- 0:29[SPEAKER_00]: And here's your host, John Chapman.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_02]: What is going on, faithful?
- 0:36[SPEAKER_02]: It is absolutely incredible to be with everybody today.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_02]: It is Tuesday, which means it's the John and Wayne show Wayne.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_02]: Looking fresh as always, the re-box just takes me back to hack.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_02]: Just takes me back, how are we doing today?
- 0:50[SPEAKER_01]: We ain't we in camp deep right now bro.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_01]: We injury deep, but you can't do for it now.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_02]: You know, dude, I go back to the Reebok days and the apex days with George see for it.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, dude, that's just happiness.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: Reebok used to make the jerseys make big people feel good in jerseys.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_01]: And thank you for backing back to that.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and thank you came along and just, you know, you got to be super fit European cut.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
- 1:21[SPEAKER_01]: I missed the Reebok days.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_01]: Apex had the cool hats and a brand people don't remember.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_01]: Local athletic.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_01]: They had some dope hats to it.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, dude, that's a thing, you know, like I get Nike and I get fanatics and I get these things and like it's cool, but like do you needed the competition you needed the different teams trying to out, you know, there were some good times back then man now it's just everything the same everything's the same it's frustrating, but that's all right, but the hat takes me back to.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_02]: I miss the commercials.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_02]: All right, now today.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_02]: I'm pretty pumped about today because one the 49ers have a day off.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_02]: Thank God Theoretically nobody else could get injured so that that's good.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_02]: They need a break theoretically theoretically You mean I don't a football field.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_00]: How you get fired on your day off?
- 2:11[SPEAKER_01]: You'd be injured on your day off.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: They think you ever Jeff Wilson.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_01]: I think we'll see what Jeff was doing right up I've bro's getting up from a stool and tore pop as a killies man
- 2:21[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it is bad stuff, but like, it's good.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like camp has gone well.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_02]: I've really enjoyed my time there.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_02]: We have some of those takeaways, but there was an article that came out from the athletic.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_02]: They do this every year.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_02]: Mike Sandow, who I think is really, really, really good.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_02]: Where he interviewed over 30 head coaches, executives, offets, a defense of play callers, and they just ranked the quarterbacks.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_02]: And so like this is, you know, definitely one of the most shared stories you're in in your out.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_02]: So we're going to go through and kind of see where Brock landed, where we think he should be.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_02]: See if there's any other outliers that we kind of agree or disagree with.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_02]: Now he did improve from his 20, 25 standing.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_02]: So he jumped up considerably.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_02]: And then we're going to get into some camp notes and as always, man, appreciate everybody in
- 3:13[SPEAKER_02]: We we're going to get you covered.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_02]: So if you have questions on camp in one of our opinions, we're going to be giving those to you as well.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, look at Gaff.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_02]: I want to pair the retro rebrock high top so bad.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_02]: Those were awesome food.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, I love it.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_02]: What's up, John.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate you, man.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_02]: Folks.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_02]: George, what's good.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_02]: It's it's good coach, even though he came back from our man bill.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, dude, I'm the biggest George seafood fan out there.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_02]: I have no clue how this guy's not in the Hall of Fame.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_02]: You didn't win until he became the DC, then he comes to head coach, replacing Bill Wall still pulled in the Super Bowl.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_02]: I am a huge seafood guy.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a huge seafood guy.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, see for was the guy, man.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_01]: I know people like, oh, he inherited defense, he inherited the team.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but he kept him winning.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not an easy thing to do.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_01]: It's not an easy task.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: But see for it to me was a good coach.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, he did his due bid right here in San Francisco.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_02]: Now, all right.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_02]: Let's get to the quarterback rankings.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_02]: Here's how they do it.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_02]: They do four tiers and every single quarterback, they did 35.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm just going to probably this isn't the best way to do this, but I don't care.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to do it this way.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_02]: Here are the results.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_02]: There's four tiers, 35 quarterbacks.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_02]: Tier one, there's four quarterbacks, Mahomes, Josh Allen, Matt Stafford, Joe Burrow, Tier two is the largest tier, five through 17, and this is where Brock pretty falls.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_02]: He's tied 11th with Caleb Williams.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_02]: which I'm like, all right, like it's very easy to have the discussion way is is Brock pretty a top team quarterback and you're like, yeah, but then you start naming quarterbacks.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_02]: That's where it gets more difficult, right?
- 4:56[SPEAKER_02]: Because you're kind of in this new, there's just this glob of quarterbacks in that second tier.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_02]: So,
- 5:03[SPEAKER_02]: I went through the top four here's the second tier quarterbacks five Lamar jacks and there's no way in hell.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_02]: He's the second tier quarterback first off six Justin Herbert seven deck press got eight Drake may nine Jared golf 10 Jordan loved and tied it 11.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Brock party Caleb Williams finishing out tier two jaded Daniels 13 Baker may feel 14 tied with same Donald at 14 Trevor Lawrence 16 Jalen hurt 17
- 5:29[SPEAKER_02]: So Wayne, let's start with this.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_02]: What are your initial reactions to seeing Brock at 11?
- 5:36[SPEAKER_02]: And kind of the guys around him.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you gotta look at the guys ahead of him, right?
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 5:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like, for Brock to be 11, and then you look at Jordan Love, Jared Golf, and even Drake May, and Dak Prescott, in front of him.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: That's interesting to me.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's interesting to me.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_01]: You talking about a guy that took his team to 2 NSC championships and a Super Bowl.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: Ask me what Jordan love has done.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that was the one that stood out to me.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_02]: And I get why people love Jordan love so much.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_02]: The athleticism, the arm strength, like I get that the way you build it.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_02]: There is no way in the world.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_02]: I would take Jordan love over now.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_02]: And I get it because if you redrafted quarterbacks, let's say every single team was white, clean the roster, and you could draft Jordan love or Brock Perty, I do think more teams would draft Jordan love.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_02]: But,
- 6:40[SPEAKER_02]: based on what they have done, it's not even comparable.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_02]: It really, really isn't.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_02]: So like that's the thing, how do you look at this?
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm looking at this as far as how good they are and what they've done, what they've accomplished.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: I think you have to look at it in both ways.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: And Patrick Mahomes will always be number one to me until he retired, until somebody
- 7:09[SPEAKER_02]: And he already looks, you know, back from his, yeah, I've been reading it.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's crazy.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: He'll be back real quick.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_01]: Josh Allen, even Matthew Stafford and a tier and a tier one.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I put Lamar Jackson here one, and I'm taking that to the top of the road down to the top of tier two person.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_01]: Now I feel like you can have the conversation of just a Herbert Drake may see Drake the issue with Drake may for me is.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_01]: He has to be consistent.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_01]: He only gave us one good year.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_02]: So he would have to make higher.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_02]: I thought he would have been my MVP vote.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_01]: That's interesting that you say that when this guy only did it once in his career, right?
- 7:55[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: So like it had been different like and then there's no fault to him but he didn't do it as rookie year and it's sophomore year he took his teens to the Super Bowl.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: So I like I get it.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't put them into your one but I would like here's my together.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_02]: There's so many different ways you look at it.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_02]: I'm taking Drake May over all those guys ahead.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_02]: I'm taking Drake May over Dak Prescott.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_02]: I'm taking Drake May over Herbert.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, they're in that, they're in that tier.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_02]: That same, which quarterback would I select.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_02]: Grab it, so that's what I looked at it.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_01]: Parties should be in that tier, though.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_01]: Felt like parties should be in the tier of Herbert, Drake May.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: And then everybody else should be below.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like, even if you left Dak Prescott in there, like, Dak Prescott is a great quarterback.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_01]: But you can't talk about the do's statistically is probably the best quarterback here.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: He just can't win.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: The do's don't play.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: I fell in yards.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he just can't win a game, play off game.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: But,
- 9:06[SPEAKER_02]: I would have decked that high.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_02]: I'll be honest with you.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_02]: I think he is that good, but just he just whenever it's important can't just can't can't deliver.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if it's just him or the team or whatever, but whatever, he just can't do it from a quarterback perspective.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_01]: Now they can't let Mar Jackson.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_01]: So you can have that conversation.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_01]: You can be MVP all you want, but you can't deliver.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_01]: The only person that has delivered is Patrick Moe's.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_01]: Period.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_01]: And Matt is staffer, MVP Super Bowl champs.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: So, it's a tough man.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'm cool with Brock being that 11, but the fact that you got Jordan love and Jerry Golf ahead of him.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_02]: If you want to put Caleb Williams ahead of Brock, I get it.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_02]: I get it.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_02]: And they're tied.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_02]: Really?
- 10:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean Caleb, that ceiling is just the ceiling on Caleb Williams is insane.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not saying I would understand it.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: You know, like Brock has been consistent.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: at winning and getting his team into the playoffs and getting to a playoff game.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, championship game.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_02]: Like Brock has got more playoff wins than anybody on this list.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_02]: That isn't named Patrick Behomes.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_01]: That's crazy.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: And you got him 11.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_02]: Aaron Rodgers may be.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_01]: I wonder how many how many playoff roges is up there.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: You for sure, but.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, that's crazy to me man.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_01]: That's crazy to me.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's that's what I don't get why there's so much disrespect And if you're talking it's got to be because he was the last pick at a draft and he's just not built like somebody's other guys
- 10:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, if you're picking it up out of a lineup and they're all stand in next to each other Brock Bertie is the anomaly.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_02]: He's smaller than anybody on here not named Rice Young or Kyler Murray, but those guys were number one overall picks with cowwitsers and baseball like you know I mean like it's it's a I'm not saying Bryce Young has a howitzer, but There's a difference there.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: No, I get what you saying.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_01]: I do I do is it this tough
- 11:21[SPEAKER_01]: I like, I don't mind party being 11, if they were better, if they were three, four more quarterbacks that I feel like should be better than him, I, yeah, that's tough, man.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, right here from Scott, why is Jayden so low man, he got four injuries last year, struggled with the routine plays a little bit.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I think Baker may feel it should be hired in Caleb Williams.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like Baker and Brock are the same quarterback.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_02]: Baker was the FVP candidate through like 10 weeks of the season last year.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_01]: And then Andrew's came.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_02]: I can't believe that in resigning them.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_02]: I think the books are making some bad choices.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, they don't want to tidy money up probably into a quarterback, but hey, go books.
- 12:06[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_02]: We got a couple super chats here.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_02]: Shout out to Tommy, appreciate your man.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_02]: He says, Shenaid O'Connor Colby is not a starter.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_02]: I disagree strongly.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_02]: What are your thoughts on Connor Colby so far to start off, you know, training camp.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_02]: He's getting all the reps with the ones that nobody else is even close to competing.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think he's having a tremendous camp and year two, man, that and that's where it starts.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see him declining only getting better, only getting stronger, only getting more, you know, acclimated to this offensive line as far as the continuity.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_01]: You got Trent Williams, co-signing, you got Colt McKibitz, co-signing.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be tougher him to lose that spot.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to literally take an entry.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_01]: So at this point, he's going to be the starting left guard.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see a problem with it.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_01]: He came out of a good system.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_01]: Now he's got a year under his belt.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_01]: He's got some NFL body weight now added to muscle, all that good stuff.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_01]: And then there's another year in the, you know, in the forester system, right?
- 13:06[SPEAKER_01]: And so like,
- 13:08[SPEAKER_01]: If he's winning it now, I don't expect him.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_01]: I don't expect him to lose it.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'm okay with that, yo.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_01]: I felt like he was going to be that he was the steal with a draft and that draft.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_01]: He was a seven-frowl pick.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_02]: You said it right after the draft.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_01]: It should have been a good one.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_02]: He can start with one last year.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_01]: And he just started week three.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_01]: Go for me.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_01]: Wasn't good.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_01]: But I think having gotten that year under his belt and gaining the confidence.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_01]: Now he understands the NFL speed and things he needs to do.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_01]: I think kind of cool.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to be just fine.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_01]: That offensive line is going to be so good this year.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_01]: I got a good feeling about the offensive line.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_02]: Mine is first that first group has been awesome.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_02]: It's been really, really good consistently.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_02]: Now, as soon as any body is sub-doubt or whatever.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_02]: goes really bad, really, really quick.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_01]: So the key to not the key is to not sub, but we do understand you got to rotate guys in and out for health purposes and stuff like that.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_01]: So we get to the regular season man, Connor Colby, it's better to be a better be Trent Williams, Connor Colby, it's Jake Brando.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_01]: All right, and Dominic Pony, who I think is going to be the best offensive lineman this year, and then Colton McKervitz.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it's obviously says he's trolling with the super chat shocker that that is Tommy's leveling with shout out to Ben the power of the moment do that moment is strong.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_02]: You can see it from across everything I freaking love it.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_02]: What's up, Shane?
- 14:31[SPEAKER_02]: It coping becomes a long-term starter at left guard.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_02]: I say we trade all of our first second third round picks and load up on fifth six sevenths.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_02]: That's where the hits have been.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_02]: Hmm.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_02]: That's where they've been.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_01]: I don't agree with that because I'm a top 100 guy.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like the Niners, the talent is in the top 100.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_01]: The better talent is in the top 100.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, some players fall.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_01]: That is true.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, they do hit late in the rounds.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_01]: That is true.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_01]: But the top 100 picks, man, those are hard to come by.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_01]: I say hold on to those as much as you can.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_02]: Look at this.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_02]: What takes yawn?
- 15:07[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for the jewels.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, alert.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you and see.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_02]: No, it'sunk.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_02]: It'sunk.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_02]: It'sunk.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_02]: Previous man.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_02]: Right here Scott.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_02]: I grew up watching Montana.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_02]: We didn't have to rank older quarterback list.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_02]: You either led your team to a ring or you didn't I miss those days.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_02]: It wouldn't like that before Montana.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_02]: it was like that after Montana.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_02]: It's funny.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_02]: Like we are Jimmy Johnson days from 49ers kickoff, right?
- 15:38[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, that's 37 for those of you non-old hats.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_02]: Man, I went back through and watched like Jimmy Johnson played 16 seasons for the 49ers and played five playoff games.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_02]: I think you won like once.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_02]: Like a playoff game.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_02]: I am not talking about Super.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_02]: Like the 49ers
- 15:56[SPEAKER_02]: struggled, mightily as a franchise.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_02]: They were not a top to your franchise until wash, see for Montana.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_02]: All those guys showed up, Ronnie lot.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_02]: Then it changed.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_02]: It's so you are something until it changes.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_02]: Montana changed it, but 94 is a long
- 16:23[SPEAKER_02]: You know, Brock drove the field and scored on the chiefs to take the lead late in the Super Bowl.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_02]: Not once, not twice, three times in the fourth quarter and overtime.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_02]: Brock pretty walked on the field behind, walked off the field with the lead.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_02]: What and enough?
- 16:37[SPEAKER_02]: What and enough, patch my homes did four times, but like we talked about fourth quarter.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_02]: Come back and all that kind of stuff.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_02]: It takes the team.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_02]: It takes the team.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_02]: I struggle with the do you have a Super Bowl, that's all that matters, because if it is, then Trent Dilfer is better than Brock Perti, which I don't think anybody would ever, ever, ever understand.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_02]: And we can even go back to this.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_02]: Sam Donald got a ring.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_02]: He's 14th.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_02]: Like, are you taking Sam Donald over Josh Allen?
- 17:09[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not saying you're saying that.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_02]: Scott, sorry.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_01]: I get the Sam Donald.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_01]: I, he's right where he belongs.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you don't win that Super Bowl without their running backs, right?
- 17:22[SPEAKER_01]: They don't get there without their running backs.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, yeah, Sam, Sam Darno has a cannon of an arm and can push the ball down the football throw for sure.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, he's right where he belongs.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like Jaylin Hertz needs to be a little bit higher.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_01]: You went to a water person that puts their team on the back.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_01]: As a QB, that dude does it too.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like he should be up to your where deck press got is.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that press got could be a little bit lower.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_01]: Even Jerry golf could be a little bit lower.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_01]: Jordan loves to lead it lower.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_02]: I put golf lower, love lower.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_02]: I probably keep a press got where he is.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think Jr. and Hertz is better than deck press got.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I know them NFC East fans going to shred me for that, but it is.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's a better Aides a bit one.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_01]: He's a better athlete and might not admit a quarterback, but it gets you talk about Super Bowl performances.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_02]: You talk about Jalen Hertz two of the better Super Bowl performances of the past decade.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_01]: Come on.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_02]: Dak Prescott don't have that.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_02]: He's regular season only quarterback.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_02]: I want guys that can win when it matters.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_02]: Brock parties proven that.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_02]: And Holmes is proving that.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's my point.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's why I'm like what like 11 doesn't make sense.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_01]: But again, we don't know what this list is going off of.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_01]: Like, we don't know there what they're doing with that.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_01]: That's how I would do it.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_01]: Like.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_02]: And so the second tier quarterbacks, let me go to the definition of what they said this was so that I could be tier two quarterback carries his team sometimes handles pure passing situations and doses or has other dimensions that elevate him above tier three has a hole or two in his game.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_02]: That is the definition that my sandow went with tier two.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_01]: That makes sense.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_01]: There's times that we, there's times that Brock Perti.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_01]: Struggles.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, oh yeah.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_02]: It is struggles coming bunches, whether it's the Christmas game against the Ravens or the Seattle games or you know, whatever.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_02]: They come in bunches.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_02]: I just mentioned the same defensive coordinator in three games.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_02]: Scott, appreciate the super chat.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'm going to go hell and make Singe John why DACA is seven.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: Now makes sense.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't hear you read tier one, but now it makes sense.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_01]: Why deck is seven because he is the team gotcha like now.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_02]: Here's tier one definition.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_02]: It tells me how this applies to Perti carries his team each week.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_02]: The team wins because of him.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_02]: Expertly handles pure passing situation and no real holes in his games.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_01]: makes all the sense now.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_01]: Now I make sense.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_02]: The rubric.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_02]: We're educators.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't lead with the rubric.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_01]: So see when we were making up our own.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_01]: And so now I make sense by Drake May is there.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'll let's say Jared golf still should be lower.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like Jordan and let it make sense by Jordan and love is there.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_01]: Now.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_02]: And the votes that were cast for Brock party.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_02]: Brock party got one tier one vote.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_02]: One exact whatever play caller voted him number one overall our tier one quarterback 34 people voted them tier two 15 voted them tier three 15 voted tier three.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_02]: Damn, the hate is for real, man, but he bumped up in votes from last year and bumped up in rankings.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_02]: He was a tier two quarterback, but he moved, I think it was 14th last year.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_02]: He jumped to 11th, so he's ascending.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that that's kind of key, but to this is where it gets interesting.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_01]: See, I feel like Lamar should be map these staffer.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_01]: Cause map these staffer doesn't carry that team, he's just dead at the liver and man.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_01]: You take away his poop and the coolers and whatever.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_02]: Even core in the NFL, he's got to do it.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_02]: I'm saying to offensive money.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_01]: You think you take that away, then maybe.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_01]: No, Joe borrowed definitely carries.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_01]: That's
- 21:28[SPEAKER_02]: Do I like Chase Brown, but that will line, it's not great.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_01]: No, zero run game.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_01]: That, well, I've got to, I'm connecting it to the office of line, of course.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_01]: I do like Chase Brown, but they just can't run the ball.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_02]: And it's, I penalized these guys, though, because I penalized Joe Burrow, because Joe Burrow, Matt Stafford, had the best wide receiver core in the NFL.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_02]: Who is Josh Allen's wide receiver that you're like, oh, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not
- 21:58[SPEAKER_01]: Bro, once you read the definition, this list makes all the sense, especially one, and the reason why one makes sense is because I just think my home is the best quarterback in the league and on top of that, me and like you took a lot of his weapons away, you took away Hill, you took away this, you took away that, they don't have a run game much really either, but he figures it out.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_01]: Josh Allen carries the team.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_01]: Joe Burrow carries the team.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: The Marjacks
- 22:28[SPEAKER_02]: Because like, okay, back to my rubric, like what quarterback would I take?
- 22:33[SPEAKER_02]: I think Josh Allen's the best quarterback in the NFL.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm not taking over Patrick Mahomes because Patrick Mahomes just refuses to quit in the fourth quarter, and all that stuff, you don't have that with Josh Allen.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_02]: Like, but if you're asking me who the best most talented quarterback is, Josh Allen's one.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_01]: You think Josh Allen is more talented than Patrick Mahomes do?
- 22:51[SPEAKER_02]: I do.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_02]: I really do.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_01]: I don't.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_02]: But not what it matters most.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_01]: And it wouldn't matter both got okay as a runner.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_01]: Josh Allen might be a better God, you know, freaky patch of the home runs like a four eight.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_02]: He scoots like grandpa out there, but he's just He's so he's gumbi.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
- 23:11[SPEAKER_01]: It's like he's he's gumbi.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_02]: I get like Josh Allen throws the ball further Runs faster is bigger ways more stronger like every like yeah, but he's not better
- 23:26[SPEAKER_01]: The other things you say are right our correct archie take a Patrick homes because of the clutch factor the clutch gene what's the way I take clutch all the attributes any day and that's my friends while I like property.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like the intangibles like well oh well outweigh those physicals at some point.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_01]: He just
- 23:50[SPEAKER_01]: They're building man.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_01]: We're building here in San Francisco, you know, I mean, health is, uh, it went, if health is a little bit on our side, we're good.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_01]: Just a little bit.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_01]: We don't even need a full health.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_01]: We just need a little bit of health on our side.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_02]: Just a little bit.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_02]: Just a little bit.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_01]: Let's get a little bit, let's get a little little bump a little bump a little bit.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_02]: That the boat said your team in the NFL so far through Tradi campus.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_02]: It's not close.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_02]: It ain't close, bro.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_02]: It ain't close.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_02]: Um, now right here.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_02]: Scott W. Appreciate you man.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_02]: This super chat is coming in.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate your comments.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_02]: He's old hat man.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_02]: And I love this.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_02]: He said, San Francisco was a relevant until Eddie D. Yeah.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_02]: You know, we let I listed a bunch of names.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_02]: I left Eddie D off.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_02]: First class, baby, until he owned the team.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_02]: I miss Eddie D kicked out because of River Boat gambling.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_02]: Now, draft King sponsors the league.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there were some.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he was ahead of his time Scott love Eddie D man Eddie D was ahead of his time and now So I'll legal it's the weirdest thing I've ever seen in my life, but We haven't been I I will say this we haven't been the same Since the departure of Eddie D Just haven't been the same we haven't had the same
- 25:04[SPEAKER_01]: the vibe is different, the culture is different.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_01]: What Eddie D was doing for the players is different.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Jay York really needs to go and read the book on on his uncle, like read it.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he was into, I'm not saying Jay York is a bad owner, but I don't think he is either.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think he's the best owner.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_02]: He's not on the Hollywood.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think he's the best owner.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_01]: Certain things.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_02]: Untrapped for he agents every year.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_02]: He just won't spend.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_02]: He just won't like the 49ers.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_02]: I think we're 26th and untrapped for it.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_01]: If he just went and took one, like, red, the book of Eddie D. Man, Eddie D. cured Eddie D was about his money, don't get it twisted, but he cared about the players and their families and that made the players play differently.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_01]: It made the players show up differently.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not saying that, Jed doesn't do that, but something's got to give, man.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_01]: First thing, if I'm, if I'm Jay York, you know what I'm doing?
- 25:59[SPEAKER_02]: I'm moving the stadium.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_02]: That's the first thing I'm doing.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I don't understand the logistics of what why they moved other than the stadium was old money.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_02]: It's money.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_02]: He held all the counties, hostage against each other, and Jed Dork made money.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_02]: That was it.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't understand that.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_01]: as I'm growing up, I didn't understand.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, what?
- 26:22[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 26:23[SPEAKER_01]: Like, we're not even the San Francisco 49ers anymore.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_01]: We're like Santa Clara 49ers.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_01]: I refuse to say that.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know what I mean?
- 26:31[SPEAKER_01]: But that would be the San Francisco.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_01]: Number one.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_01]: Two.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_01]: Number two.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_01]: For higher.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_01]: find the best health fitness team you can't go get the people from the edge gym they're way better than our guys I can tell you that right now I look good okay I feel good look good and so go get those guys go get those people because I don't know what's going on our train staff and it's terrible.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the one year of 2023, when they were finally healthy, their first healthy year since they moved from candlestick to Santa Clara, by the way.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_02]: So like this injury, whatever has predated Kyle Shanahan, like they've been the most injured teams since they moved to Santa Clara, to say whatever reason.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_02]: They had one healthy year and it was 2023.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_02]: They just marched through the lead get to the Super Bowl Come up short, but then they lost their head You know, health and fitness guy to the Atlanta Hawks.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_02]: There's no way I'm letting that guy out of the building do ride a shit right in number You're not leaving and that's J. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E. E.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's, you changed the location of the stadium, which I get you can't do with all the funds and whatever else, but I'm gonna start that process.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_02]: That's number one, number two, health of fitness.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I will say this, we gotta talk about the positives of Jed York.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_02]: I love that he's just staying the hell out of Kyle Shattie and Wayne.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_02]: Kyle Shattie had to do with things.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_02]: Sure, sure.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_01]: I do like sure.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_01]: That's a good thing.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's a good thing.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I said that he has his, his is pros and cons.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_01]: And so,
- 28:03[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_01]: All I know is, I would like the energy and the synergy to be back right here.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like with all the injuries, we can't even really get fully excited.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_01]: You know, before the season, even before training can't be clicked off, I mean, I was, I had to say, boring injuries and every freaking show and comment and post.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_01]: And this is that.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_01]: And that because I know that's a big thing.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_01]: And if you ask what we're looking forward to going into this season,
- 28:31[SPEAKER_01]: no injuries.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_01]: It's almost impossible.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's just for some reason.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_01]: It just finds us.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_01]: And it beats them stupid ass soft tissue injuries on top of this.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_02]: Those are preventable by the way.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_02]: Those are preventable by the way.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_01]: Say again three times as a charm.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_01]: Those are preventable by the way.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, we used to have meetings all the time with our team like look, you pop your hamstring, your calf.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_02]: That's on you.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_02]: That means you're not hydrated.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_02]: You're not warmed up enough.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_02]: You're not in shape enough.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_02]: You're pushing your body harder than it's used to all those different things.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_02]: The Niners lead the NFL last year in hamstring calf strength.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_02]: And guess what?
- 29:09[SPEAKER_02]: Right on cue.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_02]: You don't change anything.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_02]: And they're right there again.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_02]: Scott right here again, man.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_02]: He's coming to clutch.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_02]: I appreciate you.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_02]: Scott, you were freaking what I was going to say.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_02]: uh... it just added context you know uh... old man take he says white clerk is buried on eddy ranch in montana that tells you everything you need to know fricking all i mean he cared about his players man casserole it's uh... life is all about relationships man
- 29:38[SPEAKER_02]: And take care, that was to say that said Eddie D. Apart first class, right?
- 29:42[SPEAKER_02]: Like, and I don't know how much of the, I think what was it, it was not Amazon, but one of the Tom Brady documentary, the four parts of greatness, which was incredible, this obviously.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_02]: AFC, AMC.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, just the way you treat people matters and you treat them with first class and all those things and man, I was watching money ball the other day whenever I was working on lead notes and like David's just the same.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_02]: We got to buy our own soda.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_02]: Let's see the stands out there.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_02]: Not say that's what Jed York does.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_02]: That's what they are on a cardinal still do.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_02]: They have to buy their own lunches.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_01]: That's crazy.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_01]: You can't feed your your your staff your players your
- 30:24[SPEAKER_01]: Peter, man.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's just food, food.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_01]: And anyway, Brock needs to be hired on that list, but I'm okay with him at 11, because I just feel like a lot of this stuff is fuel to fire.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_01]: You know, a lot of it's gonna push to drive.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't think Brock gives two flying, two fears, cares about this stuff.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, no, he's just, he's gonna go out there, Brock's job, is Brock's mentality I could tell right now is to make a play on every play, every snap.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's what, and I love it.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_02]: When I point at you, I want you to talk right.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, y'all can give me the answer.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_02]: What a point.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_02]: I have a good, like, I love that.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_02]: So here's my question for the chat and for you Wayne and I'm going to give you guys some time to answer this.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_02]: Brock pretty came in number 11.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_02]: Looking at this chart.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_02]: Where would you put Brock pretty what number ranked quarterback?
- 31:18[SPEAKER_02]: Would you put Brock at this list?
- 31:21[SPEAKER_02]: He's number 11.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_02]: Would you put him 10?
- 31:22[SPEAKER_02]: Are you cool with 11?
- 31:23[SPEAKER_02]: Would you move him up?
- 31:25[SPEAKER_02]: Whatever else.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_02]: I want everybody to kind of think about that throw that in the chat.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_02]: What number does Brock pretty fit for you?
- 31:31[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to get to all those answers right after this.

- 32:32[SPEAKER_02]: All right, Wayne.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_02]: I'm curious.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_02]: What, what number would you give Brock Perti?
- 32:40[SPEAKER_02]: based on like where would you have him.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_01]: He's currently number 11 where would he talk these 10 he's top 10 10 he shouldn't be out of the top 10.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_01]: Brock party's top 10 I feel like if you put your golf in front of Brock party I'm cool with that and I think the rest of the quarterbacks where they are I'm good but he's definitely should be in front of Jordan in love.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see how Jordan lovers in front of Brock party.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_01]: It just doesn't make
- 33:10[SPEAKER_01]: You what you've done for your team, like, come on, like, I don't know.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_02]: What have you done for me lately?
- 33:17[SPEAKER_02]: Didn't do it.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_02]: I'm moving Brock to nine.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_02]: I'm moving ahead of golf and love.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_01]: That's cool.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, top 10 for me.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_01]: I just think Brock should be a top 10 quarterback.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_02]: Going to chase you way higher.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think they understand that deck is the Dallas Cowboys.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_01]: I know they got weapons, but man of deck ain't there.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_02]: J says he's happy with 11 he's cool with that, but the 7-6 is kind of where everybody's at 5 is the highest I've seen what's up coin roll cracker, I said what would I love to mean 7-8-5 we got love off for 5 but yeah kind of that 6-7-8 range is what the chat's at 10-7 yeah I'm cool with all those
- 34:11[SPEAKER_02]: Like, and that's the thing, like, it's just such a cluster.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_02]: But I love this conversation because when people are like, oh, well, you shouldn't you fire a Kyle Shanahan or what?
- 34:20[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I'm always like, okay, well, who would you hire instead?
- 34:23[SPEAKER_02]: Or like, yeah, and so the thing I like about this is it gets the context and the situation and it's just like, okay, now let's start to put that.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_02]: I'd have them at nine, you'd have them top 10, the chat, you know, was putting, you know, kind of that six to 10 area.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm cool with all of that.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_02]: Um, yeah, Lamar Jackson is my biggest what the hell.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_02]: And dude's got two MVP's is not fifth.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_02]: He's not fifth.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_02]: He's third.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_02]: And it's now here's my next question.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_02]: And again, I'm going to homes because of the clutch factor.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_02]: But if you could have any quarterback.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_02]: Out of Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen, just those two to start your roster now, which quarterback would you take?
- 35:03[SPEAKER_02]: I want to see everybody throw this in the chat.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_02]: Just type in Josh Allen, just put Allen or Mahomes.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just curious because I am curious to see what they think, because like I do think Josh Allen has all of the tools except for that clutch factor.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: Mahomes is a magician and the dude, he fears it out.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't matter at this point three seconds left on the clock.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_01]: Mahomes is like Jordan.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_01]: He's let him take that final shot.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_01]: He's gonna find a way to score.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_01]: I love Josh Allen though, but I'll take him to Mahomes all day.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_01]: You guys can have your Allen.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_01]: Guess we'll be playing each other.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_01]: We'll win.
- 35:47[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, Alex is getting more votes.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_02]: See, I didn't think it was like a crazy take.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a crazy take.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: I just think the rock.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you're talking about I just think people don't really.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_01]: I do people.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_01]: I think the nine is fans hate my homes because he's beat.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I do it can't beat him.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: Join him.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_01]: Can be my homes.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_01]: Can you help us?
- 36:10[SPEAKER_02]: You're funny hurts my eyes.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_01]: He's running to make a play.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_01]: He's not running there to get away.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_02]: He's running there nothing around him.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_02]: He's got a better old line.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_01]: He's not as old as they got the same type of old thing.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_02]: He got a whole of favor.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_01]: Bro, that dude is 95 years old.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_01]: We're not going to have that he had Travis Kelsey.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_01]: Travis Kelsey was not the same Travis Kelsey.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_01]: Let's keep it a buck.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_02]: He's not the same but dude like he's still had an egg on a better run game.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_01]: I got James Cook.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, better old line better running back.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so when we talking about Look at though if Josh Allen played with Mahomes wide receiver at Andy Reed and Kelsey.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, I mentioned I'm glad that it wasn't just unanimous.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_02]: I was curious because I thought it would just be my homes, my homes, my homes, my homes, but it is closer to the homes with the 49er fan base to hate him.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_02]: Josh Allen has destroyed the 49ers every time we played.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_01]: Twice every time.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_02]: And you heard Kyle talking about that, he frees up Josh Allen.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_01]: That's what we want, Josh Allen, the Marjax and Petra Bones.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_01]: You put them together, you get trailands.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_02]: I've been to a lot of 49ers beat downs in my career.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_02]: That snow game up there was maybe the worst.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_02]: And again, I was at the Ravens five interception game.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_02]: I was at the Seattle Seahawks Playup low-out.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_02]: That snow game, I think the shorts ever to everybody injured, CMC goes down and you had short of macy goes down.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_02]: He had my home stolen touchdown passes to himself, lateral diving.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_02]: I got pelted with about 50 snowballs.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I just felt defeated.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that I felt like the team was defeated when they walked in there and they weren't ready for the snow.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_01]: They just weren't ready for that.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_01]: That's what it was.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_01]: They weren't ready.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_01]: And they played scared.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_01]: You played scared.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_01]: You things happened.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_01]: But I know James Cook had a day.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_01]: Know that.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_01]: You had a hundred yards touchdown run
- 38:39[SPEAKER_02]: I remember running and jumping and just not touching him.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_02]: That's whatever you human torpedoed, like you've got to hit your arms to his side.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_02]: He hit his own guy.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_02]: He didn't make contact with the ball carry.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_01]: He hit his own guy.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_01]: You know what else was the good again?
- 38:54[SPEAKER_01]: If out of in a day game, bro, in the cold snow.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_01]: I want to have a whole different dictionary of curse words.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_02]: It was a blast though, like it was, it was fun, man.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_02]: Like party next to Bill's mafia, we had a band play live music.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_02]: I met Doug Fludy, like it was a cool day.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_02]: It was a cool day and I don't know.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_02]: I will say this, Nick Sorenson, that game single handedly.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_02]: Like I never think Sorenson.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, Buffalo went extra offensive line in the entire second half and he stayed in nickel.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_02]: He never brought like he just stayed in nickel Like what are you doing?
- 39:35[SPEAKER_01]: Just smaller guys out there, man, and I just don't get it.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that's why he's trash So I know he's on a different team and think God he's he had to get out of here.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_01]: He had to
- 39:50[SPEAKER_01]: Because he has forever.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_01]: He had to get out of here.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_02]: He's the Cowboys special teams coach now.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_01]: Good.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_01]: We're going bus day tail.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_01]: I like this.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_01]: I like this kind of because I want to talk about this.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_02]: Let's take it.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_02]: Read it and take it.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_01]: 82 88.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_01]: Good numbers.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_01]: Is that John Taylor who knows 88?
- 40:11[SPEAKER_02]: Michael Irvin's the first one comes in.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's the first 88 that comes in my mind.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to come up with some 49 weeks.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I got to give me a second.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_02]: So you take the Herbert out the back with the 80s.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_01]: Explain why Herbert.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_01]: You know, why he hasn't done anything ever.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_01]: I think when John read, so initially if you were watching the show Dale, I was a little confused because again, I agree with you.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_01]: Then that means that Brock Party should be like six, seven, right?
- 40:45[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
- 40:46[SPEAKER_01]: But.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_01]: When John Rudd to here, Rubrik, we're talking about players that literally are the reason why like they're even in games, like the reason why they're competing, I'm sorry, man, Justin Herbert is that offense, and I know they're trying to build the run game, but that offense goes as far as Justin Herbert goes, and without Justin Herbert, I mean,
- 41:11[SPEAKER_01]: day would be terrible.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_01]: Justin Herbert can he's a good quarterback.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_01]: He's built like a great quarterback.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_01]: He's a great arm.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_01]: He's been deal with a lot of injuries because his offensive line has been hurt beat up and they've finally got a run game.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_01]: Justin Herbert's going to be probably a top quarterback this year.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I think with the exact sig coaches, they go back to like pedigree.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_02]: The two highest pedigree quarterbacks are Josh Allen, Justin Herbert, like you can't build them better.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_02]: You know, 65, 220 fast, take hits, laser arm, all those things, just married Madison Brewer.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_02]: I know it probably doesn't matter, but it matters, like the public image of this guy is everything.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_02]: And he protects the ball, like let the NFL in interception rate twice it is career already.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_02]: has not done anything in the playoffs.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_02]: So like whenever you throw that into the equation, that's where we as fans say like, well, you, you haven't done it when it matters.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, it's not a lot of these guys aren't.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of these guys, I mean, look, Josh Allen can't do it when it matters, but y'all love him.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_01]: Joe Burrow can't do it when it matters.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know why Joe Burrow is still tier one.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that great.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_02]: I do not have
- 42:32[SPEAKER_01]: like the quarterback like that that the prototypical stop quarterback tier one.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_01]: And either I'm with you.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_01]: The Marjax and can't get it done when it matters just in Herbert.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_01]: That press got I mean, not none of them can't the only one quarterback can get it done when it matters just my homes and staff for those of them guys.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_02]: Stafford did it once.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he did it early too when he first got there, right?
- 42:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's been different.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's been different, but he was every P last year.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_01]: So I get why he's number three and number two.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_02]: One of my vote, one of my vote, but that's okay.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_02]: Number 88, and I apologize.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_02]: One, you got to go with Los Gato's, Jake Thompson's right now out there, number 88.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_02]: Jake Thompson, Solomon, I cannot believe you go.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_02]: That didn't come to mind.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so much.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_02]: Jake Thompson, Mike.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_02]: Dick Wittner, Clyde Conner,
- 43:18[SPEAKER_02]: Mike Sharrard, I remember him.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_02]: Isaac Bruce for a little while, so there's some names out there.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_02]: There's some names out.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_02]: Brent Jones actually played jersey number 88 for a year before switching.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_02]: I don't remember that.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's which to 84 Garrett Celle, he was with this for a while.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, there's some studs out there for sure.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_02]: And so definitely not trying to bypass those and I apologize for not Freddy Solomon.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_02]: I should know right off the jump that dude, Freddy Solomon's the man.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_02]: Kimbro, thanks for the super chat.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_02]: I have to jump off great conversation.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_02]: Stay faithful.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_02]: Kimbro, you're the best man.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_02]: Just appreciate all you bring.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_02]: You are awesome.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_02]: Right here, list of best 49er fan streamers, Wayne has to be my number two behind Ronbo.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_02]: And just before my man genius, John.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, dude, I'll take Ronbo, Wayne, John Chan.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, legit, it's Ronbo, man.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_01]: He was, we should do a show this year.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know his timing.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_01]: I think he comes on so late.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be sleep dude.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_02]: I don't watch YouTube The only time I see a show is if I'm on Twitter, which I'm on their way too much and then I see somebody's live because of the Twitter app And I'll click on it and then I'll go come like I don't get on YouTube.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't like if I listen to a show I listen to a show on Spotify.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, yeah, I'm I'm I'm I'm all listen there more and more than a seeer
- 44:47[SPEAKER_02]: Because if I'm at my computer, I'm typing and I can't listen to a show while I'm doing research, but if I'm driving, working out, whatever, then I can listen to a show, but I don't watch it.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_02]: And so yeah, I don't know.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_01]: I don't remember when Rumble first started.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_01]: He brought me on.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_01]: Really.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, first started.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_01]: I remember this was like back in 2007.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_01]: Whenever we went to the Super Bowl that year.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_02]: No way.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_01]: I know he was like the first.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he was definitely definitely and it's so cool to watch how far he's growing.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's great.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_01]: Great guy.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_02]: I love that stuff, man.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_02]: It like I always think like it was just talked about Herbert.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_02]: Imagine if we were chargers fans, which I don't know if they exist, but like
- 45:33[SPEAKER_02]: Could you have this job if you're a chargers stream?
- 45:37[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure there's a chargers like podcast, but there's like 65 nine or podcast right let me just say this right there's no fan base created in the 49est families.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_01]: You guys are the best, we're a popularist, but we're the best fan base.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_01]: You guys are the best, and there's no fan base greater.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_01]: And because of that, that's why there's so many 49er content creators because we want to make sure that we're giving you stuff 24, 7 and around the clock.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_01]: And you guys receive it all, and I appreciate it, you know what I mean?
- 46:10[SPEAKER_01]: Whereas those other teams, no disrespect.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_01]: They got some really good content creators.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_01]: the fanbase isn't as great.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 46:21[SPEAKER_01]: So that their their their teams are in demand.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_01]: We're in demand.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_01]: That's tell you right now that nine is will always be in demand.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_01]: When loser draw.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_02]: And I think our fanbase is so spread apart.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_02]: One, there's the faithful from afar like people watching from Europe.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_02]: You know, Australia, Mexico.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't even get into that.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_02]: Because that was you and me, like you're from Connecticut.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_02]: I'm from Texas.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_02]: And so like I would go to these games by myself, these roadgames, whichever game was closest to Texas, I just show up on myself and I'd meet all these other guys is so whenever I started putting out the 49ers rush back in 2017 when we started a lot of my downloads were not from California because if you're in the Bay Area you listen to the radio that was kind of the thing so for a lot of nine or fans that were outside of California.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_02]: they went to Spotify Apple podcast the iHeart radio where like kind of first started that's where like a lot of my download started coming from now i'm in the bay area now it's kind of grown a little bit more but yeah this fanpage dude has just created a monster because they're the best
- 47:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yep, freaking awesome.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_02]: Right here, Dale 8288, John Taylor, Freddie Solomon, appreciate Super Chat.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_02]: Proct it loose the Super Bowl.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_02]: He left the field two times with the lead and once tied.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_02]: I added the once tied.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_02]: It broke played well enough to win that the defense fell apart in the fourth quarter.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just call this played a spade.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_01]: Look, Jake Moody lost Super Bowl.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_01]: And then defense lost Super Bowl said the end of the day.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_01]: That's what happened.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not blaming Brock for anything.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_01]: He did all he could do.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_01]: He got his team into position to win.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_01]: Jake Moody misses a field goal.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_01]: and we get to the team, we get to over time, Brock gets his team down there, we have some stupid ass penalty, whatever, we end up kicking the field, so kind of Jake Moody kind of recovers because we at least we take the lead over time, but we need to touch down, we got three, and then the defense just fell to shit.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_01]: At the end of the day, like I mean, you do lose Drake Greenwell, but at the end of the day, like it's just the weirdest, we're just me, or the weird, we have the weirdest luck too.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_01]: We get the bipolar fan base and the weirdest luck.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_01]: This is what it is.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_01]: This is what it is.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_01]: What else can it be?
- 48:55[SPEAKER_01]: The luck we couldn't, yo, it's just the luck was bad.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_01]: Bad luck, yeah.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_02]: Build a defense that will close out the Super Bowl.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's tough Jacob.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_01]: The Niners had that defense.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_01]: Let it's tough and I, all right, Jacob, you're right.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_01]: We do build the defense.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_01]: The issue is the attrition, the injuries.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_01]: The Drake Green Law injury didn't even happen on and the game.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_01]: It happened on the sideline coming back onto the field.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_01]: I saw you saw we saw a deflated group of men to where Brock had to put the team on his back.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_01]: but the defense was deflated.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_01]: There was nothing to every single play went at Warren Berks.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_02]: Back up who came in.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_02]: Every single run game, every single pass concept was just going right at that dude.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_02]: And it was the same thing they did to Quon Alexander the five years before in 2019.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_02]: Which was genius.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_01]: Same thing.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_01]: The game is what you do.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_01]: You have to modify your game plan.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_01]: You take advantage of the weakest link and they did it.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_01]: Now that's why on birx wasn't a starting linebacker and the league got abused, but you was drag Greenwall.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_01]: Look guys, I'm stuck on the luck.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_02]: It was bad in men.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_02]: We used to say this in coaching in our coaching room all the time, like dude so many things have to go right to win a state championship.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_02]: Like you have to have a great team, the ball has to bounce your way.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_02]: They fun with the ball seven times lost one throw a wonderful month lost once.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_01]: But he got in the way I mistake, right?
- 50:50[SPEAKER_01]: Chris, yeah, we get in the Peter Peter call, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get away,
- 51:12[SPEAKER_02]: Got to get back, but we got green law now.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_02]: Green law is healthy now.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_02]: Green law looks like green law now.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_01]: He's the brightest, the brightest spot on this team right now, which I needed to be.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_01]: I need a defense to be fired up.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_02]: I put out a tweet last night, and one of my comments was linebackers the strength of this team.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_02]: Warner and Green law have been consistently great,
- 51:37[SPEAKER_02]: definitely doing their job.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_02]: Like linebackers, the greatest position group on this roster top to bottom currently.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_02]: Nick Martin's playing up to speed, Tatum Betton with the backups.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_02]: Man, Garrett Wallow.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_02]: Garrett Wall has played some ball.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_01]: Bro, the line-backing course of strength of this deal is just the strongest room.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's incredible.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, what you have read Warner, who's the best line-backer period.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_02]: Nobody debates that anymore.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_02]: He's healthy.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_02]: He's definitely a top 10 guy.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but it's the other guys.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, look, Nick Martin is trending.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like you, you looks really good.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like you got these guys like being coached, I think, properly.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_01]: And it's crazy because we all thought Salah was going to be able to do
- 52:21[SPEAKER_01]: Great with this team, he got players that he wanted and he just didn't.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_01]: He just, it's like what you didn't do with gear.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't care.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_01]: And then you bring in a new guy and Raheem Morrison.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_01]: These players are fired up because they get to play reactive football.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_01]: Bump what I think and stuff, man.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_01]: Quit the process and go on to play the game.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_01]: You know how to play you've been playing all your life.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_02]: Make it look complex but simplify.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_02]: And if that's what Raheem specializes in.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_02]: make it look complex, but it's simple.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_02]: Whereas, you know, everything that Robert Solad did was make it look simple, but it plays complex.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_02]: And so we'll see on the back end, get some strong safety play.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_02]: I will say, you know, I just said, linebackers are strength of the team, safety is the weakness of the team.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_02]: And I know, giant brown made a couple of plays yesterday.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_02]: That dude had about five horrible plays yesterday.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_02]: We were to give him up at least three touchdowns.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_02]: At least you're getting some positive plays from him.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_02]: Marquis Seagull continues to be Marquis Seagull, where he should be all the time, so now make a place.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_02]: So like now, Ash and Davis has not looked apart at all.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_02]: And with Malick and stuff, it injured.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, dude, where is the answer coming from?
- 53:33[SPEAKER_02]: Are they just gonna ride with this safety room because that is the worst position on the team?
- 53:38[SPEAKER_02]: And I would argue tight in would probably be number two with George Kittle out, but the answer is gonna eventually show up.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, come midseason, they might have to make a move who knows if you're looking for that free safety.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think the Niners have that spot position like here on this roster.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_01]: They have guys that can play safety, but you're talking free safety, tell what guy what range, guy with speed, guy with hands, guy with recognition, guy with that could communicate.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_01]: That's tough.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I wanted...
- 54:12[SPEAKER_01]: How many times I got to put out these safety's that we should draft like every single year.
- 54:17[SPEAKER_01]: The bug car would have never do it.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_01]: Nice addition to this roster, but somehow he's on the sea hogs.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_02]: Price socket, 70's safety says Steven dude.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_02]: He's not running with the ones or two's at corner.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, you move J and Doug are over.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_02]: And I said when they drafted on my wish, they put him at edge.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_02]: He's finally there now and looks to the part.
- 54:36[SPEAKER_02]: Keep him there.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_02]: I don't mind moving Price socket to safety, because he's not getting reps at corner.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but it'll probably be a, make a mammostakes.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_01]: And then we'll be mad.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he just got, he just has the size.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a safety.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_01]: If you wanted a guy at size, he should have drafted the guy at size that could play the position and trade on training stukes.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_01]: Had an Arizona, but that's not what they would.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's not what we did.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_02]: They don't care about the safety position period period.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_01]: I think right now they don't, but I think Raheem Morris is going to change that depending on how long he stays here.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_02]: right.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_02]: I do like that.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_02]: I do like that.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_02]: Wayne, this has been awesome.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_02]: Go ahead.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_02]: I want you off.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_02]: It's out of here, by the way.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_01]: No, I like we should alternate.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 55:20[SPEAKER_01]: You know?
- 55:21[SPEAKER_01]: We, we are.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_01]: Look, I know that engines are here.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_01]: We get it.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_01]: We knew it.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_01]: We expected it.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 55:28[SPEAKER_01]: We were expecting it.
- 55:31[SPEAKER_01]: But we gotta stay and we gotta remain faithful and resilient, man.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_01]: And I can't wait to see this defense fly around and make plays and I can't wait to see what this offense looks like next week and our first preseason game on Thursday night.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm excited.
- 55:47[SPEAKER_01]: Super close.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_01]: I can't wait to pre-fill them.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was just me, bro.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_01]: I've never been more excited to watch film in my entire life and that's the most boring and shit to do.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_01]: But I've never been more excited.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_01]: John, I appreciate you.
