- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, Yeah, what innovative radio feature. We came up with
- 0:04Speaker 1: this years ago. We thought, what if we opened up
- 0:07Speaker 1: the phone lines and let people talk to us.
- 0:09Speaker 2: We have a phone we could give out the number.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Is there a way to put that on the on
- 0:13Speaker 1: the airs? I don't think people to hear it on
- 0:15Speaker 1: their radios.
- 0:15Speaker 3: I don't think I can do that.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Come on, Mario, get on it that But so so
- 0:21Speaker 1: we we Now we gave birth the talk radio. We
- 0:24Speaker 1: really did.
- 0:25Speaker 2: We did questions, comments, criticisms or jokes, anything, anything you want.
- 0:31Speaker 1: If it's a joke, it has to be clean.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Hell, if it's anything, it has to be.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Or have or be or be so have such an
- 0:40Speaker 1: innuendo that that you can get by with it. That's
- 0:44Speaker 1: pretty hard to do, Gina.
- 0:45Speaker 3: Have you watched four seasons yet?
- 0:48Speaker 4: No?
- 0:48Speaker 2: And this is so me. It's absolutely it's Alan Alda,
- 0:52Speaker 2: it's all my things. Have you watched?
- 0:54Speaker 1: Yeah? What's the whole thing? He's actually in it, isn't Heah?
- 0:57Speaker 5: He shows up briefly and it's almost like he's not
- 1:00Speaker 5: actually on the set.
- 1:02Speaker 2: I mean, all is not well, he's not.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Has Parkinson's and he's one hundred and seven.
- 1:08Speaker 2: I Uh, that'll be my mother's day. Activity is that
- 1:14Speaker 2: I will bringe four seasons and Steve Krrh I think
- 1:18Speaker 2: you'll enjoy it. Is Bill hate No, not Bill Hater.
- 1:21Speaker 1: No, it's get them. I think you'll enjoy it.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Let's continue with Yeah, what Tim the tree guy is here?
- 1:31Speaker 6: Tim?
- 1:31Speaker 1: Tim, First of all, let us in the morning, let
- 1:34Speaker 1: us ask you how you're doing after your accident or are.
- 1:37Speaker 6: You actually I just graduated through the chiropractor deal to
- 1:42Speaker 6: only two days a week yesterday.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Okay, that's progress.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Have you gotten back into a tree yet?
- 1:49Speaker 6: Not much?
- 1:50Speaker 7: No?
- 1:50Speaker 6: All right, it's I tried one and it didn't go well.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Okay, all right, Well that's not what you want. That's
- 1:57Speaker 1: not what you wanted to talk about. Go ahead.
- 1:59Speaker 6: And so I wanted to give you a comparison of
- 2:04Speaker 6: how I know, political, but Patriot Trump versus my father.
- 2:11Speaker 6: My father is literally four days younger than Trump. Okay, okay,
- 2:17Speaker 6: he did Captain Bone Spur. My father joined for the
- 2:23Speaker 6: Vietnam on his own. He had to have my grandfather, Yeah,
- 2:27Speaker 6: he chose to, and he had to have my grandfather
- 2:29Speaker 6: sign off on it because he was only seventeen and
- 2:33Speaker 6: he's been in both Iraq wars. And Afghanistan. And you know,
- 2:40Speaker 6: and he's a Republican. I mean, I can't argue with
- 2:43Speaker 6: him on that. That's his deal. Sure, and he kicked
- 2:46Speaker 6: himself for voting voting for Trump the first time, Yeah,
- 2:50Speaker 6: he did the second time.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Well, good on it. What's your dad's name? Yeah, George, George.
- 2:57Speaker 2: It's George the Tree.
- 2:58Speaker 1: George, George the Tree.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Well tell your father thank you from us.
- 3:04Speaker 6: Yes, you betch all right?
- 3:07Speaker 1: Take care of kim Zilla? What kim Zilla? Kim Zilla? Yes?
- 3:15Speaker 1: Are you there, Kim Hey's it going? All right? Fine?
- 3:20Speaker 1: What's up?
- 3:22Speaker 4: One moment?
- 3:25Speaker 1: That's okay, we'll just stop the show.
- 3:26Speaker 4: It's fine, Sorry, my bad, We'll keep going. My name
- 3:31Speaker 4: is Kim Zilla. Kim Actually, I am a chef, so
- 3:35Speaker 4: I do banana breads, the original banana bread. So I
- 3:37Speaker 4: made up this on recipes that I've loved, most of
- 3:41Speaker 4: the all local ingredients. I'm doing a cell this weekend
- 3:45Speaker 4: for Mother's Day.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Wait, wait a minute, Kim Kim, where do you know
- 3:49Speaker 1: that they grow bananas in Utah?
- 3:52Speaker 8: Oh?
- 3:52Speaker 4: I wish I knew where they could grow bananas Utah,
- 3:55Speaker 4: not all vocally?
- 3:57Speaker 1: Okay, all right, so what are you.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Doing by say dairy and everything else is locally sorts.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Okay, all right, you're.

- 4:41Speaker 4: That you're the better.
- 4:42Speaker 1: All right, Thanks, Kim, have a great day, all right, Kelly, Hello, Kelly,
- 4:50Speaker 1: what's up?
- 4:51Speaker 6: Hey?
- 4:52Speaker 9: Hi, Hi guys. Hey Bill, I listened to you yesterday.
- 4:55Speaker 9: So I took my son to Sinners.
- 4:57Speaker 1: How old is your son?
- 5:00Speaker 9: He's old, he's thirties.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Oh okay, yeah, And so what did you think? What
- 5:06Speaker 1: did you think?
- 5:08Speaker 10: Well, I've been told not to give me spoilers, but really.
- 5:11Speaker 9: Bill, what you said was good. It was.
- 5:16Speaker 10: I mean, I wish it would have gone on a
- 5:18Speaker 10: little longer, even though it was a movie, because I
- 5:22Speaker 10: loved after everything happened and then when you you know anyway,
- 5:27Speaker 10: So it's very intense thirty minutes of those damn previews
- 5:31Speaker 10: for other movies, and I'm already so tense because everything
- 5:36Speaker 10: blood and gore and horror. M so it's I would
- 5:41Speaker 10: have never seen the movie had I not listened to.
- 5:43Speaker 9: You and taken your advice. But the acting is so
- 5:45Speaker 9: superb and very creative.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I mean, that's beautifully done, and it's a and it's
- 5:50Speaker 1: a it's a it's a really bold thing to try
- 5:53Speaker 1: and do, and he pulled it off.
- 5:56Speaker 10: I agree, I mean it just the editing everything, Yeah,
- 6:00Speaker 10: it's just seamless. It was beautiful.
- 6:01Speaker 9: So I wanted to tell you that. Also. I do
- 6:04Speaker 9: hate to make calls, so this is a big deal
- 6:06Speaker 9: for me, and I think COVID affected all of us
- 6:09Speaker 9: anti social thing, you know. Sure, but I'm happy to
- 6:14Speaker 9: talk to you guys. I love your show and that

- 6:22Speaker 10: love you too.
- 6:23Speaker 1: That's fine, Gina.

- 7:36Speaker 11: class for them. They're all free lost. If you want
- 7:41Speaker 11: to learn more about what NOMI does, you can go
- 7:44Speaker 11: to Nomi Utah dot org.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Is that n A M I by Yes, okay? N
- 7:51Speaker 1: A M I A n A M I dot org.
- 7:55Speaker 1: All right, Thank you, thanks sir, You're welcome. Thank you. Yeah.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Uh Cheyenne, Cheyenne, Hello up?
- 8:07Speaker 9: Not much.
- 8:09Speaker 12: I just wanted to call. I mean, you guys know
- 8:11Speaker 12: how cool I think it is that I dropt listen
- 8:13Speaker 12: to you guys with my mom, and now I listen
- 8:16Speaker 12: to my to the radio with my phone every day
- 8:18Speaker 12: on my way to work.
- 8:18Speaker 2: What's your son's name?
- 8:21Speaker 3: Link?
- 8:22Speaker 2: Link? Is he listening right now?
- 8:25Speaker 6: No?
- 8:25Speaker 12: I trapped him up and take her already. But he
- 8:28Speaker 12: was listening about forty minutes ago.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Well, you're a good mom.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Now, wait a minute, how old is Link?
- 8:37Speaker 12: He's too, but he still listens along and he kind
- 8:39Speaker 12: of minix. He's learning to talk, so he reacts.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Now, Well, if he learns to talk from listening to us,
- 8:45Speaker 1: there's gonna be big problems.
- 8:46Speaker 5: Yeah, you'll be asking for You'll be asking for a
- 8:50Speaker 5: cigarette soon.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Thanks for calling.
- 8:55Speaker 2: We like to hear that. That's nice.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Thank you, Thanks HL.
- 8:58Speaker 13: Of course, type a good day, Mike.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Yeah, what Mike? What's up?
- 9:05Speaker 8: Good morning?
- 9:05Speaker 1: How's everyone fine? Fine? Mike? Just fine?
- 9:09Speaker 8: Great. You know what really grinds my gears?
- 9:12Speaker 1: What's that, Mike?
- 9:14Speaker 4: Is?
- 9:14Speaker 8: When is when these chowderheads are watering their lawn during
- 9:18Speaker 8: a rain storm.
- 9:19Speaker 2: That's annoying. It must go.
- 9:21Speaker 8: It's it's may for crying out loud. You don't need
- 9:25Speaker 8: the water your lawn, your your weed infested lawn for
- 9:28Speaker 8: five days a week, especially during a rain storm.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I agree, and my neighbor. My neighbor goes out and
- 9:36Speaker 1: mows the lawn like every other day. Really, it's like
- 9:40Speaker 1: an obsection.
- 9:40Speaker 8: That's not good for it either. So I thought maybe
- 9:44Speaker 8: if I put it into the universe, this, this guy
- 9:47Speaker 8: who lives on Main Street in Kysville, will finally get
- 9:50Speaker 8: the point we knocked it off, we hope.
- 9:53Speaker 1: So, yeah, Jeremy leave a strongly leave a strongly worded
- 9:58Speaker 1: note on his door.
- 9:59Speaker 8: So's yeah, he looks like a Jeremy type.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Probably sure, all right, thanks you, Mike.
- 10:05Speaker 3: It's it's way too early, one, way too early to
- 10:07Speaker 3: be water.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Has anybody seen I put out my hummingbird feeder? And
- 10:12Speaker 1: I haven't seen it. Not a one yet, not one?
- 10:14Speaker 5: Okay, I wait for doctor Paul's first hummingbird sighting. Oh
- 10:17Speaker 5: is that the alert because he's a destination apparently.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Hello Yeah, Morgan, Hi Morgan, what are you doing? What's
- 10:25Speaker 1: what do you want to talk to us about?
- 10:27Speaker 13: Morning Lords. I'm calling in today. My wife is going
- 10:31Speaker 13: to be up at the vintage market selling her homemade pottery.
- 10:36Speaker 13: We have a studio that she works out of and
- 10:39Speaker 13: she's gonna be up there. If you haven't been to
- 10:43Speaker 13: the Vintage market, I highly recommend it.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Where is it?
- 10:45Speaker 13: Logan logan? Yeah, it's beautiful and it's a lot of fun.
- 10:52Speaker 13: Her booth is going to be sprigs, ceramics.
- 10:55Speaker 1: What kind of pottery does she do?
- 10:58Speaker 13: It's actually great for Mother's Day coming up because she
- 11:01Speaker 13: makes a lot of pie dishes and beautiful mugs and travel.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Does she have it? Does she have a kiln?
- 11:11Speaker 5: She does? Oh?
- 11:13Speaker 1: Man?
- 11:14Speaker 13: Did what we got last year? Because she's just been
- 11:16Speaker 13: so busy making stuff.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I helped build the kiln many years ago.
- 11:22Speaker 13: That's that's on my list of things to do along
- 11:24Speaker 13: with uh Raku.
- 11:26Speaker 2: All right, all right, so go to the vintage market later.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Kiln plays a part in the Four Seasons.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Just so you know. Okay, I helped build the kiln.
- 11:36Speaker 1: At the birthday Echoles Art Center.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Rachel is here. Hi, Rachel, What Rachel?
- 11:41Speaker 1: What are you doing?
- 11:42Speaker 12: Good morning?
- 11:42Speaker 11: Lord.
- 11:44Speaker 12: I just dropped off my daughter at school because it's
- 11:47Speaker 12: her and it's her birthday. But the reason I was
- 11:50Speaker 12: calling is because I just want to shamelessly plug my
- 11:53Speaker 12: apparel company that is launching on Friday.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Okay, what what sort of stuff are you doing?
- 12:00Speaker 12: So it's Disney's Disney inspired streetwear, is what I'm calling it.
- 12:06Speaker 12: It's called the company's name is park Bound Apparel Coat
- 12:10Speaker 12: And you can follow me on threads or on Instagram
- 12:14Speaker 12: or on TikTok right now and then we are going
- 12:18Speaker 12: to be launching on.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Friday, is it?
- 12:20Speaker 1: I hope it's not so Disney inspired that you're going
- 12:23Speaker 1: to get soon. Say, be careful with.
- 12:24Speaker 4: This, no, I I yes, I am.
- 12:29Speaker 12: I am definitely aware, and I am trying to be
- 12:32Speaker 12: very careful. Although if you venture into that realm, you'll
- 12:35Speaker 12: see a lot of people that aren't very careful.
- 12:38Speaker 3: And they get sued.
- 12:39Speaker 12: But I am trying. Yeah, they do, but I am
- 12:41Speaker 12: trying to be. I am trying to be somewhat careful so.
- 12:45Speaker 10: That that doesn't happen.
- 12:46Speaker 8: So it's all.
- 12:47Speaker 12: Kind of inspired. But my my designs, so.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Do you You don't make it all yourself? Do you?
- 12:55Speaker 9: Oh?
- 12:55Speaker 8: No, I do, So.
- 12:57Speaker 12: I just operate out of my my little apartment and
- 13:01Speaker 12: I have the equipment, so I mean, I get the
- 13:04Speaker 12: shirt blengths, but I do all the designing, I make,
- 13:08Speaker 12: make all the transfers, I have all the equipment.
- 13:11Speaker 5: So yep, I do it myself, all right, all right,
- 13:14Speaker 5: thanks Rachel, thank you, thank you.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Later, let's go to Ben.
- 13:18Speaker 6: Hello, Yeah, what Ben?
- 13:21Speaker 7: Good morning, Good morning, Lords and lady. Morning from you
- 13:24Speaker 7: this morning.
- 13:24Speaker 1: What's up?
- 13:26Speaker 7: Well, I'm calling if Carrie recalled several years ago uh
- 13:30Speaker 7: he death and Jimmy the Geek chose squad today fundraiser
- 13:34Speaker 7: for Boys and Girls Club where jaf and Jimmy uh
- 13:37Speaker 7: Binge watched. I think it was one of.
- 13:39Speaker 14: The Fockers movies years ago.
- 13:41Speaker 7: Yes, well, I'm calling because after school programs need your
- 13:45Speaker 7: help again. You may have just heard that the President's
- 13:50Speaker 7: skinny budget just came out and he's proposed a cut
- 13:53Speaker 7: for what is called the twenty first century Community Learning
- 13:56Speaker 7: Centers for you. Yes, and this is the largest on for.
- 14:00Speaker 14: After school programs in the country, and it effectively funds,
- 14:05Speaker 14: you know, thousands of programs supporting millions of kids. It's
- 14:09Speaker 14: huge in Utah. It supports if kids are in a
- 14:12Speaker 14: school based after school program, this grant probably pays for
- 14:17Speaker 14: a large portion of that programming. And right now in
- 14:20Speaker 14: the state of Utah there really are no investments statewide
- 14:23Speaker 14: in after school and this is one of just three
- 14:27Speaker 14: federal funds that we're able to tap into for after
- 14:29Speaker 14: school programs. So today is actually a national day of
- 14:33Speaker 14: action called the After School for All Challenge, where we
- 14:35Speaker 14: actually have some people that are in DC talking with
- 14:38Speaker 14: Congress people and we're trying to get as many people
- 14:41Speaker 14: to call into Congress as we can to just talk
- 14:44Speaker 14: about these programs, talk about how important these programs are
- 14:47Speaker 14: if you have kids in a program, talk about what
- 14:49Speaker 14: that means to you in enabling you to go to work,
- 14:52Speaker 14: and talking about the huge benefits that kids are getting
- 14:56Speaker 14: from these programs for you personally, but them also talking
- 14:59Speaker 14: about out what do it mean it's his program moving there?
- 15:02Speaker 14: How hard would it be for you to go to work?
- 15:04Speaker 7: And things along those lines.
- 15:06Speaker 2: We just want people to get get in touch with
- 15:08Speaker 2: your representatives.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Correct. Yes, well you know you know Ben, here in
- 15:13Speaker 1: Utah though, we don't need that stuff. We got mutual,
- 15:17Speaker 1: do we? You know, you go to mutual. That's all
- 15:20Speaker 1: that's all you need is just go to mutual, all right? Hek, Ben?
- 15:23Speaker 1: Thank you, I help people. Thanks Ben, thank you so much.
- 15:27Speaker 5: You know, I just want to say, you know that
- 15:29Speaker 5: that meet the Fucker's Marathon that Jeff and Jimmy did,
- 15:32Speaker 5: they're both dead.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Now, I'm not I'm not saying that maybe.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Anything that cross my money, you know, killed them. All right,
- 15:44Speaker 1: You can only do that because Jeff and Jimmy would
- 15:46Speaker 2: Have they would have laughed.
