- bee: Here we are. This is Voice Notes Episode 7. Voice Notes After Dark. Not Voice Note Seven. Voice Notes After Dark. Episode 7. Can you believe B that we're still here after seven episodes? Everyone's not tired of us yet. Wait a jinx us. Okay, sorry. Yeah, you well well, no, because we have Liam here. We're good. We're good for at least one more episode. We got at least one more in us. so our guest this week is The always hilarious, crazy talented, so funny, so fun to be around. Liam, aka Thrifty Ghoul, who is on everybody's brain right now. Everybody's talking about this amazing creator and what they do every day. I mean, how many videos have you put out this week? my gosh, I don't know, like seven or something, but I'm So many in the drafts right now, like the ideas have just been so endless for me. And I've been having such a time. I didn't think anyone would see my jokes, let alone all the people that like I love and admire whose work is just like so incredible. Like I'm like sometimes I'll think about it's like y'all are making me so emotional right now. Please, trust me, we get it. Every time I mean, every time anyone any creator or script writer or anyone follows us or the podcast, B and I are like, what? What's happening? my God. You know? So Liam, you know, we were just talking about before we got started how I messaged you, I think right after I saw your Tinder post about how you were introducing your Tinder matches to AE, which was first of all, fucking genius. Like I can't even Where that even where you even got that idea, just to to this day, I'm so I'm so impressed. But the way that you just put it out there and it was so hilarious. And the actual like earnest responses that you got from people was also like super surprising. So I was really surprised by that. Like they were really had, you know, their little spark notes and everything. And there's this one guy, I'm still editing. I won't say it's a podcast. It's just more like just like us kind of rambling at night. But we listen to what was it? Make Daddy Your Good Boy by Atlas. And then we listen to Obsession by Billy Andere. And I can't wait to share that with everybody because we we really get into it. we also talk about Lonely Fans as well. I love that. That's so cool. That's the crazy thing about this space is that I think, you know, no matter how much you do and how much you listen to, there's still so many things that you haven't even scratched the surface of. And like B and I especially are just like, you know, we're we're we try not to get into a rut with like certain creators ca that we just love, like, you know, like Atlas and, you know, Flynn and the people that we just really enjoy listening to. But it's so hard because it's there's so much content going out every week. Yeah. I have a backlog of like seven thousand audios that still haven't touched. Exactly. Well it's like how could Yeah. No. And how could anyone go through like all of their favorite bat favorites back catalogs like and still have like a life? I have no idea. Or a functioning brain. Exactly. I mean, as much as these people short circuit our brains while listening. I can't imagine like and then trying to do that and listen to a whole person's back catalog. Like I can't. It's crazy. It's too much. so you did that and then you did what was the there was something you did in between that and you started doing the little parody videos. Yeah, I was just doing my little like recs and reviews. I kind of like sharing how and your dark romance journey. yes, my dark romance journey. Girl. I told you. I told you once you started. my God. It's like a drug. Yes, this is definitely the gateway drug straight to hell for sure. And I have learned a lot about myself along the way. And I'm just like Right. Did not think I was gonna like that. Right. Just see like my ancestors looking down at me, just like you dirty fucking slug. Yeah, it was never my thing. just due to just like past trauma and stuff. But then like again, I sound like a broken record. I love Atlas. I love bringing him up, but that same girl, don't feel bad. We do it all day. That audio, mine and then yours. Out of this world. Out of this world. Well, Dorothy and Atlas like really did their big one with that. And I was like You know, I can get into this. I can really get into this. And then that just led me down this pipeline of all the craziest things I've ever seen on Reddit. So yeah. Like Reddit for the first time. This is like week three of my Reddit journey. Enter at your own risk, babe. What is Pikachu doing on here? Girl Childhood like I get it. I know. And then it was like some crazy long ass tile like appearance, you've been fucked by a wild Pikachu. That's good for you. I'm glad you discovered that about Yeah, no. I mean, there's definitely obviously there's still things that are some things for you, some things not for you. There's stuff for everyone, obviously. but I think the thing with dark romance that I think a lot of people don't realize just coming from the book space, I think, is that even though it's dark, even though it goes to a lot of places that are uncomfortable for a lot of people, A, like you've discovered, it can be very healing. It can be something that just kind of helps you like deal with things. But B, also it's written by women and it's usually written by women. And so just the treatment of the topic is always going to be that much more gentle, that much more, with that much more respect to the reader. and so I think that's one of the reasons why a lot of people, even though they're kind of nervous to get into go down that road, I think once you go down that road, you're like, it's almost like like a found family trope. It's like you go, there's someone out here who wrote that. So there's someone out there that feels like that. And that's the way I felt. So how many more people are there? And how many more can I find? It's you know, it's just like give it all to me. Cause it's just like yeah, it just feels good. It feels good to be seen, you know. It does. And plus definitely very healing. Yeah. They have what was it? Most people who write those dark romances. The things they write about are things that they've actually been through. Yeah. So people don't realize that these aren't just women writing really dark stuff. Yeah, no, they're writing from experience. Whatever. It's something that they themselves experience. Exactly. Exactly. And it changes things. It does. Can we just but it's been a beautiful way for me to like Find and take my power back, you know? Yes. Being able to have those experiences and just having like the safe space to be able to process those things, but still be able to enjoy the writing and the acting. Like these creators are truly have such a gift. And with Audio Erotica, I mean like it's been just such a wonderful experience. I'm not new to the game. My First time I got into it was back in the 2010s in Tumblr when Tumblr was at its peak. God, early 2000s, 2010s, Tumblr. Yeah. And the actors that I found on there just so good. But yeah, just having these experiences and seeing just the beautiful art that people create in this space to be able to just help us with bits and pieces of our mental health. And being able to come together as a community and support each other that way has just really been really nice because a lot of the time I've had to process a lot of that alone and by myself. I didn't really have the support system I needed. But through meeting all these people who have very similar experiences and the writers and actors creating this type of content, it's just been Yeah. Just so great. Shout out to all of you for real. I know it's hard to put into words. I mean, I think I think one of the reasons too why we all get why we all kind of go through this phase where we're like, whoa, is because it's not expected. It's not something that you come into a s a space expecting to experience, especially an the audio erotica space. But it's crazy because I think because the space is so open and so welcoming to so many different types of people, so many different kinks and the flavors, it just becomes in itself this most this very accepting arena that you're not expecting. And even so much even so, like you know, B and I have talked about this. Even so in the book space, you know, even though there's spicy books and there's lots of, you know, that kind of stuff it that is, you know, okay, it can still be very exclusionary for certain for certain people. and for certain you know types of genres and and things like that. So it's really it really is does just kind of take you by surprise when you land here and you're like, Whoa, okay. The most lovely people ever. Truly, like the one that I've received, I'm just like, yeah, yeah. I didn't think anyone would like get it or let alone laugh or all these people like Come my way, but it's just it's been so amazing just chatting with everybody and just getting to know everyone and. Actors who like I look up to in their work, like Peaches, like all the love that he's been giving me, like I know. Did anyone know that Peaches was doing an audiobook? Not till this morning. I found out this morning. Yes. So T C Craven, which sh don't even get me started on the bad bitch this woman is. She's amazing. So she's got Amy Hall and Peaches doing An audio, it's called Headless Harvest. I'm assuming it's gonna be spooky season. I'm assuming it's gonna be in the next couple of months. And it's I'm so excited because I didn't know I had no idea that Peaches was gonna start doing audiobooks. Like, come on, that's so exciting. Is this his first one? I've never heard of him doing another one. Have you? No, I don't think so. Not that I've seen so far. Yeah. So very exciting. So exciting. All of our little AE babes, do as many books as you want because we love it. Like that again, you know, our first four episodes were us talking to, you know, Danielle and the cast from her book. That's how we ended up talking to Atlas in the first place, was because, you know, it was so incredible to us that Danielle was, you know, kind of sticking in her space and using the these voice actors that probably not very many people in the book space knew of. And who your voice actors are. Yeah. they're learning. they're learning. Don't you worry. They're learning now. but not very many people in the book space know who these who these voice actors are. And in the book space, who your voice actor is makes a big difference. Like if if names are recognizable, your book even, you know, will get a lot more re a lot more recognition. And for for Danielle to do this and just include the people that she thought was talented and that she cared about and turn out this just fabulous product, like all the credit in the world to her and her team of voice actors. They were all amazing. And that book is so good. so yeah, I mean, I'm I think B and I just love seeing these crossovers from this community to the book community, because that's just It's what needs to happen. It's so exciting. It's so exciting. So yeah, when I saw that this morning, I was like, my God, Peach is gonna be an audiobook. That's amazing. So yeah, I'm excited. so you started doing the like little recommendations, which were great. Started talking about your dark romance journey. What have you actually read any dark romance books? Have you only been doing the dark romance audios? So far just the audios and some manga. There's this one I'm reading now called Wet Sand. Look at B's face. You pulled her chain. You pulled her chain. I haven't but if I turned my camera that way, you would see my fuck shelf full of manga. Yes. Yeah, I've been collecting BL like Pokemon cards as of late. This bookstore opened next door to me that has like half of the library just like completely stacked of all types of BL manga. Everything under the sun that you can think of. You're in trouble. It is it is heaven on earth. Listen, my my pockets, girl. Yeah. They be they be hurting. The collection is steep. That's like me and Patreons. Damn. These damn Patreons. Listen, someone's gonna have to make the cut on the next episode of America's next company. That killed me. Kill me. I need it be like that though. You can't have to make a comeback because these Pockets are hurting It's gonna have to be a rotation. Like we're gonna have to be like you know, I got Timmy for the fall and then Billy in the spring and then August and summer. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. So you're gonna be Mr. March and you gonna be Mr. April. That's the way it's gotta be. That's the way it's gotta be. I mean, whew. Yeah, it's crazy. There's so many ways that you will just go broke so fast. Kickstarters and audiobooks and Patreons and literally have not now. I want to support. We want to support our friends. And you know, they're they're such amazing people. It's like you really do want to support them. because they're just you know, trying to make a living just like everybody else, you know? And definitely not you know, it's not easy. I've said this a million times. You you don't go into voice acting to be rich. Like no one goes into voice acting to become a a rich person. They do it because they love it and because it it allows them an acting avenue that maybe they wouldn't get otherwise. So yeah. It most everyone is gonna end up being super passionate and gonna, you know really need all the support they can get. So we love that. okay, so now now we do in all these videos where you just come up with this I can't even like how does your brain even give up with all of these videos? First of all first of all, the wardrobe. The wardrobe be killing every time. The wardrobe close up Those wigs are so perfect. How do you how do you do that without creating a extra long head? You know, I just like really wrap this up very, very tightly. So yeah. But for the craft. Yeah. it's that in itself. That in itself is a craft. Yeah, for sure. For sure. It's been so much fun. I I don't know what inspired her or what just came over me one day, but I was just like, you know, what the hell? I was bored. I'm unemployed. I wanted to do something fun that would bring people together. Let's see if this bites or not. I don't know. And the out I'm like, is anyone even gonna get this? This is big, really I don't know, very a particular type of comedy, but I love that everyone is here for it and I'm having the best time. Everyone is here for it. Everyone is so supportive of you. I love you just owning everything that you're doing. I can see your confidence building like every single video that you put out. I can see you like shining a little bit more and getting like that. Yeah, you know. I'm funny. People like this, you know, because they do and they're enjoying it. Yeah, yeah. I'm actually good at this. Well But I mean you are. You are. And you're such a light. Like you're so happy. And I mean, I know that ever we all have bad days. We all none of us are have perfect lives or things aren't always rosy, but and we all know that social media is not always the real. But what you put out there is something that gives other people joy. And so that's to be, you know, that's to be respected and, you know, noticed. my god, my heart. I think the one thing that that one of the things that I've really discovered doing this, not just in this space, but also in the book space is Everyone who writes or acts or, you know, does editing or any of those things, they're all artists at heart. And artists don't hardly ever receive the recognition that they deserve. And all artists doubt what they do. They all feel like an imposter at some point. They all feel like they're not good enough. And every sing without fail. probably ninety five percent of the people that I've talked to, interviewed, made a post about, every single one of them has been like, Why? Why why are you doing that for me? Like who am I? And it's that's universal I think in these spaces is no one feels like they deserve to be there. And so as much as what you're doing, as much credit as you're getting it for it from us, what you're doing is validating all of these creators too and making them feel loved and special. And so it's all like a big, you know, circle of just helping everybody feel like they belong and they fit in. And you know, so that's so important. beautifully put. No, that's exactly how I feel too. it's really been just like such a delight. I've been having the best time. And just I just can't like talk about just like how much I love y'all for real. Like this has just been so the warm welcome and the outpour that I have received has just really touched my heart because like in the outside world, my friends, you know, they don't really rock with AE like that. And they're just like, Girl, you pay for men to moan in your ear. It's my money, my choice. That's right. That's right. You pay for what? But you pay for something I don't give a shit about. What? Yeah, exactly. Who cares? Have you seen modern dating right now? No, exactly. I might as well get what I pay for. At least you you're gonna be happy. And ain't gonna get killed. Exactly. That part. I mean, it's safe. In a safe space. In a safe space with s with, you know, I mean, hey, there's something to be said for that. I mean something to be said for that. Yeah. And not just that, but knowing your worth and knowing what you will put what you will settle for. What what is for you out there? Exactly. That's what I've really loved about AE. Like, you know, okay, yeah, it's porn, but through through Through this, I've really learned like better ways to communicate with my partners and friends. It's really helped to like rebuild my self-confidence, like those periods that I've been like going through my depression or my self-worth, and I feel like I'm lacking. the art that these people create and like invest in to be able to give to us, like has been extremely beneficial for my mental health for sure. It's been it's been really great. I've learned a lot of things about myself and what I'm looking for in a partner or just like in my friendships. And it's it's just been a beautiful journey. Like yeah. Being able to experience this. Yeah. And it gives you permission to be that way. Because if someone's out there writing it and putting it out there in the world, then I'm not the only one who feels that way. And it gives you that like push and that solidarity of okay, I got this whole community behind me saying, Yeah, you don't need to settle for that. Like that's that's not for you. If if it's not if it if it's not doing this, then it's not for you. It's really good for just anyone in general who needs that push to not settle for things that aren't for them. Since we're kind of talking about, you know, acceptance and the way this community kind of makes people feel seen. Just is there anything else that you've really felt just from being in this space or something that has really stuck out to you as I learned that or I didn't know that I needed to hear that or even something that, you know, just kind of took you by surprise. You know, I was really surprised to see a few of the content creators who are not black do specifically black listener audios. So and the writers that they partner with that, like I believe, like Otter Bunny and Ravenel and Dia Soul. I'm sorry if I'm Messing that up, y'all. but I just it was just really, really nice to hear the things that I did and the level of care that these actors had and the way that it was just written. I just felt so seen by it. Like Julian's performance in Take Me Home Part One and Two, Dr. Rapture with Smooth as Silk, Billy with his incredible. Master list of everything under the sun. Everything. Yeah. Yeah. No, literally. and you can tell it's such a like so important to him. So that's yeah. It is. You can you can tell in his work for sure. Yeah. And that writing has just been really healing for me because not to get like sappy or emotional or whatever. But we're gonna do both, don't worry. We'll be laughing again in a minute. It's fine. But yeah, be moving in a world where you are black and trans gets really heavy. And P you are often considered either like, you know, a monolith, a fetish, or just something to be exploited. And dealing with that a lot also through like my dating experiences has taken a really heavy toll on me and not being able to understand what real love and connection looks like or feels like. I haven't really experienced that in my lifetime, unfortunately. But through Quinn and these performers. And the stuff that they've been doing with their work, it's taught me like what to look out for and what I deserve. And just slowly just rebuilding that confidence again and being able to like trust myself and being able to help me put my foot down with certain things, like, no, I'm not gonna like budge for this, like being able to set clear boundaries. Yeah. the work that people have invested into AE. And specifically with those projects that they created has just been very healing for me right now. Cause I've been kind of like going through it in the dating world. And listening to those audios and getting the recommendations that I have has just been really lovely. So yeah. The discourse, I think one of the things that has really struck me about it is that whenever there is Not even a disagreement, but whenever somebody wants to point out to the community, like, hey, just so you know, sometimes this language it doesn't really fit with me or it it I don't feel seen with when you use this language constantly. You know, when you talk about people blushing all the time, that's cool, but that doesn't really like resonate with me. And so it's but there's never I've never seen any, you know, anger or angry responses. It's always been, I see you, I hear you, and I will try to do better. It's it's never been like, well, I'm doing the best I can. So da da da, you know, it's there's no defensiveness. There's no like ego where it's like, well, I I don't have to, or you know, if you don't like it, go listen to this person, or it's just Yeah. It it's just they've all been very receptive. Yeah, receptive to, you know, direction. And I think a lot of people, you know, they want to learn, they want to know. And of course it's the onus is not on on you or anyone else to teach everyone about, you know, these topics. But when someone does take the time to do that, the least you can do is be receptive and also try to change. And so I think it's really cool that I've rarely ever seen that kind of defensive response to those kind of statements. And there's also curiosity, isn't there? Like you see a post and you're like, I did not know that. Never thought of that, or yeah, exactly. Yeah. When people's first reaction is to be curious or to be or to want to learn about something rather than getting defensive. That's so rare. Like so rare. And it seems like that's the general consensus of everyone in this of of everyone in this community is that, well I didn't even think of that. Or how could I not have even thought of that? Or, you know, but not I don't know. It's just it's a very different experience. And that's one of the reasons why we talk about this so much is because I think everyone could learn a lot from the people in this community. just and it it doesn't even have to be about AE. about anything, just about learning to, you know, have proper discourse. It's okay to disagree about things. It's okay to correct someone as long as you do it with love and with good intentions. I mean Why not? Why not try to teach people or why not, you know, try to learn about other people in the world? So yeah, I don't know. I just I've I've seen a lot, not a lot, but I've seen quite a few, you know, posts or things like that are just like, hey, I don't really feel seen by this. I know you're trying, and I'm not trying to call you out, but like, here, here's an example of what might make me feel a little bit more seen. And just the response to that. being like, you know what? You're right. Cool. Yeah. I'll do my I'll do better or I'll do my best to do better. You know? And so that's that's so that's not something that you see hardly anywhere. So it's just really cool that that it it is in this community. and I think a part of that is because there's so many people in this community who have been cast out from other spaces. From other Yeah, they get it. You know, they're like, yeah, I know what it's like to not feel seen. I know what it's like to feel like you don't belong somewhere. So I would never want to make someone feel that way. You know, and and it's unintentional, obviously. So don't know, I just love that part about this whole space. I love the attitudes of most of the people that I've spoken to. So a lot less device than dark romance space. Yeah. And I think it's a little bit I think the AE space is a little too real for some people. I've said that before. I think, you know, book space, you can kind of go, I'm just reading it. I'm just reading that book. I I don't really like it. It's just, you know, whatever. We gotta talk about the week that you have had, Liam. yeah. The week that you have had. Okay. Let's talk about it. You started this week with Walking into the deco. I think it was you walking into the deco. Then it was the Miles. Then it was Rush Hour. No, no, then it was the the D.Va. yeah, the Diva walking into the into the greenhouse. She's about to handle that green hose. We're about to work that out. And then it was rush hour, which Rush hour? Girl, genius. I when the when you first the moment I said that No, you're good. When you first sent that message in the group chat and and you were like, have you listened to the asset? by the way, have you seen that movie Rush Hour? Immediately my brain went to that girl in the backseat of that car singing that song. I mean it was immediate. And I was like, this is so perfect. It was perfect. Like the moment that I heard their chemistry in the beginning of that audio, my brain immediately was like, I can't help it. I have to do a rush hour skit. It's it was perfect. And it's it was perfect for their energy. It's funny because I said the same thing when we were talking about the audio. I was like, I love this like buddy cop energy. But I never went to rush hour, and it was like so perfect. Perfect when you said it. I was like, this is perfect. Julius was just giving Chris Tucker to me and I I had to do it. Yes. Yes. Yes. Such an icon. I celebrated and watched the movie the other day. I saw. I need to watch the movie again though. So funny. And you just sitting in that backseat just singing with your McDonald's. I thought you know, gotta have the aftercare snack. Yeah, why not? I mean, I'm so stressed out. I almost got kidnapped. I need fries. Literally. Where are my fries and coke at? Where are my fries? I loved it. I loved it. I I was just dead. Okay, so then that led to you just kind of being this onslaught of people seeing what you're doing, putting it out there, what you're doing. And I just love how you were like. Alright, everybody, come on. Come follow me. You like it? Come follow me. Come come come watch. I got more. I got more. That's right. Come support. Come support. And I and they did. I love it. and then Davey yesterday. The fashion icon. I love him so much. That man is a joy and a light. He is to be protected. If anyone ever hurts him. Literally. He's so precious. He's so precious. He makes me smile every day. I just love him. Same. I love his silly little fashion reels and how he be doing all those little things. His little his the one with his dad. I don't think I've seen that one with the dad. you have to go watch it. It's so stinking cute. It's on the gram. Mm-hmm. It is so stinking cute. Yeah, he just I don't know. I don't know what it is, but his whole just vibe is just perfect. It's it's it's perfect. He's so silly and he just balances that silly and hot, so perfect. It's so perfect. It's like he's like literally like you look up a Dorkable in the dictionary, and there's a picture of Davey. Like a hundred percent. Yeah. So okay, so we talked about it. So let's go through the list. Who was first? Was Atlas first? my followers? Mm-hmm. Yeah, Atlas was first. look at you. You're so cute. Atlas was first. I was like, Dana Man. No. That skate was so funny. The soaked one? the soaked one. The soaked was iconic. Iconic. Listen, do you have four hundred dollars to fix my hair then? Like then hold. Hold that thought, porny man. Hold that thought, horny man. Slow your roll, porn man. That's right. Slow your roll. I got to fix. I died watching. And but it's true. It's true. You know, that was a cute way to get out there. Like, hey, you know, if you ever Or writing or coming up with an audio. Just, you know, remember the crowns sometimes. No. We ain't gonna be willy nilly in the ring. No, no, no, no. No. I mean it's cute and all, but we ain't gonna be doing that. It's cute, but let me get my my plastic bag real quick. That's right. I got I got you, baby. Yeah. Just hold that thought for like, you know, two minutes. It'll be fine. Two minutes. Give me two seconds. Anticipation. Mm-hmm. Well I'm just so happy for you. I know that it has been exciting for you all week and that you probably have so much stuff in that little brain of yours that is yet to come. I do. And I cannot wait graphs already pre-recorded and edited. I love it. I love it. I love it when you it started because you were like I've just figured out how to do green screen. Yes. Yeah. I was like, we're so we are locked in. It's over for y'all. It's over. I'm about to give you cinema. I'm about to give you the Oscars. Like, let's get into it. Cinema. I'm about to give you cinema. For sure. For sure. I mean We didn't know we needed visual aids for AE, but now we knew. Now we know. We know. I just say I just want to say, just never stop. Just never stop. Keep doing what you're doing. And I mean, like I said, you're making people smile. You're making people feel seen. And it's absolutely fabulous what you're doing, what you're putting out there. Thank you. That's what I really love the most. Just like Gosh, my jaws hurt so much from all the laughs that I've shared with everybody in the last three weeks. Like, and just how amazing and just funny everyone else is as well. And just like the interactions that we have and just like all the conversations surrounding AE has just been an absolute delight. Cause you know, my this is my personal opinion, but you know, sex is inherently funny. 100%. And there's just so much material and inspiration to pull from with that. Like the possibilities are endless. Yeah. And I love making people laugh. It makes my heart all warm and fuzzy. Well, you do. You make me laugh every day. Every single day. Lynn said the sexy funny. It is. And it should be at least. Yeah. Yeah. You should be it should be comfortable. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, you should have a safe space to be silly and vulnerable and just, you know, be human. For sure. And it's okay that things are that way. Like there could there's there's obviously two different sides to everything. Like you can have, you know, let's get down to business, and you can have a funny story or you can have a romantic I mean you there's so many different vibes and you you just find what your vibe is and It the best thing about it is is that no one's trying to say, Well, they all need to be this way. Or you don't like this, that's fine. I like this and that's okay. You know, it's it's it's very much that way. And again, not a lot of places in the world that are like that. So it's very refreshing. Okay, everybody are like colleagues, aren't they? Yes. Like they're not competit competitors, like content creators are like look like you know the what this other content creator did and like podcast people are like listen to this other one and it's just so nice. Yeah. It really is so it's so nice seeing everyone so supportive of each other. Like 'cause you know, I I am a creative by trade. I'm a photographer and I work with like a lot of different industry things and I'm in California. And you know, it can get really competitive and intense. Yeah. So it's nice to be like in a fun creative space where everyone is just like actively supporting each other, spreading the good word. Yep. And just like really holding it down. Like it's it's been really beautiful to watch and be a part of. And I'm so glad that y'all have accepted me. Well, you're not getting rid of us at all. yeah, I I think We've talked about this before. I've talked about it a lot on my on my other shows, but just no one collaboration is the best way for all of us to win. All of us, you know, supporting each other, putting each other out there, just getting this space in front of more eyes and into more ears is the best way for everyone to succeed. Violet like what HD Carlton put on threads the other day. I was like, babe, I love you. She's fabulous. Like she's just saying, you know, stop. I mean, nobody's copying me. Like every like, you know, I I'm not gatekeeping this or this or this. It's just more of more of the thing is always good. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Why would we want to limit two cakes are better than one cake? Exactly. Why would we want to limit what's getting out there? Because the point is for more people to know what to know what it's about and to become a part of the community. Okay. So Liam, we are we I think we've talked about everything that we're gonna talk about as far as your journey in this space. But now it's time to do group therapy. So are you ready for group therapy, Liam? We need to do we need we need to get it out. We need to get the demons that these VAs make us grapple with out and tell to just fuck off every once in a while because they're so good at their job. Okay. I So last week we talked about we started the deco series and then B and I said, Whoa, hold on. We're not gonna do any more because we knew you were gonna be here and we were like, We don't wanna we don't wanna not talk about this with Liam. So and then we had this amazing response from Julia and Vi about our talk about the diva and the night porter, which we loved and just loved the imagery and the beautiful language and just everything about that audio. Julia needs the e-got for that. my Lord. That like he he be acting down in everything that he does, but just something about like the energy that he had in the D.Va and the Night Porter. I was just so like and then the accent of The accent. No, d B lost it with that accent. What did you say? I lost my fucking mind. I know. I know. I'm a massive fan of Nick Mayer and like and then hearing Julie like. Julian's accent, I was like, God, fuck. Mm-hmm. Yeah. No, it was fabulous. And I wanted to I told B I wanted to make sure that we talked about this today. But now that I've listened to four of these in this series, I think that it just needs to be said how amazingly Jesse is setting up every single one of these eras and these stories. It's like it's almost like a c little comfort, like that little like comfort few minutes before you start. It's like having a an a narrator, you know, kind of set the mood, set the tone of all of these audios. I just I just love it. The Deco Hotel Right have y'all ever heard of Hotel Erotica in the nineties? Okay. It's ringing a bell. Like it's ringing a bell, but like I don't I don't know it whether it's But I was like, I love that the Deco Hotel is like kind of like reminded me a little bit of that. But it's like it's a series that goes through like different decades and stuff of this hotel and all the different sescopades that the guests have. It was on this channel called Cinemax, and it was be a late night showing at 1 a.m. that would turn into Skinemax. Horn shows would come on if you that sounds so much like channel four turning into Euro trash at eleven o'clock at night. All the kids like are just like turn the volume down really quick. So mom and dad don't wake up. And it's like it was Hotel Erotica, Real Sex, The Bunny Rant. that and Taxi Cab Confessions. Did you ever watch the my god, Taxi Cab Confession! so good. Dude. my gosh, what a time. Bring it back. Bring it back. Bring it back. But yeah, we'll have to look it up. Yes. For all the Deco fans. Yeah. Erotica archives. I gotta look at that. I I'd be I'd be interested to s to hear if Dilia and Vi ever watched Hotel Erotica because I think they're they're in that generation as well, the same generation that we are. So I bet I bet it would make me feel better because I thought it was based on the Cecil Hotel. why? I mean, interesting premise. But okay. Lord. I mean horror story could do it. I'm sure you're until you weren't the only one thinking that. Okay. I'm glad I'm Why did your brain also go to American horror story? I mean, I feel like that's like the most recent serial drama kind of that kind of has that feel to it. that we've that we've had. So yeah, I think that's normal for that for your brain to kind of go there. But yeah, so funny. Okay, so back to the thirties. We all loved the thirties. We all loved Julian. We all loved the story. I think it was really cool that this was the beginning because going through the next three that we went through, they were all a little bit a little bit not quite as deep as, you know, the story wise, not not quite as, you know, in depth. But still super entertaining. Like there's a there was a kind of anxious theme underneath it because of what? What was going on at the time. Yeah. It was very there was a lot of tumultuous times going on, you know, whenever whenever all three of these were produced. So and especially for the main characters or whoever was involved. So yeah, it's really cool. So we're gonna start with the forties with our With our boy Peaches. my god. And he's fine it. The man can speak me to sleep any day of the week. Any day. This is truly the voice of an angel. So soothing. Peaches is a British soldier who is in a at the Decca Hotel. They're doing like a send-off. before they go to war. The listener has caught his eye across the room. I I think one of the things that I love about this one especially and all of the ones pretty much from this little block that we did this week the women are very much in charge. The women are very much the instigators making these situations happen, which is very cool. These weren't necessarily the most women friendly times. It's a good way to make them the focus by making them the instigators of these escapades and relationships. So, anyways, I just loved that part. I loved that the listener in this one was kind of a smart ass wanting to get away from this creepy guy and, you know, escape to the person that they really want to talk to. I I just I really loved the tone of this one. And then of course we have Peaches who is flawless. We know how you feel, Liam, about about Peaches. So tell us a little bit about what you thought about this audio. Yeah, so like piggybacking on what you were saying, I really loved how the listener in the situation was just, you know, right to the point, knows exactly what she wants. She's a go getter. I'm like, yes, Queen. I know. Time is short. Time is short, you better Superman. You know, and then before the spice and stuff, I put in my notes like a quote that just really stuck with me because I was like, damn, that's just like so relatable. I've been feeling this a lot lately. Where Peaches says, Everyone in there is having the most marvelous time, and I can't help but watch like it's happening to someone else behind the glass. Yeah. And I was like, Gosh, yeah, so fucking relatable. And I think that was right before he started talking about the thing that really hit me, which was the stark difference between the experience of someone in America during World War II and someone in in Britain. someone who was actually, you know, hearing sirens, you know, trying to be quiet. trying, you know, living by candlelight, you know, all of those things where there's this huge party with these boisterous bands and dancing. And that's not his reality. Yeah, I forget that you guys went into the war. You were like it wasn't there. Things happened. Like the war was wasn't there. No. At all. You know, they were dealing with the aftermath and with the, you know, their Men being gone and you know, w things that happened during war, but as far as war being on our doorstep, no. Cause it seems like really like it did impact America a lot. Like everybody talks about like the war effort and the steel and stuff like that. So it does seem like it was Yeah, it was all economical. But with us, I think I don't know, it was just it's just strange to think about. Really. Mm-hmm. Yeah, and I think that's one of the things that was so special and important about this, the fact that it being Peaches and it was someone who was not American in that situation, it did make it all the more poignant that it there was such a start difference between the experiences of World War Two from those different cultures. We know now After Delia and after we spoke with Delia and Vi a little bit this week, we know that they're very intentional about the language that they use and the way that they're writing these. So I can I think I can pretty safely say that that was definitely intentional. And it was something that it really did kind of stick with me and kind of hit. So you can tell that they really did their research when exploring all these different decades and really like applying real life situations to like this beautiful immersive experience to create these stories. Like that check that it was her like it was the same people writing them. Mm-hmm. Also the background, I mean everything was so perfect. Just the faintness of the music. I was so seamless. The ambiance of just being of them being going from the bar. out of the bar into the into the room. I mean it was all just it was perfect. is anybody else thinking of the My Chemical Romance song? my god. Okay. So literally one of my notes was at the very beginning my ADHD brain going straight to that one scene in the ghost of you. And then I put in parentheses possible skit there. I don't know. Can you imagine? That's amazing. Yeah, I immediately thought of gosh, what a what a like that's because that's the only time I've seen something like that. So that was where the whole audio was happening in my head. Thing. That's so cool. I love that. I love when music just kind of gets burned into an experience. The eyes burned into my memory while I'm 30,000 feet. I died. I died. Just just stop. Just know. I'm just like, don't make me cry right now. I'm supposed to call it that. Like don't get me emotional. Yeah. No. And the and then the the end. I mean, I don't wanna I'm not gonna spoil it, but just the a the asking of her name and the reason why. And can we talk about the way he was talking us through it? my god. I'm just thinking about the Easter egg now in Julius' World 2. yes. The Easter egg. I think I wrote it down. I think I was like I know. I almost cried. I was like, no. I was like, my goodness. I love a happy ending. We love an A. I was like I love me a cute little Easter egg. Like, yes. These Easter eggs are okay, but w well, we're we're gonna get there. We're gonna get there. Hold on. Yeah, we're I'm gonna let you finish. I'ma let you finish. I'ma let you finish. Yeah, the talking or through it. So it did I don't really I it I was just I was it was just it was really sweet. Very sweet. Yeah. Yeah. Sometimes when it when the spice doesn't stand out, it's a good thing. To me, yeah, exactly. It's just I was just in it. I was just in the story. Yeah. It it means that it flows well with the story. Mm-hmm. And Peaches is just so soothing, just as just in all situations. I don't know. Even in the asset, like with that like frantic energy that was between the listener and and Peaches and Julius, he was still comforting. He's still that he still had that like quiet energy about him. And so yeah, I think that's just he does that so well. So he does. He does very relaxing. Yeah. He's our sweet little angel. But so not. So not. But so not. So not. my gosh. Like think of peach in in a peaches in a very different different way. Yeah, and and you know what it is You know what it is, V, I guarantee you it's an accent thing. Like for us, like British accents for Americans, I think in general, just are very relaxing. For you, it's like ugh, whatever. It's you know, yeah, it's just like meh could just go outside. Right, right. So I get that. Yeah. It is very different. Yeah. When I was in London, people were like, my God, you're American and wanting me to like say all these things. And I'm just like, Meh. I don't really have an accent. I don't think that's I don't have anything like exactly. What do you want to hear? All right, Liam, what about you? Was there anything that you had anything else you had about that audio? Just a small note. I put the the twenty fifty timestamp. I was just like playing that back over and over. It was so good. What was occurring during the twenty fifty termstorm? Cause that was about two thirds of the way through. Yeah, you know, he was just really getting after it. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Having dinner. Yeah, he was just having dinner. He was having that five course meal. Having a meal. Yeah. And dessert on top of that. That's right. Ten out of ten would recommend. Ten out of ten would recommend, yeah. Yes. Okay. All right. So we're gonna move on to the fifties. This is specifically nineteen fifty-five. Okay, so nineteen forties Easter egg is in the beginning. Very beginning. We're not gonna ruin it, but honey moon. that's my cat might my microphone wasn't picking up my my It was I I don't know. Like, you know, you kinda leave the forties not sad, but just nervous about like what's gonna happen, obviously. But to hear that they found each other again. Ugh. Just beautiful. Just beautiful. And that you know, again, it took it was it was five seconds of the audio, but for them to think enough to just put that in there for us And just have that like happy feeling. And just describe it like them them at the table. From an outsider's perspective. Like from someone looking in going. They're so in the and they're just celebrating their honeymoon. Yeah, it was beautiful. Perfection. Perfect. Don't dwell on it. Didn't make a big deal about it. Just wrapped it up in a little bow. Yes, ma'am. Good. B Americans. The way Julius says here. Where is the accent from? Here? I think he's from the South. Yeah, he's supposed to be from the South. Because for me, I was like, is that New Orleans? slightly Cajun Mostly just southern. Yeah, it might be a little bit less southern. A little bit of that Cajun southern probably maybe Louisiana. Yeah. South southern Gulf area, you know. Very much that vibe. My next note. What? What's your next note? Ha ha ha. The door is really interesting. Dude, don't get me started on that door. I got lots to say about that door. Just look it out the door. Just but like but okay. So I loved this line. He said most acts fill tables. She fills the whole club. Huh. She does. Okay, the fight noises. yeah. Cinnamon with the sound design. Come on. They really did their thing with this one. On. Yeah. Like I mean punches and like people cussing in the background and glasses breaking. I mean, it was like a whole ass fight. There was it was not yeah, no, it was a whole thing. I I love that it was kind of giving bodyguard vibe. Yeah. And like he was really emphasizing the fact that he was like her, like committed to her, protecting her. So it was really giving that bodyguard vibe, which I think is really cool. I love that. I love a bodyguard tag. Yes, we love a bodyguard. so usually I'm a fan of the nickname Princess. This princess was very condescending and I did not enjoy it. But it was fine. It just you know. I think it got better as it went on. There was like people smashing each other in the face with glass and she was like, I'm going back out there. Like I need to dance. And he's like I know. She was being a brat. I know. Yeah. She was being a brat. She was in control, I think is what it was. It was giving that I don't belong to anyone. And This is just a me thing. I don't like it when women who assert their dominance over their own body are treated as brats. I that just for some reason kind of pushes my buttons as a person. It has nothing to do with the writing or anything like that because I loved every bit of it. But like I don't like that tone sometimes. I quite I quite liked it in this context, purely because I mean, A, the times, but B, it was like, look, My job is to make sure you don't get a scratch on your fucking body. I like staying alive. So could you just fucking behave, please? Right. And I get that. Like I said, I get the reasoning behind it. Like I said, it's a personal thing for me that I I don't like it when it's treated bratty for a woman to just be like, no, you don't get to tell me what to do. You know, like When it's not in a unless it's established like that it's a kind of she is a brat. Like if somebody just says, You don't get to tell me what to do, that in itself isn't brat isn't. There's always like tone there, isn't there usually. And this was very much And this wasn't in the context in the confines of s of a spicy part, so it wasn't necessarily like kinky or anything like that. And I think that's the other reason why it kind of stood out to me, because it was outside of that context. So like it's fine, you know, if that's something that you are into or whatever, like in like in terms of a kink or in terms of a spicy part, but it kind of like felt like it was separated from that. And I think also he was using it as a way to try to explain her situation to her because she was like, I don't belong to anybody. I'm gonna get changed. And he's like, Look, if my boss comes in. And sees you naked and me here, I'm dead. And she's like, nobody owns me. And it's like, well, he kind of does. So this is what happened. Yeah, I get it. This is where your life is now. If you want it to be comfortable, just just c just behave, please. Yeah. Take it down. I get it. Again, it's personal for me. Not trying to lose my job or my head. Yeah, yeah, I get it. I get it. I get it. I get it. Anyways. So, but it got better as it went on. It became less condescending and more of a term of endearment. And I enjoyed it at after that. But just that first like little instance, I was like, excuse you, brute. Not to mention he was very I think it also got better because when it got to like the kind of spicy part, he was like, okay. This is the point of no return. I'm gonna need you to say what you want. I'm gonna need you to s exp say these things more than once. Yeah. So I like that very much. Yeah. again, she was still taking charge in this one, which I loved. the lines are always crossed by the women first in these audios, which I think is really great. I love that. I love that they're the ones in charge of what's happening. So that always makes me happy. eyes on yourself. May have replaced eyes on me. I'm just saying. And the the mirror scene. Come on. Come on. Face the door. The one I built for you. The one I built for you. The one where I built three locks so we could get away. Yeah, that I mean there was there was a little bit of latent frustration. Right. Like, so you weren't planning this, but you built a door with three locks how long ago? Hello? Don't add up. I don't know. But yeah, that that was it. And then of course, cliffhanger. We gotta keep he's taking her away from all this. And then it went to black and I just went. Wait, what happened? Yeah. What what what what what happened? What happened? For real. Spicy part of this one was definitely a little bit more spicy than the forties. Yeah, it was pretty good. I definitely love the spice. I wrote another timestamp where I was like my brain short circuited. There were a couple of the there were a couple of places in this one where I was like 2130 to be specific. I'm gonna have to play it back so I can remember. So this one was I think like twenty you you hit like two thirds of the way through every time it was about twenty seven or twenty-eight minutes. You're like, For me, what really stood out the most in this audio next to Julius' acting was cinnamon with the sound design, like just really on it putting those like parts together. You really feel like this audio, as I'm listening to it, very immersive. It was just like compared to the Diva and Night Porter, they both made me feel like I was in that world and I could close my eyes and like see and imagine it perfectly. with the sound design and the acting and everything that Delia Vi, Julius, and Cinnamon put together in this was really, really good. And even though yes, it's audio, I was just able to imagine and visualize just so perfectly. Just my imagination was running wild and I was wild. It was great. Yeah. I This is my first solo Julius audio. Other ones that I've women was all like collaborations that he's done. So it was really nice to see him like shine in his standalone. Be like the s the the main yeah, I agree. I was I was the same way. Yeah, I liked him kind of being the main focus for sure. but the one thing that I love about all of these audios is the fact that they all travel You know, there's they're all going from one place to another at least, if not two or three different places. And it's always all so like crisp and clear that, you know, where they're going. with this one especially, the clothes were the clothes like rustling and things were like really, really good. I really like Yeah. Those were great. Yeah. Yeah. So good. I like the way J I I liked Julius's The accent. Yeah. But I like his like tone, like the kind of exasperation, the Yeah. The exasperated caretaker role. Yeah. It it's like you too. I can't take my eyes off you, but also I kind of wanna lock you in a room until you calm the fuck down. Like Yeah, you you like that tone a lot more than I do. And I think that's something that we definitely have always kind of differed on where I am like supremely bratty about that kind of shit. You like that and I'm like it's like that initial tone just kind of if it happens to me I'm like flips a spot right off. Yeah. Like even my ex is I was like it's something that I have not been able to disconnect from me yet. It's not a trigger, but it just is like, nope. I get that kind of Bro, it's kind of throws you off a little bit. I get that with like breeding ones. Mm-hmm. Okay. All right. So obviously this one ends on a cliffy. We don't know what happens. The boss is coming. You hear the footsteps. They're trying to put the clothes on. The door is being unlocked. my God, it's not what you think. And yeah, hard to explain that when all your clothes are on the ground. It's not what you think, but it is. Oopsie. Oops, I just I just slipped and fell on it. It was an accident. I promise. I promise. And he was already naked. He's already naked. So I mean like things happen. So okay. Moving on to the sixties. We have found at the deco. This is in nineteen sixty-nine. we are moving on into Cardlin, which is a new first for me as well, but I am liking liking the voice. What you guys never heard Carlin before? No, this is my first time. Super sweet. Ugh. Love the tone. Love the golden retriever vibes. You know, your girl loves a good golden retriever. Yeah, no, I I love his voice. Okay, and then we get the Easter egg for the 50s. So guys, what do we think? Do you want me to read do you want me to read out what I wrote? Yeah. Do it. Okay. Deco ghost. Wait, my god. Did Julius get fucking murdered by his boss? Did we fade to black on his death? Holy shit. Or did they both get murdered? Because he says you can hear them. Or you can hear them laughing. So I don't know if he's saying them as Juliet and the girl got like that's what I'm saying. Is it them as in both of them? Or is it them as in just them? Like, what do we know? What happened? Like that's so dark. I'm like, dick hump. Okay. Last thing's direct with a fucking honeymoon. Yeah, right. We can't we can't let have too much fun. We gotta we gotta darken this up a little bit. So we gotta find out. We gotta well, I mean, I know it was intentional for it to be kind of open ended, but damn. Nobody really knows what happened or whatever. Yeah, I gotta know. I gotta know what happened. I'm hoping that maybe in subsequent audios we'll get more of that story. But we'll see. So back to this audio. So this is a mail for mail, which love that. We love our representation. We love having a little Male for male in the midst of all these male for female audios. boys kissing. Yeah, we love it. We love it. Love it. We love it. Bring it all of it. Give me all of it right now. By the way, I've got a book rec for you if you wanna if you wanna hear some boys kissing. Yes, skirt. I got you. I got you. you gotta show me your manga rec. yeah. Yeah, Bees Gotcha. Bees Gotcha. so I wrote down that flawless drink pour sound, which was absolutely flawless. You know me, I'm a sound nerd. That was the first thing I heard. I was like, my god, did you hear that? It was bright. That's a jacket that got in a car and drove a long way to be here. It's so sad, but so true. And it was such an insightful way to speak. Like Obviously you don't obviously you're new here. Obviously this is something that you're not used to. I know you probably came a long way, but to say it like that to where it's not like on the nose or make or makes makes the listener feel uncomfortable, I I don't know. I just I feel like that was so intentional and so nice and so pretty, you know. Just for him to not be yeah. Yeah, I think Carlin did an excellent job with having that perfect balance of, you know, leading and being dominant, but still just having like that soft, gentle reassurance and just the language that he used within the script. Carlin, this is my first Carlin audio, the his voice, yeah, I'm definitely gonna be invested more into him. but I just love like the gentle nature and just like how he went about things that, you know, like how you were mentioning earlier. not too on the nose, but enough that like, you know, you can pick up what he's putting down. He's just like leading him with his words. Yeah. Yeah, really leading with his words and just being really like soft and sincere, but you know, still having that little playful energy, which was really nice, and just like guiding the inexperienced listener was just so cute. I loved it. I was eating it up. No, I loved it too, and I it it just it made something that would have been could have potentially been very uncomfortable for the listener into something very playful, but also not patronizing, not not taking anything away from his experiences. Yeah, he definitely gave him like a nice safe space. Yeah. I really feel really just be himself, which I thought was really lovely. And we love that the deco is inclusive. We love that. We love that it's a place for everyone. It's a place that people feel safe. So yeah. I mean I know I it was still illegal to be gay in exactly. Marco married to a lovely lesbian named Carol. Took me out. Jesus, Frank is a bit of a horn dog, innit? I just Frank. And then, like, he's hung like a horse. All right. I was like okay. Yep. Yep. Dell damn. don't know. Just the tone of this one was so nice. Did we hear did everybody hear the Easter egg for the thirties on the roof? He said that used to that used to be a glass house of flowers back in the day when they were on the roof. Okay. Yeah, it was so cool. I was like, Diva, they so for they are gosh. So sweet. Yeah. the roof sounds, the city sounds on the roof. So cool. So great. Very nicely done. And it was just lovely. I loved the like you said, it was reassuring. And just all the sweet little check ins and stuff. It's really nice. Just really just it's making him feel so safe and special. And I just I just love that being able to Yeah. Yeah. And you just sit there, find yourself wishing everyone had that experience, you know. Right. You know it's not true, but you wish wish that everyone had that experience. Everybody I'm manifesting that this is people's first. Right. I just can everyone have this, you know, please. Ugh. It was so cool. And then the ending too, just I can't wait to hear the Easter egg for these two. Like I can't wait to hear, you know, where we go. But the the ending where he's just like I have thirty six hours and I wanna sp So cool. So cool. Ugh. No rails, just us. I was like, it was so good. It was so good. I died. I I just loved the language in this one. And I thought it was really, really sweet. Yeah, it was beautifully written and Carlin really did his thing with that. It w this was this was a really nice introduction to Carlin for me. Definitely will be investing more of his stuff. Yeah, definitely. And when I read the comments, it seemed I don't know if this was true or not, but someone said in the comments that that was that they had not heard mail for mail from him. So I'm wondering if that even might be the case, if it was not something that he's done before. But if if so, man, nailed it. Yeah, when I was like kind of looking through his archive a bit, I was like, hmm, I don't see any other for So someone mentioned that in the comments. Someone said, this is I've never heard you do for and it was great. And I was like, Yeah, nailed it more. Like, do more. 'Cause it was great. I love seeing a lot of the VAs now, like, even though that may not like be their thing in the real world, like playing into I mean it's acting like well, yeah. Like seeing for instance, John's audio with Peaches, god, so good. I'm I'm loving all the for content that people are coming to place. It's inclusive, it's good, it's always good. What do you think about B? It was so sweet. Like even when he was in that like, you know, brain can't brain part of the audio, he was still so considerate and so sweet and Yeah. Like even when he was like in the throes of it, he was still making sure that, you know, listener was okay, you know, listener knew that they were doing a good job or whatever, you know, all those things, you know, those are those are important. You know. And I mean this the soundscape for for this one was just really, really good. It was lovely. It was lovely. I am loving I mean, I mean like overall Deco is just killing it. Just killing it. It's so good. And so I think really did their thing with this one. Like that's such a commitment to go through all those types of stories and then the planning and putting all that together. No, it's like It's insane. Shout out Yeah, shout out to their level of commitment and everybody involved who really made this come alive because I know that was no like easy effort. Yeah, and it's not just it's not just a series of audios that take place in the same location. They really did put so much thought into the time periods, the language, just the way things were at certain points. Points in time, the music, the sounds, I just everything is so appropriate and so well thought out. yeah, just so much props to them for that. It's it's such an undertaking what they've done. It is, yeah. Yeah. And I can't wait to hear the rest. I'm so excited. But I'm trying to have three left. So we've I've I'm trying not to listen ahead. So I haven't listened to any of the any of them but the what we've talked about. So we'll do we'll do three more next week, I guess. We'll we'll do seventies, eighties, and nineties, I guess. So I get to see her atlases next week. I am I am expecting a lot of swearing from you. Yeah, I know. I heard there's I heard there's princess involved in atlases, so I know I'm gonna be saying a lot of also like the the It's very binaural. So okay. I know this wasn't on the list, but I know we all listen to Soaked. So let's just go ahead and tell Atlas to fuck off real quick for that one. Because what the actual hell, dude. Bro. Bro. Gonna do it every time, every single time. Like he knew too. He knew he knew what was coming. And I got something for y'all. I can't. I can't without every time, every week, without fail, I've yet to listen to one that I didn't like. Even the audios where it has tags where that's not really my thing. Doesn't matter. But his performance, he'll make it your thing. Literally, this. This man's convincing powers, he could sell water to Mother Nature herself. A hundred percent. A hundred percent. His level of range, I could I could rant about him all day, but his range as an actor is insane. Incredible. He needs a master class. And can we talk about the fact that he actually was teaching you how to drive a stick in that audio? Like how I I did he lose himself? For a minute, because like I think any I think someone could actually learn how to drive from the first ten minutes of that audio. He got kinda lost. How'd you learn how to drive stick shift? Well I mean Have you heard of Atlas? Have you ever heard of Atlas? I mean just the real detail that he put into talking about how it feels when the car does this. And I was like, God damn, dude, what are we really learning how to drive? Like, shit. It was great. It was great. The rain bonneted the cap first. Yeah, but you gotta put yeah, we gotta put the bonnet on first. Gotta wrap it before you tap it, you know. But can we talk about how freaking sweet he was in this like that like of all the atlases, like I love all the atlases, but the sweet dorky atlas is definitely my favorite. but damn. He was so freaking cute in this one. It was so cute. So like nervous and cute and adorable. I know, like that. it's on his trailer thing on Instagram. Hearing his delivery with those lines specifically. Just like the yearning and tension. Mm-hmm. Yeah. And the unsure like the the not being sure, the unsuredness of just in his tone of like Are we are we thinking the same thing? Are we Are you gonna wait. yeah. We love you, but Anyways, so yeah, that one that was another just banger. And I mean Lark, come on, Lark, you're ridiculous. Everything you write is insane and good and just the the tone of everything is so perfect. The language is always so perfect. Absolutely delectable every single time. See. Okay, so I know you didn't get to list to postponed Liam, but I really think you should. You will, I think you'll love it. It's very short. It's very short. It's only about 12 and a half minutes. this is a collab with Raven and Dr. Rapture, which y'all know. I love Raven. We love Raven. Raven is our girl. And Dr. Rapture, we love Doodle Doc. Doodledoc like My obsession right now. I'm I'm in love with Doodle Doc. And Dr. Rapture is amazing. So You know he sells Doodle Doc stickers, right? I know. I have to DM him for a sticker. Doodle. No, I told him to fuck off. I'd quite like a sticker. Don't tell him to fuck off while you ask him for a sticker, please. Hey, fuck off, can I have a sticker? so pouty, we talked about this right before we got on, but D B and I are in love with Powdy Dr. Rapture. Powdy is pouting and it's cute. Raven says that she can't write relationships really well, but let me tell you, the girl can act relationships because their little banter was adorable. They're the way she says my love. What's the premise for this one? So it's like I said, it's really short. Yeah. It's basically you hear you hear rain. It's raining outside. And Dr. Rapture's pouting because he was gonna take Raven on a picnic to outdoors and they were gonna go to this I think it's like basically where they met. it was like a park and now they can't go because it's raining. And he was gonna take her to the park and they were gonna have a time. So he's pouty about it and he's mad. So Raven decides to recreate this. She goes into like their little sunroom and makes their little picnic and lights candles and tries to get him out of his bad mood. So and succeeds. but they're so cute together. I mean, this obviously, like I said, it's only about 12 minutes. It's super quick and dirty, but it's so cute and adorable. And the soundscapes, and we'll talk about the sounds. It's so Raven edited this, and the sounds are insanely good. Who did the sound for this one? Raven. Raven. yeah. Yeah, she's amazing. She's an amazing editor. It's like the rain. The rain. Like the sound effects. I it made me like feel like I was inside a very sp specific house. Like I I wrote down like it makes it feel like it's a it's an old, single glazing, drafty. No, I agree. It was very it was very characteristic of rain hitting a certain type of structure. It was it felt very cozy, very homey. And it it just it just felt right for the location. All the sounds felt perfect. And their little banter was just so cute. Yes. Like there's desperation as well. So I can find it. Yeah, I'll send you the actual link to it. Yeah. I'll I'll message it to you. so this was written by Lo and Behold, which is a new scriptwriter to to me. I think it's probably new to be as well. And such a great this was great little script. They did an amazing job, so I I I really enjoyed it. Like I said, super short, but super cute. Fun to do. Fun little listen. And Raven's in our family, so we have to we have to keep our family keep our family posted up. So we loved it. Yeah. Raven's amazing. She sent me a DM a couple days ago just sending me so much love. It was so precious. Isn't she precious? You're the funniest person. Ever. I just I can't believe I just found your thing now. I was like, well, I just started, so welcome. She is one of the most supportive people. She does not she never lets something not be said. She if she feels something, she's gonna tell you, which is so so sweet. I love her. Yeah. And she's she's been so helpful to us. So we love Raven. Well, that's all a group therapy. We've talked about all of our audios. We even added an extra one in because we just needed to tell Atlas that we're mad. good at his job. How dare. How dare he? How dare he be? How dare he? Liam, you're gonna have to like come back and we're just gonna have to do this. We're gonna have to make this like a A periodic thing where we have you to yeah about things because your energy is infectious, you being here just you know, it's just fun. It's just super fun for and we love you and we're you know we're supporting you a hundred percent. I really have genuinely been having just like such a wonderful time. Like I'm glad that I took the risk because I'm typically not someone who likes to be on camera. Yeah, like Do my little fashion diaries and stuff. But you know, I'm a photographer for a reason because I typically love to direct and create behind. Behind. Yeah. But you know, gaining my confidence back to do all these silly little skits and stuff. I'm really excited that everyone's enjoying it. And I'm And you're looking fabulous doing it. Like, let's just be real. Let's just be real. Yo, Diva Joe. When I When I listened the Div in the in the night porter, I was like, I've got the dress for this in my closet. I can't wait. That red dress. That red dress. Mm. Yes. With with the backlash. Yes. It helps being a a stylist as well. I'd be collecting clothes like Pokemon cards. It's it's a problem. I mean, not right now. It's working out. Yeah, it's working out. It's working out great. It's working out good now. I just can't wait to see what you come up with. I know you're gonna blow us all away every time you do something new. And I love watching your journey. I love watching you discovering new things in this space. And so like I just wanna keep helping you document that. So we definitely want you to come back and definitely chat with us about things. You know, maybe we'll do maybe we'll do like periodic group therapy we'll have with Liam, you know, add Liam into group therapy every once in a while. I think that would be good. I think the fans would love it. I think the I think everyone wants more Liam. You know, as soon as we put on there that you were going to be the guest this week, everybody was just like, my God, we love them. They're the best. Yeah. God. my God. No, for real. Like I love y'all so much. It's so nice to finally have like people to talk about this with. Because everybody else IRL is like same, same. Girl, what? Mm-hmm. Or just like you can't just like read a book or something, or like cut to why I have this c account in the first place, because no one wants to talk about this stuff with me, other than these people that I talk to on here. So yeah, exactly. But I'm slowly putting people on. One of my IRL besties just texts me telling me about their Quinn journey. And they're like, girl. Thank you. I was like, I told you. See? See y'all be looking at me crazy, but I know what I'm talking about. I am a person of taste. That's right. I have culture. I know what I'm talking about. I know exactly what I'm talking about. I got this. And I love building playlists for people. I was like, tell me what you're into. And then I do all these like custom playlists for each of my friends. Once they tell me like I give them like a little like Google form and like check boxes about Okay, so what do you like and like don't like? And then I tailor each answer to like certain audios. I love that. So right now she's going on her atlas journey right now. And yeah, she's she's like thank you for that. I was like, Yeah, you're welcome. Like I said Another one bites dust. Welcome to the cult gang. Here's your Welcome to the club. Come on over, we got snacks. I mean it's yeah. And not to mention, okay, I know this is like again, we're still talking, but that com his community, his group of fans and followers are just some of the most genuinely wonderful people on this planet. They have been so supportive of us and everyone in general. I know you too, Liam, they've kind of taken you under their wing as well. yeah, I saw in the the React thing in in in reactions, you put like a post and then about fifty people were like Yeah everyone was so excited. Yeah. I was like I got something for y'all later. Stay tuned. Yeah, the Stargazers, shout out to the Stargazers. The Stargazers are are it, they're where it's at, and we love them. We love them so much. We need some Star Gazer jerseys. I really want one. We need to talk to Toasty. Toasty. I think Toast Toasty at the moment every time somebody suggests something, she's like, Shut the fuck up. Shut the fuck up. I got all this. I got this. Can someone buy this first? Okay, sorry, Toasty. Just kidding. We love you, Toasty. We love you. I'm just kidding. Okay. Just love your art so much. Yeah. You're really good at it. Really good at what you do. Yeah. So yeah. Thank you, Liam, for being here. Thank you for hanging out with us for so long and yapping. I know we've been doing this for a long time, but we absolutely appreciate your time. And we love talking to you. And then again, you're definitely gonna be coming back and yapping with us more often. So next week. Next week we will be a little abbreviated, probably just group therapy. Is that what we decided? I think so. 'cause I will be out of town next weekend, so it's my fault. All my fault. but then we'll just do group therapy. You needed a break, lady. Break? Who's that? I don't know her. Breaks are essential. Need them to survive. I'm going to well, I'm going to take a break. I'm going to a book conference. So I'm very excited about that. So it'll be fun. Who is it? Love among the pages? No, I wish, but it's a book boyfriend here in in Texas. So it's like yeah. It's pretty it's gonna be fun. I think it's gonna be fun. I'm excited. I haven't gone to a book convention yet. I really wanted to go to the one in Canada, but then I had a dental emergency and so all my Canada money had to like go to my teeth and I was so frustrated. Like, maybe next year. But I really wanted to see John in person. Right. When real life ruins all your plans, it's the worst. I know, right? I'm sick of being an adult. Where's my sugar daddy? It's the worst. It's the worst. I hate it. we can't wait to see what you come out with. This week. I know it's gonna be great. I got some goodies on the way. I know you do. I know you do. I'm not Well, I want it a little controversial. because it does have to deal with the ending of use your words. And I'm kind of poking fun at part four a little bit. well, that's okay. It's all right. We like so for anyone watching, if you if there's any boondocks fans out there, I feel like it'll get it, but people who haven't seen it will try to still. I was like, leave it to like me smoking at at two AM. man, that's brilliant. I remember you posting about that and I was like, Lord, I Lord Yeah. I thought I found a way to merge the boondocks with John York. Don't ask me how don't ask me how my brain works. I still don't know how Your brain, you and B, you and B should actually get together and put your brains together because man, let me tell you, that would be a ride. That would be a ride. A ride some might not survive, they would say. Some of you may die. All right. We're gonna get out of here. And thank you everyone for watching. Cannot believe we've been doing this. for seven episodes and we appreciate every single person who has taken the time to watch and talk with us and send us comments and be absolutely lovely. So we love you all. Thank you so much. Bye bye.
