speaker 1: Talk and she basically came out and said this was
- 6:57Speaker 1: one of the reasons that she was fired. So but
- 7:00Speaker 1: Sharon's got receipts, So she has an email from Holly
- 7:05Speaker 1: after she was fired, and Holly basically said that it
- 7:08Speaker 1: was Julie that was the cause of her getting fired
- 7:12Speaker 1: the former pes So then this is coming back from
- 7:15Speaker 1: two thousand twelve. But it gets more complicated. Leah Ramney,
- 7:20Speaker 1: who used to also be on the show, she says
- 7:23Speaker 1: that she knew that Sharon said that she thought she
- 7:27Speaker 1: and Holly were both ghetto. They weren't funny, they were
- 7:31Speaker 1: awkward and didn't know themselves. But Sharon is trying to
- 7:34Speaker 1: make it clear that she had no power to get
- 7:36Speaker 1: anybody fired. Now that's just part of the story because
- 7:40Speaker 1: right now the Talk, he might have noticed no new
- 7:42Speaker 1: episodes the past day or so because new host Elaine
- 7:46Speaker 1: welter Roth and her hairstyl is have complained to h
- 7:50Speaker 1: R that they are in a racially insensitive and hostile
- 7:54Speaker 1: environment and they launched a complaint. They are in a
- 7:58Speaker 1: racially insensitive and hustile environment, and the complaint launched an investigation. So,
- 8:06Speaker 1: I don't know, it's a little tough over there at
- 8:07Speaker 1: the Talk. What are you thinking wrong lots going on.
- 8:10Speaker 1: First of all, who keeps emails from two thousand and twelve?
- 8:13Speaker 1: I go, I lose emails like within days. If I
- 8:15Speaker 1: try to find an email, Delane that you sent me yesterday,
- 8:17Speaker 1: I'd have to search for it. So good my received.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Do you really do keep up? Yes? You do. That's amazing.
- 8:23Speaker 1: I'm so disorganized. So Sharon's got the receipts about this.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Although it does appear that the accusations are lining up,
- 8:31Speaker 1: it does appear that they're they're coming forward now. I
- 8:33Speaker 1: think more are going to come forward to We know
- 8:35Speaker 1: people that have worked on that show. I've been a
- 8:37Speaker 1: guest on that show many many times, and it actually
- 8:39Speaker 1: was a lovely place to go to. You know, the
- 8:41Speaker 1: minute you walk in a studio, if it's a if
- 8:44Speaker 1: it's a good environment or a bad one. I always
- 8:46Speaker 1: got good vibes from that place. But it seems like
- 8:48Speaker 1: everything now is blowing up. Let me ask you a question,
- 8:51Speaker 1: though mister didn't a layin the new co host once
- 8:54Speaker 1: worked for you. Elene and I knew each other, so
- 8:57Speaker 1: when she was starting her career, she actually sat down
- 8:59Speaker 1: with me and I gave her some advice. So, um,
- 9:02Speaker 1: I guess it was great because she's been doing wonderfully.
- 9:04Speaker 1: She wrote a book, she went on to Project Runway,
- 9:07Speaker 1: so she always had aspirations to move to the highest
- 9:11Speaker 1: level in this career. And he can't get any higher
- 9:13Speaker 1: than co hosting a talk show as we know. Uh,
- 9:17Speaker 1: And she's she's a lovely woman. She's a very nice person.
- 9:21Speaker 1: So I don't think she would at a brand new
- 9:23Speaker 1: job where you're trying to get people to like you,
- 9:26Speaker 1: to go to HR and make a complaint unless you
- 9:28Speaker 1: really truly felt like you were in a dangerous situation.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Did you know when you first met with the years ago,
- 9:34Speaker 1: Misty that she would become this huge sensation? Did you
- 9:37Speaker 1: have a sense and that I know you're so generous,
- 9:39Speaker 1: you mentor so many different young reporters, journalists. Did you
- 9:42Speaker 1: know this one was gonna was going to hit the
- 9:44Speaker 1: big time? You knew there was something about her that
- 9:47Speaker 1: was going to take her to places? Did I know
- 9:50Speaker 1: she was going to go this far? No, then I
- 9:51Speaker 1: would have kept that email. Oh it's so Chigy. Hey,
- 9:57Speaker 1: we'll keep you in the loop of all that. I
- 9:59Speaker 1: love that we have these personal stories, Mistery. I think
- 10:01Speaker 1: that's what makes this podcast different to other ones. We
- 10:04Speaker 1: really do know these people. We've met with them, we've
- 10:06Speaker 1: got the behind the scenes. I love that she was
- 10:09Speaker 1: with you all those years ago. Mr, you're doing just
- 10:11Speaker 1: fine too, my friend. Okay, moving along, Samantha Markle, who's
- 10:16Speaker 1: Megan Markle's half sister, is saying that she thinks the
- 10:19Speaker 1: couple is going to get divorced. Now. I normally tread
- 10:22Speaker 1: very carefully on these topics. We don't really cover Samantha
- 10:26Speaker 1: or the father. It just seems so mean. But the
- 10:29Speaker 1: story is blowing up, so we have to do it.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Samantha spoke to TMC, of course she did, and she
- 10:34Speaker 1: said she thinks the couple are already thinking about Splitsville.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I don't know how she would know that they've not
- 10:41Speaker 1: spoken many many years. She does know, she claims her
- 10:46Speaker 1: sister's personality, and she doesn't think her sister is very honest.
- 10:50Speaker 1: She thinks her sister is very ambitious. But bigger picture, Misty,
- 10:54Speaker 1: I don't really care so much about what Samantha Markle feels.
- 10:58Speaker 1: What must it be like for MEGA to have a
- 11:00Speaker 1: family member, a blood relative, do this. It's just so
- 11:05Speaker 1: weird for me because I can't imagine wishing harm on
- 11:08Speaker 1: my sister. So you know, my sister is married, she
- 11:11Speaker 1: has children, she's beautiful, and I love her life for her,
- 11:16Speaker 1: and I can't be envious of it. You know, I
- 11:18Speaker 1: have to find my own life. So that's that's where
- 11:21Speaker 1: I think it's coming from. It's a sense of jealousy.
- 11:23Speaker 1: And viously, if your sister marries a prince, I can
- 11:26Speaker 1: understand that that's a normal feeling, but to put it
- 11:29Speaker 1: out there like that, it just seems kind of petty.
- 11:33Speaker 1: And do you know a little inside we know somebody
- 11:35Speaker 1: who spoke to Samantha, and Samantha has been saying this
- 11:39Speaker 1: for over a year. That basics, Yeah, so this is
- 11:43Speaker 1: not new. She's been saying this about Megan and Harry
- 11:45Speaker 1: since day one. I mean, she says her sister is
- 11:48Speaker 1: not honest. How much more honest can you get than
- 11:51Speaker 1: sitting down with Oprah and having your man sit next
- 11:54Speaker 1: to you and support everything you just did said? And
- 11:59Speaker 1: I do mean to say, did set I heard I
- 12:03Speaker 1: heard your load of clear. Misty, our friend that you
- 12:05Speaker 1: were talking about too is a producer at a TV show,
- 12:08Speaker 1: and she told Misty and myself that Samantha gets paid
- 12:12Speaker 1: for all these interviews and get this misty. She's she's
- 12:14Speaker 1: put up her rate, so post Oprah, she's doubled her rate.
- 12:17Speaker 1: So to talk to us about the Markle costs about
- 12:20Speaker 1: a thousand dollars. You get a fifteen minute zoom if
- 12:23Speaker 1: you're a reporter. So if you want to interview Samantha,
- 12:25Speaker 1: she doesn't do interviews unless you pay. It's about a
- 12:27Speaker 1: thousand dollars for fifteen minutes. She's doubled it to two
- 12:31Speaker 1: thousand dollars post opera, which even makes the whole situation
- 12:36Speaker 1: just It was was pretty gross to begin with. Now
- 12:40Speaker 1: it's just no words. Michelle Obama is weighing in two
- 12:44Speaker 1: on the Megan Markle interview. Let's remember that Michelle does
- 12:48Speaker 1: know Megan and Harry, and of course she's very close
- 12:50Speaker 1: with Oprah. She said the following, and I think it's
- 12:53Speaker 1: so beautiful. She's seen the interview, She's thought about it,
- 12:56Speaker 1: and she said, I just pray that there is forgiveness. Well,
- 12:59Speaker 1: that's beautiful, and that I know you forget about that,
- 13:02Speaker 1: don't you would get also angry and wrapped up in
- 13:04Speaker 1: the story and the details. I hope this forgiveness to
- 13:09Speaker 1: what's going on. More Bachelor News what's happening to day? Well,
- 13:13Speaker 1: as we know, Chris Harrison was nowhere to be seen
- 13:16Speaker 1: last night on the After the Rose Show, and he's
- 13:18Speaker 1: not coming back for the upcoming seasons of The Bachelorette.
- 13:23Speaker 1: So Caton Bristow and Tasha Adams are going to be
- 13:26Speaker 1: co hosting, So it's gonna be like female peril everywhere.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Caitlin is firing back at the negative comments from people
- 13:33Speaker 1: who are upset that she and Tasha are going to
- 13:36Speaker 1: be replacing Chris Harrison on the next season and we
- 13:39Speaker 1: don't really know how many more seasons, so you know,
- 13:42Speaker 1: Caitlin posted a black and white photo of herself video
- 13:45Speaker 1: of herself and of Adams seemingly celebrating the news. They
- 13:49Speaker 1: were dancing, they were drinking champagne. Hey they got a
- 13:51Speaker 1: new job. Of course you're going to celebrate, and she
- 13:53Speaker 1: captioned it, Let's go girls. So one commenter noted that
- 13:57Speaker 1: they believe the Bachelor ratings are going to be lower
- 14:00Speaker 1: than ever with the two women at the helm. Another
- 14:03Speaker 1: comment who wrote, horrible to celebrate Chris Harrison being involved
- 14:08Speaker 1: in cancel culture. Bachelor Nation is over and so of course,
- 14:13Speaker 1: you know, Caitlin was a little bit upset about this,
- 14:16Speaker 1: a little bit kind of intense. So she said, um,
- 14:18Speaker 1: you know, she resented that people were saying she was
- 14:20Speaker 1: trying to replace Chris Harrison, so she just wrote, truthfully,
- 14:24Speaker 1: we are there to support the new Bachelorette. We aren't
- 14:28Speaker 1: replacing anyone any When you think about it, I mean,
- 14:33Speaker 1: why not have a former bachelotte who's been through the experience.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Chris Harrison has never been through the experience of being
- 14:40Speaker 1: a contestant on the show. So it'll be interesting to
- 14:43Speaker 1: see how they react to the Bachelorette. They can say
- 14:46Speaker 1: I know what you're going through and or however they're feeling.
- 14:50Speaker 1: And again, girl power And I just have to go
- 14:53Speaker 1: back to Emmanuel. I think he said something really interesting
- 14:57Speaker 1: last night. He said, it's not about cancel culture. He
- 15:00Speaker 1: doesn't like cancel culture. I'm not crazy about it either,
- 15:03Speaker 1: to be perfectly honest, but you do have to have accountability.
- 15:08Speaker 1: And I thought that was just so smart. What do
- 15:11Speaker 1: you think, Rob, Yeah, instead of saying canceled culture, a
- 15:14Speaker 1: lot of people say consequence culture. They've got to be
- 15:16Speaker 1: a consequence. If you say and do terrible things, we
- 15:19Speaker 1: can't just pretend you didn't. So there's got to be
- 15:21Speaker 1: some sort of reaction. That's always been the case. When
- 15:23Speaker 1: I was a little boy and I was very naughty,
- 15:25Speaker 1: there certainly was canceled culture in my house, or consequence culture.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Let me tell you, my mother didn't forgive and forget
- 15:31Speaker 1: when I was naughty. She told me of all the time.
- 15:33Speaker 1: I'm glad she did. This one is very interesting. So
- 15:37Speaker 1: it brings up a question, mister. If you get a
- 15:39Speaker 1: new job, you've probably replaced somebody. Whatever your job is,
- 15:42Speaker 1: hosting a TV show, working in an office, should you
- 15:45Speaker 1: celebrate it or should you think about the person you've
- 15:48Speaker 1: just replaced. I have no problem with celebrating. Getting a
- 15:50Speaker 1: job is a great thing, and luckily most of my
- 15:53Speaker 1: jobs it's been the first time that's happening, so I'm
- 15:55Speaker 1: not replacing someone. But in this case, and maybe it's
- 15:59Speaker 1: a little bit more about being a little understated. We
- 16:03Speaker 1: know this is kind of a controversial situation. People love
- 16:06Speaker 1: Chris Harrison, and you know what, he's been with that
- 16:09Speaker 1: show for so long. He has so much history. I
- 16:11Speaker 1: can see where people are going to be upset. But
- 16:14Speaker 1: then you have to look at Dancing with the Stars
- 16:16Speaker 1: right right. They may changes and the ratings went up,
- 16:21Speaker 1: so you never know. Maybe ABC are just evil geniuses
- 16:25Speaker 1: and we're going to see the show go through the roof.
- 16:28Speaker 1: We'll wait and see. Hey, we're not going to go anywhere,
- 16:30Speaker 1: but we are going to take a quick break, Misty,
- 16:32Speaker 1: and we will be right back. Welcome back to the
- 16:38Speaker 1: Naughty but Night, shall I'm sure with our friend Misty. Hey, Misty,
- 16:41Speaker 1: let's get to the polls and thank you dar. Yesterday
- 16:45Speaker 1: our pole was Jennifer Lopez posts a defiant video denying
- 16:49Speaker 1: any breakup reports. Will they ever get married? Will j
- 16:53Speaker 1: Lo and Arod ever get married? Said never? These two
- 16:58Speaker 1: are not getting married. I totally agree. I don't forget
- 17:01Speaker 1: to vote on today's Pot'll go to my Twitter page
- 17:03Speaker 1: and naughty nice Robert on Facebook page is naughty gossip?
- 17:06Speaker 1: Leave a comment there. I'm be sure to check back
- 17:08Speaker 1: tomorrow to hear your results. And now it's time for
- 17:12Speaker 1: and Nicest Day. This is so cute. So celebrity story
- 17:19Speaker 1: times are crashing apps. I know, Okay, I gotta explain
- 17:23Speaker 1: this to you. So so many stars have partnered with
- 17:27Speaker 1: apps to create soothing bedtime meditations and sleep stories to
- 17:32Speaker 1: help blissfully lull you to sleep I hope that lull
- 17:36Speaker 1: all you to sleep. So the app Calm, A spokesperson
- 17:41Speaker 1: said that the tales by Harry Styles and Matthew McConaughey
- 17:45Speaker 1: are to the company's most popular sleep stories to date.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Oh yes, both those voices of British and that hay
- 17:52Speaker 1: now now hey now. But they're not the only stars
- 17:58Speaker 1: getting me into the sleep story game. So Chris Hemsworth, Australian,
- 18:03Speaker 1: has guided meditations on his Fitness maps center as well.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Did he has a mad I'm sorry? Did he have
- 18:11Speaker 1: a meditation? Honor yourself? And Nick Jonas has a bedtime
- 18:16Speaker 1: story perfect swing? I mean, come on, who would you?
- 18:21Speaker 1: Who would you? You got to pick one of them,
- 18:23Speaker 1: I'm going to put Chris Hemsworth for that Australian act. See,
- 18:27Speaker 1: Chris would get me all hot and bothered and I
- 18:29Speaker 1: wouldn't go to sleep. Matthew McConaughey, I think I'd find
- 18:31Speaker 1: the most what's the white word, what's the all right word? Relaxed?
- 18:36Speaker 1: He would make me a bit sleepy Spain moving along.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Great story, mister, thank you. Yeah, naught to day nor
- 18:43Speaker 1: noughty noughty order Hey. The Grammy ratings have crashed to
- 18:45Speaker 1: an all time low. It's the lowest viewership in the
- 18:48Speaker 1: history of the award show. Just seven point nine million
- 18:52Speaker 1: people tuned in. To give you a comparison last year, mistery,
- 18:55Speaker 1: just one year ago they had about seventeen lean tune in,
- 19:01Speaker 1: so they lost about ten million people. What is going on?
- 19:05Speaker 1: Is it the pandemic? Is it the music business has
- 19:07Speaker 1: changed so much? We are not watching or caring about
- 19:10Speaker 1: the Grammys anymore. Let's have a moment of rob You
- 19:14Speaker 1: get a Robb, you get a rubb, you get a Robber.
- 19:17Speaker 1: So people people aren't quiet. They're not quiet. You just
- 19:21Speaker 1: haven't found a topic that interests them yet. So no
- 19:24Speaker 1: matter what your background is, your wealth, your gender, your sexuality,
- 19:27Speaker 1: and your color, once you find a topic that you
- 19:30Speaker 1: have in common with somebody else, you might just make
- 19:33Speaker 1: a brand new friend. Let me give you an example.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Did Misty and I worked at Dereka Remains, this amazing,
- 19:39Speaker 1: amazing independent radio network for over a year and we
- 19:43Speaker 1: met this just darling intern there called Ara Fat. I
- 19:48Speaker 1: really liked Ara Fat, but we had nothing in common Mry,
- 19:50Speaker 1: absolutely nothing. I wasn't going to give up, and I
- 19:54Speaker 1: finally found a subject that we did have in common.
- 19:57Speaker 1: It was Ariana Grande. He loves her, I love her,
- 20:00Speaker 1: and that's all we talked about. We had nothing else
- 20:01Speaker 1: to say to each other. But that started a friendship.
- 20:04Speaker 1: And last night Ara Fact texted me out of the blue.
- 20:07Speaker 1: He gave me his new number. He said, Hey, this
- 20:09Speaker 1: is my new number. I got a new job in Minneapolis,
- 20:13Speaker 1: and I'm so proud and happy. And it was worth
- 20:17Speaker 1: the time. It really was mist because it was tricky.
- 20:19Speaker 1: He didn't speak, he was very quiet, and I couldn't
- 20:22Speaker 1: get a word out of him. But it was worth
- 20:24Speaker 1: my energy to finally find Ariana grand And now are
- 20:29Speaker 1: Facts a friend of mine? Well, I totally agree. It's
- 20:32Speaker 1: so awkward when you meet somebody and you're trying to
- 20:35Speaker 1: make conversation happen and you're just there's silence. There's Matt
- 20:39Speaker 1: James silence, and you finally find that one thing that
- 20:43Speaker 1: you both have in common and you just stay on
- 20:45Speaker 1: that subject matter because you're like, Okay, let's roll with that.
- 20:48Speaker 1: And I think this is even a bigger picture in life.
- 20:51Speaker 1: You know, if we all just took time to find
- 20:54Speaker 1: something that we each had in common with one another
- 20:57Speaker 1: and talked about that the world would be such a
- 21:00Speaker 1: kinder and wonderful place. So this is such a great
- 21:04Speaker 1: message roup. Thanks for sharing it today. Eight men and
- 21:08Speaker 1: congratulations are fat. A lot of people that listen to
