- 0:01Speaker 1: Jared, Katy and Josh one hundred.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Well, I've already had the best part of my morning.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Katie forgot we're going on the air. It's like at
- 0:08Speaker 2: the same time every day, like here we are just.
- 0:13Speaker 3: The YouTube feed.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Up it is, or at least I'm rolling Yeah, hi, old.
- 0:21Speaker 3: On, We're going on the air. What time is it.
- 0:25Speaker 2: I'm trying not to turn into the person like the
- 0:27Speaker 2: people who are like I.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Do CrossFit all the time. I'm in CrossFit. You know,
- 0:30Speaker 3: I play pickleball. I like to play pickleball. I'm a runner.
- 0:34Speaker 3: I like to run. You know.
- 0:35Speaker 2: It's the people that like it becomes their identity what
- 0:38Speaker 2: they do. I've been eating really clean, pretty damn healthy
- 0:42Speaker 2: for a good month now. I dropped fifteen pounds like
- 0:46Speaker 2: nobody's business. I know it's so easy for cut out
- 0:48Speaker 2: alcohol everything.
- 0:49Speaker 3: I weighed myself last night.
- 0:50Speaker 2: I was like, whoa, I got to throw the brakes
- 0:52Speaker 2: on this actually, and Nicole was even like, I think
- 0:54Speaker 2: you're good. Don't get too skinny. So I'm trying to
- 0:58Speaker 2: ease up a little bit. But you realize when you
- 1:01Speaker 2: start eating incredibly healthy and you really watching everything that
- 1:05Speaker 2: you put into your mouth, you start listening to what
- 1:07Speaker 2: other people are eating, and you're just you're surprised by
- 1:11Speaker 2: how much crap they're consuming.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Katie me.
- 1:15Speaker 4: In me, what did you fry last night?
- 1:19Speaker 3: You fried a sandwich or something?
- 1:21Speaker 5: Well, I didn't.
- 1:22Speaker 4: I just pan fried, you know what I mean. But
- 1:24Speaker 4: it was a peanut butter and banana sandwich. But it
- 1:26Speaker 4: was on protein bread and it was a good peanut
- 1:29Speaker 4: butter and a banana comes from a tree, come on.
- 1:33Speaker 2: The thing that was most shocking to me was yesterday
- 1:35Speaker 2: watching the video of you with the quaw soul that's different,
- 1:42Speaker 2: the unfortunately Namedallal that you hollowed out and shoved an
- 1:47Speaker 2: ice cream bar into it, and my poor little heart
- 1:52Speaker 2: it fluttered.
- 1:52Speaker 3: When I watched it.
- 1:53Speaker 2: I was like, I better go eat a bowl of
- 1:54Speaker 2: Cottae cheese right now to make up for watching this video.
- 1:57Speaker 4: So that's a TikTok hack, and I've been waiting to
- 2:00Speaker 4: try it. I have been just been so excited to
- 2:03Speaker 4: try this food creation and it is as good as
- 2:07Speaker 4: it sounds.
- 2:08Speaker 3: I got my croissant.
- 2:12Speaker 5: It was so good.
- 2:13Speaker 4: And not only that, but like I up to the
- 2:15Speaker 4: game a little because the hack is you go get
- 2:18Speaker 4: croissants from a certain place. But I just want to
- 2:22Speaker 4: say I got my croissants from Safeway. That's the pro tipsants,
- 2:28Speaker 4: because they don't like you know, a lot of croissants
- 2:31Speaker 4: will just like flake all over your shirt. I mean,
- 2:33Speaker 4: and that is the test of a true good croissant.
- 2:36Speaker 4: But Safeways are nice and buttery and soft, and then
- 2:39Speaker 4: you can throw them in the airfire if you want
- 2:41Speaker 4: them to.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Be bread much like you shut up.
- 2:48Speaker 4: You can count on me, count on me, homie. But anyway,
- 2:52Speaker 4: so the croissant. Then I went and I.
- 2:55Speaker 5: Up to the game with a fat Boy ice cream.
- 2:59Speaker 3: It was so good.
- 3:01Speaker 5: And not only that.
- 3:02Speaker 3: You're eating a product named fat.
- 3:03Speaker 5: Boy, Yes I did.
- 3:06Speaker 3: That can be good for you.
- 3:08Speaker 5: It was.
- 3:09Speaker 4: It was like the man in my dreams finally understands.
- 3:13Speaker 5: Is the man I needed in my life.
- 3:16Speaker 4: But the funny thing is is I brought the right
- 3:18Speaker 4: because I went into Safeway and I bought an eight
- 3:21Speaker 4: pack of croissants thinking that.
- 3:23Speaker 5: I was just gonna need one or two of them
- 3:25Speaker 5: to do this video.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Right.
- 3:27Speaker 4: By the time the weekend was done, I had eaten
- 3:29Speaker 4: five croissants.
- 3:30Speaker 3: I can't believe in twenty four hours.
- 3:34Speaker 5: So I came in No, no, okay, I was like,
- 3:37Speaker 5: all filled with.
- 3:38Speaker 6: Something, but.
- 3:41Speaker 3: I just filled them with my depression.
- 3:43Speaker 5: And so I brought the other three, the three I
- 3:45Speaker 5: had left yesterday.
- 3:46Speaker 4: I'm like, I cannot eat the I already had five.
- 3:49Speaker 4: I can't eat all eight of these. So I brought
- 3:51Speaker 4: them into the station and I told Josh. I was like, hey,
- 3:54Speaker 4: you want to do a TikTok hack because there's an
- 3:56Speaker 4: ice cream bar in the freezer too, so we still
- 3:59Speaker 4: need to do that for job.
- 4:00Speaker 5: I know you are frowning. I will the ice cream croissant.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Maybe maybe you can have a bite, just try it.
- 4:06Speaker 6: Trying to fatten me up I have.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Do you know what my go to sweet treat is.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Nicole bought me this bag of keto. It's like chocolate
- 4:15Speaker 2: keto something or other. It's essentially quenoa that's been covered
- 4:19Speaker 2: in like a dark chocolate I know exactly. So it's
- 4:21Speaker 2: like keenwak crunch and it's chocolate. Ah, don't make a face.
- 4:25Speaker 2: It's actually quite tasty. It's really good.
- 4:28Speaker 4: When you get on the plane and they're like, you know,
- 4:30Speaker 4: they have those cookies that are quene wa covered in chocolate.
- 4:33Speaker 4: And if you make the mistake of saying you want
- 4:35Speaker 4: that cookie. You're gonna be very disappointed.
- 4:38Speaker 3: He was a game change.
- 4:40Speaker 5: I think again, when.
- 4:41Speaker 4: You're not eating anything bad and then you have a
- 4:44Speaker 4: quene walk cookie and it's the only sweet you get, it.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Feels yeah right, it's it's so it's wild. How how
- 4:52Speaker 2: different I feel this past month. Yeah, like in a
- 4:56Speaker 2: good way. It's really quite shocking. I mean because I've
- 5:00Speaker 2: I drink so much water. The only downside is I'm
- 5:03Speaker 2: not even joking. I think I was up seven times
- 5:05Speaker 2: last night to pete. I had so much water yesterday.
- 5:10Speaker 2: I am chugging water. I'm eating a ton of olives, cottage.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Cheese, Greek yogurts. The game changer.
- 5:18Speaker 2: You made your peanut butter sandwich last night, I got
- 5:20Speaker 2: some sunflower butter made from sunflower seeds.
- 5:24Speaker 5: Ummy.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Sorry, ladies, I'm taking I know this is so hot.
- 5:29Speaker 3: It was really good. Yeah, so highly suggested.
- 5:32Speaker 2: But when was the last time you saw your cardiologists?
- 5:35Speaker 5: What is a cat?
- 5:38Speaker 3: Oh? I've been waiting for this moment all morning. It
- 5:45Speaker 3: makes one hundred. All right, so get this.
- 5:50Speaker 2: I was thinking these cards hadn't been sold yet, but
- 5:52Speaker 2: I guess they went to auction.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Check this out. Somebody had how many packs was it? Like?
- 5:59Speaker 2: Eight packs of baseball cards from like nineteen fifty two.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Oh wow, valued originally at about forty cents. They were
- 6:10Speaker 2: never opened. They were found in the cellophane wrapper as
- 6:14Speaker 2: like a brick. So there's a brick of them, all
- 6:15Speaker 2: wrapped in cellophane. Seventy four years later they went to auction,
- 6:21Speaker 2: sold for one point one million dollars.
- 6:25Speaker 4: This is everyone's stream, Like you're cleaning out your grandparents' attic,
- 6:29Speaker 4: grandpappy's addict exactly, tucked in the back corner, wrapped up
- 6:33Speaker 4: all nice.
- 6:34Speaker 5: And those baseball card like, this is someone's stream right here.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Oh my god, this is uh, this is wild. I
- 6:41Speaker 2: guess this has happened a few times before. The last
- 6:44Speaker 2: auction was like eight hundred and seventy three thousand.
- 6:47Speaker 3: But anyway, the price keeps going up, up up.
- 6:50Speaker 2: They're speculating that there could be some very rare baseball
- 6:53Speaker 2: cards in these packs.
- 6:54Speaker 3: There's a long story about it. They there may or
- 6:56Speaker 3: may not be.
- 6:57Speaker 2: If that's the case, there could be cards in these
- 7:00Speaker 2: that are worth like twelve million dollars. Yet they're not
- 7:04Speaker 2: opening them. It's all based on speculation. Yeah, so but
- 7:08Speaker 2: that what a wild investment. You pick it up for
- 7:11Speaker 2: one point one mil. Maybe you decide to open them
- 7:14Speaker 2: up and there's cards and they're worth twelve million.
- 7:17Speaker 3: It's a pretty solid investment right there.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Or you just yeah, yeah, or Mickey they're saying there
- 7:22Speaker 2: could be some Mickey Mantle.
- 7:23Speaker 3: Cards in there that are worth a lot.
- 7:25Speaker 2: But anyway, I think I would just still sit on
- 7:27Speaker 2: these cards, just leave them, would no, because they're still
- 7:31Speaker 2: just gonna go up, up, up in value if they're
- 7:32Speaker 2: sitting there unopened from nineteen fifty two in the original Rappers?
- 7:36Speaker 3: Are you kidding me?
- 7:37Speaker 7: So?
- 7:37Speaker 4: Just a curiosity alone is enough to make them be
- 7:40Speaker 4: worth that much.
- 7:41Speaker 6: It could retill those on the curiosity again and make
- 7:43Speaker 6: them Yeah.
- 7:44Speaker 2: I put it on Facebook Marketplace immediately, all right.
- 7:47Speaker 3: I even get this.
- 7:48Speaker 2: A bunch of researchers went out and compared a buttload
- 7:51Speaker 2: of people that did ninety minutes of moderate cycling for
- 7:55Speaker 2: a length of time. Yeah, And then they compared a
- 7:58Speaker 2: different buttload of people that did just six thirty second
- 8:04Speaker 2: all out cycling sprints.
- 8:07Speaker 3: A total of three minutes of intense exercise.
- 8:10Speaker 2: The three minute sprints changed seven hundred and fourteen different
- 8:15Speaker 2: proteins in the blood were the ninety minute workouts changed
- 8:18Speaker 2: just seven proteins?
- 8:20Speaker 5: No, don't tell me that.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Sprinting also altered more than two hundred different compounds in
- 8:25Speaker 2: the blood stream. No, the moderation one did not a
- 8:29Speaker 2: lot of those were tied to metabolism, tissue repair.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Blood vessel growth.
- 8:36Speaker 2: They also were tied to fat burning, hormone regulation, and
- 8:40Speaker 2: how your body processes nutrients. All for the better, three
- 8:45Speaker 2: minute workout versus a ninety minute.
- 8:47Speaker 5: Workout each and everything super hard.
- 8:51Speaker 2: You know what to the wall that you gotta cycle
- 8:54Speaker 2: like crazy?
- 8:55Speaker 5: And so do they say like six minutes thirty seconds each?
- 8:58Speaker 5: How much time in between?
- 8:59Speaker 3: I mean you have to that You're gonna have to
- 9:01Speaker 3: do your own.
- 9:01Speaker 4: Research a minute or two, so all in all you're
- 9:04Speaker 4: probably working out for ten minutes.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Well this this only says three I know, but you
- 9:09Speaker 2: need a break in between. Yeah, you got I think
- 9:11Speaker 2: a break because it was six thirty second all out springs,
- 9:15Speaker 2: cycling sprints. Yeah, but yeah, we should try this because
- 9:18Speaker 2: that's the thing.
- 9:19Speaker 4: I see people who are running when I am, and
- 9:22Speaker 4: there's one girl in particular, and she'll run for thirty
- 9:26Speaker 4: seconds and then she'll walk, And we're always at the
- 9:28Speaker 4: same pace, like when I run with her, when I
- 9:30Speaker 4: see her out about, we usually finish and start at
- 9:33Speaker 4: the same time. Stuff, And I'm just like, I wonders
- 9:36Speaker 4: is better than mine?
- 9:37Speaker 3: They always say, just a little flat out run is
- 9:39Speaker 3: so good for you.
- 9:40Speaker 4: Because when I'm jogging, I do it for the whole
- 9:43Speaker 4: two miles. I don't stop, and I feel like that's
- 9:45Speaker 4: so imperatives, way better, way better, So tight and firm.
- 9:51Speaker 3: She's so firm about it.
- 9:53Speaker 2: She's so beautiful and glistening muscles.
- 9:57Speaker 3: Six pack abs.
- 9:58Speaker 6: You're doing it.
- 10:00Speaker 2: You're doing it, but then you go home and shove
- 10:02Speaker 2: ice cream bars into croissants.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Dog harag Josh. What else is going on in sports
- 10:08Speaker 3: anything this Well?
- 10:09Speaker 7: Last month we talked about how the Buffalo Sabers right
- 10:12Speaker 7: there in New York got really mad at us Smoky
- 10:15Speaker 7: Hill High School for using their logo even though they've
- 10:17Speaker 7: been doing it for the last like twenty so years.
- 10:19Speaker 6: They're just now finding out about it.
- 10:21Speaker 7: Well, the issue is kind of being resolved because all
- 10:25Speaker 7: the students went into their classrooms on Monday and they
- 10:27Speaker 7: were like, we don't know if we can even wear
- 10:28Speaker 7: our logo anymore right now, Like they could get in
- 10:30Speaker 7: trouble for that. So the National Hockey League reached out
- 10:33Speaker 7: and they asked the Cherry School District, which is Smoky
- 10:36Speaker 7: Hill High School, to sign a no cost royalty free
- 10:39Speaker 7: license agreement in response to this whole debacle over their
- 10:43Speaker 7: Buffalo Sabers logo.
- 10:45Speaker 6: I for one, am kind of bummed about this.
- 10:47Speaker 7: I know that the other alternative was that they have
- 10:49Speaker 7: these students allowing them to recreate the logo that they
- 10:53Speaker 7: seem fit and say that they seem best.
- 10:55Speaker 6: I'm kind of bummed about this. I want them to
- 10:57Speaker 6: do this.
- 10:57Speaker 7: The royalty thing free thing is them to being able
- 11:00Speaker 7: to use the logo now, so they're able to essentially say, hey,
- 11:03Speaker 7: we know you guys created this logo.
- 11:06Speaker 6: We're just going to kind of use it on our
- 11:08Speaker 6: own right now.
- 11:09Speaker 4: Confused, Okay, so use it because the you're giving them schools.
- 11:13Speaker 5: Yeah, Smoky Hill used it first, so they have.
- 11:16Speaker 6: The Savers used it.
- 11:18Speaker 5: The Smoky Hill is who gets the rights to it.
- 11:20Speaker 4: Yeah, the Sabers get to use it without having to
- 11:23Speaker 4: pay any money to Smokey.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Hill is essentially what it is the same.
- 11:26Speaker 7: I'm also okay the Buffalo the Buffalo Sabers are allowing
- 11:29Speaker 7: Smoky Hill to use it. Oh okay, so Smoky Hill
- 11:32Speaker 7: came with it afterwards, a sabers Older organization.
- 11:34Speaker 5: They can't make any money off it.
- 11:36Speaker 6: No, no, no, that's okay. They can't.
- 11:37Speaker 3: But I lost Chaffield doing this. Schaffield.
- 11:39Speaker 5: Okay, it's nothing to do with Chaffield.
- 11:41Speaker 8: What's blowing up.
- 11:42Speaker 5: We've got receipts, We've got drummers, we've got Denver talking.

- 13:28Speaker 2: to meet you guys.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Some stuff floating around this morning.
- 13:31Speaker 2: You know those little free library boxes that are like
- 13:34Speaker 2: on the streets that look like little houses and there's
- 13:36Speaker 2: books in there and stuff. There's now little free Blockbusters
- 13:40Speaker 2: popping up all around the country. It's blue, they're blue
- 13:44Speaker 2: and yellow. They've got the logo on the side, and
- 13:47Speaker 2: they can hold physical media vhs' is DVDs, blu rays.
- 13:53Speaker 2: The first one made an appearance a few years ago
- 13:55Speaker 2: by a former Blockbuster employee in California, and it has
- 14:00Speaker 2: caught on. There's dozens of them now across the United States.
- 14:03Speaker 2: There's even a website where you can start your own.
- 14:05Speaker 2: They'll give you like the template, the colors, all of that,
- 14:09Speaker 2: and then you create one in your neighborhood, send them
- 14:12Speaker 2: a picture and they'll put it on their free Blockbuster
- 14:15Speaker 2: location map. And for the record, the website is saying
- 14:18Speaker 2: that Blockbuster LLC is still a thing and they're fine
- 14:23Speaker 2: with it.
- 14:23Speaker 3: They're fine with you, you know.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Using their likeness. What are they gonna do. There's no stores. Well,
- 14:29Speaker 2: there's that one in Benn I.
- 14:30Speaker 5: Think there's one in Bend, Oregon. So they are still
- 14:33Speaker 5: a thing. And I love how they're tapping into the nostalgia.
- 14:37Speaker 3: I want to do this in my neighborhood.
- 14:39Speaker 6: I really do.
- 14:40Speaker 5: We have a mailbox and I want to do that.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Yeah, they you can use anything.
- 14:44Speaker 2: A lot of people are using those old you know
- 14:47Speaker 2: when you used to put the quarter in the newspaper
- 14:49Speaker 2: machine and you'd open the front door and you get
- 14:51Speaker 2: a newspaper out of the front Yeah, old school, right.
- 14:55Speaker 2: A lot of people are finding those, refurbishing them and
- 14:58Speaker 2: putting the physical media inside and he just open up.
- 15:00Speaker 2: You take what you want, put it back, add stuff
- 15:03Speaker 2: to it.
- 15:03Speaker 5: I want to do this.
- 15:04Speaker 3: I do too.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Lone Tree absolutely, So that's fun. That's trending this morning.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Ten Things I Hate About You is coming to Broadway.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Oh before it, you dig it.
- 15:16Speaker 4: We just talked about this with Fia and I am
- 15:19Speaker 4: absolutely for it. That is a classic and that needs
- 15:22Speaker 4: to be on the big stage.
- 15:23Speaker 3: I think it's one of my wife's it's it's probably
- 15:25Speaker 3: within her top ten. It is like when she made
- 15:28Speaker 3: me watch it one night when he gets.
- 15:29Speaker 5: Up and sings like in front of everybody, and he
- 15:32Speaker 5: did that off the I didn't get it.
- 15:35Speaker 4: He completely just improvised that off the top of his head.
- 15:41Speaker 5: Exactly. But it is such a.
- 15:43Speaker 4: Huge moment I think for so many millennial women because
- 15:46Speaker 4: we're like, we want a guy to do that for us.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Yeah, she made me watch it. I didn't get it,
- 15:51Speaker 3: so I got one final thing.
- 15:52Speaker 2: A Kentucky man has claimed a Guinness World Record by
- 15:55Speaker 2: assembling a mister potato Head wild blindfolded in seven point
- 16:01Speaker 2: nine to two seconds, showering the previous record of twelve seconds.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Oh yeah, he killed it.
- 16:08Speaker 2: So yeah, they blindfolded him and he was able to
- 16:10Speaker 2: put in the eyes in the nose and the mouth
- 16:12Speaker 2: and the arms in the cork spot, in all the
- 16:14Speaker 2: krug spots in under eight seconds. Wow, that guy was
- 16:18Speaker 2: feeling up that potato head.
- 16:20Speaker 5: Can you imagine just practicing that?
- 16:22Speaker 7: You?
- 16:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I wonder what his girlfriend thinks about.
- 16:25Speaker 5: Oh yeah.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Joshua was our winner for our VIP lunch.
- 16:29Speaker 6: That was Linda out of Lakewood.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Well Linda, We're excited to see on Monday for our
- 16:33Speaker 2: Mixed one hundred VIP listener lunch with the band Camino
- 16:37Speaker 2: Phone of Shots to sign up a mixed one Hundredugo Katy,
- 16:40Speaker 2: what else is going on?
- 16:40Speaker 4: Okay, get ready for Mario Kart emmacgregor Square.
- 16:45Speaker 5: Yeah, an afternoon of Mario Kart on the sixty six
- 16:48Speaker 5: foot elit screen here.
- 16:51Speaker 3: I got something for you.
- 16:55Speaker 4: Four players going head to ahead with thirty minute racing
- 16:59Speaker 4: session running from one to six pm. This is going
- 17:02Speaker 4: down on Thursday, and your registration reserves one player spots. Yes,
- 17:07Speaker 4: you have to register for this if you want to
- 17:09Speaker 4: play Mario Kart during this specific time in McGregor Square.
- 17:13Speaker 4: Your family and friends are welcome to come watch and
- 17:15Speaker 4: cheer you on, and they don't have to register for this.
- 17:17Speaker 4: But it is gonna be one heck of a party
- 17:19Speaker 4: out there in downtown Denver.
- 17:21Speaker 5: And I love this because.
- 17:22Speaker 4: After they do the whole Mario Kart session, they're gonna
- 17:26Speaker 4: have Super Mario Galaxy on the big screen for their
- 17:29Speaker 4: final movie night of this.
- 17:31Speaker 3: I just watched that this weekend. We plunked down and
- 17:34Speaker 3: watched it, and it was mediocre.
- 17:38Speaker 4: I think it'll be even better on the big screen
- 17:40Speaker 4: in front of all of you.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Oh, it'll be fun with all your friends. There's a
- 17:43Speaker 2: lot of Easter eggs in the second one. Really, you
- 17:46Speaker 2: gotta know your Nintendo background for sure. Okay, a lot
- 17:49Speaker 2: of Easter eggs, which I personally enjoyed. This story sucked,
- 17:52Speaker 2: but I liked all.
- 17:53Speaker 5: The little things Easter eggs are fun.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Easter eggs are fun?
- 17:55Speaker 5: Are your cart?
- 17:56Speaker 4: I mean that is a rite of passage right there.
- 17:58Speaker 4: Like in my family, boy, like that's who got to
- 18:01Speaker 4: like play Santa at Christmas? Was who was the winner
- 18:04Speaker 4: at Mario Kart?
- 18:05Speaker 3: Really? Oh yeah, we would have a weird family.
- 18:07Speaker 4: A complete argument settled over Mario Kart. So I love
- 18:11Speaker 4: that you can go and play on a big sixty six.
- 18:14Speaker 5: Foot led screen. That's good family fund right there. And
- 18:17Speaker 5: speaking of families, do you hear about the school years? Already?
- 18:20Speaker 5: Bring in some drama?
- 18:22Speaker 4: Cherry Creek School District alone, So two schools had to
- 18:25Speaker 4: close because of flooding yesterday, so they didn't get to
- 18:28Speaker 4: go to their first day of school. Highline Community Elementary
- 18:31Speaker 4: School in Overland High School had some pretty serious water
- 18:34Speaker 4: damage from the floods over the weekend, so they had
- 18:36Speaker 4: to clear all that up and they were expecting to
- 18:38Speaker 4: open the schools.
- 18:39Speaker 5: Today, so they had to push back the opening day
- 18:41Speaker 5: just a little bit. But Cherry Creek High School do
- 18:43Speaker 5: you hear about this one?
- 18:44Speaker 4: They had to be put on temporary secure status yesterday
- 18:47Speaker 4: because a bear.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Rolled on bear story he.
- 18:53Speaker 4: Was looking to join the choir. They were looking for
- 18:56Speaker 4: a baritone.
- 18:57Speaker 3: Oh how long? That was really good?
- 19:05Speaker 2: Okay, you had so many stupid bears that one worked
- 19:09Speaker 2: for me a baritone boom boom.
- 19:15Speaker 5: Yeah, I wasn't ready for you to like it so much.
- 19:17Speaker 5: That was okay, so yeah.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Your Majesty's stamp of approval boom.
- 19:24Speaker 5: It was very good.
- 19:26Speaker 4: And then okay, all right, well then I'm done.
- 19:32Speaker 5: There's your mind, Jared Katie.
- 19:36Speaker 8: And Josh Sikes one hundred.
- 19:38Speaker 2: On a personal level, I want to give a shout
- 19:40Speaker 2: out to my cousin Carrie and her daughter Emma, driving
- 19:44Speaker 2: from Nebraska down to the Springs this morning. They're listening. Uh,
- 19:50Speaker 2: Mama Carey is dropping her daughter off for college.
- 19:55Speaker 6: Oh in the spring.
- 19:56Speaker 3: She's doing some medical school down there.
- 19:59Speaker 4: Wo wow.
- 20:01Speaker 3: You guys are old, Carrie.
- 20:02Speaker 5: I sure makes you feel like it, right.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Yes, exciting.
- 20:07Speaker 2: It's an exciting time for them, but also very sad
- 20:10Speaker 2: because you know, you're oldest is going off to college.
- 20:13Speaker 5: Yeah, that's a big deal. It's hard to wrap your
- 20:16Speaker 5: mind around.
- 20:17Speaker 2: All that, right, party like crazy, get into all sorts
- 20:20Speaker 2: of trouble.
- 20:20Speaker 5: Okay, well, you don't have to remind her.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Of all that binge drinking.
- 20:24Speaker 6: She's gonna Earn Degres.
- 20:26Speaker 3: She can come back pregnant. Wow.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Shout out to my cousin Carrie this morning on this
- 20:32Speaker 2: new adventure.
- 20:34Speaker 4: It's gonna be great. You're gonna have a doctor in

- 20:38Speaker 2: The thing is Uh, Emma's going to be the go to,

- 20:55Speaker 5: So much the radio DJ, but the lawyer.

- 23:04Speaker 2: dot com general emission tickets you can purchase there and
- 23:07Speaker 2: some VIP tickets as well. Yeah, which involves bumper camp
- 23:12Speaker 2: with the bumper cars.
- 23:13Speaker 3: All right, Katie, you got.
- 23:14Speaker 2: This list that you want to tell everybody about, just
- 23:17Speaker 2: mostly because it makes you sound intelligent some of them.
- 23:20Speaker 4: But I think everyone can kind of relate to one
- 23:23Speaker 4: of these twelve seemingly awkward behaviors that might just mean
- 23:27Speaker 4: you're highly intelligent, and a couple that yes, rang true
- 23:32Speaker 4: with me specifically because I deal with this so much.
- 23:35Speaker 3: You're so awkward, I am so awkward.
- 23:38Speaker 4: But one of them is that rehearsing conversations before they happen,
- 23:43Speaker 4: Like I get into my head so much about what
- 23:45Speaker 4: I'm going to say, how I'm going to say it,
- 23:47Speaker 4: how someone's going to perceive it. I don't know how
- 23:50Speaker 4: you deal with conversations, but I will work it out
- 23:53Speaker 4: in my head and then prepare your answer.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Katie hit me with me whole thing this morning. It
- 23:58Speaker 2: wasn't even higemor how are you?
- 24:01Speaker 3: The first thing that she hit me with this morning
- 24:03Speaker 3: was are we okay? It was one of those are
- 24:05Speaker 3: we okay? It was oh my god, no, it's too
- 24:08Speaker 3: early for this.
- 24:09Speaker 5: But again, I just have to like make And then
- 24:11Speaker 5: you even.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Told me I did You're like I I was thinking
- 24:14Speaker 2: about what I want to say.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm like Katie, everything's fine.
- 24:18Speaker 4: Yeah, So going into something like just breaking down every
- 24:22Speaker 4: possible scenario and then also.
- 24:24Speaker 3: I've done that though, I think that's beneficial.
- 24:26Speaker 5: I think exactly.
- 24:27Speaker 4: I think that a lot of people do that. They
- 24:29Speaker 4: want to make sure they put their best foot forward,
- 24:31Speaker 4: you know. But then something that again really resonated with
- 24:35Speaker 4: me is when you leave a conversation, man, you're gonna
- 24:38Speaker 4: play that over in your head for an hour or
- 24:40Speaker 4: two after two and I should have.
- 24:42Speaker 5: Said this, I don't do that at this and I would.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Have said this, I don't do that a lot.
- 24:46Speaker 5: No, I do that all the time.
- 24:47Speaker 2: The only time I do that is like, you know me,
- 24:51Speaker 2: I have a hard time doing any sort of serious conversation.
- 24:54Speaker 2: And my wife Nick Mack, knows that because I'm always
- 24:56Speaker 2: formulating a joke or a singer or a comeback. And
- 25:00Speaker 2: there's there's been times where I've walked away from conversations
- 25:02Speaker 2: and I'm like, damn, that was a good singer.
- 25:05Speaker 5: Used the singer.
- 25:06Speaker 3: No, exactly, that's the only time that happens well.
- 25:08Speaker 4: And I think that also, it's that we are so
- 25:13Speaker 4: critical of ourselves because we speak for a living. So
- 25:16Speaker 4: it's a lot of that too, where I'm like, oh,
- 25:18Speaker 4: this could have ended so much better.
- 25:20Speaker 3: These are signs that you're intelligent.
- 25:21Speaker 4: And another one is you just can't go with it.
- 25:25Speaker 4: Maybe this one feels familiar to you, Jeremy. But someone
- 25:28Speaker 4: proposes a plan, everyone else seems ready to move forward,
- 25:30Speaker 4: and you're like.
- 25:31Speaker 5: Wait a second, wait, I'm not ready yet.
- 25:33Speaker 4: I don't know all the moving parts, Like I need
- 25:35Speaker 4: I need more before I can be completely on.
- 25:38Speaker 2: No, no, no, Generally my thing is behind the scenes.
- 25:43Speaker 2: I go, that's stupid. Yeah, that's a stupid move.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Why would they do that? That's stupid. That's generally in.
- 25:51Speaker 4: My head truly, But if you can't just get on
- 25:53Speaker 4: board with the way the whole group is moving, you know,
- 25:57Speaker 4: then you're difficult.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Fire, I have an ego again.
- 26:02Speaker 4: Your brain has actually a low tolerance for fuzzy reasoning.
- 26:06Speaker 4: It can't incompetent or incomplete information.
- 26:10Speaker 5: It just can't deal with.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Logical now it rings listening to reasoning or experience.
- 26:19Speaker 3: Yeah, anyway, move on.
- 26:20Speaker 4: Okay, so whatever, this is another one small talk? Okay,
- 26:26Speaker 4: so discussing.
- 26:27Speaker 5: The weather, how are the kids?
- 26:30Speaker 9: You know?
- 26:30Speaker 3: Like, what do you do for work?
- 26:32Speaker 5: All of that makes you want to climb out of yours.
- 26:35Speaker 3: It makes me.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Want to plug in a toaster and get into a
- 26:38Speaker 2: bathtub full of water.
- 26:40Speaker 4: Give you a real topic, one with substance, and it's
- 26:44Speaker 4: off to the races.
- 26:45Speaker 3: Right. Small talk?
- 26:47Speaker 4: Yes, you could talk for hours, you really could, but
- 26:50Speaker 4: it has to be a good conversation.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Just don't talk to me. I would be better off
- 26:54Speaker 3: if you just didn't say anything to me. Well and honestly,
- 26:57Speaker 3: so what grade of a kid's in now? Like? You
- 26:59Speaker 3: don't care? No, you just don't care.
- 27:02Speaker 5: Bring up the little ones.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Did you have a good time? Are you happy to
- 27:07Speaker 3: be back? Yes? Yes, I'm good. It was great. I'm
- 27:10Speaker 3: glad to be here, thank you.
- 27:11Speaker 4: I think those big ones, those are the big ones
- 27:13Speaker 4: that are there. A few other ones are just like
- 27:15Speaker 4: you know, uh as far as just like hold on.
- 27:19Speaker 4: The first one was the one that you were the
- 27:21Speaker 4: hitting pause in the world that expects quick replies.
- 27:24Speaker 5: I think that.
- 27:24Speaker 4: That's one now that's really kind of just amped up
- 27:28Speaker 4: because of our instant like we need everything instance.
- 27:31Speaker 3: Well everything you're always accessible to. Yes, yes, I've tried
- 27:34Speaker 3: very hard with.
- 27:35Speaker 2: That one now to hit pause on myself before I
- 27:38Speaker 2: do any sort of replies. I'll sit on things now, yeah,
- 27:41Speaker 2: for a little bit longer. Yeah, I've given myself kind
- 27:44Speaker 2: of some cutoff times now in the afternoons, like you know,
- 27:47Speaker 2: five o'clock rolls around, No more work stuff, Yeah, you know,
- 27:50Speaker 2: no more replies, none of that.
- 27:51Speaker 3: It's this is me time now.
- 27:53Speaker 5: Well, and the quick reply is I mean again, it's like,
- 27:56Speaker 5: think of your.
- 27:56Speaker 3: Sitting Well, those are the ones that get you in trouble.
- 27:58Speaker 4: Well, you're sitting in the meeting and a question is
- 28:01Speaker 4: asked and everybody jumps on to answer because we are
- 28:04Speaker 4: trained to think that if we don't something's wrong with us,
- 28:07Speaker 4: Like if we don't have the quick reply, then we
- 28:09Speaker 4: don't know, and then people look at us funny, like
- 28:12Speaker 4: why didn't you answer when actually you're just taking it
- 28:15Speaker 4: all just like.
- 28:16Speaker 2: What I love watching the people that just like agree
- 28:19Speaker 2: and answer right away and just kind of repeat what
- 28:22Speaker 2: the person just said, and you're like, you didn't come
- 28:23Speaker 2: up with any answers, You just repeated what that person
- 28:26Speaker 2: just said.
- 28:26Speaker 4: Well, yeah, you are kind of just sitting back and watching.
- 28:29Speaker 4: Your brain is doing what they call quality control. So
- 28:33Speaker 4: when you look at it actually on the outside looking in,
- 28:36Speaker 4: people who do take a second to answer, their deemed
- 28:39Speaker 4: is more confident, trustworthy, and competent.
- 28:41Speaker 5: Those who respond that you, yeah.
- 28:45Speaker 6: What do you mean?
- 28:46Speaker 3: I feel like it's definitely me.
- 28:48Speaker 4: Yeah, well I love how you gave yourself a bat
- 28:51Speaker 4: on the bell. I think honestly, I do try and
- 28:55Speaker 4: not just respond right away because I am kind of
- 28:58Speaker 4: a little.
- 28:59Speaker 5: Cautious, especially in group settings.
- 29:01Speaker 4: I mean, something about me is I am very like
- 29:05Speaker 4: when we're on the air here talking and it's just
- 29:07Speaker 4: us three in the room, and it's just like you'll
- 29:09Speaker 4: find out everything you know about me because I have
- 29:11Speaker 4: like not even no filter. But I feel like I'm
- 29:13Speaker 4: pretty transparent, but out there.
- 29:16Speaker 3: It's different entertainment, it is, but with other if that's
- 29:19Speaker 3: what you want to call that.
- 29:20Speaker 4: It's kind of introverted, like you have to get to
- 29:22Speaker 4: know me before I'm really that, you know, before you
- 29:25Speaker 4: get that Katie, and.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Then you get that Katie and again you want to
- 29:30Speaker 2: plug in that toe cherry crawl into a.
- 29:33Speaker 5: You love me, you love me, you love it.
- 29:36Speaker 2: I'm reading this story here about Cherry Creek's Innovation Campus
- 29:41Speaker 2: in Centennial completing a major expansion that will increase the
- 29:45Speaker 2: number of students able to receive hands on career training.
- 29:49Speaker 2: The campus is going to offer twenty five different career pathways,
- 29:54Speaker 2: including nine new options like automation, Aerospace technician, VET assistant, HVAC, welding,
- 30:03Speaker 2: bakery and pastry Katie, Film and motion design. The expansion
- 30:08Speaker 2: costs about one hundred million bucks one hundred and thirty
- 30:11Speaker 2: thousand square feet.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Yeahda YadA YadA, But I.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Love it because it's all like hands on, hard working,
- 30:17Speaker 2: blue collar type jobs that we need.
- 30:20Speaker 3: So bad right now.
- 30:22Speaker 2: Nothing ai related in here that I'm reading well, and
- 30:25Speaker 2: I like.
- 30:25Speaker 4: It's a technical school essentially, but for a lot of
- 30:29Speaker 4: different things, a lot of things.
- 30:30Speaker 5: One focus, which.
- 30:31Speaker 3: Is in your hands. Believe it or not. You can
- 30:34Speaker 3: make a lot of money doing this kind of stuff.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Sadly, like all the technicians and HVAC people will probably
- 30:40Speaker 2: go to build data centers, electricians all that welding. But
- 30:44Speaker 2: at least you're out there, you know, learning a career
- 30:47Speaker 2: where you can use your hands and.
- 30:48Speaker 3: Easily make six figures a year. Easy.
- 30:51Speaker 5: You're gonna need to. You're gonna need to. It's not
- 30:53Speaker 5: even a flex anymore.
- 30:54Speaker 3: Easy.
- 30:55Speaker 2: Yeah, not to mention, like if you work your butt off,
- 30:57Speaker 2: like start your own welding company or HVAC company.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Or bakery or bakery, yes, you can call it. Squeeze
- 31:04Speaker 3: my buns.
- 31:05Speaker 4: You've worked already.
- 31:09Speaker 2: Head on down to squeeze my buns and get some
- 31:11Speaker 2: French bread for spaghetti tonight. All right, But like I said, no, AI,
- 31:16Speaker 2: nothing about chat GPT here. It is everywhere right now
- 31:20Speaker 2: at Chat, and the people are using it for crazy stuff.
- 31:23Speaker 9: Well.
- 31:23Speaker 4: I like that we are thinking outside the box with
- 31:26Speaker 4: it though, because I mean you look at Chat GPT
- 31:29Speaker 4: and writing emails is a big thing people do with it, right, Like, Uh,
- 31:34Speaker 4: the reasons people use it are kind of underwhelming, I think,
- 31:39Speaker 4: Like I was actually looking at this post where it
- 31:42Speaker 4: was talking about all the fascinating things that AI can do,
- 31:44Speaker 4: and I'm.
- 31:45Speaker 5: Like, why haven't I used it for this yet.
- 31:47Speaker 4: Somebody said that they dropped a screw on a very
- 31:51Speaker 4: like patterned carpet, like a lot of patterns.
- 31:55Speaker 3: It right, they took a picture.
- 31:58Speaker 10: They took a picture, uploaded it to chat gpto it found.
- 32:01Speaker 4: It circled it because what it does is it diagnoses
- 32:04Speaker 4: the pixels, so it separates all the pixels and looks
- 32:07Speaker 4: at it and it can come up with exactly where
- 32:10Speaker 4: it is.
- 32:10Speaker 5: There was a few instances of this.
- 32:12Speaker 4: Somebody said that they were in a health store and
- 32:15Speaker 4: they couldn't find the specific vitamins they were looking for,
- 32:17Speaker 4: so they took a picture of all of the bottles
- 32:20Speaker 4: of vitamins and chat gpt was able to zero in
- 32:23Speaker 4: on where that specific I had no idea.
- 32:25Speaker 3: Yes, that's brilliant, Oh, I will say.
- 32:27Speaker 2: When I was finishing my basement, I took shots of
- 32:29Speaker 2: the basement without the walls painted or the carpet in
- 32:32Speaker 2: and I ran it through chat and I said, make
- 32:35Speaker 2: the walls this color, make this wall this color, make
- 32:37Speaker 2: the carpet this color. I even uploaded a picture of
- 32:39Speaker 2: the carpet I was thinking about. Yeah, and it beat
- 32:41Speaker 2: poop pop poop, and it made the room look finished.
- 32:44Speaker 2: And I compared it to the actual finished room when
- 32:47Speaker 2: it was all said and done, and damn it was
- 32:50Speaker 2: spot on.
- 32:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:51Speaker 2: It was really really neat to see how the room
- 32:55Speaker 2: would look on your phone, you know, especially like when
- 32:57Speaker 2: you're buying carpet they give you that little square, you know,
- 32:59Speaker 2: and you bring it home, You're like, I guess it'll
- 33:01Speaker 2: look fine exactly with chat, it like laid it out
- 33:03Speaker 2: across the entire room.
- 33:04Speaker 5: And you're able to see, Yeah.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Did you see what the the the zers are using
- 33:10Speaker 2: the chat for now what Nick Knack was telling me
- 33:12Speaker 2: about this yesterday.
- 33:13Speaker 3: So they will lay.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Out three different tops, three different bottoms, three different pairs
- 33:19Speaker 2: of shoes, take a picture and say, chat, plan my
- 33:23Speaker 2: outfits for the week, like the color combinations. How will
- 33:25Speaker 2: I look in these? And it'll spit out what your
- 33:29Speaker 2: wardrobe will look.
- 33:30Speaker 3: Like for the week, like if things match up?
- 33:32Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, you can just throw any of your shirts down,
- 33:34Speaker 2: any of your pants and say create outfits for me.
- 33:37Speaker 7: And I wish we could have done that, yeah, oh yeah,
- 33:41Speaker 7: we wanted clueless.
- 33:42Speaker 2: For as well you can do it. Guess what you
- 33:45Speaker 2: can do it now? And Lord knows you need the help.
- 33:50Speaker 11: Today, Little ab Sweater, Yeah, no comments, silence, ste thanks's
- 34:00Speaker 11: hanging out with us this morning.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Jeremy, Katie and Josh grab your phone.
- 34:05Speaker 5: The fun starts now with Fast five.
- 34:07Speaker 1: I want to be happy to hear mom on the radio.
- 34:10Speaker 5: How fast can you be?
- 34:11Speaker 2: Fun?
- 34:11Speaker 1: To just play the game.
- 34:12Speaker 3: You're at the end of the show.
- 34:13Speaker 5: It's time. It's time to play Fast.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Five oh three six nine, sixteen forty nine with Jeremy,

- 34:35Speaker 2: Mix three oh three six nine one sixteen forty nine.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Always looking for the newbies, people that have never played
- 34:41Speaker 2: Fast five before. Maybe you're sitting in the car pool
- 34:45Speaker 2: lane because it's back to school time, kiddos, bug your
- 34:49Speaker 2: parents to have them call in and play three oh
- 34:51Speaker 2: three six nine one sixteen forty nine. If you get
- 34:55Speaker 2: placed on hold, do not hang up. We'll get you
- 34:58Speaker 2: on the air. Get to know you a little bit,
- 35:00Speaker 2: and then I'll pick a category, toss it at you,
- 35:03Speaker 2: and then you have ten seconds to reel off five
- 35:06Speaker 2: things about that category.
- 35:07Speaker 3: That's why we call it fast five.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Three O three six nine one, sixteen forty nine. Katie
- 35:13Speaker 2: examples hit me.
- 35:14Speaker 4: Okay, so you've asked for things like five animals with horns.
- 35:18Speaker 4: Also five reasons a neighbor would complain about you, and
- 35:21Speaker 4: the one that won yesterday started kind of a controversy
- 35:25Speaker 4: here with fast five.
- 35:26Speaker 3: Oh my god, Shaye.
- 35:28Speaker 5: Five things that are sold by the bunch.
- 35:30Speaker 2: People are still messaging me about broccoli and cauliflower not
- 35:34Speaker 2: being sold by the bunch.
- 35:36Speaker 5: It was the cauliflower controversy.
- 35:39Speaker 3: Six.
- 35:39Speaker 5: I had so many.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Messages also, but so with ahead of cauliflower not a bunch.

- 36:11Speaker 4: at pictures of that spot. Looks so much fun in
- 36:14Speaker 4: five seconds this summer taking the stage there this Saturday.

- 37:18Speaker 13: That's fun too.
- 37:20Speaker 3: Enjoy the quiet.
- 37:21Speaker 7: I know.
- 37:22Speaker 2: I saw a great Instagram video yesterday of a mom
- 37:25Speaker 2: dropped her kids off and she went back home, and
- 37:27Speaker 2: the video was just her holding her coffee, staring.
- 37:31Speaker 3: Off into the.

- 47:33Speaker 3: You're can go take your wife out on a date night.
- 47:34Speaker 6: All right?
- 47:35Speaker 8: All right?
- 47:36Speaker 4: HYI, Jody, bye, Kevin, jar you, Katie and Josh one hundred.
- 47:45Speaker 3: Let's talk about clothes. Gen Z now has a new word.
- 47:50Speaker 2: It's a slang insult for anything that's low quality or
- 47:54Speaker 2: inauthentic like me. It's called polyester. Oh, you're being so
- 48:03Speaker 2: polyester right now.
- 48:04Speaker 5: They use it as like it's.
- 48:06Speaker 3: Like low quality.
- 48:07Speaker 2: It's like like if you're wearing like a polyester suit
- 48:09Speaker 2: or something, you're like that is low quality. And for example,
- 48:13Speaker 2: there's a TikToker where an eighteen year old dude is
- 48:16Speaker 2: talking about his life. He wants in his twenties like
- 48:19Speaker 2: the penthouse in New York and fancy drinks at a
- 48:21Speaker 2: coffee shop. An automatic ai agent does all of his work,
- 48:26Speaker 2: he spends his afternoon playing tentis tennis, and everyone's saying
- 48:30Speaker 2: that he has a polyester lifestyle. It's low quality or inauthentic.
- 48:36Speaker 2: I don't really quite get that. How is that low quality? Yeah,
- 48:40Speaker 2: that's the example.
- 48:41Speaker 6: That they have here because it's just unrealistic exactly. That's
- 48:44Speaker 6: what it is, not real fabric. Yeah, it's fake.
- 48:48Speaker 5: And so I you know.
- 48:49Speaker 6: What, Oh, it was such a polyester story.
- 48:54Speaker 5: Repurposing words, what don't you're gonna clothes?
- 48:58Speaker 6: Though?
- 48:58Speaker 3: That was a stupid segue speaking of clothes, just went
- 49:00Speaker 3: right into it. Jere I'm gonna hear about this one.
- 49:04Speaker 2: We are in the process of getting the kiddos ready
- 49:06Speaker 2: for back to school, right, Yeah, and that means back
- 49:09Speaker 2: to school clothes, shopping, shoes, pants, all sorts of stuff.
- 49:12Speaker 2: We have a hard and fast rule now in the
- 49:14Speaker 2: house when it comes to my daughter and what she's
- 49:17Speaker 2: wearing to school because she's starting middle school. Uh huh,
- 49:19Speaker 2: she can wear no clothes that shows her tom tum,
- 49:23Speaker 2: no belly button clothes.
- 49:24Speaker 4: The conversation you have to have now, I mean it's everywhere,
- 49:28Speaker 4: it really is, is it school?
- 49:30Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely showing a lot of the
- 49:32Speaker 2: girls are showing their tomtumb's sixth, seventh, eighth grade.
- 49:36Speaker 3: It's a thing. It's a look, right, and it's hard
- 49:37Speaker 3: to say no because I mean, I do it.
- 49:41Speaker 2: But cool is definitely in my daughter's kitchen saying now
- 49:45Speaker 2: you're gonna wear clothes with full coverage.
- 49:48Speaker 3: Were you like that with the NAW?
- 49:49Speaker 16: I was.
- 49:50Speaker 4: It was a different time though, Like the schools wouldn't
- 49:52Speaker 4: allow it. The school would not allow you to show
- 49:55Speaker 4: up with those types of clothes that were revealing. They
- 49:58Speaker 4: still had the rule about, you know, your fingertips had
- 50:01Speaker 4: to come to a certain point when it came to
- 50:02Speaker 4: your shorts and everything. So the schools had rules that
- 50:06Speaker 4: we had to follow up. Made it a little easier
- 50:08Speaker 4: as the parent, because you don't want to shame your kid.
- 50:12Speaker 4: That's the last thing you want to do, and that's
- 50:13Speaker 4: not what it's about.
- 50:15Speaker 5: But it is hard.
- 50:16Speaker 4: This is such a hard age to get into as
- 50:19Speaker 4: the parent as the kid, because as the kid, all
- 50:22Speaker 4: you want to do is be adult.
- 50:23Speaker 5: You just want to do everything you want to do.
- 50:25Speaker 10: All the adults I know are always I just want
- 50:28Speaker 10: to be an adult, and as a parent, you want
- 50:30Speaker 10: to be like you don't really want to be an
- 50:32Speaker 10: adult though, enjoy being a kid, like enjoy where you're at,
- 50:36Speaker 10: and neither one of Yeah, you know.
- 50:38Speaker 5: So that's really the struggle.
- 50:40Speaker 4: And I was so grateful again the school had the
- 50:42Speaker 4: rules so I didn't have to come down on the
- 50:44Speaker 4: nunnas so bad.
- 50:45Speaker 3: I don't like throwing the word shaming out there.
- 50:47Speaker 2: That's such a buzzy frail. It's not a shaming thing.
- 50:50Speaker 2: It's teaching your children that there are locations where you
- 50:53Speaker 2: need to look somewhat professional. Yeah, that's why. Also why
- 50:56Speaker 2: we don't have we have the rule in our house.
- 50:58Speaker 2: You're not participating in pajama day because you look sloppy.
- 51:02Speaker 2: You don't go out into the real world and run
- 51:04Speaker 2: around the office in your pajamas.
- 51:06Speaker 5: But that's just a day thinking.
- 51:07Speaker 3: Better of yourself. You're in a.
- 51:09Speaker 2: Location where you're supposed to be learning dress nice. You're
- 51:14Speaker 2: not wearing your pajamas. No, we're not doing But.
- 51:17Speaker 5: That's a rule you have, steadfast, So that's good.
- 51:19Speaker 3: You're not participating in pajama day.
- 51:21Speaker 5: That's a rule you have.
- 51:22Speaker 3: You're encouraging dressing like a slob. I'm not into that
- 51:25Speaker 3: and that's.
- 51:26Speaker 5: Why I got into radio. But you're right, yeah, but
- 51:29Speaker 5: we still look nicer.
- 51:30Speaker 2: We still again, people have that stigma too that we
- 51:33Speaker 2: come here looking like sloppy, you know what. We are
- 51:36Speaker 2: still in a place of business, and that's an office.
- 51:39Speaker 2: Clients come and go. You know, you try to look nice.
- 51:41Speaker 5: Yeah, no, you really do. I mean that's changed a
- 51:43Speaker 5: lot too.
- 51:44Speaker 4: When I started in radio, I mean I was doing overnight,
- 51:46Speaker 4: so I literally would come in my pajamas exactly. So,
- 51:52Speaker 4: but it really is just such a hard conversation to
- 51:55Speaker 4: have with a middle schooler because then it's gonna go
- 51:58Speaker 4: into high school and then you know they're gonna rebel
- 52:01Speaker 4: against their parents, So it's just like, how are they
- 52:04Speaker 4: gonna do that?
- 52:05Speaker 5: Like, it's just there's so many things.
- 52:07Speaker 3: That smoking cigarettes.
- 52:09Speaker 7: And it's just remember Katie, my older sister, We went
- 52:15Speaker 7: to high school at the same time, and she would
- 52:17Speaker 7: do the thing where she wanted to rebel so badly.
- 52:19Speaker 6: She would wear a different outfit out the door.
- 52:21Speaker 7: Oh yeah, we get to school and then do the
- 52:23Speaker 7: changing thing like that's how bad it goes.
- 52:27Speaker 3: And put their makeup on totally.
- 52:29Speaker 2: Yeah, you were going off about some stuff you were
- 52:31Speaker 2: seeing on your screen over there this morning.
- 52:33Speaker 3: What were you looking at?
- 52:33Speaker 5: Well, again, I.
- 52:34Speaker 4: Just the outfits that people are letting their kids go
- 52:37Speaker 4: to school. And well the shorts, right, the shorts that
- 52:43Speaker 4: show all of the back.
- 52:45Speaker 6: No coverage, there's no coverage.
- 52:46Speaker 3: You got booty shorts in school.
- 52:49Speaker 4: And again this it's so hard to be able to
- 52:52Speaker 4: be like, hey, when you go to school, it's you know,
- 52:56Speaker 4: you don't want.
- 52:56Speaker 5: To be like it's about learning and that's what you're
- 52:58Speaker 5: there for. But this is a converse station you have
- 53:00Speaker 5: to have with your kids.
- 53:01Speaker 4: Not shorts, it will I I just my mom wouldn't
- 53:05Speaker 4: let me wear them.
- 53:07Speaker 5: We were not allowed to wear those at all.
- 53:11Speaker 4: And I remember when I was eighteen, one of the
- 53:13Speaker 4: first things I did was run out and buy a
- 53:16Speaker 4: pair of booty shorts.
- 53:16Speaker 3: Really you did.
- 53:18Speaker 5: My mom would not let me. She would not let.
- 53:20Speaker 4: Me have them, and so it's one of the first
- 53:22Speaker 4: things I did. And so like, that's where my concern
- 53:25Speaker 4: comes from, is like, what is your kid gonna do
- 53:27Speaker 4: to rebel because they're gonna, they're gonna.
- 53:30Speaker 3: I need to go out get pregnant. I'll show you mom.
- 53:35Speaker 2: I'm just saying, just saying, kid, he was rocking the
- 53:42Speaker 2: booty shirts. And then yeah, that's how we got later, well,
- 53:47Speaker 2: we were talking about the kids rocking the booty shorts
- 53:50Speaker 2: to school and showing off there.
- 53:52Speaker 3: Temmy tom Tum's Wade wrote in and said, uh, are
- 53:56Speaker 3: you kidding me?
- 53:57Speaker 2: You guys the schools nowadays don't care about dress code.
- 54:00Speaker 2: For some reason, he feels bad about his fifteen year
- 54:03Speaker 2: old son.
- 54:03Speaker 3: His son, what's his son wearing?
- 54:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I want to know the top or something. Wait,
- 54:10Speaker 2: I need more information. Why is your fifteen year old
- 54:13Speaker 2: son upset? I don't know if I would go that far.
- 54:17Speaker 2: I think the schools do.
- 54:18Speaker 3: Try to crack down on some you know, I think
- 54:20Speaker 3: they questionable attire, But sometimes I think it's like choose
- 54:23Speaker 3: your battles too, and let's be honest.
- 54:25Speaker 4: Like kids, especially in that teenage air era, they just
- 54:29Speaker 4: want to push the limits.
- 54:30Speaker 5: I know, I did.
- 54:30Speaker 6: I know.
- 54:31Speaker 4: I wanted to break all the rules as much as
- 54:33Speaker 4: I could because it's fun.
- 54:34Speaker 2: I was always wearing my knee high boots exactly leather shorts, right,
- 54:40Speaker 2: I was into it.
- 54:41Speaker 3: This came in from Kenny Hi Kenny.
- 54:45Speaker 2: Kenny Kenny says, guys, I quit drinking alcohol about six
- 54:48Speaker 2: months ago. I didn't have a problem or anything. I
- 54:51Speaker 2: just wanted to cut it out. Honestly, I feel better
- 54:53Speaker 2: without it, but I still like the taste of beer,
- 54:56Speaker 2: so I've gotten into non alcoholic beer. A couple weeks ago,
- 55:01Speaker 2: I started bringing one with me and my lunch to work.
- 55:07Speaker 2: I sit in the breakroom, eat my sandwich, crack open
- 55:11Speaker 2: and na beer and get back to work.
- 55:13Speaker 3: I never thought twice about it. I know, real men
- 55:16Speaker 3: of genius.
- 55:18Speaker 2: He said to me, it's basically the same thing as
- 55:20Speaker 2: having a coke. Well, one of my coworkers saw me
- 55:24Speaker 2: drinking and said, quote, are you seriously drinking a beer
- 55:27Speaker 2: at work? And then in parentheses he wrote Karen's am
- 55:30Speaker 2: I right. I showed it to her. I was like,
- 55:34Speaker 2: this is non alcoholic, and she still thought it was
- 55:36Speaker 2: completely inappropriate. Her argument says, it looks like I'm drinking
- 55:40Speaker 2: beer at work. If a client or someone from upper
- 55:43Speaker 2: management walk by, they're not going to know the difference. Now,
- 55:46Speaker 2: somehow this has become a whole office debate. Half my
- 55:49Speaker 2: coworkers think it's pretty damn funny.
- 55:51Speaker 3: Nobody cares.
- 55:53Speaker 2: They say, if there's no alcohol in it, there's no
- 55:55Speaker 2: difference between having that or sparkling water or an energy drink.
- 55:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 55:59Speaker 2: The other half thinks, even if I'm technically not doing
- 56:02Speaker 2: anything wrong, there's just something unprofessional about sitting in the
- 56:06Speaker 2: company breakroom at noon drinking something out of a can
- 56:10Speaker 2: of beer.
- 56:10Speaker 5: Nice legend, genius.
- 56:15Speaker 2: He says, it's actually been brought up to my manager,
- 56:17Speaker 2: and now hr is now I feel like being pressured
- 56:21Speaker 2: to stop doing something that isn't actually against any rule
- 56:24Speaker 2: that he wrote. I think I'm digging my heels in
- 56:27Speaker 2: a little bit, a lot more, a lot more, a
- 56:31Speaker 2: lot more.
- 56:32Speaker 6: Okay, what do you.
- 56:32Speaker 2: Guys think is drinking a non alcoholic beer at work
- 56:36Speaker 2: perfectly acceptable because there's no alcohol in it, or does
- 56:40Speaker 2: the fact that it looks and feels like you're drinking
- 56:42Speaker 2: a beer at work make it inappropriate, even if you're
- 56:45Speaker 2: technically sober.
- 56:47Speaker 3: A f love the show.
- 56:49Speaker 2: I hope this makes it on the air, and that's
- 56:51Speaker 2: from Kenny. Well, Kenny, it did make it on the air.
- 56:53Speaker 5: I sure did. You should get a job in our
- 56:56Speaker 5: sales department.
- 56:58Speaker 3: I think Kenny a good time.
- 57:00Speaker 2: This is wild to me when I read it, because
- 57:03Speaker 2: I never thought about this. I have never once thought
- 57:06Speaker 2: I'm gonna pack my lunch, go to work, toss in
- 57:09Speaker 2: a Mickey Ultra zero that has no.
- 57:11Speaker 3: Alcohol in it and crackling open at work.
- 57:14Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 57:14Speaker 5: Well, just to be fair, there's a small bit about I.
- 57:18Speaker 3: Mean, there's like a point it's use a listine.
- 57:21Speaker 4: Well, no, it's like drinking cacha, because you drink cambucha
- 57:25Speaker 4: at work.
- 57:25Speaker 5: A lot of people do that. There's a small slight.
- 57:29Speaker 2: So maybe if he drank like forty of these during
- 57:32Speaker 2: his break, he might have a buzz exactly.
- 57:35Speaker 3: It's non alcoholic.
- 57:36Speaker 2: Yeah, you again, you probably do have more alcohol on
- 57:39Speaker 2: your list dream maybe.
- 57:41Speaker 3: Anyway, the dilemma is here.
- 57:42Speaker 5: You don't swallow listerine for yourself.
- 57:46Speaker 2: It was gonna saying that cabinet absorbs into your gums
- 57:50Speaker 2: and your tongue.
- 57:50Speaker 3: That's some alcohol. In your blood stream. I guess science,
- 57:54Speaker 3: and really, you don't swallow your listream. You should see
- 57:56Speaker 3: how it makes your piecemell.
- 57:58Speaker 2: Your phone lines are already ring if you want to
- 58:00Speaker 2: sound off about this. Is it okay to have a
- 58:03Speaker 2: non alcoholic beer at work? Can you crack one open
- 58:06Speaker 2: during your break? It's non alcoholic?
- 58:09Speaker 3: H yeah, I guess well, I've got some thoughts on this.
- 58:12Speaker 3: Avery made it through. Hi Avery, Hello, Hello, Well top
- 58:17Speaker 3: of the morning to you.
- 58:18Speaker 2: What do you think about Kinny's dilemma with his non
- 58:20Speaker 2: alcoholic beer.
- 58:22Speaker 1: I think it's fine. I can see the confusion with like,
- 58:25Speaker 1: I mean, it still has the beer's logo, So I
- 58:28Speaker 1: think he needs like a really funny koozy to go
- 58:31Speaker 1: along with it.
- 58:34Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 58:34Speaker 2: Perfect, You get a custom made kouzie that says HR
- 58:37Speaker 2: sucks on it?
- 58:39Speaker 1: Yeah, or like safety training and progress.
- 58:42Speaker 3: Oh there you go, or just one that says I'm
- 58:45Speaker 3: not drunk.
- 58:46Speaker 12: Yeah, exactly, Okay.
- 58:49Speaker 3: So kuzy aside. Do you think it's appropriate or inappropriate
- 58:53Speaker 3: to have non alcoholic beer at work?
- 58:56Speaker 1: I think it depends on the workplace. Honestly. I I
- 59:00Speaker 1: mean I'm going to go with it's not inappropriate, that.
- 59:04Speaker 3: It's not inappropriate, So you're okay with it?
- 59:07Speaker 1: I would be. Yeah, it's the same thing as kombucha.
- 59:11Speaker 2: Like Katie said, Yeah, what's the one business you feel
- 59:14Speaker 2: like you shouldn't be cracking open a non alcoholic beer.
- 59:18Speaker 1: I feel like, if you're in like a big corporate
- 59:21Speaker 1: meeting with all these clients, you probably shouldn't. But if
- 59:25Speaker 1: you're sitting at sitting at a table having your lunch,
- 59:28Speaker 1: you're alone, I think it's totally fine.
- 59:31Speaker 2: You know what I thought it would be funny, is
- 59:32Speaker 2: like right before you head into surgery.
- 59:34Speaker 1: No, yeah, that would be hilarious.
- 59:39Speaker 13: No.
- 59:39Speaker 4: I was thinking like a police officer, like you probably
- 59:42Speaker 4: don't want to be in uniform even.
- 59:43Speaker 1: If it is, yeah, alcoholic, I think that would be
- 59:46Speaker 1: funnier alcoholic beer in your hand.
- 59:50Speaker 2: Oh, Avery, you're making us laugh. I got a bunch
- 59:53Speaker 2: of other calls to get to. I'm putting in you
- 59:54Speaker 2: in camp. Yeah, it's fine, don't worry about it, Kenny,
- 59:57Speaker 2: So thank you Avery for calling in.
- 59:59Speaker 4: Here?
- 59:59Speaker 3: Is Mark? Hi?
- 1:00:00Speaker 8: Mark? Hey, how you doing well?
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: We're super dupes, buddy.
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: Do you think it's okay for Kenny to have a
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: non alcoholic beer during lunch at work?
- 1:00:09Speaker 8: Personally?
- 1:00:09Speaker 9: I wouldn't care. But the issue here is more important
- 1:00:13Speaker 9: is that he's causing stripes in the workplace, and that
- 1:00:16Speaker 9: he's causing an issue with management and other people, and
- 1:00:19Speaker 9: he's taking a stand. It's just going to hurt himself.
- 1:00:22Speaker 9: You know, he's gonna want raises, he's gonna want promotions.
- 1:00:25Speaker 9: And I think that when you get kind of a
- 1:00:28Speaker 9: moniker of being a trouble maker, whether you're right or
- 1:00:30Speaker 9: wrong doesn't really matter. This is such a trivial issue.
- 1:00:33Speaker 9: I would have just said, hey, I'm really sorry, I
- 1:00:35Speaker 9: just never bring another beer, and if he doesn't like it,
- 1:00:38Speaker 9: then go somewhere else and work for himself. But I
- 1:00:41Speaker 9: just don't think he should, cause I think he's done
- 1:00:43Speaker 9: to be causing trouble at work and to take a
- 1:00:45Speaker 9: stand on something that I see.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: Is trivial to the voice of reading.
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: You are so smart because you're right, though you could
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: do a million things right, and the one wrong thing
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: to do that is what they remember.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: Oh, don't I know it? Such a good point, don't
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: I know it? Mark?
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: Real?
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: But again, Mark, it's only one Karen who's all of
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: a sudden caused.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: Hr hr Man.
- 1:01:11Speaker 9: So this has become an issue. He should have backed
- 1:01:14Speaker 9: down immediately and just like, hey, I didn't realize it
- 1:01:17Speaker 9: was a problem. I'm sorry, it's not alcoholic. He I
- 1:01:19Speaker 9: won't do it again, guys, And then he would have
- 1:01:21Speaker 9: been a hero for them.
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: Really, that's what his cousy can say.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: I'm a Mark, thank you for your very logical response.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: So I'm going to say I'm gonna put camp in him,
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: and camp no not appropriate. What I would do is
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: I'd find some stuff that that Karen is doing and
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: start complaining about that.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: Dude, what's up Monica.
- 1:01:48Speaker 12: I also agree with Mark, I'm a no, it's not okay.
- 1:01:52Speaker 12: I used to work in HR, and we have like
- 1:01:55Speaker 12: a golden rule that it's really not what your intention
- 1:01:59Speaker 12: is is how it's seed. I think HR can really
- 1:02:03Speaker 12: kind of come back at him and find, you know
- 1:02:05Speaker 12: that one day he's late or something because he's you know,
- 1:02:09Speaker 12: staring the pot. If he's not planning to be there
- 1:02:12Speaker 12: for a long time, then I'd be like, you know what,
- 1:02:15Speaker 12: forget it, get.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: Bottoms up.
- 1:02:18Speaker 12: Something, you know whatever, I'm gonna drink what I want
- 1:02:20Speaker 12: to drink. It's non alcoholic. But if he wants to
- 1:02:23Speaker 12: stick around, I think you just kind of have to
- 1:02:25Speaker 12: play their game and be like fine, Yeah.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: It does really put a bull's eye on you, I
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: think for anything in the future.
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: Because again, once you bring it to HR, then they
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: have to create the paper tray and all of a
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: sudden it's documented.
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: And yeah, you make a really.
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: Good point too, Monica, You're so wise. I'm putting you
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: in camp. No, don't do it anymore. Thank you, Monica.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: I'm gonna go ahead and do one more call Kelly's
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: been holding forever. Hi, Kelly.
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: Oh no, it's this Kelly, perfect way to end. I
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: want to know what you think about this, Kelly.
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: Why do I feel like you do crack open cold
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: ones at work?
- 1:03:02Speaker 13: I have cold beer, Sammy Adams Port Rocker all.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: Day boy, well done? All right? What are your thoughts
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: on this guy? Is this a yay or in ay?
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: You can drink non alcoholic at work.
- 1:03:13Speaker 13: Well, if it's within the company guidelines, you can do
- 1:03:16Speaker 13: whatever you want, but you got to play smarter, not harder.
- 1:03:21Speaker 13: I had a beer than coozy it up, Like Avery said, put.
- 1:03:24Speaker 8: A coozy on it?
- 1:03:25Speaker 13: What are you drinking?
- 1:03:25Speaker 8: A phantom?
- 1:03:26Speaker 13: Mind your own business.
- 1:03:28Speaker 10: Mind your business, your business, Get out of my face
- 1:03:32Speaker 10: or put it in a cup that you can't distinguish
- 1:03:34Speaker 10: it right, like, be smarter about it.
- 1:03:36Speaker 5: That's so smart.
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: My only thing, Kelly, is even if you disguise it
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: and all that, the bad thing is is it's gonna
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: still smell like beer on your breath and everything. And
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: if you do go into a meeting, nobody's gonna know
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: if you had a non alcoholic beer or not.
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: They just smell beer on it.
- 1:03:51Speaker 13: Why you play smarter? You have some triank gum.
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: Look at this guy, he's got.
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: It all working.
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: That's when you swallow your mouthwa swallow your list all
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: day long.
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: Yep, I've been waiting for this all morning. It's a
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: big mixed one hundred sports report. What you got, Josh?
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: Well?
- 1:04:09Speaker 7: The European Marathon Championships happened a couple days ago and
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: Abby Donnelly was all ready to make this race and
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: she was so excited to get going.
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: She was training so hard for years.
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: And then she realized the night before the race that
- 1:04:22Speaker 7: she had brought two different pairs of shoes.
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: Oh no, and she was freaking out about it.
- 1:04:28Speaker 16: And definitely the liability. I actually brought two different sized
- 1:04:33Speaker 16: shoes by accident to this race. I tried them on
- 1:04:37Speaker 16: last night and I was like, the right one, just
- 1:04:40Speaker 16: not a felize.
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: So then I had to call my parents and my boyfriend.
- 1:04:45Speaker 16: And then they literally run to the Star It was
- 1:04:48Speaker 16: half an hour before.
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: So not only did she end up being able to
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: get the right size shoes, she finished the race. She
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: finished in third place and as a team Great Britain
- 1:04:59Speaker 7: was able to finish and get the gold medal. So
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: it was a big deal for her to get that
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: correct shoe. But the reason this video is going viral
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: is for how she sounded.
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: I didn't notice anything. What was the deal?
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: That's what I was like, Wait, she has a boyfriend
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: and she wants her mom and dad to come.
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: Like she's like twenty five.
- 1:05:16Speaker 5: I don't agree.
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: That's your big takeaway?
- 1:05:19Speaker 7: Yes?
- 1:05:19Speaker 5: Is that not yours?
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: That's your big takeaway out of that audio.
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: Knitting as she's running in my mind like, what do
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: you mean that's not your big takeout?
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: I think she sounded completely normal. I think it's cute, realzy.
- 1:05:31Speaker 16: Out of all people, No, I'm definitely the liability. I
- 1:05:35Speaker 16: actually brought two different size shoes.
- 1:05:38Speaker 5: By accident to this race.
- 1:05:41Speaker 16: I tried them on last night and I was like,
- 1:05:43Speaker 16: they're right, just not felize.
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: So then I had to call my parents and my boyfriend.
- 1:05:49Speaker 16: And then they literally run to the star. It was
- 1:05:52Speaker 16: half an hour before.
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: I think she sounds charming. Her parents are one and
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: thirty years she's charming.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: She is.
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: It's incredibly is it unfortunate?
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: Though?
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: If she is like twenty two years old.
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: It's so crazy.
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: She really is. She's like twenty five. She's a marathon.
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: I think she's charming. So did she do the race?
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: I was she did.
- 1:06:11Speaker 7: She finished the first one to finish the bronze medal,
- 1:06:14Speaker 7: and as a team it gave you.
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: Got bronze gold.
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: So they as they finished first, second, third and collectively
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: got the gold.
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: So and he's got gas, and he's got.
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: Jolie good, Jolie jolly, bloody, freaking cool, freaking bloody Johnny.
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: Cool, just drunk, drunk, wrong shoes all today. I can't believe.
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: I border different times.
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: And then I went for I.
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: Had a little nip of Scotch taste, a little dip
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: from my brother. My brother shoes different.
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: You thought you'd heard it all, just when you think
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: you've shoot everything, not even close.
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: Spirally, she's getting canceled.
- 1:07:00Speaker 8: What's the local buzz?
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: What can we expect?
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: We're diving headfirst into the chaos.
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: It's the mile high height, ye know, what's what's what's
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: up with JJ on nix one hundred.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: Alright, it is time to talk about what is trending
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: this morning. You know those little boxes that you see
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: kind of in neighborhoods that look like little houses and
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: there's the door on the front and.
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: You open them up and you can swap out books.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: They're like little mini libraries, right, Well, those are expanding
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: now to free blockbusters popping up everywhere. They look like
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: those little you know what do they call that. It's
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: like take one, leave one, something like that. It doesn't
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: matter anyway. They're blue, like the Blockbuster with the yellow
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: little logo on there and everything, and people are filling
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: them with VHS's, DVD's, blu rays, so you can go
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: take a movie and then leave one or steal them all,
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: you know, depends on what type of person.
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: You are sell them on next door.
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: Yeah like that.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: So there's a company that it's involved with doing this,
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: and you can actually go to their website download the
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: Blockbuster template template that you can put on the side
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: of your own for your neighborhood and like, and they're
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: popping up all around the country. Then you send this
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: company a picture of it, and they're creating a map
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: now of all the many blockbusters around the country.
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: We got to get on board with this. We gotta
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: do this.
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: We need one right out the station, right outside the station.
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: We get a lot of media.
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: We don't use here anymore. We can fill that.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: Oh, we got CDs for days that we can fill
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: that up. We got CDs with ten thousand sound effects
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: on them. Yeah, put that if you're an uber driver,
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: put that in your car and just hit play. Have
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: a good time and the entire time you can just
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: play sound effects for everybody.
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: All right, anything else going on?
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: A Kentucky man has claimed a Guinness World Record for
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: assembling a mister Potato head while blindfolded in seven point
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: nine seconds.
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: So think about that. He's fondling that.
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: Mister, say like that gets you again, your rise, nose mouth?
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: Seven point nine seconds. That's pretty darn impressive.
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: Else, give anyone a record now.
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: Mister Potato that's probably into it.
- 1:09:06Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, he likes it.
- 1:09:08Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:09:08Speaker 5: It's a huge flex for both of them else.
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: Okay, we'll get ready Mario Kart in McGregor Square. Who
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: wants them an afternoon to Mario Kart on a big
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: sixty six foot led screen.
- 1:09:21Speaker 5: This is gonna be amazing. So how they're gonna do it?
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: Four players are gonna go head to head, so they'll
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: have thirty minute rate.
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: Yeah that's something for you.
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: Can you just imagine like Donkey Kong and his little
- 1:09:34Speaker 4: thing and you know how he like wipes out, Yeah,
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: the banana peel, like, oh, so many memories coming back.
- 1:09:40Speaker 5: So again McGregor's Square.
- 1:09:42Speaker 4: On Thursday, they're gonna have thirty minute racing sessions running
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: from one to six. You do have to get registered
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: for this, so hurry up because I believe they're filling
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: up really quickly.
- 1:09:51Speaker 5: You have to reserve a spot for each.
- 1:09:54Speaker 4: Player and then friends and family you can come and
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: cheer on your favorite carter and you don't have to register,
- 1:10:00Speaker 4: So if you just want to come and observe, you
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: don't have.
- 1:10:02Speaker 5: To get to their website.
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: But six point thirty, after all the Mario Kart is
- 1:10:06Speaker 4: all said and done, they're going to show Super Mario
- 1:10:09Speaker 4: Galaxy on that big screen for their final movie.
- 1:10:12Speaker 5: Night of the summer too.
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: Yeah, that's fun.
- 1:10:14Speaker 5: Yeah, it's gonna be a lot of fun out there. Again.
- 1:10:16Speaker 5: McGregor Square is always a party.
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: And just one of the reasons to get down to
- 1:10:20Speaker 4: downtown Denver. But Mario Kart, sign me up for that.
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: I am still raining champ in my household. And then
- 1:10:27Speaker 4: one more, let's talk about the sensory friendly hours at
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: the Air and Space Museum. It's coming up on Sunday,
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: so we want to get the word out that families
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: with children, teenagers and adults with processing disorders and cognitive disabilities,
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: this is your day to come experience a museum in
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: a low sensory environment. So I like that they're doing
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: that thinking of everybody to come out and have a
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: good time for that. So again, that is at the
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: Air and Space Museum on Sunday.
- 1:10:53Speaker 5: There, good, there's jamaha. Hi, it's you versus a Katie.
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: Unless your brain runs on TikTok Reality TV and Red.

- 1:11:32Speaker 2: put your left arm right up in the air and don't.

- 1:11:40Speaker 3: No, it's even worse. How about now there, we might
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: be a little better.

- 1:12:14Speaker 3: Anything you want to say.

- 1:12:19Speaker 1: Yeah, let's do it.
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: All right, Katie's gonna leave the studio. She goes into
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: a room where she can't hear anything.
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: I come up with the questions, so there is no
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: cheating at all, and then we'll find out if you're
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: right or wrong once we bring her back in.
