- 0:06Speaker 1: Sorry, yactor, She's a playing tin of sword attempt of weeks.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Feel slightly new loveds, Mike said the next guy, Let's
- 0:14Speaker 2: see it's play.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Hi look a week.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Take us to sky to see.
- 0:18Speaker 3: The store the way Well, Chalky and I am the
- 0:22Speaker 3: everything behind Nichols saus Rax, a crossover band or project
- 0:26Speaker 3: from Brisbane, Australia.
- 0:28Speaker 4: Beautiful Chalky, thanks for joining us today.
- 0:31Speaker 5: No worries, It's good to be here.
- 0:33Speaker 4: Have you rose?
- 0:34Speaker 6: So as you say your solo thrash crossover project Necrosaurus
- 0:38Speaker 6: Rex will release your second EP, operation Party Destroy, this Friday,
- 0:43Speaker 6: November fifteen, So how you feel about it?
- 0:45Speaker 3: Oh freaking stoke man, It's good to finally have another
- 0:50Speaker 3: release out on this.
- 0:52Speaker 5: Little project that I've been working on.
- 0:54Speaker 3: And like I said before I started in twenty twenty one,
- 0:58Speaker 3: it's like a little bit of a fun, little let
- 1:02Speaker 3: loose and let a bit of steam off sort of project.
- 1:05Speaker 3: And I was just like, all right, I'll do it
- 1:07Speaker 3: all purely on my own own self, So I write
- 1:10Speaker 3: all the riffs, i'd record everything, and all the drums
- 1:12Speaker 3: and vocals everything. But yeah, it was more like an
- 1:15Speaker 3: excuse to just sort of let some steam off and
- 1:17Speaker 3: just have a bit of fun with it. But then, yeah,
- 1:19Speaker 3: I did UNI for a couple of years, and then
- 1:21Speaker 3: this year I sort of came back and went, I
- 1:23Speaker 3: want to do a follow up, and I thought I'd
- 1:24Speaker 3: go a little bit more ham on this one and
- 1:27Speaker 3: try and go and get a bit more out there
- 1:29Speaker 3: and make up a crazy story about dinosaurs partying and
- 1:31Speaker 3: that sort of thing, and see where I can.
- 1:33Speaker 5: Go with it.
- 1:34Speaker 6: Well, we'll get into the storyline a little bit later,
- 1:37Speaker 6: but the press release caused the album crossover thrash, But
- 1:41Speaker 6: there's a lot more going on than just that, Like
- 1:43Speaker 6: how would you describe Operation Party Destroy Musically?
- 1:47Speaker 3: It's got a bit of a bit of crossover, bit,
- 1:49Speaker 3: a little bit of park, a little bit of probably
- 1:51Speaker 3: more thrash this one, especially because the last song is
- 1:54Speaker 3: like seven minutes long, which is you know, most crossover
- 1:57Speaker 3: songs are like one, two, three minutes long with that,
- 2:00Speaker 3: so yeah, the average song being like four minutes on
- 2:04Speaker 3: this one is probably pushing it for a crossover. But
- 2:07Speaker 3: it's pretty funny that, Yeah, there's a there's like a
- 2:09Speaker 3: seven minute song on there, but I cut it up
- 2:12Speaker 3: into like four sections, so it's still kind of like
- 2:14Speaker 3: four different songs.
- 2:14Speaker 5: That sort of merge together into one. But at the
- 2:17Speaker 5: end of the day, I guess.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Yeah, the one track is seven minutes, so it's been
- 2:20Speaker 3: out there for crossover, but there's.
- 2:22Speaker 5: A tiny bit of like death Bettle Threat as well.
- 2:24Speaker 3: I've got a few blast beats in there, and it's
- 2:27Speaker 3: all in standards, so it's not like heavy heavy, but
- 2:29Speaker 3: it's like heavy in.
- 2:30Speaker 5: Terms of standard tuning concerns, I guess. But yeah, it's
- 2:33Speaker 5: a little bit of everything.
- 2:34Speaker 3: But at the end of the day, I've had to
- 2:35Speaker 3: barrel up down probe. Just yeah, crossover and slash the rash.
- 2:38Speaker 6: Yeah, how does it diff twenty twenty one debut Peggas
- 2:43Speaker 6: Ezekiel Peggas Ezekiel.
- 2:45Speaker 3: So yeah, that's the name of the the utlesaurus Rex mascot,
- 2:49Speaker 3: I guess to some stupid name account with. But yeah,
- 2:55Speaker 3: I think this one's obviously a lot different because it's
- 2:57Speaker 3: a concept dpiece. It has like a story behind it,
- 3:00Speaker 3: whereas the first release was more like just a bunch
- 3:02Speaker 3: of songs I renally put together.
- 3:05Speaker 5: I recorded all those and like.
- 3:07Speaker 3: I recorded the drums all in like one sitting where
- 3:10Speaker 3: I just like sat down and just bashed through like.
- 3:12Speaker 5: A few quick drum tracks and then just wrote rifts
- 3:15Speaker 5: over them.
- 3:16Speaker 3: And this one, this time around, actually sat down and
- 3:18Speaker 3: actually wrote the risk together and like actually constructed the
- 3:21Speaker 3: songs properly so it wasn't just random drum tracks and whatnot.
- 3:25Speaker 5: But yeah, I think this one definitely.
- 3:28Speaker 3: I know that my vocals were definitely the one I
- 3:30Speaker 3: was trying to work on the most, because I feel
- 3:32Speaker 3: like I've got my guitaring and bass and drums all
- 3:35Speaker 3: down pretty pat with like writing thrash stuff. But the
- 3:38Speaker 3: one thing I wanted to work on this time was
- 3:40Speaker 3: my lyrics and my vocals especially, And I think I
- 3:43Speaker 3: spent like, I think there was one song, I'm pretty
- 3:45Speaker 3: sure it was the last one, the Voss or Radioactive.
- 3:49Speaker 5: I think I spent at least four or.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Five different sessions on just trying to like i'd go
- 3:53Speaker 3: through do like one chunk, come back to another chunk,
- 3:56Speaker 3: and then I'd just.
- 3:57Speaker 5: Go through bit by bit.
- 3:58Speaker 3: But then I would I, yeah, if I heard something
- 4:01Speaker 3: that was a bit off, I'd just go back and
- 4:03Speaker 3: redo it again. And I really pushed myself vocally this time,
- 4:06Speaker 3: and I think it's probably the best vocals I've put out.
- 4:08Speaker 5: I'm pretty happy with it.
- 4:10Speaker 6: But I think it's important to point out too before
- 4:12Speaker 6: we go any further, that it's there's a light aside
- 4:15Speaker 6: to the album.
- 4:16Speaker 4: It's a lot of fun too.
- 4:17Speaker 6: Like I hate comparing bands for other bands, but along
- 4:19Speaker 6: the lines of Brisbane Spuck like it's sort of tongue
- 4:22Speaker 6: in cheek lapstick have fun. Then still the music still
- 4:26Speaker 6: metal as fucked, but it's fun as well.
- 4:29Speaker 5: Yeah, definitely, I love Fuck. Those guys are so great.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Toddy and Dan are awesome and like I've seen them
- 4:35Speaker 3: over the years live and they're just so fun. And
- 4:38Speaker 3: I think one thing I would to do with this band,
- 4:40Speaker 3: and I probably jump ahead of myself, but I actually
- 4:42Speaker 3: do want to make like I am bringing this to
- 4:44Speaker 3: the stage next year as a proper band. And one
- 4:48Speaker 3: thing that I've been noticing lately with like I don't
- 4:51Speaker 3: want to say, like the local scene, but just a
- 4:52Speaker 3: lot of bands in general. And it's not a bad thing.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Don't get me wrong. I love watching bands that are
- 4:57Speaker 3: like really talented and do what they do, but a
- 4:59Speaker 3: lot of them just like because for me, I love
- 5:01Speaker 3: like going to shows and watching a band.
- 5:03Speaker 5: It's running around and just jumping around and stuff.
- 5:06Speaker 3: And there was a band back in Brisbane back in
- 5:07Speaker 3: the twenty tens called Malachi especially that had this guy
- 5:11Speaker 3: lagging on guitar and you just run around and just
- 5:13Speaker 3: constantly just you know, it was so fun to watch,
- 5:16Speaker 3: Like every show you just go and you're watching like
- 5:19Speaker 3: an experience, almost like it was like they were putting
- 5:21Speaker 3: on something.
- 5:21Speaker 5: They were just energy and all this sort of thing.
- 5:23Speaker 3: And I just feel like lately it's just been really lackluster,
- 5:27Speaker 3: I guess, is what I'm trying to say. It's not
- 5:29Speaker 3: like not all the bands are like, they're not boring
- 5:32Speaker 3: and watch it's just that for me personally, I just
- 5:34Speaker 3: love watching energy on stage and when people are running
- 5:37Speaker 3: around and shit. I just I really wanted to bring
- 5:40Speaker 3: that into a band and I want to bring that
- 5:42Speaker 3: to the stage. So yeah, I definitely get a lot
- 5:45Speaker 3: of inspiration for Fun, especially because they're really fun to
- 5:47Speaker 3: watch and they have that sort of thing.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Yeah, most people know you as a drummer.
- 5:53Speaker 6: You've drumm around for fucking years, mate, and you were
- 5:56Speaker 6: very well respected for that craft. But you've actually done
- 5:59Speaker 6: everything with nicolasaus Recks. You've written, you've recorded, you've played guitar, bass, drums,
- 6:04Speaker 6: sun well it's pretty pretty daunting process.
- 6:07Speaker 4: Mate.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a lot to take on. Yeah, I think
- 6:15Speaker 3: with this like, I still like playing drums. I still
- 6:17Speaker 3: consider myself a drummer, and I don't really consider myself
- 6:20Speaker 3: a guitaristort of bassis, I more used them as like
- 6:23Speaker 3: writing tools. I've been playing guitar probably just as long
- 6:26Speaker 3: as I have drums. But I'm like, I don't have
- 6:28Speaker 3: like any amps.
- 6:29Speaker 5: I don't have any crazy guitars.
- 6:30Speaker 3: The guitar I've got is still the same guitar I
- 6:33Speaker 3: bought like fifteen years ago for two hundred dollars. It's
- 6:35Speaker 3: like some cheap like Fender ripoff thing and funny enough
- 6:39Speaker 3: as a kid in the scene in Jacob who fucking
- 6:41Speaker 3: found that like brand guitar? And I don't know if
- 6:44Speaker 3: he bought it or something, but he found it for
- 6:46Speaker 3: sale and it just like blew away that that brand
- 6:48Speaker 3: guitar was floating around somewhere.
- 6:49Speaker 5: It's called Caine. It's like this.
- 6:50Speaker 3: I don't even know if you can find it anymore,
- 6:52Speaker 3: but if anyone's got one or knows where anything is,
- 6:55Speaker 3: I'd love to know if there's any out there, because honestly,
- 6:57Speaker 3: I just bought this scene.
- 6:59Speaker 5: So cheap and it for some reason, there's something.
- 7:01Speaker 3: About the guitar just I can't let go of it,
- 7:03Speaker 3: like I want to upgrade, but I've written everything on
- 7:06Speaker 3: this guitar and I feel like if I stop and
- 7:09Speaker 3: go to another guitar, it's just going to change my
- 7:11Speaker 3: whole process.
- 7:13Speaker 5: So I've stuck with that. But yeah, I am more
- 7:16Speaker 5: of a drummer.
- 7:17Speaker 3: I always consider myself more of a drama but I
- 7:19Speaker 3: think I'm just taking a bit of a break from
- 7:21Speaker 3: drums for the bit, and I want to I want
- 7:23Speaker 3: to try and do some vocals on stage and see,
- 7:25Speaker 3: just try something different. I'm always I'm always trying to
- 7:28Speaker 3: trying to take risks, and I think this is a
- 7:30Speaker 3: kind of a risk. But I feel like we have
- 7:32Speaker 3: a lot of fun with it, and the lineup I've
- 7:33Speaker 3: got it's pretty cool. So I'm really looking forward to
- 7:35Speaker 3: announcing that scene very man.
- 7:38Speaker 4: Now, Originally, when you put this together, like you know
- 7:41Speaker 4: enough people.
- 7:42Speaker 6: To be able to put together probably a shit I'd
- 7:44Speaker 6: band to do this, but you chose to do it
- 7:45Speaker 6: for yourself, Like was it sort of like was it
- 7:47Speaker 6: to test yourself? Was it a convenience? Was it so
- 7:51Speaker 6: your vision got reproduced for you. I was there a
- 7:53Speaker 6: specific reason why you went down that path.
- 7:56Speaker 5: I just I always love writing, Like I just love
- 7:59Speaker 5: writing music.
- 8:00Speaker 3: And I've always tried to write songs for like the
- 8:03Speaker 3: bands I've been in the past, and I only get
- 8:06Speaker 3: like a riff in or something here and there. But
- 8:08Speaker 3: I've always I've always been writing probably since I want
- 8:11Speaker 3: to say I was like nearly twenty years since I
- 8:14Speaker 3: started playing drums, Like the reason I picked up guitar
- 8:16Speaker 3: was to be, like, I want to write songs, and
- 8:18Speaker 3: so I've been writing for like nearly twenty years, and
- 8:20Speaker 3: I just I just can't stop it. And I've got
- 8:24Speaker 3: like two to three different projects that I like dig
- 8:27Speaker 3: into that are like, you know, I've got Chalky Mate
- 8:29Speaker 3: that's a bit more of a like pop friendly sort
- 8:31Speaker 3: of bit weird on the like rock sort of side thing,
- 8:34Speaker 3: but still like sun thrashing there. But then you've got
- 8:37Speaker 3: Military that's like full heavy, like thrash, like really heavy.
- 8:40Speaker 3: But this is like that middle ground where I can
- 8:41Speaker 3: sort of have fun with it, and I think, yeah,
- 8:44Speaker 3: I just I don't know. I love working for myself.
- 8:47Speaker 3: I've always I've always gotten shit done when I work
- 8:49Speaker 3: on my own I don't know, like I feel like
- 8:51Speaker 3: I just I just had a cool idea and I
- 8:54Speaker 3: just think I wanted to get it out there and
- 8:56Speaker 3: have fun with it. So yeah, I like to take
- 8:59Speaker 3: risks as well, so you know, see what happens.
- 9:02Speaker 5: You know, like if I bring it the stage.
- 9:03Speaker 3: And it you know, it gets a bit of a
- 9:05Speaker 3: bit of a height from it, and that'd be fucking awesome.
- 9:07Speaker 5: So what you do with it?
- 9:10Speaker 6: You touch on this briefly before me, but there is
- 9:12Speaker 6: a sort of a conceptual theme to operation party. This
- 9:16Speaker 6: strow like basically centers around Nicholas Sauus Rex's birthday party.
- 9:20Speaker 6: But it's not your normal birthday with cakes and lollies
- 9:23Speaker 6: and games, is it.
- 9:25Speaker 3: No, It's it's said in like the mid nineteen eighties,
- 9:30Speaker 3: because I have a bit of a thing for the
- 9:32Speaker 3: eighties and all that sort of things, and you know,
- 9:34Speaker 3: thrashes big heydays in the eighties, so it's sort of
- 9:37Speaker 3: like I was just like, I'm always trying to think
- 9:40Speaker 3: of ways to like sort of tap into that that
- 9:42Speaker 3: sort of time frame, and I was like, oh, you know,
- 9:44Speaker 3: what do we just have like you know, Nucleusaurus Rex
- 9:47Speaker 3: and his nuclear dinosaur friends have a party in the
- 9:49Speaker 3: mid eighties and and just go out with like, you know,
- 9:52Speaker 3: your simple like references to like coke and drugs and
- 9:54Speaker 3: all that sort of thing. And you know, the more
- 9:58Speaker 3: I manifest this idea, I was starting to think of
- 10:00Speaker 3: like the stupid names that I could put with all
- 10:02Speaker 3: these different dinosaurs that had like nuclear terms to them,
- 10:05Speaker 3: because nuclear is like a big, big subject matter and
- 10:09Speaker 3: like thrash, especially crossover and stuff like missivile waste and stuff.
- 10:12Speaker 3: So I just sort of put the best of two
- 10:14Speaker 3: together and was like, let's just have fun with it.
- 10:17Speaker 3: And yeah, so I just started bottling the idea of
- 10:20Speaker 3: like dinosaur names, and then it just turned into like, oh,
- 10:23Speaker 3: why don't we just put together like a birthday party
- 10:25Speaker 3: for Nislaus Rex and he just invites all these friends
- 10:27Speaker 3: over and they've all got like different powers.
- 10:30Speaker 5: I guess I can go through all them once we
- 10:32Speaker 5: get to that question.
- 10:33Speaker 3: But yeah, it's just just a bit of fun really
- 10:36Speaker 3: at end of the day.
- 10:39Speaker 6: Now speaking of that question, mate, Like, there's only four
- 10:41Speaker 6: tracks on there on the EP, so I run and
- 10:43Speaker 6: run through them one at a time and tell us
- 10:45Speaker 6: a bit more about it musically and where they fit
- 10:47Speaker 6: into the storyline. Now you've given me a hard task
- 10:51Speaker 6: year to pronounce them all, mate, but I'll do my best.
- 10:53Speaker 4: So the first one is Bracchio plutonium.
- 10:56Speaker 5: Yes, bracchio plutonium.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, So it's a it's barring the braci plutonium,
- 11:01Speaker 3: who has like a rather long neck, obviously being a braciosaurus,
- 11:07Speaker 3: and so Nucleosaurus decided, oh, let's have you like have
- 11:11Speaker 3: a stripper like pole dancing on your neck. And it
- 11:14Speaker 3: turns out, though that Barry has an allergic reaction to
- 11:17Speaker 3: this strippers like perfume, and he's he has an unfortunate
- 11:22Speaker 3: sneezing problem where he excels like you know, toxic toxic
- 11:27Speaker 3: snot out of his.
- 11:28Speaker 5: Nose that like can burn people alive, like through acid.
- 11:31Speaker 3: So he has this misfortune of doing that at the
- 11:34Speaker 3: party and burns all these people.
- 11:36Speaker 5: And so throughout the.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Track you can hear like, you know, I think it's
- 11:39Speaker 3: on the bridge and the break game, you hear like
- 11:41Speaker 3: all these people like, you know, being burned alive and stuff,
- 11:43Speaker 3: and Nicosaurus rex ats all right, maybe just keep going,
- 11:46Speaker 3: you know, it's only just getting started. But but yeah,
- 11:51Speaker 3: it's it's it's a I thought it was a really
- 11:52Speaker 3: cool way to sort of open the EP up. It
- 11:54Speaker 3: just sort of sends a message out there, and like
- 11:56Speaker 3: as the songs go through, it sort of hints to
- 11:58Speaker 3: the fact that, yes, there is a a dinosaur that
- 12:02Speaker 3: is not so liked by the community, and he eventually
- 12:05Speaker 3: figures out where this party is and comes and made it.
- 12:08Speaker 5: So I just sort of wrote lyrics and they've just
- 12:10Speaker 5: sort of joined up.
- 12:10Speaker 6: And now the second song is called terror Reactal ter Reactor.
- 12:16Speaker 5: Yeah, so that's Tara Terry Actor is a terror.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Dactyl that has like the ability to like shower neon
- 12:24Speaker 3: like rain and like make a royal bories Elson's in
- 12:27Speaker 3: the sky and stuff, and so she does that and
- 12:32Speaker 3: of course being so lit up in the sky and
- 12:34Speaker 3: everything at midnight in La.
- 12:37Speaker 5: It's it's just set this huge like signal of like
- 12:40Speaker 5: this is where this party is.
- 12:41Speaker 3: And then the loss of radio active who's the evil
- 12:45Speaker 3: the los Raptor is like, oh, now I know where
- 12:48Speaker 3: the party is, so I then he goes off and
- 12:52Speaker 3: figures out where it is and how to gate crash it.
- 12:54Speaker 5: So yeah, that's that's that track.
- 12:56Speaker 3: And that one's a bit of a shorter one actually,
- 12:57Speaker 3: that one, but it was one of those songs where
- 12:59Speaker 3: I just like got to like it was like a
- 13:02Speaker 3: pump riff after riff, and then I got to the
- 13:05Speaker 3: end and I was like, I don't need to write anymore.
- 13:06Speaker 5: That's it.
- 13:07Speaker 3: That's that's done. So that's why that Shong song's a
- 13:10Speaker 3: lot shorter than the other ones. But I thought it
- 13:12Speaker 3: was like short and sweet though it's good.
- 13:14Speaker 4: The third ones try Sarah Toxic, Yes, so.
- 13:18Speaker 3: A three headed try Sarah Tops, Tim, Tom, Ted is
- 13:22Speaker 3: the names of the heads, and.
- 13:26Speaker 5: All of them have different powers.
- 13:28Speaker 3: But one of them particular that is pointed out a
- 13:31Speaker 3: lot is Ted, who's like a medic and he so
- 13:36Speaker 3: his job is to like watch people and make sure
- 13:39Speaker 3: that an't overdose and he can like heal you with
- 13:40Speaker 3: his nuclear surviva if you are overdose. But the other
- 13:44Speaker 3: two are just sort of like they got their own
- 13:45Speaker 3: little powers, but they're not really mentioned. But basically it
- 13:49Speaker 3: just introduced that dinosaur and then then yeah, Velos radio
- 13:53Speaker 3: Active starts making his way into the party, and Nicholasaurus
- 13:56Speaker 3: Rex is like, all right, we've gotta fucking man the
- 13:58Speaker 3: gate and get ready because of the tax about to happen.
- 14:00Speaker 5: And before we get to that.
- 14:02Speaker 3: We we have a bit of a guest vocal by Peck,
- 14:06Speaker 3: a good maid of mine who does this like guverll
- 14:09Speaker 3: thing at the end. And then he found it like
- 14:11Speaker 3: a sample from some like I think it was one
- 14:13Speaker 3: of those like reaction channel things where it was like
- 14:15Speaker 3: these I think it was like nurses or dentists or
- 14:18Speaker 3: something like reacting to metal videos, and it was like
- 14:20Speaker 3: slaughtered to prevail. And then this lady's just like it
- 14:23Speaker 3: sounds like a dinosaur, like a really angry dinosaur, and
- 14:26Speaker 3: I was like, that's.
- 14:26Speaker 5: So perfect to put at the end of that song.
- 14:28Speaker 5: So that's that's where that came from.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Then, as you said before you got Blosser, I need
- 14:38Speaker 4: to get me on one of them out.
- 14:42Speaker 3: But yeah, that's that's the big finale, the big final track,
- 14:44Speaker 3: the seven minute slaughter Fest. Yeah, it's broken up to
- 14:48Speaker 3: like four section, but he's he's basically found the party.
- 14:52Speaker 5: He's starting to attack everyone.
- 14:54Speaker 3: And then yeah, I could sit or like for ages
- 14:57Speaker 3: explaining what happens, but you basically just got to listen
- 14:59Speaker 3: to this.
- 15:00Speaker 5: It goes through the whole thing.
- 15:02Speaker 3: But he's got he's got his minions called constant Atomics.
- 15:05Speaker 3: It's really hard to say, but they're they're the copies
- 15:08Speaker 3: from the Durastic like lost, well the second one or whatever,
- 15:11Speaker 3: like the little ones. So they're like the little minions
- 15:14Speaker 3: that he's got that sort of hang out with them.
- 15:16Speaker 5: But I guess they wrap it up.
- 15:17Speaker 3: The whole premise behind it is that Voss radio Active
- 15:21Speaker 3: stole Pegas's Ezekiel's jacket.
- 15:24Speaker 5: And like battle jacket. So yeah, he's like hated him
- 15:27Speaker 5: ever since.
- 15:28Speaker 3: And then he's like they have his big clash at
- 15:31Speaker 3: the end, and then he he Nucleus Saurus Rex. His
- 15:35Speaker 3: power is to like he has like when he kisses
- 15:38Speaker 3: his victor like victims, he can like he basically breathes
- 15:42Speaker 3: this like smug into them that like takes all their
- 15:44Speaker 3: bones and ship and eradicates them.
- 15:46Speaker 5: So basically, you know, he makes Voss.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Radioactive into this like pile of just skin and battle
- 15:53Speaker 3: jacket and he basically wears them.
- 15:54Speaker 5: Over his back as a as a reward. So yeah,
- 15:56Speaker 5: that's how it ends.
- 15:58Speaker 4: Rother, shit got up in that head of you was
- 16:00Speaker 4: having you brother?
- 16:00Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I actually came up with all three of
- 16:03Speaker 3: these like over three days work. I was I had
- 16:06Speaker 3: to work with this like cargavention thing, and I literally
- 16:09Speaker 3: just turned up and had to babysit the presentations and
- 16:12Speaker 3: it didn't have anything to do. So I literally sat
- 16:14Speaker 3: on my phone for three days and wrote the Entice
- 16:16Speaker 3: story out and I got paid.
- 16:18Speaker 5: To do it. So I was pretty stoked about that.
- 16:22Speaker 4: And there's going to be coming out of physical copies
- 16:24Speaker 4: or j just digital.
- 16:25Speaker 5: Yeah, Man, got a CD right here. It's it's it's
- 16:29Speaker 5: actually a double double CD, so I've got.
- 16:32Speaker 3: One one disc but it's basically the first two EPs
- 16:35Speaker 3: compoled into one.
- 16:36Speaker 5: It's got a book load, it's got all the lyrics.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Yeah, it's really snazzy artwork and it's available now Nuclearsaurus,
- 16:44Speaker 3: rex dot band camp dot com, so order it.
- 16:48Speaker 4: Before we go.
- 16:49Speaker 6: I just sit up about the line, like I know
- 16:51Speaker 6: you you sort of said before you can't tell us
- 16:52Speaker 6: who's going to be in the live band, but I
- 16:55Speaker 6: can imagine, knowing you, it's going to be some parla
- 16:57Speaker 6: crack of musicians.
- 16:58Speaker 4: But have you got a rough time frame like we're
- 17:00Speaker 4: you think would be out there plain life.
- 17:02Speaker 3: I'm hoping by New Year. I'm hoping by New Year.
- 17:05Speaker 3: We haven't jammed yet, but I'm trying to organize that.
- 17:08Speaker 3: It's it's been a bit crazy because we're all like
- 17:10Speaker 3: sort of busy with our work and all that sort
- 17:13Speaker 3: of thing, and I've been like trying to work.
- 17:15Speaker 5: To get this out on the on the floor.
- 17:18Speaker 3: But we we have been talking and everything, and I've
- 17:22Speaker 3: been sending off like riff videos and stuff to show
- 17:24Speaker 3: out of songs are played, and they're not not crazy hard.
- 17:27Speaker 3: I just have a lot of riffs cramped into a
- 17:29Speaker 3: lot of songs, so it's going to take a little
- 17:30Speaker 3: bit hard to put it all together. But I'm I'm
- 17:33Speaker 3: hoping we have a jam within the next month and
- 17:35Speaker 3: then i'd say by hopefully by January. We'll announce it
- 17:38Speaker 3: when we're all ready to go, and we'll hopefully start gigging,
- 17:42Speaker 3: you know, March April, May of next year.
- 17:44Speaker 5: So looking forward to it because this will be so
- 17:47Speaker 5: new to me.
- 17:48Speaker 3: I've never been a front man, and it's gonna be
- 17:50Speaker 3: really weird seeing not behind a drum kit but on
- 17:52Speaker 3: stage jumping around with mic.
- 17:54Speaker 4: So well, let's wrap it up for now.
- 17:57Speaker 5: Bro.
