- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things.
- 0:02Speaker 2: We made it to Friday. Happy Friday friends. We are
- 0:05Speaker 2: just getting started over here. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:09Speaker 3: The Ashley Tiszail mom group drama is just constant. It's continuing.
- 0:14Speaker 3: So Ashley went viral this week for her article in
- 0:16Speaker 3: The Cut about being in a toxic mom group, one
- 0:19Speaker 3: that involves people like Hillary Duff and Meghan Trainer. So
- 0:22Speaker 3: Hillary's husband was very quick to bash her by mocking
- 0:26Speaker 3: Ashley's essay in a post that he posted online with
- 0:29Speaker 3: his own fake headline that said, when you're the most
- 0:32Speaker 3: self obsessed, tone deaf person on Earth, other moms tend
- 0:35Speaker 3: to shift focus to their actual toddlers. Now everyone else
- 0:39Speaker 3: is getting in on it. So Meghan had posted a
- 0:42Speaker 3: TikTok of her reaction to finding out about the drama,
- 0:46Speaker 3: and Hillary seems to be alluding to it as well
- 0:48Speaker 3: in story posts. So there's a lot going on here.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Nobody's really saying that much, but they're all, you know,
- 0:55Speaker 3: stirring the pot right now. At this point, it seems like, uh,
- 0:59Speaker 3: there's not to be any i'm sorries happening anytime soon,
- 1:04Speaker 3: So keep you posted on that. The grand ol Opry
- 1:07Speaker 3: is celebrating Dolly Parton's eightieth birthday. This year, they're doing
- 1:11Speaker 3: an Opry Goes Dolly show, so it's gonna feature special
- 1:14Speaker 3: guests like Vince Gill and Laney Wilson. It's happening Saturday,
- 1:17Speaker 3: January seventeenth. Dolly is not scheduled to be there, but
- 1:21Speaker 3: it is sure to be a great show to celebrate
- 1:24Speaker 3: who is truly an American treasure. Tickets are on sale
- 1:28Speaker 3: on the Opry's website if you're interested in checking that out.
- 1:31Speaker 3: And Stranger Things fans bet over fifteen million dollars on
- 1:36Speaker 3: the secret episode that ended up not existing, so conformity
- 1:40Speaker 3: Gate took over social media this week. The theory that
- 1:42Speaker 3: there was a secret episode coming out of Stranger Things,
- 1:45Speaker 3: that the finale that they gave us was just not real.
- 1:48Speaker 3: There was going to be more to the story. It
- 1:50Speaker 3: was super convincing. I started to really start to believe them.
- 1:55Speaker 3: The theory spread so fast that more than fifteen million
- 1:58Speaker 3: was bet on poll Mark, which is a gambling app,
- 2:01Speaker 3: with over fourteen million riding on January seventh, being the
- 2:06Speaker 3: date that the secret episode would air, despite the odds
- 2:09Speaker 3: being under one percent. Kind of crazy. We never got
- 2:12Speaker 3: that surprise episode. There never was a surprise episode. The
- 2:15Speaker 3: finale was really the finale. The Duffer brothers had changed
- 2:19Speaker 3: all of the social media that they had to say,
- 2:22Speaker 3: all episodes of Stranger Things were streaming because it really
- 2:25Speaker 3: did get out of hand. But all these people, you know,
- 2:28Speaker 3: they had really convincing arguments and a lot of theories
- 2:32Speaker 3: that made sense. Kevin and I were kind of just
- 2:34Speaker 3: riding the wave because it was just exciting to have
- 2:36Speaker 3: something that was fun to like.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Yeah, and even if there's no non secret episode, I
- 2:41Speaker 2: still enjoy the theories, like we can still you know,
- 2:44Speaker 2: hang on the fact that like, oh maybe this is
- 2:46Speaker 2: what really happened, you.
- 2:47Speaker 4: Know, I don't know. That makes, in my opinion, a
- 2:49Speaker 4: good finale.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Absolutely agree. I just wasn't willing to bet on it. Yeah, him,
- 2:53Speaker 3: Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you need
- 2:55Speaker 3: to know.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Thank you so much, Ricky, and again, Happy Friday.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Getting back into the music with We do have Demi
- 3:00Speaker 2: Levatto tickets on the way ten minutes, give us ten
- 3:03Speaker 2: minutes and the tickets are yours.

- 3:13Speaker 1: of the wait, our last first call of the You
- 3:16Speaker 1: don't even know what you're saying.
- 3:17Speaker 4: No, I don't at all. The last first caller of
- 3:19Speaker 4: the day of the week.
- 3:21Speaker 3: That's it. If you want Demi Levato tickets, you could
- 3:24Speaker 3: call us now six one five, seven through seven nine

- 3:31Speaker 3: so today is your last chance to get these.
- 3:34Speaker 4: And it's the first week of the year.
- 3:35Speaker 2: To make us where to God check, Let go six
- 3:38Speaker 2: one five, seven, three seven.
- 3:42Speaker 5: Wake up happy with Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 3:46Speaker 1: One seven five the River.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Kevin, I think what you were trying to say before
- 3:51Speaker 3: is that this is the first caller of the day,
- 3:54Speaker 3: last day of the week.
- 3:55Speaker 6: Well, yeah, here kin, I.
- 3:57Speaker 7: Guess yeah, you don't even know at all, first caller
- 4:00Speaker 7: of the week.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Okay, there he goes, Yeah, it's one of seven five
- 4:04Speaker 3: the River. Kevin does this thing. He likes to just
- 4:06Speaker 3: confuse everybody about what exactly is happening. But Leah in
- 4:10Speaker 3: spring Hill is on the line. Say good morning to Leah, morning,
- 4:13Speaker 3: good morning, how are you doing this morning?
- 4:16Speaker 5: Good?
- 4:16Speaker 7: How are you are you.
- 4:17Speaker 3: As happy as we are that it's Friday. I am
- 4:20Speaker 3: because I'm just now getting off work. Oh, night shift.
- 4:23Speaker 3: What do you do? I work at General Motors? Oh okay,
- 4:27Speaker 3: what do you do there? Build your engine? So cool?
- 4:31Speaker 4: You're doing it.
- 4:32Speaker 6: You're so smart.
- 4:35Speaker 5: Sack.
- 4:36Speaker 6: He's literally astonished.
- 4:38Speaker 3: If you could see his face right now, He's like, whoa,
- 4:40Speaker 3: I struggle putting.
- 4:41Speaker 6: A gas in my car and you're over here making engine.
- 4:43Speaker 3: That sounds about right.
- 4:44Speaker 6: Yeah? Wow?
- 4:45Speaker 4: Is that factory then?
- 4:46Speaker 2: If you're just getting off work, I mean, is it
- 4:47Speaker 2: twenty four to seven, just constantly running churning them out?
- 4:50Speaker 6: Yeah, it is mountain.
- 4:52Speaker 4: That's good.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Third ships like just started up in December, and so
- 4:56Speaker 3: my husband and myself went to third shift.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Okay, and so now your weekends arts right now?
- 5:00Speaker 1: Is that right?
- 5:01Speaker 3: My weekend starts out?
- 5:02Speaker 6: Oh what are you gonna do this weekend? Leah?
- 5:06Speaker 3: Our sign has basketball games, So that's we're gonna be
- 5:09Speaker 3: a kids sporting A bit.
- 5:10Speaker 6: That makes sense that checks out for the time of
- 5:12Speaker 6: the year.
- 5:12Speaker 3: I just got to say, like, for parents who have
- 5:15Speaker 3: kids that are in sports, you're amazing because the amount
- 5:18Speaker 3: of time that parents spend taking kids or if it's
- 5:22Speaker 3: like dance lessons or like you know, instruments that they're learning,
- 5:25Speaker 3: whatever it might be, just running around the amount of
- 5:29Speaker 3: time you stay in like sweaty, disgusting gyms.
- 5:33Speaker 6: Yeah, because I was.
- 5:34Speaker 3: A coach for lacrosse for many years and there's a
- 5:37Speaker 3: lot of just it's a lot of time and effort
- 5:39Speaker 3: that you're giving to these kids. So you're a great mom, Leah.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Thank you, You're welcome, and I mean your weekend starts now.
- 5:47Speaker 3: This is gonna be a great way to start it.
- 5:48Speaker 3: You are the first caller of the day on one
- 5:50Speaker 3: of seven five of the River, so you're getting these
- 5:52Speaker 3: tickets to see Demi Lovado a pergusal arena.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Yay, Demi's back. It's not that deep tour.
- 5:59Speaker 2: She's out there. We'll see her soon. Thank you for
- 6:01Speaker 2: starting your day with us, Leo. We appreciate you.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Thank y'all.
- 6:05Speaker 4: The last first caller of the day of the week.
- 6:07Speaker 4: That's what I was looking for.
- 6:08Speaker 6: There we go. You nailed a keV.
- 6:10Speaker 3: There are too many ways to say this at this point.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Yeah, if you want to be the first caller of
- 6:14Speaker 2: the new week next week, be here Monday morning, Kevin one.
- 6:17Speaker 1: O seven the River Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the morning.
- 6:21Speaker 3: There's always a lot to do in Nashville, so we
- 6:24Speaker 3: come together and we put together a list. Mostly Zach
- 6:26Speaker 3: actually puts together this list. Sometimes we add one or
- 6:29Speaker 3: two of things happening here in Nashville so that you
- 6:32Speaker 3: are up to date and you can decide what you
- 6:34Speaker 3: want to do this weekend. So Zach run down the
- 6:37Speaker 3: list on one of seven. Five the River.
- 6:38Speaker 7: Okay, so starting today, it goes all the way through
- 6:40Speaker 7: Sunday is the Antiques and Garden Show. It's at the
- 6:43Speaker 7: Music City Center and so the theme this year is
- 6:46Speaker 7: American Elegance, so they're going to be featuring impressive showcases
- 6:50Speaker 7: at antiques and horticulture fines with over one hundred and
- 6:53Speaker 7: fifty dealers, world class landscapers, special events like whatever you're
- 6:58Speaker 7: looking for they have at the antiquin Guard Show. Tickets
- 7:01Speaker 7: are only forty bucks and it goes all week and
- 7:03Speaker 7: long at the Music City Center.
- 7:05Speaker 6: Also, I thought this was so cool.
- 7:06Speaker 7: It's happening tomorrow at the Nashville Zoo from nine am
- 7:09Speaker 7: to two pm. It is the Blood Assurance Blood Drive.
- 7:12Speaker 7: So Blood Assurance is the blood supplier for all Nashville
- 7:15Speaker 7: area TriStar Hospitals. So if you go and you give blood,
- 7:19Speaker 7: all donors will receive a ticket to the zoo and
- 7:22Speaker 7: a blanket from Blood Assurance.
- 7:23Speaker 4: Nice.
- 7:23Speaker 6: Okay, so yeah, go get blood.
- 7:25Speaker 7: You can get into the zoo for free tomorrow from
- 7:27Speaker 7: nine am to two pm.
- 7:29Speaker 6: This one I've been talking about for like two days.
- 7:31Speaker 7: It's laser Taylor Swift at the Adventure Science Center.
- 7:34Speaker 3: He has really been talking about this for two days.
- 7:36Speaker 6: It's so cool.
- 7:37Speaker 7: So it's tomorrow and it's only thirteen dollars at the
- 7:40Speaker 7: Adventure Science Center. So basically they are going through all
- 7:43Speaker 7: of the eras of Taylor Swift and they put together
- 7:45Speaker 7: a forty minute laser show in their planetarium.
- 7:49Speaker 4: That's really I would love you.
- 7:50Speaker 6: This sick is that that.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Is very very cool.
- 7:52Speaker 7: If you're like Ricky and you're planning a wedding, the
- 7:55Speaker 7: Nashville Pink Bride Wedding and Women's Show is happening Sunday
- 7:58Speaker 7: at Nashville Fairgrounds. So this is like where you go
- 8:01Speaker 7: if you're planning a wedding. You can try a bunch
- 8:03Speaker 7: of different takes, cakes, you can discover the latest trends,
- 8:06Speaker 7: you can meet with like local wedding pros. So if
- 8:08Speaker 7: you're looking for a wedding dress designer or a wedding planner,
- 8:12Speaker 7: they have all of these there at the Nashville Fairgrounds
- 8:14Speaker 7: on Sunday, okay.
- 8:16Speaker 6: And then lastly, the.
- 8:18Speaker 7: Preds have a home game on Sunday against the Washington Capitals.
- 8:21Speaker 7: That's Sunday Night at bridge Stone Arena. We had a
- 8:23Speaker 7: big win last night at Bridgeton.
- 8:25Speaker 6: Arena, so I hopefully it keeps going nice.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Man.
- 8:27Speaker 4: I never a lot, Ricky.
- 8:29Speaker 2: I'm jealous of you in the position you're in if
- 8:31Speaker 2: you're going to do this, But I do remember, like
- 8:32Speaker 2: when we got to sample different cakes when we were
- 8:34Speaker 2: picking out a k for our wedding, that was your
- 8:36Speaker 2: favorite part of the wedding plan.
- 8:38Speaker 3: I don't blame you. I do not blame you.
- 8:40Speaker 4: Kevi oh Man Zack, thank you so much for that.
- 8:43Speaker 4: Always a very comprehensive list of all the things happening.
- 8:46Speaker 4: Much appreciated. Get out there.
- 8:47Speaker 2: I know this time of year starts to get a
- 8:49Speaker 2: little depressing now that the holidays are behind us, and
- 8:51Speaker 2: it's just going to kind of be you know, gross
- 8:53Speaker 2: for a while.
- 8:54Speaker 4: So get out there and do something, be social. Thank
- 8:56Speaker 4: you for that service Three.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Things, two o'clock on this Friday morning, Happy Friday. Right
- 9:02Speaker 2: after three Things, brand new music from Bruno Mars, but
- 9:05Speaker 2: first Ricky Sanchez Take it Away.
- 9:07Speaker 3: The Pit has already been renewed for season three, so
- 9:11Speaker 3: season two just came out the first episode because they
- 9:13Speaker 3: do by episode every week, which drives me insane. Insane,
- 9:18Speaker 3: but it's okay. I got to think back to the
- 9:19Speaker 3: days where all we had was cable and you had
- 9:21Speaker 3: to wait every week to watch a show. But the
- 9:24Speaker 3: show came out on HBO Max last night was the
- 9:26Speaker 3: first episode. The news of this renewal came before the
- 9:30Speaker 3: premiere of the second season, which is a phenomenal sign
- 9:33Speaker 3: for what we can expect for the rest of the season.
- 9:36Speaker 3: I haven't watched anything yet, but I'm very excited about
- 9:38Speaker 3: The Pit. I loved the first season. It is truly
- 9:41Speaker 3: such a good show. If you have not watched it,
- 9:44Speaker 3: I highly recommend that you start it. I started it
- 9:47Speaker 3: by chance, and I'm so happy that I did. Cannot
- 9:50Speaker 3: recommend it more eleven out of ten. Easily loves Alibi
- 9:54Speaker 3: is set to open in the Gulch next week. This
- 9:56Speaker 3: is a new spot from the same team behind barrel
- 9:58Speaker 3: proof they were. They officially open on the fourteenth with
- 10:02Speaker 3: cocktails and tavern style food. I took a look at
- 10:05Speaker 3: the menu because I always got to see what places
- 10:07Speaker 3: have before I ever try them out. They have a
- 10:09Speaker 3: barada and beef loaded fries dish that I am actually
- 10:13Speaker 3: drooling thinking about right now. I'm going to think about
- 10:16Speaker 3: it until I get that in my stoag because it
- 10:19Speaker 3: sounds so good. It looks like they have a great menu.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Like I said, that opens the fourteenth. Go check it
- 10:25Speaker 3: out when you get a chance. I got a list
- 10:27Speaker 3: of the most on time airlines in America in twenty
- 10:30Speaker 3: twenty five for you. So this aviation analytics company, Syrium,
- 10:35Speaker 3: analyzed a bunch of data for millions of flights worldwide.
- 10:38Speaker 3: They dug into some stats. They found out the timeliness
- 10:41Speaker 3: of airlines in the US. This is actually kind of
- 10:44Speaker 3: going to be shocking for some of you. But Spirit
- 10:45Speaker 3: Airlines came in at third. Huh Yeah, Alaska Airlines came
- 10:50Speaker 3: in at second, and for a fifth year in a row,
- 10:53Speaker 3: Delta Airlines holds onto the title as the most on
- 10:56Speaker 3: time airline in North America.
- 10:57Speaker 4: That's Delta, that's with number one. Shocking must spirit. I
- 11:00Speaker 4: didn't even know they have schedules. I thought it was
- 11:02Speaker 4: just like whatever this is.
- 11:04Speaker 5: See what?
- 11:06Speaker 3: But no, yeah, they are very on time. Even if
- 11:08Speaker 3: they are a budget airline quote unquote, you can kind
- 11:11Speaker 3: of trust them to be on time. At least you
- 11:14Speaker 3: may have to pay for the air on the plane,
- 11:15Speaker 3: but they'll be on time the air. And those are
- 11:19Speaker 3: the three things you.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Need to know, Ricky, Zach and mannow in the morning
- 11:25Speaker 1: time for that?
- 11:25Speaker 6: Sacks, Well, you're welcome for this one.
- 11:28Speaker 7: But did you guys know that the speed of a
- 11:30Speaker 7: computer mouse is measured in Mickey's. So apparently British scientists
- 11:34Speaker 7: first invented the rollerball device like in the mouse in
- 11:37Speaker 7: nineteen forty six while working for the Royal Navy, but
- 11:40Speaker 7: the word mouse didn't get coined until nineteen sixty five,
- 11:43Speaker 7: and so now it's measured in Mickey's.
- 11:45Speaker 4: It's not associated with Disney.
- 11:48Speaker 6: No Mickey Mouse, though it kind of sounds what it is.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Who just walked in, guys, come on over here to
- 11:55Speaker 2: the microphone.
- 11:55Speaker 6: Come on, yeah, what's happening? You know what?
- 12:00Speaker 5: Zach?
- 12:02Speaker 3: I knew that was and that's.
- 12:03Speaker 6: Your fact of the day. You really concerned me? I
- 12:05Speaker 6: was like, who is.
- 12:06Speaker 4: Walking in Why let's do the hot dog dance.
- 12:10Speaker 3: No, okay, Zach, thank you for that fact, Mickey, go home.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Minnow in the Morning the River.
- 12:22Speaker 4: It's Friday.
- 12:22Speaker 2: We are going to do something a little silly here
- 12:24Speaker 2: on a Friday because we were having a debate in
- 12:26Speaker 2: studio yesterday.
- 12:27Speaker 4: And Ricky, you're just flat out wrong.
- 12:31Speaker 3: No, I'm alone on this, but I'm not wrong. The
- 12:34Speaker 3: way that you guys say this is incorrect. They say
- 12:38Speaker 3: exclamation mark, Yeah, it is an exclamation point.
- 12:42Speaker 6: Hello, question inclamation mark?
- 12:44Speaker 3: No exclamation point.
- 12:46Speaker 4: No, it's a mark.
- 12:47Speaker 3: It's a question mark and an exclamation point.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Six, one, five, seven, three, seven, nine seven. Literally, anybody
- 12:53Speaker 2: can weigh in on this. Grab your phone, start dialing.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Maybe there's an English teacher out there.
- 12:57Speaker 4: Something can settle it once and for all.
- 12:58Speaker 2: But whatever side you're on, exclamation mark or exclamation point,
- 13:03Speaker 2: we would love.
- 13:03Speaker 4: To hear from you. It's a mark, it's a point.
- 13:06Speaker 4: It's a mark.
- 13:07Speaker 3: It's a point point.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the Morning to be in the.
- 13:16Speaker 3: One of seven five the River Studio, per usual. What
- 13:19Speaker 3: else is new? This one is a very silly one.
- 13:21Speaker 3: It's about whether or not you can call it an
- 13:23Speaker 3: exclamation mark or an exclamation point, Camille and Louisbourg, you
- 13:28Speaker 3: are a teacher, tell us from your background the correct
- 13:32Speaker 3: way to say this.
- 13:34Speaker 6: It is called an exclamation point, the type of punctuation mark,
- 13:40Speaker 6: but its name is an exclamation point.
- 13:43Speaker 7: So therefore you can call it an exclamation mark because
- 13:47Speaker 7: it is a punctuation mark.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Nope, yeah, Comill like you are not doing this with me.
- 13:53Speaker 3: She deals with kids all day. She knows how to
- 13:55Speaker 3: deal with your auntiic Zach.
- 13:56Speaker 4: Here's the thing. You're a teacher. But do I trust
- 13:59Speaker 4: a teacher or Google?
- 14:00Speaker 1: More?
- 14:00Speaker 4: Because Google says that we're correct, Mark, Camille.
- 14:04Speaker 3: The fact that Kevin even just said that right there
- 14:07Speaker 3: makes me want to kick him in the.
- 14:08Speaker 6: Show I'm not gonna lie.
- 14:09Speaker 7: I was on team Kevin on this one because I
- 14:11Speaker 7: also googled it and it said point is more common
- 14:14Speaker 7: in American English and mark is more common in British English.
- 14:17Speaker 7: So Kevin and I are fancy elish fancy.
- 14:22Speaker 1: But where do we live?
- 14:23Speaker 6: Where did we come from?
- 14:26Speaker 4: Speak?
- 14:26Speaker 3: Don't even there?
- 14:30Speaker 6: You could go anywhere with that?
- 14:32Speaker 3: Thank you for calling in this morning. We appreciate you
- 14:34Speaker 3: so much.
- 14:35Speaker 4: All right, now let's just see what the people have
- 14:38Speaker 4: to say. You know, I mean, I get a teacher
- 14:40Speaker 4: is one thing.
- 14:41Speaker 3: We know the correct way now. But Clay in Nashville,
- 14:44Speaker 3: what do you say?
- 14:45Speaker 6: Interchangeable?
- 14:47Speaker 4: Okay, appreciate that, but it really doesn't help. We want
- 14:50Speaker 4: an answer. We want to know who's right.
- 14:52Speaker 3: But I mean, Clay is kind of, you know, just
- 14:54Speaker 3: saying what he feels, and he thinks that they're interchangeable.
- 14:57Speaker 6: That's Okaymily correctly, point is correct.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Thank you, Clay, Thank you. He was trying to save
- 15:04Speaker 3: your guys feelings and you got mean about it. So
- 15:06Speaker 3: now he said, ha ha, you're wrong anyway, just stick.
- 15:08Speaker 4: With his original answer.
- 15:10Speaker 6: Yeah, we'll go back to the interchangeable.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Clay, thank you. So guess what? What? Have a cow
- 15:17Speaker 3: spine you in my lap? You have a cow spine
- 15:21Speaker 3: in your lap.
- 15:24Speaker 6: Because my mom's a science to exclamation points. Oh he knows.
- 15:32Speaker 2: All right, man, go uh do something else with that
- 15:36Speaker 2: cowspine and have a great day and a great weekend.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Clay, thank you, buddy to bye.
- 15:41Speaker 4: Would have never guessed that when he said, guess what.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Brittany and Clark, so what do you think exclamation point
- 15:47Speaker 3: or exclamation mark point. Thank you. I have a second grader.
- 15:55Speaker 3: I just walked in the school and she said, oh mom,
- 15:57Speaker 3: the boys are wrong. I love this so much. I
- 16:03Speaker 3: love the sheeve and said, the boys they're wrong.
- 16:06Speaker 7: I just feel like I still trust my Google AI
- 16:09Speaker 7: overview more than I trust your second grader.
- 16:12Speaker 3: That is the most disgusting thing. I trust my daughter's
- 16:15Speaker 3: second grade teacher that she that's fair.
- 16:19Speaker 4: Who paid you?
- 16:23Speaker 3: Thank you? I just wanted to tell you guy, you
- 16:26Speaker 3: were wrong. Thank you so much, Brittany for telling them
- 16:29Speaker 3: that they are wrong. Now they've heard it from multiple
- 16:31Speaker 3: people and not just me. Okay, perfect, have a great day,
- 16:34Speaker 3: love you.
- 16:36Speaker 4: Let me try it out here. Exclamation point, exclamation point.
- 16:40Speaker 4: It doesn't sound that sad.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Saying exclamation point feels like an exclamation point.
- 16:44Speaker 6: It doesn't feel right like even when Kevin was saying it, I.
- 16:47Speaker 4: Was like, ew, I don't know. They might be winning
- 16:49Speaker 4: me over zack exclamation mark.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Exclamation point. It feels like expla point, only.
- 16:54Speaker 6: Because you're saying it like that. Whatever.
- 16:56Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on the River,
- 17:01Speaker 5: The man.
- 17:01Speaker 3: Whose Game of the Day on one oh seven five
- 17:03Speaker 3: the River it's called twenty or twenty six. We're playing
- 17:06Speaker 3: for bonaut tickets. This lineup is insane, like it always is,
- 17:10Speaker 3: but it's going to be a great weekend. We got
- 17:12Speaker 3: Jen and Franklin on the line ready to play.
- 17:16Speaker 4: Hi, Jen, Hi, good.
- 17:17Speaker 6: Morning, Good morning.
- 17:18Speaker 4: What are your weekend plans?
- 17:20Speaker 1: Jen?
- 17:21Speaker 6: Good?
- 17:21Speaker 3: Birthday?
- 17:22Speaker 1: Party, kids, boarding, emends.
- 17:24Speaker 2: All I've heard was kids, kids, kids, kids, That's how
- 17:28Speaker 2: it goes.
- 17:30Speaker 5: Well.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Hey, you're the last contestant this week in twenty or
- 17:33Speaker 2: twenty six. And again, no pressure, but nobody has failed
- 17:37Speaker 2: this game yet.
- 17:37Speaker 4: Everybody's won. Okay, we've not turned anyone away. Probably kill me,
- 17:42Speaker 4: my lost.
- 17:43Speaker 3: I trust, I have trusting you. I have faith in you.
- 17:45Speaker 3: You're going to do just fine.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Let's keep the streak alive. Two out of three of
- 17:48Speaker 2: these questions right, the tickets are years. The answer is
- 17:51Speaker 2: either twenty or twenty six. And Jen, your game starts
- 17:54Speaker 2: right now. How many players are there on a Major
- 17:58Speaker 2: League Baseball team's right gillar season roster? Twenty or twenty six?
- 18:08Speaker 3: Twenty?
- 18:09Speaker 1: Si?
- 18:10Speaker 6: Yes, yes, man, you got.
- 18:13Speaker 4: A point on the board.
- 18:15Speaker 2: How old was Bill Gates when he started Microsoft? Was
- 18:18Speaker 2: he twenty or was he twenty six?
- 18:22Speaker 3: Oh I think he was twenty.
- 18:26Speaker 4: Oh that's pretty young. You sure? Is that your final answer?
- 18:30Speaker 5: I think?
- 18:30Speaker 1: So?
- 18:31Speaker 4: Okay, well, congratulations, you're going about her.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Never thought.
- 18:43Speaker 4: Six seven will never die? Is that what was just
- 18:45Speaker 4: yelled in excitement?
- 18:47Speaker 3: Yes, excited that you're excited? Congratulations, Jen, you got bottle
- 18:54Speaker 3: Roots tickets.
- 18:55Speaker 8: Yes, we're so excited you can sell.
- 19:00Speaker 3: The excitement is always so exciting for us to hear. Yeah,
- 19:05Speaker 3: congratulations again. We're gonna put you on a whole for
- 19:08Speaker 3: a second, okay, so we can get your info.
- 19:09Speaker 4: All right, so good. So six seven it's just like
- 19:12Speaker 4: an exclamation of joy.
- 19:13Speaker 6: Now apparently so you learn something new every day, which
- 19:17Speaker 6: I thought it was like very mad. So now we're
- 19:19Speaker 6: changing into exclamation marks.
- 19:20Speaker 4: I think it's evolved.
- 19:21Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, that's excitement.
- 19:24Speaker 4: Like you're still saying exclamation mark.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Exot Three things you need to know.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Happy Friday just passed eight o'clock. Ricky Sanchez has those
- 19:33Speaker 2: three things.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Olivia Rodrigo announced an exclusive vinyl Earlier this week. I
- 19:38Speaker 3: told you about Olivia Rodrigo updating her website teasing a
- 19:42Speaker 3: driver's license renewal. Now we know what that's all about.
- 19:45Speaker 3: So as part of her fifth anniversary five years of
- 19:48Speaker 3: driver's license. Kind of wild to think about. She's dropping
- 19:51Speaker 3: a red translucent seven inch vinyl where Side A is
- 19:54Speaker 3: gonna have a version of Driver's License by David Byrne
- 19:57Speaker 3: and Side B will have the live version of of
- 20:00Speaker 3: Talking Heads Burning Down the House with both David Byrne
- 20:03Speaker 3: and Lavia ro Arico together on it. The vinyl is
- 20:06Speaker 3: currently available for you to purchase Nashville. This story just
- 20:11Speaker 3: makes me so happy you all came together to save
- 20:15Speaker 3: the end the music venue. They had posted on social
- 20:19Speaker 3: media yesterday about their struggle to pay rent after a
- 20:21Speaker 3: very slow twenty twenty five and the amount of times
- 20:24Speaker 3: that I have to tell you that a place has
- 20:27Speaker 3: shut down on this show is devastating to me. So
- 20:32Speaker 3: I'm so happy to say that everybody came together on
- 20:35Speaker 3: a GoFundMe to keep it alive and to keep it running. Okay,
- 20:39Speaker 3: this is the first time they said that they were
- 20:41Speaker 3: behind in rent in twenty seven years. The owner, Bruce
- 20:44Speaker 3: said that he didn't want to do the GoFundMe. He
- 20:47Speaker 3: was reluctant to do a GoFundMe to raise money to
- 20:49Speaker 3: pay it, but with a goal of twenty five k
- 20:52Speaker 3: we reached the goal in a matter of just a
- 20:54Speaker 3: few hours. I'm so so proud of you Nashville for that.
- 20:57Speaker 3: I saw it and I immediately had posted it because
- 21:00Speaker 3: I was like, we cannot let anything happen to the end.
- 21:02Speaker 3: I love that place. I think it's just a pillar
- 21:05Speaker 3: of the community. I donated myself, So I'm just really
- 21:08Speaker 3: happy to see that the goal was reached, all without
- 21:11Speaker 3: me having to even say it today that we needed
- 21:13Speaker 3: to donate, because that was originally the plan. So congrats
- 21:16Speaker 3: to everybody who donated. I think that's really amazing, and
- 21:19Speaker 3: we're so happy that the end is going to keep
- 21:20Speaker 3: going and.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Let's give them a better twenty twenty six, let's get
- 21:23Speaker 2: out there and go see shows everyone.
- 21:25Speaker 3: One hundred percent. And a new study shows that if
- 21:28Speaker 3: you splurge on your wedding, you're more likely to break up.
- 21:31Speaker 3: An Emory University study shows that men who spend between
- 21:36Speaker 3: twenty seven hundred and fifty four hundred on an engagement
- 21:39Speaker 3: ring are more likely to get divorced than those that
- 21:41Speaker 3: spend five hundred to two thousand dollars. Goodness, and if
- 21:45Speaker 3: you spend more than twenty seven thousand dollars on your wedding.
- 21:47Speaker 3: It increases that risk even more. The research found that
- 21:50Speaker 3: women with weddings that were that pricey were three point
- 21:53Speaker 3: five times more likely to get divorced than those who
- 21:56Speaker 3: spent six thousand, eight hundred to thirteen thousand dollars. Kind
- 22:01Speaker 3: of crazy. I will also say this is interesting, but
- 22:04Speaker 3: spending too little on the ring under six hundred and
- 22:08Speaker 3: eighty dollars also wasn't great for your marriage stability. I
- 22:12Speaker 3: just feel like, no matter what, you can't wait.
- 22:14Speaker 6: Don't get married is exactly I don't do it.
- 22:18Speaker 3: That's what it makes it seem. Do what's right for
- 22:20Speaker 3: you is really what it comes down to. Don't fall
- 22:23Speaker 3: prey to the pressure of spending an insane amount of
- 22:25Speaker 3: money on your wedding. You don't need to if you
- 22:26Speaker 3: don't want to. I'm rick Sanchez, and those are the
- 22:28Speaker 3: three things you need to know.
- 22:30Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and man in the morning on the River, and.
- 22:35Speaker 3: The three of us love to yap. Where he's Zach
- 22:37Speaker 3: and Mano in the morning. We love to yap. We
- 22:40Speaker 3: love doing our show here on one oh seven five
- 22:41Speaker 3: of the River, but there's just not enough time to
- 22:43Speaker 3: fit everything in throughout the week. So that's why every
- 22:46Speaker 3: Friday at this time we do the leftovers. Each of
- 22:49Speaker 3: us is getting thirty seconds to tell either a story
- 22:53Speaker 3: or a topic or whatever was that we wanted to
- 22:55Speaker 3: talk about that just didn't make the show this week.
- 22:58Speaker 6: Yep, Ricky, you want to start for.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Kick it off per usual? I'm gonna tell you why
- 23:02Speaker 3: you want to skip the coffee and tea on your
- 23:04Speaker 3: next spot. I got the timer start at keV Dog,
- 23:07Speaker 3: the nonprofit Center for Food as Medicine and Longevity, analyzed
- 23:11Speaker 3: more than thirty five thousand on board water samples from
- 23:15Speaker 3: ten major and eleven regional US airlines over three years.
- 23:19Speaker 3: They found that you for sure want to stick to
- 23:22Speaker 3: your bottled water because two point seven percent of the
- 23:25Speaker 3: samples tested positive for total Coliforum bacteria, which means that
- 23:30Speaker 3: there's a disease causing organisms present. E. Coli was detected
- 23:34Speaker 3: thirty two times across twenty one airlines studied. The study
- 23:38Speaker 3: also warns people not to use the sink water on
- 23:40Speaker 3: airplanes when you wash your hands, instead use hand sanitizer.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Crazy stuff.
- 23:47Speaker 4: I always drink coffee on flights and don't.
- 23:49Speaker 3: Be doing it. Don't be doing it. You gotta stop now.
- 23:53Speaker 6: My year vodka plane.
- 23:57Speaker 4: Yes, Zach your next Okay?
- 23:59Speaker 7: So I thought this readit thread that I thought was
- 24:01Speaker 7: really interesting and I kind of wanted to ask, like,
- 24:03Speaker 7: has anybody asked for their partners like hand in marriage?
- 24:06Speaker 7: But like you know how you have to go ask
- 24:08Speaker 7: the dad first. Has the dad ever told you no?
- 24:11Speaker 7: Because I found this Reddit thread of partner's dad saying
- 24:13Speaker 7: no to their engagement ask and apparently one guy said
- 24:17Speaker 7: that my wife's dad. I asked him in person. He
- 24:20Speaker 7: said he would break my knees if I proposed to
- 24:22Speaker 7: her today. Yeah, he said no, but maybe someday if
- 24:26Speaker 7: I ever made something of myself. And then my mom
- 24:31Speaker 7: said no to my sister's boyfriend because they just moved
- 24:34Speaker 7: in together. She said, if you live together for a year,
- 24:36Speaker 7: then she'd be okay with it. They didn't last a year,
- 24:38Speaker 7: so that did happen. I know. I just started thinking
- 24:43Speaker 7: of like, did your in law say no when you
- 24:45Speaker 7: asked for their good topic?
- 24:47Speaker 4: We should do that at some point. That is a
- 24:48Speaker 4: great topic.
- 24:49Speaker 3: All right, Kevin, your turn?
- 24:50Speaker 4: All right? Today is what they call Quitter's Day.
- 24:53Speaker 2: This is the day that traditionally most people drop their
- 24:56Speaker 2: New Year's resolutions. Big survey before Christmas said that the
- 25:00Speaker 2: top resolutions this year are exercise, be happier, eat healthier,
- 25:04Speaker 2: and save money. If you're starting to give up, uh,
- 25:07Speaker 2: this is a little life hack to help you stay
- 25:10Speaker 2: on track. There's this thing online people are starting to
- 25:12Speaker 2: do punch cards. So like, if you have specific habits
- 25:16Speaker 2: that you want to keep, each time you do.
- 25:18Speaker 4: A little habit, you put a little punch in your
- 25:19Speaker 4: punch card.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Make your own punch card sticker.
- 25:21Speaker 4: I put ten little things on there, punch one.
- 25:24Speaker 2: And then when you fill up your punch card, get
- 25:26Speaker 2: yourself a little treat.
- 25:27Speaker 4: You did something, you deserve something I like that.
- 25:30Speaker 7: That's actually really smart. Reminds me of the coupon at
- 25:32Speaker 7: the gas station. If you buy this many coffees, you
- 25:34Speaker 7: get an extra one for each.
- 25:37Speaker 3: A reward system.
- 25:38Speaker 4: Yeah, the second Friday in January is always quitters day.
- 25:41Speaker 4: This is when people give up.
- 25:42Speaker 2: So try the punch card thing if you're thinking about
- 25:44Speaker 2: bailing on your news resolution.
- 25:46Speaker 4: And there you go. That co includes the left.
- 25:48Speaker 5: Over Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on
- 25:53Speaker 5: the River.
- 25:58Speaker 3: That was Olivia Dean. I need on one O seven
- 26:01Speaker 3: five the River, which is perfect, a perfect segue into
- 26:04Speaker 3: the daily double tap because this one Zach found, but
- 26:07Speaker 3: it's the man's perspective.
- 26:09Speaker 6: Yeah song. I found this on TikTok. It's a guy
- 26:11Speaker 6: named Jared Grimble and.
- 26:13Speaker 7: He does like a basically rebuttal of like, hey, I
- 26:16Speaker 7: am the man you need in this song, and it's
- 26:18Speaker 7: just so good.
- 26:19Speaker 6: His voice is insane.
- 26:20Speaker 4: He's great.
- 26:21Speaker 2: Here we go with that song fresh in our heads.
- 26:22Speaker 2: We all just heard it. Here is the male rebuttal
- 26:25Speaker 2: to Olivia Dean on the River. It's a daily double tap.
- 26:28Speaker 8: One already gave you didn't sound play.
- 26:43Speaker 3: Shine, I'll be the man you need.
- 26:54Speaker 6: It's so good. His voice is ridiculous.
- 26:56Speaker 3: His energy in the clip too, is infectious.
- 26:59Speaker 6: It is it's vibe.
- 27:01Speaker 7: I hate when people say that, but it's totally a vibe.
- 27:04Speaker 4: I saw your face right as soon as you said it.
- 27:06Speaker 4: You're like, why did I say that?
- 27:07Speaker 7: I hate when people say that, but he'es a vibe.
- 27:11Speaker 4: It is a vibe. That was I like that he
- 27:13Speaker 4: did that. I liked that he made that. I like
- 27:14Speaker 4: that he's getting attention for it. It's cool.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Thank you for finding it, Zach. We'll post that vibe
- 27:18Speaker 2: up in our Instagram at one o seven five the
- 27:22Speaker 2: River
- 27:23Speaker 1: Ricky Zach and Meno in the morning on one oh
- 27:25Speaker 1: seven vibe the river
