- 0:57SPEAKER_00: Hello everyone, and welcome back to another episode of the Live Well podcast.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: Today we are talking all about jealousy and comparisonitis.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: This came as a request in the portal, which if you haven't joined yet, it's my free community.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: I post little codes, little nuggets, little activations, I answer questions in there.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: It's basically like a deeper dive from my Instagram.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: It's a really close-knit community.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: So I love it.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: So if you feel like you want kind of to get a sense of what it's like to be in one of my containers, or you kind of just want more support and you kind of like what I do, then that's definitely the place to be.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: And like I said, it's free.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: So hop onto there.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: But the question came with how do you handle jealousy and comparisonitis?
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: So we're going to be breaking that down today, kind of like where it comes from, why you're feeling that way, and what you can do about it.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: But before we jump into the show, I just want to mention that if you enjoy the episodes, if you enjoy my show, I would love for you to share it either with friends, family, on your Instagram stories.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: Show me you listening to it.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: I don't care if you're walking, cooking, you know, whatever you're doing.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: I love to see you listening to it.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: And I also love your DMs about what you learn from it.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: I know you guys loved the one with my fiance.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: Um, if you haven't listened to that one, that one is so good.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Um, I got like probably the most DMs ever about that one.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: Just about seeing that perspective and like really hearing what it takes to build a relationship that nourishes your soul and one that, you know, he leads.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: So I love hearing from you guys.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: So definitely let me know.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: And if you have requests, I I love it because this one was a request, and I was like, ooh, this is such a good topic that I know affects so many women and something that I used to struggle with.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I appreciate you guys sharing it, allows me to help more people.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: And I do put a lot of like time, effort, money into creating this kind of like free value and free resource for you.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: So, with that being said, let's go ahead and jump into jealousy, comparisonitis, and what you can do.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: So, jealousy and comparisonitis comes from low self-birth and low self-esteem.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: It honestly points to you needing to heal your relationship with yourself.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: It all comes down to self-love.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: And that is because you are having the perception of someone else having something means that you are less than in some kind of way.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: Whether it is, you know, a body they have, a relationship they have, the wealth they have, the house they have, I don't know, kids, it doesn't matter.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: It's all of these things, right?
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: We compare so many different things in life.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: And it's really just showing that you believe you are less than for either not having that yet or not having it at all, right?
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: When in fact, it just shows you that it's a desire of yours.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: So wherever you're getting jealous or you're comparing yourself to someone, it just shows that you have that desire within you, that desire to create that wealth, the desire to get married or to have kids or to, I don't know, buy that purse or go on that trip, what have that body, it doesn't, it doesn't matter, right?
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: But unfortunately, it's also a sign that your ego is overactive.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: So if you are able to look at these things and it's a desire of yours and you can see it as an expander for you, and you just look like, wow, that's so cool.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: You know, I can't wait till I get married one day, or I can't wait till like I can go on that trip, right?
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: That means your ego is not overactive.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: That means that you are coming from a healed place and you're looking as it as an expander.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: When your ego is overactive, you are going to look at these things negatively and feel worse about yourself.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: Now that is because your ego is a pesky little thing.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: Your ego is a little thing that wants to keep you safe, even though keeping you safe doesn't really serve you because it keeps you miserable, it keeps you not moving, it keeps you not having the things that you want.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: But it's formed out of safety.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: And it's basically the filters through which you see the world and the beliefs and the way you go about yourself in the world.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: And you need to break this, right?
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: Ignoring your ego is just going to make it louder.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: And although it's there to technically keep us safe and protect us, it doesn't really do that.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: All it does is keep you in that jealousy and comparisonitis cycle.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: And that's because if we believe we can't have it, then we're not going to be doing the things that perhaps will get us that health, that body, that trip, whatever that might be more risky.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: The ego wants to keep you safe.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: It is not like uncomfortable, it is not like risk.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: However, your ego is a thing that's keeping you out of alignment.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: Because normally alignment is actually the courage that is required in order to do the things that you may not normally do or that your ego would not let you do.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: Your ego, unfortunately, is running the show.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: It's making the decisions, it's holding you back, it's judging not only yourself for not having those things, but it's judging those other people for having those things.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: Now, I'm gonna give probably the advice that you're not used to hearing.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: And this might trigger you, but I encourage you, if anything I ever say, whether it's in this podcast episode or another one, I trigger you to help you heal.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: I trigger you to show you where you have wounds and where you have not been healed yet.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: It's actually to the point where like now, if I get triggered by something, it's not often, but I'm like, ooh, what do I have to heal?
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: Oh, there's something there.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: Let's let's dig that up and explore that, right?
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: So and that advice to you, you probably hear of like if someone like triggers you, unfollow them.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: I mean, you know, if you don't like if you're comparing yourself, blah blah blah, unfollow.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: Yes and no.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: And mainly no.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: Because unfollowing them, let's say it's like someone you're comparing your body to.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: Unfollowing them, unfortunately, is not gonna solve the problem.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: That's not gonna heal your relationship with your body and why you feel your body is less than than I don't know, the girl who has abs or it's a size zero, whatever it is.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: That's not gonna heal your relationship.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: All you're doing is avoiding the actual problem.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: And I guarantee you, you're gonna see someone else on your feed, on your explore page, out in the day, at the beach, like we're surrounded by things, whether it's social media, whether it's just seeing people in the grocery store, you're gonna see it again.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: And what's it gonna do?
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: It's gonna trigger you again.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: And it's not gonna keep you free.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: Avoiding your triggers does not keep you free.
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: It actually just avoids freedom for you.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: Whereas if you actually heal your triggers, then you don't get jealous anymore.
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: You don't compare, and then you're more free and you no longer like look at yourself as less than or compare, right?
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: And I know that's not gonna be the conventional thing.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: Now there's a difference between people who you're maybe comparing to or jealous of, and people who are just inauthentic and you don't resonate with.
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: Like there's a big difference.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: I just encourage you if like to look at the wounds within yourself as to why you're being triggered versus to avoid all your triggers and not do the work because the trigger is going to keep coming up until you heal, and I guarantee that, right?
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: So essentially the sign of like jealousy and comparisonitis means you have wounds around your feminine energy.
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: It tells me that you are not in your feminine, right?
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: Because when you are connected to your feminine and you're connected to that like divine life force energy that is like in your womb, it circulates and it's so magnetizing, it is so yummy and delicious that you don't give a shit if like Sally's a size two or Brittany has the purse or whatever it is, because you are so tapped into your own energy.
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: And normally there's something around your feminine energy that you're not fully connecting to because you believe your feminine is less than, whether it is a body shape, whether it's things you do or do not have, and then you end up bitter, resentful, judgmental, frustrated, angry, and you just avoid, avoid, avoid, avoid.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: And as we know, avoiding doesn't actually solve the problem.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: Now, normally a lot of the feminine energy wounds, especially when it comes to jealousy and comparisonitis, come from your mom.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: At least one of the roots is like, yes, there's society and everything else that has made like these wounds a lot worse, but it's also your wounds are formed normally really early on.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: So, like when you're in my containers, the work we do is always like first we work with early childhood because that's when a lot of these filters, that's when that ego was formed, that's when all of these beliefs kind of happened.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: And so a lot of this is tied to your mom, right?
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: Because when you are coming into the world and you are a baby, you are a little young'in, your mom is your representation of the feminine, right?
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: She is the predominant or whoever your mom figure was, if it was your, I don't know, your aunt, your grandma, it doesn't matter.
- 9:25SPEAKER_00: Um, she was the predominant figure.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: Or if there was a lack of feminine energy, if your mom maybe wasn't around, or maybe she passed on, whatever it is, then that's also going to kind of cause a wound because she wasn't there.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: So you didn't have the representation of the feminine.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: And no one's representation of the feminine was perfect or is perfect.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: Um, definitely like there's no one, I would say that like their mom didn't let you absorb some sort of limiting belief or idea or something that didn't serve you.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: So just know that.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: But because your mom is your representation of the feminine, how she believes about herself is really going to ingrain in you.
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: And whether she was jealous, whether she made comments about her body, or maybe always a yo-yo dieter, always wanted to lose weight, didn't feel good about herself, all of these things, you are going to absorb as well.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: So really looking at, you know, your mom and how you felt about maybe her growing up or how she felt about herself growing up is really going to start to create like light bulbs into your head as to why you struggle with your feminine energy so much.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: And then also add into the fact that, you know, society has like standards or whatever else that have made you believe that one thing is better than the other, or one thing is like more worthy than, or if you are this way, you know, then I'll be enough.
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: And these can also be the pressures that were put on you while you were little.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: So not only the observations you made of mom, but if mom made direct comments to you, maybe about your body or this or that, or if they put pressure on you to perform a certain way, to achieve in school or to make the soccer team, which obviously always comes from a good place.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: We're we're always saying, like, yes, parents love us, yes, parents come from a good place and they they push us because they want us to do well.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: However, they push us and push us and push us, and our feminine kind of suffers.
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: And then we grow up, we have to, we grow up believing we have to do or be a certain way in order to be worthy.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: And then we get jealous and comparisonitis because we're not at that level that we think we should be yet.
- 11:21SPEAKER_00: We don't have the marriage or the kids or the wealth or this or that, and it doesn't matter, right?
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: So, yes, they love us, they they push us for a reason, but they push us and it kind of can cause harm because I guarantee so many of us were not given love simply because we were born.
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: We were not given love simply for existing.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: We weren't like, oh my gosh, sweetie, I love you so much because you were born because you were just live.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: Like, I know I only got praise when I got an A plus, not an A, an A plus.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: I know that like I used to love to dance and I come off like from my dance rehearsal.
- 11:53SPEAKER_00: My mom was like, Why didn't you cook kick your leg as high as like you know that girl did?
- 11:57SPEAKER_00: And I was like, What?
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: But like little things like this, like your your brain absorbs, and so then, which brings you not only out of your feminine, but brings you into a state of perfectionism, right?
- 12:08SPEAKER_00: Perfectionism is sign or like is kind of one of the roots and one of the causes of like jealousy and comparisonitis, right?
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: Because you are striving for this standard and you are stuck in your masculine.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: If you are unkind of aware of feminine and masculine energies, please go back to my other podcast episodes about this because I definitely dive in so much deeper and it's going to help you a lot.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: So definitely go back and listen to those.
- 12:29SPEAKER_00: But it's very important because when you are a perfectionist, you learned and ingrained the core belief of if you are perfect, then you will be loved.
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: If I am perfect, then I will be loved.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: So you only believe you will be loved when you have that body, that wealth, that marriage, that kids that I was literally working on this with a client yesterday.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: And this was actually showing up in her business.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: And it was like indirectly, like because of her perfectionism, not being married and having kids yet, showing up in like her perfectionism in her in her work.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: It can show up in a number of different ways.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: But just know that like all of these things really show up and you may not be fully aware in your conscious mind that it's there because it's stuck in that subconscious filter that you don't even know is on your life, right?
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: So this is very important.
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: So if you have those things and you are jealous and you compare, then you're not gonna feel worthy ever.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: You really need to fix the root because ultimately the root is fear.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: The root of jealousy and comparisonitis is fear that you're not gonna be loved, fear that you won't be accepted, fear that you won't achieve those things.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: And then if I don't achieve those things, I won't be loved and accepted.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: That's truly all we want.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: At the end of the day, when we are jealous and compare, we are just craving love and like feeling love and worthy and enough.
- 13:42SPEAKER_00: And it's like, well, maybe if I get that job or that salary, you know, then mom and dad will be proud of me, or if I like have this body, well, then someone will be interested in me.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: Or, you know, the list could go on and on and all these things.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: But ultimately, the root is a fear of rejection, fear of abandonment, wanting love, and chasing that so much, right?
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: So that's why if you struggle with jealousy and comparisonitis, please either hop into goddess activation.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: That is like a self-paced program that you can do.
- 14:11SPEAKER_00: There is rewiring tracks on that.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: The first module is a little literally about worthiness.
- 14:16SPEAKER_00: There's like, I think eight videos, it breaks it down.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: So you can kind of go through them one by one while you're cooking dinner, or you can sit and eat like your lunch and watch them and then start reprogramming your brain now for worthiness.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: Um, and there's a bunch more about tapping into your intuition, becoming magnetic, receiving love.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: So many people don't receive love.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: Um, and act how to actually feel more love in your heart, which is key.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: So start there if you want like more of a self-paced program.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: And then if you really want to heal this, I would jump into glow level one because not only are we going to be healing like your health and all of that, but we're working deeply on self-love, which comes from worthiness, which also affects your, you know, bloating, your PMS, all this is all tied together.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: So that's why I've kind of combined, you know, goddess activation healing calls, well-nourished, and also we're combining money for the first time into this, into one big juicy program that's going to heal everything because so many of you guys were doing well-nourished, but then also needed like kind of more self-love support.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: So I just made it easy.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: I've put it all together for you in one program.
- 15:18SPEAKER_00: So definitely check out that below.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: Um, if it's not officially live yet, then just DM me for the link and you can still jump into the pre-sale.
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: And then after the pre-sale is over, um, we will have the link in the description box below.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: So, with that being said, that is kind of why you are jealous, why you are comparing.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: Um, and it's really important to understand these roots.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: So if you need to re listen to this episode, definitely re-listen to it because I know there was a lot of juicy information.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: And yeah, thank you guys so much for listening.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: And I will talk to you in the next episode.
