Was Jesus Really Tempted?

Good Call with Andrew Farley · Nov 13, 2025 · 6m

The book of James tells us that God is not tempted by sin. However, Hebrews says that Jesus was tempted in every way.

At first glance, this may seem like a real contradiction, so Chris from Akron, Ohio called in to ask about it.

In this episode, I address Chris’s concern and discuss the temptations that Jesus faced.

I hope this is an encouraging reminder that we have a Savior who empathizes with our weaknesses.
