- 0:33welcome to a tuesday lunch
- 0:36with cladsdale it is lunch
- 0:37hour taking a little time
- 0:39out of our busy work day to
- 0:41come hang out chat see
- 0:44what's going on can't wait
- 0:46to talk to everybody today um
- 0:50Definitely feeling some
- 0:51effects of my three hundred
- 0:54air squats yesterday.
- 0:57Sitting down in this chair.
- 0:59We're going to see how it
- 0:59affected my shoulders as I
- 1:01go ahead and throw the
- 1:04start at that board over there.
- 1:12Oh, that it hurt a little bit,
- 1:13but not as bad as I thought
- 1:14it was going to hurt.
- 1:15And I came pretty darn close.
- 1:19I'm getting really close now.
- 1:22So if you remember yesterday,
- 1:24we were just to the right.
- 1:29Now,
- 1:30I am just to the left of the bullseye.
- 1:35I don't know if you can see it there.
- 1:39Just about, gosh,
- 1:40half an inch from the bullseye.
- 1:43It's the left one.
- 1:44The one on the right is my
- 1:46dart from yesterday.
- 1:48But we're zeroing in on that bullseye.
- 1:51We're going to get it.
- 1:52We're going to get it.
- 1:53Dan Church promised me a
- 1:56celebration when I hit it.
- 1:59And so we're going to keep trying.
- 2:03But, yeah.
- 2:06So super stoked about my throat today.
- 2:10Feeling good, feeling good.
- 2:11Even though my legs are so damn sore.
- 2:15Just getting out of bed this
- 2:16morning took a little extra effort,
- 2:19but all worth it.
- 2:20Good time yesterday.
- 2:23And we'll get after it today.
- 2:29Ken Walters, Scott,
- 2:30just got done watching yesterday's show.
- 2:32Bums, you're not going to be in Knoxville.
- 2:33And second,
- 2:34how do you leave potato salad
- 2:36and watermelon off the picnic list?
- 2:39Well, it's my list.
- 2:41My mom makes a great potato
- 2:43salad and she makes a great
- 2:44macaroni salad.
- 2:45I prefer the macaroni to the
- 2:47potato because it's lighter.
- 2:50And when I'm out in the sun
- 2:53and hanging out, I want light food.
- 2:56I don't like a big, heavy thing.
- 2:58Watermelon,
- 3:00sometimes I'm really in the mood for it,
- 3:02and I can really go to town
- 3:03on some watermelon.
- 3:05But it's not my favorite fruit.
- 3:06I like some pineapple.
- 3:14Some different things.
- 3:15I like those kinds of fruits.
- 3:17So, yeah.
- 3:18Anyway...
- 3:20That's why.
- 3:22My mom's taste sounds really good.
- 3:24You only get to pick five, man.
- 3:25It gets tough.
- 3:26It gets tough.
- 3:29So, yeah.
- 3:32Kat tried to join.
- 3:34That would have been awesome.
- 3:36Apparently,
- 3:36her Mac no longer has a camera.
- 3:39I don't think they just
- 3:40disappear or go away.
- 3:46Maybe it got disconnected.
- 3:46Disconnected.
- 3:50aaron frazier did murph on
- 3:52saturday at the affiliate
- 3:53pretty sore for two days
- 3:55feeling okay today uh pr'd
- 4:01by six minutes and uh
- 4:04jaybert says howdy we
- 4:07always like when jaybert
- 4:07says howdy cat is trying to
- 4:10reboot and jump in that'd be awesome um
- 4:15But while she's doing that,
- 4:16I wanted to put out a huge thank you.
- 4:20If you saw any of my stories
- 4:22on Instagram over the last
- 4:24twenty four hours,
- 4:25it was a year ago today
- 4:27that a young gentleman
- 4:28reached out to me and was
- 4:30looking for a way to get
- 4:32into the West Coast classic.
- 4:36to do some photography and
- 4:37video work um at the same
- 4:39time I was not told I had
- 4:42media credentials for west
- 4:44coast until a week before
- 4:45the event happened and for
- 4:47me to get from columbus to
- 4:49california with a week's
- 4:51notice and the small budget
- 4:52that I have to kind of
- 4:53figure things out I wasn't
- 4:55able to get to the west
- 4:56coast classic last year and so um
- 5:00ishmael garcia reached out
- 5:02to me and said hey I'm
- 5:03looking to get in do some
- 5:04work can I work for you I'd
- 5:08seen him around the space a
- 5:09little bit and I said sure
- 5:11let's give it a try let's
- 5:12see what we can do um and
- 5:15so he posted a story
- 5:16yesterday and I reposted it
- 5:18with a caption I'm going to
- 5:19share that real quick uh
- 5:25So he kind of says,
- 5:28fast forward a year after, I'm sorry,
- 5:32what it felt like leaving Pasadena semis,
- 5:36seeing all the homies
- 5:37capture and posting shots.
- 5:41then he said fast forward a
- 5:42year after that I reached
- 5:43out to a couple of people
- 5:44brands to shoot west coast
- 5:46classic for them and
- 5:47unfortunately got left
- 5:48unread uh clydesdale media
- 5:50was the only one who
- 5:51replied and did not
- 5:52hesitate to try and get me
- 5:53a pass to shoot for him
- 5:55this weekend marks a year
- 5:56since shooting west coast
- 5:57classic and working with
- 5:59scott I appreciate you for
- 6:00trusting me and believing
- 6:02in my work can't thank you enough um
- 6:06It has been awesome.
- 6:07He has been incredible.
- 6:09He has been my eyes in the
- 6:11CrossFit space in a year
- 6:14that I had to take care of my wife.
- 6:16I had to get her through two
- 6:18knee surgeries,
- 6:19two total knee replacements,
- 6:21and have not been able to
- 6:22be out on the road
- 6:24And Ishmael has done all of
- 6:26the work for me to get all
- 6:28the photos you see when I
- 6:30post those from competition
- 6:32weekends over the last year.
- 6:34He was at West Coast Classic.
- 6:36He was at Waterpalooza SoCal.
- 6:40He was at Waterpalooza.
- 6:42He's done all of that stuff.
- 6:43And then a bunch of,
- 6:45he was a WFP and the
- 6:46semifinals this year.
- 6:47And so I want to give a huge
- 6:48thank you to him because
- 6:50it's been an awesome year
- 6:52hanging out with Ishmael.
- 6:53And I hope that that
- 6:56relationship continues
- 6:58because he's an amazing photographer.
- 7:00If you have not checked out his stuff,
- 7:02go to, I think,
- 7:05He has one that is Eastma
- 7:08captures on Instagram.
- 7:10And then the simple one is like ICG.
- 7:13So yeah.
- 7:16So with that,
- 7:17I see someone in the green room.
- 7:22And there she is.
- 7:23Hi.
- 7:25So you do have a camera.
- 7:26Yeah.
- 7:27I don't know what happened.
- 7:27It just,
- 7:28it said like camera not detected
- 7:30and it's part of the computer.
- 7:31So it's not like I removed it.
- 7:33Yeah, computers are funny.
- 7:36Up until this week, two weeks before this,
- 7:39StreamYard has been acting so bizarre.
- 7:40Yeah.
- 7:42Like I've been having
- 7:43trouble getting on every day.
- 7:46I have to reboot my laptop
- 7:48to recognize all the different things.
- 7:50It's crazy.
- 7:52So it didn't recognize the
- 7:54Rodecaster for a week
- 7:56unless I rebooted my
- 7:57computer before every show.
- 7:59Yeah.
- 8:00No, good.
- 8:02How are you?
- 8:03I'm good.
- 8:04Really good.
- 8:04I had a whirlwind weekend.
- 8:07I saw you were in the sun and fun.
- 8:09I went to Florida with a boy.
- 8:12I saw it got hacked by one
- 8:15of those dating apps.
- 8:16Probably.
- 8:18Yeah.
- 8:20Yeah.
- 8:20I went to Florida was
- 8:21supposed to go to Baltimore
- 8:22for the weekend and realize
- 8:24that the weather wasn't
- 8:25going to be that cooperative.
- 8:26So we decided to go to Florida.
- 8:29So we left Friday morning,
- 8:30came back yesterday morning
- 8:32and then went out on his
- 8:34boat all day yesterday.
- 8:36So I've got a fried forehead.
- 8:39Yeah, it looks pretty red.
- 8:41Probably drank a little too
- 8:42much all weekend and I'm recovering now.
- 8:49So this is, um,
- 8:51you said you met somebody a
- 8:52couple of weeks ago,
- 8:53but you didn't want to get
- 8:54into it because you know, it's still,
- 8:57are we still in the don't
- 8:59want to jinx its face?
- 9:00Yeah, no, I don't think so.
- 9:01I mean, we've had,
- 9:03I feel like when you go away with someone,
- 9:05it's kind of,
- 9:06we were calling it like the
- 9:07shit out shit or get off the pot weekend.
- 9:09You know,
- 9:10you're either going to like
- 9:11somebody more or you're going to be like,
- 9:12Oh my gosh,
- 9:13like I can't deal with this person.
- 9:15So, uh,
- 9:17We got to the airport Friday morning.
- 9:19We got into the elevator to
- 9:20go up a floor to the ticketing booth.
- 9:24And there was literally a
- 9:25pile of human feces in the elevator.
- 9:30Yeah, welcome to Philly.
- 9:32And so that was the
- 9:35beginning of the adventure
- 9:37for the weekend.
- 9:38I thought it was appropriate
- 9:39because of how- Bad sign or bad moment?
- 9:42What's that?
- 9:43Bad sign or bad moment?
- 9:45No, it was neither.
- 9:46It was, it was just, it was fitting.
- 9:48Right.
- 9:48Okay.
- 9:51So yeah.
- 9:52Yeah.
- 9:53We know we had a great time.
- 9:54We had a good time.
- 9:54He's a really good guy.
- 9:55Like I met him in real life.
- 9:57Didn't meet him on the app,
- 9:58which I'm super happy about.
- 10:01You know, he, he lives close by.
- 10:03He's got a child.
- 10:06It's not a child, not really a child and,
- 10:09you know,
- 10:09almost up and out and all that
- 10:11kind of stuff.
- 10:11So yeah.
- 10:13Yeah, we're giving it a go.
- 10:15When you got to go, you got to go.
- 10:18I want to know the details
- 10:19of that whole scenario.
- 10:20Was it a homeless person?
- 10:21Was it somebody who was
- 10:22trying to get to their
- 10:23flight and just couldn't wait?
- 10:25Did they report it to anyone
- 10:27to get cleaned up?
- 10:27On our way back,
- 10:28I really wanted to go back
- 10:29to the same elevator to see
- 10:30if it was still there.
- 10:34Do you hit the emergency
- 10:35stop button so you have
- 10:36some time without the doors opening?
- 10:38I mean, yeah, I don't know what you do.
- 10:40All I know is I did not
- 10:40breathe when I was in there.
- 10:43And that's the other thing.
- 10:45There was an elevator right
- 10:46across the hall.
- 10:47Like we didn't, there was no like, Oh,
- 10:49let's just get off and go
- 10:50take the other one.
- 10:51It was like, here we are.
- 10:52This is what we're doing now.
- 10:54Yeah.
- 10:55Or Hey, the stairs work.
- 10:57Right.
- 10:57Yeah.
- 10:57We could have done that too.
- 10:58We ended up taking the
- 10:59stairs up on the way back.
- 11:00So yeah, that's good.
- 11:03So you ended up in Fort
- 11:04Lauderdale of all places in Florida.
- 11:06Why Fort Lauderdale?
- 11:09I don't know.
- 11:10That's, that's where he chose to go.
- 11:12He said that he usually goes
- 11:15to Miami a lot,
- 11:16but we just kind of wanted
- 11:17something a little more low key.
- 11:19So Fort Lauderdale is kind
- 11:20of like a step down in
- 11:21terms of action and
- 11:22nightlife and all that.
- 11:23And yeah, it was good.
- 11:26A lot of pool time,
- 11:27a lot of little bit of ocean time.
- 11:29We found this cool bar
- 11:31called the elbow room, which was like,
- 11:32just like a live music dance place.
- 11:36Yeah.
- 11:36We had a, had a lot of fun.
- 11:37Yeah.
- 11:39It sounds fun.
- 11:41It was good.
- 11:41Um,
- 11:43How are other things?
- 11:44Everything else?
- 11:44Good.
- 11:46Work is good.
- 11:47Working out is good.
- 11:48When I, when I get to the gym, um,
- 11:50I've been a little,
- 11:52I've been missing my morning workouts,
- 11:54but, uh, I'll be going tomorrow.
- 11:55I usually go like Tuesday, Wednesday,
- 11:57or Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,
- 11:59Saturday are usually my
- 12:00four days that I get in for sure.
- 12:03Um,
- 12:04And I really like the gym
- 12:05that I'm going to for anyone CrossFit.
- 12:06It's it's cool.
- 12:07Like mostly people my age, not super,
- 12:11super competitive,
- 12:11but there are some girls
- 12:12that I try to chase, which is always fun.
- 12:14And, you know,
- 12:16I'm I don't have any limitations.
- 12:17Now.
- 12:17I saw my surgeon last week
- 12:19and I'm ready to go.
- 12:20I don't know if I could do
- 12:22four days in a row,
- 12:23doing all the things anymore.
- 12:26I mean, maybe three, three to four.
- 12:29But I'm trying to keep up with them.
- 12:31I've really kind of embraced
- 12:32the listen to my body phase
- 12:35of my life finally.
- 12:39And I just do what I can do
- 12:40when I can do it.
- 12:41And yeah, it seems to be working.
- 12:45Yeah.
- 12:45And I was on an airplane yesterday,
- 12:46so I didn't get a chance to do Murph,
- 12:48unfortunately, but I haven't done her.
- 12:51I mean,
- 12:52I haven't done it fully in probably
- 12:55three or four, maybe five or six years.
- 12:57Anyway,
- 12:57I would always do half Murph at my gym.
- 13:01Yeah.
- 13:03For all those years we traveled,
- 13:06like Carolina and I were
- 13:08talking about it.
- 13:08She was either prepping for
- 13:10a semifinal or at a
- 13:12semifinal on Memorial Day weekend.
- 13:14Yeah.
- 13:15She hadn't done Murph in like five years.
- 13:19Until last year,
- 13:20I would say the same
- 13:21because we were always at an event.
- 13:24Yeah.
- 13:24This was the first Memorial
- 13:26Day in a while that there
- 13:27wasn't a semifinal or
- 13:29sanctional or whatever you
- 13:30want to call it.
- 13:31I know all we had was grid.
- 13:32Right.
- 13:37Grid.
- 13:38Because John Young was doing
- 13:39grid and a couple of my
- 13:41friends have moved over to
- 13:42the grid league.
- 13:44We've met over the years.
- 13:45Yeah.
- 13:46I ended up watching a couple
- 13:48matches on Saturday.
- 13:51Yeah,
- 13:51I don't think I could watch a bunch
- 13:53of it.
- 13:55every week but it seems like
- 13:57they do like one big match
- 13:59day and then they take a
- 14:00month off and then they do
- 14:01another match day yeah I
- 14:03could probably handle that
- 14:03pace were there were there
- 14:05two teams competing or
- 14:06there was like a multiple
- 14:07teams it was all eight
- 14:10teams competing okay so and
- 14:12they just went back to back
- 14:13to back in the same arena
- 14:14nice are they still doing
- 14:17are they still doing the
- 14:18total bar chest of our combo gymnastics
- 14:22I can actually do those,
- 14:23believe it or not.
- 14:24I hate to do toes to bar and
- 14:25I can't do chest to bar very well.
- 14:27But when I put the two of them together,
- 14:28I actually do them pretty well.
- 14:31It's kind of like a glide
- 14:34tip for the chest to bar almost.
- 14:37Maybe that's why I can do it.
- 14:39the first race was it
- 14:41started with ground to
- 14:42overhead with kettlebells
- 14:44and it was such a train
- 14:45wreck of standardized of
- 14:47standard movement.
- 14:49Yeah.
- 14:49I was like, I,
- 14:52and I know that they're not CrossFit.
- 14:53They don't pretend to be CrossFit.
- 14:55They're their own thing.
- 14:55They have their own
- 14:56standards and you have to respect that.
- 15:00It was so damn ugly.
- 15:04Did it,
- 15:05did you get to see Kelsey Kiel in
- 15:06any of the matches?
- 15:07She was later in the day.
- 15:09Okay.
- 15:10So, but like our friend, Jesse,
- 15:13she's competing.
- 15:14Yeah, I saw her.
- 15:15I saw her on stuff.
- 15:16Lauren Olson,
- 15:17one of our first listeners
- 15:18ever is now competing in
- 15:20the grid league as a
- 15:21strength expert on John Young's team.
- 15:25And she's awesome.
- 15:26Lauren was killing it.
- 15:28I think the videos I've saw of Kelsey,
- 15:31she was killing it as well.
- 15:32Yeah, I'm sure.
- 15:35But
- 15:38Uh, toe to our chest of our bar muscle up.
- 15:40Hmm.
- 15:42Maybe I should try that.
- 15:42Maybe that's how I'll get my
- 15:44bar muscle up more consistent.
- 15:46Uh, the jumping pistols were wild.
- 15:50Yeah.
- 15:50Uh,
- 15:51they had John young do the jumping
- 15:52pistols, which I was shocked.
- 15:54Uh,
- 15:55but maybe just because of his height
- 15:56compared to some of the other athletes,
- 15:58uh, to get up over that.
- 16:02Cause it's just what a PVC
- 16:03pipe stuck out there.
- 16:06Um,
- 16:08Yeah.
- 16:09Anyway,
- 16:10it filled a little bit of my Saturday.
- 16:13I'm really excited for this
- 16:14weekend to see all the things.
- 16:17All the things.
- 16:19All the things.
- 16:21Eight tickets up for grabs.
- 16:22I mean, how do you choose?
- 16:24The men and eight tickets for the women.
- 16:30No.
- 16:30Two of those only get one.
- 16:32So we have six tickets up for grabs,
- 16:34men and women.
- 16:34Okay.
- 16:38We tried to preview Far East
- 16:39on Sunday night.
- 16:41I don't know anybody over
- 16:42there other than Shahir Kaya.
- 16:45Yeah.
- 16:48I knew none of the men
- 16:49because half of the field
- 16:50last year tested positive.
- 16:53So there's like nobody left
- 16:54in the men's division.
- 16:58When it comes to Africa,
- 16:59it's Sarah and a bunch of
- 17:01people that I don't really know.
- 17:04And this is her last best shot.
- 17:06Yeah.
- 17:07I do like the fact that with
- 17:08all of these different time zones,
- 17:09I feel like we could just
- 17:10continually watch
- 17:12throughout the entire weekend something.
- 17:14There's always going to be something on,
- 17:16assuming everybody's streaming.
- 17:20Yeah,
- 17:20I don't know anything about the
- 17:21streaming.
- 17:25I know Torian will always stream.
- 17:27Yeah.
- 17:29And I know Syndicate, the Savant podcast,
- 17:31is streaming it.
- 17:33I don't know anything about
- 17:36far east or renegade rebel
- 17:38renegade no clue so yeah um
- 17:45syndicate's gonna be pretty
- 17:47good it's I thought it was
- 17:48a pretty reduced field
- 17:49because of everybody who
- 17:50qualified but it actually
- 17:52is a pretty good field um
- 17:56On the women's side,
- 17:56I think Carolyn Stanley is
- 17:58the one to beat.
- 18:00And then it's just up for
- 18:01grabs for that last spot with Shelby Neal,
- 18:06the Wells sisters, and gosh,
- 18:12trying to do it all from memory.
- 18:15She made it last year, Lexi Neely.
- 18:18Are we in an era where
- 18:21Brooke Wells isn't going to
- 18:22make the games?
- 18:25I don't think she is.
- 18:26Yeah, that's wild.
- 18:29I mean, you think about it,
- 18:30she's going on this,
- 18:31she's like in her ninth season.
- 18:35Do we think she should be at the games?
- 18:37Like,
- 18:38do we think that this new system is
- 18:39not picking is not getting
- 18:41the right people there
- 18:42because of the way it's
- 18:44sort of segmented who can
- 18:46go to which semifinal?
- 18:48Cause I, I kind of feel,
- 18:50and this doesn't have
- 18:50anything to do with Brooke,
- 18:51maybe not making it, but just in general.
- 18:54Well, I think that I, one,
- 18:56I don't think we have the
- 18:57right thirty going to the games.
- 18:59Right.
- 19:00OK.
- 19:01I don't know where Brooke is
- 19:02because she withdrew from
- 19:05everything other than the online.
- 19:07And then her penalties were
- 19:09so bad in the online that
- 19:11do we really even know what
- 19:12her capacity is anymore?
- 19:14Right.
- 19:15And I use a capacity in a funny sense.
- 19:21I don't know where she's at
- 19:22anymore at this point in her career.
- 19:24It's funny because Ben Smith
- 19:26was on Savan this morning
- 19:28and Savan asked this
- 19:29awesome question where
- 19:31after he won the games,
- 19:33did you think in your head
- 19:36as everybody was pulling
- 19:37away from you that they
- 19:39were all on drugs?
- 19:43And Ben said, I did think that really,
- 19:46he said,
- 19:46I have no knowledge to any of that.
- 19:48I have no,
- 19:50But it was either my fitness
- 19:53was getting that much worse
- 19:54or it was a trend that was
- 19:59unlike anything I'd seen in
- 20:01the history of CrossFit.
- 20:02Everybody kind of came in,
- 20:04slowly built to a capacity
- 20:06where they could compete,
- 20:08and that's where it was.
- 20:09Then there was this pack that came,
- 20:10and they pulled away super fast.
- 20:15And so in my head, I was like,
- 20:17they must all be using drugs.
- 20:19Wow.
- 20:20Then I was surprised he said it.
- 20:22I'm not surprised.
- 20:23Ben is one of those people
- 20:24that you don't know what
- 20:25Ben you're getting in that conversation.
- 20:27And some days he'll,
- 20:29he'll spit out everything.
- 20:30And some days he's very tight lipped.
- 20:34But today he just like for a
- 20:37legend and a CrossFit games
- 20:38champion to say,
- 20:40my thought process was they
- 20:41were all using is something
- 20:44we've never heard.
- 20:44I hate that.
- 20:46I hate that.
- 20:48We don't know.
- 20:52Yeah.
- 20:52I mean, and then they got into like,
- 20:54would he ever do it?
- 20:55And he said, no,
- 20:57it's not his character to
- 20:59cheat in any way, shape or form.
- 21:02And we've had that
- 21:03discussion on here before.
- 21:04Would you ever use.
- 21:07And gosh,
- 21:08there's part of me that if there
- 21:10were no side effects and I
- 21:11wouldn't even need it for competing,
- 21:13I don't need to do it to go compete.
- 21:14Right.
- 21:16I just want to look better.
- 21:19But.
- 21:21Yep.
- 21:24So you can feel better
- 21:27because feeling better is
- 21:28probably the bigger piece
- 21:29of it for me at least.
- 21:31Yeah.
- 21:31Yeah.
- 21:32I hate that my body is breaking down.
- 21:35I'm fifty five.
- 21:36Right.
- 21:36I can't do what I used to do.
- 21:39And if I try to do it,
- 21:40my body just says no.
- 21:42Yeah.
- 21:45So.
- 21:45We don't, I've talked about this on my,
- 21:47on my podcast, catching feelings too.
- 21:49I just feel like we were not
- 21:51meant to live as long as we
- 21:53do these days.
- 21:54If you think about, you know,
- 21:56lifespan and how it's
- 21:57increased over the
- 22:01thousands of years that
- 22:02we've been a species.
- 22:03And I just think that our
- 22:04biology hasn't caught up
- 22:05with us and that we
- 22:08You know, when you stop being fertile,
- 22:10like for women,
- 22:11that's you were probably
- 22:12supposed to die soon thereafter.
- 22:14You know what I mean?
- 22:14You probably weren't
- 22:15supposed to live another thirty, forty,
- 22:17fifty years.
- 22:19Not having access to all
- 22:21those natural hormones in
- 22:22your body and all the
- 22:23processes that go along with it.
- 22:26And I think because of modern medicine,
- 22:28you know,
- 22:28we're kept alive longer than we should.
- 22:30And our bodies just haven't
- 22:32our natural like biology
- 22:34hasn't caught up yet.
- 22:35that's,
- 22:36and so that's where the hormone
- 22:38replacement stuff comes into play.
- 22:39And it says like, okay,
- 22:40well we're just going to
- 22:41pretend like we're still fertile and,
- 22:43you know,
- 22:44enjoy life for a little bit longer.
- 22:47Meredith Jones says,
- 22:48I want things to stop hurting.
- 22:49That's the only reason I'd try it.
- 22:54It's funny cause I,
- 22:55I've been talking to my mom
- 22:56who just had a stroke like two months ago,
- 22:58right?
- 22:59She's eight years old and
- 23:01she's always been that person that,
- 23:03And I've told her story on here a ton.
- 23:06She's lost one hundred and fifty pounds.
- 23:08She started doing five K's
- 23:10at like sixty five.
- 23:12She's now eighty.
- 23:13She's that person just goes, goes, goes,
- 23:15goes,
- 23:15goes and has a ball of energy stroke.
- 23:18She just doesn't have that.
- 23:20And it's.
- 23:22I think it's leading to
- 23:24depression because all of a sudden,
- 23:27like she just can't go like she could.
- 23:30Right.
- 23:30And she.
- 23:33and one,
- 23:33I think she's too stubborn to let
- 23:35her body heal from the stroke.
- 23:37And like,
- 23:38so that she can go back at it again,
- 23:41she's trying to go at it
- 23:42before she's ready.
- 23:46Yeah.
- 23:46So that's, I, I,
- 23:47I can see it happening to her at eight.
- 23:51Like we weren't supposed to
- 23:52be running five Ks at eight.
- 23:54Yeah.
- 23:57Uh, David Johnson,
- 23:58if I'm not hurting
- 23:58somewhere from training,
- 23:59I feel out of shape.
- 24:03I start to get sore,
- 24:05like my back and core get
- 24:07sore when I stop working out.
- 24:08If I go for a period of time
- 24:09and not work out, five, six days,
- 24:11I start to get sore, which is weird.
- 24:14Yeah.
- 24:15What I had to learn in my
- 24:17mid-fifties is what's the point?
- 24:20Where do I go to to not hurt?
- 24:24Yeah.
- 24:27Yeah, from inactivity or from overuse.
- 24:29Sense enough to hurt enough
- 24:30where I'm supposed to hurt
- 24:33and not go to the point
- 24:34where I'm beyond that and
- 24:35actually injuring myself.
- 24:36Yes, true.
- 24:39That's the tough thing for me at this age.
- 24:42Yeah.
- 24:44No, it's true.
- 24:45And I've been drinking so much lately,
- 24:48like literally way more than I'm used to.
- 24:51And I was like afraid to get rhabdo.
- 24:55Cause you know how like
- 24:55alcohol is one of the
- 24:56biggest sort of factors and you know,
- 24:58I'm doing a hundred hang
- 25:00cleans or whatever else.
- 25:02Um, I forgot to mention,
- 25:03I dropped in at CrossFit
- 25:04Fort Lauderdale on Saturday morning.
- 25:08Um, great gym dogs loved it.
- 25:12Dogs running around like crazy.
- 25:14Um, in the middle of the workout,
- 25:16it was a partner workout.
- 25:17It was at calories on the
- 25:18echo bike while your partner.
- 25:21held a handstand hold.
- 25:22So you were, you know, like,
- 25:24ten calories on the bike, handstand hold,
- 25:25and you kind of switch
- 25:26until you get eighty calories.
- 25:28And then it was fifty power
- 25:34cleans at eighty-five,
- 25:37and then it was another
- 25:38eighty calories on the bike,
- 25:41and while you were doing that,
- 25:42you had to hold the barbell
- 25:43in a front rack.
- 25:45So basically, you were choking yourself,
- 25:47right,
- 25:47while the other person was doing
- 25:48the bike.
- 25:50there was an odd number.
- 25:51So I just kind of like
- 25:52shadowed these two girls, but I told them,
- 25:54I was like, don't pay attention to me.
- 25:55Just kind of do your own thing.
- 25:56I'm going to be over here
- 25:57going back and forth with my stuff.
- 25:59And in the middle of the workout,
- 26:00this woman from the back of the gym,
- 26:01she's on an echo bike.
- 26:03Um,
- 26:03there was like a big section behind
- 26:05where people were doing
- 26:05open gym and just kind of
- 26:07hanging out from the last class.
- 26:08She comes over to me and
- 26:09starts talking to me in the
- 26:10middle of the workout.
- 26:11She's a,
- 26:12she's a judge from like the games in
- 26:20she recognized me and we
- 26:21started chatting like in
- 26:23the middle of the workout.
- 26:23It was fine.
- 26:24Like I was in the middle of
- 26:24doing my echo bike and she
- 26:25just comes over and chats
- 26:26and we're talking about
- 26:27whatever the head coach had
- 26:29a granite games,
- 26:31twenty twenty two judges shirt.
- 26:33And I said, oh, did the coach judge, too?
- 26:35She goes, no, that's my shirt.
- 26:37She said,
- 26:38I kept all my originals and gave
- 26:39all my extra ones away to
- 26:41people at the gym.
- 26:43She's like, I know it says judge,
- 26:44but that's fine.
- 26:45She lives there.
- 26:46She lives in Fort Lauderdale.
- 26:47It was just so random, like
- 26:49how we make connections with
- 26:50people in this sport and in
- 26:51this space and that she
- 26:53recognized me and said,
- 26:54I recognize her too,
- 26:55but I couldn't really
- 26:56figure out maybe where I knew her from.
- 26:59Yeah, Andrew, I think it was Olga.
- 27:01Blonde, blonde hair, short, super cute,
- 27:05red lips, like the whole bit.
- 27:07Yeah, she's adorable.
- 27:08I mean, she's probably late fifties,
- 27:11early sixties.
- 27:14Ken says,
- 27:15where does it say we weren't
- 27:16supposed to be running five
- 27:17Ks in the eighties?
- 27:19I did Murph with a vest Friday,
- 27:20half Murph partner without
- 27:22a vest yesterday.
- 27:23I don't,
- 27:23I'm not saying we were not supposed to.
- 27:26I think we're just, we're beating age.
- 27:31I think what Kat is saying
- 27:32is we're beating age beyond
- 27:34what we have in the past
- 27:35and how to handle that at a
- 27:37later years is, is harder to understand.
- 27:45Yeah.
- 27:46It's a big flex, Ken.
- 27:46Two marks on a weekend.
- 27:51Yeah.
- 27:52Trying to make us all look bad.
- 27:58The other thing Ben Smith
- 28:00said today was that Gabby
- 28:01Magawa is working out at Krypton.
- 28:04Oh.
- 28:05Still.
- 28:06Nice.
- 28:06I like that.
- 28:08Well,
- 28:08she was doing that with Laura way
- 28:10back when, right?
- 28:11Right.
- 28:11But he also said he hasn't
- 28:12talked to Laura since the
- 28:14games and not that he, like he's,
- 28:17he wanted it clear.
- 28:18Like he's not mad at her or
- 28:19there's no issue between the two of them.
- 28:21Right.
- 28:22But he's team Gabby with grief.
- 28:25Everybody deals with grief
- 28:26in different ways.
- 28:27And so whatever, but, um, uh,
- 28:33Jay Birch says, uh,
- 28:34Ken can do that because he,
- 28:35all the scallops and onions he eats.
- 28:41Can't eat a ribeye every day, I thought,
- 28:42for lunch.
- 28:47My son was home for a week.
- 28:50And of course,
- 28:51the weekend that I decided to go away,
- 28:52he's home.
- 28:53And you guys know how much I
- 28:54want to spend time with him.
- 28:55But he actually stayed at my
- 28:56apartment while I was here.
- 28:57And he drove my car around
- 28:59because his truck is not that reliable.
- 29:02And so the reasons how you
- 29:04know that your twenty two
- 29:06year old son stayed at your
- 29:07apartment and drove your car all weekend.
- 29:09without actually knowing
- 29:10that that's what he did.
- 29:11I came home to the apartment.
- 29:13The thermostat was at sixty
- 29:14five degrees because he had
- 29:17jacked that down.
- 29:19The steaks and the chicken
- 29:21thighs were all gone from the fridge.
- 29:23There was a there were two clean pots,
- 29:26mind you,
- 29:26a skillet and a frying pan on
- 29:30the on the thing.
- 29:32The Diet Dr. Pepper from the
- 29:34pantry was gone.
- 29:35was a random razor hanging
- 29:37out like in the bathroom
- 29:39the towels were not where
- 29:39they were supposed to be um
- 29:42what else did I find oh in
- 29:44the car there was a there
- 29:46were two three empty ghost
- 29:48drink bottles you know from
- 29:50his pre-workouts whatever
- 29:53um and I couldn't find my
- 29:54phone charger so that's
- 29:56signs that your
- 29:57twenty-two-year-old stayed
- 29:58with you yeah anytime my
- 30:00daughter comes we lose five
- 30:02or six chargers yeah
- 30:05I mean, I did tell him to help himself,
- 30:06obviously.
- 30:06I mean, I thought the meat form,
- 30:07I knew he would,
- 30:08I know he would eat all
- 30:09that and everything else,
- 30:10but he did a pretty good job.
- 30:11He like straightened up a little bit.
- 30:13He didn't quite make the bed, but, uh,
- 30:16he's getting, he's getting,
- 30:18starting to get a lot of
- 30:19followers on TikTok too.
- 30:20He's looking fierce.
- 30:23Um,
- 30:23I keep asking him if he's going to like
- 30:25think about competing, um,
- 30:27in bodybuilding.
- 30:27And I really hope that he
- 30:29does because he looks really,
- 30:30really cool.
- 30:32Kind of trying to see, I'll put his, uh,
- 30:36I'll put his TikTok account on there.
- 30:38If anybody's on TikTok,
- 30:39they should go follow him.
- 30:42Let me see what it is.
- 30:45I think it's Braden something.
- 30:47Mine would be all the beer
- 30:48and food is gone.
- 30:49Yeah.
- 30:51He doesn't drink and he's always on a cut.
- 30:53I took him out to dinner on
- 30:54Thursday night and he
- 30:56picked the most expensive
- 30:59restaurant in the area that
- 31:01I had never been to before.
- 31:03And again, he orders the
- 31:06The prime ribeye,
- 31:11it's like seventy two dollars.
- 31:13He gets it rare.
- 31:16I bought,
- 31:16here let me put this thing in here,
- 31:18lifting.
- 31:19This is his TikTok, lifting.
- 31:25I got like an artichoke
- 31:25appetizer and it had like
- 31:27oil and butter on it or something.
- 31:28He like wouldn't eat it, wouldn't eat it.
- 31:31It wasn't prime rib, it was a ribeye steak,
- 31:35rare.
- 31:37And then of course we have
- 31:37to get like the carpaccio
- 31:39because he's bougie like that.
- 31:43And then no dessert.
- 31:46But I'm pretty sure our
- 31:47dinner was more expensive
- 31:48than like the most
- 31:49expensive dinner we had in Florida.
- 31:51And Florida is pretty expensive.
- 32:01Okay, I'm done promoting him.
- 32:08Yeah.
- 32:14He is, he's pretty ripped.
- 32:17He works so hard.
- 32:18He really does.
- 32:19I mean, he's enhanced too.
- 32:20Let's face it.
- 32:20He's in the bodybuilding world.
- 32:22So he does some shit,
- 32:23but he's constantly working out.
- 32:28Now, if I could just get him to get a job,
- 32:30that would be amazing.
- 32:33Yeah.
- 32:33Yeah.
- 32:37Gosh,
- 32:37I don't know if I should say this on air,
- 32:39but I probably will because
- 32:40I'm just open.
- 32:42We've been talking with my
- 32:43daughter a lot because
- 32:44she's out in Montana doing
- 32:46the whole thing.
- 32:47Julie and I have picked up
- 32:49finally the final season of
- 32:51Yellowstone because it
- 32:52makes us feel closer to her.
- 32:55So we're finishing up that.
- 32:58But she's like the happiest
- 33:00I've ever seen her.
- 33:02since graduating high school.
- 33:05And she loves her job.
- 33:06She loves it in Montana.
- 33:07She's just loving everything.
- 33:09She gets a letter from the ex-boyfriend.
- 33:13And he wants to buy a ring
- 33:18and wants to buy a house in
- 33:20Montana with his military
- 33:22money and have her live in
- 33:27it until he gets out of the Navy.
- 33:30And I'm just like,
- 33:32she she'd kind of moved into
- 33:34like not needing a man and
- 33:39just doing her thing and,
- 33:42and as happy as she could ever be.
- 33:44Yeah.
- 33:45And now this letter comes and she's,
- 33:49and now she's like distraught.
- 33:51What do I do?
- 33:52It like,
- 33:53she's actually horrified that he got,
- 33:56that he sent this letter.
- 33:59Like, cause she's not ready for that.
- 34:00She goes, I'm twenty four years old.
- 34:02I'm not ready for that commitment.
- 34:04And so like, yeah,
- 34:07he fumbled and he's
- 34:08realizing it now that it
- 34:10happens all the time.
- 34:11That sucks because it's
- 34:12always happens just when
- 34:13you're like over the hump
- 34:15and you're feeling good.
- 34:17That sucks.
- 34:20How did, so what is she?
- 34:21So Meredith,
- 34:22he's in basic training right now.
- 34:23So he doesn't have access to
- 34:26social media or a phone.
- 34:28Uh,
- 34:28he only gets like a one phone call
- 34:31every two weeks.
- 34:34And it's because all of this separation,
- 34:37I think is why he feels this way now.
- 34:40Right.
- 34:42Cause he can't even talk to her.
- 34:45Um,
- 34:47I'm just,
- 34:48I want to be a parent to her and say,
- 34:52don't fall into this trap.
- 34:54But I know if I say it directly to her,
- 34:58like it's, she's not going to listen.
- 35:01She's going to go the opposite direction.
- 35:03Right.
- 35:03So how do I do, how do I do that?
- 35:06And Heidi is asking, is he a good guy?
- 35:09The reason they broke up is not,
- 35:11was not for good reasons.
- 35:14Right.
- 35:15You mean, no,
- 35:16you mean it was a good reason,
- 35:17but he was not being a good guy.
- 35:18Correct.
- 35:19Okay.
- 35:19Correct.
- 35:20So the answer to Heidi's
- 35:21question before Christmas.
- 35:24Yeah.
- 35:25Right.
- 35:25He broke up while they broke up together.
- 35:27It was a mutual kind of thing,
- 35:29but it was for,
- 35:30for things that he did that
- 35:31were not good.
- 35:34And I think she's finally
- 35:35realizing all of this stuff
- 35:37and that she didn't need him.
- 35:39And now he drops this bomb and,
- 35:43while everything's going
- 35:45awesome for her yeah she
- 35:47doesn't need that uh yeah
- 35:47he's missing anything that
- 35:53seems normal compared to
- 35:54being in boot camp yeah but
- 35:56what a hard thing for her
- 35:57to have to deal with now
- 35:58because well and and they
- 36:03were they did kind of get
- 36:04to like a friend state
- 36:06before he went into base to basic
- 36:10and and she promised to come
- 36:12to his graduation and
- 36:14that's when he wants to go
- 36:15ring shopping during that
- 36:17weekend which comes up next
- 36:19month it's in june sometime
- 36:23and I I'm just this just
- 36:25have I just found out about
- 36:26it before we went on the
- 36:27air like literally five
- 36:28minutes before we went on
- 36:29the air yeah um and I go
- 36:31out on a couple dates with somebody else
- 36:35Well,
- 36:35she's made like a ton of good friends.
- 36:39Like they hang out.
- 36:41They go on hikes.
- 36:42They do pool days.
- 36:45Like she's just having a blast.
- 36:48And I think that that's why
- 36:49she's horrified.
- 36:50And hopefully it stays that
- 36:52way for the right reason.
- 36:57Clock,
- 36:58I made some weird phone calls from
- 36:59boot camp myself to former girlfriends.
- 37:04Yeah.
- 37:06we're seeing it firsthand
- 37:08and I just she's my only
- 37:11kid you know I just I you
- 37:16know I'm still protective
- 37:17dad even though she's a
- 37:19grown woman um I just hope
- 37:22she sees the truth in this
- 37:24whole thing but thank god
- 37:28she doesn't ever listen to
- 37:29my show because she would
- 37:31she would literally murder
- 37:32me for me talking about it on this show
- 37:35Yeah.
- 37:36My,
- 37:36my kids don't listen to my shows either.
- 37:39Unless we're talking about dating.
- 37:41She needs to keep reminding
- 37:43herself about why they
- 37:44broke up in the first place.
- 37:47Well, and again,
- 37:47like her initial reaction
- 37:48was she was horrified that
- 37:49he even brought up a ring
- 37:51and getting married at this
- 37:53point in their life.
- 37:55So hopefully we stay in that direction,
- 37:58but man.
- 37:59Yeah.
- 38:00She has to realize that
- 38:01that's like not an
- 38:02appropriate thing to be talking about.
- 38:05And you know when your kid
- 38:07is finally happy and like
- 38:09in the place they want to
- 38:10be and everything's going well,
- 38:12you're just so excited for
- 38:13them and you don't want
- 38:14anything to block that from continuing.
- 38:20But yeah.
- 38:25And on a bonus, she's doing so well,
- 38:27like she is taking herself
- 38:29off our car insurance.
- 38:30Oh, good.
- 38:32She's going to start paying
- 38:33for her phone bill.
- 38:34Part of our phone bill.
- 38:36Big girl stuff.
- 38:36That's awesome.
- 38:38That's awesome.
- 38:39My daughter texted me.
- 38:41She's been working at the rest.
- 38:43She works at a restaurant
- 38:43and she only gets like two
- 38:44shifts a week because she's in school.
- 38:46But now the school's over
- 38:47and all the other students
- 38:48that were working there
- 38:49have gone home for the summer.
- 38:50And she sort of still lives
- 38:52near campus anyway.
- 38:54She sent me a text,
- 38:55I think on Sunday night, maybe.
- 38:57And she said, mom,
- 38:58I made eighteen hundred
- 38:59dollars this week in tips.
- 39:01And I was like,
- 39:02Oh shit.
- 39:03Okay.
- 39:03You go.
- 39:05So she's going to have a
- 39:06really good summer.
- 39:07She keeps that up.
- 39:10Jay Birch.
- 39:10I have two thirty one year old girls.
- 39:12You will always have those
- 39:13same fatherly concerns.
- 39:18Thanks for letting me know that Jay Birch.
- 39:22Jay Birch has twin girls.
- 39:23That's cool.
- 39:27I want to know how Jay Birch is doing.
- 39:30They moved to be closer to
- 39:32one of his daughters and
- 39:34then his wife got called
- 39:35back into office and now
- 39:37they have to move back to
- 39:40where they lived before.
- 39:42Oh, that stinks.
- 39:43Yeah.
- 39:44And trust me, I'd live that life.
- 39:46I'm waiting for the call any
- 39:47day now to go back to the office.
- 39:51Yeah.
- 39:51I hate to rub it in,
- 39:52but I work for a company
- 39:53that will absolutely never
- 39:55have us back in.
- 39:56Yeah.
- 39:57which is amazing.
- 40:00I figure I got like eight or
- 40:01nine more years.
- 40:01I can do this for eight or
- 40:02nine more years and then just be done.
- 40:04But literally I think I could go anywhere.
- 40:09We're making it work.
- 40:13Crazy.
- 40:16That's not an unusual concept, right?
- 40:17To want to go where your kids are.
- 40:19to be closer to your kids
- 40:21right we've we've actually
- 40:23talked about like once we
- 40:25retired moving to my if
- 40:26she's going to stay in
- 40:27montana yeah like I have
- 40:29nothing holding me here in
- 40:30columbus right this is not
- 40:33where I grew up we might
- 40:35probably move out there with her yeah
- 40:46Yeah.
- 40:46I just, um, that concept, the, the,
- 40:49the concept of not agreeing
- 40:50with that doesn't make
- 40:51sense to me at all.
- 40:52I've been in,
- 40:52I've been with people before
- 40:54who thought I was
- 40:55absolutely crazy for wanting to, you know,
- 40:58see where my daughter landed,
- 40:59see where my son landed and
- 41:01go somewhere in between to
- 41:03be closer to them.
- 41:06Like, and to me,
- 41:06that seems completely reasonable.
- 41:08And to most of the people that I talked to,
- 41:10that seems completely reasonable.
- 41:11So I don't
- 41:19mean that's she's my family
- 41:21right we only have one kid
- 41:22yeah scott's having an
- 41:32asthma attack this
- 41:33cottonwood season has been
- 41:35so bad this year and it's
- 41:37supposed to rain and it'll
- 41:39knock it all down yeah and
- 41:41it's supposed to do that
- 41:41this afternoon I I'm
- 41:43looking forward to that
- 41:45Oh, I forgot to tell you.
- 41:46So I met this,
- 41:48we're at this place for
- 41:50dinner one night and this
- 41:52woman was sitting next to
- 41:53me and she got this
- 41:54beautiful lobster salad.
- 41:56Oh my God.
- 41:58It was like a lobster green goddess salad.
- 41:59It's a seafood place.
- 42:00We've got like stone crabs
- 42:01and a bunch of other seafood.
- 42:04Anyway, she was adorable,
- 42:05this cute little blonde.
- 42:06And then there was a seat in
- 42:08between her and then this
- 42:09young guy sitting next to
- 42:10her and he started chatting with her.
- 42:12He was very young, probably like,
- 42:16late twenties.
- 42:17And I pictured her to be
- 42:18probably like late thirties,
- 42:20early forties.
- 42:20And so they were chatting and he was,
- 42:22you know,
- 42:22you could just hear them sort of
- 42:24back and forth.
- 42:24I heard her say that she lived in Ohio,
- 42:26but that she's in Florida all the time.
- 42:28And he said that he was from California,
- 42:30but he had just moved to Florida.
- 42:31And so EJ and I are like listening,
- 42:34like part of the
- 42:35entertainment of us going
- 42:36out and like sitting at bars is to like
- 42:39watch other couples and try
- 42:40to figure out you know like
- 42:41what their dynamic is are
- 42:42they on a first date are
- 42:43they married do they hate
- 42:45each other do they like
- 42:46each other and all that
- 42:47kind of stuff so we love to
- 42:48people watch um and just
- 42:50observe and comment so
- 42:52we're listening to this
- 42:53woman talk to this guy and
- 42:54I'm next to the lady and
- 42:55I'm sort of looking over
- 42:56and thinking this guy's
- 42:58really cute and I'm like
- 42:59rooting for her I turned to
- 43:00ej and I was like you know
- 43:01what I'm like rooting for
- 43:02this to happen and uh
- 43:04So I think he got up,
- 43:06the guy she was talking to
- 43:07either got up or like
- 43:08stopped talking to her, got his food.
- 43:10And I turned to her and I was like, hey,
- 43:11I said, do you know that guy?
- 43:14You know, I said,
- 43:15are you here by yourself?
- 43:15And I just kind of struck up
- 43:16a conversation with her.
- 43:18Long story short, she's from Columbus.
- 43:21Right.
- 43:22She lives in some
- 43:23neighborhood that I had
- 43:23never heard of before
- 43:24because I'm like drop.
- 43:25I'm like, oh, do you live in Dublin?
- 43:27You know,
- 43:27like acting like I know all the
- 43:28suburbs of Ohio.
- 43:30But she's got two kids at Ohio State.
- 43:31She has another one that graduated.
- 43:33She was fifty two years old.
- 43:36And when I say I mean,
- 43:37I know you guys are so
- 43:38sweet and say that I don't
- 43:38look fifty two.
- 43:39She did not look fifty two whatsoever.
- 43:42She looked like a younger
- 43:46version of Kelsey Grammer's wife,
- 43:49Camille.
- 43:50kind of like the blonde,
- 43:52tiny little petite,
- 43:53but like cute little body.
- 43:55But she couldn't have looked
- 43:56a day over like thirty five.
- 43:58I swear to God,
- 43:59when I started talking to her,
- 44:00she was fifty two.
- 44:02And she was she was saying to me,
- 44:04she's like, he's too young.
- 44:05He's really cute and everything.
- 44:06But, you know, he's too young.
- 44:07He probably wants kids like
- 44:09it was the exact same thing
- 44:10that would be going through
- 44:10my mind when I if I was
- 44:12talking to someone like in
- 44:13their early forties.
- 44:15But this kid was like had
- 44:17couldn't have been thirty
- 44:17years old if he was a day old.
- 44:20I just thought it was cute.
- 44:26But yeah, floored me.
- 44:28Fifty-two.
- 44:28Crazy.
- 44:28It kind of goes back to what we said.
- 44:34Our bodies weren't geared to
- 44:37do all these things or
- 44:38doing it later in life.
- 44:40And everybody's looking
- 44:41younger because of it.
- 44:43Yeah.
- 44:43She looked amazing.
- 44:46Anyway, I wanted to stay.
- 44:47And then I remember we like
- 44:48left for the bathroom and I
- 44:49got a chance to say goodbye to her.
- 44:50And then EJ like whispered
- 44:51something in her ear when we left.
- 44:53He was like, good luck.
- 44:54We were,
- 44:55we so wanted them to get together.
- 44:56Now I can't, like,
- 44:57I don't know what's going to happen.
- 44:59I wish I knew.
- 45:00I wish I knew what suburb she was in.
- 45:02Right.
- 45:03If you name a couple, I would recognize it,
- 45:05but it was a name I'd never
- 45:05heard before that I
- 45:06probably couldn't spell.
- 45:11Hilliard.
- 45:12No, it wasn't Hilliard.
- 45:13Literally a word that I've never heard of.
- 45:15before.
- 45:16Well, what?
- 45:18Gahanna?
- 45:19Yes, it was that.
- 45:19Okay.
- 45:20Yeah.
- 45:21Yeah.
- 45:23Gahanna is right by Rogue.
- 45:27Oh, okay.
- 45:28See,
- 45:28if I'd known that I would have said
- 45:29something.
- 45:30She could have done CrossFit
- 45:30for all I know.
- 45:31I didn't get a chance to
- 45:32talk to her long enough.
- 45:32Rogue is just west in the city limits.
- 45:36And if you keep going out east,
- 45:38you'll run into Gahanna.
- 45:39Got it.
- 45:39Okay.
- 45:40Okay.
- 45:43I, sir, have to bail.
- 45:44I have a one o'clock meeting.
- 45:45It was a pleasure joining you.
- 45:46Thank you for your time.
- 45:48I have a meeting too.
- 45:50But just real quick,
- 45:50maybe our bodies were
- 45:52designed to live this long,
- 45:53but it took us this long to
- 45:54figure out how to do it.
- 45:56Perhaps.
- 45:57We're doing it.
- 45:58Yeah, there it is.
- 45:59We're doing it.
- 46:00Guys, this was fun.
- 46:01Thank you so much for all being here.
- 46:03And we'll see everybody
- 46:04tomorrow on Lunch with the Clydesdale.
- 46:06Bye, guys.
