0:09
SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
0:10
SPEAKER_00: Hi guys.
0:11
SPEAKER_00: Hi guys.
0:12
SPEAKER_00: I'm Jen.
0:13
SPEAKER_00: I'm Rachel.
0:14
SPEAKER_00: And this is so this happened.
0:16
SPEAKER_00: It's our first time recording just the two of us for season two.
0:20
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
0:20
SPEAKER_00: This is so exciting.
0:21
SPEAKER_00: It's nice.
0:22
SPEAKER_00: It is really nice.
0:23
SPEAKER_00: It's cool.
0:23
SPEAKER_00: We've had like this nice little night tonight.
0:26
SPEAKER_00: Rachel cooked for both of us and it was delicious.
0:29
SPEAKER_00: And she made us a little meat and cheese tray.
0:31
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
0:32
SPEAKER_00: Man, we have a lot to go over tonight.
0:33
SPEAKER_00: So yeah, we we're recapping some of our favorite season two moments tonight.
0:40
SPEAKER_00: Ready?
0:41
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
0:41
SPEAKER_00: We're only three episodes in, and we're like, we're let's do some recapping.
0:45
SPEAKER_00: But I will be breaking the fourth wall on something you've heard as a sponsor mentioned for weeks.
0:50
SPEAKER_00: We're finally cracking open some Vinzant wine tonight.
0:55
SPEAKER_00: Look at that, guys.
0:56
SPEAKER_00: The burger and the pizza BP burger pizza.
1:00
SPEAKER_00: And we can already tell you this pairs well with everything.
1:03
SPEAKER_00: Like with everything.
1:04
SPEAKER_00: Even itself.
1:05
SPEAKER_00: I think it's definitely my new cab sab, but we're gonna talk more about that here in a little while.
1:10
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so I would so by also, by the way, the Vinzant wine has been hanging out at my house for a month.
1:16
SPEAKER_01: Waiting for this moment.
1:18
SPEAKER_00: Waiting for this moment.
1:19
SPEAKER_00: We're finally, oh my gosh, we're finally there.
1:21
SPEAKER_00: But before that, we have our trend decoder.
1:24
SPEAKER_00: Oh gosh.
1:24
SPEAKER_00: Which we haven't done in forever.
1:26
SPEAKER_01: Well, we kind of think our people's first writer, are you jumping us right into it?
1:31
SPEAKER_00: Not quite yet.
1:32
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
1:32
SPEAKER_00: And then we have hits different.
1:34
SPEAKER_00: We're not gonna talk about the song.
1:35
SPEAKER_00: That's gonna be a fun little surprise.
1:37
SPEAKER_00: And then yeah.
1:39
SPEAKER_00: I was just like, I'm not ready in.
1:40
SPEAKER_00: Oh gee, you just wait.
1:42
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
1:42
SPEAKER_00: But first, like, look at this lovely merch that Rachel's wearing tonight.
1:46
SPEAKER_00: This is our uncorked and slightly unhinged line.
1:49
SPEAKER_00: As most of you know, 10% of the profits of this line goes to our lovely friends at Ballet Wichita.
1:57
SPEAKER_00: So go ahead and hit up our merch store and figure it out.
2:01
SPEAKER_00: We also have the pairs well with champagne and caviar bumps.
2:05
SPEAKER_00: Same thing.
2:05
SPEAKER_00: 10% of the profits goes to Ballet Wichita.
2:08
SPEAKER_00: We love them.
2:09
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
2:09
SPEAKER_00: Don't forget to follow, subscribe, review us wherever you get your podcasts.
2:14
SPEAKER_00: We want to hear your feedback.
2:15
SPEAKER_00: We want you to stay in touch with us and want to make sure that you're updated every time we drop a new episode.
2:21
SPEAKER_00: So yay! And then, of course, we can't start a trend decoder segment until we've mentioned our lovely sponsors.
2:30
SPEAKER_00: Woo! Yay! We love our sponsors, Vu events, color therapy, and backspace media, which is by the way, my own company.
2:38
SPEAKER_00: Get it, get it, get it.
2:39
SPEAKER_00: But we we we can't do anything until we make Rachel rack her brain.
2:44
SPEAKER_00: So happy Monday, Rachel.
2:45
SPEAKER_00: Happy Monday.
2:46
SPEAKER_00: It's time to do our first trend decoder segment of season two.
2:51
SPEAKER_00: All right, cheers.
2:52
SPEAKER_00: Cheers to that.
2:53
SPEAKER_00: I'm so excited.
2:54
SPEAKER_00: I feel like this is a good opener.
2:58
SPEAKER_00: So the way that this goes is I, you know, I am a lot more chronically online than than Rachel is.
3:05
SPEAKER_00: And because of the nature of my job as a social media manager and strategist, I am always I'm always in the know of the trends that are happening across social media platforms, like mostly Instagram and of course TikTok.
3:19
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
3:19
SPEAKER_00: Rachel is not as in tune to these because she doesn't have to be.
3:24
SPEAKER_00: Must be nice.
3:26
SPEAKER_00: So what happens is I tell her the title of the trend and she has to try to guess it.
3:32
SPEAKER_00: And I let her ramble for a little bit about it, and then sometimes awfully long.
3:38
SPEAKER_00: Sometimes awfully long.
3:39
SPEAKER_00: It's just like if she's cooking, she's cooking, and we're just gonna let it happen.
3:43
SPEAKER_01: And we'll see.
3:43
SPEAKER_01: Sometimes I come up with better ideas.
3:45
SPEAKER_00: Sometimes she does.
3:46
SPEAKER_00: That's definitely a historical event.
3:48
SPEAKER_00: No pressure, though.
3:49
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
3:50
SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
3:50
SPEAKER_00: Like, I feel like this week.
3:52
SPEAKER_00: I can't even see her phone.
3:54
SPEAKER_00: So she has a privacy screen on it.
3:56
SPEAKER_00: She's hiding things.
3:57
SPEAKER_00: By the way, if you're a content creator, never get a privacy screen.
4:00
SPEAKER_00: It's very worse.
4:03
SPEAKER_00: Okay, so the first trend is called How My Brain Sounds.
4:07
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
4:08
SPEAKER_00: This is exactly why I picked this one.
4:11
SPEAKER_00: How your brain sounds.
4:13
SPEAKER_01: How my brain sounds.
4:15
SPEAKER_01: Oh god.
4:16
SPEAKER_01: This could go so many directions.
4:19
SPEAKER_01: And I feel like that's I say that all the time.
4:22
SPEAKER_01: The first thing I thought of was just like when you go to an amusement park and in the background you hear is that how your brain sounds?
4:30
SPEAKER_01: Like people in the right sometimes.
4:31
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
4:32
SPEAKER_01: And then like, I don't know.
4:34
SPEAKER_01: I feel like this would be like a funny parent video, maybe of them like just like hearing things their kids are doing in the next room and being like, what's going on in there?
4:47
SPEAKER_01: I think that would be a really funny one.
4:49
SPEAKER_01: That would be really funny.
4:51
SPEAKER_01: Or I don't know, maybe like a pot of coffee brewing in the morning.
4:58
SPEAKER_01: Or the sound of a keyboard and a bunch of like if you're like a desk worker at work, like this is how my brain sounds.
5:06
SPEAKER_01: It's just the clickety clackety ever keys.
5:09
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but then I could also see it being some maybe something more funny, like somebody having a serious conversation with somebody.
5:20
SPEAKER_01: And then, but this is meanwhile, this is how my brain's sounding, and it's like, I don't know, like down to the sickness with the sickness or something in the background.
5:30
SPEAKER_01: You know, like you're just talking to somebody about all their frustrations with life or work, and you're just then in the background in your head, you're like, oh my god, yeah, I know that's crazy.
5:39
SPEAKER_00: But then in your head, you're like, oh, it's gonna be or something.
5:43
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, am I close?
5:45
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, actually, yeah.
5:46
SPEAKER_00: I am pretty damn close.
5:48
SPEAKER_00: I love it.
5:49
SPEAKER_00: You're starting off, you're starting off strong.
5:51
SPEAKER_00: So, yes, the format, a creators caption a trending audio with how my brain sounds, trying to juggle, blah, blah, blah, and a relatable task list tied to their niche.
6:01
SPEAKER_00: So how my brain sounds like trying to figure out a meta business way for me.
6:08
SPEAKER_01: You know, just kind of like hearing the dial-up noise in your brain while you're doing waking up on a Monday morning.
6:18
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
6:19
SPEAKER_00: You were so I I you know, honestly, so that's exactly on.
6:23
SPEAKER_00: No, but I feel like okay, so the total points you get per one is two, right?
6:27
SPEAKER_00: And so I feel like you got like a 1.5.
6:29
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
6:30
SPEAKER_00: I feel like your last guess definitely put you there.
6:33
SPEAKER_00: The last guess was the down with the sickness while you were doing other tests.
6:36
SPEAKER_00: But I feel like it's very, very similar to that, right?
6:41
SPEAKER_01: That was hilarious.
6:42
SPEAKER_01: That's good too.
6:43
SPEAKER_01: I love that so much.
6:43
SPEAKER_00: Like, what the hell is going on in there?
6:45
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
6:47
SPEAKER_00: So you have some good ideas.
6:49
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
6:50
SPEAKER_01: You did.
6:50
SPEAKER_01: I love it.
6:51
SPEAKER_01: Nice.
6:51
SPEAKER_01: That was fun.
6:52
SPEAKER_01: Those would be you could do anything with that one, really.
6:55
SPEAKER_00: Okay, so the next trend is called how to summon me.
7:01
SPEAKER_01: Oh, well, I could think of several ways to summon me.
7:06
SPEAKER_00: Well, what happens in the trend?
7:08
SPEAKER_01: Trying to think.
7:10
SPEAKER_01: Um how to summon me.
7:15
SPEAKER_01: My brain goes to thinking about like being handed a cup of coffee in the morning.
7:21
SPEAKER_01: Or like if you start the coffee in the morning and I hear the coffee pot and then I hear it go beep, or even just hearing it and smelling it, I'm gonna be like, okay.
7:29
SPEAKER_01: But then especially triple points if someone hands me that cup, but I'm alone most of the morning, so I'm but I'm still summoning myself.
7:37
SPEAKER_01: Or the coffee pot summoning me, you know.
7:41
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think that's the best, or like picking when you can pick your uh like a song for your alarm to wake you up to.
7:49
SPEAKER_01: That's always nice.
7:50
SPEAKER_01: I use I was last month I was using these really annoying alarm clocks, and then I found myself getting irritated in the morning and just shutting them off immediately and snoozing them.
7:58
SPEAKER_01: Even when I was like already kind of awake, I still was just frustrated.
8:01
SPEAKER_01: So then I was like, You're telling me to do something I don't want to get up because you told me you want me to get up with that annoying noise.
8:07
SPEAKER_01: It's terrible.
8:08
SPEAKER_01: So I set it to a more relaxing tone.
8:11
SPEAKER_01: Nice.
8:11
SPEAKER_01: And now I'm like, all right, fine, that sounds nice.
8:15
SPEAKER_01: I'll get up.
8:19
SPEAKER_01: So I feel like the coffee pot one would probably be the main way to summon me awake.
8:23
SPEAKER_01: Well, like, if it's like to get me to go out and you're like, oh, you're our favorite band's play.
8:30
SPEAKER_00: Or we get a free bottle of wine, but is this how to summon you?
8:38
SPEAKER_00: Ah, I'm here.
8:41
SPEAKER_01: Well, you came here, but the same thing, but yeah, in my clothes, you're dead on.
8:46
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
8:47
SPEAKER_00: You're a hundred percent.
8:47
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you picked some easy ones for me.
8:50
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, okay, you were dead on.
8:51
SPEAKER_00: Uh, with it, like even when you said even if they're holding it out to me, that's like double point.
8:57
SPEAKER_00: I was like, that's double point.
8:59
SPEAKER_00: All of the clips.
9:00
SPEAKER_00: She got the clips.
9:01
SPEAKER_00: I haven't even seen any of these, I swear.
9:04
SPEAKER_00: Well, you're maybe I think maybe you're because of this segment of the podcast, you might be becoming more social media minded.
9:13
SPEAKER_00: Which is that would be a thing to study.
9:15
SPEAKER_00: Perhaps.
9:16
SPEAKER_00: I think that's kind of exciting.
9:17
SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, I give you a two.
9:19
SPEAKER_00: So you literally got a 3.5 out of four today.
9:22
SPEAKER_00: What not?
9:23
SPEAKER_00: Did you go?
9:24
SPEAKER_01: That was amazing.
9:25
SPEAKER_01: You did so great.
9:26
SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, do we get another one?
9:27
SPEAKER_01: That was so easy.
9:28
SPEAKER_01: Usually I feel like we get into big tangents about it.
9:31
SPEAKER_00: I know, I know, but this is a good start.
9:34
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
9:34
SPEAKER_00: Um, the the cool thing is because they both relate to they both kind of relate to our themes today.
9:42
SPEAKER_00: So the how to summon us, I mean Vinzant wine, they were dead on wine.
9:47
SPEAKER_00: It's kind of our love language.
9:49
SPEAKER_00: So well done.
9:50
SPEAKER_00: Again, probably the best Cabernet Sauvignon I've ever had.
9:54
SPEAKER_00: I love this wine.
9:55
SPEAKER_00: This is fantastic.
9:56
SPEAKER_00: We'll talk more about it going in too.
9:58
SPEAKER_00: Um, and this is also not the only wine that they sent with us.
10:01
SPEAKER_00: They sent a rose too.
10:03
SPEAKER_00: I just forgot to chill it before the episode.
10:04
SPEAKER_00: So I guess we're gonna do two episodes drinking Vinzant wine.
10:08
SPEAKER_00: Oh, darn.
10:09
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, too bad.
10:11
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so and then also the This is how my brain sounds, trying to juggle everything.
10:15
SPEAKER_00: We are busy ladies, we wear lots of hats.
10:18
SPEAKER_00: And I thought, like, the the way that your brain went in so many different directions.
10:23
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, that is incredibly relatable, and I feel like that a lot of the time, especially the down with the sickness.
10:29
SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
10:30
SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
10:31
SPEAKER_01: You're right, I did.
10:32
SPEAKER_01: I gave an amusement park and a parenting and a metal music wallet work.
10:39
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, it it all works, variety, it all works, and I think it definitely covers all the bases of our lives for sure.
10:45
SPEAKER_01: We're well rounded, we're well rounded.
10:47
SPEAKER_01: Cheers to being well rounded.
10:50
SPEAKER_01: Well, well-rounded and brain-sounded.
10:52
SPEAKER_00: Well-rounded and brain-sounded.
10:54
SPEAKER_00: That's a t-shirt.
10:55
SPEAKER_00: That's not look at us collecting t-shirts already.
10:59
SPEAKER_00: Gosh, we've already like seasoned down.
11:02
SPEAKER_00: Right it please do.
11:04
SPEAKER_00: Well-rounded and brain-sounded.
11:06
SPEAKER_01: Sticky notes with me, folks.
11:08
SPEAKER_00: Well prepared.
11:09
SPEAKER_00: This is our girl.
11:09
SPEAKER_00: This is our well-prepared, always planning things out, girl.
11:13
SPEAKER_00: Okay, so we have had quite a season already, and this is only the fourth episode of season two.
11:21
SPEAKER_00: We have talked to Dr.
11:22
SPEAKER_00: Sharika Fisher.
11:23
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
11:24
SPEAKER_00: The fun blasted.
11:25
SPEAKER_00: Gosh, that was so much fun.
11:27
SPEAKER_00: And talk about wearing a lot of hats.
11:29
SPEAKER_00: That lady wears a lot of hats.
11:31
SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
11:33
SPEAKER_00: And the conversation that we had that day was so incredibly motivating.
11:38
SPEAKER_00: The bet the whole bet on yourself conversation is just so enlightening.
11:42
SPEAKER_01: I feel like it was very well timed too for just everything.
11:45
SPEAKER_01: Like us going to our new season.
11:47
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
11:47
SPEAKER_01: And I feel like with I know it's it's summertime now.
11:50
SPEAKER_01: Like, I feel like everything changes with each season, the summertime, the fall time.
11:55
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
11:55
SPEAKER_01: And I feel as though it's all like aligning well.
12:00
SPEAKER_00: I feel like it's very, yeah, it is aligning well.
12:02
SPEAKER_00: I love that word.
12:03
SPEAKER_00: Aligning.
12:05
SPEAKER_00: Okay, what you don't know.
12:07
SPEAKER_00: Okay, so one before we get into the funny Global Leadership Summit is this week.
12:13
SPEAKER_00: It's probably gonna be right around the time this episode actually airs.
12:18
SPEAKER_00: So, yay, if you're at Global Leadership Summit and you hear our episode, give us a little love in the comments because we want to know what you thought about the event.
12:26
SPEAKER_00: And did you get to meet Dr.
12:27
SPEAKER_00: Sharika Fisher and all of that jazz?
12:30
SPEAKER_00: Now let's talk about what happened after we recorded with Dr.
12:34
SPEAKER_00: Sharika Fisher because we turned that into a whole girls' night.
12:39
SPEAKER_00: It was so much fun.
12:40
SPEAKER_00: We ended up spending the whole evening with Dr.
12:43
SPEAKER_00: Sharika Fisher.
12:44
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
12:45
SPEAKER_00: In fact, we can probably just call her Sharika at this point.
12:48
SPEAKER_00: No disrespect.
12:49
SPEAKER_00: Didn't she oh to the Magnolias?
12:51
SPEAKER_00: That's right.
12:52
SPEAKER_00: We have our oh, we're the Lilies of Witchtop.
12:54
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's right.
12:55
SPEAKER_00: We have a group chat now.
12:57
SPEAKER_00: Girl, we closed down Mort.
12:59
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
13:00
SPEAKER_00: We just walked across from Greater Grounds across the park down.
13:05
SPEAKER_00: Grounds down.
13:05
SPEAKER_01: Oh, so hard.
13:06
SPEAKER_01: And then we closed down Mort.
13:08
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
13:09
SPEAKER_00: And had such a lovely time with her.
13:11
SPEAKER_00: She is fantastic.
13:13
SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
13:13
SPEAKER_00: We had we just continue to have great conversations all evening.
13:16
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
13:17
SPEAKER_01: And really like, really good conversations, really beneficial, I feel like, to all of us.
13:23
SPEAKER_01: Like I really enjoyed the energy with the women we surround ourselves with.
13:28
SPEAKER_01: We all pitch in to check in on each other.
13:31
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
13:32
SPEAKER_01: Even when it's a newer relationship like that.
13:34
SPEAKER_01: It's true.
13:35
SPEAKER_01: We found our web.
13:36
SPEAKER_01: We didn't.
13:37
SPEAKER_01: We're stuck in it.
13:40
SPEAKER_01: You know what we're saying?
13:43
SPEAKER_00: We're taking notes and we're remembering.
13:45
SPEAKER_01: And yeah.
13:47
SPEAKER_01: Kind of validating and supporting each other.
13:49
SPEAKER_01: And I think that's what you really need to find at any sort of network of friends or chosen family, chosen lilies, chosen people that you surround yourself with in your work life, in your entrepreneurial, especially, you know, when you're taking yourself and putting yourself out on a limb.
14:08
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
14:08
SPEAKER_01: You need to know that you've got the winds underneath you to keep that branch going.
14:13
SPEAKER_00: That's right.
14:13
SPEAKER_00: And the network.
14:14
SPEAKER_00: The network is so huge.
14:16
SPEAKER_00: Collaboration, empowerment, all of those things, they really factor in.
14:20
SPEAKER_00: Yes, me and my metaphors.
14:21
SPEAKER_00: That's what I meant.
14:23
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
14:24
SPEAKER_00: I love it.
14:26
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I just, man, I'm gonna have to text her tomorrow and say, hey, good luck this week.
14:32
SPEAKER_00: We're thinking of you.
14:33
SPEAKER_00: Oh, yes, we definitely should.
14:35
SPEAKER_00: Been seeing already some posts about the global leadership summit on LinkedIn and Instagram today from Wichita Life.
14:43
SPEAKER_00: So love that those guys are collaborating as well.
14:46
SPEAKER_00: So cool to see that.
14:47
SPEAKER_00: So I love our city so much.
14:49
SPEAKER_00: The web.
14:50
SPEAKER_00: The web.
14:50
SPEAKER_00: We're all stuck in it.
14:51
SPEAKER_00: We're never leaving.
14:52
SPEAKER_00: Because we love this place.
14:53
SPEAKER_00: Wichita Web.
14:55
SPEAKER_00: And then so we had our very first sip squad session.
14:59
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
15:00
SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
15:01
SPEAKER_00: What a night that was.
15:03
SPEAKER_01: With Estella with Bonita Design.
15:05
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
15:06
SPEAKER_00: So much fun.
15:07
SPEAKER_00: We love and oh my god.
15:08
SPEAKER_01: That went really well.
15:09
SPEAKER_01: We had some new faces show up.
15:12
SPEAKER_01: We did.
15:13
SPEAKER_00: Our wildflower girls.
15:14
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
15:15
SPEAKER_01: And we're just on it, we're we're making a garden.
15:17
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we are.
15:18
SPEAKER_01: We are making a garden.
15:20
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
15:21
SPEAKER_01: And I love that.
15:22
SPEAKER_01: I think that's great.
15:23
SPEAKER_01: They were like, we just felt like we come out because we wanted to get out of the house.
15:27
SPEAKER_01: We're just small business.
15:29
SPEAKER_01: And we were like, hell yeah, girl.
15:31
SPEAKER_01: Glad you came.
15:32
SPEAKER_01: Yes, yeah.
15:33
SPEAKER_01: I think they're originally from what, Louisiana?
15:35
SPEAKER_01: Oh shoot.
15:36
SPEAKER_01: I don't want to say wrong.
15:38
SPEAKER_01: I don't remember exactly.
15:39
SPEAKER_01: But she's been here a bit on top, at least surrounding the area.
15:43
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
15:43
SPEAKER_01: Um, but it was so nice to meet them.
15:45
SPEAKER_01: Definitely.
15:45
SPEAKER_01: So yeah, wildlife.
15:47
SPEAKER_01: See ya.
15:48
SPEAKER_01: And that was neat seeing new faces.
15:51
SPEAKER_00: It was so nice to learn so much about Stella's journey as well.
15:55
SPEAKER_00: There was a lot of things that I had no idea about.
15:58
SPEAKER_00: And so for her to break that down and just do some wonderful storytelling.
16:02
SPEAKER_01: I know.
16:03
SPEAKER_01: I feel like we could have kept going.
16:04
SPEAKER_01: We really could have kept going forever.
16:06
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we could have kept going on all night, but she I I'm really happy that she felt comfortable enough to share us all that with us and take the time to spend that time with us.
16:16
SPEAKER_01: And it seems like she's got a really great network and stuff behind her as well.
16:20
SPEAKER_01: She truly does, yeah.
16:21
SPEAKER_01: I love that when we all come together and share our networks with each other, like we just grow again away up.
16:27
SPEAKER_01: So season two is like starting with a bang with all this.
16:30
SPEAKER_01: It really is.
16:31
SPEAKER_01: I was like, oh no one's gonna show up.
16:33
SPEAKER_01: But like we did the couches.
16:36
SPEAKER_00: I know, I'm happy with that.
16:37
SPEAKER_00: And our lovely friends Michael and Michelle, thank you guys always so incredibly supportive.
16:42
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and asked amazing questions that helped help a lot with like at the end of that.
16:49
SPEAKER_01: The worst, the one thing you don't want at the end of a presentation or anything is questions and then just quirkettes.
16:56
SPEAKER_01: Nothing.
16:57
SPEAKER_01: I mean, maybe some people don't like questions, but I love questions.
16:59
SPEAKER_00: We love questions, we want to keep the conversation going.
17:02
SPEAKER_00: And our subsquad certainly did that.
17:04
SPEAKER_00: Yes, you guys stepped up.
17:06
SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much.
17:06
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you guys are always there to support us.
17:08
SPEAKER_01: We appreciate you.
17:09
SPEAKER_00: And then, of course, props to Tony, our hype guy.
17:11
SPEAKER_00: Oh, of course, for events.
17:13
SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
17:14
SPEAKER_00: Always showing up for us.
17:15
SPEAKER_00: Amazing.
17:16
SPEAKER_00: Helping us up our new mics.
17:18
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we have new mics.
17:19
SPEAKER_01: We've got new equipment, a new switchboard.
17:21
SPEAKER_01: We're figuring it all out.
17:22
SPEAKER_01: We're getting upgraded, guys.
17:24
SPEAKER_01: Yes, being so polished.
17:27
SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be cool.
17:28
SPEAKER_01: They look really nice.
17:29
SPEAKER_01: I really like them.
17:30
SPEAKER_01: They sound really good.
17:32
SPEAKER_00: Just wait till we slap our stickers on them.
17:35
SPEAKER_01: Oh doggedy diggity.
17:37
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
17:38
SPEAKER_00: I said that backwards.
17:40
SPEAKER_00: It's okay.
17:41
SPEAKER_01: I can say it however I want.
17:42
SPEAKER_01: That's right.
17:43
SPEAKER_00: It's our podcast, and we say what we want.
17:44
SPEAKER_01: Hot wiggity-whackity.
17:46
SPEAKER_00: Right.
17:47
SPEAKER_00: Wiggity wheity wiggly whack.
17:49
SPEAKER_00: Wiggity wiggity.
17:50
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
17:51
unknown: Okay.
17:51
SPEAKER_00: Next.
17:52
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
17:53
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
17:54
SPEAKER_00: And then of course, last week was.
17:57
SPEAKER_00: Never.
17:58
SPEAKER_00: Absolutely not.
18:01
SPEAKER_00: I don't think that's our area.
18:02
SPEAKER_01: Halloween idea.
18:04
SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
18:05
SPEAKER_00: No, that's a scary idea, truly.
18:07
SPEAKER_00: Jump suit.
18:09
SPEAKER_00: Actually, that'd be really cool.
18:12
SPEAKER_00: Sipsation.
18:13
SPEAKER_00: So okay.
18:15
SPEAKER_00: You're cut off.
18:16
SPEAKER_00: That's too good.
18:18
SPEAKER_00: On the first try, Rachel's Sipsation.
18:21
SPEAKER_00: That was actually conversations.
18:25
SPEAKER_00: What are we doing with this?
18:28
SPEAKER_00: I love it when the brains just go blah.
18:31
SPEAKER_00: That was the first time.
18:32
SPEAKER_00: That was too good.
18:33
SPEAKER_00: Sipsations.
18:34
SPEAKER_00: I fucking love it so much.
18:36
SPEAKER_01: We're gonna have to save it for jumpsuits because that's going that sparkles on my butt.
18:40
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so we're bedazzling some shit this week.
18:43
SPEAKER_01: Do you want your buttons to sip or sation?
18:45
SPEAKER_00: I don't care.
18:46
SPEAKER_00: I just want to make sure we do it because we have to now.
18:49
SPEAKER_00: It's on my head.
18:50
SPEAKER_00: We're gonna go to Rocky Horror in our Sipsations outfits.
18:54
SPEAKER_00: No, we're not.
18:54
SPEAKER_00: No.
18:55
SPEAKER_00: I mean, we should.
18:55
SPEAKER_00: Wrong vibe?
18:56
SPEAKER_00: No, probably not.
18:57
SPEAKER_01: Wrong vibe.
18:58
SPEAKER_01: Maybe if there's like an after party, we can have an outfit.
19:00
SPEAKER_01: Even with the sip Sations.
19:02
SPEAKER_00: Fuck.
19:03
SPEAKER_00: So good.
19:05
SPEAKER_00: I love this.
19:07
SPEAKER_00: Just wait.
19:08
SPEAKER_00: We're doing this.
19:08
SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be amazing.
19:10
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
19:10
SPEAKER_00: Okay, so that's an idea.
19:12
SPEAKER_00: I'll start writing songs.
19:13
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I can't.
19:15
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
19:16
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so now last week.
19:19
SPEAKER_00: Let's just wait.
19:20
SPEAKER_00: Last week we we had a lovely time speaking with Lind Lee Schmidt, COO of Tanganika.
19:28
SPEAKER_00: Holy cow! Okay, I didn't know that we were gonna cry.
19:32
SPEAKER_00: I did not do it, Jen.
19:34
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
19:35
SPEAKER_01: I sucked it back up into my eyeball.
19:37
SPEAKER_00: That was that was what a moment that was.
19:40
SPEAKER_01: I just I just feel so much for that because it's such an empowering moment that's so moving, and I can just picture how intense it was.
19:47
SPEAKER_01: It had to be.
19:48
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, what a day.
19:49
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, what a day.
19:51
SPEAKER_01: And what a leader.
19:52
SPEAKER_01: Because that's the way you have to be in those situations.
19:54
SPEAKER_01: I was like, I feel like I'm like that in those situations too.
19:58
SPEAKER_01: So I related very heavily to her too.
20:00
SPEAKER_01: Because like I, but maybe she doesn't even take a step back after that.
20:04
SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
20:04
SPEAKER_01: It sounded like it's after the fact, like, but even then, you she's probably still not ready to calm down from all that.
20:11
SPEAKER_01: Probably not you stay in that so long because you gotta stay with it on that adrenaline rush.
20:17
SPEAKER_01: You gotta stay locked in.
20:18
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
20:19
SPEAKER_00: Well, I feel like she and her team are doing such a great job.
20:22
SPEAKER_00: And now seeing Milani take to the bottle so well over the past week.
20:27
SPEAKER_00: I mean, she's just getting closer and closer to being able to get out with the herd and not by herself with the team anymore.
20:33
SPEAKER_01: And her yeah, I know and that's the main goal, you know.
20:36
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and then she's gonna be able to get their behaviors down, and yeah, that's really exciting.
20:41
SPEAKER_01: I love that we spoke about, I love that we gotta talk about there's just so many other animals there we didn't even get to talk about in an hour.
20:46
SPEAKER_01: Like, no, I could have kept talking to her for so long, and then like all the other aspects that just make her who she is.
20:53
SPEAKER_01: We just mostly covered we covered a lot, but we covered so much.
20:57
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, we didn't cover as it was a long episode.
21:00
SPEAKER_00: I know I feel like we could talk to her even her professional journey, we could have talked about for forever.
21:06
SPEAKER_00: I know I wanted to keep asking about it, but I was like, oh, like all the kangaroo stuff and yeah, the anteater stuff that like just all oh my gosh, we went all over the place.
21:15
SPEAKER_00: We talked about so many things.
21:17
SPEAKER_00: No, but we just like grazed the surface, you know.
21:19
SPEAKER_01: I really want to dive into her mind because she's like filled with knowledge, and I just would love to hear more.
21:25
SPEAKER_01: I'm so excited to get to have her in our network now.
21:28
SPEAKER_00: Yes, I am too.
21:29
SPEAKER_00: I think we're maybe that's just gonna be a thing that we do every season is just a little check-in with Tang and Tanganika because their team is fantastic, they've got a lot of exciting things going on there, and they've got some very real things going on behind the scenes too.
21:43
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so very cool to know.
21:46
SPEAKER_01: And it's awesome that they can maintain that visibility and structure, but then they also are handling their shit.
21:52
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they are like everywhere in the facility, and they're doing it like professionals, yeah, with a fantastic network behind them.
22:01
SPEAKER_00: Yes, so cool.
22:02
SPEAKER_00: That's so cool to see that.
22:04
SPEAKER_01: I love that too.
22:05
SPEAKER_01: Like that just like brings me such joy that.
22:07
SPEAKER_01: So many people care about wildlife so well.
22:10
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
22:10
SPEAKER_01: There's, you know, so many that don't do a good job out there.
22:15
SPEAKER_00: I know, I know.
22:16
SPEAKER_00: So that just warms my heart.
22:17
SPEAKER_00: It really does.
22:18
SPEAKER_00: Mine too.
22:19
SPEAKER_00: Uh yeah.
22:20
SPEAKER_00: Man, so it's been a season, and we also have already.
22:24
SPEAKER_00: Like we're having that yet, Jen.
22:26
SPEAKER_00: Girl, we have so much to look forward to.
22:29
SPEAKER_00: Do you guys understand that our podcast is scheduled out now through the end of September?
22:35
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I think bananas.
22:37
SPEAKER_01: We have people lined up.
22:39
SPEAKER_01: We haven't set a date yet.
22:40
SPEAKER_01: So it's honestly probably a body after September.
22:43
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
22:43
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
22:43
SPEAKER_00: Well, we have some things coming up in October, and we're going to talk about those here in a little bit.
22:48
SPEAKER_00: We also have some sponsors we're adding to our roster.
22:51
SPEAKER_00: So, of course, you know, we have our lovely friends at Vu events who are always here hanging out and supporting us in the best ways possible.
22:57
SPEAKER_00: We love you guys.
22:59
SPEAKER_00: We're also adding to the roster color therapy, our lovely friend Jennifer Schwartz.
23:04
SPEAKER_00: We love you.
23:04
SPEAKER_00: Our hair sponsor.
23:06
SPEAKER_00: She's keeping us trimmed and beautiful and our hairs colored the way they're supposed to and healthy and amazing.
23:14
SPEAKER_00: Go get your color therapy.
23:16
SPEAKER_00: That's right.
23:16
SPEAKER_00: Go get your color therapy.
23:17
SPEAKER_00: Go talk to Jennifer and tell her that we sent you.
23:20
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
23:21
SPEAKER_00: And yeah, so more on that soon.
23:23
SPEAKER_00: And so look for some of her little goodies around our live events.
23:27
SPEAKER_00: So if you come to our sip squad sessions, Jennifer's gonna be sprinkling out some little color therapy goodies.
23:33
SPEAKER_01: I'm excited.
23:34
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm excited too.
23:35
SPEAKER_01: I'm excited too.
23:36
SPEAKER_01: Then we'll get to see more of her.
23:37
SPEAKER_01: I love seeing Jennifer.
23:39
SPEAKER_00: No, she's all good vibes.
23:41
SPEAKER_01: I mean, yeah, she is.
23:42
SPEAKER_01: She's so good.
23:43
SPEAKER_01: And she's got so many different things going on as well.
23:47
SPEAKER_01: So if you want to find out more about her, too, come to our sip sessions.
23:51
SPEAKER_01: Ask her more, follow her, ask us more.
23:54
SPEAKER_01: We were oh, we'll talk all day about Jennifer.
23:57
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we love her.
23:58
SPEAKER_01: Honestly, we need another episode with her too.
24:00
SPEAKER_01: Oh, we will.
24:01
SPEAKER_01: That's happening.
24:01
SPEAKER_01: There's a lot of updates.
24:03
SPEAKER_01: Season two is coming.
24:04
SPEAKER_01: She agreed to it at our anniversary party.
24:06
SPEAKER_00: That's right.
24:06
SPEAKER_00: That's right.
24:07
SPEAKER_00: Which we need to start posting those clips.
24:09
SPEAKER_00: Man, we have so much content that's just sitting in my phone that we haven't even put out there yet, guys.
24:14
SPEAKER_00: Just really good stuff.
24:16
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
24:17
SPEAKER_00: But also, adding to this sponsor roster, I'm relaunching my company Backspace Media.
24:23
SPEAKER_00: And so yay, thank you so much.
24:25
SPEAKER_00: You get a different speed clap.
24:27
SPEAKER_00: I appreciate that.
24:28
SPEAKER_00: Uh, so I offer podcast consulting, personal branding consulting, a little bit of content creation, UGC type things.
24:37

SPEAKER_00: If you're interested in any of that, just reach out and I'll get in contact with you.
24:49
SPEAKER_00: And yeah, here we go.
24:51
SPEAKER_00: Fresh start.
24:52
SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be fun.
24:53
SPEAKER_00: Being in back backspace.
24:54
SPEAKER_00: Woo!
24:55
SPEAKER_01: Jin has a brain like no other, and I've always just loved the way that she can take something mundane, seeming, and turn it into something.
25:04
SPEAKER_01: It's not even mundane, it's always fun and great.
25:06
SPEAKER_01: But something that like if I took a picture of it, it would look just like meh.
25:10
SPEAKER_01: But when she does it, somehow, I don't know, we're turning it into something.
25:15
SPEAKER_01: Also, somehow she stayed updated with all of the different new tools that they do with different social media platforms and everything.
25:21
SPEAKER_01: And I don't know if this is necessary for you guys to know.
25:24
SPEAKER_01: I know you think I'm like not on social media that much.
25:27
SPEAKER_01: I have tried to do the thing.
25:29
SPEAKER_01: It's a beast.
25:30
SPEAKER_01: I can, I haven't put that many hours into it, honestly.
25:33
SPEAKER_01: But it's because this brilliant brain over here is a frickin' beast.
25:39
SPEAKER_01: And I don't know.
25:40
SPEAKER_01: A beast or a fiend?
25:42
SPEAKER_01: Either one.
25:43
SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
25:44
SPEAKER_01: It's a mixture, really.
25:46
SPEAKER_01: So it's a blessing and a curse.
25:49
SPEAKER_00: That is very true.
25:51
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
25:51
SPEAKER_00: Yes, indeed.
25:53
SPEAKER_00: But I appreciate that about you.
25:55
SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much.
25:57
SPEAKER_00: It's definitely a fun ride.
25:58
SPEAKER_00: But I, you know what, I just want to I want to share all of that with our with our community.
26:03
SPEAKER_00: I want to share it with our lovely city of Wichita.
26:05
SPEAKER_00: So if there's anyone out there needing those kinds of services, just reach out.
26:10
SPEAKER_00: I'd love to at least have a conversation with you.
26:13
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
26:13
SPEAKER_01: So yay! You guide them in the way that'll help them.
26:16
SPEAKER_00: Let's get creative.
26:18
SPEAKER_00: That's like my favorite thing to do.
26:19
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
26:20
SPEAKER_00: I love that you're open to ideas when I share them with you.
26:22
SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
26:23
SPEAKER_00: Ideas are the best.
26:26
SPEAKER_00: Speaking of ideas, we were approached in oh my gosh, I believe it was June ish or maybe the end of May, by this beautiful company called Vinzant Wines.
26:37
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
26:37
SPEAKER_00: Vinzant Wines, who our lovely wine sponsor for this episode, and of course, our next episode as well.
26:43
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
26:44
SPEAKER_00: Thank you for the delicious wine.
26:45
SPEAKER_00: It's so good.
26:46
SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
26:47
SPEAKER_00: I am not even kidding when I say my new favorite cab salve.
26:50
SPEAKER_00: This is okay.
26:51
SPEAKER_00: Here's the bottle.
26:53
SPEAKER_01: Again, yes, here it is.
26:54
SPEAKER_01: It's beef pea.
26:55
SPEAKER_01: I love it.
26:56
SPEAKER_01: Burgers and pizza.
26:58
SPEAKER_01: Burger up top, pizza at the bottom.
27:00
SPEAKER_01: And I bet it would taste so good with either.
27:02
SPEAKER_01: But it definitely tastes really good with the cheeses that we are eating.
27:07
SPEAKER_01: Read backwards.
27:08
SPEAKER_01: Just kidding.
27:09
SPEAKER_01: It's more of a big and bold.
27:10
SPEAKER_01: It's big and bold.
27:11
SPEAKER_01: It's got like a little bit to the end of the like to the beginning of the skill, tannin-wise.
27:16
SPEAKER_01: And it's not too acidic.
27:18
SPEAKER_01: It's like a really smooth, you guys.
27:21
SPEAKER_01: It's so good.
27:22
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
27:22
SPEAKER_01: And it's 15% alcohol.
27:24
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
27:25
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
27:25
SPEAKER_00: It's so good.
27:26
SPEAKER_01: It does not taste like it.
27:27
SPEAKER_01: It tastes like it's so smooth.
27:29
SPEAKER_00: And I love how on the back label it says wine paired with life.
27:32
SPEAKER_00: Because honestly, I said that's exactly what I hadn't even read that yet.
27:37
SPEAKER_00: And absolutely, wine.
27:38
SPEAKER_00: This can pair with everything.
27:40
SPEAKER_00: Can so good.
27:42
SPEAKER_00: It can.
27:42
SPEAKER_01: We're eating it with.
27:43
SPEAKER_01: I got a mixture of three different what is this?
27:46
SPEAKER_01: Salami.
27:46
SPEAKER_01: We have some salamis.
27:47
SPEAKER_01: So I got herb salami, pepper salami, and then just like normal salami.
27:51
SPEAKER_01: And then we got a grillier.
27:53
SPEAKER_01: And we got this amazing double-aged crunchy gouda.
27:57
SPEAKER_00: It's so good.
27:58
SPEAKER_00: It tastes.
27:58
SPEAKER_00: And you know us, we are suckers for a crunchy cheese.
28:01
SPEAKER_00: I love crunchy cheese.
28:01
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
28:05
SPEAKER_00: It's our favorite.
28:06
SPEAKER_01: Oh good.
28:06
SPEAKER_01: Oh god.
28:07
SPEAKER_01: And this cheese is so rich.
28:08
SPEAKER_01: You have to eat the tiniest little crew.
28:10
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
28:10
SPEAKER_01: It's like so creamy.
28:12
SPEAKER_01: I know we talked about it earlier in this episode, but delicious.
28:15
SPEAKER_01: I have to go back to it, and it's just delicious.
28:18
SPEAKER_01: Delicious.
28:19
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
28:20
SPEAKER_01: You guys have to try it.
28:21
SPEAKER_01: I got it at all.
28:22
SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.
28:23
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
28:23
SPEAKER_00: Aldi, but this one's like the Aldi charcuterie.
28:26
SPEAKER_00: It just sets it on fire.
28:29
SPEAKER_00: It really does.
28:30
SPEAKER_00: It pairs so well.
28:31
SPEAKER_00: And okay, now here's the thing.
28:33
SPEAKER_00: We drink a lot of cab salves.
28:35
SPEAKER_00: The two of us.
28:36
SPEAKER_00: And for us to say that this is one of our favorite ones ever, that's pretty dang big.
28:41
SPEAKER_01: It is, because I know you guys may have been seeing us doing a lot of like white wines and roses and stuff.
28:46
SPEAKER_01: It's summertime.
28:47
SPEAKER_01: It's hot as hell.
28:48
SPEAKER_01: Yep.
28:49
SPEAKER_01: And we've been out doing things out in public and we can't control their air conditioning systems.
28:55
SPEAKER_01: I think true.
28:55
SPEAKER_01: In my house, we can control my air conditioning system.
28:58
SPEAKER_01: So it's nice and chilly and red line.
29:00
SPEAKER_01: Also, this red pine is so smooth and not like it's not too much anything.
29:05
SPEAKER_01: I think it's the tannins that aren't too high that I've got to be.
29:07
SPEAKER_01: That's right.
29:08
SPEAKER_01: We did talk about that.
29:09
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they're like right a little right center.
29:12
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so I don't feel too like it's perfect.
29:14
SPEAKER_00: I love it.
29:15
SPEAKER_00: So I don't know if any of you what is the app that we use?
29:19
SPEAKER_01: Vivino?
29:19
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Vivino.
29:20
SPEAKER_01: So I do put it on there.
29:22
SPEAKER_01: Everyone rates it above a four that has rated it on there.
29:25
SPEAKER_01: And I don't know how many people rated it on there, but we rated it very high.
29:29
SPEAKER_00: Very, very high.
29:31
SPEAKER_00: Big fans of this wine.
29:33
SPEAKER_00: We also have uh they so when I went to visit them in Kansas City back on it, it was literally a month ago today.
29:41
SPEAKER_00: It was July 3rd, and today is August 3rd, our recording date.
29:45
SPEAKER_00: Perfect.
29:45
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so a month ago, this wine has been hanging out literally at my house for a month.
29:50
SPEAKER_00: But also, next episode, they sent me home with this cab salve, and they also sent me home with a rose.
29:55
SPEAKER_00: And it's cool because the rose was what I was sipping on when I was hanging out with them at Maid and KC on the plaza, which is where they have inside of Made and KC, they have uh just a whole wine setup in there where you can do tastings, you can just, you know, walk around the store with a glass of wine, you can do flights, you can do whatever you want.
30:17
SPEAKER_00: And ask for Daniel, he's the best, he's fantastic.
30:20
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, tell him so this happens, send you.
30:22
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and he'll be like, Oh yeah, I think I remember what that means.
30:26
SPEAKER_00: I hope he listens to the podcast, but I can't be sure.
30:30
SPEAKER_00: Um, but anyway, he was fantastic.
30:32
SPEAKER_01: You'll have to tag him on this.
30:34
SPEAKER_00: I don't know how to tag him, but I'll just make sure that Daniel.
30:37
SPEAKER_00: Daniel from Vincent Wines at Made and KC.
30:41
SPEAKER_01: Maybe be tagged Made and KC for sure.
30:43
SPEAKER_00: Also, by the way, that store is fantastic.
30:48
SPEAKER_00: There's everything in there, it's obviously it's local, like, and it's all made by some amazing maker in Kansas City.
30:56
SPEAKER_00: Like there's just little different booths, you know, it's very much it kind of reminds me of the workroom and the ballroom collective.
31:03
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
31:04
SPEAKER_00: And big ginormous fucking mixture.
31:06
SPEAKER_00: Well, you know, we love that.
31:07
SPEAKER_00: Bar at the back that's all local beers.
31:10
SPEAKER_00: Oh, they have a coffee shop that's local coffee.
31:13
SPEAKER_00: Like this place is okay.
31:14
SPEAKER_00: So the workroom, which we you know we love the workroom and bubbles and the ballroom collective.
31:20
SPEAKER_00: We love them so very much.
31:21
SPEAKER_00: And also, congrats to them for the upcoming opening of the Velvet Tiger.
31:25
SPEAKER_00: Woo! Woo woo! New bar.
31:27
SPEAKER_00: Yes, let's go.
31:28
SPEAKER_00: But Jesus Christ, this store made in KC is kind of like that, but on freaking steroids.
31:34
SPEAKER_00: Really?
31:34
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's insane.
31:36
SPEAKER_00: It's yeah, it's bigger.
31:38
SPEAKER_00: There's a lot.
31:39
SPEAKER_00: Well, I don't know.
31:39
SPEAKER_00: I no, no, no, no, no, vertically, probably not.
31:42
SPEAKER_00: Actually, if you think about all of it, it's probably about the same size.
31:46
SPEAKER_00: So there's more vertical, but less wide.
31:48
SPEAKER_00: So at workroom, there's two floors, but at Maiden KC, there's yeah.
31:53
SPEAKER_00: It's just bigger.
31:54
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
31:56
unknown: Yeah.
31:57
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, just just a little different.
31:59
SPEAKER_00: It's so it's base.
32:01
SPEAKER_00: I I guess it's the workroom of Kansas City, and it's located in the plaza.
32:05
SPEAKER_00: Beautiful, beautiful area.
32:06
SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh, if you know the plaza, but Vincent wines, go go by, tell them hi, and try some wines because you won't be sorry.
32:14
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
32:15
SPEAKER_00: And we'll be talking more about them in episode 55, which is next week.
32:20
SPEAKER_00: So, okay.
32:23
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
32:24
SPEAKER_00: So I received a text message from Brent.
32:27
SPEAKER_00: You know, our lovely friend Brent.
32:29
SPEAKER_00: Who?
32:29
SPEAKER_00: Brent McNulty of Ballet Wichita.
32:32
SPEAKER_00: You know, and he loves his caviar bumps, and we love his caviar bumps.
32:37
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we do.
32:40
SPEAKER_00: And so I got a text message from him letting me know that I had been voted in as a board member for Ballet Wichita.
32:49
SPEAKER_01: Yes! I don't know how I'm instinctively doing different spaced claps for you.
32:55
SPEAKER_00: I'm clapping.
32:56
SPEAKER_00: Because it's so exciting.
32:58
SPEAKER_00: I'm so excited.
32:59
SPEAKER_00: I love that this has happened.
33:00
SPEAKER_00: I feel like this has been kind of a full circle moment.
33:03
SPEAKER_00: I feel like didn't we know it was coming?
33:06
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we definitely knew it was coming.
33:08
SPEAKER_01: I mean, I did we already share it on the podcast or not?
33:11
SPEAKER_00: We may have breezed past it.
33:13
SPEAKER_00: I think you told me.
33:15
SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
33:16
SPEAKER_00: I can't.
33:17
SPEAKER_00: I think I found out either one or two weeks ago.
33:21
SPEAKER_00: You had to have told me.
33:22
SPEAKER_00: I definitely told you.
33:23
SPEAKER_00: Or I do.
33:24
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I've definitely told you.
33:25
SPEAKER_01: I knew.
33:26
SPEAKER_01: Brent told me before you knew that was.
33:29
SPEAKER_00: I just feel like this is like talk about alignment.
33:32
SPEAKER_00: This is such great alignment.
33:33
SPEAKER_00: We have some really exciting plans.
33:36
SPEAKER_00: They just relaunched, they just they just launched a brand new website, which by the way looks fantastic.
33:42
SPEAKER_00: They're they have a can an incredible lineup for the next season, starting with their spooky ballet, which is oh gosh, I'm so excited to.
33:52
SPEAKER_00: Okay, so the Spirit Bride is coming up October 9th and 10th.
33:56
SPEAKER_01: Spooky ballet, right?
33:57
SPEAKER_00: Spooky ballet, yes, that's right.
33:59
SPEAKER_00: That's and that's gonna be at Newman University.
34:03
SPEAKER_00: So very exciting for that.
34:04
SPEAKER_00: And of course, in December, 18th through 20th of December, uh, the Nutcracker.
34:10
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
34:10
SPEAKER_00: Woohoo! Flight is gonna be their spring performance at Doc.
34:16
SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be amazing.
34:17
SPEAKER_00: We love Doc King.
34:18
SPEAKER_00: We sure love Doc.
34:19
SPEAKER_00: And then their summer tour is the Ice Queen, so that'll be summer 2027.
34:24
SPEAKER_00: So they have a full lineup coming.
34:26
SPEAKER_00: We're so excited for this next season.
34:28
SPEAKER_00: I'm excited for the Ice Queen.
34:31
SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be really cool.
34:33
SPEAKER_00: Oh, it's gonna be really cool.
34:34
SPEAKER_00: Did Tim can't have it.
34:36
SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, no, no, no.
34:38
SPEAKER_00: We're we got this.
34:39
SPEAKER_00: It's you, it's you and me, Queen.
34:41
SPEAKER_00: We got this.
34:42
SPEAKER_00: Speaking of Queen.
34:45
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, okay.
34:46
SPEAKER_00: So, yay, for that, um, more on what I'll be doing with the board as soon as I know, because I don't know yet.
34:54
SPEAKER_00: As soon as we can release it, anyways.
34:56
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, as soon as Brent tells me what I'm doing, basically.
35:00
SPEAKER_00: And then, okay, so Rocky Horror.
35:05
SPEAKER_00: Surely you guys have seen the the buzz on social media.
35:11
SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, but not ballet, like they're going full force.
35:15
SPEAKER_00: Rocky horror music show, Rocky Horror music show, completely separate, completely separate from Ballet Witchtaw, although there are some affiliations with people that are also involved with Ballet Wichita, so that's the defining line there.
35:29
SPEAKER_00: This is the brainchild of Annika Wooten's husband, Jesse, and and Annika and our friend Brent McNulty.
35:37
SPEAKER_00: So hats off to all of them.
35:39
SPEAKER_00: Yes, and our friend Joseph Schumach is also working in the background of this.
35:44
SPEAKER_00: They also just recently announced their director.
35:48
SPEAKER_00: Let me go look who let me look.
35:50
SPEAKER_01: You'd know that they just loved doing Dracula so much that they had to do.
35:58
SPEAKER_01: One also loved it.
36:00
SPEAKER_01: The pre-dinner was awesome.
36:02
SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, it was fantastic.
36:04
SPEAKER_01: The show was awesome.
36:05
SPEAKER_01: And I know that that was separate, that was valid, but this is different.
36:09
SPEAKER_01: But I feel like there were some inspirational nerves that were set on fire there.
36:15
SPEAKER_00: Okay, so here's the here's the lore.
36:18
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
36:18
SPEAKER_00: So Annika and her husband Jesse, I like iconically and traditionally always dressed up when they went to go see Rocky Horror at Crown Uptown.
36:32
SPEAKER_00: Perfect.
36:32
SPEAKER_00: And so because that was not going to be a thing this year, and nobody else had decided to pick up Rocky Horror pictures, they decided, oh, why don't we just kind of do our own thing?
36:44
SPEAKER_00: And they're doing it.
36:45
SPEAKER_00: And so now here we are.
36:47
SPEAKER_00: They just recently announced Ryan Schaeffer as their director.
36:53
SPEAKER_00: And they're currently doing auditions for the show right now.
36:56
SPEAKER_00: There will be two weekends of production.
37:00
SPEAKER_00: There will be Halloween weekend with a Halloween night midnight production of Rocky Horror Picture Show.
37:07
SPEAKER_00: And then there, and then I I believe it's also the weekend before Halloween weekend that they're gonna be doing productions as well.
37:14
SPEAKER_00: So be on the lookout.
37:17
SPEAKER_00: Oh, we're coming in as a sponsor officially for Rocky Horror Picture Show.
37:21
SPEAKER_00: So and I did we mention that it's a dock hanger?
37:25
SPEAKER_00: I don't know if we mentioned that or not, but it's kind of a big deal.
37:28
SPEAKER_00: But yeah, you know we love that venue.
37:31
SPEAKER_00: So probably one of our favorite venues in Wichita.
37:34
SPEAKER_01: More to come on that as things transpire and grow.
37:38
SPEAKER_01: But I'm so proud of them for just being like, hey, no one else is gonna do this.
37:41
SPEAKER_01: Why not do it?
37:42
SPEAKER_01: And they have so much going on and they're always so busy, but they manage to make things that they love and appreciate it happen.
37:49
SPEAKER_01: Again, having that network really does make it happen.
37:53
SPEAKER_01: It really does.
37:54
SPEAKER_01: Not only, I mean, they honestly crush it.
37:58
SPEAKER_01: Everything that they did, they crushed.
37:59
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
38:00
SPEAKER_00: Like, not even a joke.
38:01
SPEAKER_01: I'm so proud of them.
38:02
SPEAKER_01: I'm so glad that they're in our city.
38:04
SPEAKER_01: I'm so glad that they are so blessed.
38:07
SPEAKER_00: Keep true to what they love.
38:08
SPEAKER_00: Did we love it?
38:10
SPEAKER_00: Did you know that Annika just got back?
38:13
SPEAKER_00: I don't even know if she's back yet, but she was on Sports Center in ESPN.
38:17
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
38:18
SPEAKER_00: I saw that, and she looks so good.
38:20
SPEAKER_00: She looks fantastic.
38:21
SPEAKER_00: She was the first to paint LeBron James in his new jersey.
38:25
SPEAKER_00: What in the world?
38:26
SPEAKER_00: Look at our girl go.
38:27
SPEAKER_01: Going on on his screen.
38:29
SPEAKER_00: Amazing.
38:30
SPEAKER_00: You're crushing it.
38:31
SPEAKER_00: Go, Annika.
38:31
SPEAKER_00: We love you.
38:32
SPEAKER_01: Don't even try to pretend you don't know it, girl.
38:35
SPEAKER_01: She knows.
38:36
SPEAKER_00: She has to know.
38:37
SPEAKER_00: Like we all know.
38:39
SPEAKER_00: Love it.
38:40
SPEAKER_01: That's so good.
38:41
SPEAKER_01: I love to see her smile and just get it.
38:43
SPEAKER_00: I know.
38:44
SPEAKER_00: She's fantastic.
38:45
SPEAKER_00: And the crazy thing about watching Annika Payne is like you just don't know what is happening until boom, it's in front of your eyes.
38:51
SPEAKER_00: Like it's crazy.
38:52
SPEAKER_00: She's just so she's so good.
38:55
SPEAKER_00: She's so good.
38:56
SPEAKER_01: There's so much beauty in there.
38:58
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
38:58
SPEAKER_00: So much beauty.
38:59
SPEAKER_00: She's I love it.
39:00
SPEAKER_00: Oh, she's got a system, it works.
39:02
SPEAKER_00: She's a professional.
39:03
SPEAKER_00: She's amazing.
39:04
SPEAKER_00: And I've been loving her social media content.
39:07
SPEAKER_01: Oh, yes, ever.
39:08
SPEAKER_01: Forever.
39:09
SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.
39:09
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
39:10
SPEAKER_01: And I can't wait to see what happens out of all this.
39:13
SPEAKER_01: It's gonna go, it's gonna go crazy.
39:15
SPEAKER_00: She's definitely on like kind of a flywheel situation, like a snowball effect.
39:19
SPEAKER_00: It's it's been really cool to see for her.
39:21
SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
39:22
SPEAKER_01: What a rock star.
39:23
SPEAKER_01: I know.
39:23
SPEAKER_01: Get it, girl.
39:24
SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.
39:26
SPEAKER_00: So we have a lot of things coming up.
39:28
SPEAKER_00: We also cryptically might be planning an event outside of our sip squad sessions.
39:36
SPEAKER_00: More to come on that.
39:37
SPEAKER_00: More to come on that, and just wait.
39:38
SPEAKER_00: We'll probably have something to report next week.
39:41
SPEAKER_00: So stay tuned.
39:42
SPEAKER_00: Well, we have a lot to look forward to this season.
39:44
SPEAKER_00: My gosh.
39:45
SPEAKER_00: All the Sip Squad sessions.
39:47
SPEAKER_00: So we have three official venues that have agreed to be our Sip Squad homes for we have Bubbles, as you know.
39:55
SPEAKER_00: Yep.
39:55
SPEAKER_00: We have Tour, which will be our first time at Tour on August 23rd.
40:01
SPEAKER_00: August 23rd, we'll be hosting Sophie Jones.
40:03
SPEAKER_00: Sophie has an incredible company called Jupiter House, and she is aligning businesses with marketing goals and things like that and doing some incredible work.
40:14
SPEAKER_00: She also represents me as my as my sort of agent for my content creation work locally here in Wichitash.
40:22
SPEAKER_00: She's getting brands for me to collaborate with, which I highly appreciate.
40:26
SPEAKER_00: And she started you off on fire.
40:28
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, she has.
40:29
SPEAKER_00: So my oh she has.
40:31
SPEAKER_00: So my collaboration with Iwear Junkies is incredible.
40:35
SPEAKER_00: And then I'm also now working with friendship lamps.
40:38
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
40:38
SPEAKER_00: Which has been pretty iconic.
40:40
SPEAKER_01: So stay tuned into her stuff coming up for those rates because they're so cute.
40:45
SPEAKER_01: The zip my lips.
40:47
SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
40:47
SPEAKER_00: We have some really cool.
40:48
SPEAKER_00: I don't want to, yeah, I don't want to release what I'm doing with her, especially with friendship lamps.
40:52
SPEAKER_00: The Iwear Junkies stuff is already out, but friendship lamps is gonna be pretty key.
40:56
SPEAKER_00: I know.
40:56
SPEAKER_00: I'm so excited.
40:57
SPEAKER_00: I know.
40:57
SPEAKER_00: I I know better.
41:00
SPEAKER_00: More to come on that.
41:01
SPEAKER_00: You'll probably know more next week.
41:03

SPEAKER_00: We'll be hosting Nikayla.
42:02
SPEAKER_00: She's got a really fun event called Tea Fest coming up pretty soon that you'll be able to attend for free at NAFSCA Park.
42:09
SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure on the date.
42:11
SPEAKER_00: I think it's September 30th or something like that.
42:13
SPEAKER_00: You'll know soon.
42:14
SPEAKER_00: So she's coming up in the guest queue and then Bridely Boutique.
42:18
SPEAKER_00: We will also be hosting here very soon as well.
42:21
SPEAKER_00: I believe she's either at the end of August or sometime in September.
42:25
SPEAKER_01: Yep.
42:25
SPEAKER_01: Well, she's coming up the next couple months.
42:27
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she is.
42:28
SPEAKER_01: We are so booked over out.
42:30
SPEAKER_01: Like we booked ahead.
42:31
SPEAKER_01: Like it's crazy, guys.
42:32
SPEAKER_01: So if you want to get on our schedule, you better reach out now and then we can probably try to figure something out.
42:37
SPEAKER_01: But we're pretty booked out.
42:38
SPEAKER_01: And then once it gets into the holiday, so we understand that everybody's busy.
42:41
SPEAKER_01: Um we're definitely gonna make sure to hit up our past season pop-ups or try to.
42:45
SPEAKER_01: Oh, of course we will.
42:46
SPEAKER_01: Love the pop-up season.
42:47
SPEAKER_01: Yay! So, like, we are gonna get really booked up.
42:51
SPEAKER_01: So definitely keep that in mind.
42:52
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
42:53
SPEAKER_01: Um, reach out to us.
42:55
SPEAKER_01: Also, just do that because we'll put we're already booking things for us for next year.
43:00
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we already are.
43:02
SPEAKER_00: We have plans, we already have plans for the week.
43:04
SPEAKER_00: We like to do all the fun things, we don't like to miss out.
43:07
SPEAKER_01: I mean, yeah, we just are like, well, we better put it down so that we can actually commit to doing this.
43:11
SPEAKER_00: Yep, it's true.
43:12
SPEAKER_00: So oh, we even have our very first podcast retreat already on the books for March.
43:18
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
43:18
SPEAKER_00: We staying at the Elms.
43:19
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
43:20
SPEAKER_00: So excited for that.
43:21
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
43:22
SPEAKER_00: But okay, so before we close out this lovely episode, we have one more thing that we need to talk about.
43:30
SPEAKER_00: All right.
43:31
SPEAKER_00: We need to go into our hits different segment.
43:34
SPEAKER_00: So this is a segment where I have assigned Rachel a Taylor Swift song, and most of the time she has not heard it before.
43:44
SPEAKER_00: This time she's kind of she's was kind of familiar with it.
43:47
SPEAKER_00: And then she will talk about what the song meant to her, and then I will talk about this what the song means to me.
43:52
SPEAKER_00: And the lore that you know about it.
43:55
SPEAKER_01: And the lore that I know about.
43:56
SPEAKER_01: I don't know any of the stuff behind the songs.
43:58
SPEAKER_00: A lot of the times, yes, I do know a lot of the lore behind it.
44:01
SPEAKER_00: And I do know a little lore about today's uh song.
44:04
SPEAKER_00: Okay, so today's song is anti hero from the midnight's episode.
44:07
SPEAKER_00: Album.
44:08
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
44:08
SPEAKER_00: Let's talk about it.
44:09
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
44:10
SPEAKER_01: So you just want me to start.
44:13
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so yeah.
44:14
SPEAKER_01: Was there anything that stood out to you specifically from anti hero?
44:18
SPEAKER_01: I get like a couple vibes.
44:20
SPEAKER_01: So really the main thing was the chorus, I guess you'd call it, that I mainly know, hi, it's me.
44:26
SPEAKER_01: I'm the villain, it's me, or whatever.
44:28
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
44:29
SPEAKER_01: That part was brutal.
44:31
SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry, Taylor.
44:32
SPEAKER_01: I did you wrong.
44:33
SPEAKER_01: But to me, it's like, is that you talking to yourself?
44:37
SPEAKER_01: Or is that I feel like it's with her, it's always a real like relationship thing.
44:42
SPEAKER_01: So I'm like, but then so I'm thinking maybe she's like when I really listened to the whole thing, it started making me feel about sorry, my brain is sprawling because I don't know how to talk about it.
44:55
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
44:55
SPEAKER_01: But I feel like it's you know how when guys like just make you go crazy, or like just like stop doing the things so that and start doing less and bad things that way you become the villain, that way you break up with them.
45:13
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
45:14
SPEAKER_01: So they make they make you the villain, and then they talk about it to their friends or their family.
45:21
SPEAKER_01: And then when she mentioned the golf thing, I was like, was she in like a stuck up family?
45:24
SPEAKER_01: And he was like talking to all of his family and friends, and at their tea time, there was a quote about that, like you know, everyone agrees at tea time, but I didn't know if she meant like golf tea time or like sipping British tea time, but either way, I was like, sounds like whenever you're yeah, spilling the tea that everyone's agreeing about it.
45:44
SPEAKER_01: So, like, you're making me the villain, even though you're the one that messed up, and that's why I left you.
45:50
SPEAKER_01: But it also makes me think it could go with girlfriends situation too.
45:54
SPEAKER_01: Like, oh, when you're sitting around the table spilling all your tea, you're making me the villain because you don't know my story.
46:01
SPEAKER_01: It must be exhausting for you to come up with all these stories.
46:04
SPEAKER_01: So I don't know.
46:05
SPEAKER_01: I feel like it could go like either way with relationships with a lot of her songs, like it could be boyfriend, girlfriend situation, and him making her the villain or sound like a brat or biotch, yeah, or it could be the same thing with girlfriends or like with followers or something like that, since she's famous.
46:27
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that was kind of my interpretation of it.
46:29
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but then she was like when she says the whole mirror thing about what'd she say?
46:35
SPEAKER_01: I can't like it.
46:35
SPEAKER_00: I stare directly at the sun, but can't but never in the mirror, yeah.
46:39
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and that maybe is because she's like trying to blind herself from what others are seeing her as.
46:46
SPEAKER_01: Oh, I love that.
46:48
SPEAKER_01: Is what I kind of took it as.
46:49
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
46:50
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
46:51
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I feel like you really hit on a lot of points there that there's been fire people doing that every night.
46:59
SPEAKER_01: People random kids, I but it's only like one or two.
47:02
SPEAKER_01: So I'm almost like, is there just a monster that farts?
47:05
SPEAKER_01: Once a night, every night, what time is it?
47:06
SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna start talking about it's like 10.
47:09
SPEAKER_01: I don't know what it is.
47:11
SPEAKER_00: Just one kids kidding.
47:13
SPEAKER_00: I guess it's summer.
47:15
SPEAKER_00: That's true.
47:16
SPEAKER_00: So he then saying, I am that person.
47:22
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
47:24
SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, Annie Hero.
47:27
SPEAKER_00: Gosh, I remember when this album came out.
47:29
SPEAKER_00: I was I love this album.
47:31
SPEAKER_00: And so what she's tapping into, according to the lore, is she's tapping into those internal thoughts and anxiety and the not fitting in.
47:43
SPEAKER_00: Like, she is so incredibly famous that she can't feel normal in normal gatherings.
47:48
SPEAKER_00: Okay, yeah, I kind of thought that too.
47:50
SPEAKER_00: Like, she's like, feels like everyone's judging her.
47:52
SPEAKER_00: She feels like everyone's judging her.
47:54
SPEAKER_00: Maybe they are, maybe they aren't, but she's definitely inside inside her head about it.
47:59
SPEAKER_00: There's a lot of things that like in the there's a lot of talk about self-sabotage in it.
48:06
SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, I stare directly at the sun but never in the mirror.
48:09
SPEAKER_00: Like, sure, I'll like look at this all day long because even though I know it's bad at me, but I won't look at myself in the mirror and take in the honest truth, you know, uh-huh, that kind of thing.
48:18
SPEAKER_00: But honestly, with Taylor songs, the beauty of them is I feel like the cool thing about them is if you're going through something and the song speaks to you, then that's what it means to you.
48:32
SPEAKER_00: That's posing that's art.
48:33
SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
48:34
SPEAKER_00: It doesn't necessarily need to be what Taylor meant.
48:37
SPEAKER_01: And I feel like it it super makes sense when we both talk about it.
48:40
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
48:41
SPEAKER_01: I'm telling you all these different ways I'm thinking about it, and I'm probably thinking about it those ways because that's how I could relate it with my life.
48:47
SPEAKER_01: It's like if you and that's the main thing I think I was saying too.
48:50
SPEAKER_01: If you walk into like a situation where you're uncomfortable with people, oh yeah, how they feel about you.
48:54
SPEAKER_01: Like it's yeah, I did feel that sense of anxiety in her words.
48:58
SPEAKER_01: Like, there's this anxiety that comes with like, hi, it's me.
49:03
SPEAKER_01: I'm the villain, it's me.
49:04
SPEAKER_01: Like, even if you're not a villain, or even if you don't think that they hate you, like I still feel like that sometimes is a situation.
49:09
SPEAKER_01: Sometimes I feel like I feel awkward.
49:11
SPEAKER_01: I'm doing the best I can, so here I am.
49:13
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, this is me.
49:14
SPEAKER_01: I don't know how to talk to people.
49:15
SPEAKER_01: I sweat too much.
49:18
SPEAKER_01: I sweat too much.
49:19
SPEAKER_01: I talk too much, I sweat too much, I sometimes drink too much, sometimes I pee too much, not like in front of everybody.
49:26
SPEAKER_00: Or I say the weirdest things, like weirdest thing.
49:28
SPEAKER_01: Like what I just said.
49:29
SPEAKER_01: What I just said.
49:31
SPEAKER_00: But like I okay, so let's go back a few months ago in February.
49:35
SPEAKER_00: I went to the doctor and found out the weirdest thing about myself.
49:39
SPEAKER_00: And I'm pretty sure that we've talked about it on the podcast.
49:42
SPEAKER_00: The fact that I have social anxiety, and I had no idea until this year that I have social anxiety.
49:49
SPEAKER_01: You knew it just you didn't know because you didn't have the validation of somebody telling you you actually have these like so everyone has different reactions to social anxiety.
49:59
SPEAKER_00: I had no idea, like these internal thoughts that are ruminating and ruminating and ruminating and ruminating forever for the entire day before and in before a social event.
50:09
SPEAKER_00: If my mom comes to visit, the amount of intrusive thoughts that I have in inner dialogue that I have with myself that never actually come out in the conversations with my mother or with you know with co-workers, or even you know, sometimes like I'll have these conversations that I want to go over with the boys and I forget to ever do them, but just so convinced that like at tea time everyone agrees I'm the problem.
50:36
SPEAKER_00: I think we're still waiting to see just how much just enough is what is.
50:42
SPEAKER_01: Please do not test her because she will blow up your world because she has that's it.
50:48
SPEAKER_01: See that medieval laugh.
50:50
SPEAKER_01: That's my normal.
50:50
SPEAKER_01: I'm just kidding.
50:52
SPEAKER_01: Mine's pretty brutal too.
50:54
SPEAKER_01: Amazing.
50:56
SPEAKER_00: It's the stuff of witches.
50:59
SPEAKER_01: We all were before, anyways.
51:01
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, anxiety ruminates differently with all of us.
51:04
SPEAKER_01: I love that she portrayed it in a magical kind of like being like, yeah, a sassy way, like, yeah, it's me.
51:11
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
51:12
SPEAKER_00: Well, and I feel like for me, the ver the third verse was about the the daughter-in-law kills you for the money, and then she's like laughing, she's laughing at up at us from hell.
51:26
SPEAKER_00: That is like one of my favorite lines ever.
51:27
SPEAKER_00: But the funny thing about that is here's some more lore.
51:31
SPEAKER_00: That line is taken from Phoebe and Friends laughing up at us from hell.
51:35
SPEAKER_00: Love yeah, she was talking about Phoebe was talking about I think her grandma or something, yeah.
51:41
SPEAKER_00: And so that is a Phoebe Buffet line that she worked into anti-hero.
51:45
SPEAKER_00: That's cute, which I love so much because I love friends and I love Taylor's.
51:49
SPEAKER_01: And that means she kept it one school because she was thinking about it.
51:51
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
51:51
SPEAKER_00: Yep, that's good.
51:52
SPEAKER_00: It's so cool.
51:53
SPEAKER_01: So did you know there actually is this theory about Phoebe and Friends where the whole thing of friends was written from this perspective of Phoebe's imagination?
52:06
SPEAKER_01: Because if you've ever heard this, if you think about it, she's the outcast.
52:11
SPEAKER_01: There's no reason or way she would have met all these people.
52:14
SPEAKER_01: They're a lot of them.
52:16
SPEAKER_01: So incredibly true.
52:18
SPEAKER_01: She's this one that grew up with her parents committing suicide or whatever, and her never knowing her real dad.
52:26
SPEAKER_01: And stuff, and living in New York and the evil songs and singing songs outside this coffee shop, and then she has an evil twin, and then so her going inside and like making up all these friends that always are in the same space, always in the same place, always in the coffee shop.
52:42
SPEAKER_01: And they they go through all the details of it to say like what this theory of this is.
52:48
SPEAKER_01: I think that's honestly pretty freaking cool.
52:51
SPEAKER_01: I love that so much.
52:53
SPEAKER_01: I don't, I mean, it just now I'm gonna rewatch all of Friends and think about it in that perspective.
52:57
SPEAKER_01: Yes, I do.
52:58
SPEAKER_01: That's what I want to do, and so it's kind of neat that does Lisa Couture know about this?
53:03
SPEAKER_01: I don't know, I don't know, but I saw it.
53:06
SPEAKER_01: I think that is fascinating.
53:08
SPEAKER_01: And I was like, you know, that doesn't completely not track.
53:11
SPEAKER_01: But it's honestly tracked.
53:14
SPEAKER_01: But it's honestly very creative for someone that wrote a sitcom sort of situation.
53:18
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because that's such dark, dark comedy.
53:22
SPEAKER_01: I love it.
53:23
SPEAKER_01: That's what that time frame was good for was dark comedy and making it light.
53:28
SPEAKER_01: Yay! But that if that was the intention, then they fucking nailed making it light.
53:34
SPEAKER_01: It's so true.
53:35
SPEAKER_01: But an interesting perspective and way to think about Phoebe Buffet.
53:39
SPEAKER_00: Also an anti-hero.
53:40
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, kind of.
53:42
SPEAKER_00: I love that so much.
53:44
SPEAKER_00: My gosh, what an episode! Yeah, wow, we did it.
53:48
SPEAKER_00: We did episode 54 of So This Happened.
