- 1:08- Here is today's prayer.
- 1:15- Hello and welcome to today's daily prayer.
- 1:20- Today's prayer focus is focusing on
- 1:23- what to do when we're waiting for a
- 1:26- sign,
- 1:26- but God is waiting for our trust.
- 1:31- You know, many of us want God to
- 1:34- give us a flashing
- 1:36- sign or detailed instructions
- 1:38- and
- 1:40- guarantees before we take the first step.
- 1:43- But
- 1:45- the question
- 1:46- starts to arise
- 1:48- of what if he's already shown us enough
- 1:53- for today?
- 1:55- Sometimes we delay obedience while waiting for
- 1:59- certainty.
- 2:01- And the scripture that comes to mind regarding
- 2:04- this is in Psalms thirty two and eight,
- 2:07- where
- 2:08- he says, I will instruct you and teach
- 2:10- you in the way you should go.
- 2:13- I will counsel you with my loving eye
- 2:16- on you.
- 2:18- Now,
- 2:20- you know, it's a fascinating
- 2:22- thing about
- 2:23- trusting God.
- 2:25- Because if you are a kind of the
- 2:27- kind of person that maybe you've had your
- 2:30- heart broken and,
- 2:32- you have issues with trusting people,
- 2:34- trusting God is really gonna be
- 2:37- a a real challenge here.
- 2:40- And yet he tells us that
- 2:43- it's really his good pleasure
- 2:45- to not only lead us and guide us,
- 2:48- but to ensure that
- 2:51- we we have everything
- 2:53- that we need.
- 2:55- And the important part of this is that
- 2:59- trusting God is a demonstration, believe it or
- 3:02- not, of our love for him.
- 3:06- I mean,
- 3:07- as a parent,
- 3:09- every parent wants their children to be able
- 3:12- to trust them. Why? Because it's a demonstration
- 3:16- of love,
- 3:18- of love from the parent to the child
- 3:19- and vice versa.
- 3:22- And so
- 3:24- that being said,
- 3:26- don't be afraid
- 3:29- to just focus on
- 3:31- the task that's facing you
- 3:34- for today.
- 3:36- Have faith to believe
- 3:38- that
- 3:39- whatever it is you set before God,
- 3:42- he will
- 3:43- help you complete it.
- 3:45- But he needs you to trust him
- 3:47- one day at a time.
- 3:50- That being said,
- 3:53- let's pray.
- 3:55- Father God, help us to trust you even
- 3:58- when we don't have all the answers.
- 4:02- Give us faith for the next step instead
- 4:04- of demanding
- 4:06- the entire plan.
- 4:08- Teach us to recognize your guidance in the
- 4:11- small moments.
- 4:14- In scripture,
- 4:16- in prayer,
- 4:17- and in the peace you place within us.
- 4:21- Let trust become stronger
- 4:24- than our
- 4:26- fears. Today, we choose to follow you
- 4:29- one step,
- 4:31- one decision
- 4:32- at a time
- 4:34- in Jesus name. Amen.
- 4:37- Continue to follow us on divine five one
- 4:40- five
- 4:42- to increase
- 4:43- a deeper faith
- 4:44- and relationship.
