- 0:30Speaker 2: Let's talk about the fang stocks. So I want to
- 0:32Speaker 2: educate people on what thing actually is because they might
- 0:35Speaker 2: have heard this term and not really sure. So Fang,
- 0:39Speaker 2: FAA ng is. It used to be called Facebook, but
- 0:44Speaker 2: it's now meta, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, and Google. So big
- 0:50Speaker 2: tech when you have big tech companies, you know, the
- 0:54Speaker 2: largest tech companies and to gain the most important tech
- 0:57Speaker 2: companies in the world. They may have the acronym of thing.
- 1:01Speaker 2: And these are companies that stock had a tremendous rise
- 1:06Speaker 2: over the last decade. Not this year, but the last decade.
- 1:10Speaker 2: All these all of these companies stocks did tremendously well,
- 1:13Speaker 2: and there was you know, they did so well that
- 1:17Speaker 2: you know people really thought that those were the primary
- 1:21Speaker 2: companies that you should invest in and focus your energy
- 1:24Speaker 2: in those companies. But obviously times have changed, Meta struggling.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Apple is still doing well. Amazon is going to be
- 1:36Speaker 2: in good shape. Amazon and Google, but it hasn't done
- 1:38Speaker 2: well in the last eighteen months when you look at
- 1:40Speaker 2: his chart, and Netflix has done terrible. So you ian
- 1:46Speaker 2: have proposed a new acronym called no.
- 1:51Speaker 3: This was proposed by analysts, yeah, earlier this week.
- 1:55Speaker 4: I have a theory, though.
- 1:56Speaker 2: I thought it was you I wanted. I wanted to
- 1:58Speaker 2: give you credit.
- 1:58Speaker 3: I didn't know you know, I appreciate a lot, but
- 2:01Speaker 3: I want them to think that I'm jacking their their phrase.
- 2:06Speaker 3: The one that we have, I think it is a
- 2:08Speaker 3: lot better. But I think it's really interesting. I have
- 2:10Speaker 3: a theory though, that people have been watching the show
- 2:12Speaker 3: quietly and wait till we produce and release the show
- 2:16Speaker 3: and then talk about the things we've been talking about after.
- 2:18Speaker 3: So this list shout out to Montana looks a lot
- 2:22Speaker 3: like the stocks that we've talked about here before. So
- 2:25Speaker 3: Microsoft one of my babies. I love you, dearly, Apple,
- 2:29Speaker 3: absolutely amazing, Tesla, Alphabet or Google and Video. We'll talk
- 2:34Speaker 3: about that in few and Amazon. So is Montana the
- 2:39Speaker 3: new fing.
- 2:40Speaker 5: We're gonna call it Montana.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Shout out the French child. So let's all right, let's
- 2:46Speaker 2: go through this. Let's go through this one by one.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Microsoft amazing. Let's let's do this. Let's do this. Let's
- 2:54Speaker 2: let's talk about like, let's spend like one minute on
- 2:56Speaker 2: each company and explain why it's a good company. Watch
- 2:59Speaker 2: it back our thoughts on it. Microsoft. I know it's
- 3:01Speaker 2: something that you obviously have been bullish on for a
- 3:03Speaker 2: long period of time. Why why why are you so
- 3:06Speaker 2: bullish on Microsoft? You could you want me to go?
- 3:08Speaker 5: All right, I'll start eating and if I miss something
- 3:11Speaker 5: you can pick it up, all right? So Microsoft, it
- 3:13Speaker 5: should I don't mean when they had the fame thing,
- 3:14Speaker 5: I don't even know why if Microsoft wouldn't have been
- 3:16Speaker 5: part of it. But it's perfect that this is in
- 3:18Speaker 5: the Montana Microsoft core business business to business. They kill
- 3:23Speaker 5: cloud service, they kill gaming, they kill what else?
- 3:29Speaker 3: They have software on eighty five percent of the computers
- 3:34Speaker 3: in all of the world.
- 3:36Speaker 4: That alone is enough for me.
- 3:38Speaker 5: This four reasons why that should have I mean it
- 3:40Speaker 5: should have been on it already.
- 3:42Speaker 2: All right. So there's that for Microsoft Apple, I mean
- 3:46Speaker 2: preteen this point to thread. This company ever control Tesla.
- 3:52Speaker 2: This is something that is a very volatile situation, very
- 3:57Speaker 2: very volatile. CEO, what about Tesla?
- 4:03Speaker 4: Why?
- 4:03Speaker 2: Why is Tesla a good company to invest in? Or
- 4:07Speaker 2: is it a good company to invest in?
- 4:08Speaker 4: Definitely a good company to invest in. I like well leadership.
- 4:12Speaker 3: So for me, when evaluating what to invest in on
- 4:15Speaker 3: terms of the fundamentals, the first thing I'm looking at
- 4:17Speaker 3: as the founder, because the company is going to have
- 4:20Speaker 3: the DNA or the habits or traits of the founder
- 4:22Speaker 3: in it. Even though Elon is volatile in some areas,
- 4:26Speaker 3: you cannot deny that he is a genius for sure.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Probably a hybrid of Einstein and see Jobs rolled into one.
- 4:34Speaker 3: And he's the only person that's been able to make
- 4:39Speaker 3: electronic vehicle sexy, like we were the only black men
- 4:42Speaker 3: that made invest in sexy for our community. So when
- 4:45Speaker 3: you're able to move a market, be a visionary leader,
- 4:51Speaker 3: be a part of PayPal mafia. The secrets that he
- 4:54Speaker 3: holds are like unlike any other. And of course California,
- 4:58Speaker 3: of course declared in twenty thirty five all gas vehicles
- 5:02Speaker 3: will be banned. They will go to EV. Therefore California
- 5:05Speaker 3: will be first. I think New York will be second,
- 5:07Speaker 3: Texas will be third. Now he's looking at a thirty
- 5:10Speaker 3: or forty year window where if you think electronic vehicle,
- 5:14Speaker 3: you automatically he is the Mercedes Bands of the EV market.
- 5:18Speaker 3: You don't want a prius. I want the fantom to
- 5:22Speaker 3: look like a phantom shot to Diddy. Right, So, if
- 5:25Speaker 3: you're thinking electronic vehicle, if you're going to brand or
- 5:28Speaker 3: market share recognition, they are never one in that space
- 5:31Speaker 3: and they have no close competitors.
- 5:34Speaker 5: Amazing company. I agree with everything you just said. I
- 5:37Speaker 5: probably would put Texas number two only because they're rarely
- 5:40Speaker 5: building the facilities there. So like when you take you
- 5:43Speaker 5: take the right exactly. The largest population by state is California.
- 5:47Speaker 5: So you make a move like that in California, twenty
- 5:50Speaker 5: thirty five sounds like a long way away, but it's
- 5:52Speaker 5: not really when you talk about technology and they're prepared
- 5:56Speaker 5: for it.
- 5:56Speaker 6: Right.
- 5:56Speaker 5: If they're the leader of the space and this is
- 5:58Speaker 5: the most populated state in the country, that's that's a
- 6:03Speaker 5: big market and that will set the trend for the
- 6:05Speaker 5: rest of the state. So yeah, I think first California,
- 6:08Speaker 5: then Texas and then New York will adopted, and then
- 6:10Speaker 5: once those three states have it, forget about it.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Everyone else fall place.
- 6:13Speaker 5: Yeah. And from a technology standpoint too, what they're doing
- 6:17Speaker 5: from a solar standpoint, from the batteries being able to
- 6:20Speaker 5: lease that out, I'm sure at some point to other companies. Yeah,
- 6:24Speaker 5: Tessa's one of them. You gotta have.
- 6:25Speaker 2: It's currently at two seventy dollars.
- 6:28Speaker 5: It's split, yeah, one to three.
- 6:29Speaker 2: It's split a few weeks ago. Yeah, So long term,
- 6:34Speaker 2: Tesla is something that you believe in because they're going
- 6:38Speaker 2: to have competition. They're gonna have competition from Apple, They're
- 6:41Speaker 2: gonna have competition from a variety of different people.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Apple's gonna be the biggest competitor if they ever released
- 6:46Speaker 3: that car or that truck. That's the only one I'm
- 6:49Speaker 3: worried about. GM A Ford, I'm not worried about. There'll
- 6:51Speaker 3: be laggerts behind, but Apple is the one that they
- 6:56Speaker 3: should be most worried about.
- 6:58Speaker 5: Yeah, that makes sense, all right.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Alphabet, which, for anybody that doesn't know, Alphabet is the
- 7:05Speaker 2: parent company of Google. So Google, Google is a very
- 7:11Speaker 2: impressive company. They own the company that we're on right now,
- 7:16Speaker 2: which is YouTube very very big part of their portfolio. Yes,
- 7:23Speaker 2: you know, you have the number one and number two
- 7:25Speaker 2: search engines because Google is the number one search engine.
- 7:28Speaker 2: YouTube numbers number two search engine, so they pretty much
- 7:31Speaker 2: control the Internet.
- 7:33Speaker 3: I could argue they have the number one entertainment model
- 7:36Speaker 3: for content ever.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Created the number one entertainment model.
- 7:41Speaker 5: Yes, we as in like, puts your content on here
- 7:44Speaker 5: for free. We'll figure out what's hot.
- 7:46Speaker 4: And I'll pay you after their producers.
- 7:48Speaker 5: I'll pay you after. It's the opposite of Netflix. Yeah,
- 7:53Speaker 5: we'll pay you after this. We'll paid and we'll take
- 7:54Speaker 5: thirty percent of what we're gonna pay.
- 7:56Speaker 3: No, well, their frame it is that Well, we'll allow
- 8:01Speaker 3: us to keep thirty percent and you have seventy, which
- 8:04Speaker 3: even if you look for most entertainers, that's a pretty
- 8:07Speaker 3: good split. You've never heard any issues with YouTube keeping
- 8:12Speaker 3: their publishing forever all rights to the show or even
- 8:14Speaker 3: in some cases like with Amazon, which we'll talk about.
- 8:17Speaker 3: You don't see Google remixing shows. They didn't make their
- 8:21Speaker 3: own version of Mister Beast. They let misster Bees coexistent
- 8:24Speaker 3: just live. So also, they are a non competitors to
- 8:28Speaker 3: the creatives that are on that platform. Which is amazing.
- 8:31Speaker 3: So I think they have the best business model ever
- 8:34Speaker 3: for entertainment.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Yeah. I just realized something. And we'll talk about this
- 8:40Speaker 2: later on. But Tesla, Google and Video and Amazon and
- 8:49Speaker 2: Apple for that matter, what do they all have in common?
- 8:55Speaker 4: Just a good shirt? Question up me and go ahead,
- 9:01Speaker 4: let me phone the frame, Let me phone you. What
- 9:02Speaker 4: are it ever coming.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Within within the last I want to say eighteen, but
- 9:08Speaker 2: definitely in the last twenty four just to be safe.
- 9:10Speaker 2: But with Alston, maybe in the last eighteen they all
- 9:13Speaker 2: split their stops.
- 9:14Speaker 5: Yeahh oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 9:16Speaker 2: What is that? All right? Let's let's have this conversation
- 9:20Speaker 2: because they all split their stock. Why why is it
- 9:25Speaker 2: beneficial for a company to split their stock?
- 9:29Speaker 3: I mean, especially now if you are in a recession
- 9:31Speaker 3: or money is getting tight. So if you have a company,
- 9:34Speaker 3: let's say like Neo and the current prece in Neo
- 9:39Speaker 3: is at seventeen dollars and seventy three cent.
- 9:42Speaker 4: Even if you wanted to invest in Apple, let's say, if.
- 9:44Speaker 3: It was like five to ninety per hare, historically, you're
- 9:47Speaker 3: gonna be like, let me get the one as seventeen
- 9:49Speaker 3: and even if it goes up to twenty one I
- 9:51Speaker 3: have a chance to make it some money. So it's
- 9:53Speaker 3: very smart for companies that have major market share like
- 9:59Speaker 3: a true a loyal fan base and high volume to
- 10:01Speaker 3: split so the cost basis will be lower, so pension
- 10:04Speaker 3: funds can invest in them, hedge funds, and also retail
- 10:07Speaker 3: investors and international investors as well, because at one point
- 10:10Speaker 3: Amazon was so expensive you wouldn't even think it was
- 10:13Speaker 3: like the cost of a mortgage for one share.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Now that it's down, I think people are going to
- 10:18Speaker 4: pile into it more. Same for Apple, same for Tesla.
- 10:21Speaker 3: I think it's really smart that Elon has done three
- 10:23Speaker 3: splits in the last what two years to keep that
- 10:26Speaker 3: price down. So that's the number one competitive reason is
- 10:28Speaker 3: to make the price affordable so more people can pile
- 10:31Speaker 3: into it.
- 10:32Speaker 5: Yeah, morefordability, more profitability, more retail investors can involve. It's
- 10:38Speaker 5: the number one reason.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Right.
- 10:39Speaker 5: It looks more attractive when Amazon is one hundred and
- 10:43Speaker 5: thirty one dollars compared to thirty seven hundred dollars. Right,
- 10:46Speaker 5: even if you're buying fractional ships. Now you literally can
- 10:49Speaker 5: buy a share.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Yeah, and we've seen this for Berkshire Hathaway. If we
- 10:53Speaker 3: look at Berkshire Hathaway Class airshase plus air plus A shares.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Excuse me, it's four hundred and seventeen thousand, nine hundred
- 11:03Speaker 3: and forty dollars for one share. Berkshire Hathaway B shares
- 11:10Speaker 3: cheaper version it's two hundred and seventy seven dollars. So
- 11:13Speaker 3: we've seen this before. I think it's a great adjustment
- 11:18Speaker 3: for sure. And Apple, if people don't remember, during their
- 11:20Speaker 3: last recession, was not a fan favorite.
- 11:22Speaker 4: It was volatile like Tesla.
- 11:24Speaker 3: So to now have a leadership position, you want to
- 11:27Speaker 3: keep that base of investors and people can say that
- 11:30Speaker 3: it doesn't matter when the price is and to go
- 11:31Speaker 3: down to the company. We know people are publicly traded companies.
- 11:34Speaker 3: It does have a negative effect on the employee base
- 11:38Speaker 3: and company morale when your stock is getting beat up.
- 11:42Speaker 2: I agree. In video, let's talk about that.
- 11:47Speaker 5: Yeah, if it took a hit, it's taking a hit,
- 11:50Speaker 5: but it's still a great company. So I'm glad that
- 11:52Speaker 5: it's on the list because it's just a great company.
- 11:54Speaker 5: So I'll just give you, like the thirty second version
- 11:57Speaker 5: of it. Why in video we're talking about a company
- 12:00Speaker 5: that is ahead of the game when it comes to
- 12:02Speaker 5: AI when it comes to the metaverse, when it comes
- 12:04Speaker 5: to pretty much the future of computing. You talk about
- 12:07Speaker 5: in video what they're being able to do with the
- 12:10Speaker 5: graphic processes. I mean, they're ahead of the game. And
- 12:13Speaker 5: so obviously computing is something that's not going anywhere, and
- 12:16Speaker 5: it's only going to become more of a thing. You
- 12:19Speaker 5: have to find the company that is leading the space
- 12:22Speaker 5: in that area, and they're definitely that company, even so
- 12:26Speaker 5: much so, and maybe we'll talk about it later that
- 12:28Speaker 5: the US has decided to say, hey, we don't want
- 12:30Speaker 5: you selling any of these things to our competitors. So,
- 12:34Speaker 5: I mean that's my thirty second on the video. Love
- 12:37Speaker 5: the company. In fact, I like where it's at right now.
- 12:40Speaker 5: And I'm gonna add it this is breaking new. I'm
- 12:42Speaker 5: gonna add this is going to be another one of
- 12:44Speaker 5: my one thousand shares companies. Yeah, so I'm gonna I'm
- 12:48Speaker 5: adding this to my thousand shared companies with A M, D,
- 12:51Speaker 5: Apple and Microsoft and video is gonna be my next one.
- 12:55Speaker 4: Bam, Jamal Troy Just in case.
- 12:57Speaker 3: So I want to get some prices because I wanted
- 12:59Speaker 3: to be in a group chat, like why didn't you
- 13:01Speaker 3: say nothing low the boat price for sure will be
- 13:03Speaker 3: sixty one dollars and seventy three cent. That's like if
- 13:08Speaker 3: you have to sell the house, and that's the price
- 13:09Speaker 3: I will get in for a price that will probably
- 13:12Speaker 3: come closer in the next two months. Uh, seventy five
- 13:16Speaker 3: fifty three to in Vidia seventy five to fifty three.
- 13:19Speaker 3: That's where I will look to put some capital in.
- 13:21Speaker 3: And Video is another company I love. If you want
- 13:24Speaker 3: to make your own index, you can put in Nvidia
- 13:26Speaker 3: and AMD together. Their market cap is like three hundred
- 13:30Speaker 3: and forty billion. They have twenty one percent of market
- 13:33Speaker 3: share currently. I think that will only grow over time.
- 13:37Speaker 3: I know they're getting beat up right now, and yeah,
- 13:39Speaker 3: we'll talk about it later, but they've had a hell
- 13:40Speaker 3: of a run. If you go back and this will
- 13:42Speaker 3: I always say, and that's for the long term. In
- 13:44Speaker 3: twenty fifteen, even towards the highs, the stock was like
- 13:47Speaker 3: at ten bucks. It grew from twenty fifteen to twenty
- 13:51Speaker 3: twenty two excuse me, twenty one to three hundred and
- 13:54Speaker 3: forty six dollars. So when you look at Monster Domino's
- 13:57Speaker 3: Pizza t mobile.
- 13:59Speaker 4: We can talk out.
- 14:00Speaker 3: The real secret is the only advantage that we have
- 14:03Speaker 3: over hedge funds is that we have to hold for
- 14:05Speaker 3: a longer period of time, and if we hold the
- 14:07Speaker 3: right ones, we can have explosive growth.
- 14:10Speaker 4: I love and Video.
- 14:10Speaker 3: Even though they're having a setback with this issue with
- 14:13Speaker 3: the United States and the conflict in China, they're.
- 14:16Speaker 4: Going to be okay.
- 14:17Speaker 3: And let's be honest, every recession, if you missed it,
- 14:23Speaker 3: you always say, man, I wish I could have went
- 14:25Speaker 3: back in time and invested in Apple, Microsoft, anything right
- 14:30Speaker 3: and held it. And now we're here, back in the
- 14:33Speaker 3: middle of the storm, and everyone's like, I don't know
- 14:35Speaker 3: if I should get it this time, because this time
- 14:37Speaker 3: may be different. What are the alternatives? Usha just told you, Yes,
- 14:41Speaker 3: you can rent a house, but would it be wiser
- 14:44Speaker 3: for him to have put money into eyl University? The
- 14:48Speaker 3: development immersed the quality of the merchandise to grow, or
- 14:52Speaker 3: give your money to a bank so they can profit
- 14:54Speaker 3: off of it. Please write this down. Every dollar that
- 14:57Speaker 3: you spend is either going to make your family wealthy
- 15:00Speaker 3: and free or someone else's. There's no in between. So
- 15:06Speaker 3: even when you pay bills, like even the mission of
- 15:09Speaker 3: running errands on a Saturday was created by Edward Brenet's
- 15:14Speaker 3: is a propaganda program to get people to go out
- 15:17Speaker 3: in real time every week to buy more when they
- 15:19Speaker 3: were not at that time, to increase the.
- 15:22Speaker 4: Sales for retail stores.
- 15:25Speaker 3: So everyone running errands on Saturdays, and I'm like, the
- 15:28Speaker 3: traffic is crazy, But look at how much of a
- 15:31Speaker 3: brilliant campaign that was to get us to actually spend
- 15:33Speaker 3: our money. Because spending is actually throwing away the day
- 15:39Speaker 3: in which you can retire early and giving it to
- 15:41Speaker 3: someone else's family in advance. So I want us to
- 15:45Speaker 3: reframe and reshift the way we look at these companies.
- 15:48Speaker 3: But in this recession, a company like in video amd TSM,
- 15:52Speaker 3: which we talked about, which is going to be a
- 15:53Speaker 3: key like political chess move that we have to protect.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Be mindful of how you're spending on but appreciate the
- 16:01Speaker 3: blessing that we have to have this knowledge to have earners.

- 18:56Speaker 3: Each other to be able to bouce ideas off of
- 18:58Speaker 3: because in two thousand and eight it wasn't there, and
- 19:00Speaker 3: then to be able to get rich off invested in
- 19:02Speaker 3: some of the best companies in the world. If I've
- 19:04Speaker 3: made you money, please put yes, sure, get your tickets
- 19:07Speaker 3: to market.
- 19:07Speaker 4: Money's live in New York.
- 19:09Speaker 3: And uh, we didn't do that announcement, but maybe we'll
- 19:11Speaker 3: talk about it towards the close of the show.
- 19:13Speaker 4: Got a couple of surprises.
- 19:16Speaker 5: Few and I said computing, and I actually left out
- 19:19Speaker 5: the EV space, right, So in video is big en
- 19:22Speaker 5: that and especially when we talk about China, A lot
- 19:24Speaker 5: of EV companies that they that are there are using
- 19:27Speaker 5: in videos seven conductions to actually function, to use functions
- 19:30Speaker 5: inside of the cars. So yeah, video is one of them. Companies. Man,
- 19:34Speaker 5: put it on your list. If it's not.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Amazon, time.
- 19:39Speaker 5: You go this time?
- 19:42Speaker 4: Do you want me to go?
- 19:43Speaker 5: I already said it's still my stock of the year.
- 19:45Speaker 5: I'm standing on it. I'm standing on that Amazon. I
- 19:50Speaker 5: think it's no more when it comes to the retail
- 19:53Speaker 5: space and buying. One of my favorite tests to always
- 19:56Speaker 5: ask people okay, if you have to buy something right now,
- 19:59Speaker 5: what CO you're going to go to? So for my entrepreneurs,
- 20:02Speaker 5: we talked about media and how to grow media a
- 20:05Speaker 5: lot last week. This week, I want you to learn
- 20:08Speaker 5: how to identify a problem. So for those of you
- 20:11Speaker 5: that are a little bit older, like how we are now,
- 20:13Speaker 5: at one point, the internet was not reliable to buy
- 20:15Speaker 5: things and then going to a store is really inconvenient.
- 20:19Speaker 5: They have created a system and processes where you are
- 20:23Speaker 5: able to get your stuff so fast that even if
- 20:25Speaker 5: I'm traveling across country, I'll be like, Hey, I need
- 20:28Speaker 5: to order lights for a book.
- 20:29Speaker 3: I know I ought to be at the hotel for
- 20:31Speaker 3: me by the time I get there. The reliability of
- 20:34Speaker 3: the brand is one of the things that makes them
- 20:35Speaker 3: absolutely special. Then Amazon Web Services then on top of that,
- 20:41Speaker 3: even though they're not one of the top players in
- 20:43Speaker 3: this space, they do have a media component to their business.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Jeff Bezos is one of the greatest executives to Grace
- 20:50Speaker 3: America Soil and he's grown that brand. And here's a
- 20:54Speaker 3: good exercise. Put trust in chat. If when you from Amazon,
- 21:00Speaker 3: you trust that your package is going to get there.
- 21:04Speaker 3: I've ordered from Walmart dot Com before other places. We've
- 21:08Speaker 3: all heard the stories of wish where you think you'll
- 21:11Speaker 3: get a jersey and it looks like something that was
- 21:14Speaker 3: made off the Cosby Show, the THEO Award, right, so
- 21:18Speaker 3: the quality is there, yeah, and that's funny. And then
- 21:23Speaker 3: when when you look at historically where the price is
- 21:26Speaker 3: been for the stock, when we pull up the stock
- 21:27Speaker 3: real quick, it's only grown. And in twenty twenty, I
- 21:31Speaker 3: tried to get the lady to come on, but there's
- 21:33Speaker 3: a member where her grandmother, you know, her aunt has
- 21:35Speaker 3: been in Amazon since two thousand and three, So I'm like,
- 21:41Speaker 3: what is that growth like and what does it feel
- 21:43Speaker 3: like to hold it? And it was like the best
- 21:45Speaker 3: decisions she ever made. They've had an amazing and incredible drawnounds.
- 21:48Speaker 3: But if you go back to twenty twelve, what a
- 21:51Speaker 3: justinpha stocksills they were at eight dollars and forty nine cent.
- 21:54Speaker 3: They're at one twenty seven fifty right now? What is
- 21:58Speaker 3: the And then here's a great part about investment companies.
- 22:00Speaker 3: When you're buying these companies, you are literally paying people
- 22:04Speaker 3: to work for you and make you money.
- 22:06Speaker 4: Why you do nothing? I've said it before.
- 22:10Speaker 3: I like Michael Saylor a lot and currently he's under attack.
- 22:14Speaker 3: As I've told you he would be. Go back to
- 22:16Speaker 3: the Big Boy episode. Please watch the episode. I think
- 22:18Speaker 3: it's one of the top ten episodes we've ever done.
- 22:21Speaker 4: If he would have just.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Had vall VTI, Apple, Microsoft or an Amazon and that portfolio,
- 22:26Speaker 3: he wouldn't have the same pressure that he's currently under.
- 22:32Speaker 4: Amazon is run like a machine.
- 22:33Speaker 3: And when you look at the competitive landscape, they don't
- 22:36Speaker 3: have Target isn't better, Wish isn't better, Shift isn't better,
- 22:40Speaker 3: Walmart dot Com isn't better. Ali Baba isn't better. They
- 22:43Speaker 3: have no competitors around that makes you want to switch.
- 22:48Speaker 3: And when you're talking economic modes, trust is the biggest
- 22:52Speaker 3: one of all that you want to have. And with
- 22:55Speaker 3: the stock splitting or people looking for savings, looking for convenience,
- 23:00Speaker 3: especially if you're a parent, They're going to have another
- 23:04Speaker 3: twenty and thirty year run that I think is going
- 23:05Speaker 3: to be unprecedented. And they're moving heavier into the medical
- 23:08Speaker 3: space as well, which would give them a huge leg
- 23:10Speaker 3: up over most of their competitors.
- 23:12Speaker 5: I thought she was gonna leave up the medical I'm
- 23:13Speaker 5: glad you brought that up. I'm going to touch on
- 23:15Speaker 5: the media really quickly because it's a big space that
- 23:19Speaker 5: they haven't kind of conquered yet. But they're in there. Right.
- 23:21Speaker 5: So when we talk about media, obviously they have their
- 23:24Speaker 5: own shows, they've got live sports, they did the deal
- 23:27Speaker 5: with the Major League Baseball. But they're coming into this
- 23:31Speaker 5: this this area that we know a little bit about
- 23:34Speaker 5: that and that is in podcasting. So they've seen it, right,
- 23:37Speaker 5: They've mastered the audio book with audible, right, and so
- 23:41Speaker 5: now how do we master the next genre of that
- 23:43Speaker 5: audiobook and that would be podcasting. So they're stepping into
- 23:46Speaker 5: that space. And over the last week, man, they did
- 23:49Speaker 5: something very incredible that no one paid attention to. They
- 23:51Speaker 5: put out that Lord of the Ring show. It did
- 23:54Speaker 5: twenty five million, twenty five million views, right, So like
- 23:58Speaker 5: in contrast, right, what is the pay I got to
- 24:01Speaker 5: see the numbers on what they paid for. HBO Max
- 24:03Speaker 5: put out Game of Thrones, right, the new one, right
- 24:06Speaker 5: the Dragons, Oucer Dragons. It debuted that with ten million
- 24:10Speaker 5: of view ten million viewers. And then I think the
- 24:12Speaker 5: second one last Sunday, did like ten point two, which
- 24:16Speaker 5: is great. You're talking about twenty five million people watch
- 24:20Speaker 5: that Lord of the Rings. That that new show on Amazon.
- 24:23Speaker 5: So when you're talking about now streaming like this is Jesus,
- 24:25Speaker 5: they really like they can really step into a space
- 24:29Speaker 5: because everybody that has Amazon Prime has Amazon as a
- 24:34Speaker 5: streaming service as well, So you're already hooked in because
- 24:36Speaker 5: most people who sign up for it are going to
- 24:38Speaker 5: do Prime and get the two day ship in, but
- 24:40Speaker 5: you also get the media service with it.
- 24:41Speaker 3: So a couple of poison yeah, and a great part
- 24:46Speaker 3: on the media side, the big lesson I want everyone
- 24:49Speaker 3: to take away and I probably shouldn't even say this,
- 24:50Speaker 3: but your in goal for your brand shit to end
- 24:53Speaker 3: up being a conglomerate.
- 24:55Speaker 5: Oh yo, your camera's flilling. It just went, yeah, it's stopped.
- 25:01Speaker 5: Now you good?
- 25:03Speaker 3: So I can't talk with my hands listen like Lord
- 25:06Speaker 3: of the Rings. I No, that's a lot to spend
- 25:10Speaker 3: on the show. A can we can we get a
- 25:12Speaker 3: period piece show that we need to do because that's
- 25:14Speaker 3: a lot of vidership shout out to a bed. He
- 25:15Speaker 3: was walking me through TV numbers. To have twenty three
- 25:18Speaker 3: million people watching one thing is absolutely amazing. But if
- 25:23Speaker 3: you look, even though they have not dominated media yet,
- 25:26Speaker 3: look how long it took Apple TV to get good.
- 25:28Speaker 3: Like when I first got the Apple TV box, it
- 25:31Speaker 3: wasn't much on their it was clunky, but over time.
- 25:36Speaker 4: They developed it.
- 25:37Speaker 3: When an oscar now whenever they developed a version of
- 25:40Speaker 3: Breaking Bad or House of Cards or The Walking Dead,
- 25:43Speaker 3: and they have millions of people tuned in great. Same
- 25:46Speaker 3: with Amazon. They're moving into the podcast space. I know
- 25:49Speaker 3: Charlemagne and Kevin Hard are doing something with them. So
- 25:51Speaker 3: they getting hired listenership when they have a hit TV show.
- 25:54Speaker 3: And we've been talking about the super Bowl and I
- 25:56Speaker 3: know some people were like, hey, I started in the
- 25:58Speaker 3: comments the NFL will never give up the rights for
- 26:03Speaker 3: the super Bowl to a streaming service.
- 26:05Speaker 4: I'm like, what if they are from twenty two billion dollars?
- 26:08Speaker 5: Can you watch the super Bowl on YouTube TV? Yeah?
- 26:11Speaker 5: I think so, yeah, So, I mean it's part it's
- 26:13Speaker 5: they have like streaming rights like so YouTube TV if
- 26:16Speaker 5: you if you pay, I think like the seventy the
- 26:18Speaker 5: forty nine dollars, seventy nine dollars memanship, you can you
- 26:21Speaker 5: can watch the super Bowl.
- 26:22Speaker 3: And look at the share of all online sales and
- 26:27Speaker 3: twenty twenty one was fifty six point seven percent of
- 26:31Speaker 3: all sales just Amazon.
- 26:33Speaker 5: That's crazy.
- 26:35Speaker 4: Like shoddy Troy Mike, what.
- 26:38Speaker 3: We need to do to get fifty percent, fifty six
- 26:41Speaker 3: percent of listenership just to be for us a business,
- 26:44Speaker 3: like when you have that much market share, like when
- 26:47Speaker 3: people think to buy something, they're literally thinking your company.
- 26:51Speaker 4: I never hear anybody say, hey, I need to go to.
- 26:56Speaker 3: And let's be honest, even in two thousand and seven,
- 26:57Speaker 3: in two thousand and eight, going to see your or
- 27:00Speaker 3: even in some cases home deeparts to be. Yesterday he
- 27:04Speaker 3: was doing appliing shopping shout out to all the good
- 27:08Speaker 3: man that you know, got to go applying shopping with.
- 27:09Speaker 4: With wives and stuff like that. I'm not there yet,
- 27:13Speaker 4: but those experiences are not nice.
- 27:15Speaker 3: And back in the day when I would watch a
- 27:17Speaker 3: Blockbuster or go to Blockbuster get candy, you can literally
- 27:20Speaker 3: watch a movie on Amazon or the Popcorn the day before,
- 27:23Speaker 3: have it or maybe even have it there the same day,
- 27:26Speaker 3: have fun, watch the same amount of shows and waste
- 27:28Speaker 3: less time. And they are responsible for fifty six point
- 27:34Speaker 3: seven percent of all sales online.
- 27:37Speaker 4: That is a legal cartel.
- 27:40Speaker 5: And we spoke about the infrastructure. We spoke about infrastructure
- 27:43Speaker 5: in terms of like, hey, they're quietly building like every
- 27:46Speaker 5: four years, they just quietly build more factories. Right, so
- 27:49Speaker 5: now it's not two day shipping. Now, it's same day shipping.
- 27:52Speaker 5: Now it's you know, the next thing is like, hey,
- 27:54Speaker 5: your medication will be there in four hours. So like
- 27:56Speaker 5: they're quietly doing these things. Yeah, and they're just building
- 27:59Speaker 5: and building infrastry.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Man and then wait till they start delivering you know,
- 28:02Speaker 3: house calls and doctor visits to your house and they
- 28:05Speaker 3: help America get healthier.
- 28:07Speaker 4: That's going to be something.
- 28:08Speaker 3: And also then if they have Whole food so now
- 28:11Speaker 3: they can tell you, hey, you want to this doctor.
- 28:14Speaker 3: I know the data is supposed to be separated, but
- 28:16Speaker 3: we want America to be healthier because one of the
- 28:18Speaker 3: biggest expenses that we have is healthcare. If I was
- 28:21Speaker 3: at Amazon, I would position it, Okay, eat healthier. Here's
- 28:24Speaker 3: a plant based lifestyle that everyone can agree agree upon.
- 28:28Speaker 3: We need to redo the food pyramid because it's not
- 28:29Speaker 3: actually what we are supposed to be eating.
- 28:31Speaker 4: There's a lot of lobbying that went into that.
- 28:33Speaker 3: So now you can get your food from Whole Foods,
- 28:35Speaker 3: the vitamins from Amazon, exercise programs on Amazon, what you
- 28:41Speaker 3: listen to make your life better, and all the health
- 28:44Speaker 3: and wellness folks. Just in that healthcare space, they'll be
- 28:47Speaker 3: able to dominate, but to have the trust that they do.
- 28:51Speaker 4: And then Amazon Web Services on top of it, it's
- 28:54Speaker 4: hard to argue why.
- 28:58Speaker 5: Like the revenue business, it's on pace to rival Alphabet
- 29:05Speaker 5: if not past it over the next two years.
- 29:07Speaker 4: Those are the one of two.
- 29:09Speaker 3: Those are like the Drake and j Cole right now Amazon,
- 29:11Speaker 3: So I would say Amazon is well. Google is Drake
- 29:14Speaker 3: and Amazon is Jacole right now. Both are great to
- 29:17Speaker 3: have it. If I'm loosen, I want both. I want
- 29:20Speaker 3: everyone to stop competing about which one is better. It's
- 29:23Speaker 3: not about which one is better if it's about which
- 29:25Speaker 3: one you should have in your portfolio, and the answer
- 29:28Speaker 3: is usually both. Same with real estate, you need business
- 29:30Speaker 3: media real estate you need long term investing. You need
- 29:34Speaker 3: short term investing because now in a recession, you need
- 29:37Speaker 3: as many revenue streams as possible. I remember when I
- 29:40Speaker 3: said maybe two years ago, you need twenty eight streams
- 29:42Speaker 3: of revenue and everyone's like, hey, you're crazy. And now
- 29:44Speaker 3: I'm seeing more entrepreneurs be like, man, I'm up to
- 29:47Speaker 3: twenty Thank you for telling me, because when this recession hits,
- 29:51Speaker 3: if you didn't have twelve or thirteen, you're in a
- 29:53Speaker 3: lot of trouble. So I think Amazon's one of the
- 29:56Speaker 3: greatest companies ever created. And also historically the retail s
- 30:00Speaker 3: has been a horrible experience and horrible to invest in.
- 30:04Speaker 4: They've done an amazing job.
- 30:06Speaker 5: Shout the cold he's going to cover two K. Really? Yeah,
- 30:11Speaker 5: you got the cover to k the Dreamers edition, shout
- 30:14Speaker 5: the Dreamer Wow. So all right, So that's that we
- 30:17Speaker 5: got them all. Montana, So which one is better?
- 30:20Speaker 2: And put it in chat? Do you think Fang is better? Things? Lineup?
- 30:25Speaker 2: Is Meta? Amazon, Apple? Netflix? In Google? Or do you
- 30:30Speaker 2: think montanas is better with Microsoft, Apple, Tesla, Googlen Video
- 30:37Speaker 2: and Amazon? Put it put in chat? Put in chat?
- 30:42Speaker 2: Which one you think is better? Fang or maintaina.
- 30:47Speaker 5: Yeah, so Montana, they gotta They obviously remove Netflix.
- 30:52Speaker 2: The big the biggest ones are the Fang has uh
- 30:56Speaker 2: Meta and they have Netflix, and those are the two Vegas.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Mantaina has Microsoft, Tesla and the video because Google, Amazon
- 31:07Speaker 2: and Apple and both yep. So it really comes down
- 31:10Speaker 2: to Micro, Microsoft, Tesla and in Vidio Video versus Meta
- 31:18Speaker 2: and Netflix. Who wins?
- 31:22Speaker 4: Who? Okay, okay, hold up, we're match. What's the line
- 31:25Speaker 4: up again?
- 31:25Speaker 3: Because I'm gonna do my uh Stan van Gundy after this,
- 31:29Speaker 3: all right.
- 31:30Speaker 5: So yeah, so you're gonna you're gonn You're gonna do
- 31:32Speaker 5: your Mark Jackson.
- 31:32Speaker 2: To make it as easy as possible, let's just do
- 31:34Speaker 2: a three on two because the other the other ones
- 31:36Speaker 2: already in it. So Microsoft, Tesla and in Video versus
- 31:44Speaker 2: Meta and uh Netflix.
- 31:49Speaker 3: Okay, Microsoft would be lebron second year with the heat,
- 31:54Speaker 3: Tesla would be Janni's and Video would be Luca.
- 32:00Speaker 5: I'll say job, Okay, I'm good with that. Okay, Okay, Meta.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Anthony Davis when he's hurt, shout a ad. I want
- 32:12Speaker 3: a problem about in Chicago right?
- 32:15Speaker 4: Uh?
- 32:16Speaker 3: Netflix is John Wall. I love you, John, I want
- 32:20Speaker 3: a problems. I want them smoke. I love you and
- 32:21Speaker 3: your family, so about everybody in each town, everybody in DC.
- 32:25Speaker 3: Let me alone, John, I love you, but used to
- 32:28Speaker 3: be incredible, but now they're on the down cycle of
- 32:32Speaker 3: their career. John Sally, please provide me some protection from
- 32:35Speaker 3: John Wall, please, Charles Barkley, So, yes.
- 32:41Speaker 2: There you have it. That sounds like a blowout victory
- 32:44Speaker 2: to me.
- 32:44Speaker 5: Yeah, I guess I know what's going And listen to.
- 32:48Speaker 3: Tattoo index no stress, like I keep saying, like investment
- 32:51Speaker 3: is not hard, and I was having this conversation with Pierre,
- 32:56Speaker 3: like nothing in life is really complicated. We assume is
- 33:00Speaker 3: make it complicated because we want to stop the process
- 33:05Speaker 3: of walking into greatness. This will I always say everything
- 33:08Speaker 3: about the merchandise you guys create for the fashion line.
- 33:12Speaker 3: You could have had ninety four more sayings. It's smart
- 33:16Speaker 3: to just stick with one that works. Too many exkus,
- 33:19Speaker 3: too many problems. Please put that in check. Vo Vti Apple,
- 33:24Speaker 3: Microsoft amazing on the crypto side, Bitcoin, Ata Ethereum. Pick
- 33:32Speaker 3: a dark horse and you're good. The most important thing
- 33:34Speaker 3: is to reinvest. Like imagine if Earn your leser changed
- 33:38Speaker 3: the company name every week in Redpan to change the
- 33:40Speaker 3: name every week, you wouldn't be able.
- 33:42Speaker 4: To trust it.
- 33:43Speaker 3: So a lot of times when you're trying to find more,
- 33:47Speaker 3: more advice, more insight, a different portfolio, because let's be honest,
- 33:51Speaker 3: if you invest in the vo o Vti Apple, Microsoft
- 33:54Speaker 3: as scary as it was. If you invested in the Apple,
- 33:56Speaker 3: Apple is close to getting back to it's all time
- 33:59Speaker 3: Highcrosoft is setting the world on fire, and we brought
- 34:04Speaker 3: you this strategy and mentioned Microsoft Tesla and Video AMD
- 34:09Speaker 3: way before these other analysts.
- 34:10Speaker 2: Did my graduates from my school being forced back drop bags,
- 34:17Speaker 2: drop Mike, drop back, drop.
- 34:21Speaker 6: Drop, Coach, the energy out there felt different. What changed
- 34:34Speaker 6: for the team today?
- 34:35Speaker 3: It was the new game day scratches from the California
- 34:37Speaker 3: Lottery players.
- 34:38Speaker 5: Everything.
- 34:39Speaker 4: Those games sent the team's energy through the roof.
- 34:41Speaker 6: Are you saying it was the off field play that
- 34:43Speaker 6: made the difference on the field.
- 34:44Speaker 4: Hey, little play makes your day, and today it made
- 34:47Speaker 4: the game. That's all for now, Coach.
- 34:49Speaker 3: One more question.
- 34:50Speaker 8: Played the new Los Angeles Chargers, San Francisco forty nine
- 34:53Speaker 8: Ers and Los Angeles Rams scratchers from the California Lottery.
- 34:56Speaker 8: A little play can make your day.
- 34:58Speaker 3: Peace.
- 34:59Speaker 8: Responsible to be eighteen years or older to purchase plate
- 35:01Speaker 8: or claim
