- 2:01Speaker 2: like I know, late, and I walked out of Corey
- 2:04Speaker 2: was still he was still going at it. I was
- 2:07Speaker 2: going back and forth. Yeah, it's awesome.
- 2:09Speaker 1: So it happens when you have California as your state.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, I also have Hawaii but until midnight
- 2:14Speaker 4: for that one.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Yeah oh man, yeah that's yeah. So hey, listen, you
- 2:20Speaker 2: guys know the drill, we dive into the wildest and weirdest,
- 2:23Speaker 2: you know, we try to find some jaw jaw dropping stories.
- 2:27Speaker 2: So just some fun, some fun hiring fails, you know,
- 2:31Speaker 2: like o G kind of flame outs or first day burnouts,
- 2:34Speaker 2: you know, whatever it is. And you know, we tell
- 2:39Speaker 2: the stories, and I guess, I guess, you know, we're
- 2:41Speaker 2: just trying to have a little fun. Hiring is tough work,
- 2:43Speaker 2: and finding great people is a hard business, and so
- 2:47Speaker 2: recruiters should be and telling acquisition people should be uh
- 2:51Speaker 2: applauded for the hard work that they do every day
- 2:55Speaker 2: and uh and and they do have to deal with
- 2:58Speaker 2: a lot of experiences like this, So I don't know,
- 3:01Speaker 2: we hope they have fun. And then we've got the
- 3:03Speaker 2: ten thousand dollars contest going. Hey, if you've got a story,
- 3:06Speaker 2: if you're hiring people, know you got a story, right,
- 3:09Speaker 2: Everyone's got a story. So if you've got a story,
- 3:12Speaker 2: submit it to us. Go to the badhire dot com
- 3:14Speaker 2: and submit the story. All right. You can let us
- 3:18Speaker 2: know that you want to do a segment on the story.
- 3:19Speaker 2: We're happy to do that. We'll do the We'll let
- 3:21Speaker 2: you tell your own story or read your story, whatever
- 3:25Speaker 2: it is. But at the end of the year, we're
- 3:26Speaker 2: going to select somebody to one ten thousand bucks. So
- 3:28Speaker 2: write your story, submit it, you know, heck shoot your shot.
- 3:33Speaker 2: As an organ says yeah, and so let's you know,
- 3:37Speaker 2: get that done and we'd love to see it, love
- 3:39Speaker 2: to have you on the show. So and you know,
- 3:43Speaker 2: I think so many people I love the ones that
- 3:45Speaker 2: are submitted by recruiters because I think they resonate so
- 3:48Speaker 2: well with other people. Like people were like, oh, yeah,
- 3:50Speaker 2: I've had totally sure, it's no telling, you know. I
- 3:52Speaker 2: think like on every story, you know, there's people out
- 3:54Speaker 2: there go I totally.
- 3:56Speaker 1: We if we just had a crazy submission, I want
- 3:59Speaker 1: to say last week to the point where I was like,
- 4:01Speaker 1: this is so niche that I'm like, I can't even
- 4:04Speaker 1: believe this happens, buddy. So hopefully that ends up in
- 4:07Speaker 1: one of these episodes here soon. I don't know if
- 4:09Speaker 1: it might get might get flagged, but it was crazy.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Well we love those though, so please send them.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Yeah, keep sitting them.
- 4:15Speaker 1: It makes us laugh.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Yeah, the badhire dot com. Submit your story for a
- 4:19Speaker 2: chance to win, all right, get it done. All right,
- 4:22Speaker 2: here we go. I've got one here, I had it.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Here we go. This is submitted, it is anonymous, but
- 4:32Speaker 2: this is still for the money. All right, Okay, cool,
- 4:35Speaker 2: all right. So I had an employee submitted his resume
- 4:38Speaker 2: via email, and we interviewed and hired. There were no
- 4:42Speaker 2: red flags in the interview or any initial interaction, so
- 4:46Speaker 2: no red flags at all. He's paired with his field
- 4:49Speaker 2: manager and they began working together. And on day two
- 4:54Speaker 2: he believed he believes the manager is trying to position
- 4:57Speaker 2: him through his water. Oh wait, he on day two
- 5:04Speaker 2: he believes the manager is trying to poison him.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Oh, yes, true.
- 5:11Speaker 2: He then believed every day that someone was breaking into
- 5:14Speaker 2: his car and spraying bleach on all his stuff, including
- 5:19Speaker 2: his sealed banks. This then escalated to him believing he
- 5:23Speaker 2: was poisoned by airborne drugs, leading him to go to
- 5:27Speaker 2: the hospital. I hr manager stepped in uh with investigations,
- 5:34Speaker 2: of course, but he had no proof that his manager
- 5:36Speaker 2: was doing it. During that sit down, he explained to
- 5:40Speaker 2: me the matrix voodoo, karma, and spiritual debt, among other
- 5:48Speaker 2: things he explained to him. This conversation went on for
- 5:50Speaker 2: an hour. I then decided to put him on a
- 5:53Speaker 2: new site with a new manager. He then believed that
- 5:56Speaker 2: all the managers are spiritual. He then believe that all
- 6:00Speaker 2: the managers were spiritual entities trying to harm him, and
- 6:04Speaker 2: that this new manager was trying to kill him with heroin.
- 6:09Speaker 2: After five trips to the er with inconclusive results, he
- 6:14Speaker 2: was put in a seventy two hour hold. He then quit.
- 6:17Speaker 2: No one has been poisoned before or after his employment.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Is his employment his four week employment.
- 6:25Speaker 1: It's that person might have I don't know. His story
- 6:30Speaker 1: is sad, he might have like schizophreni or thing.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I think not certainly not funny, but it does let
- 6:37Speaker 2: you know what you have to put up with and
- 6:41Speaker 2: the types of challenges you have when you're an HR professional.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I mean, this HR professional is listening to all of this,
- 6:49Speaker 2: they're going to accept that. It sounds like she didn't
- 6:52Speaker 2: didn't judge she she you know, the HR person I
- 6:54Speaker 2: don't know if it's a man or woman, then moves
- 6:58Speaker 2: them to a different site with a different manager to
- 7:02Speaker 2: try to you know, maybe it's had something to do
- 7:03Speaker 2: with the manager and so you know, then then it's
- 7:08Speaker 2: you know, then it's well, it's all managers. Yeah, And
- 7:10Speaker 2: you know I had a similar situation in my career
- 7:15Speaker 2: where an employee who believed we were poisoning her and
- 7:19Speaker 2: she was she believed, yes, she she believed we were
- 7:23Speaker 2: putting things into the air that were uh near her
- 7:28Speaker 2: desk to blow chemicals onto her. And she just was
- 7:33Speaker 2: on and on about she was having these health problems
- 7:36Speaker 2: and health issues and you know, she smoked, ye, laborious
- 7:42Speaker 2: through the whole day and but she you know, she
- 7:45Speaker 2: was having these breathing issues and she was blaming it
- 7:47Speaker 2: on us for that.
- 7:48Speaker 1: So it got did you like actually believe that was
- 7:51Speaker 1: she trying to get on?
- 7:52Speaker 2: I think no, I think she believed it. I think
- 7:55Speaker 2: she has just been leale right. And so we actually
- 8:00Speaker 2: aired a investigator, an investigator or a company that does
- 8:06Speaker 2: air testing and move this air testing machine, whether this
- 8:09Speaker 2: guy monitored it for and next to her cubicle for
- 8:14Speaker 2: multiple hours, paid a couple thousand dollars to have it
- 8:16Speaker 2: done and to show her, you know, hey, and it's
- 8:21Speaker 2: still didn't work out for her, you know, in terms
- 8:25Speaker 2: of she just couldn't you know, break through that thought.
- 8:28Speaker 2: You know, it's sad, you know it really is. And
- 8:32Speaker 2: but you know, we were we did, you know, we're
- 8:34Speaker 2: just kind of following HR team's rules, you know, or
- 8:37Speaker 2: the idea, Hey let's verify, because if let's make sure
- 8:40Speaker 2: there's not we're not putting chemicals in there. Let's make
- 8:42Speaker 2: sure there's not some chemical yeah, you know, and she's
- 8:45Speaker 2: got a hypersensitivity to chemicals, so we I mean we
- 8:49Speaker 2: you know, attempted and but it's a great story of
- 8:52Speaker 2: just the challenges HR faces. Yeah, and and what they
- 8:58Speaker 2: have to deal with and that you know, hoping they
- 9:00Speaker 2: got you know, this person help. They you know, ended
- 9:05Speaker 2: up at the hospital. So for sure, good stuff. HR
- 9:08Speaker 2: could be heroes in a lot of ways, you know
- 9:09Speaker 2: what I mean.
- 9:09Speaker 4: Yeah, it's really all you can do in that situation too,
- 9:11Speaker 4: is Yeah.

- 9:58Speaker 2: uh oh, I've got I've got Riverside this year.
- 10:01Speaker 1: May have a Riverside story center.
- 10:02Speaker 2: I love that, I love. I love Matt Man. He's
- 10:05Speaker 2: from the South somewhere. I love his love his accent.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Uh he's he had a he had another story in
- 10:11Speaker 2: a different episode that I saw, so or maybe one
- 10:15Speaker 2: that's coming up.
- 10:17Speaker 3: There's a girl who was hired by the manager of
- 10:19Speaker 3: that store about two weeks prior to me showing up,
- 10:22Speaker 3: and she was hired in sales and she seemed like
- 10:24Speaker 3: a nice young lady from speaking with him. But day
- 10:26Speaker 3: two of me being there, the office manager comes to
- 10:29Speaker 3: me and she asked if the girl had asked for
- 10:32Speaker 3: time off yet, and which she hadn't, And I asked why,
- 10:35Speaker 3: you know why? She asked that apparently she had mentioned
- 10:37Speaker 3: to somebody in the office a Vegas trip in two
- 10:41Speaker 3: weeks that she was going to be on for a week,
- 10:43Speaker 3: and she'd also been looking up plane tickets for it
- 10:46Speaker 3: for the trip on the work computer and left it
- 10:48Speaker 3: up so other people could see, so like it was
- 10:51Speaker 3: pretty easy to track that down. She did come to
- 10:54Speaker 3: me at the end of my first week and she
- 10:56Speaker 3: asked for the time off, and it did line up
- 10:58Speaker 3: perfectly with the vegas, but she claimed it was for
- 11:01Speaker 3: a medical procedure. After she claimed for the medical procedure,
- 11:04Speaker 3: the dates line up, I'm like, I need you to
- 11:05Speaker 3: bring in a doctor's note since you're going to be
- 11:07Speaker 3: out and you just started, you know, I need a
- 11:09Speaker 3: doctor's note to file that so I can get that
- 11:11Speaker 3: time off approved for you. So at that time, she said, yep,
- 11:13Speaker 3: I bring it in. My mom was going to bring
- 11:15Speaker 3: it in this afternoon. That never happened. You know, Monday
- 11:18Speaker 3: rolls around to the next week. She was going to
- 11:20Speaker 3: bring it in. She can't find it. A few days
- 11:22Speaker 3: go by. If I'm not mistaken, it is the Thursday,
- 11:25Speaker 3: the end of the week where she's supposed to be
- 11:27Speaker 3: gone that following week, and she brings it in on
- 11:29Speaker 3: that Thursday. It is a very obvious fake. It has
- 11:32Speaker 3: several spots that were photocopied to make the head er
- 11:35Speaker 3: footer only part of the signature, and the doctor's name
- 11:38Speaker 3: was even on the paper. So I relay all this
- 11:40Speaker 3: to my supervisor, and after hearing back, we decided it
- 11:43Speaker 3: was best to go ahead and terminate her employment. At
- 11:45Speaker 3: that point, I've.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Never heard of Vegas being a medical center. Yeah, I mean, like,
- 11:52Speaker 1: you know, there's a lot of places that I'm like,
- 11:54Speaker 1: oh yeah, that's a really popular place to go get
- 11:56Speaker 1: a medical procedure. Vegas is the one of them, right.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't know Blackjack could heal.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe that's she was looking for therapy. Maybe that's
- 12:05Speaker 1: what she wanted.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that might be what it was. It was,
- 12:09Speaker 2: actually it was actually therapy. She was going on a
- 12:13Speaker 2: spirit but I need some I need some fun therapy.
- 12:17Speaker 2: I you know, when I watched that, I was like,
- 12:19Speaker 2: you know, the the second story of the row where
- 12:22Speaker 2: I was like, man, hr, folks are just dealing with
- 12:26Speaker 2: it every day, you know, like it's like right off
- 12:29Speaker 2: the bat, hire somebody, You're like hied them, you know,
- 12:33Speaker 2: and then and then immediately watching them come off the rails.
- 12:36Speaker 1: That's I don't know why you would search playing tickets
- 12:39Speaker 1: also on your work computer, Like yeah, unless it's a
- 12:44Speaker 1: work trip, Like, I don't know, it's kind of crazy,
- 12:48Speaker 1: all right, I don't know I would.
- 12:49Speaker 2: I don't think I would care if someone really planning
- 12:53Speaker 2: their vacation. Yeah, it took a few minutes at work
- 12:56Speaker 2: to look up look up a ticket.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Yeah, well if I knew I was gonna lie about it.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Than fine. Yeah right, I'm going up movie in the
- 13:06Speaker 2: hospital next week and excursions in Vegas. That's a little different.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Best casinos to go too, well in Vegas?
- 13:15Speaker 2: Yes, all right, Margan, what do you got?
- 13:16Speaker 1: All right? Post surgery? This's casino to go to. Anyways.
- 13:20Speaker 1: My story today is so, I worked at a midsize
- 13:23Speaker 1: firm and we've been searching for someone to head up
- 13:25Speaker 1: a project management office for months. We were talking to
- 13:28Speaker 1: a stack of resident We're talking a stack of resumes
- 13:30Speaker 1: a mile high. After all that, we finally land on
- 13:33Speaker 1: a guy. Let's call him Brandon. Oh, Brandan, Okay, I'm
- 13:37Speaker 1: just gonna say Brandon as seuture. Brandon Cevie was frankly
- 13:39Speaker 1: immaculate leadership roles at three different companies, decades of experience
- 13:43Speaker 1: in the field, glowing references across the board. We were
- 13:46Speaker 1: genuinely excited to bring him on. He starts on Monday morning.
- 13:50Speaker 1: We fill him in with a welcome tour, We walk
- 13:52Speaker 1: him through the team and hand him his laptop the
- 13:55Speaker 1: whole nine yards. Around ten to fifteen, he mentions that
- 13:57Speaker 1: he's going to set out for his first coffee break
- 14:00Speaker 1: now a coworker happens to be at the same coffee shop.
- 14:02Speaker 1: He spots Brandon in line and walks over to say hello.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Brandon is on the phone mid Google search, and the
- 14:08Speaker 1: screen is right there in plain sight. He's googling what
- 14:11Speaker 1: is PMO. To be very clear about what that means, PMO,
- 14:15Speaker 1: Project Management Office is the entire role, the entire thing
- 14:18Speaker 1: we hired him to lead. He is forty five minutes
- 14:21Speaker 1: in his first day and he's googling what his own
- 14:23Speaker 1: job title stands for. The coworker takes a photo, walks
- 14:27Speaker 1: back to the office and shows a boss. We immediately
- 14:29Speaker 1: dig into the references. Every single one of them were fake.
- 14:32Speaker 1: By Wednesday afternoon, Brandon is being walked out of the
- 14:35Speaker 1: building three days in with a total tener a tenure
- 14:39Speaker 1: of about fifty one hours, and his last act in
- 14:42Speaker 1: any official capacity was googling what those three letters meant.
- 14:47Speaker 2: We should have a contest. We should have a contest,
- 14:50Speaker 2: like for the because that's two stories of the total hours.
- 14:53Speaker 2: We just have a contest for like the quickest fire.
- 14:56Speaker 2: I like the quickest. This one is crazy.
- 15:00Speaker 1: That was like thirty minutes right when it was with
- 15:02Speaker 1: the guy who was like, oh, I think it was
- 15:03Speaker 1: like a developer, and he's like, I won't read a
- 15:05Speaker 1: woman's coat or something. Well, got like a really quick
- 15:07Speaker 1: one too.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Hey, yeah, I'm.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Trying to think of some crazy ones.
- 15:10Speaker 2: We've had first date flame outs. Yeah, there's been, there's
- 15:13Speaker 2: been a lot.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Well, I have a second story today too. Actually. I
- 15:17Speaker 1: run a convenience store. Nothing fancied, just a couple of
- 15:20Speaker 1: registers and a lot of kiosk, the usual setup. We
- 15:23Speaker 1: bring on a new clerk and her first shift gets
- 15:25Speaker 1: off to a pretty uneventful start for about fifteen minutes
- 15:28Speaker 1: before my phone pings with a notification from the security
- 15:31Speaker 1: cam app. I open it up and there she is
- 15:34Speaker 1: behind the counter scratching off lottery tickets, no customer lottery tickets.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Are lottery tickets, no way, the ones that had not
- 15:42Speaker 1: been purchased yet. I keep watching because at this point
- 15:45Speaker 1: I genuinely have to know how this ends. She is
- 15:48Speaker 1: hunged over with a full stack with a coin in hand,
- 15:51Speaker 1: completely go into town, not even attempting to be subtled
- 15:54Speaker 1: about it. This goes on for twenty solid minutes before
- 15:56Speaker 1: I finally get my car and I drive over to
- 15:58Speaker 1: the gas station when I and she doesn't even notice
- 16:01Speaker 1: me because she is mid scratch on one of the tickets.
- 16:03Speaker 1: I topped the counter. She freezes, and I just look
- 16:06Speaker 1: at her and I say, how's day one going? She
- 16:09Speaker 1: goes fine, and I told her she didn't work here anymore.
- 16:13Speaker 1: The really sad part was I take the pile after
- 16:16Speaker 1: she left. She didn't win.
- 16:19Speaker 2: You got Vegas in one story, Garson, Seriously, I will
- 16:23Speaker 2: guarantee you this that the first time this happened at
- 16:26Speaker 2: a place. Who's done that? Because you think, like, hey,
- 16:28Speaker 2: I'll just start scratching until it hit the winner and
- 16:31Speaker 2: I'll be able to pay back, pay off all the
- 16:33Speaker 2: cards and make some money.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I know, like I know, like you
- 16:37Speaker 1: know that a lottery ticket or a scratch off, like
- 16:40Speaker 1: I mean, I've never done it before, so like I
- 16:42Speaker 1: mean the same thing.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Like, well, the lottery tickets, you buy numbers and you
- 16:46Speaker 2: got to you got to watching and the numbers come
- 16:48Speaker 2: out right. Scratch offs are like, well, she actively you'd
- 16:53Speaker 2: win as dollars, two dollars, five dollars hans of scratch offs.
- 16:58Speaker 1: I was gonna say, was she like watching the TV
- 17:00Speaker 1: to see if one of the numbers hit or was
- 17:02Speaker 1: she just like.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Who the lady the manager?
- 17:05Speaker 1: Yeah? Or no not the manager at the.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Well no, no, no, no. When you do the scratch off,
- 17:09Speaker 2: she's doing scratch off.
- 17:10Speaker 1: That's what she was doing because it's a lotto tickets.
- 17:12Speaker 2: So yeah, so she's doing scratch them off. So you
- 17:15Speaker 2: scratch it off. If you get like three matching format
- 17:17Speaker 2: and you could win, it'll tell you win one dollar,
- 17:19Speaker 2: win two dollars, you know it's it's uh and so
- 17:23Speaker 2: you're like, you know, or win nothing. Yeah, right, so
- 17:26Speaker 2: maybe you buy five cards, you win two bucks, right,
- 17:28Speaker 2: so you know, or ten or twenty dollars, but you
- 17:32Speaker 2: know the cards cost you twenty five so you lost
- 17:34Speaker 2: five dollars in the in the deal, right. Yeah. But
- 17:36Speaker 2: if you were to sit and go through a ton
- 17:39Speaker 2: of them, yeah, you might stumble on the card that's
- 17:41Speaker 2: five thousand.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Wells long. She didn't want anything, so no, yeah, those.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Things are a rip off.
- 17:48Speaker 4: I was one away from like twenty thousand. They played
- 17:50Speaker 4: the hard Man.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Oh my god, I sweat and.
- 17:53Speaker 2: I was like one more, get my hopes up.
- 17:58Speaker 1: That's hilarious.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Alright, it well, what do you have for us? Corey?
- 18:04Speaker 4: I believe this story is going to be similar to
- 18:07Speaker 4: your first one, and like, how quickly can you get fired? Well? Okay,
- 18:12Speaker 4: So I manage a small office and.
- 18:15Speaker 2: We bring on a new admin.
- 18:16Speaker 4: She came across really well in the interview references, checked
- 18:20Speaker 4: out the whole thing solid higher on paper, which.
- 18:23Speaker 2: I feel like everyone's a solid higher on Yeah, all right.
- 18:26Speaker 4: Day one, I sit her down with our senior admin
- 18:29Speaker 4: to go through training, pretty standard stuff, the calendar system,
- 18:32Speaker 4: to take a queue the phones. Around two o'clock in
- 18:36Speaker 4: the afternoon, the senior admin comes into my office close
- 18:39Speaker 4: to the door behind her and tells me she thinks
- 18:40Speaker 4: we have a problem. I ask what's going on, and
- 18:44Speaker 4: she says the new admin just stopped paying attention mid
- 18:46Speaker 4: training and has been on her phone ever since. So
- 18:50Speaker 4: I walk out to her desk and ask if everything's okay,
- 18:52Speaker 4: letting her know we've still got a few hours of
- 18:54Speaker 4: training to get through. She looks up from her phone
- 18:56Speaker 4: and without even a hint of self awareness, says, oh,
- 19:00Speaker 4: I stopped working at two o'clock. That's when my day ends.
- 19:05Speaker 4: I just stare at her for a second. I said,
- 19:08Speaker 4: I'm sorry, what and she said it again, completely calm,
- 19:12Speaker 4: like this was a perfectly reasonable thing to say on
- 19:14Speaker 4: your first day of a job. Now, the job description
- 19:17Speaker 4: set nine to five. The offer letter said nine to five.
- 19:20Speaker 4: I'd personally walked her through the schedule that same morning,
- 19:24Speaker 4: so I remind her that we work until five, and
- 19:26Speaker 4: she looks at me and goes, well, that doesn't really
- 19:28Speaker 4: work for me. I told her she could go. She
- 19:32Speaker 4: seemed genuinely surprised and asked, like for the day, and
- 19:35Speaker 4: I said, like forever.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Who works to two o'clock and have job as a
- 19:43Speaker 1: standard nine to five we have. That's why Dolly Parton
- 19:46Speaker 1: wrote the song nine to five, not nine to two.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Girl. We have so many stories of like people who
- 19:53Speaker 2: are like bailing. You remember the one guy who doesn't
- 19:57Speaker 2: show and then he's like, well can I leave early?
- 20:00Speaker 2: And by the third days like can I go hybrid?
- 20:02Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 20:02Speaker 4: So so basically, my my takeaway from that is Morgan
- 20:07Speaker 4: and I are good to go at you today, Ken.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Yeah, that sounds yeah.
- 20:12Speaker 2: You know my favorite line in there, what you said
- 20:14Speaker 2: on this story was and you said something about it
- 20:17Speaker 2: was like it's a solid higher on paper, and you're like, listen, everyone,
- 20:21Speaker 2: like everyone go before we start. Everyone was it was
- 20:24Speaker 2: a solid higher on paper.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Everybody's resumes are pretty good.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, I don't want to hat a T shirt.
- 20:30Speaker 2: This is solid higher on paper. There you go a
- 20:33Speaker 2: little thing, you know. Then then then day one came.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Yeah wow, I don't know.
- 20:40Speaker 1: At least her references checked out. The other guy's references
- 20:43Speaker 1: were all fair. So hey, that's true. At least you
- 20:46Speaker 1: have been honest.
- 20:47Speaker 2: That's got to be like super challenging, like to just
- 20:52Speaker 2: incredibly frustrating. You know, you you get the role, clearly,
- 20:55Speaker 2: there's a startup. It's hard. You got a training thing
- 20:57Speaker 2: to go through. Sound like that had a training class,
- 21:00Speaker 2: which means they had to do multiple people. And so
- 21:04Speaker 2: now on day one you got somebody who's like, after
- 21:08Speaker 2: you told them over and over it's nine to five,
- 21:11Speaker 2: they're like bailing it too, and you got to start over.
- 21:14Speaker 2: You know, man, you're just ridiculous. I mean, just like
- 21:18Speaker 2: you just it's got to be incredibly frustrating when you're like,
- 21:21Speaker 2: I don't even know where to begin. Get told you
- 21:24Speaker 2: nine to five, told you it was still five o'clock.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's so weird.
- 21:29Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, huh a man, that's it
- 21:34Speaker 2: for us today. That was those are good. I appreciate it.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Get wet. We've heard a lot of stories around overtheless,
- 21:41Speaker 2: a couple of shows around resume fraud and all that,
- 21:43Speaker 2: and and so I thought they were good, but you know,
- 21:50Speaker 2: I forgot to I forgot to mention the dimension at
- 21:53Speaker 2: the beginning the show about the ten thousand dollars. Okay, ye,
- 21:56Speaker 2: all right, well.
- 21:57Speaker 1: You always say it again, the line us.
- 22:00Speaker 2: We appreciate listening to the Badhire Listen, please subscribe, rate, review, share,
- 22:05Speaker 2: whatever you could do. We appreciate the follows, and the
- 22:07Speaker 2: followers were it's actually growing shocking. We just you know,
- 22:12Speaker 2: just continue at it and and don't forget we could
- 22:15Speaker 2: win ten thousand dollars. So shoot your shot, send your
- 22:17Speaker 2: story in, we'll see what's up. You go to the
- 22:20Speaker 2: badheart dot com to do that, and uh, and you
- 22:23Speaker 2: can say, you know, you maybe you want to do
- 22:25Speaker 2: a feature or segment where we do what we did
- 22:27Speaker 2: with Matt. Love to have them, love to have you
- 22:29Speaker 2: do that, so it'd be cool.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure.
- 22:32Speaker 2: So thanks for listening. We'll see you next time.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Thanks guys, Thank you,
