So on Tuesday, the Concier de Mallorca set out its enforcement figures for January to July. So it's got 146 sanctioned files open against a hundred and Four for the whole of 2025. So we're talking about a rise of 40%. so 1546 inspections, proposed penalties of 4.37 million euros across those 146 files, and 2.1 million actually imposed on the 61 resolves so far. So 36 of them are also classed as very serious. Then there's this bit. So you've got Hilian Ganad. The island's tourism counsellor said that the first cases go to the public prosecutor this autumn, not for unlicensed letting, but for disobedience. So since January, the Concier has run a abbreviated legality declaration for the DIA, and it orders the activity to stop without waiting for the sanction file to finish. 60 opened, 54 already resolved. The owner gets 10 days to stop and pull the advert. And the same order goes to the platforms. So the listing comes down whether the owner acts or not. Mr. Deadline and the daily coercive fine starts between 500 and 5,000 euros a day under tourism law changes to the Belaric government brought in this summer. Oldmawa and Era Belaras. Both report that the file can go to the fithela for suspected offence of disobedience. So the exposure that ends up in criminal court does not attach to the letting at all.
