- 1:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'm your host, Tecla.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_00]: This is Heal Yourself with the Law of Attraction.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_00]: And today I'm excited to share I have rekindled my passion for Romanticie and I'm making my way through a new book series.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_00]: Look, my love started with fourth wing.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_00]: That was my entry into this entire genre.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: And since that series, I haven't loved a story or a character more than Zaden.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_00]: I have read the entire Akatar series, and I didn't like it as much, I know that's controversial to say.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_00]: I know I get it, but I'm not going to lie to you.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_00]: I have also read the gods and monster series, and that was good, but it didn't blow me away.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_00]: Now I midway threw the throne of gloss series, and I'm really starting to get into it way more, but it did take four books for me to get caught up in it.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just finished era of fire, and I'm starting Queen of Shadows now.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're a Romanticie girlie and you have recommendations for me, please send them to me.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_00]: I have heard that the plated prisoner series is a good one, so I'm leaning that direction next.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_00]: but I want all of your thoughts and ideas about what you think I should read, okay?
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: So DM me on Instagram at manifesting MindsetCo.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'll be so happy to see those come through.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'm really excited for this, okay?
- 2:28[SPEAKER_00]: Let's get into today's episode, which was inspired by one of my clients who I just wrapped up working with after over four months together.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: When she first came to me, she was caring so many limiting beliefs about her health and her life.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_00]: She described it like this.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_00]: I struggled to receive support, had deep limiting beliefs, felt disconnected from my emotions, usually ignoring or burying them, always needed to be in control, and never felt I could fully express myself.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_00]: And honestly, that's where so many women start and where they are right now.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_00]: So today I want to talk about the kinds of beliefs that keep you stuck in cycles of illness and feeling that deep desire and need to control everything all of the time.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_00]: Because these beliefs and this need for control are fear driven responses and I say these in every single woman I work with.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: So I pulled together a few of the most common limiting beliefs in high-cheap in women who've been dealing with chronic illness, and I wanted to dismantle them all with you today right now.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_00]: Let's start with number one.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_00]: Chronic illness is just my life now, and I have to manage it.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_00]: This one sounds practical, even mature, and you've likely heard it before from the doctors and the specialists who think they're helping you come to terms with reality.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_00]: But what it really does is completely strip you of any hope.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_00]: It's what a lot of women end up telling themselves when they've been sick for a long time and feel like acceptance is the only option left.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: But what I see underneath is something else entirely.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's not true acceptance.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's settling.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_00]: Not because you want to, but because deep down you started to believe that this is the best it's ever going to get.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: And when that belief takes root, it changes everything.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: You stop looking for what your body is actually trying to say.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_00]: You stop questioning the emotional patterns that might be keeping symptoms alive.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_00]: You start organizing your whole life around the illness instead of healing.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: Not because you're weak, but because you're fucking tired, because nothing else has worked, because part of you is scared to hope again.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_00]: But here's how we start to break this belief down.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_00]: Just because you've been unwell for a long time, doesn't mean this is your forever.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: And just because doctors say something's chronic, doesn't mean you can't change your internal and external reality.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_00]: I know because that's what they told me, not just once, but twice, and they were wrong.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: Your body isn't asking you to manage symptoms forever.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's asking you to listen.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_00]: And the moment you shift from, I guess this is just who I am now to, what is this here to show me, things start to change?
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: You don't need to deny your cart reality to make space for something more.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: You can accept where you are for now without building a life around the assumption that it's permanent.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_00]: Healing doesn't start when you fight against your symptoms.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: It starts when you stop believing they define you.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: A key part of dismantling this belief is finding evidence, okay?
- 5:47[SPEAKER_00]: There's so many stories like mine of women who do heal.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: I'm 1,000% sure that there is someone out there who has your same diagnosis and has healed.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_00]: So the question then becomes, why isn't that possible for you too?
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think some people get really wrapped up in this notion that they're different.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: Their circumstances, their illness, their symptoms, and I'm going to be so blunt here.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: When it comes to your health, you're not that unique, okay?
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: There are so many women around the world that are dealing with what you're dealing with right now.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: That should fuel you if they can do it, if someone, just one person can do it, you can too.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: That person did the hard work, right, because maybe they didn't have anyone before them to show them it's possible.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_00]: But you do, so go and find them.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_00]: That's what you should be looking for on social media and online.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: These success stories to help motivate and inspire you.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: The more evidence you have of your wins and somebody else's wins in the same area, the faster that belief crumbles.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_00]: Let's move on to limiting belief number two.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_00]: I've done everything right and I'm still not better.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: This one hits hard, especially for the high-achieving women who have always been praised for getting things right.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: You followed the protocols, took the supplements, you cut the refined sugar and ditched the gluten, you got all the testing, you did the journaling, the meditating, you stayed positive.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_00]: And when none of it worked the way it was supposed to, it wasn't just frustrating, it felt personal, like what else we have to freaking do.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_00]: But let's actually break this down.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_00]: First of all, this everything right, notion.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_00]: Who made that up, according to who, who decided that checklist?
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: And why do you believe your body is supposed to respond on command?
- 7:50[SPEAKER_00]: Just because you're doing all these right things.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: Here's what I've seen over and over again.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: Doing everything right is often just another form of control.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: It's a way to avoid the deeper work, the scary work, the emotional stuff that feels messier, more vulnerable and less guaranteed.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm going to be really honest here.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_00]: Most women I work with are still trying to earn their healing.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's a reward or guaranteed outcome for being a good little patient for suffering long enough for taking every box and doing it all perfectly.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_00]: But healing isn't a reward.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_00]: And it's not something you get because you've suffered.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's something that happens when your body finally feels safe and up to let go and repair.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're doing everything right and you're still not better, I don't want you to try harder.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_00]: I want you to stop and ask yourself, what energy am I doing this all from?
- 8:53[SPEAKER_00]: Fear, pressure, control, or trust, curiosity and actual connection with my body.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_00]: Because the energy behind your efforts matters more than the efforts themselves.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: And sometimes the most healing thing you can do is stop trying so hard and actually feel what's underneath all that trying.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: Your body doesn't want perfection.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_00]: It wants presence and honesty and it wants you to stop performing and start partnering.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: This belief I've done everything right and I'm still not better, doesn't just create frustration.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_00]: It creates shame.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: because it makes you think you're the problem.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: You're starting to wonder if you're broken, if you're the exception, if you're just too far gone or too sensitive or too damaged for healing to ever work on you, but that's not the truth.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_00]: That's a deeper pattern where I love rest and safety where things you've had to earn.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_00]: And I really want you to sit with this.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: What if your healing isn't stuck because you haven't done enough?
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's stuck because you're still operating from the part of you that believes you're not enough.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: That's a big one to drop on you, okay?
- 10:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna move on to number three.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: I can't trust my body because it's broken.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_00]: This belief doesn't just keep you stuck.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: It puts you in a constant state of hyper vigilance.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_00]: Always scanning, always bracing, always waiting for the next symptom, the next flare-up, the next thing to go wrong.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_00]: It makes your own body feel like unsafe territory, like you're walking through a house that my collapse at any moment.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: And here's the cruel part.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: When you believe your body is broken, you stop listening.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: Not because you don't care, but because it feels safer to disconnect than to stay present with something you don't trust.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_00]: That disconnection creates chaos.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_00]: You second guess what to eat.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: You panic when something fills off.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_00]: You don't know what's real and what's imagined, because your baseline belief is that your body is the problem.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_00]: But this is what I want you to hear.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_00]: Your body has always been on your side.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: Even when it didn't feel like it, even when it was screaming, even when it shut down.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: The truth is it had to adapt to what you were carrying, emotionally, physically, energetically.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_00]: It didn't betray you.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: It compensated for you.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_00]: And you just haven't known how to read those signs.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_00]: and calling that compensation broken, completely dismisses the intelligence behind what your body did to protect you.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: So if you wanna rebuild trust, you can't start from fear.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_00]: You have to start from respect.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying everything your body's doing right now feels good, but what if it's not random?
- 11:56[SPEAKER_00]: What if it's precise?
- 11:58[SPEAKER_00]: What if it's not broken just overwhelmed, overburdened, and tired of not being heard?
- 12:04[SPEAKER_00]: And one more thing, this belief will convince you that healing is a punishment.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: They have to fix yourself before you can live again.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: That until your body's perfect, you're not safe.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_00]: That's a lie.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_00]: Healing doesn't come after trust.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: Trust is what creates the conditions for healing.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_00]: So start here.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_00]: What would change if I assumed from now on that my body is on my team?
- 12:32[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying you jump right to my body is perfect, but that it's just worthy of trust.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_00]: One decision and one moment at a time.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_00]: Now let's move on to limiting belief number four.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_00]: If I slow down or rest, everything will fall apart and I'll never heal.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_00]: This one lives deep in your body, not your mind.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's that twitchy restlessness that shows up the moment you stop doing.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_00]: The guilt that creeps in when you lie down, that need to stay productive even in your healing.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_00]: And let's be real.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: You've probably been praised your whole life for being the one who keeps it all together.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_00]: You learned early on that movement equals safety that slowing down means you're failing and falling behind.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_00]: That stillness isn't safe, it's dangerous.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_00]: So of course this belief feels real.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_00]: Your body doesn't interpret rest as peace.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_00]: It interprets it as a threat.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_00]: Because for years, survival meant keeping busy.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_00]: If you stopped, you had to feel.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_00]: But here's the thing no one tells you.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: Your body literally cannot heal in survival mode.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_00]: And I mean that in the most scientific, physiological sense.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_00]: When your body is in fight or flight, the get things done mode, all its resources go to protecting you, not restoring you, not repairing you, and not healing you.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_00]: Your digestion slows, your hormones misfire, your immune system shifts into defense.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: So you could very well be doing everything right, eating the cleanest food, taking all the supplements, meditating every morning, and still not seeing progress if your body hasn't switched into rest and digest mode.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_00]: This belief makes you live like you're being chased, even when you're not.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_00]: It's why you crash, burn out, or relapse every time you start to make progress.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_00]: Not because your body's broken, but because it's exhausted from being forced to sprint toward healing.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_00]: So let's dismantle it right now.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_00]: Rest isn't risky.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's required.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_00]: Rest isn't a reward you earn once you're better.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's the condition that allows your body to get better.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: Nothing falls apart when you slow down.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_00]: What actually falls apart is the illusion that urgency is keeping you safe because it's not.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_00]: When you rest intentionally, not collapse, but conscious rest, your body finally gets the signal.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not under threat anymore.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: And that's where healing begins.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_00]: So the next time you hear the thought or see the belief come up that if I slow down, I'll lose everything.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_00]: If I don't slow down, I'll never fully heal.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_00]: And honestly, on the other side of dismantling all these beliefs we've talked about today, are the results you've been waiting for.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_00]: My client Crystal, the one I mentioned earlier, is such a testament to that.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_00]: She said it has been one of the most transformative and empowering experiences I've ever had.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_00]: It not only helps me with mindset and emotional healing, but also relationships, career and every aspect of life.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_00]: She then went on and said, many people would think I was crazy for some of my beliefs, but Tecla shared my conviction that anything is possible, and that's why I really wanted to work with her.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: That's what happens when you start to see yourself differently.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: Everything else in your life starts to shift with you.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_00]: When these limiting beliefs stack up, they don't just shape how you feel about your body.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_00]: They start shaping who you are, or at least who you think you are.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_00]: They become your lens, your default setting, your entire identity without you even realizing it.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_00]: And that's where the real work begins, because healing isn't just about doing something different, it's about becoming someone different.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_00]: Someone who sees themselves and their body through a whole new lens of hope and possibility.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_00]: That's actually what I dive deeper into in my seven-day audio series
- 17:01[SPEAKER_00]: If that's something you're feeling pulled toward and want to take the next step, I'll drop the link in the show notes for you.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_00]: Now, let's talk about how this connects to the Universal Laws.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_00]: And if you're a new here, the Universal Laws are the energetic principles that govern how life, healing, and transformation actually work beneath the surface.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_00]: One of the laws that come back to again and again in this work is the law of correspondence.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_00]: It says, as within, so without, as above, so below.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_00]: What that means in simple terms is that your inner world is always being reflected in your outer experience.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_00]: The beliefs you hold, the emotions you suppress, the stories you keep repeating, they don't just live in your mind, they shape what your body feels, what it expresses, what it holds on to, and what it tries to protect you from.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_00]: That's why this mindset work isn't just a fluff, okay?
- 17:59[SPEAKER_00]: It's not a nice to have.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's the entire foundation.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_00]: Because if your internal environment is built on fear, pressure, and self-doubt, your body is going to keep responding to that.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_00]: But when you shift what's happening within, your reality starts to change.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_00]: Crystals healing didn't come from one magic step.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_00]: It came from changing her inner frequency, her beliefs, her identity, and everything else began to reflect that.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_00]: All right, which is, before you jump off today, I want to express gratitude for those who have been rating and reviewing this podcast.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_00]: I read every single one and sometimes I post them on my Instagram and I'm so grateful you take the time to do that.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_00]: So thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_00]: That's all for today.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_00]: Peace, love, and mung beans.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_00]: See you in two weeks, bye.
