- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
- 0:06On today's episode, we're going to continue talking about Leon
- 0:09Black and his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Now we're learning
- 0:14that on top of the one hundred and fifty eight
- 0:16million that he gave to Jeffrey Epstein for quote unquote
- 0:21tax advice, he also gave him another ten million on
- 0:25top of that, and then after he gave him that
- 0:28ten million, well that same year, he also paid hush
- 0:32money to one of his accusers, guzelle Ganieva that same month.
- 0:38So let's dive into this article from the Daily Mail
- 0:42and let's see what's going on. Headline, Leon Black gave
- 0:46Jeffrey Epstein's charity ten million dollars on top of the
- 0:50one hundred and fifty eight million he paid for tax advice.
- 0:54In the same year, rape accuser kuzel Ganieva received hush
- 0:58money payments from and He Trust. This article was authored
- 1:03by Jen Smith. Yet more financial ties between Leon Black
- 1:09and Jeffrey Epstein have been uncovered. On top of the
- 1:12one hundred and fifty eight million dollars he paid them
- 1:16for tax advice and sixty two million he gave the
- 1:19US Virgin Island prosecutors to avoid being involved in litigation
- 1:24against the late pedophiles of State. So look the whole
- 1:29entire narrative that Leon Black was just another client of
- 1:33Jeffrey Epstein. We know that's a bunch of bs. And
- 1:37every time we get more information such as this, it's
- 1:40just more icing on top of the cake. A lengthy
- 1:45air mail investigation published this weekend also reveals that in
- 1:49twenty fifteen, Black donated ten million dollars took Gratitude America,
- 1:55a charity run by Jeffrey Epstein with the vague mission
- 1:58of supporting the depression of gratitude for the ideals of
- 2:02America whatever that means. It's just like those idiots who
- 2:07wrap themselves in a flag and then go around and
- 2:11talk about all kinds of unconstitutional bullshit. Stop it already, okay,
- 2:17Gratitude America. The only thing Jeffrey Epstein was ever grateful
- 2:20for was that his buddies in powerful positions let him
- 2:24do what he was doing. Besides that, dude isn't grateful
- 2:27for shit. And yet this it was the only donation
- 2:31that the charity had received at the time, despite having
- 2:34existed for three years. So this quote unquote charity is
- 2:39in existence for over three years, but they never receive
- 2:42even one donation, and then out of the blue, there's
- 2:45a ten million dollar donation from Leon Black, only for
- 2:49us to find out that same month that Guzelle Ganieva
- 2:53received a hush money payment. Yeah, nothing to see here, folks,
- 2:57just another big, gigantic coincidence, I guess. In the same month,
- 3:02guzel Ganieva, a Russian model who was Black's mistress, received
- 3:07the first of what was supposed to be many one
- 3:10hundred thousand dollars monthly payments to stay quiet about their relationship.
- 3:15So basically, what he was doing was funneling this money
- 3:19to Jeffrey Epstein so that Epstein could take care of
- 3:22paying off all of his hush money payments. That's what
- 3:26it looks like. Now he'll say it was about tax
- 3:29advice and this, that and the other thing. But does
- 3:32anyone really believe that, any of you out there who
- 3:35have been following this case, do you truly believe that
- 3:38Leon Black was piecing off Epstein to the tune of, oh,
- 3:42I don't know, one hundred and seventy million roughly just
- 3:45for advice. Sounds a bit strange. From one of the
- 3:49guys who is allegedly one of the biggest movers and
- 3:52shakers in the financial world. And we're talking about Leon
- 3:56Black here, but he's going outside of the company to
- 4:00get this advice from somebody like Epstein. How does that
- 4:03make sense to anybody? The money came from a mysterious
- 4:07e trust, whereas all of the other money she'd received
- 4:10from Black was from his bank account. In total, she
- 4:15was due to receive twenty million dollars from Black as
- 4:18part of their deal. In exchange, she signed an NDA
- 4:22agreeing to never speak of their romance, which involved meetups
- 4:26at an Upper East Side apartment across the street from
- 4:29where Black lives with his wife, Deborah and their children.
- 4:32So Leon Black was engaging in a relationship with guzel Ganieva.
- 4:38That much is not even disputable. The problem here is
- 4:41guzelle Ganieva made some charges, some accusations against Leon Black,
- 4:46and those charges didn't stick. They got thrown out in court.
- 4:50Now does that mean that Leon Black wasn't up to
- 4:53no good? No, it doesn't. And I think that anybody
- 4:57who's having somebody sign an NDA, it is probably up
- 5:01to no good. Why do you have somebody sign a
- 5:03non disclosure agreement over a relationship, unless, of course, you're
- 5:08trying to hide something, and that's exactly what Leon Black
- 5:11was trying to do. This dude had a wife, had
- 5:14a family, and not only did he have a wife
- 5:16and a family, but his wife was sick while he's
- 5:19out here creeping around with Guzelle Ganieva. Ganievo was given
- 5:24extravagant cash gifts, a Steinway piano, and treated to expensive
- 5:29evenings out with Black. He had also agreed to help
- 5:32her obtain British legal status and was paying for her
- 5:35to go to college too. In twenty twenty one, after
- 5:39Epstein's death and the Me Too movement that took down
- 5:42Harvey Weinstein, who frequently transacted in NDAs with accusers, Donievo
- 5:48went public with her rape and harassment allegations. And these
- 5:52NDAs were the life blood for people like Harvey Weinstein.
- 5:56They would have these girls sign these NDAs and that
- 5:59would pretty much give them free reign to abuse them
- 6:02as much as they wanted to. And then if you
- 6:05went and told anybody, well, look you were in a
- 6:07relationship with him. You guys had a financial agreement. So
- 6:11I don't even know what you're talking about. That's basically
- 6:13what they would try to say, and that's why people
- 6:16like Leon Black would enter into one of these NDAs.
- 6:20Do you think that you have the money to enter
- 6:22into an NDA with somebody? Furthermore, do you think the
- 6:25girl you met on Tinder is going to sign it?
- 6:27Of course not. But when you're Leon Black and you're
- 6:31a mover and a shaker, well you got enough dough
- 6:34that you can have somebody sign an NDA and then
- 6:37you can abuse them and assault them and do whatever
- 6:40you want, and then just refer back to that NDA
- 6:43if they ever out. You must be nice to have
- 6:46a bunch of dough. She first tweeted her claims, then,
- 6:50after he accuser of lying sued for defamation in that lawsuit,
- 6:56she shared more details of the affair. They had countless
- 6:59meals out in Manhattan, where she said he showed no
- 7:03regard or concern for his wife becoming aware of his infidelity. Well,
- 7:08why would he care? When you have as much power
- 7:11as Leon Black, as much money as Leon Black, you
- 7:14could do whatever you want. Obviously, everything's for sale. Remember
- 7:18in WWE back in the day, there was a guy
- 7:20named the million Dollar Man. Everything has its price that's
- 7:24how Leon Black and his buddies in the financial sector
- 7:27feel about the whole world, including a price on your life.
- 7:33She also described the alleged sexual abuse, though many of
- 7:36her specific claims were redacted. She called Black a sadist
- 7:41whose sexual proclivities were abnormal. Black publicly admitting his affair
- 7:46with Ganieva, which he called foolish, but denied the rape allegations.
- 7:52The case was eventually dismissed. Ganeieva's lawsuit is one of
- 7:57three to have been directed towards Black by a woman
- 8:00who says that he raped her. The other two, filed
- 8:04by Sherry Pearson in twenty twenty two and a Jane
- 8:07Doe with mesiak Down syndrome who says he raped her
- 8:11when she was sixteen, are still being litigated. They both
- 8:15say the attacks happened at Jeffrey Epstein's mansion in twenty sixteen,
- 8:20a year after he gave Epstein's charity ten million dollars,
- 8:24and Ganieva received the first of her one hundred thousand
- 8:27dollars payments from the E Trust. Money was transferred back
- 8:31from Epstein to Black, according to Airmel, and these sort
- 8:35of little innocuous transactions back and forth from Jeffrey Epstein
- 8:40to Leon Black. They might not look like anything, but
- 8:43in the grand scheme of things, if this was a
- 8:45RICO case, this would all be playing a part, and
- 8:48every last dollar that these idiots were trading would be
- 8:52part of the overall investigation. And you see why they
- 8:55didn't use RICO. I know we talk about it a
- 8:58lot here, but it's worth re repeting over and over
- 9:01and over again. If they're using RICO on local drug dealers,
- 9:06why aren't they using RICO on Jeffrey Epstein's criminal enterprise.
- 9:10It was in the form of a donation from Epstein's
- 9:13Gratitude America charity to Black's melanoma research charity in the
- 9:17amount of two hundred and twenty five thousand dollars. Because
- 9:22Black was the sole donor to Epstein's charity, he effectively
- 9:26donated funds to his own organization. Yeah, that's called money laundering. Okay.
- 9:30Did he pay taxes on it? I highly doubt any
- 9:33taxes were paid whatsoever. There is also a reference to
- 9:38additional five million dollars Black is said to have donated
- 9:42to Gratitude America, but the only proof of it is
- 9:45in a letter of thanks from the charity, prompting questions
- 9:48of whether he did indeed pay the donation and crucially,
- 9:52if he claimed it as a tax deduction. Yes, that's
- 9:56where you should be looking. You want to take down
- 9:58people like this, there there's one way to do it.
- 10:01Follow the money, because inevitably all of these rich people
- 10:05are up to no good. All of them are cutting corners,
- 10:08they're all insider trading, all of that shit. You think
- 10:11you get this rich by being an honest and upstanding citizen.
- 10:15Caribbean prosecutors say Epstein's criminal enterprise hinged on money stored
- 10:20in Southern Trust Company from twenty thirteen to twenty seventeen.
- 10:26The total was one hundred fifty eight million, the same
- 10:29Black had given Epstein between twenty twelve and twenty seventeen.
- 10:35Blacks ties with Epstein are being more closely scrutinized now
- 10:39in light of not just the lawsuit filed by Jane Doe,
- 10:43but also the one hundred and fifty eight million dollars
- 10:46he paid Epstein for tax advice. The Senate Finance Committee
- 10:51is investigating whether Black met his tax obligations through the payments.
- 10:57Why Black a titan of Wall Street with his own
- 10:59front would seek such advice from Epstein, whose own financial
- 11:03credentials were far less impressive, remains a mystery to many. Well,
- 11:09finally people are catching up. How long have I said this?
- 11:12We're talking about Bill Belichick here going to ask advice
- 11:17about football from a high school coach. That's the equivalency.
- 11:21So why is it happening and wiselyon Black asking somebody
- 11:25like Epstein to get involved in his financials, That's the
- 11:28real question people should be asking. Black's representatives have always
- 11:33maintained that the payments were legitimate, that he trusted Epstein foolishly,
- 11:38and that he was never involved in Epstein's sex trafficking
- 11:41of young girls. He has been given until September one
- 11:45to cooperate with the Senate Finance Committee investigation. Well, I'll
- 11:50reserve my judgment on this Senate investigation until we see
- 11:54more from them. But every other quote unquote Senate look
- 11:58at Jeffrey Epstein and his friends has been nothing more
- 12:02than perfunctory. And unfortunately, I don't have that high of
- 12:06hopes for this one either. All Right, folks, that's gonna
- 12:10do it for this one. All of the information that
- 12:12goes with this episode can be found in the description box.
- 12:18What's up, everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein chronicles.
- 12:23I know there's not a lot of money in the
- 12:26world of a public defender or working as a prosecutor
- 12:30compared to what their buddies are making over in the
- 12:32private sector. But how is it okay that somebody who
- 12:36is prosecuting somebody one day can the next day be
- 12:40that person's lawyer. How is there no safeguards in place
- 12:46to stop that sort of thing from happening? And there
- 12:49obviously is nothing in place to stop it, considering we
- 12:52see it all the time. We saw it with Bruce
- 12:55Reinhart down in Palm Beach as a prosecutor one day
- 12:59prosecuting Jeffrey Epstein, to the next day working as a
- 13:03lawyer for his co conspirators. And we see it again
- 13:06here in New York as the same thing's happening with
- 13:10Leon Black. You need to tell me, with all the
- 13:15laws that these people cook up down in Washington, d C.
- 13:19There's no law against this. You can't jaywalk, But if
- 13:23you're a prosecutor, you can quit your job and go
- 13:25and work for the person you were prosecuting. Can somebody
- 13:29please make any of that make sense. Today's article is
- 13:33from the Daily News headline X NYC prosecutor who investigated
- 13:38Leon Black sex allegations hired by firm representing him against
- 13:42rape accuser. Yeah, nothing to see here of folks, Just
- 13:46keep it moving. This article was authored by Molly Crane Newman,
- 13:54a Manhattan prosecutor who investigated billionaire Leon Black, has been
- 13:59hired by the law representing him against his rape accusers
- 14:03civil suit against him. I mean, look, even if this
- 14:06person goes and steps into their new position right and
- 14:10doesn't give them any information about this case, is anyone
- 14:14going to believe that? I mean, for real, It's just
- 14:17like with Brian Hart. Nobody buys that, at least nobody
- 14:20who's not biased. Anyway. You mean to tell me this
- 14:23guy didn't walk into that office and have some intimate
- 14:26knowledge of what was going on. Okay? Sure, And the
- 14:29same goes here for Joan Alusi Orbans. She's out here
- 14:34working to try and prosecute Leon Black and then all
- 14:39of a sudden ends up working for the law firm
- 14:42that he has hired. Yep, everything is on the up
- 14:46and up, folks. Joan elusy Orban's new job at high
- 14:52end boutique law firm Perry Guha enraged lawyers for guzelle Ganieva,
- 14:57who is suing Black in Manhattan Supreme Court sexual assault
- 15:01and defamation. Well, I'd be pissed off if I was
- 15:03the lawyer too. You're out here up against it as
- 15:07it is, dealing with one of the most rich, powerful people,
- 15:11not only in New York but in the whole world.
- 15:15And now you want to stack the deck against me
- 15:17because you want to have an ex prosecutor or working
- 15:22for you, and not just an ex prosecutor, but somebody
- 15:25who was working on this case. Now, if it was
- 15:27somebody that's, you know, in the prosecutor's office, perhaps the
- 15:31fifty steps away never had any intimate knowledge of the case. Okay,
- 15:35that's one thing. But stepping right out of your prosecutorial
- 15:39shoes and into your defense attorney shoes to a case
- 15:43that you were looking at, How is there no ethics
- 15:48situation here? That's an ethical move? Certainly doesn't look ethical
- 15:53to me, and gazelle Ganieva's lawyers don't feel like it's
- 15:56ethical either, Honey of his lawyers, say Alousy Orbont, who
- 16:02left the Manhattan District's office in January, led an investigation
- 16:07into potential criminal charges against the former CEO of Apollo
- 16:11Global Management based on confidential information provided by her and
- 16:16another anonymous accuser. So you see where the lawyer's issue
- 16:19is here. Right, You have somebody who has intimate knowledge
- 16:23of the workings of this case against Leon Black, so
- 16:27they have an idea on what's going on as far
- 16:29as the overall case, criminal perspective and civil. So you
- 16:35bring this person on board because you know that they
- 16:37have this intimate knowledge, and you know that with your money, well,
- 16:41you can manipulate a situation and get whatever lawyer you want.
- 16:45If it's somebody who's on the prosecution, ah, that's all right.
- 16:47You got enough money to dangle in front of their face,
- 16:50they're going to get on board. And anyone who thinks
- 16:53that's not the case, well, I don't know what to
- 16:54tell you. Just take a look at all of these
- 16:57ex prosecutors who are now defense attorneys, and I don't
- 17:00knock them for that. That's a good move on their part. Right,
- 17:04take the experience you learned as a prosecutor and become
- 17:07a defense attorney. That's how it should work. If you
- 17:09want to collect some dough but to leave a case
- 17:13the way that Joan a lousy or bonded and then
- 17:17to jump right into the same case basically but on
- 17:21the other side of the street. That is not ethical
- 17:24in my opinion, and there needs to be some sort
- 17:27of safeguards against things like that. How would you feel
- 17:30if it was you, I wouldn't be very happy to
- 17:33know that an next prosecutor who was working to take
- 17:36Leon Black down is now working on his team. Her attorney,
- 17:44Jean Christensen, asked to judge to force the firm to
- 17:47withdraw from the case. No survivor will feel safe disclosing
- 17:51their confidential information to government lawyers if they know that
- 17:54their confidence can be used to help defend the same
- 17:57man that they alleged sexually harmed them, said Christiansen. Is
- 18:03she wrong, like, honestly, is she wrong? Here? This is
- 18:07like a slap in the face of just the whole
- 18:10entire system itself. And then you wonder why people are
- 18:14out here telling you that the game is rigged. You
- 18:17want to talk about a two tier justice system, You're
- 18:19looking at it right here. It's absurd that something like
- 18:24this could even take place. A spokesman for Perry Gua
- 18:31described the characterization as reprehensible and said Alusi Orbin immediately
- 18:37recused herself from the case upon learning of it. Oh well,
- 18:41in that case, I'm sure she's not having any conversations
- 18:44with her buddies. You know, there's no scuttle but going
- 18:47on around the water cooler. Mum's the word and all.
- 18:50Alusi Orbon, a thirty three year DA office veteran who
- 18:54prosecuted Harvey Weinstein in twenty twenty, defended her ethics. She
- 18:59declined to comment on probing Black Well, that's probably in
- 19:02her best interest. And while she might want to defend
- 19:05her ethics here on the outside looking in, it doesn't
- 19:09look good at all. And it's just another black mark
- 19:12against the New York Prosecutor's Office in general. You see
- 19:16when I tell you that, I feel like they're a
- 19:18bunch of self serving people over there. That's how I
- 19:20truly feel. And it's a shame because the SDNY used
- 19:24to be the standard bearer for what justice was. We're
- 19:29talking about the office that went after the mafia. We're
- 19:32talking about the office that has brought down some of
- 19:34the most powerful criminals in the whole world, and they've
- 19:37devolved into this. So really They should be happy that
- 19:43people like me are calling them out so that they
- 19:45can get their shit together and get back to doing
- 19:48what they do best, and that's, you know, capturing real criminals.
- 19:54Not only have I spent three decades of my life
- 19:57fighting for survivors, but I have done nothing that It
- 20:00isn't one hundred percent proper, She told The Daily News,
- 20:03saying she plans to continue her advocacy in civil practice.
- 20:07Oh well, in that case, everything's all good. Here. The
- 20:11point is this, if you want to join this law firm,
- 20:13that's all fine and well, but you can't wait a
- 20:16minute until this case is over and done with, because
- 20:19all you're doing is making the optics of everything look
- 20:22even worse. And it just once again shows us that
- 20:25there's no safeguards in place when it comes to the
- 20:29people playing in the system. Right, we're on the outside
- 20:32looking in, you and I. But if you're on the
- 20:34inside here you're a prosecutor, you're a judge. Forget it.
- 20:38This sky's the limit for how you can manipulate things
- 20:41to your benefit. I am working with the best people
- 20:46I know, and I am very proud of it. I
- 20:48lose the orbon added, there's nothing here nothing to see
- 20:51at all, Just keep moving. How dare you question her ethics?
- 20:56She's worked in this business for thirty years defending survivors.
- 21:01Until you weren't defending survivors. It's all about securing that bag.
- 21:06And look again, I'm not upset with people secure in
- 21:08a bag. And if she was working for a law
- 21:11firm that was defending Keith Rayniery or R. Kelly or whatever, fine,
- 21:17great have that it enjoy your new found riches. But
- 21:21I find the ethical issues here a little too much
- 21:24to stomach. And then the excuses on top of that,
- 21:27Oh well, it's not gonna affect this. I'm accused from that.
- 21:31I mean. Kanieva's June twenty twenty one lawsuit accuses black
- 21:37Worth an estimated nine point three billion of subjecting her
- 21:41to non consensual, sadistic sexual acts that were physically painful
- 21:45throughout a seven year relationship built on coercive manipulation that
- 21:50started in two thousand and eight. Now do I know
- 21:53for a fact that any of this happened? No, I
- 21:55do not. But that's why we're going to have this trial, right,
- 21:58That's why we're having these perceis and having an ex
- 22:01prosecutor who was working on the case now part of
- 22:04the defense miraculously showing up. Well, that's an impediment, folks. Okay,
- 22:09that makes things a lot more difficult, and it makes
- 22:11it a lot more difficult to ascertain what really went on,
- 22:15because remember, once again, they're not paying for these lawyers
- 22:19for what they do in the courtroom. They're paying for
- 22:21these lawyers for who they know and what they can
- 22:24manage out on the golf course, if you get my drift. Black,
- 22:30who has not been criminally accused of wrongdoing, has described
- 22:33his relationship with Ganieva as a consensual, extra marital affair
- 22:38and claims she's trying to extort them as part of
- 22:40a conspiracy. So he says that this is all about
- 22:43money and she's just a jaded ex lover. That's Leon
- 22:47Black's defense. She also claims Black once tried, without success,
- 22:55to make her sleep with disgraced financier pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
- 22:59So you see why we talk about it, right, there's
- 23:01a lot of overlap here. Obviously, Leon Black being the
- 23:03patron saint of Jeffrey Epstein. Miss Ganieva saying that Leon
- 23:10Black tried to get her to sleep with Jeffrey Epstein.
- 23:12So there's a lot of overlap here, and then you
- 23:15add to it the sauce that Leon Black was one
- 23:18of Epstein's best boys one hundred and fifty eight million bucks. Well,
- 23:23better believe you're on the radars. Sir Black, who retired
- 23:28in twenty twenty one, has question swirled about his friendship
- 23:31with Epstein, is appealing a judge's decision to toss his
- 23:35countersuit against Ganieva. The suit accused the Russian model of
- 23:39colluding with his business rivals to extort them. Well, that
- 23:43didn't work out so well, and the judge tossed his shit. Said, look,
- 23:47you're this isn't based in reality, okay, and I'm not
- 23:51going to let you bully people. A representative for the
- 23:58Powerful Investment Investment matter said he had not heard from
- 24:01the DA's office in eighteen months and claims prosecutors are
- 24:05probing his extortion claims against Ganieva. They probably are. Look,
- 24:10they're probably looking at every angle of the case. Right.
- 24:13If they're smart and they're doing their job correctly, that's
- 24:15what they should be doing. The Manhattan's DA's office, which
- 24:20has been called out for going easy on high profile men,
- 24:23accused of sexual assault, would not comment or confirm whether
- 24:26it's investigating Black or Ganieva spokeswoman Emily Tuttle said the
- 24:31office takes its confidentiality mandate extremely seriously and survivors should
- 24:37view it as a safe place to report crime. Well, okay, whatever,
- 24:41but the fact still remains that you have ex prosecutors
- 24:45who think it's a good idea to hop ship and
- 24:48work on the very cases that they were prosecuting. So
- 24:52I don't know how anyone can think that's okay, or
- 24:54how anyone can be okay with that sort of nonsense,
- 24:56because when I look at it, all I see is
- 24:59more corruption. All I see is more nepotism, And all
- 25:02I see is another group of rich and powerful people
- 25:07manipulating the system and harnessing their great power and wealth
- 25:12to get things to fall their way, while the rest
- 25:16of us are out here, you know, begging and scraping
- 25:19for even a halfway competent chance in the legal system. Right,
- 25:25But Leon Black, while he's being prosecuted or looked at
- 25:28for prosecution, I should say, can go and recruit a
- 25:31prosecutor get them to jump ship or get her to
- 25:34jump ship. Excuse me and come on board to defend them,
- 25:38and we all know what it is. It all comes
- 25:41down to the almighty dollar. But for me, I don't
- 25:45find this to be ethically decent and I think that
- 25:50the miss orbon here should have nothing to do with
- 25:54this case. Now she says she's recused, and that's what
- 25:58the law office says, but her meaning Miss Kanieva, her
- 26:02lawyers are not happy about any of it. So we're
- 26:05gonna have to see how this all breaks down. But
- 26:08in my humble opinion, this is certainly an unethical move
- 26:13and the kind of move that needs to be looked at.

- 26:36The link that I discussed can be found in the
- 26:38description box. What's up, everyone, and welcome back to the
- 26:42Epstein Chronicles. Whenever you're talking about Jeffrey Epstein's buddies, there's
- 26:47one man that you most certainly have to add to
- 26:50the conversation, and that person is Leon Black. Well, now
- 26:54Leon Black has opened up about his relationship with Jeffrey
- 26:58Epstein in an interview with Puck, and honestly, everything he
- 27:02says in the interview pretty much just makes me roll
- 27:05my eyes. I don't believe for a second that a
- 27:09man like Leon Black had no idea why one hundred
- 27:13and sixty plus million was being spent with Epstein. I
- 27:16just don't believe it. Do you think guys like this
- 27:18get rich by misplacing one hundred million dollars plus? The
- 27:22answer is no. And anyone believing this guy's BS, well,
- 27:27I don't know what to tell you. Today's article is
- 27:29from The Daily Beast and the headline leon Black finally
- 27:33opens up about his pal Jeffrey Epstein. This article was
- 27:37authored by Kate Bricklett. Billionaire Leon Black is speaking out
- 27:43about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein for the first time
- 27:45since resigning from his private equity firm, claiming the famous
- 27:49men in the sex traffickers circle likely didn't know that
- 27:53Jeffrey Epstein was a pedophile. I mean, you know, that
- 27:56first arrest that wouldn't have tipped you off or anything,
- 27:59considering their a bunch of little girls that were brought
- 28:01to his house. But nah, just keep on keeping on
- 28:05with your dumbass narrative. And to be clear, Leon Black
- 28:08kept a relationship with Epstein even after the first arrest,
- 28:11So don't tell me you didn't know. Save that shit
- 28:14for somebody else. The ex Apollo ceo, whose relationship with
- 28:19Epstein tarnished his name and led the lawsuits accusing him
- 28:22of sexual abuse exclusively, sat down with Pucks William Cohen
- 28:26to defend his reputation amid continued scrutiny over his relationship
- 28:31with the late sex offender. Cohen wrote that the seventy
- 28:34two year old mogul grabbed a piece of paper from
- 28:36his sue jacket in the middle of their lunch with
- 28:39his PR team and scribbled a bunch of names of
- 28:42people who also hung out with Epstein at one time
- 28:45or another, black listed former Presidents Clinton and Trump, billionaires
- 28:50Mard Zuckerman, Reed Hoffman, and Tom Pritzker, as well as
- 28:53Epstein's old JP Morgan buddy, Jess Staley, an academic nom Chomsky.
- 28:59So what does that mean? You're just outing all your
- 29:01buddies as fellow travelers. Bro, That's not the flex you
- 29:04think it is, especially considering what we know about a
- 29:07lot of those people. Anyone who's out here talking about
- 29:11Bill Clinton like he's a good guy should get slapped
- 29:14directly in the chops. And the fact that the Democratic
- 29:17Party's trotting this dude out like it's a good idea
- 29:20is going to be met with extreme prejudice, I promise
- 29:24you that. And what's the deal with the Biden administration
- 29:27bringing aboard Epstein's homies. We had Bill Richardson involved in
- 29:31the Britney Griner negotiations. We have the current head of
- 29:35the CIA who was having lunch with Jeffrey Epstein. Now
- 29:38you're bringing back Bill Clinton. Yeah, that's a good look.
- 29:41And the sad part is there's people on the left
- 29:43that are going to defend that, Oh, Bill Clinton's a
- 29:45great guy. He was never man. Shut up. That line
- 29:48of thinking is do way around these parts. I'm not,
- 29:52in any way, shape or form defending Jeffrey Black, who
- 29:55knew Epstein since the mid nineteen nineties, told Cohen, I'm
- 29:58defending me. I don't believe any of these guys knew
- 30:01that Jeffrey was a pedophile. I certainly didn't. So let
- 30:05me bring up all these other people, let me name drop,
- 30:07and then I'll engage in some what about ism. So
- 30:11you don't know one way or the other what they
- 30:13knew or what they didn't know. I thought he was
- 30:15a fascinating guy, so yeah, I spend time with him.
- 30:17I'd go up have lunch or breakfast with him because
- 30:20I lived two blocks from him, and we would talk
- 30:23about tax and estate planning and financial things. I'm sure
- 30:26that's all you guys ever talked about. I'm sure you
- 30:29guys never talked about anything else while you were hanging out.
- 30:32It was all on the up and up, and i'll
- 30:33all had to do with tax and estate planning, never
- 30:36had to do with women, right ever. Black added that
- 30:40he dined at Epstein's New York mansion with others including
- 30:43director Woody Allen, TV host Dick Cavitt, and Trump's far
- 30:48right strategist Steve Bannon. Does he think he's dunking on
- 30:51somebody with that? Steve Bannon's another undesirable another person who
- 30:55was in Jeffrey Epstein's orbit. You see, here's the difference
- 30:59between me and the rest of these clowns who profess
- 31:02that they care about justice. Everybody who was involved, I
- 31:05don't care about the letter next to your name. You
- 31:08need to be held to account. And that goes for
- 31:11all of the faiths that all these people love to protect.
- 31:14You know, the same people who are calling for accountability
- 31:17when it was alex Acosta. All those people have slithered
- 31:20back into their holes. Or maybe they're just too busy
- 31:23worrying about Gaza. Everybody looks at it through the lens
- 31:27of this is public enemy number one for being a pedophile.
- 31:30He was smart, and I thought that he performed services
- 31:33for a bunch of his associates. Yes, and he was
- 31:36a bit offbeat in counterculture and eccentric. Yes, Black continued,
- 31:40Is this guy really out here saying this? So? In
- 31:42essence his defense of his relationship with that Stein is
- 31:46everybody else was doing it. Okay, great, good for you,
- 31:49Leon Black. So that makes you as big of a
- 31:51scumbag as everybody else. As The Daily Beast reported, Black
- 31:56stepped down from Apollo not long after the company enlisted
- 31:59a law firm to independently investigate his relationship with Epstein
- 32:03in twenty twenty, as stories about Epstein's sex trafficking scheme
- 32:07and his accomplice, Glain Maxwell, continue to make headlines in
- 32:11the wake of Epstein's twenty nineteen arrest and Jelhouse death.
- 32:15Black fended off questions from the media and investors about
- 32:19his entanglements with him. The Apollo probe, which Black now
- 32:23claims he requested, found that Black paid Epstein one hundred
- 32:26and fifty eight million dollars between twenty twelve and twenty
- 32:30seventeen for his state and tax planning advice, and portrayed
- 32:33a relationship much deeper than Black had publicly described. Yeah,
- 32:37it's no big deal. Everybody's off base here. Everybody is
- 32:41accusing Leon Black, mister billionaire, the victim. And I can't
- 32:45help crying into my top rahmen with laughter every time
- 32:49one of these billionaires tries to set themselves up as
- 32:52some kind of victim. I mean, for real, for real bros.
- 32:55Never worked a real day in his life, busy sending
- 32:58his goons to harass his accusers. And he's going to
- 33:01sit here and tell us that, well, he just didn't
- 33:03know anything about Epstein and he just got roped into it.
- 33:07Who's buying that nonsense. The billionaire art collector has denied
- 33:11any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein and the allegations that
- 33:15he sexually abused women at Epstein's lair. Now as far
- 33:19as those allegations of abuse, I don't know. I've said
- 33:21that from the beginning. But the other stuff, enabling, hanging
- 33:26out with Epstein, helping Epstein's image, all of that, all
- 33:30of that shit's true. There's not even a debate, there's
- 33:33no allegedly that's what was happening. Still, Black's friendship with
- 33:37Epstein has continued to cost him, While he and one
- 33:41of his accusers, Sherry Pearson, decided to drop their litigation
- 33:44in February. Another woman suit alleging that he raped her
- 33:48when she was sixteen, is pending. In January twenty twenty three,
- 33:52Black paid the government of the US Virgin Islands sixty
- 33:55two and a half million dollars in cash to be
- 33:58released from any claims tied to its investigation into Epstein.
- 34:03And the fact that the USVII would accept that bag
- 34:05to let this dude off the hook tells you everything
- 34:08you need to know about the USVII and how serious
- 34:11they are or not about justice. How long have I
- 34:15told you, folks that remember all the people out there
- 34:17talking about how Denise George is some hero and the
- 34:20rest of it, Well, guess what they were wrong. The settlement,
- 34:24according to the Times stated that it should not be
- 34:27interpreted as an admission of liability. So what was it
- 34:30a shakedown? Extortion? If you're not liable, then why are
- 34:33you paying out sixty two and a half million dollars.
- 34:36One of Epstein's victims settlement with the financiers of State
- 34:39included a carve out provision allowing her to pursue claims
- 34:43against Staley and Black. Cohen asked what went through Black's
- 34:47mind after Epstein's two thousand and six arrest for soliciting
- 34:51a prostitute, which preceded a federal sex trafficking probe into
- 34:55Epstein's abuse of miners and a sweetheart deal and the
- 34:58US Attorney's office in Miami that led to a cushy
- 35:01jail sentence. Black replied that he believed Epstein when he
- 35:05got caught up with a seventeen year old prostitute who
- 35:08lied about her age and didn't view it as the
- 35:10end of the world. Well, that tells me everything I
- 35:12need to know about Leon Black. And why is Jeffrey
- 35:15Epstein out here picking up prostitutes allegedly off the street.
- 35:20Dude has more money than God. Bring in an escort,
- 35:23Bring in somebody who does it for a living. You
- 35:25were out here trollin looking for little girls. Bro, Just
- 35:29be honest about what you are. And Leon Black over here,
- 35:32still trying to defend his friend Jeffrey Epstein, not doing
- 35:35himself any favors. I took it seriously, Black said, But
- 35:39I didn't take it that seriously. I mean he was
- 35:42with a seventeen year old prostitute, got prosecuted for it
- 35:45and got put away for a year. The billionaire added,
- 35:48and you know, according to him, even that person had
- 35:51shown an id that she wasn't underage. My feeling is
- 35:55there are serious things and there are things that are
- 35:57less serious. I didn't think this was the end of
- 35:59the life world. Frankly, so, a seventeen year old girl
- 36:03who was underage under the age of consent in Florida,
- 36:06by the way, and Epstein's having relations with her is
- 36:10no big deal to Leon Black. Chances are Leon Black
- 36:14is the same kind of sick fuck in my opinion.
- 36:16Now run home and tell that. And remember, we're not
- 36:19talking about a nineteen year old and a seventeen year old.
- 36:21We're not talking about a twenty year old and a
- 36:23seventeen year old. You know, people who were in high
- 36:25school together. We're talking about old ass, gross ass, cripkeeper
- 36:29looking dudes who were all fellow travelers. In my opinion,
- 36:35Black insisted that he stayed close with other wealthy people
- 36:38who went to jail. Lifestyle guru Martha Stewart, financier Michael Milkin,
- 36:43and South Bee's owner Alfred Todman. We're still friends. They
- 36:47all went to jail. I didn't think being with a
- 36:49seventeen year old prostitute who said that she had proof
- 36:52she was over seventeen was that big of a deal. Well,
- 36:55if any of that was true, don't you think that
- 36:57would have came up in court and your boy would
- 36:59have got off. Nobody showed any id. In fact, if
- 37:03she would have showed an idea that said she's seventeen,
- 37:05chances are old boy would to try and find a
- 37:07younger girl. And as far as being friends with people
- 37:10who have been to jail, there's a big difference in
- 37:12being friends with somebody who went to jail for whatever
- 37:16charge and then somebody who's accused of molesting little girls.
- 37:20Because let's not try and reinvent history here. Even back
- 37:23during this time period that Leon Black's talking about, these
- 37:27rumors were there, These allegations were there, and Leon Black
- 37:31making pretend that none of that's true. Is him trying
- 37:35to rewrite history and his bitch ass isn't gonna get
- 37:38away with that, at least not here on this podcast.
- 37:42Black said that he first met Epstein in nineteen ninety
- 37:44six through Wall Street polymath Elliott Skipstein Junior, and learned
- 37:49he was a Rockefeller University appointee member of the Council
- 37:52on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission and hung out
- 37:56with a host of high powered people, including Israeli politicians
- 38:00Elwood Barock. Now, none of that is the flex that
- 38:03you think it is. Once again, being a member of
- 38:07the CFR, while that automatically elevates you to scumbaggery if
- 38:11you're asking me and the Trilateral Commission, really we're gonna
- 38:14go there. Oh but you know he hung out with
- 38:16Edwood Barrock, so everything's all gully. Really, Edward Barrock's another scumbag.
- 38:22So in my opinion, Leon Black is doing himself no
- 38:25favors in this interview. Epstein would earn a spot on
- 38:29Black's family foundation and help them avoid tax liabilities aka
- 38:34avoid taxes like all rich people do, meaning stash your
- 38:38money by art and put it in places where the
- 38:41government can't touch it. Meanwhile, all of you better have
- 38:44all of your taxes paid up by April fifteenth. Black
- 38:49called Epstein an intriguing figure who was almost like a
- 38:52James Bond villain because all his staff were good looking women.
- 38:55Not under age, black at it, but good looking. How
- 38:58do you know did idea all of them? Did you
- 39:00take a look at Virginia's id? How about Hailey Robson's?
- 39:05How about all of the unnamed girls we never heard about?
- 39:07Did you look at their IDs? You dumb fucking moron.
- 39:11The billionaire noted that he wants flu on Epstein's jet
- 39:14to Boston with two of his children to visit Harvard
- 39:17and MIT, and that his pilot was a beautiful girl
- 39:20with blonde hair down to her waist in a black turtleneck.
- 39:25One alleged co conspirator of Epstein, who after Epstein's twenty
- 39:29nineteen arrest came forward as a victim, was a trained pilot.
- 39:32It's unclear if she's the individual Black met. Yeah, chances
- 39:36are it's Nail Marsinchenko who he's talking about here. And
- 39:40that's a whole different story for another time, Nadia is
- 39:43one of the most tragic situations that we run across
- 39:47in Epstein's whole entire sorded, bitch ass life turns. In
- 39:52the interview, Black seemed to paint himself as a victim,
- 39:55as news outlets, including The New York Times ferreted it
- 39:59out his payments to Epstein. Black ass the Apollo board
- 40:02to hire an outside law firm to review his ties
- 40:05to the trafficker. I'm the only one who asked for
- 40:08the investigation to be done. What a schmuck of my
- 40:11relationship with Epstein, Black told Cohen. I asked for it
- 40:15because I knew I had done nothing wrong. Goddamn, the
- 40:18revisionist history is too much. You've done nothing wrong. Okay,
- 40:21sit for a deposition. The January twenty twenty one report
- 40:26from Deckert LLP stated that it uncovered no evidence that
- 40:30Black or any employee of the Family Office or Apollo
- 40:33was involved in any way with Epstein's criminal activities at
- 40:36any time. There is no evidence at Epstein ever introduced
- 40:39Black or offered to introduce Black to any underage women.
- 40:43I don't buy it. Sorry, I do not buy that. Okay. Now,
- 40:47I'm not saying Black engaged in any relations. But if
- 40:50he was around Epstein this much, that whole entire storyline
- 40:54is out the window. Deckert also noted that in early
- 40:58twenty seventeen, Black man two loans to Epstein totaling thirty
- 41:02and a half million in connection with an art transaction
- 41:05involving Epstein. Epstein would repay only ten million, despite Black's
- 41:09repeated demands for reimbursement. Stop it, okay, just I will
- 41:13lets Wexner stop it. That money that you say he stole,
- 41:17or you'd get reimbursed for that was his fee to
- 41:20stash your money off shore. Do you think we're stupid,
- 41:23Well maybe some people are, but here on this podcast,
- 41:26you're not gonna be able to out hustle me. Bro.
- 41:28You are not gonna out hustle a hustler. Okay, save
- 41:32that bullshit your pitching for one of these jerkofs from
- 41:34fancy lad school. Black even told Cohen that before Apollo's investigation,
- 41:39he never kept track of how much money he was
- 41:41paying the convicted pervert. He had credibility in my eyes,
- 41:45and we did a bunch of things, but the paying
- 41:47of Epstein was never tallied, and frankly, that number that
- 41:51came out was much bigger than I had thought because
- 41:54I don't follow in my family office everything. Black claimed, Yeah,
- 41:58you get this rich by not knowing where hunt undreds
- 42:00of millions go. And you can say that it's implausible.
- 42:03Oh don't worry. That's exactly what we're saying, mister Black.
- 42:06How is this possible that this financial genius could throw
- 42:09away these amounts of money? There must be something more there. Yeah,
- 42:12I get it, but there isn't. So you're not as
- 42:15smart as you told us you were. Is that what
- 42:16you're saying? You're not one of the smartest men in
- 42:19the room, because for all these years, all we heard
- 42:21about was how great Leon Black is and what a
- 42:24financial genius he is, And in fact what you are
- 42:28is just a gigantic jackass. Black's bond with Epstein, Cohen writes,
- 42:34wasn't enough to end his relationship with Apollo. Instead, the
- 42:37falling out arrived after Guzel Ganieva, a Russian former model
- 42:41he dated, filed a lawsuit accusing him of rape and
- 42:44sexual violence. In turn, Black accused her of extortion, saying
- 42:48he'd paid her millions during and after their affair. The
- 42:52world is an ugly place, Black told Cohen and it's
- 42:55a beautiful place. Okay, it's both. Well, why did you
- 42:59cheat on your wife who was sick in the first place.
- 43:01You would have never found yourself in the situation you
- 43:03did with guzel Ganiyeva if you would have just kept
- 43:06your dick in your pants. But no, you can't even
- 43:09do that, right, No honor amongst these people. There isn't
- 43:12one shred of honor to be found amongst the billionaire class.
- 43:16And I'm convinced of that. This has been a terrible
- 43:19experience for the last two and a half years. Black added,
- 43:22I mean to have spent forty years building up a
- 43:25stellar reputation and then believing in excellence and everything that
- 43:28I've done is about excellence, and then to have a
- 43:31torn apart based on lies, fabrication. Me too woke, and
- 43:35I'm a huge believer in woman's causes. It's surreal. Oh yeah,
- 43:38you're such a big believer. And the funniest part is
- 43:42none of that has anything to do with what happened,
- 43:44you know what. The whole entire problem is here. Now,
- 43:48try and stick with me. It's very complicated. The fact
- 43:51that Leon Black was hanging out with a child molester
- 43:55that's your problem, sir. None of the other stuff, not
- 43:57that you got called out on it, not that you
- 43:59lost your job, not that people were being mean to you,
- 44:02the fact that you were not only hanging out with
- 44:04a child molester, but you were enabling him. So you
- 44:07want victimhood, my friend? Do you want to see what
- 44:09a real victim looks like? Just take a look at
- 44:11the women who were abused in the hundreds, maybe thousands
- 44:15by Epstein. You know what a victim doesn't look like. Well,
- 44:19a victim doesn't look like a billionaire name Leon Black.
- 44:23All right, folks, that's gonna do it for this one.
