So embarrassing. Lucas: No worries. That's exactly why we review. So let's start. Cabbage in Amharic is ጎመን. Luna: ጎመን. Cabbage. Got it. Lucas: And garlic is ነጭ ሽንኩርት. Literally 'white onion'. Luna: Oh that makes sense. So it's not just one word. ነጭ ሽንኩርት. Lucas: Exactly. Now let's put them in sentences. If you want cabbage, you say ጎመን እፈልጋለሁ. Luna: ጎመን እፈልጋለሁ. I want cabbage. Lucas: Perfect. And if you need garlic, you say ነጭ ሽንኩርት ያስፈልገኛል. Luna: That's a bit longer. ነጭ ሽንኩርት ያስፈልገኛል. I need garlic. Lucas: You're doing great. And if you want both, you can say ጎመን እና ነጭ ሽንኩርት. Cabbage and garlic. Luna: ጎመን እና ነጭ ሽንኩርት. That rolls off the tongue. Lucas: It does. Now let's imagine you're at the market. I'm the seller. You say, ጎመን እፈልጋለሁ. Luna: ጎመን እፈልጋለሁ. Lucas: And I say, እነሆ ጎመን. Here is cabbage. Then you say, እና ነጭ ሽንኩርት ያስፈልገኛል. And I need garlic. Luna: እና ነጭ ሽንኩርት ያስፈልገኛል. Nice, I can do that.
