Kansas City with Jason Nivens Season 2 Episode 17 (54) Magician Dennis Burks
In today's episode Nivens follows up with Magician Dennis Burks about the brand new HARRY HOUDINI plaque on 10th & Main in downtown Kansas City. Back in 1915 Houdini performed, for the very first time, his suspended up-side-down in a straighjacket escape in front of 5,000. He was hung off the KC Post building which used to be where the marker is located today. Dennis and his fellow magicians got together to make it possible... with a slight suggestion from Nivens. PLUS Saturday, October 31st - Halloween - marks the 100th anniversary of Houdini's death.
