- 0:00Speaker 1: Gold, gold and silver crash.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Last week, Silver had its largest crash is nineteen eighty
- 0:08Speaker 2: and went down thirty percent on Friday. Gold was down
- 0:11Speaker 2: fifteen percent one day. That was the largest drop in
- 0:15Speaker 2: forty years. And a lot of this is due to
- 0:17Speaker 2: the new FED chair. Allegedly some of it is due
- 0:19Speaker 2: to the new FED chair. Maybe they just use it
- 0:21Speaker 2: as an excuse to crash the market.
- 0:24Speaker 1: What about the new FED chair later?
- 0:26Speaker 2: But and he's he's interesting because it's like, you know
- 0:31Speaker 2: he you know he's married to.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Or tell you I thought that was fascinator Jane Lauder Hello,
- 0:39Speaker 3: generational wealth. May have heard of the last.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Name and her father, her father Ronald lawder mm hm.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Company that they own, it's called Estate Lauder. Perhaps you've
- 0:54Speaker 1: heard of it.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Ronald has happens to be one of Donald Trump's best friends,
- 0:58Speaker 2: and some contribute him to coming up with the idea
- 1:01Speaker 2: to take Greenland. Yep, they say that that was actually
- 1:05Speaker 2: his idea. So it's all in the family relationships. Once again,
- 1:10Speaker 2: power of relationships.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:12Speaker 2: The son in law, Donald Trump's best Friend's son in
- 1:15Speaker 2: law is now to feed chair. Interesting. Well, that goes
- 1:23Speaker 2: back to the price of goal. Right, So people that
- 1:27Speaker 2: it dropped because it's like, Okay, now we're going to
- 1:29Speaker 2: have a strong dollar because we have a new fed chare.
- 1:33Speaker 2: But I think that's just temporary, in my opinion, because
- 1:35Speaker 2: what's going to change. Nothing is really going to change.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Still going to be spending money, still going to have
- 1:40Speaker 2: a tremendous amount of debt, still having figured out how
- 1:45Speaker 2: to actually you know, raise taxes efficiently or cut spending efficiently.
- 1:53Speaker 2: So the overarching theme at least for goal that may
- 1:57Speaker 2: goal go up, I don't think anything changed. I just
- 2:00Speaker 2: think that it was just a short term and like
- 2:02Speaker 2: I said, some people have claimed some level of market
- 2:05Speaker 2: manipulation from some half, not us, the the big dogs
- 2:10Speaker 2: to actually liquid date and clothes. A lot of people
- 2:12Speaker 2: got squeezed out of positions, a lot of profit taken
- 2:15Speaker 2: when something happens that drastically, and you know, it went
- 2:18Speaker 2: up so far so it was it was bound to
- 2:20Speaker 2: come back down. But the overarching theme that made gold
- 2:26Speaker 2: go up, I don't think any anything has changed since then.
- 2:30Speaker 2: I think the confidence in the dollar is still low,
- 2:32Speaker 2: the debts still high, We're still going to be spending
- 2:34Speaker 2: a tremendous amount of money. I mean, I don't think
- 2:37Speaker 2: lowering interest rates just solves every single problem in the world.
- 2:40Speaker 1: No, yeah, I think you answered it. Yeah, I'll but
- 2:46Speaker 1: you I don't think anything.
- 2:47Speaker 4: The only thing that has changed is that people sold
- 2:49Speaker 4: to run up and decided, all right, this might be
- 2:51Speaker 4: a place to tay some profit. If we were talking
- 2:53Speaker 4: about the year end goal being fifty two hundred, fifty
- 2:57Speaker 4: hundred fifty fifty five hundred and two hundred and it's
- 3:01Speaker 4: January thirtieth, oh yeah, yea, yeah, yeah, we just take
- 3:04Speaker 4: a part and to the point where it ran so fast, right,
- 3:09Speaker 4: we saw new price targets. I saw a couple of
- 3:12Speaker 4: analysts had it at sixty three hundred.
- 3:15Speaker 1: It sounds good, Yeah, it sounds good. Yeah.
- 3:20Speaker 4: So you see these pressures about silver, same thing. The
- 3:24Speaker 4: story hasn't changed, and I think people need to understand
- 3:26Speaker 4: and I'm saying that right, like you can watch something
- 3:28Speaker 4: on a minute, you can watch it on an hourly,
- 3:30Speaker 4: you can watch them to day. Has the story changed
- 3:34Speaker 4: And if the story hasn't changed, then the investment is
- 3:36Speaker 4: going to be the same. Right, people are going to
- 3:38Speaker 4: take profit, that's part of it. In fact, people need
- 3:40Speaker 4: to take profit when you see an asset run like that,
- 3:43Speaker 4: what's your metrics for when you're going to take profit
- 3:45Speaker 4: or how long you're going to stay in the position.
- 3:47Speaker 1: And that's that's what we were seeing. The story has
- 3:50Speaker 1: not changed the government.
- 3:53Speaker 3: And even on stock side, considerable draw downs Oracle negative
- 3:56Speaker 3: forty nine, coin Based negative fifty five, The Limited negative
- 4:00Speaker 3: sixty five, Target negative forty two, Adobe negative fifty three,
- 4:03Speaker 3: Nike negative fifty two. So when you talk about sector rotation,
- 4:07Speaker 3: a thing that I hate for retail investors, but one
- 4:10Speaker 3: thing you do have to be mindful of is how
- 4:12Speaker 3: do you hedge if the market is falling apart? Gold
- 4:15Speaker 3: has been a pre eminent asset to investing in for
- 4:18Speaker 3: a long period of time.
- 4:20Speaker 1: I think we went up too fast.
- 4:22Speaker 3: There was some rumors, like you said, by others, of
- 4:24Speaker 3: market manipulation potentially and how far it felt like big
- 4:30Speaker 3: institutions need room in order to exit. Some positions got squeezed,
- 4:37Speaker 3: and here we are. I would like to reintergal at
- 4:40Speaker 3: forty two nineteen. If we get there in silver as
- 4:43Speaker 3: sixty three thirty three, do I think we'll go back
- 4:47Speaker 3: up to fifty two hundred, for sure. It's going to
- 4:50Speaker 3: take time. But if you missed this first run up
- 4:54Speaker 3: wait to get back in. And for those you've been
- 4:55Speaker 3: trade and go futures, great job, Like a lot of
- 4:57Speaker 3: you have made between ten and forty ran over.
- 5:00Speaker 1: The last month and a half.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Yeah, trading it, so stay locked in. But forty two
- 5:04Speaker 3: nineteen is an area that I like to load up
- 5:07Speaker 3: on gold and then silver sixty seven to thirty three.
- 5:10Speaker 4: I think people like they look at us themselves as
- 5:14Speaker 4: obviously retail investors, and sometimes you'll you'll see a position
- 5:17Speaker 4: running like, man, I missed it, and it keeps running, right,
- 5:20Speaker 4: But you gotta think there's institutional investors and hedge fund managers.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Who are in the same exact boat.
- 5:27Speaker 4: Absolutely, they're in the same exact boat with a lotwa capital.
- 5:30Speaker 4: And then like I missed that run, we you know,
- 5:33Speaker 4: I can't wait. We got to have a pullback for
- 5:35Speaker 4: us to get into that position in low and behold,
- 5:38Speaker 4: you'll see short sells and okay, here comes a new
- 5:41Speaker 4: opportunity for us to enter a position. You'll enter it
- 5:44Speaker 4: and you'll see it tick back up.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay.
- 5:48Speaker 2: The thing with gold is that over the last fifty years,
- 5:52Speaker 2: gold has increased twenty seven over the last fifty years, yep,
- 5:57Speaker 2: and the American dollar has dec the value of the
- 6:00Speaker 2: American dollar has decreased eighty five percent. So do do
- 6:05Speaker 2: with that information which you would like. But gold has
- 6:09Speaker 2: gone up twenty seven hundred percent over the last fifteen years,
- 6:12Speaker 2: fifty years, and the dollar has decreased in value eighty
- 6:15Speaker 2: five percent over the last fifty years. So if history
- 6:19Speaker 2: has any indication, there's no there's no need to panic
- 6:22Speaker 2: on the gold.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Side, oh for sure. Yeah.
- 6:24Speaker 3: And that won't reverse anytime soon.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Yeah, And that's and that's when we talk about long
- 6:29Speaker 4: term investment.
- 6:30Speaker 1: You know, you just keep it
