- 0:01In the bhagavad-gita Arjuna poses, the question to Shri
- 0:05Krishna as to how to identify the realized Soul asking, how
- 0:11does he act, how does he speak Etc?
- 0:16Shri Krishna responds, that it is not true outer action.
- 0:20That one can identify the liberated individual, as this is
- 0:25something that can only be understood from the inner state
- 0:29of consciousness of that. Vidual.
- 0:33Some people follow the moral precepts of their society or
- 0:36their religion in an exemplary fashion yet inwardly, they may
- 0:41be in a state of turmoil Under Pressure perhaps even lusting
- 0:46after things that they do not show outwardly.
- 0:50They are considered moral and leading lights of society yet
- 0:55from the spiritual standpoint, they are struggling and unready
- 0:59for the deeper realization Asians, there may be others who
- 1:03outwardly seem to be lacking in the correct moral standpoint at
- 1:08least within the framework of the social order with, in which
- 1:11they live. But who are free inwardly and
- 1:15hold, a deep sense of spiritual purpose, these individuals will
- 1:20still be working out the challenges they face, but they
- 1:24do it with an orientation and focus possibly absent from the
- 1:29individual who strictly observes the outer forms, while not
- 1:34solving the inner obstacles that arise.
- 1:39The mother observes quote. For example, if you take your
- 1:44stand on a moral Viewpoint which is itself altogether wrong from
- 1:48the spiritual point of view. There are people who apparently
- 1:52lead in all together perfectly moral life, who conform to all
- 1:57the social laws, all the Customs, the moral conventions
- 2:02and where a mass of impurity from the spiritual point of view
- 2:06these beings are profoundly impure.
- 2:09Or on the other hand, there are some poor people who do things,
- 2:14who are born. For instance with a sense of
- 2:17freedom and do things, which are not considered, very respectable
- 2:21from the social or moral point of view.
- 2:25And who can be in a state of inner aspiration and inner
- 2:28sincerity, which makes them infinitely pure than others.
- 2:34This is one of the big difficulties as soon as one
- 2:37speaks of these things there. Arises the deformation produced
- 2:42in the Consciousness, by all the social and moral conventions.
- 2:46The soon as you speak of Purity, immoral Monument comes in front
- 2:51of you, which completely falsifies your notion.
- 2:55And note that it is infinitely easier to be moral from the
- 2:59social point of view than to be moral from the spiritual point
- 3:04of view to be moral from the social Viewpoint.
- 3:07One has only to pay good attention to do nothing which is
- 3:11not approved of by others. This may be somewhat difficult
- 3:17but still it is not impossible and one may be, as I said a
- 3:22monument of insincerity and impurities.
- 3:25While doing this, whereas to be pure from the spiritual point of
- 3:30view means of vigilance a Consciousness.
