- 0:47Speaker 5: as soon as I could afford it, so I had
- 0:49Speaker 5: this done years ago.
- 0:51Speaker 4: Is that really an extravagance? I thought? I thought it's
- 0:55Speaker 4: a medical necessity. I think in your case it was.
- 0:57Speaker 6: But I.
- 0:59Speaker 5: Every once in a while I'll get one little random

- 1:18Speaker 3: I had my back done and it stayed, It stayed,
- 1:22Speaker 3: gone right.
- 1:23Speaker 2: You get an occasional stray, but you know it.
- 1:25Speaker 5: We're oh it's it's not cheap, but it is moneyless eight.

- 1:33Speaker 4: That's right.
- 1:35Speaker 2: I once spent forty dollars for a really cool laser
- 1:38Speaker 2: cut titanium comb.
- 1:40Speaker 4: What a it's a comb.
- 1:42Speaker 2: It's a comb. It's made out of titanium. It works
- 1:46Speaker 2: just like a plastic comb.
- 1:47Speaker 4: From will and to will. See. Now that's a perfect examp.
- 1:50Speaker 4: That is a great example. You didn't need a dollar.
- 1:53Speaker 4: It was unnecessary. Yeah.

- 2:00Speaker 2: had me.

- 2:10Speaker 2: friend instead.
- 2:11Speaker 4: Incredibly lucky to have generous, loving family. Oh yeah.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Eight seven seven six h two nine six nine six
- 2:17Speaker 1: something that you the most extravagant thing you've purchased for
- 2:20Speaker 1: yourself that isn't a home or a car.
- 2:23Speaker 2: I bought a three thousand dollars laptop, which my nephew
- 2:26Speaker 2: instantly bricked by trying to show my brothers two girls
- 2:29Speaker 2: in one cup downloaded a virus that I couldn't afford
- 2:32Speaker 2: to get fixed. Oh, I think he feels so guilty
- 2:34Speaker 2: he still pays for my phone service.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Let's see, we got a phone there you have, Allison
- 2:41Speaker 1: sa Hi, Alison Sabo.
- 2:45Speaker 8: I so I think the most extravagant thing I've ever bought, Like,

- 2:59Speaker 8: two dogs and I have a king size bed. I
- 3:04Speaker 8: want to kick the dogs out of the room. I do,
- 3:07Speaker 8: and it's awesome.
- 3:08Speaker 4: It sounds like a necessity. Alison. Yeah with the two dogs.
- 3:11Speaker 4: Yeah all right, thank you.
- 3:12Speaker 8: Well, we had we had a queen for a while,
- 3:15Speaker 8: but then I.
- 3:15Speaker 9: Was like, screw this, I'm buying you.

- 3:32Speaker 3: By the way, yes, good to see you.
- 3:34Speaker 11: So I bought a ring. So here's the story. This
- 3:39Speaker 11: was actually on on Tim's birthday and I went to
- 3:42Speaker 11: go get a pedicure, which is in the same parking
- 3:45Speaker 11: lot as machine company. Thought, oh, I'm going to go
- 3:48Speaker 11: get my rings cleaned. And as they're cleaning my rings,
- 3:52Speaker 11: so I was looking nice for my husband for his birthday.
- 3:55Speaker 11: I said what is that? And they said that's a
- 3:58Speaker 11: black sapphire And I was like, can I can I
- 4:01Speaker 11: try that?
- 4:02Speaker 2: All?
- 4:02Speaker 11: You bets my middle finger perfectly without any sizing, and
- 4:07Speaker 11: I was like, birthday.
- 4:13Speaker 3: On his birthday.
- 4:14Speaker 11: On his birthday, that is the price of probably a
- 4:17Speaker 11: good car.
- 4:18Speaker 10: Pant.
- 4:19Speaker 4: There you go. All right, thanks Meg, it's a.
- 4:21Speaker 11: Real nice one. But it's beautiful.

- 4:24Speaker 11: I'll show you guys next time I see Yes, yeah,
- 4:26Speaker 11: talk to you later.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 4:28Speaker 4: Let's go to Holly. Hello, Hollyhi, Holly, what did you buy?
- 4:32Speaker 12: I bought a French bulldog.
- 4:37Speaker 4: They shouldn't exist? Are you happy?
- 4:40Speaker 7: But I am very happy?
- 4:43Speaker 10: I love Frederick.
- 4:44Speaker 1: He is my best friend, fred How long have you
- 4:47Speaker 1: had Frederick? That's a great name for him.
- 4:49Speaker 11: By he'll be four years old in February.
- 4:52Speaker 4: And is his health good?
- 4:55Speaker 9: Oh yeah, he's in great health.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Okay, but he's a snore or is it though?
- 4:59Speaker 11: Oh? They all nor, they all far.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I actually have five now exactly, watch exactly, you have
- 5:04Speaker 1: five French bulldogs. I do.
- 5:08Speaker 11: I bought Frederick and a year later I got a
- 5:11Speaker 11: girl named Fiona and they had babies and I sold
- 5:18Speaker 11: two of them and I kept.
- 5:20Speaker 7: The other three.
- 5:21Speaker 4: Wow, there you go.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Well that is an extravagant.
- 5:24Speaker 4: It's a family.
- 5:25Speaker 2: And if you were to change if you were to
- 5:27Speaker 2: change his name to Froederic, I think Frodrick, that would
- 5:30Speaker 2: be fun.
- 5:33Speaker 1: See you later, Thank you. Let's get going. What's the
- 5:36Speaker 1: thing you purchased? Kind of an extravagance, but you know,
- 5:40Speaker 1: other than a house or a car, it's like me
- 5:42Speaker 1: I got. I have a Brevel toaster of an air
- 5:45Speaker 1: fryer which was like over three hundred dollars, and a
- 5:49Speaker 1: Brevel coffee machine that was over three hundred dollars. And
- 5:52Speaker 1: that's a lot of money to spend on them. But man,
- 5:54Speaker 1: I do love them, both of them.
- 5:57Speaker 2: All right, Let's go to sid, I I said, what
- 6:01Speaker 2: did you do?
- 6:01Speaker 4: What did you do?
- 6:03Speaker 5: Oh?
- 6:04Speaker 10: I bought a very expensive automated kitty litter machine.
- 6:09Speaker 4: I saw those.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I've seen those online, and I used to I used
- 6:14Speaker 1: to have to clean the cat box. I don't do
- 6:16Speaker 1: it anymore. My kid does it. But I said to
- 6:19Speaker 1: my wife, I want to get one of these. I
- 6:20Speaker 1: think it was like three or four hundred dollars or something.
- 6:23Speaker 1: She said for a cat box.
- 6:25Speaker 10: No, but yeah, this was like seven or eight hundred
- 6:31Speaker 10: dollars in and I had a good justification for it though.
- 6:35Speaker 10: My male cat had a urinary blockage, which is deadly
- 6:42Speaker 10: in some cases. So each time one of the cats
- 6:46Speaker 10: uses the litter box, I can tell if they've entered.
- 6:49Speaker 10: So now I can see if he goes too frequently,
- 6:52Speaker 10: I know there's a problem.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Okay, how much how much did you pay for a
- 6:56Speaker 1: catbox litter box?
- 6:58Speaker 4: Seven hundred?
- 6:58Speaker 10: It was like seven or eight wow?
- 7:02Speaker 2: Wow?
- 7:02Speaker 10: All right, all right, well it's keeper keep it in
- 7:06Speaker 10: the bill for his surgery.
- 7:08Speaker 4: Worth it?
- 7:09Speaker 11: Right?
- 7:09Speaker 4: All right? Thank you? Thanks, Let's go to Alexy. Alex Hi.
- 7:15Speaker 13: I bought a pen when I was in college for
- 7:18Speaker 13: a hundred bucks one.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Hundred dollars pen. Wow, what kind was it?
- 7:23Speaker 13: I want to I don't remember, but I know it
- 7:25Speaker 13: came in like the fanciest box I've ever seen. This
- 7:27Speaker 13: was like fifteen years.
- 7:28Speaker 12: Ago, so you know, a hundred bucks.
- 7:30Speaker 13: It was a decent amount of money. But it's the
- 7:32Speaker 13: funniest part is I wanted to impress people by, you know,
- 7:34Speaker 13: whenever they want a pen, I'd have a fancy pen,
- 7:37Speaker 13: and I'd buy suits at the I for like three
- 7:39Speaker 13: dollars and take them to a tailor. But low, behold,
- 7:41Speaker 13: I always had the nicest pen around.
- 7:45Speaker 4: Still have it everywhere?
- 7:46Speaker 13: On everything?
- 7:47Speaker 4: You still have it?
- 7:48Speaker 1: I do not.
- 7:49Speaker 13: I know I lost it at my college returnity once
- 7:52Speaker 13: and then it turned up two years later in a couch,
- 7:54Speaker 13: and then I proceeded to lose it again a few
- 7:56Speaker 13: months later.
- 7:56Speaker 5: You can't be trusted with an expensive pen, That's right,
- 7:59Speaker 5: you don't.
- 8:00Speaker 13: Yeah, no, that was definitely the last one.
- 8:02Speaker 12: I particulated.
- 8:03Speaker 4: All right, there you go, see you later, thank you.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Let's see.
- 8:06Speaker 4: This is Mauricio. Hey, Mauricio Racio piaz.
- 8:10Speaker 6: Hi, Good morning, team. I apologize if there's any delay
- 8:15Speaker 6: here whatever. I bought a racing sim setup so I
- 8:21Speaker 6: have a seat, I have a steering wheel, I have
- 8:24Speaker 6: pedals that I connect to a PlayStation console too well
- 8:29Speaker 6: to rate.
- 8:29Speaker 1: It's a you're a you're a big car racing Formula
- 8:34Speaker 1: one fan, right I am?
- 8:36Speaker 6: I am. It was terribly expensive, but I really enjoy it.
- 8:41Speaker 6: I mean it's cheaper than buying a car and wheels
- 8:43Speaker 6: and race.
- 8:44Speaker 4: So how much did you pay for a setup?
- 8:46Speaker 6: Like? Y?
- 8:47Speaker 4: What's what's that cost?
- 8:49Speaker 9: So?
- 8:49Speaker 6: The seat alone was like two hundred bucks, the steering
- 8:53Speaker 6: wheel and pedals were almost eight hundred and fifty dollars.
- 8:57Speaker 4: Wow, all right, yeah.
- 8:58Speaker 6: But again that's a low end.
- 9:01Speaker 4: Yeah. Do you do you have a family, Mauricio?
- 9:05Speaker 9: No?
- 9:05Speaker 4: No, yeah, I didn't think so see you later.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Where are your family? That is rude?
- 9:13Speaker 2: Right, okay, thank you. Let's see eight seven seven six
- 9:18Speaker 2: two nine six nine six.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Jake is here? Hi, Jake, Ahi? How are you good?
- 9:23Speaker 4: What'd you buy?
- 9:25Speaker 9: I bought a massage chair from Costco?
- 9:28Speaker 3: And how often do you get in the massage chair?
- 9:30Speaker 4: I'm curious? Every day?
- 9:33Speaker 3: Uh?
- 9:34Speaker 9: When I first got it, like the first year, yeah,
- 9:36Speaker 9: every day? Now that's probably once or twice a week
- 9:39Speaker 9: or just whenever I feel I need it.
- 9:40Speaker 4: It's uh, is it really works well? Though?
- 9:44Speaker 9: It does it's a really we got the top of
- 9:46Speaker 9: the line one that was over at Costco. I was
- 9:49Speaker 9: actually teasing my wife, we're walking by, saw these really
- 9:53Speaker 9: expensive chairs and I said kind of loudly. The salesman
- 9:56Speaker 9: was there and I said, hey, what hey, anyway we
- 9:59Speaker 9: buy a a ten thousand dollars chair? And he just
- 10:02Speaker 9: kind of looks and says, we'll come try it. And
- 10:04Speaker 9: the next thing I know, we're going out of there.
- 10:08Speaker 4: Get you in the sea itself. What was really ten grand?
- 10:14Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 10:14Speaker 9: Man, the top the top model was almost ten grand.
- 10:18Speaker 9: We ended up buying the floor model that was there,
- 10:21Speaker 9: so it was like half the price.
- 10:23Speaker 4: It was still so now, how long ago did you
- 10:25Speaker 4: get this?
- 10:27Speaker 9: Probably about five years ago.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Now you've got your mileage you're doing, You've got your
- 10:31Speaker 2: mileage out of it.
- 10:33Speaker 9: My whole family loves it, so we'll go all right.

- 11:22Speaker 4: That is pretty cool. What do you do? What do
- 11:24Speaker 4: you do with it?
- 11:27Speaker 12: It hangs in a frame on my wall.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Yep, okay, because you'd pay that for a piece of art.
- 11:32Speaker 5: It's art, all right, I think that's exactly Yeah.
- 11:36Speaker 4: I see.
- 11:37Speaker 1: I I like people who buy stuff though that it's extravagant,
- 11:41Speaker 1: but they can do something with it. Well, I guess

- 12:09Speaker 5: Because I know people that at bottom and said, yeah,

- 14:59Speaker 7: a and by at least one vampire. I bought it
- 15:02Speaker 7: in New Orleans.

- 15:56Speaker 15: got divorced six months later?
- 15:59Speaker 4: Six months That's that was a waste of money?
- 16:03Speaker 1: Was it?
- 16:03Speaker 4: Not getting your mileage out of that.
- 16:05Speaker 15: It really was no, and it was like it was
