- 1:49Speaker 1: I ordered it like a cheese and sausage breakfast sandwich.
- 1:52Speaker 1: They want it.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Oh, I just came in appreciate it, but.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I think I'm good. Thank you man. I just don't
- 1:58Speaker 1: want it.
- 1:58Speaker 6: Why are you giving it away?
- 2:00Speaker 1: Because it's like ten a night, lunch early and I
- 2:04Speaker 1: wasn't feeling great to order something now, I don't need it, Mike,
- 2:08Speaker 1: you don't need it, don't need meet Huh, I'm good.
- 2:09Speaker 1: You don't want it. It's fresh. I'm good.
- 2:11Speaker 6: Thank you. No you might have Oh no, I'm good.
- 2:13Speaker 6: I already had my breakfast.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Here we go, thank you. A couple of things. And
- 2:19Speaker 1: Eddie and were just talking about this off the air,
- 2:21Speaker 1: but we had him on the show a few weeks ago.
- 2:23Speaker 1: But Joey g who now works with the Fever and
- 2:26Speaker 1: the Pacers, he was working for the NBA and so
- 2:30Speaker 1: in Vegas this past weekend, I had I met him
- 2:33Speaker 1: for like breakfast lunch type thing. We didn't have any
- 2:35Speaker 1: cheat him sausage cheese there. And he was like, Hey,
- 2:41Speaker 1: if you want to come to the Fever playoff game,
- 2:44Speaker 1: let me know come up. And so the Fever in
- 2:46Speaker 1: a three game series right now. WNBA first round is
- 2:50Speaker 1: three game right. So they lost to the Sun game
- 2:54Speaker 1: one in Connecticut, and they played the second game in
- 2:57Speaker 1: Connecticut maybe tomorrow, maybe later this week, I'm not sure,
- 3:02Speaker 1: but game three would be Friday. But they have to
- 3:05Speaker 1: win game two for them to be a game three.
- 3:07Speaker 1: So if they win, you're gone. I'm gonna go nice nice.
- 3:11Speaker 3: This is it is your dream come true? You love
- 3:13Speaker 3: Caitlin Clark get a game.
- 3:15Speaker 1: It's not my dream come true, but it would be
- 3:16Speaker 1: fun to do.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Okay, your your your most recent dream.
- 3:19Speaker 1: No, might just say it'd be fun to do, but
- 3:21Speaker 1: it's not really a dream come true to go to
- 3:23Speaker 1: a playoff game Wednesday, Wednesday's game two, Wednesday's Game two,
- 3:27Speaker 1: and then Friday would be game three.
- 3:28Speaker 6: Friday would be game three.
- 3:29Speaker 1: So yeah, he's like, hey, come come. I was like, ah,
- 3:32Speaker 1: iwas get weird when people invite me into my face
- 3:35Speaker 1: to things, I feel like they have to. But he
- 3:37Speaker 1: brought it up. I didn't bring it up. And then
- 3:39Speaker 1: I was like, if you invite me after we leave
- 3:41Speaker 1: here when you don't have to. Again, he was like, hey,
- 3:44Speaker 1: just come to the game. I'll get your set up.
- 3:46Speaker 1: So if they win, I hope to god they win,
- 3:47Speaker 1: they'd be fun, super fun to go to. It'd be awesome.
- 3:50Speaker 5: I'll go.
- 3:50Speaker 1: They said I could bring somebody, so so dude thought,
- 3:55Speaker 1: I don't what's up. I don't know how I'm gonna
- 3:58Speaker 1: bring bet, but your wife not I want to go
- 3:59Speaker 1: to that? I don't know, probably not.
- 4:02Speaker 3: You should ask her before you try to think about
- 4:04Speaker 3: who else you could take.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Or I could be like, hey, we're going to go
- 4:07Speaker 1: up and do some No, no, you're.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Crazy, dude. But but like, look, and even if you
- 4:13Speaker 3: think that you're wife, I know you think that, and
- 4:15Speaker 3: you're probably right. But if I ever assumed that my
- 4:18Speaker 3: wife didn't want to go to something and I didn't
- 4:20Speaker 3: invite her, she'd be upset.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Yeah, but I assume all the time now because she
- 4:23Speaker 1: never wants to go to anything sports related. Yeah, okay,
- 4:24Speaker 1: I very very very very rarely.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Well, I will turn this around on you.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Then.
- 4:28Speaker 3: I always assume that you don't want to do what
- 4:30Speaker 3: we're doing, but then we don't invite you.
- 4:31Speaker 1: You're like, yeah, But the difference is if I'm like, hey,
- 4:34Speaker 1: do you want to go to whatever game? She's like,
- 4:36Speaker 1: why'd you even ask me that? You know I didn't
- 4:37Speaker 1: want to go? Oh so that's tough. Okay, Hey, I've
- 4:41Speaker 1: been married with my wife.
- 4:42Speaker 3: It's true. I'm not married to your wife, that's right.
- 4:46Speaker 1: But they have to win game two and they got
- 4:48Speaker 1: to be pretty yeah, pretty soundly. Yeah, game one, there's
- 4:53Speaker 1: read yo, yo're not late. We just started before you
- 4:55Speaker 1: want to sausage. I just just ordered this sausage egg
- 4:59Speaker 1: and sheese sandwich. I would freaking love it. Oh are
- 5:04Speaker 1: you hungry? Yeah, it's from Elegy. It's fresh, just got here.
- 5:12Speaker 1: So you knew Read it would show up course Read
- 5:15Speaker 1: in Vegas, so he flew back at the same time
- 5:20Speaker 1: we did. And I would talk to people that would go, hey,
- 5:24Speaker 1: I saw your digital guy.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Different reports, where would they see.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Tables gambling, sometimes by himself. We have just introduced Read
- 5:33Speaker 1: to gambling in the past, and then one year one
- 5:36Speaker 1: year anniversary, Read it never really gambled, and since then
- 5:38Speaker 1: he had a real hot shot at craps. His first time.
- 5:41Speaker 1: He was obsessed. We went and I did a show
- 5:43Speaker 1: in Tulsa at a casino and Read gambled at a
- 5:46Speaker 1: casino and want a bunch of money. That's a slot machine?
- 5:48Speaker 1: A slot machine. Yeah, it was a slot machine. Yeah,
- 5:49Speaker 1: I just put fifty bucks in and then seven hundred
- 5:52Speaker 1: came out. That's crazy, it's fun, and so yeah, people
- 5:56Speaker 1: would be like one guy came up to me and said, hey,
- 5:58Speaker 1: I saw your digital guy. He was sending it a
- 6:00Speaker 1: black jack. I've never played back jack with Read. I've
- 6:01Speaker 1: never seen replay bla jack even tho if you could play.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I don't see myself playing it either. Reads it. They
- 6:06Speaker 1: said he had just money piled up everywhere, a big
- 6:09Speaker 1: stack of chips. And I said, well, that could be
- 6:12Speaker 1: really good or really bad, really good if you had
- 6:14Speaker 1: won it all really bad if that's what he got
- 6:15Speaker 1: out of the ATM and stacked it all up. And
- 6:18Speaker 1: so going into the final night, you were down a bit. Yeah,
- 6:21Speaker 1: I was down just a little bit, just a little bit,
- 6:26Speaker 1: but hey, I ended up. He handed up even, all right, Okay,
- 6:30Speaker 1: it was that's a win in Vegas.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Absolutely end of the weekend, he was even.
- 6:33Speaker 1: That's what he said. Good technically I'm up like twenty
- 6:36Speaker 1: three bucks, but oh no, no, that's not that's real.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Then you're up. Okay, I'll take it. There's no if
- 6:42Speaker 1: you're up one dollar, you're win gambling. You're up. You
- 6:45Speaker 1: finished up a buck, all right. Anytime I gambled with
- 6:48Speaker 1: Reeve won at a decent. I never went to gamble.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And the only time I ever gambled was if I
- 6:54Speaker 1: was twenty minutes early somewhere, we'd be in the casino.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I won like four thousand dollars. That's awesome, maybe thirty
- 7:00Speaker 1: six hundred I did, I said, at a slot machine.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I didn't even know how to play the game. I
- 7:03Speaker 1: was just waiting for something like I mean, I didn't
- 7:05Speaker 1: know what it's like, all these like treasure chests and
- 7:09Speaker 1: letters and dog bones and was all this. And so
- 7:12Speaker 1: I hit the button. I put in like sixty bucks
- 7:15Speaker 1: and I won six hundred liked so and I'm like wow,
- 7:19Speaker 1: And I don't know what the next button I hit was.
- 7:21Speaker 1: But the next button I hit bet everything I just
- 7:23Speaker 1: won and one bet.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Oh that's the double down button.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Whatever the button was, I wish I would have never
- 7:28Speaker 1: seen it, because I hit for like six hundred bucks
- 7:30Speaker 1: and lost it all on one spin, which I didn't
- 7:31Speaker 1: even know they got me because I was just hitting
- 7:34Speaker 1: it just to go, just to move time. But I
- 7:36Speaker 1: waiting close four thousand dollars and I wasn't playing like
- 7:38Speaker 1: with the betting a ton of money. I just had
- 7:41Speaker 1: three or four good runs one crabs table reading I
- 7:44Speaker 1: were at, I mean, I lost a ton until the
- 7:49Speaker 1: last roll and someone just was hot for a long
- 7:51Speaker 1: time and I ended up walking away. I think I
- 7:55Speaker 1: started with five hundred bucks ended up walking over with
- 7:57Speaker 1: twenty six hundred dollars. Oh my god, because of one
- 7:59Speaker 1: person rolling.
- 8:00Speaker 3: That was that Saturday night.
- 8:01Speaker 1: No, I think it was Friday. Yeah, it was Friday night.
- 8:03Speaker 3: I got a text from Reid said, did you got
- 8:04Speaker 3: to come This guy's been rolling for forty five minutes,
- 8:06Speaker 3: and like that's a long time.
- 8:07Speaker 1: It's a long time. Wow. You never want to go
- 8:12Speaker 1: down because someone tells you to come down, because by
- 8:14Speaker 1: the time you get down, it all over.
- 8:15Speaker 5: I wasn't.
- 8:15Speaker 3: I wasn't even in my room. I was at the festival. Still,
- 8:18Speaker 3: I'm not going to go over there.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Did you leave the festival early to go gamble? Ah? Yeah,
- 8:22Speaker 1: usually when you left, that's when I left. Well, so
- 8:24Speaker 1: I would leave after I was done and go to bed.
- 8:26Speaker 1: I have to somewhat keep my body on track to
- 8:28Speaker 1: the radio show, so I would not stay out late.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Heck night one Thursday night went about a seven pm
- 8:32Speaker 1: smart Yeah, And so then next time I went to
- 8:35Speaker 1: bed at like nine forty five, and then like nine
- 8:38Speaker 1: or ten the next night. But then Reid would just
- 8:41Speaker 1: go gamble by himself. I'm over that gambling by myself stage.
- 8:45Speaker 1: There was a time where I would do that, but
- 8:47Speaker 1: it's like now I don't even like to gamble anymore.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I was doing it just past the time, and had
- 8:52Speaker 1: I lost early, I would have been done. I wouldn't
- 8:54Speaker 1: have played it anymore. But because I hit kind of
- 8:56Speaker 1: early for like five hundred bucks, six hundred bucks, yeah,
- 8:58Speaker 1: I just was like, I'm playing with house moneyway, So
- 9:01Speaker 1: I ended up coming away about four though. I think
- 9:03Speaker 1: I lost a couple hundred bucks in the slot machine
- 9:05Speaker 1: at the airport, which I'm never I'm not sure if
- 9:06Speaker 1: those things even paid out because there's really nobody there
- 9:09Speaker 1: to ever watch and see because everybody's just on in
- 9:11Speaker 1: and out, so I don't no getting back to bring
- 9:14Speaker 1: him a coffee. Kaitlin was like, oh, he said the
- 9:17Speaker 1: slots over there. I was like, oh, of course. I
- 9:19Speaker 1: did bet Arkansas plus two and a half. I bet
- 9:21Speaker 1: fifteen hundred bucks. I put it up on fifred bucks
- 9:24Speaker 1: on that, so I won like thirteen hundred on that.
- 9:29Speaker 1: I bet on plus two and a half and obviously
- 9:31Speaker 1: you don't get all that you put in. Yeah, So
- 9:34Speaker 1: I bet that at the casino, but didn't do a
- 9:37Speaker 1: lot of betting because you can't really do draft kings
- 9:39Speaker 1: there because different people have Vegas is weird about they
- 9:42Speaker 1: don't allow you apping it. Yeah, So other than that,
- 9:45Speaker 1: I bet some NFL yesterday. I bet the Cowboys what
- 9:48Speaker 1: a dude? Which is a couple things, And I think
- 9:51Speaker 1: we can start with just this Eddie talking about the Cowboys.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Hold on, I saw Dak and City fighting on the sideline.
- 9:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I think I think CD has just
- 9:59Speaker 3: got a bad attitude right now. Like it's just during
- 10:02Speaker 3: the whole game, he just looked like in a bad attitude.
- 10:04Speaker 1: But he also wasn't getting the ball, and when it
- 10:06Speaker 1: would come to him, the passes were awful.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Right, And did you see like they would show him
- 10:11Speaker 3: too in his routes like he wasn't open. He was
- 10:12Speaker 3: never open, So there's a good reason why the ball
- 10:15Speaker 3: didn't go away.
- 10:15Speaker 1: So it feels like you are pro Dak anti CD.
- 10:19Speaker 3: I'm not anti CD. I'm anti CD's bad, bad personality,
- 10:23Speaker 3: bad behavior.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Yes, I don't think it's new. I think it's not. Yeah.
- 10:27Speaker 1: I think you did it that in the playoff game
- 10:29Speaker 1: last year too. Yeah, and it's.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Obvious too, because like there were some passes that he
- 10:32Speaker 3: dropped where he normally wouldn't drop. Well, yeah, that's because
- 10:34Speaker 3: you're in a bad mood.
- 10:35Speaker 1: You also want your receivers to be debat esque because
- 10:40Speaker 1: you have to have you have to be out of
- 10:43Speaker 1: your mind to be a really great wide receiver has
- 10:44Speaker 1: such confidence delusion. Even you want your wide receiver to
- 10:47Speaker 1: be delusional.
- 10:48Speaker 3: Yeah, but then when they actually throw you the ball,
- 10:50Speaker 3: you should catch it, though.
- 10:51Speaker 1: So are you saying CD can't catch? No, it's no.
- 10:53Speaker 3: I think when his mind's like in that zone.
- 10:55Speaker 1: And now you're a therapist, I mean, I think it's
- 10:58Speaker 1: just human nature when you watch the game. Yeah, thoughts,
- 11:00Speaker 1: I'm pro CD lam I think Dak was throwing that
- 11:03Speaker 1: was on terrible. I agree, and I think that's why
- 11:05Speaker 1: CD was frustrated. I agree, And I'm not a fan,
- 11:08Speaker 1: so I'm not coming from a bias like Eddie is.
- 11:12Speaker 3: I just see how two people are behaving one okay,
- 11:15Speaker 3: and you do have a PhD in therapy a quarterback, Yeah,
- 11:18Speaker 3: and every quarterback is not going to throw one hundred
- 11:20Speaker 3: percent every time. I get that. Your attitude, though, you
- 11:22Speaker 3: can change that. And if you if you have a
- 11:25Speaker 3: bad attitude, they'll change the whole attitude of your team.
- 11:27Speaker 1: What are you talking about, You've been a coach.
- 11:29Speaker 3: I've been a coach. My ten year old basketball.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Ten year old is probably great for them.
- 11:33Speaker 3: That's right, And if I saw one with a bad attitude,
- 11:35Speaker 3: you're sitting.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Down, okay, and you go sit CD. No, Yeah, I
- 11:40Speaker 1: wouldn't do that. They almost came back and won it.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I just stopped him on either of those last two series.
- 11:46Speaker 1: I mean they had two opportunities. One way they were
- 11:49Speaker 1: calling all the timeouts and then two they would have
- 11:51Speaker 1: got the ball back. But then Lamar, Yeah took that
- 11:54Speaker 1: up the middle.
- 11:55Speaker 3: And we're sitting here talking about Dak and CD. But
- 11:58Speaker 3: I think like the big problem with the Cowboys is
- 12:00Speaker 3: the defense like it which is crazy because after week
- 12:02Speaker 3: one you're like, oh, we got a great defense, but
- 12:05Speaker 3: it just seems like the size isn't even there every
- 12:07Speaker 3: time like anyone. Like when Derek Hendry ran the ball,
- 12:10Speaker 3: it was three little guys trying to tackle him.
- 12:13Speaker 1: So linebackers are a lot smaller now because they have
- 12:15Speaker 1: to cover more more of these guys playing receiver more slots.
- 12:21Speaker 6: Yeah, it hurt a little bit more watching Derrick Henry
- 12:23Speaker 6: run all over you because you guys wanted him, and
- 12:26Speaker 6: you guys have nobody.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I didn't even think about that. We don't have a
- 12:29Speaker 1: running game though.
- 12:29Speaker 6: Is that nobody?
- 12:30Speaker 1: So frustrating? I don't know.
- 12:33Speaker 3: No, we have three, we have running backs, the bodies, guys,
- 12:37Speaker 3: they're there.
- 12:38Speaker 1: That's a tough It wasn't that that tough of a loss?
- 12:41Speaker 1: I bet I didn't bet a bunch of about fi
- 12:43Speaker 1: hundred bucks on it. That would ruin my year. I
- 12:46Speaker 1: won four thousand Vegas, so I was all right. But
- 12:49Speaker 1: Baltimore's good and they were due. They were owing to.
- 12:51Speaker 3: They needed that win, I think more than the Cowboys did.
- 12:54Speaker 3: But that was I mean, I did like the little
- 12:56Speaker 3: light of hope in the fourth quarter. Watching him play
- 12:58Speaker 3: like that like that was exciting and good to see
- 13:01Speaker 3: two minute offense they were on. Maybe we just do
- 13:03Speaker 3: two minute offense the whole game.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Saints won again and Vikings wanted Saints loss. I think
- 13:09Speaker 1: Steelers Steelers. Steelers and Vikings are the two undefeated teams.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Seahawks too, but you can think of three. And oh
- 13:15Speaker 1: also they must have won after I met my note
- 13:18Speaker 1: came good? Was that game the afternoon game? Yeah? Well
- 13:21Speaker 1: against Miami?
- 13:22Speaker 6: Yeah Miami, they have to go down back.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Yeah, they had like boy who was their second one
- 13:27Speaker 1: quarterback that.
- 13:27Speaker 6: Came in, Tim Boyle. I didn't even know he's still around.
- 13:30Speaker 7: Why did he either come in sky little Tom Ribs
- 13:34Speaker 7: cave in or something, and also wasn't playing well either.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Yeah, they got to get a quarterback. Then he tried
- 13:40Speaker 1: for bry Shawn.
- 13:40Speaker 6: Yeah, they were trying for hill Mary at the end
- 13:42Speaker 6: of the first half and they tried twice. He was
- 13:45Speaker 6: just back there for like twenty seconds full time, and
- 13:47Speaker 6: they got nothing other than him just getting sacked.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Hey, how about speaking of hell Mary's about Colorado's hell
- 13:51Speaker 1: Mary to beat Yeah, that was wild. That didn't beat him,
- 13:53Speaker 1: but it tied. They missed the hill Mary the play
- 13:56Speaker 1: right before the play, and I don't know that had
- 13:59Speaker 1: he caught the ball, he wud have actually gotten the
- 14:00Speaker 1: end zone.
- 14:01Speaker 6: I don't think you would have.
- 14:01Speaker 1: So it was a fortunate drop. Then shouldre rolls left
- 14:06Speaker 1: chunks touchdown. Travis Hunter makes the tackle in overtime, running
- 14:12Speaker 1: back fumbledoble. Yeah, yeah, it's awesome. Yeah, they're three and
- 14:15Speaker 1: one now. Remember two years ago Colorado was basically the
- 14:18Speaker 1: worst team in Division one football. Yes, but three and
- 14:21Speaker 1: one now. I am biased because I like Dean a lot,
- 14:25Speaker 1: but say what you will. They just they haven't been
- 14:29Speaker 1: three and one in I think it's eighteen seventy in Colorado.
- 14:36Speaker 1: But that was that was a pretty pretty cool game.
- 14:38Speaker 1: We had our parley. By the way, I said, Arkansas
- 14:41Speaker 1: money line, which they were giving up. You know, they
- 14:45Speaker 1: were getting a couple of point. Yeah, I said about
- 14:47Speaker 1: the money line, Florida money line, Utah money line, and
- 14:51Speaker 1: we hit that. So that's pretty good. We like that,
- 14:53Speaker 1: all right, we under tittle title, let's do it, let's get.
- 14:55Speaker 6: It, name.
- 15:00Speaker 1: The tandle tattle.
- 15:05Speaker 6: As the only man to hit fifty home runs and
- 15:07Speaker 6: steal fifty bases in a season. Do you think the
- 15:09Speaker 6: sports world isn't talking about Otawny's record enough that night?
- 15:13Speaker 1: And again, I didn't watch it as it happened. I
- 15:16Speaker 1: watched all the clips as it was happening. We were working. Yeah,
- 15:19Speaker 1: so it's not like I watched the game. But he
- 15:22Speaker 1: went six for six. He would have hit for the
- 15:25Speaker 1: cycle had he not been thrown out at third that
- 15:29Speaker 1: I was considered a double. But he went six for six,
- 15:31Speaker 1: two stone basis, three home runs, ten RBIs is awesome.
- 15:34Speaker 1: I mean, it's probably the greatest game ever. That really
- 15:37Speaker 1: isn't a stat that Major League Baseball keeps like, who
- 15:40Speaker 1: had the single greatest game ever? Now I've seen people
- 15:43Speaker 1: like pull up games. But it's not only was it that.
- 15:46Speaker 1: There were a few things that happened during this game.
- 15:48Speaker 1: First of all, to go fifty to fifty. Now it's fifty
- 15:50Speaker 1: one to fifty one, fifty whatever he is at now.
- 15:52Speaker 1: But a few things happened. One, he went fifty to
- 15:55Speaker 1: fifty two, they made the playoff. They clinched the playoff
- 16:01Speaker 1: with the win there, so that was a big game.
- 16:04Speaker 1: And then three, and I remember the third thing. But
- 16:06Speaker 1: I remember thinking that's pretty cool. I think they are
- 16:10Speaker 1: making a big deal about it. I mean, nobody cares
- 16:11Speaker 1: about baseball. And I say that as somebody who kind
- 16:13Speaker 1: of cares about baseball. Yeah, I don't care, and I
- 16:15Speaker 1: know about it. Yeah, nobody cares about baseball. I think
- 16:16Speaker 1: they're doing a great job. The hardest part about baseball
- 16:19Speaker 1: is there are nine people on the field and Otani
- 16:24Speaker 1: isn't even one of the nine because he's the designated hitter.
- 16:27Speaker 1: So unless it's the one, unless it's one ninth of
- 16:32Speaker 1: the half, so you're looking at one eighteenth. That's the
- 16:35Speaker 1: only time he's on the field.
- 16:37Speaker 3: And why is he not pitching?
- 16:38Speaker 1: Are he hurt hisself?
- 16:39Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 16:40Speaker 1: Tell me John, Yeah, he'll push next year and then
- 16:41Speaker 1: he does this, he's finally the ballpen a little bit.
- 16:45Speaker 1: But I think what's hard about having a baseball player
- 16:47Speaker 1: that is really amazing is he's they don't They're not
- 16:50Speaker 1: a part of it a whole lot. They're not a
- 16:51Speaker 1: camera a whole lot where if you have a quarterback,
- 16:53Speaker 1: a running back, wide receiver, like they're getting the ball.
- 16:57Speaker 1: So I think that's the difficult part about getting people
- 17:00Speaker 1: invested in baseball if they're young. The superstar culture is
- 17:03Speaker 1: tough because the superstars aren't the focus for long enough.
- 17:07Speaker 1: A game like the Ronaldacona Junior is like making great
- 17:10Speaker 1: plays occasionally and he's hit, but again he's just not
- 17:14Speaker 1: on camera enough. Where basketball there's five guys and the
- 17:19Speaker 1: camera is always on all five of them, offense and defense.
- 17:21Speaker 1: They're always in the shot. If they're a score football,
- 17:25Speaker 1: the quarterbacks, the wide receivers, the running backs like they're
- 17:28Speaker 1: getting the ball. So I think it's pretty cool. I
- 17:31Speaker 1: don't know there's only two players that ever have fifty
- 17:34Speaker 1: and fifty but not the same He's the first ever
- 17:36Speaker 1: in the same season, but I think ever in the
- 17:39Speaker 1: history of baseball, there's like two people ever that have
- 17:42Speaker 1: had fifty solen bases and fifty home runs in separate seasons,
- 17:44Speaker 1: and one is Barry Bonds, and one is the oriole
- 17:48Speaker 1: Brady Anderson. Now Rooken never hit that many home runs.
- 17:52Speaker 6: To say, yeah, or did he ever steal that many bases?
- 17:54Speaker 1: No, definitely not. But Otani's making people care he is,
- 18:00Speaker 1: and I feel like unbelievable, Like I feel like he
- 18:02Speaker 1: sees the ball in a way that I know I
- 18:05Speaker 1: can't understand them. But also like this is just my
- 18:09Speaker 1: opinion here. My opinion is there is zero percent chance
- 18:12Speaker 1: that he had nothing to do with all the betting.
- 18:14Speaker 6: Doesn't it seem like a lifetime ago?
- 18:16Speaker 1: It does, Like you're gonna tell me his interpreter, No, man,
- 18:20Speaker 1: he took them for the team big time, and he'll
- 18:22Speaker 1: probably be taken care of forever, exactly. And there's a
- 18:25Speaker 1: reason that Baseball was covering that. If they were, and
- 18:28Speaker 1: they have been through many investigations, they've been cleared in
- 18:31Speaker 1: every way. Hmm.
- 18:34Speaker 6: We haven't heard a peep about it a long time.
- 18:37Speaker 3: But if I were that translate translator or whatever I mean,
- 18:40Speaker 3: that interpret that'd be great, man, Like, all right, I
- 18:43Speaker 3: just don't work it. Now, you take care for the
- 18:44Speaker 3: rest of my go to prison.
- 18:45Speaker 1: If you go to jail, is he going to jail?
- 18:47Speaker 3: I could, yeah, oh and I don't like that.
- 18:54Speaker 1: He'd be taking care of But would you go to
- 18:55Speaker 1: jail for a year for ten million dollars? Dude?
- 18:58Speaker 3: Do you know how much a year? Like a year
- 19:00Speaker 3: is a long time?
- 19:01Speaker 1: Do you know much? Ten million dollars? Oh yeah, a
- 19:03Speaker 1: lot of money, a lot of money.
- 19:04Speaker 3: But a year in the Slammer, like I thought about,
- 19:06Speaker 3: like I thought about, like you know, you see a
- 19:08Speaker 3: sentence like, oh, three to four months, like that's not bad. No,
- 19:12Speaker 3: Like you think about this month alone. It feels like
- 19:14Speaker 3: a long time when it was like September one or
- 19:17Speaker 3: August first, like.
- 19:17Speaker 1: That was a long time ago. I think ten million dollars.
- 19:20Speaker 1: And then also if the plea is he goes to
- 19:24Speaker 1: one of those prisons, aren't like the Slammer, Oh oh,
- 19:27Speaker 1: like the white collar Yeah, because again you're it's financial crimes.
- 19:31Speaker 6: Oh yeah, that's true.
- 19:33Speaker 1: But but I think I would do it.
- 19:34Speaker 3: But there's still lonely dudes in there though, right.
- 19:36Speaker 1: But I'm not. You're just thinking worried about some dude.
- 19:39Speaker 1: That's the only thing dropping the soap that you won,
- 19:41Speaker 1: but I don't think it's the same. I think you're
- 19:42Speaker 1: thinking of like oz, like the prison show on HBO
- 19:45Speaker 1: or right.
- 19:47Speaker 3: But even if it looks like a Hilton, there's still
- 19:49Speaker 3: lonely dudes in there.
- 19:50Speaker 1: What's your session on lonely dudes?
- 19:51Speaker 3: Oyah, that's the scariest part about prison man.
- 19:55Speaker 1: People. I think I go for ten million if I
- 19:57Speaker 1: get putting one of those nice prisons for a year. Yeah,
- 20:01Speaker 1: you're gonna have made someone's wife. Dude, we're living out
- 20:05Speaker 1: your fantasy right.
- 20:07Speaker 6: Next up, which road win impressed the most over the
- 20:10Speaker 6: weekend Tennessee at Oklahoma, Utah at Oklahoma State, or Illinois
- 20:14Speaker 6: at Nebraska.
- 20:15Speaker 1: You know, Illinois wins in overtime and their quarterback Altmeyer,
- 20:18Speaker 1: the kid who transferred from.
- 20:20Speaker 6: Oh Miss, Oh Miss.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, because Jackson Dark got the starting job he played.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I mean, Brett Bielama is in the perfect place for him. Yeah,
- 20:29Speaker 1: in a conference where his stuff. I like Brett Bielama.
- 20:31Speaker 1: He was the head coach at Arkansas. He's been on
- 20:32Speaker 1: this show. Like, I'm a big Beelama guy. Illinois. That
- 20:36Speaker 1: win was great because Nebraska had a bunch of heat,
- 20:40Speaker 1: so I'm rooting for them. They're in a that's exciting.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know if they can win
- 20:46Speaker 1: the conference because that's a pretty tough conference. But that's
- 20:49Speaker 1: perfect for that conference, especially in winter time when it
- 20:52Speaker 1: gets cold, and they're just just a bunch of fat
- 20:54Speaker 1: boys playing strong, fat boy football, Like we like that.
- 20:57Speaker 1: The Tennessee game, I tell you was Tennessee slowed down
- 21:05Speaker 1: at the end, I think, and I'm not going to
- 21:08Speaker 1: say this to my family, because they were pretty upset.
- 21:10Speaker 1: They went to the game. My father in law went
- 21:12Speaker 1: to the game and I was only able to watch
- 21:14Speaker 1: parts of it because we were in like the bowels
- 21:16Speaker 1: of the arena in Vegas and I couldn't get good internet,
- 21:18Speaker 1: and I would watch a little here and there, and
- 21:20Speaker 1: then I saw that Jackson Arnold, their quarterback, was out
- 21:23Speaker 1: of the game. I don't know if he was hurt,
- 21:24Speaker 1: and so I really wanted to know, so I would
- 21:25Speaker 1: text him and be like, hey, what happened to Jackson Arnold?
- 21:29Speaker 1: And I don't again, I don't know if he was hurt.
- 21:30Speaker 1: And the game was it was like nine to three
- 21:32Speaker 1: for a while, twelve to three, so the game was
- 21:34Speaker 1: still happening, and he was like, no, he just sucked.
- 21:36Speaker 1: He didn't say sucked because he didn't talk like that,
- 21:38Speaker 1: but he was like he was your father in law. Yeah,
- 21:39Speaker 1: he was like he was struggling. They put the freshman
- 21:41Speaker 1: kid in. I think Tennessee could have actually beat them worse.
- 21:46Speaker 1: But that was really cool to see josh Iipeall go
- 21:49Speaker 1: back to like his school. His dad was crying. It
- 21:53Speaker 1: was a really cool scene. So that was a strong
- 21:59Speaker 1: Tennessee over a good Oklahoma defense. Olomb's offense like terrible,
- 22:04Speaker 1: but they haven't look good all year, but their defense they.
- 22:06Speaker 6: Looked good since well, I guess last year they ha
- 22:08Speaker 6: Dylan Gabriel, which was up and down.
- 22:10Speaker 1: But yeah, uh utah backup quarterback too, right, yeah, rising
- 22:16Speaker 1: out and and that score was way closer than it
- 22:19Speaker 1: was then excuse me, the score at the end of
- 22:22Speaker 1: the game was closer than the game actually was. Oklahoma
- 22:24Speaker 1: State scored at the end when it was already over.
- 22:27Speaker 1: I don't know all three of those are good, but
- 22:29Speaker 1: I would say probably the Tennessee at Oklahoma, Oklahoma's first
- 22:35Speaker 1: SEC game. They're hyped up. There really was no question
- 22:38Speaker 1: the whole game. But the Illinois game that was strong too.
- 22:42Speaker 6: All looked good. I mean, I know it's Nebraska. He's
- 22:44Speaker 6: on the watch. That was my first time watching him.
- 22:46Speaker 1: He can throw. I mean, oh, he can throw. And
- 22:49Speaker 1: he's like twelve. Is the Patty Mahomes freshman? Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 22:53Speaker 1: all right? Next up?
- 22:53Speaker 6: All right, NFL which surprising three to oh team do
- 22:56Speaker 6: you still think will be in the mix come January?
- 22:58Speaker 6: The Steelers, Vikings or c Hawks.
- 23:01Speaker 1: If it's going to be the Steelers, they are going
- 23:03Speaker 1: to have to play really fantastic defense, justin fields. He
- 23:07Speaker 1: played pretty well yesterday and made a couple of good
- 23:09Speaker 1: throws too, and not just five and six yard dinkers.
- 23:12Speaker 1: And again we're flying back. So I was flipping through
- 23:15Speaker 1: and getting bad internet. So the only game I got
- 23:16Speaker 1: to watch the full game of was the Cowboys game.
- 23:20Speaker 1: You watched the whole game most of it. I fell
- 23:23Speaker 1: asleep for a little bit of it. I was just exhausted
- 23:24Speaker 1: from the weekend, so I didn't get to invest as
- 23:26Speaker 1: much at watching like full full games. And I'll do
- 23:28Speaker 1: the multi screen because YouTube TV is the best. It's
- 23:31Speaker 1: the best. The Vikings actually look good. Yeah, they're killing
- 23:39Speaker 1: and they beat a really good team. They beat the Texans,
- 23:41Speaker 1: they beat the forty nine Ers before everybody the out. Yeah, yeah,
- 23:44Speaker 1: the Texans Giants suck, but and that doesn't really count.
- 23:47Speaker 1: But Daniel Jones actually pretty god yesterday. Didn't play me yesterday,
- 23:49Speaker 1: But Daniel Jones did not look terrible yesterday, which was crazy.
- 23:53Speaker 1: And the Seahawks beat the Broncos, the Patriots, and the Dolphins.
- 23:57Speaker 1: So I don't really feel like the Seahawks have had
- 23:58Speaker 1: to They don't have the sus that the other had.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Real I think the Seahawks can be good, but I
- 24:04Speaker 1: haven't really seen anything. I'm gonna put the Vikings there.
- 24:06Speaker 1: Did you know that Sam Darnold is younger than Joe Burrow? Crazy?
- 24:10Speaker 3: Oh, I didn't know that.
- 24:10Speaker 1: I saw that this morning. Wow, because he's just been
- 24:12Speaker 1: around longer and he's been in the news because he sucked.
- 24:16Speaker 1: But has he sucked or has he been in bad places?
- 24:19Speaker 1: Or did he suck and he actually now developed to
- 24:21Speaker 1: be a pretty decent quarterback or is he not even
- 24:23Speaker 1: real and he'll suck later? All these are questions. But
- 24:26Speaker 1: I think the Vikings are three games has shown us
- 24:29Speaker 1: that they can actually compete the Texas and the forty
- 24:32Speaker 1: nine Ers two good teams.
- 24:33Speaker 6: Yeah, they beat the crap out of the Texans.
- 24:34Speaker 1: It was never a game from what I saw, because
- 24:36Speaker 1: again I was falling asleep. Yeah, or maybe I was flying.
- 24:39Speaker 1: That's that's the noon game noon. Yeah, Okay, it was flying.
- 24:42Speaker 1: So it was like never a game, right, No, never,
- 24:45Speaker 1: because I have Stroud as my fantasy quarterback and he
- 24:48Speaker 1: just was never on. He had a few picks, didn't
- 24:50Speaker 1: he too? Okay, So anyway, I'm gonna go Vikings then Steelers. Now,
- 24:56Speaker 1: I'm still gonna go Vikings than Seahawks. I just feel
- 24:58Speaker 1: like the Seahawks are probably a better team, though they
- 25:00Speaker 1: haven't had to show it yet.
- 25:01Speaker 6: All Right, next up, last one whose early season redemption
- 25:03Speaker 6: redemption story are you enjoying the most?
- 25:05Speaker 1: It's Sam Donald? Right, It's gotta be Sam Donald because
- 25:09Speaker 1: he has sucked many times. Justin fields was fun because
- 25:12Speaker 1: that also could have been. You're looking at two quarterbacks
- 25:15Speaker 1: here who are in bad situations, even justin fields in Chicago.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Probably not the best situation for him. I mean, by
- 25:24Speaker 1: the way, Caleb secks, he's a rookie. Shit suck, Yeah,
- 25:27Speaker 1: he sucks, right, it's Ross rough. Malik Wallace won a
- 25:32Speaker 1: couple of games. Yeah, I'm a leak. Lake Green Bay
- 25:36Speaker 1: coming back to No. I don't want to bring Jordan
- 25:37Speaker 1: Love back until like he's ready. Ready, they can afford
- 25:39Speaker 1: to lose one, yeah, if they have to. Uh so
- 25:43Speaker 1: just stats here. Donald has six hundred fifty seven passing
- 25:46Speaker 1: yards and eight touchdowns. That's awesome. Yeah, not bad. Yeah,
- 25:50Speaker 1: I'm rooting for him. That's cool. I like to see
- 25:52Speaker 1: somebody who's been told you suck and then says, not
- 25:57Speaker 1: so fast, my friend. But Senday's ample Bryce Young. I
- 25:59Speaker 1: swear to God. Although the Panthers winn yesterday is pretty crazy,
- 26:02Speaker 1: I know, but still.
- 26:03Speaker 6: Dalton goes crazy crazy.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Somebody's gonna get Brice Young and make him like a quarterback.
- 26:08Speaker 1: I fully believe it. But look at Darnold and look
- 26:10Speaker 1: at Bake. Baker lost though. Yeah they did lose. That
- 26:14Speaker 1: not a good showing. And they lost to somebody should Broncos.
- 26:16Speaker 6: Oh they got to go.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Nicks look good for Hey, I'm one out of three
- 26:21Speaker 1: on my bone neck, I'm only one for three. But
- 26:23Speaker 1: bo Nicks. He looked really good, even running the ball
- 26:26Speaker 1: like he has an irrational confidence though that I like him,
- 26:30Speaker 1: even when he was like throwing picks early.
- 26:31Speaker 6: He just screw it, man, Let's go.
- 26:35Speaker 1: So yeah, I was pretty pumped about that bone neck
- 26:37Speaker 1: that Broncos. All right, there you go. That is the
- 26:39Speaker 1: tittle Tattle, get it name, it's the title tattle Again.
- 26:47Speaker 1: We would like to say to everybody, congratulations if you
- 26:49Speaker 1: bet our parlay Arkansas, Florida, Utah all money lines, and
- 26:53Speaker 1: we're pretty proud of that. We're one for three on
- 26:55Speaker 1: the parlays. But the parlays are hard because it's three games. Marlay. Yeah,
- 26:59Speaker 1: if we go one for three every time, I wonder
- 27:02Speaker 1: if we're in the money, like in the plus. That's
- 27:06Speaker 1: nothing you can figure out with your head right now.
- 27:09Speaker 3: I don't know those numbers.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Yeah, get on Draft Kings. There's also DraftKings Pick Sick,
- 27:14Speaker 1: which is so much fun. You pick a player and
- 27:17Speaker 1: choose if they'll have more or less of a stat
- 27:19Speaker 1: like if you're gonna do it tonight, for example, because
- 27:20Speaker 1: you can do it for tonight. If you hear this
- 27:22Speaker 1: before the Bengals play tonight and we got two games too,
- 27:26Speaker 1: that's right, the Bills two games tonight.
- 27:28Speaker 3: You're right, so we get it in early. As soon
- 27:30Speaker 3: as you hear this, get it in.
- 27:31Speaker 1: I was just thinking about the Bengals commanders. But that's right.
- 27:34Speaker 1: The Bills are playing the Jags, or the Jags if
- 27:37Speaker 1: they don't win. Oh, that's brutal trouble. It means I
- 27:43Speaker 1: was listening to someone. Maybe it was on Bill Simmons
- 27:48Speaker 1: podcast talking about how they think Belichick will be the
- 27:51Speaker 1: coach of the Jags next year. Wow. Really, he's having
- 27:54Speaker 1: too much fun? Girlfriend both. I thought you meant like, no,
- 27:59Speaker 1: like retire. No, he's never tired. I see him. He's
- 28:02Speaker 1: doing lots of television stuff. Yeah.
- 28:03Speaker 8: I think he's loving life right now. That coaching job
- 28:05Speaker 8: seems I don't disagree with that. But he's not retired.
- 28:09Speaker 8: Maybe he's retired from coaching coaching, got it? Joe Burrow
- 28:12Speaker 8: more or less than two sixty four point five passing yards.
- 28:15Speaker 8: I mean, naturally you would think more, but it's been
- 28:19Speaker 8: such a low output of just throwing the ball.
- 28:23Speaker 6: Doesn't Isn't Andy Dalton the only one with three hundred
- 28:25Speaker 6: so far?
- 28:26Speaker 1: Yeah, and he threw like three fifty. Then he throws
- 28:30Speaker 1: this week?
- 28:30Speaker 6: I mean, yeah, two, I had three over three hundred week.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Yeah, Jamar Chase more or less eighty one?
- 28:36Speaker 5: Ala?
- 28:36Speaker 1: Do you do it? Joe Burrow more or less than
- 28:38Speaker 1: two sixty four Let's go under. Jamar Chase more or
- 28:41Speaker 1: less eighty one receiving yards.
- 28:43Speaker 3: If I went under, Let's go under again.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Josh Allen more less than two hundred and thirty passing
- 28:48Speaker 1: yards versus Jaguars two thirty. Well, that's significantly I go.
- 28:51Speaker 3: I go over because because it sounds like a lot.
- 28:54Speaker 1: And it's go over. James Cooked more or less than
- 28:56Speaker 1: point five touchdowns versus.
- 28:58Speaker 3: The Jaguars two touchdowns.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Go over? You think you'll do two? Yeah? Yeah, he
- 29:02Speaker 1: has to do to get one. Yeah, that guy's good.
- 29:04Speaker 1: He is good. He's really good.
- 29:06Speaker 3: We have his cowboys have his brother. Who knows when
- 29:08Speaker 3: we're going to use that guy. Yeah, he's still in
- 29:10Speaker 3: the like the practice squad.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Really well, he doesn't get used just because his brother
- 29:15Speaker 1: James Cook though, No, but he was good so for
- 29:17Speaker 1: so many years out of Georgia. Right, Yes, somebody I
- 29:23Speaker 1: want to say yes. I want to say yes too.
- 29:25Speaker 1: I feel like he played it Georgia. Is that I'm
- 29:27Speaker 1: thinking of Swift?
- 29:29Speaker 6: DeAndre definitely did.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Yeah, Mike, you we let me know. I'll read this,

- 29:58Speaker 1: thank you. Okay, here's this. Bryce Young lost his girlfriend
- 30:03Speaker 1: the same week as he lost his starting job. Oh really,
- 30:07Speaker 1: why if yesterday's reporting is accurate, it's bro bible. A
- 30:11Speaker 1: bad week for Bryce Young got a whole lot worse.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Early last week, Young was benched by the Carolina Panthers
- 30:15Speaker 1: in favor of Andy Dalton. Then over the weekend, a
- 30:17Speaker 1: story broke saying that Young's apparent ex girlfriend, Myra Gordon,
- 30:23Speaker 1: broke up with them. Sources say the teen Trade Interest. Yeah,
- 30:28Speaker 1: oh yeah, so he got broke. The weird thing is
- 30:30Speaker 1: she had also dated, like other a bunch of other athletes.
- 30:34Speaker 1: I'd read Football Chase, but I'm saying, like, why would
- 30:37Speaker 1: you even want to date somebody? And if you're a
- 30:39Speaker 1: Bryce Young you can have anybody you want you're if
- 30:43Speaker 1: you're famous, or you have money, or you're an athlete,
- 30:48Speaker 1: the pool opens up in a way for the normal
- 30:51Speaker 1: person that you wouldn't have. Why would you want to
- 30:53Speaker 1: go and date somebody that dated a bunch of other athletes.
- 30:55Speaker 3: I'm thinking, like, if you're socially awkward, maybe Bryce is
- 31:00Speaker 3: like just a shy guy, right, because I mean he's
- 31:01Speaker 3: kind of a shy little bit and these girls are
- 31:04Speaker 3: the ones that come to you, you don't go to them.
- 31:07Speaker 3: And like, I feel like someone forward like that who
- 31:09Speaker 3: just dates football players would probably go to Bryce and
- 31:12Speaker 3: be like, hey, what's up?
- 31:13Speaker 1: But I feel like Brice is like a smart dude,
- 31:14Speaker 1: Like why would you want to be with somebody who's
- 31:17Speaker 1: but yeah. Myra Gordon had been spotted earlier in the
- 31:20Speaker 1: week at the Atlanta Falcons Philadelphia Eagles game with seventy
- 31:23Speaker 1: six or star Tyrese Maxie, So she's.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Already on good for him for who.
- 31:30Speaker 1: No, No for Bryce for escaping that got him interest,
- 31:35Speaker 1: he got no souris do say that several teams have
- 31:39Speaker 1: approached the Panthers for trade interest. The Panthers maintained they
- 31:42Speaker 1: have no interest in making a deal. They should make
- 31:43Speaker 1: a deal, Patther should trade them, especial if they're gonna
- 31:46Speaker 1: try to draft a quarterback. Yeah. And also if I'm
- 31:48Speaker 1: the Panthers, I don't want Andy Dalton winning. Yeah, Like
- 31:51Speaker 1: I'm putting you in so you don't win. It comes
- 31:55Speaker 1: out those with three fifty. No, man, Like, there's no
- 31:57Speaker 1: benefit in the Panthers winning more than game or two.
- 32:01Speaker 1: They need to act like they're trying, but you're gonna fall.
- 32:05Speaker 6: Canalys isn't gonna get fired in this first year.
- 32:07Speaker 1: No, not at all.
- 32:09Speaker 6: Actually, I don't know what temper.
- 32:10Speaker 1: That's true too, because you know last year Frank I
- 32:14Speaker 1: got fired before his first year was over.
- 32:16Speaker 3: Guys, I feel like Andy Daltin was playing when we
- 32:18Speaker 3: were in high school, Like definitely when I was in
- 32:20Speaker 3: high school.
- 32:21Speaker 1: I think you're thinking of Carson Palmer, just like red
- 32:24Speaker 1: haired quarterbacks, Like, yeah, he's been around for a while.
- 32:28Speaker 1: AJ Green on the Bengals, that was the time he's
- 32:30Speaker 1: been around for a while. Yeah, or excuse me, read
- 32:33Speaker 1: you did not start somebody on your fantasy team. That's
- 32:35Speaker 1: the ultimate, that's not bad. I just did not look
- 32:38Speaker 1: at it. We got to Vegas and I got distracted.
- 32:41Speaker 1: So this is Read's first year to play fantasy. That
- 32:44Speaker 1: is almost a league kickout able offense in a serious league,
- 32:50Speaker 1: if you like, forget, if somebody's out and they were
- 32:52Speaker 1: out and you didn't change it, that's almost a league
- 32:54Speaker 1: kickoutable offense because what that's doing is giving somebody else
- 32:57Speaker 1: an advantage to win because somebody's an idiot. Luckily he
- 33:00Speaker 1: was playing me, so I'll take it. Oh yeah, but
- 33:04Speaker 1: you can't not you can't. No, I know, I know
- 33:06Speaker 1: what your first year.
- 33:08Speaker 6: They have it easy now where you can just do
- 33:10Speaker 6: edit the quick lineup and they do it for you.
- 33:11Speaker 6: This is first year. Oh really yeah, Like you click
- 33:14Speaker 6: it and it just says like based on projections, it
- 33:16Speaker 6: plugs him in there for you.
- 33:17Speaker 1: That's cool unless yes, yes, yes, but if because I
- 33:20Speaker 1: think it was brown Philly, Yeah who was out?
- 33:24Speaker 6: Oh you played a he did?
- 33:26Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 33:29Speaker 3: And I'll be honest, like when you're in Vegas, like
- 33:31Speaker 3: you didn't know what time it is. I understand, it
- 33:33Speaker 3: doesn't matter. I understand, but I feel.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Like I had to change out because.
- 33:37Speaker 3: You've been playing for years. You know what you're doing.
- 33:39Speaker 1: That's why I'm telling him. And in the past there
- 33:41Speaker 1: will be a fine. There was one hundred dollars fine
- 33:42Speaker 1: if you start anybody that didn't play, because that's that's
- 33:46Speaker 1: just you not caring about the league. Yeah, you know who.
- 33:49Speaker 6: I'm going to lose again. I'm doing awful. But I
- 33:52Speaker 6: played Tom Lord. He did the same thing.
- 33:54Speaker 1: Really, I'm still going to lose. And he has no excuse,
- 33:57Speaker 1: like I didn't start Kenneth Walker the third he had
- 33:59Speaker 1: an Abbessue didn't play against Darberney played in his place.
- 34:01Speaker 1: There are people that I saw him was like, oh,
- 34:03Speaker 1: I'm not going to play them because they may not play,
- 34:05Speaker 1: and Reed did not. Reid started Brown. He got zero
- 34:08Speaker 1: point zero point zero yards receiving and a big oh
- 34:11Speaker 1: beside his name. I could have played Tony Pollard, I
- 34:14Speaker 1: mean he got There are a lot of players he
- 34:15Speaker 1: could have played six points. But you still have like
- 34:18Speaker 1: three that haven't played yet. But yes, you can't as
- 34:21Speaker 1: a new guy. I'm just telling you as a friend. Yeah,
- 34:24Speaker 1: you'll get kicked out of the league. I got it because
- 34:26Speaker 1: people will be like, you're an irresponsible leagueinger, whye putt
- 34:28Speaker 1: something in that doesn't care. Yeah, it's a free win
- 34:30Speaker 1: for people. It's fair. You see.
- 34:32Speaker 3: I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Right now, I'm up on Reid one oh five point
- 34:38Speaker 1: three to seventy seven point four. I have a ninety
- 34:41Speaker 1: two percent chance to win. I think I've played all
- 34:43Speaker 1: my players. He has one left and the player is
- 34:47Speaker 1: playing tonight. Oh wow, Sean Alexander. Really yeah, Adrian Peterson,
- 34:54Speaker 1: you know it's it's it's cooking buffalo. But he's gonna
- 34:57Speaker 1: have to score like thirty points, which he has.
- 35:00Speaker 5: That's possible.
- 35:00Speaker 6: He's getting two touchstones.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Right, Yeah?
- 35:02Speaker 3: Why why is ESPN now, Like, you know how they
- 35:05Speaker 3: do the matchups and they give the percentage of the
- 35:06Speaker 3: win percentage. They'll keep it at one even though the game's.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Over in case you get negative.
- 35:11Speaker 3: I understand, but thank you for giving them a little
- 35:14Speaker 3: bit of.
- 35:14Speaker 1: A I wont a championship on that. Once. I was
- 35:16Speaker 1: playing Scotty in the championship game and we were tied
- 35:23Speaker 1: going into the championship game and he had a player
- 35:27Speaker 1: to start. All they do is get one point and
- 35:28Speaker 1: he fumbled went minus two. I won the game. I
- 35:32Speaker 1: want the whole. I wont the whole Championship that was
- 35:34Speaker 1: corrected later? Was that corrected? Like? Uh no, that was
- 35:37Speaker 1: the actual that was the game.
- 35:38Speaker 3: But do you remember the days where they would give
- 35:40Speaker 3: you the score and they'd be like, oh, correction, Like
- 35:41Speaker 3: a day later, I gotned.
- 35:43Speaker 1: They'll still do corrections. Yeah, they'll still do corrections. That's
- 35:46Speaker 1: just because the stats get changed because they've corrected them
- 35:48Speaker 1: on the Monday or Tuesday. But I want a full
- 35:50Speaker 1: fantasy league on a minus two fumble. It was the
- 35:54Speaker 1: greatest victory ever. I thought it was over going into
- 35:56Speaker 1: the game. I had one percent chance winning. There's your
- 35:59Speaker 1: one percent. Had a one percent chance of winning because
- 36:02Speaker 1: all I had to do is get one point and
- 36:04Speaker 1: he may have even gotten ten yards rushing and still
- 36:07Speaker 1: fumbled and I won by one. Was so pissed. I'd
- 36:10Speaker 1: have been pissed too. That's like the altaic.
- 36:11Speaker 3: Yeah, that's why he's not in the league anymore.
- 36:13Speaker 1: That's the ultimate piech. Whenever you do you want good
- 36:16Speaker 1: news or bad news first, Eddie, let's go bad news.
- 36:19Speaker 1: No no, no, I'm not saying I have it for you.
- 36:20Speaker 1: I'm just saying in general.
- 36:21Speaker 3: Bad bad. I always want the worst first, and then
- 36:23Speaker 3: we'll end off on a good note.
- 36:25Speaker 1: So in your bad news sandwich, you want bad first
- 36:28Speaker 1: and good.
- 36:28Speaker 3: Give me the E and then wash it off with
- 36:30Speaker 3: like a milkshake.
- 36:30Speaker 1: Oh good. What if the bad news is so so
- 36:33Speaker 1: so much worse and the good news doesn't really like
- 36:35Speaker 1: clear it up?
- 36:36Speaker 3: Well, if I knew that beforehand, i'd probably go good
- 36:38Speaker 3: news first, but you never know before.
- 36:40Speaker 1: A vast majority of people prefer to receive the bad
- 36:42Speaker 1: news first to get out of the way. Many management
- 36:44Speaker 1: handbooks recommend these so called bad news sandwich strategy. Newsgivers
- 36:48Speaker 1: should hand out some good news, then the bad, then
- 36:53Speaker 1: the main good.
- 36:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:55Speaker 3: I mean ideally that sounds nice, like like, but you
- 36:59Speaker 3: never have two goods? Do you just make up the
- 37:01Speaker 3: last good?
- 37:02Speaker 1: Well, it can be something small.
- 37:03Speaker 3: It's if you something big, Okay, Hey cowboys one, that's cool.
- 37:06Speaker 1: Huh Yeah, like, hey, you've been doing a great job.
- 37:08Speaker 1: We've all been noticing. Also, yeah, you're gonna die tomorrow.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Also but also yeah, it's on this gift card. This
- 37:16Speaker 1: you got a gift card to Fridays here. I want
- 37:20Speaker 1: to play this with Ken Golden, who is the king
- 37:25Speaker 1: of collectibles that Netflix show and he has gold I
- 37:28Speaker 1: want to one. I bid it's I don't really win.
- 37:30Speaker 1: I'm falling for it. The tricks. If I say that
- 37:32Speaker 1: I got a Mickey Mandele signed ball was in Vegas,
- 37:34Speaker 1: you did, where is that thing? What's not here yet?
- 37:38Speaker 1: You bet? I bet on a Golden on the app?
- 37:39Speaker 3: Can you put that on the desk?
- 37:42Speaker 1: Like? I would be pretty cool? I don't know if
- 37:43Speaker 1: I want to. I mean, people haven't stolen anything yet,
- 37:45Speaker 1: but it would be the most valuable thing that I
- 37:47Speaker 1: probably just wouldn't leave up. You're right, You're right, so
- 37:50Speaker 1: probably not. But this is our talk. It's only like
- 37:53Speaker 1: ten minutes with Ken Golden, who again is the most
- 37:56Speaker 1: well known sports auctioneer. He has a show on Netflix
- 37:58Speaker 1: called King of Collectible, The gold In Touch and I
- 38:00Speaker 1: sold over one point thirty billion and memorabilia through his company,
- 38:03Speaker 1: Golden Auctions, thanks to Ken. Here he is Ken Golden.
- 38:06Speaker 4: So I love the show.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Huge, you guess all the time, big sports fan, big
- 38:12Speaker 1: memorabilia fan, big card fan, all of that. Yeah, So
- 38:15Speaker 1: I have like a lot of questions. I was watching
- 38:17Speaker 1: you with the the ten Mantle grade at ten and
- 38:21Speaker 1: yeah you open and I feel like I've seen you
- 38:23Speaker 1: look at a lot of cool things. Yeah, but I
- 38:26Speaker 1: feel like in your eyes. There was a certain twinkle
- 38:28Speaker 1: when you saw the perfectly graded Mickey Mantle Rookie ten.
- 38:31Speaker 9: Oh yeah, oh yeah. I mean, look, I've been doing
- 38:34Speaker 9: this my whole life.
- 38:35Speaker 5: I've been you know.
- 38:36Speaker 9: Collecting, you know, as a kid, just collecting cards, probably
- 38:40Speaker 9: since I was eight, you know, as a dealer buying
- 38:43Speaker 9: and selling since I was twelve. But when there and
- 38:46Speaker 9: so I've seen everything, you know, and people say, oh,
- 38:48Speaker 9: you don't get excited.
- 38:49Speaker 5: You don't get excited.
- 38:49Speaker 9: You know, there's certain things that you see that you
- 38:52Speaker 9: know the history behind, you know, how significant it is,
- 38:56Speaker 9: how rare it is, a nineteen fifty two tops SA
- 39:00Speaker 9: ten Mickey Mantle is one of those things. And of
- 39:03Speaker 9: course the card we pulled out next, which was the
- 39:06Speaker 9: p S A eight Gretzky Wagner with with that, you know,
- 39:10Speaker 9: amazing story behind the whole card, that was something else.
- 39:14Speaker 5: I just said, screw it.
- 39:15Speaker 9: You know, when we don't we go into these shows
- 39:17Speaker 9: and we we don't, you know, we don't know what's
- 39:19Speaker 9: gonna happen.
- 39:20Speaker 4: It's it's it's not scripted. And I just said, screw it.
- 39:23Speaker 9: I'm take a selfie and I gave him, gave him
- 39:25Speaker 9: my camera and said take a picture of me, and
- 39:28Speaker 9: and they left it in the episode.
- 39:31Speaker 1: It was really really cool to see you get excited.
- 39:33Speaker 1: I felt like there was genuine excitement there. Yeah, what
- 39:35Speaker 1: do you have in your collection that isn't valued millions
- 39:39Speaker 1: of dollars but you're you're in love with because you're
- 39:41Speaker 1: a massive fan. Because I'm sure people are like, what's
- 39:43Speaker 1: the most valuable thing you have? Not my question, it's like,
- 39:46Speaker 1: what do you love that may not even be the
- 39:47Speaker 1: most valuable thing you have?
- 39:49Speaker 9: So this is actually the funny thing is is that
- 39:52Speaker 9: Baron's is coming out with a story on me. I
- 39:54Speaker 9: don't know if it's tomorrow or next weekend. They asked me,
- 39:57Speaker 9: and I listed ten am, So I'm gonna pick one
- 39:59Speaker 9: from there. And I did have something in there as
- 40:01Speaker 9: high as two million dollars, but I'm gonna pick one
- 40:03Speaker 9: from there that is not my personal that is not
- 40:06Speaker 9: the most valuable, but will not be sold. So I
- 40:09Speaker 9: grew up a as you can guess, a Phillies fan.
- 40:12Speaker 9: I know this is a Schmid jersey. This is an
- 40:14Speaker 9: actual game mission jersey from eighty to nine. And I
- 40:17Speaker 9: was with my family at the nineteen eighty World Series
- 40:20Speaker 9: in Old Veterans Stadium, and I saw all the home games.
- 40:25Speaker 9: I was there for Game six. I was there with
- 40:28Speaker 9: McGraw pounding his chest and of course the ball popping
- 40:32Speaker 9: out of.
- 40:32Speaker 5: Boone's glove and Pete Rose getting there to catch it.
- 40:35Speaker 9: So I saw at auction a couple of years ago
- 40:39Speaker 9: Richie Ashburn's who was a Philly Hall of Famer and
- 40:42Speaker 9: was the announcer.
- 40:44Speaker 5: He got a World Series ring due to his affiliation.
- 40:46Speaker 9: I saw it up for sale and I said, I
- 40:48Speaker 9: don't I don't care what this goes for.
- 40:50Speaker 5: I'm buying it.
- 40:50Speaker 9: So and the great thing is is it fits me
- 40:53Speaker 9: because Richie was not a six foot five, you know,
- 40:58Speaker 9: thick guy. He was probably six foot one, skinny outfielder
- 41:01Speaker 9: like May. Although I'm not an outfielder and I was tennis.
- 41:05Speaker 9: I was a tennis player. My son's the baseball player.
- 41:07Speaker 9: And it's one of those things. You know, the value
- 41:10Speaker 9: probably thirty grand, but to me it brings back memories
- 41:15Speaker 9: of you know, being there and being with my family
- 41:18Speaker 9: at the nineteen eighty World Series, the first time the
- 41:20Speaker 9: Phillies ever won.
- 41:21Speaker 3: You know, I have four kids, and you know, we're
- 41:24Speaker 3: on the radio and my kids don't think that's cool
- 41:26Speaker 3: at all. Did your kids think like what you did
- 41:29Speaker 3: was just freaking awesome.
- 41:32Speaker 5: Paul, duh.
- 41:32Speaker 9: Well, I've got two oldest, two older daughters. I've got
- 41:37Speaker 9: Lindsay who's twenty eight, who probably doesn't care about any
- 41:41Speaker 9: of it except the music. I got Lara, who people
- 41:44Speaker 9: know from the Netflix show. And Laura will be here
- 41:46Speaker 9: in a bad an hour. And she couldn't get off
- 41:50Speaker 9: couldn't get off work until after lunch reading. But she
- 41:54Speaker 9: always went to the office, and she always wanted to
- 41:57Speaker 9: take picture with cool things. So she's got a picture
- 42:00Speaker 9: of herself holding the Wagner. She's got a picture of herself.
- 42:03Speaker 9: And she would always take advantage of my relationships from
- 42:06Speaker 9: the standpoint that, you know, for some.
- 42:09Speaker 5: Reason we got divorced her step for her, you know,
- 42:12Speaker 5: the new dad.
- 42:14Speaker 9: You know, my wife's ex husband. My ex wife's husband
- 42:18Speaker 9: was giant fan. So she became a Giant fan. So
- 42:20Speaker 9: she said, Dad, can you get me to meet the giants?
- 42:22Speaker 5: So they won the Super Bowl.
- 42:23Speaker 4: I got there to meet all the time, I got
- 42:25Speaker 4: all the giants, like, oh my god.
- 42:26Speaker 9: So she was into it. Paul, of course is into
- 42:29Speaker 9: it like crazy. He's like we're in the car. Barry
- 42:32Speaker 9: Bond's a call me, you know, so he's really really
- 42:36Speaker 9: into it. And Carly and he just turned eleven. Carly,
- 42:39Speaker 9: who's six, is probably into it.
- 42:41Speaker 5: More than anything.
- 42:42Speaker 9: But you know, she's like waiting for her chance to
- 42:44Speaker 9: be on the TV show because she's like into uh,
- 42:47Speaker 9: into Star Wars, into comics and things like that.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Final question for you, and I'm gonna be very specific.
- 42:53Speaker 1: I'm a massive Cubs fan. Do you have any favorite
- 42:56Speaker 1: Cubs in your collection?
- 42:58Speaker 5: Any favorite Cubs? Yeah, Ernie Banks?
- 43:01Speaker 1: And what do you have, like, what is your favorite
- 43:03Speaker 1: Cubs piece of memorabilia that you have?
- 43:05Speaker 9: I have a a actual game used home run bat,
- 43:11Speaker 9: signed it inscribed by Ernie Banks, photo match to one
- 43:14Speaker 9: of his home runs and Ernie. Another one of my
- 43:18Speaker 9: favorite items is is personalized pictures with Ernie Ernie. Ernie
- 43:24Speaker 9: was the nicest guy in the world, to the standpoint
- 43:30Speaker 9: that anytime we're talking to his phone and he goes,
- 43:32Speaker 9: how's your mom doing? How's your mom doing? Because my
- 43:35Speaker 9: dad had passed away in ninety four, so we would always
- 43:37Speaker 9: ask me, how's my mom, how's my family? And you're
- 43:39Speaker 9: still enjoying work, You're ready to retire, you know all
- 43:42Speaker 9: this stuff like that.
- 43:43Speaker 5: He was just an unbelievable great guy.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Do you want to ask him my Cowboys? Real good? Yeah?
- 43:47Speaker 1: What do you have?
- 43:47Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 43:47Speaker 1: What do you have for the Cowboys?
- 43:49Speaker 4: What do I have for the Cowboys? Absolutely nothing? True?
- 43:56Speaker 1: What does he want from the Cowboys?
- 43:57Speaker 6: Absolutely nothing?
- 43:59Speaker 9: All right, I get something, this sell it. But look, Ire,
- 44:01Speaker 9: you grew up an Eagles fan. It's a little tough
- 44:02Speaker 9: to have something. I got that have something Cowboys.

- 44:21Speaker 9: so much. You know, they bring their wives, they bring
- 44:23Speaker 9: their girlfriends. You know, now it's respectable. They can see
- 44:26Speaker 9: what you do on TV, so now it's respectable. Now
- 44:28Speaker 9: they don't think I'm some you know nerds saying I'll
- 44:30Speaker 9: put two in the morning on my computer. Thank you,
- 44:32Speaker 9: U to going, Thank you pleasure.

- 46:05Speaker 1: We touched on yours a little bit. What do you
- 46:07Speaker 1: want to say? Give us your personal game and how
- 46:08Speaker 1: it went.
- 46:09Speaker 3: No, I wasn't in the air, So it's kind of interesting,
- 46:11Speaker 3: like to watch a football game in the air, because
- 46:14Speaker 3: then you start picking up you know who the fans
- 46:15Speaker 3: are like everything. When the Cowboys scored, we go yes,
- 46:18Speaker 3: and then you hear it yes yes, and I look
- 46:20Speaker 3: over like, yeah, Cowboys fan over there. So that's kind
- 46:22Speaker 3: of cool. Like I've never really I've always stressed out
- 46:24Speaker 3: like oh what time the Cowboys plane?
- 46:26Speaker 1: Am I going to be flying or not?
- 46:27Speaker 3: But I kind of enjoyed the experience of being in
- 46:29Speaker 3: the air with other Cowboys fans watching the game, like
- 46:32Speaker 3: they weren't sitting by me, but it was cool to have.
- 46:34Speaker 1: Them in the plane.
- 46:35Speaker 3: Did you lose on the plane the game? Oh yeah,
- 46:39Speaker 3: the game. I was still it was probably mid flight
- 46:41Speaker 3: when they lost. So I just shut my laptop and
- 46:43Speaker 3: started working. Not a lot of yeses, no, I mean there.
- 46:46Speaker 1: Was a lot of yeses in that fourth and when
- 46:48Speaker 1: they did make a comeback, yeah, that's pretty good, awesome.
- 46:49Speaker 3: I'm an onside kick working like okay. And then it
- 46:52Speaker 3: was right before tom Brady.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Right about the onside kick. Didn't I went to the
- 46:56Speaker 1: bathroom and didn't see it. So tom Brady how they
- 46:58Speaker 1: got the ball back?
- 46:58Speaker 3: He's like, you know, it's never it's never over till
- 47:01Speaker 3: it's over, you know, like on the Super Bowl, you know,
- 47:03Speaker 3: we thought we were losing and then all of a sudden,
- 47:05Speaker 3: you got a you know, three point game, three possession game.
- 47:08Speaker 3: We come back and we win the thing. And so
- 47:10Speaker 3: I started thinking, like, he could be right, you know
- 47:13Speaker 3: and make it stop.
- 47:14Speaker 1: Though on either of those all they have to just
- 47:17Speaker 1: make it up. I know they did, so they did
- 47:20Speaker 1: put themselves in position to actually make it a game.
- 47:22Speaker 1: But yeah, I'm sorry, for your loss. Thank you one
- 47:24Speaker 1: and two.
- 47:25Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that's tough. It's not how I thought we'd
- 47:29Speaker 3: start the season. Yeah, but I'm enjoying the games, man,
- 47:33Speaker 3: I'm telling I'm a new man. I'm not gonna let
- 47:35Speaker 3: it ruin my whole week. It did help that they
- 47:37Speaker 3: played like that at the end of the game.
- 47:38Speaker 1: Though, Casey jets one, Oh my god, how awesome was that?
- 47:42Speaker 7: To witness Rogers, Yeah it was, it was awesome. He
- 47:46Speaker 7: went Rodgers and here two in a row going. I
- 47:52Speaker 7: think we're playing Denver next, mister bow Nicks. I think
- 47:55Speaker 7: we'll still pull that one out.
- 47:56Speaker 1: But where are you playing it?
- 47:58Speaker 7: I think it's in Met Life because we're on the
- 48:00Speaker 7: road for the first two, so uh yeah, that's what
- 48:02Speaker 7: We're going to London to play the Vikings, Sam Darnold.
- 48:06Speaker 1: Little playing three out of four games not in New York.
- 48:10Speaker 1: Well we did, we played, we played.
- 48:12Speaker 7: This past one was in Met Life, this one coming
- 48:15Speaker 7: up is in Met Life, and then we're on the
- 48:16Speaker 7: I got London, Yeah, got it. So yeah, two on
- 48:19Speaker 7: the road, two at home, and then the one on
- 48:20Speaker 7: in London. So yeah, we look pretty good. I think
- 48:24Speaker 7: we're starting to shape up here. I don't know last words.
- 48:28Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm trying.
- 48:34Speaker 1: The Arkansas game was interesting. We won, We beat Auburn.
- 48:36Speaker 1: Auburn was terrible. It was a game of who just
- 48:38Speaker 1: didn't want to lose. Like it was a terrible game.
- 48:41Speaker 1: You never frown at an away game sec victory on
- 48:47Speaker 1: the road, you just don't. But God, we tried to
- 48:49Speaker 1: give it away like four times. I don't know if
- 48:51Speaker 1: you guys are watching any of the game, watch a
- 48:53Speaker 1: little bit that fourth down where they threw like a
- 48:55Speaker 1: seventy yard touchdown. Luily, we're up two scores. Uh, that
- 48:58Speaker 1: is a struggle. Yeah, they benched our quarterback for a
- 49:01Speaker 1: series because they did, But it turns out he just
- 49:02Speaker 1: had cramps, but he would he wasn't throwing the ball. Well,
- 49:07Speaker 1: I'm happy for the win, and it was on the road.
- 49:09Speaker 1: Auburn was terrible. Auburn plays Oklahoma this week. Oklahoma's gonna
- 49:13Speaker 1: stomp a hole in them. So I'm just still disgusted
- 49:18Speaker 1: with the Oklahoma State loss from two weeks ago, where
- 49:20Speaker 1: we collapsed. We'd be four and oh still because we
- 49:24Speaker 1: beat you APB by one hundred. It's not even a
- 49:27Speaker 1: real team. We had Oklahoma State up against the ropes
- 49:31Speaker 1: and they came back. We did everything wrong in the
- 49:33Speaker 1: second half. We almost got beat the week after that
- 49:36Speaker 1: by UAB Trent Dilford. I'm just starting to feel like
- 49:43Speaker 1: and I don't know what the change is, but this
- 49:45Speaker 1: this is not long term for us to have some
- 49:47Speaker 1: big success. I think we could squeak out. If we
- 49:51Speaker 1: win seven games this year, that'd be awesome. I want
- 49:53Speaker 1: to win every game and I get sick to my
- 49:54Speaker 1: stomach when we lose at all. If we beat Texas
- 49:58Speaker 1: A and M this week, that will be mad for
- 50:00Speaker 1: our season.
- 50:01Speaker 3: Then you'll forget about your last loss.
- 50:03Speaker 1: No, the Oklo Me State game.
- 50:04Speaker 3: We would get undefeated right now, but you forget about that.
- 50:06Speaker 3: Do you guys beat the Aggies, You'll forget about that.
- 50:08Speaker 1: No, I won't because text A and M is not great.
- 50:11Speaker 1: And are you in Arkansas? Are you that you're playing
- 50:13Speaker 1: in Arkansas? No, we're playing Dallas. It's a stupid game
- 50:16Speaker 1: where we're playing in world. Remember that one where it
- 50:18Speaker 1: feels so generic and like nobody there's like no home environment.
- 50:23Speaker 1: It sucks. We need to do home and home there
- 50:25Speaker 1: Arkansas want I was happy about it, and I want
- 50:27Speaker 1: a bunch of money and I thought they would cover
- 50:28Speaker 1: and I thought they would win. That's why I put
- 50:29Speaker 1: them as a money line. But man, we should have
- 50:31Speaker 1: beat them by like twenty one twenty four points.
- 50:35Speaker 6: You watch some of it, Yeah, yeah, I was watching
- 50:38Speaker 6: it because I always watch those games now, just thinking
- 50:39Speaker 6: of you, what's the move Bobby's going to be in
- 50:42Speaker 6: next week on Monday.
- 50:43Speaker 3: Oh that's a thing. Like even everyone and iHeart was
- 50:46Speaker 3: just like watching, like not watching the game, but watching
- 50:48Speaker 3: the score, like make sure that they win because Bobby's
- 50:49Speaker 3: gonna be in a good mood or a bad mood.
- 50:51Speaker 1: Yeah, oh that's true. That's true. So anyway, I'm not
- 50:54Speaker 1: gonna be not gonna be sad and I gonna apologize
- 50:56Speaker 1: for a road win. But Auburn is terrible.
- 50:59Speaker 6: They're They're pretty bad.
- 51:00Speaker 1: I think UAB would beat Auburn. Probably col went and
- 51:03Speaker 1: beat Auburn. I mean that was earlier this year. Yeah,
- 51:06Speaker 1: so okay, cool Reid. I'd ask you, but you know
- 51:09Speaker 1: I watched sports. Nah, no personal thing here, But was
- 51:11Speaker 1: it Colorado that the football gets hit dude rat in
- 51:14Speaker 1: the chest just bounced off. Yeah, keep talking about that,
- 51:17Speaker 1: keep going. Was that it? Yes? Now, I'm just saying
- 51:19Speaker 1: that and that's how they lost. No was it, I
- 51:24Speaker 1: don't know, you tell me, Yeah, I think I think
- 51:26Speaker 1: they lost from that, yeah, because that was a hill mary. Yeah,
- 51:28Speaker 1: and then they fumbled and then the other team threw
- 51:31Speaker 1: a hill mary one. Actually right, yeah, that's what happened.
- 51:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I think. I feel like because they
- 51:38Speaker 3: had TVs above the Crafts tables, so maybe that's the
- 51:40Speaker 3: game that was on while was gambling.
- 51:42Speaker 1: Is that what you saw? It was a highlight run. Yeah,
- 51:44Speaker 1: So what happened was they were throwing the hill mary
- 51:48Speaker 1: and that was the next to last play and a
- 51:49Speaker 1: bounce off his chest and complete and everybody's like, oh
- 51:51Speaker 1: my god, they could have scored. The next play was
- 51:54Speaker 1: the throw where they caught the touchdown. Then they won
- 51:57Speaker 1: an overtime. Colorado did it to so Dean in one.
- 52:00Speaker 1: I actually need to get all my highlights here, but
- 52:03Speaker 1: you do. Yeah yeah, Actually, Kevin Tennessee, you're I mean, yeah,
- 52:10Speaker 1: I love Nico man, I like Tennessee.
- 52:12Speaker 6: Now, I don't want to do New England. We already
- 52:14Speaker 6: did the freaking Jets. That's your my misery minute or
- 52:20Speaker 6: whatever minute of misery. Yeah, that sucked. I was fine home,
- 52:24Speaker 6: and I was like, yeah, Patriots are plane, gonna make
- 52:27Speaker 6: my flight a lot better. By the way, Eddie, remember
- 52:28Speaker 6: we talked about it. They had it on the plane,
- 52:30Speaker 6: No problem, good, I'm watching it and by the second
- 52:32Speaker 6: quarter I was like, oh my gosh, this is awful.
- 52:35Speaker 6: And it was made a long flight even longer.
- 52:37Speaker 1: What do you think about what Drake may one in?
- 52:39Speaker 1: Because again this was Thursday right, so long ago.
- 52:42Speaker 6: I was scared for him because he got wrong. Jacobe
- 52:45Speaker 6: was me neither. It's like, if you want to put
- 52:49Speaker 6: him in, that's fine, but let him build up and
- 52:50Speaker 6: get some confidence. You don't want to throw him in
- 52:52Speaker 6: there in like a wash of a game and just
- 52:54Speaker 6: have the Jets defense just go eight, just crazy on them. Yeah,
- 52:58Speaker 6: I felt I didn't like that.
- 53:00Speaker 1: Okay, well there you go. Sorry about that, buddy. Are
- 53:02Speaker 1: you guys playing this week?
- 53:04Speaker 6: The Niners, Well, they're down.
- 53:06Speaker 1: I don't know their whole team.
- 53:07Speaker 6: I know, and now they're gonna be pissed off because
- 53:08Speaker 6: they blew that game against the Rams and it's at
- 53:11Speaker 6: they gotta fly all the way to California.
- 53:12Speaker 1: I did even watch into the game. I literally thought
- 53:14Speaker 1: it was over. Turned the school, turn it back on
- 53:15Speaker 1: and saw the Rams to have won the field goal.
- 53:17Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, game winning field crazy. They did what the
- 53:21Speaker 6: Cowboys couldn't make a stop when they needed to.
- 53:23Speaker 1: Wow, they had to bring you back quickly, Jets. When
- 53:28Speaker 1: Giants beat the Browns, think about the Giants when though
- 53:32Speaker 1: was Daniel Jones didn't look bad. But also Miles Garrett
- 53:34Speaker 1: got hurt. Yeah, and so I just saw himri and
- 53:36Speaker 1: his foot if he's gone, I didn't see the Cleveland
- 53:39Speaker 1: does not look good. Cleveland is you know, Giants won
- 53:42Speaker 1: and they I think they're still bad. I think Cleveland's
- 53:44Speaker 1: just awful. I agree Packers win. That's pretty cool for
- 53:49Speaker 1: I don't know. We like the Titans because we live
- 53:51Speaker 1: here and we know some of the people. But like
- 53:52Speaker 1: good for Malik Willis.
- 53:54Speaker 7: Yeah, will Levis again throwing throwing at the other team
- 53:56Speaker 7: will a couple of times.
- 53:58Speaker 6: And then he was just getting asked. I mean he
- 54:00Speaker 6: was getting killed back there.
- 54:01Speaker 1: Yeah, what is he? Is there any hope? Will we
- 54:04Speaker 1: all have us at all?
- 54:06Speaker 2: Right?
- 54:06Speaker 1: Thought there could be a chance, But I don't know.
- 54:08Speaker 1: I don't think so. Like he looks good in a uniform,
- 54:10Speaker 1: but other than that, he looks looks good for commercials.
- 54:13Speaker 1: Colts beat the Bears. I mean Caylwiams do for a
- 54:16Speaker 1: bunch of yards. I don't know. It just looked like
- 54:18Speaker 1: two teams that didn't know what they were to do.
- 54:20Speaker 1: They both looked lost. Rich Yes, they both looked lost.
- 54:25Speaker 1: Vikings and Texans. I didn't get to watch a lot
- 54:28Speaker 1: of that, but it was never a game when I
- 54:30Speaker 1: was looking at the score. Was never a game Eagles
- 54:32Speaker 1: and Saints. The Saints were winning most of the game.
- 54:35Speaker 3: I was watching zero, I think for most of the
- 54:37Speaker 3: game until.
- 54:37Speaker 1: The fourth quarter. Steal to beat the Chargers. Look at
- 54:41Speaker 1: justin Field, it's good for him, man. Broncos win. Panthers
- 54:45Speaker 1: beat the Raiders, and then after the game, do you
- 54:47Speaker 1: guys see the Raiders coach and he was like they
- 54:50Speaker 1: were making business decisions. So will we because some of
- 54:52Speaker 1: the players like weren't, like, weren't trying. Seahawks beat the Dolphins.
- 54:57Speaker 1: Dolphins are terrible. They have to get a quarterback. Cowboys
- 55:01Speaker 1: lose the Ravens, Rams beat the forty nine ers. What
- 55:04Speaker 1: was that? Lions beat the Cardinals and then Chiefs win.
- 55:07Speaker 1: They won last night. Looked pretty good though.
- 55:10Speaker 3: They do look good. They just I mean, they just couldn't.
- 55:13Speaker 1: There's passing affairs on pits, right, I mean we saw that, right.
- 55:16Speaker 6: I've heard about I haven't seen the clip yet, though I've.
- 55:17Speaker 1: Only seen the clip I fell asleep.
- 55:19Speaker 3: There's a there's passing aference on everything, Like there's so
- 55:22Speaker 3: many passing inferences, like if I feel like if you're
- 55:25Speaker 3: not able to catch that ball at all, like because
- 55:29Speaker 3: of what they're doing, Like it's got to be called. Yeah,
- 55:32Speaker 3: it's got to be called, and they just don't and
- 55:34Speaker 3: you can't do anything about it if it's not called.
- 55:36Speaker 7: Yeah, I feel like case could easily be with three,
- 55:38Speaker 7: but they're three and oh because of like three plays
- 55:40Speaker 7: in each camp.
- 55:41Speaker 1: Crazy. Yeah, that sounds like a hat more than anything.
- 55:44Speaker 1: I know.
- 55:44Speaker 6: That's something I would say.
- 55:45Speaker 1: Yeah, anybody can be three and oh or zero and
- 55:48Speaker 1: three because we're gonna go meta like that meta. Okay yo,
- 55:54Speaker 1: did you smell the will Levis clone?
- 55:56Speaker 3: Oh yeah I smell yeah, yeah yeah. Somebody here at
- 55:59Speaker 3: work had it and I was like, let me see that.
- 56:01Speaker 1: It must have been like free, right, like they must
- 56:03Speaker 1: have got it for three dollars, don't know, but someone go,
- 56:05Speaker 1: I gotta get the will Levis clone.
- 56:07Speaker 3: Or like he works at the radio station. So maybe
- 56:09Speaker 3: like they sent.
- 56:10Speaker 1: It like it had to be something free.
- 56:12Speaker 3: Oh yeah, but here's the thing that they marketed as
- 56:14Speaker 3: like mayonnaise smelling cologne, Like it smells good. Yeah, it
- 56:18Speaker 3: smells like a real cologne. I would wear it.
- 56:22Speaker 6: Did you wear it that day?
- 56:23Speaker 1: It doesn't smell no, no, no, no, it doesn't at all.
- 56:25Speaker 3: So I think they just said that to be cute
- 56:27Speaker 3: because it smells like a real cologne.
- 56:30Speaker 1: All right, Well, you guys have anything you want to
- 56:31Speaker 1: say as we wrapped us up, you want to go
- 56:33Speaker 1: around the room, give me your final thought, Mike. When
- 56:35Speaker 1: I hit the song, read you go first. Oh man,
- 56:38Speaker 1: I just want to say I do not have a
- 56:40Speaker 1: gambling addiction. No one thinks you do. All right, you're
- 56:44Speaker 1: just new to the game, the table games, like we
- 56:46Speaker 1: all went through this. That's true. But I had a
- 56:49Speaker 1: great time in Vegas. I you tired. I'm very tired.
- 56:53Speaker 3: You stayed up late a lot of nights.
- 56:55Speaker 1: No in midnight two am your body? Yeah, I guess
- 57:00Speaker 1: said it's true. Yeah, so, but I had a great
- 57:02Speaker 1: time in Vegas. He did say a couple of times.
- 57:05Speaker 1: I love my job, ye man. Yeah, and I haven't
- 57:11Speaker 1: done any sports betting on the app. So I'm gonna
- 57:14Speaker 1: try to keep refraining from that and then just whenever
- 57:17Speaker 1: we you know, go on trips and then we hit
- 57:20Speaker 1: a casino pop in for a little bit, you know.
- 57:22Speaker 1: But other than that went to his high register there, Eddie.
- 57:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I just want to say I'm not sure how
- 57:29Speaker 3: I feel about my parenting decisions this weekend, because I
- 57:33Speaker 3: decided to take my sixteen year old son to Vegas
- 57:36Speaker 3: sixteen and he.
- 57:38Speaker 1: Loved it.
- 57:40Speaker 6: Him and read or.
- 57:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 57:43Speaker 3: He was like bagging me Deck, Can I play slot machine?
- 57:46Speaker 1: Please? I'm like, no, you cannot. I heard that he
- 57:49Speaker 1: was singing along like Big Sean. He likes hip hop,
- 57:52Speaker 1: but like singing all the words, all the words like
- 57:54Speaker 1: oh too.
- 57:55Speaker 3: I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa, buddy, whoa, don't say that
- 57:58Speaker 3: your mom's here.
- 57:59Speaker 6: Don't say that to Chris Martin.
- 58:01Speaker 1: That's fine, Like I love Kevin.
- 58:06Speaker 6: Yeah, speaking of betting with Reid, I've actually hit I
- 58:09Speaker 6: found a little niche in betting.
- 58:11Speaker 1: Oh boy, everybody that's got a system.
- 58:13Speaker 6: I hit the first TD on prime time games since
- 58:16Speaker 6: night one. I've hit what my five and four and
- 58:20Speaker 6: I just do five bucks on one player on each team,
- 58:23Speaker 6: and I've won like two hundred bucks and I've lost
- 58:26Speaker 6: like twenty five bucks.
- 58:27Speaker 1: Let's go. That's pretty wait, so what's tonight? Then give
- 58:30Speaker 1: us your pic?
- 58:31Speaker 6: No, I pick it right before the game. I don't
- 58:33Speaker 6: even look. I don't think about it until right before,
- 58:34Speaker 6: and I just see a name and I'm like, that's
- 58:36Speaker 6: it right there.
- 58:36Speaker 1: Just see a name sounds fishy to me. Can't tell
- 58:39Speaker 1: us now. But because he only does it right before,
- 58:41Speaker 1: because I can't tell that, ruins old system casey Amon
- 58:45Speaker 1: Rodger's baby. That's that's all.
- 58:49Speaker 5: You got.
- 58:51Speaker 1: Too much hope in one man, too much hope and
- 58:54Speaker 1: one man. We're undefeated sec play. What can I say?
- 58:59Speaker 1: We are undefeated in that? Yeah, it's pretty exciting. It
- 59:02Speaker 1: was just I was my My emotions were so torn
- 59:05Speaker 1: because it's like there's no long term, huge success here. However,
- 59:09Speaker 1: I never want to lose, and I get so upset,
- 59:11Speaker 1: and so I'm just like equally like one eighth sad
- 59:17Speaker 1: and seven eighths happy, but I don't want to be
- 59:18Speaker 1: sad at all. So it's like I want to win
- 59:20Speaker 1: every game. But if we win like five or six
- 59:23Speaker 1: games and we don't make any substantial changes I'm gonna
- 59:26Speaker 1: act like I'm gonna care less, but I'm really not.
- 59:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna act like it for a good two months
- 59:30Speaker 1: this year, and basketball is like forty days away. College basketball.
