- 0:00Speaker 1: Who invented summer?
- 0:02Speaker 2: The devil? It's so hot, the devil, or not even
- 0:06Speaker 2: the devil. I think it was someone who really wanted
- 0:08Speaker 2: to impress.
- 0:09Speaker 1: The devil sure explained more.
- 0:12Speaker 2: I just think that sometimes people who really want to
- 0:15Speaker 2: impress go above and beyond.
- 0:19Speaker 1: I see, so they've they've cranked it up a few
- 0:21Speaker 1: temperatures to please Satan.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Yes, and even the Devil himself is here in this
- 0:26Speaker 2: summer heat, saying I don't know, guys, maybe that's a
- 0:30Speaker 2: bit too far.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Yeah, like climate change is more than the devil intended.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Yeah, he's like, I don't know about you, guys. This
- 0:37Speaker 2: is pretty evil.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I tell you what's more evil than this heat
- 0:42Speaker 1: we're experiencing, this dry heat we're experiencing in Colorado. We
- 0:46Speaker 1: were in Texas this past weekend. We literally just got
- 0:49Speaker 1: back from a trip.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Gosh. Apart from the heat and the humidity, we were
- 0:55Speaker 2: at the happiest place on earth, the.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Happy Disneyland, Texas Disney.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Aka ae W.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Yes, we were at all elite Wrestlings All in event,
- 1:06Speaker 1: which is like their WrestleMania.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Mm hmmmm or WrestleMania is w w E s all in.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Hopefully that's how folks will start thinking of it because
- 1:17Speaker 1: I'm I was about to go on a rent about WW,
- 1:19Speaker 1: but this isn't the time or the place.
- 1:22Speaker 2: They just you can google it, Yeah, you can google it.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Why we don't necessarily invest in them as much.
- 1:29Speaker 1: They have like a rotating set of guests where it's
- 1:32Speaker 1: basically Dana White's on one episode, than Tony Hinchcliff's on
- 1:35Speaker 1: the next episode, and then I don't think he has
- 1:37Speaker 1: been yet, but Donald Trump is on the next or
- 1:40Speaker 1: at least not since he's become president.
- 1:42Speaker 2: He's in the Hall of Fame. He's in the w
- 1:44Speaker 2: W Hall of Fame. Of course he is Vince McMahon's
- 1:47Speaker 2: limo blew up on screen and Donald Trump called to
- 1:51Speaker 2: ask if he was okay.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's our president. Is someone who doesn't even
- 1:55Speaker 1: know what k fabe is. Yeah, I'm not going to
- 1:59Speaker 1: complain about MAGAW. I'm just gonna be glad that there
- 2:02Speaker 1: is an alternative that now exists thanks to lots of
- 2:06Speaker 1: things shifting right wood. It means that there's room for
- 2:11Speaker 1: I was gonna say progressive wrestling. It's not even that progressive.
- 2:14Speaker 1: It's just what things used to be before this sort
- 2:18Speaker 1: of swing we've taken Uh huh Standard Americana. That's what
- 2:23Speaker 1: it was.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Yes, would I love an incredibly progressive pro wrestling company?
- 2:28Speaker 1: Of course?
- 2:30Speaker 2: Am I gonna get it?
- 2:31Speaker 3: No?
- 2:32Speaker 2: Aw is mine.
- 2:35Speaker 1: It's the closest thing. We had such a good time.
- 2:37Speaker 1: It was the longest wrestling event I think in history.
- 2:41Speaker 1: It felt like a day festival. We were there, what
- 2:45Speaker 1: eight hours or something like that.
- 2:47Speaker 2: I spent years in Globe Life Stadium, Globe Life Field,
- 2:51Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 2:52Speaker 1: It's one of those two.
- 2:53Speaker 2: I feel like I grew years in that beautiful time
- 2:58Speaker 2: that we were there on the floor, and so it
- 3:01Speaker 2: was a very festival feel. Yeah, you're just like wandering around. Oh,
- 3:05Speaker 2: there's the pre show getting taped.
- 3:08Speaker 1: We saw the Big Show, the B to B veteran
- 3:12Speaker 1: the Big Show was on the pre show panel and
- 3:15Speaker 1: he was having a rough time in the Texas heat.
- 3:18Speaker 1: I empathized with him massively, and his beautiful, big bald
- 3:22Speaker 1: head was so shiny it was sweating many a droplet
- 3:26Speaker 1: that when they stopped filming the pre show in between takes,
- 3:30Speaker 1: someone would come over with a towel and just drape
- 3:33Speaker 1: the towel over his head and then clean his head
- 3:36Speaker 1: like a big bowling bowl.
- 3:37Speaker 3: It was like a bowling ball. Oh god.
- 3:42Speaker 2: I was like filming little things around backstage, and I
- 3:46Speaker 2: have a one second clip because I was gonna film
- 3:49Speaker 2: the panel for a couple seconds, and then they threw
- 3:51Speaker 2: that towel, big beautiful bald head, and I had to
- 3:57Speaker 2: stop filming immediately because I was like, picture doesn't need this.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Yeah, it maintain his dignity. But now we are talking
- 4:05Speaker 1: about it on a podcast.
- 4:06Speaker 2: I'm so grateful I have this long of hair because
- 4:09Speaker 2: my head was sweating as much as big shows. Yeah,
- 4:13Speaker 2: but I could hide my shape.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Oh poor guy. I mean, we're talking about this and
- 4:20Speaker 1: not the matches. But I do think that will be
- 4:23Speaker 1: one of my top five memories from the event will
- 4:26Speaker 1: be Big Shore getting toweled down right in front, literally
- 4:29Speaker 1: six feet away from me.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Uh huh. Not the moment like five minutes after where
- 4:34Speaker 2: you were on camera on the pre show.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I was like stood behind the panel smiling
- 4:40Speaker 1: and waving at the camera just because that's a fun
- 4:43Speaker 1: thing to do.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Yeah, when in Rome, when in Texas, When in Texas,
- 4:47Speaker 2: it was such a Texas show as well.
- 4:50Speaker 1: And I guess I mean that in like a positive way.
- 4:53Speaker 1: I know, we mentioned to a good handful of people
- 4:55Speaker 1: that we were going to Texas and they were like,
- 4:57Speaker 1: I am so sorry.
- 4:59Speaker 2: I agree.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Agreed, yeah, given current political climbs and things like that.
- 5:05Speaker 1: But we had a lovely time in Texas because we
- 5:08Speaker 1: didn't do anything other than hang out with our friends
- 5:11Speaker 1: at the Airbnb, go to a lovely Indian restaurant, and
- 5:17Speaker 1: spend time amongst twenty five thousand wrestling fans who are
- 5:21Speaker 1: generally more progressive and understanding. I saw a lot of
- 5:25Speaker 1: pro Wrestling is Gay t shirts. That was great.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Oh yes, one of the one of the wrestlers referred
- 5:32Speaker 2: to AW as the weekly Colisseum of gay violence. Yes,
- 5:38Speaker 2: and it resonated. Oh, it resonated with us all.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 5:43Speaker 1: It was very Texas because it felt like a lot
- 5:45Speaker 1: of hometown heroes. One like obviously Hangman Adam Page, the Cowboy.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Couldn't get more Texas than.
- 5:51Speaker 2: That anxious millennial cowboy.
- 5:53Speaker 1: The anxious millennial cowboy, y lord and savior. He overcame
- 5:58Speaker 1: the evil John Moxley in the main events, and that
- 6:01Speaker 1: was just that was an old timer that felt like
- 6:04Speaker 1: end game, that was like the culmination of so much story.
- 6:08Speaker 2: I can't wait to eventually buy that, or watch John
- 6:12Speaker 2: Moxley's entrance because he enters through the crowd and he
- 6:16Speaker 2: entered right by us.
- 6:17Speaker 1: He did enter right buyers on a jeep on a jeep.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Every time I watch a show and he enters through
- 6:23Speaker 2: the crowd, I complain about the dickheads with their phones out.
- 6:29Speaker 2: It was me. I was a dickhead with my phone out.
- 6:31Speaker 2: I was filming John Moxley. Someone immediately put their arm
- 6:35Speaker 2: in front of the camera.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Okay, so we can't see you on this clip, but
- 6:38Speaker 1: I have pulled it up on YouTube and you can't
- 6:40Speaker 1: see me right there.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Oh my god. And also in my clip. I then
- 6:44Speaker 2: try to get another angle and I trip. Okay, you
- 6:49Speaker 2: also can't see that on camera either. Thank god they
- 6:53Speaker 2: didn't capture that, but they did capture be screaming it's over, Moxley,
- 6:57Speaker 2: It's over.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Oh.
- 6:58Speaker 2: That was joyous to be next to as well. Oh.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I love being such a mark for these events. And
- 7:04Speaker 1: that was like the eighth hour we were in, like
- 7:06Speaker 1: the five.
- 7:07Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I usually get tired after three hours of a wrestling show.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I've been to shows, not wrestling shows, but I've been
- 7:14Speaker 2: to shows where twenty minutes. I'm ready to go home.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Twenty minutes, I'm.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Sleepy before the support act is even finished.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Yep, I'm honestly I could tap out this hour eight.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Oh boy, I was screaming too. You can't see me
- 7:34Speaker 2: because I did fall over, but you were screaming, Oh boy,
- 7:40Speaker 2: I was screaming.
- 7:41Speaker 1: That last match was pretty violent as well. They were
- 7:44Speaker 1: snapping each other with folks pretty early on.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Within two minutes. I did for the last match. I
- 7:50Speaker 2: was excited for the entrance. I did sit down during
- 7:53Speaker 2: a good portion of that match because I was just like,
- 7:56Speaker 2: they're murdering each other. I got a video of myself
- 8:00Speaker 2: facing away from it with just like a bloody people
- 8:04Speaker 2: on the screen, just thinking I think they died. It's
- 8:08Speaker 2: like I can watch this reversed tiny backwards. I could
- 8:13Speaker 2: watch this through a mirror. Through a funhouse mirror is
- 8:15Speaker 2: what I could watch.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 8:17Speaker 2: This level of.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Violence distorted the image so much that it's allowed to
- 8:20Speaker 1: be upon YouTube.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Yes, that's the level at which I could watch the
- 8:25Speaker 2: violence of that last match. Energy in the crowd still
- 8:29Speaker 2: fucking amazing.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Yeah, all night, all day, even all day and all night.
- 8:34Speaker 1: The energy was incredible.
- 8:36Speaker 2: It started at eleven.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I think noon, okay started at noon.
- 8:40Speaker 2: It started at noon, so it was the day.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it was the full day. It was like noon
- 8:44Speaker 1: to late or something. Tawny Storm was probably the highlight
- 8:47Speaker 1: of the I mean, she's the highlight of everything in
- 8:49Speaker 1: wrestling right now. I think her gimmick is this like
- 8:53Speaker 1: nineteen fifties Hollywood movie thrawback figure.
- 8:59Speaker 2: In my mind, and I see her as a perfect
- 9:03Speaker 2: mix of like a Carnival strong man, you know, the
- 9:06Speaker 2: one with like the fisticuffs, Yes, like the leotade up
- 9:09Speaker 2: to here, and he's got the fifticuffs and the fancy mustache. Yes,
- 9:12Speaker 2: he's like a fifty to fifty that and Marilyn Monroe totally.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Yeah, if Marilyn Monroe was like a Victorian strong man.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Yeah. And that's an insane.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Description, but it's a good one. Everyone was hyped for
- 9:25Speaker 1: Tony Storm. It was an incredible match. She retained her title,
- 9:29Speaker 1: so she's now like the biggest thing in women's wrestling
- 9:31Speaker 1: in the whole world.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Mm hmm. And something else phenomenal about this is they
- 9:38Speaker 2: were doing the hype packages for everything before the show started.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Yes, in Earnest at noon at noon.
- 9:45Speaker 2: I think they started them at a Crisp No. No. Two,
- 9:49Speaker 2: and the first few matches that they were going through,
- 9:52Speaker 2: people were like sitting and watching the hype packages in silence,
- 9:55Speaker 2: and the second Tony Storm was on screen, the crowd
- 9:59Speaker 2: was feral.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Yeah, everyone erupted. The vibe was this is who everyone
- 10:04Speaker 1: is here to see, Yes, part of a triple main
- 10:08Speaker 1: event that I think. I think the other two were
- 10:12Speaker 1: just in the main event slots for like obligation, like
- 10:16Speaker 1: titles are involved once in a light, like once in
- 10:20Speaker 1: a lifetime for at least me to see yes type matches.
- 10:24Speaker 1: But people were there for the story and the title
- 10:28Speaker 1: for the Tony Storm one. It had a double whammy effect.
- 10:32Speaker 1: And not even mentioning Mercedes Spnett, Yeah, who did a
- 10:35Speaker 1: great job as Tony's opponent.
- 10:37Speaker 2: He was a brilliant match, a phenomenal pro wrestler, incredibly
- 10:42Speaker 2: entertaining to watch. I've loved everything she's done.
- 10:46Speaker 1: We got to watch her entrance from like right beside
- 10:49Speaker 1: because she drove like a convertible up the side of
- 10:53Speaker 1: the ramp, and because we were kind of off we
- 10:55Speaker 1: were on the ground floor, off to the side of
- 10:57Speaker 1: the production area, so it was a fantastic view. But
- 11:00Speaker 1: it also meant when special entrances were happening, we could
- 11:03Speaker 1: move to the side of the stage and watch them happen.
- 11:07Speaker 1: And the most magical thing to me was how Mercedes
- 11:11Speaker 1: was like not in character and just like staring straight
- 11:15Speaker 1: down while waiting for her queue to start her entrance,
- 11:19Speaker 1: and the second the spotlight hit her, she was like,
- 11:23Speaker 1: all of a sudden in character as Mercedes Manet.
- 11:26Speaker 2: It was like it was like a spirit descended into her. Yeah,
- 11:30Speaker 2: and it was just like, suddenly, you're at a twelve performance.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Why huh? Encapsulating this character on this huge stage That
- 11:42Speaker 2: translated to the back rows. She's such a phenomenal performer.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Yeah, the stage was the I mean basically the width
- 11:49Speaker 1: of a baseball stadium m m or a baseball field. Sorry, yes,
- 11:54Speaker 1: a field.
- 11:55Speaker 2: It wasn't.
- 11:55Speaker 1: It wasn't the whole stadium.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Let's not get crazy. Not everything's that big in.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Tech, Well, everything was smaller. What's that about.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 12:04Speaker 1: I kept seeing things and going, huh, that's smaller than
- 12:07Speaker 1: we have it in Colorado. Why why is the phrase
- 12:10Speaker 1: everything's bigger in Texas? When it was? It often isn't
- 12:15Speaker 1: it often often isn't look at us here talking about
- 12:20Speaker 1: wrestling like it's a fandom flashback from twenty twenty three.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Thirty seconds summarized the whole show. Couldn't if I tried.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I mean, I don't know if the wrestling
- 12:33Speaker 1: chat is interesting to anyone. But that's the fandom thing
- 12:36Speaker 1: that we have done this month. That has been what's
- 12:39Speaker 1: going on. We've been busy recording new episodes of Pandomonium,
- 12:42Speaker 1: new episodes of press Play, and yeah, this is the
- 12:46Speaker 1: big fandom trip we took, which was like our disney Land.
- 12:49Speaker 2: They didn't sell me ears though I want I wanted
- 12:51Speaker 2: some ears.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Who's which wrestlers? E is? Did you want on your head?
- 12:55Speaker 2: Tony's obviously? Obviously Tony's obviously Tony. Don't be a tart,
- 13:01Speaker 2: She says that I'm not just being cruel to Matt.
- 13:05Speaker 1: You can call me a slaptart.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Okay, you fucking slaptart.
- 13:08Speaker 1: I'll respond to that. All right, the future me will
- 13:11Speaker 1: play some music and then we'll come back for a
- 13:13Speaker 1: bit of chat, and then Matt versus Audra, Matt versus Odra.
- 13:17Speaker 2: All right, Hey, Matt, any more news on the next
- 13:21Speaker 2: live show.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Oh that's a great leading question. That can provide some
- 13:24Speaker 1: information to our listeners. Yes, we will be doing another
- 13:29Speaker 1: live show in September of this year, and then another
- 13:33Speaker 1: one in November of this year, and then in twenty
- 13:36Speaker 1: twenty six. We're gonna do monthly live shows and record
- 13:40Speaker 1: pandemoniums live once a month in front of an audience.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Yes, the energy of doing a live show is second
- 13:49Speaker 2: only to all In. Yes, but the second place is
- 13:53Speaker 2: doing a live show with the peak improv theater.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Yeah, it's our Pandemonium live shows that do that. It's
- 13:59Speaker 1: it's all In. It's you know, twenty five thousand screaming
- 14:03Speaker 1: fans in an arena, and then it's thirty people in
- 14:08Speaker 1: an improv theater. That is the next best.
- 14:11Speaker 2: High gosh, why does anyone do anything else?
- 14:15Speaker 3: Why?
- 14:15Speaker 1: Indeed, So, there'll be more news in the coming weeks
- 14:19Speaker 1: about the exact date of that September live show. We
- 14:22Speaker 1: are very much looking forward to it. Because you're listening
- 14:25Speaker 1: to Bonus Round and so you're a fan of what
- 14:27Speaker 1: we do here. I think i'll just reveal that we're
- 14:29Speaker 1: planning on doing a marvel episode for our next live show.
- 14:32Speaker 1: We are looking to do marvel Marvelous Marvelous, which I
- 14:38Speaker 1: think possibly was our first ever episode.
- 14:42Speaker 2: I wouldn't be surprised. It has been a great many
- 14:46Speaker 2: years since that happened. But I feel like since it's
- 14:51Speaker 2: one of the biggest fandoms, it was going to be
- 14:53Speaker 2: in our top three episodes, at least in our first
- 14:56Speaker 2: three ones that we were like, Okay, let's do this,
- 15:00Speaker 2: must do Marvel quickly or else? What even are we
- 15:02Speaker 2: doing here?
- 15:03Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like it's what people think of when they
- 15:05Speaker 1: think of fandoms, is like, oh, those comic book movies.
- 15:08Speaker 1: That's fandom, right, That's what that is. Comic con So.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Information about that will be up on our Patreon. You
- 15:15Speaker 2: can also follow us on Instagram at gateleapers Pod.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Yes, we will post it in both of those places

- 16:17Speaker 1: Have you spoken to the business manager yet?
- 16:19Speaker 2: By the way, I've been avoiding Antonio like the plug.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I just I don't like how he talks to me
- 16:24Speaker 1: in emails. So maybe I'll start see seeing you in
- 16:28Speaker 1: or BCC, BCC, b C seing you in on those
- 16:32Speaker 1: and see what you think. We've been told to like
- 16:34Speaker 1: do more of those plug things, and that we should
- 16:36Speaker 1: constantly be on this plug train. I think we should
- 16:40Speaker 1: just entertain. I think we should just do what we
- 16:43Speaker 1: do and not bother with the plugs.
- 16:45Speaker 2: But is he right?
- 16:46Speaker 1: I don't really care if he's right. The man's an ass.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll think about it. I'll mull it over.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I can't believe you might be taking Antonio's side. But
- 16:56Speaker 1: that's okay.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Enough of this will decide how we feel about Antonio. Okay, Next,
- 17:02Speaker 2: I want to play a game. Oh all right, Jigsaw,
- 17:05Speaker 2: it's equally violent Matt versus Odra. Watch out for my
- 17:10Speaker 2: villain Era. Don't mess with the game's Masta captain power up.
- 17:15Speaker 2: I'm going to score all the points. Passing knowledge was enough.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome to your doom.
- 17:22Speaker 2: I just hope we have a lot of fun.
- 17:25Speaker 1: And ignore this sentence. If you're a goddamn Lisa, you're
- 17:28Speaker 1: going down.
- 17:30Speaker 2: I want to fight, so welcome Aaron Randolph. Hello, welcome,
- 17:39Speaker 2: Hi guys.
- 17:40Speaker 3: I'm excited to continue our contests, this battle of wills
- 17:45Speaker 3: between the two of you, because Matt started a comeback
- 17:48Speaker 3: and if he gets one more win, it's all tied
- 17:51Speaker 3: up and it's going to come down to the last
- 17:53Speaker 3: four games to determine who's going to win over the
- 17:56Speaker 3: course of the year.
- 17:57Speaker 1: That's right, that's right. We all pop way through the
- 17:59Speaker 1: second act of this story. The redemption is on. I'm
- 18:04Speaker 1: looking to tie it today, get things to four to four,
- 18:07Speaker 1: and then we can focus on that third and final
- 18:09Speaker 1: act where it's anyone's game.
- 18:11Speaker 2: I'm starting to get a little nervous. I still was like, oh,
- 18:15Speaker 2: this is fine in my spirit after the last one,
- 18:19Speaker 2: I think, But now as it approaches, it's like, it's
- 18:23Speaker 2: go time. I've gotta I've gotta win if I want
- 18:27Speaker 2: to keep this.
- 18:28Speaker 1: That's fair lead because this is actually the most important
- 18:32Speaker 1: thing in our lives right now. Aha, this is the
- 18:34Speaker 1: competition that, this is the thing that really matters.
- 18:37Speaker 3: This is the thing that really matters. Wow. Okay, well
- 18:39Speaker 3: you know in that case, I'm not going to keep
- 18:41Speaker 3: you waiting any longer. Let's get to it, shall we.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Let's do it.
- 18:47Speaker 3: This is Anddre. She's a scientist. He's Matt, he's a
- 18:52Speaker 3: games master, and they're here to play Hot Potato. Yeah.
- 19:00Speaker 3: I love this.
- 19:00Speaker 1: I have no idea what it is, but I love it.
- 19:02Speaker 3: And welcome me your host, Pantherseran, Hi, what a gang?
- 19:08Speaker 1: Hello, Hello Hot Potato. I mean I'm already sold on
- 19:11Speaker 1: the name alone.
- 19:13Speaker 2: These potatoes are hot.
- 19:16Speaker 3: Oh, I believe it.
- 19:17Speaker 1: I believe it Python.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Yeah, let's just let's just get straight into it. So
- 19:20Speaker 3: this is a game from I believe nineteen eighty three.
- 19:24Speaker 3: It's it's very similar to the list actually, because you're
- 19:27Speaker 3: gonna be playing a single question with multiple correct answers. However,
- 19:32Speaker 3: this was designed from the beginning to be a versus game,
- 19:35Speaker 3: whereas the list is more of a co op thing,
- 19:37Speaker 3: and the original show was two teams of three and
- 19:40Speaker 3: the goal in each game was to either give the
- 19:42Speaker 3: seventh correct answer to win the game for your team,
- 19:46Speaker 3: or eliminate all three of the other players. In either
- 19:50Speaker 3: case you could win the round. Now that having been said,
- 19:53Speaker 3: there's only two of you, so instead, you're each going
- 19:56Speaker 3: to have three lives on your turn. Once you what
- 20:00Speaker 3: the question is, you'll be given the choice to whether
- 20:02Speaker 3: play or challenge. If you play and give a right answer,
- 20:05Speaker 3: you stay in the game and the count of correct
- 20:07Speaker 3: answers goes up. If you give an incorrect answer, you
- 20:10Speaker 3: lose a life and control passes to the other team.
- 20:12Speaker 3: If you challenge, the other player has to give a
- 20:14Speaker 3: correct answer. If they do, you lose a life. If
- 20:18Speaker 3: they fail, they lose a life and you maintain control.
- 20:22Speaker 3: So this is going to be a game of both
- 20:25Speaker 3: nerves and wits. And yeah, so let's put your team
- 20:29Speaker 3: names up there. Audrey, you are these scientists, met you
- 20:33Speaker 3: are the games masters, because they all they all had
- 20:36Speaker 3: something in common the team, so it would be the
- 20:38Speaker 3: beekeepers or the firefighters or whatever. Yeah, so it was
- 20:42Speaker 3: just for a bit of fun. I thought I would
- 20:44Speaker 3: put that up there as well. So shall we get
- 20:46Speaker 3: to it. Let's get to it.
- 20:47Speaker 1: But Aaron will have to find some of the games
- 20:49Speaker 1: masters one day and get together a team of games
- 20:51Speaker 1: masters to go on a game show.
- 20:53Speaker 3: To play a game. Didn't we'd have to find yet
- 20:55Speaker 3: another game semester to run it. All right, but I'm
- 21:01Speaker 3: down if you are, that would be that would be
- 21:03Speaker 3: a lot of fun. All right, shall we get to it.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Let's do it. Let's do it. Yeah, okay, so this
- 21:08Speaker 3: game is going to be playing in up to three rounds.
- 21:11Speaker 3: The first team to get two rounds wins the entire game,
- 21:14Speaker 3: and we'll go to the bonus game for a chance
- 21:16Speaker 3: to win up to fifty dollars for your chosen charity.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Oh incredible, So fingers crossed, let's get to it. Here
- 21:22Speaker 3: is our first game. We have here a list of
- 21:25Speaker 3: the top ten Marvel movies by Worldwide Box Office. If
- 21:32Speaker 3: you can give me the seventh correct answer, you will
- 21:34Speaker 3: win the game for your team, or you can try
- 21:36Speaker 3: and eliminate the other three, Audre, as you lost the
- 21:38Speaker 3: last game, I'm going to give you control first.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I would like to challenge.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Oh, very quick, bring a challenge out. Who would you
- 21:47Speaker 3: like to Well, obviously there's only one choice, Matt.
- 21:51Speaker 2: I would like I would specifically like to challenge Matt two.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Okay, can I turn this one off? I don't know. No,
- 22:00Speaker 3: I can't. So it's gonna be you're both challenged. Do
- 22:02Speaker 3: you like that? Okay?
- 22:04Speaker 1: Both three of me.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Somehow, I've already broken the game. It's not even five
- 22:09Speaker 3: minutes in. Matt, can you name any of the top
- 22:13Speaker 3: ten Marvel movies by worldwide box office?
- 22:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with Avengers End Game?
- 22:20Speaker 3: Avengers Endgame? Is that a correct answer? Yes? It is,
- 22:25Speaker 3: absolutely is. It's number one. Matt, well done. So Matt
- 22:30Speaker 3: two stays in control and I'm afraid Audre loses her
- 22:33Speaker 3: first life. You're all right, Matt. You are in control now.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Audre has two lives to your three. You can continue
- 22:42Speaker 3: to give me correct answers. I'm gonna try for another answer. Okay,
- 22:45Speaker 3: what do you want to say?
- 22:46Speaker 1: Avengers Infinity War.
- 22:49Speaker 3: Avengers Infinity War is that one of the top ten
- 22:52Speaker 3: by worldwide Box office? Yes? It is, and Avengers Infinity
- 22:58Speaker 3: War here is on the screen. There you go. That's
- 23:01Speaker 3: number two with two point zero billion dollars worldwide. I
- 23:04Speaker 3: don't know if I said, but endgame was two point seven.
- 23:07Speaker 3: It's a lot of dollars.
- 23:09Speaker 2: That's a lot of dollars many It's a lot of.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Dollars for the same characters over and over again. It's incredible.
- 23:17Speaker 3: All right, So we're gonna move control over to Matt
- 23:19Speaker 3: three because we can. Matt, would you would you like
- 23:23Speaker 3: to give an answer or challenge?
- 23:25Speaker 1: Well, Match three has a different kind of person out
- 23:28Speaker 1: of he lives in the shadow realm.
- 23:33Speaker 2: We're keeping him.
- 23:35Speaker 3: Okay, whoa okay?
- 23:37Speaker 1: All right, Mat three would like to say Avengers Age
- 23:39Speaker 1: of Ultron.
- 23:40Speaker 3: The Avengers Age of Ultron. Is that on this list?
- 23:44Speaker 3: Yes it is. It is number five. Avengers Age of
- 23:49Speaker 3: Ultron garnered one point four billion dollars at the box
- 23:53Speaker 3: office worldwide. Three answers down. We go back to Matt one,
- 23:57Speaker 3: who never got a chance.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Actually, so that yeah, and that's just the regular me.
- 24:02Speaker 1: So I'll be using my normal broadcast voice. Okay, fair enough,
- 24:07Speaker 1: I okay. So it went by a couple of different
- 24:10Speaker 1: names in different countries. But what I mean is it
- 24:14Speaker 1: was called the Avengers, but it was also called Avengers
- 24:17Speaker 1: Assemble elsewhere, so it was like the first Avengers film.
- 24:20Speaker 3: I will accept your answer as the Avengers as it happens.
- 24:25Speaker 3: You're right, it's number four. So Avengers the first one
- 24:29Speaker 3: actually made more than Age of Ultron. It made one
- 24:31Speaker 3: point five billion.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Oh okay, okay, all right.
- 24:35Speaker 3: So there are six correct answers left on this list.
- 24:37Speaker 3: Kareem more to win the round, and we swing over
- 24:40Speaker 3: to Matt two. What do you want to do? Do
- 24:42Speaker 3: you want to answer or challenge?
- 24:45Speaker 1: I've taken up all the Avengers ones. I think I'd
- 24:47Speaker 1: now like to challenge Udra because I don't know what
- 24:51Speaker 1: could be next.
- 24:51Speaker 3: So, and since apparently we can choose which Odro would
- 24:55Speaker 3: you like to challenge?
- 24:56Speaker 1: I want to know what's going on in Uldra three,
- 24:59Speaker 1: So let's challenge three Oudre three.
- 25:01Speaker 3: It is hi Odre three. Hi Audre three is a
- 25:08Speaker 3: bit timid. Yeah, uh, you do have to give me
- 25:12Speaker 3: an answer now.
- 25:14Speaker 2: So it was poor strategy on Audre one to throw
- 25:18Speaker 2: it over, because she did. Matt did name almost all
- 25:21Speaker 2: of the Marvel movies that I think would definitely be
- 25:24Speaker 2: up here. Uh, fuck it, let's say Captain America.
- 25:28Speaker 3: Captain America.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Let's go with the first one, because I don't remember
- 25:32Speaker 2: if Winter Soldier was more popular to everyone or just
- 25:36Speaker 2: to me.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Is Captain America on this list? It is not. I'm afraid.
- 25:46Speaker 3: So that means we are going to lose Audre three
- 25:50Speaker 3: and we swing control over to Matt three. Oudre has
- 25:55Speaker 3: just one life left.
- 25:58Speaker 1: I think i'd like to take an It tempted to answer.
- 26:01Speaker 1: I can't remember if this is the voice I was
- 26:03Speaker 1: doing for Matt three, but it's what it is now.
- 26:06Speaker 3: It sounds vaguely shadow realmy.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Somewhat shadow relmans. Yes, I'm going to go with Uh,
- 26:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with Thor Love and Thunder.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Thor Love and Thunder is Thor Love and Thunder on
- 26:19Speaker 3: this list. No, it's not mad, I'm sorry. That, unfortunately
- 26:24Speaker 3: means you are going to go to the bench and
- 26:27Speaker 3: Odra too. You now have control. Let's say you don't
- 26:33Speaker 3: have to play. You can challenge, but you might want
- 26:37Speaker 3: to play. Okay, Oh, I was gonna say, you might
- 26:40Speaker 3: want to play if you think you can take more
- 26:41Speaker 3: correct answers off that list that he doesn't get the guests, but.
- 26:45Speaker 2: It's yours is I have if I still had one life,
- 26:51Speaker 2: like if I still had an extra, Yeah, then I
- 26:55Speaker 2: might go for that.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Okay. In that case, you want to challenge Met one
- 26:59Speaker 3: or Met two.
- 27:00Speaker 2: I'm gonna challenge Matt one.
- 27:02Speaker 3: Okay, the original.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Okay, the original.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Except no substitutes. Matt. This is for the game. If
- 27:08Speaker 3: you can give me a correct answer, you will knock
- 27:10Speaker 3: Audra out and that will be the round for you.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Okay. I'm thinking the era of like the peak popularity,
- 27:17Speaker 1: and then also sequel is what's gonna trigger this maybe,
- 27:21Speaker 1: so I'm gonna say Captain America Civil War.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Captain America Civil War. If Captain America Civil War is
- 27:28Speaker 3: on this list, then you've won this round. If not,
- 27:31Speaker 3: Oudre has knocked out Matt's second life, and it will
- 27:34Speaker 3: just be one v one. Is Captain America Civil War
- 27:38Speaker 3: on this list? Yes it is, Yes, that is round
- 27:44Speaker 3: the first two. Matt Captain America Civil War was ninth
- 27:48Speaker 3: on this list. Okay, at one point one five billion dollars.
- 27:53Speaker 3: Well bad pay. So sadly, Oudre, the the first one
- 27:57Speaker 3: was not on the list.
- 27:58Speaker 2: So oh well, was Winter Soldier on the list?
- 28:02Speaker 3: No? Actually, I go ahead and reveal unless you have
- 28:05Speaker 3: any more guesses.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Probably not, but one of the maybe iron Man three,
- 28:10Speaker 1: just because that was also like a big sequel.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Yeah, iron Man three is the best pick. It's the
- 28:14Speaker 3: only iron Man movie on this list. At one point
- 28:17Speaker 3: two billion dollars, it would have been number eight the
- 28:21Speaker 3: remaining ones, number three. The third biggest Marvel movie was
- 28:26Speaker 3: spider Man No Way Home.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Oh, I forgot this spot Man.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Yeah, one billion dollars.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Yeah. Number six brought back into the fold.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Yeah. Number six was Deadpool and Wolverine of course, at
- 28:41Speaker 3: one point three three eight billion dollars. Number seven, just
- 28:45Speaker 3: just behind it was Black Panther at one point three
- 28:49Speaker 3: three four billion dollars. And then finally the last one
- 28:53Speaker 3: on the list, number ten was Spider Man Far From Home,
- 28:56Speaker 3: which garnered one point one three billion dollars.
- 29:00Speaker 1: When's that kick going to get home? Who is that kid.
- 29:04Speaker 2: So hard services get him home?
- 29:08Speaker 3: All right, we're going to move on to our second game,
- 29:12Speaker 3: and Audrey, you really need this one, so best of luck. Yeah,
- 29:16Speaker 3: and because you lost the round, you will again start
- 29:18Speaker 3: in control. And here's what this round is about, Audre.
- 29:22Speaker 3: I have here a list of the top ten shakespeare
- 29:26Speaker 3: plays by total number of lines? What are the wordiest
- 29:33Speaker 3: Shakespeare plays of all time? If you can give me
- 29:36Speaker 3: the seventh correct answer, or knock out all three of
- 29:39Speaker 3: Matt's lives, you can win this round. We're going to
- 29:42Speaker 3: start with Audrey number one. What would you like to do?
- 29:44Speaker 3: Would you like to take a stab at it? Or
- 29:47Speaker 3: do you want to try and challenge?
- 29:49Speaker 2: I am going to take a stab at it?
- 29:51Speaker 3: Okay, And what would you like to go with?
- 29:53Speaker 2: I think I'm going to start with Hamlet.
- 29:56Speaker 3: Hamlet is Hamlet one of the wordiest plays in Shakespeare's repertoire. Yeah,
- 30:03Speaker 3: absolutely it is. It's number one. It's the best choice.
- 30:07Speaker 3: Hamlet has four thousand and thirty lines. Oh wow, yeah,
- 30:12Speaker 3: that's a lot. Uh. Audre maintains control when we move
- 30:16Speaker 3: over to Oudred two.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Imagine if it was about a big pigan, not a
- 30:19Speaker 1: small pig. Imagine how long.
- 30:20Speaker 2: They had It was originally about a ham but then
- 30:27Speaker 2: we are going over seven thousand. We have got to
- 30:30Speaker 2: make this about a tinier pig. Imagine a smaller pig.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Here, Oder, what do you want to do? Do you
- 30:36Speaker 3: want to play or challenge?
- 30:38Speaker 2: Last time I was very like challenge heavy and it
- 30:41Speaker 2: bit me, and so I think I'm probably just gonna
- 30:44Speaker 2: go until I can't.
- 30:45Speaker 3: All right, what do you want to give me next?
- 30:48Speaker 2: Let go for like one of the historical ones. Let's
- 30:53Speaker 2: go for like Julius Caesar.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Is Julius Caesar one of the ten wordiest Shakespeare plays. No,
- 31:01Speaker 3: it's not. I'm afraid that is incorrectly, you were losing
- 31:06Speaker 3: one of your three lives.
- 31:07Speaker 2: I think I went for that just because of taking
- 31:09Speaker 2: a stab at it, and then my brain just was
- 31:12Speaker 2: like Caesar Caesar.
- 31:14Speaker 3: It is sadly not one of the top ten. But Matt,
- 31:18Speaker 3: what would you like to do? Do you want to
- 31:19Speaker 3: play or do you want to challenge?
- 31:21Speaker 1: I think I'm going to play.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Okay, what do you want to say?
- 31:24Speaker 1: I remember Macbeth being quite worthy. I think it goes
- 31:28Speaker 1: on for quite a while. Okay, so I'm gonna say Macbeth.
- 31:31Speaker 3: You're saying Macbeth is Macbeth one of the top ten
- 31:34Speaker 3: wordy as Shakespeare plays. No it's not. Oh wow, I'm sorry, Matt.
- 31:40Speaker 3: That benches you that you're down one life and we
- 31:43Speaker 3: swing back over to Audra three.
- 31:46Speaker 2: I feel like one of them timid one. Oh thank
- 31:51Speaker 2: you for reminding me of my characters. I feel like
- 31:54Speaker 2: I'm gonna play, and I think that one of the
- 31:59Speaker 2: history is probably going to be really, really long, But
- 32:02Speaker 2: I can't remember any of the names of who any
- 32:06Speaker 2: of those histories is about exactly. I'm probably just gonna
- 32:09Speaker 2: say the Tempest.
- 32:14Speaker 3: The Tempest is the Tempest one of the top ten
- 32:18Speaker 3: wordiest Shakespeare plays. No, that's wrong. I'm sorry. Odra, you
- 32:23Speaker 3: are down two lives. You're just one life left, and
- 32:26Speaker 3: Matt two takes control. Matt there's six more answers to
- 32:31Speaker 3: get to number seven, but Odra also only has one
- 32:34Speaker 3: life left.
- 32:35Speaker 1: The smart thing would be to challenge Odra now. But
- 32:40Speaker 1: Matt two's a little cocky. He talks the same as
- 32:43Speaker 1: Matt one, but he's a little cockier, okay, And I
- 32:45Speaker 1: think he likes the idea that there's a historical thing
- 32:48Speaker 1: in here, and he wants to try and win this
- 32:51Speaker 1: nobly with potentially some English history knowledge. So I'm gonna
- 32:53Speaker 1: say of Richard the Third.
- 32:55Speaker 3: Is Richard the Third one of the ten wordiest Shakespeare plays. Yes,
- 33:00Speaker 3: it is, okay. It's number four with three thousand, seven
- 33:05Speaker 3: hundred and eighteen lines.
- 33:07Speaker 1: It's a lot of lines.
- 33:08Speaker 3: Matt has taken a correct answer off the board, and
- 33:11Speaker 3: Matt three takes control.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Ah, the shuttle realm changed every time.
- 33:18Speaker 3: That's a little more Connery this time around.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Yeah, well, he was a mysteriously terrible man. He belongs
- 33:27Speaker 1: in the shadow realm. I think I'm going to challenge Geordra.
- 33:31Speaker 1: I'm from the shadow realm.
- 33:33Speaker 3: Okay, Odra, We're in a make or break situation. If
- 33:37Speaker 3: you give me an incorrect answer, then Matt wins the
- 33:40Speaker 3: round and the game.
- 33:42Speaker 2: I had it in my head none of my previous
- 33:45Speaker 2: methodologies for how to determine it have been successful so far.
- 33:49Speaker 2: So let's go for another route.
- 33:52Speaker 3: Okay.
- 33:52Speaker 2: And I had it in my head that it's probably
- 33:55Speaker 2: not going to be the comedies. Okay, that there's probably
- 33:58Speaker 2: not comedies. So my instincts have and wrong. And so
- 34:01Speaker 2: let's go for something like as you Like It.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Okay. If as you Like It is on this list,
- 34:11Speaker 3: then Audre has tied the game up and she takes control.
- 34:15Speaker 3: If it's not, Matt has won the round the game,
- 34:20Speaker 3: and he has tied up the entire series. It is
- 34:26Speaker 3: as you Like It one of Shakespeare's wordiest plays. It
- 34:30Speaker 3: is not and Matt takes round two. Oh, Odra, I'm
- 34:36Speaker 3: so sorry you were Believe it or not, you were
- 34:39Speaker 3: on the right track. You were just picking the wrong histories.
- 34:46Speaker 3: I'll go through the list, but does anyone have any
- 34:49Speaker 3: guesses they want to throw out before I get to it.
- 34:51Speaker 1: I feel like he might have made Henry the eighth
- 34:54Speaker 1: quite long to appease Elizabeth. So nope the eighth now.
- 34:58Speaker 3: Nope, not on this list. There was only one other kingly,
- 35:03Speaker 3: Uh well, I guess English kingly on this list. It
- 35:09Speaker 3: was the last one. Henry the fourth Part two was
- 35:12Speaker 3: ten was number ten and had three thousand, two hundred
- 35:15Speaker 3: fifty five lines, But the others uh. Coriolanus was second
- 35:21Speaker 3: with three thousand, eight hundred and twenty four. Cymbaline was
- 35:25Speaker 3: third with three thousand, seven hundred and fifty three. Anthony
- 35:28Speaker 3: and Cleopatra was fifth with three thousand, five hundred seventy three.
- 35:33Speaker 3: Othello was sixth with three thousand, five hundred and sixty.
- 35:38Speaker 3: King Lear was seventh with three thousand, four hundred ninety nine.
- 35:42Speaker 3: Troylsten Cressida was eighth with three thousand, four hundred eighty six.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Would that one and not the Tempest but probably one
- 35:50Speaker 3: of his lesser known dramas. Winter's Tale was ninety with
- 35:54Speaker 3: three thousand, three hundred and sixty two oudra. I'm sorry, but.
- 35:59Speaker 2: I knew some of those plays you did.
- 36:02Speaker 3: But I'm sure you're gonna do better next time. All right,
- 36:07Speaker 3: But for now, Matt, why don't you come with me.
- 36:09Speaker 3: We're gonna play the bonus game.
- 36:10Speaker 1: All right, let's do it.
- 36:15Speaker 3: The way this works. I'm gonna give you pairs of answers,
- 36:20Speaker 3: and you've just tell me which one is the highest,
- 36:23Speaker 3: the most whatever I'm asking. Sure, in this case, I
- 36:27Speaker 3: took a cue from you. We are doing the heights
- 36:30Speaker 3: of fictional characters, so excellent. I'm gonna give you two
- 36:34Speaker 3: fictional characters, and all you have to do is tell
- 36:37Speaker 3: me which one's taller.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Got it?
- 36:39Speaker 3: So every time you're right, that'll add five dollars to
- 36:45Speaker 3: UH to your pool. Once you decide to play on,
- 36:48Speaker 3: you are risking the money you've already won, and you
- 36:51Speaker 3: have to give an answer. You do, however, have a pass.
- 36:54Speaker 3: If at any time you see two answers and you
- 36:56Speaker 3: don't think you can give me the correct one, you
- 36:59Speaker 3: can pass. We'll replace those with two more answers. If
- 37:02Speaker 3: at any point you see one set that you don't
- 37:04Speaker 3: like that you don't think you can answer? You do
- 37:06Speaker 3: have a pass?
- 37:07Speaker 1: Okay, all right, yep, ready, I'm ready.
- 37:10Speaker 3: Let's get started. Our first pair of answers. Who's taller
- 37:15Speaker 3: Han Solo or Chewbacca?
- 37:17Speaker 1: Okay, Chewbacca's gotta be taller's and Chewbacca.
- 37:20Speaker 3: Chewbacca all right? For five dollars? Is Chewbacca taller? Yes,
- 37:25Speaker 3: of course he is. That is five dollars into your
- 37:28Speaker 3: prize fund. Let's move on to your next set. Oh wait,
- 37:31Speaker 3: do you want to move on to your next set?
- 37:32Speaker 3: Do you want to stop and take five? I wouldn't.
- 37:35Speaker 1: I would like to move on to the next set. Okay,
- 37:37Speaker 1: let's go for it. It's a safe assumption.
- 37:39Speaker 3: For your next set of two, we have Lady Dimittrescu
- 37:44Speaker 3: or Optimus Crime.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Oh and Taller, both very tall. I think I've not
- 37:51Speaker 1: played the game that Lady Dimit tests Lady Greek Lady
- 37:57Speaker 1: is from.
- 37:58Speaker 3: The tall the tall, very white lady from Resident Evil Village.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Yes, but I think I remember her still being like
- 38:06Speaker 1: stood in rooms and like in interior, whereas Optimus Prime
- 38:10Speaker 1: is like massive on the side of like the observatory
- 38:14Speaker 1: in California and stuff like that. So I'm gonna say
- 38:16Speaker 1: Optimus Prime is taller.
- 38:18Speaker 3: You're gonna say Optimist Prime is taller for ten dollars
- 38:20Speaker 3: or nothing. Lady Dematresciu is nine foot six, Optimus Prime
- 38:27Speaker 3: is nineteen foot eight. Absolutely right, You're up to ten dollars.
- 38:32Speaker 3: Oh I should have mentioned Han Solo is six to one.
- 38:34Speaker 3: Chewbacca's seven foot six. So there it is, all right, single, Yeah, Matt,
- 38:41Speaker 3: you've got ten dollars. You can stop now and keep it,
- 38:43Speaker 3: or you can go for five more.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Let's go for five more. Let's go, let's go.
- 38:48Speaker 3: Here's your next set. Who's taller? Thor Odinson or Clint
- 38:52Speaker 3: Barton aka Hawkeye?
- 38:54Speaker 1: Thank you very much for that.
- 38:56Speaker 3: Now, this is according to the comics, not movie.
- 39:02Speaker 1: Good point, because yes, I would assume that old Thor
- 39:09Speaker 1: played by that Australian guy whose name is escaping me.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Probably Chris A.
- 39:15Speaker 1: Hemsworth. That's it, one of the Hemsworth's. Chris Hemsworth exactly.
- 39:20Speaker 3: Someone who's worth multiple hems.
- 39:23Speaker 1: And I believe he is taller than Jeremy Renner. But
- 39:26Speaker 1: this is comics, Yes, so what do you say? So?
- 39:31Speaker 1: Because you've queued it up like that. I'm gonna say
- 39:34Speaker 1: that it's the opposite of what I would instinctively think
- 39:37Speaker 1: it is, and I'm gonna say Hawkeye is taller. According
- 39:39Speaker 1: to the comics, bor Odinson is six foot six. Oh god,
- 39:45Speaker 1: oh god, Clint.
- 39:47Speaker 3: Barton is six foot three. So it's a double bluff.
- 39:52Speaker 3: I'm afraid it was a double bluff. But I'll tell
- 39:55Speaker 3: you what, because it's for charity, I'm gonna throw your
- 39:57Speaker 3: pass away and I'm gonna let you move on anyway.
- 40:00Speaker 1: Okay, thank you.
- 40:00Speaker 3: Right now, there's now there's only three sets of questions left,
- 40:05Speaker 3: and at this point you have to give me an
- 40:08Speaker 3: answer on each one, so there's no pass anymore. Yes,
- 40:10Speaker 3: all right, So here's your next set of answers. Who's taller,
- 40:15Speaker 3: Sailor Moon or Peter Parker?
- 40:18Speaker 1: Oh interesting, Okay. In the comics, Peter Parker is going
- 40:22Speaker 1: to be pretty short because he's still a high schooler,
- 40:26Speaker 1: so potentially still a couple of inches growing left to do.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Sale Moon is Salo Moon, one of those ones who's
- 40:32Speaker 1: actually like thousands of years old from like a cosmos
- 40:35Speaker 1: far away, so Sala Moon might actually have some kind
- 40:39Speaker 1: of god height. I'm gonna say Sala Moon is taller.
- 40:41Speaker 1: I think I think that Sala Moon is taller.
- 40:43Speaker 3: Peter Parker is five foot ten, okay, Sailor Moon is
- 40:49Speaker 3: four foot eleven. O. What who?
- 40:53Speaker 1: Why is he a short king?
- 40:57Speaker 3: I mean compared to some of the other uh, you know, superheroes. Yes,
- 41:02Speaker 3: he is short, but Sailor Moon is even shorter. I'm
- 41:05Speaker 3: afraid so.
- 41:06Speaker 2: I don't know why I assumed Sailor Moon was six
- 41:09Speaker 2: to one.
- 41:11Speaker 1: I genuinely I was picturing like the anime. They all
- 41:14Speaker 1: just seem really tall in like the.
- 41:17Speaker 3: Some of them Mars at least one of the sailors
- 41:20Speaker 3: is like six foot three you know. Okay, but Sailor
- 41:24Speaker 3: Moon herself is not the tallest of the sailors. So
- 41:30Speaker 3: I'm afraid this bonus round did not work out. I
- 41:34Speaker 3: will be donating a token five dollars donation to you know,
- 41:39Speaker 3: your charity of choice.
- 41:40Speaker 1: It will be again Doctors Without Borders, and we will
- 41:43Speaker 1: also do a token twenty dollar donation. Absolutely messing up.
- 41:50Speaker 1: These heights are not great with numbers.
- 41:55Speaker 2: It seems all right, give them twenty bucks on it.
- 41:58Speaker 3: I have two more sets. Let's do them for fun,
- 42:01Speaker 3: shall we. Let's do it Ell yeah, okay, for the
- 42:03Speaker 3: audience listening at home, and for just for funzies here
- 42:07Speaker 3: in the studio. Who's taller Papyrus from Undertail or Doctor Doom.
- 42:14Speaker 1: Everyone in entertail is really short because they're tiny little
- 42:18Speaker 1: avatars on a yeah, sixteen bit, how would they even
- 42:23Speaker 1: be measured?
- 42:23Speaker 2: I feel like it's one of those things where if
- 42:26Speaker 2: you go in the Undertail wiki, Papyrus is secretly a
- 42:31Speaker 2: genuine seven footer?
- 42:32Speaker 1: Should should we go with Papyrus?
- 42:34Speaker 2: Then?
- 42:35Speaker 1: I thought Papyrus was maybe one of the little guys.
- 42:38Speaker 2: But I don't. I'm gonna be real. I don't know
- 42:41Speaker 2: who Papyrus is, and.
- 42:42Speaker 1: So picturing a creature, but I'm now thinking it might
- 42:47Speaker 1: be something else. I mean, Doctor Doom is pretty physically imposing.
- 42:50Speaker 1: They'd want the villain in a mask to be like pretty.
- 42:53Speaker 1: I reckon Doctor Dum's.
- 42:54Speaker 2: At last six foot Okay, I'm not gonna look up
- 43:00Speaker 2: his height.
- 43:01Speaker 3: I was gonna say that's cheating, but I do want.
- 43:03Speaker 2: To just see him. I feel like this guy, they're
- 43:06Speaker 2: gonna say he's a genuine seven footer.
- 43:08Speaker 1: All right, then we'll go with Papyrus.
- 43:10Speaker 3: You're going with Papyrus, Okay? Doctor doom is six foot seven.
- 43:16Speaker 3: Oh god, Papyrus is a genuine seven footer. He's seven
- 43:21Speaker 3: foot four. Yes, yes, hell yeah, well done. And lastly, uh,
- 43:27Speaker 3: probably my favorite of the bunch. Who's taller Bruce Wayne
- 43:32Speaker 3: or Tony Stark. It's the dick measuring of the billionaires
- 43:38Speaker 3: again again it is it is canonic to the comics,
- 43:42Speaker 3: But which one of these two is canonically taller?
- 43:46Speaker 1: Now, Robert Downey Jr. Tiny tiny men, But this is
- 43:49Speaker 1: this is comics, But.
- 43:51Speaker 2: This is comics. I do I have something in my
- 43:55Speaker 2: mind that says Bruce Wayne is going to be taller, Okay,
- 43:58Speaker 2: but I don't. I don't know. I was right on
- 44:00Speaker 2: the last one, and so.
- 44:02Speaker 1: I could see them being like an inch or two apart.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Like if they're writing these like billionaire characters, they'll be like, oh, yeah,
- 44:08Speaker 1: they're just six foot six foot one, that kind of thing.
- 44:11Speaker 2: So is this with their special boots? Uh?
- 44:13Speaker 3: No, this is just them as themselves. Otherwise it would
- 44:18Speaker 3: have been bat versus Batman versus iron Man. That's true.
- 44:21Speaker 1: This is just Bruce versus Towny, your Dad's mates. Let's
- 44:30Speaker 1: go with Bruce Wayne. Then let's say Batman's told.
- 44:33Speaker 3: Okay, Uh this is the one in which I was
- 44:37Speaker 3: the most a dick as a games master. Tony Stark
- 44:41Speaker 3: is six foot one, Bruce Wayne is six foot two.
- 44:45Speaker 3: So you win within Yes, right, it's a shame when
- 44:49Speaker 3: it counts. When it counts, you get right.
- 44:55Speaker 1: I needed as input. Yeah, because now that we're tied
- 44:58Speaker 1: at four four, I can say wholes some things like
- 45:00Speaker 1: because we work better as it it's even Stevens.
- 45:04Speaker 3: You're both evenly matched, which is fantastic. However, we are
- 45:08Speaker 3: going to break that tide next time when we come back.
- 45:11Speaker 3: One of you is gonna go five to four. Who
- 45:14Speaker 3: is it going to be?
- 45:16Speaker 1: Probably me?
- 45:17Speaker 2: Probably me? I was gonna say that.
- 45:22Speaker 3: I guess we'll find out.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Thank you so much, Aaron.
- 45:25Speaker 3: Thanks any time.
- 45:28Speaker 2: I tried my best, but all my strategies did not work.
- 45:32Speaker 1: It was a tough game. It's a tough game that
- 45:35Speaker 1: kind of hinged on Marvel knowledge, then Shakespeare knowledge, and
- 45:38Speaker 1: that's about it.
- 45:39Speaker 2: At this podcast, I should know a thing or two,
- 45:43Speaker 2: but you know what, I'll never I'll never regain my
- 45:47Speaker 2: former dominance being hard on myself. But who is dominant
- 45:52Speaker 2: is Aaron Randolph for doing these amazing games.
- 45:56Speaker 1: What a dominant writer?
- 45:58Speaker 2: Yes, if you love Aaron Randolph's games in this episode
- 46:02Speaker 2: and on all the previous ones, check out bfytw He's
