- 0:00Speaker 1: That was going on as Romeo and Thursday. Man, today
- 0:02Speaker 1: was a rough day. We got through a lot, so
- 0:04Speaker 1: check it out. So this was funny. And I don't know,
- 0:07Speaker 1: you guys are going to think I'm weird, but I
- 0:08Speaker 1: thought i'd tell you this story. Anyways, yesterday I was
- 0:10Speaker 1: coming out of the grocery store and I was walking
- 0:14Speaker 1: through the parking lot and I found some money. It
- 0:17Speaker 1: was five twenty dollars bills, and I, uh, so I
- 0:23Speaker 1: pick it up. I look at it at five twenty
- 0:26Speaker 1: dollar bills right, A hundred bucks right, So I take
- 0:28Speaker 1: forty and I dropped. I dropped the other sixty back
- 0:31Speaker 1: where I found it. Then I sticked the forty in
- 0:33Speaker 1: my pocket, dropped the sixty. As I'm walking away, somebody goes, oh,
- 0:36Speaker 1: excuse me, excuse me, he drops some money right there,
- 0:40Speaker 1: and I said no.
- 0:41Speaker 2: I said no, I just found it, and I.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Just took forty because you know, maybe somebody else will,
- 0:48Speaker 1: you know, it'll make their day to find, you know.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Sixty dollars or whatever.
- 0:52Speaker 1: And the dude who told me goes, oh, that's kind
- 0:54Speaker 1: of nice, and literally just walks right by the money
- 0:57Speaker 1: and leaves it there. I thought for sure he was
- 1:00Speaker 1: gonna pick it up. Nope, So we both just walked
- 1:03Speaker 1: to our cars and left. So I don't know if
- 1:05Speaker 1: anybody found uh, I don't know if anybody found the
- 1:08Speaker 1: sixty dollars. I don't even know maybe whose it was. Yeah,
- 1:14Speaker 1: So I guess that's kind of weird, right, But I
- 1:17Speaker 1: didn't I didn't need one hundred dollars. I mean, I mean,
- 1:20Speaker 1: I shouldn't say that everybody needs one hundred dollars, but
- 1:22Speaker 1: that could have made you know, I took forty because
- 1:25Speaker 1: that's what it cost.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Me in the grocery store.
- 1:27Speaker 1: I just figured, you know, God's hooking me up, and
- 1:30Speaker 1: somebody else could get hooked up with the other sixty,
- 1:32Speaker 1: or maybe the person who lost it will come back
- 1:34Speaker 1: and find it, you know. And that's funny, you know
- 1:38Speaker 1: what that that's twice yesterday. Yesterday I found money twice,
- 1:43Speaker 1: actually because I went to the golf course to hit
- 1:47Speaker 1: some balls at the range, and I had five dollars
- 1:51Speaker 1: in my pocket. I forgot about that I had five
- 1:54Speaker 1: dollars in my pocket, and when I went back to
- 1:56Speaker 1: my truck, there was five dollars sitting in the grass
- 1:58Speaker 1: behind my truck, and I go, oh, oh, shoot, I
- 2:00Speaker 1: must have dropped my five bucks that I had in
- 2:02Speaker 1: my pocket, because I've.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Been known to drop money, and.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Sure enough, nope, So I actually got twenty found twenty
- 2:10Speaker 1: five bucks yesterday, all right. And then the only reason
- 2:13Speaker 1: I picked up the five bucks is because I thought
- 2:14Speaker 1: I had already dropped it. So I just stuck in
- 2:17Speaker 1: my pocket. When I was driving home, I go, oh, wait,
- 2:19Speaker 1: I do have five bucks. So anyway, yeah, you ever
- 2:25Speaker 1: find what do you? What do you do when you
- 2:26Speaker 1: find something?
- 2:27Speaker 3: What?
- 2:28Speaker 4: Uh?
- 2:29Speaker 2: You just keep it? I mean, when's the last time
- 2:31Speaker 2: you found money? What happened? You're talking about finding money?
- 2:34Speaker 5: Right?
- 2:34Speaker 1: I found some money the other day and I just, uh,
- 2:37Speaker 1: I only kept part of it. It was five twenties. I
- 2:40Speaker 1: kept two twenties and left the rest. Somebody makes somebody
- 2:43Speaker 1: else's day, you know. Come on, what's going on?
- 2:46Speaker 6: Hey? What's up wrong?
- 2:47Speaker 1: Hey?
- 2:48Speaker 6: Hey? Bro? I was mowing a property and I saw
- 2:52Speaker 6: this lottery pick your room and almost ran it over
- 2:55Speaker 6: and I didn't. And it had two hundred dollars on
- 2:57Speaker 6: it rome on the ticket lottery ticket, so I casted it.
- 3:01Speaker 6: I can't I cast it in took my guys to
- 3:03Speaker 6: some nice lunch, you know, what I mean, like I
- 3:07Speaker 6: took care of them. There were three of us, you know,
- 3:11Speaker 6: I mean we played three ways, you know what I mean?
- 3:12Speaker 7: On food?
- 3:13Speaker 2: Yeah, that sounds right, that sounds like, yeah, what was left?
- 3:16Speaker 6: And what was left we got?
- 3:17Speaker 8: I think we got like two twelve.
- 3:18Speaker 6: Packs of this was This was quite a few years back.
- 3:20Speaker 6: It was like two or three twelve packs. And you
- 3:22Speaker 6: know what I mean.
- 3:23Speaker 9: I was like, cool, everybody good, it's Friday.
- 3:25Speaker 6: We just ate lunch for free. We got some friends
- 3:27Speaker 6: to go home with us. I mean, who am I
- 3:29Speaker 6: supposed to give.
- 3:30Speaker 4: It to Rome?
- 3:30Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 3:32Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 3:32Speaker 2: I don't know what people do when they find money.
- 3:34Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, I don't know.
- 3:36Speaker 6: But but there is a company that I know they
- 3:38Speaker 6: donate a lot of like money and stuff like that.
- 3:40Speaker 6: And you know what I mean, it's a big property
- 3:41Speaker 6: that I do. And when I do fight money there,
- 3:44Speaker 6: I take it to the lady at the front desk
- 3:45Speaker 6: and she donates to.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Do whatever whatever they're doing.
- 3:48Speaker 8: That's good, you know what I mean. So but if
- 3:50Speaker 8: I find it out.
- 3:51Speaker 6: On the street, room, I ain't knocking on nobody's door,
- 3:53Speaker 6: you know.
- 3:54Speaker 2: What I mean, Like, no I would either, and.
- 3:57Speaker 8: I ain't ask nobody walking by either less we're looking
- 3:59Speaker 8: for talking.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Right, I'm not. I mean, if I'm finding money on
- 4:05Speaker 2: the street, I'm taking a piece. You know, I'm not
- 4:07Speaker 2: taking all of it.
- 4:08Speaker 1: I mean, I don't you know somebody else could have this.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Somebody else might find it make that might make their day.
- 4:14Speaker 1: They might actually really need it, you know what I'm saying.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Unless I find like one hundred grand, I mean, and
- 4:23Speaker 1: then nobody anybody's picking them one hundred grand they find
- 4:25Speaker 1: on the street, better reevaluate how much longer they're gonna live.
- 4:29Speaker 1: But I mean, a couple hundred bucks that's not changing
- 4:32Speaker 1: my life dramatically, but it might train somebody else's life dramatically.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Solid, But I'll take my cut.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Don't get me wrong, Yo, Rome, That's actually really cool.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I wouldn't have personally, says I would I cool, wouldn't
- 4:47Speaker 1: have personally. But that was a cool way of thinking.
- 4:50Speaker 1: And I've never heard that before. Oh, just leaving some well.
- 4:53Speaker 2: I didn't even know. I mean, I was, am I
- 4:55Speaker 2: gonna do it.
- 4:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna go buy me white another case of beer.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Somebody else might need it for something else. I would
- 5:03Speaker 1: tell you something funny, though, about finding something. I found
- 5:06Speaker 1: a golf club one time that was exactly like the
- 5:10Speaker 1: one I had in my back, and it was brand
- 5:13Speaker 1: new and mine was old. So what I did was
- 5:15Speaker 1: I took the brand new one and turned the old
- 5:17Speaker 1: turned my old one in and kept the brand new
- 5:19Speaker 1: one I found. I don't know if that's right or wrong.
- 5:23Speaker 1: So what happens when you find something? You ever found
- 5:25Speaker 1: money already? Fourteen four seven to seven yesterday I was
- 5:30Speaker 1: coming out of the out of the grocery store and
- 5:32Speaker 1: I found, uh, five twenties. They were, you know, rolled
- 5:35Speaker 1: up sitting on the ground. I opened, HI about counted
- 5:38Speaker 1: the money's five twenties. So I just took forty and
- 5:41Speaker 1: I threw the other sixty back on the ground where
- 5:43Speaker 1: I found it right, rolled it back up and tossed
- 5:45Speaker 1: on the ground. And the guy behind me was going, hey,
- 5:47Speaker 1: you dropped your money, and I said, no, no, I
- 5:49Speaker 1: just found this money.
- 5:50Speaker 2: I'm only I'm leaving some for somebody else to find.
- 5:53Speaker 1: And he just kind of laughed at me and thought
- 5:55Speaker 1: of I'm sure he thought it was weird, but I
- 5:57Speaker 1: thought he was going to pick up the money.
- 5:58Speaker 2: He didn't. He just kept walking right past it. Left
- 6:00Speaker 2: it there, So I.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Don't know who found the other sixty, but I hopefully
- 6:04Speaker 1: you know they didn't take it all either.
- 6:06Speaker 2: But you know, you know how people are. What happens
- 6:08Speaker 2: when you find money? Have you ever found money? Already? Four?
- 6:10Speaker 2: Two four or seven to seven?
- 6:13Speaker 6: Yo?
- 6:13Speaker 3: Rome?
- 6:14Speaker 2: I found like five two dollars.
- 6:16Speaker 1: I found like five two dollars bills around my car
- 6:19Speaker 1: one day leaving the doctor's office. That was badass, nice
- 6:22Speaker 1: Chris bills.
- 6:24Speaker 6: You know.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Let me tell you something.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Silly about tut I got this crazy ass friend who
- 6:28Speaker 1: makes us all carry around two dollar bills because he
- 6:31Speaker 1: says it's for good luck, good morning dobins going on.
- 6:36Speaker 8: Rome, I've never heard of such things.
- 6:38Speaker 10: Okay, so you found money, but you only took.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Half of it, a little less than half.
- 6:44Speaker 11: Yeah, man, I can't wait till I got it like that.
- 6:49Speaker 6: I found.
- 6:51Speaker 1: First of all, hold on, if one hundred dollars is
- 6:54Speaker 1: going to make or break you, then you need to
- 6:57Speaker 1: reevaluate what you're doing to do better.
- 7:00Speaker 2: One hundred dollars that I found is not going to
- 7:02Speaker 2: make a break.
- 7:03Speaker 12: Okay, that was your blessing, though you only took part
- 7:06Speaker 12: of your blessing.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Oh well, maybe maybe it was, well, yes, that was
- 7:10Speaker 2: how good you did. That's because I'm better than all
- 7:12Speaker 2: of you. Even better, man, I'm better.
- 7:15Speaker 13: It's crazy.
- 7:16Speaker 10: Do you ever you see when these guys find money
- 7:18Speaker 10: outside the ATM, it's like one hundred thousand dollars and
- 7:22Speaker 10: then they get a five thousand dollars reward or a
- 7:25Speaker 10: five hundred dollars reward.
- 7:26Speaker 2: You've never seen that before.
- 7:28Speaker 10: I've seen it several times, as you hear about it
- 7:30Speaker 10: all the time. And I'm the type of person that
- 7:32Speaker 10: I take it as a blessing and I keep it
- 7:35Speaker 10: if I find it finders.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Keepers, losers, weepers, okay.
- 7:38Speaker 10: And I have found money before outside my managers where
- 7:43Speaker 10: I was renting a house and I was having problems
- 7:45Speaker 10: with the AC and I went down there to argue
- 7:47Speaker 10: with him. Come outside and I find an envelope twenty
- 7:49Speaker 10: eight hundred dollars.
- 7:52Speaker 13: Did I turn it in?
- 7:52Speaker 6: No way?
- 7:54Speaker 13: Okay, that's a blessing, all right, right, I mean.
- 7:58Speaker 2: I'm not arty somebody. I mean twenty one hundred dollars.
- 8:03Speaker 1: There was a significant amount of money for somebody that
- 8:05Speaker 1: could have been their rent, that could have been you know,
- 8:07Speaker 1: that could devastate them. I probably wouldn't keep twenty eight
- 8:10Speaker 1: hundred dollars. I mean, I might take a hundred for
- 8:12Speaker 1: my trouble, you know whatever, But to each his own.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Already fourteen four seven to seven a roam.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I also found a wallet full of money like two
- 8:21Speaker 1: grand at Universal Studios on the Simpsons ride.
- 8:24Speaker 2: My kid thought it was mine.
- 8:27Speaker 1: But once we were leaving, I saw a couple kind
- 8:30Speaker 1: of panicking and I asked if they were okay, and
- 8:33Speaker 1: they said they had lost their wallet. I had looked
- 8:37Speaker 1: at the idea in the wallet and it was the
- 8:39Speaker 1: same guy.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I gave it back.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Oh well, yeah, that was very nice. If you I
- 8:44Speaker 1: mean that two grand, that could have been their trip.
- 8:46Speaker 1: You know, you could have ruined some family's trip by
- 8:49Speaker 1: losing two grand. I mean, it happens, man. I've lost
- 8:52Speaker 1: money before I lost I was at the golf range
- 8:56Speaker 1: one time. I had a two grand in my pocket
- 8:58Speaker 1: for something. I was going to buy something. I don't
- 9:00Speaker 1: know what I was going to buy, And when I
- 9:03Speaker 1: got back to my car, it was all laying on
- 9:06Speaker 1: the ground. Paul, the hunters were just laying there and
- 9:09Speaker 1: I was like, holy moly, it fell out of my pocket.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Nobody picked it up. I got it all back, But man,
- 9:14Speaker 1: it just happens. You never know already four two four
- 9:18Speaker 1: seven to seven. Let's talk about finding money.
- 9:21Speaker 2: What do you do?
- 9:22Speaker 1: Are you just a selfish jackass like Raider Day or
- 9:26Speaker 1: are you kind and nice and realize that giving.
- 9:29Speaker 2: It back or not taking all of it is the
- 9:31Speaker 2: right thing to do? Talking about finding money, when's the
- 9:34Speaker 2: last time you found some money? I found some yesterday.
- 9:41Speaker 2: I didn't take it. I left some for somebody else
- 9:43Speaker 2: to find. I just thought that was the nice thing
- 9:45Speaker 2: to do.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Already, four two five four seven to seven. I will
- 9:49Speaker 1: tell you something funny though about It wasn't finding money.
- 9:53Speaker 2: But one time I was at an ATM. This was
- 9:56Speaker 2: probably ten years ago.
- 9:57Speaker 1: I was at an ATM getting money out, and instead
- 10:01Speaker 1: of twenties coming out, fifties came out fifty dollars bills,
- 10:05Speaker 1: and so I got I was just just get in
- 10:07Speaker 1: a hundred bucks. So five fifties came out. I thought,
- 10:09Speaker 1: oh geez, let me get some more money out. So
- 10:12Speaker 1: I started taking money out till fifties stopped coming out.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Now was that I don't know if that's I don't
- 10:19Speaker 1: know if that's kind of like finding money. I guess hey, Rome,
- 10:23Speaker 1: When I was working at the waste management facility in
- 10:26Speaker 1: San Leandro, the employees there were finding one hundred dollars
- 10:29Speaker 1: bills in the mounds of trash. They said it were
- 10:34Speaker 1: up to about four thousand total. Wow, well that's interesting.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I wonder why, Hey Rome, I used to throw fake
- 10:42Speaker 1: hundred dollar bills on the floor at the mall just
- 10:45Speaker 1: to watch people faces light up. Never saw the face
- 10:48Speaker 1: when they tried to buy something. Though, you're just evil,
- 10:53Speaker 1: that's just evil already. Fourteen five, four, seven and seven.
- 10:57Speaker 1: I actually knew a guy who's father law of a
- 11:01Speaker 1: Fresno at the mall in Fresno. He lost like a
- 11:03Speaker 1: thirty thousand dollars diamond bracelet at the mall and somebody
- 11:08Speaker 1: turned it in nobody kept it. So yeah, a lot
- 11:12Speaker 1: of good people still out there. I mean, you got
- 11:14Speaker 1: to take a little cut for yourself.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Though.
- 11:15Speaker 1: If you find something I'm not saying, you know, not
- 11:19Speaker 1: over here telling you to be a you know, a
- 11:20Speaker 1: perfect angel, take a little cut for your troubles. You
- 11:24Speaker 1: know that teaches that person a lesson, then maybe they
- 11:26Speaker 1: should pay more attention to their money.
- 11:29Speaker 2: And you know, but you don't want to, you don't
- 11:32Speaker 2: want to put somebody in a tough position.
- 11:34Speaker 1: You know, if somebody's losing thousand, if somebody's dropped an
- 11:37Speaker 1: envelope with a few thousand dollars in, it was probably
- 11:41Speaker 1: important to that, you know, especially if it's in an envelope. Okay,
- 11:47Speaker 1: I found some money the other day, and I only
- 11:49Speaker 1: took a portion of it. I found five twenties rolled up.
- 11:51Speaker 1: I took forty, left the other sixty for somebody else
- 11:55Speaker 1: to find.
- 11:56Speaker 2: You know, morning, how what's going on?
- 11:58Speaker 8: I was to see how glue every rom.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I remember I found some money.
- 12:04Speaker 12: It was it was a black Friday when they leave
- 12:07Speaker 12: the stores open on Thanksgiving.
- 12:09Speaker 8: Yeah, I was going in broke because I was like,
- 12:12Speaker 8: I'll just.
- 12:13Speaker 13: Go with you.
- 12:13Speaker 1: I went with my cousin, of course, and I was
- 12:18Speaker 1: in the.
- 12:19Speaker 6: Walmart parking lot and I get off and.
- 12:21Speaker 11: I found a roll of money, and I'm like, oh dang.
- 12:26Speaker 4: So I tell them let's go home, because I don't
- 12:29Speaker 4: want people to come back and say, hey, I dropped
- 12:31Speaker 4: it here around here, you know. Yeah.
- 12:33Speaker 6: I found eight hundred and fifty bucks in a roll
- 12:36Speaker 6: of paper.
- 12:36Speaker 1: And some boy, little boy and girl didn't get no
- 12:40Speaker 1: Christmas gifts out year because of you.
- 12:43Speaker 6: Nah, but I did.
- 12:44Speaker 2: I got some good stuff that day.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Yeah, you so like it?
- 12:48Speaker 4: So like it?
- 12:49Speaker 8: I kept it all. I wasn't giving nothing back there.
- 12:52Speaker 8: You smooth, you lose sometimes, you know what I mean.
- 12:54Speaker 1: There's good people in this world. There's bad people in
- 12:57Speaker 1: this world. Do you Guys just tend to let everybody
- 13:00Speaker 1: know who you are by the way you do things.
- 13:02Speaker 6: Hey, And there's lucky people in this world, one of
- 13:05Speaker 6: them every.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Now and whatever helps you sleep at night.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Already fourteen four seven to seven they wrong. I was
- 13:15Speaker 1: with my daughter at the mall one day and I
- 13:17Speaker 1: found fifteen bucks. I picked it up and looked around
- 13:20Speaker 1: and proceeded walking. We spent it on food at the
- 13:25Speaker 1: food court. Well, I will say this, I do.
- 13:32Speaker 2: I do want to say this about finding money. Okay, And.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Like Seahawk Lou found eight hundred and fifty dollars. You
- 13:40Speaker 1: know that's somebody's Christmas money, right they're out shopping. I
- 13:45Speaker 1: found five twenties in a parking lot of a grocery store.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Okay.
- 13:50Speaker 1: I don't believe one hundred dollars is going to break
- 13:54Speaker 1: somebody at where I was.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Okay, So that's why I took a little cut.
- 13:59Speaker 1: They they come back and find their sixty, maybe they'
- 14:01Speaker 1: oh maybe somebody else takes it. Okay, But when you
- 14:05Speaker 1: find something a considerable amount of money, that could actually
- 14:09Speaker 1: break somebody. And I'm not saying one hundred dollars can't
- 14:12Speaker 1: break anybody. I'm just saying where I was, I know
- 14:15Speaker 1: those people ain't missing one hundred bucks, but the it
- 14:19Speaker 1: could break somebody. You want want to try to at
- 14:21Speaker 1: least find out who it is. If you can't, you
- 14:24Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. If you can't, okay, maybe it
- 14:26Speaker 1: is you know, a blessing finding fifteen bucks of the
- 14:30Speaker 1: mall with your daughter.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Okay, it's fifteen bucks. You go, Okay, maybe it's just
- 14:34Speaker 2: a lucky day for you.
- 14:36Speaker 1: But come on, you got to make some You got
- 14:38Speaker 1: to make some decisions depending on how much money you find. Hey, Romeo,
- 14:44Speaker 1: this reminds me like like if I had if I
- 14:47Speaker 1: was walking there, And it also depends on what it's in.
- 14:51Speaker 1: I found five twenties rolled up, Okay, that means somebody
- 14:54Speaker 1: just stuck in their pocket. If you find five thousand
- 14:57Speaker 1: in an envelope, somebody's using that money for something. Somebody's
- 15:00Speaker 1: got it. You know, if you find five thousand just
- 15:02Speaker 1: laying on the ground, might be a guy who just
- 15:05Speaker 1: has a lot of money. But had I found five
- 15:08Speaker 1: grand laying right next to where I found it, I
- 15:11Speaker 1: probably would have waited around, just to see if somebody
- 15:15Speaker 1: came back panicked in the row of cars I was
- 15:18Speaker 1: standing it, Okay, I wanted to cap it.
- 15:22Speaker 2: You never know, that might break.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Somebody, all righty, although in fairness that it probably wouldn't
- 15:26Speaker 1: have broke anybody where I was. Hey, rom this reminds
- 15:31Speaker 1: me mister wagu from Carne Carnisa Gonzalez. One time he
- 15:36Speaker 1: posted on a story that he left his renter's money
- 15:40Speaker 1: in back of his truck and drove off and the
- 15:43Speaker 1: money flew off. He later went back and only found
- 15:46Speaker 1: a couple of hundred down the same road. So somebody
- 15:50Speaker 1: picked it up. Somebody else picked it up.
- 15:52Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 15:53Speaker 1: I mean, people lose money, right and most people I
- 15:57Speaker 1: think are nice enough to give it back. But I
- 16:00Speaker 1: also believe that, you know, you gotta have accountability, you know,
- 16:05Speaker 1: be a little bit more careful with your money. So
- 16:07Speaker 1: you don't want to you know, you don't want to
- 16:09Speaker 1: rip people off, but yet, hey, you also got to
- 16:12Speaker 1: take a little bit for your troubles, right, Raider Dave
- 16:15Speaker 1: said me, a roam. Is it too early to say
- 16:17Speaker 1: cowboy Reuben sucks and he's a jerk? Signed anonymous raider fan.
- 16:25Speaker 1: I guess it's not a good morning Rome. I remember
- 16:28Speaker 1: once my sister asked me to borrow money on a Friday.
- 16:30Speaker 1: I gave her a hundred That same day, I said,
- 16:32Speaker 1: don't worry about it. The next day, I was a
- 16:34Speaker 1: grocery shopping, ran into an old ran into an old
- 16:38Speaker 1: co worker. As we're talking, he said, look, there's one
- 16:40Speaker 1: hundred bucks on the floor and said I can have it.
- 16:43Speaker 1: I told him it was his, since he's seen it first,
- 16:46Speaker 1: and he said it's okay, I can take it. Just
- 16:49Speaker 1: thought to myself, like karma and a chuckle to myself. Amen,
- 16:55Speaker 1: maybe karma is a real huh aerom. Do you think
- 16:58Speaker 1: they should give the person and that finds the money
- 17:01Speaker 1: or a reward?
- 17:05Speaker 2: No, I don't think so.
- 17:06Speaker 1: If you find somebody's money, I don't think they that's
- 17:08Speaker 1: a I don't think anybody should give you the reward.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I don't if you If you if you find something
- 17:17Speaker 1: that belongs to somebody else and give it back to them,
- 17:19Speaker 1: you don't deserve a reward. No, come on, now, well
- 17:23Speaker 1: that that that just totally devalues the fact that you
- 17:26Speaker 1: were doing an act of kindness. I mean, it totally
- 17:28Speaker 1: makes you look like a jackass. You should just you know,
- 17:32Speaker 1: be uh, be kind enough to give somebody back, give
- 17:36Speaker 1: somebody back something they lost.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Because people don't lose stuff on purpose.
- 17:40Speaker 1: It's not like, I mean, people don't lose stuff on purpose, right,
- 17:44Speaker 1: it's some most of the time people just accidentally misplaced
- 17:47Speaker 1: keys or you know, drop stuff or things fall out
- 17:50Speaker 1: of the pocket.
- 17:51Speaker 2: No, you should never know. That's just stupid. That just
- 17:54Speaker 2: makes you look like a jackass. What did you send
- 17:56Speaker 2: me here? All right? Uh yo, roam, you're ready for
- 17:59Speaker 2: the night?
- 18:00Speaker 1: Bang Bang Diner Gang, San Francisco. Oh yeah, preseason starts today.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Is that what you idiots are trying to tell me?
- 18:10Speaker 1: It's preseason So all you losers out there who have
- 18:13Speaker 1: no lives and uh you got something to do now
- 18:18Speaker 1: watch football? Watch preseason football might be preseason football might
- 18:22Speaker 1: be worse than watching I don't know the ocho. Preseason
- 18:27Speaker 1: football is just terrible football.
- 18:29Speaker 2: It's an embarrassment. Actually, preseason football is an.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Embarrassment to the NFL to be honest with you, and
- 18:35Speaker 1: you idiots act like it's a super Bowl for somemer.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Oh my god, so preseason to your football's here? Oh
- 18:40Speaker 2: my god.
- 18:41Speaker 1: If your life sucks that bad that you're just waiting
- 18:44Speaker 1: for football to start, you really need to see a
- 18:47Speaker 1: therapist and really, fine, I get a better wife, I
- 18:50Speaker 1: don't know, go, get a better job, get a hobby,
- 18:53Speaker 1: get you know, spend.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Some time with your kids.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, something, something better than what you're doing
- 18:59Speaker 1: right now. If you're excited about whoever this idiot that
- 19:02Speaker 1: said bang Bang Niner game. If you're excited about the
- 19:05Speaker 1: Niners and the Titans tonight, you're a loser, you really are.
- 19:11Speaker 2: You send me here, Oh another football guy for two, five,
- 19:15Speaker 2: four or seven to seven? Yeard Rome. Are we doing
- 19:18Speaker 2: Monday night football again at Just wing It? I? Yeah,
- 19:25Speaker 2: I think we are. I hope we are. I think
- 19:30Speaker 2: we're doing Monday.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Monday night football is gonna be awesome at Just Singing
- 19:33Speaker 1: this year because now they have the golf simulators, so
- 19:35Speaker 1: now we can do two things at once.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Absolutely, I think we're gonna do Uh. I think we're
- 19:39Speaker 1: doing Monday night football again.
- 19:40Speaker 2: I think so good morning. How what's going on?
- 19:42Speaker 1: Hey?
- 19:43Speaker 9: What's the Romans read? James?
- 19:44Speaker 6: Man? How you doing?
- 19:45Speaker 4: Hey?
- 19:45Speaker 1: What up?
- 19:45Speaker 9: Brother?
- 19:45Speaker 1: Would you go to?
- 19:47Speaker 8: Hey?
- 19:47Speaker 9: I was just listening to what you were saying about
- 19:49Speaker 9: the fan excited about the preseason game.
- 19:52Speaker 4: Man.
- 19:52Speaker 9: That's kind of like me and a buddy of mine.
- 19:54Speaker 9: He just you know, man, we were talking about how
- 19:56Speaker 9: he was in the media get excited about the following year,
- 19:59Speaker 9: the two they're playing in the super Bowl. Oh yeah,
- 20:02Speaker 9: it's a big man, these excited.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Man.
- 20:05Speaker 9: I'm a Seahawk man. Okay, I lose to the New
- 20:08Speaker 9: England Patriots. Man, as I'm going to shake your hands
- 20:11Speaker 9: showing my Super Bowl.
- 20:12Speaker 6: Ring to bad.
- 20:18Speaker 4: Man.
- 20:20Speaker 9: We played again in the Super Bowl.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Come on, gosh, that's hilarious. That's hilarious.
- 20:27Speaker 6: That's right, man.
- 20:27Speaker 11: How you being?
- 20:28Speaker 2: I am doing okay? I just I'm good.
- 20:32Speaker 6: Man.
- 20:32Speaker 2: I just don't want to be here today, That's right.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I don't know why.
- 20:36Speaker 4: I just don't.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Man, I got stuff to do at the house. I
- 20:39Speaker 2: just don't even does not want to be at work.
- 20:40Speaker 2: You know, they just got other things going on that
- 20:43Speaker 2: my dryer. I got to figure out why my dryer
- 20:45Speaker 2: is not heating up. And the timers messed up. I
- 20:47Speaker 2: gotta go do that. I don't want to be here today.
- 20:50Speaker 9: Man, I be wanting to hit that little call in.
- 20:54Speaker 2: I wish I had that. I got to pull some
- 20:56Speaker 2: rose bushes out. I got things to do, man, all right, Yeah,
- 21:04Speaker 2: Rader jack Man, he is a great guy. I went county.
- 21:10Speaker 2: I forgot to ask him. What were we talking about?
- 21:16Speaker 1: Oh, you know what I was gonna tell you, My boy,
- 21:19Speaker 1: my boy's nephew just got signed by Seattle.
- 21:23Speaker 2: I was gonna look and see if he was on
- 21:25Speaker 2: the roster. Yeah, my buddy buddy.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Of mine who lives here, his his his uhs just
- 21:34Speaker 1: got got signed by the Seattle Seahawks. I think three years,
- 21:38Speaker 1: I think, is what he was telling me. I was
- 21:41Speaker 1: trying to figure out. I was gonna check the roster
- 21:43Speaker 1: real quick and see the depth chart. Let me check
- 21:46Speaker 1: out the depth chart. I guess a couple of the
- 21:48Speaker 1: running backs on h on, A couple of the running
- 21:55Speaker 1: backs on the Seahawks got hurt, so they picked up
- 21:58Speaker 1: this kid.
- 22:00Speaker 2: I think he's a running back. Oh yeah, I have
- 22:03Speaker 2: no idea. I'm over here looking at the roster like
- 22:05Speaker 2: I even know what the kid's name is. I have
- 22:07Speaker 2: no idea all.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Right eight four two, five four or seven to seven.
- 22:12Speaker 1: It wrote me, Oh, the only reason you don't want
- 22:14Speaker 1: to talk football right now is because the Chiefs suck
- 22:17Speaker 1: and they're done.
- 22:19Speaker 2: If they were still good, you'd be all about it.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Not during preseason.
- 22:26Speaker 1: I didn't care about preseason when they were When the
- 22:30Speaker 1: Chiefs were good, I don't care about them when they're bad.
- 22:32Speaker 2: I don't care about preseason.
- 22:34Speaker 1: I tell you guys all the time, my life is
- 22:36Speaker 1: amazing and i'm but it's so much better than yours.
- 22:41Speaker 1: That's why I don't care about preseason or fantasy football.
- 22:44Speaker 1: I don't need something like that to distract me from
- 22:48Speaker 1: how much my life sucks. Because my life is great.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I do whatever I want whenever I want. I'm off
- 22:54Speaker 1: early enough to go out and do whatever i want.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Yeah, my life's great.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Don't even I mean, I do. Got to fix my
- 23:02Speaker 1: dryer today. I hope I can fix it, but you know,
- 23:05Speaker 1: hopefully I can figure it out. But yeah, you know,
- 23:09Speaker 1: people with happy lives don't care about preseason or fantasy football.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Those are those are anybody who gets so involved in
- 23:17Speaker 1: a football team and tries to disguise it and justify
- 23:21Speaker 1: it as a fandom. No, you're just trying to avoid
- 23:24Speaker 1: your life because your life socks.
- 23:26Speaker 2: It's really all it is.
- 23:27Speaker 1: You're trying to live vicariously through the success of something else,
- 23:31Speaker 1: in any manner to make you feel better because your
- 23:33Speaker 1: life socks.
- 23:34Speaker 2: You don't know what I'm talking about. Just go ask
- 23:36Speaker 2: a Raider fan.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Alrighty four two, five, four, seven to seven. Rome that
- 23:41Speaker 1: listener talking about the Kansas City Chiefs.
- 23:43Speaker 2: You must be new to.
- 23:45Speaker 1: You must be new to the show because every year
- 23:49Speaker 1: you say the same thing about preseason.
- 23:51Speaker 2: He don't know what he's talking about. He's a dumb ass.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Oh he must be. Yeah, I don't care. I've said
- 23:56Speaker 2: that for years. I think fantasy football is stupid. I
- 24:00Speaker 2: think that preseason's ridiculous.
- 24:04Speaker 1: And you get these idiots that live like it's one
- 24:07Speaker 1: thing to live vicariously through a sports team during the
- 24:11Speaker 1: regular season because your life sucks and you want some
- 24:14Speaker 1: sort of happiness enjoy in it. But if you're finding
- 24:17Speaker 1: happiness and enjoy in preseason, you your life really does suck.
- 24:22Speaker 1: I mean, and if you gotta, if you gotta play
- 24:24Speaker 1: fantasy football to make you feel like you can accomplish
- 24:27Speaker 1: something you really need.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Therapy.
- 24:30Speaker 6: I mean, I.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Feel bad for people who have to live like that. Oh,
- 24:35Speaker 2: would you send me here? Good moring to Rome.
- 24:36Speaker 1: I'm just a quick question. Are you making a new
- 24:38Speaker 1: Raider song this year? I am making a new Raider
- 24:41Speaker 1: song this year. It's actually already done. To be honest
- 24:44Speaker 1: with you, it's already done. I'm just not gonna play
- 24:49Speaker 1: it till season starts. Hey, Roam, Yes, I'm still in humble, Oh,
- 24:52Speaker 1: Raider James, still in humble. And to the fan that
- 24:54Speaker 1: doesn't know your Chiefs are ramping back up. They signed
- 24:57Speaker 1: Kay Walker from Seattle, who is the MVP. He of
- 25:00Speaker 1: the Super Bowl and my homes one hundred percent. Now, Yes,
- 25:02Speaker 1: I'm diehard Raider fan, but a big fan of football
- 25:05Speaker 1: in general. Can't wait to see what improvements we make
- 25:08Speaker 1: and go from there. We're getting ready for our season
- 25:11Speaker 1: here too. We play Southern Oregon next week. Go College
- 25:15Speaker 1: of the Redwoods blessings. Yeah, College of the Redwoods. Boy,
- 25:19Speaker 1: I haven't been to College of the Redwoods and.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Forever.
- 25:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:26Speaker 2: I like Reader James. He's a good guy. I can't
- 25:28Speaker 2: believe he's I'm in humble, Kenny, where I grew up. No,
- 25:30Speaker 2: Michael Bean is here for the Marriage and Family Center
- 25:33Speaker 2: six fifty one.
- 25:36Speaker 1: We talk to him every week about relationships to try
- 25:38Speaker 1: to help you better yours.
- 25:40Speaker 10: Good morning, Michael, Good morning.
- 25:43Speaker 2: How's everything going?
- 25:44Speaker 13: The things are just swimming along amazingly. I can't complain
- 25:49Speaker 13: about a thing, all.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Right, Michael, I want to talk about what's going on
- 25:53Speaker 1: in relationships in today versus I don't know, thirty years ago.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Do you believe that relationships today are any better than
- 26:06Speaker 1: they were saved before the Internet?
- 26:13Speaker 6: Better?
- 26:13Speaker 13: Better?
- 26:14Speaker 9: Better?
- 26:16Speaker 13: Maybe in some ways, maybe not.
- 26:19Speaker 9: In other ways.
- 26:19Speaker 13: They're sure different. You know, people are having relationships with
- 26:24Speaker 13: like programs now, I know, having relationships with people who
- 26:28Speaker 13: don't exist.
- 26:31Speaker 2: I'm glad you said that different.
- 26:33Speaker 1: I'm glad you said that because I saw commercially yesterday
- 26:35Speaker 1: for a chat GPT and this older lady was talking
- 26:40Speaker 1: to it, asking it questions about the weather, like it
- 26:43Speaker 1: was actually having a conversation with a real person.
- 26:46Speaker 2: And that's what made me think about that was these
- 26:49Speaker 2: relationships today.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Remember the you know, your dating pool today or today
- 26:55Speaker 1: is so much bigger than it was before the Internet.
- 26:59Speaker 1: You would act, they have to go out and try
- 27:01Speaker 1: to put in a little work and a little effort.
- 27:03Speaker 1: So once you actually accomplish something like getting a person's
- 27:08Speaker 1: phone number or taking them out and going on a
- 27:11Speaker 1: date with them, actually putting in a little more effort
- 27:15Speaker 1: to meet somebody, you may have cared a little more
- 27:18Speaker 1: about whatever it is was may happen in that relationship.
- 27:23Speaker 2: If it progressed or not.
- 27:25Speaker 1: As to now you just hey, you swipe on somebody
- 27:28Speaker 1: and you go, okay, well I talked to this person,
- 27:30Speaker 1: I didn't like them.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Let me swipe next, let me swipe neck. I'll find
- 27:33Speaker 2: when it'd be all right.
- 27:34Speaker 1: And I just wonder how much people care about relationships
- 27:39Speaker 1: today because of how little work you have to put
- 27:43Speaker 1: into it just to even begin one, well, you.
- 27:47Speaker 13: Have to put very little work into kind of that
- 27:50Speaker 13: first date. And because of that, I've met with several
- 27:55Speaker 13: people who've had a really hard time kind of convincing
- 27:58Speaker 13: themselves that they should go out again with somebody, even
- 28:01Speaker 13: somebody that they really liked and hit it off with.
- 28:03Speaker 13: And the only reason is that there's like eight other people.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Who are attractive or they're in their phone exactly.
- 28:10Speaker 13: So it's just it's like takes a real effort to
- 28:14Speaker 13: overcome that temptation for you know, to explore somebody new
- 28:18Speaker 13: and meet somebody new, rather than try to actually do
- 28:23Speaker 13: the hard work of getting to know somebody and overcoming
- 28:27Speaker 13: you know there and your inteo secrecies and all of that.
- 28:31Speaker 1: So, as a human, are we doing a disservice to
- 28:35Speaker 1: ourselves in the way that we're doing things?
- 28:36Speaker 4: Now?
- 28:37Speaker 2: Are we happy?
- 28:38Speaker 6: I mean?
- 28:40Speaker 2: How do I'm a people happy in their relationships? Michael?
- 28:43Speaker 1: I mean people say they are, People say they're they're
- 28:48Speaker 1: happy dating people.
- 28:50Speaker 2: But I just don't know that people.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Are truly truly know what the I that must sound
- 28:55Speaker 1: like a Hallmark movie, but I don't think people truly
- 28:58Speaker 1: know what it's like to be happy with somebody else.
- 29:04Speaker 9: And yeah, it is.
- 29:07Speaker 13: Electronics are interfering with our happiness.
- 29:10Speaker 4: They are.
- 29:12Speaker 13: So many people report that being on social media makes
- 29:16Speaker 13: them unhappy, and yeah, they're on it. What does that
- 29:23Speaker 13: kind of say If there is a technology or a
- 29:25Speaker 13: thing that's readily available around you that you that doesn't
- 29:31Speaker 13: make your life better, that makes your life worse, but
- 29:34Speaker 13: you continue to choose it for not having that in
- 29:38Speaker 13: your life, I just think that's just pretty tragic.
- 29:42Speaker 2: I'll say they're stupid.
- 29:43Speaker 1: I've been telling you people are stupid for years, Michael,
- 29:46Speaker 1: these idiots are running around trying to pretend like it's
- 29:49Speaker 1: the best thing ever. And there are some great things
- 29:51Speaker 1: about the Internet that you can utilize to make them
- 29:54Speaker 1: to make human beings and society better, but we use
- 29:56Speaker 1: it for the stupidest things and they make us unhappy.
- 30:00Speaker 1: That just shows how pathetic we are as the human race.
- 30:03Speaker 13: Well, the closest we're getting to kind of putting some
- 30:05Speaker 13: limits on this is that parents are starting to form
- 30:08Speaker 13: groups where they're supporting each other in not letting their
- 30:12Speaker 13: kids be on social media. You know, they're saying, yeah,
- 30:16Speaker 13: let's let them at leads me sixteen before we start
- 30:19Speaker 13: bombarding them with all these messages that they're not good enough,
- 30:22Speaker 13: or other people are having more fun than they are,
- 30:24Speaker 13: or yeah, you know, these little just stupid things that
- 30:27Speaker 13: aren't true and just urban legends get passed along like news,
- 30:33Speaker 13: you know. And so that's about as close as we're
- 30:36Speaker 13: coming now to trying to put some limits on this thing,
- 30:39Speaker 13: this and not making our lives better.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Okay, Michael, hold on a second, because I do want
- 30:42Speaker 1: to take it a little bit further. As the generations
- 30:46Speaker 1: are now growing up with it and how it's going
- 30:49Speaker 1: to change relationships in the future. So Michael being this
- 30:52Speaker 1: here for the Marriage of Family Center, Michael being his
- 30:54Speaker 1: here for the Marriage of Family.
- 30:55Speaker 2: Center six s one three two seven fifty one hundred.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Good morning, Michael.
- 31:02Speaker 1: I want to take it a little step further with
- 31:03Speaker 1: the technology because I think it's a hard conversation to
- 31:08Speaker 1: have when you talk about technology, because it was so
- 31:10Speaker 1: great growing up without it.
- 31:12Speaker 2: It was just amazing. But it's still great to have it.
- 31:16Speaker 1: But when you don't know, well, when you don't know
- 31:18Speaker 1: both sides of it, you have to argue with kids
- 31:22Speaker 1: who grow up only with them and go, look, there
- 31:24Speaker 1: was more to life if you only understood. But you
- 31:27Speaker 1: don't understand because this is all you've ever known. So
- 31:31Speaker 1: when they look at relationships, I mean you and I, obviously, Michael,
- 31:36Speaker 1: nobody was like to have to talk to somebody in
- 31:38Speaker 1: person if you wanted to meet them.
- 31:40Speaker 2: These kids don't.
- 31:40Speaker 1: But if that's all they ever know, and that's the
- 31:44Speaker 1: way the world's progressing from a relationship standpoint, are they really.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Wrong in what they're doing.
- 31:52Speaker 13: I mean they're not wrong. They're living in the current
- 31:56Speaker 13: world that we're providing with them. Well, you know, to them,
- 32:00Speaker 13: but we're not doing them any favors either. I think
- 32:04Speaker 13: I just the fundamental skills of interacting with a person,
- 32:09Speaker 13: having a deep relationship with another person are really being eroded.
- 32:13Speaker 13: We were talking offline about how these all the little
- 32:15Speaker 13: gadgets on our cars that you know, centered in the
- 32:19Speaker 13: lane and keep us from running into the person in
- 32:22Speaker 13: front of us, everything make us lazy as drivers. It
- 32:24Speaker 13: makes us worse drivers. We're also becoming worse at creating
- 32:29Speaker 13: relationships and maintaining good relationships. If there's someone that you
- 32:34Speaker 13: care about that you want a close relationship with, it
- 32:36Speaker 13: takes a different skill set than you're going to get
- 32:39Speaker 13: from AI.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Even with technology.
- 32:42Speaker 1: And when you when when And this is kind of
- 32:43Speaker 1: what I wanted to ask you, is you and I
- 32:47Speaker 1: sit in a room together because we've.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Decided, you know what, we're going to settle down. Unless
- 32:50Speaker 2: we're going to live in different houses and just communicate.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Through technology, at some point we're going to be we're
- 32:55Speaker 1: going to be in the same you know house together
- 32:58Speaker 1: twenty you know, sometimes twenty hours a day. We got
- 33:02Speaker 1: a technology cannot help us, right unless we just annoy
- 33:05Speaker 1: each other and how to communicate with each other.
- 33:08Speaker 13: It's worse than that Romeo technology hurts us. It hurts
- 33:13Speaker 13: us in the same way that the car that we're
- 33:15Speaker 13: driving that tends the lean for us and keeps the
- 33:18Speaker 13: distance from the car in front of us and does
- 33:19Speaker 13: all of that stuff for us kind of short circuits
- 33:22Speaker 13: our ability to do things for ourselves. Our technology when
- 33:27Speaker 13: we get on AI and talk to it, and it's
- 33:29Speaker 13: just so ingratiating. It's like every idea we have is great.
- 33:33Speaker 13: It wants to talk to us all the time. And
- 33:35Speaker 13: if we say something stupid or you know, blunt or hurtful,
- 33:39Speaker 13: it doesn't even batter eyes. It's kind of like rolls
- 33:42Speaker 13: with it. You know, it's still our friend. Well, guess
- 33:45Speaker 13: what people aren't like that. We actually do have to
- 33:48Speaker 13: watch what we say around people. We have to respond,
- 33:50Speaker 13: you know, with some tact if we say something wrong
- 33:53Speaker 13: or put our foot in our mouth or something. And
- 33:55Speaker 13: you are not going to learn that from this gadget
- 33:58Speaker 13: that's made to you know.
- 33:59Speaker 6: Make you love it.
- 34:01Speaker 1: I want to ask you something, Michael, And this might
- 34:03Speaker 1: be a little bit off topic of what we're talking about,
- 34:06Speaker 1: but you look at these these younger generations who grew
- 34:08Speaker 1: up on social media and AI and they get so
- 34:11Speaker 1: offended and so insecure about comments from people that have
- 34:16Speaker 1: never met, from people that could be a robot, that
- 34:19Speaker 1: could live in a different country, we live in a
- 34:21Speaker 1: different city, that will they will never see in their lifetime.
- 34:25Speaker 1: But literally, these these guys can be out here on
- 34:30Speaker 1: social media, guys or girls or whatever and they're I mean,
- 34:34Speaker 1: they'll it's detrimental to their health. But then when we
- 34:38Speaker 1: apply that to relationships, it seems like we've gotten more
- 34:41Speaker 1: sensitive because of uh, social media, because of technology. But
- 34:48Speaker 1: yet we're supposed to be in good relationships and not
- 34:51Speaker 1: and be able to handle some insensitivity when we're dealing
- 34:55Speaker 1: with a partner, right, does that make sense to you, Michael,
- 34:57Speaker 1: what I'm saying. It seems like their country collecting each
- 35:00Speaker 1: other life and relationships.
- 35:04Speaker 13: It's tough. And then that whole thing is all rolled
- 35:07Speaker 13: up in you know, how pc do we have to be?
- 35:11Speaker 13: You know, how much has our society changed so that
- 35:16Speaker 13: we kind of can't talk about anything without hurting somebody's
- 35:18Speaker 13: feelings versus Well, maybe it's okay if we're more sensitive
- 35:23Speaker 13: towards you know, people who you know, maybe maybe there
- 35:26Speaker 13: are bullies out there and it's okay to kind of say, hey,
- 35:29Speaker 13: let's not bully people. There's a whole that whole thing
- 35:32Speaker 13: is underlying this thing. The Internet just make just puts
- 35:36Speaker 13: it all right in your face that there are people
- 35:38Speaker 13: that are really going to set out to set you off.
- 35:43Speaker 13: They've been given a platform that makes you know, we
- 35:45Speaker 13: used to be able to look around the classroom and
- 35:47Speaker 13: kind of see maybe one or two people who just
- 35:50Speaker 13: really like to rile up somebody, you know, like to
- 35:53Speaker 13: try to get under somebody's skin. Well, the Internet has
- 35:56Speaker 13: just given them an open platform to just do that,
- 35:59Speaker 13: to just really hammer at people who are going to
- 36:01Speaker 13: react to things.
- 36:02Speaker 2: What do you think, Michael, what do you think relationships go?
- 36:05Speaker 1: I mean, just in general, do you think as I
- 36:08Speaker 1: mean as humans progress with technology, do you think we're
- 36:12Speaker 1: going to figure it out or in the same way
- 36:14Speaker 1: that we haven't figured it out now before technology with relationships,
- 36:17Speaker 1: we're just going to keep moving.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Along the way we are.
- 36:20Speaker 13: I don't know how long it's going to be before
- 36:24Speaker 13: there's a truly functional AI that can actually help like
- 36:30Speaker 13: a couple interact with each other better. There isn't one
- 36:34Speaker 13: right now. Again, they're all just trying to grab little
- 36:37Speaker 13: bits and pieces from all the self help books in
- 36:39Speaker 13: the world, about half the.
- 36:41Speaker 6: Advice is really bad.
- 36:43Speaker 13: But until then, until that time, man be a therapist,
- 36:49Speaker 13: because because the Internet is messing people up and you're
- 36:53Speaker 13: going to have plenty of work to do.
- 36:55Speaker 2: How can and just as real quick, how can it
- 37:00Speaker 2: be that? I mean, because Michael, you and I have
- 37:02Speaker 2: talked for years.
- 37:03Speaker 1: I mean, you've changed my mind on a one hundred
- 37:05Speaker 1: things over the last few years. And it's it's more
- 37:10Speaker 1: of a personal You can't do AI can't do what
- 37:14Speaker 1: a human does. And even if I don't even know how,
- 37:17Speaker 1: it can get to the point where they can say,
- 37:19Speaker 1: you know what, our relationships this They say, okay, I
- 37:23Speaker 1: can help you in this way, and then somebody else
- 37:24Speaker 1: comes in and go our relationships that, Oh, let me
- 37:26Speaker 1: give you the same advice that I just gave those people.
- 37:29Speaker 1: They're two different who are dealing with two different things, right,
- 37:32Speaker 1: And I just don't see it. I don't see how,
- 37:35Speaker 1: but you know it is what it is.
- 37:36Speaker 3: You do.
- 37:37Speaker 2: A lot of people go to AI by the way
- 37:39Speaker 2: for relationship advice.
- 37:41Speaker 13: I mean they might even start there. Hopefully they can
- 37:45Speaker 13: pretty quickly see that it's just pretty surface levels up
- 37:48Speaker 13: and it's not. It's not, as you said, directed at
- 37:53Speaker 13: their specific situation. Just getting general advice sometimes can be
- 37:57Speaker 13: really helpful, but only sometimes if you've already kind of
- 38:01Speaker 13: tried the normal stuff. You're probably not going to get
- 38:04Speaker 13: a lot new from AI. And you said it can't
- 38:08Speaker 13: do what humans do as far as kicking in all
- 38:11Speaker 13: those variables, looking at the big picture and helping people,
- 38:13Speaker 13: You're right, it can't yet. But that's what I'm saying.
- 38:16Speaker 13: There's going to come a time when you can sit
- 38:19Speaker 13: down and have that device really do a thorough assessment,
- 38:23Speaker 13: really get into the inner stuff, the upbringing, the whole
- 38:27Speaker 13: just kind of like, oh, that's the dynamic that's happening here,
- 38:31Speaker 13: let's work with you someday. That's going to happen someday.
- 38:35Speaker 13: But between now and then, we have devices that are
- 38:38Speaker 13: only designed to just ingratiate you, and you know, kind
- 38:43Speaker 13: of just throw some information out there that eighty percent
- 38:46Speaker 13: of the time is pretty good, you know, and then
- 38:49Speaker 13: twenty percent of the time is wrong, and a lot
- 38:52Speaker 13: of the time this isn't helpful.
- 38:54Speaker 1: It all right, Michael, being to stay here for the
- 38:56Speaker 1: Marriage of Family Center, and I'm just going to tell
- 38:57Speaker 1: you right now Michael.
- 38:58Speaker 2: I can never do what I do ever. I don't
- 39:01Speaker 2: care how long they work on it, it will never
- 39:03Speaker 2: be able to be me. Good morning, Michael. All right,
- 39:10Speaker 2: let's talk about uh, let's talk about sex, Michael. It's
- 39:14Speaker 2: been a while since we talk to.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Well, sex and relationships, and we've had a couple I've
- 39:23Speaker 1: had a couple of people comment over earlier this week
- 39:27Speaker 1: about just they're not getting their needs.
- 39:29Speaker 2: Met sexually in their relationships.
- 39:31Speaker 1: And a lot of people think that cheating is an
- 39:35Speaker 1: acceptable way, is an acceptable justification if your wife, your
- 39:40Speaker 1: husband's not really you know, giving you whatever it is
- 39:44Speaker 1: that you.
- 39:45Speaker 6: What you want.
- 39:46Speaker 2: And we obviously both don't agree to that. We think cheating.
- 39:49Speaker 2: I think cheating is a terrible idea.
- 39:53Speaker 1: But I just don't think people know how to, you know.
- 39:57Speaker 1: And we were talking to just earlier about insecurities. Well,
- 40:00Speaker 1: I think people are more insecure in their lives than
- 40:02Speaker 1: they've ever been. And I just don't see how how
- 40:07Speaker 1: people are going to handle things like this, Michael, when
- 40:09Speaker 1: they have to deal with their partner.
- 40:12Speaker 13: Yeah, and when we try to fix a problem in
- 40:15Speaker 13: a relationship, sexual or otherwise and it doesn't work, we
- 40:19Speaker 13: start to get the idea that it's never going to work.
- 40:21Speaker 13: You know, nothing will work. You know, they're the problem.
- 40:24Speaker 13: We think, instead of the relationship having an issue and
- 40:28Speaker 13: we can't fix them, we can't make them better. They're
- 40:30Speaker 13: always going to be that way that we're going to
- 40:32Speaker 13: be unsatisfied with. And we start thinking, no, I can't
- 40:36Speaker 13: possibly make this better. And yet I have all these
- 40:39Speaker 13: ties to this person, emotional and house and kids and
- 40:43Speaker 13: whatever else. You know that our lives are combined now
- 40:46Speaker 13: in laws, and so we've got this whole thing, and
- 40:49Speaker 13: it's really complicated and difficult to just make a break.
- 40:54Speaker 13: And yet I'm not getting these needs met. And then
- 40:58Speaker 13: now this coworker or somebody I grew up with or
- 41:02Speaker 13: something reaches out to me, and it becomes really tempting
- 41:07Speaker 13: to kind of mess up something instead of trying to
- 41:10Speaker 13: fix something, because like I said, you tried and it
- 41:12Speaker 13: didn't work.
- 41:13Speaker 1: You know, I should take this a little step a
- 41:15Speaker 1: step further, Michael, instead of just sex. Sex might not
- 41:17Speaker 1: be the thing in your relationship that is hurting you.
- 41:22Speaker 1: It could be the communication. It could be the time
- 41:24Speaker 1: spent together, it could be it could be a hundred
- 41:27Speaker 1: different things.
- 41:28Speaker 2: You know, if you're not getting what you want, you're
- 41:29Speaker 2: not getting what you want.
- 41:31Speaker 13: True, and sex is sometimes just an indicator. It's just
- 41:33Speaker 13: kind of like a litmus test here that something else
- 41:37Speaker 13: is really wrong. But there's a lack of connection in
- 41:39Speaker 13: some other area. And so now, yeah, our intimacy is
- 41:42Speaker 13: also suffering.
- 41:43Speaker 4: And with.
- 41:45Speaker 2: So what do we do? Michael?
- 41:47Speaker 1: I mean, these people are I just gosh, I could
- 41:50Speaker 1: wish I could tell you the stories. There's just some
- 41:53Speaker 1: stories out there from people I've talked to that are
- 41:55Speaker 1: you know, friends of mine.
- 41:55Speaker 2: They're just miserable.
- 41:56Speaker 1: They're just not and they're just learning to live with
- 42:00Speaker 1: that and justified in a way that I just don't
- 42:03Speaker 1: think people have to.
- 42:04Speaker 2: You could you could get.
- 42:05Speaker 13: Back there right if people knew that you could learn
- 42:09Speaker 13: to connect better, so you could learn to overcome the
- 42:12Speaker 13: bad habits that are escalating conversations and replace those with
- 42:18Speaker 13: better habits that actually create closeness and intimacy and more
- 42:23Speaker 13: respect and more trust instead of destroying the trust and
- 42:28Speaker 13: respect between people. Then then I just still't know that
- 42:32Speaker 13: there would be these kind of affairs that happened because
- 42:34Speaker 13: people are unhappy or unsatisfied in a relationship.
- 42:37Speaker 2: How do we get that insecure in a relationship, Michael,
- 42:41Speaker 2: I mean with the person.
- 42:43Speaker 13: I mean, yeah, go ahead, Well.
- 42:45Speaker 2: I'm just saying.
- 42:46Speaker 1: I mean, you've been with somebody ten years and all
- 42:48Speaker 1: of a sudden you're having an issue, whether it behave
- 42:51Speaker 1: we don't do the we don't do the Sunday thing anymore.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Where we did this and did that. It was so
- 42:56Speaker 2: much fun and so great.
- 42:57Speaker 1: It made me, it made me feel so and then
- 42:59Speaker 1: all of a udd and you're going, well, it's because
- 43:02Speaker 1: of you, or it's because of me, it's because of this,
- 43:04Speaker 1: it's because of that. Instead of working on trying to
- 43:06Speaker 1: fix it. We get insecure about things. You know, we
- 43:08Speaker 1: used to have sex every every couple of days, and
- 43:11Speaker 1: then we had kids and life and blah blah blah,
- 43:13Speaker 1: and now I'm insecure because you don't want me. And
- 43:16Speaker 1: we just get to these points with people that we've
- 43:18Speaker 1: been with forever.
- 43:20Speaker 13: Well, here's a typical thing that happens. This isn't the
- 43:22Speaker 13: only thing that happens. But you know, you gave that example,
- 43:26Speaker 13: and so you're the partner that's missing those Sunday times
- 43:30Speaker 13: together and now you say to your partner, yeah, I
- 43:32Speaker 13: really missed that. I remember we used to do that
- 43:34Speaker 13: every Sunday, you know, when we'd go and we'd go
- 43:36Speaker 13: out for dinner and then we'd have a nice long
- 43:37Speaker 13: drive together, just talk them. You don't do that ever anymore.
- 43:40Speaker 13: And then you say something like, yeah, I've just been
- 43:43Speaker 13: working so hard lately, and by Sunday, I'm just exhausted.
- 43:47Speaker 13: And that's the end of the conversation. And now you
- 43:49Speaker 13: feel rejected. You feel like, wow, I really made a
- 43:52Speaker 13: bid for more connection, and you're just you didn't even
- 43:54Speaker 13: pick up on it. You just kind of went, you
- 43:55Speaker 13: have my times change. And so now I just kind
- 43:58Speaker 13: of booed with that for a while, and it takes
- 43:59Speaker 13: me a long time to ever bring it up again.
- 44:02Speaker 13: When I do, I tend to bring it up the
- 44:03Speaker 13: same way because I haven't really refought a better way
- 44:07Speaker 13: to maybe approach it, or how to really kind of
- 44:10Speaker 13: put my foot down about it, how to really kind
- 44:11Speaker 13: of say, hey, this matters a lot to me and
- 44:13Speaker 13: and it is messing with my head and we've got
- 44:16Speaker 13: to do something as a couple to kind of fill
- 44:19Speaker 13: a gap here. We're not saying that. We just kind
- 44:21Speaker 13: of do the same thing again. We get the same
- 44:23Speaker 13: kind of response, and now we feel like we're beating
- 44:25Speaker 13: our head against the wall. You know what, I brought
- 44:27Speaker 13: this up repeatedly and I just get nothing back, And
- 44:31Speaker 13: so now I may never bring it up again. I
- 44:35Speaker 13: might think, you know, it's just it's useless, Steven Try.
- 44:38Speaker 13: My partner has become somebody who doesn't like to do anything.
- 44:40Speaker 13: They just work all the time and then get tired.
- 44:42Speaker 13: And I just can't live that way. People.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Yeah, hold on a second. I want to talk a
- 44:47Speaker 1: little bit more about that. It's not at four point one.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Hey, Rome, finally, just you and me in the car.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Miss your show. Thank you.
- 44:56Speaker 1: All the teachers listen, Wait, thank you, all the teachers
- 44:59Speaker 1: listen to you. Sweet and sour Bear, have a good day.
- 45:06Speaker 1: You have a good day as well. I'm glad you
- 45:09Speaker 1: guys are enjoying the show.
- 45:10Speaker 2: When I say something funny, it's funny that you funny
- 45:16Speaker 2: that you brought that up.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Yesterday, I was out playing golf and I normally don't
- 45:22Speaker 1: do this, but I don't normally go in the clubhouse
- 45:25Speaker 1: after golf, and just because it's hot, tired, I want
- 45:30Speaker 1: to go home.
- 45:30Speaker 2: But and I was playing by myself, so I really
- 45:34Speaker 2: didn't have no reason.
- 45:34Speaker 1: I said, you know what, I'm gonna go have a beer,
- 45:36Speaker 1: and I walk in and I sit down at the
- 45:39Speaker 1: bar in the clubhouse. Husband and wife walking. I've known
- 45:44Speaker 1: them for I'm not I mean, i've known them for
- 45:48Speaker 1: probably twenty years, right, not personally. I don't hang out
- 45:52Speaker 1: with them, but I do business with different people same
- 45:55Speaker 1: you know, it's kind of running a similar circle, see
- 45:58Speaker 1: them at different events. Hadn't seen him in a few years, so, uh,
- 46:01Speaker 1: because I haven't been going out as much. And the
- 46:04Speaker 1: first thing the husband asked me, is still on the radio?
- 46:09Speaker 1: And I went, yeah, still on the radio. Oh, I
- 46:12Speaker 1: don't listen to the radio anymore. I listened to podcasts.
- 46:16Speaker 2: Okay, that's great. I don't need you to listen to
- 46:19Speaker 2: the radio. I'm good. But I just thought, okay, I don't.
- 46:23Speaker 1: I don't know what point you're trying to prove here
- 46:25Speaker 1: in front of your wife, but okay. After he says that,
- 46:31Speaker 1: his wife goes, hey, Rom, how'd the backpack?
- 46:33Speaker 2: Good boy?
- 46:34Speaker 3: You go?
- 46:36Speaker 2: Who won? And I said, oh, yeah, well, you know,
- 46:42Speaker 2: I started explaining, you know, we gave backback to with Rodriguez.
- 46:44Speaker 2: It's going great.
- 46:46Speaker 1: And then she, uh, she says she asked me about that,
- 46:50Speaker 1: and then she goes, are you gonna do Monday night
- 46:53Speaker 1: football this year? I heard just swing it has a
- 46:54Speaker 1: great has great golf simulators, and I'm going, you're a
- 47:00Speaker 1: husband walked in and I don't know what he was
- 47:03Speaker 1: trying to prove in front of all of this for
- 47:08Speaker 1: his wife just to go yeah, obviously she still listens.
- 47:14Speaker 1: So I thought that was I thought that was absolutely hilarious.
- 47:20Speaker 2: And then he kind of slithered away, and I just thought,
- 47:23Speaker 2: what are you doing, dumbass? What are you trying to prove?
- 47:28Speaker 1: You're trying to look make yourself look better in front
- 47:32Speaker 1: of your wife.
- 47:33Speaker 2: I mean, what, uh, I don't know what you're trying
- 47:37Speaker 2: to do. It was the most awkward exchange.
- 47:40Speaker 13: For this guy.
- 47:41Speaker 1: And well, now I know I would ever go in
- 47:44Speaker 1: the clubhouse. So that was a long way of saying,
- 47:47Speaker 1: I appreciate you listening. I'm glad we got some alone time.
- 47:51Speaker 6: Hey, what's up room?
- 47:52Speaker 2: Really?
- 47:53Speaker 6: Hey, dude. It was just like that about a couple

- 48:00Speaker 6: of the guys that I started talking like, oh, he's
- 48:02Speaker 6: still on the radio. I haven't heard him in a
- 48:04Speaker 6: long time and his wife walks up talking about he's
- 48:06Speaker 6: just one hot wheel ticket from you.
- 48:10Speaker 4: Damn.
- 48:11Speaker 6: I said, you know, I got to work for you guys.
- 48:13Speaker 6: You know, I said, I know you. You got to
- 48:14Speaker 6: hear me on the radio say it all the time.
- 48:16Speaker 6: I said, Hey, they're gonna hate you know that. But
- 48:19Speaker 6: that's that's I mean. They make their sound look so
- 48:21Speaker 6: stupid by acting like that. Room, you know what I mean, like, well,
- 48:24Speaker 6: you know telling you they haven't you know, you're still
- 48:26Speaker 6: on the radio, and when they just want something come on.

- 48:37Speaker 4: We listened to you almost every morning, so much so

- 48:48Speaker 4: Mommy put it on uncle room.
- 48:52Speaker 2: And he's gonna call me uncle.
- 48:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna get him a pack of cools and a
- 48:55Speaker 1: tall boy and give him some bad advice.
- 48:57Speaker 8: Then, okay, I about you.
- 49:01Speaker 14: I'll take it for my daddy.
- 49:05Speaker 2: That's awesome. That's awesome. All right, thanks for calling. I'm
- 49:10Speaker 2: gonna tell you something right now. Yeah. I don't care
- 49:15Speaker 2: nothing bothers me.
- 49:16Speaker 1: I mean, I love it that you guys call when
- 49:18Speaker 1: I tell you I just tell you these stories because
- 49:20Speaker 1: I know you guys go through it. I know you
- 49:22Speaker 1: guys will be out and you'll run into somebody you
- 49:26Speaker 1: ain't seen in a while, and for some reason, they
- 49:27Speaker 1: want to put you down, or they want to try
- 49:29Speaker 1: to embarrass you for whatever reason, or degrade you for
- 49:32Speaker 1: some stupid reason, when I don't know why. Maybe because
- 49:36Speaker 1: their lives are that miserable. I mean, I'm not really sure.
- 49:39Speaker 1: But I don't tell you these stories to make me
- 49:41Speaker 1: feel better. I could care less. My life is great,
- 49:46Speaker 1: everything is great. I don't have a care in the world,
- 49:50Speaker 1: and you know, I just don't. And I know a
- 49:54Speaker 1: lot out there that feel the same way. Actually, all
- 49:56Speaker 1: my friends that I hang out with feel the same way.
- 49:58Speaker 1: They just don't have a care in the world.
- 50:01Speaker 13: And it's just so.
- 50:06Speaker 2: I appreciate it, though, but it is what it is.

- 50:18Speaker 1: You run into, you run into somebody who ain't seen
- 50:20Speaker 1: a while, you run into a family member, and they
- 50:23Speaker 1: just want to make themselves look better than you for
- 50:25Speaker 1: whatever reason. Who you trying to impress because you're not
- 50:29Speaker 1: hurting my feelings. I mean, unless you're trying to impress
- 50:32Speaker 1: your wife. I'm not really sure why, because you're not
- 50:35Speaker 1: hurting my feelings.
- 50:37Speaker 2: A room.

- 50:56Speaker 1: are d bags, you know. I just here's what I
- 51:00Speaker 1: don't understand about people. And you guys will all know this,

- 51:09Speaker 1: cannot be happier for people that succeed, that do better things.
- 51:14Speaker 2: And I don't know.
- 51:15Speaker 1: If you're my friend, and I just want to see
- 51:18Speaker 1: you do better and I don't care, you know, I
- 51:21Speaker 1: want you to be happy and be better, and if
- 51:24Speaker 1: you do better than me, I don't care. I'm not
- 51:26Speaker 1: a jealous person, I guess. But all these guys are
- 51:28Speaker 1: like these suckers out here, and you.
- 51:32Speaker 2: Guys all know them.
- 51:33Speaker 1: Instead of just being happy with their own lives, they
- 51:36Speaker 1: got to make sure they bring yours down to their level.
- 51:40Speaker 1: But that's why I tell you these stories, so that
- 51:42Speaker 1: you guys, because you guys can all relate. You guys
- 51:43Speaker 1: have all been in that position before. You know, Hey,

- 57:34Speaker 1: happy every time I come home. They never have a
- 57:38Speaker 1: bad day. When I get home, they don't. They all
- 57:42Speaker 1: run to the door, their tails are wagging. They want
- 57:44Speaker 1: to hang out, and they want me to pet them.
- 57:45Speaker 1: They they are never never, ever have they ever had

- 57:55Speaker 1: and they don't even say hi to you. Kids are
- 57:58Speaker 1: on the phone, kids are on the tablets, their computers

- 59:15Speaker 1: wants to go out to dinner.
- 59:18Speaker 2: Exactly. Your dogs don't want none from you except for

- 59:32Speaker 1: at bad days. Some of your kids started high school,
- 59:35Speaker 1: some of your kids started junior high. I think Raiter
- 59:38Speaker 1: Dave's daughter started junior high. Some of your kids started
- 59:41Speaker 1: elementary school. I mean, how was it?
- 59:44Speaker 2: What happened?
- 59:44Speaker 1: Anything good? Your kids have a good day already? Four two, five,
- 59:49Speaker 1: four or seven seven?

- 1:00:14Speaker 2: I don't know what he did, I asked him. He
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: said he didn't even know.
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: Hop.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: It sounds like you went out drinking. Uh came home
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: with one shoelace.
- 1:00:24Speaker 13: Huh?
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: How do you how do you lose? How do you
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: lose a shoelace?
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: By the way, I can understand a fourth grader ripping
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: his jeans, He's out there playing having fun.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: You know that happening.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: But how the heck do you lose a shoelace that's

- 1:02:13Speaker 1: rob Yeah, what happened? How was your kids first day
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: of school?
- 1:02:16Speaker 9: All right?

- 1:03:05Speaker 1: when we left him, so I called the check in
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: on the check in on him, and he was still crying.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: I called my husband and told him that he was
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: still crying, and my husband said, well, are you going
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: to go pick him up?
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: I said no, he's got to learn.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: Well, Rome, my husband went by and grabbed my son
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: because he was crying on his first day of school.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Wouldn't stop. Yeah, that's not a good thing. You got
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: to let that kid roll, man, You got to let
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: him cry through that day. Yeah, your husband doesn't really
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: know what he's doing. Huh, sounds like you're the better parent.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: Would you send me here? Hey, Rome really, I got
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: five on it at the kid's school, and he wondered
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: why they call him an idiot. Well, Raider rob Is
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: does some dumb things. Yes, I would say that he
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: is a Raider fan. So okay, Hey, good morning, Romeo.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: I hope the kid had a great first day of school. Man,
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: I hope these kids had a great first day of school.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: Here's here's my morning, rent. Some of these parents, let
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: me tell you, I live by in elementary school. These
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: parents need a clue when going to pick up their kids.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Get there early. Don't double park, or park on the
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: corners or block driveways. Parents need to respect the residents
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: that live there. Thank you have a good day, Yeah
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: they do.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: You're right, We agree with you.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: There are a bunch of dumb asses and lazy dumb
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: asses at that, Hey, rom my twins. My twins started
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: ninth grade. My little one started fourth grade. And when
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: I picked them up, he said, Mom, Papa didn't didn't
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: take my picture.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: Oh oh, this is the one, the one that sent
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: me about the no dress code. Girls in short short skirts,
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: spaghetti straped shirts, and wearing chocolate. Yeah. Oh you seen
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: them on social Well, stay off social media. All you
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: gotta do is stay off social media. Guess what you
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: don't have to be on social media, hey Romeo.
- 1:04:59Speaker 12: Overall, it was a successful first day back to school.
- 1:05:02Speaker 4: For my daughter.
- 1:05:03Speaker 11: Okay, she said it was boring.
- 1:05:07Speaker 12: I asked her, you know, how was it and she said,
- 1:05:09Speaker 12: I was boring, just you know, getting everybody situated.
- 1:05:12Speaker 10: The one thing I did notice, though, was I bought
- 1:05:14Speaker 10: my child two pair of.
- 1:05:16Speaker 12: Shoes, and she still went to school in an old
- 1:05:20Speaker 12: pair of shoes.
- 1:05:24Speaker 13: And I asked her, why why did you wear your shoes?
- 1:05:27Speaker 8: Oh?
- 1:05:27Speaker 10: I was, I'm gonna wear them this week, you know,
- 1:05:29Speaker 10: Oh I don't want a dirty And I said.
- 1:05:30Speaker 11: That's the whole point. I bought him for you, so
- 1:05:31Speaker 11: you can go back to school fresh, like Romeo said,
- 1:05:34Speaker 11: And you got your old.
- 1:05:35Speaker 13: Beat up shoes on her?
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: Yeah, you gotta go fresh, you gotta fly on your
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: first day.
- 1:05:40Speaker 11: And she said they're there because they're comfortable. She liked
- 1:05:42Speaker 11: them because they're comfortable and pee and everything.
- 1:05:44Speaker 12: So I said, okay, but.
- 1:05:45Speaker 11: Let me see you wear these new shoes are I'm
- 1:05:47Speaker 11: gonna take them back. I got ninety days.
- 1:05:52Speaker 12: And an another thing, Romeo, there was a lot of
- 1:05:54Speaker 12: hot mom activity out there.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: There's always hot mom activity at the schools man.
- 1:06:00Speaker 11: And you know there's one thing that these hot moms
- 1:06:02Speaker 11: are attracted to, and that's a responsible dad. So you know,
- 1:06:06Speaker 11: Raider Day was out there pumping out his chest walking
- 1:06:09Speaker 11: my daughter to class and goodbye, I turn wait to
- 1:06:12Speaker 11: see you or did shoot?
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: And hot moms are a sure thing.
- 1:06:15Speaker 11: So yeah, yeah, it was really really so I can't
- 1:06:17Speaker 11: wait to up today, see what I see today.
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: I will be there.
- 1:06:20Speaker 13: Picking her up every day, eteen minutes early.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: All right, La, that's funny, all right? So what happened?
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: How was your kids first day of school? Already?
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: Four two, five, four, seven to seven. I got to
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: tell you guys something funny though about uh.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: How out of touch?
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: I am a buddy of mine, his daughter is a
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: senior in high school, and I was asking him, Hey,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: do you take her to school? He said, nah, she
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: rode the bus. I said, and she's a senior. He goes, well, yeah,
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: how old is she supposed to get?
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: I said, her own. You don't got a car yet?
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: Well no, he said, no, she don't got a car.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: And I was like, I thought, He goes, what do
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: you think? I go, I thought all seniors just had cars.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: I just assume that if you're a senior in high school,
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: you drive yourself to school. I mean the parking lot school.
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: I just assume they're all that's the senior class. Apparently
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: not Hello, good morning, Hey, what's up?
- 1:07:22Speaker 5: So my kids' birthday at school?
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: Yeah, what happened?
- 1:07:26Speaker 14: So if first grade comes.
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: Out, second grade comes out. Here comes my third grader.
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: He's like, how was your day?
- 1:07:33Speaker 15: Amazing?
- 1:07:34Speaker 5: Mom, so much.
- 1:07:35Speaker 14: Better than miss Cooke.
- 1:07:37Speaker 5: There goes my second grade teacher, standing right in front
- 1:07:40Speaker 5: of him. When he says that, cars around and looks
- 1:07:46Speaker 5: at my son like, I'm so glad that you're not
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: my student again this year.
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: Oh that's great. Oh kids are great? Man, kids?
- 1:07:59Speaker 8: Really?
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: Oh that's awesome. All right, Well, thanks for college. I
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: appreciate it already. Bore to you by boys seven to
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: seven yard roam.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: So did you have a car when you were a
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: senior in high school? Because I didn't either. I did
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: not have a car when I was a senior in
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: high school. But we were poor. You know, my buddy's rich.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: My buddy can't get his kid a car for senior
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: in high school. I mean, you got enough money. Him
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: and his wife make good money, make good.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: I was poor. We couldn't afford a car.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: So all right, I didn't get my first car till
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: I was in Uh jeez, when I got my first car,
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: wasn't a senior in high school.
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: I might have been in college. Check this out. My
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: crazy dog brought in a dead bird. I don't know how.
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: I don't know where she found it. I don't know what.
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: But I go in to the bedroom and on the
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: bed there's just feathers everywhere. I don't know if this
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: is normal. I don't know what kind of crazy thing
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: my dog's going through.
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: But it was.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: Just incredible. I don't know if she was like just
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: sitting there chewing on it, laying on the bed, but
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: it was nasty. Boy, Oh it's nasty.
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: Who does that brings in it? I mean, don't cats.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: I guess cats bring in dead animals right when they
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: catch them, but uh, I didn't know dogs did that.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: But yeah, the dog, it was so weird already four
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: two five, four or seven to seven. The dog was
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: just laying there on the bed with a dead bird.
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: It was.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Yeah, it was pretty nasty, just feathers everywhere. It was
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: actually kind of gross, to be honest with you.
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: But yeah, I don't know.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: Uh, I don't know if the dog caught the bird
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: and killed it. I don't know if the bird was
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: already dead. How the dog found the bird dead in
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: the back. I have no idea what happened, but it
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: ended up in my house. It was gross already four two, five, fours,
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: seven to seven.
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: Is that normal?
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: By the way, is it normal for that to happen?
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: I have no idea though my dog brought in a
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: dead bird. Now, she's just a little chihuahua and she
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: never has done anything like that before.
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: It was so crazy. And by the time I caught it,
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: it was on my bed and she's.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Feathers everywhere, and I think, if I remember correctly, she
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: was just sitting there chewing on this dead bird.
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: Now, I don't know if she caught it or not.
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: I don't think she's capable of that.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: So there must have been a dead bird in the
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: backyard and she found it, and why she brought it in,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: I have no idea. Apparently you guys are telling me
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: that's kind of normal. It's not out of the ordinary
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: for dogs to bring you other dead animals for some reason.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: But I don't think she caught it already. Four two, five, four,
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: seven to seven, Come morning out, what's going on? Hey?
- 1:10:58Speaker 6: My dogs would bring me a bird.
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: They only need to come. Oh god, that's gross.
- 1:11:05Speaker 8: When you open that back door, and I'm like, oh, man,
- 1:11:07Speaker 8: ain't not some more? And there's always at least like
- 1:11:09Speaker 8: two or three though, cat but they tear them up,
- 1:11:12Speaker 8: and man, these dogs thinking.
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: Oh that's that's terrible.
- 1:11:16Speaker 8: Well, I guess you're good that bird better get the weapon, getting.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Right alrighty boards even to seven yo roam.
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: Uh, maybe your dog was just trying to pants rent
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: with a dead bird. Oh god, oh that's pretty funny.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: Oh man, I can't yeah, I don't know. It was
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: gross though, it really was gross. So the other day, uh,
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: my little dog, my little.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: Chahuahua, brought in a dead bird right onto my bed,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: feathers everywhere, just I didn't even I didn't by the
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: time I realized that it was just tore up everything everywhere.
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: Is that normal for dogs to do? My dog's never
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: done that before. I mean, I have no idea what's
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: going on.
- 1:12:02Speaker 14: Hey, good morning, Romeo.
- 1:12:03Speaker 6: What I'm in I just want to say, yeah, you know,
- 1:12:06Speaker 6: dogs are animals. They resort back to their natural natural ways.
- 1:12:11Speaker 6: They won't hunt, and yeah, I mean dogs.
- 1:12:14Speaker 9: Do that, that's a normal thing for him.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: I had this dog for like ten I think I've
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: had it for like ten yor she ain't never done
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: that before.
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: She don't even get off the couch, all a cat,
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: you know.
- 1:12:25Speaker 14: And then she was like, oh, yeah, this is a toy.
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: Maybe toys, Okay, maybe that's what I with them.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: I never seen that, have my lever And all this
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: time I've had these dogs, I've never they've never brought
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: anything in the house like that, a dead animal.
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 1:12:44Speaker 6: It's because you got to clean it up.
- 1:12:46Speaker 14: But you know, they show you nothing but love.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I know you got a level, you know. Yeah,
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: I don't argue with that. I know he'll BET's everywhere.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: I had to go take a dead bird out of
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: my house. It was nuttier than hell it was. It
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: was actually kind of nasty. Do I think maybe the
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: dog was just sitting there chewing on the bird like
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: a toy. I guess it's normal, right, I've they've never
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: done it before. I mean, I got she's like the
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: most homely dog there is. She don't ever she goes
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: outside for a little while if you go outside with her,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: but most of the time she hangs out in the house.
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: Crazy already, four two five, four seven to seven. So yeah,
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: I had this.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: Uh, one of my dogs, one of my little chow
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: was brought in a dead bird, and I guess was
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: just sitting in the sitting in the house and the
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: bed chewing on it because there was feathers everywhere when
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: I found out, and a dead bird. It was gross already,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: four two uh five four seven to seven.
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: Hey, good morning, rome Good morning Romeo.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: I have a dog that's three years old and six
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: month old puppy. The puppy has been bringing in pieces
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: of twigs into the house and using it as chew toy.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: I don't know why.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: I don't know which one did it, but I was
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: picking up what I thought was pieces of wood, and
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: actually it was a lizard shredded up into pieces.
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: Good times.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: Wow, what kind of skills does your dog have to
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: catch a lizard? Those things are quick?
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: Good morning? Not what's going on?
- 1:14:22Speaker 6: Romeo, Rob Rob so brother.
- 1:14:25Speaker 8: Hey, Usually when my dog does that, it's because I'm
- 1:14:29Speaker 8: either getting on to her for dragging something around or
- 1:14:33Speaker 8: moving something, or going out and staying out too late,
- 1:14:36Speaker 8: or just you know, like if she wants to feel sorry,
- 1:14:39Speaker 8: she'll bring something to my bed, usually one of my
- 1:14:41Speaker 8: dirty socks or my girl. But never does she go back.
- 1:14:46Speaker 8: I don't think she'll go out and metal bird or
- 1:14:47Speaker 8: anything like that.
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: I don't this dog could not.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: I don't think this dog has the skills to kill
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: a bird. Must have found it one, but yeah, she must.
- 1:14:55Speaker 8: Have founded or something and said, hey, I'm gonna take
- 1:14:57Speaker 8: it to my owner because he did something nice to me,
- 1:15:00Speaker 8: heed at me.
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: These dogs got personalities. That's crazy man, all right, rider,
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: thanks for coming by that. I had a dog once
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: that ate a couch. I left her. I left her
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: home alone. And I don't know if she was mad
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: because I left her.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: Home alone or bored or whatever, but she literally ate
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: my couch damn near ate didn't have ripped it apart.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: I mean she was a good sized dog. She was
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: a she's a part Wattweiler and part of a shepherd.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: But uh yeah, she ate my couch. I had to
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: get rid of it, that's.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: How bad she ate it.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: So yeah, I don't know never bought a dead animal
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: in though, but I ate my couch dog brought in
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: a dead bird and was just laying on the bed
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: chewing it up, feathers everywhere.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: It was gross. Good morning, what's going on?
- 1:15:55Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 1:15:56Speaker 4: I used to a hug when it was like about
- 1:15:59Speaker 4: a year old. I finally got a parakeet, but it
- 1:16:02Speaker 4: was blue and oh my god. So I was trying
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: to train these this parakeet because I was good at
- 1:16:07Speaker 4: training the bird that we had, you know, to fly
- 1:16:10Speaker 4: to my shoulder head and sing the cougarata phone. And
- 1:16:15Speaker 4: so this damn bird, like we caught her.
- 1:16:18Speaker 13: That's how I got her.
- 1:16:19Speaker 4: And she was so smart, but at this moment, she
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: was acting so dumb that she went ahead and she's
- 1:16:24Speaker 4: trying to run away. But since the dog was kind
- 1:16:26Speaker 4: of you know, like oh my god, in the puppy stage, still,
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: she ran into the curtain which then she freaked out,
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: so she flew into the wall, went ahead and did
- 1:16:38Speaker 4: like the whole cartoon thing where she like slid all
- 1:16:41Speaker 4: the way down from the wall, literally like a cartoon
- 1:16:45Speaker 4: that I was freaking out, you know. And then my
- 1:16:47Speaker 4: pug he goes and he runs, and I thought, you know,
- 1:16:50Speaker 4: she was safe behind the couch. Nope. We turned around.
- 1:16:53Speaker 4: This dog had her in her mouth, in his mouth,
- 1:16:56Speaker 4: and the parakeets just like, oh my god. We're like,
- 1:16:59Speaker 4: oh my god.
- 1:17:00Speaker 13: You look.
- 1:17:00Speaker 4: We didn't know if he was gonna bite her or
- 1:17:02Speaker 4: if he's you know, just catching her. We got it
- 1:17:04Speaker 4: out of its mouth, and I kid not that parakeet
- 1:17:08Speaker 4: never went ahead and just flew away like crazy.
- 1:17:11Speaker 6: She learned her lesson.
- 1:17:12Speaker 4: He was just trying to catch her. Yeah, no, yeah,
- 1:17:16Speaker 4: he just he would just like you know how like
- 1:17:18Speaker 4: dogs they move their puppies, but like how animals they
- 1:17:21Speaker 4: moved thereby Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, No, you were just
- 1:17:24Speaker 4: holding her for us.
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: That's pretty good, that's pretty funny.
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: No, there, they're smart. So I'm pretty sure your dog
- 1:17:31Speaker 4: just brought you like a like a gift.
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: Yeah, that's she could bring cash. She doesn't mean to
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: bring a dead bird.
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: Right, I'm like, no, you guys need to bring in
- 1:17:41Speaker 4: some money, like it crows. We need to train him.
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: Thanks your God money.
- 1:17:47Speaker 4: But man, yeah, that turkey learned less, ran away for
- 1:17:50Speaker 4: the last time.
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: Larious. All right, thanks it Romeo.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: Our cat brought a dead bird in today as well.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Our roommate said it's a gift or a peace offer,
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: a seat piece offering. Yeah, I don't, okay, I yeah,
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: I never heard of that before. I never I never
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: heard of that before.
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: I mean the cat, I mean, the dog just was
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: sitting on the sitting on the bed, chewing on a
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: dead bird. Flower or flowers, feathers everywhere. Alrighty forts seven
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: to seven. Hey, Roam, Raider Rob's dog has a curfew.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: Never heard of a Raider dog ever having a curfew. Okay,
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: I don't know what that means. But okay, what did
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: you send me? Somebody sent me a video of a dog.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: Let me see what the dog's doing. Oh geez, what
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: the dog just bit the camera? Hey, Roam, I just
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: told my dog she can't be on the couch. She
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: made me catch two paws?
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: Oh it was the video?
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: Is the dog trying to get just going after the
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: own Yeah, it's funny. Yeah, I don't care if my
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: dogs are on the couch for the bed. They don't
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: bother me, and so this is kind of funny. Yesterday
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: we were talking about school clothes before we got out
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: of here, and today's the first day of school, so
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: I hope everybody's got their new school clothes on. But
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: I was we were joking about kangaroos. I used to
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: wear kangaroos to school. Those were my school shoes, and
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: we bought them at the hardware store in the reservation.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: And so somebody texted me man Rome. As a kid,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: I thought kangaroo's shoes were the best. I did run faster.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: I remember the rubber soul used to come off after
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: a while.
- 1:19:36Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: And they had a pocket in them, the kangaroos, and
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: they had that little pocket in there to keep money.
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: For those of you that don't know me anything about kangaroos,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: uh Yo Rome. Which team do you think will do
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: surprisingly good this NFL season? I couldn't even answer that
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: question right now. I haven't paid attention to any of
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: the teams. I mean, I know some of these guys
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: are coming off good season, but I haven't paid attention
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: to any football So I couldn't even uh, I couldn't
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: even answer that question for you.
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: Sorry, let me look. Hold on, hey, roam, Hey, my kidd,
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: he eats bugs. Oh your cad he's but.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: Yeah, those animals, man, they're weird. Hold on, let me
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: look at the teams. I have to look at the
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: teams first to see.
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: Okay, so.
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: I think Denver's probably gonna do well. The Los Angeles
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: Chargers could be surprising this year. Although I don't believe
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: in Herbert. I don't think he's a great quarterback. I
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: believe in their coach. So maybe the Chargers could do well. Obviously,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Buffalo is probably gonna be Buffalo. They'll just lose in
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: the playoffs. Yeah, I don't really see anything. Maybe the Bears.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: The Bears were pretty solid last year, right.
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: Didn't they do well? Packers? I don't know. That's a
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: very good question, and I have no insight. I don't know.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: I don't think I can answer that question very well.
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: Already four two, five, four, seven to seven Yo rom
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: hit that Raider song preseason this week? When does preseason
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: start tomorrow? I think preseason starts? Is that when preseason
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: football starts?
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: Hold on tomorrow.
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: Today's Wednesday, right, Yeah, tomorrow that starts where we have
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: the thirteenth. Oh yeah, thirteenth. Preseason starts tomorrow. We'orth the
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: twelfth right now? Yeah? Yeah, Well you'll get the Raider song.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: When you get the Raider song, probably not till the
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: season starts. Preseason's ridiculous, preseason, no matter. But why I
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: got the new Raider song. I'll get it out to
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: you already. Four two, five, fours seven seven That first
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: day of school? Are your kids up right now?
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: I don't know what time does school start? Anyways, I
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: don't even know.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: I actually don't even know when school starts. Seven thirty,
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: eight thirty. Your mom's and dad should be up right
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: now getting your kids ready for.
- 1:21:59Speaker 6: School, or.
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: Or at least uh first day of school. That's hilarious,
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: all right.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: So it was funny yesterday we were talking a little
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: bit about somebody was mad. A guy texted me and
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: he was saying how his wife was mad at him
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: for not taking the day off to go to school
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: to take the kids to school.
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: And I was thinking, and I thought that was kind
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: of crazy.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: Dude's got to go to work, man, He's got to
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: you know, somebody's got to pay the mortgage. Right My
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: trained her the same way, had to cancel the class
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: because he's got to take his kid to school. Ooh, yeah,
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: your kids don't care. I mean, all your kids care
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: about is the first day of school. Whether it be
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: the kindergarten, maybe it's the Why do both parents have
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: to take him to school?
- 1:22:43Speaker 4: Where?
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: Where does that? Where does that logic come from? Especially
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: if it's like third grade. You know, I can understand kindergarten.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: Maybe maybe your first day of junior high that's a
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: that's a change. Maybe your first day of high school
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: that's something new. That is uh can be a little
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: you know, cause a little anxiety for your kids because
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: they're going to a new school. But I mean, come
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: on now, whoever has to be at work, go to work.
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: Whoever takes the kids to school, just take them to
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: school like it's any other day. I mean, what you
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: guys are ridiculous. Some of your parents are just ridiculous
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: when it comes to the first day of school, unless,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: like I said, it might be that moment, you know,
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: where it's their very first day of school. You might
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: want to be their photos. Very interesting how things have
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: changed over the years when it comes to the first
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: day of school, let's just say here, Oh, Raider Dave,
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: what Raider Dave?
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: Send me?
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: Hey, Roam, keep that Raider song in the trash where
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: it belongs, Raider Dave. Well, bout that Raider song out
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: a little bit. Not today, We'll get to it when
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: football season starts. Uh, don't worry, Raider Dave.
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: I'll get it for you.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: I'll pull it out the trash here a couple weeks.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: It's a good one and a bad one. Yeah, it's funny,
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: all right, eight four four, seven to seven, your roam. Hey,
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: I'm glad these kids are going back to school. I'm
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: gonna drop my kids off at school. I'm gonna go
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: have some breakfast.
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: Just relax.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: My husband's at work. I'm on my own room today.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: It's gonna be great.
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: You're right. Both parents don't have to take their kids
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: to school. Well, they don't.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: It's going back to school is not a milestone moment
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: unless it's like the very first day or maybe the
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: first day.
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: Of high school something like that.
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: But nah, all right, today's the first day of school.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: Some of you it's the first day of school. Ever,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: some of each your first day at high school. Some
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: of you it's the first day of middle school. So
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: do a new school's your first day there? Would you
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: send me here? Hey, roam, being there for your children
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: first day of school is not just about the photo.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: It's about another milestone in their lives. Well, let me
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: tell you this, and I'm gonna tell you this. Fourth
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: grade milestone in their life. Okay, kindergarten, Maybe first grade
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: is a milestone. If you go into the first day
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: freshman high school a milestone you're going new So no,
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: but like you guys are talking about. Oh, like the
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: guy yesterday his wife wanted she was like going into
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: third grade or something and was mad at her husband
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: for going to work instead.
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: Of taking it.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: That's not a mildstone, Okay. Milestones are when you're going
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: to a new school. Uh maybe, okay, maybe obviously the
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: first day of school, ever is a milestone.
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: Maybe the first and maybe maybe.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: In college tending your kid to college, that's a milestone. Yeah,
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: but come on, man, you people go way too far
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: with it. Fourth day is just a fourth grade is
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: just another grade, man. Milestones are you know, if you're
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: gonna be there for your kids, stones are when they
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: get awards, awards, ceremonies, they're sporting events.
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: Things like that that you should be at.
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: You're gonna get mad at somebody or trying to degrade
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: somebody because he has to go to work instead of
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: going to the first day of fifth grade. Yeah, you're
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: being a little ridiculous. Oh, let me finish this text message.
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: They won't get another first day of third grade. I'm devastated.
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: I'm missing my son and my daughter's first day, but
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: I have to work, so my wife is handling it.
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: But if I could take the time off, I would. Yeah,
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: that's just ridiculous for you to feel that way.
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: Going to work is far more important than third grade.
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: Oh, they never get to go to third grade. Okay,
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: so you missed first day of third grade? Right, you
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: didn't take the pictures at home?
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: You didn't. I mean, come on, now, you guys are
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: being a little ridiculous. Okay, you do there.
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: I applaud you for wanting to be with your kids
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: and take care of them. But let's be honest about it. Okay,
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: third grade doesn't matter. The first day of third grade
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: doesn't matter. Now you show it for the teacher parent
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: teacher conference. You show up for the awards ceremonies, you
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: show up. Yeah, those are far more important than the
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: first day of third grade.
- 1:27:18Speaker 12: So Romeo, yesterday I took my daughter to her first
- 1:27:23Speaker 12: day of junior high and I took the day off.
- 1:27:25Speaker 12: And I don't know how to feel.
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: Yesterday school started yesterday.
- 1:27:29Speaker 11: Well not not yesterday to get her schedule.
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: Oh god.
- 1:27:32Speaker 8: So I took the day off.
- 1:27:33Speaker 11: Because my wife was giving me a hard time, saying, no,
- 1:27:36Speaker 11: you have to go take her this and that.
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: But it was a little sad.
- 1:27:42Speaker 4: Wow, what.
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: Okay, I can't go with you.
- 1:27:46Speaker 6: I did it.
- 1:27:47Speaker 11: But when I get there, as soon as she made
- 1:27:51Speaker 11: me feel like an uber driver, she was like, get lost.
- 1:27:53Speaker 11: Go wait in the car, found four of her friends.
- 1:27:57Speaker 11: They took off when you see their classes. Thirty minutes later,
- 1:28:00Speaker 11: she came back and was like, okay, I'm ready to.
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: Get Okay, you're a great dad. You're an idiot, but
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: you're a great dad.
- 1:28:07Speaker 6: I know.
- 1:28:08Speaker 8: Hey, that's what PTO is for.
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: Get out of it. He's such a war on. Oh
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: my god.
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: All right, yeah, no, yeah, you guys are dumb. Hey, room,
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: you're right, third fourth grade aren't milestones. But I can
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: tell you it matters to their little hearts. I'm gonna
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: tell you that it does not when you're when your
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: kids look back at you as a parent, they're not
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: gonna give a damn that you didn't go to fourth
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: grade the first day of fourth grade. Okay, they're not even.
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: Gonna remember it. They're gonna remember if you miss that, that.
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: Uh that that what's the thing where you go check
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: out the classrooms and you see what they've done. They're
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: gonna remember that. They're gonna remember you didn't show up
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: to their game. They're gonna remember if you weren't there
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: for their graduation. They're gonna remember if you weren't there
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: for their awards ceremonies when they're looking back. But they're
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: not going to know, and they're not gonna remember you
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: weren't there for the first day of third grade.
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: And if you think they.
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: Are, you are wildly overvaluing yourself when it comes to
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: being a parent.
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: I'm just saying, all right.
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: And I'm not saying I'm not saying don't go if
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: you can't. What I'm saying is you can't be upset
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: at your husband. He can't go because he has to
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: go to work. He's not missing he is not doing
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: anything wrong. That is not a milestone, and your kids
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: will never remember it. Your kids are not gonna remember
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: that dad had to work on the first day of
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: third grade. They're not even gonna think twice about it, okay,
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: and they're not gonna hold a grudge against you because
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: of it.
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: All right, what did you send me here?
- 1:29:50Speaker 11: Oh my god?
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: What is wrong with you?
- 1:29:52Speaker 6: Hey?
- 1:29:52Speaker 3: Room?
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: The fourth grade may be a milestone to some, especially
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: if their kids are dumb as rocks.
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: They may be spri they made it that far. Come on,
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: that's just stupid. Everybody makes it the fourth grade. Yeah. No,
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: all I'm saying is you can't.
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: You can't be mad at your spouse because your spouse
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: has to go to work on the first day of school.
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: Okay, it's just not.
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: You know, it's a milestone. I mean, it's not a milestone.
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: The very first day of school ever's a milestone. Okay
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: after that, Look at Rayder Dave. He just called and
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: said that he took his kid to pick up her
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: schedule yesterday.
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: He didn't even he was an uber driver.
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: I mean, you kids do not think like you think
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: that your kids love you to death and will pick
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: and choose why they love you for death or why
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: they love you to death, and how good of a
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: parent you were based on what they believe is important. Okay,
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: kids don't about the first day of school as much
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: as you think they do.
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: That you're there, I mean, they don't want to go
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: on their own. One parent should be there, absolutely, of course.
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: But come on already four two, five, four or seven
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: to seven and throwing me out top of thirty four
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: point one, I aty four point one, the rhythm of
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: the valley. It's Romeo, all right, what did you send
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: me here? Hey, Roam, you're talking about the first day
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: of school. My son is moving to Fresno to go
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: to Fresno State. He starts in a couple of weeks.
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: My husband says he's not gonna go to help him move.
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: Rome What do you think about that? I think college
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: is a mildstone that you're a horrible parent. If you
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: don't take your kid to college, if you make your
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: kid do it all on his own or her own, then, uh,
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: you're a terrible parent.
- 1:31:39Speaker 2: No, you gotta go.
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: That's that's a huge step in the kid's life, especially
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: since they're moving.
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: Out of your house.
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: And they're uh, well, hell, they're probably moving out of town,
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: maybe out of state.
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: Heck, no, you got to take your kid. What is
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: wrong with him?
- 1:31:55Speaker 8: You know?
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: I don't care if he doesn't take your kid to
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: fourth grade? First day of fourth grade, but first day
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: of college.
- 1:32:02Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's a milestone. You gotta go.
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: Today is the first day of school, right. I am
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: interested in how your kids dressed, did they? Because I
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: remember when I was in school, Man, it didn't matter
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: whether it was first grade, high school, whatever it was.
- 1:32:17Speaker 2: You had to look good on that first day at school.
- 1:32:20Speaker 2: Your shoes were.
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: Clean, you got a nice set of jeans, you know,
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: a nice clean pair of jeans, brand new shirt, brand
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: new pants, brand new hat, whatever it was. And nowadays
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: these kids just look slazy and sloppy. They I don't
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: do kids even still dress up for school.
- 1:32:37Speaker 13: You know.
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: The way we were talking the other day about school
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: clothes shopping or how much you guys spent on school clothes,
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: it didn't seem like you guys were spending much at all.
- 1:32:48Speaker 2: So kind of makes me wonder.
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: Do kids today they look? Are they looking tight fitted,
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: got their haircut, ready to go? Where are they looking
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: sloppy and crocs and jama bottoms. I mean, just something
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: they should have, should never walk out of the house.
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: And I hope you, I hope some of your parents
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: are are installing a little pride in your kids to
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: look well, to look you know, it looks at least
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: look decently dressed when they go to school. You know,
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: maybe only for the first day, if that right already four, two, five,
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: four or seven seven.
- 1:33:23Speaker 3: It's good morning, Romeo.
- 1:33:25Speaker 2: What's up.
- 1:33:26Speaker 3: I'm the proud mother of three graduates. My baby just
- 1:33:29Speaker 3: graduated last year, so I get to come home from
- 1:33:31Speaker 3: work and go to sleep. But I could tell you
- 1:33:34Speaker 3: my son in high school last year, all I ever
- 1:33:36Speaker 3: seen was kids in pajama bottoms and sandels. And I
- 1:33:40Speaker 3: remember I was a class of ninety nine. We were
- 1:33:44Speaker 3: not allowed to wear sandels, we were not allowed to
- 1:33:46Speaker 3: wear pajamas, take blankets.
- 1:33:48Speaker 4: And now that's all these.
- 1:33:49Speaker 3: Kids do these days.
- 1:33:50Speaker 2: Absolutely ridiculous.
- 1:33:51Speaker 3: It looks.
- 1:33:52Speaker 4: It's sad.
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: It's sad that they don't have enough pride in themselves
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: to look good when they go out to.
- 1:33:58Speaker 2: To at least, you know, look decent. You know, that's embarrassing.
- 1:34:02Speaker 3: I made my kids, I tell them, and you got
- 1:34:05Speaker 3: no you guys are not sloppy. I don't care.
- 1:34:07Speaker 11: You guys are going to get dressed.
- 1:34:08Speaker 3: And if I'm especially if i'm buying your clothes, you
- 1:34:11Speaker 3: are going to go to school trick.
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: Yeah, well, good for you. I'm glad to hear.
- 1:34:15Speaker 3: Parents do no more for your kids, make them be
- 1:34:19Speaker 3: more preventable.
- 1:34:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm glad to hear. Thanks for calling.
- 1:34:22Speaker 8: I appreciate robots now.
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: Yeah, we do, all right, thanks for calling, right already?
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: Fourteen four seven to seven.
- 1:34:32Speaker 2: I mean, she ain't lying.
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: Man, Come on, you have a little pride in yourself,
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: you know, when you go out in public. Hey, good morning,
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: rome it's skill right here. I remember back in the
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: day I lived. The first day of school, you wore
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: your best outfit in the class would smell clean, smell
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: like favolosa.
- 1:34:55Speaker 2: Yeah, man, first are school, bro, everybody look clean? You
- 1:34:58Speaker 2: know what I'm saying.
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: Fourteen five four seven seven, Hey Romeo, I got my
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: son up for school today. I bought that fool a
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: brand new pair of shoes. This kid came down in
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: his old shoes ready to go to school. What do
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: you think about that? That sounds about right, hey, Romeo.
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: I just got to tell you how my morning went
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: so far. I got my kids up, I got up
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: early before I go to work. I made them all
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: breakfast to get them ready for school. They didn't want
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: to eat it. They said they would get something at school. Now,
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: mind you, Roam, these are high school kids. I was
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: so excited for them that I wanted to make sure
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: they had a great day. These kids did not even care.
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: Now I have one who's a freshman, one who's a junior.
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: They did not even care what I did for them.
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: I was so excited, and I got no love.
- 1:35:55Speaker 2: Rome Cank.
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: You guys give your kids too much credit about what
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: they really care about. You do for your kids what
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: you care about? How about doing what they care about.
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: They want to go to high school, they want to
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: go see their friends, they want to go, you know,
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: they want to have breakfast with them.
- 1:36:13Speaker 2: So I mean, you're a great sound like you're a
- 1:36:15Speaker 2: great mom. You did what you're supposed to do. I know,
- 1:36:19Speaker 2: but day it is what it is. Sorry to hear that, though.
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: Don't you send me here, Rome. I think the school
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: uniforms are the way to go. No stress for the
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: kids to dress to impress, have them focus on school.
- 1:36:33Speaker 2: I do too, by the way, I think. I think, uh,
- 1:36:35Speaker 2: school uniforms.
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: Are the best way to go for kids, cause that way, well,
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: for a couple of different reasons. You're right, no stress,
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: you know, kids don't have to worry about uh, you know,
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: they're always gonna look clean, They're always gonna look nice.
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: And I believe it or not, it's a lot better
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: for the kids. Like well, it's different nowadays though, because
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: when I was in school, we were poor, right. I
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: grew up on an Indian reservation. I was poor, and
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: you could tell I was poor by the clothes that
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: I were. Now, I had new clothes, always had new
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: clothes for school, but they weren't the fancy clothes. I mean,
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: I didn't get Nikes. We couldn't afford nikes. I didn't
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: get Nikes. I had to wear Converse, the you know,
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: the canvas ones. I had to wear kangaroos. I had
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: to wear pro wings.
- 1:37:28Speaker 2: I had to wear you know.
- 1:37:30Speaker 6: Some of the.
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: Sounds so stupid when I talk about how poor I
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: was and what I had to wear, because I had.
- 1:37:38Speaker 2: To wear Champion which are all things that are.
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: Expensive now that kids wear, which is totally absurd in
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: a kind.
- 1:37:45Speaker 2: Of bizarro world we live in.
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: But you could tell the poor kids, you could tell
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: the poorer kids from you know, the richer kids. So nowadays, though,
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: I mean, it's so easy. I mean you can go
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: to Target, you can go to Walmart, you can go
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: to rash, you you can go places that are less
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: expensive and find fashionable clothing that you can't really tell anymore.
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: But uniforms takes that all out of it, the different
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: economic groups when it comes to school, if everybody is
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: the same uniform, you know, poor kids, well, I don't
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: even know if they make fun of them anymore in school.
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: I mean, we got made fun of in school for
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: being poor. But yeah, so I'm with you though. I
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: think I think uniforms are the way to go to
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: I think it really does it kind of at least
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: from a status standpoint, you know, it keeps all the
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: kids on kind of the same playing level.
- 1:38:42Speaker 2: So yeah, I don't know where that text came from,
- 1:38:44Speaker 2: but okay, God put the money.
- 1:38:49Speaker 14: Been a man, mister man, I've been going through a
- 1:38:53Speaker 14: lot of lady man.
- 1:38:55Speaker 2: What you been going through a lot? It's wrong, man, I.
- 1:38:58Speaker 14: Gotta be a new kid, man. I'll be at TJ
- 1:39:01Speaker 14: is now where at TJ.
- 1:39:06Speaker 2: What is that?
- 1:39:07Speaker 14: Oh you know, Matt calls Junior.
- 1:39:09Speaker 2: Oh no more, do'e talking?
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: Okay?
- 1:39:13Speaker 14: Man, you know they gotta cutry talk over there too.
- 1:39:16Speaker 2: Man, pass up, oh man.
- 1:39:24Speaker 12: Romeo.
- 1:39:25Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:39:25Speaker 14: But let me tell you man, my coworker, Man. I
- 1:39:29Speaker 14: don't want to say his name, man, because he's pretty famous.
- 1:39:33Speaker 14: But let's tell you he just took the whole week
- 1:39:35Speaker 14: all because he said it's like a holiday today because
- 1:39:39Speaker 14: all the single moms aren't home.
- 1:39:42Speaker 13: What do.
- 1:39:44Speaker 14: Yeah, my coworker, he took the whole week off.
- 1:39:47Speaker 2: Well, he's a moron. It's not when it comes to
- 1:39:51Speaker 2: school being in session, it's not the single moms you're
- 1:39:53Speaker 2: looking for. It's the stay at home homes that you're
- 1:39:56Speaker 2: looking for. The single moms still gotta go to hurt.
- 1:40:00Speaker 14: I don't know, man, but he told me you're gonna
- 1:40:02Speaker 14: come through and get some tackles every now, pack.
- 1:40:09Speaker 2: Right, crazy, right.
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: You guys?
- 1:40:16Speaker 2: Are you guys are wrong?
- 1:40:18Speaker 6: Man?
- 1:40:19Speaker 2: It's not.
- 1:40:19Speaker 1: I mean, for all you guys out there, single moms
- 1:40:22Speaker 1: are always available. Okay, single moms know how to roll
- 1:40:26Speaker 1: with their kids because they're single moms. But single moms
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: still have jobs. It's the stay at home moms. That
- 1:40:35Speaker 1: are the ones that are now ready to cut free
- 1:40:37Speaker 1: and get loose because the kids are back in school now,
- 1:40:40Speaker 1: they have more time to go, you know, hook up
- 1:40:44Speaker 1: after whatever. What time school start eight thirty. So it's
- 1:40:47Speaker 1: the stay at home moms that you're looking for, not
- 1:40:51Speaker 1: the single moms. Okay, in fact, you probably have a
- 1:40:56Speaker 1: better chance with a stay at home mom right now
- 1:40:58Speaker 1: than you do a single mom, because single moms still
- 1:41:00Speaker 1: got to go to work. You know what I'm saying,
- 1:41:03Speaker 1: Those stay at home moms dropping their kids off at
- 1:41:06Speaker 1: school and they're going to look for something to do.
- 1:41:09Speaker 1: It could be you would you send me here, let
- 1:41:12Speaker 1: me see eight four two, five fours, seven to seven
- 1:41:15Speaker 1: if you want a text or call hey, room.
- 1:41:18Speaker 2: You're absolutely right. These guys have it all wrong.
- 1:41:21Speaker 1: You're looking for those stay at home moms that have
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: husbands who don't pay no attention to them. Those are
- 1:41:28Speaker 1: the ones that are out looking for a guy after
- 1:41:30Speaker 1: they drop the kids off at school, not the single moms.
- 1:41:33Speaker 1: They're the ones that still go to work and have
- 1:41:35Speaker 1: to take care of everything. So I think these guys
- 1:41:38Speaker 1: are a little delusional. Rome and some of the things
- 1:41:40Speaker 1: they've said to you, well, yeah, that's what I said.
- 1:41:43Speaker 1: I don't know why single moms comes, you know, I
- 1:41:45Speaker 1: don't know where that comes. I don't know where you
- 1:41:48Speaker 1: guys got the first day of school.
- 1:41:50Speaker 2: You should be moms.
- 1:41:51Speaker 1: No, you're looking for stay at home moms whose husbands
- 1:41:53Speaker 1: don't pay attention to them. Those are the ones that
- 1:41:55Speaker 1: are out looking for something to do today, not single moms.
- 1:42:00Speaker 2: Single moms are just I don't know. I don't know
- 1:42:06Speaker 2: where you guys got that from.
- 1:42:08Speaker 4: Bro.
- 1:42:09Speaker 15: My kids did not understand why I was laughing so
- 1:42:11Speaker 15: hard about what you said. You said, the single moms,
- 1:42:13Speaker 15: they're looking or stanto. The moms, they're looking for things
- 1:42:16Speaker 15: to do.
- 1:42:16Speaker 14: It could be you. I was donated and I's so funny.
- 1:42:21Speaker 15: I'm like, I'll tell you when you're older.
- 1:42:28Speaker 13: You're right.
- 1:42:29Speaker 15: The working mom, single mom, their life hasn't changed. I
- 1:42:33Speaker 15: work from home, I stay home with my kids. I've
- 1:42:36Speaker 15: been trying to have lunch with my friend, like all summers,
- 1:42:38Speaker 15: just the two of us. We like to go to
- 1:42:41Speaker 15: night places and I don't want to play a plate
- 1:42:43Speaker 15: for my kids. We are looking for things to do.
- 1:42:49Speaker 13: It could be you.
- 1:42:50Speaker 2: Come on, now, that's hilarious, that's awesome, right
- 1:42:57Speaker 13: Throw me all the morning, every morning morning ninety four
- 1:43:01Speaker 13: point one
