- 0:44Speaker 3: know that it's National kool Aid Day? Oh? National kool
- 0:48Speaker 3: Aid Day? What I didn't know? I checked this out
- 0:50Speaker 3: because I was wondering how many flavors there are now?
- 0:53Speaker 3: Because I was a kid, I basically remember red kool aid.
- 0:56Speaker 3: And that's all we really got an option for is red.
- 0:59Speaker 3: There are currently ninety one current flavors of kool Aid. Dang, Okay,
- 1:04Speaker 3: this is so random, but our producer Nick, his son's
- 1:08Speaker 3: birthday party is coming up and he's literally like doing
- 1:10Speaker 3: a kool Aid birthday party.
- 1:12Speaker 4: I think that is so cool.
- 1:14Speaker 3: I love that. That's so fun. Would you tell all
- 1:16Speaker 3: of the juices? Could you tell the flavors? If we
- 1:18Speaker 3: brought in a few flavors? So you think you guys
- 1:20Speaker 3: could could identify? Really? I mean it's just pure sugar
- 1:23Speaker 3: and flavor. I bet you we could ninety one flavors.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Do you think you could pull them out? I mean
- 1:27Speaker 3: ninety one?
- 1:28Speaker 4: No, that's a lot. Well. Also, it's kind of every
- 1:31Speaker 4: day this week's but national move in Day with all
- 1:35Speaker 4: the universities. You know, you had people moving into Arizona
- 1:37Speaker 4: State University of Arizona GCU NAU. It's National move in
- 1:43Speaker 4: Day every day this week, Sally, you got to move
- 1:45Speaker 4: in story?
- 1:46Speaker 2: Hey, yeah, this is a story about my freshman moving day,
- 1:51Speaker 2: which was going really well until my dad. I mean,
- 1:55Speaker 2: you know how doubts are, right, Like, he decided he
- 1:58Speaker 2: could do something by himself. He was carrying my whole
- 2:02Speaker 2: entire mattress up the stairs by himself, and plenty of
- 2:06Speaker 2: people offered to help him. My brother offered to help him.
- 2:09Speaker 2: I offered to help him. No, he was gonna do
- 2:11Speaker 2: by himself. So he's dragging it up the stairs. Halfway up,
- 2:16Speaker 2: he gets stuck on a landing because the prize people
- 2:19Speaker 2: need to use the stairs and someone was coming down,
- 2:22Speaker 2: so he turns sideways. He tries to turn like himself
- 2:26Speaker 2: in the mattress sideways. The mattress knocks over a plant
- 2:30Speaker 2: that was on a window ledge like in the landing.
- 2:34Speaker 2: The plant somehow flies hits a fire alarm, and then
- 2:42Speaker 2: the fire alarm starts ringing. The entire dorm is evacuating.
- 2:47Speaker 2: I'm not even fully moved in yet, and apparently I'm
- 2:49Speaker 2: already causing problems with my family in this place. My
- 2:53Speaker 2: dad is just standing there holding the mattress the entire
- 2:56Speaker 2: time while everybody is getting out of there. The Dean
- 2:59Speaker 2: shows up and my dad has to explain what happened,
- 3:03Speaker 2: that it was just my mattress that his dumb ass
- 3:08Speaker 2: was trying to drag up all by himself, and not
- 3:11Speaker 2: an actual emergency. And I feel like this was partly
- 3:15Speaker 2: not our fault because they put me on the seventh floor.
- 3:19Speaker 2: But yeah, that's that's my dad trying to be.
- 3:21Speaker 3: A hero and end up being seventh floor.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Man.
- 3:24Speaker 3: That's a long hike, my kid, Anddrick is just telling
- 3:27Speaker 3: me that she got to move down from the eleventh
- 3:28Speaker 3: floor to the fourth floor, and it's like a giant
- 3:31Speaker 3: luxury because the elevators never work. You always doing the stairs.
- 3:35Speaker 3: So at her school, if you get moved down to one, two, three, four,
- 3:39Speaker 3: you're balling. You're balling if you're on the first, three
- 3:41Speaker 3: or fourth floors. So I get that too.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Oh yeah, like exactly the opposite of real life, right,
- 3:46Speaker 2: Like you want to be up in the penthouse. Nope, No,
- 3:49Speaker 2: when you're in a dorm, it's like that's where you
- 3:51Speaker 2: don't even know what goes on up there. It's like
- 3:53Speaker 2: up in the raptors.
- 3:54Speaker 3: It's the difference like society, especially, like my Cadadre is saying,
- 3:58Speaker 3: laundry's in the basement anyway, So if you got to
- 4:01Speaker 3: go up all those flights with laundry, terrible.
- 4:03Speaker 4: I posted a picture on my Instagram from last year
- 4:05Speaker 4: move in day at the University of Arizona with my
- 4:07Speaker 4: son Dutch, and I was putting together a desk for
- 4:10Speaker 4: him that my wife got a target and there were
- 4:12Speaker 4: so many extra pieces that we undid it and put
- 4:15Speaker 4: it back in the box and dropped it back off
- 4:16Speaker 4: the target. I'm like, forget it.
- 4:18Speaker 2: I'm not doing it.
- 4:19Speaker 4: And what's funny is tomorrow is moving day for my
- 4:21Speaker 4: son Dutch, and guess what, Rich and I are going
- 4:24Speaker 4: to be in Reading and Chico with an appearance, hanging
- 4:27Speaker 4: out there for a couple hours, and I won't be there.
- 4:29Speaker 4: So this is the first move in day for any
- 4:32Speaker 4: of my kids that I won't be a part of.
- 4:33Speaker 4: They're probably gonna get everything done really fast as quick
- 4:35Speaker 4: without me being there. I relate to your dad, Sally.
- 4:39Speaker 4: I relate to your dad.
- 4:41Speaker 2: And my experience. I think maybe it's best if Debt
- 4:43Speaker 2: aren't in falls and say hi and say Warriot is
- 4:49Speaker 2: such a good job putting this place.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Together, Sweeny, that's right. I just funded the task. Rabit.
- 4:53Speaker 4: We come home. We come home tomorrow night, Rich and
- 4:57Speaker 4: I and by then my family would be all moved in.
- 4:59Speaker 4: They moved in my son's dorm, and I'll be like, great,
- 5:01Speaker 4: what a great moving day. That's great.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I think that's best.
- 5:04Speaker 2: I think that's best for everyone.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Sally, have a great day. Thanks for calling in sharing
- 5:08Speaker 4: that story with us. Thank you, Hey, Joanna, you got
- 5:10Speaker 4: a revenge call a Rench story. Yes, what happened?
- 5:14Speaker 1: I just donated an old car that my ex husband
- 5:17Speaker 1: used to drive after I got a new car with
- 5:19Speaker 1: his rents on it and four one hundred dollars to
- 5:22Speaker 1: like one of those junk card places that came and
- 5:24Speaker 1: picked it up.
- 5:25Speaker 3: So the rims were probably worth more than that.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Right, yeah, yeah, we were.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Your revenge is you donated your ex's car? H And
- 5:35Speaker 4: what kind of car was it?
- 5:36Speaker 1: It was a ninety six fourth under birth.
- 5:39Speaker 3: Oh man, those are cool looking.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, I really liked it. And then he
- 5:43Speaker 1: started driving it when I got pregnant because I got
- 5:46Speaker 1: a four door and he kept the two door, and
- 5:47Speaker 1: then he put rams on it. And when we got
- 5:50Speaker 1: into an argument, I was like, nope, we separated and
- 5:52Speaker 1: I sold it.
- 5:54Speaker 4: For how much?
- 5:55Speaker 1: One hundred dollars?
- 5:56Speaker 4: One hundred dollars? And does he know that now? Did
- 5:58Speaker 4: you tell him?
- 5:59Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 5:59Speaker 1: He knew.
- 6:00Speaker 2: He knew.
- 6:00Speaker 1: He was upset because he didn't get to get the
- 6:02Speaker 1: rims off in time.
- 6:03Speaker 4: Wow, all right, that's good revenge. Joy, thanks for calling in.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you,
