- 0:07SPEAKER_00: Alright, so welcome to Trap Souls.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: We're at Madison Seminary.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: It is now Tentil Two.
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: Again.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: Take two.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: Sorry.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: Take two.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: Again, we're at Madison Seminary.
- 0:19SPEAKER_02: Alright, so uh did an investigation tonight.
- 0:22SPEAKER_02: Uh we had another group with us of nuclear soul seekers.
- 0:26SPEAKER_02: We had a group called Savage Energy uh join us tonight in an investigation.
- 0:30SPEAKER_02: They want to kind of do their own thing, but also mix their thoughts and opinions and experiences with us.
- 0:36SPEAKER_02: Um they've all taken off so far tonight.
- 0:38SPEAKER_02: Uh that all that remains in the building is myself, uh Reed, Daniel Reed, and then Ryan.
- 0:45SPEAKER_02: Uh, we wanted to kind of put together this podcast uh before we went and did our final investigations for the night.
- 0:50SPEAKER_02: We still have about another hour to two hours, depending on when Ryan decides he's gonna kick us out of the building and we've had enough ghost action.
- 0:57SPEAKER_02: Um, just to give you a little recap on what's happened so far tonight, uh, and we did this podcast right before doing this podcast, and unfortunately the recording stopped and we didn't know it, so we're doing it for take two.
- 1:09SPEAKER_02: Daniel mentioned, and it's his first investigation, that uh he's gonna simplify what he said in the first recording, and I was just explaining to him not to do that because, like a lot of you that watch our podcast have never gone on a ghost hunt and you know investigated the paranormal activities out there.
- 1:26SPEAKER_02: And I think it's really important for people not to see just like Ryan, who's been doing this for 20 years, but to hear experiences from someone that went out in the field for the first time to get their experiences and know exactly what you might be in for uh during your first time.
- 1:41SPEAKER_02: So um just to recap on what I noticed tonight, uh, very little activity up until about midnight.
- 1:49SPEAKER_02: Um we actually went up to the second floor, and it was myself, Daniel, and uh Ryan's niece, and we went up to the second floor, went into the offices, I put up a cat ball in one door, and I put a REM pod in the other door, double door, and was trying to get the campcorder to work, so I was trying to get some night vision activity for you guys, and uh the camera flipped upside down and it wouldn't record, and I couldn't figure it out.
- 2:16SPEAKER_02: And I said, Well, it makes sense, activity's gonna ramp up because it's midnight, you know.
- 2:20SPEAKER_02: Try to be a joke with it.
- 2:22SPEAKER_02: And uh, sure as shit, when I did that, cat ball went off, REM pod went off in the other door, and I was like, wait, wait, wait.
- 2:29SPEAKER_02: I was like, I can't even record it yet.
- 2:31SPEAKER_02: So I made a joke out of it, but that's when we got our activity, right?
- 2:34SPEAKER_02: So I couldn't show you.
- 2:35SPEAKER_02: Um, but after that, we got some activity up in the attic.
- 2:39SPEAKER_02: Uh, we'll talk a little bit about feelings and how uh we felt throughout the night at different points.
- 2:44SPEAKER_02: Um, and I just really want to kind of touch on Daniel's experiences for this podcast as it's his first time, and he can kind of give you guys a little dive into what to expect on your first uh hunt and what he saw on his first.
- 2:57SPEAKER_02: So, Daniel, if you'd like to jump in.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: That was a good segue.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Daniel.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, of course.
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: Uh so coming into the first um official ghost hunt, uh, not a lot of uh type of paranormal activity sort of stuff in in the past, uh, a couple little things as me and you were kids, um, but nothing ever jumped out and and really struck a nerve anywhere that I wanted to really follow up with it.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: Um you had uh had some experiences in the past, um, and then more recently I know you had joined the group, uh kind of sparked an interest.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: Um lately I had been actually uh kind of just doing a little bit more research on um mediumship and stuff like that.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: I'm not a medium by any means.
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: I will not say that that I even feel that way or that it's real, I'm not sure.
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: Um I'm a complete skeptic with all of that.
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: Uh so going into tonight, um I had no feelings about it.
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: You kept on asking me if I was excited.
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: I didn't know if I was excited or not.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: I didn't know if I was excited, terrified, whatever.
- 3:55SPEAKER_01: I was numb to it.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: Um so I had asked you not to tell me anything.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: Don't tell me anything, don't tell me anything that happened in the past, don't tell me any stories about the building, nothing like that.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: Um did you come in blind?
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: Did you do any research beforehand?
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: So the only thing I had looked up uh was last night I looked at the Madison Seminary page just because I wanted to see what they were posting.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: Um in everything that was on the Madison Seminary page is what I what I already knew.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: Um from living in the area, um, and I a couple years uh back, probably 10-15 years ago, randomly one day was driving by, always uh thought that the building was interesting, caught a guy outside, uh he said that he was a family member, took me through the building just to show me.
- 4:37SPEAKER_01: Uh so I saw Sarah's room, a couple of the other rooms in the Civil War House, nothing crazy, it was a daytime, just a quick walk-in, walk out.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: I thought it was an old dilapidated building.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: Um never thought anything else about it.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: Um so going into tonight, no.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: No, you know, back history or anything like that, other than it was, you know, uh a home for women whose husbands had died in the Civil War and that building had been broken down and rebuilt and stuff.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: So, anyways, coming into tonight, I just wanted to more or less um I didn't I didn't expect for there to be major apparitions or anything like that.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: I just kind of wanted to see if I would get any of the actual feelings.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: I wanted to see if there would be a dreadful feeling, a fearful feeling, a cold feeling, anything.
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: So as we as we came through and we started walking and everything, um uh I didn't I just felt like it was an old, you know, uh dilapidated building in a sense.
- 5:35SPEAKER_01: And and I was actually probably more interested in the infrastructure of the building.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: Um we went into the boiler room, I was looking at the boilers and everything like that.
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: Um and as we walked around, we're looking at all these old rooms, and I'm not feeling anything, and I'm I actually had mentioned it to you a few times.
- 5:52SPEAKER_01: I kept on feeling just really calm.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: Like I didn't feel I didn't feel of any sort of presence, nothing was looming over me, nothing was walking behind me.
- 6:01SPEAKER_01: I turned a corner, didn't see anything.
- 6:03SPEAKER_01: I was like, okay, this is just an old building that's empty.
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: And then when we went up to the attic, we kind of split up into teams, um, we started sitting in some of the uh some of the rooms asking questions, wasn't feeling anything.
- 6:17SPEAKER_01: You were doing some um temperature reads, we were getting a little bit of a of a drop or a raise in temperature here and there, but nothing.
- 6:25SPEAKER_01: We started even being a little bit more aggressive, asking, you know, if you don't want us here, tell us.
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: If you want us here, tell us.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: You know, if you don't want us standing in the doorway, tell us, or you know, give us some sort of a sign.
- 6:37SPEAKER_01: We haven't listened to any of that video yet, so who knows what they were saying.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: We might have been blind in that aspect.
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: But it wasn't until um really that we walked around to the what would be the north side of the building.
- 6:49SPEAKER_01: We I kept getting drawn to these two kind of uh hallway, it's there's like a long hallway and an exit with a fire stairwell down.
- 6:58SPEAKER_01: There's these two rooms across from each other.
- 7:00SPEAKER_01: In the attic.
- 7:00SPEAKER_01: Yes, this is all in the attic.
- 7:02SPEAKER_01: And um I've been kind of feeling drawn to these two rooms, and I said, I don't know if these were even a room of any sort that people would have been in because they were really small and near a fire escape.
- 7:14SPEAKER_01: But I said, let's sit in here.
- 7:15SPEAKER_01: So we s we both sat in there, we're talking to each other really more than anything.
- 7:20SPEAKER_01: Didn't feel anything.
- 7:22SPEAKER_01: Long story short, you were doing some um video recording.
- 7:25SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 7:26SPEAKER_01: I asked you to, since we weren't getting anything, go down to the common area, do a sweep through there, and I was just gonna sit in there and just see.
- 7:34SPEAKER_01: And none of this was planned or anything.
- 7:36SPEAKER_01: And you started walking, and you tripped over some toys, and there's all this noise and commotion going on, and all I could think about, I was sitting in this room, and it was just I was so calm.
- 7:47SPEAKER_01: It I was calm, like I almost could like fall asleep.
- 7:50SPEAKER_01: It was really weird because I'm like, I'm in this dilapidated building, I shouldn't feel like I want to fall asleep in it in a cold room.
- 7:57SPEAKER_01: And while I was watching the the um temperature uh gauge thing that you had handed me, I noticed that there was a pretty drastic shift in the temperatures.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: When we had started, it was you know like 52 degrees, then it went down, then it went back up, and then when you left, almost immediately it started just dipping and dipping and dipping and dipping, and it was like mid-40s, like 46, 47.
- 8:26SPEAKER_01: So like a nine degree dip.
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: It was just weird.
- 8:29SPEAKER_01: You know, I don't know the exact temperature.
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: Um, I think we said it in the recordings.
- 8:33SPEAKER_01: I just I didn't even know, actually.
- 8:35SPEAKER_01: I had asked Ryan, I said, well, does it mean that they were around me if it got colder, if it got hotter?
- 8:40SPEAKER_01: I didn't know.
- 8:40SPEAKER_01: So I don't know what any of this means.
- 8:42SPEAKER_01: Um so but at this point in the night, I'm still kind of sitting here like I haven't really experienced a whole lot.
- 8:51SPEAKER_01: You know, when when we were in that room and the REM pod was going off and the cat ball was gone going off, there was no explaining it.
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: I stepped around the the cat balls, I stomped around the cat balls to try and get it to go off.
- 9:03SPEAKER_01: I could not get the cat ball to go off unless I picked it up physically.
- 9:07SPEAKER_01: Uh the the REM pod, I don't even know what it does.
- 9:10SPEAKER_01: So that they were both going off, that's all I can say.
- 9:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 9:14SPEAKER_01: And but you know, in the rooms that we were in that are known for activity, I didn't feel anything.
- 9:21SPEAKER_01: Sarah's room, for instance, is always brought up.
- 9:24SPEAKER_01: You know, I was in the three times.
- 9:27SPEAKER_01: I I sat on Sarah's bed, I laid on Sarah's bed, I played with Sarah's toys.
- 9:32SPEAKER_01: You snuggled the teddy bear.
- 9:32SPEAKER_01: I snuggled the teddy bear on the bed, nothing happened, not even the cat ball, but then we were just sitting in a random room with with some fine china, and we talk about it being 12 o'clock, and all of a sudden everything's going off.
- 9:45SPEAKER_01: So I don't know if through the night or if as different people were leaving, you know, and less people were here, maybe they could draw the energy from us a little bit more.
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's I think Sarah's room is overrated.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: I said this is my eighth time here, and I've really never had anything happen in Sarah's room.
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: A couple EMF hits, but nothing major.
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: I mean, I've I've had my chair pushed last time I was here.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: But maybe it's because everybody just is always at Sarah's room.
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: Maybe these other spirits in other rooms are starting to be like jealous.
- 10:24SPEAKER_00: Like, hey, talk to me.
- 10:25SPEAKER_00: So now they're starting to be a little more active.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: I don't know if that's the case of it.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: Sarah texting you.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 10:32SPEAKER_01: She's like, I'm here.
- 10:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm here.
- 10:34SPEAKER_01: Stop talking.
- 10:35SPEAKER_01: Stop saying I'm not here because I am.
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: No, I mean, again, I think just a lot of people abuse Sarah's room as like a paranormal hotspot.
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: And maybe these other spirits are like, I'm here too.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: Talk to me.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: I mean, the office area, we got you know, some good rebutts up there, and cat ball activity up there, and we never had that before.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: So I think a lot more spirits here maybe than there was, or maybe they're starting to wake up a little bit.
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: But again, like you said in the beginning, really nothing.
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: It was calm.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: My daughter and I got here early, went about 45 minutes an hour, we went up to the attic, did some investigations, just the two of us, and then we went to the back of the attic, those rooms.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: In the doctor's room, we were in there for a while.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: Then we did Sarah's room.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: And that was it.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: I mean it was pretty calm.
- 11:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 11:32SPEAKER_02: You said you had a couple feelings upstairs, right?
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm out there.
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: The doctor's room we had some feelings up there, both of us did when we walked in there.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna have to check the video of it when I do it.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: I did see a shadow figure go behind the patient's chair back there through the camera, so we'll have to see if that's on there.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: Um it kind of seems like every time I catch a shadow figure on camera, I go back, it's not there.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: So we'll we'll have to see how that is.
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: But I mean, again, we had Savage Energy here.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: Um I didn't get a chance to investigate with them.
- 12:05SPEAKER_00: They kind of went on their not on their own with a couple of our other members.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: Um they seem to have some experiences and wanted to check their video footage out.
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: I know Aaron did a lot of video of them and so did Craig.
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: So, I mean, once we get through all the evidence, we'll see what we had.
- 12:23SPEAKER_00: Again, as the night went on, it got later, it got colder.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: Um, seemed to wake up a little bit.
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: And, you know, we had some experiences up in the attic.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: Not for this podcast, maybe another podcast in the future.
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: Um, my niece has some experiences.
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: Again, we come to Madison to give people who don't have experiences experiences.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: And that's what that's the main reason why we come to Madison as a group.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: We started as a group to give people those experiences.
- 12:54SPEAKER_00: Because we have the tools and we have some knowledge.
- 12:57SPEAKER_00: And it was good to have another group here.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: And I'm glad both Sammy and Daniel here were our two doobies.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: So um hopefully you guys enjoyed it.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: I know she did.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: Hopefully she's not too freaked out.
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: Maybe.
- 13:15SPEAKER_02: Maybe maybe it woke her up and she's gonna drive for it now.
- 13:18SPEAKER_02: You never know.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, as a driver, she's never coming back.
- 13:22SPEAKER_02: She drove away for good.
- 13:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she might have drove away for good.
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: So I mean, hopefully that uh I'm glad she got that experience.
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: Um most people don't.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: I said we're not gonna talk about what happened.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: But she had an experience that I've never had.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: And I've been doing this for 20 years.
- 13:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 13:41SPEAKER_00: It sucks that your first experience is that intense.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: But it's cool on the other hand that you have to experience it.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: So, like you said, Daniel, like you didn't have that many experiences, but I always say just the feeling is an experience.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: You don't have to catch stuff on camera, you don't have to catch on EVP.
- 13:59SPEAKER_00: You get that airy feeling, that's an experience.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: You know, that's cool.
- 14:03SPEAKER_00: I mean, your body is your best tool when you're doing paranormal.
- 14:07SPEAKER_00: That and the EVPs.
- 14:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah, EVPs definitely.
- 14:10SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:11SPEAKER_02: Well, we'll have to see.
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: We haven't even looked at any of them yet.
- 14:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and the the big thing is like I told Daniel, we went into uh all these different locations, and this was the first time I bought my own recorder because every time I've talked to you, you always say, and you you put it in my head multiple times, you're not gonna hear most things, 99% of the things to your human ear.
- 14:30SPEAKER_02: You're just not gonna have it unless you get an experience.
- 14:32SPEAKER_02: So I was like, I'm gonna bring a recorder, I'm gonna segment every location we go to so I can go back and listen to it.
- 14:38SPEAKER_02: And you were like, I go through 30 hours of investigation work every time I do this, and you pull things.
- 14:44SPEAKER_02: Like, when what really got me was, and I'll never never not talk about it, is when Sarah did her investigation in the attic, her duo solo, um, and you got that crystal clear it was me.
- 14:59SPEAKER_02: I hope we get something like that again because that was fantastic.
- 15:03SPEAKER_02: You never get something like that.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: No, that was obviously the best C VP I ever got.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: And I mean it was great.
- 15:10SPEAKER_00: Hopefully, we get something like that.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: Again, it's well, we gotta go back out.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: And we are going back, we're gonna go back out, so maybe we'll get something.
- 15:19SPEAKER_00: We might already have something, we don't know.
- 15:21SPEAKER_02: And what I'll tell you is without going into it like you said, because we want to, but we're not going to.
- 15:27SPEAKER_02: When Ryan talks with his niece, and hopefully he can get her in on a podcast for this, her experience, you're gonna love it.
- 15:35SPEAKER_02: Uh, I was part of it with these guys, and how everything factored together for this one moment was worth this whole trip together with everybody's experiences just in that one moment.
- 15:46SPEAKER_02: So you have to stay tuned for this.
- 15:48SPEAKER_02: You're gonna love it.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was uh it'd be interesting to get after she calms down, goes home, and thinks about it.
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: Again, she may never might not want to talk about it, right?
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: I don't know, but it was it was a cool experience.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: It shook her.
- 16:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think I think one thing though to to say, and this is my first time here, um I didn't ever get a feeling that anything was here to hurt anybody.
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: No.
- 16:15SPEAKER_01: I I don't I don't feel like you know, I know that you that you guys have said that there's different types of spirits, and and I could agree with that, but nothing here wants to hurt anybody, in my opinion.
- 16:27SPEAKER_01: Um, everything, every spirit that's here is here for a reason, probably, either stuck here or you know, here for their purpose.
- 16:35SPEAKER_01: Um I'm not afraid to go back out.
- 16:37SPEAKER_01: Um I'm a little bit freaked out because of the experience that she had, sure.
- 16:42SPEAKER_01: Um, but I I almost want to try and figure it out a little bit more.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, there's always those back rooms in the attic, there's always been something there.
- 16:52SPEAKER_01: There is definitely, and I'm glad that you didn't tell me anything, because then you guys let me know later in the night, hey, you were sitting in the room that actually freaks us out a little bit.
- 17:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so to touch on that before he goes into this, uh the back room in the attic.
- 17:10SPEAKER_02: Uh if you go back if you go to this uh the exit sign, the room on the left.
- 17:15SPEAKER_02: So I let Daniel go through each room.
- 17:17SPEAKER_02: We went in and did an investigation with the camera, every room, three times.
- 17:22SPEAKER_02: So the first two times we went up there, each room, he got nothing.
- 17:26SPEAKER_02: We sat in the back room on the left.
- 17:28SPEAKER_02: So last time I was here in Madison, and you guys can look back at the podcast from our last experience here, there were like four of us up in that room, and there was knocking and scratching on the walls that we couldn't explain.
- 17:39SPEAKER_02: We sent people down to the second floor to the main room, everything was not provable.
- 17:45SPEAKER_02: There was no way to explain it, with the exception of it was paranormal or there was a raccoon in the wall.
- 17:50SPEAKER_02: I mean, I I can't disprove that, so I don't know.
- 17:52SPEAKER_02: Um, but that's where I felt heavy.
- 17:55SPEAKER_02: We go in that room the first time, and Daniel's like, let's just sit down and and feel it.
- 17:59SPEAKER_02: He goes, It's so calming and relaxing in this room.
- 18:03SPEAKER_02: And I'm sitting there like, hmm.
- 18:05SPEAKER_02: I wasn't gonna say nothing.
- 18:06SPEAKER_02: Second time we went in there, it's the room that he mentioned, it dropped nine degrees when I walked away.
- 18:12SPEAKER_02: So go ahead and jump in there.
- 18:14SPEAKER_02: But I just wanted to give that well.
- 18:15SPEAKER_01: So when when we went back in there that that second second or third time, yeah, I remember mentioning to you as well, I don't know, and I I joked about it, I said, I don't know if it's the Red Bull that I've drank or and the pop that I've drank, but I'm I'm having like a sharp chest pain right over my heart.
- 18:34SPEAKER_01: I said, It's gotta be the Red Bull, but it was weird because it was when the temperature was was kind of raising and dropping.
- 18:42SPEAKER_02: And you asked a question.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: And at this point, I didn't know anything about this room.
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: I just thought that I really kept on saying this had to have been a coat closet or a janitorial closet of some of some kind.
- 18:54SPEAKER_01: Um, I don't remember what I asked though.
- 18:57SPEAKER_02: Were you hurt here?
- 18:59SPEAKER_01: Oh, I did ask that.
- 19:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 19:01SPEAKER_01: And then you said your chest started hurting and you didn't know if it was in your mind because you asked that or Well, and I think I think some of it too in all of this, and for anybody who would be their first time, you know, we were just talking about this.
- 19:14SPEAKER_01: Your mind is gonna play the biggest the biggest factor in all of this.
- 19:17SPEAKER_01: Your body plays a big factor, your mind plays a big factor.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: If I think I see an apparition sitting outside of that window, my mind is going to obviously start to kind of think that way.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: When I walked into this, I feel like I was so numb that I I haven't seen anything yet.
- 19:35SPEAKER_01: But you gotta be able to kind of mask that fear because anybody who walks into an old, dilapidated, scary building, you know, you look at this from the outside, the facade of this building is is grandiose, it's scary, especially at night.
- 19:53SPEAKER_01: But I'm sitting in a super weird closet room on an attic level of an old sane asylum, in a sense, it was, and I wasn't scared.
- 20:03SPEAKER_01: But then all of a sudden I started having chest pain after I asked something if it if it was in pain.
- 20:08SPEAKER_01: Is that it trying to manifest?
- 20:11SPEAKER_01: It could just be showing you their pain.
- 20:13SPEAKER_01: Could it be showing me the pain?
- 20:15SPEAKER_01: Again, I have no idea, but I can tell you I had you know the the thing in my hand, it never lit up, it was just the temperature was dropping.
- 20:24SPEAKER_01: It did not drop any anywhere even near that in any other place in this building.
- 20:31SPEAKER_01: One last thing though, that that I brought up to mark, and Ryan, you might be able to explain it a little bit more, with the energies of spirits.
- 20:41SPEAKER_01: Do you think that the seminary has been known by a lot of large, you know, very well-known paranormal investigative groups as being super active?
- 20:54SPEAKER_01: And then you guys have said the last couple times you've come, it hasn't been super active.
- 20:59SPEAKER_01: Is it because, possibly, the modernization of the building, new fire systems, all the cameras that have been added to this building, the Wi-Fi system that's been added to this building?
- 21:11SPEAKER_01: Could all of those things that draw energy or take energy to run, could those almost be allowing these spirits to not need our energy anymore?
- 21:20SPEAKER_01: Because they can grab it from that and and still be here without us almost?
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean they're gonna grab energy from anything they can.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: The easiest source would be uh something that's there already.
- 21:31SPEAKER_00: And it's always there.
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: I mean, those it's always electricity running through this building now because of that.
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: So yeah, and the modernization.
- 21:38SPEAKER_00: I mean, people do it all the time renovate houses, and that's when the activity kicks up.
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: So they're not really renovating this to modernize it, like the floor plan or I mean he's done a good job of trying to make it the way it was.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: But thinking about like a spirit from eighteen hundreds, looking in the corner.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: So modernizing it and renovating it to you know cameras, fire system, stuff they've never seen before.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: So that can pick it up too, because they don't like it.
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: They always say when you renovate a house and you try to modern you hear that?
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:20SPEAKER_02: Interference.
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, whatever.
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: And you try to modernize it.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: We just all heard that all at the same time, just so you know.
- 22:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: That was me hitting the and you try to modernize the house and you change it, you know, those spirits don't like it because they like it the way it was.
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: So it could be the same thing that, you know, they're putting different stuff in here, and they can be using that as an energy.
- 22:42SPEAKER_01: Well, and again, they're bringing in a lot of artifacts that probably were not in this building back when this was a hospital or the home.
- 22:54SPEAKER_01: Um replicas or replicas around the same time frame.
- 22:57SPEAKER_01: Who knows what these other items actually have.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we talked about that before in different podcasts.
- 23:03SPEAKER_00: You know, I talked to someone out in Fairfield.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: Um, Adam owns Fairfield too, and I guess he had a place in Pennsylvania that had to be demolished.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: Um Adam tries to buy these buildings to save them, but this one cannot be saved.
- 23:16SPEAKER_00: But he took a lot of that stuff and brought it over here.
- 23:19SPEAKER_00: Wonderful.
- 23:20SPEAKER_00: And it's like it's good though.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: It is good.
- 23:22SPEAKER_00: It's it's not good.
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: Like you can't.
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: I mean, my belief you can't be mixing.
- 23:27SPEAKER_00: I mean, stuff is attached to that, and you're bringing it over.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: You shouldn't be mixing spirits, like they get confused.
- 23:34SPEAKER_00: Or maybe they're happy because there's other people here, other patients.
- 23:38SPEAKER_00: I mean, you got to get the psych patients up there.
- 23:40SPEAKER_00: You know, they're probably happy.
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: Some of them might have been happy having new friends.
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: So obviously the people in the back corner of the attic, not too happy.
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: Maybe not.
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: Maybe not.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'd be I'd be curious to see what is what what that was back in the day, because now knowing a little bit more, again, maybe it's the mind, but there is a very distinct difference between the feeling of that common area and once you get down that hall.
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: And I actually remember back way back when I walked this um during the day, I remember, I can't remember what his name was who walked me through here, but I remember him saying something about there's one corner of this building that nobody likes to go around.
- 24:29SPEAKER_01: And I always thought it was on the second floor around Sarah's room or something, but now I really do think that it was actually up in that attic area.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: So when I first came here the first couple of times, that back room where Sammy had that experience, my niece, that was supposedly a male nurse that lived in that room.
- 24:48SPEAKER_00: And he used to come out and you see a shadow figure, and like sometimes you get like a needle stabbing her leg.
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: And that was the story that I haven't heard that story in ten years from here.
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: So stories seem to change, and that's why we like doing Madison, because I like to try to find out what the real story is.
- 25:10SPEAKER_00: And we ask a lot of questions to get the real story.
- 25:13SPEAKER_00: Now that male nurse just disappeared, like now that no one talks about it.
- 25:18SPEAKER_00: And we did an investigation out there, I separated everybody in different rooms, and I stayed in the middle and just asked questions.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: Again, your mind is powerful, and it did feel like I was getting stabbed in the leg by a needle.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: That's probably my mind just playing tricks on me.
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: That's why I took it as.
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, the stories do change, you know, same with Sarah's room.
- 25:43SPEAKER_00: The story changes, she's demonic, she's an old lady, you know, whatever.
- 25:48SPEAKER_00: And too bad Sarah doesn't like to talk.
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: After eight times, I've not gotten nothing, no answers out of Sarah's room.
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: I don't even know if there is a Sarah.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: I keep saying that, and I'll keep saying that till she smacks me in the face and says I'm here.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: Or she might have just texted me, I don't know.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I mean, again, cool experiences here.
- 26:09SPEAKER_00: Um, we did come here uh late December because it's cold.
- 26:14SPEAKER_00: That's what I wanted.
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: We did last February we did it and we had a lot of experiences.
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: Two in between, not so much.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: So I thought the cold might have something to do with it.
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: Still unsure about that.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: I mean, obviously a little more activity than we the last two times, and it wasn't as cold as I thought it would be.
- 26:34SPEAKER_00: I was hoping it'd be a little colder because in February I think it was like five degrees.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: It was cold.
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: You thought tonight was cold.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: It was cold.
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: Tonight is cold.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: It's not that cold.
- 26:45SPEAKER_00: We're good.
- 26:45SPEAKER_00: It's not that cold.
- 26:47SPEAKER_00: But yeah, so once we go over to evidence, we'll let you know that, yeah, if you want to do investigation of medicine, dress warm, dress warm and come what's cold.
- 26:56SPEAKER_02: So I guess last thing I'll say is, Daniel, overall, wrap it up in um a few sentences.
- 27:02SPEAKER_02: How was your first experience?
- 27:04SPEAKER_01: I think I think so far, because I'm very skeptical that when we go back out, there might be a little bit more activity.
- 27:11SPEAKER_01: There's only three of us here now.
- 27:12SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 27:13SPEAKER_01: There's only three people that if if these spirits want to gravitate towards somebody, there's only three people to do it with right now.
- 27:20SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 27:21SPEAKER_01: Before there was there was quite a few of us, and it's later in the night, it's colder now.
- 27:26SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm very excited to see if if we do get you know a little bit more activity.
- 27:32SPEAKER_01: Um, I don't want an experience uh like like your niece had.
- 27:36SPEAKER_01: Um but if it happens, it happens.
- 27:38SPEAKER_01: I don't think anything's here to hurt me, but if it happens, we'll deal with it then.
- 27:43SPEAKER_01: Um I may never want to come back.
- 27:44SPEAKER_01: But um overall, I don't think anybody should be afraid to do this.
- 27:49SPEAKER_01: Um especially if you're with a group that is knowledgeable, has some equipment, um, that definitely helped make me feel a little bit more comfortable.
- 27:57SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, in the very beginning, I was flashing my flashlight everywhere, trying to figure my way around.
- 28:02SPEAKER_01: Now I'm like, okay, let's go.
- 28:03SPEAKER_01: Don't turn on your flashlight.
- 28:04SPEAKER_01: Like, I want to see.
- 28:05SPEAKER_01: Um, but I'm uh I gotta I have a feeling of a little bit more understanding of the building.
- 28:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 28:14SPEAKER_01: So I'm very curious.
- 28:16SPEAKER_01: I might feel completely different after we look at all the evidence.
- 28:19SPEAKER_01: Uh, you know, Mark was mentioning that when he was recording there were some orbs flying around and some other stuff, so I'll be very interested to see what actually comes of all that and when I actually have to see that.
- 28:29SPEAKER_01: Uh, but again, I definitely want to come back.
- 28:31SPEAKER_01: I want to do another one.
- 28:32SPEAKER_01: Good.
- 28:33SPEAKER_01: Um, not maybe necessarily here, maybe here.
- 28:35SPEAKER_01: But uh yeah, at this point I'm not freaked out enough to not come back.
- 28:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, you gotta have respect for spirits.
- 28:41SPEAKER_00: 100%.
- 28:42SPEAKER_00: And we talked about it because we talked with Sammy about it, is uh these spirits want to be here or they're trapped here.
- 28:49SPEAKER_00: So will they be trapped souls?
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: They might be trapped souls.
- 28:53SPEAKER_02: Hmm.
- 28:54SPEAKER_00: That's odd.
- 28:55SPEAKER_02: It is odd.
- 28:56SPEAKER_02: Did you give some merch out today?
- 28:57SPEAKER_00: I did.
- 28:58SPEAKER_00: We played a game.
- 28:58SPEAKER_00: What kind of game did you play today?
- 29:00SPEAKER_00: It was like beer pong, but not with beer, because we don't drink alcohol while we're on investigations.
- 29:06SPEAKER_00: Of course not.
- 29:07SPEAKER_00: But no, we uh we did a little had some red solo calls with numbers under it, and you gotta throw a ball and match a number to the list I had.
- 29:17SPEAKER_02: And what happened if you got a number per se?
- 29:20SPEAKER_00: So some people won merch.
- 29:24SPEAKER_00: Five people won solos.
- 29:26SPEAKER_00: So they had to go do solos.
- 29:28SPEAKER_00: They were kind of duos though.
- 29:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they they were kind of freaked out, so I let them pick someone to go with them.
- 29:34SPEAKER_02: Which was good because there were a couple of new people, a couple people from the other group, and they don't really like to go by themselves.
- 29:40SPEAKER_00: So yeah, and one person that was like, I'll go by myself was my niece.
- 29:43SPEAKER_02: And she did.
- 29:44SPEAKER_02: She did, yeah.
- 29:45SPEAKER_02: She's a she was in the attic by herself.
- 29:47SPEAKER_02: Let that be known coming into your next podcast.
- 29:51SPEAKER_02: Your niece was in the attic by herself for a half an hour by herself.
- 29:58SPEAKER_00: And her first time investigation ever.
- 30:00SPEAKER_00: First time.
- 30:01SPEAKER_00: So those are important.
- 30:02SPEAKER_00: I mean, they're very important during investigations.
- 30:06SPEAKER_00: I did a few of them tonight, two or three, so those videos will be out.
- 30:10SPEAKER_00: I don't know if I got anything.
- 30:12SPEAKER_00: But who cares?
- 30:14SPEAKER_00: They were fun.
- 30:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I get to spend some time, quality time by myself.
- 30:17SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 30:17SPEAKER_02: And you love that, even though you're such a social butterfly.
- 30:19SPEAKER_00: I am a social butterfly.
- 30:21SPEAKER_02: So uh with that, um, I'll say my final few things.
- 30:24SPEAKER_02: Daniel, thanks for coming on your first uh trip.
- 30:27SPEAKER_02: This was a little birthday surprise for you.
- 30:30SPEAKER_02: Uh we talked about our merch, and Ryan's gonna take off like he does with letting you know everywhere you can reach us.

- 30:51SPEAKER_01: TikTok, TikTok, TikTok.
- 30:53SPEAKER_02: So hopefully we get more to you.
- 30:55SPEAKER_02: Daniel, uh, when we do our next episode of Beyond the Bourbon, uh we have a conversation.
- 31:01SPEAKER_02: What's that?
- 31:02SPEAKER_02: Beyond the bourbon.
- 31:03SPEAKER_02: Beyond the bourbon.
- 31:04SPEAKER_02: Uh we can patch you in on a phone call.
- 31:07SPEAKER_01: Oh, that'd be great.
- 31:08SPEAKER_02: So after we get all the investigation done and Ryan's able to put everything together, we'll bring you in on the call and go over the evidence and get your feelings on it.
